People Should Be Working More: At least 70 hours per week

It’s interesting. I put a video I did on YouTube about work ethic, which has received many opinions in the form of comments, which have stirred people.  But as I have always said, what better use of time do people have?  Why do people think it’s OK to rush home from work only to sit in front of a television and rot away?  Most people waste their free time thinking about really dumb things, and I would argue that the world would be a lot better off if people worked more, rather than less.  I think one of the dumbest things we have ever done as a society is to devise a 40-hour work week because it’s an artificial constraint that we have imposed on ourselves, and for what?  People are not better off for it.  Often when they don’t work enough in life, they don’t have the money they need to do everything, and having too much leisure time is the devil’s playground, and they end up doing dumb, unstructured things with their time.  Most people are better off working for a boss that knows how to do productive things in life, and if people would just work more, they would have much better lives.  This notion that people need to be away from work is a destructive one and was brought to us by the communist movement that came to America through labor unions.  So why is saying that people should work more so controversial?  Well, it hits a nerve because it challenges a previous assumption that a lot of people don’t realize they have adopted, that has been bad for them.  Too much free time for people who don’t know how to do good things with it is terrible for people, and making money is a good way to overcome personal problems and work toward goals.  And that most people would be much better off if they only worked a little more, around 70 hours per week.

I never celebrate Labor Day because it’s a union holiday, and they have brought society too many artificial constraints.  People were far better off when they worked more, especially on farms where they worked from sunup to sundown and sat around the kitchen table tired at the end of it.  And talking about their shared experiences together as a family.  I would add that people were even better off after all that when they shared Bible verses and fell asleep next to a roaring fire in the fireplace, never turning on the television, because they were too tired to do so.  What was attacked through the union movement was the American work ethic, which was an import from Europe and all their Marxism, and it never had any place in the American workplace.  The whole notion that the owners and industrialists are evil because they want to make money, and should be stopped by radicalizing the work force, was a weapon against American capitalism, and it was terrible from the start.  It never had a constructive place in our society and was always meant to destroy a foreign rival with an export of ideas that would cripple our industrial capacity, an artificial constraint on our manufacturing ability.  Especially after World War II, how we responded to the global war effort was terrifying to our enemy because of how Americans willingly approached their work.  Back then, America was fresh off the hard work of American expansionism. Many people who worked in the factories then were fresh off being raised on farms by good, structured families.  And the result was terrifying to the lazy of the world who didn’t have a very good work ethic. 

Many people these days rush home from work only to do what?  Sit in front of the television and waste their time.  It’s not like they are sitting at the dinner table with their families talking about their day.  They have adopted ideas that were bad for them by the very lazy Marxists in the labor movement who purposefully wanted to cripple American manufacturing with artificial constraints intent to limit American production capacity. I have never worked a 40-hour work week in my adult life.  I work on various things about 90 hours per week and still spend a lot of time with my family.  But I don’t waste much time doing things that aren’t productive.  And I find that is the way it is with most people who are successful in life.  They work a lot and don’t have much time to waste.  When Elon Musk says similar things, it’s not because he’s a billionaire looking to exploit labor.  He’s a billionaire because he doesn’t personally waste time—the same with Trump.  President Trump has always had a good work ethic.  That’s why he has been a successful person.  One of the keys to success is not to follow the time-wasting imposed on our culture by foreign adversaries, and to work more in life, instead of less.  And people who do are a lot happier.  Not only do they make more money, but they can also use it for private enterprises.  But they have a sense of purpose in life because they are doing good things with their life instead of wasting them.

This is important to think about because if we want to Make America Great Again, it comes from more than just bringing jobs back to America from foreign markets that they fled to in the first place.  We have to admit to ourselves one of the reasons those jobs left, and it was because Americans accepted stupid labor practices given to them by Marxist infiltrators in the labor movement that were destructive to a good, productive society.  And those jobs were left for places where people worked hard and were happy to do it.  Hard work is good for the mind, not bad.  Too much leisure time is destructive if not filled with other productive behaviors, unless you work hard to build family relationships.  Or working hard to build community improvement.  You are wasting your time if you aren’t being productive at something, and when the proposal for the 40-hour work week was presented, it assumed that work was something our society shouldn’t be doing, so they were looking to do the least amount of it possible.  And the results have not been good.  So, for my part, I think people should be thinking about doubling the amount of work they do in a week to keep their minds on positive activities and toward something instead of giving themselves artificial constraints.  If you are broke because you only work 40 hours per week, that’s on you.  You should be working more on other things and filling your life with productivity.  Not working at least 8 hours per day, rushing home to sit in front of the television, and eating things that make you sick anyway.  You should work longer and more days of the week and do positive things toward self-improvement, all hours of the day.  You will find a better family life and be a better person.  People have many problems because they don’t work hard enough at more things in their lives, and things tend to crumble around them.  And that was the intent of the enemy when they infiltrated our labor practices from the start.  And it’s up to us to correct it now.

Why Trump’s Tariffs are Great: China was built completely off stolen money, and that is coming to an end

It is stunning how stupid so many people are, especially regarding Trump’s tariffs.  People need economic lessons.  I majored in economics in college, which I hated.  I thought it was boring, that the professors were stupid, and that the students were even worse.  I probably read too many books before I ever stepped into a college classroom for my good because I couldn’t get into the going through the motions thing to endure so much stupidity.  But I knew, even thirty years ago, that they were teaching Marxism in all the economic schools, which was surprising, given that Adam Smith’s Wealth of Nations should have been the entry textbook.  Nobody in America should be studying economics without understanding Adam Smith and putting their arms entirely around capitalism.  We aren’t a communist, socialist, or Marxist nation with a parasitic economic system, and all those traders on Wall Street have fallen into the schools of Marxism as their reference point, and that’s on them.  I’ve known about the influence Marxism has had in our political and economic fields for a long time, but this stupidity even shocks me.  People should know better what Trump is doing.  And thank goodness he is doing it.  Our trade imbalances were put in place for one reason: to redistribute America’s wealth to other nations, to loot the only real capitalist country in the world and feed it to all the crazy lunatic communist and socialist countries of the far east and Europe.  Yes, China, to those who don’t know, which appears to be most people working in the finance industry, is a communist country that has made all of its money off stealing it from the United States.  China did not create wealth and become the powerhouse it is today because it did something better in the world than everyone else.  They did it because they were built off stolen money, and Trump’s trade tariffs are designed to take that money back, as it should have been all along.

Go ahead and mark it on your calendars, these renegotiated trade deals from Trump will immediately infuse the American economy with trillions of dollars of new revenue, which has been part of our exporting portfolio.  The price of oil is coming down.  We will soon be shipping energy all over the world again, which will be worth trillions more.  And on the frontier of DOGE, we are going to address many of the assumptions about the size and cost of government that will pave the way for the future, where running our economy in the black will become the norm.  This is how you get there, and everyone should understand that.  They should have known this all along.  This should be taught in our colleges.  It’s basic economics from the perspective of Adam Smith’s capitalism.  I have several copies of Smith’s Wealth of Nations that I have read through so many times that the pages are nearly falling out of all the copies.  I have one in my office that I recently purchased because it comes up so often that people want to see it, and those older copies weren’t in a condition to be looked through without falling apart in their hands.  So, why isn’t that the case with everyone? Because it should be, otherwise we can’t even have a foundation discussion on economics unless that essential reference point is understood.  All these traders who focused on stock value should have seen the signs; it’s not like we didn’t tell you what was happening.  What they have been dealing with was fake value.  What they will be dealing with is actual value, reset by these tariffs, which puts the power position back into the United States, where it should always have been.

I want to mention a couple of things as a reminder of how we arrived at this point.  They are conspiratorial, but certainly not untrue.  Not convenient for people who would rather not know.  But Covid was a bioweapon created and released in China, which was accelerated to the world stage to knock Trump out of office during an election year.  COVID-19 was released shortly after Trump implemented the tariffs against China in the first months of 2020.  The free money was coming to an end for them, and they conspired with a lot of forces, especially at the World Economic Forum, to release a pandemic in the world to allow for the desired Great Reset of the global economy into a fully micromanaged Marxist perspective where China would rule the world from that position.  If you don’t understand that, go back and review all the evidence, and you will see that it was clearly what happened.  The other thing that happened was the conspiracy of the Federal Reserve to prop up radical leftist losers like Larry Fink at BlackRock to essentially use him to artificially prop up the stock market with a balloon that was always going to burst.  But they thought that by the time it did, the dollar would be gone and we’d be on a digital currency, and they’d never get caught for what they’d done.  The Fed and Wall Street conspired to print phony money with no gold backing, using it to inflate the market with cash that would be laundered through the stock exchanges, thereby creating entirely fictitious value. 

That’s what we do in real estate all the time, where we built a house for $ 50,000 30 years ago.  The house is the best house it was ever going to be when it started.  As it ages, it starts to fall apart and requires frequent renovation.  But our expectation of that value increases.  Today, that house is worth 200K or 300K, that same house, because we expect a Ponzi scheme where the future will pay for the profits of the past, until, of course, you hit the brick wall of diminishing marginal returns, which is where a lot of young people are today.  They can’t afford to pay $300,000 for a house that is still only worth $50,000 in absolute value. That’s what the Fed and BlackRock, State Street, and Vanguard did to the world’s money supply, and they thought they would get away with it because the world would switch to a digital currency before the balloon burst.  However, instead, we elected Trump, and he was intent on correcting this mess because he understood it from the inside out. He promised voters that he would do precisely what he is doing now: bring the value of the world’s economy home, which is what is happening now.  All those jobs shipped all over the globe because of horrendous economic policies will come home for their survival.  Prices in America will decrease due to increased competition.  And our economy will be awash in cash, lots of it.  And quickly.  The only people who will suffer are those who were betting on the demise of America, which includes many traders on Wall Street.  That is on them.  They were warned, and they placed their bets against America anyway; so, no amount of crying about it now will put the genie back in the bottle.  I am very proud of Trump.  But what he’s doing isn’t strange or unusual.  I’m just happy he had the guts to do it, and now everyone will see for themselves what they should have learned in school – how the economy works.  And Karl Marx was a slack-jawed loser that nobody should have listened to, ever.  And for all those colleges who taught all these young kids who are now grown adults Marxism, they should be giving back what those educations cost, because they crippled people, they didn’t help them, and now they are too stupid to function in the world.

What is Required for a New Lakota School Board Member: Its a system that needs to die

Coming up in the Lakota schools soon is an opportunity to elect three more conservative school board members, and to answer the question I have been asked regularly: am I running for one of them?  Because many people want me to.  Not to give a politically worthless answer, but in my opinion, people who genuinely appreciate the system should be the ones to run it.  I do not like the system, and I have no interest in working with people like that.  I view education as a reform effort, and I believe the amount of time required to fulfill a school board role exceeds 70 hours per week.   It’s not a helicopter position as it’s now for many people who are currently in it.  So I would advise people who want to help fix the system and are willing to do that level of work to let us know, and we’ll help you connect the dots.  But as far as one of those people being me, that wouldn’t be a good idea for those wanting to save the system in some regard.  I’m accustomed to being entirely in charge of the things I do; I’m not a very good consensus player.  I don’t even think the design of school boards in public education is correct; it needs a strong CEO-type to oversee these radical superintendents.  I don’t like the lawyers.  I don’t like the teacher’s unions.  I don’t like the way they are funded.  I don’t like what they teach.  I don’t think they work long enough hours, regardless of the level of employees, administrative, or the teachers themselves.  I support scrapping the whole thing and starting over.  However, there are many parents with school-age children who want to make the best of a difficult situation, and these are the types of individuals who should be leading the school. 

As far as holding on to the way things were in the past?  There is no chance of that.  I was watching the protests this weekend at the Statehouse against Trump and Elon Musk over their fears that Social Security will be cut, which isn’t even on the table.  However, the level of stupidity exhibited by some of those participants is genuinely overwhelming.  There is no talking to people like that with reason.  They can’t understand anything that needs to be changed, so, in my opinion, they should all be scrapped.  They are not prepared for what needs to be done.  I would argue that they aren’t even qualified to be parents.  I feel sorry for the children born into families with the kind of parents who go to these anti-Trump protests.  It’s not their fault their parents are idiots.  But I see no hope in any of those people; they are the result of a society that has experimented with Marxism, and they accepted those thoughts as a new reality.  And that is not the future of education.  There is only one way things are going, and no amount of crying like a baby is going to change anything.  The funding of public schools needs to change; it will change.  The government funding of schools, with unmanaged money moving from the federal government back to the local level, is not a future prospect.  It can’t be, and it never should have been.  People have seen what that system gave them, and they aren’t willing to continue with that method.  The per-pupil costs of educating students should be at least half what they currently are.  When I talk to people who are out there carrying signs in favor of preserving that system, they don’t understand it, and they never will.  Education has to be competitive; we need competition with other teachers, with other districts, and with other states.  The teacher’s union model of everyone getting a collective bargaining agreement for subpar work is over.

And as I say that, people will tell me tomorrow, and the day after that, and the week after that—that’s why I should be on the school board.  Consider what you’re saying and think about what you know about me.  Yes, I can speak very politically, and I work very well with people who hate me and plot against me with everything they can come up with.  My life is far more complicated than the most ostentatious Shakespeare play.  There isn’t any way for my life to be reflected in art because nobody would believe it, including the most conspiratorial of Shakespeare’s works.  My idea of the perfect school board member was and is Darbi Boddy.  She genuinely cared about making the school a great one, and she represented a sizeable demographic group within the Lakota school system.  And people from all political sides conspired to get rid of her.  Who in their right mind thinks I would put up with that?  Darby handled things very well and played by the rules, paying her legal fees to defend herself in ridiculous ways.  She never should have had to do that.  And I can say, I wouldn’t.  I would burn the whole system down from the inside out, along with all the people associated with it.  So be careful what you wish for.  I want what’s best for the people of my community.  However, what’s best for me is what people who deal with me receive, and I’m not sure people can see past the results they want, which are undoubtedly attainable.  But what would they do with the wreckage in the aftermath? That’s where the real trick is. 

I think there is a way to do it, but as I mentioned, I believe the job of a school board member at Lakota schools requires at least 70 hours a week.  It takes that long to read everything you need to read and speak with all the people you need to talk to.  The school board meetings need to be more prolonged, more frequent, and include more detailed information.  And the people working together need to build a team, not to resemble a Shakespearean drama.  And when I say that, we need three school board members who will work together, not against each other, and merge into the political faction of the teacher unions.  I have a very dominant personality in personal conduct, and I excel when I can give orders.  But consensus building is not my thing, and it never will be.  I’m the one you call to take the head shot.  Not the one who cleans up the mess.  And Lakota schools are a mess, and there is a lot to clean up.  And the people doing that need to like each other and to represent the community in the best way possible.  But there will be a lot of hard talks and times in the next two to three years.  Really, until Vivek Ramaswamy is governor of Ohio, we won’t be able to truly fix public education for good with competitive models and funding tied to the child, not the uncompetitive local school.  The property tax racket has to come to an end.  It has given us a garbage product taught by garbage people who are worthless in every category, and it’s time to put all that to an end.  As those protesters increasingly do in places like the Ohio Statehouse, they aren’t in the realm of reality, and that isn’t the fault of the rest of the world.  It is their social dysfunction to think that a school system can continue to get unlimited funds to sponsor a poor work ethic and to teach Marxism to the next generation isn’t even a consideration for the future.  I will not say everyone but me should do such a hard job.  But when it comes to delivery, be careful what you wish for.  My bedside manner on this topic does not come with any handholding.  I’ve been ready to pull the plug on the patient for a long time.  It’s a system that needs to die.

Good on the Ohio Senate: Getting DEI out of colleges

Good on Jerry Cirino in the Ohio Senate for introducing the SB1 Bill, which Governor DeWine just signed into law.  And good work to the GOP in both Houses at the Ohio Statehouse.  SB1 is the Enact Advanced Higher Education Act, which targets reform of higher education by banning diversity, equity, and inclusion programs (DEI), prohibiting faculty strikes, and implementing various other reforms at public colleges and universities.  DEI programs have been a disaster for our culture because they do not inspire greatness, but conformity to a standard that does not produce success in society.  This Bill is the first of many to come, which is necessary in public education in general because it has become so severe and out of control that there is no way to work with it any longer.  Equity and inclusion are not communist strategies, as clearly outlined in Marx’s written works, and do not inspire greatness in society.  It is a communist value system that does not belong in a competitive, capitalist culture.  What is disguised as fairness is a radical left-wing weapon designed to undermine our society from the inside out, and rot the minds of our children before they are ever able to fend for themselves as adults.  When this bill was first introduced, it naturally caused a lot of comment and protest. Therefore, it was good that the Senate stuck together and rallied behind Jerry Cirinio.  We need a lot more of these kind of bold bills in the Ohio Statehouse from both sides.  For too long, we let a small minority of communist oriented voices speak and cry for things because they were the only ones who showed up to the hearings, and politicians assumed that meant that they were in the majority.  And that the media would take up the cause and carry communist ideas that they would support by default.  But not this time.

To achieve the kind of competition that Vivek Ramaswamy aims to bring to Ohio through a merit-based pay system, we need significantly more of the 2025 version of SB1.  Most teachers, when you talk to them one on one, without the politics of a teacher’s union lingering in the background, agree with merit-based, competitive pay models.  They probably even vote for Republicans.  And increasingly they support Trump in the White House even if they don’t admit to it in public.  DEI programs have been horrible in the private sector, and they have slowed down the world horribly.  Everywhere we go these days, from drive-thru windows at McDonald’s to advanced manufacturing companies, we have a massive global society that can’t do much of anything right, especially hit a production target.  The quality of products in every industrial sector is declining, mainly because almost every HR department in the country has made DEI a priority, where compassion has become the standard, rather than practicality.  You can feel sorry for someone coming from a rough background, but do you want them making your hamburger at a drive-thru?  A society of broken people has given us production standards not focused on doing a good job, but on hiring people because of their skin color, sexual orientation, and even age status, rather than pushing employees to improve so they can compete for the best job and inspire great production.  Hard work has gone out of fashion mainly because DEI programs disguised as fairness have killed it, and Karl Marx is laughing in his grave at the poison he infected the world with, and many terrible people made into policy because they wanted to rule the means of production from behind a veil of control and influence.  DEI programs have been taught in schools for decades, and they have been horrible for the subsequent generations trying to make it in the adult world, and that compliance standard has been way off the mark. 

At a Lakota School Board meeting recently where they were complaining about just 9 million dollars in lost revenue due to charter schools providing options for kids to attend and to take their money with them, one of the new guys, Doug Horton said to the members of the meeting that he supports Ed Choice programs, but that he essentially didn’t, talking out of both sides of his mouth, because he didn’t think people were leaving the school due to a political exodus.  Parents concerned about Lakota’s support of DEI programs and Critical Race Theory did not believe these factors were the reason students were being pulled from the school to attend other educational options.  And as he said it, he said it with a straight face as if everyone was supposed to believe it.  That is precisely the kind of person that DEI has produced in the world, and why parents are growing increasingly dissatisfied with the public education environment.  I have heard for a long time at Lakota that school board members would deny that Critical Race Theory, which is a spawn of DEI programs, was even happening.  They would tell complaining parents that there was no evidence of Critical Race Theory.  You know why they said that?  Because they refused to look at it, and their public policy, established by many thousands of lawyers across the nation, has a standard policy when it comes to all DEI programs, which is to deny, deny, and deny, until you die.  And even then, continue the practice.  Lie to the parents.  Lie to the people who pay the tuition at these now worthless colleges, and make suckers out of them in public.  And when they talk about these things in public testimony, turn off their mic so there is no record of the exchange. 

School board people like Horton at Lakota know why parents are leaving the district, but what they say in public indicates an intent to mislead.  Just as they say that their purpose is to implement political DEI projects into the schools no matter what parents think about it, because that is their key to federal money, to build a management structure of DEI programs no matter what people really want, because as education institutions, they are all about money.  They don’t try to gain independence from federal mandates and state laws that are attached to funding because their teacher unions are primarily concerned with maintaining the lowest standard they can get away with to maximize their financial gain.  And DEI for them has been a massive cover story of corruption and deceit disguised as helpful fairness. It has been everything but fair, and it has made our students and our productive society much worse by bringing to our competitive workplaces communist ideas that have worked nowhere in the world, in any place.  They don’t work in China either, by the way.  The people there have a strong work ethic due to their culture, and they can afford to throw bodies at problems.  But communism as a DEI model doesn’t work anywhere, and any exchange program that partners with China should have never occurred in an education program.  China is a communist country, and there is nothing we need to learn from them.  The members of the Ohio Senate were wise not to take the bait and learn a valuable lesson from the Trump administration.  Stop listening to these communist fools, such as the dead weight protesting the signing of SBI in Ohio.  We don’t want losers like that setting the standards in Ohio, or anywhere.  Listening to them, as we have in the past, has not improved our world. Instead, they made it all, much, much, worse.

Marc Elias and Mark Pomerantz Committed Sedition Against America: They have to be punished and more for what they did

It can’t be forgiven or forgotten what Marc Elias and Mark Pomerantz did to President Trump to commit election fraud.  It’s not enough to deal with what they actually did, but we have to consider the intent, just as any legal matter would traditionally, and justifiably, be settled.  Because unless we punish them, and punish them hard with years in jail, a loss of their incomes and reputation, and perhaps even worse, these people and many others will do it again.  We’re talking about what Trump said about them when he gave his recent speech to the Department of Justice.  And I’ll go one further: they would have gotten away with it if it wasn’t for January 6th and the anger over election fraud.  These people had to somewhat play by the rules they intended to break because they were scared of people coming uncorked on them because of what they saw once Trump was removed from office.  So they at least tried to give the illusion that they were playing by the rules.  But at a minimum what the Democrat lawyer Marc Elias did to support Joe Biden’s election theft of 2020 can only be viewed legally as sedition and a conspiracy against our nation.  To further cause massive abuse of the power system in place, Mark Pomerantz left his job as a federal prosecutor and joined the Manhattan District Attorney to go after the Trump Organization itself and destroy the past and future president’s access to income.  It should never be forgotten that if Trump had not won the 2024 election, he would have been sentenced to hundreds of years in prison and would have been driven to bankruptcy.  Both of these guys went for Trump’s jugular without even thinking about what might happen if he were to win another election and be restored to the White House.  They intended to destroy Trump and to send a message to the rest of us never to play in their sandbox of Washington, D.C., again.

We all know attorneys like Marc Elias and cutthroat losers like Mark Pomerantz.  They knew Trump won the election, so they openly sought to suppress the evidence and to run out the litigation methods in the courts by using time against the concept of justice, knowing full well what they were doing.  And to keep the cover-up going, they had to destroy Trump so he could never afford to run for President again.  The message was that they had control of the system, not the voters and that they were going to use the legal system to remove a president from power.  There were a lot more people involved than just these two, but they willingly played their part in a coup of a people’s pick in the White House.  And at a minimum, they committed sedition against the United States. Sedition by technical definition, is defined as conduct or speech inciting people to rebel against the authority of a state or government.  It typically involves actions or words intended to undermine or overthrow established governance, encouraging resistance, insurrection, or disloyalty among citizens or officials.  Sedition differs from treason in that it doesn’t require an act of war against a state but only a mere advocacy or conspiracy to qualify.  And by that definition, Marc Elias and Mark Pomerantz committed sedition against the sitting government, which was the Republican President Trump.  Our means of resolving political disputes are elections, and they sought to tamper with them, in one way by fighting challenges in court because the process exceeded the timelines, so Elias could run out the clock in court filings because of the need to put Biden in as president was faster than the courts could process the evidence.  Elias also knew that the courts and the political machine itself could not afford to let people know the truth about the election fraud they had used to get rid of Trump.  They didn’t like Trump and they all did what they did to remove him from office.  They didn’t expect people to know what they were doing and stay angry about it for the next four years. https://youtu.be/3TRkuSGkx9c?si=FXzMhXZLkjmsZ8Mp

And Mark Pomerantz was going to validate what Elias was doing by ensuring that there was never another head-to-head matchup that would show what they did to cheat in the election.  In 2020, COVID-19 was used to change election standards, which allowed for massive cheating, which they couldn’t do again in another election.  So, the big fear, once Trump survived everything, was to get rid of his ability to run again with court challenges that would destroy him as a person because they had to maintain the coverup of the 2020 election fraud.  Once Trump was on stage with Biden for that June 2024 CNN debate, everyone knew, especially Marc Elias, that they would not be able to get 81 million votes for Joe Biden again.  They didn’t get it the first time because they had allowed voter irregularities to be counted as actual votes, and those people weren’t real.  And with all the eyes on the situation, they knew they had to try something else, so they put Kamala Harris in the role and pushed out Joe because if they had a head-to-head matchup, it would be obvious what they had all done four years prior, and they couldn’t afford that.

So don’t imagine that everyone has suddenly become cooperative and that Marc Elias and Mark Pomerantz are victims looking over their shoulders at a president who named them precisely at a speech at the DOJ where there is a new, aggressive Attorney General. And that it’s unfair to go after political enemies.  No, these guys are more than political enemies.  They inspired sedition against our country, against our election system, so that they could erode trust in our election system at the most fundamental level.  And they weren’t just trying to destroy Trump and his family.  They were sending a message to everyone who supported him that we didn’t have control of our government.  They were in charge, and if they had been allowed to stand, if they had succeeded in keeping Trump from running again, which they tried everything in their power to do, we would have officially lost our government to this fourth branch Deep State government where lawyers like these two seditious characters ran cover for a corrupt system that steals money from the people and gives it to themselves as the corrupt aristocracy of nonrepresentative government.  And they all got caught, and they are only being friendly and cooperative now because they hope their guilt is never revealed.  But Trump called these two out because they must be an example.  And he will slow cook them, let them sweat it out because they deserve punishment and more.  They are evil people, and any capacity for compassion toward their intentions has long expired.  And they have to be punished for the sedition they utilized against the United States of America.  Not because they went after Trump.  But they tried to steal our government from us and then cover up their crime with further crimes.  And we can’t have that.  So they must be punished in a way that will give pause to the many others lingering in the background, thinking of doing worse if they can get away with it.

The Mansions of Fairfax County: Understanding just how worthless the CIA is

Like most things surrounding Trump’s election and occupation of Washington, D.C., I like the government much more than I did prior, especially regarding the CIA, where Trump’s appointee for Director of the Central Intelligence Agency was sworn in on January 23, 2025, John Ratcliffe.  I still think the CIA is a ridiculous organization of unpatriotic losers who cause trouble in the world, lie to the American people without accountability too often, and blame their habit on “national security.”  However, I think Trump has a better handle on them than any other president, so as I did all around Washington D.C., my wife and I spent a lot of time checking out the CIA from the employees’ perspective.  I wanted to live where they lived and shop where they shopped; I tried to eat where they ate and see the world through their eyes as much as possible.  In general, because it always comes up regarding politics, I wanted to understand the politics of Fairfax County, where the CIA is located, and understand what being the wealthiest county in the United States looked like. Loudoun County just to the northwest of Fairfax, is the richest, but we wanted to be as close to the CIA headquarters in Langley as possible so my wife and I camped our RV at Fairfax Lake for over a week and used that as our base of operations for exploring Washington D.C., since it was so close by from that location.  These affluent areas are not from mass productivity and a diversity of economic output.  It comes from employees with high-paying but otherwise useless government jobs, especially at Langley and the Pentagon just down the road.  I can’t say enough about the benefits of RV camping to investigate areas like this, where you have all your stuff and resources, and can get far enough away from the topic to gain an objective opinion.

Every day, we would take the Washington Memorial Parkway into the city, so we got to see a lot of how Fairfax County lived from our base camp, essentially at Tyson’s Corner.  We shopped at that Walmart for our stay, visiting there several times, which I enjoyed as it was the first one in a skyscraper I had ever been to.  Walmarts are generally prominent places with big parking lots outside of cities.  So we expected a Tyson’s Corner Walmart to be one of the biggest and wealthiest stores in the country.  But this one was smashed into the first floor of a high rise, and all the parking was in a parking garage, so it was different.  I enjoyed going there to get our groceries, which prevented us from wasting a lot of time eating out during our stay, which is a giant time killer.  You don’t get to do nearly as much when you waste time on necessities like food.  On road trips, which we do frequently all over the country, we usually eat in the morning at our RV, in the comfort of our own space, and then again once we return to the camper that night.  Everything is much more comfortable than a hotel room, and it’s incredible how much you can get done when you decouple from excess human interaction.  But to feed that, you need access to a good grocery, so the Walmart at Tyson’s Corner took care of all our needs and gave us a nice window into the kind of people who lived there.  We were camped as close to the CIA headquarters as anybody could get, and I could begin to see what daily life was like for those employees. 

And let’s say I have never seen so many mansions in all my life, anywhere in the world.  The drive to Washington, D.C., from our campsite was under 20 miles, and it didn’t take long to go back and forth.  But if I had to compare it to a region, such as Indian Hill in Cincinnati, Ohio, which is the wealthiest area in that location, the mansions in Fairfax County went on for dozens of miles consistently, whereas Indian Hill is only a few miles with some hodge podge real estate here and there that was less than optimal.  In Fairfax County, the people were swimming in loot and had a skewed impression of life and the government’s role.  They were being paid a lot of money to be part of a big machine with questionable value.  You could see how much people would have been threatened by the proposal of President Trump and used the power of government to protect their jobs in the Deep State because they weren’t going to replace their careers with a private sector one of equal value because they were being paid way too much to do way too little.  Driving down their streets and seeing how they lived in very opulent settings, all that government power would and had gone to their head.  However, the area was also much smaller and less scary once you could see everything from a reasonable perspective.  I measured such things, for instance, by traveling from the Breitbart Embassy, where Steve Bannon and the gang do the WarRoom podcast, and driving back to our campsite, going right by the Pentagon and the CIA headquarters, and suddenly, some of the biggest influences of the world are put in perspective relative to each other. 

Yes, the Deep State was real.  But it comprised of people in big government jobs who had created a fourth Branch of government to protect their high incomes.  Not to take over the world so much.   But to maintain an illusion given to them by being brokers of the broken world of too much government power funded by looted tax money and not actual industrial enterprise. Prominent celebrities and ostentatious personalities did not own most of the mansions I saw in Fairfax County, as you might find in Beverly Hills—or even people you see reporting on the government with news coverage on television.  No, there were way too many mansions for that.  Most of the occupants were high-level employees at the CIA and Pentagon who were making a lot of money brokering in national security, and they were able to hide their worthless jobs behind a need for “national security.”  Whenever taxpayers questioned their worth, they would release another UFO story so that our fear of an alien attack would keep us from pulling support for the CIA, which was getting most of its money from black budgets without congressional oversight because of the need for “national security.”  However, they shop at Walmart just like everyone else, hoping nobody notices that what they do isn’t all that important.  And America could do wonderfully without them.  That was my perspective from our campsite and our RV, considering many hours of contemplation from our experiences.  It was a town built on looted money, and a branch of shadow government had formed to protect the illusion of value they were hiding from even themselves.  But the truth is all those government jobs could go away tomorrow, and the people throughout the rest of the country wouldn’t even notice.  So, to pave the way for their continued illusion, they spend their confiscated wealth on lavish furnishings and residences, hoping that reality never comes knocking on their door to tell them just how worthless they are.  Which is why they hate and despise the President and his supporters.

‘Serpent in Eden’: Whats really behind all the foreign meddling and partisan politics

I read a great book while on my recent trip to Washington D.C.  It wasn’t a book specific to Washington politics and history, and it is generally available by Tyson Reeder called Serpent in Eden.  I found it at Mt. Vernon, Washington’s home, and it seemed like something I’d be interested in since it dealt with foreign meddling and partisan politics in James Madison’s America, a kind of not much talked-about period between the Revolutionary War and the War of 1812.  A lot of political activity during this period got lost in the various wars that essentially shaped America as a new nation that is worth discussing.  I think people assume that they know American history if they know the basics of the Revolutionary War, that the Constitution was signed soon thereafter, and that George Washington was the first president.  But that really doesn’t begin to cover it all.  The Serpent in Eden is a really remarkable, tightly packed book with a lot of detail and would take a general understanding of history before really absorbing it.  It views the world through the eyes of James Madison, the tiny man but brilliant mind who shaped the Constitution and served as the fourth president of the United States.  But he was writing the Constitution as America was trying to figure itself out, and Washington was trying to preside over everything as a country was trying to start from scratch on an idea of individual liberty, which was a completely foreign concept at that time.  In many ways, it is because of one straightforward term: “We the People.”  The world didn’t understand what that meant, so they didn’t have much respect for the new country.  They did respect George Washington, but they didn’t understand the idea of willfully giving up power and returning to the farm after service to the people was completed. 

To understand the problem we have today with foreign meddling, which George Soros would be a good example, and just one of many, this particular period at the start of the country is an interesting story.  Because America had its original 13 colonies that it was trying to make a country out of, but there were still French holdings along the Mississippi River, Spanish in Florida, and England smarting from their Revolutionary loss and plotting to retake its colonies once a few years wore down the rebels hanging out in Canada, where the French were still hostile and had alliances with the many Indian tribes.  All those forces were plotting and scheming to use America to leverage their enemies, specifically the French against the English, and all early politics centered around these factions of Anti-Federalists, who became Republicans against Federalists, the early version of the big government advocates.  The trick was how to have a big enough government to deal with all these hostile countries that weren’t too big to suppress the will of the people it was supposed to serve.  The English and French thought such a concept was hilarious, so they posed a constant threat by looming in the background attempting to tamper with elections to swing policy in a direction of their liking.  There are a lot of lessons in the truly remarkable story of how America survived all this tampering to win the War of 1812 with Madison in the White House and having to escape before the British burnt it from the inside out.  It was a tight walk on a razor’s edge to build the kind of government we see today, and given the ambitions of globalism and not wanting America to exist at all, you can understand the real problems of our day by seeing how people saw things from the very beginning.

I was in the right mood to read Tyson’s new book, as it had just recently come out.  It was available at all the leading book outlets, but Mt. Vernon has a wonderful gift shop, as you would expect, and it was the kind of book you could get as a souvenir that captured the area and circumstances of America’s birth.  I was at Mt. Vernon trying to see the start of the country the way that George Washington would have seen it.  Not the way that historians with a very shallow grasp of history would have.  These were real problems that reside in the hands of our current Supreme Court as they try to keep our country as close to that razor’s edge as possible.  But it’s hard on a good day because America was never respected, and it still isn’t today.  What is respected is our version of capitalism, which produced a lot of wealth, and people around the world wanted a piece of that wealth.  But our system of government for the people was never understood.  Because nations were built around the concept of sovereignty, such as Napoleon Bonapart, who was Emperor of France, he could speak as a representative of the whole French people.  Or King George in England.  If George Washington was going to give power back after two terms in office, then who represented the government?  These fighting politicians in Adams, Hamilton, Jefferson, Madison, and others?  So, of course, in the chaos of all that political contemplation, the nations of the world plotted our demise, as they still do because they don’t understand how a government can serve the people rather than the people serving the government as one people who then dealt with the world.  It was not an easy idea to flush out.

So, the Serpent in the book is all these foreign whispers trying to steer America in a direction beneficial to them, just as the serpent tempted Eve to eat from the apple.  So, too, is the business of foreign lobbying, which is a big problem today and is at the heart of the tariff war Trump puts forth.  But there’s a secret in the background of all that, which really emerged from this period with Madison and the War of 1812.  And the Louisiana Purchase and Westward expansion in general.  The world does not know what to do with free people, who a regional monarch or emperor can’t control.  It hadn’t ever been done in the world, and it’s still perplexing to all nations.  And their only defense against it isn’t armies, but in political narrative.  They had infiltrated both political parties in America. As a result, essentially leaving “We the People” without any accurate representation, violating the Constitutional merits Madison and others worked so hard to perfect and for our Supreme Court to hold so tightly to the vest, as a matter of principle.  The defense against the various serpents in our political system of foreign meddling and influence was that the American concept was too big to alter.  That’s how Jefferson ended up with the Louisiana Purchase.  Napoleon never thought America would survive long enough to do anything with the land, so he thought it was a safe bet.  But he lost power before America fell.  The English were trying to push everyone into decline and never thought a country without a military could win a war against them, but Andrew Jackson ruined all their days, and the Spanish too.  All the hostile elements, including the conspiring Indians, were betting on America to fail, but it survived anyway.  Because the brilliance of the Constitution made us too big as a country to fall into such minor grabs of power.  The idea was more significant than the military plots of conspiring nations, which makes us more important than other nations.  Our ideas for personal freedom are more lofty than any other government on the face of the earth or in human history.  It is extraordinary and a big step for the human race.  And it was a real work of a miracle coming from human minds during a very tumultuous time.

The Hidden Menace Behind 16th Street: Marxist radicals behind labor unions

First, let me explain what is wrong with labor unions. They allow bad employees to hide behind good employees, and as a collective practice, they water down effectiveness. They view as work the entire enterprise of labor as being for the worker, not the work being done.  And it has been a disastrous experiment from the mind of Marxist thinkers.  I know in this new big tent MAGA movement that lots of union workers crossed over and voted for President Trump, so debate about labor unions is on the back burner these days, and Right To Work legislation in the states is less of a topic, even though its still a big deal for employers, because business enterprises don’t want to be stuck taking all the risks only to have a radical Marxist enterprise of low performing workers take control of labor management with a bunch of dumb, ineffective rules.  For Ohio to be a proper pro-business state, employers will need the assurance of a Right to Work state like Indiana has just to the west.  Otherwise, it’s not an apples-to-apples offering.  From my point of view, I don’t see anything good about labor unions.  They are the heart of the problem of school funding and have been a disaster since they were introduced in the middle of the 19th century, right along with Marxism.  The two things are tied together and have been horrible for the world.  So, with all that in mind, I wondered about the Black Lives Matters plaza painting on the ground on 16th Street in front of the White House before President Trump had it removed this past week.  I wanted to see it before it was gone forever, and what I found there was even worse than I had imagined.  The root cause of the problems was, of course, labor unions. 

During the hostile 2020 election year with all the Covid lockdowns and radical Soros backed color revolutions that were trying to burn down the church at the end of 16th Street, and vandalize Lafayette Square while the FBI, CIA, and many fourth branch of government Deep Staters plotted the destruction of the people’s pick for President, Trump, lunatics from the known Marxist group Black Lives Matters painted their logo on the street in giant letters to let the White House know that the aggressors of political destruction was on the doorstep of the White House.  All this activity was evident from inside the White House, and it was meant to intimidate Trump and his supporters into bowing down to a proposed fight that was highly aggressive.  Later, I learned that this was not just a painted road but that the letters “Black Lives Matter” were actually embedded into the blocks of the street itself, so just painting over it wouldn’t get rid of the message.  We also later learned that the taxpayers were on the hook for the vandalism that cost over 8 million dollars and was personally endorsed by the mayor of Washington, D.C., Muriel Bowser.  The painting was an intended message of aggression attempting to hide actual terrorism behind some guilt-driven sentiment left over from the years of slavery, which were always a Democrat issue.  Republicans freed the enslaved people and do not harbor guilt in maintaining the institution.  One of the most excellent Republicans in the history of politics was Frederick Douglass, who was very well-known during President Grant’s reconstruction period after the Civil War, a very prominent person of color and proud Republican member of history’s politics.  Democrats have tried to capture the issue over the next hundred years to attempt to erase their guilt from it, creating many of the modern tensions we see today.

Republicans have learned a lot from the experience and are pushing back, led by President Trump.  As my wife and I visited the city recently, it is being cleaned up everywhere.  Trump has set a high bar that should have always been in place, and other Republicans, such as Representative Andrew Clyde, are pushing to withhold federal transportation funds unless Bowser gets rid of the Black Lives Matter painting and renames the plaza “Liberty Plaza.”  So, a lot is going on that I wanted to see for myself, and upon arriving, a clarity that had not been explained in the news reports became very clear.  Because all through this, my thoughts were, “What do these businesses in the area think about this stupid, Marxist painting?  I wouldn’t want to look out my windows down onto the street and see such a think with crazy radicals looming from the shadows to take over the city on a moment’s notice essentially.”  And that’s when I saw that there on 16th street were many of the big unions, the Labor’s International Union, the AFL-CIO union, and the Motion Picture’s Association of America.  These are all radical Marxist groups and the reason we haven’t heard about them is because many of the people who are in the news reporting industry belong to an entertainment union of some kind, especially the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists, (AFTRA) which is part of SAG, (the Screen Actors Guild), so they can’t be too critical of labor union activity.  This allows these horrendously radical progressive groups- and when we say “progressive,” we mean “communist” in their sentiments to cause trouble in the background without recourse.  Now we know why nobody talked about the kind of businesses that allowed for that painting to be painted on the street in the first place. 

The real fight, clearly on display on 16th Street looming over the President’s house, that we put our representatives into, is that massive international unions are fighting for power and are proclaiming that they are in charge.  They used the George Floyd issue to blow into the Marxist minds of the fans to hide violence and intimidation behind a race war; they were trying to get Trump out of office and to remove any influence that voters had over the city of Washington, D.C.  The unions were in charge, and they let everyone know about it.  But the key to fighting them is not confronting them directly, as we have in the past.  Labor unions consume a considerable amount of tax money to exist.  So the way to beat them, which is why President Trump has not worried about them too much and even appeals to their members, is to take away their power, which is fed by confiscated taxpayer money.  That’s ultimately what got Muriel Bowser’s attention, pulling away her federal funds for sponsoring acts of terrorism disguised as race concerns.  Democrats caused race concerns in the first place.  That painting has been like a planted flag in front of our house for years and is only now being removed.  But before it was, I had to see it for myself, so my wife and I visited it a few days before the road crews came in and ripped it out of the ground.  But those labor unions are still hiding behind the public noise, waiting for another chance to strike.  They are the fuel in the background that stirs up these terrorist acts, just as they are all over the world.  And are the root cause of most of our problems of domestic terrorism in American society.  And to deal with them, we must remove their funding so they have nothing to work with.  Because the longer they exist, they will always be causing trouble toward America’s destruction, which is their objective.  They will never be our friends; as a general rule, they should be illegal in every form they present themselves in.

George Lang Tried to Tell Them: Woke politics is why Lakota is losing money

To answer the question that was asked at the March 12th special meeting of the Lakota school board, why were they losing around 9 million dollars out of their quarter of a billion dollar budget to Ed Choice vouchers and could they sue the state for money they assumed was guaranteed to them, a little fog has to be removed from the subject.  I was in Columbus for Governor DeWine’s State of the State speech, and there were education protesters in the rotunda making a lot of noise and looking horrible doing it.  Legislators were working on the new budget, and the fear was that public schools would lose money, which is the trend across the country.  Now, I warned everyone this day was coming, that Jimmy Carter’s Department of Education would be dismantled, and education funding would be built in a more competitive direction.  What we have been doing has not been working.  People worried about the future should be happy that Vivek Ramaswamy, who will be the next governor of Ohio, wants to pay teachers more.  He is a lot nicer on the issue than I am.  And for that matter, my personal friend Senator George Lang is too.  They believe that public education can be saved in some way, whereas I do not.  I think institutional learning is beyond help, but that’s why there are debates in government and education. Employees should at least be happy that Vivek and Lang are of like mind and want to preserve public education somehow.  Yet the protesters at the Statehouse were not the kind of people that made you want to dig deep into your pockets and give them more money.  They all looked pretty ragged and as though they needed to skip a few meals.  They sounded like entitled losers demanding more money in the budget from Ohio taxpayers who have not been given a good product that makes society better. 

So I was outside the Representative’s Chamber talking to several of our area politicians of Butler County and they were asking me if I was going to the emergency Lakota meeting where the plan was for them to join the Ohio Coalition for Equity and Adequacy of School Funding lawsuit against the state because Lakota was losing funding due to parents choosing to use the voucher programs already in place to give education options to their children.  When they asked me, I was already thinking about it; my phone had been lighting up for the previous 24 hours from people asking me to go because it was an emergency.  Lakota was already trying to build the foundations for a tax increase to pay for a facility project they were planning to vote for soon, for many millions of dollars for what was turning out to be a pretty crappy product.  And the kind of people who plan to work against that tax increase wanted me to see for myself just how ridiculous Lakota schools had become.  I was reluctant; I have not paid much attention to Lakota schools since they ran off just the latest conservative school board member the previous year.  I have worked to give Lakota a school board of reasonable people to deal with the coming education challenges, and their reaction was more radicalism like the idiots I saw in the rotunda, so I wasn’t too keen on the idea.  I was talking to Representative Jennifer Gross and Thomas Hall, among other people who were equally concerned about the invite they had to join in this special meeting.  And as we discussed in Columbus, my comment was that it was a hit job by the school board to set up our representatives so they could have an excuse to blame them for why they had to join the lawsuit.  I will credit them: Senator George Lang, Representative Thomas Hall, and Representative Jennifer Gross all attended the meeting by phone because they were either still in Columbus or, in George’s case, out of the state.  But they lent their voices in surprisingly effective ways.  I decided to return from Columbus and attend the meeting in person because it seemed like a good chance to see the new school board and administrators.  After all the mess over the former superintendent, Matt Miller and a purge of personnel since then my attitude toward public funding of schools was that Trump was going to be re-elected, he was going to dismantled the Department of Education and all education issues were going back to the states where people like Vivek Ramaswamy was going to have to figure out how to compete against other states.  The teacher’s union-run public education system was a thing of the past.  I tried to warn everyone, but they didn’t listen. 

And I was right about the meeting.  Our area representatives did a nice job providing comments about whether or not school vouchers were here to stay in public education or whether it was a fad that would fade away.  After the remarks were given, the school board did what they went there to do: they voted to join the lawsuit to get money from taxpayers they had not earned.  It’s the case that will lose in court a few years down the road because people can’t be compelled to purchase a bad product, and public education has shown itself to be deficient in every way it is measured.  The school board’s plan was to blame the politicians who had not secured funding for their bottomless pit approach to school budgets.  However, the representatives did so well that it wasn’t easy to blame them for the existence of school vouchers such as the Ed Choice program. 

George Lang told them that the cause of parents wanting to leave Lakota schools through a voucher was the fault of the school itself for accepting woke politics that those parents didn’t want their kids exposed to.  It was a blunt statement, but it was given with as much love as could be provided in that circumstance.  And the large audience attending, representing the teacher’s union mentality, the same kind of people protesting at the Statehouse rotunda earlier that day laughed and heckled George with boisterous sentiment.  As Doug Horton wanted to put on a show to fight George, as did another school board member and the new superintendent, the comment was the truth behind the matter.  Increasingly, Lakota schools would have to compete for every kid enrolled there, and their funding approach was dependent on their ability to be an education destination instead of funding attached to the zip code.  And the bottom line was that people who wanted to take their kids out of Lakota schools and drive them across town to another school was because more and more parents didn’t want to share space or time with the kind of people who were giggling at George Lang.  We just watched that same school board run off Darbi Bobby, the previous school board member representing a percentage of the Lakota population.  And she was just the recent.  This has been the practice of Lakota’s school board, to control the message by eliminating dissenting opinions because the system isn’t designed to deal with actual management.  And if only 4 to 12% of the total Lakota population found they didn’t want to deal with transgender politics, or essentially the Democrat party platform which comes with just about all public education enterprises, then given a choice, which is only going to expand under President Trump and future governor Vivek Ramaswamy, parents would take their kids out of Lakota so not to deal with people like Doug Horton and the rest of the school board.  Their desire to fight George Lang over the truth that he tried to give them, bluntly, was the same thing driving away the dollars they thought they were entitled to have in the form of a budget.  Just a preview of that court case: the courts will not favor these collective schools joined under the Ohio Coalition for Equity and Adequacy of School Funding lawsuit because you can’t compel people, such as taxpayers, to buy a bad product.  And public education has become a lousy product over time with gross mismanagement everywhere.  We also saw examples of bad management at that Lakota school board meeting with clueless people and their very liberal politics.  Parents don’t want to share space with people who don’t share their values, and they are picking up and moving to other options because of woke politics.  The blame for that falls on the people who dug in and retained that system, which never worked—and instead insisted on throwing more money at a failed approach.  Rather than looking in the mirror and taking responsibility for the issue, they tried to blame everyone else for why they were being rejected under a competitive approach.  And that of course, won’t solve the school funding problem.  You can’t pave over the problem with more money.  You have to actually solve the problem, which are the people in public education themselves.  Parents want to reject having to deal with people who don’t share their values.  And if Lakota wants to survive into the future, it is going to have to make itself more competitive in attracting dollars, like everyone else in the world has to.

We have a great senator in Ohio

If you listen to the school board meeting from March 12, 2025, included here, you will hear the audience get into an uproar whenever George Lang spoke, as he became the target of the teacher union types due to his opening statements about wokeness in Lakota schools.  George was speaking his opinion on the matter, and those people in the audience, and some of the school board members themselves, fed into that communication.  So for Doug Horton and the rest of the mystified cast of characters at Lakota schools, that is your answer as to why parents are looking for School Choice options.  Think of the soccer mom who voted for Trump at a Friday night football game. Or a Republican is at an art show for their child at school, and they are interacting with these liberal radicals advocating for transgender bathrooms. Do you think they want to be made fun of like that audience did to George Lang?  Senator Lang is a professional who is used to that kind of thing and likes it. But does the average family attending schools at Lakota want to deal with people like this?  Of course not.  Do they want to fight with people like that?  They saw what they did, including that school board, to Darbi Boddy and other conservative school board members from the past.  Rather than fight those people, they look for a school voucher and take their kid to a school they think is nicer and better for them and their children.  That is why people are fleeing the Lakota district, and George was trying very nicely to tell the Lakota school board that to survive in the future, they need to make it so people want to attend Lakota.  But not that people who have different ideas about things are going to be beat over the head with Democrat politics and that they have to take it because there are no other education options.  Parents want options and don’t want to deal with political radicals who do not share their fundamental social values.  That’s why Lakota lost that 9 million dollars out of their budget and why they are projected to lose a lot more than that.  It’s because they have mismanaged the district with the assumption that the children were theirs and not managed by the parents who want the best opportunity for their children.  And by choice, parents have reasoned that Lakota is not it for them.  It’s Lakota’s job to convince them otherwise. Not to sue for money they did not earn. 

The trend of today, with D.O.G.E. and the massive cuts to the Department of Education, and the election of Trump and others to office positions, George Lang included, as well as the future of Vivek Ramaswamy, are because the employees of government, such as Lakota schools, failed.  Protesting against voters’ choices will not solve the problem of how people came to feel the way they did.  Government employees, including school teachers and administrators, did not provide a good product, and people have come to admit that their service was not worth the money.  That is the environment in which Lakota schools and many other school districts find themselves.  And it won’t get better for them.  They thought that the politics of guilt would last forever and the entire levy structure of using children to acquire more tax revenue to feed greedy, liberal unions would always continue.  But the truth is, as we know it today, public education is a thing of the past, and it’s never coming back.  People, if given a choice, will not choose to spend their time around people who are hostile to them.  The way these radicals shut down opposition at school board meetings in general is why the Trump administration is opening up School Choice options and sending their management back to the states.  The radicals had five decades to figure it out, and what they gave us is embarrassing at best and certainly not worth the money we’ve spent on it.  So, who is to blame?  Attend a school board meeting and witness the quality of the people screaming for more money, and the answer will quickly become apparent.  The current school structure, where money is attached to a zip code rather than the child, is like the Berlin Wall trying to kill people attempting to escape to the West.  The mentality is the same, and the more the teachers’ unions dig in, the more people want to be as far away from them as possible.  And the people they vote for in office are those who will give them options away from those radical government employees.

Trump is Pardoning Pete Rose: Rewarding risk takers in our society is part of Making America Great Again

Making America Great Again is about more than President Trump waving a magic wand and suddenly making everything better.  It’s about an attitude and how Americans should feel about themselves that matters most, and breaking this terrible spell given to the world through the administrative state through woke policy making.  To that point, there has been a very silent killer lurking in the background of all our lives that has been looming over the fine line between success and failure, and that is the management of risk and rewards in a society and understanding how important those things are to a healthy culture.  So, for me, especially living in Cincinnati, I was not surprised by President Trump’s statements about Pete Rose and how he planned to pardon him ahead of the 2025 baseball season.  Pete Rose died in the fall of 2024, just ahead of the Trump election, ending a long battle with Major League Baseball, who had banned him for life for breaking a few laws the commissioners thought were important.  Rose had been caught betting on baseball games and had some tax problems with the IRS. The combination of those things effectively pushed out of the game the most popular player, and certainly one of the best, the hit king, out of the MLB and out of the Hall of Fame.  But the problem is, if Rose wasn’t in the Hall of Fame, then who should be?  Over the last forty years, it has been argued that banning Rose from the Hall of Fame of baseball cheapened it for everyone because if the best players weren’t there, why even have it?  Of course, there is more to the story, which is why Trump is getting involved.

Pete Rose isn’t the only sports figure to have something like this happen to them.  One of my favorite all time coaches for the NFL was Jon Gruden, who was kicked out of the NFL because some leaked emails about him talking disparagingly about the commissioner and other people got out to the public and with the new woke rules that administrative minded people everywhere thought would protect them from critical analysis, the NFL and my favorite football team, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers took Gruden down off the Ring of Honor at Raymond James Stadium and the world was looking pretty grim.  Only this past week, at the start of March 2025, did the Buccaneers start to rethink things and put Gruden’s name back up.  I personally like the Glazers; they run a good football organization.  You can find head coaches and position coaches all over the NFL who got their start in Tampa Bay because they have a winning culture.  But they have been anti-Trump and pro-Joe Biden much like the Murdoch family at Fox News has been, and they thought they understood where the world was going when they jumped all over the commissioner’s desires to remove Gruden from the NFL as punishment for violating unsaid woke rules limiting free speech dramatically.  The same traits that made Jon Gruden a great coach, full of risk-taking and passion, were also the same kind of thing that was harming him off the football field among polite society where the incompetent were protected from critical judgments by unsaid rules of conduct that protected Roger Goodell from opposing opinions.  Gruden had called the commissioner a homosexual reference, and Goodell didn’t like it, so he used woke rules to punish the Superbowl-winning coach, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers followed like cowardly sheep, licking the boots of a corrupt shepherd. 

This is nearly identical to what happened to Pete Rose, the hit king of MLB Baseball.  It takes a unique mindset to be a great player like Rose, to take the kind of risks he did to stand in front of a crowd and hit a ball the pitcher is trying to keep you from making contact with.  Or stealing a base under pressure to score a run and diving into third base headfirst, as Pete Rose did, often obtaining the nickname, Charlie Hustle.  Pete Rose was rewarded for his risk-taking antics in sports, which is how people with such personalities are usually rewarded.  Fans love people like that in sports. It’s one of the best parts of cheering on a sports franchise because most audience members don’t have the guts to take big risks like we see in sports themselves.  So they enjoy watching sports heroes do it.  In the MLB, Pete Rose was getting old and was a manager of several teams, and he was fading, and it was hard for him not to be a player all the time.  So he transferred that energy into gambling, and he bet on himself when he did place bets.  It was a way for him to keep his player instincts alive and be an aggressive manager of his teams.  But that set up a revenge tour for the jealous administrators who had been watching Rose for years and looking for an opportunity to knock him down to size once his name was no longer filling the stands with fans.  So they used an early version of the woke rules to destroy Rose and throw away the key as a message to other players about who the King of Baseball was.

It was a mystery to many why commissioners like Bart Giamatti, Fay Vincent, Bud Selig, and Rob Manfred were so against Pete Rose when other players did far worse over their careers.  It all comes down to capitalism essentially and the goals of an administrative state to use Marxism to limit competitive enterprise.  Pete Rose had all the hot women, fame, and fortune and was celebrated wherever he went.  And administrators like the old and crusty Bart Giamatti could write and enforce rules to show that he has power over such characters which to his mind might bleed off some of that power and influence and get people to lick his boots the way many in a position like his hope for.  They hate people like Pete Rose and Jon Gruden, and I would even put Warren Sapp in there for good measure because of their risk-taking attitudes, which administrators like those mentioned commissioners don’t have.  How do you get the hot chicks to like you if you are afraid of risk?  Show them you have power over the people they like more, so that they’ll like you.  Administrative types adhere to rules to hide their timid natures and their lack of personal courage from the world.  So, they used the rules to destroy Pete Rose because they were jealous of him.  That is one prominent example of why regulations made by an administrative state have been, and are, so dangerous to society, even if we are talking about sports.  That same attitude could be said to be holding back significant industries in America right now, and Trump sees it from the front of the train.  And one way to break that spell is to reward Rose, even if he isn’t around anymore to see it.  Because the world sees it, we want to reward our risk takers in American society.  Even if it is just a baseball game, or stealing a base for just one game of the season that took a lot of guts and pain to attempt, risk takers are the key to Making America Great Again and taking away the power of the administrative state that might regulate them out of existence is a key part to our future success.  And now that times are changing, because we have another big risk taker in the White House that understands these things, worthless administrators who are timid of personal risk are losing power, and people who are good at risk, even addicted to it, are regaining respect.  This is the key to the future of our nation and a great sign of many good things to come.
