The ACLU advertises itself as being an organization that fights for the rights of the people and protects free speech. But the true nature of the ACLU agenda has roots that run deep into the gardens of society. And those gardens as they exist now are full of weeds pushed up by the ACLU.
A representative of the ACLU, an earnest man from the Ohio chapter, not too long ago spoke at a Tea Party event in southern Ohio, for the Liberty Township group, a satellite of the Cincinnati Tea Party. In his talk he was questioned about why the ACLU was suing Arizona for its new immigration law. The man then danced vigorously on the stage, even though there wasn’t any music.
He was of course not literally dancing, but was dancing with words which infuriated the Tea Party group, because it had become obvious he couldn’t give a straight answer. The audience wondered why a group named, the American Civil Liberties Union, didn’t represent the Americans terrorized by illegal immigrants and border violence, but chose to take a position in favor of people who weren’t even American citizens.
The credibility of the ACLU will always be in question. This is a group that gives legitimacy to groups like NAMBLA, the North American Man/Boy Love Association, but is shy to take up positions which favor the Second Amendment, hiding behind the Supreme Court case of United States v. Miller in 1939. In that case, the right to own a gun transported across state lines was attacked because it wasn’t a gun that could be used in a militia and the gun fell under commerce because it was transported from Oklahoma to Arkansas. Such legal dancing is routine, and is the embodiment of how our current case-law has drifted far from the original constitutional intentions. If the ACLU put the same energy into defending Second Amendment rights, or 10th Amendment rights instead of groups like NAMBLA, we might have a much different country that more accurately represents what the founders envisioned.
But the ACLU has chosen to walk down the road that has had more influence on our constitution than most any organization, and they’ve done it by forming case-law around issues like homosexual rights in the military, or the right of a man to lust after a young boy. As a group of only 500,000 members it generates over $85 million in revenue. This makes it a cleverly disguised lobby group for some of the more radical members of our society that have indirectly attacked the principles of our constitution. And this lobby group is attacking elements of our country like cancer cells do to the human body.
The ACLU has been routinely affiliated with communists. In 1940, they formally banned communists from the organization, even though the founder, Roger Baldwin was a former supporter of communism, in order to give an appearance of neutrality in legal cases. Bernadine Dohrn, leader of the Weather Underground and wife of Bill Ayers was a legal researcher in 1990 and 1991. She is one that took a stand of support for the violence of Charlie Manson during the Helter Skelter issue. With such people in the ACLU, is it any surprise that the ACLU opposes capital punishment because of its ultimate denial of civil liberties? Charles Manson’s trial expenditure came to over $770,000 and his cost of imprisonment has cost tax payers more than $644,000. In such a clear-cut case, such as the Manson issue, why has he been allowed to burden our tax system, along with thousands like him? The ACLU is proud that it takes on any client without judgment. But what the ACLU leaves in its wake is a path of destructive case law that cripples our legal system.
Was it such a great victory for free speech to have the Ten Commandments removed from the courthouses of Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama and Kentucky, when so much of our country was founded on principles of divine trust and guidance? The ACLU successfully attacked The Ten Commandments, but is silent on the violation of the 10th Amendment over the Health Care Bill. Our Constitution is a uniquely profound document. It has produced the greatest country on the face of the earth in known history. However, it allows groups like the ACLU to exist because of the Constitution, even if the intent of the ACLU is to subtly attack the founding document and reshape it into something more akin to The Communist Manifesto.
Beware of those white knights that proclaim to help, such as how the ACLU portrays itself. They may actually use the guise of goodness as a way to get behind our defenses and destroy everything from within. And the well-intentioned speaker from the Ohio Chapter, bright-eyed and believing that he is the champion for the weak, and defender of the Constitution…..that is why we have the Second Amendment. We don’t need the ACLU. It’s time to tend to our garden and start pulling the weeds, so the flowers can bloom. And it’s time to spread some mulch so the weeds can be choked off from the sunlight, and stop growing. Once all the weeds are gone, and we can see our garden again, we’ll be surprised at how robust that garden flourishes.
In the garden of America it is groups like the ACLU, NAMBLA, Teacher’s unions, lawyers in general, multi-term politicians and presidents who want to be remembered as kings who are our weeds, and it’s time now to remove them from our landscape.
This is what people are saying about my new book–Tail of the Dragon
Gary Cates! What are you talking about? I find it hard to believe that Gary said what he said in the below article at Channel 5’s website. Gary for a long time has stood against the outrageous spending tendencies in public education, especially at Lakota, and in the article he actually encouraged the school board to show leadership to the community so they could pass a levy like Fairfield and Lebanon last year.
Well, here’s the news flash—Fairfield’s levy barely passed and Lebanon’s was the second attempt in 6 months, and it barely passed. Both of those districts Gary mentioned have huge populations of apartment dwellers who tend to vote for school levies because they don’t directly have to pay for the tax increases, but they do get to go to the nice schools the taxes pay for.
The article itself is well done by the AP and shows how Lakota is in the same boat as the rest of Ohio. Education costs are simply too expensive, and the employees of education expect too much compensation for too many employees. They need to completely rethink their business model. But throwing more money into the black hole of public education is not the answer.
Gary…….I’m sure your comments were taken out of context—surely? Don’t let the sirens of doom whisper in your ear guiding you onto the jagged rocks of destruction. Cast aside those filthy beasts and don’t let them seduce you into inaction. That’s how things became so screwed up to begin with, as those who came before you caved into the temptation to make peace with the antagonists while they made off with the loot leaving people like you holding the bill.
Keep your hands on the wheel and watch the rocks. We are moving through dangerous waters. Don’t listen to the sirens and their songs of death.
World War III began on September 11th 2001 with the aggressive act of Muslim extremists provoked by many forces who desire to rule the world. Similar as to how Japan followed the aggressive tendency of Germany and Italy toward world domination–to be sorted out later, it is Russia, China, and the Muslim Caliphate who is seeking to do the same in our modern age.
I think I may have been one of the few people a year ago to state clearly my thoughts that the KGB had infiltrated our school systems, our government, and our media at all levels to bring about a slow erosion of the greatness that is America—not with weapons of war, but weapons of complacency. When I made those statements back in June of 2011 in a serious editorial, and much earlier with pure speculation, my thoughts about how aggressive American enemies were in destroying our way of life seemed more appropriate for science fiction than journalistic credibility, but as I watched a recent video by The John Birch Society about the rise to power of RT TV—otherwise known as Russia Today News, my doubts about Russia and the other American aggressors have been erased.
Through our schools, we have been taught to reject all value. They have placed every American into a straightjacket of doubt. They’ve taken away our war games on the playground by demonizing the gun. They’ve instead provided the distraction of sex to satisfy our aggressive whims. They have taken away our God, so to replace it with their own version. The Muslims have made it clear they will tolerate no criticism of their belief system and expect the world to bow at their feet or be destroyed.
This is a real problem. Speaking with people who tend to be radical Muslims is frustrating, since they chose to be second-handlers to rationality. They have allowed someone from a distant time and place to dictate their beliefs. It’s the same frustrating argument I’ve had with radical Christians who declare that there were never dinosaurs because they aren’t in the Bible. It’s the same argument I’ve had with Mormons who swear that Joseph Smith found the golden plates that founded that religion in his back yard. Or it’s the same argument that I’ve had with Buddhists who believe literally that Siddhartha Gautama fought off three temptations under the famous bodhi tree. All these forms of religion are a form of evasion which take the responsibility of discovery away from the second-handler who wishes for their thoughts to be given to their minds, not earned through observation and reason. Religion certainly has its place in helping a person understand the mysteries of their eventual fates, but the powerful dictators of the world have always used religion to club their subjects over the head into carrying out their tyrannical desires. Religion and its beliefs have been the cause of many wars, including World War lll.
It was only in 622 A.D that the prophet Muhammad performed the Hejira traveling from Mecca to Medina marking the start of the Muslim era. Ironically this is also the start of what is known as The Dark Ages, where religion attempted to suppress any knowledge of anything that didn’t fit their world view. Much like the modern radical Christian will reject science because knowledge threatens their belief system–such as rejecting that dinosaurs walked the planet, many religious fanatics in The Dark Ages believed that by denying science they could carry on the illusion of their evasion. Religious leaders encouraged this behavior because it created classes of second-handlers who were all too happy to allow a religious leader to think for them, and instruct them how to behave.
I’ve worked with several devout Muslims over the years and watched them do their prayer toward Mecca at certain times of the day and I’d ask them why the hell they were always on the ground praying. They would tell me that they’d hope that Allah would notice their obedience and that they’d follow the example of Muhammad, and that if I wished eternal life, I’d pray with them.
They would give me the look of fear when I declared to them that I don’t give my obedience to anyone—living or dead, of the flesh or of spiritual form.
“Americans, you don’t understand,” they’d tell me. I’d then remind them that they were technically “American” and that the reason there was separation of church and state in The United States was so that people could pray on the ground if they wanted to—or not. It didn’t have any bearing on the quality of an American whether or not they are Muslim, Christian, Mormon or anything else, because religion is not what makes an American. It’s the value that a person has that makes them American. Religion is just a reflection of value—it doesn’t “provide” value.
What is typical of most dictators is that they use “religion” or an idea that can unite a belief system into a limited frame of thinking and this is what is being done with the Muslim radicals and how those extremists were pushed into running airplanes into the World Trade Center—the symbol of the American economy. It is that act which caused America to destroy our Constitutional principals in pursuit of safety and spend ourselves into debt while the enemies of The United States licked their lips in delight as a hungry wolf eyes its prey.
China has worked with Russia before, so they are happy to continue their role of using their upcoming superpower status to buy up property all over the world particularly in the Caribbean, at the front door of the United States. Of course all these transactions are with smiles and handshakes, much in the way that Russia Today is catering to Ron Paul supporters to “earn” their trust, while actually planning sinister military maneuvers in the future. America can do nothing about these land purchases, because China holds such a large portion of The United States debt. Go ahead, read about it for yourself at the link below.
Americans have been trained to be second-handles, to be passive, to embrace peace, to turn the other cheek and allow our enemies to steam roll right over us. We’ve been trained by the enemy themselves, under the false flag of “peace” through the music of the Beatles, and the British Invasion, through the hippies, the racists, the feminists, the Neo Nazi’s, the religious fanatics, and the “academics,” to turn away and pass no judgment. “Judge not least ye be judged.” “Do not throw stones in glass houses.” “Turn the other cheek,” this is what we are told to do as radicals took our Ten Commandments down off the wall of our courthouses, and as Muslims showed their desire to build a Mosque on a “conquered territory,” (The World Trade Center Site) We turned away from our aggressors and turned on the television and watched Americas Got Talent. Our youth do not have the heart for war, and our enemies know it. American youth are more concerned about legalizing drugs and whether or not they can marry their same-sex lover, rather than thinking about Russia stealing away the American Constitution with subversion. Yes, many former KGB agents are sipping vodka and congratulating themselves on a job well done.
Yes dear reader—it has already happened and the enemies of America wish to cast the world into another period of The Dark Ages run under a communist flag. There is no question any longer, the intentions are right out in the open. The enemy has used the classic strategy from Sun Tzu’s The Art of War—they have prevailed over those who have already lost. America has already lost because it does not see a need to fight. The will to fight has been breed out of our young like a puppy neutered at birth, and they did it by infecting our minds with passivism. They did it by earning our trust then slitting our throats when we least expected it—metaphorically speaking. Just like those Muslim extremists watched closely by the FBI in Florida failed to act against the suspicious terrorists, because they were too passive, made that way by a radical religion who lashes out at anyone who questions their intentions. This is how airplanes were hijacked and lives were lost, and America attempted to spend money to solve the security breech when the real villain was our lack of ability to determine right from wrong in the first place. America hopes that the Department of Homeland Security and the TSA can do what we’ve all forgotten to do, and that is call a villain a villain. Americans have become evasive second-handlers because in just two generations, we allowed the enemy to destroy our minds, and our will to protect ourselves.
Manipulation of this magnitude is certainly within the realm of the KGB and even our own CIA. And the ramifications have already happened. The war has already started. Your town is already occupied. Your school, your government buildings, your White House no longer listens to the wishes of the voting public, but to those who hold their purse strings, and that money is no longer home grown in America. The new atomic bomb is not nuclear and destructive in its capacity. It’s economic and is aimed at devaluation of the dollar and crushing the standard of living for every American so that their will is broken, and that they will easily eat out of the hand of Putin, or The Muslim Brotherhood.
Yes, World War lll is already over a decade old. We just didn’t know the war started because we had our massive military ready to fight, we had our planes on the launch pad, and we had our missiles pointed where we thought the threat was. But the attack did not come from weapons, but from the destruction of the idea of what being an American is. And for that, no weapons are needed, just a corruption of our ideas, and a manipulation by the spies of the world who work on behalf of their governments—our enemies of war. Our enemies knew they could not beat us head to head in a military fight, so they used the oldest trick in the book taken from the pages of Troy—they used the Trojan Horse. But this time there isn’t just one enemy who has penetrated our ideological walls to get the enemy behind our lines, but many. And one of them is certainly Russia Today.
Before we get into the next Glenn Beck episode of The Oval seen at the end of this article, I’d like to show you a clip from my friend Matt Clark’s recent broadcast on his Clarkcast radio show heard on WAAM in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Matt has some wonderful audio that articulates magnificently the current condition of our youth and direction of our nation. Check it out:
As I’ve stated on many occasions collectivism is a disease of the human mind. Like the advocates of destruction so wonderfully stated in the broadcast from Matt, collectivists are philosophic terrorists intentionally provoking the collapse of all growth and human achievement. If left to their own devices, they intend to make all listeners to their diatribes flock like barn-yard animals to the seduction of their collectivism. They are philosophic terrorists because it is philosophy that builds everything that the human mind values. Without a positive philosophy that feeds the mind, the mind falls apart like water out of a container, and just becomes a mess of unorganized water molecules.
The collective terrorists of philosophy will declare that all water molecules are void of any individualism, and that the true state of their being is no different from a drop of ocean water. Collectivists have adopted this thinking from the philosophy of Buddhism and teachings of Confucius, the later who taught that one should never desire to leave their social station in life and climb for power. The teachings of collectivism began in Napal, and China and moved eastward and westward clashing with the individualism of the Occident over the borders of India, and Russia.
It was the hippie movement injected into American culture from KGB agents who sought out nirvana as the highest state of human achievement and this came directly from the philosophies of the East, the land where humble modesty has always been in vogue.
The destructive terrorism occurs when one attempts to combine the philosophy of eastern collectivism with the individualism of western philosophy that is primarily about the individual experience. When the two are mixed together you get the self-destructive, environmental warrior—hippie type. Those are the dangerous collectivists who believe they can do anything they want whenever they want to and that the cost for the behavior will be picked up by the collective society. That is the sickness of the people in Matt’s video. They are a danger to themselves and to the world around them, and they are breeding physically and spiritually.
Their message is seductive to the weak-minded, because there are no consequences for decisions made. The message of the philosophic terrorists is also seductive to those who lack courage, since they are encouraged to ride on the back of the strong and productive making them parasites to the good. This is why the philosophic terrorists are considered the worst kind of evil—because they cannot function on their own—they require the effort of others to function. And when the responsibility for their actions does fall on their shoulders once there are no longer enough of the strong backs to carry the collectivists any longer, they advocate a complete wiping away of the responsibility slate. They profess that someone else must pay for their actions.
This group of philosophic terrorists has grown so large that they now have their own President in the United States White House—in what some might call the first representative of The Weather Underground to occupy the Oval Office in order to execute further destruction of the philosophy of hard work and innovation that made America so great. The philosophic terrorists of collectivism have sought to put an end to America so that their collectivist vision of discombobulated eastern philosophic understanding can become a reality reflecting the fantasy of their minds. Yet it can’t, because reality desires what’s good for the progress of life, and life will seek out the good and reject the bad in every instance.
This is why Glenn Beck sadly has to build his own version of The Oval Office and sit in it to address the American people in the fashion that would normally be reserved for the President of the United States. To American peril the current president was built by the kind of people who Matt Clark featured, and seems determined to carry out the philosophic terrorist policies of a collectivist society—that is fundamentally anti-American. So Glenn presented his recent Oval Office speech with the theme of teaching Americans to take command of their own paths in life, to instruct the government to get out of their lives and not accept the help of the collectivists in government. Every American needs to take command of their own lives and respect themselves first, then in so doing, learning to respect others by acknowledging the value of existence.
The message of the philosophic terrorists behind collectivism is in undoing value. This is why they fail in relationships because they do not value themselves, let alone value others. This is why they fail in economics because they have no understanding of value since they believe that all obligations can simply be erased. This is why their societies fail, because they do not see the values of—values. They believe the world can be a mixed up conglomeration of multiple beliefs with no emphasis on good or bad, and that simply isn’t true and doesn’t even come close to working in reality.
The sad state of our current country can be blamed on the philosophic terrorists who advocate valueless collectivism irresponsibility stated for many years with the identical message covered by Matt Clark. Those types are everywhere in our public education system, they are in our media, they are writing the songs of our culture and making the films and television shows that we enjoy, they have been built within America by the architects of destruction to undermine everything that is good about America, and that must stop immediately, otherwise the last great place on planet earth that stands for freedom and the greatness of human achievement will be gone forever. This is why Glenn Beck is addressing his second episode of The Oval on the topic of taking personal command of American individual lives. Watch and listen carefully then pass on to a friend.
The “Lash of Extremism,” I like the sound of that. Such is the title of a recent article by Steve Morrison of the Dayton Progressive Examiner commenting on my various controversies of late. Morrison is of course referring to my work as a bullwhip artist and performer—which to me is an American form of martial art. But for the progressive community they have to find something to attempt to turn the public against me so they resort to the same old tactics they have used for years—they call people names. You can see Morrison’s article at the link below.
Since the attempt of Morrison’s article is to paint me as a backwater, “cowboy type” that has no interest in an “advanced society” I have included pictures from my booth at the Indie Gathering Film Festival that is put on by a couple of my friends from the World Stunt Association of which I’m a member. My philosophic intentions are quite the opposite from how the progressive community believes. It is my premise that the intellectual elite who have formed the thoughts and feelings of progressive politics currently are incorrect, and therefore everything they support must be examined. I arrived at these conclusions by interacting with many kinds of people and enjoying contact with multiple professions over many years. My work with bullwhips as an art form has given me insight that many progressives are lacking in their education experiences and deserves examination in light of the progressive critique of my lifestyle.
Now my controversy was initiated when I called a group of school levy supporters at Lakota “latte sipping prostitutes” that was actually toned down language from what I wanted to call them. I was seeking to provide an explanation for their lack of value in money. But the mudslinging had been initiated by the pro levy crowd already and after two years of seeing first hand attempts at coercion, vandalism, and boycotts against voters who voted against the proposed school levies, I came to a point where I had enough of the crap.
Like any good strategy, it is good to provoke your opponent to see how they behave and—how their network works. To be honest, until this latest incident I had never heard of this Dayton Progressive Examiner or the writer. But like many who showed their asses that day of March 15th, much was learned by me of who, what, why, when, and where. I ran across Morrison’s article from a reader here who wanted to make me aware of it, and I’m glad they did.
Morrison in his article exhibits many of the primary traits that make progressive political involvement in public education so detrimental, and necessitates a fumigation process by the tax payers to remove them from educating our youth. If left unchallenged these types of progressive collectivists seek a destruction of everything people like me who value traditional American Excepetionalism cherish. Morrison in his article tries the same tactic that David Little attempted a year and a half ago—the standard progressive approach, poke fun at my use of bullwhips. In the following clip it shows a bit more of the film festival mentioned in a broader context and the “networking” room from the pictures above. Ironically, many of the creative types at these film festivals are progressively minded, and I get along with them because we all share a love of art, stunts, and story telling. We usually center our discussions on what we have in common, not what we disagree with. Where these filmmakers differ from other progressive minded people is they behave “independently.” They fund their own projects and take control of their endeavors from womb to tomb, and this is a critical difference between the “creative progressive” and the “collective progressive” which many government employees resemble most.
In the minds of collectivists, they only see value in people who work in other collectivist occupations, such as teachers, firemen, police, IRS agents and other government work, because it fits their mentality—group collectivity. My use of a bullwhip and commitment to traditional American arts is a threat to their value system, so they seek to belittle it hoping the masses will apply pressure against me to change my behavior. However—what they don’t know or understand is that it’s the individual that has all the power, and art forms that embrace that individuality is universally loved. I’ve performed whip tricks in front of thousands of people over the years in all kinds of formats and in a live performance, everyone enjoys the show. It’s a talent that has been very good to me. In the clip below, I’m the one with the fire whip.
The troubling aspect to Morrison’s article is that he called me “the preeminent anti-levy bully” and that I “live by the bumper sticker, ‘if you think education is expensive, try ignorance.’” He goes on to say that nobody likes taxes, but everyone should support without question the touchy, feely leanings of the progressive legislator. He states that taxes are a necessary evil because the alternative is “to write a check before traversing on any road, calling on any first-responder or sending your child to any school.”
Well, the verdict is in, and public education is not making children intelligent. In fact, I’d say the evidence is very clear that it is public education that is responsible for much ignorance in the world, especially in America, and it is bleeding heart progressives who have propagated that ignorance. Because you have to be pretty ignorant to believe what these people tell you. Roads are paid with gas taxes. First responders should be voluntary, and no labor union should be involved in those community positions. Many of them are playing Call of Duty at the firehouse as I write this all dressed up and nowhere to go until someone has an accident. And the schools should be paid for by the parents. It should not be a state or federal responsibility. It is not my responsibility to provide an education to anyone’s child. It’s the obligation of the child’s parents. And if public education did not have a monopoly on the industry, the costs would come down, and politicians would actually think about dealing with the funding problem in Ohio and pay for education with the taxes already sent to the state.
All those programs that Morrison listed above are progressive, utopian fantasies. I don’t want free education for every American, because kids don’t value it if it’s free. And teacher unions take advantage of the monopoly, because everyone has to go to school by federal mandate and tax payers are obligated to pay for children they may not even care about or desire to help. Progressives have created a world where the spongy minded can ride on the backs of those who produce value, and that is not a correct system. The only people who benefit from such a system are progressive minded people like Morrison.
They call me the Preeminent Anti-Levy Bully because I have interrupted their fantasy of utopia, this world they’ve built through extortion. Well, it takes one to know one, and in this situation when a progressive calls me a bully, I take it as a compliment—because that is the pot calling the kettle black. It is their bully tactics–not by using muscle–but peer pressure that has caused many of the problems we are dealing with in every aspect of society today. It is because of them that there are bully problems in school, because the kid’s watch how the adults and teachers behave in politics–how can a teacher STRIKEwith their union and then tell a child not to bully another child? They can’t! Progressives at every level of politics engage in bully behavior and they are not used to anybody standing up to them—or calling them “latte sipping prostitutes.” They wish to believe they are more valuable to society and to their families than they really are, because like their politics inherited from Immanuel Kant and modified by Karl Marx, they are two people inside one mind. They are people of the living world, and they are people of some other fictional world that exists outside their understanding which they surrender logic to. The reason for their failure is embodied Kant’s term “there are two worlds: the world of experience sensed by our bodies and the world as it is in itself.” Progressives surrender their logic to this second world and believe through their collective vision that they are guided by faith made profitable by sacrifice. And the sacrificial victims are always individuals—which is the heartbeat of American Excepetionalism.
This is why a progressive can never answer a question, because their entire political belief is based on faith in a collective world and is not based on fact. Anyone who makes them look at the “world of experience” is a bully to them, because they don’t wish to see it.
So I proudly carry the term bully if that’s how they see me. It means they are getting the message. Of course my actions to their minds are extreme because I reject the premise of their entire existence—and why shouldn’t I? They require sacrifices from me while I require nothing of them. They require me to need their roads, their education, their fire department, their utopia! They need me to desire the protective blanket of their collective society, but I don’t want it! I reject it! And when I do, they call me names. And when I get mad and call them names back—or worse, they feel entitled to pull on all the resources of their progressive society to “bully” me into compliance to their wishes. That’s what they did on March 15th of which Steve Morrison played his part. He had his article written almost as fast as the Cincinnati Enquirer posted it, almost by the hour. They wanted my compliance at any cost. That is their message. And for saying such a thing, they call me the extremist—they call me the bully.

Every human being has a choice as to whether or not they elect to partake in a service or not. So a boycott on a personal level is a perfectly understandable thing. The trouble begins when collective minded beings with their warped sense of values decide to bring economic hardship to an organization so to coerce that organization into behaving “properly.” And the proper behavior is determined by the “group” advocating the boycott. In the case of the person sending the letter to the restaurant they act under the assumption that the children of the school district are “state property” and that all children who attend the school are to be protected by their version of reality—in this case—property of the school and their fight to keep the school funded at the level they decide. There are many flaws in this thinking. The first of which is that children are not “property” of the state, or school. Children and their families are sovereign individuals and are not compelled into action by any government organization—especially a school. This argument is made well by this video by the Ayn Rand Institute.
Anyone who mutters the word “boycott” in an attempt to control massive group behavior is a villain to society. It does not matter if they are your friends, your neighbors or your babysitter, they are still villains. If a person advocates a boycott they are attempting a military maneuver against an entity, and that is considered an act of war by any definition. The person who advocated a boycott of the restaurant above was committing an evil act of aggression. The people involved in the radio station situation at the link above committed evil against the station. Anytime a group gathers in force to attempt economic pain to an individual or an organization they are practicing extortion against the personal sovereignty of the attacked.
The boycott advocate believes that they are “right” in a matter and that their action against someone who disagrees with them is to bring pain so that the behavior will change. That is extortion. It is an act of aggression. But how can anyone know that the boycott advocate I right? If they were right, then wouldn’t others arrive at their same conclusions naturally?
The boycotter is often wrong in their thinking, so they must rely on economic extortion in order to get dissidents to participate in their erroneous thinking. The boycotter is attempting to take the rational conclusions of the dissident and alter them into a collective buy-off done by arm twisting and peer pressure applied by group behavior. This is not done out of respect for the thoughts of the target. It is done to force the target to comply to the thoughts of the attacker.
To refer back to the restaurant, the owner did not support a tax increase by the school. So the intent of the letter was to force corporate ownership to apply pressure on the local owner to alter the owner’s opinion through economic terrorism. It didn’t matter if the owner did not agree with the tax increase. All that mattered was that the owner becomes convinced through pressure to change their mind. This is the essence behind the boycott.
In this same community the voters have voted down tax increases 3 times in a two-year period. The community spoke. However, levy advocates do not care that 18,000 voters said no and only 16,000 said yes. The boycotter seeks to change the numbers by attacking 2000 of those voters to and gain leverage on them be it emotional, economic, or perhaps even physical so the next time the vote comes around then they will win the vote by forcing at least 2000 more to voters their way through fear alone.
If a group feels that it must apply extortive pressure through the use of a boycott, it’s a good sign that the content of their idea is a bad one. In the case of the tax levy of my community, if a majority thought it was the right thing to do, they would have voted in favor. In effect the voters who voted the tax increase down had a boycott of their own, and refused to give money to an organization that did not match the values of the community. However, these boycott advocates do not respect those opinions. They believe incorrectly that the children they are “fighting” for are members of the state. They believe that once a child is born from its mother that the child becomes “community property.” (They believe this as a result of their actions even if they don’t say it with their mouths) So the boycott advocates decide to take up a holy crusade on behalf of the children to fill the emptiness of their thoughts which is why they are evil. They are functioning from a faulty political position made so by the weakness of their argument and failure at the ballot box, and resort to boycotts to change minds with the next vote.
A good person is that way because they have thoughts and actions unique to their personal sovereignty. They become bad if they assimilate with a group pack mentality that is wrong, and if they compromise their personal feelings to join with a group in mass. The boycotter is attempting to make a wrong idea right through massive group participation. They believe that if enough people believe something, then suddenly the wrong idea will become fashionable and therefore good.
Many crimes against humanity have been done in this fashion. Religions do it to each other, businesses do it to each other, and politicians do it to each other. Just because it is widely practiced does not make it good or right. It simply means that there are a lot of people functioning from psychotic behavior. It is their broken, distorted versions of reality that are at fault, and they cannot be allowed to inflict their incoherent visions upon the sane just because they can organize a boycott.
Boycotts are conceived by the psychotic schizophrenic who is functioning by many different impulses, just because they look sane from a distance and dress like everyone else it does not make them correct. The psychotic in an attempt to avoid their illness, their broken understanding of reality—in the example above, that all children are members of the state—will attempt group consensus to camouflage their foolishness. They will seek to pull the whole world down upon their heads to protect their faulty ideas from being discovered in the light of day. They will stop at nothing to work the world into their reality instead of the reality of reasonable thinking human beings driving their actions.
This is why such people are dangerous. This is why they are evil. The boycotter seeks to impose their beliefs upon the world around them and they have no respect or sympathy for those who differ from them. If they cannot convince the world of the merit of their ideas though facts, conversation, or emotional pleas, then they resort to extortion—the boycott—if agreement cannot be reached as they see it. They fully intend to bring pain to those who disagree with them. That is the message behind the boycott. And that is the type of personality behind the boycotter, a broken human being who wishes to make the world into their image. A refuge of the small little insanities contained within their distorted principles is reflected in the desire for a boycott. The heart of their folly is the belief that they can make something wrong, correct if enough people are “convinced” to think their way—that if a group can be manipulated into believing something they individually do not, then wrong ideas will be made valid just by the sheer number of opinions cast in their direction. And such an idea could only be conceived by those with distorted perceptions of reality functioning from a derelict philosophic position. This is why my quick term for them is latte sipping prostitutes because there really isn’t much difference if you sit them down in a chair and get them talking. The rationale tends to be similar once the onion is peeled away to reveal the mess that is inside their heads. And to hide that mess not just from the world, but from themselves, they often resort to boycotts.
Oh–you want more proof? You think I’m kidding you? You think all this is a conspiracy, because the knowledge is not convenient? Then read what’s at the link below and you’ll see how it was all set up in 1958 to create the world we are finding ourselves dealing with today. I’ve made it easy for you. All you have to do is look for yourself.
A friend of mine just opened a new restaurant in Orlando, Florida. Every time I hear about one of these success stories, where an entrepreneur is able to leap all the hurdles placed in front of such an endeavor to open a new establishment I find myself enjoying the announcements more than I should. To me, these types of things should be common place in America. Ideas should be allowed to flourish, and actually encouraged. But the way things are it’s a minor miracle when something like a new restaurant opens because there are so many regulations and looters involved in the process of innovation. By the time all the regulations are satisfied, the permit issues are written, the taxes are paid in addition to all the requirements involved in funding the enterprise; it is only the strongest projects with the most money behind them that survive.
The reason is that America has allowed socialism to permeate every single government position in our country so the amount of government employees that are involved in any entrepreneurial activity directly impacts the chance that a project will survive to actually open. The situation is so bad that John Stossel of the Fox Business Network and Glenn Beck discuss John’s attempt to open a lemonade stand in downtown New York. Watch this video so you can see how difficult it is to even start a business, let alone defend yourself from all the looters who attempt to rob you with law suits and excessive taxes once the business is established.
This is why I get so infuriated by government organizations, primarily schools that push for tax increases. Every business you see is a minor phenomenon. The fact that you see many businesses in your neighborhoods is evidence of 5 to 6 failures for every success. So when a new restaurant is seen opening in your neighborhood or a shopping complex, you are seeing the lucky ones who made it. If an entrepreneur is politically active and gives money to a lot of charities, they find that their chances of success increase dramatically, because paying off officials with political support and getting the crazy emotional mothers of a community appeased with charity work calls off the looting dogs as long as the money flows, but it takes money to pay off such fools. So only the luckiest of the lucky gain the ability to use their money to pay off the trolls who set up shop in our political system.
It is not the “permit” department at your local government office who creates jobs and new ideas. It’s not the regulator of any agency. It’s not the bureaucrat in any capacity who does anything, but creates a barrier for the dreamers, for the entrepreneur. These barriers push up the cost of playing the game so that only those who have been lucky enough to squeeze through the cracks before the looters realize that there is money to be made, make it, because that’s the only way one can achieve success these days. The business needs to either be established or have large financial reserves to combat the looters in court and in politics, or the business must fly under the radar of convention and arrive before the looters realize that the new business is going to be profitable.
I know this tragedy first hand. I’ve been involved in many business start-ups and all of them were made unnecessarily hard by excessive regulation. I once had a building code permit issuer tell me I had to prove to him that the HAVAC unit he was demanding I buy was not required under the Cincinnati Building Code. I spent an entire weekend reading a boring book to prove that the HAVAC unit was not necessary for my change of use submission. In a book of over 750 pages I found one sentence that disqualified my project from the imposition. Once I found it, the administrator gave me a rubber stamp with a smile on his face, as though it was an office joke whether or not I’d find the one sentence out of the thousands that would exclude me. It was literally like finding a needle in a hay stack.
But that wasn’t the end of the road. That was just one issue out of 32 similar complaints by the CBC office, and that was just one organization that had their teeth into my project. There were as many as 7 such agencies that my project had to comply with just to open and my choice was to do the work myself, or hire out a small army of lawyers, engineers, architects and other professionals to do the work of arguing each item for me. By the time all those employees are hired just to meet the cost of compliance the project budget increased by nearly a half a million dollars.
So these days I just write books, and study philosophy. I hire out my expertise because it’s unattractive to argue with all the fools in any endeavor that catapults the idea generators into the quick sand of the social looters. I determined a long time ago that since I refused to play the pay-off game because I find it ethically questionable, and too expensive on the front end, that I have no chance of getting anything off the ground in this modern environment. But I have friends who aren’t so restricted by such limits and they have managed to do the nearly impossible and open new shopping complexes, and restaurants. And for that I admire them.
That is why I get very angry when I hear people proclaim that my friends, are “rich” and they owe their school system more, or they “owe” the township more in taxes, or they “owe” Barry Obama more! They owe their state government more when it is proven that there are too many government workers to pay whose only purpose is to create more bureaucracy, which in turn drives up the cost of compliance as shown above. Anyone who says or thinks such things are correct thinking are fools—and socialist sympathizers. They are parasites to everything America has stood for and are destroyers of its future.
So I do salute with utmost respect my friend and the opening of his new restaurant. The small-minded and looter mentality will look jealousy at him and proclaim that he should do more for his community. They will say that he is wealthy, and if he has enough money to buy a restaurant then he has enough money to pay more in taxes. What those same fools don’t comprehend is that it will take years to return to my friend the money he invested, not just in opening the building, but the cost of fighting the looters along the way. And they don’t know that my friend has plans that will fuel his own retirement in the future and that these restaurants are part of that plan. He has no plans to draw a government pension or a check of any kind. He plans to take care of his own business the way every American should. And every time there is a new cost to him, a new looter who attempts to rob some of his money from him because they are too lazy to do for themselves, it pushes my friend’s retirement further into the future. The ultimate cost is to my friend who has worked hard, created jobs, and fought his way through every kind of red tape imaginable. The cost to the looter is nothing. They simply show up and demand money for doing nothing. It is my friend who must make more money to pay for more looters who have attached themselves to those who create, like my friend.
So congratulations are in order to my friend and those like him who have survived well enough to open a restaurant in the golden land of Orlando, where imagination still counts for something, and making money is expected, and not chastised as criminal behavior by the lazy looters of the government employee. The next time I’m in Orlando, I will stop by for a visit and pay homage to the great ordeal that has become of starting a business in modern-day America as controlled by the looters, the moochers, the derelicts, the welfare recipients, and the mentally deficient who occupy the jobs that make opening a restaurant such a pain in the ass.
Perhaps it’s part of Superintendent Mantia’s Global Education program, or maybe it’s just sheer stupidity, but for some reason, Lakota is promoting the work of Ron Henrich, a social studies teacher at Hopewell Junior School at Lakota and his recent trip to China to help teach there. You can read the story for yourself on Lakota’s website at the link below.
It is not wise to fund our own demise, then brag about it as though it were a benefit of great merit. To learn more about China, I suggest you watch this very good film by Richard Gere called Red Corner (1987). I present it here in its totality. So grab a snack and enjoy a peek into a country run by communists who are seeking Lakota teachers to help educate their society.
By the way, Red Corner is banned in China. You can’t even see it on YouTube. And the execution scene was real, provided to the director at great risk to themselves. 1987 was not that long ago folks.
Upon this announcement The Cincinnati Enquirer interviewed me for my comments. I gave a frustrated response to the questions which can be read here. The answer to Lakota’s budget trouble is rather easy.
At some point Ohio will have a Right-to-Work amendment to our Ohio Constitution which will break up the union monopoly forever. This will happen because Indiana is going to get it, and Ohio will have to follow to remain competitive economically.Once the unions no longer run our public schools, we can then see how much money education will really costs. But not until that time should any additional funds be allocated for public education under any circumstances. Because it is obvious that the school board and administrations have no control or courage to even ask the labor force to take a 5% cut to save those 42 jobs that are in jeopardy. I know a portion of the teachers of Lakota are willing to take a pay cut, because I asked one of them on 700 WLW, and they said in the affirmative, “Yes I would take a pay cut to save the jobs of teachers.” Listen for yourself.
The politician brings nothing but lies, and are utterly worthless, and must be overhauled in the minds of America for what they are, based on what they do, and not on what they say. For more on this sleazy salesman proposal read my detailed article on the concept here:
