Nice job, and this holds true in Butler County especially, no drugs, no killings, and no other crimes similar in nature. If you see something, say something. And remember, Ohio has Stand your Ground laws now. Keep your neighborhoods safe from criminals.) Its unfortunate that there was a homicide in Hanover Township. Of course all 7 Butler County judges recused themselves from the bologna case in Ohio against the great auditor Roger Reynolds and two other elected officials in the heat of the political season. One thing that I can’t stand is a bully, especially when it comes to media. It’s pretty clear now why so many in the media hate that many people elected Donald Trump for president. They get it. We see it in Joe Biden; a puppet administration ran essentially by media types who project their radical progressive agenda onto a caricature in the White House. They have been doing it for years, but if we had not elected Trump to disrupt that process, we might never have seen it as clear as we do now. That much was evident in Stephanie Grisham’s new book, I’ll Take Your Questions Now, just released. Even though that book was intended to be a hit piece against the Trump family, as a whole, and to show how reckless and dangerous President Trump was, what it revealed was just how much the media wants to be in power and to run politics as unelected radicals who use the power of persuasion from the comfort of a nice, comfy desk to rule the world. I hate it so much that is the primary reason I run this blog, The Gunfighter’s Guide, and have done so for over ten years and to millions of readers. I do it to counter all the activism that occurs in the media world. A fine example of just what I’m talking about happened to several politicians in my home township of Liberty in Butler County, Ohio, which involves a lawsuit against Roger Reynolds, and two trustee candidates, Buck Rumpke and incumbent Tom Ferrell.
Essentially, the lawsuit recently filed by a property owner over a proposed senior type center development project wants more money for their land. They allege that Roger Reynolds was using politics to hold down the property’s price and keep other buyers away from the purchase process. All the members of the lawsuit are alleged to be involved in some way or another. Now on the surface, that sounds pretty nefarious. But as you dig into the story a bit, you find out that most of the participants know each other from childhood. It affects families, elderly people, and cancer diagnosis with lots of emotion attached. By the time the smoke clears, there will be hard feelings, there will be resolutions, and there will be a path forward that adults should be able to resolve on their own. But then comes the media where Jennifer Edwards Baker from Fox 19 in Cincinnati inserted herself into the story as a political activist to take what is a pretty standard property dispute and turned it into a corruption scandal with the headline titled “Corruption-related allegations in lawsuit Against Butler County auditor, Liberty trustee.“
I’ve known Roger Reynolds for a long time, many, many years, and he’s always been a good guy. Does he have some little bit of tyrant in him who would use zoning laws to squeeze a property owner to sell the property to only him and for half the price of its worth? I would never think so based on what I know of Roger. But then again, these people have known each other all their lives. Can you know everything about somebody in every circumstance? Of course not, so anything is possible. The problem with the Channel 19 hit piece is the timing. With the lawsuit filed at the end of September 2021 and Jennifer Edwards Baker putting quite a lot of effort into her article on it plastering the pictures of Roger and Ferrell on the cover rather dramatically, it doesn’t take much deduction to see that the effort is political and not some casual reporting of a legal situation. Roger, Ferrell, and Buck Rumpke are all big names in the Butler County GOP, and I happen to know that Jennifer is not fond of Republicans. I’ve had to get after her and reporters at Channel 5 before using their media outlets to incite riotous conditions during 2020 as they were trying to lure Black Lives Matters rioters into West Chester to antagonize suburbanites into the fear of big city manipulations.
If Jennifer wanted to do a fair story on corruption, I could point her to dozens and dozens of similar stories all over Cincinnati. The allegations over this Butler County land deal are common in properties where millions of dollars are involved, and generations of families are a part of the story. There are many Democrats that are involved in these kinds of scandals. Heck, we’ve seen a lot of scandals on the national stage, such as the DOJ being weaponized by the Biden administration to go after parents questioning their school boards over critical race theory. There are such stories right now going on in Lakota. But we have to ask, “where’s Jennifer on those stories? Paging Jennifer Edwards Baker. Paging the Fox 19 News hyphenated activist looking for bottom feeder stories.” There are plenty of stories about corruption that Jennifer could have picked. But this one targets Republicans right before a big election and pastes the good name that took a lifetime to build by Roger Reynolds all over the cover. Of course, typically, what happens when a lawsuit is named forces the defenders to lay low and limit their speech to not corrupt their case. By the time that all the dust settles and the case is over with everyone shaking hands in the end, the damage will already have been done. When these Republicans should be out campaigning for their official positions, they have to answer corruption questions based on allocations. Allegations can be made about anything. Proving them is much harder to do and often falls short in the end.
People asked me what I thought of the article by Jennifer Edwards Baker, and my reply was that it was typical Channel 19 activism. A lazy reporter was looking to stir up gossip and trouble for Republicans. If she cared about corruption, she’d have plenty of stories around Cincinnati to do them on, but she picked on prominent Republicans in Butler County for other reasons. Allegations are not fact, and trying to play on the emotions of an 87-year-old man who wants to sell his land is not a story. It’s bait to impede the election process of known and solid Republicans. I’m sure everyone involved in the lawsuit will declare that the timing was not a factor. But there are a lot of months in a year. Why now? And Jennifer should have known better. She stuck herself and Channel 19 into the story as political activism and nothing more. It’s a way to attempt to tarnish the reputation of Butler County as a whole by going after one of its best politicians and most respected. It reminds me of the FBI case in going after the Speaker of the House over the FirstEnergy deal in Columbus. Radical progressives went after an entire energy industry to force FirstEnergy to seek protection. The FBI calls it bribery. I’d call it the survival of a company trying not to be shut down from political activism by the Obama administration’s energy policies. The goal of the FBI investigation was to harm the Republican stronghold in the Ohio House. It’s just another form of election tampering by Democrats, and Jennifer Edwards Baker is essentially doing the same thing in Butler County, Ohio. During an election season, whenever a reporter puts “corruption” in their lead, they try to steer opinions negatively. If it’s a conviction, that’s another matter, but when it’s just allegations, its activism, which most mainstream media has become. They want to rule the world, not as officeholders, but as keyboard terrorists and assassins who operate in the shadows.
Trent Emeneker Wants to Be a Liberal Trustee in West Chester, Ohio
Not a surprise; I’m a Mark Welch guy in West Chester. Of course, I’m supporting Mark Welch for re-election to the West Chester trustees. He’s had that job for a while and has done a fantastic job. West Chester, Ohio, is one of the greatest places to live in all of America. As I said in the video above, I have recently returned from Jackson, Wyoming, which is per capita one of the wealthiest places in the United States. I love Jackson Hole, Wyoming; I enjoyed shopping there with my family. It was all very nice. But it’s not nicer than West Chester, Ohio. Not by a long shot. I’ve been all over the United States and seen a lot of nice areas to live in. When people vote for West Chester to be one of the best places anywhere to live, they aren’t kidding. And Mark Welch gets a lot of credit for making it that way. The process started long ago when Senator George Lang was a trustee and implemented a small-government philosophy, which the trustees still adhere to currently. Small government anywhere, minimal, competent, government leads to prosperity. A big, bloated government, especially filled by incompetent people, leads to corruption, disaster, and high costs to maintain that government. In this upcoming race for re-election in November of 2021, Mark Welch is the small-government guy with a proven track record. End of the story, vote for Mark and enjoy another term in office to keep West Chester great.
But there are always challenges to these kinds of positions, and this year is no different. Liberals are always trying to replace conservatives as trustees, representatives, commissioners, everywhere. And to do that, they have to pretend to be Republicans when, in fact, they are Democrats, relative to the kind of politics that we have in Butler County, Ohio. The challenger this time is a guy by the name of Trent Emeneker, a recently laid-off employee at GE who needs something to do, so he decided to run for West Chester Trustee. Now on paper, Trent will say that he’s a former Marine and a registered Republican. However, the Democrats had a recent fundraiser for Trent hosted by the old Lakota school levy supporter Kathy Wyenandt at the AC Hotel at Liberty Center. I was at the Roosevelt Room across the street around 5:30 PM on the Tuesday of that fundraiser and learned all about it from some little birdies who came to that back table complaining about the $10 drinks at the cash bar. I didn’t know Trent much but thought it was strange that a so-called “fiscal” conservative was having a fundraiser with a Democrat, even if only a few people showed up. I didn’t pay much attention to the guy until that point, but the fundraiser was enough of suspicion to inspire some research. After all, who would question a former Marine? Well, maybe people should ask those with a military record more often and not just assume they will be good officeholders. That is how we ended up with General Milley. In today’s military, many progressives are coming out of that system, so we can’t take anything for granted, which looks to be the case with Trent Emeneker.
The biggest problem with Trent is that he wants to hold a vote in West Chester to make the township into a city, which has long been a progressive plan wanted by people who attended Kathy Wyenandt’s fundraiser. Do you know why they want to make West Chester into a city? It’s not to better pay for roads and other social services. We do well now with partnerships with Butler County to operate a great community with low crime, high service value, and without an income tax. Liberals want to make West Chester a city to create more office positions for people who wish to sit in and get attention. I’m thinking of old-school levy supporters like Joan Powell, who has pushed for this city thing in West Chester for a long time. With a city comes city council seats like what they have in Middletown and Mason. Then, of course, there are significant positions such as mayors, vice mayors, and other offices. Government expansion is what we are talking about, and for liberals, it’s a chance to do something progressive and raise taxes to pay for everything. Right now, West Chester is run by essentially three trustees and a fiscal officer. Parts of Butler County that are cities do not run better than West Chester. The track record is unavoidable.
Yet that is pretty much the campaign of Trent Emeneker. Somebody that not even GE thought was worth having around since they let him go as part of their Covid-19 resizing. He wants to get on West Chester’s Board of Trustees and push to become a city so that more liberals can have some office to sit on and create more bureaucracy, such as what happens everywhere that government expands. With West Chester interacting with hundreds of thousands of people in the residing area, providing services to them all efficiently and with a budget surplus most of the time, what else is there for Trent to do but complain about making government bigger? This is where the “fiscal” conservative on his signs comes into play. If he was a real conservative, not just somebody who might have voted for George Bush in the past or every other RINO like John Kasich, he does not think like a conservative. It’s not enough to complain that the current Trustees spent millions of dollars on landscaping at the new exit off the highway. Hey, when you manage your money, you can do that. I like coming off that exit and seeing it look classy. The amount of money that is generated off the Union Center exit in West Chester is enormous. Planting a few flowers doesn’t make the current trustees fiscally reckless. Instead, they respect the great businesses camped out in West Chester because the trustees have protected them from the overly intrusive government Trent wants.
These kinds of campaign theatrics used to work when people didn’t know better, but in West Chester, everyone can look at a track record of success. Then to propose that government is what makes something great, which most liberals believe and what gives Trent away as a liberal, is to slap away everything successful in West Chester. And that’s what would come with a vote for Trent Emeneker. He can sell himself as Goose from Top Gun because he spent ten years in the Marines in the back of a Navy fighter. I might like Top Gun, but I don’t know if I’d want Goose managing the money in my home township. I’d need more than that. What matters to me is that he was so invaluable that he ended up on the lay-off list at GE when they decided they needed to reduce their workforce after Covid hit. Why would he make a good trustee again if an employer didn’t even want him? And when Democrats are pushing to get you elected, what does that say about the person running? Yeah, I’m sure Trent is a nice fellow. He probably is a nice husband and father. But keep that guy away from money. Because he’s a liberal in disguise, and he wants to expand government and change what has been working for us all very well already.
I really like what Joe Statzer and others are doing in Butler County to get some official media to cover all the good officeholders concentrated in the northern suburbs. With their new YouTube channel True Spoken GOP, Joe has collected several interviews with stars of the GOP and future stars. And yes, I think stars is the right word because it takes a lot of guts to put themselves out there and work the ropes in ways many people have no idea about to make the world a little bit better. We work hard in Butler County, Ohio, to make its government-run well, and at the top of that star-driven pyramid is Sheriff Jones, who is world-famous. I am very proud to have him as our sheriff because if he wasn’t, it’s likely that things would have been much worse during these Covid overreaches that we have seen out of the DeWine administration and, ultimately, the Biden administration. Sheriff Jones has held firm, and recently, he gave an excellent speech at Big Bul’s in Ross, Ohio that was a lot of fun. I recorded a few sections of it for my article, but I had wanted to hear it again.Thankfully, Joe and the great people operating True Spoken GOP captured it pretty much intact and put it up, which I think is worth sharing. It’s people like Sheriff Jones who will stand up to any communist infusion first coming from the Biden administration. But over our shores and beyond our borders, there are schemes and plots from the Davos crowd working with China to overthrow America’s influence worldwide. And it can look pretty scary, that is until you go to one of these GOP events and Sheriff Jones speaks. When he does, suddenly, the world makes a lot more sense.

I can’t get to every event, but I try to go to as many as possible. I have been participating in more GOP events lately because there is a real political need to help in some of these areas, and I do what I do to help. I see it as a community thing, in helping shape the kind of government we want. Sometimes money isn’t enough, nor is it just volunteering. Occasionally other items are needed, and with the way things are right now, people are required to help make things better. We can’t just sit around and complain about how we’d like things to be. We need to help make them better, and as I say often, politics is like a blood sport. Competition makes it better, but sometimes even with the heat of the pressure, there needs to be some strategy that everyone can agree on. And sometimes, like that event at Big Bul’s, it’s just nice to sit back and let other people talk and to show everyone that there is more of a fighting chance at surviving the problems of the present without losing ourselves along the way. That night Sheriff Jones opened up for a speech by Corey Lewandowski, and for the audience, it was something they needed. Both speakers are part of the inner workings of the Trump campaign. Sheriff Jones has been to the White House a few times and worked directly with Trump, and that night, people wanted to be close to Trump, and Sheriff Jones was a suitable representative. It was a good night.
I remember the night well when things looked bad for Trump, a few days after the Access Hollywood blast from the mainstreamers sought to kill Trump’s campaign right before the election in 2016. I was at the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, which was filled to the top with about 19,000 people. I had to do an overseas meeting with some people I work with at the same time that Sheriff Jones was speaking before Trump arrived, and he was so loud I had a hard time finishing the call. There was no place in US Bank Arena that I could go to where I could hear the other people. Sheriff Jones was so loud that night. But I wasn’t mad. I managed through it. I was more grateful that Jones had the guts to stick with Trump during a tough week. It looked like our hopes of getting Trump was going to fall short and that we’d be stuck with Hillary Clinton. But Sheriff Jones showed up with Rudy Giuliani, and they lit up the audience before the arrival of Trump. And once Trump did arrive, after that evening, I felt that he was still going to win, no matter what the media was telling us.
That’s how it felt at Big Bul’s during that speech that Sheriff Jones gave there. He went around the audience beforehand and shook everyone’s hand. I had a chance to talk to him a bit. We both love our cowboy hats, and I had just picked up a new one from a recent trip out west to Jackson Hole, which he noticed. And I just felt proud at that moment to have Jones in our corner within Butler County. Some brutal battles have been fought over the years, and he’s always a reminder that good does beat evil. That’s how I felt before the speech. After the speech, I felt even more confident than I did after the US Bank Arena speech that we would win this modern tragedy involving the Biden administration and a global cabal who wants to destroy everything it means to be American. That night at Big Bul’s, the real Americans showed up on a steamy evening in August of 2021 and drew a line in the sand. We weren’t going to be conquered by the progressive left. We were going to stand up to them and do what we had to do. But for a moment in time, we’d crack some jokes, shake hands with one another, then we’d pull down our hats and do what had to be done.
Sheriff Jones has been a great warrior in Butler County. I hope to have him for a sixth term, or perhaps even a seventh. I hope we have him for sheriff for many more years. But I am grateful for the times we have had. It’s mainly because of him that we do have good officeholders in Butler County. He’s done an excellent job of leading by example and exerting influence leadership in the blood sport of politics. Because in the end, we have won a lot more than we’ve lost, and we have survived to tell stories about it. And I have a feeling even many years from now; there will still be stories of Sheriff Jones and the leadership he provided when the community needed it most, as hope looked like it was fading. Only for us to realize that we were only a joke or two from beating back the progressive advances of a maleficent force of antagonists who want to destroy everything we stand for. But not so fast, not at Big Bul’s in Ross, Ohio with our white-hatted sheriff, a direct connection to President Trump who has been exiled from the White House, only to return, with all our help, to retake our country and push out the thieves caught trying to steal it. Revenge is coming, but that doesn’t mean we have to take things too seriously. There will be time for that later. Now, while the time comes near, it’s the mark of a good leader to know how to ease people’s minds with a bit of laughter and camaraderie.

I know it’s scary out there. The news is one constant outpouring of crises every day. With the debacle of Afghanistan, the threats from China, the power of our out-of-control government going complete tyrannical rule over mask mandates and vaccines, it looks pretty hopeless. But when you unplug from the television and go to places like the Freedom Rally we had in Butler County, Ohio at The Big Bul Roadhouse and listen to Sheriff Jones and Corey Lewandowski speak along with some good music, cold beer, and lots of American flags, you will find that our country is still there. It’s just that the rest of the world doesn’t see it because our media won’t show it on TV. But it’s there, and I saw it for myself. I include above and below videos of the event to share. I have many people from other countries who read here daily, so this is meant for them. Especially in Taiwan, where there is some genuine terror that America will fall and not be there for them, China will gobble them up because that is what the media propaganda is saying there as we withdraw from Afghanistan. For those in the United States, I’m sure you can find a similar Freedom Rally like this in your neighborhood. Although Butler County, Ohio, is a special place, there are similar events all over the country. But those in other countries like Serbia and the Netherlands, where I have several readers every day who turn to this site for hope and encouragement, I’m happy and proud to share how life is in Butler County, Ohio, where freedom and liberty are still very much alive.

It’s always great to have our Sheriff Jones speak at these kinds of things. He was hilarious. I only filmed a portion of his comments, mainly because I was right up front with the camera, and I didn’t want to ruin his speech with a constant recording. Sometimes with these kinds of things, you want to let the intimate setting between the speaker and the audience have its way, and Sheriff Jones was off the chain funny. Even more so after I turned off the camera. But in the clips here, you get the point. And should he be talking like that, you might ask? After all, he’s in his fifth term as Sheriff, and he has no plans to retire. Well, yes, he should talk like that. He is the last line of defense between the people of Butler County and the kind of tyranny that comes out of the federal and state governments. Sheriff Jones, over the years, has earned my respect the way he stands up to governors and presidents, reminding them often before anybody else in the country that power flows from the counties up to the federal level, not the other way around. In many ways, your local Sheriff is the most powerful office holding job in the country, even more so than the President of the United States. We aren’t taught that in school, but in reality, that’s how it is. And we certainly have a good one in Butler County, Ohio. I am very proud to have him on my team! He can say whatever he wants as far as I’m concerned because the situation warrants it. We can’t play pattycake with the enemies of America.

Many of us who live in Butler County, Ohio, think of it as a small town, a northern suburb of Cincinnati that is off the national radar. But in truth, it is the epicenter of conservative politics. I’ve been to most of the states this year, traveling extensively, and I can report that no place else is the politics and organization of the Republican Party better and more passionate. Other cities have pockets of conservativism. I am thinking of Cody, Wyoming, where I don’t think there is a Democrat anywhere. They were very solid there, but in Butler County, there are over 400,000 residents, and things could be much more complicated. Yet, it’s all pretty simple. We have great office holders because we maintain them well in Butler County. We have events like this freedom rally where officeholders and the people who put them in power can talk to each other and have fun. It’s a relationship that feeds both the politics and the community healthily and unusually. And it’s always refreshing to experience. Sheriff Jones is the perfect embodiment of all those needs, and he plays that role to the best of his abilities, which shows.

That’s how a prominent national figure like Corey Lewandowski from the Trump campaign found himself speaking that night at the Big Bul. If there was Trump country anywhere in the world, Butler County was it. And he probably needed to talk to us as much as we needed to hear from him. Everything coming out of the news was negative these days for America, and we all needed to remind each other why we were still honoring our flag. Because Woke politics was in full bloom, and everything has been attacked. It was good to listen to good country music and gather in the heat to recalibrate our sentiments to the fight ahead. And Corey showing up to tell stories about working with Trump was just the right thing at the right time. He was the closest thing we had to Trump at a time when we were hungry for solutions. I had been dragging my wife to many political events lately, all of them good and essential. But she was looking for a night off. When I told her Corey Lewandowski would speak at this Big Bul event, she was eager to go. And there were a lot of people there who came for the same reasons. Corey Lewandowski was a door to Trump, and people were looking for a rallying point to grab on to. While he was on stage, they had found it. Corey was great. Again, the language was a bit harsh, but then, so are the circumstances. People want to fight back against the wokeness, and Corey understood that and gave the crowd just what they were looking for.

As I said in the video above, many diverse people were there; the Bikers for Trump were there in force. There were big donor millionaires there, and at the same tables, people could barely wipe together two nickels to get a quart of oil to change in their cars. Such people would never associate with each other equally anywhere globally, but they do in Butler County, Ohio, and certainly that night at the Big Bul. Everyone agreed that they loved America; they love Trump because he’s willing to defend America, not attack it like most of our politics wanted to. And we were wargaming for future elections where Trump types of Republicans would take office seats, and we would fight back against this invasion starting in our communities, then our states, then at the federal level. We would put Trump back in the White House, and the world can’t see that yet. But at the Big Bul in Ross, Ohio, deep within Butler County, it was apparent. The words were strong, the applause even louder. The beer was cold. And the path forward is quite clear. America wouldn’t lose this war; we would return even more significantly now that we see the cards on the table. And we’re playing to win this time, not just trying to get along.

I had an excellent opportunity to meet Vivek Ramaswamy, talking about his upcoming book, Woke, Inc., at a Butler County event sponsored by several great Republicans. Butler County Treasurer Nancy Nix and her husband are a few of the best people anybody could imagine. They were responsible for setting up the event, which features a discussion on the problem of “wokeness” in American business and is a topic I am very concerned with. I always appreciate when I have an opportunity to learn something new, and I did as Vivek spoke for an hour and a half at the Republican Victory Center in Middletown, Ohio. He said that the definition of “woke” was waking up from the dream of being an American, which startled me as a metaphor. I suppose it’s an obvious definition, but the way Vivek presented it was pretty alarming. Ramaswamy, you might know from Fox Business and Fox News in general, he’s on several shows regularly, specifically Tucker Carlson. So it was quite a treat to get him for an evening all to ourselves to discuss this critical issue as I talk about below.
Unfortunately, context is needed because most Republicans are just too damn nice for their own good, they listen and follow the rules way too easily and Democrats often abuse them while laughing all the way. That is the nature of this ridiculous notion that Joey Biden is going to be able to rule from the Executive Branch through orders on gun control. People, this is why we need guns, to maintain control of our own government in case we have to wrestle away control when it gets too big, too corrupt and flows away from our Constitution. We’re not giving up our guns to a government that is out of control. Its just not going to happen, so don’t worry about it. Already in fact the celebrity Sheriff from my town has said that he plans to ignore any executive orders from the Biden administration before any of them have even been issued. Sheriff Jones was on WLW radio this week on the Bill Cunningham show stating clearly what he planned to do regarding Biden’s plans for gun control by executive order, which is nothing. He’s not going door to door to confiscate anybody’s guns and that’s the end of the story.
Of course, Sheriff Jones is just one guy, but he did the same thing regarding the mask mandates in Butler County, Ohio where we live defying Governor DeWine quite openly, because our governor had lost control and was abusing his power. Sheriff Jones just refused to follow and impose on the people of Butler County any of that lunacy. Jones went onto all the big cable shows and expressed his reasoning and many other sheriffs all across the country joined him in defying their governors as they abused their emergency powers over Covid-19. That is in effect the nature of our Republic, where there are checks on power that limit any kind of kingly rule. It takes time to push through any new legislation which then prevents regimes of power from taking control in the United States. That’s the way the system is supposed to work. It’s certainly not what the Biden administration has been doing which is a radical takeover of the very nature of America as viewed by extreme foreign interference. Other countries which run the Biden campaign do not understand Americans. The last line of defense in our republic from abusive laws and regulations by an out of control government is defiance, and that is what Sheriff Jones and many other law enforcement agencies all across the nation are planning to do with any Biden executive orders. Remember the mask mandate from Biden on all federal property including driving down the highway? I traveled all across the country a few weeks after he issued that and you know what, everyone ignored it. There was nobody wearing masks in their cars driving down the roads across 9 different states. Dumb rules are meant to be defied and broken.
So what’s the point at all of having a government or rules of any kind if people just break them. Well, our republic is designed to have rule of law by consent, and we vote that at the ballot box. That is why the election fraud rules that Democrats are proposing are so vile, the lack of voter ID and to open up voting to all kinds of forms of cheating such as mail in ballots that anybody can tamper with at any time to get whatever results are desired. Even if you cheat, you still don’t get the will of consent from the people who had their elections stolen from them. On paper the current government got rid of President Trump, but not the will of the people to have him represent them in our republic. They gave us this bumbling idiot Joe Biden instead and people don’t like him, they didn’t vote for him, and they want to be free of the kind of government he represents. When we had President Trump Democrats ignored most of his Executive Orders, especially on immigration. Judges all over the country were refusing to obey the Trump administration on most everything which opened the door for future behavior. Now that Biden has that power, it’s his turn to see what little power the Executive Branch truly has if the people of the country did not give consent to be ruled through the election process. That gives everyone the opportunity to defy the federal government regionally because truly the power of our government is with the states, not some king living in the White House, as the handlers of the Biden administration obviously don’t understand. The more they push, the dumber they look.
But for Republicans they fear the tyranny of the Biden administration going door to door and confiscating our guns and what that might mean to them. After all, nobody really wants to start a war with the federal government and a lot of people are uncomfortably close to snapping and using their guns for their intended purpose, in the last line of defense in maintaining our constitutional republic from the hands of foreign invaders who have penetrated both political parties with financial influence. Sheriff Jones gets it. I know him actually quite well; I have a long history with him and he’s my neighbor. We may have disagreed on union laws in the past and some other minor issues involving our local school system, but he’s a good dude and he certainly understands people. He also knows the nature of our country and has taken an oath to our Constitution which he takes seriously as a rule of law type of guy. And he’s not going to break that oath and betray the people of his community just because Joe Biden says so. So for the people who live in Butler County, rest assured, the federal government is not going to be going door to door while Sheriff Jones is still in charge of law enforcement. It’s just not going to happen and many, I would say most, sheriffs across the country will follow the Sheriff Jones example, which is why it was so important that he came out this soon to make his thoughts known.
As I said in the video above, the law enforcement community didn’t support Joe Biden so it won’t take much for them to defy this puppet president at every turn. Biden does not have a secret button in the Oval Office he can push and all the police suddenly get into their cars and come to our houses pulling innocent people out in the street to beat them and take their guns. There are bad people in law enforcement who will follow Biden and they will abuse their power, but in general especially in Butler County where there are strong, good sheriffs in charge of the law, people don’t have to worry. There may be pockets of abuse, but it won’t be that way in Butler County, Ohio and each community across the nation will have to find their groove, which is a much different thing than the entire nation falling to the tyranny of an executive order. It’s much easier to fight your local law enforcement than some giant blob of federal government, and when the rubber hits the road on this gun control issue, that’s how it will be. Most police will think as Sheriff Jones does making Biden powerless for his intentions. And that’s how it is and will remain.

I think Kathy Wyenandt is a nice person who is well intentioned, but we just can’t let it go that she attacked George Lang after he voted to support Senate Bill 1 which is meant to reign in the powers of the out-of-control liberal Amy Acton. Kathy is a Democrat after all so of course she is going to come to the defense of other liberals and attempt to make it some kind of “girl power” thing so that she can have a remote chance of beating George Lang in the upcoming fall election where they are both fighting for the 4th District Senate Seat in Ohio. After some nice discussions with her I was planning to treat the race like I did between Mark Welch and Jennifer Gross. I liked Mark, but both were good candidates so I let the thing play out without a lot of opinion from me. I don’t go out of my way to pillage people as much as that might seem to be, and I personally like Kathy. When I see her I always ask her if she’s ready to be a Republican. But truly she is a classic liberal and that comes out in her behavior especially when pressed and sticking herself into the Amy Acton business is all the evidence anybody needs to ensure that she doesn’t get a vote for that senate race.

What bothers me about Kathy Wyenandt’s comment about Amy Acton, George Lang and Senate Bill 1 the most is that it shows what an amateur she truly is running for a big senate race. It shows how little respect she has for the effort. I mean, I shouldn’t be surprised, her only real previous experience is as a Lakota school levy supporter, which is a pretty small game that is very one sided. As a senator, she needs to be able to represent a lot of voters of all kinds of backgrounds, even if it is her choice to be a Democrat, she has to understand that she needs a larger platform than to just say, “I’m a mom and I support Amy Acton” who is a liberal Obama nightmare of a mistake by Mike DeWine for appointing her in the first place as an abortion activist in a pro-life administration. What a mess, and you’d think Kathy would be politically savvy enough to see the minefields there and to navigate them better than she did. However, because she’s so one dimensional, she has nothing else on her platform but to essentially agree with George Lang on just about everything because she has nothing else to run off of. With only a property tax increase as her calling card, she is clearly well above her experience level with this race, and it makes me angry that I considered her higher than that.
Yet that’s what pressure does to people, it shows what they are really made of and its good to see what she has to offer so early in the race. That she proposed that we were just supposed to accept Amy Acton’s mistakes in running Ohio economically, off what will prove to be a very overblown government response to Covid-19 that is going to be embarrassing for many people for many years to come, is the same kind of stupidity that pro levy supporters typically endorse for schools where the labor is too high for what they give students in government schools. People like Kathy just want to believe in the system, so they sign up without question to the bullet points, and then put their support behind it. That clearly shows that Kathy isn’t able to represent anybody at the level of the senate where lobbyists and all types of corrosive character is out for the vote of a senator at every turn. You must have a pretty strong character to endure all that without getting sucked into a scam, and that is exactly how history will remember Covid-19. Forget about what the phony polls conducted by media are right now about the coronavirus, 6 months from now when people have their minds on the election and the Covid-19 lockdowns are something they want to forget, everything about the coronavirus will be something that nobody will want to remember, especially in politics.
To play the big game of a senate seat a candidate needs to have much better political instincts than what Kathy has shown. The scope of the effort must be more than people over politics, which is Kathy’s slogan for this election. Its too similar to Teachers for Kids, when trying to pass school levies tricking people into paying more in property taxes to cover the gross mismanagement of school boards who just cave into every labor agreement without any pushback which causes the budget problems. In this race George Lang isn’t like me where he wants to bust up everyone on the political left and make a belt out of them, he’s a pretty nice guy. What he and I have always agreed with is that government should get out of the way of individual rights and everything flows from there. But as a person, George will sit down and talk to anybody. I don’t know that George has any real political enemies. He tends to always look to make a friend out of anybody which is a good trait in someone representing a lot of people in an important senate seat. Butler County has over 400,000 people in it and most of them are not as liberty minded as me, and George represents them well. I think Amy Acton should be strung up and blasted out of a cannon into space only to return as a meteor shower. George is willing to blame Mike DeWine for her, and he’s willing to give the Governor the benefit of doubt. Hindsight is always 20/20. I saw it all in foresight, but how could anybody know what to believe? George is a very balanced person, so what does Kathy have in the tank for the race if her opposition is actually more of a people person than she is?
The evidence is already quite clear for her, in the primary with no competition George Lang still had more votes than she did. And George had two other rivals competing with him for votes. Kathy would have to raise a lot of money, which she’s trying to do with George’s support of Senate Bill 1 to even move the needle a percentage or two. She could put her face on all the billboards in town, buy up YouTube ads. Do the street walking. She may work her ass off and at best she’s going to get a very minor gain for the effort, because George will at least match her efforts. The guy works hard and is very sincere in his efforts. Even at her best, George will match her. And if she falls short of his efforts, which is highly likely, she won’t stand a chance of even getting those few percentage points. So what she was thinking with her comments about Amy Acton showed gross misunderstanding of what it will take to compete in this election and personally, I don’t want to see her embarrassed.
Its not that I have any real love for her, she’s a rival from the old Lakota levy campaigns and she thinks that 2013 levy won because of her. Nope, it passed because of Sheriff Jones getting behind the effort which pulled away just enough No Lakota Levy people to give a very, slight, marginal victory in an off-year election after a lot of money was spent even trying to consult people into a yes vote. And that same naivety is at work with this attack of George over Amy Acton. Right now people don’t know who to believe and Acton has been on television everyday sounding very motherly, and making people feel safe. But in the months to come, she is going to be ridiculed to no end and the politics of Covid-19 will be crushing. Anybody not part of the solution of getting people back to work and putting coronavirus in the rearview mirror will be viewed with the same anger that is coming out of these lockdowns. And for Kathy, she was already on a major uphill climb. I didn’t want to see her win that seat as George is my pick naturally. But I don’t really want to see her destroyed as a person, and that is where she is headed. Which is a shame.
Over the weekend I was able to catch up on some of the Democrat coverage of the presidential candidates while campaigning in Iowa head of their primary and it became very obvious that the Trump rally we had in West Chester last week where George Lang, Warren Davidson, Sheriff Jones and Steve Buckingham from the Trump campaign drew larger crowds. You can see those crowds in the following Twitter coverage from that event. I didn’t think about it much at the time because I was just enjoying the festivities. Everyone had a great time and it seemed to bring out the best in people Between the Butler County GOP and the Trump team they brought in Chick fil-a to feed everyone and the event was a top notch rally in so many respects. But the people coming didn’t know that and they showed up just to hear people just talking about Trump and in large numbers. Before the rally many of us talked to the press, Channel 5 came out and covered it, and so did WLW radio, but not many others. The response we received was that “you guys love Trump in Butler County, where’s the story?” After the rally once the pictures started going up from people who where there, it became obvious what the story was, the media didn’t want to cover more people coming to hear these guys talk than who are going to see the leading presidential candidate for the Democrats. For the proof of that I would like to point you dear reader to the following article by the Cincinnati Enquirer talking about an upcoming senate race between Kathy Wyenandt and Candice Keller for the 4th District of Ohio. Its very, very interesting.
I don’t like to point at media bias as some below the line reason for something, but to the average person who doesn’t know much about politics, the Cincinnati Enquirer attempted to paint the scandal ridden Republican whom the party is asking to step down from her office over several very misplaced comments to Kathy Wyenandt, the Democrat that they are trying to flip a seat to blue in the very conservative Butler County—a long held objective among the liberal news room directors and newspaper heads. Its not the news they care about, it’s the political objective which they quite openly these days advocate. The truth of that article was that there are two other candidates running for that Republican seat, George Lang and Ding Dong Wong. But the Enquirer left them out of the article and tried to paint the whole race for senate between the two women—one of which is as good as toast even within her own party.

That article was written back in August of 2019 while the news of Candace Keller’s latest scandal was hot on the press—so the intent was clear to the Enquirer’s readership, promote the Republican that is in trouble so people remember her name while promoting the Democrat woman who normally wouldn’t have a snow balls chance in Hell of making it to the freezer for preservation. Both must be artificially propped up to look like front runners in that upcoming election and the Cincinnati Enquirer was happy to play that role. So fast forward a few months to this rally for Trump in West Chester held on a night when he couldn’t even come, because he was in Iowa doing another rally ahead of the Democrats and their primary there drawing huge crowds as usual, and people showed up to see George Lang and Warren Davidson speak and the enthusiasm for those two was incredible. That was the news story that none of the outlets wanted to cover because it goes against their desires for the upcoming election for which they are desperate to shape the story.

The rally was held in very large space that none of us thought we’d come close to filling, yet the pit in front of the stage was at least double any event that Joe Biden was able to attract over the week leading up to the primary. If the news wanted to truly report the news, they’d be interested in that little fact. Instead however of reporting how many people in Butler County and specifically West Chester were interested in attending a rally where these local politicians were speaking, one of them being the frontrunner in that 4th Senate Seat race, they would have at least covered it from that perspective. “West Chester rally for local GOP candidates outdraw Democrats for presidential candidates in Iowa.” Because that was the truth of the matter. I mentioned that observation to a few people while at that rally but it wasn’t until later and listing to the speech by Sheriff Jones where he had the crowd chanting “USA, USA, USA” that it became apparent just how many people were there.

I think based on what I saw that George Lang could draw a bigger crowd within his district than any of the presidential candidates who are leading in the polls could anywhere in the country. There is more enthusiasm for George from the base of Republicans who support him than there are for any Democrat. I might have thought that before that West Chester rally, but after, there is no question. Knowing that Trump wasn’t going to be at that rally, people showed up to hear what they considered the next best thing, George Lang and Warren Davidson speak to an excited audience. And the Cincinnati Enquirer skipped out on the opportunity to cover it because they didn’t like the story. It went against their activism of trying to paint the disgraced Candace Keller as the leader who would go against the Democrat in Butler County. What they were really up to was attempting to convince the un-informed masses to clear the deck chairs for a conversion of a deep red district into a blue one by removing the biggest red piece in the puzzle from the board all together. And if they had covered the West Chester rally, it would undo the way they have poised the story to continue into the primary in March.

The Journal in Hamilton isn’t any different. The activism on their part is rampant as well, it’s the reason that all these newspapers have made themselves irrelevant. The news happens faster than they can report it, they have a bias that does not reflect the views of their readership, and they are uninteresting. I used to contribute many articles to the Western Star when I lived in Warren County for a number of years. Back then, it was the news of record locally. But now its out of business because when people want to read a news story about these things, they just open up their phone and are free to get whatever information they want. The Enquirer and The Journal never have properly adapted. If it wasn’t for the people over 60 years of age, they’d be out of business right now. All newspapers are headed over the cliff and this is the reason. But blogs like this one report these events and its much easier for a consumer of information to click here and retrieve the information months from now than it is to get a little 400 word article that is all about political activism on their part, into the mind of a busy consumer. So there you have it, since they didn’t report what a great event the West Chester rally was, now you can see it for yourself and also know that Candace Keller is not the face of the primary election, she’s the one that Republicans are trying to get out of the way due to her radicalized comments. And that is the truth of the matter that the Enquirer tried to promote in favor of their handpicked stooge, Kathy Wyenandt.
While the President of the United States was in Iowa getting in front of the Democrat primaries there, there was a rally in West Chester that had more people at it than the averages of all the Democrat presidential candidates have at any of their rallies. Joe Biden would have considered himself lucky to have so many people gather anywhere he is at, let alone people coming to gather in his honor even though he wasn’t even there. Yet that was what happened with Trump, the supporters of Butler County were willing to wait in line and give respect to the President even when he’s 500 miles away in a completely different state. And that includes politicians like George Lang who is currently a member of the Ohio House of Representatives running for the senate. George Lang has supported Donald Trump well before the Republican primaries of 2016 even had their first vote, so he certainly wasn’t going to miss a rally for the President taking place in his home district even while the House was locked in a procedural stalemate. Lang persuaded leadership to let him leave the chamber and drive from Columbus to West Chester in time to give this very energized speech. After the event was over, George headed back to Columbus to conclude his work with the House and it is people like this who have emerged in such a positive way in American politics with Trump leading the way in the White House.
George Lang has always been magnificent and full of abundant energy. However, he has never had the opportunity to be so effective as he has since Donald Trump has been elected. In the speech he gave at the Trump rally he was able to distinguish a bit why he was elected to the House and is such a front runner in the Senate, he used to be a trustee in West Chester which thrived under his leadership. West Chester under Lang’s pro-business policies has thrived into a wonderland of business, entertainment, and a residential paradise, one of the truly best places to live in all of America, and therefor the world. Given the energy he has for whatever job he plunges himself into, George Lang excels and everyone he touches benefits. In that way he is truly magnificent. He understands that its not government that gives people opportunity, but that it’s the job of the politician to get government out of the way of progress as much as possible so that the individual can think, create, and bring forth the wonders of their imaginations.
During Lang’s speech he spoke about the timeline of progress stating that society might have had many new inventions much sooner in life than with government always standing in the way. Of course he’s speaking about the very important journey from Aristotle to the Founding Fathers and how human intelligence had evolved away from kingship to the wonders of a Thomas Edison inventing new things every couple of days at the end of the 19th century. Not everyone is so inclined to be such a contributor, but any productive society wants to set up the conditions for uniqueness to spring forward and to thrive under the protection of a stable society. If government has a job it is to create that stability, but certainly not to micromanage people into bureaucratic compliance to out of touch politicians. George Lang has always understood what the true role of government should be and West Chester has thrived under his leadership and divine energy.
That same energy was on full display at the Trump rally with the events of his very busy day, starting out early with House business and an important vote to end at the Trump rally, only to finish off back in Columbus to resume business without complaint or any measure of apathy. George Lang is a tireless warrior for the innovative, the creative, and the diligent business leaders not just wanting to make money for their companies and employees, but to extend their personal risk into operations of a chance that wouldn’t be possible under any other form of government but the supporter who seeks to remove regulation and barriers giving more time and investment to new business creation. With that kind of approach West Chester has created a climate where new business investment has been willing to give new birth to strip malls like the ones that Kroger moves out of to make new, magnificent Marketplace stores only to leave behind shells of smaller buildings now vacant, like a crab leaving behind a smaller shell only to take on the form of a larger creature. In West Chester most of the time new business concepts move into those smaller shells to take advantage of the very friendly business climate, such as The Web near Lakota East, and The Antique Mall that moved into the old Biggs location. Other communities struggle to keep their real estate fresh and exciting, but due to Lang’s very friendly pro-business environment and his ability to help build the next generation of trustees in West Chester, this land of economic paradise continues to grow in positive ways, under the invisible hand of innovation and sheer creativity free of too much government intervention.
Many of us aren’t trained to think in such a way, that better results come from less government. Our education institutions teach us the opposite, but history has shown that the true path is the one that George Lang understands, less is more and unbridled energy is contagious. That is what separates Lang from the pack of ankle biters who constantly are trying to peck at him into slowing down long enough for them to catch up. But Lang is a tireless warrior of intellect and passion. The candidates running against him for the upcoming primary are either rock throwers who have no other pages in their playbook or they are social butterflies who think they can shake hands with enough people to get a free lunch. They are not at the caliber of George Lang and they are well aware of it. You didn’t see them speaking at a Trump rally, and you certainly don’t see them with backstage pictures with President Trump, essentially because like minds gravitate toward each other and George Lang and Donald Trump are essentially likeminded personalities who occasionally find each other in the chaos of government driven conformity as change agents seeking to reverse that trend. Trump has now been doing on a national scale what George Lang has been doing for decades in West Chester, promoting a pro-business climate, going against the bureaucrat class who simply want to tie everyone’s hands with more unthoughtful regulation, and inspiring individuals to take leadership positions in their own lives instead of waiting for someone who never comes to provide it for them. Empowerment is the theme of this new age of politics and like Donald Trump, George Lang is one of the original creators.
So for more reasons than just to give a speech, George Lang rushed to West Chester to be with fellow Trump supporters to rally for tomorrow’s new opportunities and to cast a wide net of optimism on the future itself. With all the hope for what’s best about people, George Lang enjoys empowering people to do what’s best for them, which then becomes what’s best for their community decided by market need, not some stuffy regulator afraid of their own shadows and in essence, that is a remarkable opportunity we all have, to have people like George Lang as options on a voter card, and Donald Trump who with such boyish optimism can put the world on their backs and carry them over mountains of red tape to a land of opportunity that was always there, only we could not see it for the mess presented to us. That is why George is so magnificent, its because he has never learned to fail, never accepted less than his dreams, and is in spite of many barriers given to him in his own life never yielded to them. And the result is this fantastic man who is willing to give to everyone who can vote for him the opportunities for unlimited fulfilment if only they would dare enough to say yes to it.
