My Problem with The Doctrine of Lesser Magistrates: The Second Amendment is the best and most efficient way to check the power of tyrants

It was almost humorous to watch Jerry Nadler’s reaction to testimony on the Second Amendment before congress during the last week of October 2021.  It’s not like the question was new, but the answer was perfect and stated what everyone needed to hear.   The Second Amendment is for preserving American freedom, even if its government loses its way and suddenly federal troops under orders from unconstitutional mandates mean that the police and military are suddenly the bad guys.  Further, it’s not for anybody to suspend their constitutional rights while the government figures it out in court, which can drag on for years and ruin lives in the process.  Suppose the government is wrong by not following the constitutions we all swore to protect and start acting out of other interests, like United Nations greenie weenie rules that only they came up with. In that case, a corrective measure is needed. The ownership of guns and their use is there to preserve individual liberty from tyranny.  And tyranny is a lot of what we have seen up to this point.  Fortunately, there haven’t been any shootouts over the preservation of our rights.  I think the reason why is most Americans know that they have those gun rights.  They have not taken too seriously the criminal government officials like Dr. Fauci that Disney has celebrated as some god of the universe.  Luckily the government hasn’t pushed itself onto people yet to the point where pulling a trigger is the only logical answer.  But we have come very close over the last few years, so perhaps this testimony was a suitable warning to progressives just how much rope they would be given to hang themselves.  But to be clear, Second Amendment rights are the last resort against a tyrannical government, such as we have now.  It’s not intended for hunting or to be micro-managed by caliber and to have a government taxing ammunition or deciding what a militia is.  The Second Amendment is for preserving our lives and our Republic from the bad guys. Suppose the military isn’t following those rules and are acting by some orders from corrupt officeholders. In that case, gun rights are meant to be that critical layer of protection for the individual.

This is the reason I don’t typically discuss the book The Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrates.  Not because it’s philosophically wrong or not rooted in good legislative law.  I like the book quite a bit and am very supportive of people who understand it as officeholders.  As was proven during Covid-19, we had tremendous corruption by the various health departments and governors of America until local pushback against unconstitutional mandates, such as sheltering in place and mask-wearing, were realized.  It was the worst display of tyranny that the world had seen in one swipe, and I can say that one of the first to push back against Governor DeWine in my state of Ohio was our good Sheriff Jones, who refused to enforce the mask mandates.  As an example of the Second Amendment topic here, if Sheriff Jones had not stood up as a Lessor Magistrate in the pecking order of government offices and DeWine had instead ordered the National Guard to go door to door with mask enforcement, then that would be the last straw for a proper government.  A defense of liberties would have to be utilized through gun violence.  If not for local officeholders such as sheriffs, trustees, and House and Senate members, we saw through Covid that government would keep taking and taking until there is nothing left.  So I fully support The Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrates as a concept of federalism that keeps our government honest. It takes the edge away from having to resort to gun violence to protect our individual lives.

The 2nd Amendment is not for Hunting Animals, its is for Hunting Tyrants

But I have an additional wrinkle in my life that many don’t have; I don’t recognize any authority created by mankind as a higher magistrate to me.  I don’t recognize any living creature on the face of this earth as superior to me in any way.  All the titles created by mankind have been to do various jobs, whether work, politics, or social structure.  They only have value within the scope of the act they are attempting to manage.  But in life, I don’t recognize anybody as my superior, so the Lessor Magistrates is a bit of a problem for me.  Because it means you have to acknowledge that someone is your Upper Magistrate, which I won’t do.  I expect political figures to defend their turf under the federalism of our Republic, where the power starts from the bottom and works its way to the top.  And it concerned me greatly for a while to see this gross attempt by the federal government to assert itself as a centralized authority under the jurisdiction of the United Nations, which is still happening by the Jerry Nadler types. Still, many more Americans from the beginning are behaving more along with the proper management of a republic instead of some communist democracy.  But there were several terrifying moments along the way that I thought I’d have to turn to the Second Amendment for justice and to hell what happens after.  But because of the Lesser Magistrates and some good work by our Sheriff and our House and Senate members, they took away DeWine’s powers and restored to some extent the way our government is supposed to be managed.

Yet, suppose the Lesser Magistrates had not stood up to the Upper Magistrates. In that case, you can bet that tyrannical governors like DeWine would now be turning to the National Guard to enforce their Covid protocols.  The United Nations, behind Covid as a push for a Great Reset, has had to watch this process with incredible frustration.  Much of their plans for a complete collapse of the American economy so that they could redistribute that wealth across the world were perplexed when all these governors stood in the way of a president they inserted illegally into the White House.  Governors like Kristi Noem and Ron DeSantis stood up as Lessor Magistrates to the grotesque imposition of the Upper Magistrates, which then took away the pressure for gun violence as a last resort.

Credit does go to Representative Chip Roy, however, for explaining to Jerry Nadler the essence of the Second Amendment in a very healthy way.  Suppose the authorities aren’t following the American Constitution and are seeking to impose some mandate upon me with a threat of violence. In that case, it’s time to turn to the Second Amendment for justice without a second thought.  Anybody not following the Constitution in any government is violating the agreement we all make under it.  At that point, it may be time for guns to blaze in defense of order and freedom. Compliance with tyrants and unjustified Upper Magistrates is not expected.  We aren’t even supposed to surrender our rights and to sort it out in court.  The point to deal with the conflict is at the point of the crime.  So in that way, I support our government and expect the Lesser Magistrates within the structure of federalism to push back against central authority whenever needed.  But if they don’t, I have my way of fighting tyranny, and it wouldn’t be a second thought for me. I’ve been on edge over this issue now for almost two years and am always a fraction of a second away from my unique way of saying no to tyranny.  Thank goodness for the Lesser Magistrates, though, that hasn’t happened yet.

The Nature of Power: 35% of voters want to overturn the 2020 election

The Nature of Power

Probably the most misunderstood thing in the world is the nature of power and how you know you have it, and others recognize that you do.  This came to my mind for several reasons, most notably the discussion on the Steve Bannon Warroom podcast recently where it was revealed that 30% of all registered voters want to see the 2020 election overturned.   From my perspective, I feel the United States moved in a new and healthy direction during the last week of October 2021.  Not through our political system, that is a disaster, but I feel that the right people see what’s going on and that Democrats are ruining their brand forever by what they are doing now.  When I heard that 30% number, it caught my attention because I understand power I have and want to share with people.  It is, after all, one of the big themes in my recent book, The Gunfighter’s Guide to Business, who really has power and what can be done with it.  Most everyone gets their understanding of power wrong.  It’s not their fault; it’s just the way we teach ourselves.  Much of the world has sought to mask that misunderstanding by making power a process and not an intellectual attribute, leaving many wholly lost about the nature of power.  It’s not in Democracy, the opinions of the masses that power is acquired, which is the current strategy of globalists, Big Tech, political parties, communist countries, every villain you can think of.  They seek to gain power by a recognized title, saying that Dr. Fauci is powerful because he’s at the front of the NIH and is the highest-paid government employee in America.  But in reality, he’s just a sniveling lier who could be crushed about as quickly as we might swat a fly.  In Dr. Fauci’s case, the power is an accepted system, whereas the real power comes from other measures.

I often use the example in my book of The Lonely Stranger, who steps into a saloon in the Wild West and moves through a room full of desperate people, prostitutes, gamblers, cutthroats, swindlers, rustlers, robbers, and dealmakers.  The music stops when they enter and step to the bar for a drink with their back to the room.  All the power in the world is in this lonely stranger because the room’s contents are moved to action by the new presence.  Some are thinking about how they might kill the stranger and take all he has.  Others wonder if there is some secret knowledge the stranger has that might enrich the lives of those so desperate.  Perhaps a friendship would be profitable.  Prostitutes might hope for an easy new customer.  Everyone looks at the stranger and wonders who they are and what benefit they might be to the desperate. It’s a classic western theme that was developed in American culture and is unique in the world.  The power, of course, is entirely in the hands of the lonely stranger at the bar, making the room guess how the stranger’s life might benefit them.  Either through crime, friendship, lust, or even intoxication.  Power is when others are moved to action by some instigator.  Understanding that and then manipulating those around the room to your objectives is how good strategy is evoked and utilized correctly.

Most people in the world want to step into a saloon-like that and be liked by the participants.  In so doing, instantly, all their power is given to the mob, and they lose any leadership prospect.  Leadership is not understood even by those who naturally possess it.  Leadership is in knowing how to use power to move the masses to the desired effect.  A good leader can make the people in the saloon do anything they want, and it doesn’t matter if it’s 100 people or 1 billion people.  The saloon can be as big as you want it to be; people always behave the same for the same reasons no matter what culture we are dealing with.  The leverage always goes to the lonely, unknown stranger alone at the bar with their back to the room until they give away that power by showing a desire for friendship.  Once that weakness is revealed, then the lonely stranger becomes another member of some peer group.  They may influence that peer group, but not the rest of the room.  As a great CEO, Trump came into the presidency understanding this trait of leadership. That’s how the MAGA movement happened and how Trump was even able to control the flow of the media.  They may have hated him, but he had power over them, just like those who wanted to kill the lonely stranger plotted and schemed in the corners behind layers of cigar smoke in how to end the stranger’s life.  So long as the stranger understands what’s going on, he can make it work to his advantage.

But it’s a lonely realization, leadership.  And we are taught as little kids, and throughout our lives, that friendship is the most important thing.  So we walk into these rooms full of people and seek friendship, not the naturally associated power with our independence.  We all have tremendous power until we give it away under some assumption of winning the hearts of our attempted murders or the schemes of the whores, and gamblers with friendship.  If we just stayed at the bar with our back to the room, letting the various elements simmer on their thoughts, we would maintain power over all of them.  In such a way, one person can influence through leadership many hundreds of people.  Or perhaps thousands.  That is why it was significant to hear that 30% of all people supported turning over the election.  That is way more people than are needed to change society.  A considerable revolution could occur with influential leaders under 5%, which is essentially how the Democrats have made this current power play.  They are playing by the wrong rules and have made several fatal mistakes, and those mistakes are blowing up in their faces as I write this.  President Trump has maintained that 30% during his entire presidency and before and after because those people make up the lonely, stranger aspect of the saloon inhabitants.  And they haven’t turned to the room for friendship but have remained with their back to it, cooly sipping on their drinks and watching all the desperate faces from under the brim of their hat in a mirror hanging behind the bar to show the room and its cutthroats in all its glory.  And that’s more than we need to win the war and the world, which I find very encouraging.  When you understand leadership and how it works, you can then know that the modern political methods of acquiring power, whether Facebook, Twitter, or the Deep State, are all wrong because they seek friendship as their means of manipulation and the schemes of Democracy.  But that’s not how power works, and they are learning all too late that everything they have built their life around has been false, and they will fail as sure as you are reading this, which has presented them with a crisis many of them were never prepared for, and it’s to our benefit to exploit.

The Importance of Freedom: Why Joe Biden and other progressives are so dangerous to a productive life

Freedom is the Most Important Thing

Yeah, the video for this article is a bit dark, it was early in the morning, and it was raining heavily at times.  But it was my open window to do that kind of thing, so I made the best of it.  Yet, I have been hoping for these kinds of topics in many ways because I’ve been thinking about them for a very long time.  So much so that the issues of my latest book, The Gunfighter’s Guide to Business, is all about them.  If Joe Biden had not come along, many of these topics might have stayed in obscurity because the need to flesh them out into the open would have never occurred.  But in this case, when Joe Biden continues to rail against “freedom” and suggest that “safety” is our primary concern, he is proving a point I have long been making.  And for that, I am grateful.  So no matter how much rain and lack of light there was, I couldn’t wait to get my thoughts out on the matter to clarify some things that many of us feel but never can quite articulate.  I would say that it’s probably one of the most important things we learn as human beings, that delicate balance between safety and risk and how few people learn to manage that balance throughout a long life.  But for those who do economic activity flourishes, precisely this trait that all the philosophers from previous centuries never quite figured out.  But the American experiment brought them forth, and we can see them most obviously in the creation of amusement parks.

As human beings, we have a natural lust for risk, and as intelligent creatures, we also want to control risk.  So we created roller coasters which are simulated dangers that we can pretty much assure ourselves will be completely safe.  We want to feel the threat of a roller coaster, but we don’t want to die while experiencing it.  I would call that in my book the management of human needs.  All good management considers those needs in humans and specifies a work culture to their full utilization.  A workforce that feels it can risk thoughts and ideas without the danger of losing their job is critical to innovation.  Cultures that have too many rules and regulations hinder this and create an oppressive, unsatisfactory work experience.  This is the case in every business and is undoubtedly the problem of every government.  We had a very risk-obsessed administration in Trump, which many of us liked because it turned on the gears to a productive economy; people felt safe to take risks and do what it takes to move and create money.  Now we have a very safety-oriented administration with too many rules and regulations that stifle creativity and work ambition, slowing the economy down predictably.

In my book, The Gunfighter’s Guide to Business, I obsess over why people do work, which goes well beyond the financial rewards.  People work, but not just because they want to pay their rent or car payment.  For people who understand good management, people want more from their work than just financial payment.  This is often the great mystery of a good football team with many players equally strong and as fast as other players.  But a good coach and organization have figured out a way to align all those minds toward the joy of a victory.  Good management helps share the victory with every team member, which is the essence of what leadership is all about.  Good leadership is one of the least understood elements of all philosophy and the various political elements that have formed over the entire span of the human race.  Yet, in America, by removing all the previous static cultures of oppressive government, whether, from the church or some king, we discovered a lot about humans, which erupted into the most explosive economy in the world during the shortest period.

The Biden administration desires to return to the safety and security of big government-driven by monarchs and emperors.  Most left-leaning people are the type of people who are averse to risk and seek security and protection by some form of organization or government.  It’s not an accident that people who work for large corporations tend to vote for Democrats because the corporate culture is often stifling to creativity and innovation, trading risk for security.  All the poor little children who grow up with panicky parents teaching them to be afraid of lightning, rain and make their kids wear bicycle helmets just for riding down the sidewalk are, without knowing it, killing their children’s ability to think for themselves and live a life of embracing risk without destroying their lives.  A life without risk is a life that is essentially dead, and that is what we see out of the Biden economy.  Those most uncomfortable with risk are now in charge and imposing a boring life of too much regulation and caution on the rest of society.  Covid rules have only hindered that trend more by even taking away the illusion of some danger in life.  That could be compared to going to an amusement park to find all the roller coasters closed, but that you could stand in line for them.  People wouldn’t choose to do that if there was no reward for standing in line, leaving the amusement park losing a lot of money in attendance.  If people don’t believe their work will give them something tangible, some level of satisfaction, they are less inclined to participate.  They might go through the motions to get their paycheck, but they will do no more if they don’t feel connected to risk and victory.

I argue in The Gunfighter’s Guide to Business that many people will do just about anything for the mere opportunity to gain treasure and a taste of victory.  That trait propelled our economy into the greatness we have achieved so far, so it is not surprising that the moment that risk is taken away from our society and safety is over-emphasized, declines in productivity would be evident to all.  Economic stagnation happens when the thrill of doing work is lost, and a job becomes a means to paying for one’s obligations in life. It’s the freedom to choose risk over safety that all humans crave, but few ever realize the key to their happiness.  A happy society finds a balance between safety and risk.  Yet when safety is used to stifle risk, then bad things happen.  This is why all socialist and communist countries have failed and will always fail.  Organizations, whether they are companies, or governments fail to understand that leadership is best when they organize a team toward risk to realize rewards.  But when leadership is ignored, and safety is over-emphasized, the result is collective paralysis.  Then it cannot be a surprise when economic activity moves into a dormant state, with shipping containers sitting around waiting to be unloaded, people not participating in the workforce, and everything else slows down in a supply chain.  When work is burdened with too much safety and regulation, people check out and put their minds where there are fewer limits on them.  And that is a natural reaction in all human beings.  Some people are comfortable with risk; some can’t handle it at all.  But it is along these lines, not in politics, that all people find themselves either happy or unhappy with the conditions of their world.   Therefore, what matters most in the world is that people have the freedom to pick their fate because the world as a whole depends on the results of the few risk-takers who propel all society forward into innovation and goodness.

Dr. Fauci is the Most Dangerous Criminal in the World: Yet, our corrupt government wants you to believe its Steve Bannon

Arrest Dr. Fauci

The rules haven’t changed; the release of the Covid-19 virus and its creation in a Wuhan lab is the biggest story in the entire world and its role in election fraud in the United States.  There was nothing more criminal than that story, which, if you believe the Covid death counts used to panic everyone into giving up their freedoms and bending the knee to the virus, actually killed a lot of people.  That makes Dr. Fauci’s lying to congress about the NIH funding of gain of function the most important story of this century.  What role did Dr. Fauci play in creating a bat coronavirus into something excessively transmissible to humans so that a pandemic could be inspired from it?  Who knew what, and when did they know it?  Without question, this is the biggest cover-up involving the most government employees that we have ever had to deal with.  Ohio Governor Mike DeWine asked for emergency powers a year before coronavirus was released from China, so people knew what was coming.  Who was there?  What role did they play?  And who paid for it all?  There aren’t more critical questions than those in the entire world, and really, nothing else should happen until those questions are answered.  Yet on the same day that the NIH revealed that Dr. Fauci had perjured himself to congress on this Covid issue, the same congress that impeached President Trump twice over made-up charges voted to hold Steve Bannon, the former aide to Trump, in contempt of congress for not appearing for testimony on their bogus January 6th commission.  While Dr. Fauci is running around free, Steve Bannon is now a fugitive of the law under the mercy of the Biden administration Department of Justice.  What world do we live in where discrepancies of the law happen like this, which are so obvious, yet accepted as reality?

I can certainly understand the Bannon situation.  He has one of the top podcasts globally that has better ratings than much of the mainstream media daily, and he keeps talking about the election fraud that occurred in the 2020 election. Congress wants desperately to shut him up.  Their role in that election fraud is a subject they want to bury, and Steve won’t let them.  At this point, the Great Reset was supposed to be well underway, and people were not supposed to be thinking about President Trump.  Biden’s America was already supposed to be full socialist, and the demise of our country was well down the path of no return.  People like Steve Bannon were not supposed to have power and influence still, so congress has come up with this phony January 6th commission to try and put everyone’s attention onto the protests of Trump supporters instead of the election fraud they were angered by.   The guilt that much of congress played in accepting election fraud in the 2020 election because it favored them is an issue that must be dealt with.  But that question falls behind the importance of the origins of coronavirus because it had an impact on all people everywhere and assaulted our global economy in ways nobody previously thought possible.  Not only do we have significant casualties from the created pandemic, but many lives have been ruined physically and financially.  How many people out there still can’t taste their food because our bodies never were meant to host a coronavirus that was only transmissible to bats before they altered that trait in a Wuhan lab under NIH funding?

Just for lying to congress, Dr. Fauci should be in jail.  And that is before we understand the role he played in the gain of function research with the bat virus and his relationship with China in launching it into the world.  It may have been an accident.  China may have stolen NIH work and used it to make a bioweapon to destroy the Trump economy to get rid of him at the voting booth.  But then again, can we trust anything Fauci has said.  He has been caught lying many times.  And to get to the straight story, it will have to start with him.  What role did he play in the creation and unleashing of Covid-19?   And what preplanning occurred before its creation? Did he participate with Bill Gates and many others to apply climate change politics to creating the virus to turn health administrators into political dictators?  Such as why was the gain of function research started once again in 2017 after Trump was inaugurated as President when during the Obama years it was stopped?  Hmmmmm?  Questions, questions, questions.

Instead, we are supposed to think of Steve Bannon as the number one fugitive in America.  Steve Bannon, the private citizen who supported the President and has a successful podcast.  What role could he have had to inspire an insurrection on January 6th, 2021?  The question is, was January 6th even an insurrection?  Or was it a protest to the attempted insurrection of changing our entire way of life with Covid-19?  Who created an insurrection, the government who tampered with a bat virus to terrorize people into accepting United Nations climate change policies and wreck the lives of millions of people around the world?  Or Trump supporters who were hoping that the election results would be questioned properly on January 6th, but the government again didn’t listen to them and rubber-stamped the fraud anyway.  The big criminals, Facebook, Twitter, Google, and others, openly coordinated with the government to censor Covid information that might have treated people with hydroxychloroquine and other medicines that could have contained the virus.  Instead, we found out that the Big Tech companies wanted to use the virus to change the nature of the global economy.  And they also funded the election fraud of the American 2020 election as outlined so very well in the Molly Hemingway book, Rigged.  We have evidence of all this activity by big tech and government.  People saw for themselves what was going on.  It wasn’t Steve Bannon who made anybody do anything.  It was anger at what they saw from their government that caused the protest of January 6th.  Steve Bannon was just another observer using the First Amendment to express his opinion.  So was Trump, for that matter.  The crime was in the lap of Dr. Fauci, who was at the head of the entire mess, including what the Big Tech attackers were doing.

Yes, this is the crime of the century.  It happened in China working with our government.  But worse than the crime is the cover-up, which this Congress and DOJ are actively still participating in.  And who could blame them?  They will deny, deny, and deny until they can’t any longer.  Getting to the bottom of it will take citizen journalism to get there because the mainstreamers are in on the whole thing.  They are compromised.  Notice that you don’t hear much about Molly Hemmingway’s new book, which should be the biggest seller of the year because of its content.  No, this is a significant crime, and it will take the people of America to retake their government starting with the obvious questions, who, what, why, when, and where.

We know Dr. Fauci was the who.  We know coronavirus was the what.  We know it happened right after Event 201 in New York, where the whole Covid-19 plan was role-played in front of many people, sponsored by the Gates Foundation.  And we know where it was at the Wuhan lab in China.  What we don’t know is the “why.”  Why did they do it, and why are they working so hard to cover it up.  If it were indeed an accident, somebody likely would have apologized by now.  That would mean that the intention was malicious, like many of us suspect.  And the answer to that question has to come from Dr. Fauci himself, perhaps by torture facing harsh prison sentencing.  He’s an older man, so life in jail won’t mean much to him.  We’ll have to get the truth out of him by some other method.  But then again, the people who are supposed to uphold justice were in on it.   So we have some work to do.  Dr. Fauci is the most dangerous criminal in the world.  Steve Bannon is just a guy asking questions that always should be answered.  And that they think Bannon is the dangerous one tells you everything you need to know.  When the truth is dangerous, you know what kind of world you are living in.

Biden’s Economic Policies Are Made for the Lazy, and Stupid: Welcome to Bernie Sanders’ European Socialism

Socialists are Lazy and now they Feel they have Power

As long as Democrats adopted progressivism to hide their racism losses from the Civil War, there has always been a craving jealousy toward European socialism.  Liberals love how Europe is, they love the long history of aristocracy and religious tyranny, and they love the mask of laziness that comes with that culture.  The dirty little secret is that Democrats are lazy. Their political affiliation toward Europe hides that from the world and uses government as the mask to society.  To make their laziness a political and religious right, not a stigma from the hard-working Americans who might otherwise look down their noses at them.  During the week of October 18th, 2021, supply chains were coming to a slowing stop all over America because of White House policies that directly influenced the flow of commerce throughout the nation.  This was similar to the current progressive arguments by teacher union complaints I have heard over many years. I’ve argued for a long time that teachers in these public schools are not these great bastions of wonder that we made them out to be.  During the Covid shutdowns, we learned what they were teaching our kids in government schools.  Whoever thought that the government, the same government trying to steal power wherever they can get it, should be in charge of teaching our kids anything?  That was a stupid idea from the outset.  But these teachers, mostly progressive in their political leanings, loving European-style socialism where the workday is short, and the pay is ridiculously high, have been projecting this attitude for decades.  And now, under the Biden administration, their ostentatious meanderings of lazy behavior have swept over all of America’s economic activity, and people don’t like it.

You could hear the frustration in Peppermint Patty’s voice when she mocked during a White House briefing the shame it would be if people couldn’t get their “treadmill” in time.  Socialists everywhere you can find are lazy and don’t want the pressure of expectation driven by market need.  They want to control that market need with artificial rules and regulations that slow the world down to their lazy banter. Teachers’ unions have been doing this for many decades, and the results are apparent.  Now, with the Biden administration fully embracing European-style socialism and speaking well of Chinese communism, the socialists in America have felt where the wind is coming from, and they have shown their cards perhaps too fast.  And when pressed, people like Jen Psaki have to show their frustration that Americans expect results in their activity; laziness will not be tolerated.  You can see the socialist Biden economy everywhere; the lines at the drive-thru at McDonald’s are much longer.  Fast food isn’t so fast these days.  If you break down on the side of the road and call for help to change a tire or a battery in your car, the wait time is no longer 30 minutes.  It’s an hour and a half.  You call a supplier for that special something that only they make and suddenly their lead time is six weeks instead of 3 days.  Why? Because they are short-staffed.  The Biden administration has empowered socialists in America trained that way by our public education system to sit around smoking pot all day hoping for a “universal wage” living off the federal dime.  They don’t want to work, so nobody is there to work when we need something.

And in answer to these criticisms, progressives like Jen Psaki can only tell us to lower our expectations. Don’t expect so much.  Well, I’ve heard that before in public schools with the teachers.  And now we listen to it everywhere.  Now we can all see what was really behind Covid and the supposed “Great Reset.” We were supposed to surrender our expectations of performance, of fast food, fast hardware stores, plentiful groceries where everything you can think to need would always be there fresh and ready.  And that for the sake of safety and government security, we were supposed to get used to waiting in gas lines, for food, and virtually everything else.  If you’ve ever traveled in Europe, you will recognize quickly what is happening in America.  A European will tell you to relax, to take your time. They’ll say, “what’s the hurry?” You don’t get quick service in European restaurants.  You don’t tip there, so the workers seldom do anything extra to earn more money, so service is generally poor everywhere.  But with the social safety nets of European countries, there isn’t much inspiration for getting a job and working your way to the top because they cut off the top.  Most people can never hope to have more than an apartment flat and a rinky-dink stupid little car that looks like everyone else.  With that being all they ever get to have by socialist governments, they have no desire to work as we see in America.  In America, the hope is to have a cool car or a big house and a family to go in it.  But under socialism, they want to destroy the family, destroy the expectation of labor, and convince everyone to take their breadcrumbs and live happily ever after in the virtual world of online gaming.

Of course, that’s not how they sold their administration to people, what they would be getting with Joe Biden.  Americans wouldn’t have accepted it, even many Democrats.  But this isn’t Joe Biden who started all this; he was just the insert to dance to the strings of progressives to make it happen.  Instead, it was the Bernie Sanders wing of the Democrat party, which is now in power, who have been selling this European socialism approach for a long time, and it is here now as advertised.  People don’t like it, but it’s not as if they didn’t tell us what they wanted to do.  Many people didn’t listen.  Yet now everyone can see the trend and what the expectations are.  Socialists have always been lazy; Karl Marx was lazy.  Those who adopt socialism and communism are lazy and power-hungry, which usually don’t go together.  But they want the power to hide their laziness from the judgments of the world, and that is the essence of their gig.  They don’t like to work.  They don’t want to work.  And they want to bend the world around their tendencies toward laziness and remove the stigma they might otherwise suffer under the expectations of Americans.  They hope to have power and a lack of expectation to do much in their lives by instilling government-sanctioned laziness.  And within just a few months, we can see the effect of this attitude in everything, including the delivery of treadmills.  As shipping containers stack up and lines at McDonald’s get longer, we know who to blame for it.  Democrats tampered with our free market system by screwing around with pay incentives, regulatory burdens, and work goals as an incentive to do more each day than has been set by the low bar of government, and the results have arrived.  This is the America that Democrats have always wanted but have hidden from the public behind the unasked questions.  Yet, here it is.  Do you like it?

Looking for Justin Nix: The Sheriff is looking for you, lets get this thing resolved

(An update to this story, shortly after the Sheriff made this announcement many 911 calls came in and Justin was picked up in Hamilton on a drug charge. Nice job, and this holds true in Butler County especially, no drugs, no killings, and no other crimes similar in nature. If you see something, say something. And remember, Ohio has Stand your Ground laws now. Keep your neighborhoods safe from criminals.) Its unfortunate that there was a homicide in Hanover Township. Sheriff Jones and the team are trying to get everything figured out. Justin Nix or someone who knows him needs to help out.

Failure is Not an Option in America: The Biden administration does not represent our way of life

Biden Tampering and its Costs

My idea of a nice night out would be in the Big Texan Steak House in Amarillo, Texas. I’ve had dinner in some of the finest restaurants in the world, including Chef Ramsey’s premier restaurant in London. I’ve dined in Paris and other exotic places, but what I expect out of service, and this will continue, is the way Americana is on full display at the Big Texan in Amarillo, Texas.  I say that because, under the radical left-leaning communists of this insurgent Biden administration, the trend is to go Europe where some unshaved armpit of a woman gradually gets around to taking your order looking like a tattooed pin cushion from the movie Hellraiser.  As an American, I can promise I will never lower my expectations as the Biden people want and accept failure as an option on anything.  Certainly not food and not work effort.  America is not Europe, thankfully, where they don’t work hard often enough for anything.  In America, it should be expected in my mind to work all you can as much as is needed to do the job at hand, no excuses.  And with that in mind, the supply chain problems that are a direct cause of the Biden administration are not going to cut the cheese.  I expect what you get from any American company at the Big Texan and not the café in Paris.  I don’t care about the history as much as I care about the results.

So it goes with the Biden vaccine mandates that the tampering of American workforces by the government has already had disastrous results.  I think many of the Marxists in the Democrat party like the results they are seeing.  They love to stop the machine of the world.  I told everyone when Covid first happened that it was like a Pearl Harbor attack from the greenie weenies.  It was never about the virus; it was always about stopping the American economy so that China could catch up or pull ahead.  And the Biden administration is practically stating in blinking lights that they want to help China accomplish that task by continuing to harm the American economy any way they can.  When the gay guy Pete Buttigieg takes on an important job, he is irresponsible to take a few months off for maternity leave.  His dude at home can take care of the baby. He’s Secretary of Transportation, an important job.  You can’t take a few months off if you have an essential job to do. That’s his responsibility to manage his personal affairs so that a job can get done.  But since he’s doing it, his subordinates will do it, and soon nobody is showing up for work, and everyone is taking off for maternity leave, and for Covid and nobody is doing any work.

That is the reason that container ships are not getting unloaded and are stacking up on the coasts.  There aren’t enough workers to do the work, and the attitude by the big-government types is more European than American. I’ve been all over Europe, and their attitude is always, “what’s the rush.  Take your time.” Every time someone around the world says that to me, it boils my blood.  It’s yet another reason I wrote the book, The Gunfighter’s Guide to Business. I’m all about speed and accuracy and getting it done yesterday.  Not whenever someone takes a notion to finish.  Like at the Big Texan, they don’t make you wait forever for your big plate of food served to you by a girl with painted-on jeans and a cowboy hat with a smile on her face.  They get it to you fast and with more food than you could hope to eat.  They work hard to earn a tip.  In Europe, they give it to you when they get around to it, and what they give you is the smallest portion they can get by with, and you even have to ask for ice in your drinks.  Europe has been destroyed with the poison of laziness, and now these progressive losers in the Biden White House want to sell us the same load of crap in America.  Pete takes off for a baby that he biologically can never have with a marriage that most of the nation doesn’t even recognize because marriage is between a man and a woman. We’re supposed to put up with this lazy approach to transportation.

Then to show how stupid they are, beyond their deliberate attacks of capitalism, they lecture us about working the third shift and driving trucks at night when there is less traffic, without ever dealing with the real problems.  The trucks are waiting to pick up commerce at these ports, but the boats aren’t getting unloaded.  People aren’t working three shifts per day, seven days per week.  They take off for every little Covid protocol and take extended paternity leaves to take care of babies when their spouse should be tag-teaming the responsibility.  Everyone is taking advantage of these new progressive rules that are too European from this new administration, and the result is work stoppages.  I come from a background where I worked two full-time jobs throughout the week, and my wife and I had a paper route on the weekends to make ends meet so that she could stay home with our kids.  We managed our life and did what we had to do to make money, and I expect people to do the same.  I have no sympathy for someone like Mayor Pete, who takes off a few months to look at a baby sucking on a pacifier.  If you accept an essential job, do the critical job.

So when people wonder why we have supply chain problems, it’s because of the fault of the Biden administration.  When he was president, Trump went through an actual shutdown of the entire economy, but somehow the shelves still got stocked.    What changed was that this new, insurgent administration has set labor policy in the fashion of European socialists and communists.  People show up for work when they decide to and take every leave of absence the government gives them an excuse to take.  And the net result is that labor shortages are erupting everywhere.  Most notably recently, the vaccine mandate is pushing people out of the workforce and back into their homes.  I think that’s not a bad idea for the long term.  Much like Covid destroyed the cycle of public schools sending many kids back into the home for their educations, I think we may very well see a return of the housewife in America due to all these government intrusions.  That would help a lot of things.  But in an economy that is counting on every adult to be in the workplace, we will see a significant recession in workplace participation as a result, and the government has only itself to blame.  Speaking for myself, I am not going to accept lackluster performance from anybody in America.  I expect the Big Texan, not some European approach that is slow and ineffective.  Yet, what the Biden administration is selling is a loser mindset.  They are slow, lazy, and looking for reasons not to do work.  That is the administration’s projection, so it is directly their fault that our supply chains have many problems.

Lori’s Roadhouse in West Chester: Mark Welch, the Superstar of Politics

Government is Best when it Gets out of the Way

As I listened to Mark Welch speak at a special fundraiser preview event at the new honky-tonk in West Chester called Lori’s Roadhouse, I couldn’t help but think that government is good, at least in West Chester.  When I say honky-tonk, I’m not talking about the old days of Gilley’s in Pasadena, Texas, where Urban Cowboy took place.  This place in West Chester is more like the modern Gilley’s in Las Vegas, very nicely put together luxuriously.  There is nothing cheap about it; it’s an ample space to host very large national talent for concerts. It’s something special for the Cincinnati area, and it’s great to see it located in West Chester, Ohio.  It’s not by accident.  The endeavor is a combination of great government that pushed out of the way as much nonsense as possible so that the dream of Greg and Lori Fisher could put all their great efforts into creating such a wonderful venue. I’ve been to places like Lori’s Roadhouse in parts of the country far away from Cincinnati.  But the moment I stepped into Mark’s fundraiser and saw what the owners were up to, I was enchanted.  There wasn’t a better way to show why Mark Welch should be re-elected as trustee of West Chester.  It’s not so much what an elected official can do for a project like Lori’s Roadhouse, but what kind of nonsense Mark can remove from the Fishers to let their creative input do the great work of creating such a wonderful place.

Mark Welch and one of the owners, Lori Fisher herself

I view business as a creative enterprise, and I deeply respect people who go out on a limb and build new things that contribute to an economy.  Something like Lori’s Roadhouse is one of those things that adds to the many other things there are to do in West Chester.  There are so many options, and a lot of the reason is that the government has been small enough not to crush the hopes and dreams of entrepreneurs along the way.  It is hard enough to come up with an idea and then fund it with seed money.  It’s quite another to deal with politicians and other bureaucrats who embed themselves into the system to make a molehill of regulation into mountains for their benefit.  Usually, projects like Lori’s Roadhouse would be crushed before a business plan could ever be conducted because of politics.  I can think of hundreds, if not thousands of places around the country where a place like Lori’s Roadhouse would do well.  But, the politics of those areas would prohibit the dream from becoming a reality.

Mark Welch and his wife Karen
Mark Welch doing what he does, being a celebrity politician

I had a chance to talk to Lori and her husband Greg Fisher quite a lot which was nice.  It was busy at the fundraiser, and I wasn’t sure if I’d get the chance.  As it turned out, Lori is the perfect front lady for such a place. She’s very friendly and optimistic, a fun personality which a place like that needs.  She told me she usually likes to work behind the scenes, but I can see why her name is on the place.  It deserves to have her name on the place.  Then there is her husband Greg, who had just spent months and months working out every little detail of this spectacular venue.  The food was great.  The bar was full.  The bathrooms are designed to still look good after lots and lots of drinking.  There is plenty of space for the men and women to have their dignity and get back to the action of live country music, a sports bar setting in much of the place, but a vast stage and dance hall area complete with VIP booths.  It was all top class, and the acoustics were fabulous as personally supervised by Greg.  As he ran down the list of all the elements of the place, it was apparent, he had a genuine love for the work, and I was happy to see it. That’s where someone like Mark Welch comes into these kinds of things.  Mark had worked in the background ever so subtly to help take away the burden of government from the Fishers so they could focus on the important stuff. Like securing the millions of dollars a place like that would cost and building a reputation that would bring in the big acts from all over the country.  A modern Gilley’s, but I would say better and with more class.  Something specific to West Chester.

Lori and her Husband Greg Fisher, a dream come true in West Chester

TC Rogers was there; he is one of the commissioners of Butler County, where some of the legacy zoning issues made the project hard to get moving.  But at least West Chester didn’t do as other places do and compound the problem.  There were a lot of big-name politicians at Mark’s event, which was a good way to open a good American testament to goodness that Lori’s Roadhouse was offering.  It was undoubtedly a place anybody could enjoy, but country music, big leather boots, and cowboy hats draw a certain kind of political flavor, and it was on full display.  I had just returned from Jackson, Wyoming, where they have a similar high-class flair to their country background.  They have some very classy honky-tonk types of places there, but Lori’s Roadhouse was far better.  It looked and felt like something right out of Music City, Nashville.  It was unapologetically American for sure.  It had the kind of swagger that I had just been bragging about that I saw at a Cody, Wyoming rodeo.  They were similar in their boot-kicking display of Americana and a tip of the cowboy hat to great family tradition.

Lori’s Roadhouse in West Chester, a super cool place of Americana and family friendly entertainment
Mark Welch Gets It! No Income Tax!!!!!

The community will have an option not just for the concerts but for a place to stop by after work, have a few drinks, and talk to people in the community; Lori’s Roadhouse will be a real treasure.  It’s not fair to give Mark so much credit because the Fishers did all the work along with their crews.  But I have to give Mark and the trustees credit for not getting in the way, and Mark specifically for helping where he could make the process of dealing with the government not such a challenging endeavor.  I had to smile a bit to myself as I listened to Greg and Lori talk about their new place because I have heard so many hundreds of stories over the years from people who never get things like this launched into reality.  And they had managed to do it. Usually, what ends up happening is the life gets sucked out of a project like this by all the rules and regulations of government.  It’s not often where a dream comes close to the original vision, and in the case of Lori’s Roadhouse, it’s easy to see the dream of the owners as they intended it to be, and that is the result of good government that knows when to help and when to get out of the way.  Often the skill of politicians is in knowing when not to be part of the problem, but in being part of the solution.  And when they figure that much out, great things like Lori’s Roadhouse happens.  And I am very excited about the results.

The Progressive Labor Union, LEA endorses Trent Emeneker: Hoping to slide a liberal under the door for West Chester Trustee

The LEA Endorses Trent Emeneker

At this point, it’s pretty well known that the challenger for the West Chester trustee seat in Butler County, Ohio, Trent Emeneker, is not a conservative.  He has stated that he’s a registered Republican. Still, much of what he talks about, like wanting to turn West Chester into a big bureaucratic city full of city council positions and other nonsense, is excessively liberal.  It didn’t help that he did a meet and greet at Liberty Center’s AC Hotel hosted by an activist Democrat.  So Trent has loads of problems even before a single-yard sign was ever put into the ground.  But as if all that were not enough, the LEA (Lakota Education Association) has endorsed Trent, which is essentially the kiss of death in Butler County.  The LEA, of course, is the ultra-progressive labor union that runs the Lakota school system.  They work under the umbrella of the Ohio Education Association, and ultimately the National Education Association, which everyone knows by now are essentially PAC groups for Democrats and the advancement of progressive causes.  Those not sure what progressive causes are responsible for should know that they are encouraging sex education in early grade school and transsexual bathrooms.  I would go as far as to say that it is an evil organization of radical politics intent on the destruction of the United States.  But judge for yourself.  What matters is that they have endorsed Trent Emeneker and hope to squeak him under the door in an off-year race that typically has low voter turnout.

There is nothing good that comes out of the LEA.  They essentially protect bad teachers from being fired and lobby to pay them too much money to do it.  They are wholly committed to the destruction of America as we know it.  They collect money from their union dues and apply it directly to Democrats nationwide.  If you can think of something terrible about government schools, and I can think of a lot, the root cause of the trouble goes back to teacher unions, especially the NEA.  So long as they exist and have a footprint of any kind in our schools with our children, there is no hope of making those schools better.  People understand that more now than they did even a few years ago.  At Lakota, there is an opportunity to vote for new school board members to replace the current ones, which might stand against these teacher unions better than we’ve had in the past.  Usually, there is no defense on the school board.  The LEA essentially runs everything, including putting their candidates on the board as they are trying again this year with Kelley Casper, Michael Pearl, and Doug Horton.  There are finally options this year with actual Republican endorsed candidates.  Many people are running, so voter turnout will have to be high to defeat the incumbent’s LEA has also endorsed.  So we’ll see if voters take advantage of this opportunity with great voter turnout on election day, November 2nd.

The LEA endorses Trent Emeneker for West Chester Trustee

It is just that kind of low voter turnout that the LEA hopes push the liberal Trent Emeneker into a West Chester Trustee seat.  They usually have their activists who always show up to vote and preserve their intent to destroy America.  So Republican voters will have to show up and defend themselves to keep that from happening.  But as to Trent’s intent, there is no doubt about it now that the LEA has endorsed him on their web page.  When you have the LEA behind you, you know that a vast evil is not far behind.  Everything the LEA does is rooted in some destruction for the American way of life and the families that make the country great.  Behind all teacher union activities are actions intended to attack family and its institution to a progressive need.  Suppose there are members of the LEA who call themselves Republicans and just go along for the great six-figure paycheck at Lakota. In that case, they are doing like all RINOs do, help evil get a foothold into our lives with the death whisper of compliance which is silently killing our country as we speak.  Those teachers in the LEA are just as bad as the purple-headed progressives advocating gay rights, critical race theory, and globalism by saying nothing and letting evil have its way in the world.

Trent has tried to sell himself as an old military guy hoping that blind allegiance to service might make people ignore his obvious liberalism.  His biggest complaint about the current West Chester trustees is spending a few million dollars on landscaping for the new Union Center exchange.  He considers that fiscal irresponsibility.  Yet West Chester is operating in the black, which is how it should be, and considering the amount of GDP produced at that highway exit, the landscaping costs are easily justified.  Oddly enough, at a recent debate where Trent tried to make an issue of this cost, it was Lee Wong who best slapped him down for it.  Now everyone knows I’m not a huge Lee Wong fan, one of the current trustees.  But next to Trent Emeneker, Lee sounds like Donald Trump.  Lee explained well the need for the landscaping in a very Trump-like way.  Union Center in West Chester is one of the premier spots in the entire country for economic activity.  I would put the GDP moving through that exit among the top in the country.  There is nothing wrong with having some nice flowers there to greet the mass commerce that occurs.   Of course, nobody talks about that the LEA is against all capitalist activity as they are socialists and communists in their origins.  They are “the vote red for ed” types. The red is the red flag of communism, so for Trent to attack a few flowers when Lakota is bleeding hundreds of millions of dollars into these LEA employees advocating against family values, small government ideas, and the promotion of the religion of climate change, Trent proves he’s just a stooge for the LEA liberalism and not interested in fiscal responsibility.  If he indeed were, the LEA would never endorse him because all they want is a run-away wallet with no limit on the credit card.

So remember as you vote that the LEA endorsed Trent Emeneker.  I don’t think it will change anything.  The same several thousand people who will vote to keep the current big spenders on the Lakota school board will vote for Trent as a trustee.  But there are a lot more Republicans in Butler County than Democrats.  It will all come down to voter turnout.  If you don’t want to see more LEA liberalism contaminating our community, then be sure to get out on election night and vote. Don’t just show up and vote for Trump or the mid-terms.  Vote now and for the same reasons, defend your turf from these radical progressives and their plans of doom for our children.  And know when you vote that Trent Emeneker is one of them.  The LEA does not endorse Republicans, not real ones.  They are out to destroy conservative politics so they would never put their name next to anybody who won’t help them do just that.  Trent is a big government guy, which is why they want him.  But, if you show up to vote, you can stop their plans.  So, could you not take it for granted?  The time for action is coming up; make sure you are part of the solution.

The Case for Voting Todd Minniear to Liberty Township Trustee: Where real leadership has been needed as opposed to rubber stamping comprehensive plans

Todd Minniear for Liberty Township Trustee

The trustee race in Liberty Township, Ohio, is interesting because it allows for an advanced discussion of politics that hasn’t been available to us.  On the one hand, there is an incumbent who is a decent Republican, Tom Farrell. He’s offering the status quo rubber stamp on the comprehensive plan so that investors won’t have to worry about unnecessary changes in government to ruin their forecasts.  I understand those problems and can see why stability there would be much desired by many people.  Then there is Buck Rumpke, a hard-working guy from zoning who wants to work with Farrell to continue implementing the Liberty Township comprehensive plan essentially.  I would argue that such a goal is filled with peril because those comprehensive plans are usually written by liberals hired to write them. They essentially reflect the exact phrasing of what the United Nations 2030 plans sound like and are filled with many green energy code words, which, if you peel that back, lead to global communism.  Tom and Buck certainly aren’t communists, but they aren’t exactly the kind of people who are intellectually curious about significant, international matters either.  They know what they know and stay in their lane, which is excellent if you want followers.  But in providing leadership, not so much.

Where many communities can’t afford to debate about levels of conservative policymaking, I see in Liberty a unique situation.  I like Tom, I like Buck, but in listening to them talk, I’m always looking for more from a leadership standpoint, especially after what we know now after the 2020 election year.  Priorities certainly shifted, which is a point I will make for what I think is the best consideration for trustee in Liberty Township in Todd Minniear.  I remember well the challenges that Senator George Lang had back when he was a trustee in West Chester when he worked to challenge the comprehensive plan there and the debates about the library that were a big deal then.  George handled things well, there were times when deviating from the plan made sense, and the debates were healthy.  In Liberty Township, the attitude has pretty much been, follow the plan, and that has made the politics of Liberty Township much less attractive. The problems that we are now facing are even more predictable.

For instance, Todd Minniear talks about it all the time, to encourage more growth in Liberty Township, which is landlocked for the most part, the comprehensive plan advocates for more high-density dwellings, such as apartments like the ones that were approved by zoning to go along with the new Costco development.  Now for the record, I love the idea of the Costco development, and I love Liberty Center.  There is a lot of good that comes from those developments.  Much better than bad.  But Todd is not wrong when he says that apartment dwellings are bad for Liberty Township because it cheapens everything.  They don’t pay for themselves in value and what you end up with is a bunch of voters who have no real ownership in their properties making decisions for the rest of us.  Apartments are a super bad idea in that context.  But, apartments are part of that United Nations comprehensive plan that I mentioned, and that is the problem with following those plans without questioning the reasoning.  The goal of the greenie crowd is to stack people on top of each other and make the world need less cars.  So sidewalks and integrated developments are the wave of the future from the United Nations’ standpoint.  Ownership of private property is something they intend to phase out.  When Todd speaks out against apartment construction, it’s not because he’s anti-development.  But he gets the eventual depletion in value that they create.

Also, what comes up often in such debates is what to do with the great shopping and living development of Liberty Center. It’s a struggling development that started with high hopes. I’m a huge fan of the development, and yes, they are in need of a tax bailout.  I am usually a person who is against bailouts of any kind. However, much of the cause of Liberty Center’s troubles came from the government, specifically Governor Mike DeWine.  When Liberty Center was built, it was already a challenge for brick and mortar stores to make investments there, given Amazon’s impact and other online stores have provided to the market.  But given the wealth of Liberty Township, the risk was worth it, and it turned out to be a significant development.  It still is in every respect.  However, when Mike DeWine shut down the state’s economy over Covid, it directly hit every kind of brick and mortar store, and Liberty Center was struck at a critical time in its business cycle.  Now, to their credit and the credit of Liberty Township shoppers, many businesses at Liberty Center have managed to stick around.  The movie theater is still open.  The restaurants have survived mainly.  There is a lot of good to talk about.  But to give an example, my wife wanted to take one of our grandchildren to the playground there the other day, and it was still closed due to liability concerns over Covid.  So things have not resumed to normal even after the pandemic, which directly impacts the flow of shoppers to the complex.  When you can’t just go and have fun but still must deal with Covid rules, shoppers are more inclined to stay home and shop online.  Now, was that part of the United Nations comprehensive plan?  Of course not.  The developers of Liberty Township followed all the sustainability rules.  But, the government changed the rules.

This is where a person like Todd Minniear would shine as a trustee because he is an advocate of the great book The Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrates, which professes that leadership has an obligation to question the authority of any higher authority.  An example would be the Biden executive order on vaccine mandates or Biden’s orders to shut down businesses to Covid rules.  Todd, in fact, during Covid challenged the DeWine administration and won in court, so he is the only candidate who has been successful in challenging higher authorities based on Constitutional law.  And when it came to helping places like Liberty Center during Covid, they sure could have used Todd Miinniear as a trustee during the Covid shutdowns because it might have helped them not take such a hit for which they now need a bailout.  Looking back on how things should have been handled with Governor Mike DeWine, before the legislature eventually took away his authoritarian mandates under emergency protocols, there needed to be many more politicians like Todd Minniear in place to protect businesses and residents from unnecessary pain.   Liberty Center is an obvious example, but the actual costs to Ohio are still incalculable.  To get an opportunity to get a talented person like Todd onto a board of trustees is unique.  It would be a shame to pass it up.

After a recent debate among the Liberty and West Chester Trustees, I listened to Ann Becker debate The Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrates with Todd.  Ann Becker is a trustee in West Chester, and I’ve known her for a long time and respect her.  She isn’t a fan of the book, so it was a great talk between her and Todd over the philosophy of a trustee’s role under such conditions.  We may not have had that discussion before Covid because nobody would have ever thought a governor like DeWine would ever try to shut down an economy.  But now that we’ve seen the teeth of government, especially at the state and federal level, such debates have a lot more validity.  I decided Todd Minniear was the absolute best candidate for Liberty Township Trustee after listening to this friendly debate.  Ann is a smart cookie, and Todd could answer all her questions quickly and effectively with the actual state revised code he had on hand. He’s such a great mind; it would be a shame not to use it fully since he’s offering it as a public servant.  And I am very, very excited to vote for him for all these reasons and more.   We live in a time where we need politicians to do more than just rubber stamp pre-written comprehensive plans.  Sometimes we need politicians to challenge those plans, but most of all, we need leadership, even when abuses of authority come from higher offices like presidents and governors.  Todd Minniear is the only candidate I know who has a proven track record of success in doing this, and for the future of Liberty Township, we will need a lot more of that than what we’ve had in the past.
