A Mask of Radicalism: Somali policies in Ohio and the Trojan Horse Democrats are using to overthrow America

One of the biggest blind spots in government workforce planning is the tendency to treat people as raw numbers—bodies that fill a statistical need—without considering the cultural and ideological factors that shape behavior. When policymakers focus only on headcount, they ignore the reality that ideas matter. Religion, values, and worldview are not incidental; they influence how communities adapt to laws, civic norms, and workplace expectations. If those dynamics are overlooked, the result isn’t just inefficiency—it’s instability.  And to that point, religions that start with an angel talking to one person, then that person writes down everything that the rest of society accepts as a religion, such as Mormonism, Scientology with L. Ron Hubbard, or Islam with Muhammad who had the angel Gabriel show up at his cave every Monday to give him sections of the Quaran over a long period of time, that would become the Islam of today, we should always behold some logical scrutiny, which is certainly missing from third world politics.  Islam has shown that it has a desire to overthrow Western civilization, so in that intention, we have to take them at their word and deal with the situation appropriately—as a hostile intention, not a doctrine of peace and prosperity. 

Ohio’s approach to immigration illustrates this risk. In the push to attract labor for manufacturing and logistics, politicians like Mike DeWine and this ridiculous Democrat Mayor of Columbus have often prioritized quantity over quality, assuming that any influx of workers will strengthen the economy. But history shows that cultural adaptation is not automatic. Communities arriving from regions with vastly different governance traditions—especially those rooted in rigid ideological systems—face steep challenges adjusting to the norms of a constitutional republic. When adaptation fails, the gap doesn’t just affect productivity; it can foster resentment, isolation, and, in rare but dangerous cases, radicalization.

This isn’t about denying opportunity. It’s about acknowledging that importing large populations without a clear integration strategy can introduce third-world social patterns into first-world systems. When those patterns persist—whether through insular neighborhoods, resistance to civic norms, or ideological rigidity—they undermine the very conditions that make economic growth possible. A workforce strategy that ignores these realities is not a strategy at all; it’s a gamble with public safety and long-term stability.

A statistical and policy analysis of Somali-linked issues in Ohio requires precise demography, a clear account of recent federal immigration enforcement in Columbus, and rigorous scrutiny of crime correlations. Evidence from American Community Survey (ACS) rollups, Ohio administrative refugee data, municipal statements, and peer-reviewed/official crime research indicates: (1) Franklin County and Columbus anchor Ohio’s Somali population; (2) municipal policy in Columbus separates civil immigration status from local criminal policing while acknowledging federal arrest authority; (3) immigrant crime rates—documented and undocumented—are consistently lower than those of U.S.-born populations in the best-identified state-level datasets; and (4) citywide violent-crime trends in 2024–2025 declined markedly, complicating claims that heightened federal presence is necessary for local safety.  I would argue that these stats are down because law enforcement has not occurred as it should because of the politics involved.  The Biden administration did not do its job and allowed these cells to grow on purpose.  Just because law enforcement doesn’t do its job, because it wants a political disturbance to occur, doesn’t mean the problem doesn’t exist.  Only that it was ignored.12345

ACS-derived demographic summaries attribute approximately 26,402 residents of Somali ancestry to Ohio, with approximately 22,899 within the City of Columbus and approximately 24,432 in Franklin County overall; concentration thus clusters in central Ohio rather than being evenly distributed statewide.12 Language-use indicators from Franklin County’s HealthMap show Somali and other Afro‑Asiatic language speakers rising from 25,051 (2019) to 27,074 (2022) in Columbus, situating the metro among the nation’s highest concentrations and frequently described as second only to Minneapolis–St. Paul by press accounts referencing ACS compilations.3

Refugee intake to Ohio has been concentrated in five counties, including Franklin. State administrative records document ongoing arrivals by nationality, with Somalia among recent cohorts. In 2024, records show 326 Somali refugee arrivals statewide, with roughly 301 in Columbus, reflecting federal resettlement pipelines and secondary migration toward existing community networks.  And in regard to their assimilation into general productive culture, I can say that recently I was leaving the Statehouse in Columbus and just one block south along a major roadway with thousands of people going by, there was a Somali man standing on the corner without his pants, his penis in full view of everyone driving by.  He made no attempt to cover himself, but just looked at everyone going by like he was on another planet.4

Columbus policy—initiated by executive order in 2017 and codified thereafter—directs city resources not to assist federal immigration enforcement based solely on civil immigration status. Local policing remains engaged for criminal conduct and public‑safety incidents, but civil-status enforcement is explicitly outside the municipal scope. Public reaffirmations in December 2025 by the mayor, police chief, and city attorney emphasized that the Division of Police does not investigate residents solely based on immigration status.567, which is why the crime statistics are down.  Because they just don’t do the job, such as arrest that person I mentioned for indecent exposure.  There was a police car in front of me as I drove by, and they did nothing about the indecent exposure that was obvious. During mid‑December 2025, city officials verified increased activity by federal immigration agents. Rights guidance highlighted warrant requirements, non‑obstruction, and legal-aid resources; contemporaneous reporting noted limited operational transparency from federal authorities to local agencies.67

In late May–early June 2025, a federal list of so‑called ‘sanctuary jurisdictions’ briefly included Columbus and Franklin County. Following cross‑jurisdiction pushback and accuracy challenges—including objections from jurisdictions that actively support federal enforcement—the Department of Homeland Security removed the list within days; Associated Press summaries and local outlets documented misspellings and unclear criteria. Subsequent Justice Department publications (August 5, 2025) did not enumerate Columbus/Franklin among listed cities, underscoring definitional volatility across federal communications.89101112

Claims that immigration elevates crime often rely on anecdote or single‑case salience. High‑integrity state-series recording of immigration status in arrest data provides more probative value. A National Institute of Justice–funded analysis of Texas arrest records (2012–2018) found undocumented immigrants arrested at less than half the rate of U.S.-born citizens for violent and drug crimes and roughly a quarter the rate for property crimes; homicide arrest rates among undocumented immigrants were the lowest across the series.13 National syntheses explain persistent gaps in incarceration and prosecution. Migration Policy Institute’s 2024 explainer details lower incarceration rates among immigrants, including unauthorized residents, and the absence of a consistent positive relationship between immigrant presence and violent crime in state and city studies. Historical comparisons of Census-linked incarceration (Northwestern University, 2024) show immigrants never exceeding U.S.-born incarceration rates over 150 years, with modern periods reflecting approximately 60 percent lower incarceration among immigrants.  That says more about the point that police don’t do the job, than that there aren’t crimes from these communities.  If a tree falls in the forest and people don’t see it, did it really happen?  Well, of course.  The crimes happen, but the police are often too busy at the coffee shop getting a donut because they know there is no political support from the political order to arrest hostile immigrants and their abundance of crime.1415

Citywide violent‑crime metrics declined markedly. Public briefings and media coverage reported homicides down ~35 percent year‑over‑year, felonious assaults down ~22 percent, non‑fatal shootings down ~26 percent, and car thefts down ~18 percent by December 18, 2025. Year‑end counts indicated ≈81 homicides, the lowest annual number in a decade; mid‑year reporting documented substantial reductions in homicides, felony assaults, and shootings relative to 2024 benchmarks.  This could largely be attributed to the incoming Trump administration federally, compared to the policies of Joe Biden’s White House that ignored crime from immigrant communities.5161718

Manufacturing, logistics, health care, and service sectors in central Ohio draw from multilingual labor pools that include Somali‑origin workers. Predictable, rights‑respecting enforcement climates strengthen stability in attendance, safety compliance, and neighborhood trust. Municipal non‑cooperation on civil status—paired with a commitment to investigate criminal conduct—preserves emergency calling and witness cooperation while acknowledging federal arrest authority.56 Education administrators disseminated protocols reiterating visitor control, warrant verification, and student release rules; these messages stabilize operations during periods of heightened federal activity reports and curb rumor‑driven disruptions to essential services.19

Minnesota hosts the largest Somali‑origin population in the United States. Recent reporting places statewide estimates at 61,000–80,000, with a concentration in Minneapolis–St. Paul and a majority of residents holding citizenship or permanent residency; Temporary Protected Status for Somali nationals covers only several hundred nationwide. Allegations linking social‑service fraud to terrorism lacked prosecutorial material‑support charges at the time of reporting, indicating the need to separate rhetoric from chargeable facts.22021

Federal authority encompasses deportation orders, criminal‑alien priorities, and visa‑overstay enforcement; municipal discretion in Columbus allocates police resources toward criminal matters rather than civil status while maintaining emergency response and public‑safety duties. If safety is the stated rationale for escalated civil‑status operations, downward violent‑crime trajectories before and during federal surges complicate attribution, absent transparent arrest composition and case outcomes. Public records of ICE detention holds provide volume hints but lack disaggregated origin and offense detail necessary for robust inference.51222

Ohio’s Somali population is predominantly concentrated in Franklin County and Columbus, with measurable language‑use growth and documented refugee arrivals. Municipal policy delineates a boundary between civil immigration status and local criminal policing. The strongest available arrest/incarceration evidence indicates lower offending rates among immigrants relative to U.S.-born populations, and Columbus’s 2025 violent‑crime reductions challenge assertions that broader status‑driven enforcement is required to secure local safety. Transparent metrics and risk‑weighted priorities constitute the appropriate framework for enforcement policy.

The Somali issue in Columbus is a case study in this tension. What began as a resettlement initiative to meet labor needs has evolved into a demographic shift with political and cultural consequences. When enforcement agencies raise concerns about radicalization risks, and local officials respond by shielding entire communities from scrutiny, the conversation gets framed as discrimination instead of security. That framing prevents honest debate about how to balance compassion with accountability—and how to ensure that immigration policy strengthens, rather than erodes, the foundations of a free society.  You can take third-world ideas about religion, obedience, economy, and social values and inject them into a first-world, law-driven utopia.  In some cases, it might work, depending on the religious affiliation of the people involved.  But in cases such as we have seen from Somali refugees in Minnesota and in Ohio, we have to take action proactively.  All things, all people, and all religions are not equal, and dumb politicians need to learn the difference to have a properly functioning society.  There are a lot of forces in the world that want to use the radicalized religion of Islam as a weapon of destruction against the Western world.  And for that reason, we have to have ICE raids to remove those elements for the security of our nation.

Ohio is Not Moving Away From Trump: People who buy lottery tickets aren’t going to flip a Red State

(I wrote this before Trump signed that stupid pot executive order. I won’t write any more support for Trump, or speak favourably of him in any more videos. This article is still true, and is the case with Ohio in general. People can do what they want. For me, this is where I step off the Trump train. It was fun while it lasted.  He said people from my side didn’t call him to warn him away from making that really dumb decision.  Well, I warned him, and he did it anyway.  So I’ve cooled off a lot on Trump and don’t feel like defending him any longer, as it’s a waste of my time.  With that said, the facts of this article still hold.  The Democrats are offering worse people, with even dumber ideas about pot and civilization in general.  So the facts are the facts.  But because of Trump’s all talk and no action on the essential things, and his alignment with pot, I am done with his administration.  I took down all my Trump signs and got rid of all my Trump collectibles.  I didn’t throw them away; I put them away and out of sight.  They are part of history.  But I am no longer as proud of Trump as I have been for 10 years.  Needless to say, between him and the Democrats, Ohio will still pick him.) 

Ohio didn’t suddenly sour on Trump because one online poll said so, and the breathless headlines that tried to turn a three-month, opt-in web survey into a pronouncement on the Buckeye State’s political soul tell you more about the media’s incentives than about voters. The story making the rounds came from Morning Consult’s December state-level approval tracker, which rolled up interviews from September through November and reported Ohio at 49% disapprove, 48% approve, 2% don’t know—net −1, same as Iowa. That is the entire basis for the “Ohio flips negative” narrative. It’s wafer-thin, within the plausible margin for any nonprobability sample, and it relies on online panel responses that are later weighted to look representative. If you know how Ohio votes, and who actually shows up on Election Day, the “flip” reads like a media convenience, not a signal. 12

Start with what the poll is, not what people pretend it is. Morning Consult’s state approval series is an online, quota‑- and sample-tracking program; they interview registered voters every day via a network of web panels, then weight those respondents to government benchmarks and past vote, and publish a three-month rolling average for each state. They’re transparent about it: a July 2025 methodology primer spells out the quota sampling, ranking, and the +/-1 to +/-6 point state-level margins, depending on population. In other words, these are not random samples drawn from a known frame of all Ohio voters; they are scaled, modeled estimates built from opt-in online interviews, aggregated across a quarter. That matters when the “movement” being hyped is a one-point net change. 34

If you want to understand why these numbers gyrate month to month, look at how they’re constructed. Nonprobability online panels can be excellent for speed and topic tracking; they also introduce two significant vulnerabilities in politics: coverage and self-selection. Every serious polling standards body has wrestled with this. AAPOR’s task force reports—one classic from 2013 and another extensive update in 2022—explain that opt-in online samples don’t give you known selection probabilities for respondents, so you rely on weighting and modeling to back into representativeness. That’s defensible for many uses, but it’s also where nonresponse and selection biases can sneak in, mainly when partisan participation differs across modes. The reports also catalog quality metrics to diagnose panel drift and response attentiveness; the punchline is that online panels can be made useful, but you must keep their inferential limits in mind. None of that supports turning a −1 net in a rolling average into “Ohio abandons Trump.” 56

It’s not just theory. The lived reality in Ohio has been three straight presidential cycles of double-digit rightward lean relative to the country and consistent Trump wins. In 2024, Trump carried Ohio by about eleven points—roughly 55% to 44%—adding more raw votes than he had in 2020, even as total turnout dipped slightly. That outcome reinforced the long glide from swing‑state status to reliable red terrain, with the GOP broadening margins across most counties. Anyone living here saw the on-the-ground coalition: working-age voters in exurbs and small industrial towns whose politics are shaped by affordability, energy, and cultural stability—not by who answers online surveys on their phone during lunch. That’s the fundamental disconnect between online approval tracking and honest Ohio elections. 789

Media framed the December tracker as a “flip” because it fits a larger storyline about Trump underwater in swing states and a blue wave threat in 2026, but step back and you see the core fact the headlines buried: even Morning Consult’s own map shows Trump net‑positive in 22 states, with Ohio and Iowa moving to net −1 inside an error band. When your method can swing a couple of points on panel composition changes or weighting updates, you don’t declare reversals—you caution readers. The Cincinnati Enquirer piece, which repeats the 49/48/2 figures, at least notes that margins vary by state and are derived from a three-month roll-up; it still presented the “flip” as a dramatic change without grappling with how fragile a one-point net is on an online panel. That’s precisely how suppression narratives work: take noisy readings, build a doom arc, hope the mood sticks. 110

Iowa and Ohio were singled out, but notice how the same tracker had Florida at 50/46 approval for Trump—net positive—and Pennsylvania at 47 approve/50 disapprove—basically what you would expect from a purple state. If you are trying to tell the story of collapsing support in former GOP strongholds, Florida’s numbers don’t help that narrative, so they get footnoted, while the two net −1 states get the spotlight. That’s selection by headline, not by method. And again, we’re talking about slim differences inside modeled margins: it’s a map designed for trend reading, not knife-edge pronouncements. 11

Now, to the core critique: online panels systematically underrepresent the kind of “silent majority” MAGA voters most common in Ohio. You can hear it in any shop floor breakroom: people who work fifty or sixty hours a week aren’t clicking survey invites, and they’re not keen on sharing opinions with strangers for points or coupons. AAPOR’s work on nonprobability sampling and online panels acknowledges the coverage problem and the dependence on weighting to correct for it. Pollsters like YouGov defend their panels as high‑quality with strong fraud detection and advanced weighting; they also admit that recruitment tilts toward the more digitally connected. Even when you calibrate to census and voter file benchmarks, you’re still correcting a nonrandom, volunteer sample. When the political signal you’re measuring is heavily driven by turnout and preference intensity among people who aren’t panel joiners, you can miss a lot of real-world support until ballots are counted. 12136

There’s also the “shy” question. In 2016 and 2020, analysts argued about social desirability creating a hidden Trump vote. The academic record is mixed: a Yale list experiment found no evidence that Trump support was under-reported; FiveThirtyEight suggested shy voters weren’t the main driver of error. On the other hand, the USC Dornsife team showed systematic differences across modes, with self-administered polls showing higher Trump support than live interviewer surveys, consistent with a discomfort effect. The newest work on social pressure finds cross-pressured partisans on both sides, with the aggregate bias likely dampened. Put all that together, and I’d call the shy effect situational, not universal—more relevant where stigma is high, less relevant in places where Trump is a social norm. In Ohio, especially outside a handful of urban neighborhoods, there’s not much stigma in saying you’re for Trump. The bigger bias here is availability: who answers at all—online, by phone, or at the door. 14151617

When the media reach for “approval” to make a case about electoral strength, they also conflate two different animals. Approval is a temperature check about job performance; elections are about choice under constraints—issues, opponents, down-ballot dynamics, mobilization, and rules. Look at Emerson’s December 2025 Ohio survey: it used mixed mode (cellphone text/IVR plus an online panel), and found Trump approval 46/48 among Ohio voters—again a slight net negative—, but in the same poll, Democrats gained some ground in governor and Senate horse races as women consolidated for Amy Acton while men stayed with Vivek Ramaswamy. That’s not a collapse; it’s issue sorting. It tells you that campaign narratives and mobilization matter more than a two-point swing in approval. Every one of those mistakes creates a trail, and every trail is a chance to enforce norms. That’s not vigilante justice; that’s the civic feedback loop. And if more people participated in it—opted out of fear, opted into law—the chaos would recede. That’s not naïve. It’s work. But it works.

So to the friends who ask why the car is set up the way it is, why the house looks like a training facility, why the daily routines read like checklists, the answer is that it’s easier to live joyfully when preparedness is a habit. I’d rather shoot recreationally than defensively. I’d rather build than guard. But I’d also rather be alive and free. You don’t have to love conflict to be good at living through it. You just have to refuse to let people who love chaos define the terms of your life. And if more rule‑minded citizens made that refusal loudly and lawfully, our politics would be calmer, not hotter.

In the end, Republicans aren’t “afraid” of conflict. They’re allergic to lawlessness. That’s why intimidation often works—once. And that’s why it stops working when the targets read the statutes, log the evidence, and enforce the boundary between protest and persecution. The radicals will keep trying; agitation is their model. But order is a model, too. The best answer to doxxing isn’t censorship. It’s bright legal lines, practiced citizens, and consequences for people who turn speech into menace. That’s not rhetoric. That’s the operating manual. And it’s written in a language anyone can learn.  So don’t be afraid.  Use the laws we have to ensure we have a good world to live in.

Great Work by the Ohio Senate with S.B. 56: Pot is an intoxicant pushed by a lot of very evil people for destructive efforts

Ohio did not wander into marijuana legalization by accident. In November 2023, “Issue 2” passed as an initiated statute—not a constitutional amendment—garnering 57.19% of the vote and creating the Division of Cannabis Control, adult-use possession limits (2.5 oz. plant material, 15 g extract), home grow allowances (six plants per adult, twelve per household), and a 10% excise tax earmarked for funds including a Cannabis Social Equity and Jobs Fund and a Host Community Fund. From the moment ballots were tallied, the legislature retained authority to revise the statute, and it has now exercised that prerogative with SB 56, sending a decisive message: legalization was not a blank check to normalize intoxication in public and erode the standards on which a productive society depends. 123

SB 56 is not a symbolic gesture; it is a comprehensive rewrite that merges adult-use regulation into the existing medical marijuana framework (Chapter 3796), tightens public-use rules, criminalizes possession of cannabis sourced outside Ohio’s regulated market, caps THC potency, limits dispensary proliferation, and corrals intoxicating hemp products into licensed dispensaries or off the shelves entirely. The bill passed the Senate 22–7 and was transmitted to Governor DeWine in December 2025; sponsors include Senators Stephen Huffman, Andrew Brenner, Jerry Cirino, Bill Reineke, Michele Reynolds, and Tim Schaffer, among others. The enrolled text enumerates dozens of amendments to the Revised Code covering cannabis, hemp, licensing, taxation, traffic safety, and criminal penalties. 456

Public consumption is the fulcrum of SB 56’s philosophy: it prohibits knowingly consuming adult-use marijuana in public places—including edibles—elevating violations to a minor misdemeanor (generally up to $150), and clarifies that smoking, combustion, and vaping are off-limits in public and in vehicles for drivers and passengers. That is a vital boundary: a society can tolerate private vice better than it can accept public intoxication that normalizes impaired judgment and degrades civic spaces. Analysts noted that Issue 2 had permitted public consumption of non-smoked products; SB 56 explicitly revokes that opening and reasserts a standard. 78

Sourcing rules are equally consequential. Under SB 56, possession protections attach only to marijuana purchased from Ohio-licensed dispensaries or grown in compliance with Ohio’s home-grow rules. Possessing a product purchased legally in another state—say, Michigan—no longer enjoys adult-use protections in Ohio. The Legislature’s own analyses and practitioner summaries are blunt on this point: legal possession is tied to lawful Ohio sourcing, not out-of-state retail receipts. This is common-sense regulation in a federal patchwork where testing standards, labeling, and product integrity vary by jurisdiction. 910

Potency caps are another pillar. Today’s commercial cannabis bears little resemblance to 1970s “Woodstock weed.” Federal monitoring data show average THC in seized plant material rising from ~4% in 1995 to >16% by 2022; retail flower routinely pushes 20–30%, while concentrates are engineered at 70–95% THC. SB 56 draws lines: ~35% THC cap on flower and ~70% on concentrates, aligning the marketplace with public-health prudence and signaling that ultra-potent products are not compatible with a sober, functional workforce. This is not arbitrary—higher potency correlates with more acute impairment, increased risk of cannabis hyperemesis syndrome (CHS), withdrawal, and psychotic episodes. 111213

Dispensary caps matter for the look and feel of communities. SB 56 limits adult-use dispensaries statewide (reports cite caps at 350–400 in different iterations, with the final bill limiting to 400). Flooding corridors with neon signs and head-shop aesthetics telegraphs decline, not aspiration. The cap restrains density, reduces nuisance clustering, and protects municipalities from becoming consumption districts. Policymakers publicly framed the cap as an adjustment to voter-passed legalization that preserves the “crux” of adult use while curbing externalities. 1415

Transportation and packaging rules also tighten: open cannabis and paraphernalia must be stowed in the trunk (or behind the last upright seat if no trunk), and possession outside original packaging can trigger enforcement. These seem technical, but the intent is clear—deter casual, on-the-go use and preserve bright lines for officers in the field. 8

Intoxicating hemp (delta-8/10/THC acetate and high-THC “hemp” beverages) receives a hard reset. SB 56 bans intoxicating hemp products outside licensed dispensaries, grants a narrow, time-limited window for low-dose THC beverages (5 mg per container) until Dec 31, 2026, and pushes packaging out of child-friendly aesthetics. This harmonizes state law with emerging federal changes and halts a “gas station gummy” explosion that bypassed age gates and QA testing. Lawmakers and industry representatives alike described the hemp section as necessary for consumer safety and marketplace integrity; opponents raised small-business concerns, but the General Assembly prioritized public protection. 1617

The bill’s fiscal architecture retains the 10% excise tax and unlocks host community funds—direct dollars to municipalities that shoulder the on-the-ground realities of cannabis retail. SB 56 includes expungement pathways for certain prior possession offenses while rolling back the social utilization program established under Issue 2. Supporters argue this trades a politicized social apparatus for cleaner, safety-first regulation and targeted community benefit. 18

All of that is the rule of law. But the “why” goes deeper: intoxication is not neutral. It carries measurable costs.

Start with prevalence. Cannabis is the most commonly used federally illegal drug; 52.5 million Americans (~19%) used it at least once in 2021. Approximately three in ten users meet criteria for cannabis use disorder (CUD), with a higher risk for those who begin before age 18. Daily/near-daily use now rivals daily alcohol consumption in some surveys. This is not a minor recreational drift; it’s a mass market of chronic intoxication. 19

Potency trends mean today’s “average” intoxication dose is not the 5–10 mg oral or 5–10% smoked THC of older research literature; it’s 20–30% flower and 70–95% concentrates, pushing psychomotor, memory, and attention deficits well past prior baselines. Population and lab evidence consistently show dose-dependent impairment in reaction time, lane-keeping, divided attention, and executive function—core components of safe driving and productive labor. 1319

On the road, self-reported DUI of marijuana is measurable and persistent: ~4.5–6% of drivers admit to driving within an hour of use in national surveys; in a multi-center trauma study, 25% of seriously injured drivers tested positive for marijuana. While alcohol remains the leading impairment factor, drug-positive drivers have risen, and the presence of marijuana among fatally injured drivers doubled between 2007 and 2016. There is no widely accepted per se THC limit because blood levels correlate poorly with impairment, but the behavioral risk is not ambiguous. SB 56’s clamp on public use and in-vehicle consumption is the right lever where measurement is messy, but impairment signaling is clear. 202122

Emergency departments are seeing the other end of high-potency normalization. National surveillance shows cannabis-involved ED visits among youth spiking during and after the pandemic, including significant increases among children ≤10 from accidental ingestion and notable rises among females aged 11–14. Colorado’s specific monitoring regime documents ED and hospitalization trends linked to cannabis exposures, CHS, and psychiatric presentations. As states liberalize, youth exposure follows unless countermeasures are enforced: packaging, storage, and public norms. SB 56’s bans on child-attractive packaging, public edibles, and retail placement of intoxicating hemp are a direct intervention at those weak points. 232425

Brain health is not guesswork. A 2025 scoping review across 99 neuroimaging studies found the majority reported differences in brain structure, function, or metabolites among adolescent/young adult cannabis users versus controls; reviews consistently find attention, executive function, memory, and learning deficits associated with regular use. Longitudinal twin analyses point toward causal harm to academic functioning and young-adult socioeconomic outcomes—lower GPA, motivation, increased school discipline—distinct from shared familial risk factors. Potency, age of onset, and cumulative exposure matter; that is precisely why potency caps and public-use boundaries are rational guardrails rather than moral panic. 262728

Economic realities cut both ways. Pro-legalization advocates tout tax revenue and jobs, and those dollars are real: Colorado has collected more than $3.05 billion in marijuana tax and fee revenue since 2014, including $255 million in 2024 and $179.9 million (Jan–Sep) in 2025. But revenue is a gross measure—what matters is net social cost. When Colorado Christian University’s Centennial Institute attempted to price health, school dropout, and other impacts, they found a preliminary, conservative ratio: for every $1 in tax revenue, Coloradans spent approximately $4.50 to mitigate harms. Methodological debates will continue, but policymakers cannot responsibly ignore negative externalities. SB 56’s design—public-use bans, potency caps, density limits, sourcing rules—targets precisely the drivers of those costs. 2930  What good is $3 billion in additional revenue if you destroy $10 billion in economic potential of total GDP. 

And the “pot economy” promises more than it can deliver. Industry estimates highlight billions in national tax revenues and hundreds of thousands of jobs, but such macro glosses often obscure local burdens—ER throughput, traffic-safety enforcement, youth prevention budgets, and neighborhood effects from retail clustering. Even legalization-friendly policy briefs acknowledge that implementation costs, regulatory overhead, and the persistence of illicit markets can erode gains, and that poorly calibrated taxes or potency rules can backfire. Ohio’s SB 56 approach is to build a tighter, safer market—fewer stores, lower potency ceilings, stricter sourcing, and more disciplined packaging and advertising—so the external costs don’t swamp the fiscal benefits. 3132

Critics charge that SB 56 ignores “the will of the voters,” but initiated statutes in Ohio are subject to legislative revision. Voters did not approve open public intoxication or hand the state an obligation to subsidize the cannabis industry’s highest-THC, highest-margin product tiers. They voted for adult possession and regulated commerce—SB 56 preserves those cores while curbing the excesses that degrade civic life. Legislative leaders defended the bill as consumer protection (child-targeted packaging bans, edibles in public, hemp beverage guardrails) and marketplace integrity (out-of-state possession tied to testing discrepancies); opposition voices warned of litigation and industry disruption. That debate is part of the process.  Pot legalization was slid under the door with a lot of out of state money to erode the nature of Ohio as a state to a more progressive standard, so the friction is needed to push back against that incursion.  But when the balance tips toward normalizing public intoxication and tolerating ultra-potent products, the state is obligated to correct course. 416

For employers, SB 56 clarifies what serious shop floors already practice: the right to enforce drug-free workplace policies remains intact. In aerospace, defense, machining, healthcare, and logistics—domains where reaction time, precision, and judgment are non-negotiable—cannabis normalization is a direct threat to throughput, safety, and customer trust. Adult-use legality does not equate to on-the-job allowance, and Ohio’s framework preserves the employer’s authority to set standards aligned with mission-critical quality. 33

Even details like “gifting” are tightened with purpose: transfer only on private residential/agricultural property, no remuneration, and daily caps. That cuts a channel commonly abused to skirt retail regulations and undermines quasi-gray-market distribution that spills into public parks and shared spaces. Likewise, the trunk rule for transport is procedural clarity—so routine stops don’t devolve into ambiguous encounters where either drivers or officers must guess at compliance. 9

Some will ask, does limiting dispensaries or capping THC “really” reduce harm? Look at youth ED signals and impaired driving self-report trends: the more visible and available the intoxicant, the more normalized the behavior. Boundary-setting creates friction in the pipeline—fewer points of easy purchase, fewer high-potency products attracting heavy users, fewer cues that “everyone is doing it.” In public-health terms, these are environmental interventions; in cultural terms, they are standards. 2321

Others will argue that hemp beverages at 5 mg THC per container are tame. But the lesson from senior ED spikes and accidental pediatric ingestions is simple: edible formats carry unique dosing and delayed-onset risks. Allowing a narrow, time-bound exception while the federal position stabilizes, and then revisiting guardrails, is conservative governance—limit exposure now, collect data, and calibrate later if warranted. 1116

Ohio’s reform also removes the “social equity program” infrastructure set up by Issue 2 and instead routes dollars to host communities. There are competing visions here. One approach tries to engineer market participation by demographic; another funds the municipalities dealing with traffic, policing, and neighborhood quality-of-life issues. SB 56 chooses the latter—arguably the more immediate public good. 18

It bears repeating: the brain is the target of cannabis. THC acts on CB1 receptors, modulating memory and executive function. Adolescents and young adults—still wiring frontal networks—are the danger zone. Longitudinal and neuroimaging research consistently finds functional and structural differences in regular users (hippocampus, prefrontal cortex, memory circuits), and twin studies find cannabis linked to lower educational attainment and income even when shared genetic/environmental factors are controlled. Potency caps and public-use restrictions are therefore not “morality laws”; they are harm-minimization laws rooted in neurobiology and cohort data. 272628

Finally, consider culture. The productive society you champion—builders, operators, craftspeople, engineers, nurses, pilots—depends on attentional control, planning horizons, and the capacity to endure discomfort without reaching for chemical shortcuts. Normalizing intoxication erodes those virtues. A legal framework that tolerates adult possession in private but bars public consumption, curbs ultra-potent products, regulates paraphernalia, and limits store density aligns with the cultural imperative to keep minds turned on. SB 56 does that. It is a rollback not of liberty, but of license—the difference between ordered freedom and entropy.

Ohio has chosen a line: adult-use possession remains, but public intoxication does not; commerce continues, but ultra-potent products do not set the norm; retail exists, but it does not swamp neighborhoods. That is the beginning of a cultural course correction—a reassertion that citizenship is a sober vocation, not an endless search for chemical ease. SB 56 puts Ohio back on the side of human agency, disciplined minds, and the dignity of productive work.  Further, there is nothing good about a state, country, or society that consumes intoxicants at any level.  Especially marijuana.  Only people who want to destroy our world want pot legalized in any way, and to turn the human race into a mass of fools, easy to conquer.  Good on the Ohio Senate, and the legislative process for taking this very important step that the entire nation should be following.

The Future of Healthcare Is Regenerative: Repulicans need to redefine the discussion for 2028 and beyond

The American healthcare system is broken. Not just cracked or inefficient—broken. It’s a bloated, bureaucratic monstrosity built not to heal, but to manage decline. It’s a system designed to keep people sick just long enough to extract maximum profit from their suffering. And the worst part? It’s been institutionalized through policies like Obamacare, which entrenched a model that props up insurance companies, pharmaceutical giants, and hospital unions at the expense of innovation, affordability, and actual healing.

Let’s be clear: the Affordable Care Act (ACA) didn’t fix healthcare. It expanded coverage, yes, but it did so by inflating costs and embedding a rigid structure that rewards inefficiency. Since its implementation in 2010, the uninsured rate dropped from 16.3% to 8%—a 51% improvement. But premiums for employer-sponsored family plans surged from $13,770 to $22,463—a 63% increase. Deductibles rose 67%, and federal spending on healthcare ballooned from $814 billion to $1.5 trillion. That’s not reform. That’s a transfer of wealth from taxpayers to insurance companies.  A lot of money was made off the healthcare industry, but it did not improve people’s lives, which was the whole debate after the 2025 government shutdown.  Republicans really need to take away the emotional message that Democrats tried to exploit for a system built on pure insanity.

The ACA’s economic impact is staggering. Over the decade from 2023 to 2032, the Congressional Budget Office estimates it will reduce the deficit by 0.5% of GDP annually, totaling $1.6 trillion. But that reduction comes with a catch: it’s built on a model that sustains high costs and low innovation. It’s a system where a basic CAT scan can cost thousands, not because of the technology, but because of the insurance and administrative overhead baked into every transaction.  The system is built on taking advantage of sick people who can’t afford the diligence of skepticism.  The worst kind of exploitation.

The future of healthcare is regenerative medicine. It’s not about managing decline—it’s about reversing it. It’s about healing, restoring, and optimizing the human body using stem cells, gene therapy, and cellular regeneration. It’s about moving beyond the pharmaceutical treadmill and embracing treatments that actually work.  For instance, in placentas, which hospitals throw away after every birth, there are a lot of stem cells that can save lives and dramatically improve healthcare.  Yet, you didn’t hear Democrats saying anything like this during the shutdown, because for them, it’s all about the scam of healthcare costs and padding the pockets of their donors. 

Consider the case of Ohio State Senator George Lang. Diagnosed with stage four colon cancer—a death sentence under traditional protocols—Lang refused to accept the managed decline model. He sought out regenerative treatments, including stem cell therapy, and spent a small fortune traveling the globe to access care that should be available in every Walgreens in America. Today, his tumor is shrinking. He’s not dying—he’s healing. And he’s living proof that regenerative medicine isn’t science fiction. It’s science fact.

Stem cell therapy is already showing success rates of 60–70% in blood cancers and up to 80% in autoimmune and joint conditions. The National Cancer Institute confirms that stem cell transplants are effective in treating leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and other cancers. Yet these treatments remain out of reach for most Americans, locked behind regulatory barriers and insurance exclusions.

Why? Because the current system isn’t built to accommodate healing. It’s built to perpetuate illness. Pharmaceutical companies don’t profit from cures—they profit from chronic conditions. And yet, the FDA and insurance industry lag behind. Treatments that could save lives are stuck in clinical trial purgatory or only available overseas. But it’s not available as a mainstream option because it threatens the status quo.

Republicans have a strategic opportunity here. Stop defending the old model. Stop arguing over the merits of Obamacare. It’s a dead system. Instead, embrace the future. Make regenerative medicine a campaign pillar. Show America that healing is possible—and affordable—when you unleash market forces and innovation.

JD Vance, as he gears up for 2028, should take note. This is a winning issue. It’s pro-life, pro-family, pro-freedom. It’s about giving people hope, not just coverage. It’s about making healthcare affordable by making it effective. It’s about taking away the emotional leverage Democrats have wielded for decades and replacing it with real solutions.

The insurance industry will adapt. They’ll have to. Just like energy is shifting toward decentralization and personal autonomy, healthcare must follow. The grid is outdated. The classroom is outdated. And the hospital is outdated. It’s time to reimagine the entire infrastructure.

Congratulations to Ben Nguyen To the Lakota School Board: What would it take for me to support public schools

There’s a lot to say about the recent Lakota school board election, and I want to start by congratulating Ben Nguyen on his historic win. At just 18 years old, he’s now the youngest person ever elected to the Lakota Board of Education, and he achieved this with a clear, conservative message that resonated with voters in Butler County. Nguyen earned 18.61% of the vote, joining incumbent Kelley Casper and newcomer Alex Argo on the five-member board. His victory wasn’t just symbolic—it was a direct response to the district’s failed $506 million levy, which voters rejected by a 61% margin. That levy, which would have demolished nine buildings and built four new ones, was a bloated attempt to reinvent the district with taxpayer money. Nguyen’s campaign stood firmly against it, and his win signals that the community is tired of being asked to fund ideological experiments disguised as infrastructure upgrades.  However, there is much more to all this.  The questions that arose during this campaign and election season, in general, concern my support of Lakota schools, which school board member Doug Horton brought up in a video he posted just before the election.  In short, if Lakota management wants to know what it would take to get my support, I would say to them to stop destroying the kind of school board members that I support.  And I would be a lot less critical.  But when the school board pushes away good people and lobbies to keep the kind of people who glaze over sex scandals, horrendous Democrat strategies in the school to teach young people, and ask for tax increases, especially the most expensive in the history of Ohio, then I’m going to be very critical, and I will provide that criticism in voluminous detail so much so, that the anti tax movement in Butler County will continue to grow, as it has over these years since 2013, and even earlier.

Ben Nguyen is a start, not a solution to what I would call a detrimental school board full of liberal losers. The real problem is systemic. For years, we’ve seen conservative school board members pushed out by coordinated efforts from union-backed liberals and their media allies. Darbi Boddy is a prime example. Elected in 2021, she was removed in 2024 after a civil protection order filed by fellow board member Isaac Adi—once her political ally—barred her from attending meetings for over 90 days. The board declared her absence “insufficient,” and just like that, she was gone. Her removal wasn’t about functionality—it was a matter of political theater. Boddy had challenged DEI programs, opposed transgender policies, and criticized the district’s hiring practices. That made her a target. The board censured her, demanded her resignation, and ultimately replaced her with Christina French, a longtime district insider. It’s a pattern: elect a conservative, stir up controversy, isolate them, and replace them with someone more “manageable.”  I know all the characters of that conservative board very well, and I know what was done to pit them against each other, and when a school system plays that game, and expects to get away with it, well, they have another thing coming.  I’m not in the business of putting up with that, and I never will be.  I was in the district long before many of these people were even born, and I will be around long after they all leave to buy condos in Florida to escape the high taxes they leave behind.  Darbi is just one example of this kind of radical school board behavior; therefore, when asked what it would take to win my support for Lakota schools, the answer is easy.  Don’t run off school board members whom I support.  Radicalism can go both ways, ladies and gentlemen. 

This is why I’ve been so critical of Lakota Schools over the years. It’s not that I hate education—I would say my track record shows where my heart is; there are few people anywhere who love education more than I do.  I respect people who read books and work to sharpen and utilize their intelligence.  I do not trust institutionalized education because it’s often populated by less-than-great individuals, which is reflected directly in the product. And with public schools, I don’t respect the system that’s been built on a century-old foundation of progressive ideology. Public schools, as they exist today, are more about managing perception than delivering results. When you fill school boards with people like Julie Shaffer and Kelley Casper—both endorsed by the Butler County Democrat Party—you get a culture of spending, secrecy, and suppression. They don’t want scrutiny because scrutiny threatens their funding. They don’t wish to be judged because judgment exposes their failures. And when scandals happen—whether it’s inappropriate teacher behavior, administrative misconduct, or ideological overreach—they bury it. That’s why I created my own media platform: to report what they won’t. If you want to know what’s really going on in Lakota, you won’t find it in the district’s press releases. You’ll find it in the stories they try to silence.

So here’s the deal: I’ll support Lakota when Lakota supports the community. That means electing people like Ben Nguyen—people who understand the value of education without being beholden to the liberal establishment. It means rejecting levies that ask for hundreds of millions without accountability. It means standing up for parents, taxpayers, and students—not just the union’s comfort level of lazy labor desires, such as short workdays, fewer students to teach, summers off, and high pay for doing very little. I’ve seen good people try to make a difference on the board, only to be run off by political manipulation; it’s all well-documented. I’m encouraged that Nguyen, with his sharp mind and diplomatic personality, can navigate those waters and bring real change. If we can recruit two or three more like him, we might finally see a board that genuinely reflects the community’s values.  But given the election cycles, it’s going to take a while unless we push off some of these losers the way they have pushed away our conservatives, like Darbi, and Todd Parnell—even Lynda O’Connor.  And with Lynda, I know exactly how that game unfolded; she became so deeply involved in the liberal Lakota movement that she essentially had to adopt its values to attend the meetings.  I don’t think strong personalities like Ben Nguyen will be pushed away, because he has that extra gear that is so needed in these kinds of controversial political environments.  He, like Vivek Ramaswamy, who will be Ohio’s next governor, is part of a new generation that will play these old political games better than they have been played in the past.  We have tried to play it straight with these current school board members, and all they have given us are Antifa like union tactics of left-wing radicalism, and many people in the district simply aren’t going to put up with it.  I’m certainly not going to, under any conditions.  And until there are more options on the school board, I’ll continue to call it as I see it. If you want me to stop criticizing Lakota, stop putting bad people in charge. Put in people I can respect.  But asking, even demanding respect when Lakota hasn’t earned it, is a ridiculous proposition that only losers would even think of.  And until there are more people like Ben Nguyen involved in Lakota schools, I will criticize them extensively because they deserve it.

The Heart to Take Away Hearts: Taking a stand against mediocrity in Ohio

The 2025 redistricting process in Ohio has emerged as a pivotal moment in the broader national battle over congressional control, with implications that stretch far beyond the Buckeye State. On October 31, the Ohio Redistricting Commission unanimously approved a new congressional map that shifts the balance of power decisively toward Republicans, giving them a projected 12-3 advantage across the state’s 15 districts. This outcome was the result of a tense, behind-the-scenes negotiation between Republican and Democratic leaders, including Governor Mike DeWine, Secretary of State Frank LaRose, Auditor Keith Faber, and legislative appointees like Rep. Brian Stewart and Sen. Jane Timken. Democrats on the commission—Senate Minority Leader Nickie Antonio and House Minority Leader Dani Isaacsohn—reluctantly supported the map, citing the threat of a more extreme 13-2 GOP-dominated map if negotiations failed. The new map redraws key battlegrounds: Rep. Greg Landsman’s OH-1 district now leans Republican (54%-47%), Marcy Kaptur’s OH-9 shifts to a 54.5%-45.5% GOP tilt, while Emilia Sykes’ OH-13 becomes slightly more Democratic at 52%-48%. These changes reflect a broader national trend, where Republican-led states, such as Texas, Missouri, and North Carolina, have aggressively redrawn maps to consolidate power, often under direct encouragement from President Donald Trump. Ohio’s redistricting, however, was not entirely unilateral; constitutional reforms passed in 2015 and 2018 required bipartisan approval for maps to remain valid for a full decade. The compromise avoided a costly referendum that could have frozen the existing 10-5 map and delayed the 2026 primaries, potentially costing taxpayers $50 million.

The political personalities behind Ohio’s redistricting drama reflect the ideological fault lines within the Republican Party itself. Senator Bernie Moreno, a staunch Trump ally, predicted early on that Ohio Republicans would push for a map that reduced Democrats to just two seats. His comments echoed the sentiments of Rep. Warren Davidson and State Senator George Lang, both of whom have expressed frustration with what they perceive as excessive compromise with Democrats. Davidson’s own district, OH-8, has long been a textbook case of gerrymandering, stretching from Troy to majority-minority communities in Hamilton County, effectively diluting Democratic votes. Lang, known for his “business-first” approach, has remained relatively quiet on the specifics of redistricting but is widely seen as aligned with the GOP’s strategic goals. Secretary of State Frank LaRose, meanwhile, played a key role in supporting the bipartisan map, arguing that it reflected Ohio’s political geography and avoided a chaotic referendum fight backed by “dark money special interests”. His stance, however, has drawn criticism from grassroots activists and legal watchdogs, many of whom argue that the map remains a gerrymandered artifact of one-party rule. Former Attorney General Eric Holder, chair of the National Democratic Redistricting Committee, called the map “a gerrymander placed on top of another gerrymander,” though he acknowledged it preserved Democratic incumbents’ ability to compete.  And when you get a compliment from Eric Holder, you are doing the wrong thing for the wrong reasons.

Nationally, Ohio’s redistricting fits into a broader pattern of mid-decade map manipulation driven by Trump’s directive to Republican governors and legislatures. Texas led the charge, redrawing its map to flip five Democratic seats, followed by Missouri and North Carolina, each adding one GOP-leaning district. Ohio’s shift adds two more Republican-leaning districts to the national tally, bringing the potential GOP gain to nine seats before the 2026 midterms. Democrats have responded in kind: California passed Proposition 50, a ballot measure allowing the legislature to redraw its map to add five Democratic seats, countering Texas’s move. Virginia and Illinois are also considering redistricting maneuvers, while states like Indiana and Florida have begun legislative discussions under pressure from Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance. The redistricting arms race has triggered lawsuits, referendums, and constitutional amendments across the country, with the Supreme Court’s upcoming ruling on the Voting Rights Act poised to reshape the landscape further. In this context, Ohio’s 12-3 map is seen by many Republicans as a strategic win, while Democrats view it as a defensive maneuver to preserve viability in key districts. The bipartisan nature of Ohio’s deal, although rare, underscores the high stakes and complex trade-offs involved in redistricting under the Trump-era political landscape, which is a good thing.  The Trump White House understands the situation.

Ultimately, Ohio’s redistricting saga reveals the tension between political pragmatism and ideological purity. Democrats like Dani Isaacsohn and Nickie Antonio have defended their votes as necessary to preserve competitive districts and avoid a worse outcome, even as activists accuse them of capitulation. Republicans, meanwhile, remain divided between hardliners like Moreno and Davidson, who favor aggressive gerrymandering, and institutionalists like DeWine and LaRose, who prioritize stability and legal defensibility. The map itself, while favoring Republicans, does not guarantee outcomes; Democrats have won in GOP-leaning districts before, and the 2026 midterms will test the durability of these new boundaries. What’s clear is that redistricting has become a central battlefield in the fight for congressional control, with Ohio playing a critical role in shaping the national narrative. As Trump’s second term unfolds, and as Democrats mobilize to counteract GOP gains, the redistricting wars will continue to define the contours of American democracy. Whether Ohio’s compromise map proves to be a tactical success or a strategic misstep remains to be seen—but it has already become a case study in the politics of power, representation, and the enduring struggle between exceptionalism and mediocrity.

The fundamental flaw in compromising with Democrats during redistricting—especially under the guise of fairness—is that it inadvertently empowers the very mediocrity that exceptional societies must resist. While it may appear noble or politically sophisticated to preserve all viewpoints and accommodate ideological diversity, the reality is that mediocrity, when institutionalized, becomes a corrosive force. It stifles innovation, suppresses excellence, and erodes the competitive spirit that drives societal advancement. Democrats, often aligned with collectivist ideologies like socialism and Marxism, have historically championed policies that prioritize equality of outcome over merit-based achievement. In doing so, they mask mediocrity as compassion, and fairness becomes a Trojan horse for cultural stagnation. When Republicans yield ground in the name of bipartisanship, they risk legitimizing this mediocrity and weakening the foundations of a high-performing society. Authentic leadership demands the courage to elevate exceptionalism—not dilute it. Redistricting is not merely a cartographic exercise; it is a strategic opportunity to shape the future. If Republicans fail to assert dominance when the political terrain allows it, they may find themselves governed by the very forces they sought to contain. The Ohio map, while a tactical win, reflects a deeper philosophical hesitation—a reluctance to confront mediocrity head-on. And in that hesitation lies the danger of losing the war for cultural and political excellence.  So, while many think it was good to play nice with Democrats, the danger lies in compromise when standards are set and social norms are established.  A failure to take away the heart of mediocrity in a society advancing for greatness might appear to have a merit of its own.  However, in the context of achievement, it undermines the very foundation of excellence we strive for.  And in going forward with these mechanisms of government strategy, when you get a chance to put your foot on the throat of the enemy and put them out of existence, we should do it. Playing fair with Democrats if it brings down your entire society is not a good thing.  It might make those lunches with colleagues more approachable, less tense.  However, by letting mediocrity prevail over logic, nobody is enjoying a better life under the influence of compromise.

Republicans Played Too Nicely in the Election of 2025: Who to blame in the West Chester Trustee race

It is a bit surprising to listen to everyone’s post-election analysis, where they think Democrats did a lot better than they actually did.  In West Chester, Ohio, there is a lot of chest beating that Democrats found themselves in a lot of seats, especially the West Chester Trustee position, where I went to bed feeling like my guy, Mark Welch, the incumbent who has done a good job, came in third in a six-person race for two spots, was going to win.  There was a Trojan horse effect there, where the average person didn’t know who the Democrats were.  In the West Chester race, that certainly would be the case.  Mark was a Republican-endorsed candidate, but there wasn’t much advertising for the Democrats running, as they hoped to slip under the radar without the general public knowing who they were.  I still felt Mark was strong enough to win anyway.  I might have had disagreements with the way that Republicans set themselves up for this election.  But I wasn’t surprised by anything in Virginia, New York, or California.  Where Republicans ran away from President Trump, Republicans lost to Democrats, and it’s pretty much that simple.  Republicans, the same old Never Trump types, a year after his magnificent election, tried to go it alone, and they lost.  I hear a lot of analysis, and they are all mostly missing the point.  The Republican Party traditionalists still don’t want to admit what MAGA America really is.  The West Chester race, like the Lakota levy issue, truly captured a national sentiment worth mentioning.  I’ve spoken to Mark, and he’ll have the opportunity to do many great things.  Meanwhile, West Chester was warned what electing a bunch of Democrats would do, which is what the Lakota school board has been experiencing.  And people are going to have to learn some hard lessons. 

But here’s the deal.  While I support and endorse various candidates, and I certainly did endorse Mark Welch, I disagreed with the “niceness” campaign.  Mark is a nice guy, but everyone has to remember he won as a Tea Party conservative, and the Republican Party at that time was led in that effort by a scrappy George Lang, who when pressed can be pretty ruthless to those he runs against.  It was the Tea Party types who went out and fought to put Mark on the Board of Trustees of one of the most successful communities in America, and he has been great in that position.  Over time, people have forgotten what it took to get there and what it takes to keep a community great.  New York is going through that same cycle. Over time, people get complacent when things are stable for a long time, and they dare to make changes that might sound “nicer.”  And when it comes to me and many political people, there are always these tagalongs who aren’t very savvy, and they certainly don’t like me.  When I see Mark at an event and speak to him, there are always those who swoop in after me and ask him why he gives me the time of day.  There are lots of whispers in the ears of some of these people who want to believe that the world is something other than what it is, and that I should not have a place in it.  But I’ll tell you what, if I were managing Mark Welch’s campaign, he wouldn’t have lost.  I would have advised him to be a lot more competitive and a less smiling, more angry, Mark.  The belief was that Mark needed to get Democrats to vote for him, so he needed to be more like Lee Wong, whom conservatives thought of as safe to vote for, but who would undoubtedly receive a bleed over of Democrat votes.  The belief was that in West Chester, if you wanted to win the trustee seat, Democrats would have to step over and vote for Mark. 

But in truth, as it was everywhere in the country, it’s the MAGA base that supports Trump that everyone had to tap into.  Because even there, there are already Democrats who have left the party and are voting for Republicans because of Trump.  So, in Mark’s case, and this is the fault of all those people who whisper in his ear when I leave the room, playing “keep away” with these office seats is not the way to win.  Democrats are trying to sneak under the door, and Republicans are trying not to look too mean to win over Democrats.  When the real desire is for MAGA Republicans to grow in number, and people in West Chester would have loved to know that Mark was much more MAGA than just being a nice guy incumbent.  The reason why Mark didn’t pull out one of the two top spots was engagement.  The MAGA people, the old Tea Party types, weren’t excited about this election cycle, so they stayed home.  And Democrats were desperate for relevancy, so they worked the polls, mailed out their mailers, knocked on doors, and tried to sneak under the door wherever possible so people wouldn’t know who they were.  Mark worked hard, but the people around him were on their heels, and that was obvious.  They were on cruise control and wanted him to play keep away, to not do anything that might steer away those Democrats that they are so afraid of. 

This year, more than other years, I have been doing a lot of video coverage of important political figures, not because I’m some radical right winged maniac, as those people who were whispering to Mark criticisms toward him for even talking to me, but because I know what I’m talking about and I always know how to handle these kinds of things with an excellent track record.  If someone listens to me, they will have a significantly better chance of winning their issue, regardless of who they are.  I’m so good at it that lots of people want to pay me a lot of money to do it, but I look down my nose at that kind of business, because I don’t respect people who take money for something that is essentially part of our republican form of government.  It should be a labor of love, in my opinion, not something you profit from.  So I already don’t respect a lot of those types of people who are critical of me.  Everything gets back to me, so I know who those people are.  And I think so little of them that I don’t even waste my time speaking with them at a lot of those events.  I see them as a waste of time.  They don’t understand the game, and they don’t respect the people who vote.  They are busy trying to make the world into what it isn’t.  Because they like Democrats secretly, and they don’t want to fight them, they want to get along with them.  I advocate destroying them.  Why wouldn’t you want to destroy people who are trying to ruin our civilization?  And I understand that a lot of the people I’m talking about don’t think of things on a vast scale for the actuality of existence.  That’s the only way I think.  So do I care if they find my outlook repulsive? Absolutely not.  I see them as a waste of time, and they have a lot to learn about life.  And when they give bad advice, as they certainly have been, don’t be surprised when your guy loses.  Republicans lost in races they could have won because they were too nice to Democrats.  And it’s that simple.

Dirty Tricks by the Pro Levy People at Lakota Schools: Trying to sneak their issue under the door at the last minute

Just a few observations about the upcoming Lakota school levy, the biggest and most ridiculous in the state of Ohio, where they essentially want to tear down a bunch of schools and rebuild all new schools, to make the classrooms smaller and drive up payroll by hiring more teachers to teach the same number of students.  It’s expensive and stupid, but what do we expect from these people?  But there is a lot more to notice than just how flat-footed their campaign is.  We always talk about how liberal they are who run and manage the school, and as they are pushing for their levy passage, they look to have taken their entire campaign out of the Kamala Harris playbook.  They have waited until essentially two weeks before the election to put out their signs, and what they have put out is a minimal number.  I’ve been all over the district and was looking for more signs in places more friendly to their position, but they are pretty flat, and where they do have signs, they have tried to appear bigger and more of a mainstream position.  Especially in places where Mark Welch has yard signs, they have been attempting to put the limited amount of signs that they do have next to him to give people the illusion that he supports the Lakota levy, when I know for sure, he does not.  These are not politically savvy people running the Lakota campaign for their massive tax increase, which is fine with me.  I want to see that levy crash and burn more than anybody.  But things have changed a lot over the last ten to twenty years, since I was on the front line of these things, and it’s certainly worth talking about.  Of course, anything can happen in an election; it will all depend on turnout.  But the Lakota people are certainly on their back foot on this one.

It costs a lot of money to run these campaigns, and usually, Lakota schools have plenty of mad moms trying to hide how terrible they are for their kids from the public by supporting the schools that give them a free babysitting service, because they are too lazy to be good parents themselves.  It’s a well-known personality type, the mad and crazy mothers who campaign for tax increases on other people’s property.  And even worse than those neurotic types come their queer eye for a straight guy husbands, who are more interested in doing the dishes, hoping to get laid by their wives’ best friends husbands because they are so progressive themselves, that all traces of manhood have vanished from their cell structure like clowns at an anti-mime rally.  (that’s how you know that I don’t use AI to write my articles, I do everything the old fashioned way)  And watching their campaign this time around, after watching lots of campaigns from the past, it looks like their entire approach to this tax increase is based on that inner firing squad of transgender losers, wife-swapping scandals, and corporate bootlickers too busy to know that their children had their 8th birthday.  They don’t understand the forces against them because they haven’t worked very hard to get to know them, and you can tell by the way they have put out their signs and raised money for the effort.  They are doing what I call the Kamala Harris approach, where they know they have a weak position and their strategy is to surprise everyone at the last minute, before anybody knows what’s really going on.  And where they are present, they are trying to affiliate themselves with well-known politicians, like Mark Welch, who is an obvious frontrunner for the upcoming West Chester trustee race.

Another thing that I noticed while driving around the district is that there are a lot fewer businesses supporting this levy than there used to be.  The school has always acted like a bunch of mobsters when it came to pushing for business support.  If businesses did not support massive tax increases, those businesses were attacked by that mob of angry moms, and they’d try to inspire a boycott against those businesses.  Lakota schools traditionally has quite a collection agency force that is very aggressive on tax shakedowns, and they have been pretty ruthless.  But things have changed over the years; it’s been a long time since Lakota went for a tax increase because the community has been so hostile toward them.  And the shoe is on the other foot now, for sure.  When the mad moms think they are getting a hook in the water by putting their signs next to Mark Welch, to attempt to trick voters into supporting massive tax increases, hoping to get bleed off votes from low information people, there is an air of desperation looming over the whole effort.  I could tell a lot of stories about the past where the outcome was never obvious.  I have done interviews with some of the big media, a Channel 5 broadcast on prime time television comes to mind, where the pro-Levy people had the streets all lined up with supporters, and they looked like everyone was going to vote for them.  Then they’d put me in a lonely parking lot, trying to make it look like I was on my own and had little support from anybody.  And once the election happened, the silent majority showed up and crushed the visuals in embarrassing ways.  Those were the old days, and these Lakota people are certainly not functioning from that kind of strength.

It costs about $5 per yard sign.  And based on the yard signs, you can tell the strength of the political party because the early investment usually indicates how much community support there is ahead of the election.  On the No More Taxes at Lakota side, the push was to raise about $20K to fight this levy attempt and to be prepared for follow-up attempts after this first one fails.  For Lakota’s side, once the filings get reported, it would not be surprising that their donations are in the six figures, as many schools are these days.  But in Lakota’s case, that money isn’t seen yet, and obviously, they are worried about giving people too much time to learn the facts, so they are doing a last-minute push just like Kamala Harris did, hoping to catch people a little off guard, which doesn’t spell confidence in their position.  They don’t have many signs out really late in the campaign.  The No More Taxes campaign has had its signs out since the last week of September.  So, impressions by the public who didn’t already have a strong opinion on the matter were being made during October.  But early voting has already been going on, so the Lakota effort has been noticeably flat-footed.  And where they hoped to win over people, they are trying to give the illusion that a popular local trustee, Mark Welch, is on their side, which he most certainly isn’t.  But those are the strategies of the desperate, and not very smart.  And a group of people who think that everyone is with them when they are only talking among themselves, with a couple of cats and dogs to greet them at the door.  When it comes to the community as a whole, I think they are in for quite a shock when the reality of the vote totals comes in.  They don’t seem to know just how bad people have come to hate them.  But they will, the election is near.  And for all the normal people out there, those who are not dysfunctional misfits hoping to hide in society through an overly liberal education built on a foundation of DEI hires, make sure to vote NO on the Lakota Levy, and do it in a big way.  These losers need to learn a lesson.

Meet the Candidates for Butler County Commissioner: Why Michael Ryan is the best

So, why Michael Ryan over the other two people running for the same Butler County Commissioner seat?  Well, a nice walk down High Street in Hamilton, Ohio, makes it all very clear.  Cindy Carpenter is the incumbent in this race, and she has held that seat for about 15 years.  The other is Roger Reynolds, who used to be the auditor of Butler County.  Before getting into any of the negative stuff, let’s just say that Michael Ryan is a good fresh start for the Butler County Republican Party, and he is coming into the race highly endorsed by a lot of very important people.  And he has great donors who are supporting him early in this process, which was quite evident at his October fundraiser.  Michael Ryan doesn’t have any baggage; he and his wife are a really good couple, and what he has done as vice-mayor of Hamilton has been very enterprising.  The good job that he and the city council have done for Hamilton is obvious just by walking down the streets of the West Side.  I was born in Hamilton.  I’ve lived in and around it most of my life.  And I have traveled all over the world and have an excellent idea of what good is, and the Hamilton of today is fantastic.  And Michael Ryan has a lot to do with its recovery from a not-so-good place.  Ryan has been optimistic and shown a remarkable ability to work with others to make things that seem impossible happen.  And there really aren’t many people anywhere better for the Butler County Commissioner job than Michael Ryan.  Butler County is lucky to have him, and I think he could do great things for the County over the next decade. I’m very excited to vote for him. 

But why not Cindy Carpenter?  Well, Cindy has always been thought of as a RINO.  Most of the time, she has run unopposed.  She has been a yes vote on police budgets.  But she has essentially been a Democrat socially, and recently proved it by campaigning for the Democrat mayor of Middletown, Ohio, Elizabeth Slamka.  Cindy was caught at a voting location openly pushing for the Democrat, and it was all caught on camera, which was very embarrassing for her.  Of course, when Cindy was caught, there wasn’t much she could say; she was the Republican endorsed candidate openly pushing for a Democrat mayor in a town that needs a lot of help, Middletown.  Simply put, after all these years, that’s the best Cindy can do, and she will never be a spectacular success.  She has had her chance; we know what she is, and we know she supports Democrats and doesn’t respect the endorsement process.  It’s not like the Elizabeth Slamka issue was in the past; it was very recent, and I think it ruined her forever.  She’ll never be able to live it down.  We’re in a period of party politics that wants more MAGA representatives, and Cindy isn’t one of them.  She’s too much of the kind of politics that people want to run away from.  Not to sign up for another term, especially when they openly support Democrats who have proven to be really detrimental to cities and counties where they gain a majority.  Hamilton didn’t improve because of people like Cindy Carpenter.  It improved despite her.  Michael Ryan gets much of the credit, and we want a lot more of his kind of presence.  I’m sure Ryan will support police budgets, even as tax cuts become a higher priority for him.  In a one-for-one comparison, all the positives go to Michael Ryan, and there are none for Cindy Carpenter.  She did her thing, it wasn’t perfect, and she is a closet Democrat.  So let’s dump her and move on to someone better.

The other candidate is someone I’ve supported in the past.  I would have preferred that he not run until he got his life back together after a rough trial he just went through, which cost him well over a million dollars.  I was very supportive of him during all that, so people are wondering why I’m not supporting him for commissioner.  Well, through the trial, I got to know him better.  I’ve known him for a long time, and I like him.  But he tends to get combative with people, and you learn a lot about them by how they handle pressure.  And under pressure, Roger Reynolds showed he’s someone people want to fight.  And that’s how he ended up in court to begin with.  As a commissioner, you need to be able to work with people and build relationships.  And Roger has a hard time with relationships.  So I might like the guy.  But he’s not ready for a public office.  He has had relationship problems with his wives, and in my book, if you can’t handle a marriage, you are going to struggle with a lot of other things in your life.  And after listening to the testimony of the former Lakota treasurer, Jenni Logan, there was a lot of poor judgment that gave early indications of spousal commitments.  Most of those are private problems, but he’s the one who decided to run for office, even though there are a lot of red flags about him personally that have only muddied this race for what I think are really selfish reasons. 

I would have said the same thing about President Trump’s marriages, and it took me a while to start taking him seriously.  I’ve met Trump several times, especially during the early Tea Party and Reform Party years.  And I’ve met Melania Trump, too, and I’ll say she’s been good for Trump and has made him better for the public office he’s now doing so well in.  Maybe Roger will find someone who will help him improve as a person, like Trump did.  But right now, he has a lot of digging to do to get out of a hole he put himself in.  And, unfortunately, he is seeking redemption through public office, even though a much better person is running for the job.  Roger is damaged goods, and he needs to present himself undamaged.  And it’s not just marriages that Roger has destroyed.  He has relationship problems, which raise major red flags for a job like this commissioner position.  Again, Roger has been around for a long time, and everyone knows what they are getting.  He’s not going to do anything significant.  But Michael Ryan has a chance to, so it’s really not a hard decision for voters.  Because of the way the world is changing toward better MAGA options at these positions, Michael Ryan is the only reasonable choice.  That’s why I am happy to support him over these other candidates.  If Roger wants to return to public office, he needs to fix some things about himself first.  Seeking redemption by voter validation isn’t healthy.  And Butler County needs to do good things for itself, not provide a platform for personal growth at the expense of progress.  And that is what anybody but Michael Ryan would be for the Republican Party, Hamilton, Ohio, in general, and Butler County as a whole.  People deserve the best person for the office, and for me, nobody would be better than Michael Ryan.
