Julie Shaffer’s Facebook: My response to the salacious Enquirer article

It’s true; when I was with No Lakota Levy we did approach Patti Alderson at the Community Foundation to partnership with them to attempt to heal the community. We had a plan to give substantial amounts of money to help kids and the community as a whole, but within a week of making the announcement public, Patti decided that it wouldn’t be a good idea and pulled away from the community unifying idea. Disappointed our guys went to work to begin our own foundation to be able to help the community in some way.

(To review this story as it personaly affected me CLICK HERE.)

The maneuver to me appeared to be completely motivated by community politics. Word from within the Lakota front who inform me of many things, let me know that a group that fights tax levies cannot be seen helping children, because to their minds the only thing that can help children was passing tax increases. Now, my opinion of Patti is that she does a lot of good in the community for what I see, but she stuck her name on my personal situation, and since her name appeared in probably the most salacious article the Cincinnati Enquirer has ever produced, I have to address her involvement and what led up to the demise of something that was intended to be very good.  (You can review that article here)

Shortly after this collapse of the No Lakota Levy reaching out to help heal the community while the levy fights continue I attended one of the large school board meetings at Lakota East and was shocked at the amount of parents who urged the board to attempt to pass yet another levy for the fourth time, instead of asking the union to take a 5% wage cut to balance the budget. I reported my findings at this article, CLICK HERE.

The more I thought about the situation, the refusal of the pro levy people to work with the anti levy people for the good of the community, and the push by a handful of parents to advance another tax increase on a community that already has high taxes, the short sightedness of it all stirred me into a rage. While all this was going on I was getting comments and messages along with information from my “feelers” within the school that I was anti child, anti education, and bad for the community in an effort to paint me negatively in front of their next campaign. Yet it was the group I was associated with that was reaching across the aisle to bring peace. And that peace was refused because the pro levy factions needed to maintain the public image that No Lakota Levy was a group bad for the community.  Because their message was that if you want to do “good” for the community then a new levy needed to be passed.

This blog site of Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom has become over time to be something like a newspaper that many people come to for information. Its numbers compete with small press newspapers daily, so I decided to take advantage of my site to stir the pot a bit and paint the picture of the situation as I saw it using a graphic metaphor. I didn’t hold back, for one, a blog site has an expectation to be a different news source than a traditional newspaper. So my readers like to see passion when I exhibit it, which was genuine. But I also wanted to see if I could smoke out some of these pro levy people who worked behind the scenes to make it so good things couldn’t happen, so the illusion that it was Lakota Schools who held all the cards in doing good things for the community could be exposed.

When I put up the controversial articles, I was a little disappointed that I didn’t get much reaction from the pro levy people. I shrugged it off and moved on. Approximately two weeks later the No Lakota Levy group had our press conference announcing the new foundation to help kids and it felt good to do something positive. The press enjoyed it. But ironically, the pro levy people seemed to become infuriated in a way that I wouldn’t have guessed. You can see some of their comments about me personally here upon this announcement.  (CLICK HERE)  And as you can see when reading those things, people used far worse language than I did in the bit I wrote and it was personalized where my wasn’t.

Within three days of our big press conference, Julie Shaffer went to my articles and took out sections of them and put them on her Facebook as seen below. Keep in mind that Julie has worked on previous levy attempts and she is now a school board member. Her intention here is to fan the flames of her supporters obviously against me. I wanted to see her do this, but what is most telling is that she waited until I was involved in something very good to take the shot.

I didn’t get all the screen shots from the posting, but down the page a bit was Pam Parino urging Julie to send this information to her “friends” at WLW, which she apparently did. Pam is a long time levy activist; you can see how she attempted to extort WLW a few years ago at this link. Now I still get along with people at WLW, but I was surprised at how they turned on me during the broadcasts of March 15th 2012, especially considering how they chose to broadcast. But I was told by Scott Sloan that I am a public figure and that I couldn’t say these kinds of things even if similar statements were made on their very shows. I disagree. I may be a public figure, but I am not a public servant. I can say whatever I want and it’s up to me to decide if voters will reject or embrace it. Not any social standard. It’s my risk to take.

My feelers at Lakota told me that the superintendent was personally sending out links to Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom to “community leaders.” My initial response was, “good, maybe they’ll learn something.” Then some of my friends asked me to take out some of the things I said which might affect the good work they were trying to do, which was fair enough, so I put the articles that might cause such trouble on password protect not to protect me, but to protect them. The entire time I saw no reason to not stand by my statements.

Within days the anger mounted and I was getting very heated messages like, “Rich Hoffman, you’re going down!” I knew the pro levy people were mounting an offensive, which I anticipated two weeks prior, so I wasn’t surprised. But once the Enquirer article came out, I was a bit surprised. It was way over the top and made me realize I should have just kept the article up so people could have seen the context of the metaphors I was using to describe the situation. Because the way that Mike Clark assembled his article painted me in such a bad way that there was no way to explain it without a tremendous back-story, which there wasn’t time for. I agreed to do the Scott Sloan show and I didn’t have a problem with the hard nature of that interview, but I was surprised at how he inflamed the situation after our interview, which again was fair play. Their ratings at my expense. When WLW called me later in the day to see if I would do a spot on Eddie and Tracy’s show I said no, because they had put me in a really bad position. Eddie and Tracy tried to call me out on the air knowing I almost said yes to the interview, so they attempted to push me over the edge to get me to come on. But they only had a piece of the story, and openly calling me a sexist all day long broke friendships that I felt for some of those guys, who have used worse language than I did on many occasions. So I elected not to blow my top on the air for 200,000 people to hear, and to calm down. Yet the blood was in the water, and I put it there to learn the lay of the battlefield. When I wrote that quote I wanted to see if Julie would take the bait, I wanted to see how Mantia would react, and who was in the pro levy network so I could figure out how to fight them. Because taking a passive approach wasn’t working. After three levy failures, it was still the minority who sought to impose on the majority their intentions for a levy increase and they had a network that was vast enough to prevent our work with an independent foundation headed by a powerful local personality in Patti Alderson. So I needed to see how these people were connected. When they thought they had me on the fence they emerged with bold words. Patty felt strongly enough about me to speak before the Lakota school board. She wanted to clarify that her group, which also raises money for needy Lakota students, has no affiliation with Yes to Lakota Kids. Alderson told the board audience of more than 200 people, that No Lakota officials had approached the foundation last month but that “we refused to accept their funds.” She said that with a pride that I found fascinating. She also said, “We refuse to accept funds where political statements are attached.” What she should have said is that she refuses to accept funds that had political statements that she didn’t agree with, because by endorsing the pro levy faction she is supporting the political position of the school, and not the entire community.

Out of all the terrible news that came from the Enquirer article the parts that actually made me laugh that day were from West Chester Township Trustee Catherine Stoker who said “the language used by Mr. Hoffman is not only egregiously offensive, but reflects badly on the No Lakota group that Mr. Hoffman supports.” So does that mean the No Lakota group had a good name before all this? If so, then why was our help turned down? And who in the world is Catherine Stoker? She’s a public servant. She should have shut her mouth and done some work instead of trying to grandstand on my head, which is what she was doing as a favor to Superintendent Mantia and the pro levy people. And who decides what’s egregiously offensive? Her? The pro levy people? Or these next two pretentious specimens.

Lakota school mother Kim Hesselgesser said “I was very disgusted by the blog Rich Hoffman posted.” I was also very saddened for this extremely disturbed man. To me it is evident that he has some agenda that goes far beyond increased school taxes. Although I hate the fact that he is getting exactly what he wants – a lot of media attention. I feel it is worthwhile to make the public aware of who they are truly supporting when placing No Lakota signs in their yards. Pro levy or no levy…is that the type of person you want leading a group in our community?” Well, Kim, if you don’t like my blog postings—don’t read them. You refuse to see what’s right in front of your face. You have no right to say that I’m an extremely disturbed man. You have no authority to speak from. You read one thing I said because Julie Shaffer put it in front of your face and you cast a judgment without any thought, just like you do when you support a school levy. If someone like Julie, or Catherine tells you to pass a levy because it’s for the kids, then you do what they tell you without further consideration. And that’s the problem. We will still be paying off the debts your type of people bring to our community decades in the future because you can’t get your mind around the truth. You just listen to what people tell you to do, and you make statements about which you know nothing. I’d respect your opinion if it was yours, but it’s not. You have no right to tell all of Cincinnati that I’m an extremely disturbed man. Based on what? Because I don’t agree with you? You made that comment as a fact, not an opinion, and I’m considering in the back of my mind of what to about it next. I’m waiting to calm down before acting. I can see such things being said in online forums, blogs, blog comments, but it surprised me that The Enquirer printed that quote. That’s very dangerous stuff and yes, I am deeply pissed off about it. If that’s what you wanted, then you succeeded.

And Laura Sanders who has personally emailed me with what I consider to be messages way outside her level of expertise and who I personally addressed at this link (CLICK HERE) said “Mr. Hoffman uses misogynistic and vile language when addressing women and mothers because most teachers are in fact, women and mothers. He wants the public to think that he is merely attempting to rein in public school spending, but his underlying mission is really one of hatred and fear of women earning decent salaries. He alone is the destructive force behind the last three levy failures, and I hope this … convinces the women in our community that he is not a rational or credible source for the counterpoint argument.” Laura—you are out of your mind to paint me in such a fashion. While I am certainly not one who supports feminism, mainly because I think it has destroyed the modern family, it does not give you the right to paint me with the broad brush of stating what I think and making the high salary issue all about hating women. That is a pathetic argument and I can’t believe you said it. Just like Kim you used generalities to explain aspects of me that you know nothing about. If you did just a little research you would know what my number 1 Rule is on my Ten Rules to Live By. You can see those rules for yourself at the bottom of every signature at the end of every post I make. The number one rule is to honor women, because they are the pillars of our society. I believe in it so much that I wrote a book about it, and I made boys who dated my daughters read that book so they’d know my position. Those Ten Rules to Live By are in the back of that book published in 2004! Everyone and I mean EVERYONE who knows me, particularly women, knows how much I love them. I have daughters, I have been married for over24 years to the same person, and I have a lot of women friends. I help women carry heavy objects—always! I hold the door for them when they come in behind me—always! In fact I do a lot every day that doesn’t even begin to articulate the kind of person you and your pro levy friends have attempted to paint me as. And for what, so you could try to destroy me, and get me out-of-the-way so you could have your money!!!!!!! IS THAT WHAT YOU THOUGHT GAVE YOU THE RIGHT TO MAKE STUFF UP AND PUT IT IN THE PAPER ABOUT ME WHEN I’VE WENT TO GREAT TROUBLE TO BE OPEN HERE AND SHOW EXACTLY WHAT I AM! That’s what you have told the world through your actions!!!!!! You spoke about nothing of which you had an understanding. You smelled my blood in the water and you crossed the line with made up assumptions!

I had a conversation about you with a man the other day who attends your church. He told me you are just the sweetest girl there is and he tried to calm me down after that email that you sent me which I was still mad over a week after you sent it. I listened to him and took your actions as just political rhetoric and blew it off. But what you said in the paper was not just inflammatory, it was personal, and your type of people believe you have a right to step all over me to get what you want. My comments might have been audacious, but they were left obscure on purpose. I wanted badly to reveal the names I was thinking of when I wrote the salacious blog posting, but I didn’t because that would make it personal, and even if I want to bring my enemies down, that is not the way to do it. There is a difference between political rhetoric and personal attacks and what you, and your pro levy friends did to me on Thursday was a personal attack designed to hurt me in every single way possible, and I had planned for you to do it. But I was disappointed to be right once again. I will tell all of you something. There will be payment given to me in one fashion or another for what happened on Thursday. You can decide for yourselves what that is and I expect at a bare minimum a public apology. Failure to act will dictate action on my part.

This isn’t just about name calling anymore. I am happy to argue back and forth, and even debate on the radio as we have in the past in friendly competition. And when you make yourself a public official you make yourself prone to attacks. And when you work in a government job, you are prone to tax payer scrutiny. But I have made a choice to never be involved in an elected position because I want the freedom to be able to speak my thoughts, even when they are outlandish to get my point across, because sometimes that’s what it takes. But what the people mentioned in this article attempted to do was destroy me for standing in their way, and that WILL not be tolerated or left unresolved!

I stand by my comments that I posted. I wrote it as a metaphor to the type of woman who just don’t grasp fiscal concepts, and their opinions should therefore be discarded in political theater. I spoke in generalities to protect the real people I was thinking of even though I was very angry with them for desiring to drag our community through a fourth levy attempt. But what the women above did was turn me personally into the poster child for progressive politics to attempt to remove me the way they have for many years any barrier that stood in their path. If I had to guess, 80% of all legislation that gets discussed daily in any governmental body has it’s start with these same radical types who came after me so aggressively, so the same blind pro levy supporters who refuse to look at any facts and vote purely on emotion are the same who lobby members of the house and senate to pass all types of ungodly legislation, and pass more rules of every kind in every neighborhood across America. It’s these pro levy types who have made it so a kid can’t just go out and ride a bicycle anymore, but have to arm themselves from head to toe with padding and helmets. I see these radical progressive agenda driven pro levy supporters as being a huge problem on not just our communities but our human race, and I said what I said to call them out on it, to let them know that they aren’t fooling anyone—maybe themselves. I used a metaphor that was taken literally to use against me as a political maneuver which was fine, but everyone mentioned here took it several steps further and for all different reasons. Some of those reasons were strictly economic. Some were political. But mostly it was pure hatred for anyone who thinks different from the pretentious pro levy supporters. And these people felt they had a right to “destroy” me and everything I have ever been, or will be.

And it all started on Julie Shaffer’s Facebook. See what happens when you elect a levy activist onto your school board. And do you see now what kind of school board we have? She’s the Vice-President. What does that say about how wrong the entire situation is and what we have been fighting against? And since they can’t win the arguments against me with facts, they sought with every gun available to them to destroy the mouth piece.

It’s not Lakota as a school that I am fighting. The school will still be there if every employee were removed, and the kids would still be successful because the parents in general of Lakota, as I’ve said many times, will make sure it stays good. I’m fighting the radicalism that has embedded itself into our tax dollars. And to continue that fight, I have to do it my way using my network of Overmanwarrior’s to help get under the covers. This group has always been the force that supplied No Lakota Levy with information, so the attempt to separate me from No Lakota Levy was a lot of energy spent on nothing. I know there is a lot of disappointment because the assumption was that the members of No Lakota Levy were funding me, and if I were cut off from them, I’d be rudderless. But my funding comes from my professional writing endeavors and exemplified by my The Symposium of Justice where my Ten Rules are published.  I wouldn’t bring it up if my integrity had not come into question. It’s my personal projects that allow me to fight like this. That’s also why at the bottom of the book on the front cover it says, “Tyranny has a new enemy.” Did you just think it was silly words on the cover? I meant it literally! So nothing that happened Thursday was unforeseen. I knew what to expect. But my disappointment is in being right and to witness firsthand the destructive nature of my neighbors and the manipulation that can be employed to advance an agenda even if it costs lives.

And if you want to know who I am and what I believe, look at my Ten Rules to Live By. I don’t talk about my books during levy discussions because I don’t want to confuse any messages with the selling of books. So I just put the link out for those interested, and never mention it otherwise. But those are my beliefs and I live by those every single day. I should know them, because in this case—I wrote the book on the subject—so I know the material well. The person that I am and what these reckless characters described in this article tried to paint me as are not even close to the same thing.  The words used to describe me by these people mentioned here are as far from the truth as one could get.  They took small little bits of information because they didn’t want to work for the truth even though I placed it here for all to see.  They did with me what they do with the funding problems at Lakota, saw what they wanted to see and assassinated the characters of anyone who stood in the way of what they wanted.

Here are the rules I live by:

1. To honor women, they are the pillars of society.
2. Stand as an example of the highest moral order.
3. Avoid mental depletion such as intoxication, and ignorance.
4. Pursue learning like a person on fire pursues water.
5. Live with integrity, where values are in line with behavior.
6. Live the given life, not the dreams of others.
7. In a crisis handle everything calmly and without confusion.
8. Be capable of firmness in the heart.
9. Sorrow is everywhere, accept it with a smile.
10. Resist hiding in numbers, stand as an individual contributor.

And to add a bit to that, I consider telling the truth even if the names are ugly to be of the highest moral order. That’s why I stand behind my comments.  The truth does not live behind political correctness.  It lives in the facts.

Lakota Superintendent Mantia: The employement contract

My anger at Superintendent Mantia of the Lakota School District is not some unwarranted diatribe incited by a simple disagreement. There is a history which is shown at the beginning and ending of this article where I gave two public presentations, one for Educate Ohio in June of 2011 and again for the West Chester Tea Party in October of 2011 shortly before the election. One of the reasons the pro levy people think my arguments are combative, vitriolic and harsh are because they typically only speak with people of their own kind. They do not associate often with the 18,000 people who voted against the tax hikes, so are ignorant as to how the other side thinks, and they make no attempt to understand. This is why both groups that I spoke to about Superintendent Mantia and my high hopes that she would get the Lakota budget under control were greater in number than those who attend the typical school board meeting. We have a lot of supporters in the No More Tax Effort. If more levies passed in this recent election it is not because people support those schools, it’s that the schools wore out the resistance, which is by design. The message the schools send is that if a levy does not pass, it will be back. So resistance yields to the oppressive tactics of union controlled public schools.

For those levy supporters who think I’m some lone wolf who simply doesn’t want to pay taxes because I can’t afford it, keep indulging in that fantasy as you stay in your little circles of pro levy supporters thinking that you are good because you don’t know how to say NO. No Lakota Levy as an organization and our supporters are deep, and active, as you can see in my public presentations over education. In my presentations I defended Mantia hoping that she would do as those of us in No Lakota Levy do routinely, and that is make hard decisions to balance our budgets. And I feel like she made me look bad for giving her the benefit of the doubt. In fact, every core member of No Lakota Levy has had to work with budgets in the millions of dollars, had to fire, hire or ask employees for wage freezes or reductions, and have had to spend many sleepless nights rolling around over those decisions. That is why we have no sympathy for Superintendent Mantia. She has turned out to be not what she sold to the community, and we are disappointed—me specifically. Residents from Pickerington warned me how Mantia was, and they were right.

I know the tricks of school superintendents. I know what they learn in Levy University in Columbus because I’ve read the same books and material they have. I got this material from my friends who are current school board members and have attended this class. My information also comes from former school board members who want to blow the whistle on the corruption that goes on in public education. The tricks are standard for every school and are designed by the Ohio School Board Association and the Ohio Education Association to extort from the public using Saul Alinsky’s methods of consensus, money if communities refuse to increase taxes on themselves. Those methods include, cutting busing to increase the burden on parents and force them to pass a levy. If that doesn’t work, schools take away liberal arts electives. If that doesn’t work they make sports pay-for-play. And if that doesn’t work they lay-off teachers at the bottom of the seniority ladder to scare parents into a declining school district and plummeting property values. These methods are used in every single school in the entire state of Ohio because they all share a connection to the OSBA in Columbus.

Another OSBA strategy is to form good relationships with realtors in a community so that home sales will be directly connected to school levy support. That’s why Joan Powell, former president of the Lakota School Board and current board member is so involved at Lakota—her full time job is that of a realtor. And one of Lakota’s biggest pro levy supporters is another realtor, Pam Perrino. CLICK HERE TO REVIEW HER INVOLVEMENT AGAINST MY GROUP. This is all by design at the Ohio School Board Association (OSBA). It’s a system designed to stack the schools and labor unions against the community. Both of those women will tell you they do what they do because it’s in their heart to do so, but they were brought into the circle of power because of their status as realtors. They may not be aware of it because they are only looking at their small piece of the pie, but they are part of the overall strategy, and they play their roles in levy advancement as expected.

And this is the reason for the disappointment in Superintendent Mantia. No Lakota Levy thought that Mantia should have proposed a wage reduction to the school employees in order to sustain the district far into the future. That way everything the public expects from the school could have still been maintained, busing, sports, electives and so on. But Mantia chose to preserve the system designed by the OSBA and imposed hardship on the residents just as the OSBA teaches at Levy University. In fact, she followed the text-book of levy passage taught at Levy University word for word. And this is simply unacceptable.

So this is the reason for the anger. We are not a stupid group of people at No Lakota Levy. In fact, we’ve seen it all, done it all, and could perform many of the decisions we are asking Mantia to make in our sleep without breaking a sweat. The solutions are so obvious and so easy that it doesn’t even require thought. But Superintendent Mantia is taking up a quarter million dollars in compensation from the district’s tax payers and she has not done the job we expected. She instead stood up for the teachers union that she started in as a teacher herself, and she knows as a double-dipper that she would never receive such a high salary with such poor performance in any other occupation but school superintendent. She is standing up for the system that has made her wealthy by employing these extortion measures taken straight out of the OSBA Levy University Class given every November the week after elections in Columbus, Ohio.

So I’m putting up the contract for Superintendent Mantia here for the residents of Ohio to see, so they can see what a juicy deal she has—a deal she would get no place else in any field of work. If Superintendent Mantia were in the private sector she would not stay employed for a single week making the level of income she currently is. I wouldn’t mind paying for a token superintendent job if it wasn’t filled with so many perks and loaded as if she were a celebrity on a Hollywood film; it deserves close scrutiny from a public that must fund her lifestyle for performance that is lackluster in only 6 months of employment. I would encourage you dear reader to watch these videos completely, especially the radio broadcast, and read this contract. If you are interested in understanding the scoop of the problem, you can at least do that much. I’m making it easy for you.

Use the tools I’ve placed before you! This is a very serious problem that is much larger than just passing a tax increase or not.

This will determine the kind of world we chose to live in for the foreseeable future.

Now, to be fair, I had several friends who attended the school board meeting on Thursday, March 9th, and below is the report from one of them to me from that event, which does involve Superintendent Mantia.  Her response is one that I believe a person of her caliber should be able to handle over the position of a lawyer, because lawyers are in the pocket of the unions.   With the kind of contract Mantia has, I expect her to be smarter than the lawyers.  They make a lot less than she does.  But here is the final word as spoken from her mouth to my friend.

At 10:50 I stood and asked why they DIDN’T DO ANY CUTTING ANYWHERE and simply lowered salaries and benefits until they were BELOW the budget?
After the four of us who stayed to ask questions at the close of the evening were finished, Karen Mantia answered my suggestion.

She took about 15 minutes and said that solution had been considered, but she was warned by the lawyers that it was illegal and therefore OFF the table.
They are going to chop the Hell out of the Lakota School District to meet the budget.
SIMPLY lowering salaries is OFF THE TABLE, when the alternate is to virtually destroy the school system in Lakota?

Ms. Mantia said she and the Board DID NOT HAVE THE POWER to lower salaries and benefits.

She said WE had that power, referring to the NO Lakota Levy Group.

Thank You John Kasich: Shining a light on the darkness of human trafficking

John Kasich must be applauded for taking a very controversial stand against human trafficking in the early months of 2012. Human trafficking is modern slavery and it is an epidemic that I have covered extensively here at Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom.

It is always a good thing when a high-profile personality like John Kasich puts light on an issue that has been purposely kept in the dark for many reasons. To review my other articles about this very important issue, please refer to the following links:

Sex Trade Puppets and Pawns

Sex in Rio

Sex trafficking is not a victimless crime. It is 100% modern slavery and is every bit as evil as the slave trade in the 1600’s through the 1800’s here in the United States. No group should point at that time in American history as a sin while all the while letting it continue in the modern age.

I believe so much in this issue that I opened my novel The Symposium of Justice with a form of sex trafficking being broken up by a vigilante.  My editor at that time was so upset with me for refusing to take this scene out of the book that it cost me my relationship with that editor.  Few people realize just how wide-spread this modern human slavery penetrates our social network, but it is an epidemic without measure.

Thank you John Kasich for putting yourself out there to bring this very important issue to the front of people’s minds.

P.S. shortly after I posted this story, the Governor sent me an email.  It is as follows:

Dear Rich:

Thank you for your words of support. Human trafficking is a horrific crime and we are going to take strong action to stop this from happening.

I am proud and humbled to be serving as the 69th Governor of Ohio. As your Governor I will work to unite all Ohioans, and work towards the common purpose of creating new jobs and improving Ohio’s economy.

Ohio is a great state. I believe in the future of Ohio and have faith in the people of Ohio. We invite your continued input on the journey. If there is any way my office can assist you in the future, please do not hesitate to contact me.

The Day Lakota Died: February 13th 2012–the decision to be taken off life support

When Mike Schell of Fox 19 met me in the hall at Lakota East to get a few comments for his story on the epic school board meeting held at Lakota East’s auditorium that was packed to the ceiling with concerned Lakota residents, he asked me why I was there since I have been such a staunch advocate against the tax increases. I told him I was curious as to what the administration was going to do, that they had some time to get things right since the election, and I was coming to the meeting with an open mind hoping that Mantia and the gang of administrators were going to do something bold, and good for the future of Lakota. Mike then told me the cliff notes version of the meeting which he had in his hand. The proposal was 69 teaching positions cut and reducing the teaching day from a 7 period day to 6. I shook my head and told Mike I was disappointed. You can see the rest of the interview at the Channel 19 site and what I said next.

I was disappointed as I sat with my wife in the top row of the large auditorium and watched the proceeding with growing revulsion as the meeting began at 7 PM. To me, the school boards choice was an easy one. After the defeat of the levy in November, they had a mandate from the community with over 18,000 voters turning down their third levy attempt to ask the teachers union to take a 5% pay cut, which isn’t a big deal since the average pay at Lakota is $63K per year. That simple request would have put Lakota’s budget in line with the revenue stream coming to it where residents pay around $1,140 per 100K of property value on their businesses and residence. That tax is already high. So much so that it does discourage existing businesses and prospective businesses from coming to the Lakota district. That number is the breaking point, so from my vantage point and many who support the NO LAKOTA LEVY group, the tax burden needs to be decreased, not increased.

At the school board meeting the only way to describe my nausea at the obvious scheme to launch the district into a FOURTH tax levy attempt was to compare it to the visitation of a funeral. That’s how it felt. The participants on that large stage in front of a vast audience fumbled about like an episode of the Three Stooges. These buffoons had the audacity to attempt to attract this large crowd to the biggest venue in the district so they could show a PowerPoint presentation on a very large screen to look good for the cameras. I instantly recognized the tactic by Superintendent Mantia, because she used almost the exact same forum up in Pickerington when she lobbied for a levy passage that passed just this last August. The goal of the meeting, (THE REAL GOAL) was not to announce any real cuts. It was to say that the Lakota School System was going to go to state minimums and do only what they had to do to get by. In fact, the teachers are going to teach one less class a day since they are getting rid of the 7th period! So they are doing less work than they do now! How is that beneficial?

Hidden in the dialog throughout the evening was the reminder that if the community did pass a levy, that some of what was being taken away could come back as a kind of Plan B. The entire event was a page ripped right out of Saul Alinsky’s The Delphi Technique. The school board batted around comments like tennis players hitting a ball and a bewildered audience watched waiting for a score. A woman in front of me took vigorous notes until 8:30 as her three kids started getting restless. The meeting began with a lot of energy, but by 9 PM the energy had died and people started to look at the exits. The entire goal of the meeting was to drag out a large audience, complain about how little money the board had to work with, and then use a lot of terminology that the audience would think sounded impressive to appear efficient.

The only strategic option the school board had was to force the union to take further concessions and if the union refused, to use that against them in a public relations campaign. That is if the school board wished the future solvency of the district and not just some short shot in the arm from a tax increase by a levy passage. Increased taxes are not an option. It will cripple the growth of the Lakota district not only in families moving to the area, but also the commercial business that is prevalent in the community. Yet the school board showed at this latest meeting without any doubt that they are completely on the side of the union labor and lack the resolve to meet the budget crises head on and actually solve it. After several months of work after a failed levy, our triple dipping superintendent Karen Mantia from Pickerington, Ohio who makes nearly a quarter of a million dollars in overall compensation can do nothing more with her budget than cut teachers and services as an extortion racket to set up another school levy attempt in 2012.

I witnessed from the top row the funeral of public education, which I’ve never been a fan of, but saw it die right in front of my face. Any hope that public education could resurrect itself was beyond doubt gone from that stage at Lakota East on February 13, 2012. Lakota is the 7th largest district in the state of Ohio; it’s been excellent with distinction for over a decade. Lakota is the best of the best when it comes to public education, and it is a scam. So if Lakota is a scam, then what are all those schools who aren’t as good as Lakota? Lakota is a scam because there was never any intention to balance their budget no matter what combination of personnel was put on the board, because the system itself is on life support and what the audience has to do is decide whether or not to pull the plug or not.

As I watched a parade of parents plead with the school board to find ways to reach out to those of us in the NO LAKOTA LEVY so that some common ground could be found to pass the next levy, I saw a group of people addicted to money like a dying patient might be addicted to morphine. The public school of Lakota is comatose because its employees lack the will to make any hard decisions. They think the school exists so that their employees can make healthy incomes, double-dip in their retirements, have great insurance benefits, and have all summer off. And they are willing to feed off kids to achieve their goal. Their very lives require vast sums of money to feed their addiction and once that money is cut off it is clear that their collective minds lack any direction, imagination, or leadership to exist on their own. So the moment they are taken off that supply of money they become sick and are ready to die.

I’ve joked about it here, I’ve ranted about it on these very pages, but public education is in all essence dead. Tax levies are the life support that keeps them living, and they are in such a condition because they are money addicts. Their philosophy is essentially wrong and this has led to the addictive behavior that they don’t even understand about themselves. It was obvious to me and to others in the audience who see that the body is already dead even as that body attempts to put on a big show to pretend they are in fact alive and well. They aren’t. Because the moment there isn’t any money to keep them alive, they are ready to die, unable to break themselves of that addiction. The school as a whole would rather cut off parts of their body in labor reductions and reduce their offerings to the community as a service than adjust their bloated bodies with the hard decision of restructuring their lives to what the community is supplying them with in funding.

I left the meeting at a quarter till 10 PM as a slow boil of anger swelled within me well into the next day that finally erupted halfway through the following afternoon during a contentious conference call on an unrelated matter. As my wife and I left, it had the same feeling that we’ve had as we’ve left the visitation of a family member at a funeral. The school board members and supporters of public education are so far out of touch that they didn’t know they were already dead. Instead they reside like ghosts who refuse to move on hovering over their bodies in confusion as if somehow they would spring back to life.

It was sad to see, but also revolting all the same. It’s an insult to be told by a ghost how to live life, yet that is what the Lakota School Board did at their meeting. It’s like taking advice from an alcoholic how to avoid drinking too much; it’s an insult to listen to the slurred speech of the drunkard lecture on the evils of drinking. The school board instructed the audience of the need for cutting money while at the same time asking for more, so they could live just a few minutes longer, just one more year. Once 2014 hits the pay freeze will be lifted and Lakota will have an onslaught of employees expecting 3% to 6% increases to make up for their losses during the three-year pay freeze designed to get a levy passed.

Public education is a joke. The employees of the system are a joke. And the administrators are a joke and in bed with the employees. The whole system is a failure of money addicts lost in a reality of their own making. And they have committed their own suicide by their actions and lack of realism. When residents of the nearby neighborhood of Four Bridges are paying over $5000 a year on their homes, as both parents work hard to just keep their property as their value plummets and job opportunities are restricted, the idea of a further tax on homes like that are unbearable, not to mention the senior citizens on a fixed income or the businesses that are barely getting by and thinking of leaving their leases for a cheaper district. The Lakota School System under the leadership of the Ohio School Board Association in Columbus and the Ohio Education Association and its parent organization the National Education Association of socialists have painted themselves into a corner and expect to be rescued with life support to sustain their addiction to money. But the money isn’t there anymore and the community must now decide whether or not to pull the plug on a loved one in order to ease their own minds to the terminal patient that will never get better on their own.

To me the thing is already dead. It might look like its breathing; it might even look into your eyes. But it’s the drugs talking. In this case it’s a $160 million dollar plus budget that somehow isn’t enough. And given that fact, I’m prepared to pull the plug and leave the hospital. Because the death is inevitable—it’s just waiting for someone to make the hard decision.

Thanks Joe Jobs: The Channel 9 Story

I’d like to thank Joe Jobs for putting the Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom links out when Channel 9 posted their article about the Wednesday Lakota School Board meeting. I have so many articles posted that tell the story of why Lakota is in financial trouble, but I spend so much time doing research, reading and writing, that I don’t see all these little articles that come out. Joe noticed the article and put the Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom links up to share with all the viewers of that particular article.

I only learned about this article when I noticed a tremendous spike in the hits coming to the Lakota postings from Channel 9. You can view that article for yourself at the link below:

http://www.wcpo.com/dpp/news/region_north_cincinnati/west_chester/cuts-loom-for-the-lakota-school-district?CMP=201202_emailshare

The best weapon against high taxes we have is the facts, and I provide these articles for all you warriors out there to use in just such a fashion that Joe Jobs did in this instance. Many people, who don’t read very much, don’t listen to talk radio, and allow the school system to be their primary source of information still doesn’t know this information, and Lakota prays that these social conditions remain the case far into the future. But Joe Jobs used the tools of this website to get the word out to those who are still learning and for that I am greatly appreciative!

Thanks Joe! It’s people like you who can stop these tyrannical tax increases and spread the word for others to benefit. You are part of the solution which can only come through learning.

COMMUNIST CHINA SEEKS LAKOTA TEACHERS: Please send Ron Henrich

Perhaps it’s part of Superintendent Mantia’s Global Education program, or maybe it’s just sheer stupidity, but for some reason, Lakota is promoting the work of Ron Henrich, a social studies teacher at Hopewell Junior School at Lakota and his recent trip to China to help teach there. You can read the story for yourself on Lakota’s website at the link below.

http://www.lakotaonline.com/news.cfm?story=2979

I can understand if Quanyu Huang enjoyed Henrich’s teaching to such an extent that he wanted to feature him in a book published in 2000 called Quality Education in America which was the number one best seller in China, and that has led to an invite to fly Henrich and his family to Beijing to teach the Chinese students and teachers how he educates in America. What I can’t understand is why a local teacher and a Miami University professor are so vaulted in China, a country of over a billion people, and a society that is notoriously communist.

Lakota for its part is obviously looking at its staff and picking success stories so that they can market another levy to the public for a fourth tax increase attempt and they see this relationship between Henrich and Huang as a successful one that will impress the community. Lakota is very image conscious because they know the merit of their services have almost nothing to do with their actual work, but the perceived value the community surrenders to their cause. In fact, to understand just how much thought Lakota puts into its public image, and what types of manipulations of the public go on behind the scenes, have a look at the obtained documents shown in the linked article below to read for yourself how the process of manipulation is conducted for perspective on this Ron Henrich story. (I highly recommend you read the entire document)

https://overmanwarrior.wordpress.com/2011/12/30/document-request-from-lakota-the-kursman-incident/

So knowing that Lakota is attempting to place a perceived value of importance on the exploits of Henrich in Beijing, China is a calculated public relations feature designed to impress the public–Ron Henrich, Social studies teacher is a star in China. Well sorry Lakota, but that is not impressive. In fact it points sadly to the truth that critics like me have been uttering for years now, that public education run by government is teaching American children too much of the values of socialism in a global push toward communism, and they are doing it with our tax dollars.

I see that the typical administrator and teacher in these public schools do not bother to look at the big picture. They are simply behaving based on their training—within the same system. I doubt when Superintendent Mantia or the school board President Joan Powell—and yes Joan is still the president even though the board has attempted to take the light off her by voting Dibble in as the new president—think about such things as communism, socialism or capitalism when they think of themselves in the center of that debate. They just think about government jobs created and obtaining revenue to pay for their institution. They get their teaching content from the Department of Education, and do not consider it their place to question those of “higher” authority. But I do, because I have to pay for all this, and I have made the observation that kids don’t seem to be getting the kind of education that launches them into a successful life. Seeking answer’s I have discovered women like what is featured in the article at this next link, who used to be second in command at the Federal Department of Education. If you care about this issue at all, you should watch every video on that link. (Bet you didn’t know half that stuff dear reader)

https://overmanwarrior.wordpress.com/2011/06/07/charlotte-iserbyt-do-you-have-the-guts-to-listen-to-her-or-would-you-rather-go-back-to-sleep/

So news flash Lakota—it is not a good idea to promote the value of your teachers as being stars in a communist country when the accusation by critics like me is that public education teaches too much socialism and not enough capitalism. China is at war with the United States right now, but just not the kind of war we are accustomed to with tanks and troops. The war we are fighting right now is an economic one and if Quanyu Huang director of the Confucius Institute at Miami University; specialist on Sino-American cultural and educational comparison is as brilliant as he lets on, he knows that virtually every executive, every government member and mind of strategy in China looks to Sun Tzu and understands the merit of that great literary classic, The Art of War, defeating your enemy without conflict. Huang and Hemrich might believe that their invite and embrace into the Chinese culture is one that is an innocent blending of the two cultures, American and the Chinese into a global attempt at peace where we will all hold hands and sing songs around campfires. I’m sure these two believe that if America would just let go of some of its isolationist principles and China would drop some of their communist tendencies then the world would be far better off. Educators believe that their participation in such education opportunities might bring the world peace, and Lakota believes that it can ride on the backs of these two to obtain tax funds to pay for their poorly negotiated union contracts.

But here is the danger….I tried to buy this best seller of Huang’s but was unable to find it on Amazon, this best seller in all of China in the year 2000. That means the book is out of print, which is odd for a best seller—by the way, I know just a bit about the book business—so a publisher of such a highly regarded best seller would make the book more available, especially if millions and millions of Chinese think local teacher Ron Henrich is such a star in China. My guess is that the Chinese government sees Huang and his work as being so close to the communist philosophy of China that this is why they have embraced his efforts by allowing him to be a guest Professor at Sun Yat-Sen (Zhongshan) University, and visiting professor of the Training Program for High School Principals at Peking University while maintaining his regular instruction at Miami University.

The Chinese want to learn how American public schools are able to control such large sectors of the population and they want to learn from people like Ron Henrich and Quanyu Huang. How does that make you feel dear reader? Doesn’t it make you want to get some Chinese food?

Contrary to what some might think, I am not against Chinese culture. I agree with one of my favorite generals of World War II, that China is a culture that should have been nurtured under American supervision. But, we let China slip under communist rule, and until China no longer embraces communism of any kind, I see them as an enemy of America.  I have a deep sympathy for Chinese Americans and I routinely visit several local Chinese restaurants because I admire the work ethic of the owners, and their courage for leaving their homeland to find freedom in America.  (For context read my article on Chinese communist occupation and the struggle for freedom there in the late 1940’s.)

https://overmanwarrior.wordpress.com/2011/12/18/the-flying-tigers-learning-what-america-is-by-looking-at-the-past/

So no Lakota, it is not good to promote this global awareness unless in so doing, the goal is to prepare our children for rule under a Chinese flag. Because that is China’s intention, even if the academics are too pretentious to see it. If the teachers at Lakota want to go to Beijing and teach, maybe you should keep that off the radar, because that is not an asset to the Liberty Twp, West Chester community. And you should consider it an insult that out of all of China and America, it is Lakota that is considered the kind of school that a communist country wishes to emulate.

If the Lakota School Board wishes to disprove my accusations as to their ineptness, political naivety, greed, and arrogance, by publishing the exploits of Ron Henrich and his close association with Quanyu Huang, then they have proven themselves beyond help. Communism is NOT a good thing, and collaborations with countries that embrace it is not something to brag about. It certainly isn’t something which mandates even more tax dollars from the community so that we can help fund the teaching methods that China wishes to copy for their own benefit in the difficult task of controlling over a billion people to march under a communist flag.

It is not wise to fund our own demise, then brag about it as though it were a benefit of great merit. To learn more about China, I suggest you watch this very good film by Richard Gere called Red Corner (1987). I present it here in its totality. So grab a snack and enjoy a peek into a country run by communists who are seeking Lakota teachers to help educate their society.

By the way, Red Corner is banned in China. You can’t even see it on YouTube. And the execution scene was real, provided to the director at great risk to themselves. 1987 was not that long ago folks.

The Obama Folly: A famous mouse and Rich Hoffman visit the Clarkcast

The President’s speech during his annual State of the Union address would have been a good one if only there were value behind the words. Obama’s deeds over the last three years have spoke volumes as to his true intentions, so the well delivered lines spoken to millions of citizens on January 24, 2012 were merely those of a well rehearsed actor speaking lines given to him by his superiors—those who pay him money. Recently Matt Clark of the Clarkcast radio network http://www.clarkcast.com/ read portions of my article about Obama shutting down Disney World just one week prior to this address on his radio program where the real nature of this president was revealed at that event. You can read that article here:

https://overmanwarrior.wordpress.com/2012/01/21/main-street-u-s-a-closes-barack-obama-does-what-he-does-everywhere/

The value of Obama’s words in his speech has equal value to the act Matt did in the video below where Mickey Mouse called in to comment on Obama’s visit. In fact not only did Mickey call in, but Goofy too as they reacted to Obama shutting down Main Street USE in Disney World to give a self-serving political speech that was but a prequel to his State of the Union address. Now, of course Mickey Mouse did not actually call but was in fact played by Matt Clark as he essentially had a conversation with himself playing both roles. It was a very cleaver bit of radio, but more importantly, it shows how something that is just an act for fun, can sound so real. Just like Obama’s State of the Union speech. Obama is just a character in the game of politics, like Goofy in this skit below. Both are made-up characters who didn’t read their email properly.

The gist of the entire State of the Union speech is one to justify raising taxes. Obama is simply on the same level as every government organization who knows of no other option but to raise taxes to pay for their looting programs. What Obama doesn’t want to hear, or the hands up his ass that move his mouth, is that the real problem is not in raising taxes on the rich to “pay their fair share” but in questioning the value of the programs the looters intend to fund. Who says the tax requirements as they are now are justified? I don’t want to pay for The Department of Education. I don’t want to pay for the EPA. I don’t want to pay for a Justice Department that acts as character assassins for the President of the United States. In fact I don’t want to pay for all those lowlifes gathered on the House floor. I would argue that everyone gathered in the House chamber could have been ejected from government office and life in America would continue the next day, and the day after without any difficulty. All those government employees are non-essential, and to me are but looters of tax money. They provide nothing of value to the United States. With each law they pass, they take America further away from the Constitution, so every day the government is in session, they destroy America just a bit more. So why do we need them, and why do we need to pay higher taxes to pay for useless positions and programs? The even playing field Obama was talking about in his State of the Union is essentially socialism, even if he doesn’t call it that.

If socialism is too harsh of a word, then let’s call it soccer. Obama wants American business to function like a soccer game as opposed to football. The reason American’s don’t take to soccer the way the rest of the world does is because soccer seems to be enjoyed most in socialist leaning countries. In soccer, the forwards cannot be behind the fullbacks when the ball is kicked up the field. The intention of the rule is to keep the ball from being lobbed down the field by a powerful kick and giving the offense an unfair advantage over the defense. American footfall on the other hand which represents capitalism, encourages speed and if a receiver can beat a defensive back to get wide open, it is expected for the quarterback to make a deep pass over the defense to score. Obama wants America to embrace soccer, and therefore an economic system that reflects that game, which is pretty boring, low scoring, and entails watching a ball bounce around a field aimlessly for a couple of hours.

This is the America of fairness Obama is presenting in his speech. He wants to make sure forward thinking people will be declared offsides if they have too much speed and ambition to get behind the defense of U.S. regulation, or in other words—the defense. This is also why Matt Clark had me on his show to discuss the folly of Obama’s intentions to promote tourism in America by shutting down the most successful amusement park on the face of the planet. Matt and I discussed at great length the misplaced notion that political looters in our society are made up as celebrities, and that because of that status can actually displace thousands of paying tourists just so the president can stand in front of the castle in Disney World and give a speech. I argued that the executives at Disney should have refused the president, because Obama is not a king, or even a noble. He’s merely a public servant.

The confirmation that everything Matt and I said in our broadcasts could be seen before and after the State of the Union speech. Jean Schmidt who I’ve talked about here publicly declaring that President Obama is a president that has failed, made sure she was in the receiving line whispering to him on his way in. And on the way out, she was there again to get his autograph, just as many congressmen were doing from both political parties. Before the speech Speaker Boehner was hugging Joe Biden in spite of the fact that the VP and the President had bypassed congress to create a whole new branch of government in the appointment of Corday. Heck, I was at Boehner’s office just last week making the case for why the Speaker should move to impeach the President. And here they were just a few days later hugging, smiling and shaking hands. The State of the Union was simply a copy of Hollywood’s Academy Awards ceremony. The looters of government have watched how Hollywood presents material and they have copied it.

Washington has made the president into an actor and the State of the Union is simply a ceremony where the culture of Washington D.C. gets together, signs autographs for each other and displays their skills of acting for the public to see. But nothing about the State of the Union had anything to do with fixing problems in America. Obama attempted to use his skills as an actor to declare he loved the American Flag, that he wasn’t a socialist, and that he did not want to dismantle America.

He gave a speech intended to confuse everyone and trick them into giving him more time to give America soccer instead of football—socialism instead of capitalism. But all anyone has to do is look at the actions of these characters, these actors who, just as Matt Clark did in his impression of Mickey Mouse, played the role of a character in political theater. Politicians simply play their part; they do not back up their words with actions. They are actors as lost and confused as the Hollywood community because both groups believe in the seduction of celebrity over the valor of conviction. Our political body is made up of poor quality characters who are good actors for the cameras but lack any personal beliefs leaving their actions to be defined by the puppet masters who control their purse strings. With all that said, I would vote for the kid who dresses up in a Mickey Mouse costume at Disney World in Orlando for president because at least I can look at the costume of Mickey Mouse and have more faith in the authenticity of that actor as opposed to the actor that is Obama. Because the modern politician doesn’t just wear one costume to hide their true identities, but several, so many that the only way we can discover the intentions of these actors is to study their actions when the cameras aren’t rolling. I do not want the America of these actors, of these fair-share advocates, these sleazy salesmen who want to replace our American Football with global soccer. I do not want to pay for them with my taxes. I do not want their social programs. I do not want the country they wish to advance with their smiling faces and their hand shakes. Taxes should not go up, but the revenue demands must go down. And the American people must recognize that politicians are not even celebrities of worth because they don’t even make a movie that at least brings joy to the human race for a two-hour film.

The politician brings nothing but lies, and are utterly worthless, and must be overhauled in the minds of America for what they are, based on what they do, and not on what they say. For more on this sleazy salesman proposal read my detailed article on the concept here:

Old Men Wondering What Happened: The Payday of The Great Society

Even though I am still angry over the coverage by the two guys in the video below, and their involvement in repealing Issue 2 in Ohio, I couldn’t help but be a bit touched by these two men who are both in their 60’s and are wondering now in 2012 what happened to America. What happened to the Great Society of Lynden B. Johnston and the dreams of John F. Kennedy? What happened to the America of the late 50’s and 60’s when Bill Cunningham of 700 WLW and Sheriff Jones of Butler County where just starting out in their adulthoods? Where are the promises? Where are the benefits? What happened to America? Listen to their very heartfelt discussion here.

Millions upon millions of college graduates are discovering that they were lied to. In the early 1990’s when Ross Perot was declaring that there would be a “giant sucking sound” when NFTA was signed is the America we are currently in. Taxes and regulations have pushed businesses to other countries. America has been positioned by several globalists’ presidents starting with George Bush Sr., then Bill Clinton, then George Bush Jr., and now Obama to pull America into a world ruled by the U.N., and that has taken away the paper factories in Hamilton, that Sheriff Jones was talking about. The unions killed the automotive industry too, which also used to be in Hamilton. In fact, most of the technical jobs that America used to be good at are gone, now overseas while the foolish government schools encouraged an entire generation represented by Cunningham and Jones to become doctors, lawyers, and politicians.

And America shows what a country made up of lawyers looks like as litigation is at an all time high. There are so many doctors that they’ve had to invent diseases to convince people to use their services. And politics is a travesty upon the American philosophy and for all practical purposes is a complete joke that has no respect of the people the politicians represent. Greedy professors at universities have demanded higher and higher wages, many of them making over six figures and for doing what? Then to pay for these dangerous, ideological academics, public colleges have had to increase their tuition rates to extraordinary amounts breaking the back of the parents who just want to send their kids to the colleges to get a decent education. But that’s not what’s happening. All the creation jobs are moving overseas, America only has service jobs to offer these students coming out of high school and college, and those service jobs do not pay what the kids were promised when they racked up a $100K tuition bill.

The Great Society of the LBJ’s and FDR’s were an incomprehensible failure and the results are pouring in. Only one generation of that Great Society did well with the inventions against the Constitution that those Presidents engaged in to deliver our society to the circumstance it is currently in. The jobs are gone because the looters and lawyers drove them away. The high expectations of all the college graduates who want their own office in a plush environment, and end up in a cubical working for yet another financial firm selling 401 K plans that are virtually worthless in a market controlled by socialist tendencies, have proven irrefutably catastrophic. There are not enough skilled workers now who know how to weld, how to turn a wrench, or to tap a bolt. America let The Great Society and the liberal teachers of government education to teach our young to not change their own oil in their cars, to not put roofs on their homes, or even fix a dishwasher. We have an entire generation of young people who don’t even know what to do with a hand tool. In fact, it’s considered fashionable to not know how to handle a hammer, or drive home a nail. We have social engineering in public education to thank for that. Young people are more interested in their sexual orientation rather than being concerned about developing an actual skill they can use.

I was working with group of engineers the other day, young people right out of college and we were pulling a threaded bushing out of a tooled surface. The thing had wedged in place and could not be removed with any idea passed around the group. I approached and wondered what the holdup was and they told me of their dilemma. I pulled out my Leatherman tool off my belt and grabbed hold of the bushing after tapping it a few times with a brass hammer, and twisted in increments with a technique I learned years ago in a machine shop. The bushing came loose and the young engineers were looking at the Leatherman like I held some thunderbolt from the heavens. They were utterly perplexed at how easy it was to remove the bushing.

That is why America is failing. Kids have learned all the wrong things. Their values are wrong. Their intentions are wrong. And their ability to adapt is severally handicapped with an education given to them by the same greenie weenies who wish for America to become just another state in the United Nations. America has been robbed of its wealth in money, technology and business. But it has also been robbed of its common sense, and has trained its youth to be service oriented instead of skilled. Sadly those things happened to America on the watch of the two guys speaking above. Their conversation is like the many thousands of similar conversations going on all over the country right now among the same demographic age group, they are asking, “What went wrong. Why didn’t we see this coming?”

The generation of The Great Society didn’t see it coming for the same reasons that we go to a magic show and try and figure out the illusions. The Great Society was intended to deceive and so it did. But the cost of the illusion was not a simple ticket to a show. It was our country, our economy, and our very souls. We have been lied to, and now it hurts to realize it.

I look angrily at this group of people who voted for and supported this Great Society, because they left my generation with a mess to clean up. We have to be the bad guys who must point out all the faults of those foolish presidents who gave away what wasn’t theirs and made promises they weren’t equipped to keep. And people will suffer as a result. Young people will not have the jobs they expected. Going to school will not guarantee a good and stable life where everything that breaks can be hired out to a specialist. Tomorrow’s American will have to be more like the American’s who built the country. They’ll fix their own cars and dishwashers. They’ll grow their own food. They may even make their own cloths. Because the lie of the Great Society that promised a utopia for all the unskilled to gain through academics a respect that would carry them through life has come up for payment, and the debt will prove painful.

America can and will be good again, but not until the young engineers, the grocery store clerk, the banker, and the waitress can learn to use a Leatherman tool to fix a simple problem. It is not in the education and transformation into an academic that makes America strong. It was, and will always be, the ability of the American mind to figure out the solution to problems that leave the overly educated academic reeling for weeks, because their minds were destroyed by the illusions of The Great Society. In the meantime, the old men will ponder what changed in the years gone by, and will feign astonishment at the circumstances of modern America. But the solutions will not be in more of The Great Society, but much less of it, so that individualism can return to the theater of American ingenuity and the skilled hands that manipulate a Leatherman.

Impeach President Obama: DOMESTIC ENEMIES MUST BE DEALT WITH

“Emperor Obama expands government anyway!” That’s what the guy in the video below says about how Obama appointed Richard Corday to a new consumer watchdog position in the government. To term this activist president in such a way is completely accurate. Obama is an arrogant power grabber who truly believes he’s a dictator. He has very little respect for the United States Constitution, where he’s stated in the past that he believes the document is old, and requires constant revision over time………………..spoken like the true looting lawyer that he is.

Obama used a loophole in the recess rules to appoint Corday and he’s not the first president to do so. Both Bush’s used this practice, Reagan did, Teddy Roosevelt did, but Obama has taken it to a new level with this “bending” of the interpretation of the Constitution terminology with an activism that is shockingly disrespectful.

This is why I’m writing to my congressman, Speaker Boehner shown in the letter below, and recommending that he take immediate action to censure and or impeach President Obama from the office of the President of the United States for the simple reason that it’s the right thing to do. You can read the exact letter that I hand delivered to my congressman today for further context.

January 16, 2012

Speaker of the House
Congressman John Boehner
Butler County Office
7969 Cincinnati-Dayton Road
Suite B
West Chester, Ohio 45069

Subject: Appointment of Richard Cordray for Consumer Financial Protection Bureau

Dear Mr. Boehner:

It is certainly not against Mr. Cordray that I address this to you, nor is it the involvement of presidential politics in an election year. It is simply a matter of the current President of the United States, Barack Obama taking steps, most notably the recent appointment of Richard Cordray for a Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, to abuse his power as president by-passing congressional approval for initiatives he desires to set in motion.

The law means nothing if it is ignored, or manipulated out of convenience, and the President has openly participated in “high crimes and misdemeanors” as defined by Article 2 section 4 of The Constitution with his willingness to abuse his power to bypass the checks and balance system put in place with a congressional body. I understand fully that such an act by a Congress led by you is difficult and would go in the opposite direction of your attempts to work in a bi-partisan way with the president and his political party.

I sympathize that any act of impeachment or censure that would be mandated by a majority vote of Congress most likely does not have the two-thirds vote in the Senate to pursue such a measure to its end. But that does not eliminate the necessity for action by the branch of government that you represent on my behalf. I am troubled to consider what inaction by this Congress will mean in the future, if this abuse of power is not checked against the balances of protection the Constitution creates to prevent extreme activism on behalf of this President and future Presidents who will point at this time and the case-law that follows to maneuver and erode away the United States Constitution even more.

The acts of aggression were not done by you or your Congress, and I would hope that you would do as you swore to and protect our Constitution with your office and not feel you must shoulder the blame on yourself or your political party. But feel free to declare it was me, your constituent who demanded action in the pursuit of justice, because it must be done, or worse will befall us in the years to come.

Sincerely Yours,

Rich Hoffman

The strategy of Emperor Obama is the classic Cloward and Pivan tactic of overwhelming a system with so much information that nobody can fixate on any one issue. In this last year, the Obama administration has launched the Attack Watch website connected to his campaign page asking Americans to inform against other Americans who disagree with the President, he pushed for aggressive language in the NDAA Act and signed it on New Year’s Eve, this after ramming health care down our throats in the first year of his presidency which is on its way to the Supreme Court where Obama is counting on the commerce clause to create case-law against the Constitution severely weakening it further, he has used his Justice Department as a personal weapon to try to advance tougher gun regulations with the failed “Fast and Furious” scandal that makes President Reagan’s Iran Contra Affair look like a child’s game. As 2011 was ushered in as a New Year one year ago, it was Net Neutrality that grabbed for more power through the FCC, and now we have aggressive legislation being supported by Obama to regulate the internet.

Obama works fast, he pours on so many issues that the media who eats out of his hand cannot keep up with the stories fast enough. With a smile the President waves off all prying eyes with the skill of a magician, and when the eyes pry anyway he declares racism, or plays class warfare between the rich and some made up middle class who seek to trade away their freedom for the feed which comes out of governments hand like cattle to the feed wagon. History will show that Obama is a bad, corrupt man, who his deeply troubled like many Roman Emperors who became tyrants. Nero comes to mind. Nero was rumored to have played a fiddle as Rome burned, and Obama seems to be attempting the same thing in America. Obama is proof that every family needs a good strong father in it; because the lack of one in Obama’s life seems to have destroyed his ability to tell right from wrong and left holes in his life that only power can fill.

Thinking back on how Obama ran for office in 2008 swearing to close down Guantanamo Bay and criticizing the water boarding of terror suspects, he has now signed into the law of the land the NDAA Act that allows the water boarding of Americans. Where are his concerns over human rights and peace now? Do any of the fools who voted for him still think he’s honest, and well-intentioned? He has shown the pattern over the last four years of being incredibly aggressive, power-hungry, manipulative, and out-right brutal. He counts on the masses to be too stupid to call him on it, and he trusts that his skin color will prevent any body of justice from coming after him, because he has armies of collations that will shout down his attackers as “racists,” if they do. By the way dear reader, do you know what water boarding is? Do you know what the NDAA professes to do to you if you fall on the wrong side of government opinion? Have a look.

In relation to everything mentioned above, Obama right after signing the NDAA Act came to my state of Ohio, which is a battleground state for him, and picked a Ohioan in Corday to expand government to his liking, and then blamed Congress for his “need” to violate the checks and balances of the Constitution for the sake of the country, as if he were the declared savior of it. In fact, he has recently declared himself as a “Warrior of the Middle Class,” and virtually everything he is doing, he’s doing for the selfish notion of getting re-elected, since he is so drunk on power, he knows his life will be meaningless without it. President Obama is the classic con man, and we’d expect to see his type as the sleazy car salesman at a junk dealer, or that pervert who picks up drunk women fresh off the rebound close to the time a bar closes. Typically lowlife characters like Obama do not make it to such a high office, but within the United States there are forces who wish to see American destroyed, so Obama has over a billion dollars in contributions to fight with in his war chest, so even an inept, power-hungry oaf like him can appear to be a brilliant strategist.

This is why Congress must act against the president to not only defend itself from a very aggressive president, but to defend our Constitution from an enemy who resides in our White House. When public servants take the oath of office they swear to protect the Constitution from enemies both foreign and domestic. Well, we have a domestic enemy to the Constitution in the current President, and he needs to feel the justice of those who seek to protect it from people like him.

I encourage you dear reader and do as I have done, copy and paste the letter I wrote and fill in your own information if you’d like. But do write a similar letter to your congressman urging them to act on your behalf to bring justice against the abuse of power that President Obama has taken against our Constitution, and a willingness to slap each American in the face in a mad quest for power that is as insane as the most feared, and tyrannical of the Roman Emperors.

A Window without Glass: Jean Schmidt and lobbying on K-Street

WARNING–WARNING…………..I need a few hours of your time.  Be sure to read this through, then watch every video completely.  I know it’s a lot………..but it’s for your own good.

The House Ethics Committee in Congress is a scrub organization designed to white wash the sins committed by members of congress for the goal of keeping corruption flowing in full force. The corruption comes from lobbyists on K-Street which everyone in Washington know about, and seek to protect their access to the tree of fraud that has been made out of our body of government in all three branches. When we speak of members of political influence we often term things in the political right and left categories. But to me, many politicians even on the perceived political right are way far to the left of me, and such people are those like Jean Schmidt, who is a Republican, but is reported to be one of the 14 most corrupt members of congress there is, which is quite a statement. To learn what some of the allegations are against Jean Schmidt, Doc Thompson of 700 WLW and Chris Finney of C.O.A.S.T discuss the issue on the video below:

When I hear the list of wrongdoing Finney named off involving Congresswoman Schmidt I can’t help but think about how broken the entire system is, because Schmidt is labeled a political conservative, she frequently attends Tea Party events, and puts on a pleasant face in public appearances most of the time, yet she is wrapped up in lobby scandals. She reminds me often of the school teacher, or superintendent who begs for more tax money, and has a face that you want to trust. Most of the time when we think of corruption we have an idea of a man with a mustache and a comb over sporting a pot belly hiding in an airport bathroom with his pants down around his ankles looking for some sexual solicitation with another man while publicly pretending to support family first initiatives. And while much of the time our instincts are correct about these types, all too often, the looter, the deceiver of your hard-earned money and seeker of your trust looks like the everyday person.

Some of the worst looters that there ever where are those who can deceive while pretending friendship, yet at the same time working toward the intentions of scandal. And our government is filled with these people like Jean Schmidt and worse who we pay good money to do our business, but they sell out too quickly for large amounts of money to be made as a political insider.

There is no question that the power-brokers, the politicians on the right and the left who are both way to the left of me will say that Rich Hoffman is a radical right-winger. “He’s crazy,” they might say. And the minions who eat from the power-brokers hands in the media are worse, they are so broken as a society of people they aren’t even worth the breath that comes from their bodies. I consider the exhaust spewing from a car in 15 degree weather to have more value than the apologist who utters socialism from their mouths about the middle class. I am tired of those who proclaim that racism is alive and well at the expense of freedom and that girls should be in the Boy Scouts and boys should be in the Girls Scouts. I am tired of the feminist who declares that she doesn’t need a man and can raise a family without one. And the two men who think they can raise a well-balanced child without a mother. I’m tired of open borders which is designed to cheapen the value of American Citizenship. I’m tired of hearing about slavery when slavery is going on right now at K-Street. I’m tired of everyone letting a dictator rise to power because he’s black while the blacks I supported for office are attacked and smashed to oblivion because they are too politically to the right. I’m tired of gun grabbing looters who wish to disarm us so they don’t have to worry about being shot while they try to steal from us. I’m tired of a public education system that started with the intention of spreading socialism conceived from the mind of Horace Mann with the best of intentions, but proving a dismal failure, and then building our entire society on the foundations of the broken blocks without question.

I’m tired of the practice of giving political criminals called politicians justification with a silent endorsement. And for congresswomen like Jean Schmidt it does not matter if she is a Republican, or that she attends Tea Party events. I am tired of public servants making a living off public office and using it as a platform to gain wealth!

I do not care what a thief thinks of me. I do not care what the con man, the sexual pervert, the manipulator, the schemer, and the political pundits of political correctness who wrote the book with all the rules, think. I don’t like rules and I’m not following them. I don’t like the direction these low-life types are taking our society and I’m certainly not going to follow.

Jean Schmidt is not to be worshipped as honorable, and neither is John Boehnor. If I saw John at the local Ace Hardware store I doubt I’d even say hi. And Barack Obama, I don’t even think I’d look twice at the guy. The only place I’d like to meet Barack Obama is on a basketball court one on one, full court so I could stomp his skinny ass to pulp with a score of 70 to 2.

I do not care or understand these things because I chose not to. I am happy with my thoughts which are elevated beyond the reach of these simpletons. I like my books and watching the trees blow in the setting sun through my front window as I read. I like the unique foods my wife makes and the way it smells coming out of the kitchen. And I like it when my family is all in the same place at the same time. But I like most to be left alone by the congested minds of the looters and their tangled thoughts. I like to be free of their comings and goings, of their lack of courage toward their weak perversions. I like to be free of the power climbers and their quests of self-importance, for something meaningful to be placed on their tomb stones. I like to be free of those who are preparing for death with each step they take in life, because they get in the way of me trying to live my life with each step.

I like to be free of the fear mongering, because I’m not afraid of anything, so all their chatter is only noise to my ears. They use their chatter to confuse the weak and make livings for themselves by looting the fearful, the fat assed panic driven mother, the man who is still addicted to his mother, the man who never overcame the power of his father with strength of his own. Those types are the tyrants of this earth and they prop up criminals in congress to be their princesses and princes because they seek those who are just as pathetic as they are for office. Even those nobles of thievery seek their king. Jean Schmidt with all her talk about Barack Obama was seen getting the autograph of the President at a joint session of Congress which says everything anyone needs to know about Mrs. Schmidt.

We can be angry at Obama but he’s just one of the looters. It is people like Jean Schmidt who function without any ethics, but simply speak whatever sounds good to the camera, and believes nothing, that give Obama his power. Why should Obama fear the people’s Congress when people like Jean Schmidt is one of its guardians? The biggest failure of public education is that it has produced such low quality people. It has made people who cannot figure out who to vote for because they are so stupid they don’t know right from wrong. They are stupid not because of their brains, but their education made them passive and foolish who worship some godly figure at the front of a class room. This has left their minds susceptible to the looters of politics like Barack Obama and Jean Schmidt who write laws for the rest of society they believe they are exempt of. And this is why a House Ethics Committee in Congress that covers up crimes of congress and hires PR directors to control how the public perceives the looting that goes on right in front of their faces exists, to put on a good face to the public while actually assisting corrupt congressional members to commit crimes at the tax payer expense.

Yeah, if I’m too far to the right for all those punks, goons, freaks and losers on the left, then fine. I can live with that and not lose one minute of sleep. And the more that these looters attempt to intrude on my life with their desire to rob me and my friends and neighbors, the more you’re just going to piss me off, because I cannot become so stupid to endorse their tactics with my complacency. If I dumped out of my mind every conceivable thought it has in it, I would still feel like a genius next to those buffoons in government and their insect like behavior that is driven off only primal instincts and blank initiatives.

If you doubt any of what I have said here, go back and listen to that recording between Doc and Chris again, and determine the extent of the accusations against Jean Schmidt and the system she represents. And decide how much merit the words printed on the paper these fools create in new laws and regulation really has in the scheme of things.

Not very much. Go ahead Congress, Senate and the President; pass your NDAA, the EEA and the appointment of more government positions so these lax minded buffoons can pretend they can create things. Their schemes are as flimsy as their morality, and as shown, is about as thin as a window without any glass. There’s nothing there but words on a page, which means nothing.

Oh, what is that dear reader–you want more?  Well, before we part, let me tell you just a bit more to this story. Here’s a quick look into the three former Fannie Mae executives who created quite a lot of trouble on Wall Street.

Franklin Raines was a Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Fannie Mae.

Raines was forced to retire from his position with Fannie Mae when auditing discovered severe irregularities in Fannie Mae’s accounting activities. Raines left with a “golden parachute valued at $240 Million in benefits. The Government filed suit against Raines when the depth of the accounting scandal became clear.

Tim Howard- was the Chief Financial Officer of Fannie Mae. Howard “was a strong internal proponent of using accounting strategies that would ensure a “stable pattern of earnings” at Fannie. Investigations by federal regulators and the company’s board of directors since concluded that management did manipulate 1998 earnings to trigger bonuses. Raines and Howard resigned under pressure in late 2004. Howard’s Golden Parachute was estimated at $20 Million!

Jim Johnson- A former executive at Lehman Brothers and who was later forced from his position as Fannie Mae CEO. Investigators found that Fannie Mae had hidden a substantial amount of Johnson’s 1998 compensation from the public, reporting that it was between $6 million and $7 million when it fact it was $21 million.” Johnson is currently under investigation for taking illegal loans from Countrywide while serving as CEO of Fannie Mae.
Johnson’s Golden Parachute was estimated at $28 Million.

These are crooks that we’ve given the ability to write laws against American citizens.  What measures do these criminals employee to protect themselves from the punishment that is coming at them from the American people because of the looting that they have done?  Let my very good, personal friend Matt Clark tell you all about it.  Click the video below to listen.  Make sure you listen to the whole thing!

Oh, and what about our good friends from Frannie.  WHERE ARE THEY NOW YOU ASK?

FRANKLIN RAINES?
Raines works for the Obama Campaign as his Chief Economic Advisor.

TIM HOWARD?
Howard is a Chief Economic Advisor to Obama under Franklin Raines.

JIM JOHNSON?
Johnson was hired as a Senior Obama Finance Advisor and was selected to run Obama’s Vice Presidential Search Committee.

They are all crooks and thieves who don’t even deserve the spit in your mouth or what you place in the toilet when you relieve yourself.  Keep this in mind when you go to vote, and remember, it is because most people reading this did not vote that allowed these looters to become elected in the first place.  So educate yourself and vote intelligently.  And don’t fall for the manipulations and smiles of those you think are your friends.  Judge politicians on what they do, not what they say.
