A D.O.G.E. Savings Clock: Telling the story as the level of corruption seen in government employment continues to be uncovered

The Department of Government Efficiency will be known as one of the most important things ever done in government.  The amount of money wasted through government employment has been staggering.  And it has been so corrosive that it has set the bar entirely too low for the rest of the world, regarding expectations of what a job is supposed to be.  When Elon Musk sent emails to government workers asking them to name five things they did last week, many couldn’t. You can see a hint of the waste paid out for very little work.  I’ve been screaming about this for years, and people have been interested but very slow to react.  Only now that a Trump administration is willing to save money, and making money a theme of their administration, has something like a D.O.G.E. been an option.  Then, it would take a unique personality that was good at both digging up the dirt and selling it to the public, which is what Elon Musk is all about.  Of course, Trump let Elon Musk speak at his first cabinet meeting, where everyone at the table was excellent in their own right.  But for all of them, what Musk was doing with D.O.G.E. was the most important thing because it captured and controlled the narrative.  Nobody can defend the worthless nature of the average government worker, and now that so much waste is evident, we can see why many of them vote Democrat in elections: only Democrats are dumb enough to rubber-stamp so much waste and corruption.  Just in this first month of D.O.G.E., the numbers have been staggering.  For me, this was not surprising, but for many, there was an assumption that government workers were busier than this.  And when they can’t even report five things that they did that were useful, you know you could eliminate their positions, save the money, and not ever miss them.

https://www.usdebtclock.org/

However, we are at a saturation point.  At first, the reports were shocking.  But there is so much of it that everyday news of the amount of waste is starting to glaze over in the public’s eyes.  And I think there needs to be a D.O.G.E. clock, which is the opposite of the well-known Debt Clock that we are all familiar with, that shows the amount of debt America is racking up by the second, minute, hour, and day.  We need a D.O.G.E. clock that displays the savings stacked up in the opposite direction. Otherwise, people might forget or grow numb to it.  They need to see the big picture, and it should be on a sidebar on the X platform and Truth Social.  People need entertainment value in the reporting because the engagement level needs to be high.  While D.O.G.E. can’t actually control the amount of money being spent, Congress needs an easy understanding of what is going on to control the purse strings.  People need to quickly understand what their representatives need to be doing to control costs. Without a proper context, much of the waste that is being discovered will blend into the background noise.  What is needed is a D.O.G.E. clock that is easily referenced so people can see the score of savings as it is discovered and measure the length of the voluminous problem.  It’s one thing to shock people, and D.O.G.E. has, but it’s another to create information that substantiates permanent change.  Once the shock of something like this wears off, keeping that momentum going is a tough challenge unless people can be fed the information in quantities and formats they can digest quickly.

I was talking to an old friend who was hardly a wild conspiracy theorist or crazy lunatic of political ideology the other day.  This friend, Susan Mclaughlin and I were at a political event talking about old times, the early days of the Liberty Township Tea Party where another old friend, Katy Kern had just passed away, and we were reminiscing about her and all the old times when the IRS came after us specifically in 2010 under the Obama administration.  And we were pinching ourselves that such a day 15 years later where something like a D.O.G.E. would even be possible.  I had been doing what D.O.G.E. is doing now with my blog site, but on a much smaller scale.  Now, there was Elon Musk, the wealthiest person in the world, empowered by President Trump to expose government waste on such a massive scale after all he had been through.  It was everything we wanted out of the Tea Party all those years ago, and we joked that Katy would have never believed it.  In those days, even today, I played the Elon Musk role, and people hated me and wanted to eliminate me.  Hearing Elon Musk talk about this issue recently on the Joe Rogan Podcast was interesting because I know what it feels like.  However, on a scale such as this, there needs to be a proper narrative because raw data will water down the effectiveness of the information.  There must always be a little show business to these things, and D.O.G.E. needs some daily glitter to help sell the story.

But as Susan and I continued to talk, neither of us ever thought there would be a day where all this government cost would be exposed on such a mass scale.  It was a dream many of us had but couldn’t see a path to get there.  I stepped away from the traditional GOP types several times over the years, and I was hoping through Trump back in 2015 that some of this might have been possible.  But what we see ten years later, in 2025, wasn’t on the radar.  However, Trump has earned the right to turn someone like Elon Musk into the point person for government waste.  And as the wealthiest person on earth who doesn’t care about his social status because he wants to live on Mars anyway, there couldn’t and wouldn’t be a better person who could deliver such a D.O.G.E. message.  And that’s what it was going to take.  The government had grown too big and too corrupt, and that started with low expectations of what government employment meant.  It should be an honor to have a government job, but it had grown into a monstrosity of horrendously wasteful spending where the value of money was thrown entirely out the window.  And now we have a mass culture of this kind of thing that has had to be dramatically reduced.  However, as this continues in the coming months, people need an easy way to measure the success of D.O.G.E. hour by hour, day by day, and month by month.  A D.O.G.E. clock would help people see the value of the savings narrative and drown out the crying voices of government workers who are losing their cushy positions with such low employment expectations.  Most government positions must be eliminated, and we will have a better government.  Those workers must be in the private sector and learn to compete.  To keep everything going, people must watch success easily and measurably.  Because regarding the amount of waste there is, we are only scratching the surface.

Drawing a Line in the Sand: Shut down the Government, Shut down the Border, and force one-day voting, verified with an ID and a paper ballot

Just a note to Mike Johnson and the other Republicans who are getting caught playing in the Democrat game in Congress that was created by radical, unionized labor attached to all these ridiculous government unions. The name of the game is not to keep a majority in Congress. I’m sure the new Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, thinks that his job is to win a more significant majority in Congress while he is Speaker and that he doesn’t have much latitude to negotiate with the opposition regarding budgets because if just a few more Republicans retire, then he will lose his Speaker role and the House will go back to the Democrats. Then he won’t have any power to play this game. So, from his perspective, I can understand why he would think he has to play nice with everyone on a Continued Resolution regarding the federal budget and how to play that game in 2024. I am happy that my congressman, Warren Davidson, and fellow Ohio House member Jim Jordon have not been happy that Johnson is playing nice with the Democrats and RINOs regarding the budget. These are not the times for timid souls, and with our national debt heading to 35 trillion dollars within a few more months, this is not a time to spend more money. Republicans must stop the bleeding and at least get the budget back to under pre-COVID numbers (I would say pre-1990 numbers), and everyone has to admit to what’s going on. There are hostile forces in the world who are taking advantage of the United States and intend to spend us into oblivion like a bunch of reckless teenagers who suddenly have their parent’s credit card; only they never plan to pay back the money. They intend to collapse America financially, and that would be the type of people designing the Davos meeting next week, where the first topic is the Role America Plays in the World as if it were up to them to figure that out.

Republicans must admit that they don’t have a majority. They have some like-minded people who have a dozen or so RINOs who behave like Democrats. So until the Freedom Caucus types have a majority in Congress, there is no absolute majority. Mike Johnson is in that role without a majority, and if he plays along with the RINOs and Democrats, he will lose his brand forever and certainly won’t be any good to anybody in the future. So what he should do, as well as the other Republicans who are fiscally conservative, is to draw a line in the sand on the budget. Shut down the government or shut down the border. And leave it all right there. Nobody will care if it causes the Republicans to lose the majority in 2024. They will care if Mike Johnson continues to play softball with the Democrats for fear that he will lose his Speakership with that very slim majority. If Kevin McCarthy cared about the Republican Party, he wouldn’t have retired, making that majority even narrower. You can never let the enemy determine the ground for battle. You always have to exploit the weaknesses of your enemy, which is what the Democrats are doing to Republicans: their fear of losing a majority, rather than turning the tables on the Democrats, which is to exploit their reckless spending at a time when we technically have been in a depression economically for a few years now, only propped up by phony media numbers to attempt to make Joe Biden look better. However, all economic indicators show the truth, and Democrats need to pay for that truth by not letting them hide behind Republicans through this little game of budget talks.

Nobody is going to care if the government is shut down. Instead, Republicans would likely pick up more of a majority in 2024 and beyond if they stood for something and fought back.  I know many of these politicians aren’t used to hardball negotiations; for many of them, their government work is kind of a pre-retirement job or a way to work their legal profession without hustling for customers.  Government work is safe, stable employment that pays pretty well.  So they do the government work instead of working in the dog-eat-dog world of the private sector.  So, we are not talking about the best people in society doing these government jobs, such as representing us in Congress or the Senate.  But when you are talking about the kind of money that countries can steal from its people through taxation and how that money is then spent, especially on government unions where the wages are way too high for the minimal amount of work that we get from those positions, most of these nice guys, like Mike Johnson don’t have a chance in negotiations.  They don’t know how to play hardball, so they are easily suckered when the pressure is applied, and that’s how the Democrats like it.  They like chaos and compromised people who operate with lots of guilt that they can exploit for their infinite needs as social parasites.  And there is no peaceful way to deal with them.  Republicans must learn to play hardball, and they should start now.  Don’t worry about maintaining the majority.  Just do what’s right, and the people will reward them, likely with much larger majorities and absolute power.  Not this sissy stuff they have now.  Don’t play their game.

This is another reason why it is essential to talk about the massive election fraud we have had in the past and why all Republicans need to get back to paper ballots and one day of voting.  All those dumb ideas of multiple get-out-the-vote campaigns have only invited election fraud.  There is one day of voting on a paper ballot, and you must prove that you are an American citizen with an ID to vote—end of story.  Shut down the border.  Shut down the government.  Return to paper ballots and one day of voting with a verified ID.  And Republicans would find that they would have a much more substantial majority than now, and they’d have the ability to have absolute power over the finances.  This little majority they have now doesn’t do anything for anybody.  Don’t be afraid to lose it.  Let the Democrats choke on it now while it still matters.  Don’t put your names on any continued resolutions for more debt.  Cut off all the parasites who have embedded themselves in our budgets and exploit them for what they are.  But don’t get caught in this silly keep-away game that the media uses to determine wins and losses.  To maintain the slim majority in Congress, Mike Johnson has to work with the people trying to destroy it.  Be ready to give up that Speaker role and toss it back to Democrats so people can see what they are.  Put your energy into preventing election fraud and getting rid of those losers.  Instead of playing the losers’ game and continuing to waste money on a big government none of us need.  Shut the government down and make it so that Democrats are the ones responsible for closing Yellowstone and the Smoky Mountains.  The government shouldn’t control those recreational areas anyway.   Play hardball and play to destroy the opposition.  Put them on stage so people can see what they are.  And don’t feel you must get along with them. Instead, kill them politically for the enemies of America that they are, and don’t feel you have to hold hands with evil to hold a majority in Congress that isn’t real.

Don’t Play Nice With Democrats, They are At War With Us: Say NO to more funding

Shut Down The Government

Here’s a news flash, we are at war!  We are not in a situation where we, as Republicans, are required to play nice with Democrats.  No matter what you think about election fraud.  No matter what you think about the border.  No matter what you think about the cover-up of our political machine helping China develop a bioweapon in coronavirus at the Wuhan lab with NIH funding by Dr. Fauci.  We are under attack.  Democrats are trying to collapse our system of government, of our country, and we have the means to stop them. It’s not with elections during the midterms.  It’s not with the reinstitution of President Trump.  It’s actually upon us now, with the vote on the Hill to raise the debt ceiling and refund the government at the end of September.  We are already terribly in debt because we’ve played too nice.  We let the United Nations sucker us with Covid and trillions of dollars of new debt.  What is happening is a classic Cloward and Piven strategy meant to crush the American dollar and America as a sovereign nation.  We have domestic enemies who are helping bring it about.  Yet, we still have the power in our hands to stop it.  We still control the flow of money.  We can say no to raising the debt limit, and we can refuse to fund the government past the September deadline.  What are you afraid of happening?  What could be worse than losing your country?

Look, already, the government has taught people to live without the government. What will the media do when the government shuts down and people can’t go to the National Parks?  We already shut down the government during Covid.  I went to six National Parks this past year, and most of them had just reopened.  At Yellowstone in June 2021, they had only been open a few weeks after the government shutdown over Covid, and honestly, life still went on. Suppose they shut down over a lack of funding. Who is going to care?  People will rearrange their plans and get on with their lives.  This isn’t how it used to be where Republicans were the first to blink in such shutdowns; they would accept the blame for the whole fiasco.  No, we’re in a real new world now.  These days, if you stand up to Democrats by throwing all this in their face, you will be rewarded by voters; even illegal immigrants will vote Republican.  Because everyone likes a fighter, and everyone wants to see people in power defending the underdog.  This is the first time we could have a government shutdown where the Democrats would get the blame.  The public won’t care a bit.  By taking this leverage away from Democrats now, you will take it from them forever.

And to put an end to the trillions that Democrats want to spend with that communist infrastructure plan they want to pass.  Just take away their ability to borrow money.  The number one extortion piece that China has over the United States is our debt.  Democrats want to feed that power for an overthrow of America. That’s why they are against the Pledge of Allegiance; that’s why they want people to protest the American flag.  Do they hate America, isn’t that obvious yet?  Who doubts that now?  They have virtually come out and stamped their hatred of us right on our foreheads.   So why play nice with them?  Why shake hands?  Why pretend that the Senate is a country club of legislators who all want what’s best for America because they aren’t.   Many of them are domestic enemies to our Constitution, and they say it in the open.  Why not take them at their word?  Why play nice with them?  Would you want history to remember you opening the door and letting in the Trojan Horse that destroyed the war?

Many would argue that the Trojan Horse has already been unleashed, that the battle has already been launched, and that the globalists are already marking the war won.  That it’s too late.  Well, for that to happen, suckers must give them the money like the robbers they are.  Like Jesse James holding up a train promising to let all the women and children live if only the train’s occupants would hand over all their money, the Democrats are doing the same with our country.  Remember, Jesse James was a staunch slave-owning Democrat, and he was and is just like these modern Democrats.  Thieves, radicals, and political insurgents.  They do not want to work together for a better country.  They want to hold us up, steal our money and our lives, and turn over our country to the globe for a reward in an upcoming insurgent government.  So, the robbery is taking place for the naysayers and negative barnacles who think the fight isn’t worth having, but the goods have not left our hands.  Raising the debt ceiling and renewing the federal government’s funding is when that takes place, and Republicans would do well to hold tight, even shoot it out with the bandits.  But don’t hand it over.

Republicans are talking tough about the upcoming vote.  Democrats are threatening to do it all without them, which would be fine.  Never put your name next to a loser.  The Democrats, through election fraud, have managed to take the House, the Senate, and the Presidency.  Let them choke on it.  Let them be the ones to fund all these ridiculous projects.  Let them be on the hook for it.  Let them hang on to it and make them pay later.  There will be a later if Republicans hold tight.  Burn the horse with all the troops in it. Don’t let them in the gate, then go to bed only to slaughter you in the night.  Kill it before it gets to you under hidden schemes and actions of aggression intent for other nations, not those of America.  It’s all very simple; without the shared guilt of a broken economy, of an outright insurrection, Democrats will be left alone and afraid.  They will have nobody but themselves to blame, and when it all comes crashing down, it will be their party that will feel it most.

Then and only then can we talk about reforms.   They can’t steal the votes of the Republicans in our republic.   They can override the votes, but they cannot steal them from a live person voting on the House floor and talking to the media after.  Do not give them the leverage of your acceptance.  Leave them alone on this, and ultimately to blame.  Americans will back a fighter.  They will not support an accomplice who helped rob them of their wealth and country.  The power is truly in our hands.  Democrats only win if we surrender.  At least make them fight for it.  Fire back for a change and play chicken with the intent to crash headlong into their ranks.  Be willing to take damage from the action.  But don’t play nice with them.  Playing nice will be a sure way to lose this game, and in losing, we lose our country to the forces obviously against it.  And even though it may be scary now, remember, history has a long memory.  Finding a little bravery today and standing up to these bandits and insurgents will be worth the memory tomorrow.  Yet yielding to them will only pay embarrassment for the rest of your lives and the memory of it in the centuries to come.

When School House Rock, Rocked! A Time Capsule into the Past

If you want to see just how far the Progressive Movement has penetrated our culture all you have to do is look at School House Rock, from the 1970’s.

When I was a kid, I watched Saturday morning cartoons religiously; Hong Kong Phooey, Captain Caveman, and Land of the Lost were among my favorites.

Back then, sometime around 1974 to 1980 it was almost a guaranteed expectation that one of the below School House Rock video’s would air during commercial breaks.

These were useful and entertaining and helped a growing generation to understand their role in the country they lived in. You won’t find these types of cartoons produced today however. Instead, you get the Tides Foundation’s Story of Stuff, which is now shown in schools with public tax dollars supporting the progressive agenda.

When modern day educators and parents that are using public education as a convenient day care facility, or a chance for their child to get a scholarship using sports supplied by the school as a platform to exhibit their skills to colleges in hopes of getting a scholarship which will save that family some costs of higher education, keep in mind that this mind-set is only one generation old. School House Rock is a time capsule into a period before the effects of Progressivism had gained a firm footing in our country. The signs were emerging, but in our arrogance, we did not pay attention.

But now we’re awake.

It only takes a generation to destroy everything. It can take decades to rebuild.

Do you’re friends and neighbors a favor, send this to them so they can become aware of how quick and radically things changed in just one generation.
