Gavin Newsom is Lost: Why Democrats have nobody like Trump

Gavin Newsom has been in the news frequently lately, and he has something to say about almost everything.  And nobody believes any of it.  As governor of California, and this isn’t a political comment, just a logical one, he lost all credibility during COVID and has barely managed to hang on despite several challenges in a state that leaned far left, when it was fashionable.  But we are talking now about a world where Democrats have lost around 2.5 million registered voters and Republicans have gained about as many, and that is just a few months into Trump’s second presidency.  Gavin Newsom is a phony, like many politicians who have gotten away with it over the years, and if politics hadn’t changed as much as we’ve seen, Newsom could probably be considered a candidate for president in 2028, which he clearly aspires to be.  However, he has a poor track record, culminating in the LA fires.  But it was the way he handled COVID that set his future in stone.  The people in California won’t let him live it down, let alone a national campaign.  COVID-19 changed many people and the way they think about politics.  Today’s baby-kissing politician could be tomorrow’s lockdown governor violating all our personal rights over some virus released from China.  And of all the lockdown governors, Gavin Newsom was one of the worst.  It’s almost comical to watch him now trying to build a campaign for the Democrat Party’s presidential nomination.  That is obviously what his plans are, but the political order changed under his feet, and he seems lost to capture any message, because all the old stuff just isn’t working.  The buzzwords have died, and he has no new ones to offer.  Leaving him bouncing around from topic to topic aimlessly. 

The difference between President Trump and everyone else is essentially authenticity.  Trump can drop an F bomb during a speech, and people can relate to it.  Gavin Newsom can do the same, and people perceive it as insincere.  And that’s what’s new now, Trump is a product of the times and the people.  Politicians like Gavin Newsom are completely do-as-I-say, not-as-I-do types who count completely on manipulating the public to exist.  And people are too battle-hardened to accept that premise anymore.  And, there is too much media these days for shaky commentary.  With all the podcasts and startup news shows, especially on Trump’s Truth Social media platform, politicians like Gavin Newsom cannot withstand the constant scrutiny.  In the past, when there were only a few news stations and some talk radio to discuss these topics, Newsom got away with having a shiny exterior because there was never any time to get into the details.  But not these days.  And Trump has shown the world what a real person in a powerful position can accomplish.  And nobody the Democrats have will be able to duplicate it.  And Newsom is among the best that the Democrats have to offer.  They have big problems that are worth considering.  Watching Newsom try to adjust is actually very revealing because it points to a much deeper problem for all Democrats.  Why don’t they have their own version of Trump?  Well, because the new standards require authenticity as a person, not the kind of showboating that was once accepted as usual.  And Democrats as a party have sought to exploit people through emotions.  They have not actually done anything.  The world is looking for doers, not more administrative types who lock down their states, then get caught at social gatherings drinking wine as the world burns down outside. 

Gavin Newsom, in a remarkably short time, as he has been trying everything to capture a national audience, has appeared on the Charlie Kirk Show, attempting to appeal to Trump voters, and has since turned to the radical left, becoming as anti-Trump as anyone could be.  He’s tried to be overly friendly, radically mean, even violent, trying to draw a crowd.  And it’s just not working.  And that’s the main problem.  With Trump, nobody doubts what he’s thinking, and he built that brand over a long time with constant repetition.  Gavin Newsom has changed many times, and nobody really knows who he is, because he’s so inconsistent on topics.  I recall when Gavin Newsom was one of the first to join Trump’s Truth Social platform, going where voters who wouldn’t vote for him were, and trying to win them over.  He has maintained a relationship with Sean Hannity to appear more appealing.  He has tried to debate DeSantis, and that didn’t work well.  He’s tried everything, and nothing has worked, leaving him scrambling now that the clock is ticking toward the midterms and Democrats are bleeding support.  Not gaining any.  And this isn’t just a Newsom problem, but a party problem that even Republicans have.  Politics has changed a lot over the last five years, since establishment types tried to exile Trump and his supporters forever.  And what ended up happening was that it strengthened, and a new standard was set that few politicians who came before could follow.  What is going on behind the scenes is literally revealed in the nervous hand movements of Newsom, which are evident during interviews and give away a lot that nobody sees when the cameras aren’t rolling. 

In sales, it’s a fine line between enthusiasm and overemphasis.  And when someone knows they are selling something that people don’t want, they have to resort to body language to emotionally pull the people they are talking to past the doubt phase, and into the subconscious utterances of hand movements.  Using the hands a lot in communication is an attempt to remind the person you are talking to that you could grab them forcefully and make them listen to you.  Excessive hand movement is a big no in communication, as it forces the people listening to put up emotional barriers. And if the person using hand movements is trying to lie or manipulate an audience, it becomes quickly exposed by overplaying the situation.  In Trump’s case, he believes in the products he has sold, so his communication works, and people can feel it.  With Newsom, he clearly doesn’t, as he is constantly changing his positions and approach.  He doubts it himself, so he tries to hide it with excessive hand movements.  And instinctively, people think of his hands as something that is trying to attack them, so they put up barriers to that reception.  It’s a major turnoff for people listening to a politician like that.  In the past, the media would cover the distance, but they can no longer do so, as they have lost their power too.  There are many differences now compared to when Newsom first started as governor.  And it will only get worse for him and all Democrats.  And Democrats have nobody else but Newsom.  There isn’t anybody coming up in the background.  All the buzzword politics have worn out, leaving them completely unprepared.  And that desperation in messaging is now showing itself in rapid succession.  All they have is an attempt to tear down President Trump and his accomplishments.  They have nothing to offer as a replacement.  And in knowing that, they have a desperate message that can’t go anywhere, and is losing support by the day.  And even worse, their track record is horrendous, especially in California.  Blue states and cities have performed poorly, so Democrats have a lot of huge problems.  And after all that we’ve been through to get here, it’s actually fun to watch.

Getting Rid of Mail-in Ballots: If Trump had been in office, millions of lives would have been saved

I was pleased to see that President Trump was moving forward with an executive order to initiate the process of removing mail-in ballots from future elections.  This topic came up during the Russian talks, specifically with Putin, where they discussed the problem that all democracies face in not having secure elections.  With so much at stake, it should always be assumed that election fraud will occur if there are not tight controls in place on the process.  No matter where in the world those elections are taking place.  Cheating is endemic to the human race among those who are too lazy to compete.  And there are always lots of those people in any society.  And in America, where laziness is encouraged, of course, there will be a large sector of the population that will be inclined to cheat to get their people elected.  There is always a lot of money and power at stake in elections, so we should always assume that cheating will be present unless we are vigilant in preventing it.  And now we have a lot of proof that the mail-in process does not have honest people in it, and that cheating was part of the anticipated vote count, which we saw in the 2020 election that we still have not solved.  Mail-in ballots continued to be a problem in the 2024 election, but Trump had such a significant lead that Democrats couldn’t overcome him in state-to-state races.  As I pointed out before, states without voter ID had more election fraud than states that didn’t.  And, of course, there is nothing worse than a mail-in ballot that comes from an undisclosed person in a box with a bunch of other votes from unknown sources, and is counted alongside all the legitimate ballots, which an election worker witnesses. 

We observed a significant overcount in 2020 from mail-in ballots that likely didn’t represent actual voters, as Democrats were unable to replicate the effort in 2024.  They fell well short of the 81 million votes for president that they had shown for Biden.  Those numbers fell short for Kamala Harris, which should have been the same number of engagement.  Logically.  Only in 2020 were mail-in voting rules loosened due to COVID lockdowns, which then opened the door to massive cheating, which was much harder to replicate in the 2024 election.  What is interesting about the 2024 election is that while everyone was focused on the presidential election, with a margin for victory much higher for Trump, the House races and many Senate races were largely overlooked.  Yet at least 7 House races were decided by a margin of less than 1%.  The California 13th district, where Adam Gray defeated the incumbent John Duarte by less than .09%, or 187 votes out of 200,000 cast.  That margin was likely determined by mail-in ballots counted illegally.  That was likely the case in Colorado’s 8th district, where Yadira Caraveo beat Gabe Evans by just 557 votes.  And going back to 2019, in the race for governor in Kentucky between Matt Bevin and Andy Beshear, the Democrat won by just 5,136 votes out of 1.4 million cast, with an election margin of just 0.37%.  If illegal mail-in ballots had not been counted, the Republican majorities in the House and Senate right now would not be as close as they are.  There was still a significant amount of fraud in 2024 that did not receive much attention because Trump won his election.  But a lot of the margin for Republicans in the House and Senate would have otherwise been much larger. 

Democrats, of course, hope that nobody notices and that they can cheat in 2026 to gain majorities back in the House and Senate, so to prevent that from happening, we have to have much better controls over elections.  The election fraud question came up again in the White House as an off-topic question while Zelinsky was visiting.  And Trump had to explain his reason for the executive order on mail-in ballots.  This idea that we need to bring elections to the doorstep of voters is a Democrat one because they have so many of their members who are lazy and unengaged.  And they need their votes to get any power.  But that’s not how a free society is supposed to work.  People need to manage their representation in person, providing proof of their identity.  And someone needs to witness that exchange.  The security should be just as rigorous as cashing a check at the bank or any other financial transaction.  We should assume that people will want to cheat.  So we must guard every vote.  That seems logical, but the expectation from Democrats is that every disenfranchised person should be able to vote, allowing them to fill out the ballot and submit it through mail-in ballots as a legitimate vote.  And many of these close elections are going to Democrats over Republicans, tipping power in a way that does not represent what voters pick.  And the damage is extensive.  Just looking at the cost of Biden being in office over Trump, everyone discussing the Russian peace talks agrees that if Trump were in the White House, there would not have been an invasion into Ukraine, and millions of people would still be alive.  That is the cost of election fraud.

You can see that same trend in just about every political race in the country, where Democrats routinely steal yard signs of their opposing candidates.  When people try to steal a message by removing people’s visibility to it, you see a desire to cheat the message toward a favorable outcome by denying information to voters.  That same logic applies to mail-in ballots.  When people can steal a message with fake ballots thrown into a box to be counted with legitimate votes, they certainly will, and do.  So we have to take away all these opportunities to cheat that Democrats have lobbied for over the years, disguised as fairness.  Because the exact opposite has happened.  There are a lot of Democrats in office now who should not be.  And when a former KGB agent in Putin says that the 2020 election was stolen, it’s not because he played a part in it.  We know now from intelligence reports that Russia could not impact the 2016 election or the 2020 election.  But many people have discussed the election rigging that has gone on in Russia and many other places in the world.  And when Putin says that there was blatant cheating, people should listen, because he would know.  Elections work against those who want power from an administrative perspective, so all election locations are prone to cheating.  With each one, we need to approach them with a heavy hand toward security.  We must expect people who want power, as well as those who want to hold it, to cheat to gain it.  Cheating in an election is safer than an armed revolt, and many of these radicals would not hesitate to take power through force.  Cheating for them is a reasonable concession.  And because cheating has been so pervasive, we have a lot fewer Republicans than we otherwise should have.  And we need to correct that before the 2026 midterm.  Democrats will cheat to gain power back, and it is our job to take that ability away from them and force them to win honest elections.  Which they likely can’t do.

Trump Should Go To Moscow: Keeping Putin from pulling the rug out from under peace

I think President Trump should visit Moscow and meet with Putin ahead of any other meetings they might have, to demonstrate that he has done everything possible.  There are a lot of villains at work; Ukraine is surely not innocent as a maniacal globalist power, and when a very sketchy former KGB agent invites you to come to his country to talk, I think Trump could get a ceasefire out of the deal in exchange, because Putin would have to do something big in response. Regarding the Alaska 2025 meeting, which was productive, I thought it was over the top to conduct the flyover and escort Putin down the red carpet to view the stealth fighters.  It also wasn’t good for Trump, a much larger man, to walk next to Vladimir Putin for such a long time in the open, because it made Putin look small.  Putin handled things well, but what he did was demonstrate his willingness to go to America and make a deal, even if it meant appearing vulnerable in the process.  Observing his body posture, there was a significant amount of KGB manipulation involved.  And Trump knows what he is doing on these kinds of things.  It was mostly a show, and the world was watching intently.  And it will likely lead to an end of the war because all sides have already talked about everything proactively.  Putin has lost over a million people in this war with Ukraine, 100,000 just this year.  I’d say he feels like a sucker the way that the Biden administration coaxed him into the conflict as a cover story to all the Russian strawman efforts of the European Union and the Democrat Party in general.

I heard a lot of dumb stuff from the media during the whole meeting with Trump and Putin.  You can see who the cheerleaders are for global conflict and who profits from it.  Nothing Trump could have done would have made them happy because they only want war and conflict to be a cover story for major corruption in this whole process.  Putin, no matter what people think of him, is very popular in Russia because he has in his mind a restoration of the Russian borders before 1991, when communism fell and the country fell apart under that weight.  There were numerous United Nations problems with the entire process during the 1990s, particularly between global governance and sovereign nations.  But Putin is willing to throw away millions of Russian lives to retake Ukraine from what he sees as globalist conspirators.  And we would be just as upset if we lost parts of Florida and California to Mexico or Spain.  Russia, as the Soviet Union, was the American enemy during the Cold War, so we are not suddenly sympathetic to a communist cause.  But all the characters in this story are pretty evil and manipulative.  Ukraine is a creation of globalism and is a power grab from that direction, so before anybody can talk about anything, you have to know where everyone is coming from.  And for Putin, he wants his borders back and to help guide his country to its former glory, when he was a much younger man.  Trump was brilliant to let Putin speak first after their three-hour talk.  There were many master class moments from people who have mastered the art of communication, which much of the world completely missed while it was happening.  However, when Putin said in English at the end of his comments to the press that Trump should meet with him next time in Moscow, Trump needs to consider it. 

It’s great to bring all these world leaders to convenient places in the United States.  But imagine how the media would go crazy over Trump going to Moscow.  And how bold it would make Trump appear to the world.  As a former Cold War enemy, having an American president in Moscow with all the pomp that Russia could put on would win over the Russian people and give Putin a straightforward off-ramp from the war.  To have an American president come to his doorstep would be quite an accomplishment for him, and the Russian media would have the story of the century.  They would support Putin in almost anything he did thereafter, even if Russia didn’t regain as much land as they originally wanted.  When we have global media that wants, like nothing else, to decide who talks to whom and when, the best way to stick it to them would be to take the entire meeting out of their hands by holding it in Russia under a grand ceremony, ahead of any other talks with Ukraine or the EU.  It’s always good to get people to talk to each other, rather than adhering to false contentions, and those who have a desire for political outcomes that do not align with America First.  To give Putin that kind of attention would put him on a path to earn respect once again on the world stage and would be a great follow-up to Melania’s letter to Putin, urging him to save the children in this conflict.  There needs to be a mediating step, and when Putin suggested it, he understood the difficulties and set the stage to say he at least suggested it. 

But if Trump doesn’t go to Moscow, under these specific circumstances, Putin will have an excuse to withdraw from everything.  He went to America and made himself vulnerable for his motherland, and the Russian public well received him.  And he invited Trump to continue talks in Russia.  If Trump doesn’t go, it seems like the American president is only happy to talk on American soil with minimal risk to himself.  That was the KGB in Putin as he walked boldly next to a much larger American president, while a B-2 flyover was taking place overhead.  Putin wanted to convey to the world that he had done all he could for peace by meeting with Trump in America.  But he’s winning the war and could easily throw away a million more lives to take back all of Ukraine and topple the country.  It’s a waiting game that he can afford to play.  But Zelinsky and the European Union can’t.  So before Putin pulls the rug out from under everyone, Trump should go to Russia and advance talks of at least a ceasefire while these other details are worked out.  Because if he did, Putin wouldn’t be able to pull out of this deal, because the peer pressure of his country wouldn’t let him.  Nobody thinks Trump would go to Moscow to make a peace deal, including Putin, when he said it.  So the most extraordinary thing that Trump could do would be to take his show on the road and address the Russian people directly, with the same courtesy that was shown to Putin.  Many good things would happen as a result.  The media would have a meltdown, as would all the globalist types.  However, it would prevent Putin from undermining the efforts, save a lot of lives, and be monumentally historic.  And if I were speaking with Trump, I’d encourage him to do it this upcoming week, while the opportunity is still available.

Don’t Cry for Obama: They opened the door for punishment of their many crimes

Don’t cry for Obama; he put himself in this mess.  And certainly don’t think that Obama is too privileged to do a perp walk in handcuffs in front of the media.  I will never forget it, or forgive it, when they marched Steve Bannon, Trump’s former chief strategist, down a hall in handcuffs and put him in jail for four months, as they did Peter Navarro.  I will never forget the Trump mug shot when they booked him in Fulton County.  And when they did everything they could to destroy him with legal cases meant to kill his entire family, I will never forget what they did to Alex Jones, to Roger Stone, to Rudi Guiliani, Sydney Powell, and General Flynn.  What I watched happen over the last several years was nothing short of a coup against our form of government, and it was a communist revolutionary type like Barack Obama who was dead set to use all the powers of government to destroy our government in just the same way that Che and Fidel Castro did in Cuba.  Or any communist revolution for that matter, around the world, whether it be in China or Russia.  What they tried to do in the United States was every bit as bad, and they went for our jugular.  So now the shoe is on the other foot.  We have extensive evidence of what Obama directly did as president, which only confirms what we already suspected.  The evidence is significantly worse.  They didn’t just talk about destroying the people around Trump; they tried actually to do it, and where they could, they did.  So yes, when people ask me if it’s even possible to prosecute Barack Obama, a former president, it is because Democrats already opened the door to the possibility in the way they handled Trump.  Remember, the goal here is to define who runs our country, and if we let Obama and his gang of thugs loose, we surrender to their domestic terrorism in a way that will encourage others to do so in the future.  So I would argue that we can’t afford to let them get away with it.

After Trump made his feelings very clear about what Tulsi Gabbard had released to the public about what Obama’s role in the Russiagate scandal was, Obama released a statement essentially trying to hide his crime behind the dignity of the Oval Office, just as it was expected that the Deep State would hide his terrorist intentions behind his skin color.  Obama was created to undo the notion of a free country run by free people who picked their elected representatives.  And there are a whole bunch of malicious characters behind Barack Obama who need to be snuffed out and destroyed within American society.  It doesn’t just end with Obama.  But, Obama was caught trying to hold power as he was a sitting president, and he orchestrated a coup against the incoming administration that was every bit as radical as when the Castro brothers overtook Cuban society.  And Comey, Clapper, Clinton, Brennan, and many, many others deep within the CIA and FBI were in on it, and they paid for a doctored-up dossier working with foreign governments to undo a sitting president.  They broke every kind of protocol to destroy the results of a free election.  And all those involved must be punished because they didn’t respect our system the first time.  They laughed at our sense of justice and counted on their ability to hold office and control the legal outcome.  And when they had power, which people took away from them in the 2024 election, they abused their power, making it so that a counteraction is now mandated.  It’s not compassionate to let them go with all we know; it would be foolish.

There was always a notion behind the crimes Obama committed during his presidency that by the time everything caught up to him and his partners, America would be a different country.  In no scenario did they think that a person like Trump would become president, let alone twice.  And there were no calculations that Trump would survive all they threw at him to stop him from running for a second term.  Because they understand this, they know they have been winning elections through election fraud for years, and they are aware of what I have been saying about elections, whether we are talking about 2020, 2024, or any of the upcoming elections, such as 2026 or 2028.  If we keep Democrats from cheating, or make it harder for them, they can’t win elections because they are a dramatic minority, just as in the communist uprisings around the world had been, minorities taking control of majorities through the illusion of force.  And that was tried here in the United States by many members of our intelligence departments, and Obama was put in place to be the inserted wrecking ball, hiding his communist intentions behind his skin color, so that we couldn’t have an opinion on his actions because we had to prove we weren’t a racist country.  Or that we couldn’t prosecute him for what he did during his term, or as a puppeteer during the Biden years, because of some respectability of the office he held as a former president.  Trump was a former president, and they tried to destroy him and all his associates ruthlessly.  So now that the shoe is clearly on the other foot, we must have justice, and that means Obama in handcuffs, a mug shot, and jail time for the gross abuses of government he used to keep his party in power.

Don’t forget, if not for the whole Russiagate issue that Obama started, there would not be a war between Russia and Ukraine right now.  It was because of this deteriorated relationship with Russia that diplomacy crumbled, and a war was started that has killed many millions of people.  The war was always a cover story for the Steele Dossier and the people behind it, who were guilty of committing treason against our country to remove an elected president from office.  Trump isn’t the first time; they did it to Nixon, and they outright killed President Kennedy. Many of us have long suspected that those things happened, but now we have the proof, and we can’t just turn away from it.  We can’t allow a Deep State to think it’s in charge of our government.  And we have to punish their agents as we catch them, and Obama has been caught, without question.  Trump didn’t enter office looking to punish his political rivals.  However, he can’t disregard the crimes committed against him leading up to this point.  He has no obligation to turn away from justice, and that’s what we elected him to do.  People want to run a self-ruled government.  They don’t want a bunch of loser Deep Staters running their country for the benefit of globalism.  We have been too lenient in the past, which has given these people a false sense of security, leading them to believe they could get away with anything.  So yes, we have to send a message.  But don’t fret over the methods.  Obama and many others already went too far with Trump, and now the shoe is on the other foot.  So don’t cry for Obama.  It won’t start color revolutions in the streets to see him arrested and marched down the street in chains.  He did it to himself, and now he and many others must pay for the crimes they committed.  And no amount of fancy talk will help him now.  He’s busted!  And if people take to the streets to protest the arrest of Obama, we will bust them too, arrest by arrest, and if they get violent, with bone-crushing force.

The Brilliance of Pete Hegseth: Why the Big Beautiful Bill is so strategically important to bomb resistance to 4-5% GDP growth

While we are going through a process of transition, as we consider the signing of the Big Beautiful Bill and the amount of debt being added to it to fuel extraordinary growth, which on the surface appears irresponsible, but rather, and this is the case with the criticism of Jerome Powell at the Federal Reserve, everyone has to understand the attack on American culture that has taken place to grapple with the need to spend trillions of future dollars to jump-start an economy that has so many parasites in it.  We have to look at what the BBB is poised to do as Trump campaign promises, such as NO TAX ON TIPS, or NO TAX ON OVERTIME, and making the Trump tax cuts permanent, to get the big picture implications.  The philosophy of big spending is similar to how we would approach a military engagement.  Bombs, missiles, and troops cost a lot of money, and whenever you fight a war, on any level, it is usually an inspiration for debt, because very little that is profitable comes out of war.  For instance, the recent bombing of Iran, which most people generally support and attribute to Trump being very successful, and people are very proud of its success, cost around $500 million.  The B2 operations cost alone is $38.85 million, the GBU-57 bombs are $280 million, the Tomahawk missiles are $48 million, and all the supporting assets are $15 million.  That’s a lot of money to spend on one bombing campaign, and a prolonged war can quickly exceed all possible revenue sources and throw everyone into massive debts.  That’s why I said there would be no war with Iran, because Iran simply can’t spend money at that scale to fight a war.  War costs money, and if a country doesn’t have access to cash, it can’t fight a war.  Looked at another way, what’s the value of a gun if you can’t afford the bullets? 

I do, and I get it! Let’s get GDP growth over 3%, 4-5% at least!

And that makes Trump’s appointment of Pete Hegseth from Fox News into the Defense Secretary position that much more appropriate because in the past when we have spent this kind of money on military operations, we always had some stiff who would stand in front of a hostile socialist media and try to explain why what we did was a good thing.  However, Trump understands these situations very well; his knowledge comes from many sleepless nights of worrying about how to make deals and knowing how to get the most bang for his buck, so to speak.  In order to force peace in the Middle East, the threat of nuclear war had to be taken off the table.  Iran had to lose that leverage point in the conversation.  So Israel opened the door to a military attack, targeted at limited casualties and mostly cosmetic, to take that piece of hostility off the world stage.  So Trump sent in the B-2s at the extraordinary cost mentioned, around $500 million.  Anticipating the tremendous success and knowing that Iran can’t outspend anybody in a prolonged war, because they don’t have many missiles left to shoot and nobody in the world can give them new ones at the rate they would require, they had no choice but to play nice and sit at the table and talk about peace with Israel.  But even all that wasn’t enough; Trump had to have someone like Pete Hegseth, who understands how the media works and can talk on their terms, to explain it all to the world appropriately.  Otherwise, all that money spent on success wouldn’t mean anything in the end. 

Pete Hegseth, when he gave his press conference briefing to explain the effectiveness of the B2 raid, which essentially took Iran off the map of world terrorism sponsorship, was brilliant.  If that were all he did from now on, that would have been enough.  Pete Hegseth was fabulous, and I think it will go down in history as one of the most fantastic explanations of military endeavor in the world.  It’s not just the cost involved, but the human ingenuity that usually goes unsaid, for which Pete Hegseth was able to communicate.  To have the ability to take off on a secret mission from Missouri, at the fantastic Whiteman Air Force Base in Knob Noter, just 70 miles south of Kansas City and to fly non stop to Iran on the other side of the world and drop bombs to such a precision that these guys did, then be headed home before anybody in Iran even knew to look up in the sky, was a remarkable feat.  Astonishing actually.  And the group landed back at Whiteman without a scratch, for which Pete Hegseth was able to provide a correct explanation.  If you’ve ever been to that part of the world, you know just how far away from anything that it is.  To have that kind of reach demonstrates to the world not just the monetary ability to conduct such a raid, which costs roughly $500 million every time, but also to have that kind of reach under stealth capabilities is a terrifying prospect for the rest of the world.  Nobody in the world could have pulled that operation off, and when Trump did it, he took the gas out of the winds of fire from the minds of the world and their hostilities.  So, yes, the money spent was worth it, even if it generated short-term debt, because the prosperity of peace will create many more opportunities for revenue. 

And that same mentality is what is in this Big Beautiful Bill.  I understand it; I love Warren Davidson, he’s my congressman, and I get not trusting anyone from the future to cut spending that’s done today.  It doesn’t make sense under any rules of responsible spending practices.  However, we are discussing military engagement against the hostile economic forces in the world that have been impacting our economy, and the scale of the cost structure is a result of their imposition.  And Trump is looking to dismantle those constraints with growth, in the same way that he is attacking the Federal Reserve for foolishly sitting on interest rate hikes under the guise of prudence and patience, when boldness and spontaneity are needed for the massive growth Trump intends.  The purpose of the Big Beautiful Bill is military; it is meant to cut revenue and reduce spending by exposing all those with their hands in the cookie jar, and to promote manufacturing growth among the people who do the work. The opportunity cost generated will be substantial.  The deficit generated, much like a B2 attack, will be measured in dollars up front.  But the intangibles that have a much higher value will be exploited for great opportunities that wouldn’t be achieved any other way.  The optimism created by the Big Beautiful Bill will far outpace the actual cost in dollars, which is controlled by so many hostile agents in the finance industry, and it will change the scale for how we measure debt.  So, the achievements of the passage and the first year of the Trump presidency in this second term will far outweigh the cost once the threats to our economic security are eliminated through capitalist rules of engagement.  When the other economies of the world collapse, due to their reliance on socialism, communism, and Marxism, the scale shifts for all considerations.  And revenue sources that cannot be considered at this point will become available to backfill any debt produced in the short term.  And, just as putting Pete Hegseth in position well before he was needed, the same kind of experience has gone into the mechanics behind this Big Beautiful Bill.  It’s not about money; it’s a military attack against the Lords of Easy Money and their control of the process of debt spending that is much more of a threat in the world than Iran ever was.  And it’s a way to bomb them where they hide in ways that take them off the map as the parasites that they always were.  And massive prosperity will follow in the wake of their destruction.

Destroying Iran: The magnificance of capitalism

I’m not that surprised that President Trump attacked the Fordow site in Iran, along with two others, where the nuclear program was reported to be in the process of development.  From what Trump knew, taking away any leverage of fear from a nuclear power development plan from the number one state sponsor of terrorism in the world, and the Revolutionary Army of the current regime was on their heels, the timing was right.  With this move, Trump can accomplish several essential things simultaneously.  Given this air raid of Iran, it might look risky to be pulled into a prolonged war.  But the reports told Trump what he needed to know in the wake of the conflict between Iran and Israel.  Iran was out of missiles.  They had been able to bomb Israeli cities like Tel Aviv and get through the Iron Dome defense network by overwhelming the system.  But missiles cost money, and Obama isn’t around anymore to sneak money to the Iranian government to antagonize Western civilization, and the rockets ran dry.  To make a show of continued force, Iran has still been launching missiles into Israel, but at a much reduced rate, leaving the Iron Dome to pick them off easily.  Iran was in trouble.  The Ayatollah was in hiding.  Many of the senior revolutionary leadership were killed off or in disarray.  So the time was ripe for a strike, and Trump did it.  If he had resisted, he would have lost an opportunity. Iran was already falling, so it was a good time to send a message to the rest of the world, pass the Big Beautiful Bill, and crush the Russian resistance to end the Ukraine war.  Cut the ties China has with Iran by taking them off the map.  And pave the way for the people of Iran to take back their country and remove it from being a Marxist stronghold in the Middle East.  With the bombing of those three sites, Trump was able to get a lot done, so the time to strike was open.

Trump could have crushed Iran just with his mouth, as he had been doing.  However, an opening was obvious, and people often need to see decisive action. Moreover, nothing unites people more than military action.  As controversial as it is, Trump needs the Big Beautiful Bill to pass the Senate because the tax cuts in it, if made permanent, are key features to the future of the American economy and the improvements we have been seeing in all our wallets.  With the Fed resisting a lowering of interest rates, the tax cuts become even more critical. To unify everyone in passing the Bill for a very nice Fourth of July in 2025, destroying a long-known enemy of America was a smart move to drive resistance to the Bill to act quickly and decisively.  For Trump, he will be remembered as the President who crushed Iran with a marvelous attack that was very successful.  However, for the rest of the world, it was a significant statement and a display of military force.  And it was just enough to get the war hawks on Capitol Hill engaged enough to cheerlead passage of Trump’s Bill, which will secure all his campaign promises.  It will also add a lot of debt to an already escalating pile.  But strategically speaking, this raid on Iran in the middle of the night was an all-in poker move, and Trump has been successful at those before. This is undoubtedly what I voted for, and so did many others.  Likely, even people who didn’t want Trump are suddenly quite happy that he’s in the White House.

Regarding Article II powers, Trump is well within his rights as President to call such a strike.  All this talk of impeachment by Democrats isn’t going to go anywhere.  Ground troops were not involved, so that kept things straight legally on the side of Trump’s decisive action.  For those who fear retaliation, and that, because of Trump’s actions, it puts everyone at risk, they have been deceived into believing that Iran was more powerful than it really was.  The fear is that Iran will close the Strait of Hormuz, located between the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman.  The simple answer is that ships traveling through the area can hug the coast of the United Arab Emirates and avoid Iranian patrols.  However, in truth, Iran lacks the firepower to establish a blockade that would prevent ships from traveling through it.  These are not the Obama days when ships could be stopped by Iranian patrols and harassed.  The Iranians know that they can’t afford retaliation, so there isn’t any real way to provoke more trouble to pour on themselves.  So, any fear of such a thing is misplaced in those who thought of Iran as more potent than it was.  The media and their leftist partners in the world propped up Iran to be a bully so that Marxist ideology could thrive.  And Trump just took that leverage away from the world with that one act.  Ultimately, the fight was always between capitalism and various degrees of communism hidden behind religious fundamentalism, which is why Democrats are so unhappy with the attack because it exposes what they already know but were trying to hide from the world.  Iran was a paper tiger of antagonism that was keeping the world in a terrible state.  And that they used that leverage to spread big government socialism as a reaction to it.  And now that paper tiger is gone. 

When it’s said that nobody else in the world could have performed an attack like this, with B-2 Spirit stealth bombers dropping six GBU-57A/B Massive Ordnance Penetrators, (bunker busters) that could destroy targets 300 feet underground, every country suddenly has to perk up differently when Trump picks up the phone, especially China, and Russia.  And the European Union.  And all the bill whipping that Trump will do in the last week before the Fourth of July to pass his bill and seal his campaign promises, which will fund a repayment of the debt incurred, and then some, will take on a whole new meaning.  As China plans to replace the dollar as the world’s currency standard at the upcoming BRICS summit, set to take place on July 6, 2025, just a few weeks away, it will now have to reconsider all its thoughts.  And in that vacuum of consideration, Trump’s economic plans will have a chance to take flight, and the world will be reeling from their commitments to global communism and socialism.  And only capitalist governments will find success, with the United States pulling way out in front of everyone.  And all the posturing of China to antagonize Taiwan are suddenly not very attractive when America can send bunker busters from halfway around the world and devastatingly cripple a target, essentially ending the life of a country in a few minutes, and still be home in time for dinner.  No, this attack was about more than helping Israel.  It was a final blow against communism, forcing the world to compete in ways they weren’t ready for.  And it will be remembered as one of the most incredible achievements of any American president, not for the action itself, but for what came after.

The Bike Paths of Agenda 21: They cost a lot of money and very few people use them, especially in conservative West Chester

I’m probably the last person not to like bike paths.  I use the newly created bike paths and trails in the West Chester and Liberty Township areas extensively for the videos I make with these articles I write.  I have spent thousands of hours on them filming these videos, so I would say it’s safe to say I am an extensive user and have walked every mile of all of them many times over.  However, I understand why West Chester Trustee Mark Welch is not a fan of the proposed connecting bike path that has been discussed for running through West Chester, from the Mason area, aiming to link the Little Miami River to the Great Miami.  There is a long-planned fantasy to connect those rivers through this part of southern Ohio, and logic is not at the center of any considerations.  This issue recently arose when I was writing an article about vertiports in West Chester, and Mark and I discussed the bike paths and parks that are part of the United Nations’ Agenda 21 and 2030 sustainability plans, which end up in local planning offices across the United States.  The blind commitment to bike paths from foreign planning commissions that cost a lot of money is going to be a centerpiece to the re-election of Mark Welch and whether we embrace a future off the lessons of the past, or we follow the mindless dictates of foreign influence and their radical ideas about climate science that are at the heart of building more green space to inspire humans not to use their cars so much, and to get healthier lifestyles that don’t put too much burden on the top heavy cost health care industry that is corrupted by labor unions and pharmaceutical company monopoly status. 

The current dream is to connect bike path infrastructure along Tylersville Road, West Chester and to meet up with the existing bike path built near the Trinity Pub in Port Union.  Before I outline my next comments, I see numerous positive uses for these bike paths. I have a grandson who is riding them all over the state.  He and his dad are planning a trip to Cleveland from their home along the Loveland Bike Trail, which is used pretty extensively. However, proportionally speaking, we are still talking about under 2% of the population that uses them at any particular time.  They are not being used in the way that Agenda 21 sustainability planners envisioned in their communist fantasies.  Nothing ever works out as planned.  However, I think they are pretty neat in a luxury-oriented culture.  It’s nice to have them, but they are not used by most taxpayers, not even occasionally.  So Mark’s position in West Chester is to put the issue to a vote, and if people vote in favor of spending money on the bike paths, then he’d be all for it.  However, paying good money from the current tax base is not a good idea, as it is using government power in the wrong way.  Bike paths are not a core competency of government, and for the trustees of West Chester, it’s too much to ask them to take on.  But for the bottom feeders who are trying to knock Mark out of this race and to take his seat, completing these bike paths with taxpayer money will be one of the foundations of their campaigns as a feel-good sentiment that does not have broad appeal, but might sound like a good idea without context. 

The bike path that starts at Port Union, near the Trinity Pub, cost approximately $13.8 million to construct.  It was relatively easy because it runs along the property that used to be part of the Erie Canal, which ran from Hamilton down into downtown Cincinnati through the Mill Creek Valley.  Before there was even a railroad, or I-75, there was the Erie Canal.  That’s why Port Union is named that way, because that was a port of entry for getting on the canal.  So, what was left of it was open, unused land that was perfect for building a bike path to preserve parts of it for historical perspective.  The land was relatively easy to acquire, and to the north of it was raw farmland with minimal residential properties to contend with.  And that is the constant theme of most of the bike paths that have sprung up all over Ohio, including the one my nine-year-old grandson plans to use to ride to Cleveland and back.  I think it’s a pretty bold and cool idea for him and his dad to do, as I show them here using the bike paths for training for that adventure together.  But most of those bike paths are built along rivers and railroads, and don’t involve much eminent domain.  However, to cut through West Chester, it will be costly to create the bike path because there is a lot of private property to acquire, and numerous eminent domain cases will be a significant issue.  So it’s nowhere near as easy as building the bike path at Port Union.  Bike paths, under the best conditions, cost approximately $ 250,000 to $ 500,000 per mile.  The cost increases significantly when private property is involved, as it would be in West Chester, Ohio.  A concept that the Agenda 21 planners never anticipated, given that their monetary policy was based on Modern Monetary Theory, where they planned for governments to print fake money. In Europe, the concept of private property often takes a back seat to state needs and desires.  The people who want bike paths in West Chester are those kinds of Democrat thinkers. 

So, I spend a lot of time at the one by Trinity Pub, and I hardly ever see anybody there.  When the Trinity Pub was built, it was intended to be a hub for the bike path, and it would be a great idea if people used the trail.  But that little restaurant has barely hung on and is under its latest set of owners, who are trying to get things going there, but without much success.  I’d like to see them make it, but the bike path hasn’t helped them at all because nobody uses it.  So with all this expense involved, why do them?  Although I like and use them, the cost does not make sense.  Especially when private property acquisition is involved, these bike paths form an extensive network, and I was surprised to see how nice they are, even in remote areas between Middletown, Ohio, and Franklin, along the Great Miami River.  They are nice to have, but they are part of a luxury culture that can afford them.  They will never be used in the way the Agenda 21 planners envisioned, as a means to replace cars, save the planet from human beings, and keep people from traveling on vacation because they had plenty of parks in their neighborhoods to visit.  All the central planners involved in America got suckered by this European fantasy, and Mark Welch has declared himself not to be one of those suckers.  If voters want to raise their taxes to pay for something that they will never use, then fine.  But in the back of all logic, it says that people don’t care.  Especially if they have to pay for it out of their own pockets, and when it comes to the West Chester Bike Path to connect the Little Miami River to the Great Miami River, they just won’t.

Putting Out the Fires of War: No, there won’t be a World War III

You have to see the big picture here and understand the motivations that are being exposed, as we speak.  I was surprised that Benjamin Netanyahu was so bullish on attacking Iran’s nuclear capability and taking out the heads of the Iranian revolutionary forces.  In the chess game of war, it’s a pretty bold one, and when you add to that the antics of Ukraine and Russia, and China moving in on Taiwan, there is a lot of talk about World War III.  And about the United States getting dragged into it.  But lurking in the background of all this chaos are the forces of globalism, who are starting these fires to cover up their many crimes.  And they are looking for a diversion.  All these characters didn’t just get these warlike ideas on their own as single-minded personalities.  Numerous factors are at play in the background, and many global crimes are being brought to light for consideration.  So the hope here is that wars, even if it means World War III and mass casualties everywhere, can’t be avoided. Suppose the bad guys out there can start a war and destroy the world to cover their many, vast crimes.  You can bet that they will do it in a New York minute.  We are dealing with a vast evil that is as malicious as the human imagination could consider.  And it has always hidden itself through death and violence.  So, while there is a lot of concern about America getting pulled into a war, remember, this is just another Covid story, an attempt to derail the news cycle and hide the perpetrators of evil who move the mouths of the characters involved.  And hope that nobody notices.  But of course we do see, and are onto the truth of the matter.

In Israel’s case, I don’t feel that enough revenge has been put in place for the malicious attack that occurred against Israel at that music festival.  The way they were attacked was reprehensible, and to say that America can’t get dragged into a Holy War is ridiculously insufficient.  Globalism is a layered topic in this case because Israel was a creation of globalism, of the forces being realigned after World War II.  There are forces of the western world who want to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem and the ancient fight with the residents of the Land of Canaan, and of the Mesopotamian Valley feel they are fulfilling a prophesy the same as Jesus riding a donkey into the ancient city as the Son of God to be the King of Kings to a chosen people.   There is no peace in this process because there are more than terrestrial forces at play, blowing on the winds of war that have been present for many tens of thousands of years, if not millions.  Not to become distracted here, but you have to understand the level of evil in the Middle East that we are discussing, which has been chronicled in literature as long as humans have been able to record their observations and thoughts.  So with all that in mind, I love Israel, I love the Jewish people, and I think that it’s essential to understand why that part of the world was chosen to be a Promised Land.  There is no way to appease the Iranians and their history against the Jewish people, going back to the beginning.  To have peace with them, they will have to be destroyed.  And they showed those fangs when they attacked all those kids at that music festival, and raped all those poor girls, and tortured those family members.  We can’t tolerate that kind of evil in a world of mass communication, where people have a responsibility to be aware of these things.  We can’t turn away from evil, and I tend to think that the Jewish people should rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem for the third time. 

However, we are also discussing the majority of the known world being in a perilous circumstance, from Russia to China, which threatens to disrupt chip manufacturing and, in turn, impact the American economy.  Trump has done a great job getting on the phone with Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping, and maintaining a relationship with them that would make waging war difficult in their minds with free justification.  The winds of war were being blown on by globalist forces trying to hide their crimes as Trump took away the embers with diffusing telephone calls that only a top executive would understand how to do.  Thank goodness Trump is in the White House because I don’t see World War III happening in the way that most people fear it will, with a ground war and mass casualties all over the earth.  As I look at it, the world can’t afford to be at war.  The world is broke, and they can’t maintain war as it is traditionally viewed.  All they can afford to do is sponsor various elements of terrorism.  Russia is broke.  China is only propped up with globalist money, trying to hide itself behind a wall of communism.  And in Iran, they hide Marxism behind Islamic Fundamentalism, but the truth is that they are the top sponsor in the world of terrorism.  Or as they define it, “revolutionary support.”  When they talk about revolution, they are talking about the fight of indigenous people to push out the Western world from their ancient practices that go back to the time of the Tower of Babel.  And they will never stop.  But they have also been propped up by globalism, remember all the cases of money that Obama left on runways during his administration to sponsor the terrorism of that region against the Western World.  Against the Christianized West. 

However, none of those countries can afford to go to war; what we are seeing on the news are the attempted fires of those forces hiding within the policy of those places, trying to throw everyone off the scent.  But without globalist money, Iran can’t maintain its regime.  The Ukraine War falls apart.  And China can’t do anything as they are completely attached to the greedy hands of the World Economic Forum as their government of choice for corporate manipulation.  And America doesn’t need to get pulled into any war.  It’s perfectly fine to shoot down the missiles going into Israel and to run Iran dry.  And let the people rise and overthrow the Revolutionary forces there in Iran, and install a new government.  America doesn’t need to lift a finger, only to support the fight against evil wherever it shows itself.  However, a ground war is not in the cards, as it’s not necessary.  Trump has already discharged the steam, leaving the globalist forces exposed and desperate.  And we have to realize that’s what is going on.  The world that doesn’t want peace is losing its hiding places, and they know that America is going to outpace globalism and make them irrelevant.  All the talk show pundits are getting the war talk wrong because they don’t want to admit the economics of the situation.  There isn’t money for the kind of war they fear, due to the way globalism has entangled so many forces.  They can’t afford such a fight. Instead, the bad guys have been stripped naked, and their marionettes have found themselves talking peacefully to Trump, putting out the fires faster than they can be started.  Leaving them all exposed without any hiding places, in full view of a public waking up massively, perhaps for the first time, in the history of this world.

Let’s Be Clear, Elon Musk Did Not Win the Election for Trump: The tempers of a dejected woman

Let’s get something straight: Elon Musk did not win the election for President Trump.  I like Elon Musk, and I want his companies to succeed.  But he’s a political lightweight who still has a lot to learn.  The money he spent, primarily on President Trump, around $290 million, was in his own best interest. If Trump had lost, it would have essentially cost Elon Musk many billions of dollars in lost opportunity cost.  So this big head idea he has that he won the election for President Trump, and that he put a Republican House and Senate into the majority, is ridiculously wrong.  I have a news flash for Elon Musk.  Trump was going to win, and so were those majorities going to happen, with or without Elon Musk.  We don’t owe him anything.  We welcomed his help.  But we were going to win regardless.  Trump was poised to win as far back as 2022, and I said so all the way.  Everyone knew what the internals were saying; Trump was never going to lose.  And I hate to say it, but that money Musk spent was mainly worthless.   People had already made up their minds about Trump, and they wanted him, because election fraud was the problem in 2020.  Elon Musk was a Democrat who helped other Democrats feel like they could switch over to the MAGA base and be a part of it.  However, the numbers were already in place long before Elon Musk became involved.  And to whatever degree Elon Musk has deluded himself with a power play to turn against Trump in the way he did, which will have a permanent impact on the rest of his life, it’s essential to clarify the truth of the matter.  President Trump would have won the 2024 election with or without help. 

There is a part of me, and it might yet be somewhat true that the calls for war that China and Russia have been beating on, making negotiations very difficult, were why Trump and Musk went into a tag team kind of Big Time Wrestling event where the world was temporarily distracted by the most powerful person in the world getting into a fight with the world’s richest person.  Trump has done that kind of thing with Vince McMahon before.  Those kinds of acts are what WWF wrestling is all about, and off stage, all the guys are friends.  But I think Trump is legitimately hurt by what Elon Musk did, and that what happened was a permanent condition.  I would place it among the stories of Omarosa, Michael Cohen, and Anthony Scaramucci, people who were once close to Trump but fell away in disgrace.  That’s a whole topic of its own, but in this case, it takes courage to stand by a person like President Trump, and some people just don’t have it.  Is it President Trump’s fault that there are so many people like that in his life, and extending well into the past?  No, I would say that influential people attract people who want to be near power.  And as people of their own, they have fantasies of being able to manipulate influential people into doing things they want, because they lack the courage to do it themselves.  So they fly too close to the sun, their wings melt, and they fall back to earth.  Elon Musk is just the latest to experience that. 

As it looks, Steve Bannon was probably more right than wrong about Musk being a Chinese asset.  China is Tesla’s second-largest market, behind the United States, with sales growing by 8.8% in 2024.  And state-controlled banks in China gave Tesla a $1.6 billion loan from Chinese state-owned banks in 2019 to build their gigafactory there, with a reduced 15% corporate tax rate.  I think the pressure on Elon Musk to exit politics was significant due to his numerous entanglements.  I was amazed that he was able to do as much as he did.  Like a lot of people, Elon Musk got caught up in seeing the extreme wrong behind the assassination attempt of Trump, and he joined the crusade out of a moral imperative, like so many others did.  But China has been using globalist money to buy people with leverage for many years, including most of our current government.  And they are trying to undermine Trump, as they did when they released the COVID-19 virus during an election year.  We cannot ignore the role China played in election fraud in America, but also in other places, such as Brazil, and most recently in South Korea.  Doing business with China is a tricky proposition; they can and will hold everything over your head if they decide to call in a loan.  That seems to be a common practice in the world these days, so I can certainly understand the pressure on Musk to distance himself from the White House and return to running his companies, which, unfortunately, involves being a political chameleon.  Most businesspeople have to adapt their approach depending on the country they are dealing with, and with a company like Tesla, China holds significant influence.  It’s nice that it’s an American car company and that it represents a necessary export.  But at what cost? Usually, it means that at the very least, the CEO of the company can’t have political opinions that work against the country they are building and selling cars to, when they are effectively a communist run enterprise hell bent on authority control over mass society.

I think the pressure got to him. There are a lot of leftists who work in executive positions at Musk’s companies, and they weren’t happy that he was suddenly one of the key Republicans in Washington D.C., attached so intimately to the Trump administration with direct, and open friendship.  For Trump’s part, it was good to have Musk as a friend.  In business, you keep your friends close, and if you can, you keep your enemies closer.  If you have your arm around them, it’s hard for them to stick a knife in your back, because your arm can control their movements to a greater extent.  But for people like Musk, and the long line of individuals who have tried to be close to Trump, to control him in some way, and then found out things didn’t go the way they wanted, it’s like the woman who marries a man to change him.  And after all the sex and laughing at his dumb jokes, he still doesn’t willingly cut the grass on Sunday, the woman feels dejected and angry.  And I think Elon Musk is like so many women who try such a thing only to realize they weren’t able to change the man they married, leaving them embarrassed and regretful.  And Musk wanted to make a clean break to get his companies back on track by using the protest against this Big Beautiful Bill as an excuse.  Because if you did want to help the Chinese stay in power, you would like to stop the Trump campaign bill from passing the Senate.  Passing the bill, as expensive as it is, essentially reduces China’s influence over American politics.  That’s why it’s so costly.  Debt can be leveraged to advantage.  But to make it work, you have to have something valuable to work with.  China has been trying to destroy that value, so this Big Beautiful Bill of Trump’s is all about leverage.  Not actual debt.  And Elon Musk found himself caught between those two worlds, and he had to pick.  And I don’t blame him.  It takes a lot of guts to stick to these kinds of things.  And it’s challenging at best, especially if you have a substantial amount of money and want to maintain it.  But let’s be clear, Musk didn’t win the election for Trump.  He was just lucky to have been a part of history.  He certainly didn’t make it.

Trump’s West Point Speech: Its all about gaining “momentum” in life

I thought Trump’s speech to West Point for their commencement was remarkable and not discussed enough.  The theme of the entire speech was momentum, which was excellent advice that you usually don’t hear coming from a President of the United States, nor do you hear such a thing discussed at any military academy.  Military endeavors, like political experiences, are typically about conformance to a static norm.  Not gaining momentum in life by challenging that static order.  And as examples of capturing momentum in life, Trump mentioned military figures like Billy Mitchell, who was court-martialed and forced into retirement for insisting that the army adopt aerial strategies that utilized the airplane.  Trump mentioned Patten and others who openly challenged the static norms of their day to gain strategic momentum for a tactical advantage, which was excellent advice.  As he was speaking, I thought of the way the great Claire Lee Chennault, the leader of the Flying Tigers, was treated by the military.  There is a long history of clashes between inside-the-box thinking and challengers from the outside.  Yet what is being celebrated at any graduation ceremony is conformance.  The school you are graduating from sets up rules you must learn and comply with, and if you successfully do so, you get a paper from them saying you graduated, and that the world can trust you to play by the rules that are set up.  That’s what employers think they are looking for when they hire people through their human resources department.  If they want a college graduate, they want someone who will follow the rules and not challenge them, and their graduation from an educational institution provides that proof.  However, instead of celebrating compliance, Trump was advocating for rebellion. 

Trump told the inspiring story, but with a sad ending, of William Levitt, who developed Levittown with his family’s company, Levitt & Sons, on Long Island from 1947 to 1951. This development defined the concept of a planned community that has been copied all over the United States ever since.  Bill Levitt was known for walking his building sites picking up nails to save money and pushing his teams to be very frugal on expenses, and Trump indicated that the key to the success of Levitt was his strong work ethic that captured momentum in life and that through that momentum, he achieved a lot of success.  However, Levitt found it challenging to sustain that momentum after achieving success, and by 1968, they were facing mounting debts and struggling to manage the company’s growth.  They got too far out over their skis and started failing with everything they worked on, leaving Levitt as a crumpled-up old man by the time Trump met him in the 1980s at a party with other very influential real estate developers.   Trump found him in the corner of the party of the big shots, sitting alone, with nobody talking to him.  And when President Trump spoke with him, Levitt told him regretfully that he had lost momentum in life and didn’t have it in him anymore, which is an unfortunate story, but it’s essential and motivational because of what it means to the human race.  Playing it safe is not the path to success.  Neither is doing what other people tell you.  Most people who experience the most tremendous success in life work very hard, take a lot of risks, and manage those risks with significant momentum, riding one success story to another with sheer force.  And if they lose their edge, they start to find all their projects failing. 

Remarkably, Trump discussed the momentum killers in life that impacted Bill Levitt, such as his three marriages, most of which were under the strain of collapsing financial circumstances, and the sale of Levitt & Sons to ITT in 1968 for $92 million.  Levitt had gone from that frugal construction site leader picking up nails to buying lavish mansions and purchasing a yacht.  Then, he moved to a house in southern France.  And he blew through his money quickly and wanted to get back into the game, but had to wait ten years due to a non-compete clause preventing him from developing any real estate in the U.S. until 1978.  And after this period, Levitt tried to make his comeback, but failed miserably, until he was the crumpled mess that Trump saw at the party of tycoons in New York City, broken and pushed aside.  And when Trump asked him what happened, the old man said that “he had lost his momentum.”  This was very valuable information for a group of graduating students from a military academy.  Not the kind of things they typically teach in places like West Point.  However, it is very accurate, and one of those topics we should study more.  And Trump would know.  His life had gone through many of those same types of momentum killers.  However, Trump, guided by his basic philosophy of the Power of Positive Thinking, never lost his momentum.  No matter how bad things got, Trump never stopped being that guy on a construction site who picked up nails.  And he always worked hard and long.  Sure, he married three times, but the women could wait until he was done with work for the day, long after most people go to bed.  Rising early and working until everyone else is sleeping is a great way to maintain momentum in life.

And that’s the point of Trump’s commencement speech to the graduates of West Point in 2025.  It’s one thing to bring in a motivational speaker who says these things, and many consultants out there talk a big game, but they don’t stick around long enough to fight through things and do real work.  The world is starving for these kinds of people who say lots of pretty words, but lack the work ethic to be on a job site picking up nails to save money.  I receive numerous offers to be one of those talkers.  But to Trump’s point, you have to do more than talk in life.  You must be genuinely successful, and one key to achieving this is maintaining momentum.  Not to get sidetracked with fancy boats and expensive vacations, or to live in a house in the south of France.  But to think out of the box and break the rules with an all-in bid to gain momentum.  And once you get it, to keep it, you must work harder than everyone else.  And not listening to the negative people who want to break your momentum so that they can compete with you.  Trump’s West Point speech was wonderfully anti-institutional to a group of people who were graduating from a very rigid institution.  The advice about success is one that few people ever realize in life, but Trump, as a President who had to overcome a lot to even be in that position, gave free advice that was worth many millions of dollars.  And it is valuable to anyone who listens, and it is the key to making America Great Again.  Greatness is not achieved by doing what people tell you to do.  It is achieved by capturing momentum and using it to achieve success where others fail, and avoiding challenges to momentum that might stop it and force people to be just like everyone else in life, stuck in the mud, and complaining that their life is meaningless.  Some people gain momentum in life for a short period, such as when they are teenagers moving out of their parents’ home.  Or as business leaders who happen upon a good thing.  But few people ever get it and maintain it.  And Trump’s advice to the West Point graduates was good in that it told them how to keep it so that their graduation ceremony wouldn’t be the best thing to ever happen to them, but rather, just the beginning of an extraordinary life to come.
