Being “Vile and Disgusting”: Revealing the lazy progressives behind the teaching profession

Rich Hoffman is a vile, disgusting human being.

That quote comes from an angry mother in the comments section of the following video.

I enjoy comments like that, which I have received in copious amounts, because they say a lot about the kind of people who write them. For perspective, I can’t image writing such a thing to someone unless I’m responding to an attack from someone else. In my case, I have done nothing to the person writing the statement—I have not harmed her child in any way, I have not personally insulted her, I have not brought any ill will to her. The only I have done to cause so much anger, and to provoke such rhetoric is to say no to tax increases at the Lakota School System. The anger does not come from what I have done to her; it comes from what she wishes me to do on her behalf. It comes out of frustration that I am not willing to do what she has designed for me.

To care what someone’s opinion is—is to have respect for the person who gives the opinion. She obviously cares what my opinion is; otherwise she wouldn’t try to alter my direction with insults. To go out-of-the-way to actually insult someone, the goal is to change their behavior with peer pressure, through the condemnation. If the person being insulted does not value the opinion of the antagonist, then the insult has no power, and this is what led to the severity of her comments.

While it is true that I do insult the Obama presidency, unions, Democrats, sometimes Republicans, corrupt politicians, teachers caught in disgraceful acts, along with other issues, my comments come from anger that the people who took money from me as a tax payer are misusing it. If those people did not take something from me at some point, I would not otherwise care about the merit of their actions, but because they do, I am determined to get my money’s worth when something goes wrong. If they waste my money, they are going to hear about it, because honestly, I work too hard to make it. I do not enjoy seeing it squandered away by thieves. This is a big difference from what someone like the commenter above does, and what I do. Her anger derives from me not doing what she wishes me to, and my insults are simply getting back the value of my money spent. When I dish out insults it is to let the people know that I do not approve of how they are spending my money, and if they don’t want to hear it, then they shouldn’t take my money.

When I first became involved in the school levy issues the insults that were thrown in my direction by the same kind of pro levy supporters were that I should try to teach a class so I would know how difficult it is. My response was that I would be happy to teach a class at Lakota. In fact, I told a reporter for Spark Magazine, with the intention of Dean Hume to see it, that I would not only teach one class, but I’d teach three classes at the same time, just to show how easy it was, and to prove those teaching positions were not worth paying employees $60K per year. They didn’t take me up on my offer, so I have done my teaching here at Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom covering topics ranging from education reform, world history, comparative religion, mythological studies, American history, legal analysts, economic theory, literary review and many, many other issues. Basically, if a reader here wants to know something all they need to do is Google OVERMANWARRIOR, and the “KEYWORD” of their choice. Love, sex, marriage, political theory, science, psychology, just name the category and it has probably been covered here. I have written enough free information here to fill ten 100,000 word books and I have done it in my spare time, really just for fun. For all these highly paid teachers whom I heard so much about how they sacrifice so much to help children on their own time after their 7.5 hour work day is complete and getting paid very well to do it, I don’t see them going to the extra trouble I have to even back up their claims. I have seen them attempt to strike in 2008 and complain about their health insurance costs going up, but their idea of sacrifice is grading papers while they watch TV at home. I wrote ten novels worth of information for free, to help those who want to know the truth–who want to understand how things really work, and to learn what they should be learning in public education. Sometimes I do get a bit insulting, but it’s my prerogative. The bottom line is that those teachers, administrators and levy advocates have been exposed as frauds, as lazy and overpaid sloths that are too specialized and conduct their life as social parasites.

I know there are school board members at Lakota who have master’s degrees in education. I know there are teachers and parents who sincerely do care about the education of the community’s youth, but I am baffled as to why these people have not started blogs like the one I have here to compete with me, to counter my offerings with their version of the facts representing their own viewpoint. If I were a teacher making six figures, I can promise this much, I would have an education blog and I would be trying to teach the whole world everything I knew, since my living would be taken care of by the community tax payers. My proof is in the work I’ve already done. I would expect nothing less from the supposed sacrificial teachers and administrators, who claim they live, eat and breathe the benefit of their students. If that were the case, they would do a lot more for free, and they wouldn’t bitch about it by constantly asking for pay increases.

The real answer to why there aren’t more education blogs and education employees who are volunteering their time and energy for the sake of education is because they are really only in the business of teaching kids because they expect to be paid, and paid well. The reason these people think of me as vile, as disgusting, as the greatest, most diabolical threat to the security of the Lakota School District is because my actions expose their true intentions, which is to make as much money on the backs of children and pretend it’s for the greater good of humanity– that it’s a sacrifice they take at great personal cost. The reality is that those education employees are spouting union talking points, and the parents who support school levies do so because deep down inside, they are simply looking for a babysitter. If they really cared, they would go above and beyond, but they don’t.

Instead, they are using a tactic that was exposed here at this site almost two years ago called The Delphi Technique as a way to hit up tax payers for additional money to pay for their already inflated wages. The advocates of future school levies aren’t even smart enough to not call paying $167,000 for 2 different “facilitators,” to help Lakota pass a levy by name. Again Lakota is wasting money to try to pass a levy instead of just balancing their own budget with cuts to their labor! With these new facilitators they are going door to door into as many living rooms in the district over the next 6 months as possible and giving their speech as to why tax payers should pass a levy. They want a person on every street to have a “facilitator” meeting that includes everyone else on their street. That is the choice Lakota has made instead of doing any real work. The whole process is right out of the Saul Alinsky playbook. The word “Facilitator” in this case comes straight out of The Delphi Technique. They are so arrogant that they didn’t even try to hide what they are doing. Click the link below to see how it works.

https://overmanwarrior.wordpress.com/2010/12/29/the-delphi-technique-how-it-works/

So when these people call me names it’s not because of the comments I make. My anger magnifies when those same people hire “facilitators” to attempt to tell me and the community I live in that the sky is green and the grass is purple and expect the statement to go unchallenged. If those people want to call me names, it comes from their anger at being exposed for what they really are. They desire to keep the truth hidden from even themselves, let alone public scrutiny, and they make statements to such an extreme effect hoping it stops my behavior. The roots of their indiscretions are to prevent resistance with an insane peer pressure tactic that is deeply troubling, and a blatant attack on reasonable thinking.

Contextually, calling me a vile, disgusting human being is more of a plea than anything. It’s a cry out to stop holding up the mirror which shows how ugly these strange collectivist levy advocates behave in the light of day, in full view of everyone. It is just as insane as walking naked in public and expecting nobody to notice, then getting mad when someone points it out. The profanity is simply a mask intended to hide a laziness that is evident to everyone. Never again can a teacher or administrator write me under a fake email address and declare that I should try teaching, because I have already done it. I do it here every day, and I do it in larger amounts than any handful of professionals employed in the field of education. So the argument of the teacher sacrifice has also flown out the window forever, because people outside the school system see how little teachers actually do compared to their own occupations, and how whiny they sound with their silly organized labor pleas. It is for that exposure that the name calling comes in my direction, because the dirty little secrets of the education monopoly have been exposed, and they are embarrassed, as well they should be. For that reason, every insult to me is an honor that I cherish, and the worse, the better because of the meaning behind the act.

Monroe Superintendent is Stepping Down: Being between a rock and a hard place

Right on queue Monroe Schools Superintendent Elizabeth Lolli has indicated that she will be resigning from her position after the levy failure in August ahead of a November attempt. She says that the levy failure has nothing to do with her decision to give up an annual salary of $116,000 so she can work as a consultant for Butler County Educational Services, but the pattern is all too reminiscent of the behavior of the school districts’ immediate neighbor Lakota.

Two months after the levy defeat at Lakota in November of 2010 Mike Taylor retired stepping out of the heat that was brewing as it was revealed that the cause of the tax increase was due to excessively high teacher salaries, and that the superintendent had not even made an effort to manage his costs. In a video Taylor filmed before the 2010 levy attempt Taylor declared that teachers did not make enough for their intense 7.5 hour day 9 months out of the year, and that he thought teachers should be paid more!

Well it is that type of mismanagement of tax payer resources that have caused school districts all over Ohio to effectively go bankrupt, including Monroe which is now in a state fiscal emergency. If a superintendent who makes six figures isn’t going to manage the costs of their employees, then they are failures. Mike was smart to jump off the ship at Lakota because the game had been exposed, and he knew it. So he did the smart thing and retired.

Lakota actually improved their performance over the next 6 months without a superintendent which proved that the superintendent positions are just token occupations designed to shield school boards from direct responsibility when things go wrong. The superintendent is simply a spokesman for the schools and are more comparable to a public relations consultant whose sole propose is to pass tax increases than a CEO who runs a major company. Lakota prior to another levy attempt in the fall of 2011 hired the quarter million dollar double dipping delegator, the former retiree from Sycamore Schools Karen Mantia. Since bringing her on to exclusively pass a school levy Lakota has spent well over $250,000 in compensation on Mantia, plus another $160,000 dollars on public relations in just over a year’s time. Nearly half a million dollars alone has been spent on creating a positive public image for a school that is supposed to be teaching children. But the obvious function of the education jobs are to create government jobs with tax payer dollars and the superintendent is the guardian of that creation, not the regulation of cost. Superintendents are sold to the community as CEO’s, but their actual function is simply public relations. Mantia did nothing after Lakota’s levy failures to present to the education union a 5% reduction in their inflated wages and benefits in order to balance their budget; instead she participated in cutting electives, increasing sports fees, and aggressive busing reductions. The purpose of these measures were not to cut costs, but to punish the public for not passing a levy. (How do I know that? Because I am personal friends with several former and current school board members who have given me their notes from Levy University taught at their yearly OSBA conference in Columbus. Bet you won’t read about that in your local newspaper.)

The same type of extortion is going on at Monroe. Voters just turned down a vote in August yet the school board put another attempt on the ballot for November. Their intention is to keep putting a tax increase on the ballot until the public gives up resisting it. This is radical politics in the extreme and is a popular union tactic that is responsible for how the wages through collective bargaining drove up the labor costs of Lakota, and Monroe in the first place to average salaries of over $60K per year. Collective bargaining is the villain, since it is the “collective” body of the school employees who make demands through threats of strike to get short work days, extremely low health insurance costs, and 2% to 3% increases for all their years of employment. Teachers all through the previous decade would threaten to strike at the slightest mention of health insurance increases sending a strong message to school boards to not even attempt to regulate the wages, so nobody did.

The result is out-of-control budgets in all of Ohio’s 614 school districts and the only way they have to balance their budget is to increase taxes. This is the fault of the unions, and they are hiding in the backgrounds leaving school superintendents to take the bullets for them, people like Elizabeth Lolli who was paid six figures to put up and shut up. Monroe hopes that they can get a levy passed by parting ways with Lolli and blaming all their financial problems on their previous treasurer whom they are currently suing. But the fault is actually on all of them who constantly yielded to the union demands avoiding conflict like truck drivers avoid driving on an icy road.

What nobody has figured out is that these levy failures are the public’s way of striking back at the unions for their constant terrorism invoked through fear of work stoppages over the years, driving up their labor costs. When the public votes down a levy, they are saying, “NO” to the cost increases imposed on a school district, which is their way of managing the costs. The school board has an obligation to act on that vote, not cheerlead on behalf of the union who caused the problem in the first place. A “NO” vote is looked upon by the radical tax grabbers as a greedy, child hating enterprise, but where were the cares for the children when the teachers threatened to walk off the job because their health care was going up by .5%, or they demanded at 3% increase in pay instead of a 2%. Teachers who participated in those strikes are hypocrites and they are the cause of the current financial instability. When the public says “NO” to a school levy, they mean it. And when a public official at the local school board, or the state decide they are going to be arrogant enough to put another levy on the ballot the day after the public voted the tax increase down, they are proclaiming to the world that they are too spineless, and arrogant to listen to the public mandate, and that they will ram the issue down the throat of the public until the “NO” votes becomes a “YES” vote. And every person who participates in that process should lose their job.

Elizabeth Lolli knows she’s caught between a rock and a hard place just as Lakota’s Mike Taylor knew it, and the best thing to do these days is to take the money and run, because the money tree isn’t shaking any more. Tax payers have realized that they are being scammed and they don’t like it. And the unions wouldn’t dare attempt to threaten a strike now that people are on to their game, so the “NO” votes are getting bolder—finally. People for the first time in over a decade are openly voicing their opinion about these money scams coming from public education and they resent having their children wrapped up in the ordeal. There is a real and growing anger at the entire public education funding process. I’m so fed up with it that I think all parents should home school their children, because I don’t like the product public schools are producing. It certainly isn’t worth the massive amounts of money we throw at it. For the $2000 to $3000 I spend per year on property taxes, I’d rather save the money and take my family to Disney World than provide a baby sitting service for the young busy parents who live in my school district and more people are beginning to feel as I do, which is very bad for the public school unions—who I don’t think have a legal right to even exist.

So it’s no mystery that Monroe’s Superintendent Lolli is stepping down, because the writing is on the wall. She knows it and the school board knows it, and the union knows the mud is on their hands. If I were a superintendent I wouldn’t want to be in the situation either, even for a six figure income to simply be a public relations mouthpiece. Because before too long, the guilt overtakes the comfort that the money brings, and the heat in the kitchen is just too great. And the heat is very hot in the kitchen right now, and it’s about to get a lot hotter. Believe me, I know first hand. The only adults in the room on this whole education issue are the people who vote “NO” and deep down inside all the school board members know it, and the superintendents do as well. Because logic is on the side of the people who are declaring that the spending increases on salaries and benefits in public education have to be pulled down to reality, but the unions won’t budge leaving the school superintendent to be squashed in the middle. Superintendents like Lakota’s Mantia puts herself in that difficult situation willingly accepting she couldn’t get a job anywhere else as easy as a school superintendent and make so much money. So the public pressure is worth the financial return for her. But for people like Lolli, and Taylor, who can see where this funding road is going, they have logically and wisely decided to remove themselves from the debate which will be a loss for them no matter which way a vote in November dictates.

Obama and his Monkey God Lord Hanuman: Cleaning the ‘excrement’ out of The White House

The 2012 election measuring the follies of President Obama and his economic catastrophes are not of simple job performance. For those who are working on behalf of the Romney/Ryan ticket pounding on doors trying to get the message out to voters to eject the communist ways of Obama back to the abyss from which he came, traditional election procedures will not be enough. The reason is that the undefeated demon fighting monkey-god Lord Hanuman from Hindu faith has blessed the Obama administration with his protection as he seeks to pummel conservative America with its traditional Christian faith into the realm of demons so Obama can continue to reside on his shape shifting throne. Yes, Hanuman it seems protects President Obama from a figurine that has resided in the President’s pocket. Check out the video.

In case that didn’t convince you here is a BBC article on the matter. I’d say the BBC is an exceptionally competent news organization with no skin in the game, and they tend to cover international issues much, much better than the American media does.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/7468662.stm

To learn more about Lord Hanuman check out the Wikipedia link below:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hanuman

So what we know about President Obama is that he was personally mentored by the notorious communist Frank Marshell Davis as a young man. Davis was a very sexually kinky guy who appears to have taken several nude pictures of Obama’s mama, which has to be troubling. Obama’s grandparents in Hawaii were open socialists. Obama’s real father was a Kenyan anti colonialist revolutionary who left Obama as a little boy and was married to another woman while he was married to Obama’s white mother. Obama’s step father took him and his mother to Indonesia where Obama attended his most impressionable years in public school, and it is there that Obama discovered the Hindu god Lord Hanuman whom he reverse so intensely that he carries around a small figure of the god in his pocket———–and this isn’t alarming to anybody? Not to mention that Obama started his political life in the living room of a known radical terrorist, and had many other criminal thugs and provokers in his past that appear to guide the President’s hand in matters of economic devastation. To what aim?

Well, if you know anything about foreign Hindu gods and their intentions for the world, Hanuman would like to see the world bow to his feet. According to Obama he was introduced to Lord Hanuman by his step father Lolo as stated in his autobiography, “There standing astride the road was a towering giant at least ten stories tall with the body of a man and the face of an ape. That’s Hanuman, Lolo said as we circled the statue, the monkey-god. I turned around in my seat, mesmerized by the solitary figure, so dark against the sun, poised to leap into the sky as puny traffic swirled around its feet. He’s a great warrior,” Lolo said firmly, “strong as a hundred men. When he fights the demons, he’s never defeated.”

Well, this is a revelation that I did not know, and I’m sure many Americans didn’t know it either as many expect their president to be much more up to date on all things American, and not groveling at the feet of an undefeated monkey-god from Hindu faith. I can’t even conceive of carrying around such a thing in my pocket as Obama does. Such a thing for me might be carrying around a tiny Incredible Hulk  figure for good luck. Yet this information provides much-needed insight, especially in hindsight, into how the President thinks and why he does the strange things he does, and how he gets away with it. You can hear Glenn Beck and his team exploring this further in the video below from a recent radio show.

http://www.glennbeck.com/2012/08/17/hanuman-the-undefeated-demon-fighting-monkey-god/

Obama’s reverence to Hanuman may very well explain why the President has been able to deceive so many people right out in the open. An argument could be made that by praying to Lord Hanuman Obama has gained the Hindu god’s ability to shape shift, which the monkey-god was known to do in order to defeat his enemies.

In the Ramayana Hanuman changes shape several times. For example, while he searches for the kidnapped Sita in Ravana’s palaces on Lanka, he contracts himself to the size of a cat, so that he will not be detected by the enemy. Later on, he takes on the size of a mountain, blazing with radiance, to show his true power to Sita.

Also he enlarges & immediately afterwards contracts his body to out-wit Sirsa, the she-demon, who blocked his path while crossing the sea to reach Lanka. Again, he turns his body microscopically small to enter Lanka before killing Lankini, the she-demon guarding the gates of Lanka.

He achieved this shape-shifting by the powers of two siddhis; Anima and Garima bestowed upon him in his childhood by Sun-God, Surya. Based on this information Obama has been given the power by Hanuman of Anima and Garima to shape shift at will, to seduce to sleep the media and millions of Americans into believing that Obama is not responsible for the economic depression the country is in, he is not responsible for the 16 trillion-dollar debt, he is not responsible for taking America to the doorsteps of tyranny with the signing of the NDAA Act on New Year’s Eve, he is not an open communist with Muslim/Hindu ties, but is a Christian and a free market, capitalist—even though he hates rich people—even though he is himself, rich. The power of Anima and Garima are at work indeed!

Imagine little Obama growing up watching a program like the video below as opposed to Thundercats, or Spiderman on TV. The guy on the ground rubbing the king’s leg is Lord Hanuman.  Can anybody imagine Jesus rubbing the leg of King Herod Antipas?  Progressives for many years have looked to India as having all the answers to their life goals, but few understand what extreme collectivists the people of India are, and to what devotion they sacrifice the self to achieve “enlightenment.” This little production tells the story pretty well. This could be a scene from Obama’s childhood, and speaks loudly of his world view.

People not under the spell of Lord Hanuman can see that Obama is everything but a good president and we can see that he takes on many forms, just like the shape shifting god he reveres so highly in the undefeated monkey-god warrior Lord Hanuman. But to those under the spell of the shape shifting Lord Hanuman, they see a smiling man of honor who can sing them to their deaths without them being any wiser. Such powers are granted by the gods like Lord Hanuman, the ability to appear as one thing, while actually being something else.

So we’re not just fighting a Democratic presidential nominee, a covert Communist Party U.S.A infiltration member hiding behind his race to achieve the highest office in the land on a sea of lies dressed up to look appealing, but we are fighting the undefeated demon fighting monkey-god Lord Hanuman from Hindu faith who sees Americans as the great demon, and Obama as his personal soldier for glory who hides his real intentions behind a shape shifting ability that allows Hanuman to conquer America as the great warrior that Obama’s step dad proclaimed the monkey-god to be.

Obama is not a flag waving patriot who has a deep history and respect for The United States. Whether or not he was born as an American citizen is pointless even though it is incredibly relevant by Constitutional standards.  It only matters if there is respect for the Constitution, which there isn’t.  Obama spent his childhood oversees idolizing a father he never knew who was Kenyan, being raised by a kinky anthropologists student who traveled the world and married a dude from Indonesia who thought Hanuman was a great warrior. Years later Obama would carry around a small statue of Hanuman along with a tiny Madonna for good measure. But what Obama is—is not what he sells as the shape shifting president operating under seemingly divine influence of mysterious forces. It is not only Obama who must be defeated in November, but his undefeated demon fighting monkey-god Lord Hanuman. Because The White House is Americas house, and not a palace for Lord Hanuman, and after four years of occupancy, it’s time to clean all the monkey shit out of the house and stop the stank that hovers over Washington before it spreads to the rest of the country.

In America we have freedom of religion for the purpose of keeping it out of creating policy decisions which drive the country. People are free to honor whatever religion they chose. If a court-house wants to have the Ten Commandments to reflect their Christian heritage, they are free to do it. Or if President Obama wants to worship the monkey-god Hanuman with a little figure in his pocket, he’s also free to do it. But what is important is that the people know what they are electing. Politicians should be prevented from selling themselves one way, while actually being something totally different. In the case of Hanuman, the Hindu version of the story Obama was exposed to as a child is one of extreme collectivism, and this explains his thoughts about social welfare in more complicated terms than simply proving him a communist. Hanuman is honored for being able to rip open his chest to show his devotion to the king Ram and his queen imprinted upon his heart. Hindus the world over cherish this tendency has honorable. But in America we don’t have a tradition that honors such blind devotion, yet many feel that Obama believes himself a king, and that Americans should rip open their chests like Hanuman and have pictures of Barack and Michelle imprinted on their hearts, and that is not how Americans roll.

Contrary to what worldwide collectivist think of The United States, it is not that we are godless heathens that are demons to be defeated by the monkey-god Hanuman, but a free people who find more reverence in a Marvel Comics action figure than in a 85 foot tall statue of Lord Hanuman. The reason is we have a diverse and free culture that has evolved under that umbrella of non collectivist thought, and we have advanced, while many in India are still bathing in the filthy Ganges river and riding bicycles down dirt roads hoping that their revered god Hanuman might step off his pedestal and show the world his devotion to his king Ram. Here in America, we don’t honor kings, queens, princes, or princesses, and we certainly don’t worship presidents as sacred. We honor private property and our right to have it, and such psychological investments has made America a superior culture that is the envy of collectivists all over the world, because they have been left behind, and can only hope that infiltrators on behalf of Hanuman can deceive America into reverting back to huts and dirt roads by the shape shifting abilities of President Obama taking orders from the monkey-god that resides in his pocket to destroy any culture that is not collectivists by nature.

A Business Owner Speaks: All the reasons nobody should vote for Emperor Obama

What follows is a note from a mythical North Carolina businessman. It is so well written that I don’t want to do it the disservice of further commentary. I would encourage you dear reader to comprehend this letter fully, and send it to a friend, because it articulates perfectly the crises of our day.

To All My Valued Employees,

There have been some rumblings around the office about the future of this company, and more specifically, your job. As you know, the economy has changed for the worse and presents many challenges.  However, the good news is this: The economy doesn’t pose a threat to your job.

What does threaten your job however, is the changing political landscape in this country. Of course, as your employer, I am forbidden to tell you whom to vote for – it is against the law to discriminate based on political affiliation, race, creed, religion, etc.

Please vote for who you think will serve your interests the best. However, let me tell you some little tidbits of fact which might help you decide what is in your best interest. First, while it is easy to spew rhetoric that casts employers against employees, you have to understand that for every business owner there is a back story.

This back story is often neglected and overshadowed by what you see and hear.  Sure, you see me park my Mercedes outside. You saw my big home at last year’s Christmas party. I’m sure all these flashy icons of luxury conjure up some idealized thoughts about my life. However, what you don’t see is the back story.

I started this company 12 years ago. At that time, I lived in a 300 square foot studio apartment for 3 years. My entire living space was converted into an office so I could put forth 100% effort into building a company, which by the way, would eventually employ you.

My diet consisted of Ramen Pride noodles because every dollar I spent went back into this company. I drove a rusty Toyota Corolla with a defective transmission. I didn’t have time to date. Often times, I stayed home on weekends, while my friends went out drinking and partying. In fact, I was married to my business– hard work, discipline, and sacrifice.

Meanwhile, my friends got jobs. They worked 40 hours a week and made a modest $50K a year and spent every dime they earned. They drove flashy cars and lived in expensive homes and wore fancy designer clothes. Instead of hitting Nordstrom’s for the latest hot fashion item, I was trolling through the Goodwill store extracting any clothing item that didn’t look like it was birthed in the 70s.

My friends refinanced their mortgages and lived a life of luxury. I, however, did not. I put my time, my money, and my life into a business — with a vision that eventually, some day, I too, will be able to afford these luxuries my friends supposedly had.

So, while you physically arrive at the office at 9 am, mentally check in at about noon, and then leave at 5 pm, I don’t. There is no “off” button for me. When you leave the office, you are done and you have a weekend all to yourself. I unfortunately do not have the freedom. I eat, ****, and breathe this company every minute of the day. There is no rest. There is no weekend. There is no happy hour. Every day this business is attached to me like a 1 day old baby.

You, of course, only see the fruits of that garden — the nice house, the Mercedes, the vacations… You never realize the back story and the sacrifices I’ve made.. Now, the economy is falling apart and I, the guy that made all the right decisions and saved his money, have to bail out all the people who didn’t.

The people that overspent their paychecks suddenly feel entitled to the same luxuries that I earned and sacrificed a decade of my life for. Yes, business ownership has its benefits but the price I’ve paid is steep and not without wounds. Unfortunately, the cost of running this business, and employing you, is starting to eclipse the threshold of marginal benefit and let me tell you why:

I am being taxed to death and the government thinks I don’t pay enough. I have state taxes. Federal taxes.  Property taxes. Sales and use taxes. Payroll taxes. Workers compensation taxes. Unemployment taxes. Taxes on taxes. I have to hire a tax man to manage all these taxes and then guess what? I have to pay taxes for employing him. Government mandates and regulations and all the accounting that goes with it, now occupy most of my time. On Oct 15th, I wrote a check to the US Treasury for $288,000 for quarterly taxes. You know what my “stimulus” check was? Zero. Nada. Zilch.

The question I have is this: Who is stimulating the economy? Me, the guy who has provided 14 people good paying jobs and serves over 2,200,000 people per year with a flourishing business? Or, the single mother sitting at home pregnant with her fourth child waiting for her next welfare check?

Obviously, government feels the latter is the economic stimulus of this country. The fact is, if I deducted (Read: Stole) 50% of your paycheck you’d quit and you wouldn’t work here. I mean, why should you? That’s nuts. Who wants to get rewarded only 50% of their hard work? Well, I agree which is why your job is in jeopardy. Here is what many of you don’t understand .. to stimulate the economy you need to stimulate what runs the economy. Had suddenly government mandated to me that I didn’t need to pay taxes, guess what? Instead of depositing that $288,000 into the Washington black-hole, I would have spent it, hired more employees, and generated substantial economic growth. My employees would have enjoyed the wealth of that tax cut in the form of promotions and better salaries. But you can forget it now.

When you have a comatose man on the verge of death, you don’t defibrillate and shock his thumb thinking that will bring him back to life, do you? Or, do you defibrillate his heart? Business is at the heart of America and always has been. To restart it, you must stimulate it, not kill it. Suddenly, the power brokers in Washington believe the mud of America are the essential drivers of the American economic engine.

Nothing could be further from the truth and this is the type of change you can keep. So where am I going with all this? It’s quite simple. If any new taxes are levied on me, or my company, my reaction will be swift and simple. I fire you. I fire your co-workers. You can then plead with the government to pay for your mortgage, your SUV, and your child’s future. Frankly, it isn’t my problem anymore. Then, I will close this company down, move to another country, and retire.

You see, I’m done. I’m done with a country that penalizes the productive and gives to the unproductive. My motivation to work and to provide jobs will be destroyed, and with it, will be my citizenship.

While tax cuts to 95% of America sounds great on paper, don’t forget the back story: If there is no job, there is no income to tax. A tax cut on zero dollars is zero. So, when you make decision to vote, ask yourself, who understands the economics of business ownership and who doesn’t? Whose policies will endanger your job? Answer those questions and you should know who might be the one capable of saving your job. While the media wants to tell you “It’s the economy Stupid” I’m telling you it isn’t.

If you lose your job, it won’t be at the hands of the economy; it will be at the hands of a political hurricane that swept through this country, steamrolled the Constitution, and will have changed its landscape forever. If that happens, you can find me in the South Caribbean sitting on a beach, retired, and with no employees to worry about.

Signed, Your boss

“Can You Spare a Dollar”: President Obama begs for money

The Obama campaign has been very active—and desperate to find cash for his presidential race. On Monday July 30th and Tuesday July 31st I received many emails from their campaign, two of which are shown below. They need money. That’s all there is to it. I can’t say that I’ve ever heard of a campaign that is this desperate so far out from the actual election. This information is indicative of the type of people who simply spend massive amounts of money without an appreciation of what that money’s value is. Here is the first email.

Rich —

I’m not interested in the money race, so I’m just going to tell you how it is.

Our strength heading into November is going to be determined in large part by how much money we raise now. That’s why the fundraising deadline tomorrow at midnight is so important.

We can’t afford to lose — the stakes are just too high.

Can you stand the thought of a president who would take away guaranteed health coverage from people with pre-existing conditions, would be “delighted” to sign a bill banning all abortions, and would raise taxes on the middle class while lowering taxes for millionaires and billionaires?

Me neither.

Donate $3 or whatever you can right now to make sure we can keep Mitt Romney and other Republicans out of office:

Thanks,

Jeffrey

Here is the second email:

Rich —

Tonight’s deadline will be the most critical so far. It’s all going to come down to these last few months, and the budget decisions we make in August could make or break campaigns across the map.

Can you chip in $5 or more before midnight?

I’m gnawing through my pen caps over here. Watching the numbers come in is not exactly a stress-free task, and that’s because of what’s on the line.

It’s not just who will be in the White House for the next four years or whether we’ll keep a Democratic majority in the Senate. It’s what our country will look like for years to come: if our kids will have access to quality health care, education, and the careers they dream of, or if they’ll grow up in a country whose leaders shrug and say “you’re on your own.”

It’s in your hands. And I want to give those Democrats and the President the resources they need to get this done. Please give before the crucial midnight deadline:

And tomorrow: new pens.

What this amounts to is panhandling. Obama and his campaign employees–which are incredibly overstaffed–are essentially saying to the mass population, “brother, can you spare a dime?” They are behaving like panhandlers on a city sidewalk looking for money to buy more booze and cigarettes. Asking for a dollar or three dollars to keep the Obama campaign afloat is a ridiculous proposition. I never get those kinds of emails from the Romney camp and I am in their system. They just don’t operate in the same fashion.

Where Obama is and why he is struggling to find money is that he has already spent the money from his big donors on tactics that haven’t worked, because the misleading activity the money was designed to cover cannot overcome the foolish behavior of the Obama Administration. Since Obama is a socialist, he has alienated most business owners with his preposterous Keynesian economic theory of expanding the financial system from the middle out. Obama is a complete failure as president because he believes in the wrong financial theories. The economy does not grow under the umbrella of communism, and Obama’s theories flow from that assumption. The middle-class does not create jobs. They work for people who do.

The people I know who have money for boats, long vacations, and huge retirement packages all work for government. It used to be the people I knew who possessed those kinds of benefits all worked for the car companies under the UAW labor unions—which is a communist concept. Those companies went out of business. The Firebird/Camero plant in Norwood was leveled in the late 80’s because the unions put them out of business. The Fisher Body plant in Hamilton went out of business around the same time, because the unions destroyed the business. Public unions that were implemented in Ohio around the same time as those automotive jobs were going away, were legalized, so today it is teachers, police and firefighters who have the kind of perky jobs that used to go to the automotive employees. Only the government employees can’t go out of business because government can simply raise taxes to pay for the extraordinary benefits they consume. When the auto manufactures went out of business it was because there cars were too expensive and didn’t last long enough. Nissan, Toyota, and Honda destroyed Ford, Chrysler, and Government Motors over market share because the Japanese cars were better and cheaper.

Obama and his gang of looters views union employees as the middle-class. But everyone can’t be a teacher, a cop, or a firefighter. We can’t have an entire society making up those jobs, because there has to be tax payers who have the money to fund it. Currently, we are at a time as is the evidence of all the school levies in Ohio, the layed off firefighters, cops are a direct result of public employees taking more money than their market value can support. Communists like Obama do not understand how to determine that value. They have an arbitrary value in their minds and they use the enforcement of government to make fiction a reality with higher taxes.

Obama is approaching his presidential campaign the way he has his last term as president. He spends money on theories that are economically unsound to force the middle-class to drive the economy. But it is not the middle-class that makes the economy work. They may spend the money they earn as laborers, but they do not begin those jobs from an idea in their heads. If they do, they are typically wealthy and are taxed at the highest tax bracket anyway. Obama’s plan is to tax those people more so the middle-class can believe they are equal economically to the job creators. And they aren’t.

The job creators have decided not to start new jobs because they don’t want to pay for Obamacare. They don’t want to pay higher taxes to all the community looters like teachers, firefighters, and cops who are simply overstaffed to “create” jobs. Job creators have stayed on the fence to avoid aggressive EPA regulations, a corrupt DOJ, and an overpowering IRS. If the money they work hard to make is simply going to be looted, they will not go to the trouble of creating those jobs. That is what Obama does not understand with his street bum attitude.

Obama has spent the country’s money into bankruptcy, and he has spent his campaign money into bankruptcy. His yield on that money has been a total failure by any investment analysis. He fails because he doesn’t understand the basics. The economists he listened to, the so-called experts were fools also. Just because they have a degree from some Ivy League school does not dictate their level of intelligence. It simply says they were members of an orthodox club of academics. It does not prove the merit of their theories. Only history can do that, and it has. Obama has spit in the face of the job creators and believes that the middle-class will fund the millions of dollars he will need to run a fall campaign. But they can’t, because they don’t have the money.

The real middle-class needs the job creators to provide them with jobs driven by market valued wages to provide them the money to spend on the economy. The money does not fall in the lap of the middle-class just because they show up at work, or while they are fishing on Cumberland Lake. Money has to be made, and if nobody is making the money, then of course the money will be hard to come by.

Romney is getting money for his campaign because job creators want Obama off their backs. It’s that simple. Nobody but the type of employees who want handouts wants a pan handler like Obama to be in charge of the Executive Office. All the money Obama has spent accomplished was putting a suit on a turd, to appear nice. But the money can’t make a turd into gold, and that’s what Obama thinks will happen. That is why he has failed and why all he can do is beg for money from people who don’t have it, and never will until somebody else gives it to them. Those people will not be giving Obama money this time. They already learned their lesson. Obama without all the fancy cloths and the White House as his residence is simply a bum. His mind is the same as a pan handler. Nice cloths and a staff of advisors could make a bum appear sophisticated if they shaved the bum and clothed him well. But such a person does not miraculously become intelligent because they dress nice. A bum is still a bum when all they know to do to make money is hold out their hand, which is precisely what the Obama Campaign is doing.

1-40 Tunnels: Explaining the next phase

I have to address a couple matters, one is fun, and the other is a clarification. First off, the picture shown here is the twin tunnels on I-40 in North Carolina just 4 miles south of the Tennessee border. For those in the media who are reading the advance copies of my new novel and have read the very exciting scene involving the roadblock at the twin tunnels, that scene takes place on the other side of that mountain at the mouth of those two tunnels. It is easy to see why the gunfire and explosions caused so much trouble when you observe how rugged the landscape is in that region.

I put that picture up because currently road crews are closing that tunnel at night diverting traffic through a service road so that the tunnel can undergo much-needed maintenance. For those who have read the novel, the kind of thing that happens in the story is a serious threat in that area, and requires constant maintenance. For those who have not read that scene, you will soon find out. Loud noises and violent behavior are not good for such areas. But it’s a fun fact of the novel to know that such an extreme occurrence is quite possible, and care must be constantly taken to avoid such catastrophes.

The other thing is attached to my new book as well. Some of my readers here–people I respect a great deal–are concerned that I may lose my credibility with the school levy issues by appearing self-serving because of all my promotional efforts over my new book. This deserves a bit of explanation that is needed at this point for my readers who visit Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom every day. To begin, a reminder of what my life was like before I got personally involved in the Lakota Levy in 2010 needs to be seen. The video below is a sample of the kind of life I lived before joining forces with the people who would eventually make up No Lakota Levy to defeat those tax increases. The efforts of my previous book, and several film festivals along with my other exertion in a professional sense had me constantly on the road, going to award shows, trade shows, and many other adventures that come as part of that life, which I put on hold to help solve community issues.

In 2010 I put aside some of these fun occupational endeavors and took a few years to contribute something to the battle that is raging in our nation. I started helping local liberty groups where I could, as I still do. I started this blog site as a way to offset the information that the newspapers wouldn’t cover, and I took on the Lakota School Levy because it was a lie being told on the backs of children, and looked to be devastating to a community I grew up in, and is currently in my hands to protect. I was between books anyway completing The Symposium of Justice in 2004, and was writing Tail of the Dragon and doing my research to make that manuscript into a saleable story that American Book Publishing would eventually pick up.

Working around progressive entertainment types I knew what kinds of things pro tax advocates would attack in my character, so when the Enquirer did the article about me featuring my whip work, I knew how the politics would play out. Believe me; it was very much by design. The pro tax people ridiculed my use of whips which helped me figure out who was who. I used that information to my advantage. I didn’t fight those levies to be mean, or destructive. I did it because it was the right thing to do. My ultimate message was the importance of traditional values versus progressive values being taught in school, and I didn’t then nor in the future wish to pay higher taxes for a “progressive” education. I could have went around the country doing dozens of whip shows trying to promote traditional values, or I could do the unthinkable and apply those skills to explaining Keynesian economics which is how public schools function much to their own detriment. Of course I chose the latter.

Before the start of the last levy campaign I told my friends in No Lakota Levy that I had a book coming out in 2012, and they needed to find another spokesman for the levy fighting effort. I told them I’d still fight the levy, but I didn’t think it would be right to do media stuff for my book, and do media stuff against the levy, because the mixture would appear self-serving. For that very reason I avoided any elected offices, even though many wanted me to volunteer, because when Tail of the Dragon was ready to come out, I would have to put my effort behind that promotional endeavor, and being formerly involved in Tea Parties and other official positions while promoting a book is tacky. I don’t like it when others do it, so I sure wasn’t about to do it myself. I hoped that after two solid years of fighting levies that other people had learned how to do it, and could become the face of those efforts in the future.

In February of 2012 it was time to make a change which had been talked about ahead of time, so I picked the fight that would bring all the rats to the surface so everyone could see who was hiding where. The pro tax supporters conducted a negative survey against me outside a local Kroger store, so the time to act was then. I let my anger go, because it was well justified and it created the opportunity I needed to take this next step. This allowed new people at No Lakota Levy to pick up the baton and carry on. I of course would continue to cover things as I had, but I needed the freedom to move on to book promotion mode.

I know people who successfully have their hands in everything, but I’m not like that. I enjoy my time to myself, so I don’t like being too busy. If I’m going to promote a book, I’ll put my effort into it, since it’s something I already believe in. When the time comes to fight for another community issue, I’ll be there. If the group we have in place is not ready, then I’ll assemble another one to meet the challenge. It’s that simple. But life is always in motion, and especially at my age, it is very busy.

A lot of people on the inside believe that Tail of the Dragon will do well. They believe it’s a very good book, and I am inclined to agree. But you just never know. The public may reject it, the timing may not be right, there could be problems. Any number of things can happen, and they often do. I hope the book does well, because if it does I will get the chance to write a book I’ve been thinking about for over ten years, called The Trial of Fletcher Finnegan. That book looks to be well over 1 million words. It will be considerably larger than Atlas Shrugged and will be quite an effort. I will need a good showing out of Tail of the Dragon to free my time up enough to be able to write the new book because it will be an exclusive task of mine for a number of years.

So I am putting out a lot of promotional material. These days, that’s how it’s done. For my daily readers, some of which have already read and loved the book, they are getting tired of seeing all my promotional stuff, because they’ve already been there and done it. It’s a good memory for them, but it isn’t new any longer. But for many people every day who come here for the first time, I put those ads up for them. Today alone I have multiple readers from 13 different countries ranging from Sweden, Romania, and Saudi Arabia to New Zealand and Australia. This is pretty normal, and as it would be thought that these readers are tuning in to see what happened in the Colorado shooting, ironically most of the views come from my articles about school levies. All those countries mentioned each had more than 10 hits each, so the Tail of the Dragon ads are important to gaining international exposure. Even though my daily readers are used to the Tail of the Dragon cover and blurbs, many of these international readers are just seeing them for the first time.

If I were in an elected office, or was an official spokesman paid by someone else to represent a product, I wouldn’t cross promote my personal projects with Lakota stories, or political material concerning the presidential election. But the fact of the matter is that I have deliberately made myself free of those obligations so I can do what I have been planning for quite some time. At this time there isn’t a levy at Lakota to fight, and there are plenty of ground troops in the liberty groups to handle the administrative stuff. I do my part in giving a local voice to many contemporary issues that get missed in the mainstream media outlets, stuff the liberty groups need to advance their positions, being someone who can untangle the complicated web of modern politics so it’s easy for others to see.

I offer the work at Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom for free, because there is a need for it. If I make money it is not from memberships, or any donation. It will be because someone bought a book of mine. I work through many of the problems that will be in future stories by putting my thoughts and notes up for all to see, so I can refine those thoughts into more articulate works in actual books in the future. A good portion of these articles are my personal notes that I share for the development of ideas. I figure that if I need to resolve my thoughts on a matter than others do as well, so by putting the articles on this forum, I hope they help others.

But I don’t formally belong to any groups so I can have the freedom to pursue my own path, so that I cannot be accused of indulging in self-serving messages. Once the novel comes out, I may change that, but for the time being, that’s the way it has to be due to the nature of public relations. I support many groups, and I may attend their meetings. However to avoid the accusations of being self-serving, I keep my involvement limited to a supportive role. For me the most supportive role I can think of is to help frame the argument so others can see it clearly, and act on it. I had an open window between projects to offer myself publicly to controversial subjects, and I will have an open window again. But as of now that window is closed. That does not mean I will not write and contribute articles for analysis as I have, but my official spokesman roles for those endeavors will have to be on hold till my window opens once again.

I hope that clears things up for those who were wondering. It is much easier to answer the question this way as opposed to separate emails. When it comes to these kinds of things, constant reinvention of roles is very important so that stagnation does not set in. When you get a chance to work on a project that has national exposure, you take it, because the results will be useful later.

Shooting in Colorado: Defending The Dark Knight and Rush Limbaugh from the Jokers

It looks as though James Holmes—the gunman in the tragic shooting that killed 12 people during the new Batman movie showing at midnight in Colorado, was apparently a member of the ultra violent Black Bloc Occupy Movement. But to understand the scope of the violence it is important to examine the film Dark Knight Rises as a cultural activity of great importance, so important that Rush Limbaugh made some wild speculations just days before the tragedy of which he was heavily criticized.

In the film The Dark Night Rises the villain’s name is Bane leaving Rush Limbaugh to speculate that the producers of the newest Batman movie are subliminally attempting to steer millions of young pop culture movie fans against Mitt Romney in the upcoming presidential election. Limbaugh’s theory is rooted in the recent Obama attacks on Bain Capital where Romney was formerly employed. Obama using Bain Capital in a derogatory way to his communist leaning base sees wealthy people as vile, so the connection is intended to be derogatory. Limbaugh in the clip below theorizes that the film makers in Hollywood who are traditionally very progressive and overwhelmingly support Democratic candidates like Obama planned all along. Check out the clip for yourself.

The young lady in that clip exhibits wonderfully some of the modern problems that young people have with conservatives. Listening to her sarcastic statements, she is right, Bane was a comic book character that was invented a long time ago, and Christopher Nolan simply used the character with his own variation. Rush’s comments regarding a huge movie that will turn out millions upon millions of young people aged 18 to 30 all think the conservative talk show host is an out-of-touch wealthy snob who doesn’t understand comic books, are damaging.

What the young lady doesn’t know is that in the sinister world of politics, Rush is usually right. Such promotional exploits are common in politics, and in a presidential race where the stakes are very high, 9 times out of 10 Limbaugh is completely right, where the young people do not have the life experience or wisdom to see how the dots of life connect. Without question Obama will play on this situation by stating in a public speech that he knows something about comic book characters showing how hip he is, winning him thousands of young voters who are unsophisticated enough to vote for a president because he knows something about Batman and not what kind of political philosophy he lives by.

This is the trouble with politics—is that it’s disconnected from average everyday life. For Rush to stay on top of the political world, he has to read about a lot of very boring happenings going on around Washington D.C. There isn’t much time for movies, music, and television. With a lot of my Tea Party friends, they tend to read a lot of law books, statistical data, and history. They tend to lose touch with the fun aspects of modern culture, like epic movies and television.

I make a point to pay attention to the things that are happening at the local movie theater, and what is popular on television, because to me, these things are thermometers of society’s temperature. I can see why Rush would belittle popular culture because he gets frustrated that more people don’t pay close attention to politics. But many people are just turned off by it, because they don’t understand how it directly affects them. Yet when they are older they will become Rush Limbaugh listeners once they learn a thing or two and become wiser human beings.

Currently I enjoy watching MasterChef with my wife on Fox. I do not see MasterChef as a waste of time. I find it as an exercise of capitalism at it’s finest. The best chefs compete against each other to make food—something every human being is interested in. Gordon Ramsey brings a sense of excellence to the show that is pure capitalism. I look at Gordon Ramsey and Richard Branson of the various Virgin companies as being two of the reasons England has moved away from socialism and more toward capitalism. Currently, England is more of a capitalism country than America is—which is sadly pathetic. If MasterChef was set up as a work of communism or socialism, it would be extremely boring. For that matter so would the game of football. Without capitalism, a process of determining who the best is and putting the best team on the field to compete against other teams who have done the same, football would be boring. It would be more like soccer, where the forwards cannot get behind the full backs if a halfback lobs the ball deep down field. The offense is crippled by being regulated to staying behind the defense—which is stupid. That is socialism and that’s why soccer games are boring compared to American football.

In Nolan’s Batman films which Rush Limbaugh probably doesn’t know because he’s decided to place himself above popular culture and study political science–would notice that the villains in Batman are socialists, thugs, and anarchists. In this new Batman film Bane is the terrorist thug that could easily be compared to many of the coercive threats we see in the world around us who use fear to implement their distorted vision of reality. Also in this film is Catwoman who is a noticeable socialist, as she steals from the rich so she can have. In the previous Batman film the Joker was an unequivocal anarchist. But all along Batman is a mega capitalist, wealthy beyond belief and uses his vast wealth to fight crime.

The shooting that took place during one of the midnight showings ironically resembles very much the kind of character that Bane is in the new Batman film. Without question progressives will scream for more security to protect society from troubled people like the 24-year-old who dressed up in a mask and bullet proof vest to gun down innocent movie goers. They will want metal detectors, gun laws—less violence in films. Some may even blame the content of the Batman films themselves for putting into the mind of the young shooter the fantasy of killing over a dozen people for no particular reason while injuring over 50. The emotional pleas of the looters will like the comments of Rush Limbaugh speak with limited knowledge in an emotional argument.

One of the plot points of Dark Knight Rises is that stricter criminal laws do not protect society, and a life without the individual crime fighting efforts of Batman creates a culture that gives rise to villains like Bane. The youngster who decided he could enter a crowded movie theater with a gas canister and open fire into the audience is like Bane in that he knew he could prey on society who would not fire back at him. The shooter in the Dark Knight movie knew that he was superior to every other member of the audience by way of firepower, so he temporarily was the most dominant superior male which is a MAJOR concern for most men young and old alike. Men are measured in their minds by their pecking order behavior, so when other males are unarmed and one man is armed, the man with the gun is superior—artificially so, but superior none-the-less.

In movies, the story of Batman, The Dark Knight Rises is the egg, where society is the chicken. Desire for the murder of innocent people comes from a human fantasy, and stories like this latest Batman film reflect the dangers of those fantasies. The story is an artistic appraisal of our social circumstances. Art reflects the culture that produces it. This is why there was such a demand for The Dark Knight Rises to begin with and why there were millions of eager film goers ready to watch the film at midnight.

My answer to many things has labeled me among the most sensitive peers of our society as something to be feared. My most ardent critics have tried to designate me as a “loose cannon.” They have attempted to place me personally in the same category as the typical “lone wolf” candidate, which the shooter in this case will certainly fall under. His mother was aware of it as soon as the shooting happened, so the family was aware that this kid was a danger to society. I would say that people who consider themselves sheep are naturally afraid of wolves–those who are able to function alone. What they don’t understand is that there are different degrees of “lone wolf” types and I am certainly not the type who would terrorize others to achieve some unrealized fantasy.

The question is what the social reaction to violence should be–immediately after the shooting the looters of government were already lining up to play on people’s fears, to act as though they could save society with a new law, or by removing guns from society or attacking Tea Party types who want less intrusive government. Progressives fantasize that they could identify dangerous people like this Dark Knight shooter ahead of time, but they can’t and they never will. Ironically, the story of this particular Batman movie has the answer.

Nobody expects Batman to come into the theater to save the audience from the evil Banes of the world–the thugs, the terrorists, the radical anarchists who want to kill others to prop up their meaningless lives. But the sufferers were victims because they were unarmed and instead of fighting back when the danger happened they turned and ran away, which is the worst thing to do when facing an aggressive enemy. The answer is not to have a version of TSA in the movie theater as an overreaction to the emotional distress that is felt upon evidence of such violence. The 911 disaster happened with box cutters, and I know people who can do far more damage with their bare hands than with any knife, yet entire commercial aircraft were hijacked and deliberately rammed into the World Trade Center killing thousands with just a sharp edge. The TSA was a big government reaction to that disaster, which didn’t solve the problem; it simply advanced socialism in America. The solution with 911 would have been eliminate the threats on the planes, and if the people flying on those planes would have thought of it, they could have easily of overtaken the hijackers. Not without some death, but at a much less cost. And in the theater at the Batman film, the answer would have been 20 to 30 gun carrying movie goers standing up and killing the lone gunman.

We have the Second Amendment to protect us from terrorists like this gunman, and because government has inserted itself into the situation is why the entire audience got up and ran for the exit away from the gun fire which caused much more death as the gunman had no challenger in a theater of hundreds of people. The culture that has taught these film goers that there is safety in surrender is at fault. Many more died because people turned and ran instead of standing and fighting, and that is how people like this shooter James Holmes, presumably a member of the Black Bloc Occupy radicals made victims of so many innocent people. More on this line of thought can be seen here:

http://occupywallst.org/forum/occupy-black-bloc-member-james-holmes-shoots-up-au/

Because of this shooting there will need to be more investigation into the Black Bloc group, as they have shown themselves to be very dangerous. But in the case of Batman’s Dark Knight Rises, millions of fans confused about what the role of justice is in our modern life look to Batman to help them understand what they need to do to prevent the villains of these films from harming their lives. They look to Batman as their protector, as their spokesman for clarity. Or in the case of James Holmes, he identified with the Joker from the last film, as he was dressed as that character when the police arrested him. When it comes to movies, if the audience member likes the bad guys more than the good guys, which is the first indication that there is something deeply wrong with the individual viewing the story.

Government because it wants to be the center of attention wishes to be the protector of society. But because they have helped make a society of dependents, they leave those people open to random acts of violence by people like Holmes and groups like Black Bloc. The world of politics does not make much sense to young people who are sold mixed messages in popular culture. The images in the Batman films seem to make sense—that the individual must fight for their rights and defeat evil with courage. But outside of the movie theater they are told to run and to seek help from government. In this case the shooter Holmes was captured, his apartment booby-trapped and his mother knowing her son was a part of the killings was quick to say so.

Rush Limbaugh is a great talk show host because he can see things that are not so obvious to the average person. Unfortunately, he missed the point of Dark Knight Rises as he looked at the film from the lopsided scope of politics. The real message is one of hope, and the need for heroics against the terrorists of the world—from villains like Bane. In our current society the tempers are so volatile that fringe groups like Black Bloc wish to suppress any likeness to their assaults on capitalism by attacking popular culture messages like Dark Knight Rises so to snuff out the hope that such a film gives to the masses. Limbaugh knew there was more to the story and detected there was something amiss. He just assumed that it was literal politics, and not the more obscure battles found in the realm of art and entertainment.

James Holmes in his radical hatred and perverse desire for control took a gun into a crowded movie theater to show his dominance over an unarmed populace. The fans of the film were in that darkened theater to enjoy the fantasy of seeing clearly the acts of good versus evil in a society that is too many shades of gray. But reality visited them in the form of James Holmes masked as a terrorist right off the screen in the villain Bain, yet dressed as the dreaded Joker. The lesson is not to run and hide, or hope that the villain will have compassion and show mercy. Government was only there to pick up the criminal after the deaths, they could not stop it. Gun control laws, metal detectors, extra employees at the theater could not have stopped Holmes. Only a well armed population who knew how to use their weapons had the power to stop evil from spreading and ruining the lives of the innocent. Batman cannot save us in the darkened theaters of life, or in the light of day-to-day reality. Only we can save ourselves with a little help from Smith and Weston, and hollow tip bullets that could have ended the life of James Holmes in seconds, so the lives of over a dozen innocent lives could have went on. It is ultimately the point of a gun that the Jokers of terrorism fear most. The lack of a gun makes all of society a victim to the distortions of crazed lunatics and the fantasies of delusion.

If I were a conspiracy theorist—which I’m not, I’d suggest that this Colorado shooting was awfully convenient for the progressive fruit cakes that are trying to undo our nation.  During this shooting story Rush Limbaugh was cast into a bad light, the influence of a very beloved film franchise came into question, and the question of gun laws is suddenly on everyone’s mind.  Because of this shooting, Rush will have to mind carefully what he says, which progressives are desperate to see happen.  Film studios will be forced to produce less violent action films and more stupid comedies.  And politicians who support the Second Amendment will be tempted to keep their mouths shut while the new UN anti-gun bill comes to the United States for acceptance.  The answer to the question if politicians are scum enough to stage such an event through direct or indirect means it is yes.  But we don’t need to theorize on the backs of such a terrible tragedy.  All Americans need to do to honor the slain is to continue listening to Rush Limbaugh, make sure to see Dark Knight Rises not just once, but multiple times, and be sure to tell your politicians that they better not even think of signing the United Nations Small Arms Treaty.  Such an act is un-American.  We need more guns, not less of them, because that is the only path to real safety.  The enemy we must guard against is not the guy dressed up as the Joker.   It’s the jokers who call themselves politicians looking out for our safety.

Atlas Shrugged Part II: The Heroes from Islands of Adventure

The video you have just seen is the most recent trailer for the upcoming film Atlas Shrugged Part II coming this October, about a month after the release of my new novel, Tail of the Dragon. This is delightful, because objectivist leaning stories will fill the fall just ahead of the next presidential election giving the voting public insight into thoughts they may not previously have considered regarding political theater.

I think Atlas Shrugged is one of the most important novels of all time. I would put it up against anything ever written. But specifically, it is the novel of America. It is a result of American culture, and it is the story that defines the success of the American economy. Atlas Shrugged contains within it the skeleton key to solving most of America’s current problems. That is why part two of a three part series is coming out just before the 2012 election.

There is some concern that Part II will not be consistent with Part I which was well received, but blasted by the progressive left for not being motion picture type quality. The first Atlas Shrugged film was true to the novel and came out feeling like a made for television film as opposed to a box office masterpiece, but that was OK, because the story is powerful enough to carry those slight imperfections. But the makers of the Atlas Shrugged series were not happy with that assessment, so they retooled, bringing in new talent both in front of the camera and behind it to make Part II more epic as a motion picture experience. By the look of their marketing campaign it appears that they clearly understand what their objective is.

That very simple preview shown above articulates how I personally feel, and many thousands like me undergo as well. In my life, the world does feel like it is crumbling around me, and I do feel I have a responsibility to hold up everything. I know that if I decided to set the world down thousands of lives that are directly connected to mine will perish. So constantly in my mind is the notion of whether or not to continue holding up the world, or setting it down and saying to hell with it. I fight with that notion every single day.

Progressive minded people hate Atlas Shrugged, and they will say that my feelings about that advertisement are presumptuous, narcissistic, and flat out arrogant. They would say to me as they have all my life, you should share the burdens of living with your wife, you should take assistance from those who offer it, and that holding up the world is a “shared” collective endeavor. Well they’re wrong, it’s not. Every funeral I’ve been too, every furniture move, every game of tug of war, there is always one or two people who do most of the heavy lifting. Other people may grab hold of a corner and pretend they are helping, but most of the time they could be completely removed and the heavy object would still be lifted by the key personnel.

This is how it is in life. In virtually every business, every sports activity, every group activity, only a few people do the heavy lifting of holding everything up. That’s not an attack on all the people who don’t have the fortitude, the intelligence, or the strength to do the heavy lifting it takes to carry society on their shoulders. It’s just human nature. It is in this principle that communism ultimately fails one hundred percent of the time, because it takes away the incentive of someone to do the heavy lifting of making decisions. Without that incentive, nobody picks up anything to carry. That is the disease of our modern society. The strong that do all the lifting are beginning to shrug that tendency because of the parasites who want to take equal credit for all the hard work, when it is the heavy lifter who makes the lifting possible.

Communism, socialism, progressivism and all those weakness centered political philosophies allow the masses to believe they are equally important to the heavy lifters. Obama is the perfect example of a modern political looter, who wishes to maintain the illusion he grew up believing, that he was an important heavy lifter, when in fact he’s simply a leech. He was paid by the political left to spread communism into American culture. They bought his books, and propped him up politically for the purpose of stealing from those who carry the world and allowing those who don’t the belief that they are equally significant in the social tapestry.

On the eve of this posting a dear friend of mine is preparing to take their family to Universal Studios Islands of Adventure, which is one of my favorite places on earth. The reason people feel a certain magic upon entering that fantastic amusement park is because it celebrates the superheroes in our modern mythologies who exhibit the tendencies defined in the book Atlas Shrugged. One of the greatest rides in that theme park is the Spiderman 3D Adventure. There is simply nothing like it anywhere. It’s brilliant. But what makes Spiderman great is the character himself. Spiderman in his fights against crime sometimes gets help, but ultimately, it is Spiderman who is required to save the day when the bad guys show up. Even though everyone who rides this ride does not have the abilities of Spiderman, they can appreciate the heroic traits needed to make such a superhero possible. Another great ride that my friend is particularly excited to visit with their children when at Islands of Adventure is the new Harry Potter ride. In the stories of Harry Potter he sometimes relies on his friends to help carry him when he needs it, but at Hogwarts it is Harry Potter that holds everyone up in the entire story. Without Harry Potter, Hogwarts would lose to Lord Voldemort. When visitors ride the new Harry Potter ride, they are celebrating the mythic premise of Harry Potter holding up the world.

As my friend travels to Florida the new Batman film is being released to a hungry crowd. The movie is successful because Batman is needed. In the new film, Bruce Wayne has retired from fighting crime and tries to live a normal life. This is essentially what Atlas Shrugged is all about. The world of Gotham City falls apart because Bruce Wayne is retired from fighting crime as Batman. If communists had things their way, the movie would be called Gotham City fights crime, not Dark Knight Rises. In my new novel it is Rick Stevens who takes on the entire legal system, and in Atlas Shrugged it is John Galt who is holding up the entire world on his back. A collective sum cannot be relied upon to save the day. Collectivism is a fantasy of the human mind created by the sensitive and feeble types. It is not realistic, or natural.

The special feeling visitors get when they enter amusement parks like Islands of Adventure is the celebration of individual heroics. They do not celebrate collectivism in ANY fashion. There is a truth in the affirmation of heroics even if it is presented in a fantasy setting. There is more human truth in Spiderman than the Devil Rays game being played across town at Tropicana Field. Sports are a collective team activity and most adults identify with that form of entertainment over the magic of Spiderman in the outside world. But once inside the amusement park of Islands of Adventure, they are children again, and for a little while, they remember how the world works. This is why Atlas Shrugged is such a successful and important book. It uncovers the understanding and appreciation of those who hold up the world upon their shoulders. Progressives wish to continue believing they are heroes who hold up the world through shared strength. Progressives are terrified of the message behind Atlas Shrugged, because even in stories like Spiderman, Batman, and Harry Potter, the authors made mild concessions toward collectivism to appease the critics who lean toward communism in their political philosophies. In Harry Potter, Harry sacrifices himself to save his friends which is altruism in a mild degree and rallies the efforts of Hogwarts to fight to the death against Lord Voldemort. It is in endings like this that Harry Potter wins critical praise from a progressive media, even if it is not intellectually completely honest. Yet in the end, the Potter series must stick to the rules of nature and human understanding. Harry is the ultimate victor that all of Hogwarts relies upon. That is why Harry Potter is so successful because it follows the basic rules of all human knowledge, that it is the few who hold up the many. This is why superhero movies are dominating the box-office. In the film industry, directors are making frequent concessions to collectivists to appease film critics, even when they shouldn’t. The intellectual honesty is to show the hero for being strong and as flawless as possible, because that is what is expected in a hero. Atlas Shrugged as a book and a film does not make ANY concessions, and that is why it is so trusted, and considered intellectually honest. It is concerned with determining who holds up the world, the economy and entire nations. Deep down inside everyone understands this, but hate the message because they are in denial. They wish to maintain the illusion of their “help” in a social context. In Atlas Shrugged, the answer to “Who is John Galt” are those who pick up the world in either the microcosm or the macrocosm and carry it on their backs without complaint, without praise, and without fear. They do it because it’s in their nature to be the real heroes of existence from which all else flows. And it is in these ideas that American society either thrives or fails.

The kind of America that could be is what is celebrated at Universal Studios Islands of Adventure, and for my friend, the must see exhibits are The Incredible Hulk, The Adventures of Spiderman, The Jurassic Park River Adventure, The Dragon Challenge, and of course the new Harry Potter ride. As for the shows, The Eighth Voyage of Sinbad is well worth it. It’s a GREAT stunt show! And the best place to eat is—–the Mythos Restaurant. This place is a must, but make sure to eat there in the afternoon between dinner rushes. And the close second, that your kids will love is The Three Broomsticks, which is a Harry Potter themed tavern. What makes all this possible is the ideas of which John Galt represents. Without the John Galt principle nothing at Universal Studios happens as there isn’t enough magic in any Harry Potter spell to turn collectivism into a successful enterprise. The new Atlas Shrugged Part II preview is intellectually honest and hints at a film that will be fantastic, and politically important. Ultimately, John Galt is the most powerful superhero and he doesn’t have to sling from a web or fly from a broomstick. All he has to do is refuse to help those who refuse to help themselves surrendering their pride to legalized theft in the form of excessive taxation. At Universal Studio’s Islands of Adventure the symbol is a planet that rotates at the entrance. Deep inside the subconscious of every human being upon seeing that symbol understand what it means. The symbol itself is a bit of a concession, since the only thing missing is a statue of John Galt holding it up.

Moving “Forward” at Lakota, and Moving “Forward” with Obama: Communist propaganda from Chicago

You might have noticed dear reader that the Obama campaign slogan of “FORWARD” is precisely the same campaign slogans used in many public school tax campaigns, most notably in the last Lakota Levy attempts of 2011. The word FORWARD, for those who study marketing and the meanings of non-verbal communication are designed to click in the human subconscious predictable behavior patterns that are induced upon civilization from our collective education in public school.

What many do not know is that through labor unions communist propaganda has been alive in The United States since the mid 1800’s. In the Mary Day Editorial from the “Alarm,” 1886 it states, “Bravely forward! Workmen, let your watchword be: no compromise! The first of May, whose historical significance will be understood and appreciated only in later years, is here.” This was communist propaganda well before the Russian revolution as Karl Marx’s Communist Manifesto swept across Europe. In the United States it came behind the curtain of capitalism through the labor movement, and in Chicago it was Frank Marshall Davis who started a communist newspaper called The Chicago Star in the 1940’s advancing the communist agenda in America. Davis was the personal mentor of Barack Obama and was so close to the modern day president that many speculate that Davis is actually Obama’s real father. Frank Marshall Davis was a die hard communist that openly embraced hard core Soviet propaganda during the height of the Cold War. In 1948 David Canter purchased The Chicago Star from Davis. Canter was the mentor to the modern day David Axelrod who is one of the closest Obama advisors to this very day. Axelrod is the man responsible for many of the modern progressive slogans that are tested to invoke controlled responses among voters, and “FORWARD” is one of the most powerful communist key words used in political campaigns.

The Chicago Star used often the word “FORWARD” in its communist articles which labor unions read and copied for their own terrorism activity openly undermining capitalism. The idea of moving “forward” has become over the years to be the term most favorable to the progressive political philosophy which subtly indicates that the silly old concepts that built our county should be advanced forward away from the “old” in favor of the “new.”

Since labor unions were reading publications like The Chicago Star they used the word “forward” to push contract negotiations beyond rational analysis coupled with the threats of labor strikes to win their extortion racket against employers. It was the communist Frank Marshall Davis who resurrected the communist propaganda from pre Soviet Union days to invoke the same type of revolution in The United States as occurred in Russia in 1919. Teachers unions in particular would adapt these tactics to advance public education as the primary teaching method in America so that once the government was primarily influenced by communist thinking, the next generation of children would be taught communist propaganda by a dedicated government endorsed workforce, the public school teacher.

In 1979 The Department of Education was created to solidify this long term plan of the gradual socialization of education, and bringing all the bright eyed teachers under the umbrella of communist thought by disguising it as progressive liberalism. Many of the radical union leaders were openly Marxist thinkers utilizing communist propaganda that was coming out of Cuba, and from the papers of Frank Marshall Davis. Common among these communists are ideas that businesses are bad, taxes should increase progressively, and property is community owned. Once the national teachers unions had control of the newly created Department of Education, they could set the communist agenda and fulfill all the points created in the book The Naked Communist (CLICK HERE TO SEE MUCH MORE). To this day, a majority of the American population has been exposed to communism through their public school to such an extent that communism controls the message completely from the media of people’s televisions to the individual doorways of virtually every home in every school district in the entire country.

When my school district of Lakota paid over $12,000 on a consulting firm to tell them how to pass a school levy in spite of the resistance the group I was working with placed in front of them, the progressive think tanks they hired gave them the campaign slogan “Move Forward” which was stupid. The Lakota Pro Tax people because of their decision would have to replace all their previous signs from their other tax increase attempts, which seemed like a waste of money. But the progressive groups that have studied the work of David Axelrod, and the writing of Saul Alisnsky to run political campaigns in a local school district came up with the term “Move Forward.”

Anytime the word “FORWARD” is used that’s the key declaration indicating your local school is connected to large progressive politics that has its roots in open communist propaganda. When you hear the word “FORWARD” in national campaign, like President Obama, it is used to tap into the communism that has been taught to us in public school.

For proof, Obama and the many public schools that he regards in such high esteem will not deny communism. They will say that accusations like the ones I have made are ridiculous, but they cannot defend their position, since it is communism that they have always advocated. When my home school district of Lakota hired a new superintendent, and that employee advocated her education agenda would be a “global” one, she was uttering her intentions to spread communism. She wouldn’t call her teaching communism, she would most likely consider it progressive, and politically, she may even think she’s a Republican, but her belief system in public education has been shaped by the system of communism which thrives in virtually every labor union in America. Labor unions were not built on patriotism in America, but on the utterances of communism such as the statement from 1886 mentioned above.

The giveaway is in the use of communist key words such as “Forward,” in any campaign literature. Behind every campaign specialists are very aware of every word used to frame their position. With Mitt Romney the slogan is “Believe in America” because they must tap into the revelations that our current president is a passive member of Communist Party USA inspired by his hero Frank Marshall Davis. Romney’s campaign is tapping into the subtle knowledge that “Moving Forward” takes America toward socialist Europe. It would be unlikely that any candidate that is not an extreme progressive with communist sympathies would use the word “Forward” in their campaign. Anytime it is seen, it should be understood that the term “FORWARD” is intended to unmake America into something else. That’s the intention, and the seeds for that transformation were given to every member of society that attended public education. That grim knowledge is a difficult reality to come to terms with, but the facts and history are easy to see for those who do not find it inconvenient to see the world with open eyes.

For more on the term “Forward” check out this Washington Post article:

The Banality of Evil: Why Joe Paterno is just as terrible as Barack Obama and Adolph Eichmann

Hannah Arndt upon witnessing the trial of Adolph Eichmann, one of the Holocaust organizers against the Jewish people, was shocked that Eichmann did not appear in public to be a vile monster oozing desire for death and mayhem. Instead, he maintained an apparent, “everydayness” that shocked her, leaving her to conclude that evil does not come from malevolence or a delight in doing wrong. Instead she suggested the reasons people act in such a way is that they fall victim to failures in thinking and judgments. In Eichmann’s situation he allowed himself to believe that by killing Jews, he was doing good-by the Nazi Party. Killing a millions of Jews made tens of millions of Germans happy, so he rationalized his sinister actions as party loyalty. As ridiculous as that sounds such evil is not regulated to an event long ago, in a far away land. Former FBI Director Louis Freeh, recently released a report that shows Penn State coaching legend Joe Paterno and the rest of university leadership knew that former defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky was anally raping young boys and they conspired to cover it up from the public to protect the university.

The crimes against children advocated by a major college university is a very serious crime. Yet, Penn State is not alone. At this very moment, many such crimes are being committed right now, and many people know about it, and like Joe Paterno, they will put the good of the institutions they serve ahead of their individual sense of right and wrong. This essentially is no different from what Adolph Eichmann was doing as a founder of the Holocaust death camps. When Joe Paterno spoke, people listened, and to this very day hundreds of thousands of people are shattered to learn that a person they looked up to let them down, and they are seeking to rationalize Paterno’s evil with the same observations that Hannah Arndt observed.

The evil at Penn State began with a sick lust for pedophilia by the defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky. The Freeh report shows that the entire university knew about the crimes, yet their approach was to cover it up and quietly remove Sandusky from the public eye allowing him to retire hoping the scandal would disappear. The leadership at Penn State was afraid of the loss of enrollment into their school if such a public relations nightmare escaped their control. It is well-known that colleges depend on college sports to justify their extraordinary social costs in tax money consumed and actual services offered to society. Through sports, colleges unify their students, the parents and the communities who pay the taxes into a sense of collectivism that rationalizes evil in favor of the institutional success.

Unforgivable evils are committed when institutions and their sanctity surpass the value of an individual. Paterno no matter what he felt about the anal rapes of young boys in the showers just outside of his office placed the value of Penn State above the value of the boys being raped. Every member of Penn State leadership contributed to the evil by seeking ways to cover up Sandusky’s acts instead of helping the young boys, because to them, they were following the concept of Marxism, the needs of the many out-weigh the needs of the few. It was Spock who said that in the Star Trek film The Wrath of Khan, which is the contemporary example of Jeremy Bentham’s 1789 book The Principles of Morals and Legislation where he states all social and political decisions should be made with the aim of achieving the greatest happiness for the greatest number of people. Bentham’s premise is collectivism, Spock’s premise is collectivism, and Paterno’s premise is collectivism. All believe that the evils committed against individuals do not outweigh the survival of the collective institution.

In the Penn State case officials had been taught all their lives to regard such examples of collectivism as an honorable thing and are dumbfounded as to how to respond Sandusky’s antics. Do they suspend Penn State from the juggernaut Big Ten football participation? If they do that what will happen to all the revenue attached to Penn State Football, or even the Big Ten? Even officials in the NCAA are willing to look the other way to save their institutional commitment to Big Ten Football. They will do something now that the FBI forced their hand, but prior to all this, they looked the other way. Everyone knew about Jerry Sandusky’s obsession with little boys, that’s why nobody offered him a football job after he retired. ESPN is in the same boat. They make their livings talking about the great distraction of sports, and such scandals might turn people away from sports, which could seriously harm revenue.

Right now It’s well known that President Obama is undoing America. Since he took office American wealth has declined by 40%! Obama because of a commitment to his biological father’s beliefs in anti colonialism is committed to the big idea of leveling America from a wealth standpoint so that Brazil, Venezuela and other small countries can thrive. Being a globalist, Obama trusts the institution of government as the means to equalize the world. He does not consider the impact on individual American lives, or even the life of America as a country. He is a global citizen, who is concerned about the greatest happiness for the greatest number of people.

Coming back around to why Obama is evil for destroying America, or Paterno is evil for hiding crimes to preserve the university, or Eichmann was evil for killing Jews, they all share in common a commitment to collectivism where their evil is justified by their dedication to making the greatest number of people happy. For Paterno, what made people the most happy, a football win on a cool Saturday afternoon against a Big Ten rival or seeing one of their beloved icons going to jail for raping little boys. The answer is in his actions, and because he tried to make people happy, they loved him for it—even to the extent of being in denial that one of their personal heroes committed evil.

Evil is seldom ever as pronounced as the villains we see in our movies and read in our books. It would be nice if they wore scary masks and spoke with sinister tongues so we could know that they are evil people. Hannah Arndt believed that she would see in Eichmann a monster during his trial, but instead she saw another human being eerily similar to herself, which was a frightening prospect. It’s frightening because we all want to know we’d be able to identify evil if it confronts us, and when people we think are good turn out to do evil, vile things, it leaves an unsettling feeling that disrupts our happiness greatly.

The unlikely indicator of evil is not to look for it in menacing social features, but in the actions of the people being observed. The chances are very great that if a person tends to serve institutions before their own interests, they have a tendency toward evil. If a person rationalizes the sins of singular acts by placing focus on a collective whole, then evil is the motivator. Evil lives and breathes in collectivism. Jerry Sandusky had a charity not for the sake of helping young men, but as a way to bring young men to his pedophilic desires. And Joe Paterno knew about Sandusky’s exploits and chose the happiness of the greatest number instead of rights of individuals. That’s why Joe Paterno is just as evil as Adolph Eichmann, or Barack Obama—because all these evil people seek personal redemption through collective salvation—which is the pathway to hell, paved with good intentions.
