Second Call Defense May Be the Most Important Thing You Do in 2024: Catherine Herridge thinks there will be a “Black Swan” event, and I think she’s right

Catherine Herridge is one of the only reporters I still respect from the mainstream news, and there is a lot of talk about a recent statement she made about the upcoming year of 2024 when she indicated that she thought there would be a Black Swan event at some point. I agree with her; there may be several. There are a lot of bad guys in the world that have been dramatically empowered by bad laws, weak politics, globalism, terrorism, and eroded values, and the power and money that have come from these activities are not going to be given up easily. I expect a lot of attempts to unleash violence into our society before power is given back or taken back by force. Whatever the case, the bad guys will not just ride off nicely into the night. That’s why they are bad guys; they do bad things and harm innocent people. So I think 2024 will be unusually difficult, much worse than 2020 when color revolutions were unleashed in the streets with a few phone calls from the rich and famous. Sheer whores who will do anything for a buck took over entire cities in 2020 and nearly burned Washington DC to the ground. The media and political figures responsible for the terrible things that happened in 2020 want you to think about the time that people pushed back on January 6th, hoping to erase from your mind everything you had seen and experienced and that some fantasy of normalcy could come from the Biden administration in those early days of 2021. But no, people didn’t forget, and they are voting for Trump anyway; populist movements everywhere are looking for revenge, using the law first to implement it. But that leaves the bad guys nowhere to go, and you can bet they will try every desperate thing to outrun justice.

One thing that has been on my mind is that I had to scold a few of our local news people from the network news who were trying to stoke riots from downtown Cincinnati to come up into West Chester to harass people outside the I-275 loop. A few did come, but it didn’t go very far. My response was similar to what I’m about to say, and in some cases, I walked people I know through the process of buying guns to defend their homes. These were people who don’t usually think this way but were not about to let a bunch of thugs ransack their homes, rape their women, and make a general mess of things in their community. But you can bet that George Soros and all his friends intended for all that to happen even more. What happened recently in Israel could quickly occur anywhere in the United States; the intention of the bad guys is undoubtedly there, and if they aren’t going to respect our laws and enforcement community, then what choice does anybody have? So I helped a lot of people get their hands on guns “just in case,” and the critical riots from Fox 19 News and Channel 5 fizzled out and moved back down the highway to hang out in Over-The-Rhine. Thankfully, it got close to being messy and never quite evolved into a crisis. But people learned from those events that it was possible and needed to be prepared. That’s why I’m recommending to everyone this time membership to Second Call Defense, which is insurance for gun owners who may need to make that second call after a defensive shooting to keep a very corrupt judicial system from destroying your life in the aftermath, which is one of their strategies against the Second Amendment.

We’ve seen how lawfare has been used against Trump, and before all these recent ostentatious displays of law abuse, it has occurred in many ways in our own hometown. Right now, I can think of how the law has been weaponized against Darbi Boddy, who has a bogus hearing on December 29th. She’s the school board member from Lakota who has so many radical elements trying to destroy her life just because she exists, and they want her in jail. And the local Republican Party has been stoking the fires to make it happen—hazardous stuff. I could say the same of what happened to Roger Reynolds, the former Butler County auditor. I just received a very nice Christmas note from Judge Elderstein, a story where the Butler County judges go after their own in really detrimental ways, and this story involves the prosecutor of Butler County, Michael Gmoser, and many other influential people in Ohio who have been engaged in lawfare against political rivals. These law enforcement types cannot be trusted and they are not the people you want to be dealing with after a defensive shooting. Ohio is a lot better on gun laws, particularly Stand Your Ground and Constitutional Carry as a result of our current government doing really good things to make them happen. I’m a permit holder and probably always will be. And yes, because of my lifestyle, it comes up more than you’d like. I had an incident just a few days ago where everyone made it to Christmas Dinner. But gun altercations are more of a reality in a politically charged society as we have now, where radical elements are empowered to bring harm to innocent people, and those innocent people have no choice but to defend themselves. We want to trust the law to do their jobs, but there are many reasons to understand that trust isn’t on the table.

You will get benefits if you use my name to join Second Call Defense.  I know the people involved and I like them a lot.  I usually don’t bring up these kinds of memberships, but I would say, especially this coming year of 2024, to protect yourself with Second Call Defense or an insurance program like it.  I’m not here to sell you insurance.  I have been associated with Second Call Defense for a long time, around ten years now.  Over that span, there have been six times when I almost had to make that second call, counting the recent incident from the other day.  And believe me, before you pull the trigger on an attacker, it does run through your mind.  Because once you do pull that trigger and someone dies as a result, the political hellhounds who want to attack the Second Amendment will be all over you, trying to use that tragedy to destroy your life in every way they can.  With Second Call Defense, you let their lawyers handle your case as soon as the police arrive. They’ll help you get your gun back, and they help with bond money and the kind of procedures that a person without representation would find to be a nightmare.  You don’t want to become a January 6th prisoner or go through what Darbi Boddy is going through now because the law has targeted you for their acquisition of power.  A self-defense shooting is bad enough without having the legal system destroy your entire life for its display of power and political objectives.  So, as some friendly advice, I would recommend everyone who carries a firearm, even in a Constitutional Carry way, to join Second Call Defense, even if just for 2024.  I hope it’s not the case, but things will likely get very rough in 2024, and you want to be prepared on all fronts.  Putting up with detrimental behavior is not an option.  But it would be best to protect yourself with more than a gun.  Insurance certainly helps, and it will rest your mind in those times when you do have to use a weapon and pull the trigger against someone attacking you.  I can’t recommend Second Call Defense more; it may be the most important thing you can do for yourself in 2024.  It’s rough out there; access to good legal representation certainly needs to be part of any strategy that deals with the malicious intent of a society gone mad.

How Second Call Defense Works: Defending yourself from left-leaning scum bags and why the world should follow American examples

If you’ve been paying attention to the crises in Venezuela, and most of the South American countries, you would have noticed that they are experiencing a complete breakdown in civility and decent respect for other members of the human race.  What all of Venezuela is experiencing presently in 2016 and beyond is similar to what American inner cities are experiencing, a degradation of the human population into a failure in all aspects and the cause is the mismanagement of whatever governments imposed socialism upon those sovereign territories.  When morality is gone from a society looters and thugs are born and they will think nothing of stealing from others to satisfy their immediate animal desires for survival.  This is especially a risky condition in any society that has many active drug abusers who will do anything to achieve their next “high” to relive them from the pressures of reality—which they obviously can’t handle.  These mismanaged and treacherous conditions can then push these scum bags, losers, and openly diabolical human wastes into well managed areas complete with good families and hard-working Americans.  It is then that the only defense good people have against bad people is a gun, and that is why every competent American should learn to use a firearm and carry it.  At a minimum gun owners should be in every home and they should be prepared to defend their “castle” from any incursion by one of those failures of left-leaning political philosophy.  Hopefully it never happens, but if a gun owner has to shoot a desperate attacker who would rather steal and harass a good person with a firearm, then Second Call Defense is the best opportunity to quell the aftermath.  The founder of Second Call Defense, Sean Maloney explains how the legal process works during such a shooting and how Second Call Defense can protect you after you’ve had to shoot an assailant in self-defense.

I have loved Second Call Defense long before I became a recruiter.  It’s a great service and is something I think everyone should have.  At my home, I have enough firearm ability to stop an army of such insurgents, so I sleep well at night.  But that armed contest is just one step in the process.  It’s not enough to just stop bad guys who intend harm with a gun.  There is a legal process ran often by the same left-leaning idiots who caused all the trouble in the first place—who have mismanaged the legal system to such a degree that you could go broke defending yourself from their stupidity.  The political left has created the criminal class and they essentially run the legal system—so the gun is really your only defense against both, and you need something like Second Call Defense to defend yourself from the legal assaults which follow defenses involving firearms.

It is a right and a privilege to own a firearm.   Our American society is great because of the gun and I would suggest that every country on earth adopt the same kinds of laws favoring gun ownership that we have in America.  All over the world, left leaning philosophies create scum bags, losers, malcontents, welfare recipients, Democrats, socialists, peace sign wearing hippies, pot smokers, Grateful Dead concert goers, Jimmy Buffett fans, drug dealers, slum dwellers, and second-hander insurgents.  For those lost souls, they have no other intellectual recourse for their failures in life but to steal and harass good people, and the only thing really that keeps them at bay is firearm ownership—which is precisely why the left wants to ban them all the time.  Unfortunately around the world, many good people have been crushed because they haven’t had the opportunity to own firearms to defend themselves and their economies show the result.  Hopefully in the United States we can defend our own laws from the political left and show the world why they should follow our lead—and Second Call Defense is a huge part of that strategy.  So I’d advise you to sign up.  Use my name and you’ll get a free first month.  It is the best thing you can do aside from buying and owning a firearm.  I’d advise you to do it today.  You can join by clicking the link below.

The NRA Endorses Donald Trump for President: It’s about more than just sending Hillary Clinton to prison

Things are happening even faster than I thought they would a few weeks ago.  In case you missed it, the NRA endorsed Donald Trump right before the presidential candidate spoke at the meetings in Louisville, Kentucky.  The speech was very good not only by Trump but by Wayne LaPierre and Chris Cox as well.  I would encourage you to watch the whole thing and to share it.  The trio of leading speakers did a very fine job of articulating the situation we are facing and for a change, there was justified ferociousness to their urgency.  The progressive political left has shown their cards clearly and it’s time to answer them.

For me the “Hillary for Prison” tag line is more than just politics.  She represents a vile future of open sex, drug worship, corruption, stupidity, and betrayal for our nation’s future.  What she calls compassion and “civil rights” are in fact chains of further enslavement—not literally, but mentally.  Her brand of politics furthers the destruction of the human race from the level of the soul, and it’s about time for us to stand up for ourselves.  One of the best ways that you can do that dear reader is to join the NRA, by clicking the link below.  Additionally, join Second Call Defense by using my name to get a first free month.  Do your part in protecting freedom, join the NRA, carry a gun, and be one of the good guys sending bullets in the opposite direction when a diabolical menace presents their ideological corruption through terrorism.

The Benefits of Second Call Defense: Information and Christmas wishes from the sheepdogs of the shooting industry

People seem surprised when they find out what a nice service Second Call Defense is, and the kind of reassurance that it offers to shooters as they conceal carry.  Several people of late have signed up for the service upon my recommendation and they are enjoying the benefits.  Second Call Defense is a very respectable organization affiliated with the NRA Business Alliance and they do the little details very well.  Sometimes I think readers think I’m just a blogger who puts out material in a scandalous fashion at times locked in my basement complaining daily about the state of the world.  Rather, this blog site is only about 1% of my life and in the rest of it, I am a very productive person, both in my relationships with other people, and in business efforts.  So when you use my name to sign up for Second Call Defense, good things do happen to you.  Yesterday on a website I sometimes visit to talk to like-minded people came a testimonial that reminded me how new customers of Second Call Defense are learning for the first time how using my name can provide something to them that they didn’t think was possible in a good way:.

2016 will be an exciting time for Second Call Defense and its members.  Below is some information describing pertinent news updates, and providing information necessary for concealed carry holders.  Second Call Defense is a very informative group and a wonderful ally to have around.  My membership card is one of the most valuable things I carry in my wallet. I never leave home without it.  It has become something I consider more important than a driver’s license.   One thing that is important to know listed in the following information is how to take your gun with you while flying.  Be sure to follow the instructions so that you can do so without causing a lot of debate at the airport.

Exciting Changes Coming

Second Call Defense will be unveiling a new website in less than two weeks, right before the new year. The new site will be more informative for members and non members alike, and it will be designed to work well on mobile devices and be much easier to read.

In addition, they’ll be simplifying the membership options and adding great new benefits. If you’re a current member, nothing will change. Your membership dues will stay the same. And you’ll even pick up some new benefits.

Plus, we’ll have a member-only area where members will have access to exclusive content.

Make sure to visit our website the last week of December to see the upgrades.

TSA rules for flying with guns and ammo

Everyone knows how much trouble you can get into if you walk into an airport or try to board a plane with a firearm. But did you know that many gun owners routinely take their guns and ammo with them when they travel by air?

The trick is simply to follow the rules outlined by the Transportation Security Administration:

You may transport unloaded firearms in a locked hard-sided container as checked baggage only. Declare the firearm to the airline when checking your bag at the ticket counter. The container must completely secure the firearm from being accessed. Locked cases that can be easily opened will not be accepted. Be aware that cases that are supplied when purchasing a firearm may not be appropriate for securing the firearm when flying.

Firearms

  • Comply with regulations on carrying firearms where you are traveling from and to, as laws vary by local, state and international governments.
  • Declare all firearms, ammunition and parts to the airline during the check-in process. Ask about limitations or fees that may apply.
  • Firearms must be unloaded and locked in a hard-sided container and transported as checked baggage only. Firearm parts, including firearms frames and receivers, must also be placed in checked baggage and are prohibited in carry-on baggage.
  • Replica firearms may be transported in checked baggage only.
  • Rifle scopes are permitted in carry-on and checked bags.
  • All firearms, ammunition and firearm parts, including firearm frames, receivers, clips and magazines are prohibited in carry-on baggage.

United States Code, Title 18, Part 1, Chapter 44, firearm definitions includes: any weapon (including a starter gun) which will, or is designed to, or may readily be converted to expel a projectile by the action of an explosive; the frame or receiver of any such weapon; any firearm muffler or firearm silencer; and any destructive device. As defined by 49 CFR 1540.5 a loaded firearm has a live round of ammunition, or any component thereof, in the chamber or cylinder or in a magazine inserted in the firearm.

Ammunition

Firearm magazines and ammunition clips, whether loaded or empty, must be securely boxed or included within a hard-sided case containing an unloaded firearm.
Small arms ammunition, including ammunition not exceeding .75 caliber for rifle or pistol and shotgun shells of any gauge, may be carried in the same hard-sided case as the firearm, as described in the packing guidelines above.

Newsflash for unarmed Americans: We gun owners don’t carry for you

by Jeff Knox

This is an editorial dealing with the difficult issue of whether gun owners should intervene to stop a crime that does not directly involve personal self defense. While Second Call Defense believes this can only be decided on a case-by-case basis, we also think the point of view expressed in this article makes sense for most people with average firearm and self defense skills and training. We touched on this issue in a previous post titled Should you use your gun to stop a crime?

Like many Americans, I frequently carry a gun. I’ve done so for over 30 years without ever laying hand to it in need. Professor John Lott of the Crime Prevention Research Center reports that some 12.8 million people, over 5.2 percent of the adult U.S. population, are licensed to carry a concealed handgun. In addition to concealed carry license holders in all 50 states, seven states require no permit at all for concealed carry, and 40 states have few restrictions on carrying as long as the gun is visible.

On top of that, as I have reported recently, there appears to be a growing trend among people who routinely carry a firearm to also routinely ignore signs that tell them they can’t. It is a growing form of civil disobedience that puts no one at increased risk of death or injury. As the number of concealed carriers grows, violent crime continues to fall. This doesn’t prove that more guns equals less crime, but it irrefutably proves that more guns do not equate to more crime.

Unless you live in one of the extremely restrictive states like New York, New Jersey, or Massachusetts, any time you are on the street or anywhere that does not have controlled access, with metal detectors and bag searches, etc., there is a fairly high probability that someone nearby is legally carrying a gun. But they are not carrying that gun to protect you.

A popular essay from Lt. Col. Dave Grossman divided humans into three categories: “Sheep,” “Wolves,” and “Sheepdogs.” I would suggest that Lt. Col. Grossman left out an important fourth category: “Porcupines.”

My wife is neither “sheep” nor “sheepdog,” and she certainly is no “wolf.” She is a “porcupine,” harmless and docile if left alone, but ferocious and dangerous if threatened – even more so if her progeny are threatened. She would choose flight over fight every time, if flight is a viable option. But if flight is not an option, she has the tools, training and mindset to win the fight.

Our nation’s convoluted laws on self-defense and liability also force all but the most dedicated “sheepdogs” into the role of “porcupine” as well, making “porcupines” the most prevalent variety of armed citizen. We won’t passively stand by while the wolves have their way with us or our families, but neither can we take responsibility for protecting the “sheep” from the “wolves.”

Certainly, most people who carry would take action to help someone in need if there was an opportunity to do so and there was no obvious alternative – and while many of us would probably prefer to characterize ourselves as “sheepdogs” rather than “porcupines,” the reality is that protecting you, your spouse, and your children is your responsibility, not ours. You should also be aware that protection of you and your family is not the responsibility of the police, either. The courts have conclusively ruled that the police have a duty to protect only the public at large, not individuals.

Those of us who have a natural inclination toward being “sheepdogs” have some pretty significant disincentives to acting on those inclinations. Not only is it physically dangerous to intervene in a violent situation, it is a legal minefield that in most cases must be navigated in a matter of seconds. While laws and jurisprudence protect police from prosecution and civil liability, and while some protections exist for individuals acting in defense of themselves and their families, there are few shields for someone acting on behalf of a stranger. Armed citizens who intervene in situations where they or their families are not in imminent danger place themselves at significant risk of prosecution and civil penalties.

We also tend to be keenly aware of the fact that any error involving a firearm can be devastating and permanent. Violent encounters usually happen quickly, and they can be very confusing. It’s not always clear who is the “good guy” and who is the “bad guy.” Anyone who has ever been through a quality personal defense course has been cautioned to avoid deploying a firearm or engaging an aggressor unless there is no other alternative.

In any shooting situation, there are two key problems to deal with. Problem One is survival. Problem Two is dealing with the legal and emotional fallout from solving Problem One. Ending a life can be emotionally devastating, and the legal consequences can destroy bank accounts and quality of life as surely as being gravely wounded.

For most of us, there are no legal repercussions for running away. In the real world, this means flight is better than fight. Our training, and often the law, dictates that if we’re enjoying a movie when a homicidal lunatic starts shooting people on the other side of the theater, our first responsibility is to get out and away, especially if our family is with us. If we’re in a college class and we hear gunfire from the next building or a classroom down the hall, we, just like our unarmed classmates or students, should evacuate or “shelter in place,” not head toward the gunfire.

This approach is galling to many gun owners, especially those of us with a natural inclination toward being “sheepdogs.” We would rather fight than run. We would rather put ourselves at risk than allow evil to go unchecked. But regardless of the level of training and skill a person has, the multiple layers of risk that are inherent in any shooting situation stack the deck against playing the hero unless there is no other alternative.

Both sides of the debate over bearing arms have a tendency to relegate armed citizens to the role of “sheepdog,” but that is a role the law and prudence won’t let us accept, though some of us will try despite the obstacles. For the most part, we are “porcupines.” We are armed for defense of ourselves and our families, not for you and yours. In a worst-case scenario, one of us might be present and save your life in defending our own, but don’t count on it. We don’t carry for you.

The Brilliance of Donald Trump: Why being a little wild is a good thing

Amazingly, Donald Trump’s recent position of monitoring and restricting the movement of Muslim’s in and out of American borders is creating quite a stir—politically.  While most in the Beltway believe Trump is a madman, I would say that Trump is behaving like the brilliant tactician that he is.  No wonder the United States is losing around the world, because the people in mainstream politics are clueless about negotiation and strategy.  Trump’s comments are brilliant for several reasons.  First he’s playing the typical high low game needed in any negotiation.  He knows by taking an extreme position, he’ll force elected officials to at least consider some measures of security in relation to the Muslim religion.  The terrorist element is obviously hiding within that religion behind peaceful people, but there is no way to root the bad guys out if you don’t force the Islamic community to separate themselves from the radicals.  In the short run, radicals are forced into hiding until things calm down which obviously makes the world safer through the Christmas Holiday.  Additionally, all the idiots who are coming out against Trump, which is everyone pretty much in the Beltway—are demonstrating why they are unqualified to be president as Americans want somebody to make decisive decisions even if they are standing alone.  To understand the extent of the issue, watch this ABC Report on Trump with clips from a recent Barbra Walters interview.

Trump knows exactly what he’s doing.  Six months from now he’ll be able to say that he was the first Republican to identify the problem, which will prove to be quite extensive in its sleeper cell network, and he will show Republican delegates that he is willing to do anything and everything to beat Hillary Clinton ahead of the convention.  That is after all what they all share in common as a concern, beating Hillary Clinton in a head to head election.  No other Republican candidate has a chance because it will take extreme positions to outscore her in a media field that is clearly in her corner.  You can’t play nice with her and win.  You have to hit her lower than she is willing to go, which is lower than most anybody can fathom.

Trump has many business interests around the world, particularly in the UAE, so he’s showing Republican voters that he is willing to go against his own interests to do what he thinks is right—which dispels one of the concerns Republicans have with Trump.  The New York billionaire has had a friendly relationship with the Clintons in the past, so Trump has to prove that he will hit Hillary hard and not go soft as a candidate.  So this Muslim debate does several things that are needed for Trump and the nation and he has orchestrated it all very brilliantly.  It puts the issues of Muslim terrorist cells hiding behind the religion on the front burner for discussion which is needed.  Complacency will only lead to many more domestic attacks—particularly through the Christmas Season.  Trump has also thrown cold water on the millions of dollars of attack ads that Jeb Bush and John Kasich have taken out against him ahead of the primaries.  The money of those other Republican presidential candidates and their donors has been completely wasted, so of course they are mad at Trump.  Then of course there is the Obama administration that is quietly terrified of a Trump nominee, as there will be unfettered criticism and bombastic dissemination of Obama and his former employee Hillary Clinton in his last year as president, establishing his legacy forever as a complete failure. Of course they think Trump is unqualified to be president, because they have set the bar so low that Trump would be unable to live under that bar.  Trump is promising to make fools of all of them and that’s the real fear of the comments about Muslims.   They don’t care about those people of religion; they care about being exposed as political losers.

The way that ABC presented that report was interesting, it was essentially no different from school kids debating who the best band is, or what is fashionable or not fashionable.  If a kid in school distinguishes themselves as a stand-out from the crowd, they get picked on endlessly until they comply with the recommendations of mass association.  Peer pressure is what public schools are all about—fitting into a crowd and merging with the collective opinion on a matter.  But real leaders are those who stand against the tide, who are the first to see a problem and offer a solution—even if nobody else understands it.  I was always one of those kids; I never fit neatly into place and constantly pushed back against the masses.  I never did what was expected of me, and now many years later, I have been proven correct time and time again.  Eventually people in the masses follow a good leader—they do come around to the correct way of thinking by necessity of their own survival.

Trump more than anything has shown himself to be a leader.  As the world turns against him he has managed to put himself on the front page of every newspaper in the world with hundreds of millions of dollars of free advertising showing himself to be willing to be a decisive leader—which is the most sought after trait that voters are looking for in the 2016 election.  There is no issue more important than that one to normal people outside of the Beltway.  The Trump comments were controversial, but there is no downside.  What he has done is made an investment that will pay off greatly by the time summer comes around in the northern hemisphere, and there will be no stopping him.

To prove themselves competent, authorities will have to bust terrorist cells during the Holiday season to prove they are doing their jobs—and they’ll do it to prove to Trump that all Muslims are not terrorists.  Because of their anger at Trump they will be forced to actually do their jobs for a change—something they wouldn’t have been motivated to do before Trump’s comments.  Likely we will all be a lot safer for the short run as Muslims themselves seek to push their radicals out of the darkness into the light of day to avoid association which will only help our Homeland Security investigations. And the Obama administration for helping these terrorists gain strength will be forced to pick sides—which they obviously don’t want to do.

All this will play in favor of Trump going into the fall of 2016 where he’ll be poised to take credit for it all—because it was his actions that provoked all the behavior change which left unchecked would have led to many more San Bernardino shootings.  Of course the political establishment doesn’t understand all these techniques of strategy, which is why they are the ones not qualified to be president.  All this that Trump is doing is outlined in his very good book on business, The Art of the Deal.  There is no secret—he spells it out for all to see.  Anybody with half a brain would know what he’s doing—and fortunately, many Americans do have a brain when they are given the right things to think about.

This is the only way to break loose the issues that are destroying our nation—the bad guys have to be rooted out and exposed in this fashion.  I know a thing or two about these strategies and have used them myself many times.  They work in both small and large situations.  But in Trump’s case, they will strike fear into his enemies when he takes the desk of the Oval Office.  He will be in a wonderful negotiation position by then, because it does pay to be a little wild.  Often it pays very well.  But to sell that wildness you have to be willing to carry out an act when called upon.  And if you have to pick something to display it, you do it with the most strategic subject possible so that if you do have to pull the trigger you accomplish another objective with the wildness.  That’s why Trump is the best.  And that’s why he SHOULD certainly be president.  You don’t win by playing patty cake.  You win with being a little crazy when it counts most.  Christmas of 2015 after a terrorist attack that the current president is avoiding to name is a good place to start.  New York will be safer because of Trump’s wildness, and so will everyone else.

Ruger’s Plan to Help the NRA: Using Second Call Defense to help stop Jihad at American borders

Fortunately, most Americans understand the situation, on Black Friday 2015 a record was shattered as there were 185,000 background checks from people buying firearms. That averages out to roughly 2 checks every second. And those Americans weren’t buying guns to hunt deer. Hopefully, many of those guns were from Ruger who is donating $2 for every Ruger sold between 2015 and 2016 intending to raise $4 million dollars for the NRA. I did my part and bought a new Ruger, and I’m very proud of it. In spite of the government insisting every couple of minutes that more gun control is needed to slow down the violent mass shootings erupting all over the country, the only real solution to the mismanagement of the social affairs that have contributed to the violence is more guns carried by responsible people, not less.

After the San Bernardino shooting on December 2nd 2015 Obama went straight to the airwaves to proclaim the need for more gun control and made a point to declare that other countries don’t have the problem of gun violence that America has. He failed to say why. Most of the rest of the world has terrible poverty and severe gun control restrictions and their people are mass migrating from those places trying to get into the United States. They aren’t immigrating to America because they like their homes. All is not well in the world, so Obama’s comparison is out-of-touch and extremely naive. He could only make such a global comparison by ignoring many facts, dangerously to his own detriment in judgment—which is obviously extremely flawed. America is a superior place to live, and guns help make it that way. Obama clearly doesn’t connect the dots. Because there are two things that are common to many of these mass shootings over the last couple of years—most of the shootings involve young people fresh out of their progressive educations. Second many of them are related to radical Islamic behavior. Fewer guns empowers these demographic groups toward terrorism—it doesn’t deter them.

The husband and wife shooter in San Bernardino recently were clearly Islamic radicals stoked into a froth of terrorism by fellow Jihadist activists. The situation was so embarrassing to the government that the wife had been permitted into the country on a work visa passing the Homeland Security check, then marrying a U.S. citizen whom she likely instigated into a Jihadist conversion. It was astonishing as of this writing that there was not yet a picture of the wife produced anywhere on the Internet. Surely there were some, but the authorities avoided putting her picture up because she represents a new level to the prospect of terror, the conversion of devout Muslims to Jihad through the power of sex. Without question, she is not alone working now with the United States. Obama cannot deny it— or anybody else. They propose gun control for one of two reasons; they have either promoted these extremists to come into the United States hoping to spread a Middle Eastern caliphate, or to cover the follies of their own terrible mismanagement as government officials. It is either deliberate promotion of these terrorist attacks or the result of gross incompetence. Given Obama’s social position against Israel, his reluctance to name Islamic terrorism by name, and his tendency as a foreign raised child to view America as an imperialist empire—that speculation as to his loyalty has reasonable traction to consider insurgency. His insistence on Syrian refugees entering the United States points to possibly thousands of additional terrorists raising more home-grown radicals just like this husband and wife team. These insurgents plan long and patiently. They fully intend the death of America like a long time family pet being taken to the vet to be euthanized. They say nice things to our ears, but their intentions are to woe us to sleep before the injection takes place.

Given all those raw facts it is clear that in either case, our government has been grossly incompetent. The terrorist husband in San Bernardino was a government worker, the investigators were government employees, the Homeland Security that allowed all this radical behavior to foster were government employees. All the freedoms we gave up, Constitutionally guaranteed, did not prevent the attack from occurring, so what was the point of it all? What’s the point of the HSA, the TSA, the FBI, the CIA or any of them if they couldn’t keep an online dating service from sending a girl from Saudi Arabia to an American born Muslim to ruin his mind with sex and radicalism until he was ready to shoot up an office building while maintaining a bomb factory at his home in full view of his neighbors—who were shushed into silence for fear of being labeled “prejudice.” Government incompetence is at the heart of every issue, so the obvious conclusion is that they cannot be trusted.

That is why gun sales are up, because normal Americans see the writing on the wall and they know they need to protect themselves. If an active civil war between factions of political ideology must break out, then the fault is on the government for failing to protect our private property from potential terrorists. We have the Second Amendment as a back-up–the way it was always designed, to take matters into our own hands if government proves itself to be so grossly inadequate. It is good and highly encouraged that all Americans obtain a concealed carry permit and began making themselves active resistance to this impending terrorism within our borders. Ruger is doing their part in offering to boost the power of the NRA with a donation for every firearm sold during this upcoming year, so if you’re planning to buy one, make it a Ruger.

One of the most exciting things about a possible Donald Trump presidency is that he is very pro Second Amendment and has a plan to make concealed carry permits viable in all 50 states. So if you get a concealed carry permit in Ohio, it would be good in California and Hawaii—which would be wonderful. If there had been armed people in that government building, those two terrorists could not have emptied so many rounds into innocent people. Some gun carrying protectors could have shot back ending the dispute right then and there. There may have still been some killed or injured, but the number would be far less. The response to these terrorist threats cannot be passivity, and gun restrictions. It has to be the opposite, more guns and expanded conditions for which private people carry them.

Of course this all points back to why I am now a recruiter for Second Call Defense. If you are going to carry a firearm and you find yourself in a self-defense shooting—say some Jihadist nut job came into your place of business or a fine restaurant you were taking your wife to for a nice dinner and these scum bags come in to spread their intentions of a global caliphate—and you shoot them—you will have to defend yourself from the same government that let those idiots roam free—that same government that refused to publish the picture of a young Saudi woman who used sex to convert the mind of a peaceful Muslim into a radical Jihadist. So you have to protect yourself from that government—because they will be looking for a straw man for their incompetence. Second Call Defense takes that ability away from them. First you shoot the terrorist saving as many people as you can, then you call Second Call Defense and let them handle the government investigation into the matter protecting you and your property from further incursions of blame. Just as Barack Obama took the side of Trayvon Martin in the George Zimmerman case in Florida putting the shooter at a severe legal disadvantage in the process, you don’t want the same thing to happen to you if you put down a terrorist Jihadist that the government let into the country to fulfill some political goal they have at our expense. If that happens, be sure to let Second Call Defense handle the case. Just use my name in the redemption code when you sign up and you will get the first month free. I wouldn’t put my name on something like this if I didn’t think it would help people and help spread the use of firearms in these types of cases.

Ruger specifically is one of my favorite firearms manufactures. I absolutely love my Vaquero; it is machined to perfection and is just an astonishingly wonderful product. I have shot it nearly a thousand times over the last couple of months and it gives me great pleasure to stand at my workbench in the garage and clean it back to its original finish after each shooting session. It is a wonderfully American thing to do as I listen to talk radio and listen to conservative discussions free of liberal sentimentality while cleaning a very nice firearm after a hard day of shooting, carefully, with great craftsmanship—to use an array of tools to care for something that is fun recreationally, but can also defend your property from the fools of the world—which are numerous. As I clean that gun I think of how special we are in the United States to have those privileges—we are probably the only place that has such an ability—free speech, free access to the finest firearms in the world, free from unreasonable searches and seizer—but it is all those rights that these terrorists are attacking. Their military objective is to erode our freedoms with terrorism, to force America to overreact into accepting gradually bigger government and much more restriction—like what terrorists achieved after 9/11. But we have to stop that game in its tracks right now. We have to give them the opposite. We need gun sales to spike; we need more people openly carrying them, and we need to make it easier for them to carry guns in more places. That is the only solution to the gross government mismanagement to the current Jihadist threats. And toward that aim, Ruger is a good place to begin fighting back. Second Call Defense is the next.

Cowboy Fast Draw Member 4265: My alias is Cliffhanger

About a decade ago when my oldest daughter’s boyfriend from Europe was trying to win me over for support, he put more than the average effort in to impress me. He joined me with my bullwhip friends in competitions and became pretty good. He and I worked for many hours in my backyard developing further the bullwhip fast draw modeled after the Ohio Fast Draw Association that also competed at our events for years. He even started dressing like me in some ways, with his own spin to the outfit. This of course made my daughter very happy and convinced her to make a long-term commitment to the fella. Whereas bad fathers are the type of people who make the common sluts and bar trash that are so prevalent these days, good fathers raise girls who think about bigger things so endorsements of potential mates are important to such daughters. For her the icing on the cake was that my future son-in-law bought himself an outback hat similar to mine and started wearing it everywhere very proudly.image image image

One night, he and I were philosophizing about life and the nature of it in my backyard and he asked me about why I wore a hat so much. I told him that it was to distinguish myself from the common flock of people. In America the Cowboy Way was a code of conduct that exhibited a value system which exceeded modern boundaries and that my hat was an obvious show of support for that value system. Wearing the hat was my way of dressing for the part and my role in preserving that way of life. I went on to say that my values exceeded even those of the Cowboy Way—I was more stringent on many of them and went further on others. My favorite cowboy movies were not the John Wayne classics, or even the Lone Ranger, but they were Zorro and the famed Clint Eastwood westerns like Pale Rider and The Outlaw Josie Wales. High Planes Drifter to me is one of the most sophisticated westerns ever filmed—it was essentially Ayn Rand set in the west—it was an overman which came to a town to straighten out the justice which was long overdue. Whether the protagonist was a ghost from the past or a highly skilled more than man type—it was my favorite western and when I wore my hat, it was a tribute to those types of philosophic ideals.

I’ve been content to keep things pretty much independent of the outside world. I don’t need a lot of social support, so my way of doing things has worked just fine for me. My adherence to the Cowboy Way has been a silent code that I have not rammed down the throats of everyone I have met too much—other than wearing my hat in public most of the time. It did the job with my son-in-law and let him know what kind of family he was marrying into and I was happy with that. However, the days where that was enough are gone—the world has moved further away from that Cowboy Way in recent years and I don’t find that acceptable. Politically the Trump run for president has been a godsend, because he is covering a lot of the topics I have for the last five years, but on a bigger stage with the press eating out of his hand. So I don’t feel a need to continue beating on that drum, since somebody else has it covered—at least for now. Additionally I have a respectable number of grandchildren all of a sudden, and like that impressionable potential mate that my future son-in-law was—kids need much more of a role model figure much earlier which is my job—and I take it very seriously. My son-in-law was around 15 to 16 at the time of our talk in the backyard; he’s now climbing toward thirty fast. Time does move quickly and if you want to make an impression, you better do it quick. Kids are ruined if you don’t get to them by the age of 11 or 12. In my son-in-law’s case he was lucky to have been raised in England with a traditional way which protected him from the corruption of progressive cities like London, New York, and San Francisco. But he wanted more and he was on my doorstep looking for it, and it was my job to make sure the young lad was at least pointed in the right direction not just for his sake, but my daughter’s. After all, you raise these kids, give them all this hope, and they need to have people in their lives who share those values. The task is a rather large one. But by the time I knew him, most of his foundation thoughts were already in place. What I was saying might have small influences over how he conducted his life, but major ones probably wouldn’t be possible that late in his climb toward manhood. I promised myself that when I started having grandchildren that I would step up this Cowboy Way philosophy for their sake so that they’d have the right tools equipped intellectually to deal with a modern world spiraling over the precipice. I am one hundred percent sure that the Cowboy Way is the answer to much of what sickens America right now, and that is one major thing that Donald Trump cannot have much impact on as a presidential candidate. So I have taken major steps in advocating the Cowboy Way in a fashion that I had long been thinking about—taking up Cowboy Fast Draw as a sport.

As a grown man I probably shouldn’t have been so excited to join up with the Cowboy Fast Draw Association. My package of materials arrived the day that my new granddaughter arrived home from the hospital after being born. It was a huge forty pound package that contained a lot of lights, timers and targeting equipment. Included was my new membership card and some pins that will come in handy down the road. My membership number is 4265 and of course my alias is Cliffhanger. In Cowboy Fast Draw all members must have an alias so of course mine would be Cliffhanger which is the philosophic foundation of this whole endeavor. In my fictional pulp series The Curse of Fort Seven Mile I wanted advance the direction of the character—but before I could do that of course I had to live the reality first—as my fiction has to reflect reality—otherwise I’m not interested in doing it. My membership card clearly has CLIFFHANGER written on it with a disclaimer on the back for police officers saying, “THE BEARER OF THIS CARD IS A PROFESSIONAL FAST DRAW COMPETITOR AND CARRIES SINGLE ACTION REVOLVERS FOR PURPOSES OF DEMONSTRATION AND COMPETITION.” In short, when roaming around wherever and need to maintain my practice with single action revolvers to maintain and increase my skills toward the Cowboy Way, cops shouldn’t be concerned or alarmed, because I’m a member of the Cowboy Fast Draw Association. Of course if that isn’t enough and I end up in some kind of self-defense altercation, I’ll call my buddies at Second Call Defense and let them handle the police—which is the other reason I have suddenly become so openly pro gun and an advocate of Second Call Defense. I have to protect my investment.

The Cowboy Fast Draw Association reminds me of how our Wild West Arts Club used to be over a decade ago. In a lot of ways, its much better. It was quite a privilege to open up my membership material and see several issues of the Gunslinger’s Gazette included. The group is working on expanding their membership base to over 5000 of which I was number 4265. I’d like to see it at over 20,000 and climbing, because I think it contains within it the essence that every American should be striving to behold as a nation built on philosophy and freedom—the Cowboy Way. The Gunslinger’s Gazette is essentially a publication dedicated to the Cowboy Way so it was wonderful to see a physical copy of the paper instead of the online edition I had been reading.

But to top it off the culmination of all this has not been easy. I have been a bullwhip guy for many decades, so accepting a new skill has not been painless for me. However, I have done pretty much what I can with bullwhips. I like what some of my friends have done to break records with them, but as a symbol of the Cowboy Way, bullwhips need help because they are not part of the American consciousness the way that single action firearms have been. So I needed to add that skill to my wheelhouse and I promised myself at a certain time “professionally” that I would buy my new Vaquero by Ruger and start this journey. Well that time came for me a few weeks ago. It had taken me a long time to get there, but I eventually did, and the very first thing I did was purchase the Vaquero which now sits by my side everywhere I go. I have to work with it all the time to build the muscles up in my hands, and that was the final gate to this new section of my life.

Needless to say, I’m proud to be affiliated with the Cowboy Fast Draw Association under the name of Cliffhanger. I’m also proud to be a part of Second Call Defense which helps make this new sport possible with the legal support that will help protect the validity of that membership card by CFDA. Having a firearm is an essential part of the Cowboy Way just like wearing the hat. One of the reasons my son-in-law was attracted to American life was that they didn’t allow firearms in England. He met my daughter and wanted to win me over essentially so that he could own firearms. It was my job to help him find what he was looking for. But that need doesn’t end with him, there are millions of people in just the same situation—they just don’t know how to go about it. That’s where introducing them to the Cowboy Way will help—it explains why the Second Amendment is so important and if the police get too power hungry at the sight of Cowboy Fast Draw Association members armed with single action Ruger Vaqueros on the plain states of Iowa, or Montana at a local burger joint on the way to a competition, Second Call Defense will be there to help preserve that Cowboy Way when the questions are asked. It is within these types of people who America needs to get to know itself once again—those who read the Gunslinger’s Gazette.

My grandchildren are going to get what they need; I’ll make sure of it. And of that necessity is a strong understanding of the Cowboy Way. I don’t preach to people who don’t want to listen, and I raise children that way, under a laissez-faire approach that allows individuals to invest of themselves into what I’m selling. If they walk away, they walk away, and I won’t track them down to the ends of the earth to help them. Rather I live by example, which is one of the most important parts of the Cowboy Way. And with my new membership into the Cowboy Fast Draw Association, and my friends at Second Call Defense, the gunsmithing equipment at Brownells the powder purchases from Cabela’s and many other support organizations, we’re going to protect that Second Amendment from the trying times that are before us. And it all starts with the beauty and simplicity of the Ruger Vaquero. This is going to be fun!

Just Type in “Overmanwarrior”: A great offer from Second Call Defense

George Lang from Second Call Defense presented a very nice offer during the WAAM radio show I was hosting for my friend Matt Clark.  I’ve done quite a lot of radio but this was the first time I was the host, which took a bit of getting used to.  Its one thing to be a guest as George was, it’s another to be the pace setter watching all the commercial stops and working with the producer on the other side of the glass.  But it was fun, as I expected it to be and as always quite revelatory.  The entire broadcast can be heard at the following link, which I’d suggest listening to again and again because of all the information presented.   I dedicated the show to the use of personal firearms for self-defense spending the first half talking about my personal experience in the matter, then put George on to discuss Second Call Defense, which is to my mind as important as the bullets you put into a gun used during a self-defense situation.  George covered a remarkable number of legal ins and outs during his segment which was worth listening to all by itself.  I have included the script I was working with to provide some guide to the broadcast.  The times include commercials which have been removed from the following recording.  George offered a free month of Second Call Defense subscription to anyone who types OVERMANWARRIOR into the redeem code on their website—which was a pretty good deal.

Here are the plans and pricing.  The box requiring the redeem code is on the next page while filling out the payment information form.

As George pointed out during the broadcast George Zimmerman could have saved himself a lot of headache if he had used Second Call Defense during the Trayvon Martain shooting in Florida.  Using a gun in home defense or in a stand-your ground situation is only part of the story.  Because of the way laws and modern politics work, the burden of proof falls unfortunately on the shooter to validate their innocence.  When talking to the police after such an unfortunate incident, it is best to give the police as little as possible to turn around and use against you in court during a criminal or civil trial.  Some of those court hearings can be so painful that you might almost wish you hadn’t used a gun—which is the reason for all the progressive legislation—to nudge Americans away from the Second Amendment.  There are entirely too many people involved in self-defense shootings every year that lose everything because of the legal entanglements that occur after.  The very best thing to do in such a case is to turn all the legal work over to Second Call Defense and keep your mouth shut—even if you’re innocent of all guilt.  The system works against gun owners, so you’ll need some help, which is why George Lang is involved in Second Call Defense to begin with.  It’s a much-needed service for firearm use; just as the NRA is needed as a lobby against a gun grabbing government.  They are both very important and go hand in hand in this modern age of a lawyer driven society primarily against gun rights.

As I reported in my broadcast my decision to purchase the .500 Magnum was for all the reasons that the SWAT guys used a .50 caliber sniper rifle to stop the crazed gunman who opened up on a Dallas police station just hours before my show.  They used the big, powerful round to disable the getaway van by putting two shots into the engine block.  The .500 Magnum has the same type of stopping power, which in the world we are living in, is needed.  There is no reason to take risks with personal safety, so I am choosing the Smith & Wesson .500 Magnum as my choice for family defense.  But, those big bullets aren’t enough to protect a firearm user from the diabolical reaches of the classic political class and their need for a straw man to prosecute in the wake of a shooting.  Their need for a straw man should never be underestimated.  As a firearm owner, you need protection from them as much as you do the goons, the punks, and the creeps George and I were talking about.  It’s a vicious world out there, and I have to thank George for making it easier for listeners of the Clarkcast to get protected with a free month by using the redeem word, “OVERMANWARRIOR.”  Take advantage of that offer, it is some of the best insurance that you can have for yourself

I’ll be hosting for Matt again on Saturday, June 20th at 1pm.  On that show Gery Deer will be with me to talk more about guns, knife throwing, and bull whips.  Be sure to tune in for more voluminous entertainment and interconnecting knowledge.

Second Call Defense: The first defense is a firearm, the second is from the parasites that follow

One of the great themes of this site is to highlight the many ways that progressives have attacked traditional American culture.  Progressives have an intense desire to wean Americans away from all forms of self-reliance so that national collectivism and addiction to government services are provoked.  This has never been more evident than in relation to The Second Amendment of The United States Constitution.  In the good ol’ days when a criminal nut-case broke into a home to steal a loaf of bread and was shot dead by the homeowner on the front porch of their property, the sheriff might come out—make a record of the case while enjoying some corn whisky brewed from a room in the back of the home.  The homeowner would be treated respectfully and with honor and the assumption of guilt would be placed squarely on the character lying on the porch stiffening up due to rigor mortis.  However, not any more—as progressives have seeped like viral insects into every aspect of American culture, legal, media, education, elected office, etc.  The homeowner shooting intruders on their property have become saturated with panicky analysis and over-zealot gun grabbing politicians who want to build careers off their suffering.  Progressives directly and indirectly have destroyed the very concept of individual rights in America for which The Second Amendment seeks to protect.  In 2013 if a homeowner shoots a criminal nut case on their front porch the homeowner will be arrested aggressively and thrown into the back of a police car.  Their computers and personal possessions will be confiscated and scrutinized and the property held by the state until prosecution of the shooter is concluded.  The shooter will be charged with murder as the attacker wasn’t inside the home.  The situation will be made worse when it is discussed that the attacker was only armed with a knife deeming no immediate threat to the homeowner who could have avoided opening the door and hoped the attacker would move away on their own.  Progressive groups would then attack the homeowner in court through testimony stating that the attacker was simply hungry because they lost their job and needed food.  Media outlets will then broadcast the story all over America about how the attacker had a “collective right” to the possessions of the homeowner and that if the shooter had only been willing to share his assets with the attacker both would be alive and free today saving the tax payers hundreds of thousands of dollars in court costs.    When the frustrated defendant proclaims on the stand that “it’s not fair that a nut-case trying to attack their private property had more rights than they did,” the prosecuting attorney would simply respond, “how do you know the slain victim was a nut case?  Are you a psychologist?  Where did you study?  What degree do you hold that enables you to proclaim that the victim was a so-called nut-case?  These are the kind of things only professions are qualified to answer.”  This is why George Lang along with a fistful of other patriots has started a new legal group called Second Call Defense.

In fact that was George Lang playing the hypothetical role of a homeowner defending his property from an attacker.  In the video several examples were given about real life tragedies where the homeowner used a gun to defend their life yet found themselves in financial ruin because of the legal aftermath where parasitic entities sought to capitalize off progressive gun legislation that is entirely too aggressive.  Lang knows a lot from an insider’s track about how the legal system can be just as much of a parasite attacking personal liberty as an intruder in a home.  He is a trustee of West Chester Twp, in Ohio where the community pays its police department better wages than any place else from Pittsburg to Indianapolis.  George has seen firsthand many cases similar to the example above cross his desk not just in his home town but all across America.   This is the primary reason that Lang and his group have teamed up with The Buckeye Firearms Foundation to offer gun owners, supporters of The Second Amendment, and property owners’ legal help through Second Call Defense.  They also offer preventative measures against the progressive encroachment of a legal system gone mad.

http://www.buckeyefirearms.org/node/8823

Progressives wish to believe that government has all the answers and can 100% of the time be relied upon to correct social debaucheries.  Do-gooder politicians like Senator Diane Feinstein have built their careers injecting their progressive beliefs into every tragedy that strategically seeks to focus legal analysis away from individual liberty toward collective salvation.   For well over 100 years now this gradual eroding of personal liberty has shifted the focus of behavioral studies away from any form of property ownership toward collective necessity.  In court shooters will be grilled on the stand as to “how did they knew the attacker was a threat if they were simply on the porch and not brandishing a knife?” The burden of proof falls on the homeowner and not the dead victim as progressive legal interpretations have given the attacker the right to do as they please on the homeowner’s front porch.  The homeowner has an obligation to call the “authorities” who will then inject themselves into the business of the homeowner and supersede their authority on their own property.  To the progressive, the issue is not about guns, or the rights of the shooter, or even the dead body on the porch—the real villain is their hatred of private property and a sinister desire to erase the concept of it from the minds of Americans.

Yet, even if the homeowner called the authorities, there is no guarantee that they will act honorably and in the best interest of the caller.  As George Lang knows all too well, the cops sometimes find that they are not too far away from the decrepit mind of an attacker and are all too tempted to abuse their power at the expense of the homeowner.  Lang had to participate recently in a West Chester Township financial settlement where over-zealous young cops seemingly hungry to prove their manhood beat an un-armed drunk after a fight at a late night sports bar.  The drunk wasn’t even part of the fight that had occurred much earlier but was simply the last person left on the scene.   The cops wanted to exert their authority on someone abusing the man beating him senseless.  Even with video evidence telling the story convincingly the superiors sided with the officers proving beyond doubt that in a court of law, the drunk had little chance of defending himself as all the cops had their stories aligned.  It was when a grand jury examined the case that Lang realized the cops were in the wrong and the decision had to be made to pay the victim in a settlement to avoid further financial detriment to the community because of the police mistake.  CLICK HERE TO SEE MORE ON THE STORY WITH VIDEO.  So even if the cops are called to save the property of a homeowner, there is no way to know what type of officer might show up in a police car these days in a society that values deception over honor.

Second Call Defense was created to provide some help with these types of gun related cases.  Once an attacker decides they want whatever it is that a property owner has, only one threat has been contained if the property owner uses a gun to stop that threat.  From there an entire legal system of progressive activists, deal making politicians, morally deficient law enforcement, and presiding family members who may not have cared one ounce for the life of the defeated attacker, but in death through civil lawsuits and the promise of easy money the life of a typical scum-bag suddenly becomes worth a king’s ransom.  A shooter protecting their property in 2013 America not only must protect themselves from attackers in the middle of the night as shown in the video above, but from the legal parasites who wish to make their careers off the backs of tragedy which is often the real threat.  It is that second threat that Second Call Defense seeks to protect its members from.  No other organization offers such a service in all of America.  Second Call Defense offers training and education on legal firearm use, emergency resources such as a 24/7 legal hotline and upfront cash for attorney retainers and bonds.  Insurance coverage for criminal and civil protection that is backed by the NRA endorsed insurance program is also offered.  Most people can’t afford to put up thousands of dollars to get up to $10,000 upfront for an attorney retainer, immediate cash for a bond up to $250,000, up to $500 per day in wage compensation while in court, up to 40 sessions of psychological support, and up to $250,000 accidental shooting protection, $50,000 criminal defense reimbursement, unlimited civil suit defense protection, and $250,000 civil suit damages protection.  Second Call Defense does all this and more.  The first defense is in the property owner defending their life with a firearm.  The second defense is from the parasites who seek to make livings off the misery left in the wake.  From those, a gun cannot protect anyone.  But now there is a group that can, Second Call Defense.
