Becoming an Overmanwarrior: The art of being free of fear

I have noticed from many of my readers a feeling of anxiety in realizing that the potential for conflict appears to be imminent in our generation. Many Americans have found that they can live their daily lives conflict free for the most part, and that such a thought of future confrontation is upsetting. These days it’s not enough to just say that Americans should keep their guns close and should prepare for conflict against foreign and domestic enemies. CLICK HERE FOR PROPER CONTEXT. Americans need to know how to fight and what to expect, and once that is understood, the fears of a potential clash will be greatly abated. Click the link below to see an example of why there is cause for alarm.

I have thought about conflict every single day since I was 6 years old. I have never really been interested in anything but conflict, and I have studied the book by Sun Tzu called The Art of War for many years to quench my hunger for military, and political strategy. So I do not worry about being attacked, because I know what my enemies will attempt, and I know exactly what to do to counter each aggressive action. The Art of War is used all over the world today, including instruction at West Point in The United States. CLICK THE LINK BELOW. It is the book to study to get a basic understanding of the strategies that are being used against us all on a daily basis.

Understanding this book well is very important to accepting how to deal with aggressors, and how to defeat your enemies. In a confrontation, it’s often shocking to act against an aggressor so in reading a book like The Art of War it starts your mind down the road of that unfortunate inevitability. It is a book that must be known and understood even if oriental mythology and philosophy are rejected, because the chances are, your enemy has vast knowledge of the book if they are attacking you. So to make you acquainted with the book and who wrote it, I’d like you to watch this documentary below on The Art of War. Grab a snack, relax and open up your mind. You will want to take some notes.

Below is the actual reading of the text from The Art of War. It’s not a terribly large book, but I spent the 10 year period of the my 20’s to 30’s learning to understand the meaning of the text since some of the concepts require an understanding of oriental philosophy, which took me a while to get my mind around since much of it is rooted in various forms of collectivism. But the concepts of The Art of War are universal and will be used against you at some point in your life if you do not understand the forces that are working against you. As Sun Tzu says in The Art of War, not understanding the text is like fighting in the dark. So click this video and listen. There are no video images in this clip, but only the audio recording of the actual text translation. Keep those notes handy, because you’ll want to take a bunch.

None of these videos can actually replace the book. You can find The Art of War at your local book store in the philosophy section. Sometimes you can find it in the business and management sections as well.

To understand how to apply The Art of War on the individual level the work of Miyamoto Musashi’s Book of Five Rings is the book to study. I have found that Musashi’s techniques with samurai swords can also be used with bull whips and single action pistols, so it does not have to be specific for eastern philosophy. Any martial art weapon can utilize a variation of Musashi’s strategy. In this case a martial art weapon is anything that could be used in combat. And to understand what Musashi was all about, here is another documentary that is extremely important. Musashi had developed the art of becoming “invincible in battle.” He had enemies all over Japan in his day, and he never lost a to any of them. Before his death from the cave he called home which only had one entrance so his enemies could not surround him, he wrote The Book of Five Rings to teach his students is art form and is ability at invincibility if battle.

The Book of Five Rings is so important to me that I gave it to my son-in-law early in my relationship with him, and most recently I gave my youngest daughter’s fiancé a copy of that book. The teachings of Miyamoto Musashi are ESSENTIAL to every human being.

To ignore these two books, The Art of War and the Book of Five Rings does not make the world peaceful. The only way to have peace is to understand how to decimate your enemy and for them to know it. Chances are, if you are attacked by an organized force, they understand these two books, so it is only fair for you to have the same knowledge.

Those of us in the Constitutional movement for restoring America understand that we are going to be attacked for our stance by those who are forcing change we do not agree with. Violence will come to us, and guns alone will not be enough to fight them off. It does not matter that the enemy knows I am passing this information on to my readers here at Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom. Part of being free human beings is in knowing that fear does not dictate our thoughts. So by learning to think like Miyamoto Musashi and Sun Tzu the reader learns that they do not have to be destroyed by an attacker. The action of an aggressor does not automatically mean that the victim is helpless against another’s intentions.

Being free means not having to worry about the intentions of your enemy. The most common example of this is when someone says that if you don’t behave a certain way, or do this or do that, that someone who desires otherwise might shoot you, and kill you. My response to those people is to ask how. Just because my attacker pulls the trigger to a gun, it does not guarantee that the bullet will enter my body and end my life. Whether I “allow” such a thing to occur is what these books are all about. Learning the difference between being a victim and being invincible is the key, and once you understand living your life from a position of invincibility you will find that life opens up wonderfully, and the freedoms of being an America can be enjoyed at a whole new level.

It is possible that your attacker has also learned to become invincible and in those combat engagements, then a stalemate is reached. This is how the human race maintains peace. This is how human beings respect each other, in knowing that they have mastered the art of invincibility and attack against another is pointless.

So dear reader, listen to and watch these documentaries. Then go read the books. Because when the time comes, we are going to want to speak to each other in the language of combat. And I will want you to understand what I’m saying. There is still time, so use it to your advantage because you will need it. Pick your weapon and study it. Get to know it like you know your own arms and legs. That is how you will win and survive what is coming.

Once you understand these two books, you will be ready for the more difficult task of rebuilding your personal philosophy into something that is more suitable for the lives we are living. Click Here to begin that journey.

The ACLU: Black Knights disguised as galliant freedom fighters

The ACLU advertises itself as being an organization that fights for the rights of the people and protects free speech. But the true nature of the ACLU agenda has roots that run deep into the gardens of society. And those gardens as they exist now are full of weeds pushed up by the ACLU.

A representative of the ACLU, an earnest man from the Ohio chapter, not too long ago spoke at a Tea Party event in southern Ohio, for the Liberty Township group, a satellite of the Cincinnati Tea Party. In his talk he was questioned about why the ACLU was suing Arizona for its new immigration law. The man then danced vigorously on the stage, even though there wasn’t any music.

He was of course not literally dancing, but was dancing with words which infuriated the Tea Party group, because it had become obvious he couldn’t give a straight answer. The audience wondered why a group named, the American Civil Liberties Union, didn’t represent the Americans terrorized by illegal immigrants and border violence, but chose to take a position in favor of people who weren’t even American citizens.

The credibility of the ACLU will always be in question. This is a group that gives legitimacy to groups like NAMBLA, the North American Man/Boy Love Association, but is shy to take up positions which favor the Second Amendment, hiding behind the Supreme Court case of United States v. Miller in 1939. In that case, the right to own a gun transported across state lines was attacked because it wasn’t a gun that could be used in a militia and the gun fell under commerce because it was transported from Oklahoma to Arkansas. Such legal dancing is routine, and is the embodiment of how our current case-law has drifted far from the original constitutional intentions. If the ACLU put the same energy into defending Second Amendment rights, or 10th Amendment rights instead of groups like NAMBLA, we might have a much different country that more accurately represents what the founders envisioned.

But the ACLU has chosen to walk down the road that has had more influence on our constitution than most any organization, and they’ve done it by forming case-law around issues like homosexual rights in the military, or the right of a man to lust after a young boy. As a group of only 500,000 members it generates over $85 million in revenue. This makes it a cleverly disguised lobby group for some of the more radical members of our society that have indirectly attacked the principles of our constitution. And this lobby group is attacking elements of our country like cancer cells do to the human body.

The ACLU has been routinely affiliated with communists. In 1940, they formally banned communists from the organization, even though the founder, Roger Baldwin was a former supporter of communism, in order to give an appearance of neutrality in legal cases. Bernadine Dohrn, leader of the Weather Underground and wife of Bill Ayers was a legal researcher in 1990 and 1991. She is one that took a stand of support for the violence of Charlie Manson during the Helter Skelter issue. With such people in the ACLU, is it any surprise that the ACLU opposes capital punishment because of its ultimate denial of civil liberties? Charles Manson’s trial expenditure came to over $770,000 and his cost of imprisonment has cost tax payers more than $644,000. In such a clear-cut case, such as the Manson issue, why has he been allowed to burden our tax system, along with thousands like him? The ACLU is proud that it takes on any client without judgment. But what the ACLU leaves in its wake is a path of destructive case law that cripples our legal system.

Was it such a great victory for free speech to have the Ten Commandments removed from the courthouses of Georgia, Tennessee, Alabama and Kentucky, when so much of our country was founded on principles of divine trust and guidance? The ACLU successfully attacked The Ten Commandments, but is silent on the violation of the 10th Amendment over the Health Care Bill. Our Constitution is a uniquely profound document. It has produced the greatest country on the face of the earth in known history. However, it allows groups like the ACLU to exist because of the Constitution, even if the intent of the ACLU is to subtly attack the founding document and reshape it into something more akin to The Communist Manifesto.

Beware of those white knights that proclaim to help, such as how the ACLU portrays itself. They may actually use the guise of goodness as a way to get behind our defenses and destroy everything from within. And the well-intentioned speaker from the Ohio Chapter, bright-eyed and believing that he is the champion for the weak, and defender of the Constitution…..that is why we have the Second Amendment. We don’t need the ACLU. It’s time to tend to our garden and start pulling the weeds, so the flowers can bloom. And it’s time to spread some mulch so the weeds can be choked off from the sunlight, and stop growing. Once all the weeds are gone, and we can see our garden again, we’ll be surprised at how robust that garden flourishes.

In the garden of America it is groups like the ACLU, NAMBLA, Teacher’s unions, lawyers in general, multi-term politicians and presidents who want to be remembered as kings who are our weeds, and it’s time now to remove them from our landscape.

The Rich Hoffman Rule: Take Washington D.C. off life support–NO MORE TAXES!

It is interesting after listening to what Glenn Beck said about President Obama that he decided to give the speech about “The Buffett Rule” from the hallway outside the Oval Office. (You can review that here) The speech below is an important disclosure that reveals much of what is wrong with the nation currently. As Obama pleads his case with the audience, he is making many generalizations that deserve attention. Primarily, he cited “education” as one of the many items that require further taxation from America’s infrastructure to fully fund, and the phantom value of that government program is tossed out as an emotional plea to buy what the President is selling. Check the speech out for yourself.

Speeches like the one that the President gave on Saturday April 14, 2012 are presented to the public as a dictator would address his subjects. When I hear a person like Obama speak the first thing that comes to my mind is why do I have to pay so much tax in the first place? Who says I want to fund all the government programs from the past, like The New Deal from Roosevelt, and The Great Society from LBJ? Because I don’t.  I’d save a lot of money each week if I did not have to contribute to those two primary taxes. And by the time I reached my own retirement age I would have the opportunity to triple, maybe even quadruple the investment with my own private maneuvering—or not. But at birth the government has committed a crime against me; they have created a system that requires me before I’ve even left the womb of my mother to contribute much of my life’s earnings to those two government programs. Nobody asked me if I thought those programs were valuable, they just assumed I’d want to play along, and if I didn’t, well—the IRS would attempt to strong-arm me into compliance. That is the government’s plan to action.

That is the only reason I pay those taxes—to Social Security and Medicaid, to avoid trouble with the IRS. I don’t pay the money because I believe in the system. I know as I pay the tax that the money in Medicaid will be wasted on an industry that’s too expensive. Doctors and other medical professionals will charge more for their service because they know Medicaid is a government program with no head directing the body, so they take advantage like common thieves. And Social Security is a Ponzi scheme that requires the investment of every American to fund the retirements of the elderly. It needs more and more young people to contribute to keep the fund alive, and America just isn’t making babies the way they used to. The math doesn’t work out and Social Security will fail. I have no plans to ever collect the money I’ve wasted on Social Security. I view it as money lost in a casino or consumed on an expensive dinner, except I didn’t even get to enjoy the food. Why am I connected by law to all these people? Who says I want to retire? I don’t even go to the doctor so I certainly don’t use any of these services. If I held the money on my own and saved it, I’d have a lot of money to deal with health issues and my own retirement once I got to that age. But just those two programs, Medicaid and Social Security take away an enormous amount of my personal income.

As I listened to the President talk about filing our taxes I have to question, what is the merit of the taxes I’m paying? Would I pay them if not for the threat of jail or having my property seized? No I wouldn’t. I only pay taxes to keep the bad guys away. I don’t do it in compassion for my fellow-man. I don’t do it for any political party. I do it to avoid violence with the government.

Then the President brought up education. My feelings on this subject are quite clear if you read this site often. I think public education right now needs competition introduced to bring down the costs of education. I do not want government-run schools to teach our youth. I have watched public education work up close and I think it’s ready for the scrap heap, and is near complete worthlessness. It’s good for a babysitting service for busy parents and that’s about it. So why in the world would I want to pay more money for education when it’s obvious the system is broken? The President foolishly assumes that more money equals higher quality—and it doesn’t! That tells me he is using the same rational to propose The Buffett Rule. The President in his speech is acting as a mindless money grabber without thought as to what he’s asking for. His assumptions are that we all wish to live in a collective society where we all are interconnected, and if education says they need a little bit of money—we should give it to them without question—because it’s an investment in our children. We are supposed to accept that Social Security will magically fix itself in the years to come, so we should just pay blindly. And we are supposed to ignore that Medicare and Medicaid are not cease pools of waste and corruption.

No, sorry Dude, I’d gladly opt out of Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, and all education funding. I could do a better job with my money in EVERY circumstance and I don’t need or want the government involved in my business. I don’t want to be connected to society by force, but by choice. I want to be independent of society, not chained to them, and people like President Obama have chained me to the foolishness of the masses out of the coercion of the Federal Government.

Government minimizes the individualist cause and emphasizes the social effect, which to them is the moral primacy. The result is forced second-handler imposition on people like me, who wish complete independence. Government forces me to participate with the threat of trouble even though my eyes see that the government programs will cause our nation trouble in the long run. The moral primacy of government is incorrect and I am supposed to ignore my logic and yield to a political power that has been granted with my tax dollars. The political power is the result of a government maintaining a monopoly on coercion.

So the political power that President Obama so smugly displays in these little games he plays by setting up this speech in the hallway outside the Oval Office to “create” a psychological impression and fulfill an agenda hidden to us all, is one that exists by the monopoly that government has on violence and social imposition upon it’s people that is maintained by taxes we pay for services we really don’t need. And we are forced to because of the power behind his smug little face.

Strip all that political power away that we gave to President Obama and his thugs in Washington and you’d see only a typical man—a typical political activist looking to make his mark in the world. You’d also see a man barely capable of balancing his own check book and struggling to pay for his groceries. You’d most likely see a guy who would be among the first to sign up for “government assistance” to carry away the burden of living from his own mind and hands. You’d see a collectivist, a tribal advocate who uses the blanket of the masses to hide his own insecurities over his own individual abilities. This is what we are paying for with our tax money—average people to pretend they are kings who can rule their subjects with the looted power of coerced money stolen from the backs of the productive. And we are to believe what the king tells us and not question the value of the words with blind faith.

It is because of speeches like this one, and the terrible process of delivering a viable presidential candidate for the conservative side that I believe we need to just cut Washington D.C. loose, to just stop sending them any money at all. I think we need to take away the money that makes Washington D.C. the wealthiest city in America that only makes one product—government. It’s a city of looters, thieves, scam artists, scum bags, pimps, prostitutes, drug dealers, politicians and common thugs and I don’t want to give them the money I’m currently spending on them—let alone more! I am not happy with my government and I don’t wish to pay more for it. For the same reason I would not go back to a fast food restaurant that messed up my previous order, I wish for an alternative—but we don’t have one—because government uses the money we send them to build a monopoly power that is corrosive and eliminates any free market threat to their empire. And I’m not OK with that.

I don’t care about The Buffett Rule. I only care about The Rich Hoffman Rule, NO MORE TAXES—AT ALL! In fact, I’d like to see my tax burden cut in half and the wealthiest Americans take control of the vast amounts of money they pay in taxes and do something with it that will actually be productive, instead of throwing it into the cease pool of Washington D.C. to help these fools maintain a monopoly of coercion that is anti-American and socialist in nature giving power to men of average means at the expense of the best and brightest who still toil to give people like President Obama the ability to think of themselves as kings.

Schmoozing in Politics: The end does not justify the means–the train is leaving

For those who proclaim, “It’s not what you do in life, but it’s who you know,” you are committing a vast evil upon the possibilities of human potential. I have heard from many over the last couple months who assumed that through my work with the local school levies, and liberty groups that I was ultimately after a political position of some kind or another—that my work in those activities were to lead me to one of those “coveted government” jobs that provide so much money and security to the beholder. There was an assumption that I would idly comply as school board members and community parasites infiltrated the inner circles of my associates in an attempt to steer our offensive into a sort of–compromise. There was an assumption that I would hold my tongue when it was obvious that political ambitions and a need for money have tainted the ambition of the liberty groups, to maintain a status of good standing among the powerful. The assumption was that I had shown my skills in public discourse and my reward would be a rightful place among the politically powerful.

But that was never my intention—to be given a rightful place in the world of politics. It was never my intention to “get” something in exchange for my skill as a spokesman or crusader. Because in so doing I would break one of my personal rules that I live by every day, never to schmooze, suck-up, or gain favor of a person or entity that I otherwise might not associate with out of personal self-interest. My interest in political crusades and liberty fighting was not for gain, but out of a genuine desire to solve a problem. My work here at this site and out among the media has been simply to fix what is broken, and as I’ve gotten my hands dirty it has come to my mind that I desire to completely reinvent the entire political system. I do not wish to preserve the public education system, so I lost my desire to simply be a spokesman for a group that didn’t want to see its taxes increase. I still support the aim of such groups, but my interest has shifted. And now after two years of observation, it is obvious that the liberty groups do not have the resolve to solve the current political crises. They did not put their political effort behind the Ron Paul’s of presidential candidates, but the Mitt Romney’s. From people within my own family to trusted friends, the prospect of such a radical culture shift is just too great. Too many people are addicted to politics as usual—a system that depends on the premise, “It’s who you know.”

When a local personality or business owner says, “I know important people on council, or in the city or state government,” what they are proclaiming is that they can gain access to power that will give them an advantage over someone who doesn’t have that access. Someone seeking that type of access might take that powerful person to a baseball game, or invite them to play golf so that the exchange of favors can be placed on the table of thought. This is called schmoozing, and it is against the law in my book. In my book, the powerful person is supposed to be in service to the public, not handing out favors to their friends who have schmoozed them. If the so-called “powerful person” is a politician they have only become powerful through theft or extortion. They have intercepted tax revenue to be redistributed elsewhere, or they have the ability to write laws that can hurt one party or another. That is the source of their “power” and it is an abuse of their designated task.

I have several friends who are caught in this very snare; they spend a great deal of their time and money schmoozing people who might otherwise hurt them. It’s the old premise of “keep your friends close, but your enemies closer,” schmooze them into peace with you so that you can make a profit. Such a mentality is the same as the restaurant owner who might schmooze the mob to cut a break on “protection money” or eliminating a competitor. The same kind of thing is going on in legitimate businesses today and the golf courses of America are full of this activity. It’s may not be the mob as we think of it in the days of Al Capone, or the fictional Godfather, but the effect is the same.

Over Christmas I was invited to a popular meeting place on the high-end of reputation to celebrate the departure of a person I have a great deal of history with. I declared that I would not go because this person had become my enemy and I had no desire to break bread. It was explained to me that hatred was a powerful thing and that I might regret it later. I explained that I was fine with my level of hate. That I would not be going because my attendance would not be genuine. If I went it would be schmoozing, and I don’t do that. The person in question had earned my hatred, and it was not my task to ease their mind with forgiveness.

I have heard for years that hatred is a bad emotion, that to carry it around will erode my soul. Well—no it doesn’t. Hatred is a natural reaction to injustice and it lets the person who committed that injustice know that there are consequences for their actions. Without consequences there is no incentive for many people to do the right thing, because many do not chose to do the right thing out of a sense of justice, but out of fear of the personal impact of revenge should they cross the line. So when a pacifist speaks of not harboring hate, they are telling you to turn the other cheek to be abused again, and again and again. They will tell you that if your enemy feeds you to the lions then you should take the massacre with a clean heart and not wish ill on your enemy. That is what’s wrong with politics at every level, and the reason I reject everything about the current system. People are functioning from a weak philosophy that was given to them by history constructed by past dictators, and they accept it without question.

By default through the human tendency to build their entire lives around schmoozing for all the various combinations described above, two political parties have emerged. Liberals advocate intellectual freedom while putting their emphasis of government management on economic controls. Conservatives desire economic freedom while placing controls on the intellect. Both are wrong in their basic premise. This is the reason for our current “mixed economy” and general faults as a government. This is why young people reject activity in politics and instead play video games and watch silly television shows. Politics has become only applicable to the schmoozers of the world and until people have a need to schmooze someone, they do not engage in politics.

Now, to the schmoozers—which is most everyone—my views are considered radical. To declare that politics should be run by objective reason is a radical concept to a political system that is run by schmoozing, (who you know syndrome) Our legal system will never be fair as long as “schmoozing” from an attorney to a judge is accepted practice—which it is. Our political system can never function correctly as long as “schmoozing” (lobbyists) is accepted and openly embraced. Our politics at that point has no chance of being a representative republic, and it’s not worth saving because it’s broken at its core functioning from the wrong premise—the wrong philosophy right out of the gate.

If the definition of a radical is being the only one who believes something to the extreme opposite of accepted social behavior then so be it because in this case the accepted social behavior is wrong. America is the country that it is today not because of the decisions made during the progressive era. It was not The New Deal or the Great Society that built the skyscrapers of Manhattan, created McDonalds, or put man on the moon. It was the very brief time in American history after the Civil War where the industrial revolution was just emerging, and railroad’s made communication and transportation over vast distances possible and Washington was preoccupied with all the new developments. During that time there was a lot less “schmoozing” going on for about 20 years ending right around the McKinley administration. Pure capitalism functioned without the looters of politics sticking their hands into the process to disrupt manufacturing as leverage over their political rivals. Once politicians began doing this “schmoozing” again with one another and with business owners America fell back into a mixed economy and have cruised out the last 100 years off that small shot in the arm provided by pure capitalism. A few developments since then like the fast food industry, and the computer have managed to jump onto the scene before government could act as a regulator. But for the most part, government has stifled American productivity while attaching many socialist programs to the wealth created by capitalism such as Social Security and Medicare. It is those decisions that threaten to destroy America in the next century. The true impact of mixing the introduction of socialism with pure capitalism won’t be felt completely for another decade, but it’s coming quickly.

Instead of having a beer with those inviters of peace that night to see off an enemy and assure that particular person that I would not hunt them down for their evils against me 5 years down the road, 10 years or even 20 years in the future, I read some of the work of Niccolo Machiavelli. It was Machiavelli who proposed the term, “The end justifies the means.” What Machiavelli was proclaiming was an essential truth from the vantage point of protecting the success of the state. It is to that basic idea from Machiavelli that the art of “schmoozing” came to be, and it is why our current political system is a failure that I reject completely. It is also why I distance myself from groups when I see too much “schmoozing” going on because failure of the group will be imminent upon such action.

The ends do not justify the means if it is individual freedom that is desired. The rights of individuals are the only concern because in so doing, a society of goodness and prosperity that have only been touched remotely in America is possible. If such a philosophy could reemerge in America, then perhaps the rest of the world could have it too. But schmoozing only leads to one path, dictatorship. Just as a mixed economy will yield the benefits of pure capitalism to the tyranny of socialist state control, it all ends with one person more powerful than someone else and brings about some form of communism. That is the default mode of schmoozing, it gives one entity more power over another entity not by merit of their enterprise, but out of false obligation due to feelings and favors.

This is why I declare both political parties a complete and utter failure. The campaign donations given on both sides are a form of schmoozing and it corrupts the basis of republic government, and the more I have learned along the way, the less interested I have become in working with the current system as it is now. Rather, I seek to see it dismantled and rebuilt as a true republic with an emphasis on pure capitalism and the solitary pursuit of individual freedom for every single person on the face of planet earth. And there is no compromise. Schmoozing won’t dull the impact.

It is for the reasons above that I have decided a different approach to politics is desperately needed.  People may call it radical.  They may be very upset with me for rocking their sense of security.  They may be frustrated with my lack of tolerance.   But I do not schmooze and I do not look to others for anything in my life.  When I need to provide income for myself I write books.  A book to me is a offering of my work, talent, and imagination in exchange for something else of value, so when a fan of mine purchases a book I write, I know that an exchange of equal value has been made, and I feel good about the balance.

I desire independence and respect for my freedoms, yet I have been given a world of schmoozers that have looted off one another incessantly for decades with schmoozing but looks to people like me to bail them out of their folly–and I’m not going to do it.  I don’t owe anybody anything and I don’t ask them to give me anything that isn’t already mine.  That is why I’m working toward a change in attitude and approach on a quest that will make many people very angry.  But that’s their problem, because they are the ones who placed themselves across the tracks of my personal freedom.   And anyone who wants to come along with me is welcome.  But my train is leaving the station, and it’s not going to stop.

Kick Ass: Big Daddy and Hit Girl

You know you’ve done a good job as a parent when your kids reach adulthood and think so much of you that they give you a superhero themed birthday party because that’s how they remember what you did for them. And that’s what my kids did for my birthday yesterday. In fact, my oldest daughter and her husband wanted me to see a movie that reminded them of the way I raised her so badly, that it was the planned feature presentation of our evening together.

They had asked me what I wanted to do for my birthday and I told them I just wanted to do a little thing around the house, and maybe watch a movie with everyone over, since our schedules clash so often these days, and we don’t get many opportunities for that kind of thing anymore. After dinner, presents and cake all themed with superhero imagery my kids arranged for me to see the movie Kick Ass, which I wasn’t very excited about at first, until we started watching it.

My daughters joked about how the father named Big Daddy in the movie trained his 11-year-old daughter Hit Girl how to be an assassin by shooting her with a 9 MM pistol so she’d get used to the pain of being hit with a bullet. Big Daddy did this as part of her assassin training so she wouldn’t be rattled during combat and lose focus.

It’s a running joke in our family that I did similar things not so much with guns, but with bullwhips, and other martial art weapons all during their upbringing for much the same reason, and Big Daddy played by Nicholas Cage embodied almost perfectly the way they remembered me during their childhood.

I wasn’t sure at first if that was a good thing or a bad thing until I saw the way the film played out. I don’t watch many movies these days since my children are all grown up, so this one came and went without me noticing it too much. But it’s one of the favorite movies of my children, because it resonates with them how they now see the world due to the way I raised them.

Many parents would be critical of the way I taught my kids, with a heavy emphasis on self-preservation, large doses of independence and a tank like persistence to resist compromise. And they are successfully functioning in the world currently and aren’t radical isolationists. Quite the opposite, they have a lot of friends who seek their time and attention. They are hardly crazed lunatics. But they feel an obligation to justice and doing what’s right and good in the world, and don’t shy away from those tasks.

The reason for this is actually the theme of the movie Kick Ass. The lead character asks, “Why do millions of people like superheroes, but nobody becomes one? You’d think that someone would try?” So the lead character decides to become a superhero and through so doing, becomes a legend that creates a loyal following. His life expands dramatically for the better because of his decision as he becomes the vehicle that many people needed to find their own inner courage.

That is the lesson of the movie Kick Ass, and in a way why my kids wanted me to see it. It was their way of thanking me for teaching them to be leaders, to not wait for someone else to tell them it’s OK to act, but to have the inner confidence to just act on their own initiative. It makes them proud to know that when they watch movies like Kick Ass, that it’s not just entertainment from the realm of fantasy for them, but is actually reflective of the values I’ve given them.

The movie ends with a very over-the-top tribute to all the great serials and spaghetti westerns I showed them in their youth, but unlike other kids and their dads who just turned off the TV and did something else we actually went out in the back yard and practiced those skills to apply in real life if need be.

We always got a lot of sidelong looks from people who would wonder why we seemed to always prepare for battle because we lived in suburban neighborhoods and such preparations seemed radical. They just didn’t see the need. I would get asked all the time, “Why do you wear camouflage pants, and heavy boots everywhere you go. Its 100 degrees outside, aren’t you hot?”

My answer was, “No I’m not hot. I wear boots everywhere because you never know when you might need to kick in a window, or climb over a fence, and I like to have a little armor on my legs and feet for those occasions.”

That is usually when the conversation would end. But what those people didn’t know was that two or three times a year, I would do just those very things on occasion. You see, the world is full of bullies, thieves, and con artists, and they are always looking to pray on the weak. And when I see it, I put a stop to it or at a minimum address it.

People ask me what my family thinks of all the controversial activities I find myself involved in and the answer was obvious in the type of presents they bought me, and the way they prepared my birthday party, with a superhero theme. I can’t think of a nicer thing to give me than their understanding and the evidence that they have learned what I sought out to teach them. They could easily complain that their dad is one of the most hated personalities in all of Cincinnati, but they don’t, because they know that the hatred comes from the same types of factions who hated Big Daddy in Kick Ass. And they let me know that they are as loyal to me now as young adults as they were when they were the age of Hit Girl. And that is the best gift I could receive for a birthday.

The reason more people don’t become superheroes, like it was asked in the movie Kick Ass is because it’s hard. Most everyone dreams of becoming one, but few people embrace the mentality to commit their entire lives to the act of fighting for justice. I taught my girls that they didn’t have to have special powers to be superheroes, just superhuman will, and a desire to never become complacent. As I watched Kick Ass I was very proud to know that my two daughters reminded me of Hit Girl especially at the end as she avenged her father Big Daddy in the film. It’s good to know who has my back and that they are prepared to do whatever it takes to live out their commitment to justice.

What a wonderful birthday!

Going on the Attack: Being one of the strong–living to the fullest

It’s my birthday today and I’m going to enjoy it the way I enjoy most—reading. One of my favorite authors of late is Ayn Rand, the beleaguered woman from the past who dared to challenge 10,000 years of human thinking and upset the apple cart of civilization tremendously. I find her work wonderfully refreshing and most enjoyable.

But life for Ayn was not a pleasant experience. There is no question that her novels directly took on the philosophies of Plato, Kant and many others expanding to a level that Friedrich Nietzsche danced around before going mad—Ayn Rand figured it out without madness. And her stories are wonderful contributions to human culture that hold the key to mankind’s future. But it took almost 50 years for society to begin to appreciate Ayn Rand which was much to her personal distress. This was the topic of discussion with Barbara Branden at a talk about the 50th anniversary of Atlas Shrugged and in general the disappointment Ayn Rand had in realizing that the men and women of her books stayed silent and did not come to her defense when it counted most, during her lifetime.

Two weeks ago an angry letter writer sent me a note letting me know that their beloved teachers union was going to expose me as a woman hating, Ayn Rand worshipper, and that the power of my influence was coming to an end. My response to this person was how could I hate women if I love Ayn Rand? But what I didn’t tell the letter writer was that I have not always known about Ayn Rand, yet I have found that my own thoughts about things almost directly parallel hers, and I arrived at those conclusions without ever reading a single word of her work, but in discovering the “truth” through observation. I arrived at the truth through deductive reasoning, and no matter how one arrives at the truth, it is what it is. When a mind arrives at the truth whether it be me, or Ayn Rand, or some other thinker—it has it’s characteristics of reality that are unmistakable and universally experienced.

I have asked the same questions that Ayn Rand asked, “Where are the strong among us? Why do men desire to become intoxicated when it reveals they are weak? Why do humans pander to their weaknesses when it is strength that should be valued? Why do humans worship sacrifice as one of their highest concepts when it’s the ability to create that advances all life? And why do men and women who comprehend the answers to these questions hide from the parasites of the world?” Rand in the video above questioned why the “men of the mind” did not come to her rescue when she faced an angry world of parasites who wanted to silence her. It is because the “men of the mind” chose to stay hidden like her characters in Atlas Shrugged. They retreated to their condos, their books—to their solitude so to avoid the parasites of existence, and they did not come out just because Ayn Rand wrote a book to motivate them. They simply did as she suggested in Atlas Shrugged, they “quit the world.”

I haven’t been so lucky to free my mind with such surrender. As I recently read Leonard Peikoff’s book on Objectivism I discovered that I virtually held almost every concept of that philosophy word for word, but my arrival there was not by any guidance. It was by a quest of the truth even when the world said to behave otherwise. This tendency of mine has caused me a lot of trouble—and I mean————-A LOT OF TROUBLE. But I never understood why, since my intentions were ALWAYS to be good, and do what’s right.

When I was growing up and going to Sunday School at the age of 6 to 7 years old I used to get into terrible trouble when we’d sing the song–

“Jesus loves me! This I know,
For the Bible tells me so;
Little ones to Him belong,
They are weak but He is strong.
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
Yes, Jesus loves me!
The Bible tells me so.”

I would stop singing the song on that fourth line and my Sunday school teacher would berate me. “Rich Hoffman—you have to sing the whole song. Everyone else is!”

I’d say, “but it’s a lie—I’m not weak.”

“We are all weak and we need the grace of our lord to prop us up in times of weakness,” she’d say to me.

“I don’t have moments of weakness,” I’d say. Then I’d be punished and the teacher would tell my parents what a bad boy I was in class.

This went on for the next 11 years at my church and I never yielded, and they never gave up trying to convince me otherwise. I recently went back to that church and one of the older women there who remembered me from those days said, “You were the troubled one,” referring to my siblings who didn’t resist authority the way I did.

I had the same trouble in public school as has been well documented here. I never had a hard time understanding what the teachers were trying to say. I had a difficulty allowing my time to be imprisoned by the teachers and students personal limitations—since public school is built around a mediocre life approach–I thought they were stealing my time, and I treated them as though they were running a prison.

In my private life, I have had nothing but trouble interacting with the limitations most people place on themselves. I asked many times where the men and women of strength were, just as Barbara described above. Again, many of my stories are reported here at Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom.

My hunger for strength in human character took me to the work of Nietzsche, specifically his great book Thus Spoke Zarathustra. My oldest daughter who has watched me intensely for many years noted all the conflicts I’ve had and once she became older I explained to her that “most of society wants to place shackles upon your mind. They do not want to see you pull too far out in front of them. They do not want you to make them feel guilty for being less than they know they should be, so they throw stones and attempt to beat you into submission. That is when I use their skin as a flag on our flagpole.” She understood the context of my comments because she’s been there and seen how difficult it’s been, and I didn’t want her to feel she had to surrender her life to the parasites of existence. Additionally I told her “I don’t know how this ends, this line of thinking I’m on. Most people who think the way I do go mad since their version of reality and the reality of the rest of the world are so far apart.”

Nietzsche went crazy just a few years after he wrote Thus Spoke Zarathustra. Many will say the disease of his mind was natural, but I believe that if the mind and body finds itself overwhelmed by too many contradictions with reality the thinking mind tends to turn on itself. The same thing happened to Robert Pirsig author of Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. Society put him through electro shock treatments in an attempt to “straighten out” his mind. He collapsed into himself by the weight of his realizations.

Recently a respected businessman asked me, “why do you do it—why do you find yourself in so many conflicts?”

I reported, “Because the conflicts deserve to be fought. Because not fighting them is yielding to the imposition of aggressors who do not know what they are doing. So to yield to them is to yield to evil.”

He’d said to me in reply, “Evil—really—nobody talks like that anymore. That kind of language is—out-of-touch.”

“By their doing,” I replied. “The way for evil to advance is for nothing to stand in its way. If they belittle attempts to identify them they remove their opposition from the battlefield.”

“But everything isn’t a fight,” the man said to me.

“Yes—it is,” I said.

I ran into Ayn Rand by reading a book about Ronald Reagan and was delighted to learn that Rand used similar terms that I loved from the work of Nietzsche. A few months after reading this Ronald Reagan book I heard from my friend Doc Thompson who was at 700 WLW at the time that one of Ayn Rand’s books was being made into a movie and that it would be considered a Tea Party friendly film. So I did what I could to help promote the film locally primarily through my site here at Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom generating enough interest to bring a presentation to Cincinnati since the production was on a limited distribution budget. That’s when I decided I needed to actually read the book of the film I was promoting, so I picked up Atlas Shrugged and read it. That was the first time I read Ayn Rand.

Needless to say I loved the book. I can understand why it’s the second most read book at the Library of Congress behind The Bible because it cuts to a truth that is missing from our human dialogue. I view Atlas Shrugged as the missing link in human understanding and is a paramount work of philosophy. I know that because I’ve read most of them. I can’t believe that I didn’t run into Ayn Rand sooner, but in some ways I’m glad I didn’t, because I find that her characters parallel my own experiences and have much more truth to me now. I don’t know that if I had run into Atlas Shrugged earlier, that my own experiences would be authentic to my life, but might reside in my mind as being parallel to the life of John Galt. Ironically when my son-in-law read Atlas Shrugged he told me that I reminded him of that iconic figure, and there is a part of my mind that finds that refreshing. There is a pride to be had when it’s realized that the life you’ve led reminds your son-in-law of such a character in an epic book. That means I must have been doing a great deal right along the way, and has given me a certain reassurance that my beliefs all along have been more than correct.

My emphasis on the value of Atlas Shrugged is due to the precise fact that I’ve read somewhere over 500 books and it is only Atlas Shrugged that offered a truth about life to the level I can validate proper and I’m glad I found it later than sooner. Not everyone will have the experience that I’ve had, since many would find my stance toward life uncomfortable. But due to my experiences, and feeling many times compelled to bend my will to those of the collective mindset around me, I can say with complete honesty that it is only John Galt who reflects accurately my own politics and life philosophy closer than any other character in literature. And it was a remarkable feat for Ayn Rand to capture such a concept in her mind.

I am glad to have read the work of Robert Pirsig before the work of Rand however, because it was Pirsig not Rand who explained why the character of John Galt is so proper, and ironically the goals I have set for myself my entire life is correct. Pirsig actually defined why Rand’s characters are proper in their outlooks on living—it is because they position their lives at the front of the “train” of thinking. Rand simply made the observation that certain types of people carried the world on their backs. Pirsig figured out why, even though it drove him to a level of insanity to arrive at those conclusions. But the concept itself was worth its weight in value upon the human race.

The mess the world currently finds itself in can be traced back to writers like Thomas More, H.G. Wells, Marx, Bernard Shaw and many, many others who shaped the modern world of progressive thought to the level it’s at today. Politicians followed those writers in forming their thinking and everything proceeds down hill from there. I became so fed up with that progressive world when a literary agent from Wilshire Blvd in Hollywood told me that my script The Lost Cannibals of Cahokia was “unrealistic, audacious, but was also breathtakingly exciting, yet way too political—that audiences would never be able to identify with the characters. You must rewrite more human weaknesses into these characters.” In anger I threw the script back on the shelf and dropped the pitch sessions where that particular script resides to this very day waiting for a time when movie producers come to understand the economic value of such characters. It can just sit there forever for as much as I care. CLICK HERE FOR MORE DETAIL. I knew at the time that I was right even though the whole industry told me I was wrong, and in the back of my mind I wondered if I was the only one in the world who thought this way—until I finally read Atlas Shrugged. It was then that I saw from a woman—a former Hollywood screenwriter, a glimpse from the past and future at the same time, into the minds of those who lived their lives in the front of Pirsig’s train, people like Walt Disney, Leonardo da Vinci, Albert Einstein, Warner Von Braun and the modern-day Richard Branson. The world should strive to be like those people, not the broken down derelict Karl Marx, Stalin, or Mao.

The failure is in the basic philosophies of the human race and through our history there have been moments of brilliance that has emerged, but overall, the basic idea of sacrifice before production has led mankind down a perilous path that has led to continuous cycles of cultures that rise, and fall based on their failed philosophies. I’ve seen it all my life, and people told me I was wrong. But it was they who were wrong, and it took me over 40 years to become comfortable with that conclusion. Along the way, I can honestly understand why Ayn Rand’s men and women of strength stayed hidden, because they did not want to be pummeled by the mob of collectivists and pulled to shreds by people who want to consume their essence simply because they are producers.

Atlas Shrugged as well as the other work of Ayn Rand is a uniquely American philosophy built upon the observations that made the United States the greatest country on earth in the history of mankind. Her work is a direct challenge to the entire motivation of the human race and she offers the first valid solution to many of our social problems since the time of Aristotle. Naturally the people who have built their lives around the wrong philosophic principles will be upset, and they will fight for their right to be stupid, because it’s all they know. But I can personally validate the work of Ayn Rand and can see the uniqueness of it based on my personal observation. It has confirmed in me a lifetime of observation and asking the same questions Rand wondered when she published her epic book.

But I will take it one step further than she did, I will not assume that the strong men and women of the world will come out of their hiding places to rally together against the forces of evil—evil here being defined as a collectivist, parasitic society. I will instead push back against the fools without care as to their peril by myself if need be. I will no longer care what happens to those who place themselves in the way of goodness. I have seen too much evil committed on the good intentions of the many only to be twisted to evil ends without understanding why it happened. “The good of the many do not out weigh the needs of the few,” sorry Spock. That method of thinking does not work, it has never worked, and it will never work. I’m not going to go along with it any longer.

In my next 40 years I am not going to allow myself to be a target for the frustrations of the collective, as those who think like me have been for years, and why the human beings of exception hid in the darkness to let Ayn Rand take all the ridicule that she would take to her grave. One foot can crush a million ants, and that is the way to begin thinking of the power the individual has over all forms of collectivism. It may be true that they outnumber us—but they do not match our intellects, or our will. They are the living dead sacrificing one moment of their lives for the next only to end up at the end depleted by their masters, and that is not my path.

So on my birthday I will celebrate the words of Ayn Rand and let my own brain rest for the day and relish this personal declaration of independence. There is nothing wrong with challenging 10,000 or even 100,000 years of human dedication to the wrong philosophy if you can prove that it is wrong—and at age 44, I am convinced that it has been. And I’m not going to go along with it any longer. I’ve tried to get along for the sake of keeping the peace, and it hasn’t worked. I’ve found myself in endless conflict anyway. So appeasing the collectivists won’t bring about peace—all it does is allow evil to advance it’s position with my assistance—and that has to stop.

For those who don’t want to go through the trouble that I have described above, that I have experienced in my personal life, I’d suggest study in the philosophy of Objectivism as a starting point. That is the best way to get quickly to the side of righteousness, and the fast track to the next great movement upon the face of the earth—a philosophy that will endure well into the next 100,000 years—Objectivism.

Trayvon Martin: The grab for power on the back of tragedy

On purpose I have stayed away from commentary on the Trayvon Martin case where the young man was shot and killed in Sanford, Florida by George Zimmerman because I do not see the circumstances to be extraordinarily unusual from the dozens of other shootings that also occurred around that same time. The progressive knee-jerk of all shootings is to take away guns so the gangs, thugs and young people celebrating the “gangsta” mentality can kill each other with baseball bats and knives. The trouble with the progressive platform is that they helped created that “gang” culture with their policies of welfare and racial segregation for use in bloc voting. So they have helped create the environment that young Trayvon was just a participant. Young people mimic the culture that has been provided to them by pop culture, and these days pop culture heavily shaped by progressive politics says to wear your pants down around your knees, talk with heavy slang, and act like a “pimp daddy,” selling hoes on Washington D.C.’s K Street. I know hundreds of kids white and black that fit this description completely today. Its part of their culture and that culture is shaped by progressive politics.

(For a glance into this culture I’d invite you to check out the “Pimps and Hoes Society” and their United Kingdom party. http://www.pimpsandhoessociety.org.uk/ This is a direct result of progressive politics. And you wonder why kids are so confused.)

On the other hand I know the area of Sanford very well, and a gated community is that way for a reason. People value their properties, and they don’t want to walk outside and see kids cutting through their yards, or driving down the street playing loud music at crazy hours of the night. Property ownership is one of the cornerstones of our nation, and it should be respected. However, since progressive politics is just a thinly disguised attempt at socialism, private property is frowned upon. Private property is to be surrendered in a communist society, which is why progressive taxation on property is so aggressive. The progressive attempt is to encourage young people like Trayvon to not strive to have a house in a gated community, but to disrespect those who do, so all the gates of the world will come down, value for personal property will be eradicated, and everyone will look to government for their welfare checks. And this clash of cultures is fairly evident in Sanford that has a lot of retirees who want to live close to the Orlando area, but also has a lot of immigrant residences just looking for a foot into the American dream. And for those people, money is scarce and they envy those who have it. I was at a Piggly Wiggly in that area a few years ago when a group of 5 youths came into that grocery store while I was waiting for my wife to come out. All 5 boys looked like they were dressed for a Spike Lee movie and one boy had his pants pulled down so far that he had to hold them in place with his left hand. I watched him with great humor as he tried to open his car door while holding a bag of beverages in his right hand knowing his pants would fall down if he let go with his left. The gated communities are there to keep kids like that from vandalizing their homes and roaming across their back yards while they enjoy the fruits of their labor.

George Zimmerman was protecting that “gated” community concept by following around a suspicious character which turned out to be Trevon Martin. The two eventually had a scuffle and Zimmerman shot Trayvon probably because Zimmerman was losing the fight. I personally think Zimmerman should have used non-lethal weapons to incapacitate Trevon on his watch patrol. Resorting to a gun that only has a lethal option is very limiting in these kinds of conflicts, but listening to the circumstances around Zimmerman, he sounds like a typical mall cop, he was hungry to show his authority. I’ve also seen a lot of fights in parking lots and watched cops arrive on the scene ready to shoot everybody in an act of overreaction especially if one of the fighters had a gun. The panic is a cover for their real desire to fire their weapons and take the life of another human being. And I think deep down inside Zimmerman had a desire to prove to himself that he could make a decision like that—which is a common fantasy among young males. In fact, Mr. Progressive politics himself, Teddy Roosevelt signed up to charge San Jaun Hill in Cuba just so he could “kill a man” so this isn’t anything new. That may be a difficult reality for all the social engineers reading this and wondering how I could say such a thing to understand, but those types are simply out-of-touch as to what drives a young man.

Of course there are better ways to prove manhood, but in a culture of progressivism that is taking the human race backwards, toward a more tribe village mentality, they will discover that the need for violent conflicts will actually increase. This is the result of Hillary Clinton’s “it takes a village.” This is also why her husband Bill cheated on her insistently, because that is the village (communist) idea of no property values and shared sacrifice. It is progressive politics that makes these primitive desires worse, not better.

The proper thing for Zimmerman would have been to use a non-lethal martial art weapon or mace to incapacitate Trevon and if the young man attempted to use lethal force then to resort to the “Stand Your Ground Law” and use the firearm. There were so many options that weren’t used, and again, I blame progressive politics for preaching a message of peace, love, and charity—because these two young men did not know of any option besides fists and guns, and that is a breakdown in our culture. It is in the progressive desire to eradicate violence that they have not allowed young people to learn the art of conflict properly, because unfortunately, in any world at any time in history where some people function as a parasite on a human population, conflicts will occur.

The incident was sad, and a failure from all parties involved. But the situation become even sadder when the parasites discussed above saw that Trayvon was a black youth, and decided that they could capitalize on the situation and advance their own quests for power. That’s when they called for boycotts, and a national firestorm erupted over the last couple of weeks into what has become a joke—watching grown men and women who lack the fundamental principles of conduct in their own lives play into the parasitic apparatus of the Black Panthers, Jessie Jackson, Al Sharpton and many others who sought to use the death of a young man to get them leverage over the human race in the manner of their Civil Rights idol Martin Luther King. But unlike King who was genuinely pointing out a lack of equality that all men and women under the Constitution deserved, the radicals who came after him disguised their message of equality to hide their own desire for power and control. The parasites want to see their name in a history book, they want to force further legislation of a progressive nature and they sought to use Trayvon to their evil ends.

You don’t see these parasites come out over black on black violence in South Chicago and you don’t hear them berating modern slavery in Africa, but if it’s a gated community in Florida and a black youth is involved, then they will ignore all the other death and mayhem that is occurring daily and focus on this one child because it suits their political objectives—and that makes them the worst kind of looters.

The looters in this case are those who have sought to use emotion to defy logic and to pass new laws and social precedence that will advance a progressive agenda. We have watched this process for years undermine the American way of life and rather than looking at Zimmerman and Trayvon with sympathy the looters actually seek to change the direction of society with a group “collective” hug. The looters all want to be a village chief or the king of a land and wish themselves heroes to save the day on the backs of Treayon’s death. You can see them in the governing bodies, media, entertainment and in Civil Rights advocates whose goals are not equality, but progressive advancement.

The looter—the social parasites of emotion do not care for Trayvon Martin or his family. Their outward concern is purely cosmetic and designed to conceal their real intentions, which is more power and prestige. And sadly, as many of them deep down inside consider themselves to be good little socialists working on behalf of the progressive cause, their actions are strangely capitalist. Only they don’t seek to make a new product, or create a new technology with their capitalist tendency, but to steal power while a nation cries and cannot see through its tears at what they are really up to. They seek to “capitalize” on our misery.

Unlike Sanford, Florida we cannot put up gates around our homes high enough to hold back the kinds of looters that have shown themselves in the Trayvon Martin tragedy, because these parasites will attempt to feed off the very air we breathe if we let them. They do not value personal property, individual sovereignty, or rational values. They are progressive socialists who wish with every cell in their bodies to make the United States into a communist nation under the flag of tribal collectivism, and it is they who are the real menace to our way of life.

But The United States Constitution protects us from these parasites if we allow it to. We are only compelled to listen to them if we allow our emotions to rule above our logic, and their words only have power if we let them. Ultimately we have protections against their encroachment and if we could only avoid the guilt they attempt to use on our minds to sap our strength and resolve, we could vanquish them into the oblivion of irrelevancy forever and hold our ground by a firm reliance on the Second Amendment. And at that time the grief that Trayvon Martin deserved, and the ego building that George Zimmerman needed could be established so that young people might learn an important lesson from this tragedy and not be doomed to repeat it because the problem was misdiagnosed by the collective will of our society led by looters and grandstanders.

Oh–you want more proof? You think I’m kidding you? You think all this is a conspiracy, because the knowledge is not convenient? Then read what’s at the link below and you’ll see how it was all set up in 1958 to create the world we are finding ourselves dealing with today. I’ve made it easy for you. All you have to do is look for yourself.

The Shadow Party: George Soros wants to take over the world

Dear reader—you know of people in your own community that have so much money they influence the behavior of the entire population. Where there are such people there are always a string of bottom feeders that follow these people around like dogs hoping to catch some of the table scraps around a dinner table. We call those types “ass kissers” and we despise them because we sense that they undermine an honest society built on hard work and ethical behavior. You also know that in your place of employment, there are always many such types—people who are willing to kiss a little ass, to get into the good graces of their financial superiors. Why then is it so difficult to comprehend that there are billionaire types who wish themselves to be kings, who would inflict these tendencies on a massive national scale?

Well, there are many such personalities in the world who see the United States as the ultimate target to suppress for their twisted aims, and they have the money to buy enough ass kissers to pull off a shadow party of unelected officials to carry out the aims of their desired dictatorships. One such person is George Soros, the New York billionaire and media tycoon who was the focus of the 2006 book Shadow Party by Richard Poe and David Horowitz

I have seen everything that was described in that video happen up close on the local level. I have seen the powerful influence of would be kings and queens pull the strings of perceived power to completely manipulate the media, and large factions of ass kissers against a target in the way of their aims. So I have no problem understanding how George Soros and a small group of philanthropists would desire such a thing on a global scale and actually pull it off. All it requires is a few ass kissers to ignore the truth and play their role in the insurrection. It happens in your community, it happens in your work place, and it happens in your country. All that is required for the evils of these financially powerful dictators to execute their plans of destruction is for good people to ignore their actions and keep quiet. And in our federal government there are so many ass kissers who want the money of George Soros that they will gladly trade the ethics of their personal integrity in for the ease of money that Soros throws on the ground like we might throw food to a dog.

Anyone who blindly trusts that there are not such people who openly advocate complete insurrection and massive enslavement of the human population are naive fools. All one has to do is read a Shakespearian play to understand the level of manipulation the human mind is capable of, because although the plays are fictional, they resonate because there is a truth to them that the human race understands. My favorite among all Shakespeare’s plays is Titus Andronicus. The level of deceit shown in that play is particularly brutal, but much to my experience, entirely accurate. Most people don’t act with the brutality and violence displayed in Titus Andronicus—but they think about it in the quiet of their minds when they think nobody is looking.

George Soros is not alone in his attempt to become a world-wide king where presidents and media personalities dance from his fingertips. He expects such things because his money has bought him the right to “rule” in the European fashion of servitude. And he has stated with his own mouth that he desires the United States to be out of his way. So he has created a shadow party that actually legislates behind the scenes.

This is not so difficult to understand if you know what to look for. Soros became wealthy due to capitalism; however, because he wants to maintain his power base, he seeks to eliminate any competition to his throne of power by eliminating capitalism from his competitors. So Soros is advocating progressivism to the mindless dogs that follow so close to his heels. Progressivism is evil. It’s disguised as “fair,” and “just” but the essence of it is parasitic. The advancement of progressivism by George Soros creates a society of parasites who feed off of him, so he can control their behavior like a king. It’s that simple. It’s a military maneuver and is logical from a strategic standpoint.

Where Americans go wrong is in the belief that people like Soros are not so diabolical and power-hungry, because the typical American isn’t. It is difficult to understand how power-hungry some of these wealthy people are, and to what measure they are willing to inflict their vision upon the world, no matter how distorted or tyrannical. I got a taste of how America sees the world during the recent Kentucky-Louisville basketball game during the Final Four. My wife and I spend entire days without turning on the TV and if we do, it’s the news we watch. I don’t watch much from the big four networks so I don’t often see the commercials, or even the slant of the modern broadcast programming. Most of the time she and I read for 10 to 12 hours in a sitting. In fact yesterday, my daughter left the house at 9 AM to work and do what young people do with their friends, and when she returned at 10:30 PM thirteen and a half hours later, I was in the exact same place doing what I was doing when she left. The 13 hours flew by as my mind was occupied in study and thought, which is how I like it. But apparently the rest of the world doesn’t, because they are watching all the crazy television shows that have obvious messages of progressivism laced within them. While watching that basketball game it was clear how distracted most of America is these days on images of enticement projecting progressive philosophy to a hungry public. It’s easy to see for me, because I don’t normally watch television. But many people do, so they turn on the television, and turn off their brains. That’s when dictators like Soros do their work.

America won’t tend to itself. The ideas that created the United States Constitution came from the 17th century discovery that man has rights and were invented when John Locke observed the behavior of the original pirate of the Caribbean Henry Morgan. That was the time and place that America was born in ideas that fleshed out over the next one hundred years and were captured on paper by the Founding Fathers. People like George Soros wish the world to be like it was before this discovery. He wants to be just another king in a long line of dictators. He doesn’t want freedom for mankind. He wants enslavement. And he is using the progressive philosophy of the parasite to undermine the discovery that man has rights.

To see it you only have to look around at the ass kissers, the suck-ups, the brown-nosing bastards, the back-stabbing diabolical menaces among you. Those who seek to earn their way not with ideas of their own or work of their hands, but of favors built from the table scraps left behind by the rich and powerful, the type of people who will do tricks for their masters like dogs, who simply roll over upon command, play dead, or will leap when told for a tiny morsel of food. Presidents have shown they will do such tricks for their masters, congressman, senators, lobbyists, businessmen, union thugs, media personalities, public school officials, trustees, commissioners and the like have all shown that they will eat out of the hand of the wealthy upon command and do simple tricks like a dog. They will speak when told, and lay at the feat of their masters in exchange for a table scrap.

So why is it so hard to believe that George Soros wants to take over the world and enslave the human race? Dear reader, are you so happy to surrender your rights as a human being in exchange for the tiny scraps of food your master will give you? Apparently—yes.

I watched with great concern last week when the Mega Millions Jackpot went up over $640 million. I had several people approach me about getting in on a ticket pool. One such pool had 91 people in it, and I told everyone no. My reason was that I would actually feel bad getting money for no productivity. I reasoned that I did not see myself as a slave, and that the money would not earn me my freedom from any shackles. It would make me feel cheap and a pawn to a system that is disguised as just another tax. I got the typical blank looks of confusion. On Friday the night of the big drawing, my wife and I went to dinner. On the way, we gassed up at a local convenience store and noticed the tremendous line from people buying their lottery tickets. We discussed it for a moment and both agreed that buying a ticket would be equivalent to selling out, and that we refused to participate. On our way to dinner we compared the people buying those lottery tickets to a dog that has a tendency to run away if the door is left open, or a leash isn’t tied securely to their necks—or the invisible fence is left off. The people scouring to buy those lottery tickets wanted freedom, freedom from the George Soros’s in their lives. They wanted freedom from the suck-ups or from being a suck-up in order to secure a livelihood. That’s why they bought a lottery ticket, because they felt trapped and money was their ticket to freedom.

My wife and I ate our dinner and based on the conversation around us, we were the only people in West Chester to not have a lottery ticket, so if this were a true democracy, we were in the wrong. But thankfully it’s not. I’m not compelled to do something just because the masses are fools. As an American, I don’t have to buy a lottery ticket to generate additional tax revenue for more looters in the system. I don’t owe George Soros anything, not even my time and attention. And there is no amount of money a guy like him could dangle in front of my face to get me to do a trick for him. Soros could literally put a billion dollars in front of my face and I wouldn’t take it. Because by taking the money, you give Soros and those like him power over you. To be honest, I’ve had many bribes placed before me over the years and I have turned every single one of them down. 100% of the time. Bribes to shut up, bribes to comply, bribes to advance, bribes to submit, it’s impossible to be an adult and not have those bribes presented before you at some point. But my life, my time, and my energy are not for sale. I own them, and nobody else. And I have little respect for those who do not have such convictions. And I have even less respect for those who will trade their freedoms away to someone like George Soros for the price of a table scrap—and to me even a million dollars is a scrap, because if it’s not earned with your hands, your mind, or your essence in any way, It’s a handout—and therefore a shackle of serfdom that is unforgivable and a menace to everything it means to be human.  Lessons to be learned for sure from the great work of Titus Andronicus.

The Tyranny of Government: Justin Binik-Thomas tells his story

When I heard from some residents in our sacred Liberty Twp, Ohio that Justin Binik-Thomas, founding member and leader of the Cincinnati Tea Party, and author of the book Profit is Not a Dirty Word came up on an IRS questionnaire to various liberty groups about their affiliation with him, something was amiss. My buddy Doc Thompson up in WXYT in Detroit had Justin on Thursday March 22nd, 2012 to discuss this compelling story, and a few days later Justin came to our Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom gathering which specializes in just this type of treachery. That is when I heard from Justin’s own mouth the tale of sedition that many of us long suspected—that the IRS is targeting leaders of the liberty movement in hopes to beat back the advances they’ve made so the status quo of government mediocrity can continue forever—and the IRS is acting out its role as the hammer of government designed to put dissidents in their place.

Of course I can only speculate into the intentions of the IRS since they hold all the cards and would be unlikely to ever admit anything I’m about to say in a court of law. The IRS holds all the cards because we let them have the entire deck, stole from us like thieves in the night, and now in a game where Tea Party groups are trying to peacefully bring government back into some sense of fiscal responsibility, the push-back from government has been a crack-down on FCC license holders to quell “hate speech” otherwise known as the “truth,” to use the labor unions as arms of thuggery in an organized crime type racket to advocate demonstrations among the various “occupy” groups all over the nation, and to use the IRS to audit and harass individuals the government considers “trouble makers” and put fear into the people who look up to those leaders.

Justin Binik-Thomas is a resident of the City of Deer Park, Ohio and a graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University (MS) and The University of Cincinnati (AA, BS). In addition to working in the medical industry, he specializes in media relations and communications as owner/consultant with Conservative Media Group, LLC. As stated, Justin was a leader of the Cincinnati Tea Party and a founding member. But the young man who sat with me during our Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom meeting was hardly a trouble making—rebel rousing—tax evading dissident. He was cerebral, well-spoken—well mannered and displayed all the typical signs of an author that is intelligent, aware, inquisitive, and he possessed a perpetual hunger for the truth. You can see a copy of Justin’s book at the link below, as well as the stories so far covering this issue. As I write this, USA Today is set to cover it in the upcoming week.

You cannot put a godless heathen on the stand in a court of law and expect the truth, because the heathen does not believe in any god, so to ask the question, “Do you solemnly swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth so help you God,” means nothing, because many who function in our current government no longer understand the meaning of most of the words in that sentence. So I would never expect a truthful statement from any government official in any capacity. If they were asked whether the IRS was openly harassing Justin Binik-Thomas because they wanted to send a message to other members of the Tea Party Movement of who the boss is—the IRS—the Federal government more specifically, then I’d never expect them to admit so much. I would expect public relations firms to be hired to convince the media that people like Justin and the “radicals” of the Tea Party movement are extremists and should not be listened to while at the same time harassing the leadership of such groups with mind numbing paperwork designed to limit the movement of such leaders so they waste their time filling out forms, and not writing books countering the socialist push the government seems committed to as a public platform.

But you don’t need anybody to admit anything. As always, actions speak the truth that the mouth doesn’t say. And the actions here are open harassment of a young man so to send a warning shot to every Tea Party member in southern-Ohio. That message is, “If you mess with us, we’ll cut your noogies off.” The questionnaire sent to the multiple liberty groups Justine spoke about was a warning as well as it was intelligence gathering. It sent two messages; it said that if you wish to mess with the federal government that you will be targeted, just as Justin has been. Since he’s a leader among Tea Party people (this is how the government thinks) look what we can do to him. We will hunt down your family, and friends. There will be nowhere to hide. And the second message is the show of force behind the rule of law to comply with their mandate.

Justin didn’t say it when he spoke to me—he was genuinely concerned as to why he was a target. I understood his feelings. Having a target painted on your back is a disconcerting feeling and he was in good company. Of the 22 people in attendance at our Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom gathering 8 of them have suffered similar harassments in the past and knew instantly what Justin was going through. And we’re not just talking about mild harassments, but extended jail time—deliberate arm twisting to gain testimony. The same practice the IRS is using to send a “subtle” message to liberty groups using Justin as the sacrificial victim.

Well, I think the IRS is completely illegal according to the principles established by our country. It’s a degrading, tyrannical force that should be abolished completely. It is used to steal money from everyday American’s to redistribute into enterprises that I would term evil, funding abortion, funding corruption, paying high salaries to worthless federal officials who in turn spend back on K-street prostitutes advancing the sex traffic industry and I personally don’t want any of my money to go to those activities, but the more money I make, the more those thieves take, and they use the IRS audit and strong-arm tactics to do it granted to them by the law—laws created by the thieves who have made theft legal for their benefit. You can read my thoughts about the IRS and my friend Hickory who simply refused to participate in any of these extortion measures at the link below. Things didn’t go well for him, but he also exposed their true intentions. (Very interesting story.)

https://overmanwarrior.wordpress.com/2012/02/08/the-life-of-old-hickory-so-you-want-to-stop-paying-taxes/

Just because a person is your neighbor and wears business attire when they go to work, it doesn’t make them less of a thief if they work for an organization that openly harasses citizens using the tax code to beat people into compliance. And that is what the IRS is, a money grabbing entity designed to perform legalized theft, and enforcement of their ability to steal through force and intimidation if necessary. Again, nobody would ever admit so much in a court of law, but their actions demonstrate their intentions.

People ask me often why I don’t sell commercial space on this site of Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom, since it is rather popular and could probably generate a healthy revenue if I so desired. My reason is that once you bring money into the mix, the IRS gains control of your ability to produce. That’s why they are called The Internal Revenue Service. Its revenue for the government—revenue for the looters and moochers, the legal thieves and the scum bags who hide behind the laws they create to extort money from our wallets. And I will not give them access into my life by making more money than I need to live because in my experience with them in the past, they only seek to steal it anyway. So working to make more money serves them, not me. And the moment I take revenue from this site, you can bet they will be at my door looking for their take, just like a mobster. Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom is not about money, it’s about philosophy, an American philosophy, and the IRS has not yet figured out how to tax—philosophy—the ideas that come from our minds. If they could, they would. That’s why at meetings like the one we had where I spoke to Justin we took no money for donations, we accept no money for the web work, we don’t even discuss generating revenue, because the moment money exchanges hands in a donation of any kind, the IRS has legal rights to your organization and are free to enforce the power of the government against you at their discretion.

I think Justin Binik-Thomas is being used as an example of what can and will happen if the liberty groups do not evaporate back into the shadows. That was my first thought when I heard Justin’s story over a month ago, and now hearing it from Justin himself—I’d bet money on it. The IRS is flexing its muscle and showing what its functioning patterns are. It’s showing what it believes, and who it works for. It’s also showing its future intentions.

When a robber holds up a victim at gunpoint and says, “Hands up where I can see them, give me all of your money,” the robber wants to know that the victim will not attempt violence to defend themselves or their property. They want to see an act of compliance and eliminate the danger of defensive action. The robber wants unmolested access to the victim preferably without violence so they can take the money and leave unharmed. The IRS is doing the same thing to liberty groups using Justin as the gun. They are saying that if you continue, you will be harassed and we will come after you and your families. See—we are doing it to this nice, young man who is one of your leaders. We’ll do it to you too.

It is for these reasons that any president who supports the IRS as it is now are part of the problem, every senator, congressman, lobbyists, intern, news reporter, stripper, prostitute, pimp daddy, (they’re all the same to me) who work in Washington and support the coercion methods of the IRS is supporting open tyranny of the American people by theft they legalized under penalty by law—law they created to means they created—for their personal benefit. And the IRS thinks nothing of ruining the lives of anyone who stands in their way to get what they want, even if it’s a nice young man like Justin Binik-Thomas who is simply asking questions, writing books, and desiring reforms that don’t run up the national debt to over $15 trillion dollars ruining the lives of his children’s future. If a person like Justin is the enemy of the IRS and the federal government—then we’re all in trouble.

But we know who the bad guys really are.  And we’re not it.  Unlike other groups, the IRS won’t be able to do anything to this one, and that’s a reality they better get used to.   So no matter what happens Justin, we have your back.  You can count on that much in this life.  https://overmanwarrior.wordpress.com/2012/03/25/overmanwarriors-wisdom-gathering-rebellion-taxes-and-fighting-back/
