Attack of the “Salami Slicers”: A brief history of Communist infiltraton in America

I am actually surprised when I meet a teacher or a college professor who does not believe in communism in some form or another, because most of them are what the KGB called “salami slicers.” “Salami slicers” is a term that was used in the 1969 publication by Victor Vashi called Red Primer for Children and Diplomats that described the peaceful coexistence between Communists and their opposition, while the true intention was to destroy their opposition with a two-way sneak attack. In the meat industry tiny parasites known as infiltrators are put inside the salami and eat out the center of the meat while everything looks normal on the outside.  In Vashi’s example this is what has been done–Communist infiltrators have been injected inside American culture while the Communists work on the outside. You can see the entire work of Vashi at this link:

http://thepeoplescube.com/peoples-tools/red-primer-for-children-and-diplomats-t2223.html

That link shows to what extent Communists wish to rule the world and in America, the “salami slicers” came from teachers educated in the 1950’s and 1960’s by implanted KGB agents. These impressionable youth who declared their lives to the art of teaching are today’s “progressive” which is simply a mask for Communism. That is why I am generally excited when I meet a teacher who is not a Communist/progressive. Most of them are softer variations of people like Bill Ayers shown here in a video just a few days old from the University of Oregon.

People like Ayers was created by their generation with KGB infiltration that McCarthy tried to warn us about in the 1950’s, which had been taking place right out in the open and everyone knew it. Before the “salami slicers” cut into the core of America and robbed our youth of their ability to spot a threat from within their midst’s, people like Bill Ayers had found themselves corrupted through the music, the literature, and the propaganda seeping subtly through the Hollywood entertainment machine. There were hearings to root out these “salami slicers” and a group called the “Hollywood Ten” went to jail for their Communist involvement. Sadly many Americans at the time believed that Communism should have been protected under the First Amendment, but those unfortunate souls did not understand the level of evil that Communism had in mind for America. So many came to the defense of the “Hollywood Ten” and would continue to support progressive causes for years thereafter. Bill Ayers is of this group of activists who decided that America was an imperial power that must be brought down. Little did he and thousands of other hippie, education types know, they were carrying out a plot designed by global Communists to end the American way of life.

I was lucky to grow up in a time when the schools had not yet been so infiltrated with “salami slicers” that people still were able to think and process information. When I was in my teenage years, Rocky 4 was all about fighting the great Soviet threat, and the movie Red Dawn showed Soviets landing in America and taking over our country. I remember vividly how these anxieties felt. As a kid I was a tremendous fan of the films by John Milius and Red Dawn was the film of my generation that attempted to let society know they needed to beware of the great Red threat of Communism.

But the threat did not come from the skies with parachutes and the occupation of troops on American soil. Instead they landed in America through our colleges and infested our youth with dreams of Communism and an end to imperial America without realizing they were cheerleading for a larger imperial threat, the Soviet Union.

Under the guidance of Ronald Regan the Soviet Union spent themselves into oblivion attempting to keep up with the capitalism of America. The Soviet Union watched their country disintegrated under financial collapse, a plan they are now using on America right now. But they did not worry, because the idea of Communism had already been planted, and the tactics outlined in the Red Primer for Children and Diplomats was well underway. Communism through the propaganda machine of the Soviet Union had spread into China, North Vietnam, North Korea, Central America and many Latin American countries to lesser degrees like Brazil and Venezuela along with Cuba directly to America’s south. These were the threats from the outside, the open Communist threats on the outside of the salami. They were the visible threat that America could send helicopters and troops to go and fight. But inside the salami were the “salami slicers” who were subverting American culture with teachers like Bill Ayers teaching our youth not to fight, to have a peaceful coexistence with the world, and to embrace global unification, to become pacifists. The goal of modern education was to create empty minds that would do what they were told and have the prime objectives to get drunk at BW3’s on a Saturday afternoon with friends and root for their favorite sports teams while the enemies of America ate away the inside of our country from within. The “salami slicers” have been busy for many years and have not just eaten away the meat of our country, but the brains of our people.

And little by little we have watched as our zombie-like American citizens sit by and drool from their mouths with inaction given to them in public education and their colleges where they cannot even recognize an enemy when they see it. Bill Ayers and his attackers of “salami slicers” have achieved much of what they set out to do nearly 50 years ago by the Communist desire to take over the entire planet. It’s happening right now with yet another news release of what is being planned for the American people revealed on the Alex Jones program.

Most of you reading this have probably never heard of Victor Vashi and his Red Primer for Children and Diplomats. You probably know very little about the McCarthy hearings but think they are bad because Matt Damon said they were bad, and you like Matt Damon—so whatever he says, you’ll believe. And you probably don’t know much about Bill Ayers, who just so happens to be a mentor to President Obama—the first President in American history who is obviously intent on fulfilling the goals of destroying the great American Empire once and for all, to fulfill a quest for global Communism that started before either one of those men were even born. They do what they do because they are “salami slicers” and their role was told in Vashi’s short comic produced from 1967-1969 in an attempt to wake Americans up to the destruction that was coming from within. But as we see in the world around us, the “salami slicers” have already eaten out much of the heart that was America.

That is why I am surprised to find a teacher in the education industry these days who is not a “salami slicer.” The sheer numbers of participants who openly advocate global socialism as a path to tyrannical Communism is just simply baffling unless it is considered that in universities all across America during the time of the McCarthy hearings of the 1950’s, the seeds were successfully planted in our education system, and after only 40 short years Communist infiltrators managed to do what trillions of dollars in military might could never buy them, a subversion of capitalism and the lingering strategy to convince all Americans to trade their freedoms in for chains, so that their “safety” could be guaranteed for the future. The emphasis of “safety” over “freedom” is the ultimate work of the “salami slicers,” leaving no core for America to grab on to. Like Bill Ayers said just a few days ago, it’s just a matter of time.

But not all of us have allowed these “salami slicers” into our minds to eat our brains. And so long as that is the case, there is always hope.  Personally, when I look for hope, I almost always turn to Uncle Walt.  Think of him next time you visit Disney world, or watch the great films produced by his famous company which is putting out Avengers this weekend.  His company may be “modernized” these days with employees who view themselves as “progressives” but good ol’ Disney was from a time before the “salami slicers” attacked, and he was one of the first to call them what they really were.  That’s how we can know just how much of our core has been eaten away, and why saying Communists have corrupted American culture is not a far off whim of fantasy, but a fact of sad reality displayed by the overwhelming evidence.

The “salami slicers” of your life are the people who tell you that this is all wrong, that this is all a right-winged conspiracy, that it’s “old-fashioned.” You can tell your enemy by those who use those types of words. They are your personal “salami slicers” and they are as common in your life as rain drops in a hurricane.

Lakota Wastes $100,000 on One Employee: A good article from Denise Wilson

Once again Denise Wilson of  The Pulse Journal shows that she is not eating out of the hand of the Lakota School System.  In my experience with Denise she has always been fair.  She’s been fair with me, and I think she has been fair with the school system.  Most recently though, she did a story on the outrageous sums of money that was spent on the Laura Kursman case which I’ve covered here extensively.  For my primary article on Laura’s case CLICK HERE.

But for the sake of credit to Denise Wilson’s article, here it is in case you have not yet seen it.  Just think how much tax money that was wasted on absolutely nothing–and the school did it for the same reason they do everything–it’s not their money, so it’s easy to spend.  And when they need more, they just twist the arm of the tax payers for more money.  Taxpayers of Lakota–look how the school system spends your money!

Meanwhile, Lakota is beginning their new “community engagement process”  CLICK HERE FOR MY TAKE.  Click the link below to see the report from Denise.

 http://www.pulsejournal.com/news/local-news/lakota-launches-community-engagement-process–1370142.html

The next levy campaign has officially began right on schedule, but at least you know dear reader–how and what Lakota spends its money on–and it isn’t kids.  It’s payoffs and hush money.  Just ask Laura Kursman.

The Kroger Survey: What do you think of Rich Hoffman?

Over the course of past school levy fights at Lakota I have been called, “mentally unstable,” a “wife beater,”(no basis in reality) a “psycho” and a “jackwagon” (whatever that is) – and a narcissist, among other things. These names came my way well before the release of my famous Enquirer article where I fired back at my political enemies by calling them “latte sipping prostitutes” which erupted into a glorified scandal all over Cincinnati. These names have been said about me for over two years now, and are now the source of my disapproval in funding my local school with even more taxes. When I first spoke out against the proposed levy in 2009-2010 I used moderate language that was quite respectful and found that I was called horrible names in online forums even then, which became so bad The Pulse Journal shut down their forum site. You can see some of these comments about me that took place recently on a site called Yappi where my name started coming up after the announcement of the Yes to Lakota Kids initiative. They have even went to the extent to describe me as another Timothy McVeigh which of course is the terrorist bomber who was convicted of blowing up the Oklahoma Federal Building. You can read all about it at the link below.

http://www.yappi.com/forums/showthread.php?t=236573&page=8&highlight=lakota+eas

At that link one posting jumped out at me as being particularly sensational. Apparently a person obviously close to the author went into the Kroger store in Liberty Twp and randomly asked people what they thought of me as they entered. The results of their “highly scientific” survey are below along with most of the original posting, which can be seen with all the other comments at the Yappi link. To my experience these comments represent very well the type of people who generally support school levies. Check it out:

What I now find funny, after opening up the Cincinnati Enquirer this morning is that the “No Lakota” group has dissociated itself from Hoffmann. Here is a bit more about that piece of news.

What is Mr. Hoffmann going to do now? It’s obvious that his level of intelligence is not up to a high standard. He also really seems to be mentally unbalanced. I fully believe that, as the mouthpiece for “No Lakota”, Mr. Hoffmann has been a paid spokesperson/lobbyist for the group. With the amount of time that he put into his efforts to defeat the levy coupled with the writing of his blog, he would seem to have time for little else – at least not a real job. I hope he doesn’t show up to any job interviews wearing his “wife beater” shirt. Poor little Rich is going to have to get a real job now. No more drawing a salary as a lobbyist.

I agree that there needs to be something done to address school funding issues. The problem of school funding affects all districts in Ohio. The larger districts are particularly affected. What I’ve never been able to understand about the “No Lakota” group is why some of their energy, as well as Mr. Hoffmann’s, weren’t channeled toward lobbying to make changes at the state level. The “No Lakota” group was founded by real estate people (Mark Sennet and others) and it would seem to me that they would realize the importance of a strong school system and what type of positive impacts it has on property values. Meanwhile, those that voted against the levy based on the advice of a “psycho” spokesperson probably didn’t realize that the value of their home and property will probably take a bigger hit than the additional tax dollars that they would be paying. If these real estate people were serious about having a positive impact on the real estate values in West Chester and Liberty Townships they would be trying to implement change at the state level.

In closing, I am going to list the results of an experiment that someone did at a Kroger store in Liberty Township. I thought this was interesting and it will give you a good idea of what a lot of people think about Mr. Hoffmann. You’ve all heard of word association games. Random people entering Kroger were asked to say the first thing that came to their mind when they heard the name of “Rich Hoffmann.” Many did not know who he was and some did not care to participate. A pretty good number of people did contribute. Here are some of the responses:

– Little man
– Straw man
– Genius (this guy was incoherent and wore a “wife beater” shirt similar to what Hoffmann wears on his videos)
– He’s a dolt
– Destructive to our community
– He has Napoleon’s Complex
– A little man with a little brain
– A smart guy (this guy also looked like a productive member of society. He appeared to be drunk at 1:00 in the afternoon on a Saturday)
– I’d love to go mano-a-mano with him (I echo these sentiments – with or without the bullwhip!)
– What an idiot
– An ugly dude with an ugly agenda
– He really misogynic. I’m surprised the guy is married. I feel sorry for his wife
– Another guy wearing a “Hoffmann wife beater shirt” that didn’t comment but gave a thumbs-up
– He’s a really piece of work. The guy is a psycho
– The guy is a tool and a jackwagon

There were a lot more similar comments.

It is because of people like that, that I am now against public education, and against the levy system. The more I have learned the less I desire to support it with the taxes I already pay, let alone more. For me it started with a desire to just control costs. But as time went on and I read these kinds of comments about me I have decided to find every way possible to withdrawal any financial support from their organizations. I don’t want one dollar of my tax money to go to any employee or any supporters of a school system who writes and believes these types of things about me—who will go to a Kroger on a Saturday afternoon and attempt to smear my name.

Events like that survey did get back to me in the late days of January and early February and my response was well noted and appropriate. If it’s good for them, it’s good for me. But to call me a known terrorists and right-winged extremist is quite a stretch, which was said about me later on that particular thread. To attempt to paint me as an extremist who will bomb buildings and lash out at the Federal government with violence is precisely how the progressive party of public schools and liberal politics work when they find they can’t argue an issue because the facts are not on their side. They are the reasons for my desire to cut off funding to such organizations completely.

The acts I preach are not of violence against some entity like the government for public school, unless attacked first. Instead I seek to make tax payers aware that they hold all the cards and that they fund all this nonsense. For most people they fund their public schools not because they want to take care of tomorrow’s youth, or desire to be esteemed members of their communities. They do it so they don’t get ridiculed by political terrorism such as a person who goes to Kroger on a Saturday to ask people what they think of their political enemies.

Nobody on their side of the political aisle can explain to me why I am compelled to help them cover the cost of their child’s education. I don’t want to help financially a family who thinks that I’m a terrorist, and I certainly don’t want to help their child get an education. Why should I help anybody unless I want to? It is not my task to figure out when I wake up each morning how I am going to make people like me, and I certainly don’t jump through hoops to see that they do. I spend zero time each day thinking about what anyone else thinks of me. If people like the things I say, they tune in and read. If they don’t I won’t lose an ounce of sleep.

But I do not wish to support even with a few cents a day a person or a group of people who think so poorly of me. If they feel that way, that is their decision—their freedom of choice. But I am not compelled to give them the value of my earning in any way. I do not spend my afternoons slandering my political enemies at a Kroger store or any place else. I write my thoughts and communicate on the radio using the First Amendment to do what it’s supposed to do, and that is create dialogue to root out an idea.

To people who wish to extort through coercion and other means of pressure money from the public pockets so that they can carry on their silly government racket–my acts are as severe to them as blowing up a federal building–relative to their mentality. Because they are extremists who live off public money and they need my participation into their collectivism to have power, my desire to be removed from their looting scheme is a threat to their very existence. I do not wish to be in their collectivist society. I do not want their friendships, their approval, or their endorsements. I require absolutely nothing from them, and for that they call me a terrorist and multiple other derogatory terms. Because of my stance on living, and social participation is the greatest threat to their existence—because I do not need them–they think of me as the most sinister force they can imagine. And that makes me very proud.

It is not “popular” or “fashionable” to declare ones independence from the masses. Just because their opinion out-numbers my own does not make them right. It is possible to have 1 million or 1 billion people be completely wrong and only one person be right. A majority opinion does not mandate truth, or justice. It is simply mob rule and I’m not interested in that type of lifestyle, or teaching the modern children of America to live under those terms. America is a free country designed to protect the freedoms of individuals. Individuals will be drawn to their own friends who suit their interests and this happens naturally, without government interference. People are attracted to each other through aligned values. The advocates of public education such as the author of the above posting seek to remove value from society so that all people with empty heads will be drawn together by default in a grand scheme of equality—equally helpless, foolish, and conniving. I’m opposed to their approach—and will not support it. My lack of support does not require the action of a single other person. However, due to the shared values of many people who feel as I do–but are just not vocal about it–the school levies will continue to be defeated. I will not support more state funding so long as labor unions rule our education institutions. I will also not support a per pupil cost amount that is not driven downward with competition from schools who can educate better, and cheaper. And if the schools do manage to get a tax increase I expect to take back that looted value with declining property taxes through reassessment. These words from me to my political enemies are equivalent to the acts of Timothy McVeigh. On my end I do not seek to go out and attack any of them physically. My acts of terror are to deny them of money. If I take away their money, then what becomes of them? They revert to the colossal failures they truly are socially, parentally, and individually since they can no longer hide behind the money they’ve looted from society. That is when we can see who the bad guys really are, when they can no longer hide, and must show themselves for their true nature—which is quite disgusting. This is why I now stand against public education completely, is because these types of personalities need to be removed from any public debate before such an idea will ever be worthwhile to another generation of children. And right now they have equal value with me in the public debate only because they do it with looted money. Take that money away and those of true value can be seen for their true worth—which is greatly lacking.

After America: Numbers from the terror mentioned in Mark Steyn’s book

Watch this!  In fact, watch every single video on this posting at least once.  Then send this link to your friends and family.  Your lives depend on it.

Oh, dear reader—not all of you—because most come to this site to gain a foothold into just a bit of sanity in a world gone mad……………..but some of you…….the ones who hate me, and wish I would just stop————you are reading here out of anger hoping to find some way to twist my words around so you can end my work. You are reading here to preserve your way of life—because you are a government employee of some kind, or perhaps you are one of the idiots who found yourself seduced many years ago by the womanizing Lyndon B. Johnston and his Great Society, and you want to stop what I put up on this site every day. You wonder why people like me just don’t shut up and pay our taxes. You want me to just work, and work, and work to pay for the mindlessly insane programs you and your politicians voted for—and you expect me to support them with my value for the rest of my life. Well, I have news for all you fools of the Great Society, and of Roosevelt’s “NEW DEAL,” I don’t want it, I’m not going to support it with a quiet nod of obedience, and certainly don’t want the worth of my work to be poured into the useless abyss of more government. One of the reasons for my growing abhorrence of public education and government programs in general is articulated wonderfully in Mark Steyn’s most recent book, After America. You can see a public speaking engagement from Steyn below in four parts to get more of a taste of who, what, when and where our nation has went wrong, and why doing more of the wrong behavior will not solve the problem.

In a government gone mad the current debt per person if equated out over 306 million Americans is $13,072, but because of progressive politics, not everyone pays taxes. In fact, it’s only the richest percentage of that number who actually pays tax. The average debt per “taxpayer” is $74,074 divided over 54 million people. That’s what “democracy/communism” looks like and why there are often mindless chants from those who don’t pay much in taxes for taxes to increase—just to clear that up before we get into the really shocking numbers. In fact our debt is so bad due to progressive politics like The New Deal and The Great Society that there soon won’t be enough money in the entire world to pay our debt. Below is just one of the top ten most disturbing statistics from Mark Steyn’s After America. You can see the rest at this link:

http://rightwingnews.com/quotes/the-top-10-most-disturbing-statistics-from-mark-steyns-after-america-get-ready-for-armageddon/

But the one of the most disturbing is this one:

2) John Kichen of the U.S. Treasury and Menzie Chinn of the University of Wisconsin published a study in 2010 entitled:

Financing U.S. Debt: Is There Enough Money in the World — and At What Cost?
The fact that sane men are even asking this question ought to be deeply disturbing. As to the answer, foreign official holdings of U.S. Treasury securities have usually been less than 5 percent of the rest of the world’s GDP. By 2009, they were up to 7 percent. By 2020, Kitchen and Chinn project them to rise to 19 percent of the rest of the world’s GDP, which they say is….do-able. Whether the rest of the world will want to do it is another matter. A future that presumes the rest of the planet will sink a fifth of its GDP into U.S. Treasuries is no future at all. But on Big Government’s streetcar named Desire we have come to depend on the kindness of strangers. — P.10

The federal government is so bad, corrupt, reckless, and blind to any vision of the future that America is spending $126,839 per second. Our government is spending $7,610,350 per minute! Every hour of every day in America we are spending more than $450 million on government programs, on government schools that are ineffective, on government employees like the GSA who have for years indulged in exotic trips to national conferences. On Social Security that is insufficient, Medicare that is plagued with corruption and needless medical expenses, on a military that protects the world at our expense.

Every single day in America we are spending over $11 billion dollars, just to be open for business. Over the course of the year it comes out to over $4 trillion dollars. All that money is spent, and what do we have to show for it? What is the value of the purchased services? Can America stay the greatest country in the world following these numbers? What is left for the children of tomorrow? What happens to the world if America defaults on its debt?

Many people, especially government employees like school teachers and administrators refuse to believe that it is they who are on the leading edge of this chaos. It is they who have taught society now for two decades to embrace global policies rooted in socialism and to end American technological and manufacturing dominance in order to “save the planet.”

Not all teachers in public education are bad, but unfortunately they live in an idealistic world which is formed on the philosophies of Immanuel Kant and Karl Marx, and they seek to bend the rules of reality to their distorted vision. Progressive presidents like Woodrow Wilson was president of Princeton University and was a devastating president that paved the way for a century of gradual American decline. Lyndon B. Johnston was a high school teacher as his first job, and Barack Obama was a teacher at Chicago University, and both of those presidents have shown they are not equipped to head anything resembling an economy. Between the two of them, they are almost exclusively responsible for many of the numbers mentioned above. America does not need more teachers in The White House. History has shown that in so doing America lends itself to the same bankrupt spending habits currently seen in every public school in the country—and our kids are coming out of school being taught by those types of people.

Progressives have “progressed” America right off a cliff, and people like me have every right to demand a return to sanity. I am not committed to continuing the ridiculous programs of the progressive movement. I personally like rugged individualism, I love the spirit of American adventure in the 1800’s and I believe that the “can do” spirit of that period combined with what we know of modern science is the key the world needs. But I do propose a rejection of virtually everything progressive politics has brought to America and recommend sending it back on a ship to Europe to reside there in the Dark Ages of history with the ghosts of Martin Luther (the religious figure) and stacks of former Popes.

Progressivism does not work. It does not work in public education. It does not work in the creation of the welfare state, and it is not the ticket to a free and just society. It is a dismal failure that requires quick assessment, acceptance of malfunction, and rejection by the American people within the decade, otherwise—it will be too late and America will fail on their watch.

So if you are one of the people reading this and you don’t like it—tough!  Now, watch this last video at least three times, because it will take that many times for the information to sink in.  After watching this you will see that there is no way to continue with the programs of The Great Society.  There is no way to maintain the New Deal.  There is no way to do anything that President Obama wants to do.  If America is to survive, it has to go back to before progressive politics infected our society.  That is not inflammatory language.  It’s a fact of life.  Let Tony Robbins explain it to you now.

The Sirens of Doom at Lakota: Gary Cates pushes a levy attempt?

Gary Cates! What are you talking about? I find it hard to believe that Gary said what he said in the below article at Channel 5’s website. Gary for a long time has stood against the outrageous spending tendencies in public education, especially at Lakota, and in the article he actually encouraged the school board to show leadership to the community so they could pass a levy like Fairfield and Lebanon last year.

http://www.wlwt.com/news/30974866/detail.html?taf=cin

Well, here’s the news flash—Fairfield’s levy barely passed and Lebanon’s was the second attempt in 6 months, and it barely passed. Both of those districts Gary mentioned have huge populations of apartment dwellers who tend to vote for school levies because they don’t directly have to pay for the tax increases, but they do get to go to the nice schools the taxes pay for.

Lakota’s situation is not the same as those districts, so I am surprised Gary brought it up in the same line of dialogue. Lakota’s problem is self inflicted in that they have not controlled their costs. CLICK HERE FOR MORE DETAIL AND FOR THE GRIM REALITY. It has nothing to do with generating more revenue. Such a way of thinking is insane and such propionates of nonsense need to check directly into the nearest mental ward.

The article itself is well done by the AP and shows how Lakota is in the same boat as the rest of Ohio. Education costs are simply too expensive, and the employees of education expect too much compensation for too many employees. They need to completely rethink their business model. But throwing more money into the black hole of public education is not the answer.

Gary…….I’m sure your comments were taken out of context—surely? Don’t let the sirens of doom whisper in your ear guiding you onto the jagged rocks of destruction. Cast aside those filthy beasts and don’t let them seduce you into inaction. That’s how things became so screwed up to begin with, as those who came before you caved into the temptation to make peace with the antagonists while they made off with the loot leaving people like you holding the bill.

Keep your hands on the wheel and watch the rocks.  We are moving through dangerous waters.  Don’t listen to the sirens and their songs of death.

Mel Gibson The Passionate Patriot: Secret Service visits Ted Nugent

Oh, wasn’t it nice of the Secret Service to close its investigation on Ted Nugent for comments he made at a recent NRA event? Ted among other things said that Obama and his team in The White House were criminals and that he would either be “dead” or in jail by this time next year if Obama was still president. Nugent made references to the movie Braveheart and said we all needed to pull together to chop “their” heads off in November. So—what’s wrong with that? I used similar language during the last election aimed at the labor unions in Ohio. (CLICK HERE)

It is amazing how tilted the table is when someone isn’t a liberal, progressive, or public employee thief yet uses inflammatory language to make a point—because the other side certainly does it. Wasn’t it Barrack Obama who threatened to blow up the Jonas Brothers to protect his children with a predator drone. Hmmmmmmm…….or what about when President Obama’s union brother Jimmy Hoffa said he was going to “take these sons of bitches out” meaning the Tea Party at a rally in Detroit during the election of 2011. Apparently, the rules are, if you are from one side of the political aisle, you can say and do anything you want. If you are from the other side, like Ted Nugent, or Sarah Palin then everything said will be used against you in the court of public opinion.

On a smaller scale my political enemies called me all sorts of names recently and weren’t shy about it. They, like most progressive types were frustrated that they couldn’t match my public debates with facts and couldn’t win an election based on data—much like Obama and his minions—so they sought to tear down my character with name calling and other forms of peer pressure to change my behavior. So I fired back with a lengthy diatribe that I thought was perfectly justified and harmless by calling them–famously by now–“latté sipping prostitutes” and used descriptive language to explain why. Ironically my political enemies were able to call for boycotts against businesses, and were able to call me all sorts of names and the media around town could have cared less. But when I unloaded back on them the latté sippers circled their wagons and screamed to the world that they were going to run me out of my home, out of the district and out of their opposition. They declared to me and everyone else that “I was going down” and would be exposed as a radical right-winger.

The newspapers carried the story with vivid language used by me to describe my latté sipping enemies in full text, which surprised me. Every radio station in town read those articles on the air to over a million listeners combined in the tri-state area of Cincinnati. I heard it on radios when I went to pump gas at the gas station, from the kitchens of restaurants when I went out to eat, and from the downed windows in people’s cars. It was on FM radio as well as AM radio all day long. It was my first time up close and personal in seeing the kind of progressive manipulation that I’ve watched happen to people like Mel Gibson after he made the film The Passion, Rush Limbaugh on many occasions particularly over his Donovan McNabb comments a few years ago, and Glenn Beck countless times. Growing up I watched how progressive film reviewers went after Clint Eastwood aggressively over every film he made, particularly the Dirty Harry films and Eastwood would purposely fight back with pithy comments of his own. This went on until Eastwood made the film White Hunter Black Heart and decidedly become more of a filmmaking moderate then progressives no longer saw him as a threat and started to let him off the hook.

Progressive antagonists have learned these character assassination tactics properly from people like Saul Alinsky—who was trained by the mob in Chicago—how to engage in public relations terrorism, and they have used those tactics to eliminate their political enemies with the same effectiveness. When a political enemy has the moral high ground they are to be put on their defenses by answering a negative—which cannot be overcome easily. In Mel Gibson’s case he was a wild and crazy party guy for years and Hollywood loved him for it. All during his Lethal Weapon films his antics with women and drinking were legendary and everyone wanted to party with Mel. But Mel had a very serious side, which started to come out in films like Man Without a Face, and eventually Braveheart referenced by Ted Nugent. After Braveheart Mel became a serious threat. Hollywood wanted more of that kind of material, but they failed to understand where in Gibson’s heart these films came from. Braveheart was a very passionate, patriotic film, but it was about the faraway land of Scotland. Mel Gibson gave studios what they thought they wanted with The Patriot, which was another Braveheart type of film, but this time centering on the American Revolution and that crossed the line of the progressive agenda. At that point, progressives in the film community started coming after Mel Gibson with their name calling terrorism.

Gibson responded to his critics by making one of the most obscure and controversial films in the history of cinema, The Passion. He showed the crucifixion of Jesus Christ in all the glory a long time Catholic might envision, and he had a creative license to do so. After all—it’s a free society and anybody is allowed to make a film about the life of Christ and they have tried. They just didn’t do it as good—and with the horsepower of Mel Gibson. So the forces who seek to strip away religion in America and implement the progressive agenda had enough of Mel Gibson. No longer would his wild exploits with women be accepted, or his untamed drinking–many of the things that made him popular in the first place. Now Mel Gibson would be called anti-Semitic by his political enemies and he will carry that label for the rest of his life. It’s similar to being branded on the forehead in a puritan community for adultery.

My political enemies attempted to use all these methods on me even at the local level to brand me forever as a “woman hater” because I don’t support the progressive platform of women. The evidence in my life clearly shows that I love women, but in the court of public opinion, that doesn’t matter. Progressives are not interested in facts, they are only interested in what advances their agenda and there is a double standard. They are allowed to cast any aspersion desired since many of them don’t have any value system that allows them to feel guilt. The same tactics cannot be used back at them, by the rules they’ve established, because they hide their individuality into a collective blob of mob mentality.

This disparity has occurred down the basic line of good and evil. Those who are good in heart and mind even if they are wild and crazy guys like Mel Gibson tend to care too much to play this game, and they end up playing the game poorly losing almost every time. The typical progressive does not have individual value—their values are in group assimilation—so as long as the group is behind them, they are happy no matter what coercion methods are used. But for people like me, or Ted Nugent, or Clint Eastwood over the years, Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh—people who stand individually out on that limb and take the risk of it being cut off—they are vulnerable, and the progressive assimilation knows it. Individuals have no support structure.

The same women who fantasized in having a wild affair with Mel Gibson after watching What Women Want are now are writing emails and blogs about how to repair the shattered minds of their children after being forced to listen to Mel Gibson’s anti-Semtic remarks. Mel is the same man who he’s always been, but it is the collectivism of progressive politics that allows for this level of social manipulation. The goal of the attacks against Gibson is to keep him from making movies that the progressive agenda does not support. Just like the attacks against me are to keep me from fighting school levies against a public education system that is attempting to advance a progressive agenda and using our “collective, looted” money to do it. The visit by the Secret Service to Ted Nugent was not a threat to Nugent—it was a warning shot to all those who might listen to him. It’s a reminder of who has the power and is able to wield it. The double-standard exists for a reason; it’s not about justice, or good and evil. It’s about whoever has the majority opinion believes they get to make the rules and social standards for the global community. The progressive attitude is that if you are not with them—then you are against them. They do not recognize free speech or any other item in the Constitution or the Bill of Rights. The only want victory at any cost and they will crush ANY individual to have it.

Their methods have worked for over 100 years—that is, until now. What the collectivist progressives do not understand is the ability of the individual to stand on their own. Mel Gibson has shown that he could care less what people say about him and he is proceeding on. Ted Nugent is obviously not in the least rattled by his little visit by the Secret Service, and he could care less if Mitt Romney decides to play the pussy game of the typical conservative and distance himself from Nugent, even after Ted offered his endorsement. Such people are no different from Judas betraying Jesus showed so vividly in Mel Gibson’s The Passion. For me, I’ve been kissed on the cheek by so many “Judas” types over the years that I simply wipe away the lipstick with the same disregard that I pick bugs off my face after a long motorcycle ride. It simply doesn’t faze me, because I expect betrayal and weakness when dealing with collectivists. Those weaknesses cannot be allowed to set public policy any more. To fight the progressive you have to no longer care what they think or say. You just have to act authentically from the center of your own conscience.

And do yourself a favor—if you haven’t watched it in a while, watch The Patriot, by Mel Gibson. It is because of films like that—that he suffers now. So show your appreciation by encouraging your families and friends to see it again.  Stand by those who stand individually against the waves of tyranny–because it’s not easy, and their actions are all that stands between freedom and serfdom for everyone else.

The Rest of the Story: Who thought I was going away?

As progressive minded collectivists and pro tax advocates celebrated what they thought was my fiery end in the school levy fights around town on that carefully planned March 15th assault, there are aspects to that story that I have not revealed–until now. While the strategy I discussed in calling the levy supporters of Lakota “latté sipping prostitutes” is true, and the results were predictable, but at the same time terribly disappointing, there is as the late, great Paul Harvey used to say—the rest of the story.

In September of 2011 at a No Lakota Levy group meeting I told our members that after this next campaign they should search among themselves for another spokesman who could change up the message if Lakota decided to go for fourth levy attempt in 2012. I suggested this for two reasons—first Doc Thompson and I had covered about every aspect of public school funding issues on 700 WLW, and had gathered nearly 20 hours of audio recordings featured here at my Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom site and the message was feeling tired. My hope was that a new face might be able to recharge the campaign efforts to match the musical chairs the Lakota school system utilizes in their campaign efforts. It makes me very proud to see that over the fall of 2011 into the winter of 2012 that No Lakota Levy has three such fresh minded spokesman to pick from on the next campaign. Second—I told our group at No Lakota Levy that I had a new book coming out in the summer of 2012, and that it would require most of my attention. While I would be doing national media events and press obligations, I did not want to be distracted with local political issues, and that I needed a break. Like I told them, writing is how I make a living, and my last book was in 2004, so it was time for me to pay some more bills with my next book that had been three years in the making, which of course they all understood.

A few weeks later I was speaking at a Lakota event with school board members Linda O’Conner and Ray Murray and I told them about my plans in 2012 involving my book. I told them that if this fall levy goes down that they better not think of putting on another one because I would be busy in 2012. When indications from Lakota were the same old games leaning toward a new school levy attempt, I decided to end my spokesman position with No Lakota Levy with a bang, instead of a whimper, because a whimper might send the wrong message to the community if I just backed out and let someone else from No Lakota Levy take over while I went to work promoting my new book. So having a much more colorful ending as spokesman fulfilled many of the strategy needs I had and more importantly allowed me to put my energy into the release of my new novel, Tail of the Dragon. (CLICK HERE)

My political enemies assumed that No Lakota Levy was paying me to be some sort of lobbyist and that if we were separated, then my work at this site would go away, and I would be removed from the political scene. However, what my political enemies didn’t know was that I always operated Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom as a news feed for not just No Lakota Levy, but levy fighting groups all over America. In fact I have daily readers in Europe and Australia, so my levy work has always been separate from my spokesman role for No Lakota Levy. Also, once 700 WLW decided to take more of a middle of the road approach to their broadcasts, there wasn’t as much need for my work in that fashion. And like Doc Thompson and I joked about just the other day—how much more could we say? People by now realize that the public school funding situation is a complete joke that is dominated by labor unions who are clearly not out for the “children.” So it was time to change things around a bit, and it was my chance to make some fireworks.

But that does not mean that I won’t fight the next levy attempts. I will still do as I have below, write and contribute articles exposing what is wrong with the situations surrounding public education, and I’ll do it in the same fashion as I have before. What I needed freedom from regarding No Lakota Levy was the straight jacket of being spokesman for a larger group. I found I could not maintain that confining position while at the same time putting on my sales hat to promote my novel. The two roles are just too opposed to one another that I didn’t feel I could commit myself in the same fashion as I had on the previous three levy attempts.

But rest assured, there will still be daily articles here at Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom, and I will give media interviews when needed. No Lakota Levy should be able to perform those tasks without me, but if I need to I will happily contribute to the next public debate over school levies as I have in the past. In fact the letter below is just an example of such contributions that appeared in the April 19th Pulse Journal. So levy fighters don’t worry, there is more resistance now than there was before and I will not stop doing what I’ve done all along. But while I am working on a national campaign for my new novel, it is disingenuous and overly confining to represent a group of people who simply want to keep themselves from being raked over the coals with tax increases. And also, I need the ability to call my political enemies latté sipping prostitutes. That’s important to me………………..I get tired of all that touchy, feely hand-shaking crap.

Now, enjoy my latest Letter to the Editor as it appeared in the Pulse Journal.

Another graduating class at Lakota will be leaving as the school year comes to a close. Doing a bit of math, it appears that Lakota will have nearly 1000 students leaving our facilities this year and in the years to come. That means Lakota will have declining enrollment for possibly the next two decades since the real estate growth has peaked in our community. That should take the pressure off the budget deficit considerably. That is good news.

But there are still calls by some to push another school levy even with this knowledge of declining enrollment. And to pave the way for a new levy there have been calls for me to apologize to the various PTA groups over things I said about them as evidence of this new levy push emerged. But what hasn’t been discussed was the reason for the anger.

If Lakota had proposed a tax and respected the votes of the people the first couple of attempts, the tension now wouldn’t be so high. But when there are members of the PTA groups and other pro levy factions who actively sought to boycott businesses and bring coercion to individuals they know voted against the school levies to “persuade” them to vote differently on the next attempt, then we’re not talking about simple politics anymore, we’re talking about something much more serious. If an election can’t be won without vandalism, coercion and media domination, then someone should probably check to see if they’re on the right side of things. Yet the only avenue explored besides drastic, punishing cuts, has been tax increases disrespecting the will of the voters over three elections so far.

Lakota should be able to balance its budget with fewer enrollments unless they do something reckless like give all their employees raises just for breathing air, which they might actually try, but not until 2014. If they do attempt another levy, I can promise a much more “colorful” campaign against them than they’ve seen up to this point, because this is getting ridiculous. The path of Little Miami is not the correct one.

Pedophile Teachers Escape Punishment in New York: Lakota goes to Macy’s Parade

Ahhhhh…….democracy…………isn’t it refreshing to listen to these United Federation of Teachers union members protesting the closing of schools at the Panel for Education Policy in New York? As they chant “This is what democracy looks like” these educators show what they really are—socialists. It is because of employees like these that I have absolutely no desire to fund any tax money to the Department of Education and wish not a dime of my tax money to go to my local government school of Lakota. At Lakota they had a similar protest in 2008 where they forced the school board to give teachers raises otherwise they’d walk off the job. These union educators prove they have no idea what kind of government they actually have and believe they can twist the arm of the elected representatives with protests and chaos. Yes, this is what democracy looks like. Thank God America is technically a republic and not a democracy, because if it was, there would be socialist protests like this everywhere we went.

Lucky for us the socialists in America typically reside in labor unions and government jobs so if we want to rid ourselves of their communist dreams, all we have to do is eliminate those government jobs which will force them to adopt the proper free-market mentality that built America. Because the socialists—collectivist mystics that they are have learned that when nobody is directly responsible for the tax money collected—as is the case in public education, then if they prove more violent and hostile than the government agencies who collected the tax, then the money is up for grabs. This is how many of these teachers in these videos are making well over $50K per year. In fact several are making over 100K per year, even though it’s obvious that they have very limited human skill. I would be surprised if only a handful were actually qualified to teach a young person how to tie their shoes, let alone build our youth on a philosophy they can live by. And for the record, if they embrace the religion of environmentalism, bigger government, and socialism in any form, I would consider teachers unqualified to teach American youth.

These radical socialists know that the system works in their favor the same as a screaming infant learns that by making a scene in public it will drive the mother to give it things it might not get in the quiet of home, so these socialist union workers took to the streets and showed the world what democracy looks like and it’s not pretty. The common belief among these people is that they can alter reality by screaming and chanting. The reality is that the Panel for Education Policy in Queens has been trying to figure out how to keep some of their schools open due to funding problems, and in an effort to save money; they were seeking to consolidate services. This is the same thing that is going on all across America, including my home district of Lakota. There is only so much money to go around, especially when the employees make as much money as these socialist protestors do. It’s wages and gold-plated benefits that cause most of these budget problems, yet as the PEP attempts to make financial adjustments, the union gathered to protest any cuts at all and attempted to bend even the mayor of New York over a barrel to get him to commit even more tax money to education.

You would think that the PEP could solve some of its problems by firing its employees who are their worst employees, but no—that is not allowed by the union. Because of tactics employed in the video above the UFT has influence at every level of the state and nobody is willing to fight them directly. It’s just not worth the trouble. In fact just last week, the union protected what is being called The Not So Sweet Sixteen Teachers that education officials singled out for termination ranging in wages from over $100K per year to just under $70K for excessively perverted behavior against students, which would have saved more than a million dollars in salary obligations. You can read more detail about the disgusting content of the perverted behavior at the links below.

http://articles.nydailynews.com/2012-04-05/news/31296372_1_michael-mulgrew-teachers-union-president-city-teachers

The teachers were brought before a panel of arbitrators—state appointed lawyers paid daily rates of $1000 to $1,800 to decide their fate—and were all let off the hook able to keep their jobs and punished with much lesser charges. Meanwhile the pedophilic actions taken against the students have went unpunished, and the teachers still get to keep their very high paying jobs only to commit more crimes in the future. In fact 2 of the 16 let off are already in trouble again for the very same thing!

Yes………………this is what democracy looks like. Chaos, disorder, socialism, fear, tyranny where it is the law of the mob that rules, the screaming masses who demand payment or they will inflict pain on anyone who stands in their way. As the union president Michael Mulgrew said about the lack of ability school officials had to fire his pedophile members, they could appeal to the arbitration process in the state courts. True, they could, which would mean more lawyer fees for a process that the state-wide teachers union already had lobbyists in place to twist the arm of anyone they needed to. School officials know that justice is not possible, and their only choice is to put up or shut up.

This is a nationwide problem. It’s going on in almost every public school in the country. I’ve covered many of the problems in my home district of Lakota since I hear the news on a daily basis and the entire enterprise is a scam at best. In fact just last week the Lakota West Marching Band learned that it would be going to New York home of the UFT to perform at the Macy’s 2013 Thanksgiving Day Parade that is so popular, which is a great honor. Upon the announcement the school officials had a big auditorium assembly for the students and rained confetti down on the band members congratulating them for their great achievement. Check it out for yourself as it happened.

I watched the event with skepticism however. There was a part of me that wanted to be happy for the kids, the school and their parents, but there was another part of me—the experienced part—that knows there’s more to it. Lakota is the 7th largest excellent school system in Ohio and its union the LEA is an offshoot of the OEA. And the OEA is an offshoot of the National Education Association, and out of the 150 bands across the country that applied only 11 were invited. For the NEA after three very high-profile levy defeats at Lakota in two years–in a situation that I have been intimately involved with, so much so that it was featured recently in Forbes Magazine, (Yes LAKOTA, you are welcome for the national exposure-CLICK HERE) the union knows it needs a levy passage in Southern Ohio to maintain its power base. So I’d say that had something to do with the selection process for the Macy’s Parade. Lakota is a big political target for the union to maintain power. Not to take anything away from the kids, but unfortunately, politics is often more powerful than talent in a progressive society.

My hope is that while in New York for that parade Lakota doesn’t let the troubles involving the United Federation of Teachers, come back home with them because at Lakota soon, there will also be massive school closings as the population ages and fewer kids enroll in the school system. That means massive layoffs for positions that have an average salary amount of $63K per year. And to solve that problem will not require the chaos of democracy, but the logic of a republic. That claim to democracy can stay in New York and is not welcome on the bus with our students as they return from their grand opportunity to perform on national TV in New York City. I’ve seen what democracy looks like, and I don’t like it, want it, or desire to pay for it.

THE LEA ELECTION: Lakota’s labor union is electing a new president

Come one—come all, the Lakota Education Association (LEA) is having their election for President, Vice President and Secretary. They are meeting late in the evening after all their work is complete for the day at the extreme hour of 4:30 PM on Tuesday April 17th 2012. The vote for these positions gains the new president the ability to extort money from the public for future union contracts and allows them to speak to the media about how much the local children need union labor.

However being the president of a labor union is a tough job. Candidates must be willing to eliminate any competition to public education so that the stranglehold of union monopoly can be maintained otherwise the public will figure out they can get the same teaching results for half the cost of a government school employee. Candidates must also be willing to exaggerate every aspect of their members’ professions by calling even breathing itself a hardship. They must be willing to increase the cost of the future 2014 contract in spite of the fact that there will be declining enrollment at Lakota over the next 10 years. There’s a very good chance that Lakota enrollment could go from 18,000 students to 10,000 students in the next 6 years which will mean massive layoffs of LEA employees. The future President of the LEA must keep a lid on that fact so the public doesn’t figure it out.

The future LEA President must make sure that every service offered to the community is held hostage while the members enjoy top salaries of over 63K per year and summers off. The president must be ready also to argue that any layoffs needed will be from the new teachers just hired while the old expensive ones cruise to early retirements while school buses sit idle, sports fees remain at $550 per sport, and electives are cut down to those of a third world country. The President of the LEA must not develop a guilty conscious, but must be willing to see the whole community surrounding the school system fail without yielding even a 5% reduction in wages and benefits. After all, the LEA President is not there to protect the students or their families, but the employees of the LEA.

The President of the LEA must be ready and willing to walk off the job with a strike like presidents of the past did such as in 2008. The squeaky wheel gets the grease and this is how public unions have managed to gain an average of 30% higher wages for their members over the private sector by showing a willingness to extort every dime available from the taxpayers for the benefit of their employees.

The future President of the LEA must forget that their position has no real power or influence, only in their ability to steal from the taxpayers, since all the members of the LEA are completely at the mercy of tax revenue. The LEA President is required to make the public believe that by giving the union money that the community will benefit in some way. The ideal LEA Presidential candidates should have past experience in carnival games, or working at casinos as dealers—positions that require manipulation of the public into spending their money and getting nothing back in return. This would give the future LEA President a great advantage in handling public affairs while serving the selfish needs of the union members.

It is very important that the LEA Presidents, and Vice Presidents be very well versed in The Delphi Technique and understand Saul Alinsky’s handbook Rules for Radicals. Knowledge in building a consensus is paramount to being president of a parasitic labor union, because the public must believe that the employees actually care about the public and listen to their suggestions. Through The Delphi Technique the LEA President will listen to advice from the community, but will make the community forget what those ideas are by the end of the engagement. The LEA President must be skilled in imposing their will on the community and making the community believe they played a part in arriving at those decisions. Slight-of-hand is very important and having a basic understanding of magic tricks would be very helpful.

It is important that the LEA President understand that the future of many industries is at stake if they fail to extort vast sums of money from the public. If the public stops giving tax money to the LEA union think what might happen to all the hair and nail salons in the area? If the LEA members do not continue to make more and more money, who will be able to afford going to those businesses? The same consideration must be given to the travel and tourism industry? If not for teachers being off all summer and having large disposable incomes, how many cruise ships will go out of business? How many airlines will have to close their hubs because teachers stopped traveling from the months of June through August? The future LEA President has a responsibility to not just the members of their union, but also all the businesses that depend on the services provided to the LEA members extraordinarily high compensation.

But more than anything, the LEA President must keep the union together, because it is union dues that keep the union strong. It’s the brothers and sisters in the OEA who need all the support they can get. The OEA must continue to fund the campaign of Democratic politicians so that the OEA and NEA can continue to shape the government legislature into a tyrannical entity that is destined to destroy the traditional values of America and embrace the progressive era of the United Nations.

In short the future LEA President must be the most audacious type of low-life, guiltless, parasitic, a destroyer of thinking, a con artist, they must be the epitome of the modern mystic of muscle—a thug willing to strong arm anyone who stands in their way for the good of the many—their brothers and sisters of the LEA. After all, the goal of the LEA President is to make themselves forget, as well as all their members that the intention of the labor union movement is to corrupt America with communism. The labor movement’s primary aim has been to separate individual rights from their property rights, because without the latter, the former is not possible. The goal of the communists behind the labor movement was to replace individual rights with “human rights.” The modern intellectuals of government education understand to reject the premise of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, and replace those with social justice, and equality for all so that the worst and least motivated of society can make slaves of their betters, the men and women of production. By executing this strategy it is the job of the future President of the LEA to stop war and spread peace by taking away all ambition from the world and making everyone the same by handling these tasks within the district of the Lakota School District as thousands upon thousands do the same across all of America to the drum beat of the Department of Education.

April 17th is coming quick, and this election is one of the most important for the LEA union to date. The future of progressive politics is at stake and control must be regained over a rebellious group of tax payers that has emerged in the Lakota School District to resist the might of the LEA and the power to rob, loot and pillage the wealth of West Chester and Liberty Twp. These rebels must be suppressed by the new LEA President and strength must be returned to the labor union movement before it’s too late.

Members of the Lakota School Board–be sure to post this notification on your Facebook accounts so that you can rally your “groupies” to the cause of supporting this next LEA president as the board has in the past. It’s important to present a united front to the community, especially when you want tax increases from them to take care of your friends in the LEA.  These union employees are your power base and the keys to maintaining your seats in a district that is predominately conservative.  The future is in all of your hands to maintain the status quo and the culture of “educrates” everywhere. So don’t let them down. Be sure to vote on April 17th in the Lakota West Freshman Media Center at 4:30 PM.

Have a great and wonderful day!

More to come………………………………………

A Grim Reality for Lakota Employees: Life as they know it will change dramatically

As my readers here know, I love to read and write in the early morning—and occasionally I like to do these things outside so I can hear the birds. In fact many of you might wonder if I have some dire obsession with birds. But believe me, my relationship with them is one of mutual benefit. I put food out for them, and they in turn land on my shoulder and whisper in my ear. Some of these birds come directly from the Lakota School System and tell me things that are going on there, which I appreciate.

One such little bird landed on my shoulder the other day and tweeted a wonderful message that I found very interesting. It was a report that Lakota West is graduating 1000 students this year and is not replacing them with new students next year. In fact West Chester as a community lacks start-up oriented homes that most young people can purchase and will not be adding any students in the subsequent years and that this is a concern within the halls of Lakota Administration.

Most parents with school age children simply cannot afford the $250K homes that populate most of West Chester and Liberty Twp until they’ve invested in a starter home first to accumulate the down payment on a larger home off the value gained from their starter. But with real estate values flat lining due to the recent bubble that has burst all over the country, an investment in a starter home ($100K or less) is not happening. Compound that small fact with the reality that many young people are coming out of college without a high paying job to build a life with, and instead find themselves with over $50K in student loan debt and a job at a local fast food restaurant to pay their basic bills.

The Lakota School System and their minions of latté sipping levy advocates have thought and still do that anyone who opposes a school levy increase is the embodiment of an evil to them of the worst sort. What they haven’t accounted for was that levy fighters were always preparing for this day where the explosive growth that the teachers union salivated over in Liberty Twp and West Chester would bottom out, and the community would have to adjust if it wanted to remain successful. And driving up costs on businesses and per pupil costs in the classroom is a recipe for community failure. Just look at the Princeton School District, once considered the best in Cincinnati. Their per pupil costs are over $15K per student, because their expenses are tied up in high salaries established in the days of economic boom, which is now gone. Lakota, and Mason were the benefactors of Princeton’s decline and will experience the same cycle.

The values of many homes in the affluent communities of Lakota are tanking, not because the school is bad, or the fight over tax hikes scared away potential investors, it’s because there are not enough qualified candidates able to buy a $300K home at the start of their child rearing years. So to sell that $300K home, it might only be attractive to a new family who will only buy the home off foreclosure for $200K which pulls down the value of everyone’s homes. That’s very bad for all the families who bought homes expecting a 5% to 10% increase in their home values, because like their 401K’s, they will lose that perceived value. It’s guaranteed at this point, a reality that must be faced.

Lakota as a community must adjust if they want to stay great in the coming years and survive this next period of easy growth that the real estate agents who advocate on behalf of school levies drool over. They are of course upset because if you’re in real estate, it’s easy to sell a $300K home to a duel income professional family in their early 30’s and convince them to sign up for a $4000 yearly property tax bill because the money comes easy to these young parents and they are still kids themselves—and unsure of how they will perform as parents. So the knowledge that a school can fill that insecurity makes for an easy sale of an expensive home. But along the way, affordable homes were not built, so if those jobs went away for those young professional couples, then so would the ability to buy such large homes, and the market would dry up.

Liberty Twp—the little bird told me—has stabilized its growth, but it appears that Lakota will have to remap their district. There will soon be empty buildings in Lakota West because of the exodus of students and no young people to replace the graduating classes, so some of the students from Liberty Twp will have to be bused down to Lakota West buildings to fill their vacancies. This will create another problem that the union at Lakota will have to confront—there will be massive job losses at Lakota as there will not be a need to keep so many employees on staff.

Currently Lakota is staffed to handle 18,000 students, but that number could easily decline to under 15,000 students in just a few years as the community of West Chester is emerging into more retirement aged residents without children in the district. Lakota has acknowledged that their salary and benefit packages are comparable to our current Social Security models and are unsustainable. This is why they are hoping that the state of Ohio will change the way schools are funded, because with declining property values paying less tax, and fewer students enrolling, there is no reason to keep all the employees they have at Lakota. Paying an average salary of over $63K per year to fulfill their union contracts is just not feasible.

This is the reason for my anger at the school district and the blind advocates of more school levy increases–it’s their destructive short-sightedness and selfish imposition on the world around them. Even knowing this information as I write this, the superintendent is planning to propose another tax increase on the community for the fourth time, when the solution is right in front of her face. She will have to cut—much more deeply than they have even considered up to this point. They are going to have dramatically reduced student enrollment and will not be able to staff at the levels they currently are. And the reason we’ve fought so hard to keep taxes down for businesses and residents is because a successful community is not just built around a school system–it has to have jobs and services to sustain its population and remain attractive to homeowners even after their children have graduated.

As the little bird flew away and I watched the sun rise I realized how preposterous a levy increase would be now in 2012. A school simply doesn’t need $240 million to $155 million to operate per year when you’re losing 1000 students each year for the next 5 to 6 years. Even if Liberty Twp resumes construction of new homes it will not surpass the stoppage of building in West Chester that will be occupied by residents who no longer have children in the district, and young people cannot afford to buy these homes even if they wanted to. So Lakota will be dealing with declining enrollment every year for perhaps the next 20 years. They have seen their peak employment days and must now concentrate on being a great school with far less employees than they have now and in fewer buildings to maintain.

History will prove that is was now that our community decided whether or not to succeed or fail based on where we put our priorities. Because the math does not add up for a growing school district far into the future. The opposite is true, and the levy advocates at Lakota are in denial of these facts, which makes them dangerous. But they aren’t very dangerous if nobody listens to them, or their self-centered perception of the world. It is ironic that places of learning lack the ability to even grasp the mathematics of this situation to apply in the real world. But as the little bird said, Lakota is well aware of these problems. Lakota is simply in denial of the timeframe they have to react properly.

It will be interesting to see how Lakota attempts to glaze over these facts. I wonder if the newspapers will report these stories of decline, or will they just report what the superintendent utters in public relations controlled memos? Time will tell……………………….
