Happy “Dependence Day”: The social parasites who play the slot machine of government

It was refreshing to hear deep into the night on July 4th 2012 fireworks sounding off from thousands of potential American rebels. Ohio had a ban on firing off “illegal” fireworks due to the very dry conditions and there were threats of enforcement by police and fire marshals “concerned” about the public safety. By the level of hoopla made about how dry things have been by those public employees I was actually surprised to wake up on July 5, 2012 to find that the state had not burned to the ground. According to the safety addicts, one smoldering ember would have set homes and properties ablaze requiring the police and fire departments to swoop in for the rescue. Of course their warnings were subtle reminders to the taxpaying public how “needed” they were which was just self promotion the local media was happy to broadcast with urgency hoping to incite panic among the veal raising parents who happily pass school levies so their children can become the next Einstein. For the most part, those warnings on July 4th were ignored, people fired off their fireworks, and the state did not burn into smoldering dust.

This left me to wonder why those same people did not behave with the same tenacity every other day of the year, which was the topic of Darryl Parks at 700 WLW during his July 4th broadcast. He brought to question the same issue I have been pondering—especially in the wake of the Supreme Court ruling over healthcare—many of the same people who have professed they want American Independence with a lot less socialism are at the same time asking the government to provide Social Security, Medicare, healthcare, food stamps, Pell Grants, government backed workman’s compensation, extended unemployment benefits, the list goes on and on and on. Darryl does a great job in the broadcast below in putting some numbers out about just how serious the situation is regarding the average American desiring to take money from the government to alleviate their personal ailments.

When viewed with reality, Americans are far away from truly being free, and they have no real desire to become free. They line up with their hand out looking for the government to give them something, and that something comes from the tax money we all throw into the pot.

I was invited to be in several parades on July 4th, which I thought was nice for the organizers to ask. But my personal decision on July 4th was to celebrate independence and I didn’t want to meet with any politicians on a much deserved day off. I want to be “independent” of them and did not feel like being nice to anybody just out of the act of being polite. Politicians at every single level have made their livings from the beginning of America to the present by giving away things that are not theirs to people who elect them into power.

If you take the time to consider the weight of that statement, it points directly to the heart of every major problem being dealt with in America right now. Politicians gaining the power of office give away things to the people who keep them in those positions. It could be a current president who wishes to loosen up illegal immigration policies pandering to the Latino vote, the congressman who embeds an earmark deep into a bill to make a lobbyist happy, or a local trustee who pushed for a zoning restriction to pander to their election campaigns. Our political system is corrupt to its very core with this notion of giving away things to people in order to buy votes, even if its just a $5,000 sidewalk in Beckett Ridge.

If you listen carefully to all politicians, particularly in presidential politics, virtually everything they say they are going to do in office is to give away things to the people who elect them. But what people often don’t take the time to consider is that the things the politicians are giving away are the things that the voting population has given the politician to begin with. The politician didn’t make or create anything. All they can do is manage the resources provided to them. This is the danger of a democracy composed by a society of weak veal. The thing the politician should say in America is “elect me so that I can get government out of your life.” But Americans have become used to getting more than they put into the tax pot as if they were at a casino and playing the slots, where they put in their dollar and pull the lever through politicians at the voting booth, and suddenly out comes a jackpot collected there from other such players. The person receiving the jackpot thinks they have struck it rich, while the previous players scorn the system for not providing them with the jackpot—because they put their money in too.

Well, I don’t gamble. I never put my money in a slot machine, or on a black jack table—never. I work too hard for my money to throw it away on chance. And in politics I feel the same way. I see paying my taxes as a kind of casino game and I don’t wish to play. In my entire life I have never collected a workman’s comp claim and I have had injuries on the job that pierced skin through one side of my body and came out the other. I have worked through broken bones. I have worked through major back pain. I have worked through torn ligaments. I have been so financially strapped at times in the past that I could only afford one car that I gave to my wife so she could drive our children to school—to keep them from having to ride a school bus. I rode a bicycle instead 12 miles each way to one of my two jobs at the time as my only mode of transportation. After working 10 hours at my main job, I rode to my second job working another 8. So I have no sympathy for weaklings who take government money, or force their employers to compensate them for time off. I have no sympathy for the person who says they can’t get to work because they don’t have a car. I have no sympathy to the person who says they can’t afford to pay their cable bill (which is a luxury), their cell phone bill (which is a luxury), or pay for their internet. My first question to them is, “how many hours do you work a day?” Usually the answer is eight. I often respond that I’ve worked up to 18 hours per day, sometimes 7 days per week to give my family, and myself what I needed. Why can’t you do the same?

Politicians have created a handout culture where they take from people like me and give it to people I consider parasites, because they are too lazy, too weak minded, and physically weak to do for themselves. I am told that I should be compassionate. I am also told that I didn’t need to work through all my injuries, that I could have taken time off work, I could have insisted on government transportation, government food, government medicine, government housing, government education, government—government—government everything! I am told I could have used those services just like everyone else—but it was my freedom to choose not to.

Well, my answer is that I expect people to do as I do, but there is no incentive because government makes it so that the majority of Americans can take the easy way out, by taking advantage of government programs created by pandering politicians for the sake of getting elected, and they did it with my money that they forced from me through increased taxation—legalized theft. And to a person like me, it is stolen money because I do not participate in the slot machine of government. I do not pull the lever in hopes of getting back more than I put in like most other people do.

This is why I think it is appropriate the day after July 4th to celebrate that day as “Dependence Day” because it is for all those people who have corrupted our nation with a political system focused on pandering instead of managing. Because of the collectivism that has contaminated the American Dream, those who have their hands out—which is virtually everyone–has made slaves out of every other person who puts their money into the government machine hoping to get back more than they put in. Those are the kind of people who have made a scam of our government and of our nation, and they should be ashamed of themselves. It was nice on July 4th to hear that many of them fired off their fireworks defying the law. That tells me there is still something of America still in them. But on July 5th, “DEPENDENCE DAY” they were back to the grindstone with their hand out looking for an easy break from a politician who has no right to give it to them. It is because of each and every one of those veal producing parasites that America is a declining nation like the fireworks blown up on the Fourth of July to only become a distant memory the day after.

The Pot Smoking Friend of George Soros: Meet Peter Lewis–head of Progressive Insurance

Who is Peter Lewis? Well, he’s not John Galt—that’s for sure. In fact, Lewis is the complete opposite of that fictional character from the great novel Atlas Shrugged. If you have Progressive Auto Insurance, which is the third largest in the United States then you are about to become upset if you didn’t know it already. Because Peter Lewis of Cleveland, Ohio has been the CEO of Progressive Insurance Companies and is the poster boy for the kind of man who seeks to destroy traditional America with a progressive philosophy that is true to the name of his insurance company.

I told my wife months ago well before I knew anything about Peter Lewis that I would never get Progressive Auto Insurance because of the name. I joked that I couldn’t stand progressives, and I hated insurance to begin with, so those two things together in the same name spelled double jeopardy. Each time one of those stupid commercials came on I couldn’t help but notice how similar the photography was to the Tides Foundation videos shown in school advocating the evils of capitalism to school children. I thought it was strange that Progressive Insurance seemed to be going out of their way to provide insurance to motorcyclists. The tone of the commercials seemed totally out-of-sink with the kind of people I know who are motorcycle riders. But Progressive seemed to know what they were doing because they were dominating the insurance industry and made enough money to purchase airtime on television continuously.

Unfortunately, my instincts about the name of the insurance company turned out to be true and I am very proud to say that I do not own any Progressive Insurance, and if I did, I would dump it right now. Here’s why—it turns out that Peter Lewis is a big time leftist working hand in hand with George Soros to advance progressive politics in America. Lewis seeks nothing less than the destruction of traditional America. As head of Progressive Insurance, the name of the company is the name of his political philosophy and now that he is worth more than a billion dollars, he gives tremendous amounts of money to progressive causes. Here’s just a few.

Princeton University (A Gehry designed science library, $60 million; the Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics, $55 million; arts initiative, $101 million. Total $233 million to date.)
• Case Western Reserve University (The Weatherhead School of Management Peter B. Lewis Building, another Gehry design, $36.9 million, out of $61.7 total building cost)
• Marijuana Policy Project (Donated $3,000,000 to MPP in 2007.)
• The Guggenheim Museum ($50 million)
• America Coming Together and MoveOn.org (with George Soros matching his $10 and $2.5 million, respectively)
• American Civil Liberties Union $15m
• The Democratic Party
• Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies-sponsored MDMA/PTSD Research in the US, Switzerland and Israel $750,000 [www.maps.org]
• Menorah Park (Peter B. Lewis Aquatic & Therapy Center)
• Traction
• Support of California’s Proposition 19 also known as the Regulate, Control & Tax Cannabis Act (Donation of $159,005 on 10/15/2010)
You can see the reference material for the above at this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_B._Lewis

The looters of government are looking toward “pot” (marijuana) as a way to raise additional tax revenue for their massive government programs, while at the same time dummying down the American population with cannabis infestation. Peter Lewis is himself a pot head, who was arrested in New Zealand for his drug use in the year 2000, and advocates the same boring diatribe of those old hippies from yesteryear. Legalization of marijuana is a progressive dream and these days it is the head of the Progressive Insurance Company who is leading the charge.

My thoughts on marijuana are the same now as they were when I was young. I have always despised the drug and the people who use it. I have lost many friends over my rigid stance against marijuana because I see smoking marijuana as a weakness of character. As a matter of fact, I feel nearly as strong about alcohol as I do marijuana. Seeking to numb the pains of life with chemicals is emotionally weak and is a violation to the individual soul. Anything that is ingested into the lungs through the form of smoke is a bad thing. I cannot see purposely smoking anything, let alone a drug that helps take the edge off pains. I seldom ever take aspirin or any pain killer, and there is no situation that would provoke me into cannabis use to alleviate any kind of pain and I have had just about every kind of pain imaginable. So needless to say I am against the legalization of marijuana, I am against the manufacture of it, I am against the taxation of it, I have never used it, and I will never use it. If I had it my way I’d punish every drug dealer with any means possible. I’d prosecute every drug manufacturer as domestic terrorists. And I would personally challenge any individual user. I have been to rock concerts when I was younger where I have been in massive fights with others who blew the smoke in my face passively. I hate drugs now more than I did when I was younger. It is a weak drug for weak minded people and the people who make it, use it and distribute it are lucky there are laws that protect them from people like me. I won’t break the law to show my anger, but I feel that strongly about drugs to say as much.

I know many people reading this have tried it. I have been friends with people who use it, even while they knew me, but I have never bent my opinion of it. My opinion of people who use the drug is a low one. I leave room for redemption later in life, but I do not respect current users. This makes people like Peter Lewis my mortal enemy, because if he uses his billion dollars from his insurance company to legalize marijuana so that I have to smell pot in public places like Kings Island, or the shopping mall, he is undoing the America that I love in favor of one that I hate.

On top of all this, Lewis is a trustee of Princeton University, so that says a lot about the intentions of that particular education institution. I have said for years that colleges were infested with progressivism, and now this is the proof. A major marijuana advocate and extreme political progressive is one of the leaders of that so-called esteemed university.

So the next time you see a commercial for Progressive Insurance, you are seeing the product of an extreme progressive and if you read here at Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom, Lewis is your mortal enemy. Knowing what I know now about Progressive Insurance, it is every bit as sinister as the name it carries—because they are one in the same. Progressives advocate American counter culture and are a menace to themselves and the values that made America great. Progressives get what they want by being misleading, their foundations are built upon stacks of lies. And they require an audience of non-thinking drug induced fools to follow them. That is why they advocate marijuana use so openly, because they need the masses to hunger for pain relief and non-thinking, because thinking people see through their scam, and despise the attempt.

For those who thought that George Soros was the only one they had to watch out for they are wrong, there is a man in Peter Lewis who is every bit as sinister. The chances are you are giving him money in some way by purchasing his insurance. He then takes that money to help undo America. So if you give Progressive Insurance money, you are helping to destroy your own country. Peter Lewis like the rest of the progressive types use the ACLU and other organizations to transform America into a vision of their pot smoking dreams—a world of peace, love, and drug induced hallucinations. President Obama has bragged about his drug use, and like Peter Lewis, has inhaled frequently. People like Peter Lewis and George Soros have funneled a lot of money into the art community, which includes the film industry to push for the gradual acceptance of marijuana among our youth. The result is that most young people think smoking dope is cool and that being strong is unfashionable. It is because of people like Peter Lewis that young people aspire to “get wasted” instead of making themselves stronger to endure anything.

The selfish goal of the progressive is to make a slave like society of servants who seek drug use, both alcohol and illegal, to weaken the mind of the population. By robbing the American people of their wits, the progressive leader wishes to rule them from the lofty heights of academia, which to me is simply a scam. Peter Lewis appears to consider himself one of the rulers, and he uses the money he funnels from his insurance company to weaken the resolve of the average American culminating in the climax of a hippie fantasy invented in the 1960’s. Such people are detrimental to the America I wish to live in, and I despise the air they breathe. I actually despise some of each breath I take knowing that a small portion of that air left the lungs of a human being like Peter Lewis, a parasite on American society in the worst of ways, a person who has become rich offering a product to the masses that they trust, then like leading them like cattle to slaughter. He attacks them with the money he made off them. And he will continue to do it so long as people continue to give Progressive Insurance money through their premiums. So think about all this the next time you see one of his stupid commercials come on your TV.

If you doubt what I say here, read this article from the Cleveland Plains Dealer and you’ll learn all you need to know.

Why the Novel “Tail of the Dragon” takes place on The Fourth of July: Fighting for our freedoms

I purposely set the big car chase in my new novel Tail of the Dragon on the Fourth of July for a very specific reason. As millions of Americans flock to their nearest firework displays whether it is from their back yard, or at one of the massive public displays, it has become apparent that they have lost the meaning of what the fireworks represent. So in my new novel, I wanted to take the reader on a journey to explore that meaning not only as a work of intense action with a political thriller, but as a work of philosophy.

My publisher at American Book Publishing wanted me to shorten my very large manuscript to fit their Bedside Books imprint once it was realized what I was up to. So we shortened the book considerably to fit a particular market located in the philosophy section of book stores. We did this without sacrificing the integrity of the book as a work of literature but as my editor stated, it is the car chase that everyone reading the book will want to get to, and that is where the philosophy of freedom is explored most effectively, so we wanted to get there quickly without delay, which happens to take place on the Fourth of July as the main character is declaring his independence in many ways from a world gone mad. Below is text to the words I spoke in the video above so to explain in more detail the who, what, why, when and where of how Tail of the Dragon came about and why it will appear on the book shelves next to Karl Marx as opposed to Stephen King.

I’m Rich Hoffman, an American writer who is very concerned about the future of our country and I’m speaking from the Great Smoky Mountains. Europe has just made a commitment to socialism in spite of their terrible financial situation. Here in the United States labor unions are attempting to maintain their stranglehold on American business and government employment. Governments everywhere are operating at tremendous deficits. And the American youth seem apathetic turning to mind numbing devices to soften the impact of their dismal futures. I realized that what all these problems had in common was an admiration for one very small book typically sold in the philosophy section of many book stores, Karl Marx’s Communist Manifesto.

Many of the problems we see around us today are simply the direct result of a commitment to failed philosophy. So the best way to correct the situation is with competing ideas. This is why I wrote the new thriller Tail of the Dragon, which goes beyond the usual format of a fictional novel, but is rather a work of philosophy which intentionally explores the idea of freedom and what it means to individuals and societies.

To achieve this I drew from extensive personal research into a mythical place called Tail of the Dragon located on the western frontier of the Great Smoky Mountains and decided to explore the concept of freedom by breaking every law society has created so that the characters and therefore the reader can take a journey beyond the restrictions that are holding American society, and the nations of the world into a conformity that is ultimately destructive to individual lives.

In America it is claimed to be the land of the free, and home of the brave. But these tendencies seem to be disappearing at an alarming rate, so I find it important to identify what the traits are that make up an individual who embodies these traditional American values. I wanted to ask the question what does it mean to be fearless–what does it mean to be a patriot—what does it mean to be a good spouse—a good parent—a great American. In Tail of the Dragon under the most adverse conditions, these questions are explored along with much, much more.

For as long as most of us have lived we have heard that if you fight city hall, you will always lose. We have heard that you cannot fight the law, because the law will always win. But what if those who make the laws are bad, or functioning from a false philosophy, are we not supposed to challenge those bad laws? In Tail of the Dragon the main character of Rick Stevens challenges the law and decides that he would rather die than live under unjust law, and this leads to the greatest car chase in the history of the world and massive amounts of destruction. But the premise is a serious one, what should an individual be willing to do to keep and maintain their freedoms? What are the invisible lines that dictate when action against the law becomes necessary? And what is the difference between an outlaw and a freedom fighter?

These are the questions of our day. These are the concerns of the Occupy Movement–these are the concerns of the Tea Party—these are the concerns of civil rights activists—these are the concerns of every tax payer in the entire world and they are explored in the new novel Tail of the Dragon.

It is for these reasons that you will find the book under the philosophy section of a book store as opposed to general fiction because it is not intended to only entertain, but to bring about thought and to directly compete with Karl Marx and Sir Thomas More who have contributed much to modern philosophy which is at the root of so many modern problems globally. America has a unique philosophy that developed as a result of its independent nature and it deserves more spokesmen for liberty than it currently has. Tail of the Dragon is dedicated to this objective. So I invite you to take the journey down the Tail of the Dragon for yourself and discover a world you didn’t know was possible, and restricted yourself from even thinking about, because when you come to the end of this book, you will see the world in a new way—a way that should make your life and those around you a better one. Sometimes the right thing to do is to break all the rules, and in this book, you will get the chance, because the answers to life are not in the legislative halls of our governments, but in our own hearts and minds—and to listen to those voices we must break free.

Tail of the Dragon ends with the President of the United States trying to piece together an America embroiled in civil war, a war between individuality and the theories of collectivism. It is in the Oval Office that Tail of the Dragon comes to grips with the definitions of American spirit and the rights of individuality in a never-ending quest for freedom that extends beyond the borders of The United States to societies the world over.

For more information on the book begin your journey at Tail of the Dragon Book.com. The book is ultimately dedicated to every person who has received a speeding ticket or fears getting a traffic citation and suspects that the fines are just another form of unjust taxation. This book is a chance to strike back at a justice system that is taking our nation in the wrong direction with a political philosophy that erodes human freedom.

Help start the fires of the next revolution by fanning the flames with this new and unusual book.  Become a fan of  Tail of the Dragon on Facebook below, and send this to a friend to help those flames spread, and take back what has been lost through many years of neglect, personal apathy, and open manipulation.

Celebrate the Fourth of July: Tell the pot bellied pigs in the United Nations to dig!

Prints of the photos on this site can be found here:  http://sharpwriter.deviantart.com/#

There is a lot of stress over the treaty shown below that the Obama administration through his progressive Secretary of State Hillary Clinton—the old bra burning hippie from the sixties—is making in a deal with the United Nations to ban firearms the world over, particularly in the United States.

http://www.reuters.com/article/2009/10/15/us-arms-usa-treaty-idUSTRE59E0Q920091015

If one looks at a political map, the red states and blue states, it will become readily apparent that the progressive radicals like Obama and Hillary reside in the high urban areas and coastal cities. But in the heart of the county, they are not liked and there is a lot of red in America. If Hillary attempted to give a speech at the Annie Oakley Festival in Darke County, Ohio at the end of July, she would be booed to no end. If Obama attempted to give one of his communist speeches at a NASCAR event he would be embarrassingly scorned, and he knows it. The heart of the country does not like these people and their imposing regulations and theories of collectivity. That’s why Obama tends to speak at public schools when he comes to Ohio, because public schools are institutions of progressive philosophy openly advocating socialism, and he is on safe ground. But people in general do not like progressive politicians.

Obama and Hillary along with the rest of their progressive utopians live in liberal hotbeds of the country that are densely populated with illegal immigrants, welfare recipients, the mentally challenged, and the down and out who do not have the fight in them to get up and try again. Social losers tend to vote the progressive way because they have given up at trying to make a life for themselves under capitalism, so they embrace socialism because they are a lazy and defeated people. Obama and his minion Hillary maintain the illusion of their popularity by only speaking to these types of people. Even when Obama came to Cincinnati to speak about the Brent Spence Bridge reconstruction project he picked a concrete factory that is built right next to one of the largest homosexual nightclubs in the whole Midwest, so that he would have a friendly audience to clap at his avocation of socialism. Obama knows who his supporters are, and the strong backbone of America is not it. Obama to maintain power must pander to gays, abortionists, illegal immigrants, Marxist radicals, school teachers, drug addicts, racists, feminists, revolutionaries, globalists, and the dirt poor who are too lazy to get off their couch to get a can of beer from their refrigerators.

It was not an accident that Joe Biden cancelled his trip to Hamilton a few weeks ago to speak from a government controlled, public union infested firehouse to beat on his chest about the defeat of Issue 2. Even as organizers tried to drum up enough people to generate a crowd among the public employees, there wasn’t enough to fill the screen for the cameras. So they called it off to save the embarrassment. People like Joe Biden or Barack Obama could not stop by the Grand Ol’ Pub in West Chester and expect crowds of general citizens to show up and cheer them to victory, because those people don’t exist in the heart of America. Instead they would encounter anger, and open hostility. The secret service personal has given Obama and his team the risk assessments and they aren’t good. So they stick close to government buildings where they control the crowd with government employees.

So trust me dear reader when I say this—there will not be any treaty that will take away our guns. The old hippie Hillary does not have a right to negotiate a treaty that takes away American guns with the United Nations because the guns protect us from power-hungry politicians like Hillary and Obama, and they will not be given up. It’s not going to happen. They can make the deal, but it won’t be worth the paper it’s printed on. They do not have the power to send the military into the heart of the country and take away guns. They might want to, but they can’t because it would be a slaughter.

They won’t because they can’t even speak at a NASCAR event due to the embarrassment they would be exposed to, and there are a lot more conservatives in the country than these hippie progressives, and once it is realized that Hillary has sold America up the river, and Obama pocketed the profit, there will be open hostility.

On the Fourth of July it is refreshing to sit on my front porch and listen to the hundreds of thousands of people all over the countryside breaking the law by illegally firing off fireworks. The Fourth of July is not about parades and politicians kissing babies, but it’s about rebellion. It’s about defiance. It’s about thumbing noses at authority. The police are helpless to arrest everyone, so they stand down. When the police have attempted to come down my street and enforce firework laws in years past they have encountered intense hostility and it simply isn’t worth the trouble—so they don’t do it any more.

The same thing will happen with 100 times the magnitude if Hillary and Obama make a deal with the United Nations to grab all of Americas guns. The hostility will be tremendous and finally the sleeping sheep of America will realize that they have all along been wolves, and there will be a lot of hunting going on.

The gun laws work in New York because the people who move there want what New York has. They tend to sacrifice many of their values to see if they can make it in the Big Apple, so giving up their guns are not a big deal—because they lack values to begin with. But if those same gun laws were brought to Kentucky—LOL, forget about it. I would love to see the entire military and National Guard attempt to go door to door in Slade, Kentucky and collect their guns. That won’t happen in 1000 years. If the federal government thought it was hard to find Bin Laden in Pakistan when we always knew he was there, wait till they try to enforce gun laws in the rugged parts of the United States.

Yes, the military might try to carpet bomb targets they suspect are the most hostile resistance, but they can’t bomb everyone, and everyone will be against them. And for the military to operate it requires recruits from the core of the country, and tax dollars to fund it, and if that gets cut off, there will be no planes to fly. There will be no military without tax dollars to keep it going, because the inner cities who support Obama and the gang don’t make anything. Most of Obama’s supporters are leeches on society and cannot come to his aid to enforce gun laws, because they are too lazy and economically useless. It is the gun owner who pays the most taxes in America. It is the gun owner who makes the government possible, and it is the gun owner who can take it away.

That is why anything Hillary does with the United Nations is useless. I personally do not recognize the United Nations as a viable government entity. It means nothing to me, and I believe America should cut all funding to it. It allows all the member nations to believe they are equal to America even when they have governments that embrace socialism. It gives those governments the illusion of being equal to the United States and they are not, and should not be allowed to believe such things. By cutting them off American tax dollars through UN support it would force those countries to realize they are functioning from a failed political philosophy. I can say that no member of the United Nations has any control or command of my life, and they never will. I don’t even listen to the politicians in my own community let alone some pot-bellied pig in Geneva.

So worry not dear readers. Hillary is as toothless in her ability to make gun grabbing deals with the United Nations as Obama is in forcing Americans to buy healthcare. We are getting ready to remove our government in America with one that more reflects traditional values. We will attempt to do it peacefully through elections, or we will do it with force, but progressives are about to lose their power.

For the progressive to have power they must take away the greatest weapon that can slaughter them forever—and that is the truth. They have managed to make the “truth” unfashionable. They have made it so we cannot speak the truth without hurting someone’s feelings or committing acts of racism. Whenever we deal with government this seems to be the tactic, even at the local level of the government school. When a school says they need tax increases for the children, while at the time employees give themselves massive raises and extravagant vacations, they are lying and using the removal of the truth as their means of executing their crime of theft. I declared my independence from these idiots by calling them Latté Sipping Prostitutes with asses the size of car tires and everyone who reads here knows what a fall out there was because of it. But I had more people who thanked me for saying it than the 70 people who hated me, and that scared the shit out of the progressives who attempt to run my community with manipulative influence. Rush Limbaugh the same week I had my ordeal with the local progressives called a progressive spokeswoman for the Obama clan a prostitute and boycotts were threatened against his advertisers. Progressives screamed victory. But the economic reality is that advertisers aren’t stupid. They made a public stand against Rush, just like the newspapers and media outlets around Cincinnati did toward me—to pander like slaves to the progressive fools—but then it was realized that Rush Limbaugh has 15 million listeners and no advertiser in their right mind would turn away the revenue they can make off that audience to appease some progressive ex-hippies. The boycott faded away and Rush is still on the air with no shortage of advertisers wanting to direct their products to his audience.

You see, there is a reason people like Rush, people like Glenn Beck, and more than 100 people stopped me within one month of my standoff and thanked me for saying what they always thought—because the core of the country knows they are being screwed over by Obama and the gang, and they don’t like it. And they are close to fighting back right now, and Obama’s team knows it.

So on the Fourth of July, relish the sound of the thousands of fireworks that fill the countryside deep into the night—each of them breaking the law.  Watch the videos on this article, clean your guns and kiss the barrel like it’s your first-born son or a treasured daughter, because it is there to preserve your freedom from the tyranny of an encroaching government. But the best thing you can do for yourself is to declare your independence from the control of the progressive. Feel free to speak the truth, it feels good, because as long as a majority of America politely holds their tongue so to avoid being called names by the progressive types, you give them power over you. It allows looting politicians like Obama and the bra burning hippie Hillary to believe they have a right to give America away to the United Nations. While they campaign in safe zones like homosexual nightclubs, public schools, and firehouses, they pretend that all of America endorses them, and they don’t. Progressives believe they are good, intelligent, and special because they do not hear what people really think about them, because conservatives hold their tongues and their manners. This allows the progressive to believe that they have support they do not have.

So free yourself from that burden and speak the truth. Declare your independence from the tyranny of having the strongest weapon in your arsenal removed from the battlefield of ideas—the weapon of truth. Speak it openly, and set yourself free, and let the punks, the losers, and the progressive politicians know what you really think of them. Because now is not the time for violence, because the weapon of the truth has not yet been employed, and once it is, progressives have nothing to stand on and no money to use to attempt to get it. It is the gun owner who holds all the cards, and the best card in the deck is the truth. Use it and you will find your progressive foes are toothless bureaucrats that can do nothing but call people names and spend money that is not their own. Take those things away from them and they have nothing to use against you.

Take away the money progressives use, fail their school levies, fail their police levies, and cut all government employees so there aren’t enough of them to even think about going door to door to take away our guns and force Americans to comply with foolish United Nations mandates. Vote out every politician who supports anything but tax decreases, and don’t let them think they are important members of some invisible European political class. In America a politician is just one step above scum, and fancy talk can’t mask the fact. Make sure to remind them of that from time to time, instead of letting progressives believe they are gods on earth with your silence. Because you see dear reader, as the video below will remind you, there are two kinds of people in this world–people with loaded guns, and those who dig.  It’s time we hand the progressives a shovel.

Why Americans Love the Bald Eagle: The crows, buzzards, and ducks of our government

I have always had a conflict when watching air shows at the concept of formation flying.  Of course this idea of formation flying comes from watching birds like geese flying in a triangular pattern.  Mankind wishing to fly adopted this tendency, so when airplanes were invented, we executed the practice in reality.  The trouble is flying; or rather the romance of it is a solitary endeavor.  It’s an achievement of mankind’s success to be able to take to the skies and reach for the heavens under the power of a machine invented in the mind of man.

But as any game hunter will tell you who are hunting ducks, or geese, they love the tendency of those collective oriented birds to fly in formation because it makes them easier to shoot down.  When I look at a duck, or a goose, I do not think of independence or the freedom of flight.  I just see a stupid creature that travels in packs blindly following a leader and I despise such creatures.  When I look up into the sky and see a flock of birds flying about I do not have envy of any kind for them, even though they have the added dimension of flight in their physical abilities.  I see them as unintelligent, just as I do when I see human beings behaving in flocks on the ground.

This is why America adopted the American Bald Eagle on June 20th 1782 as its national symbol.  The bald eagle was a large creature that had a solitary nature and once they found a mate they stayed together until one died.  Eagles are strong, they can fly up to10,000 feet and are at the top of the food chain regarding the bird species.  They resembled the idea of what an American is.  Because of these traits they were adopted as a national symbol for America.

Eagles are not collectivists.  They don’t even migrate with their young, and often not even with their mates.  Eagles tend not to nest near other eagles unlike buzzards and other collective oriented raptors.  Eagles spend most of their time alone and like it that way.  It would simply be an insult to come to a tree full of eagles hanging around socializing and waiting for something to eat.  Such a thing just does not happen in nature.   If such a thing were to be seen it would cheapen eagles dramatically.

The reason we do not respect crows, buzzards, geese, ducks and dozens of other bird species is because we innately see them as a weaker class due to their tendency toward collectivism.  If an eagle were to be shot by a hunter with the same gun that had just killed a buzzard even though both raptors are large and majestic, we would feel a profound sadness for killing the eagle, and probably nothing much for killing the buzzard.

Human beings see such creatures as buzzards and crows as predatory scavengers who wait for something to die so that they can swoop down and eat a carcass.  They are nature’s welfare recipients.  They are collectivists and we tend to look down our noses at them.

But the blad eagle is a creature that hunts their prey and kills it cleanly—with work and superior speed.  We admire the eagle because they are the best at what they do, and they don’t look for help in doing it.  It is for reasons like this that we admire the bald eagle as representatives of American citizens.  Bald eagles are what Americans know they should strive to become, individual predators for their own welfare.

This is why I think it is disgraceful to see a flock of American warplanes flying in formation.  When I met the Thunderbird pilots a few years ago at an air show, I did not look at them with awe.  I admired their piloting abilities, but as I shook their hands, I realized that they were simply collectivists who followed orders from their military superior.  They flew in formation like geese and did what they were told.  Because of that, I had less respect for them.

It is for these reasons that the old Tom Cruise movie Top Gun is still revered as a classic American film.  There’s a bit of Maverick in all of us—the kind of person who wishes to go it alone and march to the beat of their own drummer, to thumb their nose at authority and give them the finger while doing it.  Americans were never intended to fly in formation.  They were not intended to cooperate with the crows, the buzzards and the geese of the world.  Can anyone imagine an eagle sharing its food with a group of buzzards?  How about an eagle sharing its kill with a flock of crows?  What about an eagle plucking off little bits of flesh from a slain fish to feed to a flock of ducks swimming around helplessly on the surface of a lake?  Such thoughts are absurd.  Yet our modern government of ducks, buzzards, and crows proclaim that all the American Eagles of society should do just that.

In nature, which the tree hugging parasitic hippies seem to worship, the bald eagle would eat the ducks if they got in its way.  They’d slaughter a whole tree of buzzards because the buzzards are individually cowards who do not know how to fight.  And a whole flock of geese could be slain by one eagle should the eagle desire to do so.  This is why Americans are the eagles of the world and why they tend not to be politicians.   Buzzards and crows become politicians, and they have tried to bend nature with rules of their own requiring eagles to hunt for them as they sit in the tree and wait for a dead carcass to be delivered to their feet in the form of taxes.

No matter how politicians attempt to frame the issue, or Hollywood tries to glorify collectivism, Americans do not like collectivists.  Their favorite movie stars are individuals.  Their favorite movies promote individualism.  And their military heroes are solitary, not collective.  At air shows it is not the acrobatic collectivism that amazes audiences, but the one Marverick in those planes that would break out of formation and shoot down 5 of the enemy all by themselves.  The thought of such a thing are what puts smiles on the faces of the young and old alike.  The reason for it is the same as why America selected the bald eagle as its national symbol.  It is also why progressives would like to change the national symbol from an eagle to a flock of ducks.

Enjoy your Fourth of July, and honor the eagle with a special respect as you fire off your fireworks defying the law—which has proclaimed them illegal in most states.  The Fourth of July is about honoring the eagle in each of us, and that is not to be taken lightly.

The Evil of Obamacare: Insurance actuaries conduct a parasitic symphony

The reality of Obamacare is not that it will help poor people have health insurance even though that’s the way it was sold. It’s about creating more government jobs at the IRS. It’s about creating more college degree positions as insurance actuaries. And it’s about giving near monopoly power to insurance companies. To hear the numbers for yourself listen to Nathan Bachrach from the show Simply Money on 55 KRC speaking with Darryl Parks on 700 WLW.

Government healthcare is about job creation and using tax money to create those jobs. It has nothing to do with healing the sick, but in keeping more people sick longer so that the medical profession can profit off that sickness. Insurance actuaries are one of the fastest growing professions in the United States right now. By looking at the link below it can be seen what they are projected to make each year, and the year to year growth of that industry. The reason for the growth is the government takeover of healthcare or rather the threat of it over the last 20 years.

http://www.bls.gov/ooh/Math/Actuaries.htm

I personally seldom claim against my insurance. When I get a cut on my skin, I fix it myself. When a tree falls on my house, I take care of it. When my cars are in accidents, I most of the time handle it myself. I do not go to the doctor unless something is really wrong, and I seldom ever get sick. To an insurance actuary I am a gift to the insurance company because I never use it, yet I pay for the service. Insurance companies make most of their money off people like me. Insurance works by having more people pay into a service than they actually use. If more than 25% of the contributors file claims, the insurance company has some serious problems since the payout often well exceeds what individuals have contributed unless they’ve participated in the insurance for a decade or more.

Insurance actuaries help the insurance companies assess these risks so that they can hedge their finances and make a profit. If the insurance provider has too many customers who are high risk, the insurance company will go out of business. When government gets involved such as they did in the 80’s when they mandated car insurance for all drivers, they did not do it for the good of the people, but for the job security of the insurance actuaries who were concerned that the risk of driving a car placed numerous unforeseen statistics into their equations and made profit nearly impossible for the insurance companies who had to compete with other companies in the free market for business. To compete insurance companies had to lower their rates to dangerous levels that did not give the insurance actuaries much to work with on profit forecasts. A good driver could randomly be hit by a bad driver, which completely wrecks the work of the insurance actuary with unpredictability.

Government mandated that all drivers who wished to have the “privilege” of driving in their state purchase insurance so that insurance companies would no longer have to drive down their prices to compete with each other to lure customers. Insurance companies were given an oligopoly of power by state and federal government to guarantee insurance companies a share of all drivers on the roadways so insurance actuaries would have stable numbers to work with in their statistics analysts.

Because the insurance was mandated by the state, insurance companies were able to charge whatever they needed through their oligopoly power. If a high portion of the drivers on the roadways had too many accidents then insurance rates could increase collectively upon the advice of their insurance actuaries to maintain their profits. One insurance company did not have an advantage over another because they were all guaranteed a portion of a state’s driving population. This made life predictable and profitable for insurance companies, and the state governments were also able to make money through their court system by imposing fines (taxes) they otherwise wouldn’t have had—such as the DUI laws designed to generate so much revenue from the courts. All this was the result of extensive lobby power in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. The original villain was insurance actuaries attempting to get stable statistics for the companies they worked for.

Now, as to healthcare, government through public sector unions already has their hands in the nursing profession. They already use Medicaid and Medicare to inject money into the system that it might not have through natural competition which has artificially propped up the level of medical activity. Because of Medicaid and Medicare people use medical services because they can, which really screws up the life of the insurance actuary by wrecking statistic models. On top of that, doctors have been involved with false billing that has really put stress on Medicaid and Medicare since the money is easy to get through the government bureaucracy.

Government has went to a lot of trouble to encourage citizens to take up occupations in the medical industry such as nurses, doctors and everything in between through the university system set up by the Department of Education, and government now has to guarantee that there are jobs for all those people even though it would appear that medicine is moving away from the traditional pharmaceutical treatments and more to regenerative health. Insurance actuators do not like that prospect. They need people to use their service and regenerative health would mean that high cost medical treatments might be a thing of the past. After all, doctors need to have patients, and nurses must care for the sick, otherwise there isn’t any job for those people to do. So insurance actuators aware of this situation have informed their company CEO’s of the danger, and those CEO’s have lobbied congress on K-Street to help bring stability to their industry in these changing times. After all, with the avalanche of an aging United States population coming, they want to keep traditional medicine rolling along to support the financial empires they’ve built the industry into. So they want government to do what they did for auto insurance—they want the government to bring stability to the market for their benefit—so their actuaries will have stable numbers. Once the entire population is mandated to have health insurance, the actuaries will have real numbers to access risk and will be able to adjust their rates according to the demand.

Obamacare is essentially about manipulating the market with “crony” capitalism which is a long way off from the pure capitalism that I talk about all the time. It’s about creating more government jobs that are propped up with tax dollars those jobs would not have access to any other way. And it destroys competition by creating powerful oligopolies in the insurance industry. Insurance companies have traded their independence from government for financial stability and a guaranteed portion of the future business of the aging nation in America. And it all started with insurance actuaries, then lobby power in Washington to manipulate the situation to their advantage using government to do it.

Progressives like Obama have a goal of global government control so the deal works out well for them. By the time the government power is out-of-control within the decade; the people who operate these insurance companies will have taken their money and ran, leaving the mess to the next generation. And it will be done on the backs of people like me who despise insurance, never use insurance, and act out of self-reliance by using preventative medicine that does not require the current medical system who will pay the most.

Obamacare is a scam that takes away competition, takes away innovation, and will create a society of dependent drug induced derelicts seeking to fulfill their prescriptions at Walgreens in massive herds. Obamacare was created by the pharmaceutical lobby in Washington while holding hands with the insurance industry. And greedy politicians seeing a power grab bit down on the trap enslaving the rest of us for centuries to come, all because of the inadvertent evil conducted in the cubical of insurance companies all across America from the computers of the insurance actuary and their desire for safety, security, and “clean” statistics.

Yet again the path to hell is paved with good intentions and a desire for “safety” to help sell to the American population a concept that will ultimately lead to the destruction of everything we value. Insurance is a collective money racket that kills freedom and forces collective salvation. It hides the grim reality that if none of us were forced to purchase insurance of any kind, or pay for Social Security, or Medicare, that we would more than double our yearly incomes and gain the ability to pay cash for those tragedies that come our way instead of relying on predatory insurance companies to do it for us, which is simply a cleverly disguised form of social contract that attaches the weakest of society to the work of the strongest in a vain attempt at utopia leaving us all victims to the very greedy.

The Storm of Obama’s Presidency: Land of the Free, home of the Brave and broken limbs

The sky was turning black to the north as I rode my motorcycle at approximately 4:35 PM on June 29, 2012 in temperatures of 101 degrees. The sun was beating down on me as I rode home after a tough day, but cumulus nimbus clouds near my home were shooting up into the sky 8 miles away. I knew I was going to hit hard weather before I arrived home and it was going to be painful. I left my home earlier without a cloud in the sky and the heat was intense, so I left my helmet on its hook. All I had was a leather jacket and my Gargoyle sunglasses to protect me from what was coming.

As I approached Beckett Ridge, the sun was blotted out by the quick-moving storm moving south-east quickly. Lighting struck a mile ahead and I could see the distant hills embroiled in a mist. That usually means heavy rain. But not this time. This time the visual obstruction was something worse.

These kinds of things are not felt within a car the way they are on a motorcycle which is the primary reason I ride a motorcycle every day. Life is experienced much more sharply from a motorcycle seat. And most of the time, it is an exhilarating feeling. But when passing through massive storm cells on the open road, it can be very painful, and this was going to be one of those times.

Ahead about a mile down the road I saw the traffic lights and roadside signs begin to kick around violently. My location was without a breeze of any kind and was still a stagnate 101 degrees. The traffic light I was sitting at didn’t move a bit. So I knew I was looking at an oncoming weather front that moved just ahead of the terrible storm. I braced myself by holding onto my handlebars with extra strength so the oncoming wind would not push me off my motorcycle as I ground my teeth together to endure the invisible wave.

The phone on my hip began to vibrate. It was my wife. She knew I was riding home, yet she called over and over again. I knew she wouldn’t do that unless there was a very serious situation. My first thought was that somebody had died. But I could not answer because I had to hold on with all my strength as the traffic light I was stopped at suddenly went horizontal as the wind grabbed hold of it and ripped it about its mooring like a toy. My wife wanted to tell me that a terrific gust of wind had struck our home and toppled trees. That that vacuum from the sudden drop in pressure had blasted open windows, and displaced attic seals. She wanted to tell me that she thought our house had been hit by a tornado and that it was headed straight for me.

On my motorcycle I could not answer the constant attempts to call me because the wave of air hit me hard. Debris caught in a powerful gust of wind struck my face as my Gargoyle sunglasses deflected the hundreds of tiny pebbles away from my eyes. Cars around me pulled off the road as dust, parts of cloud, sheets of rain, and many small particles blasted south like millions of individual projectiles. I held on, gave my big motorcycle gas and just plowed through the wind directly.

I was still angry over the health care ruling by the Supreme Court the day before and the storm I found myself in seemed to be an appropriate metaphor for my feelings. The defection by Justice Roberts hit me in a similar way as this storm did, like a gust of gut busting wind coming from nowhere in the intense heat carrying with it millions of tiny dangers. My wife was calling me to get me off the road, to find shelter someplace. But I was not in the mood to avoid danger, but instead headed straight into it with my motorcycle defying logic.

On the backside of the wind gust was a 35 degree sudden drop in temperature that could be felt within 5 seconds of first being hit by the wind. The gusts of wind wanted to knock my motorcycle into the other lanes of traffic. So I leaned into them to stay straight on the road. The more this happened, the faster I went. At one point I had moved my speed up to 70 MPH to offset the force of the wind counting on my forward momentum to help keep me on the big bike. Being aggressive has a way of helping maintain control when danger is near. I was able to go faster the closer to home that I got as more cars left the road to wait out the storm. Small pellets of rain were beginning to fall and they felt like a thousand bee stings anywhere I didn’t have protection for my skin.

As I pulled into my driveway I could see some minor damage to my house and the results of downed trees. The area around my house was a debris field of broken limbs lying across the road and leaves torn from their branches. At one point an entire branch laid across the road completely blocking my path and rather than attempt to go around it, I plowed right through as my motorcycle cut through the branch like a saw, which surprised me. I expected a violent bump, but instead it was the branch that yielded. That was the kind of mood I was in as I parked my motorcycle in the garage calmly to find out who had died.

I was relieved to find out that my wife was simply worried about me, although needlessly. The damage around our home had made her worry what would happen when I hit the same thing on the open road. We’ve been in violent storms before on that motorcycle, but now that she wasn’t with me, she wasn’t thinking the way I was, which was turning to attack mode to deal with the crises.

As I looked the damage over from the fallen trees I simply thanked the storm for knocking out of my yard all the trees that were too weak to survive. I realized that it had been a while since we had a good storm, and many of the area trees had grown heavy with branches they could not structurally support under difficult conditions. So when those conditions arrived, the trees and their branches simply broke.

I realized that the same thing had happened to our country over the health care ruling. The weak branches of our society will be ripped from their growth. They will be knocked from the trees that support them, and they may not survive. I realized that unconsciously this is why I ran over that branch in the road instead of simply going around it. I had contempt for the branch because it had broken—because it could not withstand the heavy wind—because it allowed itself to grow unstable, like our national economy.

When confronted with the crises I leaned into the wind and plowed through it the way I do everything. People who behave like this are those who survive. Those who simply yield and break find themselves victims to the storms of this world. I explained to my wife that I would not have gotten off the road even if I saw a tornado in front of me, because I was not about to be turned away from my destination by the force of another condition. As I said it, I knew I wouldn’t drive straight into the heart of a tornado, but I would certainly do the absolute minimum deviation from my path to avoid it.

Like the branch, I did have contempt for those who pulled off the road seeking safety in grocery store and bank parking lots. They were like that big branch I ran over, yielding to the force of nature and becoming a victim to a force greater than they are. But during my ride home I did see hope. Traveling south, the opposite way as me, was another motorcycle rider who waved to me as he passed by laughing like a child on their first amusement park ride. He was caught up in the wind gust and riding it like a surfer does an ocean wave, and he was having the time of his life. He wore World War 1 style flying ace goggles with a business suit soaked to the bone and a neck tie flailing about over his shoulder. The dangerous trip home was worth it just to see that guy on the road with me laughing at the storm’s menace and embracing the adventure of a volatile day. It was worth the pain and danger to see that there are still Americans out there who embody the characteristics of “bravery.”

It’s in the storms of life that we discover what we are made of. That’s when we learn who are destined to become broken branches and downed trees. Who will pull off the road and hide, and who will barrel on through. And who will live and who will survive—by enduring tragedy. The health care vote by the Supreme Court was a giant storm that hit our nation. And it was painful to watch and listen to. But the bad guys have been caught in the wind, and those who are weak and have grown too big to endure have found themselves lying on the ground like so many downed trees.

As I looked at one of my downed trees I suddenly had the thought that I was looking at the Obama Presidency—a large tree that had grown quickly and without proper support. A large wind had exposed its weaknesses and it had broken under its own weight and was now a failure laying about in my yard. And such things are not useless entities that had completely failed in their life. The tree in my yard will make excellent firewood, just like the Obama Presidency. This winter, that tree will burn well in my fireplace. And the memory of Barack Obama will also be used for firewood to keep the fires of liberty burning long after the storms of the day have passed.
