The Kroger Marketplace: West Chester Trustees say no

What is expected out of politicians?  Well West Chester, Ohio is becoming the epitome of good government and correct management.  Traditionally, local politicians eat out of the hand of power players, developers, and social-climbing national politicians—but not this time when one of the most financially solid communities in all of Ohio rejected a developer submission for a Kroger Marketplace.

“The problem was not Kroger, it was the developer,” Trustee President George Lang said.  Strong words more reminiscent of a fiscal manager than a political pet sent shock waves through the development community where a clear message of quality emanated beyond the business as usual approach many have come to expect over the years.  Lang knows that West Chester is a lucrative spot for any business to locate, and if they wish to, they have expectations to live up to—and if they don’t—they will be turned away.

Late in January, the township zoning commission had recommended approval of a zone change to allow a 133,000-square-foot Kroger Marketplace store, along with a gas station and space for retail, offices and restaurants.  That was expected as zoning commission officials are often corrupted with Agenda 21 type training, and are willing to bend over backwards for any type of development plan that reflects their world view.  Those same zoning officials denied the development last year after neighbors voiced concerns about safety and traffic issues.

Developer Silverman and Company Inc., of Blue Ash, resubmitted the plan, scaling back some out lots and adding a five-acre green-space buffer in an effort to appease residents. But without firm promises related to the buffer, commissioners wouldn’t sign on.  This was reported here at Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom with the following article.  CLICK HERE TO VIEW

“They wouldn’t give us a timetable on the buffer — or even if one would ever be built,” said West Chester Trustee George Lang. “The property will eventually develop. It may even be a Kroger Marketplace, but this was not the right plan.”

http://www.cincinnati.com/story/news/local/west-chester/2014/03/11/west-chester-trustees-nix-groger-marketplace/6308705/

Lang called the bluff on the developer who did exactly what always happens, they found major resistance to their development plans by local residents–the developer marked up their drawings to show a “compromise” then re-submitted expecting weak-kneed politicians to yield ultimately dejecting the protesters.  In this case a buffer zone was needed between the residents and the development and the developer ignored those needs.  Most trustees would salivate all over themselves to have a shot at a development like what the Kroger Marketplace would bring to West Chester and could pat themselves on the back for years at luring such a thing during their tenures.  But what often gets left out of these types of discussions is a sense of quality that becomes part of the neighborhood instead of an imposition upon it.  The West Chester trustees led by Lang are insisting on a standard that is high, but the results will yield a much higher quality community in the long run.  It is to Kroger’s advantage to build a marketplace in West Chester—but it is up to the management of the area to make sure that when it is built, it is something the community can be proud of for decades instead of being outdated and useless 15 years from now.

Developers are often good people who bring a lot of good things to the table.  Without them, nothing would happen.  But often, because they are more interested in passing their projects through a maze of regulations, financial pitfalls, and political haggling, they are short-sighted by their very nature.  They don’t see very far down the road or consider the philosophical impact of their projects—only the economic ones—and at that, only a few years beyond completion.  However, proper management dictates having the long view in mind as well as the short, and in the case of this Kroger Marketplace the developer was only looking at the short–a nice new grocery store with all the bells and whistles, but without a buffer zone to protect real-estate investment 10 years and 20 years down the road, the negative impact of the development would be detrimental to residents.

It is refreshing to see that George Lang and his trustees are doing the job as good if not better than any community in America currently.  West Chester, Ohio is the model of how every community across The United States and world should strive to mimic.  The lifestyle of West Chester is robust, the personal wealth is extraordinary, the access to goods and services, job creation, and proximity to everything is as good as it gets, and Lang knows it.  What is different is that the West Chester Trustees are not willing to compromise that quality to make developers happy for the sake of favors down the road.  And for that, the people of West Chester have a lot to be thankful for.  If Kroger wants to build a Marketplace in West Chester and enjoy the profile of the community which perfectly suits their business plan, they need to listen to the management of the community–the trustees like George Lang.  They will find that if they do, they will profit as well as the residents he is protecting, and West Chester will become that much better.  But the other options are simply not on the table, and that is something to be grateful for.

Thank Glenn Beck: Dealing with culture instead of the tail of politics

I have on more than one occasion wondered if Glenn Beck reads from this site and gets inspiration for his shows based on the content.  Too many times I have said something on a particular day only to hear him discussing it two days, or two weeks later.  However, the likely scenario is that I share with him the ability to calculate the future based on observational computations and can pinpoint at a particular point in space and time the need to address an issue.  The accuracy of those computations for people able to perform them is as simple as 2 + 2 is 4 or 4 + 4 is 8, they represent a logic that is observable and predictable if the acknowledgment of reality is pure.  This has never been truer than when Beck announced recently that he was done with politics because he saw it as a game, and that he had plans to run his company, The Blaze, as a culture building mechanism as opposed to a political pundit reporting service.

http://www.nationalreview.com/article/372988/new-glenn-beck-eliana-johnson

I have thought this for a very long time, and have pointed often to the modern Star Wars saga and Walt Disney from the past, as tools in this arsenal, which mankind needs desperately.  One episode of a 30 minutes Star Wars cartoon is maybe 100 times more potent than a typical political speech which is often reported by the news in the same way that ESPN reports the happenings of a baseball game.  The real power to change the world is to affect culture not the news that comes from the culture once it’s established.  This is why The White House in a desperate push to get more health care enrollees by the end of March turned to YouTube in an attempt to reach young people.  Most of society is not watching Fox News, MSNBC, or the nightly news on the primary networks—they are plugged into entertainment culture—which molds the ideals that we all function from everyday.  As Beck said in the article linked above, the news is simply the tail of the dog—which is culture.

On so many occasions I have been asked to be a part of the political establishment, as my wife has railed in protest.  She knows what my real talents are, and she doesn’t want to see me distracted with petty pursuits which waste time.  Often elected office is responding to the tail of the dog as it wags it and I would rather deal with the dog.  That is not to say that other people shouldn’t tend to those kinds of things, but everyone has to do what they are good at—and I am at my heart and soul, a culture builder.  From the time that I was a little kid to the present time, I have been obsessed with cultural aspects and how they relate to one another.  In my present form, many consider me to be the most manipulative person they know, because they sense fractions of what I often do to them upon interaction—but in the end they end up thanking me for the effort.  Hind-sight often shows the logic, but foresight proves most will be lost—and I gave up trying to explain it to them a long time ago, because it just slows things down.

There is nothing more important than culture building whether it is a business, an educational philosophy, a family unit, a local government, or a national government, without a proper culture things always go amiss—100% of the time.  It is never important to discuss the tail of a dog, it is important to deal with the dog and by the time a school board makes a decision, or a group of trustees takes action after many meetings and the collaboration of many minds, or a president signs an executive order, the opportunity to solve the problem occurred many decisions ago in the cultural aspects of the decision, not the decision itself.  Culture determines the quality of a decision otherwise all decisions are like throwing darts—you can get close, but accuracy is often random and plagued with uncontrolled variables.

Glenn Beck has announced that he is producing motion pictures, specifically one about Christmas, which is important and another about just how bad Thomas Edison was in his climb to power and how he was used to give power companies a monopoly on every home in America—as designed by J.P. Morgan.  For most of our lives in America we were told that Edison was a tireless worker and inventor who created electricity.  But in reality, he was corrupt and motivated by greed when a pupil of his, Tesla showed far more promise—and innovation.  That part of history has been suppressed culturally which led to the political acceptance of a financial system of electricity delivery designed by a wealthy financier in Morgan to expand his holds and influence in a negative way—a way that still persists to this day—even though lots of options exist.  Beck instead of attempting to discuss this corruption through news outlets is going to take the message to the cultural level and make a movie about it.  This has infinitely more power than thousands of hours of Beck standing in front of chalk boards trying to explain to a few intellectual types the error of their ways.  A movie has the power to reach the masses, and actually change culture.

This is why Hollywood hates John Aglialoro’s efforts at making Atlas Shrugged into three films, the last of which is coming out in the fall of 2014.  A movie is the captured turf of modern progressives, and they want to maintain their ability to impact culture without the competition of other ideals.  Their hatred of the Atlas films is motivated exclusively by this realization.  Beck will experience even more intense hatred as his projects begin to percolate into cultural competition—because the enemies of his work know what is at stake.

So it makes me very happy to hear Glenn Beck declare what his future plans are—because he is once again way ahead of everyone else.  It may not be so obvious today, in 2014, but in 2100 it will be very obvious, and history will remember these efforts in how culture changed in dramatic ways.  One of those molders of culture will be Glenn Beck, and history will owe him a lot of thanks.

Predictions from Ray Kurzweil’s Future: The United Nations of America

I have no doubt there will be a one world government probably only a few years away.  It is already that way in some regards, and the big resistance in the United States is to prevent a slide into socialism and communism which is the current intention of many United Nation members.  It is America that breathes life into any hope of freedom percolating in the world, and that is under full assault everywhere it exists.  The driver of that assault is an instinctual yearning to preserve the old way of doing things.  By old way, I do not mean the traditions which I find valuable, such as a mother staying home with her children, a man who supports his family financially and with logic, low personal debt, and American self-reliance.  My views about life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are very conservative, even by American standards.  However, by the old way, I am talking about tribal rituals rooted in collectivism that are bring shattered at individual independence driven by technology that is replacing the old mythologies and are starving for new ones which will help humankind relate during an exciting and dramatic future.

Within the next 15 years, the cell phone you are currently holding and think to be the pinnacle of technology will become a clunky, useless thing.  The power of it will be the size of a human cell, and it will be able to do far more and will likely function from within your own body.  Aging will become a thing of the past as nanobots will do the work that white blood cells currently do.  Cancer, disease and all forms of illness will be dealt with at the molecular level.  Surgical augmentation will no longer be relevant.  These are things that will happen and as we speak massive computers connected to the World Wide Web are building the artificial intelligence that will drive most of the Twenty First Century.  There is no stopping this now, it is happening as you read this.  In fact, this article is part of the creation of that intelligence as is every smut driven gossip column—it will all be a part of our tomorrow—which most reading will experience, even my readers who are in their 80s.  The failed health care system, Social Security bankruptcies, Medicare depletions and the like will drive us all into these mentioned systems as soon as they become cheap enough to receive in prescription form at a local pharmacy.  How do I know?  Well, Ray Kurzweil has been right about 70% of everything he has predicted over the last 20 years and was on with Glenn Beck talking about his new book How to Create a Mind: The Secret of Human Thought Revealed which is a non-fiction book about brains, both human and artificial. First published in hardcover on November 13, 2012 by Viking Press[1] it became a New York Times Best Seller.[2] It has received attention from The Washington Post, The New York Times and The New Yorker.  Watch Beck talk to Kurzweil below and be sure to watch all the videos on this article for your own education.  What Kurzweil is talking about cannot be stopped, but it can be controlled.  These new technologies require humankind to embrace new philosophies and that is the struggle of our day.

Kurzweil describes a series of thought experiments which suggest to him that the brain contains a hierarchy of pattern recognizers. Based on this he introduces his Pattern Recognition Theory of Mind. He says the neocortex contains 300 million very general pattern recognition circuits and argues that they are responsible for most aspects of human thought. He also suggests that the brain is a “recursive probabilistic fractal” whose line of code is represented within the 30-100 million bytes of compressed code in the genome.

 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/How_to_Create_a_Mind

Ray Kurzweil has made many predictions about the direction of society over the span of several books and has been a controversial character.  He has however been right more often than not, and when he was wrong it has usually been a variation of his predictions that emerged.  To begin to understand, below is a list of Kurzweil’s predictions made in his book, The Singularity is Near from 2005.  It will become clear quickly the nature of his 2010 predictions because we are going through them right now.  Many of those innovations have not yet become mainstream, but do in fact exists, such as computers being embedded in everyday objects, full immersion of audio-visual reality, and that kind of thing:

The Singularity is Near (2005)

2010

  • Supercomputers will have the same raw computing power as human brains, though the software to emulate human thinking on those computers does not yet exist. (IBM Sequoia)
  • Computers will start to disappear as distinct physical objects, meaning many will have nontraditional shapes or will be embedded in clothing and everyday objects.
  • Full-immersion audio-visual virtual reality will exist.

2010s

  • The decade in which “Bridge Two”, the revolution in Genetics/Biotechnology, is to reach its peak. During the 2020s, humans will have the means of changing their genes; not just “designer babies” will be feasible, but designer baby boomers through the rejuvenation of all of one’s body’s tissues and organs by transforming one’s skin cells into youthful versions of every other cell type. People will be able to “reprogram” their own biochemistry away from disease and aging, radically extending life expectancy.
  • Computers become smaller and increasingly integrated into everyday life.
  • More and more computer devices will be used as miniature web servers, and more will have their resources pooled for computation.
  • High-quality broadband Internet access will become available almost everywhere.
  • Eyeglasses that beam images onto the users’ retinas to produce virtual reality will be developed. They will also come with speakers or headphone attachments that will complete the experience with sounds. These eyeglasses will become a new medium for advertising as advertising will be wirelessly transmitted to them as one walks by various business establishments. This was fictionalized in Dennō Coil.
  • The VR glasses will also have built-in computers featuring “virtual assistant” programs that can help the user with various daily tasks.
  • Virtual assistants would be capable of multiple functions. One useful function would be real-time language translation in which words spoken in a foreign language would be translated into text that would appear as subtitles to a user wearing the glasses.
  • Cell phones will be built into clothing and will be able to project sounds directly into the ears of their users.
  • Advertisements will utilize a new technology whereby two ultrasonic beams can be targeted to intersect at a specific point, delivering a localized sound message that only a single person can hear.

2015

  • By now, it is likely that “clean a house” will be within the capabilities of a household robot.

2018

  • 1013 bits (=10 TB) of computer memory—roughly the equivalent of the memory space in a single human brain—will cost $1000.

2020s

  • The decade in which “Bridge Three”, the revolution in Nanotechnology, is to begin: allowing humans to vastly overcome the inherent limitations of biology, as no matter how much humanity fine-tunes their biology, they will never be as capable otherwise. This decade also marks the revolution in Robotics (Strong AI), as an AI is expected to pass the Turing test by the last year of the decade (2029), meaning it can pass for a human being (though the first A.I. is likely to be the equivalent of an average, educated human). What follows then will be an era of consolidation in which nonbiological intelligence will undergo exponential growth (Runaway AI), eventually leading to the extraordinary expansion contemplated by the Singularity, in which human intelligence is multiplied by billions by the mid-2040s.
  • Early in this decade, humanity will have the requisite hardware to emulate human intelligence within a $1000 personal computer, followed shortly by effective software models of human intelligence toward the middle of the decade: this will be enabled through the continuing exponential growth of brain-scanning technology, which is doubling in bandwidth, temporal and spatial resolution every year, and will be greatly amplified with nanotechnology, allowing us to have a detailed understanding of all the regions of the human brain and to aid in developing human-level machine intelligence by the end of this decade.
  • Computers less than 100 nm in size will be possible.
  • As one of their first practical applications, nanomachines are used for medical purposes.
  • Highly advanced medical nanobots will perform detailed brainscans on live patients.
  • Accurate computer simulations of the entire human brain will exist due to these hyperaccurate brainscans, and the workings of the brain will be understood.
  • Nanobots capable of entering the bloodstream to “feed” cells and extract waste will exist (though not necessarily be in wide use) by the end of this decade. They will make the normal mode of human food consumption obsolete.
  • By the late 2020s, nanotech-based manufacturing will be in widespread use, radically altering the economy as all sorts of products can suddenly be produced for a fraction of their traditional-manufacture costs. The true cost of any product is now the amount it takes to download the design schematics.
  • By the later part of this decade, virtual reality will be so high-quality that it will be indistinguishable from real reality.
  • The threat posed by genetically engineered pathogens permanently dissipates by the end of this decade as medical nanobots—infinitely more durable, intelligent and capable than any microorganism—become sufficiently advanced.
  • The many variations of “Human Body 2.0” (as Kurzweil calls it) are incrementally accumulated into this and the following decade, with each organ and body system having its own course of refinement and development. It ultimately consists of a nanotechnological system of nourishment and circulation, obsolescing many internal organs, brain-extension and an improved skeleton.

2023

  • 1016 calculations per second—roughly the equivalent of one human brain—will cost $1,000.

2025

  • The most likely year for the debut of advanced nanotechnology.
  • Some military UAVs and land vehicles will be 100% computer-controlled.

2030s

  • Mind uploading becomes successful and perfected by the end of this decade as humans become software-based: living out on the Web, projecting bodies whenever they want or need (whether in virtual or real reality), and living indefinitely so long as they maintain their “mind file”. Eventually, all human beings (including those with transbiological 2.0 or 3.0 bodies) will migrate to this postbiological state except for those who wish to remain unenhanced: the transbiological era giving way to the postbiological era.
  • Nanomachines could be directly inserted into the brain and could interact with brain cells to totally control incoming and outgoing signals. As a result, truly full-immersion virtual reality could be generated without the need for any external equipment. Afferent nerve pathways could be blocked, totally canceling out the “real” world and leaving the user with only the desired virtual experience.
  • Brain nanobots could also elicit emotional responses from users.
  • Using brain nanobots, recorded or real-time brain transmissions of a person’s daily life known as “experience beamers” will be available for other people to remotely experience. This is very similar to how the characters in Being John Malkovich were able to enter the mind of Malkovich and see the world through his eyes.
  • Recreational uses aside, nanomachines in peoples’ brains will allow them to greatly expand their cognitive, memory and sensory capabilities, to directly interface with computers, and to “telepathically” communicate with other, similarly augmented humans via wireless networks.
  • The same nanotechnology should also allow people to alter the neural connections within their brains, changing the underlying basis for the person’s intelligence, memories and personality.
  • The many variations of “Human Body 3.0” are gradually implemented during this and the following decade; It mostly likely lacks a fixed, corporeal form and can alter its shape and external appearance at will via foglet-like nanotechnology.

2040s

  • People spend most of their time in full-immersion virtual reality (Kurzweil has cited The Matrix as a good example of what the advanced virtual worlds will be like, without the dystopian twist).
  • Foglets are in use.
  • Nonbiological intelligence will be billions of times more capable than biological intelligence.

2045: The Singularity

  • $1000 buys a computer a billion times more intelligent than every human combined. This means that average and even low-end computers are vastly smarter than even highly intelligent, unenhanced humans.
  • The technological singularity occurs as artificial intelligences surpass human beings as the smartest and most capable life forms on the Earth. Technological development is taken over by the machines, who can think, act and communicate so quickly that normal humans cannot even comprehend what is going on. The machines enter into a “runaway reaction” of self-improvement cycles, with each new generation of A.I.s appearing faster and faster. From this point onwards, technological advancement is explosive, under the control of the machines, and thus cannot be accurately predicted (hence the term “Singularity”).
  • The Singularity is an extremely disruptive, world-altering event that forever changes the course of human history. The extermination of humanity by violent machines is unlikely (though not impossible) because sharp distinctions between man and machine will no longer exist thanks to the existence of cybernetically enhanced humans and uploaded humans.

Post-2045: “Waking up” the Universe

  • The physical bottom limit to how small computer transistors (or other equivalent, albeit more effective components, such as memristors integrated into Crossbar latches) can be shrunk is reached. From this moment onwards, computers can only be made more powerful if they are made larger in size.
  • Because of this, A.I.s convert more and more of the Earth’s matter into engineered, computational substrate capable of supporting more A.I.s. until the whole Earth is one, gigantic computer, except for a few nature reserves set aside on the planetary surface for those humans who decided to remain in their natural state. “MOSH’s” (Mostly Original Substrate Human) who choose to remain purely organic would still possess virtual assistants that will act as their transcendent servants, living in the blurred real world (“foglet-reality”) and being provided with environments and everything they could possibly need as they live out the rest of their normal lives unless they enhance themselves.
  • At this point, the only possible way to increase the intelligence of the machines any farther is to begin converting all of the matter and energy in the universe into similar massive computers. A.I.s radiate outward from Earth, first into the Solar System and then out into interstellar space, then galaxies in all directions, utilizing starships that are Von Neumann probes with nanobot crews, breaking down whole planets, stars, moons, and meteoroids and reassembling them into computers. This, in effect, “wakes up” the universe as all the inanimate “dumb” matter (rocks, dust, gases, etc.) is converted into structured matter capable of supporting life (albeit synthetic life).
  • Kurzweil predicts that machines might have the ability to make planet-sized computers by 2099, which underscores how enormously technology will advance after the Singularity.
  • The process of “waking up” the universe could be completed well before the end of the 22nd century, provided humans are not limited by the speed of light.
  • With the entire universe made into a giant, highly efficient supercomputer, AI and human hybrids (so integrated that, in truth it is a new category of “life”) would have both supreme intelligence and physical control over the universe. Humanity will still not possess infinite levels of any attributes, as the accelerating change of evolution never reaches an infinite measure (though it moves rapidly in that direction), becoming, as Kurzweil writes, “moving inexorably toward this monotheistic conception of God, though never reaching this ideal”; even with theories such as the holographic universe. The final chapter however notes that, if possible, the ability to create and colonize other universes (and if there is a way to do this, humanity’s vast intelligence is likely to harness it, as with surpassing/bypassing the speed of light) could allow the intelligence of the human/machine civilization to extend indefinitely, akin to a mathematical singularity. If not, then saturating humanity’s own universe will remain their ultimate fate.

Some indeterminate points within a few decades from now

  • Space technology becomes advanced enough to provide the Earth permanent protection from the threat of asteroid impacts.
  • The antitechnology Luddite movement will grow increasingly vocal and possibly resort to violence as these people become enraged over the emergence of new technologies that threaten traditional attitudes regarding the nature of human life (radical life extension, genetic engineering, cybernetics) and the supremacy of mankind (artificial intelligence). Though the Luddites might, at best, succeed in delaying the Singularity, the march of technology is irresistible and they will inevitably fail in keeping the world frozen at a fixed level of development.
  • The emergence of distributed energy grids and full-immersion virtual reality will, when combined with high bandwidth Internet, enable the ultimate in telecommuting. This, in turn, will make cities obsolete since workers will no longer need to be located near their workplaces. The decentralization of the population will make societies less vulnerable to terrorist and military attacks.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Predictions_made_by_Ray_Kurzweil

When these things happen, it will be excessively important that humankind have a grip on those realities.  In many ways, this is why I write so much about Star Wars, because it offers a mythology that will help religion, political science, science, economics and philosophy deal with these massive changes so that human beings remain in control.  The authoritarian regimes around the world that wish to remain so will find themselves destroyed internally by their grip on traditional methods, such as North Korea, Russia, China and the entire Middle East.  It is impossible for them to maintain control over the masses while individuals all over the world have access to so much information in the palm of their hands.  The same is true of socialism and the desire to spread the wealth across the planet with redistribution.  Such thoughts ignore the nature of productivity and will always fail.  So in regard to these issues, I support a one world government so long as that government is driven by America and no place else.  I am happy to recognize China as a state of America, or Russia, or the countries of Europe, but I am not happy to lose American independence, and economic power to the diatribes of socialism.  I am happy to compete with other countries through capitalism, but not world socialism—primarily because socialism does not prepare the world for the changes coming as predicted by Ray Kurzweil.

Only America is poised to help the rest of the world deal with these changes, so it should be America, and the American Constitution that drives the world instead of the other way around.  We are not talking about an American Constitution that wishes to return the world to 1776 and the conditions of human existence from that time, but the philosophic push to maintain individual freedom over governments so that each and every person on planet earth will have the discipline to behold such power within the realm of their control.  Because if such control falls into the hands of authoritarian regimes by suppressing the flow of information on a world-wide scale, then humankind will regress backwards forever instead of embracing the kind of things that are coming to us within the next decade.

This is the state of our world today and the fight we are all involved with. It is the pinnacle moment in human history—and we are living it—now. Add some more stars to the American flag to represent other countries if everyone wants, but to disband America in favor of global socialism simply isn’t an option.

Clone Wars Season Six: Science fiction of the highest order and a real treat

There are a lot of things in the world more important than the latest Star Wars news…….but then again, maybe not.  I have declared before that The Clone Wars animated series on Cartoon Network is one of the best entertainment venues around.  The work that Star Wars is performing in philosophy, science fiction, political science, and culture building I think is being conducted on an epic scale and is extremely important.  When Disney bought Lucasfilm one of the first things they did was canceled The Clone Wars series because of the contract the show had on The Cartoon Network.  Probably deeper than that, the series had actually become very serious and was dealing with very complicated topics that were clearly not intended for children—but the kind of adults who grew up watching Star Wars.  I’ve watched and read a lot of science fiction over the years.  I was a tremendous fan of the most recent version of Battlestar Galactica, especially the first two seasons.  So I have pretty high expectations when it comes to that kind of entertainment, and I always felt that The Clone Wars was some of the best science fiction being done.  So it was sad to see it canceled by Disney—because the show had gone to a very dark place not really suitable for the Disney Channels. The remaining season 6, called The Lost Episodes remained in limbo until Disney cut a deal with Netflix to release them on March 7, 2014 in 13 episodes which were designed to wrap up many of the story arches created through the first five seasons leading into the film Revenge of the Sith.  Not expecting much my wife and I sat down together over the weekend and watched the new season and let me just say—it was absolutely fantastic.

Season Six of The Clone Wars is just simply some of the best science fiction ever done.  The presentation of the material was just beautiful to look at, the scope of the show was phenomenal, the story lines were deeply complicated, and the content was epic containing many threads of contemporary value.   I personally felt very sorry for the character called “Fives” in the series because I know a lot of people who are in his condition presently—conspiracy theorists that have deep inside knowledge to what is really going on in the world and are unable to communicate those concerns because of the sheer audacity of their claims.  The fate of “Fives” was tragic, but wow, what a way to tell a story.  The whole Kaminio cloning facility plotline was exceptionally beautiful and was science fiction of a top order. It had elements of the old Flash Gordon Republic serials done with modern sophistication and was graphically a thing of wonder.  It was not just good stuff……….but great stuff!  Nobody is making anything close in entertainment as the people at Lucasfilm have been performing on The Clone Wars television show.

It is easy to become overwhelmed with modern problems and to focus too intensely on all the issues of the day.  But I have found that the most effective way to deal with extreme stress and anxiety is with good robust entertainment which is aligned with the things I’m trying to deal with in the real world.  To that end I enjoy Star Wars video games, I simply love the Fantasy Flight game X-Wing Miniatures with a passion, and I of course love the movies—but the television show The Clone Wars is deeply sophisticated and a real treasure.  I often find I have fresh perspectives on real problems after watching them—because the creative minds at Lucasfilm have the liberty to analyze hard problems without the immediacy of political alignments forged by realities.

One complaint that I read about the Season Six Clone Wars was the plotline about the Intergalactic Banking Clan’s financing of the war.  I found that to be the most interesting of just about any aspect of Star Wars in any capacity.  The writers of The Clone Wars were clearly drawing parallels between the real life situation that we have on earth with the Rothchilds, the Buffets, and the Soros types and how they play all sides to their own needs.

In Star Wars, according to Darthipedia.com, the Intergalactic Banking Clan, or IGBC, member FDIC, was a commerce guild organization of the Galactic Republic, headquartered on Muunilinst. It was a union of clans of bankers, proving that those anorexic losers managed to get at least three-fourths of their own damn title correct. Sadly for the pasty-faced goths, every single banker had delusions of grandeur the day they decided to name it “InterGalactic”. Honestly, they could be done by the Trades Descriptions Act.  Y’know, the Intra-Galactic Trades Descriptions Act.

During the Clone WarsSan Hill was the leader of the IGBC. Hill became one of the founding financiers of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, then celebrated by “making it rain,” which did not amuse Dooku at all. The IGBC pledged its ships and battle droids to the Confederacy… wait, battle droids? Ah, well, the Banking Clan kept battle droids as part of its, er, collections division. Their most potent weapons were Hailfire droids. The resultant debts forced San Hill into hiding on Mustafar. Reports that he gained access to a Chameleon Arch and rewrote his biology to become a Human[1] during the Galactic Civil War are spurious to say the least.[2]After the Separatist Crisis ended, Palpatine offered the IGBC a massive, quadrillion-credit bailout and ended up controlling them.

The Clone Wars dealt with this whole subplot and I found it fascinating.  A lot of fans of Star Wars just want to deal with the emotional story points, but Lucas years ago established in the face of much criticism why war often occurs and with his Star Wars, the situation is even more complicated than might be found in the real world of earth.  Watching that kind of science fiction allows a curious mind to begin to understand the level of deception that is required to be a villain, which is the first step in solving actual problems.  But before that can happen, a mind has to grasp the problem.   The politics in Star Wars was always something that I found infinitely fascinating and the Season Six content is nothing short of amazing.  If it was not an animated film set in a galaxy far, far away, but here on earth dealing with the Bilderbergers, it would likely win an Academy Award.  It was that good.

I could go on and on, but the short of it is this, the Season Six Clone Wars: Lost Episodes are worth watching for a lot of reasons.  They are great entertainment, they are involved science fiction, and they are commentary on many contemporary problems.  They were a real treasure that took me quite by surprise. But more than anything they were food for inquisitive minds well worth the time to watch.  If you have access to Netflix, there simply isn’t a better choice available than that show—so you should watch it and enjoy a work of modern art that is quite healthy and robust for its sheer quality and complexity.  That is a series that I will forever miss, but am very glad to have seen the last 6 years worth of wonderful material known as The Clone Wars.

The ending of Season Six, the last three episodes featuring Yoda were deeply touching–and extremely bold.  They will give great hope to people everywhere who desperately need it.

America in Decline: Why the white guys are angry–a progressive travesty

There is no question that Bill O’Reilly is the best news guy in the business today. However, for my tastes he is way too close to the progressive point of view.  He is too cozy with the kind of people who are wrecking our country so I usually watch him the way I would a disconnected parent from another generation who is out of touch with the reality of our times.  The reason I do is because he is simply the best that there is—which says everything that needs to be determined.  Bill O’Reilly tells the truth without spectacle and fanfare.  So it should be quite shocking to many to watch his Talking Points Memo shown below from a few days ago titled, “America in Decline.” I understand the reason he does what he does with the progressive left, he wants to be a good reporter just after the facts, and he feels he will reach more people if he’s fair and balanced.  Largely he is right, he is a bestselling author, he has excellent ratings on his top rated news program on Fox and his stage shows around the country routinely sell out.  By most people’s definitions Bill O’Reilly is the epitome of American success, so they should listen to what he has to say.  If you have not seen this, please do watch it and send it along to a friend.  If you have, watch it again, and again and again.  It’s all true and then some and every point made must be corrected in American culture within the decade, otherwise, we will not survive.  It is that simple.

To those who say that Bill and those who think like he does is just a bunch of angry white guys spewing hate, it’s time to can it.  Those are exactly the kind of people who have delivered us to this precipice.  The angry white guys are “angry” because they have been kind, and fair, and open—and progressives have done all of the above to our country—and we don’t like it.  It is kind of like telling a teenage kid not to have a party while we go on vacation, but while gone, the kid does just that, and when we returned, the house is destroyed.  We will be angry!  It only adds insult to the injury when the stupid kid tells us not to be angry!

All the things Bill mentioned have been done either intentionally, or through severe corruption and outright stupidity.  This is where Bill and I are very different; he is willing to give progressives the benefit of the doubt where I think they have been quite purposeful.  Bill being a strict Catholic guy believes in turning the other cheek to those who vilify him—where I do not.  I think it is more appropriate to cut off the cheek of the villain and feed it to them for what they’ve done.  But we both agree that things cannot continue as they have.

America has been attacked in the same manner that it was during the Pearl Harbor invasion, or the 9/11 World Trade Center terrorist plot.  It has been threatened in a similar way as the Cuban Missile Crises was designed to invoke and has been quite literal.  The trouble is that most Americans did not define what was happening as an attack because guns and hostilities were not openly declared in the traditional sense—so much of what took America to the place it currently is, went unchallenged.

Now we are part of a country that has had its wealth redistributed to unproductive corners of the world, where fairness has been used as a club to crush enterprise, and stylish feelings have overtaken logic.  Probably the biggest sign of the foul play which is amiss is the concluding statements in Bill’s Talking Points, where Lois Lerner testified before Congress yet again and took the Fifth multiple times so not to implicate herself.  Lerner being a high-ranking member of the IRS has refused to answer questions as to Washington’s involvement in the IRS scandal that is at this point much, much, larger than Watergate ever was—and nobody in the media, or the Beltway culture have the courage to face down the obvious evil which is taking place.  If the IRS will do what they have done to conservative groups, they’ll do it to anyone who stands in their way in the future no matter what the political affiliation.  The Lerner corruption at the IRS is testimony in its own way and confirmation that everything so-called radicals like Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh and many others have been saying is 100% true.   It is true until people like Lerner proves otherwise.  They can’t have it both ways, use American laws of innocent before proven guilty, and then use the cover of bureaucracy to commit crimes against America.  That is nothing short of terrorism and the evidence has proven that Lerner is guilty of it.

But what’s worse than what Lerner has done with the IRS, or the major newspapers who refused to cover the story out of ideological commitment to the kind of change they are trying to impose on the rest of us—is that we’ve let them do it.  We’ve been kind, accommodating, and docile allowing them to take the “Fifth” when we know they are hiding something, or lying to us over Benghazi, or the reasoning that energy prices are so high, or taxes are going up, or our health care system has been tampered with, or our jobs are shoved overseas so to “redistribute” them to the gutters of Italy to balance things out with the European Union which has mismanaged itself to the brink of oblivion.  We’ve been nice, and we have been taken advantage of.

O’Reilly isn’t inflating the situation in his broadcast on Fox. He’s point for point being excessively factual. The situation is every bit as bad has he stated and if corrections are not made, we are done as a nation—and it will have been on purpose by the enemies of the nation working within our system of government.   We have been compromised, and we have a right to be angry about it.  Very angry!

D’Souza’s ‘America’: Taking on Noam Chomsky and the progressive assertion of theft

The central premise of the progressive argument which has been the undercurrent of communism for all of the 20th Century, emerging in popular culture during the 1960s—is that The United States was built on theft.  The argument by progressives like Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Noam Chomsky is that America stole their land from the “Native Americans,” that it stole its labor from the African slaves, and that it stole its wealth from Middle Eastern oil.  But the real attack is an old one that was most spectacularly on display during the Russian Revolution of 1917 and was conducted much more subtly in The United States—it is a frontal assault against capitalism hoping to destroy the economic engine of prosperity which progressives stood vehemently against.  Progressivism shaped the mind of Barack Obama and others like him; it was not them who shaped progressivism.  Like termites they believe that their view of the world is the right one and their collective efforts were larger than their individual will—and their aim from day one of their acceptance of progressivism has been to burrow out America into a hollow shell to give back to the world what was stolen from them by capitalism.  This is the premise of the new film by Dinesh D’Souza called America, which will be released on July 4th 2014, and promises to do something that has not yet been done before—take on directly the premise of progressivism in a film by high-profile Hollywood talent—most specifically the great Gerald R. Molen.  Molen has turned from producing Steven Spielberg films to dedicating his talents by producing films which question the basis behind progressivism the way only Hollywood can—and is one of the first obvious defectors from the movie machine in California.

I’m not going to lie, I knew five years ago after attending a film festival that things needed to change.  I had written a few very conservative novels.  My Symposium of Justice opened with a serial rapist being bullwhipped to near death for the deliberate staging of a sexual assault by the city police in order to win more support from the public.  Not exactly the kind of material a 2004 reading public was ready to deal with.  My 2012 novel Tail of the Dragon was about an open civil war against statism done against the backdrop of the great car chase films of the past like Vanishing Point and Smokey and the Bandit.  Readers of my blog loved the novel, but the general public wasn’t sure how to feel about it—as it went against everything most people were trained to consider acceptable.  After a film I worked on in 2008 and understanding the Hollywood culture up-close and personal I changed direction in my life not to fit the times, but to the times I knew that were coming.  Creative people where emerging from their hiding places, people like Glenn Beck, Hollywood defectors like Gerald R. Molen, and Harmon Kaslow.  John Aglialoro went into production on the Ayn Rand classic Atlas Shrugged, and of course Dinesh D’Souza started making movies leading up to 2012: Obama’s America.  The Batman films by Christopher Nolan were certainly making arguments against progressivism on a huge scale.  I saw in Hollywood that progressivism was about to go to court, California had spent itself into oblivion, several American cities were on the edge of bankruptcy, and a radical progressive president had just been elected.  Times were changing and as the people in position to usher in those changes, the masses would need more details to explain to them what went wrong and how they could come out of it.  This has led to the blog site you are now reading which has over 2 million words worth of my opinions, history, and strategy on how to defeat progressivism.  I knew as people like Molen, D’Souza, and Kaslow produced films that would wake up people to the slow cannibalizing of their country by progressivism, that people would need support for their personal journey while coming out of that deep sleep.  So I started Overmanwarror’s Wisdom to help them with the difficult journey of waking up from the terrible sleep imposed upon them for years by respected progressives such as Noam Chomsky.

Noam Chomsky had already written several bestselling books over many years which have been pushed like intoxicants into American students through universities thoroughly corrupting the minds of millions for several decades toward progressivism—really to the doom of American capitalism.  Chomsky’s essential philosophical premise of Universalism is that “we are choosing to live in a world of comforting illusion,” alluding that the truth of American imperialism is theft of other people’s resources exploited by the evil West.  He has sold progressivism with the argument that America should “apply the same ethical principles that we apply to other governments to our own.”  In this way, he and others in intelligentsia have paralyzed conservative America into a defensive posture when attack was the needed strategy.  That paralysis has lasted for at least four decades, but in 2008, the cracks were forming and a collapse was about to occur.  So I determined to help with the transition.

Many wonder why I don’t try to sell my work done here at Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom.  The reason is that I am fighting to preserve America so that the intellect of the buying public is not lost to progressivism forever.  It won’t do any good to sell my work to a bunch of mindless drones and I’m not interested in writing for a drone driven public.  A Wilshire Blvd talent scout told me about 15 years ago, “Mr. Hoffman, your work is too hard-edged, too political, too violent, and too judgmental.  Loosen up a bit, and put some occasional tits in your stories, everybody likes boobies.”  This was a female agent from one of the big firms.  She was telling me how to sell my work so that it would be marketable to the masses.  But that just wasn’t interesting.  What good was a condo in Florida, and a Lamborghini, if America failed?  So I stopped writing for other people and started writing what I wanted to.  And on this blog site, I write what I damn well please at whatever cost.  Because the casualties are strategic objectives that will help pave the way for the other media to gain more of an audience—such as D’Souza’s new film, or the Atlas films by Kaslow and Aglialoro.

In the upcoming film by D’Souza, called America, he will take on directly the premise of Noam Chomsky’s arguments, which for the left is like attacking Jesus Christ.  Chomsky is forbidden territory that has been beyond refuting, and question.  D’Souza will attack the basic foundations of Chomsky and his roots into Immanuel Kant going all the way back to 1785 when the roots of progressivism were forming in Europe.  While Immanuel Kant was publishing his works Critique of Pure Reason, (1781) the Foundations of the Metaphysics of Morals (1785) the Critique of Practical Reason (1788) and the Critique of Judgment (1790) America was working through the difficulties of becoming the first nation on earth to have a free people driven by capitalism protected by a Constitution rooted in Aristotelian logic.   Over the next three centuries countries who followed the lead of America succeeded wonderfully, while those who followed after Kant have suffered under the terrible weight of poverty.  This is where Noam Chomsky gets his foundation arguments about progressivism which have done so much damage.

On July 4th, the progressive left, and right will be very outraged by Dinesh D’Souza’s latest film, but the time has come, and I knew it would for a long time.  My goal was to have thousands of articles available to viewers of these new movies to combat directly the swarms of progressive propaganda that currently exists.  Even with my millions of words produced in defense of free markets and capitalism, there are literally trillions and trillions of words in favor of progressivism.  But the big difference is that there are severe holes in their theory and it has always been the progressives who have conducted the theft—like Robin Hood, where they intend openly to steal from the rich and give to the poor.  The grim reality that Chomsky refuses to see with his Kantian mindset is that the Middle East sat on their giant oil fields for generations, and did nothing with it.  It was capitalism that found a use for it, and made the families of Saudi Arabia wealthy beyond measure.  Without the West buying their oil, the wealth that pours into the Middle East would dry up like a torrential downpour in the desert.  It would evaporate as quickly as it came.   It was America who taught the Japanese how to have one of the world’s most powerful economies, and it is America who buys most of what China produces.  It is America who keeps dictators from overrunning the entire world and it is still NASA technology that makes space travel in Russia possible as our astronauts have been forced by the progressive Obama into hitching a ride with a contentious enemy all in the name of “progressive peace.”  The American Indian, the so-called “Native American” lived life as nomads for centuries regulating themselves to begging the gods for rain so that crops would grow.  The American had science which could help them produce more food under adverse conditions than anyplace on earth.  America has produced so much food that going hungry in America is a choice instead of a random option.   Within two centuries of the mystic Native American dances around campfires asking the gods to bring food to their tribe, McDonald’s restaurants sprung up every 50 miles across America and NEVER run out of food.  It is inconceivable to stop by a McDonald’s and find that they don’t have meat for a hamburger.  Noam Chomsky and other progressives think that the Native Americans had the right approach to life and that McDonald’s is a vile construct of capitalism creating a consumer based culture, and the premise of progressivism is to destroy it forever—preserving the earth with a foolish notion of tribal tribute to ancient gods and human reason being troubled by questions it cannot dismiss, but also cannot answer.  The American seeks to answer all questions and overcome all obstacles as progressives see such behavior as theft—theft of resources that are finite and not renewable by human ingenuity—in the same way that Indians believed Buffalo kills were spiritual gifts, and rain was given because of a stupid dance.

As the rest of the world learns of these falsehoods they have been taught all their lives, it is my intention to give them a safe place to find the answers with a simple Google search.  There are so many articles now on the World Wide Web from me that people all over the world are reading for the first time and having their epiphany moments.  Most of the articles are long, and if I charged money for them, people would skip reading in favor of some pornographic material.  So I offer them for free so that people will be encouraged to study them.  And when people see films like D’Souza’s America, or Aglialoro’s Atlas, or Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar, people enlightened will do their Google search and get the details here at Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom.  They’ll learn how they have been scammed by people like Noam Chomsky, and Barack Obama—for a very, very long time.  A new rebellion of intellectual thought is emerging, and it is the opposite of the one that Nom Chomsky has been a part of for so many years.  The time has come, and not a moment too soon.  But the next step will be the hardest.  It is one thing to have filmmakers like D’Souza make wonderful films; it is another to understand what to do with that information.  For that, I have dedicated myself, and my fortune.  I have been on strike so to speak for several years now, and it has been expensive.  But well worth it, because the fight is not just for wealth, but the quality of minds needed to have commerce with.  Without quality people in America to conduct business with, the quality of the capitalist experience is greatly diminished, which has been the ultimate reason for the progressive attempt to dumb down America through public education.  For them, it was always about attacking capitalism—at any cost—even people’s minds.

The New Jeep Renegade: A vehicle marketed to high school girls and repressed Europeans

High school girls, gay guys, and European men with way too much cologne appear to be the target of Fiat’s newest Jeep, Renegade.  Fiat’s acquisition strategy of the Jeep brand from Chrysler was on full display at the 2014 Geneva auto show.  They revealed what they intend to do with the automotive line nurtured in America and recognized throughout the world as a symbol of rugged individuality and toughness—they turned it into a mini.   Fiat is quite boastful of their skyrocketing sales after their Jeep acquisition.  The new Renegade will be built in some of the former factories crushed by socialism in Italy, and targeted for sale in Europe.  From their stand point, this is a brilliant move, Europe’s roads are too small, the people too tightly packed, and their governments are corrupted by the ghosts of communism.  Because of their mystical beliefs in global warming, Europe’s fuel costs are too high, and their expectations for personal freedom are very low.  For them, Jeep, as it has been marketed out of America under the Chrysler Corporation was representative of American independence, so Fiat has taken that image and smashed it down into something that the rest of the world can enjoy in order to boost sales.  For tightly packed Europe, the dirt roads of India, the washed out trails of China, the forever college students of Germany sung to social sleep by radical professors, the drifting yuppies of Brazil, and the up and coming drug dealers in Mexico, the Fiat version of the Jeep is perfect for them.  But for the American, the new Jeep will be one of those throwaway cars that dads buy for their daughters, or men lacking masculinity will purchase because it’s so “cute.”  The new Jeep Renegade by American standards looks like it might be capsized during a head-on collision with a bicycle.

One of the best vehicles my family ever had was a Jeep Grand Cherokee that we drove all over The United States.  Its powerful inline 6 cylinder engine could pull boats with no problem; it could handle the Appalachian Mountains with ease, and perform well on the highway for long trips.  One specific year my wife purchased a bike rack for the back of our Jeep and we took a family vacation down to Hilton Head Island.  Once we arrived we biked all over the island.  It was my wife, and two daughters with me on that trip and the Jeep had no trouble carrying a bike rack that could haul so many bicycles and still have the girth to plow through the wind, rain, and inclement weather from Ohio to South Carolina.  Inside that Jeep there was plenty of room for all of us to comfortably travel and still pack more than enough supplies for a week of vacationing.  Shortly after that trip, my wife was in a car accident that the insurance company totaled meaning we would lose the Jeep.  She had been hit by another vehicle taking my kids to school as another car slid on the wet pavement during the heavy traffic mornings.  Because the Jeep sat so high off the ground, and was so large, the vehicle took all the impact leaving my family safe inside.   The airbags all deployed and they walked away without any harm.  Initially, looking at the Jeep, I thought the damage was pretty minor.  The bumpers had held up, the fenders where hardly wrinkled, and the lights remained completely intact.  But, since the airbags deployed, the cost of repair was up over $10,000.  It was a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the accident was in the mid 2000s, so the vehicle was getting up in years exceeding the technical value of the vehicle.  However, if not for that wreck, we would still be driving that Jeep to this very day.  If my wife had been driving a Jeep Renegade instead of a Grand Cherokee, my family would have been seriously hurt.

The Jeep brand was fostered by American car companies and spoke to the world of a lifestyle forged from capitalism that they simply couldn’t enjoy.  When Fiat bought the brand from the financially strapped Chrysler Corporation it was clear that the Italian company had plans to use that image to saturate a starving world with a mirage of American freedom represented by the Jeep brand.  Chrysler and General Motors specifically have major labor problems in America largely due to socialism driven by their unions, and could not live up to their own image, leaving them vulnerable in the global marketplace to Fiat.  Fiat has so far sought to shrink down the Jeep vehicles catering to the European market but dressing them up to look like the old Jeeps.  The Fiat Jeep is a kind of Angry Birds version of a Chrysler Jeep; it’s purely gimmicky but has compromised itself to fulfill a larger global strategy of wealth redistribution copying off Americans without the commitment to freedom that comes from such places.  Common in the discussion of economics these days is the “global marketplace” and behind that discussion there is always socialism driving the dialogue. Deep in the hearts of the rest of the world is the belief that America’s wealth should be redistributed to them, and in the case of brands like Fiat’s Jeep, the image is used and repackaged as a version more compatible with countries wrecked with socialism.  The subtle goal is proclaiming that another American brand is now in control of that global marketplace—known as “the public.”  No doubt that President Obama celebrated when Fiat bought up the majority of shares of Jeep stock showing a “partnership” with Italy and America that would resonate with the long-term plan academia has always fostered—a large federation of countries working together instead of being at war with one another.  It is similar to the reasons why men often want to sleep with the attractive wives of men they consider their intellectual and physical superiors—so that they can take something from their rivals that they don’t have in the first place.  Fiat, from Italy is taking from Jeep the American ruggedness and putting their stamp of softness to it so to reap the short-term profits while destroying the brand right in front of America’s bankrupt face—while The United States continues to pour billions of dollars in aid to such European nations through financing The United Nations, military support and intellectual property.  How many global film blockbusters have been produced in France, Italy, or Germany?  What was the latest billion dollar film made in Spain?  ………………………Anyone……………………………………………………………………………….anyone at all……………………………………………………………………………………….I’m still waiting………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………there isn’t one and never will be.  Because books, movies, music that achieve such status are created by free people—Americans—and that isn’t an accident.

The Fiat Jeep is wealth redistribution, not just in jobs that might otherwise have been created in America, but of the essence of American creation, the Jeep as it was conceived by Chrysler.  The Jeep I spoke so highly of, the Jeep Grand Cherokee from 1996 was conceived by Detroit automakers during the Reagan era before Detroit collapsed under the weight of their labor unions.  The Fiat Jeep Renegade is a vehicle conceived by a Detroit that just filed bankruptcy and had to sell off assets to an Italian company who traditionally makes small cars, for small people and their philosophic grip on history.  Surely the new Jeep Renegade will sell well in all the armpits of the world, the minds of Europe still recovering from the Dark Ages, the tribal hunters fresh off the Serengeti who have just spent the day hunting Gazelles because the grocery store had its food shipment confiscated by socialist radicals in charge of the country, or some hut dweller in Cambodia who is working 5 full-time jobs trying to pay for the broken leg his wife incurred during a traffic accident between two bicycles.  The Jeep Renegade will be a treasured vehicle in places like that.  But here in America, they will be driven by 16-year-old girls who think they are cute little “mini” cars, and will fill the parking lots of San Francisco gay nightclubs with air fresheners hanging from the mirrors to cover the odor of their clubbing activities.  But on the road across America these little Fiat Jeep’s will be road bumps equivalent to pot holes for the larger vehicles which are part of a culture which embraces freedom and individual liberty with size, space, and horsepower.  And all those things are missing from the new Fiat Jeep which is an insult to a brand that was built with rugged American history and a yearning for freedom that is unmatched anywhere  in the world—and under assault by yet another foreign company driven by socialism to consume anything and everything that has value.

Becky Higgins OEA Introduction: A tribute to communism “If I Had a Hammer”

In case you missed the opening of the Ohio Education Association’s recent 2014 Collective Bargaining Conference you can see what union President Becky Higgins did that would be hilarious if it wasn’t so indicative of a sinister progressive plot.  If you own property in the State of Ohio, you are putting money into the pocket of this lady and her conspirators at the OEA.  You don’t have a choice because they basically run public education and are locked arm in arm with politicians in Columbus.  The point of the conference was exclusively how to further solidify that relationship and nothing else.  The difference between now and a few years ago was that there wasn’t any media which showed how stupid these people really are.  They had fancy public relations people who could make people like Becky Higgins appear brilliant and sophisticated so that during tax increase time in local school districts people actually thought they were getting a superior product.  But in reality what we have been getting all along is seen in the following video.   Watch and try to hold down the puke:

Watch the rest of these videos too.  They paint a picture of what these people really are.  While watching think how many thousands of dollars you have been forced to give them as a property owner.

It is ironic that Higgins picked that Pete Seegar classic, “If I had a Hammer.”  Do you dear reader know what that song means—besides being a favorite tune from the vile, dirt ridden, pot smoking, greasy hippies of the 60’s when Peter, Paul and Mary made the song into a Top Ten hit?  The song was first performed publicly by Pete Seeger and Lee Hays on June 3, 1949 at St. Nicholas Arena in New York at a testimonial dinner for the leaders of the Communist Party of the United States, who were then on trial in federal court, charged with violating the Smith Act by advocating the overthrow of the U.S. government.[1] It was not particularly successful in commercial terms when it was first released. It fared notably better when it was recorded by Peter, Paul and Mary more than a decade later. Their cover of the song, released in August 1962, became a Top 10 hit.  It was a song dedicated to progressive politics as the communist push in America was in full swing, and the OEA is a progressive, (communist) organization built on the backs of that communist push.  Their desire is to use the labor union hammer to pound society into a collective unity as described by that Seegar song.  Here are the words.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/If_I_Had_a_Hammer

If I had a hammer, I’d hammer in the morning
I’d hammer in the evening, all over this land
I’d hammer out danger, I’d hammer out a warning
I’d hammer out love between my brothers and my sisters all over this land

If I had a bell, I’d ring it in the morning
I’d ring it in the evening, all over this land
I’d ring it in danger, I’d ring out a warning
I’d ring in love between my brothers and my sisters all over this land
If I had a song, I’d sing it in the morning
I’d sing it in the evening, all over this land
I’d sing it in danger, I’d sing out a warning
I’d sing in love between my brothers and my sisters all over this land
Well I got a hammer and I got a bell
And I got a song to sing all over this land
It’s the hammer of justice, it’s the bell of freedom
It’s a song about love between my brothers and my sisters all over this land

The important lines of that song are “it’s the hammer of justice; it’s the bell of freedom.  It’s a song about love between my brothers and my sisters all over this land.”  The freedom they are talking about is not the kind of freedom that is sought in the American Constitution, it is the freedom of the hippie, the free love saps and bra burning bitches mired in pot smoke and corrupt thinking to do what they want, when they want to, to whomever they desire.  It is the freedom to take from the rich and give to the jobless hippie, the scum bag, and the derelict.  If we are all family, according to the song—brothers and sisters—then we should all care for each other like family all over this land.  What they really mean is that whatever personal decisions are made by losers, thieves and depraved social menaces should be forgiven as the value of the good and pure can be robbed and used for the good of all over the entire land.  This is the crap that is being taught to children in school by these progressive organizations—specifically the OEA who by law has their very communist hands in our pockets provided to them by our scum bag politicians and their yellow spins of urine soaked courage.

In the old days the Cincinnati Enquirer and the local papers of every community, particularly those owned by James M Cox made the OEA seem like a good, beneficial government labor union intent to help children.  If you have not read the Progressive Democracy of James M. Cox written in 1920, you should dear reader, so that you will understand how Cox used his newspaper company to spread progressive politics to the masses for the next 80 years.  It is Cox Media who today controls most of the local newspapers and is why they lean very far to the political left in their coverage.  This is why the paper Today’s Pulse gives half page space to the Lakota Superintendent to make her case for public education as any dissenting opinions are “blacklisted.”  Cox’s “progressivism” is the same as the OEA’s progressivism, they are masks for communism and the desire to make all people everywhere equal.  They wish to use their hammer to pound down the strong and exceptional to the level of the lowlife dirt bag so that nobody has to feel bad about the decisions they have made in life.  The communist freedom is freedom from judgment, standards, and expectation which is precisely what the OEA collective barging conference was all about.  CLICK TO REVIEW.

Just a few years ago, before there was an Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom, Cox Media had a monopoly on spreading the “progressive message” in newspapers.  Now they don’t because blog sites, YouTube and independent media are showing the world what people like Becky Higgins and her OEA members are really about.  They are about the hammer of justice and the bells of freedom and all the brothers and sisters of hippie hallucinations pounding the property owners into oblivion until they are taxed out of their properties and into collective ownership of everything.

I have warned people for years of this plot, and slowly people are beginning to put together all the elements and see these things for the real danger they possess.  When people wonder why I haven’t been in the local papers or in the Cincinnati Enquirer or on WLW radio for a while it goes well beyond the time that I called school levy supporters a bunch of fat assessed prostitutes—it is because this blog has more readership on a daily basis and gets far more exposure—and they don’t like it.  They don’t like the competition.  So my time is better spent here than there—and that is why people like Higgins is now exposed where 10 years ago she would have been lauded as a genius for education and the children under the OEA’s care.  Now dear reader you know the truth and they can’t hide it with games and fancy press releases.  The Ohio Education Association is all about the merits of that stupid song “If I Had A Hammer,” a song dedicated to communists and low life progressives who have always wanted to subvert the American Constitution.  And these low life OEA members are given our tax money by other big government loving politicians who confiscate our wealth from property value and use it to do as they said in the interviews from the conference—“change the world one child at a time.”  Aren’t you glad you voted for that last school levy?  Because if you did, you voted for your own destruction and are an idiot.  Your vote keeps people like Becky Higgins in power and in control of Ohio’s youth for a goal that goes well beyond the hopes and dreams of parents.  They are essentially intent to fulfill the hopes of the communist push advocated in the Soviet Union in 1917 and have never stopped.  They just changed their name to “progressive.”

They can wish they had a hammer, but they don’t.  However,  I do have a foot, and they are under it.  Guess what comes next.  Because I hate these people and what they stand for.  Now, here is a song from my youth to clear your poor mind dear reader of that vile hippie filth, and what I plan to use against the OEA’s progressive war machine.   I’ll take this song any day over that old communist crap!  Turn this one up…………..because this is one of my favorites!

They are the idiots who declared war.  That’s what they’ll get.  CLICK HERE FOR REVIEW.

Cindy Carpenter’s Resume Issues: What alleged violations against ORC 3517.21 really mean

In a tight race for Butler County Commissioner during the 2014 primaries where the current Commissioner Cindy Carpenter is defending her seat against two strong and highly educated challengers, the temptation to cross the line and break the law is ever-present.  Even though such law breaking is considered fashionable these days because our prosecutors and Justice Department officials are essentially shills for corruption—nobody enforces the 6 months in jail for candidates who mislead the public with campaign literature—to “pad” their credentials.  Carpenter after one term as commissioner has proven to be a Democrat with a Republican name and has sought to cover up the fact with a hostile presentation of herself toward those who disagree with her.  That kind of nonsense is seen on her resume.  Knowing she is being challenged by George Nafziger who is highly educated and loaded with a professional past and Christine Matacic who is essentially a well-connected crony career politician from Liberty Township, Carpenter apparently  felt she needed to beef up her resume to stay relevant—and she appears to have violated the law.  Credentials are supposed to be important, which is why there is a law to prevent such temptations from occurring.  That law is Ohio code 3517.21 specifically section (B) item (2), but who’s being specific.  Politicians work in generalities and prosecutors are terrified to enforce such laws.  If Cindy keeps her seat then retaliation is quite possible against them.  In fact right now there is quite a lot of turmoil between Butler County Republicans.  Do they throw their money behind the current commissioner in Carpenter because if they are caught trying to defect, there will likely be reprisal against their projects—which government is embedded in at every corner.  If they support Matacic, they might as well support another big government liberal as Matacic’s brand of Republican office occupation is essentially the same.  To complicate matters both career politicians are women—and nobody wants to be called a sexist for supporting George Nafziger over two potential women—even if they aren’t really conservatives.  So typically what happens is inaction, which is why it appears that Cindy Carpenter violated ORC 3517.21 knowing nobody would likely call her on it.

A big alarm for any women that one might meet is how many times she’s been married.  Sure, that’s old fashioned, but I’m that kind of guy.  If you go back beyond the four husbands that Cindy Carpenter has had back through the years to her high school year book, searching for the information found on her campaign literature indicating that she is a member of the Fairfield High School National Honor Society; her original name of Cindy Sears is not listed.  If Cindy was in fact a member of such a society, there would be some mention of it—but there’s not.  It is possible that there was a misprint in the yearbook during her senior days at Fairfield, or that she was an Honor Society member in some other period of her life, but typically this isn’t the case.  It is likely that it looked good on paper, so she put it on her resume.  Now if that was the only issue we might call it a mistake, but it’s not.

Carpenter listed also on her current campaign literature for County Commissioner that she “attended Miami University” which is different from her 2000 election literature for Clerk of Courts where such a credential wasn’t mentioned. So a simple investigation into the Miami University records and its branch offices under all her possible names has revealed that she never attended the university.  Checking under her various married names, giving her the benefit of doubt that she may have taken a class in basket weaving or something during the last 14 years still no mention that Cindy attended Miami University.  The Miami University Office of the Registrar has searched under all her names, Cindy Sears, Cindy Vogel, Cindy Ertel, Cindy Carpenter which was her previous husband’s name.  She is now married to a guy named Baker, so Cindy Baker was searched, and still nothing.  This means one of two things, the Miami University Office of the Registrar made a mistake and lost the records of Cindy’s attendance, or Cindy is counting the times she drove through the campus as having attended there.  That wouldn’t surprise me because reading through her resume it is certainly padded.  She lists virtually every time she attended a meeting for something as a credential.  For instance, she lists things like, “collaborated with Lt. Governor Mike Dewine to bring Federal Medicaid Waiver programs to Ohio,” and “presenter of Advocacy Session at the Ohio Department of Health Annual Conference.”  You get the point. At least her more recent resume is a bit more concise.  On her 2000 literature she literally listed every time she stepped into a federal government bathroom.  The only reason its relevant is that it shows the lady is desperate to prove her “social value” and will literally report every time she interacted with a public official as a credential, so going a step further and making things up isn’t beyond belief—especially when the records can’t be dredged up from the past.

If the local media had any testicular fortitude, they would do these investigations themselves—but they dare not because if Carpenter retains her seat, they don’t want to be “blackballed,” by her.  So they stick to the powder puff stuff.  There are also a lot of  respected Republicans—like her good buddy Sheriff Jones who are well aware of what ORC 3517.21 means because his jail is supposed to house its violators.  But his rational will likely be that this is just politics and there isn’t any harm in these things.  Everybody is doing it—so what’s the big deal.  But the same could be said for traffic violations, or drug sales—or even immigration issues—everybody is hiring illegal immigrants who are funneling drug money up and down the I-75 corridor destroying children’s lives right in our own back yard—but hey—everybody is doing it—so it’s all good.  See no evil—no foul no jail, no problem.  What are rules anyway, especially if nobody follows them?

Cindy’s many husbands, her altruistic tendencies, and willingness to push legal boundaries as she has had a recent tiff with the Butler County Prosecutor and was even caught lying on 700 WLW radio with Bill Cunningham demonstrate a pattern of behavior that is dangerous to any elected office.  CLICK HERE FOR REVIEW.  Her behavior paints a picture that is not favorable to Cindy Carpenter who is using her previous husband’s last name because of the name recognition.  (THE AUDIO THERE PROVIDES THE EVIDENCE).  Even if she doesn’t go to jail for her apparent ORC 3517.21 violations she certainly shouldn’t be re-elected so that Butler County has four more years of her chaotic management style.  Better people are available for her commissioner seat, and they should get a crack at the job without her infusion of manipulation seeking to preserve some deep rot in her mind running from three decades of misplaced priorities.  The list of husbands behind her is a record that no padded resume can hide—and is a more important indicator of her priorities as a person than the time in 1999 when she attended a Fred Pryor Seminar on conflict resolution and confrontational skills, or the time in 1998 that she attended a class at Solar Comp to learn how to use Windows 95, or the time in 1994 where she attended the Ohio Republican Party – Nuts and Bolts Seminar.  All that and more is on her past resumes explaining her work history and value for the seat of County Commissioner.  All that and apparently even things that didn’t happen.  Cindy Carpenter is the kind of politician that nobody wants once they see beyond the glitter and the charm to the person who is really sitting in that seat.  Worse is the reason that she’s there—to provide meaning to a life that has loads of personal issues hidden behind altruistic intentions at the expense of tax payers.  And that is the real crime behind her actions.  It’s not so much that Carpenter should go to jail for violating ORC 3517.21 as much as she should be punished for using a government office to mask her own deficiencies.  And if the padded resumes and conflicting presence is looked at beyond the thin veil of social courtesy, a person who should not hold public office is revealed.  A person who uses the office to bring meaning to a life that is otherwise void of it, and a person who seeks such a seat to fill themselves at the expense of everyone else.

The Value of ‘Rebels’: Cartoons are the roots of static patterns

Most young people are not paying attention to the current events in the Ukraine, or the unrest in Venezuela, or the posturing of China against Japan.  They don’t know that President Obama’s administration is attempting to use the FCC to control news content, or that the IRS has been involved in corrupt activity.   The sum of all these events are clashing with the teachings that young people are getting from government schools leaving them unsure who to trust or what to believe.  So they aren’t participating, and are focused on the events of pop culture.  They are not reading books, going to Tea Party rallies, or even searching for a way to save the world.  They just want to get by and enjoy their life to some small degree.  This has opened up the entertainment market to an explosion of comic book sales, movies, and fantasy driven entertainment.  The world of fantasy is far better, and easier to understand than the deceitful world of the present—so it is there where many of the contemporary minds of youth reside.

When I was a kid the very first cartoon I enjoyed watching was Popeye the Sailor, followed closely by Speed Racer.  Over the years, I enjoyed Starblazers, Spiderman, Looney Toons, and Godzilla as some of my favorites and I took the messages of those simple stories into my adult life unfiltered.  To this day the thing I enjoy doing most is the “right thing.”  I learned this from Popeye at age 3 and still remember vividly those early cartoon moments.  Those cartoons had tremendous influence and many people my age and younger share this enthusiasm with me.  Not everyone has preserved their love of those early cartoons to the extent that I have, but most people hold reverence for the cartoons of their youth.  These cartoons have the power to either build up a mind or destroy it.   For instance, Bevis and Butthead on MTV did a great deal to destroy culture while the same animator tried to redeem himself with the Fox cartoon King of the Hill.   Currently Family Guy, the Simpsons, and American Dad—all laced with deep progressive philosophy–are the current trend which is writing upon the minds of countless young people the thought processes they will carry throughout their life.   Teachers want to believe that they are what shape a child’s mind, and politicians caress themselves hoping that Common Core will unite the nation’s children to a government-run message of productivity.  But in reality, cartoons are shaping young people and giving them the foundation thoughts which take them into adulthood.

This is why I am currently ecstatic over the new Disney production of the Star Wars: Rebels animated series coming to the Disney XD channel this fall.   Shown within the videos on these pages are the main characters and the content.  I think the show will be unlike anything ever done on television since Disney produced Zorro, and Davy Crockett for a generation who now attends Tea Party rallies.  When I talk to Tea Party types and really get down to the nitty-gritty with them what they want is justice as defined for them by the temperament created by those old shows from the 50s and 60s.  It’s more complicated than that of course, but the foundations of their thoughts are rooted in the values of those old Disney productions–having a mom and a dad at the dinner table with them, and church on Sundays.  They find the behavior of the current political trend reprehensible, and this leads to a desire for rebellion.  This is the primary cause of most discontent discourse throughout the world—specifically in the Ukraine, in Syria, even on college campuses.

Star Wars: Rebels has the ability to explore the nature of rebellion without it being explicitly investigated by earthly reference.   The creators at Lucasfilm have the ability to explore the deep anxieties of the individual spirit to crave freedom without being political.  They don’t have to deal with race relations, political parties, economic philosophy, or any polarizing trait—they can simply tell the story of how a rebellion formed to overthrow an empire.  It’s a deep human craving that transcends party politics and because of that, I think this is the most important story that will be told in my life time.  I’m sure it will be fun, and entertaining, but more than that—it is giving to a new generation of young people a sense of value—a value that is not presently available to them.

I think often about Popeye the Sailor and some of his messages which were “I am what I am and that’s all that I am,” and Wimpy’s statements about, “I’ll pay you Tuesday for a hamburger today.”  These basic values I have taken with me throughout my life.  Wimpy’s comments taught me a great deal about debt, while Popeye was always very proud of who he was—flaws and all.  I know how much those simple stories meant to me, and I can only imagine how much impact the new Star Wars: Rebels will have on a new generation of young people.  The previous Star Wars cartoon; The Clone Wars on The Cartoon Network after five seasons is just now starting to have an impact on a very skeptical viewing audience.  I watched every single episode many times.  My wife and I watch them together on Saturday mornings and love them dearly.  But in many ways, Rebels will be a lot better.  Clone Wars for me always felt like a modern commentary on our current situation.  I’m sure the film makers had no intention of doing such a thing—these things have happened over human history many times and aren’t specific to our time.  But there is always a little sadness in knowing that all the heroics performed in Clone Wars will result in the creation of the Empire.  In Rebels, the Empire is already in control.  Now it is up to heroes to save their society from the control of tyrants and that is an important distinction.

Millions of young people are going to watch Star Wars: Rebels and it will become their favorite television show.  They will grow up and take those messages, and values with them into their adult lives just as modern-day older people revere the good ol’ days of Disney shows like Davey Crockett and Zorro.  As simple as that sounds, it really is the foundation principles behind most thought processes.  Just as people from my generation think differently because of the static patterns given to them from their entertainment culture—particularly cartoons, new cartoons like Star Wars: Rebels will have a far greater impact.  I would say that it is the most important contemporary work of art currently being done anywhere in the world because it brings with it through story value.

For many, they will dismiss Star Wars: Rebels as just another cartoon designed to sell action figures at Target and Wal-Mart.    But it’s more than that, and will show the real impact on television this fall.  Needless to say I’m excited about it because there will be dramatic change ushered in behind this simple cartoon.  With the distribution power of Disney, they are uniquely positioned to do great good in the world and Rebels is just the start.  When George Lucas sat down to close the Star Wars deal at the Brown Derby at Hollywood Studios in Florida he knew what he was doing.  His Skywalker Ranch had been set up specifically for the purpose of creating such wonderful shows like Star Wars: Rebels.  Lucas knows that education is the most important thing you can give young people, and he knows that public education is failing.  That’s why he has spent a considerable amount of his fortune on education.  Much of that money has been wasted on the current education system, like tossing a cup of water into the ocean and expecting to see the waters rise in proportion.  Real education comes from foundation patterns, and in our society, cartoons are the origin.  This is why millions of people flock to Disney World to retouch the stories of their youth and bring renewed appreciation to lives otherwise plagued by cynicism.  Star Wars: Rebels will mean a great deal to a large number of young and old minds, and the sum of that value will be a benefit to us all.
