Socialists are Lazy: Meet the new German Progressive Alliance

It has become obvious that most Americans do not understand the politics of the rest of planet earth.  They believe that countries like Germany, England, Australia and Brazil are functioning on an economically equal playing field as America.  But this would be a false assumption.  The situation in the Ukraine where those people wish to break away from the so-called conservative statism of Russia and join the European Union displays the confusion epically.  Ukraine is essentially seeking to leave a country run on one hand by the old hard-line communists who are currently in the minority in Russia and the United Russia party of Putin who is a former KGB agent from the days of the U.S.S.R.  Many members of the European Union are openly socialist and are members of Socialist International, which has been covered here extensively.  CLICK HERE TO REVIEW, (check out the map there.)  Many of the countries being governed by Socialist International, which is essentially the entire European Union resent American freedom and the wealth generated under capitalism and they feel entitled by their corrupt Kantian philosophy to steal that wealth so that all people everywhere are equal.  In short, socialists and their supporters are by their very nature on average, lazy and seek use the argument of equality to justify stealing from the productive and calling the process “fairness.” This argument was presented to the world during the 20th Century and every nation but America accepted it—as seen in the animated short below.  Because America said no to socialism and communism, is why The United States is a wealthy nation.

Out of the European Union Germany is currently one of the strongest countries economically, but they are hardly bastions of capitalism.  They have had a very strong presence in Socialist International but in that country a new socialist movement began starting in May of 2013 which considers itself a rival group–a group called the Progressive Alliance.  This group intends to take the hard name of socialism away from debate so that members around the world are not so turned off by the old connections to communism.  The Progressive Alliance is a global organization intent to spread socialism to every world government.  They are not supporters of capitalism—in fact they are not even close to supporting such a thing.  But if a careful analysis to their internal works were examined what they all have in common is that the members are essentially lazy people who look to the ambitious to carry them through life—just as the European Union, the United Nations, NATO and even the International Space station look toward American ingenuity, American money, American productivity to carry them from one day to the next.  If America were removed from their alliances, they would perish quickly as their members are unproductive and looking to be carried through life on the backs of those willing to support them.  So far, America has done so without complaint.

The Progressive Alliance is a political international founded on 22 May 2013 by political parties, the majority of whom are current or former members of the Socialist International. The organisation states the aim of becoming the global network of “the progressive“, democratic, social-democratic, socialist and labour movement”.[1][2]

The first step towards the movement’s creation was the cancellation of the £100,000 yearly membership fee payment by the Social Democratic Party of Germany (SPD) to the Socialist International in January 2012 by SPD Chairman Sigmar Gabriel. Gabriel had been critical of the Socialist International’s admittance and continuing inclusion of undemocratic “despotic” political movements into the organisation.[3][4]

At the initial Conference of the Progressive Alliance was held in Rome, Italy on 14–15 December 2012 with 42 political parties attending.[5][6] Attending the founding meeting was Democratic Party of Italy leader Pier Luigi Bersani, French Socialist Party chairman Harlem Désir, Argentinean Socialist Party chairman Hermes Binner, Governor of Vermont Peter Shumlin of the US Democratic Party, and Mustapha Ben Jafar, secretary-general of the Tunisian Democratic Forum for Labour and Liberties.[7] Also present were representatives of the Indian National Congress, Brazilian Workers Party and Greek PASOK.[8][9] The Dutch Labour Party also supports the formation of the organisation,[10] as does the Swiss Socialist Party[11] and the Social Democratic Party of Austria.[12]

During the 4–5 February 2013 spring Council of the Socialist International in Cascais, Portugal, 50 political parties discussed on the sidelines the formation of the Progressive Alliance, including the Movement for Democratic Change of Zimbabwe.[13]

The official foundation of the organization was held on the 22 May 2013 in Leipzig, Germany, on the 150th anniversary of the formation of the General German Workers’ Association (ADAV), the predecessor of the modern-day SPD.[14][15][16][17][18] It was reported that approximately 70 social-democratic political parties from across the world attended the event.[19][20][21][22] The Progressive Alliance of Socialists and Democrats European parliamentary group joined the organization upon its official foundation.[23] In September 2013, the Democratic Party (DIKO) of Cyprus announced that they were negotiating to join the Progressive Alliance, and were scheduled to attend a seminar of the international in Stockholm on 24 October.[24]

If the land mass of Europe all the way to the east across Russia, China spinning around through the South China sea to Australia is considered, there is a vast swath of population that is in open support of either socialism or communism and they are all looking toward the wealth of The United States and want it redistributed to them.  What they really want is the theft of the productive in America to their lazy, hands.  In the case of the East, they are not lazy, but they lack imagination and ingenuity, and need American thought to carry them through their technical innovations.  China can build an iPhone, but they cannot “conceive” of an iPhone from scratch.  Only a free people, functioning under a capitalist country can do such a thing. This leaves a massive section of the world under the lazy influence of socialism, statism, or open communism.  South America and Canada are not much better.  Most countries in South America are left-leaning socialists and Canada is under the influence of European socialism.  Only America and Japan economically stand on the side of productivity.

So why do any of the people function under Socialist International, or the Progressive Alliance have an equal seat at the table with America if they are not equally productive?  The answer is that they shouldn’t, because they are essentially lazy next to the productive and are not equal by any measure.  And that is a hard truth that the socialists of the world do not wish to consider because it forces a hard truth about themselves which they are not willing to consider. And the truth hurts.  There are some of these progressive groups in America, groups like Progress Ohio and the Texas Progressive Alliance, (CLICK THE LINK BELOW), who seek to destroy capitalism to fulfill the intentions of global socialists.  They are the cause of the current ideological civil war currently underway in America as they have captured the sympathies of the media and are in virtually every public school and labor union.  It is the lazy against the productive and the productive are in the minority—extremely.  And they still carry the economies of the world on their back in spite of the ingratitude of the socialist and progressive groups—which is testimony which confirms the truth in all its glory.

“Radioactive” : A song about waking up from ADD

Even though I don’t typically enjoy lyrical music, occasionally one comes out that I like quite a bit. During 2013 my favorite video game was Assassin’s Creed III, and I fell in love with the song “Radioactive” which was part of the marketing campaign for that game. You can hear the song below as it was presented to the imagery of the game which allowed players to immerse themselves in the Revolutionary War of America in a way that had never been done before.  The game was just fantastic, and the song “Radioactive” became one that I enjoyed for more reasons evolving beyond Assassin’s Creed III

Radioactive” is a song recorded by American rock band Imagine Dragons for their major-label debut EPContinued Silence and later on their debut studio album, Night Visions, as the opening track. “Radioactive” was first sent to radio on April 2, 2012[1] and again on October 29, 2012.[2] Musically, “Radioactive” is an alternative rock song with elements of electronic rock and dubstep, while containing cryptic lyrics of apocalyptic and revolutionist themes.

The song received acclaim from critics who praised the production, lyrics, and vocals, calling it a highlight on the album. Due to heavy rotation on commercials and trailers, the song became a sleeper hit, peaking at number three on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, and has so far spent nearly a year and a half on that chart. It became their first top 10 single, and also broke the record for slowest ascension to the Top 5 in chart history.[3] It currently holds the record for most weeks spent on the Billboard Hot 100 at 78 weeks.[4] It was the third best-selling song of 2013,[5] and was also the No. 3 song on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2013 year-ending behind “Thrift Shop” and “Blurred Lines“.[6] The song has also reached No. 1 in Sweden and in the top 20 in several countries including Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom, becoming their most successful single to date.

Imagine Dragons is an American alternative rock band from Las Vegas, Nevada. The band gained exposure following the September 2012 release of their debut studio album, Night Visions, which peaked at number 2 on the weekly Billboard 200 chart. Following the release of Night Visions, Imagine Dragons embarked on a world tour, and performed on major late night shows. According to Billboard Imagine Dragons topped the year-end rock rankings for 2013.[1] Billboard also named Imagine Dragons “The Breakthrough Band of 2013,” and Rolling Stone named their single “Radioactive” “the biggest rock hit of the year.”[2][3][4]MTV also called them “the year’s biggest breakout band.”[5]

Imagine Dragons’ line up includes vocalist Dan Reynolds, guitarist Wayne “Wing” Sermon, bassist Ben McKee and drummer Daniel Platzman.[4]

Here are the lyrics to the song:

“Radioactive”

Whoa, oh, oh
Whoa, oh, oh
Whoa, oh, oh
Whoa

I’m waking up to ash and dust
I wipe my brow and I sweat my rust
I’m breathing in the chemicals

I’m breaking in, shaping up, then checking out on the prison bus
This is it, the apocalypse
Whoa

I’m waking up, I feel it in my bones
Enough to make my systems blow
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh, I’m radioactive, radioactive
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh, I’m radioactive, radioactive

I raise my flags, don my clothes
It’s a revolution, I suppose
We’ll paint it red to fit right in
Whoa

I’m breaking in, shaping up, then checking out on the prison bus
This is it, the apocalypse
Whoa

I’m waking up, I feel it in my bones
Enough to make my systems blow
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh, I’m radioactive, radioactive
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh, I’m radioactive, radioactive

All systems go, the sun hasn’t died
Deep in my bones, straight from inside

I’m waking up, I feel it in my bones
Enough to make my systems blow
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Welcome to the new age, to the new age
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh, I’m radioactive, radioactive
Whoa, oh, oh, oh, oh, whoa, oh, oh, oh, I’m radioactive, radioactive

Reynolds has struggled most of his life with depression and ADD and anxiety issues. He explained to AbsolutePunk that he penned this song “Radioactive,” “coming out of a pretty serious spell of depression and having a new awakening and a real vigor for life.” He added: “That’s the general thing where that song came from. There’s more specifics to it, but that’s the basic, general idea.”  In a time that we currently live in where so many young people have been diagnosed and treated with Attention Deficit Disorder, and HDAD literally an entire generation of young people are becoming aware that they have been deliberately stifled mentally by pharmaceutical companies looking to make a lot of money off a made up disease.  Creative people like Dan Reynolds look to have become aware of this stifling as he has a past with these public education attempts to put clamps on the mind of people with exceptional ability so to equalize them with students of less aptitude.  That is the reason for ADD diagnosis. Medicating the made up disease is purely to stifle the mind of the victim and Dan Reynolds has been through this process.

His frustration is clear in the music.  The subtle lyrics come out as though he were waking up from a dream—a cloud of haze deliberately inflicted upon the mind and the intense drum beats during the song are the natural impulse to action trying to emerge past the drugs and social resistance to exceptionalism.  I find the song “Radioactive” to be an appropriate metaphor for our entire society, globally.  We have all been subdued by intelligentsia, and we are finally waking up………slowly.

If ADD diagnosis was around when I went to school, there would be no doubt the teachers would have tried to put me on every drug known to numb my mind into something they were more comfortable with.  Thank God I didn’t have to go through that fight.  I have arrived to my adulthood without the struggles that the band members of Imagine Dragons have had to deal with.  Works of art like their music are gifts to a free society and an inquisitive culture.  The official music video, also shown here is just another subtle layer to the song’s meaning—the band members are imprisoned below a ring of death where innocent puppets are fighting out battles metaphorical to what we all face every day.   The gamblers around the ring are making bets playing us all against each other until an innocent little creature arrives into the ring and destroys all the villains.  Good stuff.

Not all rock music is offshoots of Aliester Crowley and the culture of destruction that are often associated with the Thelema.  In a free market, like what does exists to a large extent in America, bands like Imagine Dragons have a chance to compete with everyone else—and excel.  Thank goodness for that, because the song “Radioactive” is a song of great importance to our current time and the minds that hear the music and realize on a subconscious level the meaning.  We are waking up; the flag we fly is red, but not the red of tyrannies from the past, but more like the pirate’s flag of “no quarter given.”  It is a revolution and the sun still shines.  Now it’s just a matter of time before everyone joins those already awake to hoist that flag to the next step of human evolution—and it is not conducive to the current class of dissidents who have prescribed a society to the drugs of diagnosis for ADD so to protect themselves from overachieving intelligence.

“Radioactive” is about hope………..a hope that through the tyrannies of every dominating force known, the human mind can wake up and react in a pursuit of freedom that is only known in the deepest recesses of every cell in our bodies.  I simply love the song and what it is doing for a generation of young people—a quiet intensity that is ever-growing toward a social fortissimo that is not yet known.  Powerful stuff.  If you are currently on medicine designed to treat ADD or some other related diagnosis, get off the stuff right now–and free your mind to its true potential.  Be the drum in the song “Radioactive” and beat with all the vigor that your life has the potential to produce.

The Atlas Society: It’s all about creativity in every capacity

John Stossel is a regular at the yearly Atlas Society events, which is a large group advocating the Objectivist views of Ayn Rand’s work in philosophy.  You can see Stossel’s speech from the 2013 conference below.  One thing that jumps out at such events is the large number of people who are involved from all levels of society.  If this event were directly compared to a recent Ohio Education Association meetings of a same general type, anybody would conclude that the Atlas Society members were much better prepared for life, had vastly more intellectual capacity, and were generally better people in virtually every category.  However, the OEA is much more widely known and accepted in political circles where the Atlas Society is still considered a “fringe” group, but this is changing rapidly.

I am not a group oriented person.  I avoid them like a plague—even those where I generally agree with the participants, I quickly become disenfranchised when too many people are in association.  The reason is not that I dislike the people; it is that I value my individualism to a greater extent.  Group associations are corrosive to personal authenticity so I avoid them.  Objectivists are closer to my personal epistemologies in virtually every category except for their position on drugs, personal relationships, and religion.  Objectivists are more likely to be sexual swingers which is not something I find attractive.  So there are issues where my values do not completely align with Objectivists, but in many more ways than not, they are best positioned to represent my general philosophy.

Ayn Rand essentially was advocating for the freedom of the human mind to be creative without the restriction of group oriented psychological anchors.  In business, to her, the activity of an entrepreneur was a creative enterprise that had great value and most groups–socialists, governments, hoards of second-handers imposed themselves into that important attribute destroying production.  Being productive is what Objectivists are all about, productive in the way they cook their food, make their money, even how they maintain relationships—everything is centered on productivity.  Productivity in this case is the creation of something new whether it is art, a material item, or even an ideal.

Contrary to this is most every faction of human existence where the goal is to avoid productivity.  Group oriented activity is all about sharing burdens so that one does not have to go it alone—and in that process individual productivity is lost.  This is why such group associations are essentially evil—because they hamper individual creative input.  In my life I create something in virtually every hour of every day.  I typically get up at 5:30 every morning and I go to bed often very late.  In those waking hours I am creating, whether it is for business, art, philosophy, or personal growth—I am always looking for ways to create.  One of the most despicable moments for me is when someone comes to my door wanting to sell something—not because I don’t want to buy Girl Scout cookies from the little girl down the road or hear a sales pitch from a representative of a local church—it is because of the lost time robbed from me to be personally productive.  While I’m standing on my porch listening to someone else’s needs, I am not being productive, personally—and it bothers me.  Without shared values to unite people in such a conversation, I will always come away emptier than I began while the other party will leave filled and I will have also lost my productive time.

I have spent hours upon hours alone and closed to my thoughts being productive and been quite happy because the enterprise was not so much to get a pay check, or have someone else recognize my value—but in conducting my life as an individual contributor to my own authenticity which is fulfilling in itself.  Only people at the Atlas Society understand these traits.  The local teachers union has no comprehension of these things.  They are simply parasites off the tax payers.  The local firemen have no idea about such things because their entire existence is built of personal sacrifice.  The local church has no idea because they are built off sacrificing this life for the next.  The local business has no idea because to them everything must be sacrificed for the greater good of the company.  The unifying theme of all these groups is the term, “sacrifice.”  It’s the old notation left over from our Neanderthal past that something must be given up so that something can be created and this just isn’t the case.

Creation occurs from a free mind.  It is not something that can be concocted by force as government believes.  There are no kings, queens, college professors or figures of authority who can use force to “create” anything—whether it be a work of art, a magnificent novel, a painting, or a business.  The more rules that government creates only serves to destroy creativity in the human spirit.  It does not “create” fairness, it only limits creativity.

This is why the only organization that is really doing the right things for the right reasons that I can see is the Atlas Society and those similar attempts to take the work of Ayn Rand and take the next step.  The people in that room with John Stossel, and the people who are involved with the new Atlas Shrugged films, and the site Galt’s Gulch are truly pioneers in a time where all the elements of oppression are aligned against them.  They are literally on a new frontier of human thought which can be a scary place, but it is good to see that they are up to the challenge and facing the tribulations against creativity with a boldness that will become the headlines of future folklore.

Public Education Core Beliefs: “The children belong to all of us”

Stupid people who don’t comprehend what they read very well believe inaccurately that I am anti-education when in reality I am anti-liberal instruction.  If there were other viewpoints reflected in colleges and public education—ones that reflect my sense of conservatism, I would be more tolerant.  But I was fighting this fight long before most people even knew there was a battle.  My school days were very contentious and my college experiences even worse.  Basically I never did yield to the left leaning sentiment of most of the teachers I grew up with, and they were never as obvious about their political leanings as the teachers of today are—and my attitude toward them hasn’t yielded.  In kindergarten for me at Lakota it started from day one—I went toe to toe with Miss Mays and was always in trouble.  She ended up in a mental hospital.  Every teacher I had through the rest of my elementary years called my mother crying about how they thought they were failing me—because I treated them with so much disrespect.  My desk was always mess, I had no reverence for their instruction, and I wanted to spend all my time drawing pictures and writing stories.  They hoped that my mother would put pressure on me to cease the behavior—but it was my mother who gave me the independence to begin with—wisely before I ever entered public school.  By that time there was no going back, even if she did at times want to.  And those were the good—peaceful years.  I spent more time in the principal’s office and in detention than in class—which was fine with me because it was more time to read and write what I wanted—not what some leftist teacher wanted me to learn.

To show off for his girlfriend teacher at the time my 8th grade gym teacher took my bullwhip from me which I had brought for show and tell, and kept it in the gymnasium to play with in front of his entourage of junior high football players.  He did it to show he had power and authority over me.  So after feeling bad for half the day I got up in the middle of my English class as my teacher protested and marched down to the gym right in the middle of that guy making a fool of himself with my whip in front of the school’s athletic elite.  I took the whip from him, gave a quick demonstration which made everyone’s mouth drop and went back to my class to a parade of harassment from school administrators demanding that I head straight to the principal’s office.  That day confirmed it for me, my teachers believed that they were my parents, and functioned from a position that they believed I had an obligation to listen to them—which I did not.  I went back to my class and sat down leaving them mystified that I did not have any fear of them.  With my whip in my hand I knew there wasn’t anything they could do to me because nobody—not even the athletic gym teacher knew how to use it the way I did and that gave me power over them.

I helped drive my freshman English teacher into a mental breakdown the next year.  They were an extreme bleeding heart liberal.  I had no interest in learning what they knew—because their mind was a mess.  They had no right to stand in front of a class and teach anybody anything.  And from there things went severally downhill culminating during my Senior year with a drag race down I-75 with beer and the future Superintendent of Lakota Schools after a year of cat and mouse furiously engaged.  That guy tried to pin everything that went wrong at the school on my back out of revenge for my behavioral rebellion.

One of my good friends during my sophomore year was a very tough guy who got into a lot of fights.  He was humongous.  He wasn’t afraid of anything, because he was literally bigger than everyone else, stronger, and if both those things failed, he was more fearless.  He sat across from me in one of my study halls after a weekend where he had gotten into a fight and cut open his knuckles revealing the bone from his victim’s teeth.  He left the wound open to close on its own and never went to a doctor.  The wound got terribly infected but he didn’t care.  He left it to grow closed without stitches for the remainder of the school year.  He didn’t fear infection, he didn’t fear losing the hand, he didn’t fear death, he didn’t fear other people’s opinions, and he completely lacked concern.  The next year when I had the same type of wound from the same kind of activity where my bone popped out, my ligaments were strung from my hand with pouring blood and it took a plastic surgeon to reconstruct my fingers he saw me in the hall and grabbed my wrapped appendage and laughed calling me a “pussy.”  Then he winked at me.  His hand was still infected a year later from the same wound which he had broken open half a dozen times.  It was his way of telling me I was right, and that he should have went to the doctor—that time.  The cops were scared to death of him, and no administrators knew what to do with him.  We had in common that we both wished to live free of any chains.  He learned from me how to outsmart his enemies and I learned from him how to fight—how to be so certain with yourself that you never had to worry about a confrontation no matter how many people were involved.  He eventually got into a fight about 20 years ago where he got stabbed in the heart and died.  As time and distance moved between us he resorted back to just raw knuckle fighting which left him vulnerable—and eventually dead.  But he lived quite a life.  He lived outside of the law, outside of the school rules because no administrator knew what to do with him.  He could walk down the hall and call the principal by his first name, grope any girl even in front of their boyfriends and never be challenged, and pretty much do what he wanted any time he wanted.  We got along fabulously and had a symbiotic relationship.  When he did end up in jail, he got into a lot more trouble of course which eventually pulled him down a vortex where I could no longer reach him.  For him, his best times where in school where he could let me piece him together again—because he lacked structure otherwise.  The teachers couldn’t do anything for him, but I could.  Liberal education made him worse—he needed my conservativism, and structure.

I knew from day one even at a very young age that the school system was wrong, the lines, the recesses, the teachers, the desk assignments, the whole intrusion on personal liberty was designed to break people—and I determined that I would never be broken—and I never was.  That has given me the clairvoyance as an adult to speak accurately about the public school system and what it does to people.

A vast majority of the educators in any school system lean-to the political left and they believe inaccurately that their job is to mold us all into some collective fabric of interwoven social blanket for which we are but one silly little thread.  They reflect accurately the opinion revealed in the first video on this article.  In my experience at Lakota—which was supposedly the best in the area, I can only think of maybe five teachers who were not extreme liberals.  By the time I got to my junior year and had been in some high-profile violent acts that were plastered all over the newspapers and television the school finally gave up—except for a few who decided that I would be locked away for my insolence—I did discover a couple of teachers who were relatively decent people founded in conservative philosophy.  The rest were bra burning scum bags—old drug hounds and loose moral scum bags from top to bottom.  One of my current friends who was a school board member at Lakota during this period will recognize word for word what I’m saying—and can confirm it all and more.

To prove my point there was an article just the other day about an upcoming election featuring Kelly Kohl’s and Shannon Jones, both known as hard-core Tea Party candidates.  That article wasn’t all that surprising to me, as I have been covering those kinds of things here at Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom for a long time.  Shannon caved under the pressure of the SB5 defeat along with John Kasich and the Tea Party wants to eradicate them from the earth.  Nothing new there—as the emotions are justified.  Just because you lose one battle you don’t tuck and run yielding to the liberal menace.  You fight them—and you fight them high and low with methods that they can’t fathom until they yield, beg for mercy, and are willing to make a deal for their very life.  Then when you have them in that state—you end them.  There is no debate.  Shannon didn’t do that—so Kelly is challenging her political seat.  Well of course this article stirred up comments at the end of it and guess who was the most vocal?  Supporters of the education industry were the ones who left the most left leaning comments against the Tea Party.  Check below for a sampling of their diatribes and click the link at the end to verify for yourself.   That first guy—Scott Malone is a psychologist for two different Lakota schools.  His political leanings are obvious and he is the one who advises young people in matters of psychological difficulty.

What those names have in common is they are either educators or political activists and in public schools, colleges, and labor unions who attach memberships to those activities.  Their core beliefs are confirmed by what Paul Reville revealed in his talk at the Center For American Progress recently—a liberal think tank designed to “progress” society into collectivism.  “The children belong to all of us,” that is what Reville said, and he’s not the only one.  That statement has been said during virtually every school levy campaign in America for years, by more than one pandering politician and bucket loads of misfit parents who suck at instructing their children anything—and want “society” to do the hard work for them.  That is the root cause for the collective belief of group ownership of children.

Is it any surprise that Peter Dinklege did pro communist commentary for NBC during the 2014 Olympics in Sochi?  NBC apparently did not understand the Twitter backlash when they announced, “the towering presence, the empire that ascended to affirm a colossal footprint.  The revolution that birthed one of modern history’s pivotal experiments……………..”  Most teachers think the same way as the NBC producers who thought that the Cold War against Russia was long over.  Yet what they all have in common is that they were taught in public schools by disciples of the original KGB to push the entire world into a communist state—and they aimed to do it through American schools.  I have covered the proof extensively in previous articles for those who are new to this problem.  Minds are formed in schools and once the mind is reprogrammed into a liberal thought process, for most people it’s over for the rest of their lives.  If they grow up to become Republicans, they end up wishy-washy, watered down people like John Boehner.  I know hundreds of them—they think they are conservative, but their educations where teachers believed they were co-parents ruined their minds with a liberal mentality exclusively—as conservatives have been deliberately shoved out of the public education experience.  They do not last in the education profession at any level except in the extreme situation where the education institution is decidedly conservative such as Hillsdale, or Liberty.

It does not work to say that just because someone is against the liberal education of America they are against education.  If there were openly conservative teachers at my district public school of Lakota, I would feel differently about a great many things, but there aren’t.  The further I became involved in Lakota due to my political activity, I found it shocking how much sexual molestation was going on, how many teachers were openly gay, how many support communism, socialism, and Barack Obama and once I learned that it tied right into my own school day experiences where my refusal to be considered “one of their children” got me into a lot of trouble which I am very proud of today.  My wife was a straight A student.  Once she met me—she dropped down to Ds and Cs because I told her the whole experience was stupid.  My very best friend was an Honor’s Society member who sold his robe to a kid for a $100 bucks on graduation day.  I am proud to have had an influence on them because to this very day, they are far freer than if they had been pulled into that vortex of social engineering at such a young age.  But all the kids I knew back then who did follow all the rules, they ended up watered down versions of their true potential—which was the intent of public education from the very beginning—once the Department of Education was created in 1979.  Public education isn’t trying to teach anybody anything—but how to be compliant—and answerable to the collective sum of society.  And that makes public education a vile enterprise with sinister intentions confirmed all too well by the comments of Scott Malone—a psychologist at Lakota who should not be in a position to instruct conservative children from conservative families anything.  The basic belief that the teaching profession has that “children belong to all of us,” is one that says the shared experiences of Scott Malone’s liberalism is just as valuable as a conservative child’s parents.  Anyone in math knows that you can’t multiply “0” with anything and get something back in value.  Malone’s liberalism is a “0” while a strong conservative family with a mommy and a daddy who go to church on Sunday may be a “10.”  What do you get when you multiply 10 X 0?  You get a kid that has zeros in their life where there should be value, and the mind of the child becomes a watered down version of the parent’s instruction—because society with its collective liberalism has entered a zero into the equation, and given a child little value to carry into their adult lives.  That is why I’m against public education in the form it is now.  Now—put some Ronald Reagan type conservatives in front of a class with a suit, tie, and some firm American beliefs—and we can talk.  But until then, it’s a waste of time.  I have literally felt this way my entire life—and it’s not going to change now.  But what will change when an immovable force interacts with a bunch of squishy minded liberals—is the immovable force will have its way.  Mark it on the calendar.  I intend to do for many others what I did for my friends during my own school days—and that is help free them from the bondage of a nanny state and the collective ownership of the value in their minds sucked from them by the many liberals who teach public education.

Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom: A philosophy forged by the bullwhip

I remember the classes I took in my twenties at the Cincinnati cable access station learning how to edit video tape with all the style and flair of a nightly news broadcast.  The editing room had dual tape feeders and a massive mixing board which made me feel like the power of my imagination was the only limit in communicating whatever I had on my mind.  But there was a limit—you had to book the room by the hour—which was a real pain in the butt.  I used that video room to help out the Ross Perot campaign, and the movement that came directly after called the Reform Party.  Over the years that work has gotten lost in the thousands of home videos that I have of my family, and they certainly aren’t floating around on the internet because it hadn’t been invented yet—at least on the scale that we know it today.  So I can state accurately that one of the greatest freedoms of our modern age is the ability to take that room full of complicated million dollar equipment and compress it down to the size of an iPad—and make it dramatically better.  That is the age we are in.  The imagination is the only real limit as much as government would like to think otherwise.  We have all the power in the world to communicate whatever we want to whomever we want at any time of the day or night.  With that said, I thought it was time to do an actual ad for this blog site of Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom celebrating the heart of it—where it was born—in my back yard practicing with bullwhips.

The philosophy that I have utilized since the Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom inception is one that is discussed in the ad—one centered around my work with bullwhips.  I have practiced for many hours over several decades with bullwhips and I always think a lot while doing it. Those thoughts translate to unique concepts and strategies in dealing with complicated problems and have helped me do things that seemed impossible to other people.  I have attempted to teach executives how to run their businesses better with bullwhip classes so that they could understand what I do—that the whip is a minimalist effort exerted with great force—which is how business strategy should be conducted.  Too many of these businessmen are concerned about their organization charts instead of the task of executing strategies and team building with those who can help them.   The bullwhip is a lesson in how to take a small amount of force and turn it into something that can cut a pop can in two with just string and leather.  The same force can be applied to the neck of a villain opening the arteries of the neck wide open and killing a man within seconds.  Most people, particularly government try to implement strategy the way a gun works—with great force discharged up front—which quickly dissipates the further way the bullet gets from the muzzle.  This is bad, especially with large organizations.  By the time an intention is expressed, the velocity of that intention gets lost down the organizational chart until the force applied is next to nothing by the time it reaches its target.  This is primarily why large companies like General Motors or the Federal Government fail when large bureaucracies stand between their intended strategies and the target of their implementation.

I have learned through the bullwhip that a small force applied in the right way can turn into a mammoth force by the time it reaches its target because of the tapered design.  The limits are that you are restricted to a close range, but for a melee weapon it is far superior to a club, a knife, or a sword as the reach is greater, and the force applied is much less—and far more flexible.  When wielding two whips at the same time there is no group of people who will be able to close around me with just their bare hands or melee weapons. Firearms are a bit trickier, but not all that difficult to thwart, easier than it might be thought otherwise.  But these are the results of three decades of whip work.  I have tried to teach people how to apply these tactics to their everyday lives but mostly—if they don’t learn to master a bullwhip—the lessons are lost to them.

Needless to say that I do apply these lessons to my life—many cannot understand how I do so much—at so many levels–because they don’t understand the bullwhip.  Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom is just one of my daily tasks and the reason behind this site is very similar to using a bullwhip in a combat situation.  I have witnessed the need to accomplish mammoth tasks on the liberty front—but applying a strategy to those tasks cannot be done properly using weapons of diminishing marginal return—where great effort is applied at the start, but it is greatly reduced by the time it reaches its target.  I know people who have spent their entire lives on the liberty front fighting the good fight only to be continuously swept away by the big waves of machine politics, so I had to approach the problem differently.  I think it is quite clear now after four years of Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom what I have been up to.  Go back and read the newspapers anywhere in the country and read the union talking points and compare them to today.  I have not given a rat’s ass about reaching the masses—the everyday Joe’s and Mary’s.  My targets have been very specific and the force of that momentum has had a great influence on the media, on radio conversation, on television, on the arts—and in politics.  Now I haven’t been the only one—a lot of people have chipped away at that former power structure—but my job has been a support role to those troops on the ground while also striking at targeted cuts out there in the hidden areas—behind the curtain.

It was not an accident when I went on Doc Thompson’s radio show years ago and dared President Obama to put me on his insurgent list.  I knew in doing it that The White House would read Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom every day to see if I was a threat.  In reading every day, they are learning things whether or not they wish to.  It forces their hands to learn what others are learning and takes them away from their game—just a bit.  By seeing this action, others also dare to be so bold—and they add in mass a force sometimes more diligently applied overwhelming our foes.  It is kind of a anti-Saul Alisnky—which is a very good thing.

The work at Lakota displayed on this site has forced a change in public education in general.  That school wasted many hundreds of thousands of dollars fighting me to prevent the truth—and people have witnessed it.  Currently Lakota is pinned down heavily.  They know that anything they do will be heavily scrutinized here at Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom so they are very, very careful.  This keeps them in check enormously.  I don’t mind revealing that strategy now—because it is already too late.  The next part of the strategy is already underway—and they can’t stop that either–and they know it.  This has changed the dialogue in Columbus as many thousands of important people have learned about other education reformers through Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom.  In many ways those people put a lot more work into the effort than I do—most are committed to the task day and night—but the media has excluded them from the discussion and few people know about their web sites because they are blacklisted in the newspapers.  I am very proud to have changed that dialogue.

Glenn Beck is doing some of the best work in the country right now with The Blaze—but being a completely online network it is being shunned by the media.  Sites like Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom, Freedomworks, and other outlets have helped that network get off the ground to what is now a powerhouse of information.  I would call that strategy the way of the “whip,” a minimum up-front force applied to get explosive back-end results.

So it’s time to give Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom a bit of the credit it deserves not just as a work by me which started in my back yard, but for the very subtle path that it has paved behind the curtain the last couple of years.  There are now more sites like it doing the same work and the effect is compounding nicely—just like how a bullwhip strikes a target.  So given the tool availability that is out there so readily available now as opposed to back in the Reform Party days, it’s time to use them for “maximum” effect.  And with that—I hope you enjoyed the first official ad for Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom and the intention I have to unfurl a strategy that has been coiled up for far too long—until just the right moment.  That moment is now………………………………………..

Saying “Yes”: ‘Ian up for Whatever’ Superbowl Bud Light commercial

Obviously, I have lived a colorful life.  I have something to say about just about anything and everything and that ability was carved out of my life experience.  Hey, it’s the Superbowl time of year—I love watching that game and the ceremonial nature that America dedicates to the event, so let’s have a little fun.  I loved several commercials during the game but I particularly enjoyed the new Bud Light commercial “Ian Up for Whatever.”  I knew from the moment that the young lady asked Ian–just a normal guy sitting in a sportsbar–that if she gave him a free Bud Light would be up for anything that followed–she was playing the role of the mythic goddess figures of the past and that Ian was in for an adventure.  There have been many times when life has asked similar questions, and my typical reaction is “YES,” because you never know what kind of adventure comes next—but to get there you always have to say “YES.”

That’s the gist of things in Bud Light’s new “Ian Up For Whatever” Super Bowl commercial—a star-studded spectacle involving hidden cameras and wave after wave of celebrity cameos.

The true star of the commercial, however, is a man named “Ian” who finds himself swept up in a sequence of wild events bordering on the unimaginable, but not quite as crazy as the uninitiated might believe.

Things begin with Ian sitting alone at a bar. He’s approached by a pretty girl named Kelly, who introduces herself and takes a seat. Within moments, Ian’s new friend holds up a Bud Light and asks a single, somewhat ominous question.

“If I give this to you, are you up for whatever happens next?” Kelly asks.

“Uh, I think so,” Ian responds, obviously thinking that Kelly was coming on to him.

That’s how it starts—a night of limousines, twin parties and more Arnold Schwarzenegger ping-pong than ever conceived possible.  Actually, that was my favorite part.

Ian receives a new jacket, courtesy of Friday Night Lights star Minka Kelly.

He also finds himself with comedian-musician Reggie Watts, who has been stuffed into a DJ booth inside the Hummer stretch limo designated to chauffeur Ian about New York for the evening.

The one prevailing tie in the commercial is the presence of Bud Light bottles, which Ian and company constantly have in hand. There’s also the omnipresent eye of the commercial’s directors and coordinators, who have the entire experience planned down to the moment and wired for video and sound.

In all, “Ian Up For Whatever” is an impressive feat of planning and videography. Any number of mishaps could’ve turned this commercial into a nightmare, but judging by the final product, things went rather swimmingly.

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1943450-bud-light-releases-new-super-bowl-xlviii-ian-up-for-whatever-commercial

I could tell a number of stories where similar things have happened to me.  It is often surprising how a willingness for adventure can pave the way for the unfathomable.  Those events may not happen quite in the same way as Ian’s experience—and they may not involve such New York cultural pleasure, but they are often as outrageous and cryptically elusive to the mind of a planned individual.  The human spirit often carries events beyond conception, and the real magic of life is often beyond those borders.  I have been to such places many times—so much that nothing would shock me now.  Where Ian was amazed, I would have been much more flat lined.  The limo would not have surprised me, playing “baby tennis” with Arnold Schwarzenegger wouldn’t have been strange or finding oneself onstage with a major music group, relative to my personal life.   Crazy things do happen, and they often start with the word “Yes.”

A good lesson from that commercial is to say “yes,” a bit more often.  When your boss places before you a tough challenge……………..say, “yes.”  You’d be surprised what might happen.  When your car starts sputtering because you are almost out of gas, say “yes” and keep the petal depressed.  See what happens when you run out of fuel a mile short of a gas station.  Many adventures are likely to transpire.  When you pass by a restaurant that strikes your interest, say “yes” and pull in and try it out.  Stepping out of a routine can be very exciting.  Say “yes” more often and let adventure into your life, and you will discover that Ian’s experience is not that unique.

Good things don’t always happen, but I still say yes to many things, because I love adventure.  It is adventure that has filled my mind with so many opinions, and given voice to so many topics.  I have a story for everything when I talk to younger people because in my past I have said “yes” to many outrageous adventures even the ones that appeared to be kamikaze runs.  I always figured I was cleaver enough to avoid death, and I have been right more times than chance can take credit for.

Because of those adventures I love my life.  I love every day of it and I don’t have regrets.  Even bad decisions were part of the “saying yes” process, and the adventures that followed have led to tremendous amounts of experience which translates to personal wisdom.  In this life, wisdom is capital—more powerful capital than gold, or the perceived values of finance.  Wisdom can gain finances, but finances cannot gain wisdom.  Wisdom is by far more valuable, and wisdom can only be obtained by living life—and to live life, you have to “say yes,” to things.

A guy who reads here a lot will recognize this story immediately but I remember a trip to Panama City with him which nearly mirrored this Bud Light commercial.  It started by “saying yes” to a cold March evening, a complicated engineering problem, and a political stalemate that needed to be broken loose.  It ended hours later over a thousand miles away with me playing football on a beach after jumping off a pier from about 25 feet and breaking my ankle in the sand.   I wrapped the ankle and continued playing football anyway under the moonlight next to the ocean.  We slept with a tent half constructed next to a harbor, and solved our problem over breakfast at a Burger King.  We returned to Cincinnati within 48 hours of leaving for our next meeting and solved all our problems with a fresh perspective.  Adventure is good for building wisdom.

There are hundreds of those types of stories, but most don’t involve the kind of elements seen in that Bud Light commercial.  The Panama City one did, which is the reason for the reference.  But all such adventures lead to the ability to have wisdom—something young people don’t have until it is developed.  At the end of his adventure in the Bud Light commercial Ian was wiser than was when he simply agreed to a girl in a bar to accept whatever happened next.  Adventure happens all the time to many people, and adventure builds wisdom—but before either can be obtained a person has to be willing to “say yes.”  Lucky for Ian, he did.  But you too Dear Reader can experience adventure in the strangest places and times.  All you have to do is, “say yes.

The Mist of an American Republic: Emperor Obama’s State of the Union

The State of the Union speech was such a comedy this year—increasingly made so incrementally over time—that there was very little of it that I took seriously.  The most comic parts of it are when for the whole previous year both political sides yapped negatively about each other with much rhetoric and fanfare—yet when the president arrived all those idiots from both sides lined up to shake his hand and get his autograph.  When Obama finally arrived at the podium to stand in front of vice president Biden and Speaker of the House John Boehner, everyone shook hands politely and with great respect before Obama basically announced himself Emperor of America.  It was hilarious because the politicians were all talk spewing forth criticisms like a Pro Wrestler.  But behind the scenes, which is what the State of the Union is really all about—they are friends.  They are all on the same team.  They are all part of the Washington D.C. beltway and are divorced from the reality of the main streets of America.  They are power-hungry, unethical, and more or less scum bags.  Out of all the coverage I heard about the State of the Union, only The Blaze Radio Network articulated my feelings accurately.  Listen to Doc Thompson’s hilarious broadcast covering the day after the State of the Union Address.  It’s well worth the time.  Grab a snack, turn off the television, and turn this broadcast on in the background and enjoy the next couple of hours.

Glenn Beck, who runs The Blaze had even more fun to share about his impressions of the State of the Union.  I’m not the only one who makes frequent comparisons to the fictional film Star Wars these days—Beck saw much what I did in Obama’s speech.  Obama might as well have been Emperor Palpatine from the Star Wars series.  I remember when the film Revenge of the Sith hit theaters, many film critics from the left thought that the primary saga villain reflected George W. Bush’s constant lusting to start wars so to fill the pockets of Halliburton.  That president was the one who brought us The Department of Homeland Security, and paved the way for all the NSA abuses we see today.  But Obama far surpassed Bush with his 2014 State of the Union speech which was almost word for word what was said by Palpatine in Revenge of the Sith.  Obama surely wasn’t even intending to copy the Star Wars villain—yet he did regardless.  Obama’s power grab was driven by human innate desire—the desire to acquire power, and isn’t specific to Obama—but the people who put Obama in power.  That was the point of the Star Wars films, and in the case of American politics on both political sides, fantasy reflects reality all too well.  Watch Beck’s radio coverage on this topic.

The idiots looking for Obama’s autograph slobbering over themselves to shake the hand of the president knowing full well that the guy was planning to rule with Executive Orders paints the whole picture accurately.  These guys are scum, they are addicted to power, and they are out to hurt us all.  They aren’t legislating on behalf of the American people.  They are a joke—and they really think so little of us that they will talk bad about the president to his face playing the media angle representing their side—then they turn around and slobber all over him hoping Obama rubs up against them in the hallway so they can die happy soldiers of solidarity.

The only–and I mean, only media outlet that even attempted to cover main street USA’s American perspective was The Blaze specifically Doc Thompson and Glenn Beck.  Obama really thinks he’s a ruler—and his fellow politicians are perfectly willing to play the role.  They are selling us out—every one of them.  Every idiot who stood in line to shake the hand of an American Emperor contributed to the cause.

If I were there would I have shaken the President’s hand?  I knew you were going to ask that question dear reader…………F**K NO!  I might have politely shunned him and if he tried to force his hand into mine, I would have slapped it away.  If I were invited to The White House under this president, I would not go—under any circumstances.  I certainly would not stand in line to “touch” the dude.

This folly is not the fault of President Obama.  It is a failure of the human condition, the desire to be led about and ruled which comes to us from the distant past when mankind was ruled over by a village chief who designated who made fires, who hunted for food, who had babies and when, and who would be sacrificed to the sun in order to keep it burning in the sky.  One would hope that after several hundred thousand years of evolution the human being would have migrated away from such primitive thinking—but we haven’t.  The slack-jawed idiots of Congress, the wishy-washy Senator, and the many guests drooling from the gallery were mostly enamored by the grace of America’s symbol of an Emperor—the one who rules them all. Very, very few of the people present were there to defend the Republic of America.  Those who have defended America have been label radicals, nut-cases, and right-winged extremists by those who desire to look at Obama as the embodiment of an American Emperor.

Even Bill O’Reilly from Fox News is ga-ga over Obama.  He’s actually proud that he is conducting the pre-Superbowl interview with Emperor Obama.  Over the last couple of weeks O’Reilly came out in favor of Obama’s minimum wage increase of $10.10 an hour.  That should make the pre-interview handshake more pleasant between O’Reilly and Obama.  Both guys are wealthy beyond comprehension and are clearly out of touch.  O’Reilly doesn’t care where the money comes from for the small business person.  He doesn’t care that all the many workers who were making $10 an hour previously will suddenly want $12 and $13 an hour for the same work because now the minimum wage is $10 driving up all wages with inflationary value all over the country.  He’s just another sell-out.   I still watch him—occasionally he does some good reporting–about as good as any media outlet in the mainstream does these days, but he’s still too far to the left for me.

The White House is just a building with a bunch of bricks in it. I’ve been there and was not impressed.  It is a symbol of an American Republic that no longer exists—it is a ghost of its former self and looters like Obama and most of the modern-day politicians are simply using that ghost to advance their lust for power.  The White House is not sacred, it is not magical, and it is not enchanting.  It is just a building and the people in it are flawed human beings corrupted by the imperfections of the flesh.  They are small minded—lackluster collectivists weakened by an evolution of mankind which started in villages and is still functioning from those primal yearnings.  The same dust-covered tribes of hunters and gatherers who spent all their waking moments trying to appease the king or chieftain sacrificing goats to the gods of the sun and moon are the same damn fools standing in the aisle of Congress wanting to shake the hand of a puppet in Obama.  The whole event was just a ceremony designed to make human beings feel “safe.”  To know that their place in the universe is protected by some symbol of authority—in this case it’s Obama.  In the past it was Bush, Clinton, and Reagan.  In the future it will be more watered down feel-good candidates even more useless and ceremonial as human evolution regresses further year by year until the whole thing collapses.

The humor of the situation is the declaration of dictatorship that completely went over the heads of all present—except those with a mind to notice.  It was for me the funniest State of the Union yet.  It was like watching Hulk Hogan standing in the center of a ring challenging all comers to a battle to the death—but knowing that off the stage, all the participants were making plans to go out to dinner and roll in the wealth of their falsehoods.  Taken in that context, the entire event was quite funny—and entertaining—where it used to be just sad.  There was no sadness this time—because I no longer even take it serious.  It’s just entertainment by actors who aren’t even good—just cheesy marionettes of global interest.

Thank goodness yet again for The Blaze and blog sites who covered the situation for what it really was……………a travesty of justice cowering in the ghost-like mist of an American Republic.

BATKID Saves the Day: The power of fantasy, mythology, and hope to cure illness

I have heard for as long as I’ve interacted with people how my enjoyment of fantasy is an escape from reality brought upon by a desire to not deal with the facts of circumstance.  People who desire that the earth is only 4000 years old because thinking outside of those parameters wrecks the foundations of their very lives—do not like things that rock their boat of perceived reality.  They are often content to view the world as it has been prepared for them by politics, public relation firms, and religion—and react with disdain toward those who wish to think outside of those boundaries.  I find such people grotesquely ignorant, small-minded, and foolishly reckless to not only their lives, but those who they come in contact with.  The older I get, the more I despise those people.  They are detriments to intelligence.  Fantasy is the vehicle to take the mind out of circumstance and into places where new ideas are born.  In the context of intelligence the need for fantasy, imagination, and out-of-boundary thought is the specific human need for mythology.  Dogs, cats and gold-fish have no need for mythology—they are driven by the basic need to eat, dispose of their waste, and reproduce.  Nothing else.  The human being thinks—giving mythology a much more important role to their vivid imaginations bringing logic and fantasy together to consider “what if.”  This important process was never so brilliantly exhibited than in the Make-A-Wish Foundation story of 5-year-old Miles Scott who is currently in remission from leukemia.  Watch this!

It would be difficult to be alive and not have heard this story as the media blitz on it was ferocious.  The other day during the interview I did with Matt Clark on WAAM radio, I brought up the kind of things that unify people who appear to be radically different.  We talked about the “Tapestries of Ideology” and once they are removed from their lives, common ground can be achieved.  One of the most powerful “Tapestries of Ideology” is the power of mythology to overcome the ignorance of political boundaries.  This is often what happens in a Star Wars movie where I find I have as much enthusiasm for George Lucas’ creations as Arianna Huffington does.  She is a radical progressive, I am a staunch conservative—but we both love Star Wars for many of the same reasons.  We both love the plight of the rebellion against an evil empire.   She envisions that government should be the way that fairness is given to human kind, and I see it as the destroyer of mankind.  That is where the tapestries of ideology come into play where the color, shape, size and all other factors that go into those ornaments are shaped by society, education, and history.   But the mythology of Star Wars has the power to extend beyond those tapestries to the actual truth—which is why I always emphasis the importance of mythology in society.  It is far more important than politics, or reality as it is shaped by orthodox sources like The New York Times, The Cincinnati Enquirer, or the nightly local news.

As much as I despise President Obama, I shared with the guy a love for little Miles Scott.  As much as I think San Francisco is a haven for progressivism, I loved that much of the city turned out to help make Miles Scott’s wish to become a superhero into a reality.  Because of the little fellow’s intense desire to be a superhero like the mythical Batman—this is where fantasy can take the mind out of the grim reality of a situation to take mankind to a higher place.  Reality says to this child that he has leukemia and that he will die.  Mythology says to this child, there is hope if you can become a superhero—so the survival instinct of Miles Scott chose life over death—and to fight instead of accepting his fate.

Thank God for the Make-A-Wish Foundation showing an interest in this child.  But more than that, thank God the politicians of San Francisco joined in the effort with an army of similar volunteers.  I have never seen such a fine example of the power of myth applied to reality.  Out of all the characters that Christian Bale will ever play, none will be more important than his Batman character because none will ever obtain the ability to pull a city like San Francisco together the way that mythology did.  It started with the fantasy of Batman and his ability to overcome personal issues to fight crime in the actual comic.  Then Miles using that mythology to ask the question “what if.”  Then it took the Make-A-Wish Foundation to give the kid a chance at his dream while he is still healthy and alive—before leukemia attacks him again.  Then it took normal every day people to help make that fantasy into a reality for little Miles.  But in this case, Miles Scott was the focus—the reason for the event, and in a metaphorical way, he saved not just San Francisco—but the entire nation.

Make-A-Wish does this kind of thing all the time.  They are a great organization.   Recently they made a child in Anaheim Batman’s sidekick Robin and a Seattle child a secret agent.  But before they can organize such things Make-A-Wish needs creative people to plant the seed of hope into the mind of a child so that something greater than their circumstance can be comprehended—so that they can make a wish.  This is why superheros, comic books, fantastic movies, and big ideas expressed creatively are so important to us all.  For many kids not suffering the way that Miles Scott is, the same power holds for them as well.  Superheros like Batman are good for the healthy as well as the sick and give hope where reality provided none.

The reason I get so damn mad at those who proclaim that fantasy is an escape from reality is that they are essentially saying that the world would be better off without these influences.   They believe that reality was shaped by the politics of the Greeks and solidified by religion 2000 years ago—and that is just stupid.  Those periods were just small steps in human progress toward creating a mythology that pushed up against the limits of reality to seek something more than the world currently provides.  In the case of Miles Scott and the massive world-wide fanfare that ensued from his desire to be Batkid for a day, somewhere a scientist determined that nobody should suffer death by leukemia.  Likely long after Batkid has come and gone from this earth, there will be a cure that was inspired by Miles Scott’s Make-A-Wish dream and the saving of lives won’t just be a fantasy played out on the city streets of San Francisco.  It will become a new reality—inspired by fantasy and a new ceiling of human limitation will be revealed—and we will all be better off for it.

That is the power of myth, and the beauty of defying reality through fantasy.  Miles Scott saved society for a day by removing the “tapestries of ideology” which divide us all, and put the question on the table—why, and how can “I” fix it?

That! Is Christopher Nolan’s next film……………………..and I will be going to see it!

In a lot of ways fighting a developer who has invested many thousands if not millions of dollars into a parcel of property which was initially turned down by residents complaining about the change of use in zoning considerations is no different from fighting a school levy.  Both involve government and utilize the standard process of beating residents into the ground until they submit to social pressure.  This has never been truer than the re-emergence of the Kroger Marketplace proposal in West Chester, Ohio.  According to the Pulse Journal, Blue Ash-based Silverman and Company Inc. recently resubmitted a request to change 35 acres zoned for residential use to Commercial Planned Unit Development to include a 133,000-square-foot grocery store at the intersection of Tylersville and Princeton Glendale.  This was the same parcel of land in contention during 2013.  CLICK HERE TO REVIEW.

The first phase of the Crossings of Beckett shopping center would include a Kroger grocery store, a bank, a pharmacy with drive-through access–a Fred Meyer Jewelers, a small medical clinic, a Kroger fuel center, an additional 15,000 square feet of retail space alongside Kroger and three additional out-parcels along Ohio 747.  Basically, it’s just another strip mall with gas stations that are already just one mile further to the south.  And there is nothing in the Silverman proposal which helps fill the massive vacancies of the old Biggs retail center just two miles to the south—which to this very day is mostly empty.  The old Biggs center is comparable in size to a Kroger Marketplace, yet Silverman and Company Inc., do not own that property—so they aren’t interested.  They’d rather build on their property of course, at a location of their choosing and if the residents pose resistance—they’ll strategically wear them down the same way school levies from public schools have.

To try to take the edge off the community battle which took place the last time this endeavor was proposed and Tom Egger led the community to resist and suppress those plans the developer made changes to the plan to eliminate the three parcels on the north side of the site.  The new plan also calls for the creation of a buffer zone for residents to the north, according to Tim Burgoyne, Silverman and Company Inc.’s director of site acquisition and development.  This tactic is common for developers so that they can give the illusion that they have compromised.  It is the same stupid thing the local public school of Lakota did when they put their last levy on the ballot.  They spent hundreds of thousands of tax payer dollars to essentially convince the community that they “listened.”  But in reality they just imposed their government backed will upon the voters wearing down resistance.  The developer in this case is performing the same task—but showing the community that they are “compromising.”  They hope to take the edge off Tom Egger’s case and earn the zoning commission’s support of their endeavor with a kind of rigged election process.  Likely the deal was cut with zoning officials before Silverman and Company Inc made their recent announcement.  These guys always dip their feet into the pool before they jump in.

As stated to the media by Burgoyne, “The residents wanted nothing along there, so after meeting with the community and staff members and getting everyone’s input, we believe that we have substantially addressed their concerns and we’re excited to move forward.”  What Burgoyne means is that they moved around the architectural drawings from the original proposal, which deliberately asked for too much knowing they would get resistance from the public—then backed off to their original design so to show that they compromised.  Of course that is speculation, but I’ve been down this road many more times than once—and if that’s not exactly how the situation played out, then I have swamp land on Mars to sell you.

This is supposed to be why we have government, and zoning should look at their vacant properties at the old Biggs Center and evaluate that if they allow this Kroger Marketplace into the empty field of the proposed location, they can forget about ever filling the much more lucrative location at the corner of Union Center and 747 where there are already stop lights, double lanes of traffic and an artery directly into Fairfield, Beckett Ridge, Tri County and I-75.  At the Silverman property all those things will have to be built, which makes developers happy, but will erode away the lives of Tom Egger and hundreds of families in the area.

This of course puts the Trustees of West Chester into a difficult position as they will have to vote upon the zoning recommendations—which will likely fall in their lap this time around.  If they vote against the proposed site they vote against a developer who wants to bring something truly good to West Chester.  The trouble is—it’s in the wrong location.  If they vote for the developer then they doom the lives of many tax payers looking for protection from government—and they will doom the Biggs location.  Prospective businesses for that location will choose the new corner of 747 and Tylersville because it will be the latest and greatest development in the West Chester area.  But 15 years from now, it will be old like the current Biggs location is today, and homeowners like Tom Egger and his family will still be looking at an older building bringing tons of traffic and unseemly elements to his back yard once the media has moved on to the next new thing.

I’m all for developers making a few bucks off their investments.  But the West Chester zoning board said no once before, and here come Silverman and Company Inc., with some market up drawings to give the illusion that they give a damn about what’s best for the West Chester community.  Surely they are counting on the local residents to scratch their heads and declare, “hey–they listened.”  But they didn’t, they just think the people of the community are suckers who will buy into a scam that is as old as time—and they expect to use government to protect their investments.  When Silverman and Company Inc purchased the plot of land in question, their investment was a risk.  There was no guarantee that they would convince West Chester zoning into allowing their proposal to come to fruition.  But with the many games that go on behind the scenes, they use government to protect their investments, even if it goes against the will of the people.  That is what this second proposal is—it’s very disrespectful, and ultimately damaging to the West Chester community.  But Silverman and Company Inc., won’t care.  They’ll make their money, and move on to the next location like vultures picking clean the carcass of road kill.  And within two decades the corner of 747 and Tylersville will look like modern-day Route 4, and replacing the homes of people like Tom Egger will be section 8 designations as government picks up those properties because nobody wants to move into an area that looks down into a Kroger parking lot.  The only people who will want to move to a place like that are future economic despots and people looking for government checks and a nice corner of that parking lot to sell drugs to other treacherous characters and scumbags.  Only the carcass won’t be road kill that time—it will be West Chester.

Doc Thompson and Skip LeCombe on The Blaze Radio: ‘Voice of America’–The New “Cincinnati Liar”

A few months ago while planning a 2014 project to work on together, Doc Thompson, Skip LeCombe and I had lunch at a very non pretentious Springboro, Ohio deli—a little hole in the wall that might be considered in future years to be a kind of sacred spot for the fires of independence.  It was a brilliant autumn day, rain bursts mixed with intense sunshine as the leaves were rapidly changing color and Doc was telling me what was in store for The Blaze—not just the online news organization, the television show on The Dish, but the massive ground swell of listenership that had rocketed the new radio format into a stratosphere with intensely loyal listeners.  I myself had become a fan of The Blaze Radio formally being faithfully supportive of my home town radio station WLW.  Prior to that meeting with Doc, The Blaze had taken over as my premier news providing service.  This of course was before Politico announced that Glenn Beck—who is the man behind The Blaze was one of the top 10 journalists to watch in 2014.  The Blaze Radio had become in a very short span of time a kind of rebel radio for those yearning old-fashioned traditional values in broadcasting that they weren’t getting anywhere else.  It was easy for me to see why; as The Blaze is not controlled by the FCC because it’s all internet based broadcasts are beyond the reach of such government control.  The limits to such a thing even two years ago have now been overcome and this new format was making a serious push to become not an ornamental gimmick, but a legitimate force in the media.

During our lunch I reminded Doc of the days not that long ago when Voice of America which had a famous set of three towers just down the road in West Chester, Ohio—right next to 700 WLW’s gigantic tower in Mason, began in 1942 as a radio program designed to explain America’s policies during World War II.  When I was a kid listening to AM radio I’d hear some of those broadcasts in several languages which sounded deeply mysterious and exotic.  For many of the residents of Lakota—the recent come-lately types from the progressive East—the latté sipping Lakota levy supporters—they have no memory of the big towers which have since been taken down and replaced with a gigantic park.  Most of them do not even attempt to check out the museum at the park explaining the past history of the place as they are content to see and be seen by the whose its and what’s it’s of Butler County around the large lake.  VOA piped in music to the Soviet Union during this early period against the communist movement with the simple words, “Hello!  This is New York calling.”  Each night suppressed communist residents would hover around their radios waiting eagerly for the latest music coming out of the United States—especially American jazz which they developed a bottomless appetite for.  Culture had been destroyed by the communists in the U.S.S.R and the only semblance of art and entertainment that the poor people of communist Russia could get was from the VOA.

After the Cold War the towers came down and West Chester built a park to memorialize the place—a very impressive endeavor which will allow the memory of the VOA’s importance to be remembered as long as the park remains.  People have in a very short time forgotten the role the VOA played in spreading freedom throughout the world—and seemingly the book had been closed on the issue.  Meanwhile, the Russians under KGB influence had some of their own mechanisms in place to spread their message of communist propaganda.  They didn’t have the VOA—but they had a collectivist philosophy to broadcast so they infiltrated through a spy network communist advocacy that took hold in the Democratic Party rooted in colleges and all levels of academia which targeted not the older generation of Americans dead set against communism, but the youth of tomorrow—who are today’s grown-ups.  The net result is the bell-bottomed latte sipping prostitutes in favor of high taxes—for the children at Lakota schools–spending the day at VOA Park renting paddle boats and gossiping about their neighbors have more in common with the communists hovering around the radio in 1957 Russia than they do their parents and grandparents who actually built, provided content and advocated freedom to the world with the VOA.  The KGB had infiltrated American education with a collectivist mentality that would eventually shape the modern-day European Union while American influence in Russia would bring down the communist front of a repressive government.  The repressed people in poverty struck Russia thirsting for American jazz on the VOA threatened to rise up against Russian leaders forcing them to compromise reluctantly with capitalism.  The rest is history.

The KGB strategy of turning American youth against their parents and traditional value worked.  In the present day millions upon millions of confused people educated by collectivists for the spread of large central government are attempting to put shackles on human thought—which is colliding violently with the easy access people have to means of freedom, video games, underground news organizations, and internet businesses like Amazon.com and eBay.  The old broadcast mediums like 700 WLW are losing major ground to upstarts like The Blaze just as  ABC, CBS, and NBC television is losing to Fox News, and the new A&E program Duck Dynasty—places where traditional value is re-emerging.  On The Dish and cable outlets all across America The Blaze television is emerging as a serious force to be reckoned with as the old stations heavily encumbered by the FCC are stifled by bureaucrats trained by the KGB through public education to think as non-competitive statists.  My former school teacher father-in-law who lives in Louisville in a half million dollar home which resides in a neighborhood where the average home costs over $1 million keeps The Blaze Television station on constantly—out of all the channels on The Dish.  The Blaze is his primary choice over CNN, Fox News, or even The History Channel.  And he’s not alone; many of his neighbors are doing the same.  Ten years ago this same group of people were tending to their boats on the Ohio River—hobbies only the very well-off could afford.  Now they are cleaning their AR-15s and daring the government to come after their money and flying Tea Party type flags from their garages.  And what does anybody think these people listen to in their cars on satellite radio?  Of course, Doc and Skip on The Blaze Radio Network.  Companies encumbered as such like 700 WLW are slowly dying as companies not held to such restrictions are thriving.  The Blaze is one of those examples of a thriving endeavor.

As Doc and I spoke I went on one of my hour-long dissertations about the history of the world, the vile reaches of limited educational perspective and just how important The Blaze was proving to be in all of it.  I reminded Doc and Skip that what they were doing with the radio show set up from hotel rooms and small bungalows all across the nation—set up in airport lobbies, marathon broadcasts from Oklahoma, and constant travel to Dallas, New York, and Dayton was more powerful than the original VOE stations.  They had more power in their computers, microphones and portable devices than those gigantic towers in West Chester used to have.  In this day and age the iPads the iPhones, Twitter, online streaming have far more ability to reach people than at any time in the entire history of the world.  On a daily basis I am in constant communication with important people all over the globe.  I actually use the clock feature on my iPad so I know what time it is where people I’m talking to are at—so to plan my messages to them around their sleep schedule.  I check their local times regularly so not to be disrespectful.   Those messages are real-time conversations communicated with the tap of a virtual keyboard which in itself is an amazing achievement.

On my iPad, The Blaze is always on in the background.  The iPad has become my new radio.  I just leave it on, and because of modern technology I can do that.  I can listen to The Blaze unbroken from Florida to my home in Ohio without ever being concerned about losing a signal.  If I stop for lunch at a Steak & Shake outside of Knoxville, Tennessee I can take my iPad in and listen to Doc and Skip at 3 AM in the morning—that is the kind of world we are living in.   With the app features being as convenient as they are this means pure competition is dominating the new broadcasting market.  This is bad news for old stations like 700 WLW in Cincinnati who used to dominate because of their gigantic tower which dwarfed the old VOA towers.  However, on a drive from Central Tennessee to Cincinnati the station is reliant on the AM signal and cuts out in the deep valleys of lower Kentucky.  Internet streaming radio on an iPhone or other satellite service through iHeart Radio or Pandora does not miss a beat.  If I wanted to listen to Doc and Skip on The Blaze in the middle of the Cumberland Gap next to a roaring campfire outside of my tent—I can.  I can listen to The Blaze at an airport in Chicago as I wait for a flight or on a transfer flight across the Pacific at LAX.  I can pick up Doc and Skip in Tokyo, Hong Kong, or on a long flight from Singapore to Paris.  It is no problem in this day and age—no problem at all.

When Tampa Bay—my favorite football team is the Buccaneers—fired their head coach Greg Schiano, I listened intently around the clock to 620 WDAE in Tampa to get the inside of what was going on with one of my favorite cities and the coaching prospects coming in the wake.  Without question some people still listen to 700 WLW and their online streaming to keep up with the Cincinnati Bengals and Reds while they travel for business around the globe.  But what endures is content that the listener values—not values shaped by the FCC—and going head to head against stations like 700 WLW, The Blaze is dominating.  In 2014, it looks like The Blaze Radio will expand even more.  Conventional stations like AM broadcasts in Los Angeles are now syndicating Doc and Skip the traditional way in an attempt to stay relevant.  That is the power of The Blaze Radio which the engineers of the Voice of America would have marveled at only half a century ago.

So it’s an exciting new time, and good things are happening in 2014.  There are a lot of bad things too, but for the first time in human history, those bad things can be discussed clearly, aggressively, and resolutely on The Blaze without distance, government regulation, or international boarders stopping the conversation.  I can listen to Doc and Skip on The Blaze as clearly from a private table in the corner of the Restaurant Bar la Madonna at La Isla Shopping Village in Cancun, as I can from along the river at The Anchorage in Milwaukee over fine wine, and seafood flown in daily from all three coasts.  That freedom new to the human race—has never occurred before—and Glenn Beck is on the cutting edge of it.  As I’ve said before, Glenn Beck has the opportunity to be the new Walt Disney.  He will continue to provide political commentary and news content—but it’s what he’s otherwise working on that will take him in the coming years from something of a fallen star at Fox News and CNN—intentionally sidelined as a way to appease the dark forces afoot in statism—and take him to well beyond where Duck Dynasty currently is.  This will occur because when competition goes head to head with various ideals, the good ones that have always been supported finally have the ability to fight it out under a free market system for the first time.  And that—is why Glenn Beck’s The Blaze is something to watch out for.  It is growing by the day and Doc and Skip are at the front of that wave.  I’m happy to know them both—because this is an exciting time—a time that nobody has ever experienced before—and it’s happening right now.

To see why Doc Thompson is the new “Cincinnati Liar,” watch the video above about the history of the VOA in Cincinnati.  Doc went from an employee of 700 WLW to a star on The Blaze, and the rest is history.  Hitler did not like Cincinnati–and neither did Stalin.  People who think like Hitler and Stalin in the present and future will not like Doc for the same reasons–but they can’t stop it now.
