Trump the Destroyer and Beyond Pairs of Opposites: ‘The Last Jedi’s’ message to the 21st Century

There is nothing I enjoy more than a good discussion about very heady topics.  It really is the only thing that interests me so my mind is often open to these elements when I see them.  And before everyone complains that I’m writing another Star Wars article, it would be worth the time to follow through on this one, because we’re going to talk about some important stuff.  After the dust settled on The Last Jedi—once I had seen it and considered what Disney’s role in the whole thing was, and compared all that to these really massive investigations into the FBI and Donald Trump’s institution cleansing presidency—I have a few thoughts to share to those with a mind to listen.  So here it goes.

Taken up close, there is a lot to be angry about.  There’s a lot to fix, and most of us do not understand our role in the grand scheme of things.  We can call that grand scheme God if you’d like, but I’d prefer the term Grand Fortissimo—A term I acquired after reading the Joseph Campbell masterpieces The Masks of God many years ago for which that term was applied to the steady march and consideration  of the human race—from its inception to the present.  Art after all is the yearnings and toils of the mind and the imagination which fosters it—and Star Wars was always a work of modern art presented as myth to a hungry public needing more than what other forms of entertainment typically give us.  I’m not particularly happy with the direction Disney has taken the Star Wars stories—because taken at the ground level—these new films are very progressive in their values which makes them political in a negative way.  But………what separates Star Wars from the pack is that they are rooted in very ancient mythologies which have been always trying to answer the big meaning of life questions we all seek and to get there it is the orchestral music of John Williams which takes what might otherwise be average television plot lines and elevates them into the realm of modern myth.

As I was thinking about all this I listened to the new Last Jedi soundtrack by 85-year-old John Williams and if there was ever a person on earth that has the powers of God working through him, it is that guy.  Listening to the music with no images attached, just a good symphonic score pulled from the movie is just amazing.  What he put down on paper is something that would rival Mozart or Bach or Tchaikovsky any day.  That Ahch-To them from The Last Jedi which was introduced at the end of The Force Awakens I think represents the direction of the human race in the 21st century and John Williams is quite well aware of it.  It’s fully majestic and deeply philosophical and touches on all the classic myths of our imaginations and shines a light to where we are going.  For Williams to capture all that in just a few notes is nothing short of genius.  As I was listening to that little piece in my car with the windows up and the sound turned up as loud as I could get it to go I received a notification from my oldest daughter that NASA was sending up a copy of The Last Jedi for everyone to watch up on the International Space Station.  On another notification I received the Friday box office results which was tracking The Last Jedi to break over 200 million domestically by Sunday night—which is extraordinary.  Even though I thought the surface plot of The Last Jedi was pretty mediocre—almost descending into the plot of the latest stupid Star Trek movie, Into Darkness—the deeper elements of it are actually quite sophisticated, which is a serious nod of the hat to Rian Johnson, the director.  He chose to essentially make this Episode 8 movie a modern rendition of the classic Twin War Gods Navaho legend and it is quite effective.

Meanwhile Donald Trump is shaking up the entire world of the establishment.  Liberals might see Trump as Snoke from The Last Jedi and they are guarding themselves from the First Order of his creation.  Conservatives see Trump as the Rebellion fighting against an evil faceless Empire where the Deep State has all the power and might we see in the Star Wars movies as being something worth fighting.  The main them of The Last Jedi is the motif of most mythologies that we know of, and that is to move beyond the pairs of opposites—the yen and yang life.  The cultures of our past which built pyramids understood this all too well, you pick your side and work your way intellectually up to the point where you will have to meld with all the other sides of the pyramid.  Life forces you to pick sides, but once the roles we play in the conflict of living are concluded, all sides blend at the point.  At the end of The Last Jedi what Rian Johnson has done was essentially kill all the villains to merge the characters into this concept which was pretty bold stuff.  I am pretty sure that Donald Trump is a Star Wars fan, and I’d dare say he understands what I’m talking about and he knows his role in all this is a Shiva role—a destroyer of evil and a transformer upon our culture.  I remember when the Rogue One Blue-ray came out in April of this year Trump was playing it on Air Force One while reporters where talking to him.  Trump gets it—I’m quite sure of it.  His job is to clear away all the institutional hesitation for which Star Wars is conceptually introducing to the human race a tomorrow for which we presently aren’t prepared for.  That is clearly the intention of The Last Jedi—to bring mankind to the top of the pyramids and to now move beyond—which no culture in the history of the world has done so far—that we know of.  If they have in the past, they left earth long ago.

It was just this week that Trump announced the next steps for NASA which are going to once again use the space race to spur our economy along into uncharted waters.  Within a few decades we will all have to make a conscious decision as to whether or not we want to die—because we’ll be able to download ourselves into some form of A.I.  We’ll also be able to biologically heal ourselves—so there’s that as well. We are moving toward a time where dying for the honor of our flags, or our loved ones is really going to be robbed of its merit—and what are we going to do then?  How do we live beyond the pairs of opposites—once we’ve had reconciliation with the “father” whether it’s the God of the Christian Bible or the Sun from the Navaho legend?  We must have Shiva destroy the old world and to clear away all the smoke so that we can see the top of the pyramid, then we will complete that climb and move into that next age.  Star Wars is providing a road map of thought to help us through art and subconsciously we seem to understand. Donald Trump for the world right now is Shiva—and I say that in the most positive manner.  He is working beyond the villains of Star Wars for that moment on Ahch-To when Luke vanished at the end of The Last Jedi to join Yoda in the realm of the dead—which aren’t so dead—but willing participants in the theater of life.  Very interesting.

Donald Trump and Disney without really planning it in any way are serving as the two greatest influences that are shaping our culture of tomorrow in ways that many of us today still can’t fathom.  I saw a lot of people at my screening of The Last Jedi who are full-grown adults dressed up for the movie.  This stuff is a religion to them now, and that is taking us all to places that are uncharted in the human experience.  While our political assumptions are being destroyed—rightfully so, our art is providing us with a road map to renewed self-discovery.  Star Wars is not just a movie experience; it is amid all the sex scandals and the obvious destruction of Hollywood the best and only safe place that we can still trust.  It’s all around us at Target, Wal-Mart and even in our cars.  It’s fueling the imagination of NASA which has been given wings again under Trump and where we are all heading for is that grand fortissimo I was talking about.  It may take thirty or forty more years, but we’re going to be going somewhere we’ve never been before and I think that is absolutely wonderful.

Why Trump Should Never Stop Using Twitter: If we really want to fix the problems, we have to talk about them

I keep hearing this ridiculous notion that President Trump should stop Tweeting.  Everyone says it, even his supporters—yet they miss that Twitter is the key, and the essence of the American President.  Without it, he would have never been elected to begin with, and because of it, the Deep State is being exposed in ways that no court system would even dare.  Even with the mountains of evidence witnessed about FBI corruption, Jeff Sessions is reluctant to do anything that might draw fire from the establishment and he’s a handpicked Trump guy.  Imagine how bad things really were when Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch were in those activist seats at the head of the Department of Justice. An honest, talkative president is exactly what this country needed, and a platform to speak from because the rest of the institutional elements of our modern society from the press down to the most ardent government employee function in ways that prevent analysis of their purposeless existence.

The President should never stop Tweeting!  The reason so many people are upset about it, and about the times of day that Trump does it is that it shows the establishment that they do not have control of this president—and control is what they were used to.  I remember specifically about George W. Bush, when he was first in office he stated that he hoped to bring the Norman Rockwell paintings that reflected American life back to the forefront of consideration.  Yet within a few months of getting into office he became just another mouthpiece of mundane representation and drifted quickly into the background.  The heads of each department of our government quickly took over and the media filtered the results to us leaving the importance of the presidential role in our country to be largely ceremonial—such as giving pardon to the Turkey during times of Thanksgiving and occasionally signing a bill once congress presented one.  It didn’t matter if the president was a Republican or a Democrat; they were all molded by the establishment into kind of the same neutered presence.  They were to do what they were told and the media would tell the story.  In that way the press was given the impression that they were running things because elected officials accepted that they had to appease the journalists if they wanted to show a track record of success.

Trump as a negotiator is clearly using his skills to push and pull positions which are unique in any elected office.  Trump is a salesman first and the only way he can really discover the position of the opposition is to put out probing ideas and to see how people react to it.  I knew what I was voting for when I cast my ballot for Trump.  I expect him to be malleable on specifics, but resolute on core philosophy and when it comes to him—the thing he cares about most is winning his engagements.  Business people often engage in contentious debate but then settle things over a game of golf or a nice dinner.  That is not how politicians do things—they often present a contentious front to satisfy their donor base, but like big time wrestlers they are all talk and now shows regarding philosophy.  They have no expectation of victory, only to show through the media a track record that keeps them in office with each new election.  They are like assembly line workers who never quite accomplish a task who are leveraging for overtime by saying that if I had just one more hour, they could complete the task.  Yet they never quite get there so they keep asking for more and more and more, then blame the system for why they can never achieve their objective.  Voters are typically too busy to pay close attention to the details and that’s how we end up with the mess we see now—a corrupt government used to doing nothing, running up debt, and ruining the lives of us all with their inside the Beltway priorities.

Most politicians seek to build off a perceived victory but Trump knows that the name of the game is stagnation, so when he does accomplish something big—like enacting deregulation, or rolling back Net Neutrality—or even recommitting America back to the space race—he’ll drop a Tweet picking a fight with someone so that the resources of the “system” fixate on his subject which diverts legislative terrorists from sending in suicide squads to destroy his agenda items—and it works well.  Trump has managed to do a remarkable number of things in his first year and he protects them by keeping antagonists talking about the “small stuff.”  It would be nice if we lived in a world where achievement was respected, and even sought after—but we’re not.  Too many people have a stake in stagnation—it’s actually their livelihood so reform is not in their thoughts.

The sum of all this is of course is that change is happening because for the first time I think in our nation’s history we are talking about things.  Without Trump’s Tweets, the FBI would not be exposed as they are now.  That’s why Chuck Schumer is so upset with Trump’s “Tweets.”  Remember in the beginning of the Trump presidency when Chuck Schumer threatened that the newcomer to politics mind his mouth otherwise the American intelligence agencies would take notice?  That was a threat, and one that has been used on many presidents in the past and other civilians—because don’t forget a president is not a king—they are simply elected civilians who are put in charge of one branch of government—and given the keys to the military so to appease the public with the fantasy that they are the ones in control of that awesome power. In reality the Deep State works for the politicians and the donors and everyone was getting their marching orders from K-Street behind the glitzy prostitutes who show up after the sun goes down.  All the little know-nothing attorneys who become lobbyists and sit in the bars along that stretch of road just outside the reach of the White House have always thought that they were contributing little unelected tid-bits to the realities of our Republic, but not anymore.  Now there is a guy from the civilian sector willing to call them out on Twitter and that scares them literally.

The Deep State assumed that they’d play their game and that Trump would have been destroyed by last summer—because for most people that’s what would have happened.  But when Trump defended himself and fought back—the way anybody should have—the methods which have controlled so many presidents of the past for the entire history of our nation, stopped working. And the house of cards for which they had built their temples of governmental worship fell down quickly as if a child had built the whole thing in a play room before their mother pressed them to dinner.  The entire institution for which our nation was built on the backs of corruption and malice was exposed as just a flimsy plaything for the old aristocrats of Europe who came to America to keep us all tied to the motherland of history.  However, that was never Trump’s mission. His task was to win, not only the seat in the White House, but to win the whole game and give it back to the American people, which is exactly what he’s doing.  And if it wasn’t for Twitter, nothing would be happening.  Trump should never quit using Twitter—and saying the things he says.  We can’t allow the establishment to hide malice behind politeness and rules of engagement that they control.  If we really want to fix the problems of our nation we have to attack them where they truly reside and for Trump—Twitter has been the means of delivery.  The goal of an American president should never be to get along with the media, congress, the FBI, K-Street or even the nations of the world.  The only goal should be to keep America a great nation the best way they can during their time in office.  A lot of them step into the White House with each new election and assume that they are going to change the world for the better—but they soon learn what limited powers they really have.  Within a few months of office they become just placeholders for history and they finish their terms in that role.  Trump is the first president perhaps in the history of the world who is changing that notion on behalf of the people who elected him.  And Twitter is the key to his success in this day and time of 2018.  In the future it will probably be something else but for now, Twitter is the means of restoring America to the greatness that was always there—which likely really pisses off the people who run Twitter because they are hardly a bastion of conservatism.

The Losers of the FBI: They promised an iceberg, but all they found was an ice cube

“Every day, FBI Special Agents put their lives on the line to protect the American public from national security and criminal threats. Bullshit………………….let me just say that right off. We all put our lives on the line trusting idiots like these losers in the FBI—so the risk goes both ways. They haven’t been very effective stopping terrorism, some do get through.  From what I’ve seen of the FBI performance over the last few years, we are in a lot more danger than those overly paid government agents are for doing not much at all but running their mouths and spending too much time at the water cooler talking about their Fantasy Football Picks.

So you are General Mike Flynn who worked in the Obama administration and was hated, and you know where the bodies are buried. You know that the main reason you supported Donald Trump in the first place was to set things right that were observed during that dreadful experience with Obama. You know that the Deep State had their candidates and that the FBI had become weaponized against conservatives, just as it had been in the case of the IRS, and now they are mad as hell that Trump won the election and they were throwing up their hands everywhere looking for a foul that will give them a second chance. Only this isn’t a football game where a great receiver made a spectacular sideline catch only to have the other team scream that he didn’t get both feet down. When the call still goes the way of Trump the Democrats were looking for anything to bring down the incoming administration which is dangerous business because Flynn knows how deep the Deep State really was. So when they asked him if he spoke to the Russians, being the old military guy that he was he sought first by instinct to protect the new administration so he tried to throw off the Deep State with an improperly answered question that he likely thought was harmless. After all James Clapper had lied much worse, and so did Hillary Clinton. Heck, so did Barack Obama when he stated to Bill O’Reilly that there wasn’t a smidgen of corruption in his administration. Even the director of the FBI lied several times—and everyone knew it, so Flynn took a calculated risk to protect Trump’s administration from an overzealous hateful Deep State—and that is the extent of his crime. What’s important to remember is that all this happened AFTER Trump was elected, not before. And for just that, Flynn has had his life ruined by the Deep State—he is losing his house, his reputation, and all his finances defending himself in court as the weight of the federal government pounds down on him just because he worked in the Trump administration, and what they can’t do to the president, they are doing to Michael Flynn. Is that justice?

If I were to speak with Flynn I’d tell him to wait out the storm and that he’s one book deal away from financial recovery because all this pain he is going through today will come out in his favor in the end. What they are doing to him now will have to be applied to everyone in the future and the bodies will start falling soon. Trump is that kind of guy, and I’d support him 100% in turning the tables on these political enemies. Flynn isn’t going to be crucified without something happening to his executioners in return. It is painful to see a good person like Flynn going through this misery, but if you study the trajectory of events, its only a matter of time before Comey, Clinton, and Mueller are on the opposite side of this inquisition, and when that day happens, justice will begin to manifest.

The investigation that promised to bring down half the country in their support of Donald Trump with Comey leading the charge from within the FBI thought they were looking at the tip of the iceberg in regard to Russian collusion. What they found was simply an ice-cube floating in the water melting rapidly. There was nothing under the surface and the results have been embarrassing for the Deep State. Now after a year of vigorous fighting against Trump and his support base, they are a weakened bunch of imbecilic neurotics. They had been hanging their entire case that Flynn was guilty of something, that if they pushed and pushed and pushed that they’d discover that the Trump people were just as guilty as they were and had skeletons in their closets as well. After all, doesn’t everyone—from the perspective of dirty Democrats. Nobody throws stones in glass houses, right? But if you are an outsider not living in a glass house, you can throw all the rocks you want—and Trump has, and now that glass house the Democrats had been living in is a shattered mess. And we are all laughing as they are now cut to pieces with all that glass and left with nowhere to hide.
By the time Flynn does write his book talking about all this turmoil I promise I will be one of the first to buy it. By the time the book gets published we will be living in a different America—which is a way of saying that things will be better for people like Flynn. Just like in sports when a team is clearly outmatched, they lobby the refs for every error hoping to gain an advantage. But in the case of the Deep State against the people of the United States, they have been caught. The FBI is very guilty of a number of crimes themselves which is why they are refusing to submit their documents to a congressional committee for investigation. They took a gamble, picked their side to win, and used the power of the federal government to ensure that everything turned out as planned. Only Trump won anyway and now there is nowhere for them to turn. They tried to avert disaster by destroying Trump’s administration with the power they wielded, but nothing has stopped him and now with this Flynn plea deal, which has personally hurt Flynn a lot, the result has turned out to be that simple little ice-cube floating in the water where the progressives promised a mammoth ice berg capable of sinking the Titanic. That ice-cube isn’t going to sink shit.

Flynn will get his day to come back and be redeemed for what these terrible people have done to him. His book deal should put many millions back in his pocket and maybe he can get a good job the way Oliver North did. But the problem is that General Flynn should have never had to go through all this to begin with. He was made into a political enemy by a Deep State of entitled federal employees who thought they could use the power of their positions to destroy the election of a president conducted legally, and under fair conditions. The preposterous notion that Russia had the power or influence to even manipulate an American election is laughable, and the Democrats did laugh at it just four years ago when Mitt Romney brought up that Russia may still be hostile to America. At that time Obama was whispering to Russia about how much more flexibility he would have after the election—which was collusion in and of itself. The people accusing Flynn of illegal activity are actually the ones most guilty, just as it is with the case of the sexual harassment claims. It’s not Trump or Republicans who are the progenerates of sexual harassment—it’s the people who tried to defer their guilt for those actions onto members of the GOP. Flynn or no American should have to lose their home and deal with such a level of corruption just because they made themselves members of the Trump team. If it can happen to Flynn, it can happen to any of us—and there was never better evidence right out in the open of a corrupt government than what we can see happening to General Flynn.

The FBI aren’t a bunch of Boy Scouts. Some of them are good people, and some of them are just milking out a paycheck. They aren’t all uniformly “great” just because they wear the badge. Thomas O’Connor needs to get a grip, because we aren’t all that stupid.

Playing ‘The Art of War’: The Flynn plea deal sets up a Hillary Clinton prosecution

It was actually hilarious to wake up on Sunday morning after a really crazy week in politics to hear that President Trump had plunged in his job approval rating to 62% disapproval.  Where do they get these numbers, from the sales office of CNN where someone comes into their cubical maze and takes a show of hands?  The reality is likely that those numbers are completely opposite because plenty happened this week to eliminate any suspicion to the contrary.  And with that I have to give Rush Limbaugh a lot of credit.  He also showed this week why he is the best in the business.  As news broke on Thursday of General Flynn flipping to deliver the goods on President Trump to the special investigation prosecution of Bob Mueller the world melted for a few hours thinking that this was it—this was the smoking gun that was going to knock Trump out of the White House.  I often joke about how many times I’ve been to court and those experiences have ruined the formality of those proceedings for me now—so much so I don’t take anything serious.  As the stock market plunged over 300 points with the news liberals were literally stepping all over themselves with excitement revealing their true prejudice—most notably on The View at that mid day moment.  I was in my car going to a lunch meeting when the calm voice of Rush Limbaugh came on at noon and told everyone to calm down—don’t believe what you are hearing.  He went on to say that the news breaking on the Flynn news was ABC after all, and specifically Brian Ross.  Ross had jumped to judgment before filling in facts with his fantasy outcomes and that he couldn’t be trusted in this matter.  ABC within hours of that release had to suspend Ross for four weeks without pay once it was revealed that the information released by ABC News was grossly inaccurate and filled only with wishful thinking—exactly the way Rush Limbaugh had called it in the heat of the moment.  Rush was the only one to do that and after his words came out the Dow -market was already climbing back into its position over 24,000.

As part of his job on the transition team General Flynn was assigned to contact Russia, and many other countries to pave the way for the Trump agenda. Specifically in this case he was supposed to get talks going with Russia to get their buy-in for dealing with Syria and the fight with ISIS.  That way by day one after the Inauguration Trump’s White House would be ready to go.  The Obama people knew what Flynn was doing because they were illegally spying on Trump’s people in Trump Tower and looking to derail the incoming president using the Deep State to destroy him before he ever got into office.  So they used the little bits of information they heard during their unmasking operations to leak assumptions to the media to cast doubt on the validity of the election—just like what Brian Ross was guilty of—and the Democratic Party took the baton and ran with it.  They did after all what they always do when they are the ones guilty of something—whether its racism, sexual misconduct, or flat-out corruption, they transfer their guilt to someone else and accuse them of doing the deed.  But Trump doesn’t play that game.

I was actually in a pretty good mood after the Flynn news broke because if he was going to plead guilty to lying to the FBI over his role in missing a few details to investigators while they all got their feet wet in the Trump administration when pressured by the FBI, then Hillary Clinton and the Obama White House were in much more trouble.  To me this news from the previous year that had terminated the employment of big names like Bill O’Reilly and Roger Ailes at Fox News had to of course be applied to everyone else.  So when it was the liberals lost their heroes to the same criteria.  With Flynn pleading guilty to lying to the FBI which is why Trump had to fire him in the first place, when the same criteria was applied to someone like Hillary, she was going to be in much more trouble.  So I couldn’t see why everyone was so excited—other than that they were too stupid to understand all the legal issues at play.

Any information that might lead to some bad polling for Trump was obviously taken from people who were watching The View that morning and bought the media narrative that Trump was going to be driven out of office by his former friend Michael Flynn who was turning on Trump with a plea deal to save his family from ruin by Mueller’s team.  There is just so much wrong with all that—the nature of the Mueller investigation and the liberal hope that they might violate all kinds of rules to deliver an outcome they desire.  Then their willingness to play that out through a vast media conglomerate owned by the Disney Company proved the bias that we’ve always known was there but only in speculation arrived at by observation.  Now we had the fact that people like Brian Ross were willing to tell a completely false narrative hoping to drive the contents of the story toward an outcome of pure fantasy—fake news.  It was now in front of our faces—there was no speculation.

By the time I arrived at my lunch meeting it was pretty obvious to me what Trump was doing.  After all, every good negotiator has the skills to do it—and Trump is great at negotiating.  Trump was just utilizing The Art of War to flush out his enemies and get them to reveal their positions—fighting those who have already lost, fighting on the high ground—and all that.  When Bill O’Reilly criticizes Trump for stumbling over every good thing that he does, but then Tweets something that fuels the fires of discontent—what Bill and virtually everyone miss is that those actions are purposeful.  Only a politician wants credit for all their little accomplishments—and they want to be showered in adoration for them.  In the past this is how the media was able to move presidents toward their liberal desires because deep down inside those politicians wanted to be loved.  Trump as a businessman understands where that love comes from—it isn’t given out by the media, or by the political class.  It is given out by results, and so long as results drive his motivations, Trump will always have enough by the public to do what he needs to—which is to produce tax cuts, or return Christmas to the White House—or stand up to North Korea.  Or make fun of Elizabeth Warren’s self-proclaimed Indian designation while standing in front of some elderly Navaho posing for pictures in front of a portrait of Andrew Jackson.  By doing outrageous things, it draws out your enemies from their hiding places making it so that you can then crush them.  I use that tactic every day in some form or another just as any good business person does.  And Trump is now using those tactics in a place where they have never been applied, and the results are devastating for the opposition.

When Trump gave his first interviews as president-elect he stated that he didn’t want to go after his old friends the Clintons—and I think he was sincere about that at the time.  Since he won the White House, why drive a stake through the heart of his enemies?  It wouldn’t look good after all to prosecute his former rival because he just might see her again in four years for the next presidential run.  Trump couldn’t be accused of throwing his political rivals in jail—so he indicated that he would let the matter go of Hillary’s crimes for which the FBI obviously covered up for her. But Trump set the stage, he sent out Tweets which outraged his enemies and he flew his flags to unify the country behind his cause.  He picked his fights with the NFL, with CNN, with LaVar Ball, with Little Rocket Man—with even the mayor of London and their supporters pushed hard to fight Trump which drew them off their perches in darkness to reveal their motivations in the light of day. And they have been slaughtered day by day because of it.  Now because of the Flynn plea, which is nothing new after all that Mueller investigation cost of time, money, and public opinion—now those who are much more guilty than Flynn are going to have to have justice applied to them—and that means people like Brian Ross and Hillary Clinton are now going to be held accountable—which is what Trump wanted all along.

To fight your enemies you have to draw them out to where you can see them—and that’s what Trump has been doing with his Tweets, and other methods.  By the time the smoke clears it will be the Trump White House that is still standing.  Everyone else will be vanquished in defeat, and that’s how America will be Great Again.

Jesus Would Have Been a Communist: How Democrats have spread mass evil into every aspect of our lives

Even though this scene is from the fictional HBO show, Game of Thrones, it is based on real historical precedence.  Watch first before reading what follows.  In this scene the mother of the king, Cersie Lannister was stripped away of all her “material possessions” to be purified by the house of religion.  In all reality it was a power play by the church to take over the throne of power using her as a symbol of a conquered ruler.

I was having a very nice time at the Canterbury Cathedral book store.  Just hours earlier my family and I had a wonderful meal at Gordon Ramsey’s three Michelin Star restaurant in Chelsea and I was enjoying a life well lived from the opulence of that dining experience to the rugged, and bitter cold of a harsh London rain dumping enormous amounts of moisture from the Jet Stream above as it scooped up water out of the Atlantic in February and dumped it on my head as my wife and I strolled the streets of that ancient town and all its history.  3CDAB75F-D952-4E2B-9C53-0C3E50679143.jpegWe had toured the old cathedral which witnessed so much history over the last thousand years that I was a little bit in heaven walking through that book store with a mountain of books in my hands standing at the cashier as water droplets from the heavy rain outside still dripped off the brim of my leather cowboy hat.

I love life in the United States, but the bookstores are much better in Europe, especially England because people still read there as part of their daily life.  Television isn’t very good in England and most of the good movies are made in America, so England still has people who look at reading as a valuable trait, and I share with them that sentiment.  The cashier joked that she had not witnessed anybody yet in the year who bought as many books as I did which was more truth than customer pandering.  And to reward me for the large bill she rang up on the register she offered me a free book which she had stacked up on the table behind her.  It was called The Red Dean of Canterbury by John Butler and was a respectful biography of the communist advocate Hewlett Johnson who spread his message of a collective based Utopia from the very ground I was standing on and that message reached the ears of all the big communist leaders around the world from 1831 to 1963.  Johnson used essentially his high position within the Church of England to espouse the merits of communism as he paralleled the teaching of Christian belief with that of communism—as one in the same.  He used the church to advocate and strengthen the communist idea around the globe as he viewed God’s Kingdom of God on earth as the ultimate Marxist Utopia.  To him, and to many that he convinced over his life span, they were indistinguishable.

I knew much of the story of Hewlett Johnson before the cashier handed me that very good book.  I don’t mean that the content within the book was something I agreed with, I almost turned it away because of the content.  But the quality of the book was very good, the binding was excellent.  It had great weight which meant great paper quality and a lot of love had gone into its publication which I thought was odd for it to be offered for free to anyone who spent over $100 in their store. Because of my large order I joked with the lady as I held it instantly recognizing its fine quality if I could have six of them since my total was large enough to ask the question.  She of course took me too literally and seemed pained to tell me that there was a limit to one per customer.  I brushed it off realizing that my American humor was out of context here in the heart of the literary world, so I took the book and looked for the first opportunity to read it.

We met up with my daughter and her family at The Old Weavers restaurant for a bite before calling it a day.  That particular place was over 500 years old and had a very picturesque view of the River Stour which flows by directly outside the window.  To get into the place I had to duck my head as people were obviously much shorter in 1500 AD when The Old Weavers was built.  Across the street literally was the Franciscan friary of Canterbury where to this very day the Anglican Franciscan’s are still functioning much the way they had since 1200 AD.  So it was a good place to start reading John Butler’s fine book and I did so here and there the rest of the day.  Our diner turned into shopping in town so as I waited for the girls to do their collection of “bits” I sat on benches around town reading the first couple chapters of The Red Dean of Canterbury. I was a little surprised that the under Hewlett Johnson’s watch the old friary was sold to the Dean in 1959 and it has functioned in that original capacity since.  As I read my book and watched the modern monks helping the poor around town my first thoughts were that everything was good in the world.  Thank goodness for the good work and ministry that the monks performed, I thought it was quite a service.

But that was only on the surface.  Underneath all that good intention, which is something I have always felt about churches in general, is a collectivism that I rejected personally a long time ago.  Another book that I bought in Canterbury was a fabulous book about Martin Luther the rebellious protestant who challenged the Catholic Church and its vast European empire with a new decentralized version of religion.  I grew up Lutheran and was actually very close to my church’s pastor.  Most every Sunday I worked directly with the pastor from the front of the church pouring wine and feeding bread to members of the congregation as he went behind me blessing everyone. I was heavily involved in church scholarship from say 13 years old to about 16 so I’ve been a part of that life heavily before, but I was always skeptical of it.  Skeptical because the concepts never seemed right to me, all the notions of sacrifice and altruistic behavior seemed foreign to the concept of American capitalism.  And the church (my church) put itself often in perpetual peril with the bank that held their mortgage—much like the monks did in England.  They made a choice not to worship materialism and the money which represented value in capitalist societies—because to them the only value worth anything was the values of the church.  My dad was part of the church leadership and tried for over 30 years to keep the business end of the church flowing since none of the pastors or the members of the Lutheran leadership in Cincinnati had any love for money—they ultimately were destroyed over time to the notion that God would provide—when God didn’t.  Not all churches are short-sighted, some actually make a lot of money—which is good.  But my experience was very similar to what I witnessed in England with the modern monks and the history of the church at the center of all politics around the world starting essentially in those very places where I was reading The Red Dean of Canterbury.

Reading that book three decades after my own experiences with the Lutheran Church in America and having the ability to walk through so many historical sites in Canterbury as I considered them was very revealing to me.  I am, and continue to be, very weary of religion because most of them around the world originate in the east, including Christianity.  If Jesus Christ were born today he’d be a communist—or at least a socialist which is why all those damn hippies from the 60s were wearing their hair long and always talking about Jesus Christ being a superstar.  The tenets of global Christianity reject American capitalism and the money our “material” culture represents.  I can’t help but notice that the communist and socialist movements are undeniably an unspoken organization of Christian Marxists which have penetrated our societies in a very confusing ways.

The vast evils that the Democratic Party have been able to inflict on American society are that they exploit this duality for which most of the conservative right Bible thumping voting base functions.  For instance, most conservatives believe in personal property and the merit of making money.  But they also tend to believe in the messages spoken by the church which can be essentially termed Christian Marxism, shedding away personal property, the merit of community over individuality, sacrifice (like abortion which is mass murder on a grand scale), and a pandering to the poor.  Modern American Christian people find themselves in a paradox for which they are locked in indecision and Democrats exploit that indecision for their own desires to expand the influence of Marxism, even into the church so that congregations will take those values into their communities and attack the foundations of capitalism.

I purposely started off this article talking about my personal enjoyment of buying books, which are material items, eating at Gordon Ramsey’s very expensive restaurant in London, and shopping in Canterbury where my girls were able to indulge a bit while traveling—because those are all elements of capitalism which are good and far superior to Marxism.  Being able to pay $1500 for a meal at a 3 Michelin Star restaurant doesn’t mean I should be flogged in the streets by the poor because they want some of what I have.  There are few people in the world who work as hard as I do, so if I want to take my family to an expensive restaurant, or buy $600 worth of books in a Canterbury bookstore, I can.  Money is a tool to use in my life to live life and experience the many miracles of existence.  Being poor is largely a decision and if young people don’t learn to work hard and make money early in their lives, they will always be victims to the message of Marxism, all their lives.  That problem is compounded by the paradox that it is essentially Marxism that is taught in churches, even today.  Most of what goes on in Bible school can be found on the pages of Karl Marx’s works.

Church lost its appeal to me long ago when after many years of telling me that I was born into sin and that I needed an institution of an official religion to be saved from that nature.  I called bullshit.  I am not an atheist by any measure, but no church on earth goes to the extent that I do to satisfy my personal spiritual sanctity.  I am no sinner and just by being born I’m not condemned to such an insane policy.  I literally think that in America a new religion based on the Christian premise of decency should evolve as a kind of Power of Positive Thinking type of evolution, instead of the crimes of the rich against the poor and the transitory nature of all life with an ever-increasing eye on the afterlife.  Marxists have latched onto Christian concepts to help sell their European collectivism to a greater audience and one of the biggest advocates of that effort, Hewlett Johnson was not shy about it.  Most people in his position, like the current Pope of the Catholic Church won’t talk about how similar their religion is to Marxism.  They don’t figure that the comparison is applicable because Christianity has been around for a much longer period of time.  Marxism is relatively young by comparison, but they are alike.  They are born out of the same notion of sacrifice being the value of existence.  Sacrifice is not; productivity is—doing things, thinking things, and always inventing things. Morality emerges best in productivity, not in sacrifice which is quite an extraordinary thing to say because for 300,000 years, likely longer, mankind has never accepted the basics of that statement—except in the United States for about 100 years—from 1790 to 1890.  Like the monks in Canterbury, feeding the poor is equivalent to feeding the problem, yet we do it because we think Jesus will love us more for it.  But in actuality we are making the poor worse because we don’t encourage their individuality to excel, we teach them to retreat and turn toward the church for guidance—or the great congregation of society to rectify the situation.

It’s a complicated problem if we try to merge the values of politics with those of religion.  But that is essentially how the Democrats attack the conservative right, by exploiting this duality of values to the point where we all just blank out.  We love money in America; we love expensive vacations, nice cars, and our big televisions, cell phones and the commercialization of Christmas.  But we feel guilty because institutional churches still rooted in the philosophies that gave birth to Marxism in the first place tell us that the way to an afterlife is through Jesus, because we were all born into sin and he is the only way to eternal life. The Jesus of the institutions was a hippie loser who was basically one of the first communists in the world—according to our history books written by modern scholars—who are mostly all Marxists themselves.  Just as John Butler loves Hewlett Johnson and reveres him as a hero of the modern communist movement.  I doubt there is a bookstore in America who would give out copies of such a nicely made book like, The Red Dean of Canterbury.  The production values of the book alone would be cost prohibitive for American audiences.  But in England where those people have been conquered 1000s of times over the centuries, they looked toward the Dean of Canterbury for guidance and his advice which many listened to was to become nice Christian Marxists and get ready for the afterworld.  But I think they all miss the point, because American capitalism has evolved into the real answer.  If Jesus were alive today I think he would have voted for Donald Trump and would have liked the church the modern president attended as a child by Norman Vincent Peale.  There is a lot more good that comes from wealth and hard work than ever came from monks handing out donations to the poor.  Flowing altruism through institutions is the point of emphasis for the church and would ultimately become the focus of communist and socialist governments.  But in America we rejected that notion and it’s about time that we declare our independence not just from governments, but even Marxist philosophies no matter how they are presented to us.  I think it’s time that we make Jesus a capitalist and take away the values of the church from the Marxists who have set up camp in the houses of religion for the perpetuation of global domination of communism—and I think it’s time that we do that now.

Secretly, Mitch McConnell Want’s to Lose the Senate to Democrats: There’s more to Moore’s accusers than just “girl power” complaints

OK, it’s officially overboard, and since nobody else will say it, I will.  We can’t allow ourselves to become such a panty waste culture driven by the indecisions of some women and their confusing whims of speculation, by constantly complaining and expect everything to turn out well.  Now that we’ve become so progressive and empowered them, you see the problem?  They are using their “girl power” to bitch about everything and to kill us all with their mixed messages.  But to accuse former president Bush who was 79 years old at the time of groping her ass at 16 years old, the latest victim of unwanted sexual advances by powerful men in an ever-increasing man hating society is Roslyn Corrigan.  The event supposedly took place way back in 2003 during a photo opportunity, but this girl and her mother just now decided to jump on the band wagon and capitalize off the event to get their 15 minutes of fame, which for a lot of these girls, that’s all they are after.  I seriously doubt old man Bush was thinking of throwing Miss Corrigan on a nearby table and going to town on her planting his seeds of manhood for the fulfillment of sustaining his family line.  I think this chick has watched too many episodes of Game of Thrones. 

Likely Bush meant to grab her waist to pull her in for the shot but accidentally grabbed her ass misjudging the distance.  It happens all the time in elevators and other tightly packed areas where humans congregate.  Knowing that, I am surprised that members of congress have been so willing to condemn Roy Moore who is running for a senate seat in Alabama after a series of women just like Roslyn Corrigan lined up, in October of all times, 40 years after the fact, and accused the Republican politician of inappropriately touching them?  They should all know better.  We can’t set a criteria like this.  Women do use sex as a weapon—and they are no better than men in their climbs for power.  Men are more literal, women are more emotional—but both have burning obsessions for power and if we allow every little thing to advance women who are craving attention—and thus power—to capture our minds the way this Moore case has, then a lot of people are in a lot of trouble—just as the 90 something year old George Bush is now.

I had almost the same thing happen to me recently that happened to President Bush, only the woman was about 900 years old and her ass was so big that I’d have to go five miles out of my way to avoid touching it.  But I always try to be polite and nice, especially to women and the way she looked at me after showed that she was starving for the contact which she may have done completely on purpose.  It certainly wasn’t on purpose on my end.  But that scenario sounds just like the recollection of Roslyn Corrigan.  These accusers of Roy Moore from 40 years ago is just ridiculous.  Are we really going to allow every woman who attempts to seduce a man but ends up losing to some other woman the ability to drudge up things a half a century later to affect the lives of the man?  I mean Harrison Ford was screwing Carry Fisher on the set of Star Wars when he was in his 30s and she was only 19—and our society accepted that as perfectly fine.  Once a girl starts having her period, biologically we all agree that she is loaded with the most dangerous weapon in the world, the ability to grant sex and to use it to get what she wants when she wants it.  That is how we are all wired as human beings, men and women.  I think Roy Moore by the way he’s defending himself probably had thoughts about those young girls at the time, but so what.  In the evangelical community especially, there are a lot of born again Christians who used to drink too much and have too much sex who use the church as a new beginning, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see that as Moore moved into his 40s, that he had some of that born again quality.  The guy has more than rectified anything in is most recent career to satisfy any desire to touch young women appropriately by biological predilection.  Anything he might have done wrong is only forbidden in modern political context.  It’s like outlawing R rated movies 40 years from now then putting people in jail because they watched one before they were outlawed.

The truth of the matter is worse than the accusation in this case of Moore, because many members of the Republican Party have shown entirely too much eagerness to throw the Alabama politician under the bus so they can have something even greater for them—an excuse.   These politicians like Mitch McConnell and Senator McCain want Roy Moore to lose the Alabama senate seat so the Democrats can take it because they want to lose their majority.  They want the Democrats to win so they can go back to the excuse of inaction as a body of politics.  They want the pain to stop, the expectation that Trump has in performance to go away so they can go back to the way things were, and these accusers of Moore from 40 years ago is their ticket to the good ol’ days.  So being the short-sighted idiots that they are they are giving voice to these accusers knowing that any of them could also be accused of the very same thing.  Yet they think that if they throw somebody else as a sacrifice to these goddesses of modern-day sexual interpretations, then perhaps they will be spared the scrutiny.

It was a year ago when Donald Trump went through the very same thing.  If Roy Moore sticks to what made him so popular to begin with, he’ll come out fine in this election.  The same politicians came out against Trump only back then nobody really thought he’d survive.  I remember how tough it was the weekend of the Access Hollywood tape.  I stood with Trump that Saturday morning and was one of the very first people to call bullshit on the story—and that’s what is going on with Moore now.  What he did with some young women who were doing their own kind of fishing with a young powerful person is irrelevant to what the 70-year-old man brings to the table now.  None of it matters except in feeding this ridiculous “girl power” machine that is on the rise everywhere these days hating men and thinking they will retain power based on the power of complaint.  Women are going to find that men will paint them out of their lives like just about every man does over 40 when sex is no longer a priority for them and they build a man cave in homes to get away from the constant bitching of their wives.  If a guy can’t cup the ass of some chick that is mutually looking to use her body to advance her career, there is no incentive for men to participate in anything women have to offer—because that is a basic interaction between the sexes.  The progressive fantasy is that men and women will sit down and speak to one another about what’s on their minds and treat each other civilly.  But the truth is men talk about banging women and women talk about manipulating men, and until that changes, the sex games will always rule the human species.  On the current political trajectory women will be left with all the power in the world but no one to share it with.  Then they’ll start bitching because nobody wants to deal with them.   All women are doing successfully with all this bitching is making America like almost every house on Thanksgiving Day where the men sit in the living room watching football while the women cook in the kitchen complaining that all the men want to do is watch TV.  Women can take over every senate seat, every house seat, they can even be president.  Taking away the game of the sexes won’t make a better world, it will simply give women one more thing to complain about as they apply their makeup and cover themselves in perfume to get men to look at them only to complain later that nobody is interested.   When the game of the sexes gets too hard and its more of a pain in the ass to deal with women who play too many games with sex, most men including the most powerful in the world will buckle to retreat to their man caves where everything makes much more sense.

Knowing all that the establishment Republicans who have so easily come out against Roy Moore should be ashamed of themselves.  By speaking against Moore they are feeding this progressive girl power movement with more logs on the fire which will eventually burn them too, just as it has former president Bush of all people.  And they were willing to do it for the simple desire to retreat back to how things were.  They want the Democrats to take over the Senate so that they can safely hide in the shadows letting Chuck Schumer fight Trump’s agenda getting the Republicans off the hook of expectation.  That’s why they have come out against Roy Moore.  They don’t care about the women, they are afraid of the social expectations that modern politics is applying to them—and they want out.  If Roy Moore is defeated, then it will only take a few more seats lost to give up the majority which is precisely what Mitch McConnell wants.  He doesn’t want to be the majority leader any more.   He just wants to protect the swamp, and instead of having the courage to say it himself, he is hiding behind a bunch of old ladies who are complaining about something that happened 40 years ago—and he’s dumb enough to think that will work out well for him and all the other men involved going forward.

For women it’s the oldest trick in the book and every married couple knows how it works. In an argument between men and women the woman brings up something from the past which the man feels guilty about to disarm him and win the fight.  Most of the time the woman gets her way as the man buckles under the guilt.  Ultimately what causes the man to buckle is his fear that he won’t get sex from the woman until they rectify their argument?  So the man being the short-sighted biological entity compelled to make the same mistakes over and over again gives in to the wife and the wife advances herself in the family always keeping that card in her back pocket for use whenever she may want something again.   Over twenty to thirty years of this, and perhaps many wives latter once a man’s prostrate starts going and they are no longer interested in sex because all the attractive women are the ages of their daughters and the women around them are losing estrogen and starting to look and feel like other men—they just retreat to their televisions, their man caves, or into politics where they can get away from women and be around other men who understand.  And now women are even going into those places where men hide, and nothing good can come out of that relationship.  What happens when you paint an animal into a corner with nowhere to go?  They get pretty vicious.  Right now they are hiding behind Roy Moore, but once he’s out of the way, where will they go after that, after they’ve lost the senate, they’ve lost their man caves, and they’ve lost people like Moore and Trump to hide behind?  I predict a bad result—nothing good can come from it.

And for the record, even though Trump and his daughter have not backed Roy Moore–I stand with Roy Moore.  I think he’s a good judge and a good Christian.  I don’t care if he had an orgy with a bunch of girls in his car–that was a long time ago and his career has shown that he’s not that kind of person over a long period of time.  If he was a horny little bastard and those sins carried him to the house of religion for which he has functioned with great conviction, then I’m good with him and would be proud to vote for him in Alabama.  He’s a lot better person than most of those senators in Washington–and given these allegations, that’s saying a lot.

The Evil of Liberalism: They can’t live with us, and we can’t live with them

Once upon a time I lived in an apartment on the U.C. campus on the second floor.  Directly below was an extreme liberal who happened to be the director of a play, one of the most controversial in Cincinnati’s history that was running at the Taft Theater.  She was deeply connected to our local media, the U.C. campus and the politics of Cincinnati and using those connections she managed to slide through the many controversies and bring to life Equus for the extreme conservatives of the Queen City.  The play featured full nudity and sex on stage in front of everyone which I thought was weird at the time, I still do.  But living a floor up from the director I had an opportunity to speak to her about the whys and how’s and after learning more about her mind, I was even more disturbed.  She seemed like a nice person when you spoke to her and was even a little attractive for an older lady.  At the time I think she was in her 40s when I was in my 20s.  From the apartment windows next to my room I could see clearly down into her apartment through the reflection and she was constantly nude.  She seldom wore cloths which to a twenty year old seemed cool, but to the long view of my mind which lasts many lifetimes was pretty kooky.  I mean, as a species, we invented cloths for a reason—it’s nice to have a barrier against the elements of living.  But in her liberal view of the world, primal reflection was important so she thought there was merit in a native approach to life.  Therefore, her production of Equus in Cincinnati was more political than artistic and as nice as she was, she felt it was her right to attack the conservative sensibilities of her audience with art that insulted them—to wake them up and ignite in them an activism toward liberalism’s merits.  She was essentially using sex to sell the values of liberalism.

And talk about sexual harassment since we are going back as far as four decades and penalizing people for things so far back these days—as a young man, 19 to 25 I wanted to use my natural charisma and insight to ride my good looks into an acting/modeling career.  I had dated several models, my wife was a model and her sister was being groomed to be a model.  Being around attractive people a lot gave me a window into what goes on at photo shoots and modeling agencies.  I was just a little stunned when my photographer who was a lady doing my portfolios wanted me shirtless most of the time and she always wanted my pants unzipped.  I thought that was weird because if we were modeling pants for department stores why would they want to see them coming off?  Turns out this lady had the hots for me and how she wanted to photograph me had nothing to do with production photos, and more to do with her personal fantasies.   Looking back on it I could easily say she was sexually harassing me, but I would never think to do so.  I’m certainly no victim, and I never have been.  I thought it was kind of funny and I went about my business.  But I can easily see how wires get crossed in these things and I can promise from personal experience that most people who end up as models go through some of that.  My wife hated it and the moment she could get out of modeling, she did.  She always thought the people in that industry were creepy and thus, we ended up doing almost nothing with our lives that involved the entertainment industry.  I went on to write and do other kinds of work in entertainment on and off for the next twenty years, but my wife’s first instincts as a young attractive woman was correct.  The people in entertainment that were overwhelmingly liberal had this desperate attraction to primitive behavior and they really couldn’t keep their cloths on or the cloths of the people they are working for.  My wife’s sister went further with modeling than my wife did and actually ended up being considered for the New York scene, but she was not comfortable with nudity and that put the clamps on her career.  Because after all, producers, directors and modeling agencies figured that if this girl won’t show the goods, there are 1000 outside their doors who will—so they have no patience for such young women who won’t even show their tits.  Would Emilia Clarke have the opportunities she is having today if she didn’t get naked and have sex on-screen in the Game of Thrones?  Not a chance.  She’s a great talent, but she had to play the game.  That’s why she’s where she is today, not because she’s a great actress.  She had to feed the machine of liberalism to advance her career.

There are many other stories I could tell, but in reflection regarding the news of our day and whether or not we can live in a America where liberals have an equal say in our democratic process, as a way to manage the Republic for which we stand, one nation under God, indivisible—and all that– I am quite certain that we can’t.  For most of my life until about ten years ago I dealt with liberals often, and I was able to do so and not compromise my own very conservative beliefs.  I was a live and let live guy for sure.  I didn’t feel a need to convert a liberal to a conservative and if they were a little flaky I found some common ground to deal with them, which I still do.  One on one, I am very accommodating to people who don’t think the same way as I do.  But when I write, that is a much more private thing and I do so to share my ideas with people essentially because I want to help them become better.  If I can take my experiences and observations and make people around me better, I am willing to do it.

More though I have the feeling that liberalism is just evil—it is born out of evil and it works for evil needs only.  There is no place for it among a free people—because liberalism isn’t free. The intentions of liberals is to use the natural desires of our physical bodies to exploit our weaknesses and seduce us into a collective unification for an ultimate destination of evil action—whether its political support for mass killing, like abortion, or destroying evidence and manipulating the American intelligence agencies to give Hillary Clinton a free pass to keep her out of jail even though she committed acts of extreme abandonment of conscious righteousness.   Liberalism in every form allows for the furtherance of evil in our world and there is no way to avoid that conclusion.  Liberalism attaches itself to the weak and strives to make them equal in the world not by building them up, but by tearing down the world around them to the levels of their vile discontent.

Hollywood is throwing itself under the bus right now hoping to reset their reputation and throw people off the real trail—the far worse things that go on to people who want to be in movies or on the pages of a magazine.  And by casting such a wide net they hope to derail the world of politics such as in the case of Roy Moore who supposedly 40 years ago allegedly touched a girl who was 14.  The guy is 70 years old now—who the hell cares?  Those kinds of thoughts have long left the mind of an elderly man, and that makes them much more trustworthy.  There is no rectification with liberalism; there is no low that they will endure which is too much.  They are against virtually everything that is productive about human thinking and they represent a vile evil which is seductive and aims to destroy our virtue at every opportunity.

In my cases with the women I spoke about, especially the photographer I have always been ultra confident.  They may have had ideas but my raw conservatism was a big turn off to them which is why things never went further than what I’ve described.   In conversations with that play director I never thought Equus was anything more than an excuse to get people naked on a stage to make audiences uncomfortable—and call it art.   Heck even Daniel Ratcliff—the Harry Potter kid fell for that crazy liberalism crap when he played the lead role in Equus as one of his first opportunities after leaving the Harry Potter movies.   He did the full nudity thing in London where the play exhibited recently and for the same reasons that I described about the Taft Theater presentation.  Instead of the producers being my neighbor, it’s a new set of liberals who are using shock to advance their primal utterances and pull mankind into a flutter of liberalism from which it can never escape once seduced.  Daniel Ratcliff destroyed his career when he allowed his managers and industry producers to convince him that showing his goods on stage was a good thing to do.  Even Harrison Ford’s blockbuster status fell to earth in the 90s when he made the movie Presumed Innocent where he had sex with a woman very graphically on-screen.   Ford had all the accolades of a top-notch actor in Hollywood but that wasn’t enough, he wanted an Academy Award, and to do that you have to sign up for the exploits of liberalism.  Well, Ford never got his award and he has gone back to what made him great to begin with, but never to the same level—because he compromised himself.  Clint Eastwood went thought a similar spell with his movie Tightrope where he appeared as a sex crazed detective and was actually nude in the film.  Hollywood and liberalism in general is always looking to get people to compromise themselves from a lofty spot of admiration into a lowly figure no better than the collective goo of mass socialism.

I could actually write several books on this matter, but for brevity it is clear to me that liberalism is evil and cannot be reasoned with.  They cannot live in harmony with the rest of us and cannot have an equal stake in our American government.  I know as a very conservative person that I’ve bent over backwards a lot to attempt to respect other people’s views.  I’ve had a unique life full of rare opportunities and I’ve navigated them all unusually pure.  In my case I married early to a woman with an unusual commitment to purity and that kept me out of a lot of trouble.  But I credit myself with aligning myself with such a person to allow me to write all these articles now and to eventually conclude what the nature of liberalism truly is based on personal experience.  People like Harrison Ford can’t—because once you eat from the tree, you really lose your ability to criticize it—so it’s far easier to make liberal causes your new religion—like global warming is to many today—a scam designed to rectify the mistakes of their past.  If the God they shut out can be the new God that they walk on they fantasize that if they protect that God that their sins of the past might be forgiven.  But it can’t be.  Liberalism cannot live in the same world with the rest of us.  It doesn’t want to.  It needs chaos to grow, and emotional instability to sink roots into our lives, and it hates purity, justice, and resolution.  Liberalism only seeks destruction of intellect and human advancement, and is not conducive to the greater needs of an evolving species.  Therefore, I think it’s time that we declare it such and proceed forward on that foundation of thought.

The Miracle of Arabella Kushner: Donald Trump’s magnificant trip to Asia

I’ve read a lot of books on American history, and world history, everything from American presidents to princes, queens, nobles, emperors, swashbucklers, dictators and freedom fighters and there’s never been anyone quite like Donald Trump. Without any close second place contenders Trump has delivered America its best foreign policy positioning in the history of our young nation. Trump as an expert communicator, and a fabulous wheeler-dealer has had the Middle East enthusiastic about his visits and has brought people together like nobody ever has. In Europe, Trump managed to end the Paris Climate Accord while still putting smiles on the faces of everyone effected and actually left things better than worse. Trump lately has stood up to North Korea in a way that nobody has ever done keeping all-out war just a phone call away while calling the hostile regime derogatory names, then while on their doorstep in South Korea inviting them to the 21st Century with a very potent speech, or face extinction. That was before arriving in China who funds North Korea and receiving a hero’s welcome. Trump was fabulous in Japan, South Korea, then China before traveling to Vietnam to deliver some of the best foreign policy statements I’ve ever heard or thought about hearing from a sitting president. But that wasn’t the best of it. Being a slick salesman who is actually sincere about the product he’s selling, Trump unleashed his little 6-year-old granddaughter in China who speaks fluent Mandarin and he won the hearts of a billion people in just a few minutes. It was quite extraordinary. Here is just a bit from how it was covered in the media which really melted away the hearts of the world in just one day of goodwill.

While media coverage of Donald Trump’s meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping Thursday focused on trade and North Korea, it was the wide-eyed crooning of the US leader’s granddaughter that stole Chinese netizens’ hearts.

In a video that Trump showed Xi during their stroll through the historic Forbidden City Wednesday, his granddaughter, Arabella Kushner, greets “Grandpa Xi and Grandma Peng (Liyuan)” with several Mandarin ballads and a recitation of ancient Chinese poetry.

China’s Xinhua state news agency, which circulated the clip widely on social media, reported that Xi said the six-year-old girl’s Mandarin skills deserved an “A+”.

This is similar to trips where Melania spoke to Vladimir Putin in Russian, then to the French president Emmanuel Macron in French while visiting those countries—fluently. The women who surround President Trump are just fabulous, from the oldest to the youngest—and that says a lot about him as a person. Trump knows how to surround himself with great people whether it’s his fine running Trump International businesses or his family—anything with Trump on it is of fine quality and high expectation—and that is a standard he set as a person. He is presently doing the same for not only the American nation, but the world at large—anybody willing to listen. Trump has truly elevated the game of politics and he has been willing to show off his family and allow them to shine light into the world in ways that nobody else has—and behind it all, people understand that it is Trump who created the foundation for so much excellence.

Arabella Kushner is a magnificent over-achiever who is well beyond her years, and that comes from being in a family of high expectations. The miracle of her very fluent Mandarin is that her parents and her grandpa set a high bar before the little girl knew that it was impossible to achieve. The kid is poised to be a miracle of her own—and the Chinese people couldn’t help but see that. One thing about Asians in general is that they appreciate excellence and hard work, so the way to their hearts is to show great effort and respect. Trump in all his business dealings over the years understands people and what they need no matter where they are, so he brought his granddaughter along on this China trip to let her use all those skills she so diligently worked on and put her on a big stage to show her stuff. Trump understood what his granddaughter needed at this stage in her life, but what’s great about Trump is that he knows how to match that need with the needs of the world. How else to cut off funding to North Korea and flatten out a severe trade deficit but to melt the hearts of your opposition with a nice little girl and her dedication to their language—as a display of hard work and respect.

Anybody who looks at this Trump administration and can’t see anything good is just functioning from ideological evil. I mean Ivanka Trump isn’t exactly a far-right Republican and Trump isn’t ideological—there should be a lot of issues that Democrats could find that they’d like about him. Their only objective though is to keep him from winning anything so that they can capture some ideological seats in 2018 and 2020. But they are missing something that is truly wonderful, we are seeing a president that will be honored more graciously than Mt. Rushmore in the future living right in front of our faces. The legend is being written now and we are witness to it. In the future people will not remember the hateful New York Times hit pieces, or the withering Hollywood haters who have been trying to transfer their hate onto Trump for many personal failures they are suffering from. Or the Democrats who are so lost presently that they are using Donna Brazile as a way to show that they aren’t all corrupt—as they try to rebrand their failed party. Think about that, they are using a woman accused of giving Hillary Clinton debate questions as a representative of moral virtue?

The Democrats or the Republicans have nobody who could walk into China like a giant from the West and entertain a billion people with sheer charisma and the charm of a 6-year-old, then fly out to a former enemy, Vietnam and deliver one of the best foreign policy speeches in history like it was just one more hole on a golf course. Trump does all these things while working with the House and Senate by phone to get tax reform down by Christmas and he still has time to send condolence calls to victims of the mass shooting in Texas and manage FEMA as the hurricane relief of 2017 is still underway. Trump is AMAZING and everyone but the evil people who hate him see it. They only reason they don’t see the great things he is doing is because they choose not to.

The Arabella Kushner story was a good one when the world needed it. It started with Ivanka and her husband Jared setting a high bar for their child. From that came an optimism toward the future that every human being can respect. And when she was ready President Trump was able to give the little girl a big stage and a purpose for her newly acquired skill that melted the divide between capitalism and communism and put everyone on a stage of mutual respect. Then Trump gave a blistering speech about the benefits of free market capitalism and extended a bridge toward peace and fair trade practices that has never been offered truly in any other prior period before. What a wonderful opportunity that was pulled off flawlessly. If there was any other way to sell capitalism to the only communist country in the world and to dance across the fires that are behind the scenes of American, Chinese relations—Trump found the sweet spot, and he deserves a lot of credit for walking that fine line very well, even better than anyone could have ever expected.

Ann Becker and Mark Welch Work Together Down the Stretch: Lazy Lee Wong and many others fall short of a critical Tuesday election in West Chester

 

Now that we are coming down to the final days of the 2017 election for the West Chester Township Trustees it’s easy to see who really wants the job and who doesn’t—as well as who has the passion to do the job correctly, as opposed to those who only want the position for a social statement.   I was quite impressed by the efforts of Ann Becker and Mark Welch in the final days.  In the picture below you can see that they pulled together to go door to door on the last Saturday before the election which says a lot about them as candidates.  There are a lot of people running, but these two joined together to make a statement which reveals a lot about what kind of people they would be in office together.  It takes a lot of teamwork to pull together resources in the way that they have and in the world of politics, that is wonderful to see for a change.

We already know what we are getting with Mark Welch, he is the current president of the trustees and has done a great job.  Electing him only gets more of the same, which in West Chester is precisely what voters want.   However with Ann Becker, this is her first crack at the job, and she brings fresh ideas to that seat which would only expand its effectiveness.   I can’t imagine two better people running for a political office anywhere in the country than these two.  Ann isn’t a carbon copy of Mark Welch politically by any stretch of the imagination.  She brings her own flavor to the role, but as conservatives holding a very important office the team work they have shown during the campaign would naturally carry over into a good relationship working together to do the business of the people in West Chester.

That is the beauty of competition, and why we have competitive elections.  Most of the times the candidates put out a bunch of campaign signs and that’s it— those with the most money tend to get the name recognition because people generally don’t know who else to vote for but the name they saw on the side of the road at a traffic light.  They figure that if the candidate has enough money to put out a bunch of yard signs, that someone must like that candidate, so that is typically who they vote for.  But this year there are so many candidates with so many yard signs that they are all running together in the mind of the political novice, which most people are.  Few people pay much attention to-day to-day politics and the names behind them.  They just want the system to work like the gas gauge in their car.

Competition especially in this current election race has really separated the truly serious candidates from those who just want the social status of being elected.  That’s precisely what we have seen from Joan Powell the ex-school board candidate from Lakota.  In that position she was a big spender and had a reputation for caving into the union demands during teacher contracts which she paid for with tax increases against the public.  In the past she has supported cityhood for West Chester so she is one of those big government types—a person who thinks of herself as a Republican, but she’s more of a John Kasich Republican—a liberal who puts an “R” next to their name so they can get elected in a conservative county.  If Joan were running for the same type of office just ten miles south of her West Chester home she’d be just another Democrat that has virtually destroyed the economic viability of Hamilton County.   Watching her in some of the debates during this campaign season I would have thought that Joan was more savvy than what she showed, but she really fizzled out down the stretch.  She put out a few signs, but showed no energy in the days leading up to the election on Tuesday and even though I don’t support her, her presence in this competitive election was really flat.  Lucky for us all that we did have a lot of candidates to pick from because it has really exposed people like Joan for wanting the job more for a social statement in their personal careers than as a sincere person who really just wants to do a good job for the West Chester community.

Speaking of flat, Lee Wong is a current trustee and aside from a few signs has made very little effort to defend his seat.  One thing about Lee that is obvious to everyone, he’s just lazy.  He’s lazy as a trustee functioning from the politics of yesteryear where a trustee shows up for a few parades and expects free food when he goes out for lunch.  He relies mostly on his time served as a veteran to cover for his socialist tendencies as a trustee.   As an incumbent there is a lot of dirt on Lee that is floating around out there—a lot of smoke with some fire to feed it—you don’t see Lee out with his wife much.   Based on the smoke the fire that produces it says that Lee has issues with people—particularly females.  But that isn’t the most telling example of why he’s a bad candidate—he’s just a lazy person.  By nature, he doesn’t like hard work and it shows in the way he has been a trustee and in this competitive race, he’s far down the ladder as far as effort.  If people didn’t know better, they’d never know that he was running for re-election.

Lynda O’Conner is another one who put out a few signs next to Mark’s along the side of the road, but she hasn’t been out much to sell her candidacy.  In the debate that really counted, the West Chester Tea Party Forum, Lynda was a no-show, instead she sent a note.  As a school board member at Lakota she obviously thought that the run for trustee would be a lot easier than it turned out to be, so her effort matched that miscalculation.  I have supported Lynda as a school board member before, and she isn’t the worst in the world, but as trustee for the high-powered West Chester economy, she showed down the stretch that she just didn’t have the ambition to really make a name for herself.   Putting a few signs out in this election just wasn’t enough to show what kind of candidate she was, and she missed a lot of opportunities to make her mark yielding to Ann Becker when things counted most.  Lynda starting off was probably the best option but Ann clearly outworked Lynda by a lot.

That brings us to Jullian Kelley who has been a well-known socialite within the Republican Party of Butler County for a long time.  She has worked hard because she put her name out there and a considerable budget for signs—and she doesn’t want to lose.  In a typical election Jullian would likely win a seat just because of her name recognition, but in this competitive climate—especially during the West Chester Tea Party debate she has shown that she didn’t know much about the topics and was more like a room mom in school making treats for the kids in class.   Her heart was there, but her intellect just wasn’t prepared and she would likely be no better prepared for an average day at the office as a trustee than Lazy Lee Wong has been.  Getting elected into one of these positions is about more than just showing up and displaying that you can put out signs.  You have to actually know things, and do things.  On that account, Jullian is clearly lacking in competency.  Good intentions aren’t enough this time.

So on Tuesday November 7, 2017 make  sure to vote for Ann Becker and Mark Welch and reward them for a well run cooperative campaign.  Their partnership would only be good for West Chester.  As trustees it takes a lot of cooperation to manage a vast township like West Chester, which has enough people in it to be considered a city, but needs to stay small enough to maintain its competitive edge over Cincinnati to the south and Dayton to the north.  West Chester is the crown jewel of the I-75 corridor between two of Ohio’s best known cities, and it is the preferred destination for business and people of ambition who want to build a good life for themselves in a top 100 community in all of the United States.  It takes work and Ann and Mark have shown that they are willing to do the work, and to do it together—and those are the first foundations of success.  Before they can bring that success to the township however you have to vote for them, so be sure to do so.  You won’t regret it!

Vote for Ernest Gause on November 7th 2017: Protecting a cash surplus at Lakota from the forces of chaos

 

If you ever wanted to see a guy who has his act together running for a school board position it’s Ernest Gause.  Watching this situation at Lakota schools in Southern Ohio for many years now and fighting many levies to keep taxes down, I’ve never witnessed a better person for a school board position than Ernest.  To get an idea of how on top of things he is just have a look at his website, specifically his press release section shown below.  In it Ernest breaks down the cash situation at Lakota schools and shows just where we are in 2017 to managing the Lakota school system for the next decade.  To do the job right, good school board members like Ernest Gause need to be in place to safely steer the district into the correct direction.  Gause is a school board candidate offering that not only wants to avoid future school levies, but he wants to have a replacement strategy which essentially means working within the budget parameters and decreasing the budget need over time—which has been unheard of by any school district anywhere.  And he plans to do all this by raising the expectations of Lakota as well through performance standards.

Essentially here’s the situation, Lakota has cash on hand through 2026 to avoid a school levy.  However the current school board members are reluctant to commit to that because they still spend more than they take in so the positive elements of their cash surpluses will eventually catch up to them.  Lakota has that cash surplus because they pushed for a levy they didn’t need in 2013 when they violated the deal they made with me to keep a levy off the ballot for two years after the levy defeat of 2012.  The school board at the time pushed for a levy all in the name of school security, but they really didn’t need it because of declining enrollment in our aging community, so they unnecessarily increased our property taxes into this abundance situation that we have now.  Unlike past school board candidates, Earnest actually has a plan to avoid school levies in the future but taking our current surplus and reducing the tax footprint that Lakota imposes on future development.   Here are more specifics off his website that articulate his position:

As a community, we need to ask the question of why we need levies and what we can do as a community to ensure the school get what it need, our children are educated and the community (tax payers) get a return on our investment.

The answer is simple; we need transparency and full disclosure for every dollar spent.

There need to be the following:

  1. If there is going to be more busing, then which schools and how much.
  2. If there is going to be more technology, then which school and how much.
  3. If there is going to be small classes, more teachers and more resources, then which schools and how much.

Within Lakota there needs to be more transparency, more openness and better reporting to the community.

Lakota’s current treasurer Jenni Logan has done a good job with the budget, but I remember when they put her up front in 2012 to profess the fiscal cliff that Lakota was headed for justifying the tax increase the board wanted at the time.  Many who know how money works told Lakota then that if they could control their costs, largely their payroll, they wouldn’t need any more money—but they didn’t listen so presently they have on hand cash until 2020 where deficit spending is projected to begin, according to this article shown at the link below.   That’s the point where the step increases start taking over from where the board has been able in the past to hold them down due to all the public pressure.  The teacher’s union has had to keep a low profile over the last half decade namely because the public sentiment was not with them, and it will continue not to be.  That makes putting good management on the school board that is smarter than the negotiators for the union a priority so that deficit spending can be avoided.  Earnest is jus t that type of manager that we need on the school board for the next decade, to keep the cash managed while raising the expectations for the district.

I think Todd Parnell is a decent board member, but if Earnest were added to the Lakota school board a trend of conservativism would finally emerge that could pave the way for a solid four vote majority by the next election term where Julie Schafer’s term would expire.   It takes time to build the right team because good candidates are hard to find.  In the case of Earnest I am very attracted to his lean manufacturing background and think the best way to keep their costs down at Lakota is by applying the same methods that are expected in business on the current teacher’s union.  One way that the labor unions for the automotive industry had to be brought into the modern age of thinking was to apply lean standards to them so that the unions couldn’t use the chaos of many different job classifications to justify outlandish wage expectations driving up the cost of the product.  Well, in this case the product is the education of children and I think the urgency of a proper approach is that much more important.  So obviously, we want good managers in place to handle the vast amounts of money that we send to Lakota and to keep them out of our pocket books in the years to come while giving kids good foundational skills they can apply for the rest of their lives through their education.  There is no reason that Lakota couldn’t be a trend setter and still drive down their payroll.  But we can’t get there unless we try something different, and Ernest Gause is a tremendous step in that direction.  So when you have to vote on Tuesday, make sure you pull the lever for that very good person on November 7th 2017
