Public Education is the Primary Cause of School Shootings: Aligning responsiblity with the desires of the human race

Think about what we are dealing with here, a kid who was nineteen years of age who had just shot up a bunch of his former classmates at a south Florida public school, visited a restaurant at a local Wal-Mart, then a McDonald’s calmly trying to get away from the crime. Luckily, he was arrested before he had a chance to do more damage. He was able to inflict so much carnage and fear without a single cop to confront him, not even the armed designated protector who was supposed to be protecting the school he just assaulted. That person was nowhere to be found. And the first, and really only thing liberals want to talk about is gun control instead of the real root cause of the problem which they are largely a major part of helping to create. The little 5’ 7” Nikolas Cruz one year suspended from that same school Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida had been rejected from the education system that assumed it could do everything for kids such as this. In a lot of ways, Cruz is the perfect example of what public schools assume they can do, but always fail, and that is to be substitutes for parental guidance. Here was a kid who had lost both of his known parents bringing a lot of trouble to Cruz’s young mind and when he needed the school most, they expelled him sending him into the world intellectually defenseless. The kid lived in a very diverse community yet he became an unapologetic racist only to fume in anger to such a boiling point that he made a conscious decision to shoot up the same school that had caused him so much pain and liberals want to take away guns so that kids such as this don’t have that option to discharge their anger. Liberals are so stupid and emotionally driven that they just don’t comprehend that it was they who created the personality of Nikolas Cruz in the first place and that guns or not, people are going to get hurt when they are forced to interact with the failures of their public education system.

I wasn’t happy at all with what I saw in the moments after the shooting, which was a bunch of kids and teachers hiding in every corner of the building like sheep waiting to be slaughtered. Then the police storming the building like petrified authoritarians telling all these compliant little public education products to put away their cell phones and to march single file out into the parking lot where they would be frisked like criminals and embarrassed beyond reason. In the aftermath many of those same students would go on news programs and talk about their experience with such great emotion that the networks soaked up the good television that the tragedy provoked in their viewership. There was lots of talk about loses, and broken hearts, and the terror of the moment—but nobody did anything to talk about the primary problem of these liberal institutions that had created the mess in the first place—a system that produces so many compliant kiss ass kids that use peer pressure to instigate behavioral changes, and when a certain percentage of their population which they call “loners” refuse to comply and fall through the cracks they have no answer for what they’ve sent out into the world to be a menace to us all. They simply blame the guns, not the minds they ruined in the process.

Like many people watching the drama unfold on television my wife and I talked about what we were seeing. My wife suggested that more cops be put into the schools. That’s when I reminded her of some of the cops that were in our school when we were growing up. Cops aren’t the answer. One of the cops that was assigned to our school did everything he could to try to sleep with my wife when she was just a young freshman, and of course she wasn’t the only one. Cops as much as we like to portray them as instruments of fearless justice are just people like any of us. The police academies aren’t putting out great warriors committed to justice at any price filled with valor and a love of goodness—most of the time they are over reactive drama queens looking for attention and love in all the wrong places. If you put more cops in schools where the authority figure of such seasoned adults is mixing with the vulnerability of students taught to be compliant little boot lickers, there will be a lot of abuse of authority and sex going on that nobody wants to see. I’d say that its human nature especially for young females to be easily seduced by the cops in the halls of their schools who have guns and power to meet with them privately for sex. And females in such roles as cops are going to enjoy their ability to seduce the star football players and campus studs over their rivals the other young girls because of her authority. It doesn’t take much when you put males and females together—especially when one is give great power over another to see the blooms of sex occurring creating another kind of abuse beyond the potential violence of gunfire. While it may make everyone feel better to shift the responsibility of action, and valor under fire to some third-party to protect everyone, ultimately it is just a lack of courage that we are dealing with that just exacerbates the situation of protection because such a society only breeds more Nikolas Cruz types.

The cause of school shootings or any situation where an individual desire to lash out at a mass collection of people is a lack of personal valor and responsibility in our society which emerges right out of our public education society. Our schools are such failures that they are at the center of all these problems, including the Las Vegas shooting—the slow reaction to danger, the assumption that authorities have everything under control, the desire to assemble in mass collections of people for safety, entertainment and intellectual stimulation through group appeal. The failures are endless and actually do lead to little bits of insanity. Some of that insanity is like the kid from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School who was auditioning to be the next great liberal politicians from South Florida—an irritating young person who clearly used the tragedy to launch more claims of gun control but really found himself seduced by the cameras and desperation of his classmates and adults around him to launch a public campaign that will likely last his entire life. Others are the kids like Cruz who haven’t yet shot up a school, but have been thinking about it. The police who suddenly had something to do and justify their large payrolls, the mothers who suddenly had something tangible to fear crying on television not because they were really sad about the event, but because it gave them a platform to unload all their personal insecurities. There was plenty of fault to go around as to why some loser like the assassin Cruz, the employee at a local Dollar Store, went on a rampage to kill people for all the failures in his own life. Gun control doesn’t begin to solve the problem—it simply makes people who are already desperately screwed up feel good for a short while as they avoid the real failure—our public education system and the type of people it produces into adulthood—messes of existence that are never prepared for action when it’s needed, whether that action is stopping a potential terrorist, or buying milk at the local grocery.

Because of the constant coverage on all the networks of this shooting I turned off the news and played my PlayStation 4 for a while, games like Battlefront, and Doom, and several other games that involve lots of guns shooting bad guys. Before that I was looking at paintball supplies because it is getting warmer and I was thinking of getting some equipment to shoot at other people on the many courses in my area that provide that experience. Before that I stopped by Premier Shooting in West Chester where 96 Rock was hosting a promotional activity at the gun range in the lobby. I was there to pick up some ammunition for my .500 magnum—because I was getting low. As I was playing the shooters on my home video game counsel I was thinking about the millions of kids who were also playing online with me, and wondering what it was about having the ability to shoot at other people in a playful way that was so appealing to so many people. I mean we could all chose to play a number of games, golf, football, bowling, anything. But the most popular games are the shooters—why? That’s because we all have a little warrior left in us from our primal beginnings and the ability to fight is still something we value as a species. Liberals have tried to educate that out of us, but they have failed, and in the cases of Nikolas Cruz they failed spectacularly. We live in a society where Disney sells Star Wars figures at Wal-Mart complete with guns for those figures to play fight with. If the toys didn’t have guns, nobody would buy them. We love guns in our society—the romance of using them to defend goodness from the clutches of villainy is a strong impulse to action. And the solution to our present problem is not to edit guns from our life, but to come to terms with them for the betterment of the human race—so that repressed feelings of lacking control do not cause us to run from one danger to another—such as in the perverted cop, or the over dramatized FBI agent who lets kids like Cruz fall through the cracks because they are too busy with interoffice affairs to do their jobs properly, or the teachers who want to establish a society of weaklings depended on mother government for the rest of their lives—the source of our trouble is our education system and how it aligns with our true desires as people. And until we deal with all that, there isn’t anything we can do legislatively to solve this problem of violence. The only solution is to meet it head on with more powerful guns in the hands of more competent people.

How to Stop Mass School Shootings: More guns not less will help correct the behavioral failure that is increasing in our youth

The shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida won’t be the last, and Nikolas Cruz the former student there will have followers to his antics that will lead to more death and destruction. And there isn’t a single law or regulation that can prevent it—the problem is one of ethical behavior, not legal compliance. So long as the human mind desires such things as the destruction of others, violence is always a threat and the only way to be equal in such a world is with a well-armed society. Considering the level of corruption, we have witnessed regarding the FBI over the last couple of years, more cops, more military, and more government will do nothing to stop the desire of kids falling through the cracks from wanting to inflict harm on others through mass violence. As I’ve been saying for a long time now, we are on a social trajectory that will only get worse. Kids these days aren’t going home from school and watching the Andy Griffith Show, as might have happened thirty years ago. The political left has infected our education institutions with their mind tampering utopian ideas that have had the opposite result, and now failure is everywhere. We’ll be cleaning up the mess for at least the next century. That really leaves us with one choice, an expansion of guns personally carried by good, people—teachers, administrators, and parents so that schools are no longer soft target zones ripe for the fulfilment fantasies of our much distraught youth.

It is stunning to hear so many people soaked in the images of these tragic events to demand that something must be done—as if some government agency out there might have an answer. The only two things that can save our society from the brink it is currently resting on is greater intelligence among our people and more personal defense so that when a kid like Nikolas Cruz does snap—which they are prone to do given our depleted moral compass these days, someone can shoot them dead on the spot before they have time to roam the hallways of defenseless public schools essentially shooting fish in a barrel. The death penalty, or more scrutiny of gun legislation will not stop the emergence of people like Nikolas Cruz. I’m sure we’ll learn all the reasons this kid was troubled, and what we will learn is that he turned out not to be a processed piece of meat churned from the local public-school intent to bring about Sir Thomas Moore’s Utopia—he was rejected from that system and he was wrathful about it. That utopia doesn’t exist, and it never will. Schools should never be a gun free zone because we are supposed to be teaching kids to live in the world, and the world can be a violent place. Guns are a part of modern life, millions of adults that these kids are going to deal with are concealed carry holders, so guns are going to be there in American society. The fault of public schools is that they have taken a stance against such American traits, and that has put them at odds with reality when losers like Nikolas Cruz emerge to wreak havoc among the innocent.

Many pondered how a young person like Cruz with their whole life out in front of them could come to a school armed the way he did and consciously set off smoke alarms to create more soft targets created in the panic, or to toss smoke bombs around the halls to help the effect of an apocalypse to satisfy the twisted fantasy that emerges from the mind of the discontent and intellectually limited. But likely they haven’t gotten to know very many 19-year old’s these days—kids coming from broken homes with family chaos derived straight from our soup operas of entertainment. They haven’t payed attention to the music these kids listen to or watched the video games they play. These kids aren’t growing up with even a basic foundation of religion to give them the most fundamental values so what do they have—a sense of self-entitlement and no consequence taught to them in public schools which disconnects behavior from reality. I’ve been saying for a while that we will see more of this behavior, not less. A lot of people think about doing the kinds of things that Nikolas Cruz did. The difference is that most people don’t act on the fantasy. A certain percentage of our population will however, so the problem to deal with is why such a fantasy is in the minds of people to begin with.

We live in the age where at least two generations of youth have been taught that the world should not judge them. What is it they say, “don’t judge.” Well, that runs counter to the very basic instincts that human beings have. Every time a young girl turns down someone a date they are judging the premise of the proposal. Maybe the guy is too ugly, too creepy, or maybe he just smells bad. It used to be if a guy wanted to date a cute girl he might spiffy up his appearance and come back to her again with a second, a third, or a fourth try, and in that manner, society improved because for the young man to have the ability to mate with the girl, she made him do things to improve his social stature. But these days the young girl is not supposed to judge. Heck she is even taught that if she wants to be a boy, she can be—and vice versa. Sex is something that people just do, it’s not something to work for, the value of it has been completely eradicated from our society. Sex is no longer leverage for young females to inspire improvement among the males—these days its “bros before hoes,” and every woman is a potential hoe in hip hop culture. If young people want to do anything and be anything at any give time, they have been taught in public school that they can and that the world won’t judge them. Yet the world does judge, it judges a lot—and that is never going to change. Our mistake as a society is that we let this go on for far too long and it will take at least a century to correct it. In the meantime, we need to carry more guns and to shoot the failures as they trespass upon our freedoms and personal sanctity to satisfy their distorted fantasies provided to them by a portion of our society that has failed their social experiment.

There is a morality in guns that is missing from our present society, a code of conduct that extends beyond the limits of governmental power. American society is not a lover of more institutionalism—so answers along those lines just won’t get the job done. If some kid like Nikolas Cruz starts down some hallway in a gun free zone like a public school and shows intent—meaning he shows an aggressive posture even if the gun he has is just a water pistol, then he should be shot dead on the spot without further inquiry, and the mops should be brought out to clean up the blood, the cops called to file the paperwork, and everyone in the school needs to get back to work. If that is the behavioral characteristic that we adopt as a policy, then we will begin to see an end to these school shootings and the mass acts of terror that we’ve seen in places like Las Vegas. We must empower ourselves to stop this violence and the behavior which causes it, which means we must judge more, we must carry deadlier personal weapons to protect our environment as first responders to aggression, and we must not prosecute people for getting it wrong. If we have a teacher carrying a gun in school and he accidentally shoots someone who is acting like a terrorist using toy guns and masks to hide their features, then we need to give them a warning and put them back to work without further prosecution. Only these types of actions will prevent further deterioration of our social fabric, and believe me, there isn’t much time. Our public schools are putting out a lot of loser kids like Nikolas Cruz. The opportunity for more occurrences is only increasing by the day, literally.

Gun Grabber Leland Yee Going to Jail over Weapons Trafficking: Why we can’t trust government but down the barrel of a potential gun

 

On Monday June 20th 2016 a host of senate democrats attempted to use the Orlando shooting to pressure GOP leadership into gun control measures on Capital Hill.  Of course, thankfully because of the Republican majority and the powerful NRA their four proposals are going nowhere.  But they’ll keep trying just like their buddy Leland Yee has for years out in California.  The potential attempt had me fueled into a fired up fissure on Saturday when my friend Matt Clark brought up the topic of gun control up on his WAAM radio show.  I had to call at the 30 minute mark and join the vigorous conversation Matt was hosting.

During the call I brought up the news story shown below, where liberal Leland Yee—a gun control champion in California was busted for trafficking in “foreign firearms” on the black market.  Go ahead, read the article for yourself below from The Washington Post:

On the surface, the story of Leland Yee looks like a precipitous fall from grace.

The 67-year-old had risen steadily in the ranks of Bay Area politics since the late 80s, when he was elected to the San Francisco School Board. He then went on to sit on the city’s Board of Supervisors and in the state Assembly. The latter role saw him become the first Asian American speaker pro tem in 2004, making him the second-highest ranking Democrat in the California assembly at the time.

From 2006 onwards, Yee served as a state senator and was plotting a secretary of state campaign when his political visions were curtailed by a federal indictment in March 2014.

The arrest swept Yee and his associate Keith Jackson, 51, up in charges alongside some of the city’s most notorious characters, notable among them Chinatown gangster Raymond “Shrimp Boy” Chow.

Yee also discussed buying weapons overseas and bringing them to the U.S. with two associates and an undercover agent. He accepted $6,800 and a list of arms for purchase in the Philippines.

The maneuvers were not only illegal, but also in stark contrast to what he had long purported to stand for.

Yee told CBS two years before he was arrested: “It is extremely important that individuals in the state of California do not own assault weapons. I mean that is just so crystal clear — there is no debate, no discussion.”

As a legislator, Yee supported strict gun control laws and was named to the Brady Campaign’s Gun Violence Prevention Honor Roll.

The calamitous epilogue to Yee’s career, then, seems to be an abrupt about-face. During his campaigns, Yee had styled himself as an outsider removed from the corruption that plagued San Francisco governments past.

“My parents didn’t encourage me to go into politics at all,” he told Hyphen magazine in 2011. “There was a stereotype in the Chinese community that sees politics with suspicion. Politicians aren’t honorable, they’re corrupt and unsavory.”

Some members of the public have expressed disappointment over his conviction, but many more think the five-year sentence is fair (if not too light) for someone who has admitted to abusing his position.

Let me just say this much, there are no circumstances where more government equates to more prosperity.  By nature, human beings fail when they have too much power and Leland Yee is a fine example of the same type of corruption we are learning about in Brazil, Venezuela and everywhere that socialism is the political philosophy of the masses.  America must have guns—unlimited guns—so that our society can have the means to keep government from becoming all-powerful and ultimately following in the footsteps of liberals like Leland Yee.  Every gun grabbing politician speaking to federal representatives in the wake of the Orlando massacre are potential Leland Yees.  Many of them may be well-intentioned people, but all of them have the potential to become like Yee.  What makes America different is that we do have guns, and we can if there is no other option; use them to protect ourselves from an out-of-control government.  And by the sound of things now, it would seem that we are almost out of other options.

Robert Lewis Dear Apparently Identified as a Woman: What the news won’t tell you about Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood shooting

 

Guess what, Obama, MSNBC, CNN, Hillary Clinton and all the rest of the knuckle dragging losers of progressive politics? They thought they finally had a white middle-aged Republican man who committed a terrorist act—so that they could propose more gun control. Sadly for them, the shooter—Robert Lewis Dear—the lunatic who shot up a Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood clinic on November 27th 2015 appears to be a cross-gender loving pervert who shared much more with Obama’s LBGT community than the NRA loving American traditionalists. According to early reports from The Gateway Pundit shown below indicate Robert Lewis Dear identified as a woman, not as the man that he is. Bet you won’t hear that on the news networks. Sounds like he had some issues…………………………….have a look for yourself. Dear sounds like a cast member of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. That would explain his appearance.

Dear also lists his party as UAF.

Colorado Voters Info has Dear listed as a woman.

The Heavy reported has more on Robert Lewis Dear from Hartsel, Colorado:

Robert Lewis Dear, the suspected gunman, is from Hartsel, Colorado. According to KDVR-TV, he was previously a resident of North Carolina and is originally from South Carolina.

Dear’s age has been reported to as both 57 and 59, but public records indicate that he is 57. His family is from South Carolina, according to public records and his father’s obituary.

According to court records, Dear has an arrest record in both North and South Carolina. He has been convicted of several traffic offenses, but has been arrested several times on more serious charges.

His convictions include seat belt violations, driver’s license violations, operating a vehicle in an unsafe mechanical condition and driving a non-registered vehicle.

Dear was charged in Colleton, South Carolina, with two counts of cruelty to animals in 2002, but was found not guilty in a bench trial.

He was also charged in 2002 in Colleton with charges of “peeping Tom” and eavesdropping. Those charges were dismissed.

This is just further proof that liberals make most of the problems in our society. They feed anger toward Planned Parenthood with immoral justifications then they create a loose society full of perverts, peeping Toms, and losers who are men who think they are women and women who want to be men. USA Today almost had an orgasm when they saw the pictures of the suspect, but quickly put on the brakes once the stories of this idiot became clear. They reported that the motive was unclear so the hard reporting will probably die now that Robert Lewis Dear has turned out to be a Bruce Jenner clone—a woman in a man’s body. Perhaps Dear was jealous that real woman were able to get abortions for casual sex while he was not able to commit such a vile crime—so he went on a shooting spree. That conclusion is just as valid as Obama’s early comments regarding the push to use gun control as a way to keep more idiots like this loser free to peek in our windows all in the name of a more “progressive” society of morally loose punks and general depraved nut cases. Gun control laws obviously didn’t work with this confused person. Robert Lewis Dear was a Obama kind of guy—a bewildered mess who didn’t know what he was. And when it got to be too much of a mess in his head, he went on a shooting spree, just like the radical Muslims, and dumb kids taught in public schools who take out their frustrations through violence in public places. All the mass shootings over these last few years embody one of those character traits and all of them are creations of liberalized educations and progressive society. Add Robert Lewis Dear to the list.

Sorry liberals, you won’t find many people in the NRA who fit the mental description of Robert Lewis Dear.   They at least typically know what sex they are and aren’t the type of people who peek through windows at unsuspecting victims. NRA members have guns to protect themselves from people like Robert Lewis Dear. Again, if there were more armed people within the Planned Parent Hood clinic, they could have ended the standoff a lot sooner than they did, and more people might be alive. After all, what are they protecting—they are already agents of death? At least if they were armed they may have been able to save a few lives instead of exclusively being a place that takes them.

Oh, and what is the UAF?  I’m glad you asked, it’s a front group to the Socialist Workers Party.  Defiantly not a Republican group.  It is possible that this voter registration was doctored but at this early stage, probably not.  Take a picture.  It will last longer.

End of The Drudge Report: A calm before the next American Civil War

Well, the full court press by progressives is on and they have shown their cards. In the wake of another round of gun violence it is obvious what the strategy is. Matt Drudge gave a rare interview with Alex Jones predicting the end of his famous internet news site The Drudge Report because of something a Supreme Court Justice said to him. The next Civil War is well at hand—because of progressive intrusions, and while there is still civility the mechanisms for which they control is attempting to shape the battle ground. They want to control the media in all aspects so they can cut the lines of communication between free people. They want to disarm the public so that there is little resistance to their incursion. And they are selling all this effort with a perceived professionalism that is rather dangerous. I agree with Wayne LaPierre, the head of the National Rifle Association (NRA), when he famously claimed that “the only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is with a good guy with a gun.” There are a lot of bad guys out there, at all levels of the world. Some are thugs in the streets looking to steal from those who work; others just want to terrorize to satisfy their own infantile egos. Low level terrorists work through radical groups, or are individuals crazed with hate. More sophisticated terrorists hide their maliciousness behind orthodox behavior and reside within the world’s governments. And it is they who speak through the work of publications like The Nation which said the following in reaction to Wayne LaPierre’s gunslinger comments about private armament.

The Nation spoke to several people who do—combat veterans and former law enforcement officers—and who believe that the NRA’s heroic gunslinger mythology is a dangerous fantasy that bears little resemblance to reality. Stephen Benson knows what it’s like when bullets start flying. The former Navy SEAL saw extensive combat during his three tours in Vietnam. Later, while recovering from the wounds that earned him his third Purple Heart, he also trained elite troops at the Naval Special Warfare Center in Coronado, California. “In chaotic situations, the first thing you know is that the shit has hit the fan and you don’t know where the fan is,” says Benson. “And unless it’s constantly drilled into you, it’s very hard to maintain discipline in those situations. You’re immediately hit with a massive thump of adrenaline. Your mouth begins to taste like copper. You can hear the blood moving in your system. You can even experience a kind of time-warp. And the problem with that kind of state is that conscious thought shuts down because you’ve been taken over by your nervous system, and your nervous system is saying, ‘holy shit, things just got really bad.’”

As a connected issue to all the above progressives are looking toward Australia as a solution to the gun control avocation they support most. In Australia essentially the government bought back guns from the public, kind of like the cash for clunkers program seen in the United States a few years ago. The big difference is that if people refused to participate, they were threatened with jail. The Australian 1996 National Agreement on Firearms was not a benign set of commonsense gun-control rules: It was a gun-confiscation program rushed through the Australian parliament just twelve days after a 28-year-old man killed 35 people with a semi-automatic rifle in the Tasmanian city of Port Arthur. The Council of Foreign relations summarizes the Aussie measure nicely: The National Agreement on Firearms all but prohibited automatic and semiautomatic assault rifles, stiffened licensing and ownership rules, and instituted a temporary gun buyback program that took some 650,000 assault weapons (about one-sixth of the national stock) out of public circulation. Among other things, the law also required licensees to demonstrate a “genuine need” for a particular type of gun and take a firearm safety course. The council’s laudatory section on Australian gun-control policy concludes that “many [read: gun-control activists] suggest the policy response in the wake of Port Arthur could serve as a model for the United States.”

So there you can see dear reader how the collective consciousness of mass progressives—globally induced is establishing its attack run on American liberty. First, they intend to shut down free speech by strong individual advocates, like Drudge. Next they wish to continue to establish trust in a central authority, like public school teachers, and police run by international trade unions philosophically committed to socialism. Then they plan to disarm society under the guise of safety. Their only opposition is in building up public momentum against their individual enemies with public sentiment. Now that you know that much, go back and listen to the Drudge interview once again and listen carefully. The guy has been at the top of his game for two decades and knows most of the major media personalities in the United States on all sides of the political spectrum. He’s not a conspiracy wack job. He’s a very real and conscientious person.

As to the assertion that NRA gunslingers are no match for the well-seasoned combat veteran let me put that one to rest. Without question there are many brave people who serve in the armed forces—but to me that is part of the problem of mass collectivism. They are effectively employees of the government and if the government goes bad, they become the enemy against liberty—so there must be checks against their power with individual—and equal ability. But let’s be clear about something, and I know I’m not the only one out there—but under strenuous situations I trust myself far more than any police or military officer to remain cool under fire. If I were not a married man, I would be a contractor such as what works around the world outside of the military services, so professional soldiers don’t impress me. And most cops are such a panicky lot that they make fools of themselves all too often during traffic stops and late night run-ins with drunks at bars. CLICK FOR AN EXAMPLE IN MY TOWN. I certainly don’t want police officers and military personnel to have supreme command over my life and property. No disrespect to them, but they need checks and balances from a civilian presence who is better armed in most cases to keep them honest.

I’ve been shot at, been under severe threat, had guns pointed at me and been under every kind of danger imaginable and I don’t rattle. An explosion could go off right next to me and I’d be under complete control. I can control my adrenaline, and I actually thrive when the “shit hits the fan.” I enjoy those moments and I purposely look for reasons to be in such circumstances. There are many Americans like me just as there were people like that in Australia—people like Rod Ansell who was the inspiration for the movie character Crocodile Dundee.   Ansell was shot dead in a gun battle with police in 1999 two years into the gun ban when authorities came to the outback master’s remote home—blocked off the road and fought it out with the old hold-out. There are a lot of people like Ansell in the world, and everyone is much safer with them armed and free.

Make no mistake about it. The intentions from villains hiding behind certified law are lurking for excuses to unleash their ideology upon everything they see standing in their path. If they could, and will likely attempt by virtual of law, is to make an outlaw out of Matt Drudge, just as they did Rod Ansell. When Ansell was killed by multiple gunshot wounds the authorities excused the effort through the rationalization of insanity—that Rod and his 26-year-old girlfriend were hyperactive drug addicts obsessed with an attempt by the Freemasons to take over the world. Since this new breed of criminal has taken off the masks they used to rob banks with, becoming lawyers and law makers instead, they create now the means for looting by legal means—so they can make outlaws of Ansell, Drudge, and anyone else with the signature of a pen instead of the point of the gun—because when all the guns are collected, they’ll still have them—then it will be too late. So you better know what kind of game you are playing and who is moving the pieces and not white-wash the reality with any illusions. We have a Civil War on our hands—the shots just haven’t been fired yet. But they will be—and when that happens, make sure you are a card-carrying member of Second Call Defense so you can stay out of jail while the legal system still works. There will come a time when it won’t, but until then protect yourself. Because nobody else will.   At that point those public sector security types will point their guns in your direction, just as they did at Rod Ansell in Australia. That is what Obama and his progressive friends are trying to create in the United States. The real fight is one of the mass collectivism against the individual—everywhere in the world. And in a world where collectivists make all the rules—it is the truly insane mandated by the weakest links of their order for which they define the rationality of people like Rod Ansell—which is why Matt Drudge is one of the biggest targets on the internet. First it will be people like him—then it will be everyone else.

The Treasures of Brownells: A gift to the American shooter

Even though I felt at the time that I had lived five lifetimes before I ever hit 20 years of age and had some college under my belt along with two yeas of gunsmithing school, that a fresh-faced kid from Southern Ohio was going to struggle financially under that chosen profession.  Customers after all like seasoned veterans for that kind of work and I hadn’t been around the block much in the shooting world—not officially anyway.  So as a young gunsmith in a little shed behind our home, I was getting work—but it wasn’t the type of high-priced work I’d need to care for a growing family while keeping my wife home so that she could care properly for our children.  The other issue was that clients who would give me a shot as such a young face were the type of people who were in trouble with the law and did not want the older, and orthodox Federal Firearms License holders to handle their needs.  I couldn’t bring those types of people around the house with a one and two-year old children running around.  The other issue was that I needed more experience on the craftsmanship end.  So I took my acquired skills learned through gunsmithing and took professional jobs that required frequent measurements of .001 of an inch reading micrometers and calipers so that I’d develop all the hand skills of the gunsmithing trade.  Along the way I’d write books, get more involved with bullwhip work and spend another five lifetimes over the next twenty-five years getting lots, and lots of experience using many of the gunsmithing skills I had to do work for various companies.  Whereas I made the money to take care of my family in lots of unusual ways my love of gunsmithing never really went away. And one of the great memories from my past during the early days of my marriage to my wife before we started a family was the constant books and catalogues from Brownells which populated our home with huge stacks of shooting literature.

My love for America was shaped during my youth by a gradual introduction to Brownells through my gunsmithing school and our frequent trips to Gatlinburg, Tennessee.  I loved the common sense of rural Americans who found the popular Smoky Mountain resort town such a destination of choosing.  And under that culture was a love of guns, and the people at Brownells even more than the NRA loved the business side of firearms to a point that I found it easy to connect to.  They are such a great organization who unselfishly taught so many neat tricks that they preserved in a way I thought greatly beneficial an aspect of American life that I could see vanishing before my eyes.  Only in the gun circles of companies like Brownells was the true nature of American life being preserved in the way the Constitution always intended.  The videos shown here are just a small example of how Brownells approach the business as they teach how to clean and repair a basic single action revolver.  They additionally break down the care of AR-15s and SIGs with the same patient instruction and they do a lot of this for free.  Also on their website is a section that offers schematics for just about every gun in production so that if you need a little sear for some obscure gun you found at a trade show, you can order it by part number and get a replacement.

When I finally bought my .500 magnum recently after many years and miles of contemplation dividing up my busy life, I took a little more time to admire the vast stock that Bass Pro Shop had to provide materials to the shooting sportsman.  I told my wife that having a place like Bass Pro around would have been very helpful in my early days of gunsmithing because there was nothing like that back then.  You had to go to Gatlinburg or some other exotic place to get that type of positive American atmosphere, let alone the unequivocal support.  But I also told her that Bass Pro had good stuff on their shelves, but that they were no Brownells.  That’s when I realized that I hadn’t visited their site since I stopped performing gunsmithing, so I pulled them up on my iPad and reconnected with an old friend.

I was so happy to see that Brownells was still going strong. They still offer their gigantic full color catalogue which was very expensive back in 1989—it must be ungodly today—but they still ship them to their customers.  They offer hundreds of how-to videos on YouTube completely free of charge and have that same American enthusiasm for the shooting profession they have always been known for, which was a relief.  So it didn’t take me long to reconnect with them after two decades.  As foreign as it sounds, a few decades can get away from you if you don’t watch your time carefully.  I am very selfish with my time because I always have so much going on.  Shooting was only a part of my life, so when you get busy with other things like philosophy, politics, legalisms, economics, and raising a family the proper way, months and years fly by like lightning across the sky.  But it’s never too late to come back to an old project which for me began with the purchase of my .500 magnum from Smith and Wesson.

Another thing that came up when I was younger was the stigma of shooting. I certainly felt it during the late 80s into 90s as the Clinton administration looked like it would be successful in banning military style firearms after the Brady Bill.  I didn’t know at the time if the shooting profession itself was going to be banned all together—it looked that way at the time.  I wasn’t sure how long a company like Brownells would be able to continue doing what they were doing.  When it comes to gunsmithing, they are the primary supplier.  They are the backbone to keeping the shooting industry humming along.  As progressive political activists like George Soros attempt to buy up American gun manufacturers to strategically end the supply of guns in America to private residence, it is the many years of commitment to building a client base of gunsmiths all across the United States that will ensure that shooting never dies out in the only free nation on earth—at least free in principle.  So long as there is a Brownells, there is a gunsmith somewhere who can build a gun from scratch.  Gun manufacturers are not necessarily needed.  But gunsmiths are—and because of Brownells, there are still a healthy number of them around who can keep the sport alive.

It’s easy to forget what America was always supposed to be when you watch the nightly news and read from its newspapers—particularly those from New York and Los Angeles.  But America is quite alive and well in the stores of Bass Pro and the pages of Brownells.  Of that later, Brownells is in a class by itself, and if you are a shooter, it would be a good idea to know who and what they are.  They are a tremendous resource for the modern American shooter—which is a unique company specific to the United States.  You won’t find an equivalent company anywhere else in the world.  Sweden can make tables and chairs for their IKEA stores, Germans can make their cars, France can breed women with unshaved armpits, and the Chinese can continue to make the stuff that Americans want to buy at Wal-Mart but there is nothing like a Brownells in Mexico, Brazil or Australia.  They are specific to the culture of Americana that we all know and love and are the backbone of our lifestyle of freedom.

My return back to my roots is the awareness that strategically progressive activists have sought to end businesses like Brownells and its customer base.  After what I’ve learned in all the other aspects of my life which has filled these pages with so much color and candor is that the best way to defeat that strategy is with an unapologetic embrace of the American art of shooting and caring for our guns.  And when it comes to caring for guns, Brownells as a company are the experts.  A look through their catalogue is enough to make a grown man weep.  There has never been a better collection of tools and gadgets anywhere between the covers of a big catalog.  Brownells does everything right and are a treasure from my past that I am happy to see just as strong today as they were then.  Brownells is the blood behind the body of the shooting profession.  They are what helps keep an interest in the NRA and other shooting organizations so robust, because Brownells keeps guns working and passed down from one generation to another constantly building a client base that has not be snuffed out by activists hell-bent on making America into a restricted nation like Europe.  Brownells keeps the gunsmithing profession alive and is the best source out there for keeping those family treasures functioning and robust.  And if you didn’t know about them dear reader, well, now you do.

Bill O’Reilly Wants Gun Control?: The true ‘THIN BLUE LINE’

Bill O’Reilly is not alone in his confusion over the role that government plays in the gun debate. There has been a lot said about his heated debate with Rep Chaffetz over stricter gun laws. Bill O’Reilly the popular author and TV reporter on Fox News is typically a conservative leaning investigator, but due to his roots in working class Levittown, New York, he has a soft spot for labor unions, and due to the fact that he’s lived and worked around New York City for a good part of his life, where they have banned guns completely, his view of the outside world is somewhat tainted.

O’Reilly blew up recently on the air with Chaffetz stating that while he did support American ownership of firearms, O’Reilly thought that the FBI should be contacted when heavy weapons or ammo are purchased. On the surface, what O’Reilly says makes sense; law enforcement should know what’s going on and what they are getting involved with if they are required to apprehend a suspect like James Holmes who has been stockpiling assault rifles and ammunition ahead of an intended shooting spree. O’Reilly’s reasoning is that if the FBI had the ability to know that James Holmes was buying large amounts of ammunition that law enforcement might have been triggered to watch Holmes more closely and therefore might have stopped the Aurora, Colorado movie theater shooting before it happened.

People who live in gun banning cities like Chicago, Washington D.C. and New York share with people who live in gun banning countries such as Canada and England the naïve assumption that law enforcement is always on the side of the people they are sworn to protect. These people believe that law enforcement should have 100% of community cooperation yielding all freedoms to the scrutiny of those law enforcement officers. Typically the people who are worst in this complete yielding of their personal freedoms to government authority have lived in the coastal cities at some point in their life and already had to face the concessions of living in those gun banning zones, so the premise of their argument is corrupted by their experience.

In the fly over states, gun ownership is a fact of life. Virtually everyone I know who does not live in a metropolitan area treasures their guns. Many own 3 to 5 per household, and these are typically very intelligent people who have very good jobs, raise very good families, and are overall good citizens. There are probably as many guns within 10 miles of my home as there are on a small military base, and that’s good. That’s exactly how it should be. In my community there isn’t much for police to do except break up domestic violence situations and petty theft. People in my community do not shoot each other when someone cuts the grass over on the property of their neighbor. Generally, people get along nicely, even when some of those people support school levies and others do not. We take our differences out at the ballot box, but generally are kind to each other while in public. Part of the reason for the peace and prosperity in rural areas are because of the large amounts of guns.

Cops are not shot when they come to our doors in suburbia. They are respected even when all they really have to do is sit on the side of the road and give us traffic tickets. There is a respectful tension between the general public and law enforcement. But there is not fear, because we are armed, and so are they.

But law enforcement by its title takes their orders from the political system that is in place, and if the political system is corrupt, like we all know it is abuses are bound to occur. In areas where guns are confiscated, stories of police violence against citizens goes up dramatically. Now, in my family there are several members who are cops, and one of my nephews who I have always been close to wants to be a cop. So what I say is taken in context and from experience. I have personally employed cops, and have known some of them as good friends, and with all that said I would not surrender my life completely to them under any circumstance. I do not trust them to make decisions on my behalf that will dictate the direction of my life, the lives of my family, and my property. I respect them and the danger of their job, but that is also what they are being paid for. I don’t give them a right to my life and property in the name of safety, I don’t give them the right to molest my wife and daughters, and I certainly don’t give them the right to draw a gun on me because they have a tendency to overact with grand theatrics when danger is present. I’ve seen this kind of behavior in more than one fight outside of bars where they show up on the scene and see a person laying face down in a pool of blood and assume the guy still standing did something wrong. Cops just like most people panic at the site of blood and guns, and they let their fears get away from them often. Cops are dangerous under this condition. Many of the gun laws created have been created under the pretense of panic where law makers have pandered to police officer’s fears.

Before the baby shower that my wife and daughter where holding for my youngest daughter over the previous weekend they sent me up to the local convenient store to purchase ice for the multiple coolers that were to be filled with drinks. I found myself in line behind a derelict of a man who was buying lottery tickets. Once he had his tickets he left and I was able to pay for my ice and get the key from the attendant. I went outside to get my ice out of the freezer and found that the man with the lottery tickets was sitting in his car scratching off the numbers. As I pulled out my bags of ice, the man cried out in glee from his car. “I won—I won!”

He jumped out of his car as though he had just won a million dollars and held the tickets up for me to see. “It won me some big money today! I won twenty dollars! I was afraid I was going to have to borrow money from my brother-in-law for cigarettes, but now I don’t have to!” As I loaded up my ice I couldn’t help but smile at the man who wasn’t any older than I was. “Now, if that happened every day, you’d never have to work another day in your life,” I said. He looked at me with confused attempts to connect neurons in his brain and relate something in his life that would help him understand my context. But my comment was completely foreign to him. I might as well have spoken a foreign language to him, because his lifestyle and mine are so far apart they might as well be from different countries. As I watched him run in to cash out his lottery tickets and come back out with a box of cigarettes and a toothless smile from ear to ear I thought—that was a guy I don’t want to have a gun—because he’s not smart enough to carry one.

It is people like that guy who police worry about when they have to arrest them for domestic violence because they beat the hell out of their bother-in-law over cigarette money, or had sex with their wife’s sister because they were all drunk and passed out on the floor of their smoke infested trailer. The wife erupts into a violent range wanting to kill the man for his reckless sexual exploits. It is often the poor and destitute who have trouble with guns, just like they have trouble with money. I have tried to employee such people for years, and they often lose their jobs because of attendance—they just don’t have the ambition to get out of bed. Many of them would rather use government regulation and unemployment benefits to keep from having to show up for a job, and because they are essentially lazy, they have low quality people in their lives and a low quality life style, and it’s there choice.

I should not be restricted from owning military grade weapons because of people like that lottery ticket guy. I should be able to have the guns of my choice in case politics fail completely and I need an equalizer against tyranny. Hopefully, just by having the gun, it will mean I never have to use it. But in not having it, police abuse and political cover-ups will occur, because they do now—and always have. My life is more important than the collective sum of the lottery ticket guy, or the nature of a politician’s congressional district, or presidential reign. All those kinds of things are just blips on the radar screen and don’t mean much in the scheme of things.

The FBI, the CIA, the ATF, the Department of Homeland Security, the TSA and our local police officers cannot be trusted to do the right thing 100% of the time. The need for the gun is for the 1% of the time that humans fail their fellow-man with the knowledge that one group has power over another. When the officer cuffs a man for a traffic warrant late on a Saturday night and discover his wife is in a compromised position and is quite attractive and unprotected, they may offer to turn the man loose if the woman has sex with them. Yes it does happen. The wife may want not want her husband arrested, or maybe going to jail will bankrupt them so she might be inclined to do as the officers suggest. I know of cops who have sat in my backyard and bragged about this kind of stuff. The arrested man at that point should have the right to defend his wife, and is property from intruders. But because the man is handcuffed in the back of a patrol car and the law has taken possession of his home, the police are in complete command to dictate the terms of release or apprehension. If the police know that the man is not a registered gun owner who might seek revenge for the indiscretion, they are much more inclined to abuse their power and take advantage of the wife.

If the man is a gun owner, the police will treat the man with much more respect. They’ll be much more careful with any suggestions that man might interpret as threatening because after the court hearings are over, they don’t want that man to come after them for revenge. So they treat everyone with more respect. That respect comes because of the gun.

The bottom line is no government agency needs to know any more about our lives than they need for basic government operation. They do not need to have the ability to have complete control over the American population in times of martial law. The President of the United States does not have the right to impede our rights over some political panic. And the weakest links of our society cannot be allowed to create legislation to keep certain guns out of their hands which punishes all of society. If we allow the weak links of our culture to determine the levels of our freedoms then we might as well consider ourselves a conquered civilization.

People like Bill O’Reilly are well-intentioned, but they are corrupted with the gradual erosion of progressive politics that have made such slight indiscretions seem minor and reasonable. When gun grabbers suggest that the Constitution was written in a time when the only guns were balls of lead and single shot muskets they are missing the point. America is not a land of law run by lawyers, and the Constitution is not a legal document as typical lawyers might consider it. It’s a political philosophy that has law draped from it as decoration. The decorations can all be removed yet the structure is still intact. It does not matter if the gun is a single shot musket, or an automatic machine gun, the need for guns in society are to equalize all participants with the ability to wipe temptation from the minds of the would-be thief, the looting politicians, and the ruthless dictator.

The government does not need to know what, or when we buy something or what we intend to do with it. It’s none of their business. Having more law enforcement officers does not make me feel safe. Only a gun at my own hip, or the guns next to my bed, or in my garage make me feel safe, and the need for them is an acknowledgment of human philosophy that understands the true nature of people. Gun control is social engineering that assumes that the people who look over our records, and monitor our activities are superior in their decision-making skills to society in general, and that just isn’t the case. In fact, it couldn’t be further from the truth. For those who assume that dangerous weapons are OK to ban from the public the meaning of the weapons are lost in the discussion. No—we do not need an AK47 to shoot a deer. But we may need it if a major storm comes through and knocks out power for days on end and bands of looters roam from house to house to rape, pillage, and destroy the property and lives of the inhabitants while the police are overwhelmed with the emergency. That is the time when all you have is yourself, and your guns to keep tragedy from making another victim of a family that trusted the law completely even though all the rules of society changed the moment the power went out. In times like that, more than a .22 six shot rim fire will be needed. That’s when the big guns come out, and the threat of those guns becomes the true “Thin Blue Line,” that was always the reality but never acknowledged.

Free Meredith Graves: A warning before my new book hits stores all across the country

Before all hell breaks loose when my new book, Tail of the Dragon is released in the upcoming months, I need to make a few things very clear. When the Tennessee governor and legislature points at my book and says it is an unfair representation of the State of Tennessee and casts the highway patrol in a bad light, I will point at the below article from The Blaze to validate my intentions.

My editor and I just closed off the edit to my long awaited project and it is off to the design teams and copyeditor. The book reads faster than anything I’ve ever read and it’s packed with little details that I’m very proud of. But the plot line of a fictional governor using the Tennessee Highway Patrol as his personal army, and means for obtaining the White House by manipulating a Fraternal Order of Police endorsement is an old political trick that does go on in abundance all over the country. The reason I picked Tennessee as the primary plot center is because there is a history there of a vigilant THP (Tennessee Highway Patrol) that does get wrapped up in the personal business of politics. I’m thinking of the THP 100 Days of Heat campaign as seen in their promotion video.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol is very proud of their vigilance, and they advertise themselves almost as a military force that is protecting people even from themselves, which brings up a whole bunch of constitutional questions. But as a whole, the THP functions like most Highway Patrols in other states. On the inside the officers believe they are serving the public by upholding the law, so they reside on high moral ground. But on the outside, among the rebels of society, who question the validity and qualifications of the “law makers” the thin blue line of law enforcement becomes a shield against corruption since the people must often fight the law to get to the corruption that makes the laws. In the case of my novel, a power grabbing governor can use the THP to execute their personal political initiatives and if there isn’t a law on the books to allow them to do so, they will make one. This is the problem with blind obedience to law enforcement and is the subject of my book. I think the current governor of Tennessee, Bill Haslam is a pretty good guy, so my story doesn’t target his administration. But it cannot be forgotten that at one time Al Gore was governor of Tennessee and most recently Phil Bredesen who I would term a progressive and these two governors show how Tennessee politics can play out on a national stage, and when a politician gets a corn cob up their ass to make things happen, turning to the THP to implement their wishes borders on abuse of power.

It is that abuse of power that I focus on in my Tail of the Dragon, or rather the temptation to abuse power for personal means. Because Tennessee has a history of political activism, and a proud, military like Highway Patrol, this makes them the target of my subject matter. It’s also because of stories like what was shown in The Blaze article above.

Innocent enough Meredith Graves walked into the 9/11 Memorial in New York City and checked her gun at the door, thinking she was doing the right thing. However, unknown to 39 year old Graves, a registered nurse and four year medical student from Knoxville, New York doesn’t recognize the 2nd Amendment and has gun control laws that defy common sense. So she was arrested and thrown in jail and faces a 3 and ½ years of possible jail time if convicted.

Oh, by the way, it wasn’t drugs that were in her pocket, it was crushed up aspirin. But the assumption was that it was cocaine, so you can see dear reader how quickly politics can become nationalized. All Meredith wanted to do is see the 9/11 Memorial. The injustice of this case has prompted in the Tennessee State Legislature House Resolution 585 which reads “We remind the citizens of New York, especially those residing in New York City, to drive carefully through the great state of Tennessee, paying extra attention to our speed limits.” The threat is obvious; the THP has been instructed by the state legislature to pull over speeders from the state of New York in protest against the arrest of Meredith Graves, which is a noble cause by Representative Frank Niceley the Knoxville based farmer who proposed the legislation on behalf of his constituent. I actually admire the action. New York City is violating the Constitution by not recognizing Meredith Graves right to carry a firearm and they attempted to paint her as a gun nut drug dealer to justify their arrest. It happens all the time in the realm of politics. And Tennessee is fighting for one of their own. But—the speed limit is the law, and Tennessee is admitting that they can, and do target specific groups of people when they need to make a point. In reality it is the people of New York who will pay for the crime against one of Tennessee’s own. In my new novel it is the tourists of Tennessee who find themselves pulled over and getting excessive citations to fund the presidential run of the fictional Tennessee governor. In both cases, reality and fiction, the Tennessee Highway Patrol is used as a tool to carry out the whims of the political class.

When Tail of the Dragon comes out it’s not the people of Tennessee and the THP that are my intended targets, where billions of dollars of damage is caused and war breaks out because the police simply pulled over the wrong guy, a guy who refuses to acknowledge the right of the law to infringe on his liberty. My target is the political system like Mayor Bloomberg who pushes for the harshest conviction of Graves because he wishes to justify his unconstitutional state law by sacrificing an American citizen to the whims of the political class. And it’s the tendency of a well-intentioned legislator to use the Highway Patrol as a weapon of war in any capacity, whether the intention is a noble one demanding release of Meredith Graves from jail so she can return to her home in Knoxville, or to generate revenue for the state. My anger, and the point of my upcoming novel is the use of law enforcement as a political tool that constantly infringes on the Constitutional rights of American citizens. My book is about a war that breaks out when one guy says “No” to the right of the law to jeopardize his freedom and the political struggle of that action as it evolves all the way up to the President of the United States.

So no offense Tennessee and I’m sorry in advance to put you in the national spotlight when my book hits the shelf. It’s not personal. But unfortunately, because of a history of actions and a reputation like the ones discussed in this case involving Meredith Graves, it is Tennessee and the clash of cultures between big nanny state politics in places like Washington D.C. and New York that cross paths with gun carrying, law abiding citizens like Meredith Graves who wanted to do the right thing, that dictate my attention. In fact, a very close friend of mine had almost exactly the same thing happen to him at the Washington Monument a few years back, and it was quite an ordeal. Unfortunately for Tennessee, it was Al Gore who became the spokesman for the movements Mayor Bloomberg represents. So the plot of my book takes place in Tennessee because it is this state more than any other who sits on the frontier of tyranny and freedom in a war that has been ongoing for more than 100 years.

When the book hits the bookstore shelves, believe me, people like Meredith Graves are what I’m thinking about, and not the unfortunate lives lost in the THP during the events that occur in my story as the police find themselves caught between politics and the people. I write in fiction in hopes that the actual violence can be avoided in reality as these struggles over ideas play out. But sometimes, like the situation involving Graves, I have my doubts.
