Another Way To Know Why Lee Wong is not a Republican: The cars we drive say everything about us

Another way that you can tell that Lee Wong, the West Chester trustee who is a clear Democrat pretending to be a Republican so he can get some votes in the 4th Senate District in Ohio, is by the car he drives. I didn’t know myself until I saw a video from a protestor confronting Lee while walking around his neighborhood. Under pressure from the protestor Lee went to his car as seen below and it was one of those ridiculous Fortwo cars that are considered “smart” cars and healthy for the environment. Those stupid little cars are nonsense and dangerous and should be illegal on our roads at only 70 HP with a 1.0L 3-cyl engine. No real Republican would be caught dead in one of those greenie weenie cars. The only people who have them are those who have allowed themselves to be caught up in the fiction of global warming, which is shorthand for the spread of communism around the world using environmental concerns as the change agent. You can’t be a pro capitalist Republican and drive one of these stupid cars—it’s just an un-American thing to do. Yet, I was not surprised knowing what I do about him to see that he was one of “those guys.”

Of course, whenever Lee gets pinned down with such statements his first thing to say is that he was in the military and that if you didn’t serve, then he is more of a patriot than you are for being in the armed services. So before going on about cars and what they say about the kind of person you are, let’s cover this little issue. I don’t begrudge anybody who serves in the military. I think it’s a great place to train tomorrow’s talent. I like having the best in the world, but I am not a yes sir, no sir kind of person. Its just not in me to follow orders from anybody. My life is far more valuable than the so-called “higher calling” they teach in the military, so I don’t feel a need to thank every veteran. Good for them for whatever duty they have done for God and country, but I view them as people far behind on their personal journeys. Anybody somewhat healthy can join the military and learn to follow orders. Learning to follow orders is not how you get the next great leaders, so in my mind, if that is not the objective, it’s a wasted effort, and the military isn’t about creating leaders, it creates people who learn to follow orders, which creates problems later in life when we have to teach veterans to think for themselves. So, I’m not a fan of veterans who promote themselves as the next political leaders managing our communities. I can see that even President Trump has had to learn this harsh reality, most of the big generals he brought into his administration have turned out to be Democrats, because by their nature, they are just other versions of government employees. My two favorite generals of all time were Claire Lee Chennault and Patton, and both of those guys were in trouble with the military all the time. I am far more rebellious than those guys, so Lee’s military service is just another blight on his record in my opinion. He didn’t lay down his life for me, he did what many do, he hid from responsibility by joining up to become just another government employee, which he never got over after all these years.

But we must talk about this stupid car, this little eco friendly piece of crap that should never be on a public road with much, much larger vehicles that Lee Wong drives. First of all he shows bad judgment in falling for the communist green movement dialogue that we should all do the responsible thing and surrender our desire for big SUVs and reduce our environmental footprint by driving smaller cars. Well, no, we shouldn’t. Rather we should drive the biggest and most powerful cars we can get our hands on because it says about us that we value our individualism in a capitalist culture and that our vehicles are extensions of ourselves in the grand scheme of things, which is why at any stop light in America that is double-laned in all directions, you’d be hard pressed to see any two cars lined up in the multitudes that are the same make and model—or even color. As American’s we like choice, and we like power and our cars reflect that. The greenie weenies who produced that ridiculous piece of crap, the Smart Fortwos were attacking the nature of American life by going as far to the opposite extreme as the SUV market was pushing for to make a political statement against American values. Pure and simple.

The car in an American market, which you don’t see elsewhere in the world, except a bit in Japan who have adopted our love of cars to some extent, is a statement and an extension of our homes. You don’t work hard in life to have a quarter million-dollar home and drive around a piece of crap–the car should be an extension of our life in general. If you are young, we understand you are working your way up in life, but your goal should be something bigger and better—always. You should never sacrifice your pleasures for the benefit of some climate change fiction made up by Democrats to control people through fear. You should get the best car you can get to go with the best house, the best clothes—the best of everything you can manage for yourself because that fuel drives capitalism and our American life that is the envy of the world. With Lee driving one of those stupid cars he’s announcing to the world that he is one of “those” anti-American forces working in the world to change the way we do things. And when he gets pressed on it he quickly retreats to his service in the armed forces as a defense. Yet obvious to me is that Lee is hiding behind his military service, to mask his tendency to follow the orders of whatever mass movement is happening at the time. In this case, its submission to the global warming communists. He is so enchanted with their message that he actually spent money on one of those stupid Smart Fortwo cars that could be toppled over easily with a strong wind.

What you drive says a lot about who you are in American cultures. Many people when they meet me wonder why I’m not driving around in a sports car, which I’d love to. Only I’m a big family person who often finds myself hauling around lots of people, so mini vans and SUVs are necessary for my life. I have a hot rod car in the garage waiting for a clear schedule and that keeps me appeased. But people just reading this blog site think I would have something more ostentatious, but reality has a way of sifting through an image to the heart of a person, and that usually ends up being the case. We drive our cars in my family for a long time, but we always buy them new, and as big as possible for the reasons described. People who make a choice to buy a smaller car, especially when they are older and have the means to do anything they want financially, are making a political statement contrary to the nature of American life, and that isn’t just villainous, its anti-Republican.

“Its Only A Flesh Wound”: The Dayton Mass Killer and his liberal, cocaine driven murders

OK, I’m happy to say I told you so dear reader. Within hours of the Dayton mass shooting rampage that has so many calling for gun control, we learned this week that the killer had cocaine in his body, he even had a bag of it on him at the time of his death after he was shot over 24 times by police, and he was on anti-anxiety medication combined with alcohol. Which is exactly what I had said happened knowing very little about the evidence at the time but understanding the condition of the murders. Yet we are supposed to believe that gun control would have averted the killings. And we are supposed to put our complete trust into a police force that put so many bullets into the dead body of the attacker that they actually shot some of the victims with their own bullets. The whole ordeal was actually and remains a mess. It was liberal philosophies that made the shooter who he was and it was state controlled law enforcement that obviously over reacted and put more people in danger due to their “training.”

The killer Betts had 52 gunshot wounds in his upper and lower torso. Many of them were exit wounds but think about it. More than twenty shots fired in any crowded area would be a potential for more people around the target to be injured, and at least 2 bullets struck other people. It is humorous that when explaining this to the public Police Chief Richard Beihl had to describe those wounds as “superficial wounds.” It kind of reminds me of the Monty Python movie The Holy Grail. “Its only a flesh wound.” Of course that police training entailed shooting at the subject so that so long as he was near his rifle that they had to keep pummeling him with rounds of fire and that each of those bullets would bounce off the pavement and be a potential projectile flying into innocent people running away from the crime. They had to make sure that Betts was dead. Ah, but they were under pressure, the police. After all, wouldn’t everyone panic under such a crises and hindsight is 20/20. Well, no, not everyone panics under those conditions.

Sure, there were lots of cops that were around late that night in Dayton patrolling the entertainment district and they engaged the shooter in 30 seconds. But with so many cops also comes the understanding that they all knew this guy was a mass killer who had just attacked people on their watch, and they wanted to make sure some of their bullets got into the body of him so they could claim credit for bringing an end to the carnage, by creating more carnage. 52 bullet holes, that is just out of control, and more about getting their name in the record books than actually stopping the crime. With so many police officers firing into the cocaine liberal Betts, nobody could have taken the next logical step and moved in to remove the weapon from the attacker while he was down, minimizing the risk to the area. I have argued and will continue to, that most CCW holders would have done a much better job and not let their adrenaline get the better of them, as the police obviously suffered from. A typical NRA member with a CCW would have been much calmer and created less carnage in stopping the bad guy.

But that’s not the story of the day, its all about how to detect mental health, and the gun control advocates desire to do background checks and have red flag laws. Would a red flag law prevented this liberal Elizabeth Warren supporter from smoking crack and mixing anti-depressant medicine with alcohol and who knows whatever else, then making a terrorist out of himself? I would argue that just calling oneself a Democrat is a kind of declaration of insanity. Should all Democrats be flagged as potential terrorists? I think historically speaking, we could make that case. Is that where all this is going? Because any time a mind is altered with intoxicants, alcohol, marijuana, cocaine, anti-depressants even, they are all potential minds for becoming killers. Most of them won’t of course. But where do you draw the line?

Just like the cops that shot their guns over 24 times into a body within the confines of a crowded street, politicians show they have even less good judgment on the matter. Most of them want illegal drugs legalized so they can get the tax money for their giveaway projects, and they don’t want to consider what those intoxicants do to our society. Maybe everyone who drinks a beer or smokes marijuana should be “red flagged.” I could live without drinking or doing any drugs. I would much rather have a society of gun owners carrying them around in public than a bunch of drunken heathens intoxicated in their spare time and thinking about dumb things. The lessen here is that no politician, especially on the Republican side where they should be leading the way, is addressing the core problem—drugs cause mental depletion, so no mental health scan under normal conditions will root out a potential killer. And we certainly have seen from the FBI to the local law enforcement that they are only human, and they panic too under duress and they may shoot you just for being nearby. So is the proposal of more government patrolling the streets viable, no. Is more government doing background checks and administering red flag laws viable, no. Would an assault weapons ban work, so that government could be the only ones with high powered weapons there to serve politicians who have a lot to hide in the world. Absolutely not!

So what are we to do? Well, first of all, lets admit to ourselves that drugs are a problem and our government should not be endorsing the practice of intoxication—of any kind. People will still want to drink their beer and whatever, but we must stop promoting that activity as normal. And we certainly must understand that endorsing cocaine, depression medicine and marijuana will lead to a less safe society. We cannot give up the Bill of Rights so that people can just sit around and get wasted. I understand that the political class likes intoxicated people who can’t think, because it makes it easier to garner their vote. But the consequences are obvious, and this Betts killer was an obvious example of when such a situation goes wrong. I think a legitimate look into every mass killer would tell a similar story as Betts. He was obviously a clear-cut case, he was a liberal likely caught up in the modern antics of political theater, and being a drug user, had lost his ability to rationalize outcomes. So, he became a mass killer with the obvious hope that it would inspire gun control, which is why he used the high capacity magazine. He was after all supportive of gun control, and his natural aim of throwing his life away, and those of many others, was to force the issue. But all those thoughts are derived from insanity provoked by drug abuse. Given our current culture which accepts that condition, there is always the potential for countless killers to emerge. And until we deal with the drug use, no law created by anybody will stop them. Obviously, we can’t count on law enforcement to save us. Apparently to them, collateral damage is a perfectly acceptable criteria so long as they stop the mass shooters when they do appear.

The Politics of Gun Control: Why Republicans shouldn’t give an inch to Democrats

It’s time that we talk about political strategy for a bit and where we go from hear on gun control issues regarding the Republican Party. It is obvious that the expectation from everyone after the mass shootings in Ohio and Texas recently that it is Republicans who have to come to the center and to move in a gun control direction. And I certainly understand the temptation to act on that pressure which is obvious on President Trump and the Ohio Governor Mike DeWine. In DeWine’s case, I like the guy, but he is not what I’d call a solid conservative. He’s wavered on lots of things over the years including the recent gas tax that he put forth to pay for our roads in Ohio. He’s a generally good person who wants to do something just like everyone else when a mass shooting occurs. For most people a law seems like a good idea even if it would be just a token measure. And for east coast liberals who have learned to be conservatives over the years, like President Trump and his sons, they are thinking like negotiators, where our side gives a little, then their side will give a bit too. But that’s not how this game works and we all know it, especially in the middle part of the country where I live. Rush Limbaugh gets it and he talked about it during his first hour on the show he did on August 9th, and I agree with him emphatically. President Trump and Governor DeWine should not work with liberals to pass even more background checks and to start down the path of “red flag” laws. Authorities should have been doing their jobs in the first place. More laws won’t do anything to save anybody in the future. But it will strengthen the anti-gun liberals who will control the message and for that, it will be a very negative thing for Republicans.

Remember several years ago, I’m pretty sure it was 2016 if you want to look it up in these archives that I predicted on WAAM radio the end of the Democrat Party by 2021. Well, we are right on path. I also said then that the country would split into two more political parties that would come out of the Republican side. You can see now how that party would evolve, with politicians like Mike DeWine becoming the new liberal side of the party where someone like me would be on the conservative side traditionally recognized. As Democrats move further to the left ideologically most people won’t want to go with them leaving the anarchy wing of the party to flounder with little support and an eventual collapse. Joe Biden doesn’t have a chance in spite of what polling is saying. He will struggle through the primaries and if he meets Trump head to head, he’ll implode due to his tired old nature. And he’s the best that Democrats have. When they don’t win back the presidency or the House Democrats will implode as hopeless fanatics.

Not to mention what is coming out of the Bruce Ohr 3025 release. It is going to take most people a while to digest what the FBI did against an American election that saw Trump win in 2016 in spite of their efforts. The bodies are really going to fall in liberal circles on that one because it was the FBI that had become politically active in helping elect them at the cost to Republicans. Democrats are going to have big problems as a party coming out of this next election and the legal reality of the FBI fall out. The Democrats are blowing apart so the history of any bipartisan support will fall on deaf ears. There is no reason to do it. There is nothing politically to gain by working with Democrats this year or next year. The photo opportunities will be a liability not a help and even though it makes sense to Trump and others to give a little on gun control since more than 60% of voters support some measure of it, the battlefield of politics is changing dramatically and it is quite clear that in the aftermath that 60% number won’t mean the same thing. It is far better for Republicans to push for the causes of social failure for which Democrats have played such a large part than to feed them with bipartisan debate to make them feel like they are at a table that they lost long ago.

The problem with gun control is that it is not the right of government to give or take it away. Reading recently the Ohio Constitution again, which I posted one of my favorite sections on Instagram, the right to own guns and to use them not just within my state, but the 2nd Amendment in general is to retake control of our government if it should go asunder. And when the FBI gets caught doing what it did to President Trump the evidence is obvious that we are already there. If our election system doesn’t work and the government employees for whatever reason feel that they have a right to manipulate that election and pick winners and losers abusing the vast power that we have given them, then they aren’t going to give that power back when they get caught. They are going to abuse that power to continue to use it and if they have to kick down the doors of their political enemies to do that while calling CNN so they can record the embarrassing details, as they did with the aide to the President, Roger Stone, that practice will continue and even get worse. Guns aren’t there as a right given by government. They are there to keep an honest government with the threat of taking that power away if they become corrupt. Nobody is going to leave a public office at the end of a barrel of a BB gun. No, we need the kind of guns if not more so that the military uses, because the military operates on behalf of our government that is supposed to be working for us. But if that changes, there is no other recourse but removal from office at gun point, because laws at that point fail to inspire good conduct.

Working with Democrats on gun control only feeds them political power which Republicans have no reason to surrender. I personally blame Democrats for all this violence, entirely. They are always talking about dog whistles that Trump is flashing to his base in speeches, which I understand the psychology behind it. But its not him that’s doing it. Trump reflects his base. Democrats use dog whistles all the time and usually it’s the Hollywood actor community that dispatches it into popular culture through entertainment channels, such as this whole issue on plastic straws and environmentalism in general, or the toxicity of masculinity in the culture of the sexes. It was dog whistles controlled by Democrats that set off those shooters and they know it. The chances of all three of these recent mass shootings occurring as close together as they were in time, and by the age ranges and personality types of the shooters themselves, they are creations of the political left and they heard the whistle. Not to get conspiratorial about CIA mind control devices or anything. But the kind of hateful rhetoric that came from the mouth of Democrats with no answer to Trump’s many victories is enough to push young shooters like those kids over the edge and into a mass killer category. There were plenty of red flags, but when you have an organization like the FBI willing to help Democrats, how can you trust them to do their jobs correctly when we know better now. If we don’t want to look at the evolving case of Bruce Ohr, then lets look at the San Bernadine murderers where the FBI allowed the destruction of that crime scene by the media to cover up the obvious case of domestic terrorism so that the story wouldn’t explode with even more damning evidence that would have been embarrassing to the liberal ledger. Its not just a few people at the top as hard as it is to admit, but all through the organization.

The bottom line is that things are changing, dramatically in politics. We are looking at the end of a political party and DeWine and Trump would do well to let it die. Don’t give them a little false hope by working with them on bipartisan gun control that will be Republicans giving away value where Democrats have nothing to give, and never will. They will not help with the wall, or any infrastructure. They only want to say that they forced Republicans to move on gun control against the warnings of the NRA. That’s all they care about. So forget about them, destroy them in the upcoming election, then lets see how the country settles its new political landscape. The best gun control is to improve the social aspects of our people. Stick with that, we certainly don’t need more laws that nobody cares about or respects. Don’t empower Democrats by showing the world that they still have command of anything. Let them die the death they have made for themselves, then, and only then, can we have a real conversation.

The Funeral of George H. W. Bush: It was a lot like the movie Soylent Green

The funeral of Bush 41 I thought was nice. I always liked George Bush the senior, and the younger, 43 as he is often termed—as people. But I do not think they were very good presidents, at least in the way I would expect out of a Republican in the White House. But I didn’t dislike them, although I remember very well how much the media did. So I shared with many the observations that the media was all too friendly toward George Bush in his death, very much contrary to what they had been during his life. That of course provoked the question as to why. As odd as it was to see the Trumps sitting with the Obamas and the Clintons and to even have Jimmy Carter there as well it was also institutionally satisfying, and it was good that President Trump attended and said nice things along the way. But the invisible strings of conformity that stirred about the entire event reminded me an awful lot of the old movie Soylent Green. Through life the people are harvested as commodities of the state, but upon their death they were ushered into the afterlife with warm music and revelry before being eaten by society itself.

The aspects of the Bush funeral which I fundamentally disagree with, and which the press and seemingly everyone celebrated was that the former president was a sacrificial person who gave his life to service for others, and now that he was no longer a threat to the order of things as a Republican, it was OK to honor him. All the attributes that were celebrated mostly are concepts that are anti-individual and pro collectivist which is the subtle undertone to the entire exercise. The message to all other Republicans by the press, the not so subtle part of their message was that if you want to be liked by the media, then the attributes of George Bush that involved self-sacrifice, service and humility are the way to get there. While those traits are largely Christian tenants of value, that doesn’t mean that the old foe of Marxism isn’t present. To understand that idea you have to understand European history and the role that the Catholic Church played on controlling so many people’s lives, in a very negative way. Then you’d have to know that Karl Marx desired to exploit that inbreed trait into the targets of his philosophy work so much inspired by Immanuel Kant. To focus thoughts on others is the way to eternal redemption. To focus on yourself is the way of the evil vices of capitalism!

George Bush was a rich man who inherited a lot of money from his father and sought to dispel the guilt that a Marxist leaning society injected upon him with service in the military, then in government for much of his life. He wanted very much to be a good man and he was, unfortunately the way that good was defined for him meant that he needed to be a collectivist. So his great wealth created a paradox for him and his extended family that was deliberately hard to negotiate. The minefield however was set up by the institutional culture for which the media represents. Their value system is subservience to the needs of the machine, sacrifice and honor as determined by the amount of sacrifice an individual makes toward the institutions they occupy.

This institutional element has become much more pronounced now in the age of Trump because so many of them are coming unraveled, and it is the source of the hatred of the current President. The odd exchange of the Trumps sitting down next to law breakers and social reformers hell-bent on taking society toward infinite collectivism was a clash of ideas that were unavoidable, yet they were brought together out of respect for a presidency that is the lead seat of American institutionalism looked at in entirely different ways. The paradox was revealed in the life of George Bush as his son George W. Bush conducted the eulogy of his father’s life and what a great job he did. While summarizing the merits of such a sacrificial being he managed to paint a picture of quite an interesting character who still sky dived late in his life and loved to watch cop dramas on television. For me I found those aspects appealing. To the institutionalists it was the sacrifice. But everyone was generally brought together by some notion of a recently deceased American president.

The media in this case are the institutional representatives that look at the life of all conservatives as bacteria in the body of collective experience. But anybody familiar with biology knows that bacteria is a useful element, its villainy is purely relative. The media hated the Bush family because they were Republicans but as the country grew away from that kind of conservative thought, the public has grown tired of the media. It was an odd thing to hear Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple lecture the world that any form of hate had no place on their platforms. As much as I love Apple products—and I do, and I know Rush Limbaugh does as well, clearly Tim Cook would view my support of the Second Amendment and liberal activism as hate speech and is suggesting that I’m not welcome to the company. But it’s not lost on me that most people who call themselves liberals, especially the creative types, use Apple as their primary functionary to interact with cyberspace. And most of them participate in hate speech. I have no doubt that if a survey of ANTIFA members were taken as to what phone system they used most it would be Apple if they could actually afford the product. Is Apple as a company talking to them?

The harassment of the Bush family by the media over all the years created Donald Trump. George W. Bush and his dad and brother took a terrible beating needlessly by just the same kind of people who tend to buy Apple products, the Hollywood left, the media culture, the hipsters and saggy assed getto thugs, the drug mules who cross the border then claim that America owes them something as illegal immigrants. It was their collective ooze for which the media pronounced was civil conduct and once George Bush the senior was laid to rest, it was OK to pay respect to him in that sacrificed state, as an essence of life to be consumed by the masses, a throw back to the days before there was a Donald Trump in the White House, rather than the man who loved his wife dearly and was a damn good father to his kids. There is a lot very evil about the process, the way that all the good things about George H. W. Bush were punished and all the bad things about him adored. It was quite an interesting paradox which comes from a society that has a schizophrenic relationship with itself. It was very clear to me, that the institutions of our modern life values death and consumption far more than productivity and effort. And that is the hard lesson that was very much on full display at the funeral of the 41st President of the United States.

Why We are Lucky to be Able to Vote for George Lang: Issue 1, and the pro-crime Democrats

There are a number of reasons to vote for George Lang to keep the 52nd House seat that he currently holds in Columbus, Ohio. One of the most obvious is that George has an ambition to make Ohio one of the most business friendly states in the United States which says a lot considering some of the states in America and their relationships with business. George understands that economies are not grown from the middle out, but from the top down. The “middle class” that liberals are always talking about is created by jobs. Without jobs there isn’t anything for a middle class to do. I don’t even like the term “middle class” because it assumes that some people are under other people and that just isn’t the way humans think generally, but in politics it’s an established term that Democrats use to describe people they want to rule over. George Lang is one of the few people I know who truly understands this relationship between people and business, and he is ambitious to allow business development to improve the lives of everyone around them. If it was only for George Lang’s pro-business stance, he would be the best person that you could hope to vote for anywhere in the country on November 6th 2018. I like a lot of people who are up for election this year, but nobody as much as George Lang. However, what really makes George special is his positions on firearm ownership, particularly Ohio’s need to have a stand your ground law.

Currently the way Ohio’s laws of confrontation are written they favor a duty to retreat in hostile situations which greatly favors the ambitions of the malicious. If the intentions of Ohio’s Issue 1 are added under the potential of the Democrat running for governor against Mike DeWine this is very dangerous for individual liberty for all Ohioans. Democrats under Issue 1 want to empty prisons and put criminals back on the streets, and obviously that will lead to more crime for which the people being threatened have a “duty to retreat.” That makes absolutely no sense, but as Ohio law is written now, and under the empowerment of liberalism, from RINO Republicans like John Kasich and extreme liberals like Sherrod Brown Democrats are poised to really make Ohio a dangerous place, due to the intent behind the legislation they support. Like their poor economic theories of growth from the inside out which is completely foolish, Democrats believe that people can and should be reformed instead of separated from those who aspire toward value. The only way to make that relationship work is to bring down the value of everyone so that the criminal and social lunatics can have a seat at the table of society. Issue 1 assumes that the prison represents a value judgment for which Democrats resent, that criminals are a lower class of people as judged by other people. This is the same reason there are liberal “duty to retreat laws.” If you really get down to what a typical Democrat believes about guns and the potential of gun violence it is that using a gun to protect yourself or your property is reprehensible because it denies the desires of other people to share in what you have should they desire it. That is why essentially all Democrats are pro crime candidates, because they desire shared assets in society as opposed to protection of individual rights—in every circumstance.

People who look at my Instagram page, and my many other social media platforms might refer to me as a gun nut, which I am a long way from being. If the news did cover me in a story, they would say that I have an obsession with guns, which from their perspective is a very dirty thing. But truly I see guns as a huge philosophic achievement in the context of human existence. Their invention and implementation on a personal basis have advanced society in tremendous ways and is the essential foundation to everything concerning law and order. Without personal ownership of firearms, America would not be the great country that it is. If you really peel back the layers of American society into what makes it great, it is personal gun ownership. Everything else trickles off that essential foundation, just like the basic economic theories of a pro-growth GDP, from the top down, guns ensure that laws are followed, and that laws are intended to protect personal property—not the property of the state, but the property of the individual.

When we talk about our nation being more divided than ever this is essentially what we are experiencing, the idea of state property and individual property. Democrats want the state to control all property and to issue out fairness whereas Republicans believe in the protection of individual property. That leaves the ambitious to outwork the lazy and some people ultimately own more property than others. Some who don’t want to work for their ownership of property rationalize that as criminals they can steal from others, which deep in their hearts is a very Democrat way of thinking, which is why Issue 1 is supported by extreme liberals like Richard Cordray and why Ohio generally has laws of confrontation that favor a “duty to retreat.”

That is why George Lang is such a great Ohio representative. He understands this basic philosophical premise which most people don’t. He’s not afraid to go into a gun store like the great one in Liberty Township, Ohio–Right 2 Arms (I buy most of my guns from them) and give a statement about his support of “stand your ground laws” which means that gun owners do not have an obligation to retreat in a conflict. It is at the point of implementation the best way to deal with criminal behavior and when criminals are contained, business owners are hungry to expand economic activity. One goes hand in hand with the other. It is not a coincidence that America has more guns in it than people. And it also has the greatest economy in the world with no country even coming in a close second—especially not communist China. When I promote guns in my social media it is not to show a love of power and the ability to inflict death, it is in support of the tool which makes economic expansion happen. Without the gun there would be no order in American society. In places around the world where guns are illegal in every case social behavior is greatly scaled back and the loss of ambition which naturally cascades off that mental aptitude destroys free enterprise and the hope of acquiring wealth through economic expansion and the entire country suffers. I’m thinking of England as I write this.

George Lang understands this complex relationship between personal firearms and business expansion, and as a state representative he will support both. If Ohio can manage to get a real Republican governor there is a real chance at getting “stand your ground laws” implemented in the near future. When gun owners and concealed carry holders do not have an obligation to retreat, criminals lose a great deal of their power and in Ohio, a state that actually is considering Issue 1 where criminals can be released from jail and thrown back into society to fulfil the insanity of Democrat thinking, the basic foundations of gun ownership are all that keep a pro-growth state economy a possibility for the future. That is one of the main reasons that George Lang is one of the best Republicans in the country that anybody could vote for and if you are in the 52nd House District on election day, you are very lucky indeed to have the ability to vote for him.

Jim Renacci Destroyed Sherrod Brown in the Final Debate of 2018: Sheree Paolello and Miami University helped make history

If the third and final debate between Jim Renacci and long time Senator Sherrod Brown were a fist fight the liberal would have found his face ripped off and the ring mopped with his blood by the Republican challenger for the election that is taking place on November 6th, 2018. It wasn’t even close, Jim Renacci was very good in that debate even at one point using his accounting skills on the stage to add up Brown’s lobby money to make a point about how the senator had become one of the biggest lobby recipients on the Hill. After watching all the debates, this one was clearly the best one as it was held on the campus of Miami University in their Hall Auditorium to a ruckus crowd that was divided down the middle with Brown supporters on one side, and Renacci supporters on the other. Sheree Paolello along with her Channel 5 partners did a fantastic job with the entire event, I was very impressed with her handling of the crowd and managing the clock. She let Renacci and Brown duke it out on stage without too much clock trouble while letting the audience lightly engage in the debate before commanding their sentiments playfully, but firmly from the stage and bringing everything to a close on time, on national television. I’m a bit of a sucker for competence and I go to a lot of these things, and this one was certainly one of the best run events that I had ever witnessed. Sheree deserves a lot of credit for her fine balance of professionalism and playfulness to really bring out on stage who the two men really were as candidates and that certainly worked to the favor of Jim Renacci.

The tickets for the event were split with Sherrod Brown supporters on the left side of the large room facing the stage and Renacci supporters on the right. There was an upper deck in the hall that had people there as well, and of course those are the type of liberals that activate and always show up at these events to make Democrats look like a larger sampling of society. But this time the Republican had a lot of people of their own. There were more people for Brown which wasn’t surprising for a campus event. Additionally, it was raining and there was a long line to get into the building through security, so for a Friday night to fill a large auditorium on a college campus in the pouring cold rain of a late October in 2018 I was very surprised to find myself surrounded with a very energized crowd for Jim Renacci. It looked to me that the Democrat radicals who obviously showed up to out shout conservatives as they could were shocked as well to find a resistance to their usual antics. At the end of the debate as I show in the video I posted on Twitter, that crowd was certainly different from similar events—the battle lines that ran through our national politics were certainly on full display.

But during the event itself Jim Renacci showed a large range of skills, everything from humor to satirical wit, he kept Sherrod Brown bouncing around on his heels all evening. Brown had a few good lines, but most of the debate he was forced to react to Renacci by attempting to use the same tired old liberal talking points about the environment, growing the economy from the inside out, and attacking banks. Renacci the former accountant and extremely successful businessman was just too much for Brown. It was really a battle between an achiever in Renacci and a Marxist theorist who has tried for three decades to make that vision into a reality and failed time and time again in Brown. The liberals following Brown clearly weren’t used to conservatives having such a good candidate in Renacci supported by such an aggressive crowd of supporters and backed by such a successful President Trump. Jim Renacci was handpicked for this job of incoming senator to give the White House more help on the Hill with the Trump agenda and that clearly exposed a new political wrinkle that Democrats just weren’t prepared for.

Of course, the topic of Brown’s domestic violence problems came up and Renacci handled it particularly well. Brown did what he has been doing to defer the issue by saying that Renacci should be ashamed of himself for even bringing it up. But it was a question from the moderator and Renacci had to answer the question accurately. It was after all Sherrod Brown who tried to keep Brett Kavanaugh out of the Supreme Court by picking the testimony of abuse articulated unsubstantiated by Dr. Ford recently who set a standard of conduct for which he couldn’t live up to. So it was a fair question and all Brown could do was say that various newspapers in the state of Ohio wanted Renacci to stop bringing up the issue. Well, liberal newspapers in the bag for Democrats don’t make the rules—they can decide to cover Republicans and Democrats differently, which they certainly do. If a Republican tried to get away with Sherrod Brown’s answer to the domestic violence question, they would have been ran off the stage, but the media is more than willing to give a free pass to Democrats every time. But Renacci kept the complicated matter on point and exposed the hypocrisy very well. By Sherrod Brown’s own rules that were thrown at Brett Kavanaugh just a few weeks ago, Brown must step down out of the race. His refusal to do so takes away all the merit of his argument against Kavanaugh, which isn’t surprising. Democrats like Sherrod Brown are used to saying one thing and doing another. They glue the whole thing together every time with emotions from their supporters who show up at these events and shout down the other side into shame, but not this time. This time the conservative had a rowdy crowd of their own and once the liberals started breaking the rules of the evening with their frequent outbursts, Renacci’s crowd started doing the same. Security had to move up into the room to threaten to remove provocateurs several times, and at the end things did get a little out of control from the audience perspective. Somehow Sheree Paolello kept the whole thing on the tracks and under those conditions Jim Renacci just shined. Brown obviously wasn’t prepared and lost the debate handedly.

It was a beautiful night to be out on the very nice campus of Miami University. I wish that truly colleges were places that they were intended to be, places of thought and discussion. After the debate the university put on a nice meet and greet out in the lobby which was designed to facilitate good discussion between everyone with some nice beverages and food offerings. It reminded me that colleges were intended to serve a positive function in society among thoughtful people, even though that has not been the reality. They have instead emerged as cesspools of liberalism, but on my way back to the car under the steady rain soaking my suit tight against my skin on a cold night, I felt like the national dialogue had advanced properly. It wasn’t just because my guy won the debate and that liberals were challenged for a change by members of the #MEGA movement, but it was the campus itself showing a turn for the better in these early years of a new century toward what should have always been. And that is truly what Making America Great Again is all about—and on that debate night Channel 5 and the University of Miami played their part in what will soon become history—and the world is better off for it.

It Was a Radical Democrat Who Mailed Those Bombs: How Kathy Wayenandt’s campaign in Ohio is tied to liberal terrorism nationwide

I’m going to go out on a limb here since it’s still early in the discovery process and proclaim that no Republican would have sent any “suspicious” packages to George Soros, Maxine Waters, the Clintons, or any of the other top Democrats that reported being the recipient of terrorist intentions. How do I know, because conservatives have no need. Conservatives are winning, so why would anybody even think of doing such a thing? The violence was instigated by a liberal, I am 100% sure. They are desperate for a way to rally their base because they are seeing the early voting numbers and energy ahead of the midterm election which I explained on Twitter.

Democrats are the kings and queens of dirty tricks and they will try anything and do anything to achieve their objectives. We are not in conspiracy theory territory here because their behavior is well recorded now, and we know that they have deep roots into the “Deep State.” The F.B.I. after all did try to conspire with Democrats to win the 2016 election so everything in the realm of dirty tricks is on the table. As I have said, I expect massive voter fraud in this midterm election, I expect attempts at violence from radical leftists’ groups. We can expect them to throw everything and the kitchen sink at trying to suppress Republican turnout which is also why I have been saying that conservative voters must show up with such force that no amount of dirty tricks will work, kind of like what happened in 2016.

This Democrat playbook is well-known now, there are no surprises from them. We knew the Kavanaugh events play by play, and they ended up fueling Republicans to the polls. In my home town of Butler County my kids went to vote early, and they were told that 500 to 1000 people every day were showing up at the early voting center to vote since it opened. In Butler County, those people aren’t voting for liberals. Republicans are energized in that same way all across the country and Democrats can see the writing on the wall. At the election center there were a lot of signs for the liberal Kathy Wayenandt that were put out by a few unionized labor volunteers to make it look like she has a campaign, but in reality, she is a good example of what is going on across the country.

I remember when Kathy Wayenandt was running the pro tax levy campaign for the local school district of Lakota. I was on the No Lakota Levy side and just a few days out from the election things were tight. It looked like the tax increase was going to go down for a fourth straight time. Now I don’t think Kathy had anything to do with it, but a note was found in the bathroom just a few days ahead of the election warning of a school shooting. Of course, when this levy was going on just as it is today, school shootings were on everyone’s mind and one of the themes of the levy was that the tax increase would be used for school security to hide the fact that it was only a money grab for teachers to get extraordinary raises—to pump money into the labor union. Well, Kathy and her radicals, the same people putting up signs everywhere recently for her run for the 52nd District against the great Republican George Lang won the election by just 1% out of thousands of voters, and the big push came from the media coverage of terrified parents worried about a school shooting. Of course, nothing ever came of the investigation because it was actually someone from the pro levy side that planted the note. That is what desperate people do when they see that things are going against them. They cheat, they lie, and they try to invoke fear.

That was just a local issue but on the grand scale of national politics the same thing is going on and some radical Democrat from their side decided to try to put Republicans on the defensive in the closing days of the election season. They hope to make sympathetic characters out of Holder, Waters, Clinton and Soros because they have been caught openly instigating violence against Republicans and Democrats have to change the narrative before they lose even more seats in the House and Senate. It is the last shot from a desperate party and likely it is a lone loser like that assassin who tried to kill Republicans at the baseball game not long ago. Remember that guy? Republicans are winning, they have no desire to do anything like this because they have Trump, a proper representative for their disenchantment and is poised to hold power well into the future. Conservatives are willing to wait in line for 24 hours to see Trump speak at a rally because he is their outlet to solving the problem. They are not motivated to mail a bunch of bombs to a bunch of Democrats who are on their way out of power—because there is no need.

I spoke yesterday at some length about the natural insanity of a typical Democrat. I even went out of my way to personally speak to Kathy Wayenandt after a recent debate and she swore to me that she wasn’t a Democrat, that she was a conservative with liberal social leanings. Well, that sounds like a mess to me, but I’ll take her word for it. As I said, Democrats have problems and they are prone to doing these kinds of things even against themselves if it evokes sympathy for their cause. I know a lot of Republicans at all levels of society and not a single one of them would go out of their way to mail a bomb to someone they didn’t like. Even with all the problems of the Obama administration and the height of the Tea Party movement no conservative came close to committing an act of terrorism—because it just doesn’t match the philosophy of being a Republican.

We are meant to think that there is some crazed branch of conservatism out there capable of doing something “terrorist” in nature and I’m saying that those elements of conservative philosophy do not exist. That doesn’t mean that conservatives will just take being pushed around either, but they don’t mail pipe bombs or commit terrorist activities. Even the faction that liberals call the “alt right” are not conservatives, the neo Nazis and KKK racists are just variations of liberalism within the Democratic party. They aren’t Republicans. They may call themselves that for the cameras, just like whoever mailed these bombs tried to make it look bad for conservatives by targeting high-profile Democrats, but their ambitions are always on the political left. Nazis, fascists and anarchists are all elements of the political left. Even though Antifa claim they are “antifascists” they are on the same side as the neo Nazi and the typical racist. Republicans are not in those groups. Tea Party members all through the last ten years educated themselves and voted accordingly, they didn’t shut down highways, harass politicians in restaurants, and try to exert force—even if they may have been justified in doing so. They voted, and they are in power, and they aren’t giving it up. And they certainly didn’t all of a sudden become terrorists. Only the Democrats know those methods and they are guilty of this one as well.

The Grim Reality for Democrats: Kathy Wyenandt loses steam in a local election which reflects the national implications for her party

I couldn’t help but notice that Kathy Wyenandt’s campaign sign was gone from the billboard she had been renting near my home on RT.4 in Liberty Township where she is running against George Lang for the 52nd District House seat. The old billboard was nice, and expensive and she started with her message early in September 2018. She thought like a lot of Democrats did that this whole thing was going to be easy. After all her experience told her that the 2013 Lakota levy had passed and she had led that tax increase. In reality I had to break her heart on the matter when we spoke privately later after a debate. The Lakota levy of 2013 didn’t pass by just 1% because people all of a sudden wanted to raise taxes on themselves. It was because a large portion of the resistance who was working with me wanted to play nice with the other side, so the no vote side was less inclined to show up to vote on election night. It was a simple numbers game, it was my job to evoke people’s passions to get them to the polls, even if I had to call people names. The Lakota levy didn’t pass because of anything Kathy did, but because of what the tax fighters didn’t do. She only benefited, and we had that talk personally. People are often surprised when they meet me that I’m actually a very nice person, not some crazed lunatic. But clearly after that night where she and George Lang debated her behavior changed as did that of her supporters. Sure you can still see a sign for her here and there but the energy had gone out of her campaign. Her premise from the beginning was wrong, she was a moderate running in a conservative area as a Democrat. She was a woman running against a white man and Democrats thought that was enough. Her levy supporting friends at Lakota had been treating her as a celebrity since 2013 for a levy victory when in fact it wasn’t anything they did to secure a victory, other than convince my supporters to play nice and reunite the community under the flag of Lakota. George Lang in the debate had done well with her and after the depth of just how hard it was going to be to win the 52nd District seemed to have dawned on her. And now with just a few weeks ahead of the election the money was hard to come by to renew her billboard until the election. Now it’s gone leaving only a tattered empty place with peeling paper in its place and every time I see it now I think of how it is a good metaphor for the Democrat Party.

Recently Vennessa Enoch caught me in a parking lot asking for my vote. She was a nice black woman running as a Democrat against Warren Davidson, and she obviously didn’t know who I was. Of course I was polite to her but she could see by my face that it was a mistake to hand me any campaign literature. She seemed like a nice enough lady but it was clear she didn’t know the game she was playing. The Democrats in Southern Ohio and up into counties past Columbus really thought that women were so stupid as to vote as a collective association—that girl power was a viable political strategy. Since Trump had been elected Democrats continued to think that they’d split up the women vote by offering women as candidates, such as Vennessa Enoch and Kathy Wyenandt. I don’t think Vennessa had been told by her Democratic friends that people weren’t going to like her just because society said they had to like a black woman. That voting for a person for congress in Warren Davidson’s district was going to take a lot more than that. We weren’t so stupid to vote for a liberal just because they were women or black. Those are not traits that effectively win elections, they never have been and they certainly aren’t now. Women love Trump and they specifically like the kind of Republican Party that is forming under the Trump umbrella. For examples just go to Instagram and do a search for Babes for Trump or God Guns and Freedom and you’ll see what I mean. A new kind of sexual expression is taking place where suddenly its cool for women to wear bikinis and use their bodies as billboards for Trump and Republicanism in general. Women were not doing this for John McCain, Mit Romney, or George Bush, this is a very new thing and it comes as a byproduct of having a winning approach to elections in general. There are a lot of women who love the kind of men that are emerging from the Trump administration and the Democrats are not on that wagon.

I noticed a tremendous difference in Republican attitudes at a recent event at Premier Shooting and Training where they had a Second Amendment celebration night there. For one, it was unusual to have all those top-level Republicans in the same place at the same time where fundraising wasn’t the primary objective. Some of the guys there had been around for a while, but there was something very different about them now that Trump was the head of the Republican Party. There was a swagger present that I hadn’t seen before in all the many years that I had been doing these kinds of things. Back at that Lakota levy period that Kathy Wyenandt was so proud of we had a meeting after the third attempt that went down in flames in the fall of 2011 that we should lighten up, that we had too much Tea Party in our No Lakota Levy campaign. Of course, everyone knew I wanted to punch harder than we had been. The district was not respecting voters with continued attempts at a tax increase. My friends who were all top Republicans in Butler County wanted to mend fences for the sake of business. Back then the leader of the Republican Party in Butler County was John Boehner and he was a very moderate Republican who wanted to play by the rules that Democrats established. I tried to tell them what was coming, but nobody wanted to hear it then, and only now are they seeing it. The energy that put people into voting for key elections was swagger, and confidence—not compromise and conciliation.

As I watched Republicans rejoice at a hard-fought victory over the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation I could see that finally what I had been saying for years was starting to really sink in. Trump’s election and the results of success that have followed have won over most of the key Republicans I knew in Ohio. They had adopted to this new leader of the Republican Party and were seeing success. Meanwhile Democrats were still playing an old game of identity politics that only appealed to a small minority of voters. People hadn’t voted for Hillary Clinton just because she was a woman and they weren’t going to vote for Kathy Wyenandt just because she was attractive and pleasant. Republicans for the first time in their lives could go on Instagram and see lots of mostly naked Republican women in red white and blue bikinis hold guns and Bibles all too happy to show their support for President Trump and its that kind of energy that wins elections. People over politics or some other socialist message isn’t going to work. The world had changed and Democrats were too stupid to see it. That is the reason they threw everything they had at Brett Kavanaugh and why with only a few weeks left to close the deal their campaigns in local races like the ones in Southern Ohio are running out of gas—because they didn’t understand the situation they were getting into.

Republicans should win most of their races easily around the country. There will be some surprises here and there but in essence if Republican voters show up and vote, they will easily outnumber the Democrats. There just aren’t that many Democrats, they are a minority party with a sloppy message of old socialism that only lazy people like. The new Trump Republicans are much cooler all of a sudden and if that energy fuels voter turnout, Republicans will gain seats in the House and Senate, not lose them. And I predict that there will be many more billboards going vacant for Democrat candidates in the near future. They didn’t learn from the mistakes of the past even when the evidence was quite clear. I could tell in my conversations with Kathy and Venessa that nobody on their side had talked to them the way I was which isn’t good. It’s not that I was mean or anything, but just to frame the situation they were stepping into, obviously nobody had done that for them. Because the Democrats thought all they needed was women to vote against men and their ticket to the future would be punched. What they didn’t calculate was that there were many, many women more than willing to take off their clothes and use their bodies for billboards for Trump’s Republicans and that would prove to be the deciding factor for the upcoming midterms. And it wasn’t crusty old men providing that energy, it was women, young and vivacious and looking for winners. And those winners are not in the Democratic Party, that’s for sure.

This is What Winning Looks Like: Now we need more of it on Election Day

What an astonishing display that was. When it was clear that the senate had the votes to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, the way that the political left acted really all during the hearings, but especially right after was astonishing. That is what a minority that has been fluffing their feathers like a peacock to appear much larger looks like when their bluff is called. I would advise all Republicans in the future to do what Judge Kavanaugh had to do in those hearing, and that was to get a little mad and nasty, because it is the only language the other side understands, which is why they keep saying that he shouldn’t have done it. “Judicial temperament” my ass, they want a punching bag in Republicans that they can easily beat, which is what they have had all this time.

It allowed them as a minority party to appear to be an equal contender. But God bless Donald J. Trump for calling them out on it and for bringing to politics an honesty that has never been there before. If not for Donald J. Trump leading the charge in support for Brett Kavanaugh, we still wouldn’t have a judge on the Supreme Court. When the political left, or anybody for that matter, tries to convince us that Brett Kavanaugh should have sat there and taken the unsanctioned role that was trying to be placed upon him—that he was a sexual predator—what you are hearing are villains attempting a hostile take over of our country and their screams of anguish once they have failed.

I would point out several revelations that were made over the last month by Democrats, which I have been saying and the evidence is just now catching up—they are losing as a party. They are on the verge of complete collapse. It’s not enough to say that they are morally and financially bankrupt, they are losing their support everywhere. They have no ideas, they have no smart candidates, and they have no appeal. All they have are these protests where they threaten violence if nobody listens to them, or in cornering senators in elevators in an attempt to push them with force into an altered way of thinking. Talk about bullies, the Democrats are everything the proclaim to protect us from. They are the ultimate mob boss that charges you for protection—protection from them. But when people stop fearing them they have no way to understand what to do because everything about them is in their ability to control the message by threatening fear to impose their will, and that just isn’t how our “republic” was designed to function.

Essentially what we are seeing are a bunch of uneducated people in Democrats who think that America is a democracy ruled by majorities of protestors as opposed to the reason of representatives who vote on behalf of their constituents. That’s why they attacked Susan Collins in the hallway and into the elevator, to terrify her by force into voting in ways that her constituents back home would find repulsive. Then when it didn’t work they threw a fit like a bunch of spoiled brat kids. This behavior to Democrats is how policy is made, it is how they think a country should be run, and it has never been exposed in a rawer way than during the Brett Kavanaugh hearings.

I think I said it on a radio show before Donald Trump was elected that the Democratic Party was on their last leg, which sounded outrageous in 2016 as Trump was climbing toward the Republican nomination. But his way of attacking them whenever attacked has worked, and it has led the Republican Party to a place now that it has never been since before Teddy Roosevelt was in office at the turn of the last century. Most Americans are conservative leaning people but they let Democrats protest and insult their way into power, but that power was always on wet paper and could easily be destroyed. But it took a personality like Donald Trump to finally win the White House and show other Republicans how to conduct themselves defensively. Brett Kavanaugh is very much a product of the Trump era, nobody in their right mind would expect him to sit there and take what the Democrats were giving him. If he did take it then he would have sanctioned an evil that the Democrats were trying to place on him, that he was a sexual predator. Yet Democrats have been the party of sexual predators. This same trick they have tried to apply to conservatives, that they are racists, or that they have some relationship to Hitler—when all along it was they who were both. For so many years conservatives have been lulled into believing they should turn the other cheek and that was when Democrats just cut off their heads, metaphorically speaking. And that blood sport has fueled funding and election wins for Democrats because it appeared to be a winning strategy.

But nobody has won like Trump has, with everything they have thrown at him the economy is doing very well, unemployment is at a record low, there is nothing to the multiple investigations into his life that anybody has been able to exploit and even after sticking his name next to Brett Kavanaugh during the worst of the hearings Trump’s approval rating shot up to 51%. In every conceivable way the Democrats and liberalism in general has failed miserably. So yeah, it felt very good to see Brett Kavanaugh confirmed to the Supreme Court. It was one of the most exciting days that I’ve ever watched in politics. It was wildly fulfilling, in similar ways that it felt good to watch Trump win the presidency on that famous night.

But I’d say dear reader that the upcoming election has the potential to feel even better. Imagine the day after the election where Democrats had to look down the long barrel of future history and see that they had no place in it. When it would be obvious to everyone that they didn’t even have a role in American politics because what they stood for were not ideas that are conducive to Americans? Democrats are moving as they have for a long time, toward socialism and outright Chinese communism. That was their plan from the beginning and what they wanted in America, even up until yesterday before the vote of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court was a 1949 revolution like what happened in China. Only to have that they would have to shame Republicans into the corners of their offices hiding from the world as they were called all types of nasty names such as “Nazis” or “sexual predators” and that white males were supposed to shut up and get out-of-the-way of women who were going to take over all politics and businesses because someone looked at their boobies.

https://twitter.com/overmanwarrior/status/1048755730461937664

As conservatives we were supposed to accept this bizarre reality and sanction their power grab through guilt that was not our own. Yet we held together and Brett Kavanaugh was confirmed to the Supreme Court anyway, just as Trump has held strong and continued to get wins for America that would not be possible by any other kind of president. Yes, this is what it looks like to be winning. But it’s not over yet, Republicans must vote on election day and show up in force to speak their mind. It’s about time that Democrats realize that they can’t scream and shame their way into power. They have to win elections the right way, and that is what is getting ready to really hit them in the face. But it’s up to us to make that happen and to have the resolve to put the dagger through their hearts. It’s time.

A Gun Trick to Save Schools: Vote No on the Butler County Safety Levy

It had been a busy week this past week and I had the opportunity to spend time with a lot of very smart people to get their thoughts on various challenges that are percolating in our community and across the nation. And all this thoughtful discussion pointed to the central issue as proposed by the current White House to deal with school shootings, and gun violence in general—to expand armed citizens to deal with any crises much sooner than presently is happening, especially in schools. This put me in a unique spot to frame the discussion in a way that demonstrated what the opposition most feared about guns and gun safety especially as a kind of first responder. Typically, when I want to talk about precision as a metaphor for something broader I crack out a candle with one of my bullwhips to show people that what seems like an impossible probability was in fact quite doable, and the best option available. Since I’ve been doing the bullwhip work for many years it has been my primary utilization tool to articulate the abstract. However, because specifically the issues over guns and the Second Amendment being properly implemented to solve the school shootings problem and gun violence in general I decided to take another sport that I am involved in and to take those skills and modify my candle snuffing techniques. I’ve been doing Cowboy Fast Draw for several years now and have been doing some trick shooting with those techniques so it was only appropriate to apply those abilities to discuss why it is preferred to have teachers armed in public schools to deal with unwanted gun violence as it occurs at the point of the threat.

One of those events where many smart people were present this past week was the 52nd District debate for the Ohio House seat that George Lang currently holds. I was pretty stunned that George’s opponent didn’t even know about the Butler County Safety Levy that was on the ballot, especially because the 52nd seat has school districts affected by it. Essentially five of the ten schools in Butler County, Fairfield, Hamilton, New Miami, Edgewood, and Monroe are seeking a 10-year 1.5 mill levy, which is $53 per every $100,000 dollars of property evaluation to avoid arming teachers and instead hiring guidance counselors, more safety personnel, and mental health specialists. It surprised me that Kathy Wyenandt didn’t know about the levy since that was the entire scope of her campaign against George Lang—school funding. She was the one who in 2013 ran the Lakota levy campaign which only passed by 1% of the vote and she was making that issue her entire calling card to running for the 52nd district. Yet when the panel of questioners asked her about the Butler County Safety Levy she had to say she’d do some research. George Lang however gave a really good answer which can be seen by CLICKING HERE. Essentially, he reminded me of the story of the Sandy Hook principal who engaged Adam Lanza armed with nothing but a shoe during that school massacre. She died but likely saved many other people. If that principal had a gun, she’d likely be alive today and many more people would have been saved.

Every time there is a story of one of these mass shootings there always seems to be someone willing to charge the gunman to put an end to it. Even with school security officers, like what was employed at Parkland in Florida, or even security and police at the Las Vegas massacre, there have been trained armed personnel nearby to stop the shooter but not everyone is so bold as that principal from Sandy Hook. Sometimes it’s not enough to just be paid to put your life in danger—you often can’t buy heroics. It is typically a natural trait in people and it only comes out under duress. Sometimes safety personnel that we hire to guard schools find that when the bullets start flying they aren’t so brave and they hesitate to engage the target. But impassioned teachers, which there always seems to be a percentage of them in every school, those are the people who should have guns and be the first to meet a threat when they are presented. Principals and teachers like the lady at Sandy Hook are those who should be carrying guns and using those tools when danger presents itself.

That is what we are talking about in Butler County, Ohio and all the way up to the Trump administration in the White House. Impassioned teachers who are the type of people to throw themselves in front of bullets are the people we should pay a little more to be responsible gun carriers. The concealed carry class is a good beginning, but we are talking about making shooting part of their lifestyle so they know how to use a gun under duress as a second nature. That kind of thing isn’t for everyone, but for people who do adopt that type of lifestyle carrying a firearm is a very life enhancing endeavor. But there is no question that the best way to deal with gun violence is to have good people with a gun to be the first to stop bad people with a gun. The Butler County Safety Levy doesn’t deal with that aspect of gun violence, it is only focused on the aftermath. It is a cowardly way for school boards to approach the problem since most educators are functioning under the opinion that schools should be gun free zones, such an assumption isn’t conducive to reality. Luckily in my school district of Lakota we have a few conservative school board members who get it, and they opted out of the Butler County Safety Levy.

The other incident I was speaking of was a Second Amendment Celebration (CLICK HERE FOR REVIEW) at the Premier Shooting and Training facility in West Chester. Big name politicians like Jim Renacci and Warren Davidson flew in from Washington D.C. to be a part of the event which evolved into a kind of NRA rally. It wasn’t a huge gathering, but the people there were all passionate about the Second Amendment. One thing that I noticed was that there wasn’t a bunch of security, there were no metal detectors or safety people sweeping people down like you might expect when big name people who typically get a lot of security in public are walking around mingling. That was because almost everyone there was armed with a concealed carry. There were probably more guns there than in any public place in Southern Ohio at that time, and as a result it was one of the safest places to be. Nobody had to worry about being gunned down, because all the people there were responsible gun carriers.

One of the people there who spoke to the public about specifically the Butler County Safety Levy was Sheriff Jones who has been against the money grab and has worked with the Trump administration to implement arming teachers to immediately solve the gun violence situation in soft target regions like public schools. As the lead law enforcement officer from our county there and certainly the head cop at that event, you didn’t see him panicking about all the guns that were freely being carried by so many people. It didn’t concern him a bit, because gun ownership tends to bring responsibility out in people. That’s why you never hear about gunmen attacking people at NRA conventions and gun shows. Having more guns in public makes a much safer society and Sheriff Jones understands that. But I did feel for him a bit when he spoke about being the lone voice in Butler County speaking out against the ridiculous safety levy. It was quite clear that the media and the schools were hoping to keep the issue away from voter’s minds so that when they did show up to vote they wouldn’t understand what the vote was. There hasn’t been much press on it in spite of Sheriff Jones calling out school districts on billboards for not adopting gun carry proposals before someone does get hurt. If the levy passes, school boards in Butler County will feed off that and not act, and will waste money on more personnel that they don’t need. The schools will still be soft targets and in danger, and taxes will go up. If the levy fails however, school boards will have to adopt a policy of letting teachers arm themselves to protect kids as a first responder in the classrooms and in the halls of our schools.

I understand its easy for me to say, I’ve had guns in my life all my life. Everyone I knew as a kid had them, and it was just something you learned growing up, all men knew something about guns. Learning to use them was a rite of passage into adulthood. To preserve that way of life I have been involved in Western Arts most of my life, certainly all of my adult life, so I have a lot of experience to draw from, as opposed to timid people who grew up with a liberal view of the world who simply are terrified of them. But being terrified isn’t an excuse for not acting. And being terrified isn’t an excuse to raise taxes either, just to say later that a school had additional safety people available to deal with a school shooting. We actually want to stop the violence before it happens and that means that not even calling the police will stop such a thing. The best way to stop a school shooter is to have a teacher in every hallway in every school there to engage a threat. And it should be the most impassioned teachers, people like that principal who threw herself at Adam Lanza. But we should not ask such teachers to throw away their lives to save other lives, we should give them the tools to walk away from the experience and that is what arming teachers in public schools is all about—making sure the right people walk away from the danger and ending the situation in seconds, not minutes.
