A Commentary on Will Hayden’s Life Sentence: A good workbench is far better than sex

Every day I have a little place on my property where I can go at the end of the day and shoot my .45 Vaquero.  I wish every person in the world could have that wonderful feeling of standing at a very nice work bench surrounded by lots of unique tools and sip on an ice-cold water with the smell of gun smoke fresh from a good score on an automated reaction timer that I use to practice Cowboy Fast Draw.  I think it’s one of the most satisfying things you can do as a human being for so many reasons.  And I know many people in the gun industry that understand what I just said exactly within the shooting sports professions.  Guns are a mix of precision machining, ballistic science, and a practice which is rooted in psychological freedom from a societal tendency to strive for personal freedom for which the individual ownership of firearms most spectacularly embodies.  So it is baffling to me why someone like a Will Hayden would even think about doing what he did as a serial rapist to young girls over a long period of time.  Yesterday the founder of Red Jacket Firearms and star of the Discovery Channel’s Son’s of Guns television show about gunsmithing in southern Louisiana, was sentenced to life in prison for what he did, and it’s just a terribly sad situation.

I loved the Son’s of Guns show and I thought the people in it were just fabulous.  Looking back on it there was always something I didn’t quite trust in Hayden, but I loved Joe and though Flem among others who were incredibly talented people who were in the business for the right reasons.  That last season I turned to my wife and told her that something was really wrong because after all the success Red Jacket had with their television show, there was no way that Hayden should have been hemorrhaging that much cash where he struggled to pay for his machining lathes and a new facility.  His kids Stephanie and Chris were acting strange too attempting to start their own business under the Red Jacket umbrella and it just didn’t make sense—because they all had a good thing going.  Now we know that there were things going on regarding this problem of raping young girls that Hayden was engaged in and now that the case is concluded it has left me and many millions of others scratching our heads.

I’m currently the same age now that Hayden was in the best seasons of that show and I just can’t imagine any situation where a man in his late forties would even want to engage in sex with a 13-year-old girl.  It just doesn’t make any psychological sense.  I mean biologically the impulse to those kinds of things shouldn’t even be there.  As a man you have so many young ladies in your life who depend on you, daughters, employees, members of an audience who see you as a celebrity—to rape a young girl or even to think of her in a sexual way is just pathetic, and irresponsible. So I’m happy he’s going to do such hard time for the rest of his life.  I’m a big fan of ruthless sentencing and I don’t care if we have entire states full of inmates in our prison system.  I loved Jeff Sessions’s announcement yesterday reversing the policies of Eric Holder.  If there are bad guys out there doing bad things, let’s get them locked up and figure out a way for them to pay for their food and shelter aside from tax payer burdens—but they shouldn’t be free.  And for what Hayden did, he should be locked up.  You just can’t ruin the lives of young ladies and expect to live a free life—just like a criminal cannot take anything from us individually at our homes or within the private sanctity of our cars without being shot dead in defense.  All these issues fall under the umbrella of personal respect and being a great gunsmith, Will Hayden should have known better.

Little girls look to older men to protect them.  When a 3 to 10-year-old girl sits in the lap of a grandpa, or even a father they need that reassurance that they are within the protection of a powerful male and it will establish in her a lifelong trust that she actually needs to live a full and happy, healthy life.  So no man should ever do anything to jeopardize that trust.  A sexual thought should never even enter into your mind and if it means it harms your sexual life with a wife or otherwise because you have turned off those desires—then so be it.  There are many better things in life to think about besides sex.  It can be a fun thing to do, but it’s a pretty primitive and messy act that is overrated in my opinion—if your mind is conducting itself properly on other activities. In Hayden’s case, he had this beautiful gun shop with all the great tools of the trade and he was being paid to do what he loves.  He was on television and was very successful meaning he could then buy more guns to play with and everything should have been perfect. So in light of all that, what he did was reprehensible and goes far beyond the crimes of our legal system—he violated much more than that, he broke the trust of young women including his older daughter Stephanie and that is the worst of it.  Losing the trust of young women and giving them the burden of shame to carry throughout their lives is one of the worst crimes a man can do toward any emerging women.

Then there are the political consequences.  Already there are those communist insurgents within American culture who look for anything to wear away the gun centered lifestyles that the best of us have in the freest country on earth.  Will Hayden just fit the stereotype of the target they present, a powerful middle-aged white guy from the south who loves guns and abusing women just put the Discovery Channel in a public relations nightmare and he hurt the gun industry in incomprehensible ways.  I mean how could he of even thought it was worth all this damage to have some primitive sexual encounter with an unwilling victim who was only a child?  You have tool boxes filled with some of the greatest tools in the world and gun oil filling the smell of your office with leather holsters always lying around—why?  It’s just irrevocably stupid.

Most of the people I know in the gun professions, at shooting ranges, within the NRA and elsewhere are like Joe and Flem from that Son’s of Guns show—they are guys who are fascinated by great machining with intensely tight mechanical tolerances and the science of ballistics which is really what most young boys love about toy guns, and eventually real guns.  It’s not in the ability to shoot someone dead like the political left likes to portray—it’s in the working of tools, the smell of gun oils and the power of science in your hand that makes the gun industry one of the most important industries on planet earth.  Speaking for myself, my work bench on a rainy Friday night with the garage door open and bullets all over the place while listening to a recap of the Rush Limbaugh show sitting on my bench stool working with a couple of pin punches from my gunsmith tool box is about as good as anything ever gets in life.  I really can’t think of anything that I have ever done that gave me a better feeling.  When you’re young and biologically your body is looking to plant seeds in some woman for the primitive act of procreation—I can see being distracted by sex.  I’ve been married for almost 30 years to an attractive woman.  We’ve traveled the world and done things together that most people dream of in their wildest fantasies.  But I’m telling you dear reader that at nearly 50 years old, working on guns at a nice bench on a Friday night next to a talk radio broadcast sipping on a chilled drink is one of the best things you can do.  Will Hayden had really everything a man could dream of.  And he blew it spectacularly and made an ass of himself that brought great harm to the women in his life.  So I’m glad he’s serving hard time for the rest of his life.  He deserves worse.  Under no circumstance should a man ever trade the workbench for sex—especially for a girl a generation younger even if it’s legal and inviting.  It’s just not something any older man should ever do—for the sake of humanity.

Bill Maher and Stephen Colbert Can’t Make it in the Real World: Understanding the nature of American culture and Donald Trump

This tendency of media personalities to think that by ankle biting at a president that they are protected behind some invisible barrier of orthodox is truly baffling. I didn’t think that when Obama called out people who got on his nerves like Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity in the past that it was wrong, and I certainly don’t think it’s wrong for Trump to call out losers like Stephen Colbert.  What makes Trump unique is that he is a president that does not desire to function behind some veil of formality.  To him the presidency is just a job—it doesn’t make him as a person.  Yet many like Colbert and his audience and the type of people who voted for Barack Obama in the past, want the presidency to be royalty in America and that’s just not the way we intended the position to be.  I like the idea of a Thomas Jefferson who would answer the front door to the White House in his bath robe personally, or a Teddy Roosevelt who would swim nude in the Potomac.  I’m not at all enchanted by the luxury of the White House so I don’t see that the presidency is above the ankle biters out there like Stephen Colbert who nightly rip on the new administration hoping to return American back toward the direction of progressivism.   I like a president who is willing to fight anybody at any time under any circumstances—so I love that Trump takes on losers like Colbert the way he does.

Few people really know it, but some of these late-night comedians who are most against Trump, such as Bill Maher and Jon Stewart, are little guys. TV makes them look bigger but in real life walking around the great American Midwest these guys would easily get their asses kicked by average sized pick-up truck driving, tobacco chewers who make up most of the green space between America’s cities—and it scares them. Bill Maher knows that he can’t walk into a Waffle House at 4 AM in Tennessee and run his mouth without becoming a hood ornament.  I mean the guy is only like 5’8” and Jon Stewart is even shorter than that.  So these guys are truly afraid of those bulky white males who still dominate American politics.  They have kiss assed their way onto television and now take pot shots at the American way of life for laughs from behind the protection of celebrity—and many of us are sick of it.  They are partly why someone like Trump was elected—because we—the people who have lived in and made America what it has been—which we like—we are tired of these puny little punks, communists, lunatic feminists and many others of having a foothold under the banner of “fairness” only to have them ankle bite at us and not expect to be punched back.

We get tired of being called “white trash” or “rich white males of privilege” and all that crazy European talk about class structure which has been specific to life in the aristocratic age. That is not the way of life in America.  In this country, we like a guy who was born in Queens who gambled big with some loan his father gave him and worked hard as hell to become a billionaire—and along the way took no shit from anybody and is even in the WWE Hall of Fame—as well as eventually becoming president.  We like a guy or girl who can be born anywhere with any family name and become rich if they are willing to work hard enough.  We know that not everyone makes it but we like having that dream of opportunity to aspire to each day.  That is what America is and what people like that shrimp Bill Maher fail to understand.  Stephen Colbert—a satire guy from Comedy Central who made his living making fun of Bill O’Reilly isn’t what people who eat at Lee’s Chicken in Trenton, Ohio aspire to become.  But Trump is.  So we love it when someone we like slams some puny punk like Colbert on television.  Trump is right, it helps his base tremendously. What Colbert and Maher are doing is just mean-spirited propaganda which is very unlike what the conservative critics of Obama were doing.

Sean Hannity has put the screws to liberals for years and before him it was Rush Limbaugh both of which have been viciously attacked over just because they offer an intellectual argument against liberalism. Barack Obama naturally didn’t like it and as president he abused his power on many occasions to put an end to them if he could.  Obama actually used the White House to try and crush them through regulation, media pressure, and advertiser boycotts—not directly of course, but indirectly—through other people, donors, and media types.  And even if you are one of the stupid people who did vote for Obama, anybody with half a brain would have to admit the guy was very shady.  Scandal followed him everywhere and that wasn’t the fault of Republicans who were always there to point it out.  The scandals were so intense that he essentially destroyed the Democratic Party because congressman lost their seats, senators were voted out of office and Republicans replaced Democrats as governors all over the country.  And of course there was the 2016 election where Republicans retook the White House.  Trump ran a good campaign, but it was essentially that Democrats who had nobody competitive to put up as a sequel to Obama who lost the election, and they knew it.   Out of all the talent they supposedly had on the liberal side of the ball from George Clooney the actor to Warren Buffett, they only managed to put up a beat up old woman in Hillary Clinton chained to countless crimes and they lost the election because of that decision.  Their failure was complete with the rise of Trump.

They continue to lose because they got caught trying to take America away from the population that built it. There is nothing wrong with having an inclusive culture where people of all different nationalities and sexes can succeed together, but Democrats are out to destroy “white males” and that is something many take very personally.  I know I do.  When these various liberal groups come out openly for my destruction—yeah, I get a little angry about it.  So when Trump pushes back on my behalf, he certainly wins my support.  If people like Colbert and Maher had kept their mouths shut, it might not have been so bad.  But they pressed and pressed and pressed until people had enough, and Trump was the result—and they better get used to it.

The next step of course is that if we don’t have Trump as a recourse, then things might have to get nasty. They can only stand on the stage for so long hidden behind television security before people start giving it back to them worse than they have.  I think in many ways they should be thankful that they live in a nation where we have elections instead of armed insurrections because little midgets like those guys wouldn’t last long.  It’s easy to talk tough on a stage in front of a friendly audience in New York and L.A.  But it’s quite another to sit next to truck drivers, strippers, and hard luck old farmers at Waffle House at 4 AM and tell them you have big plans for their lives that were formulated by the United Nations two decades ago.  Because those people will beat the shit out of you and feed you to the dog.  That is the real America and I love it!

House Bill 330 in North Carolina: Thankfully now protestors can be hit with your car

House Bill 330 in North Carolina approved by their house 67-48 is the proper response to what happened in Charlotte in 2016 where protesters blocked traffic across their highways regarding a civil matter.  The bill protects motorists who hit protesters with their cars so long as the drivers “exercise due care,” which seems reasonable enough.  It is the proper response toward disarming the radical notions that collectivist groups have in pulling innocent people into their black holes of insurrection through mass effort and it’s good that North Carolina is taking the side of the individual in this matter—as they should. Nobody should be allowed to even contemplate that by throwing their bodies into a roadway that they can stop the economic engine of a nation because the nature of these corrosive protests is at their very core—anti-American.  Under that statement for instance my time is worth more than the collective concerns of a mob—and that is the clear distinction protected by this North Carolina House Bill 330.

Protests are not the foundations of “our democracy.” Of course opponents to this bill will say so much because they fail to understand the root of the problem.  First of all, America is a republic, not a “democracy” so by protesting, what these types of people are hoping to do is tip the scales of justice toward the “squeaky wheel.”  That is essentially unfair under the terms of a republic because the essential ingredient that is abused is “time.”  Socialist protesters tend to have more time on their hands than a productive individual who is working hard, taking care of their families and is managing each hour of their day week after week as a good lawful citizen.  These protesters tend to be communist sympathizers, dope smokers, and social anarchists who thrive in life by wasting time.  They are often jobless, or work in occupations where nobody misses them making them disposable in regard to productivity and by coming together in mass—they hope to increase their value over the good and productive members of our republic with terrifying force—and that’s just wrong.

Time is what we are protecting here. I can’t think of anything more valuable—and our automobiles are our representatives to our time.   If I want to get from my home in Charlotte to the downtown region to buy tickets to an upcoming concert, that action has more value than the protesters who might seek to block the highway over a civil matter because in the protesters case, they are electing to waste their time with a collective show of force whereas the individual seeking tickets is perpetuating our economy and culture through individual decisions rooted in wealth building exercises for which entire industries are created. In that regard, the driver of a car on a lonely highway has much more value than a mass heap of socialist losers standing in a highway to stop traffic and leverage the law in their favor through force—or the threat of it.  Such people cannot be allowed to “stop our economy.”  Civil recourse is for the courts, not a protester on our nation’s highways.

So when one finds themselves caught in a situation where a line of anti-American protesters are blocking your car, and hitting it with their hands causing damage to your private property you should have the right and ability to escape that situation because your time is more valuable than that of the protesters, and if they get run over in the process—that is their misfortune, not yours. Your time and property have a value greater than that of the protester because such acts of aggression is a threat to the fundamental necessity of time management under a capitalist society and an abuse of power by attempting to tip the scales of justice toward mob rule through threats of violence for which the individual has no protected legal recourse.

A lack of protections from individuals with either guns or cars is the reason that these communist insurgents in many municipalities across the nation are able to conduct such vile road closures even in this modern age. No human being in possession of a one ton vehicle should have to yield to a bunch of anti-capitalists threatening to damage their property or alter their time management, because personal time is every bit as important as private property.  As productive citizens, our time is more important than the collective needs of the worthless.   Even if that time is to meet somebody across town for a tryst with another human being for the intention of sheer pleasure, it is more important than the efforts of the many in tipping the scales of justice with the threat of force.  The time of a productive person is more valuable than the wasted time of the unproductive—the loser who has nowhere to go but sip coffee at Starbucks and bitch about the capitalist nature of America.

It has been proven time and again that behind most of the protestor groups across America is the communist party either in heavy degrees or lighter degrees of campus socialism. We’re not talking about American loving citizens of excellent value—we’re talking about losers. Losers defined by their dependence on government programs, on their contributions toward economic expansion, and their decisions to waste the time that God gave them on meaningless social anarchy as if they were equal to those who work hard and squeeze all they can out of life from moment to moment—from reading a book with their kids to ensuring that their spouses are “satisfied” in marital activity.  The ability to conduct a good modern life productively requires individuals to use a car effectively—and not to be stopped needlessly in their efforts.  That is why this house bill in North Carolina is such a big deal.  It legally protects the drivers of those cars from the legal overreach of the mobs who have lately sought to block roads to acquire social benefits outside the scope of the law.

How we handle and define ourselves in times of turbulence will decide whether or not we thrive as a society or prosper. To prosper we need to protect the rights of individuals to excel in life and understand that it is the few that do most of the heavy lifting in farthing society.  In the same way that a single sperm penetrates the egg of a woman for life to begin a single individual may unlock the next great invention of human evolution.  The masses do not do such things naturally, and our society is reflected on the basis of our own human life cycles—so our laws must also reflect these basic understandings.  We must protect the time of individuals because its valuable over the wasted time of collectivists who hide their fears and insecurities behind the masses.  Thankfully, the North Carolina legislature understands these basic concepts, and they have acted accordingly.  Bravo.

Mystic Timber at Kings Island: A cross between Indiana Jones and a John Carpenter horror story

These are my favorite kinds of topics, the fun things that we can do to alleviate ourselves naturally from the toils of life where everything we sometimes do seems like an uphill battle deliberately made so to prevent our very existence.  It had been one of those nights even over the weekend where professionally I had been up all night working through a number of problems and sleep was scarcely an option until the next day.  But by noon after 36 straight hours of worry Saturday afternoon opened up and I had a rare moment of fresh air where I could breathe without concern as all the objectives had been met.  It’s not like that all the time but when those types of things do happen you just have to wrestle the issues to the ground until you get through it.  So feeling totally depleted and in need of a full charge physically and intellectually my wife and I did what usually comes first for us during the summer months—we went to Kings Island, this time to specifically ride the new roller coaster they have called Mystic Timbers.

I had been trying to get to Kings Island for weeks but the time just wasn’t there, until this particular weekend.  And it was the perfect thing because I had been curious about Mystic Timbers since I watched the press conference last fall from the public relations crew which I must say have been doing a fabulous job over the last several years at advancing the amusement park.  I consider Kings Island a real treasure for our area and feel very fortunate that I have something that nice so close to my home.  I think people have a tendency to take something like that for granted because they are used to it.  Well, let me just say, I was in Paris just a few weeks ago at the Eiffel Tower there and having some leisure time by the carousel they have between the tower and the river and it’s nowhere near as nice or dramatic as the one at Kings Island.  The one in France may be three times taller, but at Kings Island the little fantasy town on International Blvd along the fountain is better than anything in Europe.  It’s cleaner and much more optimistic so the moment I set foot in that region for the first time in 2017 after doing so for over 40 years now, it reminded me that sometimes the best things in life are right down the road.  Kings Island is a better tourist destination than traveling to Paris—forget the history, region for region, Kings Island is simply a better place where you can relax without worrying about nonsense.

Rivertown at Kings Island has always been my favorite part of the park; I like the dynamic relationship between the log ride, the train, the trees, the little creeks and lakes that span down to the great Beast roller coaster in the back of the park. It was originally supposed to be a kind of frontier town similar to what they did at Disney World but has evolved into its own thing over time and I like to go there to get fries at the Great Potato Works.  In recent years Kings Island has added the Diamondback roller coaster which I still think is one of the best in the world—its such an unusually good ride and covers so much real estate, if that’s all they had it would still be fabulous.  I mean in London—one of the great cities of the world—they have Chessington World Adventures which is England’s version of an amusement park and its nothing like Kings Island specifically at Rivertown.  Even though I’ve been going to that particular part of the park almost my entire life, I still enjoy it each time so when they built a new roller coaster within it I was very curious.

Much to my surprise the Mystic Timber roller coaster was a significant improvement to the Rivertown area.  The theme of the ride itself actually rivals some of the rides at Universal Studios and Disney World by way of “plot” which is a departure from what is typically done at Midwestern amusement parks.  Mystic Timbers has a story to tell and I’m not going to give away what’s in the shed but it reminded me of an Indiana Jones adventure in a way mixed with a John Carpenter horror film—Christine comes to mind.  The ride itself was something of a mix between The Beast and the Adventure Express.  It’s not a rough roller coaster, kind of a middle of the road ride for people who don’t want to ride something as crazy as the Beast—but it had its own charm and takes you on a nice ride through the woods back to essentially the train shed and back again.  It was well done and really captured the atmosphere of the Kings Mills area with a plot that was very Blair Witch—which is revealed in the illustrious shed.  I thought the ride was a bold move by Cedar Fair Amusements in not just building a roller coaster, but in adding a story to the park as part of its overall mythology.  It was a very good move and took a kind of dead space in Rivertown and really juiced it up.  Now that entire area from the Soak City water park all the way to the pavement of Rivertown is a very dynamic area between the Water Canyon, the train ride, and now Mystic Timber—there’s a lot going on.

In the scope of the entire ride, Kings Island spent some serious money on the “shed” experience which was simply a queue up area where the coaster waits for passengers ahead of it to leave the station.  Instead of putting up with the dead time at the end of the ride these coaster designers gave people something to look at and used that time to add a little thrill as a climax.  For an adult, it’s not much, but for kids 10 years old, it’s pretty freaking cool.  I thought it was a nice touch.  Kings Island didn’t need to add the coast to the coaster by building the shed, but they did it to just take the experience to the next level and by doing so they are stepping into the kind of territory that is normally reserved for the great Orlando parks, and that’s saying something.  I was impressed.

For that day as it often does, Kings Island put some life back into me in a very positive way. It was a wonderful experience that I’m sure I’ll do many more times.  As a stress management tool, Kings Island for me is the best during those nice summer months where you want to get outside, but don’t have the time to invest in a big trip.  There is nothing like actually traveling somewhere to see things in their native environment, but honestly, Kings Island is a treasure compared to anywhere in the world and we are lucky to have it in the Cincinnati area.  It’s good to see that the park management isn’t content to just ride the fence and surrender to the other great parks in the United States but is willing to compete with them for the title of greatest.  Mystic Timber isn’t the greatest roller coaster in the United States—but it’s a pretty good one at a park that is certainly one of the largest with the greatest collection.  But what Mystic Timber does is liven up the character of an amusement park that has been there for a while but is just now starting to break out into its own individuality.  And that was good to see.

The Network Boycott of Donald Trump: Life is going on without them

It was a little astonishing that the television networks of ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN refused to play the political ad from the Trump campaign highlighting the first 100 days accomplishments by the new president.  After all, they didn’t have a problem highlighting every little thing that Barack Obama did.  But Trump isn’t Obama and the networks are seeing the difference already.  They are being exposed for what they always were; liberal outlets designed to promote progressivism and are now discovering that people are willing to turn away from them really for the first time in their history over political ideology.  As everyone now knows ESPN is a dying network owned by the Disney Company and they are losing their conservative viewers due to their extremely liberal on-air positions.  ESPN President John Skipper, a former employee at left-wing Rolling Stone magazine, insisted that the network had little intention of putting on the brakes of its liberalism even in the wake of their viewership exodus saying:

“It is accurate that the Walt Disney Company and ESPN are committed to diversity and inclusion,” Skipper said. “These are long-standing values that drive fundamental fairness while providing us with the widest possible pool of talent to create the smartest and most creative staff. We do not view this as a political stance but as a human stance. We do not think tolerance is the domain of a particular political philosophy.”

Then Ellen DeGeneres said just yesterday that Donald Trump wasn’t welcomed on her show—as if that were going to somehow hurt the feelings of the president—or change what’s happening.  Stephen Cobert—the former Comedy Central liberal who openly has a night show directed at pot smokers unleashed a potty mouthed rant that could only be justified through definitions of insanity—yet CBS allowed it to air anyway which should have provoked attention by the FCC.  If Cobert had been a conservative, he’d be out of a job, but since he’s a liberal like most of the people in entertainment—he gets a free pass.  What we are seeing is unprecedented—the political left is drawing a line in the sand and hoping that we all love them enough to keep watching their programs.  But the evidence is already in that conservatives are finding other alternatives.

What is really scary to the networks is that Trump is actually better at the job of communicating than they even understand in the industry.  George Will the conservative commentator actually quit the Republican Party because he thinks President Trump chews up the English language in an illiterate fashion.  He clearly has taken the side of the liberal networks in thinking that he knows more than Trump does about communicating.   Yet Trump has had great success in entertainment and obviously knows more about communication than even the most seasoned Hollywood actor.  Trump doesn’t just speak, he communicates with his entire body when he gives a speech and people understand him.  He may not articulate the English language in a scholarly fashion, but he communicates better than most anybody in the public eye today and he can do it without an army of advisors and Hollywood producers to help him along.  While Obama used to seek counsel from Steven Spielberg and Jeffery Katzenberg, Trump takes care of things himself and is able to produce a video illustrating his first 100 days without the entertainment industry’s involvement—and it drives them crazy.

It’s in Trump’s independence that has exposed the leftist tendencies of the major networks and now half the country is looking for alternatives.  They are used to making or breaking people and they can’t have an impact on Trump in any way and they don’t know what to do about it except make asses of themselves.  Now they are taking positions they can’t walk back and it will eventually destroy them.  I warned the Disney Company about this years ago, and they didn’t listen.  They insisted on putting little gay characters in their entertainment products and force-fed liberalism into their productions, and their bottom line is going to take a hit.  ABC is owned by Disney so like ESPN they are committed to leftist ideologies which run against the current of modern American politics and they are positioning themselves for extinction.  Trump actually did work on NBC with the hit show The Apprentice and even now after 14 seasons the executives cannot figure out for the life of them why Trump was so much better at that show than some Hollywood actor who gets paid to say what other people think.

What’s even funnier is that the political left thinks that they are going to find their own Hollywood star to run against Trump in 2020.  They are throwing around names like George Clooney, Dwyane Johnson and even Disney’s Bob Iger—but they really don’t understand that it takes more than “celebrity” to win as a president.  Trump didn’t win the presidency because of his celebrity—he won it because he worked harder than anybody else.  Hillary Clinton rolled out the celebrities in her final days and they didn’t help her at all.  The power that the networks and media companies had with their celebrates has evaporated before their eyes and they really don’t know what to do about it which is what I have been saying all along in regard to the value of Donald Trump being president.  There’s not just his skills as a businessman, or the self-reliance of his celebrity—but it’s the presence of a Republican who can simply rob the political left of their stronghold on the media all by himself.  The Democrats don’t have anybody like Trump and with all their resources in Hollywood there isn’t one person who can compete with Trump on the stage in 2020 and they all know it now.  They might have the celebrity, but they don’t have the work ethic or an understanding of all the modes of communication that Trump has naturally.

Trump wasn’t made into a celebrity by others the way that George Clooney was—or any other actor who gets paid to read off a script.  Trump made himself and that is a different kind of political candidate and the failure of the networks to work with this new administration will be their end.  They won’t survive the change in demographic posture combined with the economic burden of the modern cord cutters—the people who have decided that they don’t want or need cable television in their lives.  Ellen and Stephen Cobert can’t afford to cut off half their audience the way they have—yet they have done just that.  And that decision will prove detrimental to them all.  People will still see Trump’s ad about his first 100 days regardless of the participation of the networks in showing it because they don’t have a monopoly any longer on information.  They can’t stop Trump by cutting him off the networks because he can reach many more people through new media.  The only people getting hurt by the network boycott of Trump are the networks.  They can’t survive off only half the country watching their programs.  They can’t appeal only to liberals and hope to lure advertisers to their channels.  Look what happened to Curt Schilling at ESPN.  He represented the kind of man who many of their viewership were themselves, and when they took him down for being a conservative, ESPN lost viewers. I used to love watching ESPN, but since they fired Schilling, I haven’t watched them since—because they didn’t have talent on their programs that spoke and thought the way I do.  So I turned them off and moved on to something else.

There is a lot to feel good about Trump, the stock market is soaring, money is coming back to the American economy and the president is well on his way to becoming simply the best occupant of the White House ever to reside there.  History is already starting to overshadow the cries of the liberal left and that’s where the networks are making a major mistake in not aligning themselves with history.  Rather, they are sticking with their ideology which will be their undoing.  Trump works harder and is good at so many different things that his presidency will be a new defining marker in history.  The old guard is quickly finding themselves on the outside looking in and they know it. Right now they are protesting with defiance, but they are rapidly learning that nobody really cares about them.  Nobody cares about the opinions of The View girls, and nobody cares about Ellen.  Trump is going to be a good president with or without them.  And that is the hard lesson that the world is learning—but I’ve said it all along.  Maybe next time they’ll listen—for those who survive long enough to have a next time.

The Moon Rise of South Korea: Holding back socialists in Asia and the Democratic budget battle

It is a shame we don’t live in a more literate society.  It’s a shame so many school levies passed during the May elections where voter turnout was noticeably lower due to all the nice weather, and it’s a shame that more people don’t understand the strategy regarding the recent budget compromise on Capitol Hill.  Things that are complex in nature require a long view understanding and that is best achieved through literacy—because the process of reading develops in the mind the ability to comprehend layered strategies that exist beyond the immediate gratification most people are accustomed to dealing with.  And this was never more obvious than the situation with North and South Korea and the role that China is playing in a giant international chess game—for which Donald Trump is properly engaged.  Our shallow American media was shocked recently when Trump stated that he wanted South Korea to pick up the 1.2-billion-dollar price tag for the THAAD missile system placed there to protect them from a North Korean attack.  They didn’t report the rest of the story, so here it is.

Shortly South Korea is about to hold an election to replace their disgraced president recently outed over corruption charges and the leader of the pack is a socialist Democrat by the name of Moon Jae-in.  Moon wants to have good open relations with North Korea and China and in his campaign rhetoric is claiming that the “west” is interfering in the peace process of the Korean peninsula.  Of course Americans have forgotten why we fought the Korean War a half century ago, so they really don’t understand the politics.  Heck, most of them probably couldn’t find Korea on a map.  So they certainly can’t understand why America is interested in keeping South Korea protected from communist incursions to the north and to the west with China encouraging all the aggressions.

That is the role that North Korea plays in the region, they are there as communist antagonists to play the “bad cop” in the great negotiations game—while China plays the “good cop.”  Everyone understands that game reading this I hope.  South Korea is the only open market capitalist zone in that region except for Japan just to the east.  Losing Korea to a socialist in the upcoming election who is a global communist supporter would be bad for America as it would solidify the spread of communism. Most American’s think that communism died back in the 90s, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. China, North Korea and Vietnam to the south are all communist zones and are a serious burden on the freedoms enjoyed by capitalist nations like the United States.  Immigrants from those communist countries pour into the United States looking for opportunity while slowly changing the voting patterns from Republican to Democrat.  China understands all this and are currently in a waiting game hoping to crush capitalism in the west while using American markets to bolster their own economy.

When Xi Jinping visited Donald Trump at his Mar-a-Lago resort of course it was a nice meeting, Xi was playing the “good cop” and so was President Trump.  It was all strategy to set the stage for what was happening in the east Asian theater.  China wants South Korea under their flag, America wants to have a capitalist footprint in Asia essentially to protect Japan from further aggressions from their communist rivals across the Sea of Japan.  China supported North Korean aggressions, the United States sent in the THAAD system and several naval aircraft carriers.  Kim Jong-un to push back the Americans threatened nuclear war and resumed missile tests and each time they have done so recently the United States has blasted them out of the sky from space.  As the world beats the drums of war hoping to see hostilities escalate in the region—the media of course supported the communists, while capitalist nations hope America prevails—a silent stand-off has evolved.  North Korea has realized that they can’t launch any missiles anywhere due to American positions and therefore can’t threaten anybody on China’s behalf—which has exposed the communists in favor of Trump.

Now the hope of the entire region is that Moon Jae-in will win in South Korea in a few weeks and that will end the support of American involvement there and return the power of fear back to China while indirectly unifying all of Asia under communism.  They envision such a thing as when China took back Hong Kong from England at the turn of the 20th century and have used it as an “economic zone” under a communist flag.  They plan to do the same thing with South Korea and this Moon guy is receptive to that kind of thinking.

Trump knowing all this has offered to take the edge off by speaking well of China, and offering to talk to Kim Jung-un all the while charging South Korea for the THAAD system throwing bait in the water for Moon to stumble on during his last weeks of campaigning.  It’s really not that hard to understand—but due to the short attention spans of most Americans in the media, they just don’t understand how the pieces connect.  That’s why sites like this one exist, because I do understand and am happy to explain it to you dear reader.  That’s also why I’m not down on the way Trump handled the recent budget compromise with Democrats.  Like the situation in Korea, Trump has to expose the other side with “good cop” dialogue so that they will be the aggressors justifying action.  In the case of South Korea, the hostile action will be a trade war with the new liberal president Moon so that he can’t solidify people behind him toward socialist objectives, but to cut out the feet from under him before he can take roots—which is precisely what the global political left has been trying to do to Trump.  Only in the case of South Korea the leverage is completely in Trump’s hands.  He needed to bolster the military to take care of all the foreign policy issues immediately and without question he hoped to recruit some Democrats to get 60 votes in the senate to go against Schumer for upcoming legislation.  The most pressing issue of course was the military money so that Trump could hold back the villains in Asia, the Middle East and in regard to Russia—which then forced Putin to talk to Trump on the phone about peace plans yesterday.  Without that budget deal, Putin doesn’t participate because the military budget was the leverage he had been holding out for hoping Trump wouldn’t get it.

This is all very easy to understand if you understand The Art of War, the great literary classic on Asian warfare.  The American media certainly doesn’t get it, but some individuals who matter here and there do, and that’s all we really care about. Trump knows what he’s doing.  Results will take care of everything else.  I haven’t seen anything in his behavior that alarms me so long as the long view is taken into consideration.  This Moon guy in South Korea is a Obama type of liberal, so Trump would do well if he could cause the guy to stumble at the finish line of their elections. If not, then Samsung televisions and KIA cars will be facing some very hefty tariffs because the fight is still over the spread of communism and the Marxist ideologues of Asia need those fresh markets of Hong Kong and South Korea to justify themselves as second-handers.  Which is the only reason that Kim Jung-un has been allowed to exist.  But if Trump beats the South Korean socialist to the peace process in unifying the Korean Peninsula against the wishes of China—then all of them lose their leverage cards in future negotiations. But to do all this, Trump couldn’t have a budget battle with Democrats now—he needed the military money and the ability to show that he was willing to work with the Democrats.  He knew they’d reject him—but he had to try so that he’d have the high ground later.  And that is the difference between a good strategist and an idiot.  The media doesn’t know the difference but readers here do.

The Disgraceful, Dishonest Press: Liberal losers in Hollywood and the media show how bad it really is

I deal with a lot of people and most of them don’t come as close to being the kind of conservative that I am. So the intolerance to other people’s opinions isn’t something that I understand.  Most of the time I am very disappointed in the people I meet, but I figure if they’ve gotten through 30 to 40 years of life and still have liberal leanings toward things—a five-minute conversation with me isn’t going to change much for them—so I don’t waste the time talking.  I deal with things as close to their level as I can allow myself and move on to the next topic without a thought.  If I didn’t do that I couldn’t speak to anybody—but that’s OK, because that type of thing doesn’t do much for me anyway.  But having an intolerance toward other points of view—if I functioned like that, I simply couldn’t live.  That’s why it is so disgusting to me to see how the White House Correspondents media behaved Saturday night as President Trump stiffed them by doing something else in a different city that night.  I don’t blame Trump at all—the media does cover him differently than say, President Obama.  In spite of all their talk about being a relevant part of “democracy” the press clearly didn’t hold Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and Eric Holder to the level of scrutiny that they do anybody in the Trump administration—so it is they who created this mess—and only they can clean it up.

I’ve told you dear reader before, the communist insurgents from the 1950s sought openly to take over Hollywood and the American media hoping to advance those collectivist ideas a half a century later and bring down the capitalist republic envied around the world so that a global order could rise from the ashes. Public schools have assisted in this enterprise and that is why on May first 2017 there were communist demonstrations in cities across America that we wouldn’t have seen ten or twenty years ago.  Those communist sympathizers are now in Hollywood and in our media and they have advanced that communist plot line.  Not that long ago there were a sizable number of conservatives in those fields.  There were always liberals in Hollywood and in the media, but they weren’t this obnoxious and insistent on shutting out conservative voices.  But these days conservatives are under attack which is most evident at Fox News where all the old timers are losing their jobs to more progressive liberals.  I felt sorry for Eric Bolling who had his new show debut at 5 PM on “May Day” and it was a disaster.  Why did he have on Mark Cuban?  He’s an idiot—I don’t want to hear from him.  In fact I didn’t want to hear from anybody but Eric on his show—more opinions don’t equate to better thinking.  But all Fox News could think to do in that time slot was another version of The Five.  I listen to liberals all day long—I don’t want to hear them on my news after working hard all day.  I’m open to other view points, but when it comes to my entertainment time—I’m going to choose people who are like-minded.  If Fox News doesn’t give me what I’m looking for I’ll find other alternatives—and that is the real reason for the misery displayed at the Correspondent’s Dinner Saturday

The country is moving back toward conservatism and the Hollywood types along with their partners in the media don’t like it. They are not open to people with other opinions and it shows in the way the covered Obama.  There were so many things they could have nailed him on, but because he was a black Democrat they literally gave him a free pass—but decided to put down the gauntlet for Trump and we all see it.  Who do they think they’re kidding?  They are the cause of all the divisiveness and when we don’t go along with their media plans—and just openly accept their stupid progressivism they think we are the ones who are intolerant.   Check out the riots just this year at Berkeley.  That will tell you everything you need to know.

For instance, I typically enjoy the Star Trek movies when they come out, so I watched the last one, Star Trek: Beyond.  It was horrendously stupid—overly progressive and ridiculously political.  They were more concerned with showing gay sex and multi-cultural civilization than in telling a good story—so the movie bombed.  It was rejected at the box office just like most projects are that are overly sexualized toward a progressive direction—because the United States as a market is not liberal.  When media companies start thinking their task is to make people into a certain thing by using art to take them there—they will likely fail if that art does not represent the demographic targeted by the art.  Star Trek: Beyond might represent the gay people at a Pride parade with all their rainbows and dudes dressed in drag—but it doesn’t register with some mechanic in Wichita, Kansas who is certainly not thinking of sticking any part of himself in the ass of some hairy assed man.  The media both in the press and in entertainment failed to understand their marketplace and thought they actually had the power to move culture instead of giving culture what it wants.

That is the big distinction, the liberals in the news media think they can shape the minds of their viewers and the hard reality tells them that people will leave and seek out other objectives. I seldom watched The Five on Fox because I didn’t want to hear from Jaun Williams or Bob Beckel.   It’s nothing personal, I just don’t want to hear their liberal voices—it’s a waste of my time.  It’s not that I’m intolerant, it’s that I don’t want to hear it—and that is what the media is missing now that we are in the age of Trump.  They are making themselves less relevant day by day and they still don’t know it.  By the way they behaved at the correspondent’s dinner—they really don’t understand America at all.  They only understand the progressive culture of New York, Washington D.C. and a few cities in California—but no place else who actually watch their programming—or not, depending on choices.

Since Fox New canned O’Reilly and really Roger Ailes over the summer, I only watch Lou Dobbs and Brett Baier at 6 pm on the Fox owned networks. I caught the Tucker Carlson segment shown above while I had breakfast because the headline caught my eye.  But I don’t have time to commit to a complete show if the people in it don’t represent what I want to see.  I don’t need a lecture from a bunch of artists and leftists who will take their clothes off for anybody and smoke dope every now and then—to “open” my mind to other points of view.  I know what works and what doesn’t and that’s pretty much it.  Maybe when I was in my twenties I had things to learn.  These days, nobody knows what I do because they don’t work as hard as I do for information—so there isn’t much for them to “teach” me.  I just want the news—not some 26-year-old kid crying about fairness.  I want to see reports on what’s going on in the world and if the press has to spin it at all, I want a conservative view-point.  I don’t want to listen to liberals cry about every little particle floating around the universe.

It was very disingenuous to listen to the press complain about Trump because honestly, I’m not sure they know where they live. All they really accomplished was that they confirmed they didn’t understand the average Trump voter who has loaded up government positions with conservatives at all levels.  It’s pretty bad that POLITICO released in its recent survey that no members of the press identify themselves as Republican—when the people they are covering most likely are—and the audience who wants their news.  When a majority of the press are openly Democrats it becomes a larger problem and we saw it during the Obama years and the Clinton election where they lost.  They didn’t understand what happened then, or why it was a problem, and they know even less now.  Yet for them the world will go on without them—because that’s how things work.  It’s just too bad their liberal college professors never taught them that so to save them from this present disgrace.

The Failure of Albert Einstein: Trump’s first 100 days as President

The most telling indicator of Trump’s first 100 days isn’t all the executive orders that he’s undone from the Obama era to take the chains away from American enterprise, or the unraveling around the world of the weak Obama foreign policy which the White House is facing down squarely on all fronts, but it’s in the fact that for the first time ever the Dow Jones spiked above 21,000 for a bit and is actually closing close to that mark. Money is flowing and optimism is high in such a brief period of time.  It has provided a clear window into what the future of America can look like. And for the first time that I’ve ever seen, the Democrats sound like old archaic socialists from some third world country that have no idea how economies work and that is largely due to the contrast they have with Donald Trump.

Wall Street is not a villainous enterprise. It should be remembered that when the World Trade Center was attacked—the goal was to bring down American capitalism because the rest of the world doesn’t have anything like it.  Enemies of America know that the way to beat us is to take away our financial means, and Democrats are the party intent to conduct that objective on behalf of the world.  I was surprised to learn some things new in the National Geographic series, Genius which was about the life of Albert Einstein because in it knowingly or unknowingly the Hollywood left and the progressive objectives of National Geographic revealed a lot about themselves in making Einstein their version of Jesus. In the beginning of the first episode Einstein is having sex with a woman with her back pressed against a chalkboard where he has some complicated equations written—which end up on her back.  After sex he casually wipes away the dust and rewrites them carefully while asking the girl to move in with him and his wife.  She refuses as she should where Einstein then gives a small lecture about monogamy not being natural.  Later, as the Nazis rise to power Einstein as a much younger man renounces his German citizenship to say that he is a man of the world and that Germany is full of temporary nationalists.  Even later his businessman father chastises the young, dreamy Einstein for not being focused on making a living where the two argue about the nature of capitalism for which Ron Howard clearly takes the side of the communist leaning Einstein.  The hopeful disguise is that the political left hopes through the lens of “genius” that viewers will be enchanted toward progressivism—after all, everyone knows that Albert Einstein was a “genius.”  Who could argue otherwise?

But after watching him more under the fine direction of Ron Howard was that Einstein was a bit of a little bitch complaining about everything and seeking for ways to daydream rather than do anything productive. Yes, the results of his daydreams was quite good and he advanced civilization—but he was quirky at best and hardly a fine example of human specimen.  Being smart doesn’t necessarily make a person good—it just makes them useful.  That was my takeaway from the National Geographic show about Albert Einstein—was that he was kind of a little bit of a bitch that you put up with because he did one thing really well—and that was articulate the realm of physics.  But he hardly had the keys to a constructive civilization or the understanding of transitory concerns for which we all live.  It’s not enough to only take the long view on things, but we must have both—the ability to see way over the horizon while we work in the here and now.  As Einstein’s wife said to him after his friend was assassinated by extremists of the rising Nazi party—“don’t hide in your work—you need to grieve.”  It doesn’t make a person great to hide in his genius and think about only big problems without doing the things in the here and now.  If that were the definition of greatness countless video game players who hide in their online activities would be considered “great” people instead of escapists unable to deal with reality.  But that is the problem of the political left, they worship people like Einstein without considering the faults of his compulsive desire to hide from the here and now by thinking about the infinite.  Just a few sentences prior Einstein’s wife addressed her husband’s infidelity for which he offered no apology—and she just accepted it the way most liberals do—as something that just happens.

These are the people who have been critical of Donald Trump—people who make movies about Albert Einstein on the very progressive National Geographic Channel and are functioning from a value system hiding out of reality—which is why they don’t understand money or the value of it. Money is a measure of morality in the value of something.  If something is worth a lot of money it’s because its value is desired by many.  Under that lens, the Wall Street stock markets are a measure of our economic horsepower which translates into many other good things which trickle off it.  Einstein might have figured out the theory of relativity, but the value of human achievement was clearly something that eluded him because he was fundamentally as a person detached from the value of such things.  He viewed such things as transitory—whereas they are mini miracles.  For instance—the planet Saturn never built a car.  The mechanisms of the universe may do many cool things across the mysteries of space and time—but with all the vast intelligence contained within it—the universe never invented an eraser to wipe away the chalk found on the back of Einstein’s sex partner.

A progressive would argue that an eraser only has value in the realm of human thought—but if you consider for a moment the value of that thought—isn’t it grander than the power of a black hole, or a quasar? Isn’t it a human mind who can figure out how to build a planet if they could gather up the proper resources as opposed to a bunch of forces that collide to form everything we see—would do so and perhaps even improve on the design of a “plant.”  How do we know that in the end of the quantum physics tunnel that it’s not a human mind that is steering everything—after all—we do typically associate our God figures as being recognizably human.

The New York Stock Exchange is a measure of human thought because the money that is produced by it through investments indicates the value of human concepts by way of invention and commerce. And under Trump that thought is expanding which is a miracle in itself and the greatest thing I’ve seen happen in Trump’s first 100 days as president of the United States.  Trump is beyond the nationalism that Hitler represented and Einstein feared so much—he is beyond even the universal accidents that seem to be happening all over the place in space—because Trump represents a step in human evolution that is directly seen emerging in the increased value of the American stock exchanges—the optimism of the pent-up potential of the human race.  That potential has eluded all societies for millions of years and under Trump it is emerging at a rapid pace—and expanding in ways that would have completely mystified Albert Einstein and his progressive subjects committed to a philosophy that died away with Immanuel Kant.  And Trump is doing it not because he himself is a great man—but because he knows enough to take away the limits to human potential and that along is a massive accomplishment of boundless value.  That concept all by itself is more important than any legislation that could have been created because laws do not make our society great.  Human invention through thought does.

The Fox News Magic Freak Show: How the Murdoch kids are screwing up and why Bill O’reilly will survive

I was doing some work so I loosely had on Tucker Carlson’s show in the old O’Reilly time slot on Fox News and it was terrible. I like Tucker, but the show just wasn’t working for me and when Bruce Jenner came on dressed in drag to show his wrinkled up old ass on my giant 4K television I turned it off and went into the garage to do some reloading of ammunition.  I have much better things to do with my life than watch that kind of crap.  If that’s what Fox News thinks is going to work now that the sons of Rupert Murdoch have pushed out Bill O’Reilly and Roger Ailes of Fox so that they can make their own way in the world.  I predict they will go out of business pretty fast.  The show The Five is just terrible—because Bob Beckel is like listening to a sick old man complaining about a toilet being clogged up, when he was the one who did all the clogging.  It was just an intolerable line-up and Fox News should be ashamed of themselves as an organization.  O’Reilly’s exit had nothing to do with women or sex—it was all about moving the station toward a more centrist position politically by the Murdoch kids and it was clearly not my taste.  I have a busy life and I don’t have time to waste on Bruce Jenner and a Fox News freak show.

I wasn’t planning to but I turned on O’Reilly’s podcast while I worked at my workbench pressing bullets into their casings and you know what—Bill’s little radio show was much better than anything I had seen on Fox News from 4 pm until that 8:30 pm moment where I turned it off at the site of Bruce Jenner’s wrinkled mug complete with a wig that looked like he snatched it from a Key West street whore from lower Duval. O’Reilly is after all the only connection our present society has to honest old-fashioned news the way the networks used to strive to deliver it.  Even PBS back in the day had a much better journalistic approach—I didn’t even know that Bill Moyers was a liberal until the late 90s.  O’Reilly knows how to deliver the news and that’s all I want.  I don’t want dudes dressed in drag and I don’t want to hear Bob Beckel’s anti-Trump rhetoric all the time. Honestly, I don’t care if the other political socialist loving liberal side of our society falls off the face of the earth—when I’m relaxing at home I don’t want to hear from them.  I see them enough around town and in daily business.  Roger Ailes understood that which is how Fox News became so popular to begin with.  The Murdoch kids—they haven’t got a clue.  They are typical second-handers who have no idea why their dad was successful.  They just know they are rich and that they can dump people like Bill O’Reilly and change him out with other people and everything will just work out.  Clearly, that was wrong after only one night.

I had my suspicions about the sex allegations against O’Reilly and Ailes, but when Sean Hannity’s name was tossed in the mix over this past weekend I knew the whole thing was a well-planned, and coordinated attack against the conservatives at Fox News. The Murdoch boys played along with the New York Times because they wanted to fulfil their dream of building their own legacy—but the attack was meant to destroy Fox News and indirectly the Trump administration. Hannity is about as clean of a Boy Scout as there is at a celebrity status—there is no way he was asking women to his hotel room.  I don’t think those words could ever come out of his mouth.  That’s just not in the realm of possibility and he can defend his position—so when the claim was made it was obvious what was happening.  I’ll listen to O’Reilly from my garage and won’t waste my time with Fox News.  That actually helps me with my shooting hobby so I have no complaints.  I’m just happy to see O’Reilly get back on the horse so quickly.

It has now been revealed that during the campaign of 2016 Hillary Clinton didn’t understand why she was losing to Bernie Sanders and ultimately why Donald Trump did so well. The world had changed and Hillary didn’t see it coming with all her liberal friends.  The old tricks were no longer working—suddenly she was the magician on stage pulling rabbits out of a hat only people could see all the hidden mechanisms designed to sell the illusion and people were laughing at her, not mystified by her acts of illusion.  People could see someone off stage handing her the rabbit under a table and she was exposed trying to sell the trick as majestic when it was at that point just a clown car scheme gone bad. Hillary played as much as anybody at exposing all the back-stage secrets of the magic show and now the American public was aware of everything and it wasn’t working.  Only really stupid people were willing to continue accepting the illusion.  But people with half a brain were laughing at her and moving on politically.

Getting rid of Fox News of course won’t put the skirt back around the table to hide the assistant hiding the rabbit for Hilary’s hat trick. As polling showed yesterday, if the election were held now—100 days into the Trump White House—Hillary would lose worse than she did in November.  And Elizabeth Warren will fair far worse when she is matched up against Trump in 2020.  Those people on that side of politics have no idea what country they are in or what Americans thank about things—they just have their ideology and hope that if they avoid looking too deeply at things that they can continue the illusion of the magic show to their base of stupid malcontents.  They think that Bruce Jenner dressed in drag will replace Bill O’Reilly because honestly they never really understood the simple brilliance of the Talking Points Memo and why nobody in news has been able to duplicate it’s success even after 20 years of trying.

The great American novel Atlas Shrugged dealt with this whole second-hander notion that is now destroying Fox News—a half a century ago.  It’s no mystery—just like any right-minded person knows that rabbits don’t just come out of an empty hat.  At some point you have to suspend your rationality to accept that magic tricks are actually more than just an illusion, and the political left are masters of tricking themselves into believing that everything they see is real. But the magic tricks have been exposed by the left and next generation second-handers like Murdoch’s spoiled brat children don’t understand how things really work—because they are afraid of the work involved in the process.  They are used to sitting in the audience, not working the stage—so they think they can put anything up—and people will be entertained.  But there is a huge difference between David Blaine and some street hustler just doing card tricks.  The news as it has evolved over time is all about selling the magic tricks of the political left and a lot of people—(half the country) are tired of it.  So they want a throwback to an old dinosaur that tells things with as little spin as possible—to just stand on the stage and tell us the news without the rabbit tricks and the empty hat on top of a table covered with a cloth designed to conceal the rabbit hidden underneath.  American society is more sophisticated now, and those old tricks just aren’t working.

And people want more than a freak show on Fox News.  They can get Bruce Jenner anywhere, MTV, E News, ABC, CBS, NBC—everywhere.  But people tune into Fox to step beyond the magic show.  And if they can’t get it there they’ll turn to the Bill O’Reilly podcast like I did and forget about Fox News all together. People aren’t as dumb as the Murdoch boys think and if they don’t know what they are doing—which they obviously don’t—they need to get back into the audience and let people who know what’s going on run the show again.  Because they are really screwing things up.  No skin off my back, but Fox News won’t just run itself.  If that network dies, something else will take its place.  But what their dad built will be lost forever—and I’m sure that’s not their intention.

Canadian Socialism: WLW’s poor choice in selective advertising and how America isn’t going back

This is one of those snarky media things that really irritates me—because there is a presumption that they know more than the rest of us.  But in my case at least—they don’t.  I’m usually polite toward other people who don’t work as hard at knowing things as I do, but when you run into one of these little smart asses it deserves a review in front of the class.  First WLW radio put out a little story on Twitter seen below, about Canadians disparaging Trump as if that were some kind of story.  Now, everyone here knows my history with WLW—I think they are too liberal since the exit of Darryl Parks and I stopped listening to them or doing little things for their various shows way back then.  AM radio is a dying medium so they are useless to me. When I saw them say something nasty about Trump, I responded accordingly.  I worked hard for the Trump campaign in Ohio, and I continue to do so when necessary.  The nature of my comment was that seldom does any media outlet acknowledge the dirty little secret that Canadians are socialist and the only way their society even begins to have any decent standard of living is that they have a very low population to support with their socialism, and they get all the economic spillover that comes with being the northern neighbor of the United States.  If that Justin Trudeau kid was running a country south of Mexico, Canada would be in just as bad of a situation as Venezuela is currently.  But because Canada shares so much trade with the United States, because we share rivers and lakes with them, they get to enjoy the change that falls out of our pockets as a rich nation.  There is nothing brilliant about the Canadian economy or their commitment to socialism.  Let’s get that clear from the start here.  I’m not a fan of Canada because of their left-winged politics.

But our American media and most of our left-winged entertainment culture love Canada for all those socialist reasons—and they are supposedly educated people.  Enter this Chad Selweski guy who responded to my Tweet to WLW Radio with the following smart assed answer from what he calls a “centrist viewpoint” as a media guy with some experience.  The only reason I point this out is because he represents largely what the mainstream media thinks about things and you quickly get an idea about why our media is so screwed up.

Socialism isn’t funny or cute—yet it’s being taught by a majority of our current education institutions in spite of the terrible track record it has around the world and its people like this Chad Selweski guy who help defend it even in the face of failure.  To more thoroughly answer his question about the beer company making fun of Trump, what they are doing is precisely what Canada always does—they are second-handers to American culture and in this case are using the Trump name to attempt to sell a few extra cans of beer to the largely socialist audience of their visitors and residents.  They aren’t being clever—they are just using the name of a successful person who happens to be picked on in the American media because he’s a capitalist.  That beer company was hoping that they’d get some free publicity from loser media groups like WLW radio to advertise for them subtle messages that go against Trump.  Not particularly clever free market advertising.  Just parasitic—like the overall culture of Canada.

These guys in the media—from WLW radio to this Chad Selweski cape rider want in American politics the type of people who screwed everything up—and Trump is a departure from the world they helped create—and they don’t like it.  I can understand that, but here’s the deal.  We’re not going back to the Peter Jennings world where George Will defined conservatism—or the equal value of Canadian politics on the North American continent.  Their economy only produces 1.7 trillion dollars so they are hardly masters of the universe when it comes to politics or philosophy.  Nobody should be taking any lessons on how to run a country from them.  I worked in the Tea Party movement for nearly a decade now and I have watched the political trajectory culminate into Donald Trump being in the White House and I’m here to tell all these “centrists” who eye socialism with compassion—America has a taste now of what a capitalist loving nation can do for them—and they aren’t turning away and returning to the world of moderation and mixed economies.

The best thing that Trump has done in his first 100 days since the media is so excited to report all the things he hasn’t been able to get done, like healthcare reform, or tax reform—and all the big-ticket items that small-minded people key on who don’t understand the big picture—was deregulation.  Trump has the Keystone Pipeline moving forward. He has cut back on the EPA.  He has an AG who is cutting down on illegal border crossings and he has encouraged trillions of dollars of investment to come back into the United States and that money is going to work in the American economy as I write this.  In just a few months Trump with just his name has put more money into our stock market than Canada produces annually over a three-year period of time.  And we’re just getting started.  By the time there’s another election the political landscape will be much different.  We’re not going backwards.

Trump isn’t the cause of the political shift, he’s the result.  The cause could be seen in the rallies way back in 2009 when people like this Chad Selweski guy were calling Tea Party people “Tea Baggers” hoping to shame people into holding that “centrists” line, where Canada, Mexico and the United States could all sit at a table as equals and contemplate the direction of the human race.  Two socialists and a capitalist do not all get equal consideration under the banner of philosophic contemplation—because results are what matter—not theoretical Marxist commitment when we all know what the end results are.  Trump can come and go, but the movement toward an unapologetic capitalist American society goes all the way back to the last days of George W. Bush when he gave up on the free market to put down the clamps which eventually caused the crash of 2008.  Many of us were ready to try something new back then and because of his skin color, Barack Obama got a chance and what he brought to America was European style socialism and that was like throwing gas on the bon fire.  Trump put his name in the ring and we voted for him—and in the future, it might be him or someone else—but we’re not going back.

The Canadians can make fun of America with their stupid beer cans, and our American media can disparage Trump yearning for those good ol’ days where they understood our political landscape and felt they could control it.  But the reality is what we are dealing with here—socialism doesn’t work, and America is about to pull ahead of the rest of the world economically showing everyone that they should have been more committed to capitalism than they were.  And people like Chad Selweski will find freelancing much more difficult because his “centrist position” just became the extreme radical leftist fringe again—the way it used to be in America.  People are now more open in their opinions and those old George Bush Republicans (pick either Bush president—it doesn’t really matter) are no longer going to be tolerated.

It’s now a numbers game—the old Tea Party types will fight it out for philosophic supremacy as the political left gets lost in the dust as the world changes under their feet.  That will happen because poor countries like Mexico, Canada and all of Europe are no longer equal players in global politics.  Because Trump has taken all the oxygen in the room—and that’s the way we want it in an “America First” world.  The Canadians can make fun of it—but it’s because they are the losers lost in the wake—not the superior economic contributor which WLW tried to pawn off on their audience of half-wits waiting for the next Cincinnati Reds baseball game to come on the air.  Personally, I care about as much about what the Canadians think of America as I do piss in a toilet.  A simple flush takes it all away.
