The Demons of Charlottesville: Screams from the evil trying to seduce us all to sleep

It took me a couple of days to get my mind around the extreme hypocrisy on full display in the wake of the Charlottesville racism issue in Virginia. I thought Donald Trump did a great job of addressing the nation just a few hours after violence broke out between the usual Black Live Matter communists and the Nazi socialists fighting over the removal a Robert E. Lee statue in that extremely liberal town.   At the time that Trump spoke he kept his statements general because after lunch on a Saturday afternoon it wasn’t yet known who ran over whom.   Was it the same ol’ radicals from Ferguson and Baltimore—or was it the skin heads, and Nazi fascists?  Trump couldn’t have been sure until much later and it was at that point that even Republicans were criticizing the president for not specifically identifying the white nationalists—as if he were associated with them.  It truly was an amazing display of evil—not in the violence at Charlottesville which was despicable in and of itself—but in the mass volume of the media propensity to advance a false plot against Trump that was truly vile.  Wasn’t it just a few weeks ago where a Bernie Sanders supporter shot up a bunch of Republicans at a baseball game, and a few months ago where Kathy Griffin held up the bloody severed head of a fake Donald Trump—and Snoop Dogg put out a video showing the mock assassination of our new president?  What we all witnessed in the wake of Charlottesville was a new kind of evil which was much more sinister than the kid who ran into a mob of communist radicals in a clash of leftist maniacs gone wild.

Again I was very proud of Donald Trump—he did all the right things at all the right times during the crises and the people who came out in criticism against him are the people who are protecting the swamp we are all trying to drain.  If you wanted to root out the Never Trump types who are holding up legislation in congress to prevent the President’s agenda from being implemented then just listen to those who criticized Trump so quickly.  They had an agenda against Trump and they used the death and injury of people at this tragic protest as a way to advance their selfish agenda.

There were many times in just the past eight years that Barack Obama took many days to respond to a tragedy on the scale of Charlottesville and when he did he often didn’t come close to providing an adequate statement.  The media, even the conservative media, never went this crazy over anything any previous president has said on a national stage.  This attitude against Trump is a whole new category of hate revealed through a swarm of aggression born from sheer evil.  It was a truly magnificent display of pure malevolence.

Trump revised his statement on Monday, August 14th to include all the white supremacy groups that the media had been criticizing him for not specifying.  I didn’t think he should have done so—he should have just let his Saturday statement stand.  After all, he addressed the real issue correctly the first time and nothing he could or would say would matter.  These parasites were going to use anything he said as a way to attempt to paint him into a corner.  The media and many of the Never Trumpers who lost to Trump during the 2016 campaign wanted to pin the president to white supremacy as their last-ditch effort to stop the movement which elected him.

The “alt-right” movement is not what makes up the Trump campaign.  White supremacists, Nazis, and the KKK radicals are all leftovers of southern Democrats and it is true that Hitler took notes from these people to advance his purge of Europe of people he didn’t want in his pure German society.  The people gathered in Charlottesville were all aspects of liberalism, the Black Lives Matters people were the hard-core communists while the Nazis were the socialists and the media framed them in their coverage as the extreme right and extreme left as if we all lived somewhere in between.  In that way they attempt to put us all into some crazy fringe of leftist radicalism and by default we must then defend our innocence from being too close to either of those fringe groups.  But, in reality, most of us are nowhere even near thinking like those two sides of the same idiotic coin.

Trump showed leadership early in the crises and it was a positive effort—in a sane world.  But we are not living in a sane world.  We are dealing with an evil that hides behind the pain and suffering of others to an extremity that is baffling to normal people.   It baffled me to see that evil so alive and desperate as they thought they had Trump pinned up against the ropes over doing what was expected of him during a crises. Trump didn’t say anything wrong. The skin heads, the communists, the people who wanted to take down the Robert E. Lee statue, the Mayor of Charlottesville, the Nazi lovers all the leftist losers who were in those city streets ready to fight for varying degrees of leftist philosophy were present to do damage and hurt others.  Trump had to be general in his statements given the level of evil present in Charlottesville.  Trump did the right thing—the media showed their real game plan perhaps too audaciously.

I’ve referred to it before but there is a wonderful scene from a great Akira Kurosawa film called Dreams where there are three mountain climbers caught in a snow storm high in the Himalayas.  They’ve lost their base camp in the storm and were dying in the extreme cold.  The leader found himself seduced by a beautiful ghost who came to his side to ease him into death.  She sings him to sleep gently and seductively pushing him into death.  But, being the leader that he was, he decides to fight back and once the ghost realizes that she’s not going to get her way, she turns into a skeleton and screams angrily at the leader then vanishes into oblivion.  Once gone, the storm clears and the leader is able to wake up his friends saving them from death as well.  As the sun came back out they realized that their base camp was always only about 20 feet away the whole time.  While they had only moments before been ready to die out of desperation, now they saw clearly that they were always so close to safety—but couldn’t see it for the chaos.  That is what we see happening, the demons of our lives are hiding in this chaos and now they have been exposed and are screaming out pain that they cannot get us to follow them to our death.  And in the aftermath of Charlottesville we will also see all along our base camp has always been right next to us.  When we do, as it’s being revealed right now, we will learn that it was never in between the communists and socialists but in the warm bed of conservatism which exists well to the right of the skin heads and Nazis.  That is where America lives and that is what Trump represents in our great republic, for which we stand.

Yes, the Stock Market is Breaking Records because of Trump: A lesson on market forces

I continue to be amazed at the lack of knowledge that most people have. I mean most major malls have bookstores where people can buy and read books. The internet has voluminous amounts of information to sift through and we spend fortunes to send people through a public education system—yet still people are generally pretty stupid. It is baffling to me that they cannot make the direct correlation between the increase of the stock market gains and the Trump presidency—and that they don’t understand how 4 trillion dollars of extra investments into the American economy directly benefit every single person in our nation. Let me provide a little context of how much money that is—Russia, that country that supposedly has so much power over our elections has a GDP of 1.2 trillion dollars. Japan—one of the great economies of the world is only at 4.9 trillion. Canada has only 1.5 trillion in GDP and Germany is at 3.4 trillion dollars. When we talk about the gains in the stock market—specifically the Dow Jones average—since Donald Trump was elected we are seeing an infusion of wealth invested into our economy that exceeds most of the countries in the developed world. That is a significant achievement all by itself.

The next thing people wonder is whether or not Trump deserves any credit for it. Well, of course he does. Who else? If you do a little research into the history of stocks and investments you can clearly see a pattern for which the mob of buyers of stocks use to make their decisions. What investors love is optimism and deregulation and Trump has given them both right from the start of his election and that has caused investors to pour their money into opportunities created purely on sanguinity. It’s not very complicated and it certainly isn’t a mystery. Donald Trump gets the credit for the increases in the market based on his promise to get government out of the pockets of the movers and shakers and that has unleashed vast amounts of wealth that had been sitting around doing nothing. That’s how powerful optimism is and how limiting governments are on the happiness, and productivity of their citizens.

Venezuela is in trouble because they adopted socialism and the state runs everything leaving their markets overregulated and underperforming. They have great oil reserves that depended on artificially high prices to survive in a global economy. Once competition was once again opened up driving down the price of barrels of oil the socialist country couldn’t survive because they had provided no reason for any investors to bring money to their country. People with money are productive assets in a global economy because they have done things to earn that money. They aren’t villains as socialists and communists see them. Wealthy people are assets. Even politicians must admit as much because they need the money of wealthy people to run their campaigns. Without wealthy people any society is essentially an armpit of derelict behavior. The more wealthy people a society has—the higher quality that society will be. Venezuela made it so that wealthy people left and prevented more wealth from investing in their country leaving the people there struggling even to find a bar of soap to clean themselves with.

Wealth is created when something has a perceived value. For something to have such a value there must be a market demand for whatever that value represents—such as gold, cars, or old toys and cloths. EBay and Amazon.com can provide the proof of how joining market forces together can create wealth that wasn’t there before. Just by joining the consumer with a supplier those two companies have tremendously increased market value within America’s GDP. If there were some way in Zimbabwe to join together two villages which might otherwise be 30 miles apart so that they could sell rocks and animal bones to each other more easily, they would see an uptick in their economy as well. In places where individuals are freely able to exchange what they have to those who want it, you will see a more productive, and wealthy nation where the standard of living is much higher than places where personal freedoms are more tightly monitored.

This is why the communists of our present time have all put on the mask of the environmental movement because that way they could hide their hatred of production behind a well-intentioned cause—such as saving the planet. They have entirely made up the facts and figures. The government in the United States and around Europe who naturally always want more control use their power to issue grant money to scientific institutions who will make up phony global warming numbers to invoke their communist religion on the masses hoping ultimately to slow down production in develop countries so that undeveloped arm pit countries around the world can be propped up—the way Venezuela was. But all that value Venezuela had off oil money was artificially created by regulation—it wasn’t real—it was built off a lack of supply to meet a heavy demand.

Trump signed immediately legislation which put the Keystone Pipeline directly into use—at least the parts that could be. Trump immediately removed the federal restrictions so that local fights could hash out the details which had been the biggest barrier to implementing that very power delivery method of oil from Canada to the reserves along the Gulf of Mexico. Just that action alone sent the prices of oil down which was great for all market driven economies. While it might not have been great for Venezuela who depended on high prices to sustain their socialist government, oil is just one factor in a free economy. Cheap transportation can do much more to create many more aspects of wealth in any economy so it is far more important to a developing world to have access to cheap fuel and oil so that other markets can use transportation to develop new economic advances.

All Trump had to do to increase the stock market was promise optimism. The numbers are off lately from the record highs we had been seeing because of the obvious stand-off and war with North Korea. That creates market insecurity and makes people hang on to their money. If you really get to the gist of why so many senators have been coming out against Trump’s “optimism” its because they need the chaos of limitation to justify their do-nothing approach to everything productive. They, like Venezuela, need artificial regulations to justify their power. A free market means fewer people need government to redistribute wealth—and even Republicans have gotten used to that game. So long as people have no other options, their do-nothing game of pandering to lobbyists and getting rich off the results could continue. But Trump has not only deregulated the market and inspired great wealth which is reshaping our country as we speak—but he’s exposed those politicians with a value he has brought to politics that has redefined everything. So yes, they don’t like him. Just like Venezuela hates free and open markets. When people are allowed to do what they want and get what they need, all of society advances. But when they are limited and regulated society stagnates. All Trump did to increase the markets was show investors that he was willing to free them—and it is all just as simple as that. Just imagine what might happen if we really did have a free markets and politics were removed from the process altogether. Everyone could be unbelievably wealthy—everywhere in the world. If only……………………..

Mitch McConnell the Underperformer: How the exceptional make the weak feel terrible

Mitch McConnell made a fool out of himself when he returned to his district in Kentucky to essentially throw Donald Trump under the bus for what the senator was not able to do in the Senate. As he said, Trump had unrealistic ideas about the way legislation works and had set ridiculous expectations of achievement—and that it was Trump’s inexperience that was at fault—not him. As he said that Trump was speaking to North Korea in a way that no American president never has where real threats are being made against our sovereign nation. I still don’t think North Korea has the means to attack America—but they showed the intent and that deserves an ass kicking all by itself—so Trump has some things to do. While congress went on vacation the President is still working and solving complicated problems around the world essentially spelling out the entire problem for all to see. Congress is essentially lazy and have grown accustom to doing very little but talk a lot and here was a new President that actually expected to accomplish things—and that was too much for ol’ Mitch—who has been in the Senate too long.

I understand this pushback because I get it all the time—in fact it was just this week where I had to explain to people who thought what I was asking them to do was impossible that it was they who were the problem. Speed and accuracy are equally important in all endeavors. I don’t just practice these things with my bullwhips and fast draw hobbies for fun—there is a deep philosophical necessity in mastering some aspect of speed and accuracy in people’s lives so that they can apply those techniques to a real problem in some regard. Any idiot can stand in front of a target and hit it with a gun, or a whip when time is not applied to create extra pressure. When we do our bullwhip competitions people who are very good technically have a hard time hitting their targets because time is a factor and the pressure often makes them miss. People who are good at managing their speed and accuracy obviously are the people who win the most while those not so good look terrible and incompetent. They may be very accurate and can put out a candle with a bullwhip if they have all the time in the world but they struggle mightily under the pressure of time.

That is why I love cowboy fast draw. My schedule has been too busy to attend a lot of the shooting events this year because most of them take most of a weekend to do, and I don’t have that kind of time to give in 2017—but I practice most every day and I’m currently shooting consistently in the .500s—which is pretty good. The really fast guys are shooting in the .300s which is just over a quarter second. I’m shooting in the half second range which consists in shooting at a 24” target from 21 feet away with a gun in a holster with a single action firearm. To perform the shot a lot of things have to go extremely right and it is quite an exercise to start thinking in fractions of a second.

Most people think in a way that a second is their idea of fast—so when they speak of things in matters of speed their point of reference is in seconds. But when faster than a second is needed to refer to speed, those people do not have the proper vocabulary, or context to comprehend the need. The same can be said of congress. Their unit of measure to articulate their accomplishments have not been based on performance, but purely on bluster. Donald Trump was elected to change the definitions and the people who are struggling with the new definitions are obviously uncomfortable. But they don’t have a right to refuse to act.

In our bullwhip speed and accuracy contests not only is speed a consideration by accuracy is equally important. For instance, for each cup missed on the target line there is a five second deduction. Also there is a line six feet away from the targets and you can’t put your toe on that line otherwise you could incur another 5 second penalty. Even if you ran through the 10 targets in 11 seconds, but you stepped on the line twice and missed two cups, your real-time would be up over 30 seconds which isn’t going to win shit. You have to be fast, and smooth and make little or no mistakes taking nothing for granted. It is possible if you are competent in that kind of endeavor. If you are not, or have drifted through life without being tested—then you can see why some people are very jealous of those with those who can do things accurately—fast.

Mitch McConnell’s “excessive expectations” comment about Trump is just that—a frustrated old legislator who has been exposed as a phone because he isn’t good at anything—especially his field of endeavor which is as a Senator. The only thing McConnel has been good at is deceiving people and getting himself elected year after year on empty promises. For all the time he has been in the Senate Mitch has never been able to find money for the I-75 bridge from Ohio into Kentucky even when the powerful Speaker of the House position was in his friend’s hands John Boehner in the House. Those two couldn’t have completed a shadow on the sidewalk under a hard summer sun at 5 PM on a cloudless day. They were simply lobbyists in waiting or facilitating the needs of lobbyists who fund their campaigns each term. They never planned to do anything but talk as elected representatives. Trump asking them to do anything is an “excessive expectation.”

People like Mitch McConnell are the type of people who always say, “slow down” so that we don’t make mistakes. They want all day to stand in front of a target so that they can hit it. They are the type of people who support a progressive society void of competition because they can’t compete. I always love it when the best bull whip artists come to our competitions. Some of them are the best in the world and have several world records and you bet it feels good to beat them on some of these competitions. We all win our share of things just being good at that sport, so we never get very serious about it. But I know people who hate it when I come to competitions because they fear they won’t have a chance to win. Instead of rising to the challenge they cuss about how it might rob them of a win just by being there. That is what Mitch McConnell is doing with Donald Trump. He wishes that the new president had never been elected because it makes him look bad in comparison and the game as Senator that he has been playing and making a lot of money off of has been exposed. Now he’s supposed to act, and he isn’t prepared. The drag assing hasn’t been working because Trump doesn’t understand the game—that everyone knows congress isn’t supposed to actually accomplish anything. They are supposed to pretend while the shadow government runs everything. Everyone makes their money and the public has been none the wiser. Only we have been wise to it for a long time—and we’re sick of it. That is why we elected Donald Trump. And we expect things to actually be accomplished.

The Annie Oakley Western Showcase 2017: Learning to live in the arena

 

There are so many things to be excited about in life, and as readers here know every year at the Annie Oakley Western Showcase It’s an exciting time for me.  I enjoy seeing my friend Gery Deer and the Bass family along with many others who usually come to the event in the big sky country of central Ohio at historic Greenville, Ohio to celebrate the life of Annie Oakley.  We get together once a year and have done so for the since the early 2000s to show off our western arts to the public in a grand vaudeville fashion and I think it’s truly something special.  Like I constantly explain to the young people who come to these things we are doing something that less than one percent of one percent is doing in the world and that makes these skills extremely unusual.  I would go on to say that celebrating these skills is a very important element to our American traditions.  If you really were to peel back the noise of modern politics you’d find at the essence of our philosophies the hopes and dreams communicated through the ages of the American people in their westerns and the Annie Oakley event clearly celebrates those sentiments.   I recharge myself each year at the event where we compete with each other a bit and show off for the public across a tapestry of Americana.

This year my oldest daughter came for the first time in a decade and she brought her son (my third grandchild).  He’s a very excited young man of just a year and a half in age—and he obviously got the passion gene honestly.  He gets excited about a great many things and can barely contain his emotions most of the time.  But I hadn’t worked much with bullwhips around him mainly because the timing hasn’t been right.  When I do work at home for practice he isn’t usually around as more and more I spend time at my shooting range on Cowboy Fast Draw.  I do have a speed and accuracy course set up in my back yard but he hasn’t been around much when I am there—so coming to Annie Oakley for him was a very stimulating experience.  Before we moved into the competitions we were warming up in the arena area as guests began to fill the bleachers and my little grandson was out there with us practicing—and he loved it.   That’s when Kirk Bass from the knife throwing group Bass Blades handed him a miniature bullwhip that was very nicely made, and my grandson worked hard to emulate what he was seeing.  It was pretty cute.

One thing my grandkids will never have to worry about so long as they are a part of my life is exposure to things that greatly enhance their existence.  Regarding my youngest grandson he naturally has so many interests already that I can see he’ll greatly benefit from all these unique experiences.  Knowing people who compete with bullwhips and throw knives for fun are skills that translate well into other parts of a life.  It was encouraging seeing his young mind soaking up everything from me and following me around as I practiced for the event in front of a growing audience.   Not only are the skills important to learn just for the act in focusing energy through a Wild West weapon of American tradition toward objectives designed to provide some theatrical context, but just performing in front of people is a significant first step in mastering crafts needed to live life.

Much of my ability to speak in public or to lead large groups of people professionally comes from my past experiences in performing with the bullwhip.  Working with a bullwhip for nearly 40 years now I learned to do it in front of people over time which made it easy for me to do other things in public—like speak on radio programs.  Or attend VIP political events while eyes of scrutiny look to dissect you over every little thing.  Public competition helps prepare you for the rigors of the world, so of course I want my grandchildren to master some skill which prepares them for the opposition they will naturally face in school—and in life.

I never force feed anybody anything, especially kids.  They have to come to the things that make them excited in life on their own accord. But I do go out of my way to expose my grandchildren to anything and everything I can to evoke positive responses in them toward life—just as I did my own children.  It was strange that my daughter Brooke had returned to this Annie Oakley event ten years later and her relationship with everyone sort of just continued as if nothing had ever transpired over that decade.  The only real difference is that now she had a child of her own there instead of being one herself.  Even though my kids didn’t go off and do bullwhips which I never tried to force on them, they are confident kids who are doing neat things in the world and that’s all I ask.  But to do that sometimes you have to stick your neck out and do something unique to break away from the limitations that society restricts itself to.  To think out of the box you sometimes have to get out of the box and do something unique to start seeing things that people who are just sitting in the audience can’t see yet.  Whether it’s competing with bullwhips, throwing knives or performing quick draw with Colt .45s the skills of the western arts are good ways to be successful at other things in life.

You might have watched the video on the Tweet from Gery Deer who hosts this event every year that was featured on the Living Dayton television show.   Even though the Annie Oakley Western Showcase is literally in the middle of God’s country on the buckle of the Bible Belt mainstream culture is very curious about it as they always have been.  Not enough to pick it up and run with it—because the skills of tradition are so foreign to the current mainstream experience—but there is always hope and awe in how the public interacts with the performers of the western arts.  Cracking targets out of people’s hands and throwing an axe at a balloon positioned near a real person are things that fascinate the public immensely.  I have witnessed from direct experience and watching many of the kids of these Wild West performers grow up over the years that their interaction with these skills have helped them in many other ways.  So I enjoyed quite a lot to see that spark in my grandson’s eyes as he wanted nothing more at that moment but to emulate his grandpa by slinging his own bullwhip around.  Kids will soak up anything that adults give to them and when that exchange is pure—and honest, it’s a really beautiful thing.  The greatest let downs in life however are when parents and mentors don’t take that job very serious and over time I’ve watched a lot of people sit behind the ropes and observe from the stands being entertained for a while, but then moving on to the mundane aspects of living that happen when social predicate takes charge over human passions.  For a grandson of mine, what he needs in life is within the arena—so it was very nice to see at such a young age him showing such a desire, and comfort emerge before any kind of social restriction came along to set a bunch of artificial barriers.  And that is for me what makes the Annie Oakley event so special each year—it’s in the innocence and natural passions of the friends I have there.  I enjoy their company, and I enjoy seeing young people have the lights of their minds turned on guiding them through life the way only fresh ideas and confidence can. It truly is a beautiful thing to watch.

The Loser John McCain: We need 11 seats in the Senate for 2018

John McCain has to go.  Obviously suffering from brain damage due to the tumor he’s carrying around in his head, the loser was the deciding no vote on defeating the still very liberal version of the skinny repeal of Obamacare.  He and the two RINO chicks, Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski showed themselves to essentially be Democrats.  There is not a Republican majority in the Senate as RINOs don’t count toward a strategic holding.  Those three people are just absolutely shameful in what they’ve done and the fate of what happens next will be the result of their error.

We used to have pretty good healthcare before these idiots stuck their noses in it and screwed it all up.  But with the costs of doing business today within the medical industry we have fewer doctors than ever-moving into the field giving us all fewer choices which ultimately result in skyrocketing costs down the road.  People like McCain have taken it for granted that the health care industry would always be there for us and they have grossly miscalculated the abuse that goes on in Medicaid—where the bottom percentages of healthy conditioned people overuse the system driving up the costs.  Those people tend to be poor, and most of the time they are poor for a reason.  They either smoke too much, drink too much or they are inherently lazy people who have in their minds that wealth is created by winning a lottery ticket from the local convenient store.  Rather than encouraging these people to do better and to pull up their boot straps to live better lives and maintain better health McCain and his liberal counterparts seek to weaken them further by pouring government looted service directly into their mouths making them perpetually reliant on the government liberals’ control.

McCain has been screwing up for many years.  The worst thing he’s done was lose an election to Barack Obama.  It is hard to believe that John McCain was the Republican nominee for president of the United States back in 2008.  I mean that was our choice!   We had McCain to pick from or Obama.  A liberal or a socialist.  It should then come as no surprise that within only eight years of that fate deciding election that ushered in the Obama regime which presented us with this Obamacare mess ,that we now have Trump in the White House.  But obviously, we need more reform in the House and Senate.  We need more conservatives.  McCain certainly isn’t one.

The two chicks who failed the Republicans aren’t off the hook. But they were never considered Republicans—and were from the beginning RINOs that we knew couldn’t be counted on.  But McCain actually ran for president of the Party.  On such a crucial vote it was expected of him to at least provide leadership.  Instead, he voted to essentially destroy the remaining options that we have in the medical industry.  Yes, it will implode, as it is well on a trajectory to do.  But it didn’t need to.  All this was unavoidable.

Trump’s reaction was the right one.  He cheered on a repeal of Obamacare to fulfill a campaign promise.  Many of us for a long time have sought freedom from the Obamacare imposition.  In Ohio we passed a Healthcare Freedom Amendment but Governor Kasich who is of the same kind of liberal mind as John McCain expanded Medicaid, went against the people who elected him and claimed that Jesus told him to do it.  A few years ago people like Kasich were considered stalwart Republicans but obviously due to their actions the definitions have changed dramatically.  Trump’s answer to the McCain mess was to just let Obamacare implode and out of the ashes we’ll rebuild—which is now what’s going to happen.

Healthcare is too expensive.  It costs too much to have because the options are so limited.  Government has stuck its nose into the lives of all of us under the banner of “helping the poor” with the subtle tactic of making more people spend most of their money not on expanding the economy with home purchases and new cars, but in paying doctors to keep them sick and in a dire state.  As healthcare is now, that’s what we have—and it’s absolutely pathetic.

We are still one of those families who have full cable as well as Netflix accounts and Amazon Prime.  We carry in our household all those options because I like having multiple opportunities to select my entertainment.  If I want to watch professional football, I can.  If I want to watch the news, I can.  If I want to watch CSPAN from my garage all weekend, I can.  But it costs a lot of money—especially for cable because there just aren’t enough entertainment providers.  The infrastructure for the cable system is usually maintained by one company, maybe two if you’re lucky and they can essentially charge what they want for service.  It basically costs me $200 dollars a month just for cable now where it used to cost around $45 dollars.  The costs went up as there were fewer and fewer options, just like healthcare.

I don’t go to the doctor, it costs too much money and it takes too much time.  I’d go if it were not so expensive and took less time—and if they weren’t trying to always pump you up with drugs.  Stupid people don’t know any better and they blindly take the advice of some doctor padding their pockets with all this government intrusion to refer patients to their local pharmacy where they get addicted to prescription medicine.  If you want to trace the opiate crises to a single villain look to the medical industry where they prescribed people on pain killers for every little ailment rather than actually treating the condition—and that’s how so many people became addicted which persists to this day.  That culture of being perpetually sick and dumping all our money into a terrible government-run health care system has destroyed so many lives and people like McCain beat on their chest claiming to be trying to help the poor.  They are making more people poor by supporting Obamacare—and they are supporting making more people sick to support the struggling industry so their pharmaceutical lobby can cover their margins—which is what all this is really about.

I mentioned the cable bill crises, where many people are cutting the cord to that industry which is sinking channels like ESPN and many others.  Most people have to make a choice between health care and their entertainment and if they are sick—obviously the quality of their life is in decline not only from poor health, but in loss of enjoyment of life. They have less money to pay for things like cable, vacations, or even new cloths and there just isn’t any reason to have these problems in America due to artificial inflation of the health care industry due to government tampering.  John McCain isn’t protecting the American people, or even the poor.  He’s protecting the pharmaceutical lobby—make no mistake about it—and due to that terrible decision, he is destroying an industry and keeping countless people sick, or robbing them of their expendable income just to stay alive.

So don’t forget who did this and make sure to get rid of them in the next election.  Obviously there is not a Republican majority in the Senate.  Until we get rid of people like John McCain and the two hippie chicks from Maine and Alaska we won’t be able to get much of anything done on Capitol Hill legislatively.  And it doesn’t stop with them.  Republicans need at least 11 seats in the Senate by good hard-core principled Republicans in 2018 so we might as well get started on finding those people.  As healthcare spirals down the drain John McCain and his liberal buddies need to go down with it.  Meanwhile the need for votes to pass proper legislation will not go away and that needs to be where the focus resides.  Americans should not have to pay so much for basic healthcare.  We need competition to drive down the costs so that we can spend our money on other things that improve our quality of living.  John McCain wants to take money from us and give it to the poor so that they can stay crippled and dependent and make his pharmaceutical friends wealthy off our misery.  And that has to stop starting with pushing the RINOs out of the Senate.

They Have it Coming: Trump and his supporters tried to make peace–but the other side picked war

Donald Trump tried to play nice. He started his presidency not wanting to prosecute his political rivals, in allowing Democrats to join Republicans in legislative actions.  He even wanted to make good with the press—he sat down with The New York Times—a newspaper he has always loved, and tried to offer them an olive branch of peace before his inauguration even started.  All those idiots swiped away that offering and chose to aggressively prosecute Trump and his family in a desperate effort to save the swamp in Washington D.C., the K-Street money, the bribes, the sex, the massive corruption that goes on unimpeded—and has for years.  That is until we elected a president to put a stop to all that.  And now after watching the testimony of Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law and the way that Republicans have drag-assed the healthcare debate trying to hide behind the phony Russian investigations to avoid dealing directly with the president at the head of their party—it is obvious that its time to doing some firing—and prosecution and to take this fight to those who deserve it most—and not to look back.

That clip by Sean Hannity demonstrates the problem pretty clear—have you ever been to Russia or anywhere near that land mass dear reader?  They do not have the power that Democrats are tying to give them.  They are not a superpower any longer and they certainly are not superior to American means of global conduct.  Anyone who is hiding behind this made-up Russian story of collusion is part of the problem. Russia can barely build a road let alone influence an American election.  They have their spies and their manipulations—as everyone does, but these are not James Bond villains from the 60s.  They are a country struggling to find their voice in a noisy world and they just don’t have the money to be a major player the way that Democrats are trying to portray.  Trump won the election because he was the better candidate and using a Russia story to cover up what a bunch of idiots they have been won’t help them.

It’s not Donald Trump’s fault that most of the people he’s dealing with are idiots—and criminals. And its time for his administration to start cutting off heads and firing people left and right—especially the Obama holdovers—Washington as a culture does not want to work with this president, so fire them all and bring in people who do.  The time for playing nice is over.  Trump tried, but he has been turned down, even by those in his own party.  It was pathetic to watch Republicans struggle with a healthcare debate vote—which for them it should have been easy.  The reason it wasn’t is why most of them need to go.  For the same reasons that many were upset that Trump ended last week a CIA program to fund terrorists in Syria—people like John McCain were against the move because they want a mess in the Middle East.  They don’t want to solve any problems, they want to make them so that their financial backers will continue to support their campaigns—it’s usually as simple as that.

Their financial backers have business in the chaos—that’s why they want politicians who create chaos in the first place.  That’s how the swamp was created.  Trump pulled out of the program because that essentially kills ISIS.  Do you know dear reader how much the bullets cost that you see those towel headed idiots shooting in the air in the Middle East?  They “ain’t” cheap, let me tell you that, and the terrorist aren’t paying for those bullets.  What are they going to buy them with—bread, dirt, and soiled baby cloths?  They have no economy in those regions to buy such things with—so who gives them the guns and bullets?  Trump knows what’s going on and to keep him from doing anything about it the Swamp has created this false Russian story to keep the chaos going.  The weapons are provided to them—in many cases by our own government to plant the seeds of chaos to have some leverage situation in the region.  Because Trump is doing things like that, opponents from both parties are getting behind this made up Russian story to attempt to stop him from doing more—and for the last six months it has kept the new president from getting to the meat and potatoes of the Beltway problems.

It’s time to prosecute Hillary Clinton, Loretta Lynch, Bill Clinton—Eric Holder, Barack Obama and all their staffs and supporters and to put their asses in front of the senate and to get to the real crimes that have been committed for which they are attempting to hide with all this chaos against Trump. And let’s not forget Lois Lerner.  Trump offered them all the olive branch and they chose war—so give it to them.  At this point nobody can call Trump a war monger, or an emperor of our republic because he sincerely tried not to be.  But the swamp took the first swipe and in order to do his job properly, he has to get aggressive.  I know he wanted to avoid that—but the other sided chose their path so now its time to pay.

Its one thing to play fair and to be “presidential,” but it’s quite another to take a compassionate stance while real villains filled with fangs intent to draw blood come at your family and drag them through the mud to prove a point and send a message.  Trump isn’t about to take that and I support him one hundred percent.  If he fired everyone in Washington D.C. I’d still be with him.  If he cut every budget by lobbying against this congress to get a better one in 2018, I would still support him.  It would anger me too if I were their father to see Don Jr. and Jared Kushner treated so terribly as they have been in an attempt to paint them into a defensive posture regarding Russia. They certainly don’t deserve it—the only crime they have committed was in being successful.  Successful international businessmen typically have relations with people all over the world—Russia included.  That does not define why Trump won the election.  The Democrats lost because they were terrible, corrupt, and just plain stupid.  And their Saul Alinsky tricks no longer work so they are completely lost as to what to do next.

The press picked their part in this and they too deserve what’s coming. They have sided with literally the villains in American politics and have positioned themselves for a complete failure.  That isn’t Trump’s fault, it’s theirs.  The Hollywood crowd has additionally placed their ideology outside of American sentiment—and they are paying for it at the box office.  If anyone was paying attention to the Comic Con 2017 in San Diego last weekend the mood was a retrofit of the 1980s again, people want to feel positive about things and the 1980s were a time of feeling good about America.  People crave to feel good about the team they are on and so far only Trump is offering that path in the 2020 period—forty years later.  Two projects, one from Steven Spielberg, and another from Netflix, Stranger Things II feature plotlines set against the back drop of the 1980s optimism for the future.  People in Middle America and elsewhere in the world do not want the dystopian vision that the Democrats have attempted to project in their grabs for a single payer option in health care and a society regressing back to nature.  They literally want to reach for the stars and if there is any single reason that Trump was elected over Democratic options it was that message of optimism behind the fighter that was struggling to explode forth.  It had nothing to do with Russia!  It was all about a vision and approach for the future.

We have a president of the United States right now who has written more best-selling books than anybody who has ever been in that office. He is a more complete person than has ever been in the executive branch and the people who have lived off chaos for so long know that the game is up.  Their only defense was to keep him on the ropes defending every little piece of nonsense they could think of daily.  But we’ve reached that saturation point.  Trump isn’t going to allow for all this to consume him and his family.  Once the media drug his family into it—it was over for them.  Trump doesn’t need the presidency to define his success as a person.  He already has that.  He became president over the traditional do nothings because of his accomplishments—so it’s a whole new game in politics—forever.

It may be painful for some, but Trump has to prosecute and terminate the employment of the Obama era holdovers and not worry about what the congress and senate thinks. Trump sincerely tried so now he can take an ax to it all and feel good about it.  The inability to do anything with healthcare while Republicans held all three houses was the final straw—and now its time to pay for everything.  And that starts with the Attorney General position prosecuting the real crimes that took place during the 2016 election.  It’s not out of spite that this must be done—it’s because the Democrats framed the argument and now that same measure must be applied to them.

Thinking Big, and Practically: A Hyperloop between New York and Washington D.C.

It wasn’t that surprising to me, because I’ve been talking about it for a while.  Do you remember dear reader all the stuff I’ve been saying about the Hyperloop?  Well, it’s happening too and only because Elon Musk is continuing to be one of America’s greatest outside the box thinkers who has the financial resources to act on those thoughts.  But the fact that we can even talk about the Hyperloop as a reality has only one person to thank, Donald J. Trump.  Without Trump in the White House a lot of bureaucrats would be looking for a way for Musk to grease the skids.  Now, with the swamp draining as we speak we are on a cultural trajectory to have Hyperloops all over the United States starting with the link between New York City and Washington D.C.  Can you imagine traveling that distance in under 30 minutes?  A lot of people suddenly became very excited to hear that news, and most of them were not Trump supporters.  This is what you get when you have people like Musk in your country with a supportive White House.  Just read Donald Trump’s books, How to Think Like s Billionaire along with Think Big and Kick Ass, and it will be very easy to understand what, why, and how Elon Musk put up this Tweet much to the surprise of the mayors of several of the included cities.

The swamp creatures of bureaucracy want their take, but Trump and Musk are moving well beyond the speed of those people and as we speak Trump is beating them in the public relations battle.  By the time the Boring Company presents its proposals for digging underneath cities like New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore and of course Washington D.C. Trump’s team will have destroyed and replaced many of the figures who would otherwise stand against this project—so you can mark it on your calendar, this will get done.

People need to understand that all this controversy in the media about Trump/Russia, and polling numbers and legislative stalls are not a problem for Trump.  It sounds noisy now, but he has the situation under control.  The bureaucrats are not going to win against a Trump White House.  They may stall.  They may try to delay the inevitable, but Trump just has too many resources and works too hard to apply them for him to fail.  Having Trump in the White House puts him in a position to speak to people like Musk and to be essentially the most powerful lobbyist in Washington D.C. which is what Musk needed from the beginning.  Before, Musk would have had to lobby congress and the White House to get some pin head to even understand how the Hyperloop is different from a typical train.  But Trump gets it and knows what to do with good information when it comes his way.

For way too long we have allowed unproductive know-nothings to stand between us and the future and things have just stalled out technologically.  The following link is interesting in how it shows over time how deregulation of the phone industry and the introduction of the Internet allowed for smart phones to evolve to where they are today.  A lot of people forget that it was only ten years ago that the iPhone first came on the scene—but all that occurred because technology happened faster than politicians could crush innovation with their top heavy lumbering bureaucracy.  Regulators can be a good thing to make an industry safer, but often the kind of people who perform those jobs are cowardly people by nature and they love to have control over dreamers like Elon Musk.  So digging massive holes under all these cities and building a new transportation system that goes over 700 MPH is something they’d love to stop because it gives them power over  genius.  Those are the type of people who presently hate the Trump presidency and are doing anything they can to stop the changes that are happening literally right now.

Anthony Scaramucci is now taking over in Trump’s White House as the top communications official.  Trump met with Scaramucci recently and liked him so much that he put him immediately into the job.  Sean Spicer resigned to give Scaramucci a clean plate and just like that our new White House will be moving into phase 2 right at the 6 month mark.  The first phase of course was typical of any business dealing.  Trump enters the White House and softens up everyone with aggression.  Then when everyone is reeling he offers them an olive branch—which is what Scaramucci is—that is the “art of the deal.”

They are then happy and responsive to what the White House provides to the public.  So as Trump and Musk talked about the Hyperloop they were talking about things that would happen in step 4 as if those things already happened.  It’s just that the rest of the world isn’t there yet.  They will be and before they know it there will be a Hyperloop between New York and D.C.  It’s a good deal; Musk needs to get the Hyperloop rolling in America so he can convince California to put one between San Francisco and Los Angeles.  Trump needs to enhance America’s infrastructure with something that is more “Trumpian.’ It was in these kinds of things that provoked Trump to run for office in the first place—so he’s not going to let this die on the vine.

As much as the media hates Trump by watching these videos did you notice how quickly they suddenly became excited?  That’s how Trump will eventually leave office.  All these silly things talked about today will long be forgotten when people are getting daily news reports from places like the Moon and traveling across the country on Hyperloops at speeds over 700 MPH.  If left to the pin-heads in our bureaucratic culture something like the Hyperloop would take 50 years and cost trillions of dollars.  But if left to the private sector it will only take 5 years and only cost billions, which will be recovered by the technology of a new transportation industry and in the end that’s all people will really remember.

What’s different now than really at any point prior is that these characters are not ideologically political.  Musk obviously has many leftist leanings, but he is a capitalist by the nature of all his companies which are quite good and operate well.  Trump is a pretty hard lined conservative compared to Musk, but he’s good enough in business to be able to have relationships with people who are not like him ideologically.  Just as Scaramucci has more liberal leanings than a Midwest Republican he is an effective communicator and can sell a lot of the things that Trump wants to do so we are truly entering a new phase of American thinking and it’s very exciting.  Honestly I’m very happy about it.  I don’t care that people think the way I do about things as long as they are being productive and moving the ball of the human race forward—not with political philosophy, but in human achievement.  The political philosophy comes as an off-shoot of an emerging society.  We should not build an emerging society off a political philosophy then use regulation to preserve that philosophy.  Instead, what Musk and Trump are doing will shape our civilization with an optimism that can only come from a couple of dreamers who have the financial resources to think big and the political clout to make it happen.  And finally we have both in the White House and things will begin to happen rapidly—for a change!

Who Cares about John McCain’s Brain Tumor: Having the courage to repeal Obamacare

Who cares that John McCain has a brain tumor? Why would it surprise anyone that an 80-year-old man who has been in bad health since his 20s would have some ailment—and why was Barack Obama so quick to comment about it? Of course, I don’t wish anything bad on John McCain, but just because he’s sick doesn’t make him any less of a part of the problem. Let’s not forget that it was McCain who got involved in the scandalous dossier on Donald Trump giving it to James Comey and that at every turn the former Republican presidential candidate behaves more like a Democrat that wants war all over the world than a tightly controlled spending conservative. Could it be that Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama know that McCain is that critical 50th vote in repealing Obamacare and that if they can turn the nation’s sympathies toward a sick old senator who happens to need “healthcare” at the moment that they might undo Trump’s work at removing the government from healthcare all together with a repeal of Obama’s signature legislation of socialist medicine. I wasn’t born yesterday—I’ve been around the block a few times and that’s the only reason so many people poured on the juice of sympathy for old John McCain. McCain is the plug in the swamp and you have to get rid of people like him to drain that swamp. It’s one thing to feel sorry for a person with a brain tumor. It’s quite another to use him as a shield of sympathy to protect Obamacare from repeal in a cowardly senate.

Rob Portman is another disgrace. To think that I actually once knew him and campaigned for him back when he first won his seat for the second congressional district back in 1993. Back then like a lot of young politicians Rob was full of conviction and wanted to do the right things. When he first won that seat, Rob was a virtuous character who operated like a Tea Party candidate—he in fact hung around with the Ross Perot Reform Party voters who obviously became Donald Trump supporters many years later. Now that he’s a beltway boy he hangs with RINOs like John McCain and John Kasich who want to spread Medicaid in the states and deepen that entitlement to the point where people are hooked and can never get off it. They are like drug dealers seeking to get people addicted to government so they will forever be dependent—so that government will always have a part to play in people’s lives centering from the Beltway. Portman is another no vote for the repeal of Obamacare because it was in Ohio where Kasich expanded Medicaid making Barack Obama very happy. All it took for John to cave was a serious defeat of Senate Bill 5 and a golf game with Obama and Biden to lose his nerve and become a major loser. And Portman has his back as a “compassionate conservative” from the land of Ohio. But the Republican party doesn’t belong to Kasich any more in Ohio. It belongs to Trump. Those boys are on the wrong side of history.

Then there are the three Republican women, Susan Collins, Shelley Moore Capito and Lisa Murkowski who talked tough and voted to repeal Obamacare when they all knew that Obama would veto the effort. Now that Trump will sign it, they are acting like—well—a bunch of girls. They can’t make a decision, they don’t want to pick a side, and they lack the courage to stand by their convictions. Just like John McCain’s brain tumor, it’s not their fault they are of the female sex—but it is their fault if they yield to the stereotype and fit the bill for being a bunch of confused idiots. They want to sound like tough conservatives until they have to make a decision. What they really want is to appeal to everyone—just like a typical loser Democrat and that is holding up very needed legislation to put free market influence back into the medical profession.

Is some of what I said a bit too harsh—about John McCain, Rob Portman and the weak girls of the Senate—maybe if we were more concerned with being sensitive than in doing what is right. All these people hide behind some demographic factor to conceal their liberal natures—McCain a sick old war veteran, Portman a guy who found out his kid was gay, and the ladies, people who as women have some mythical right to see all sides of a story so that nobody can ever make a decision—we are supposed to give them a pass because they are women?

There are a million excuses from these very weak people not to act on the massive insurrection that Obamacare always was—some hide behind their illnesses, some hide behind challenges to their conservative thinking by family members, and some hide behind their sex—but they are all wrong and hiding fundamental flaws in their personalities. They are using “circumstances” to avoid making hard decisions about matters critical to our country and it was disgraceful that one of the first people to do so was the former president of the United States, Barack Obama protecting his pathetic socialist care entitlement designed to crush our free market health care system—which has so far been successful.

Brain tumor or not, McCain has a job to do. We don’t need a bunch of fluffy memorials to distract us from the needs at hand. McCain needs to vote to repeal Obamacare, not to use his condition to delay a vote further and hope that everyone will lose their resolve and move on to something else while the world of finance around health care burns into oblivion, because that’s happening right now. McCain’s brain tumor is just a medical condition. It should not stop the wheels of progress by any means.

I have news for those standing against the Trump agenda. If you consider where things were one year ago from this writing then project another year of progress from this date into the future, people like McCain, Portman, Kasich and Collins—along with other never-Trump types like Glenn Beck and all of Hollywood—they are all missing the boat. Trump is moving on and doing so rapidly. He doesn’t take vacations. He doesn’t sleep. He never gets tired and he thinks of ideas a mile a minute—ever day—even on Sundays. He’s doing many good things and has literally changed the political world in only a year. Another year of this and things will be completely different. Silly tricks like this health care stunt and hoping to put a story on John McCain for a week or so to delay a healthcare vote in the Senate just isn’t going to work. Trump won’t let it go. This idea is not going to fade off into the sunset only to be consumed and buried in the Washington swamp. If they were smart, they’d vote to repeal now and consolidate their efforts behind President Trump. If McCain wants to fix his brain tumor, then fix it. But vote—and vote Republican. Otherwise, get the hell out-of-the-way. At 80 years old, nobody expects a specimen of health—but we do expect a Republican if you put an “R” next to your name. And with that “R” we expect courage—not a bunch of wishy-washy liberals.

D23 Reveals the new Star Wars Land: Where science and technology meets mythology and imagination

I’ve been saying it for quite a long time and for fun you should go back and read what I first said about this topic way back in October of 2012—but this year at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California Disney finally unveiled their elaborate plans for Star Wars Land.  The immense impact that I think this has on the human race is incalculable.  It’s not just another revenue stream for Disney’s massive media company, it is a launching point for new ways in thinking about mankind’s role in the cosmos and it is a jaw dropping culmination of imagination, engineering and philosophical debate all splashed down into a reality created from myth to be shaped by minds into an actual future.  What they revealed to me at D23 exceeded my expectations by a lot and it is certainly worth talking about.

I remember when I was a kid what it was like to ride the submarine at Disney World way back in the early 80s for the 20 Thousand Leagues Under the Sea exhibit.  It was I thought really well done.  I loved that Jules Verne classic both in novelization and the Disney film and it was very fascinating to me as a young pre-teen to see that ship in some scale that represented reality.  To be up close to it, to touch it, to ride inside it as it went slightly under water was something I’ll never forget.   And that was the case for much of Disney World back then, I had seen all these movies and at the early days of the Disney World’s Magic Kingdom before even the Epcot Center was built really launched me into adult pursuits mixed with adventure, a very detailed love of engineering, entrepreneurship, and literacy.   Even though I knew the exhibits were not real it always fascinated me to the level that Disney Imagineering was able to simulate what the imagination could create and apply real engineering marvel to those creations taking our minds from conception to reality.

I’ve always loved Star Wars maybe more because of how the movies were made than in what the stories actually said.  Most of my youth I watched and read of how my favorite movies were made and Star Wars filled my mind with technical details of how simple things were made into big things to make those films appear to be set in a galaxy far, far away a long time ago.  Largely, Star Wars was shaped by the Imagineering at Disney World because what they were able to do early on at Disney was carried directly into the production of Star Wars so the enormous market potential created by Disney Imagineering is really incalculable.  It is extremely difficult to know how deeply our modern society has been affected by just the very rudimentary exposure that we’ve seen in technology from 1970 until the present.   So by applying the same trajectory of thought, what they have been exploring in “Imagineering” at Disney over just the last decade is truly uncharted ground.  There are literally millions of young people inspired into the sciences by their experiences at these amusement parks.

When Universal Studios did their multipark Harry Potter experience I knew that we were unlocking a whole new theme park experience.    If Disney World set the stage for how these theme parks took movie magic and made them into a reality then Universal Studios took things to the next level and what they did in Orlando at Universal Studios with the literature of Harry Potter, first from the books then to the movie experience was just phenomenal, and it continues to be.   A visit to Universal Studios in Orlando is a trip into the imaginary worlds that Jules Verne and H.G. Wells could have never comprehended as a reality for young people.  And if you visit the NASA complex at the Kennedy Space Center you’ll quickly see how much reverence they have for the author Jules Verne.  The book From the Earth to the Moon framed early engineers and scientists at NASA and the rocket program before the space agency was created, into flying to the moon.   The human imagination is a very powerful tool and many of the products we see today are a direct result of our ability to think then make those imaginings into some sort of reality.

Well, Star Wars went several steps further in what had previously been done with imaginative thinking and once Disney acquired the property I had a feeling they would do something with Star Wars that would put it on a grand scale.  And now, at D23, they have shown us the model of what they are building—a 14 acre deep dive into the depths of extreme imagination.  The Disney Imagineers have been given a free hand to create something with Lucasfilm that will take visitors not only into the films that are so popular, but into a story they can then invest in themselves.   These Disney people weren’t just trying to duplicate some memorable events from the movies but they are going several steps further—and what they are coming up with will have explosive results on our human population.  I can only imagine what impact it will have on young minds visiting these Star Wars Lands in both Anaheim, and Orlando by having their minds ignited toward careers spawned from that experience.

You have to remember dear reader that while all this Star Wars stuff is going on at Disney, in new movies, theme park worlds and video games, NASA has been given the green light to return to space working with the private industry.   President Trump literally wants to return to the moon just a year after Disney opens up this new Star Wars Land—so space is going to be on everyone’s minds very soon.  I can say that I’m presently looking at what role I can play in this new space race as a grown adult.  There will be opportunities to build hotels and factories in space, on the Moon and on Mars over the next twenty years so for me as an adult it will be very fun, and stimulating to visit Star Wars Land and bridge reality to what the imagination has come up with there.  The idea of space ports interacting with many different species coming together over a vast galaxy is a strong philosophic concept that must be reconciled before actual science takes us to those places—and as the news of these phenomenal events begin to fill our basic reality soon, these fantastic theme parks are literally going to inspire us in ways that From the Earth to the Moon couldn’t.  I don’t think these Star Wars Lands are just for fun and excess—I think they will actually advance our technology and science by inspiring young people in ways that we’ve never experienced as a species thus far in our evolution.

I always enjoy the news that comes out of D23 and other science and fantasy conventions whether the topics are theme parks or from Fantasy Flight Games where our imaginations are stretched out for comprehension of new ideas massaged in brand new ways.  But this year is quite different.  If you combine the science and imagination of what Disney has been planning now for over five years—from when I first wrote about this story—with the optimism of the Trump presidency—we are talking about some very special days ahead for us all.  Even those who don’t think much of the Star Wars movies will find that the basic spill over of that fantasy will flow directly into our science of tomorrow—and THAT is a very exciting prospect that leaves me hungry for each new day and what might be revealed yet to come.

When the Lights Go Out: The difference between “us” and “them”

Did you ever notice how when either in a school or a place of business that when a storm comes and knocks out the lights some people clap? Then there are others—usually an extreme minority who try to continue to do their work next to a flashlight or a candle?  This has always been a baffling concept to me, that people would be so happy to be relieved of their work that they could return their minds to a thoughtless existence talking about some television show, new pop song, or about some peer who isn’t present in the form of gossip.  People who clap when the lights go out are people who are essentially afraid of action and thought because they don’t want the responsibility of accomplishment.  They are essentially lazy people who struggle through life avoiding problems until the ultimate happens—all their problems catch up and destroy their life.  Then they wonder why they are unhealthy, unhappy, and why nobody wants to be around them—because they are essentially negative people.

People who clap when the lights go out are people who are looking for an excuse not to live—which essentially makes them evil—(evil is live spelled backwards). They are anti-life and are the type of people who can’t be trusted with much of anything and are always looking to make trouble.  Typically they are second-handers in life—those who live by the actions of others but usually they disguise their tendencies behind little emergencies like the lights going out, or they had a flat tire, or that it was raining.  They work harder at not doing things than actually doing things because they find the threat of responsibility much more terrifying than the work in avoiding things.

You can often tell who will clap when the lights go out by those people who complain that it’s “Monday” or utter at 4 PM on a Friday, “TGIF.” They are the same people who put “hump day” on their Facebook posting revealing that they are happy the week is half over.  These are the people in life who make it terrible for all those who enjoy life and have an optimistic view of it because it’s those who work hard even when the lights go out that carry the rest of those idiots while they hide their tendency toward inaction behind an emergency situation which they are always silently praying for.

These same people are the ones who say, “the devil is in the details,” because they hope to slow things down by getting everyone to look for that devil so they can stand to the side and avoid action. If they stall long enough maybe something will get pushed to Monday buying them a weekend to avoid the inevitable.  And on Friday night they drink to forget and to ease the pain of their life from the pressure they always feel they are under.  Those kids who grow up in school hoping the bus gets stuck in the snow, or clapping when there is a power outage are the same people who grow up drunk on the weekends because they can’t hack the pressure of living, and they don’t have the fortitude within them to always look for ways to solve problems no matter how bad things are.

People who like to work so much that they don’t let emergencies stop them are the people who make America great.  It is not the people who clap when the lights go out.  It is the people who look for a lighter in their pocket or a flashlight so they can continue reading or writing something when darkness arrives.  They don’t let the darkness stop them.  They work on weekends, they work in the middle of the week and Monday is just another day to them.  A democracy will never work in any political system so long as there are people who clap when the lights go off, and there are only one or two people who pull out their flashlights to continue working.  We are not all equal.  Some of us look for every reason to not do something while others try to squeeze every moment of life for the richest possible of goodness available.  Those who insist otherwise are those who clap when the lights go out.  Or hope for a snow day to keep them from having to attend work.

There is a reason that professional sports are so popular. Sitting in the stands while other people perform on the field is the prefect job for people who clap when the lights go out.  All they have to do is just sit there and watch other people do things—and that makes them happy.  Some of them are so arrogant that they believe all that is required of them is that they buy a jersey and attend a game and that they have somehow made an investment toward the success of that franchise.  When their team losses they get very upset and speak as if they made some grand investment that would justify their anger.  But they are just sitting in the stands waiting for the lights to go out so they can hide the fact that they are fearful of life, and always hoping that they can jump on to someone elses success at the last moment and share in the heroic efforts.  When a professional team is winning these fans say “we.”  When those teams are losing they say, “they.”

Government is filled with people who love it when the lights go out. They love it when there are funding talks and government shut downs—because they like to not work and have someone else to blame for their lack of productivity.  They hide in bureaucracy so that nobody would ever blame them for doing nothing because the invented details of muddled thinking allow them to appear majestic when they are essentially cowardly people waiting for death to ultimately take way the responsibility for living from them.  They aim to slide through life from excuse to excuse until it all ends and they can then blame God, or even the universe for their sad, pathetic existence.

That anything happens at all it is from the private sector where there are handfuls of people who still work when the lights go out, or whether its Wednesday or Saturday—every day hold the promise of something new if only they can solve this, this and this problem.  In fact solving problems is what makes them happy which is why they look for a light when they go out to continue working.  It drives them.  It is they who make the lights work in the first place.  Without those types of people there would be perpetual darkness and a string of excuses from here until the dawn of mankind.  Nothing would ever happen because always a majority of the people clap when the lights go out and only a very few look for alternatives to continue their work.

It is quite obvious what is going on with the Trump presidency—Trump and his family are a light. They always have been and the people of their core associations are of the same type.  But Washington D.C. has a culture that is nearly entirely made up of people who always have clapped when the lights went out for whatever reason.  And those people don’t like it that Trump is in the White House putting light everywhere and making people work even when the lights are turned off, and there are tornado warnings as well.  Trump won’t let those who like to hide in the dark continue doing so, so they are doing everything they can to push back at the light.  And that’s just not acceptable.  Trump was elected by people who like to work to push away the influences of those who don’t from ruining the world further.  It’s no longer fashionable to clap when the lights go out and no longer allowed to be one of those people who use chaos to hide their laziness.  Those people have been exposed and are now required to act or be run over—and that is essentially what is driving our world today.  And that’s not going to change.
