‘What Happened’: Hillary’s new book is like her, boring, pretentious, and defensive

A lot of times you can judge a book by its cover, even though they tell you that you shouldn’t.  In Hillary Clinton’s case you can look at her new book, What Happened, and get the answer just by looking at it. It’s ironic that the symbol of the Democratic Party is an ass, because Hillary made asses of everyone she knew by even writing the book.  She has said enough ahead of its release to tell the entire story and it is a disgraceful one.  I’m sure I’ll read it when I find it at the flea market for 50 cents a few years from now when everyone has long forgotten the corrupt politician from Arkansas.   And I’ll read it while my wife is buying us some hot dogs for lunch, because books like Hillary’s are easy reads.  The book itself is like the politician Clinton, boring, defensive, and pretentious.  If the media didn’t carry Hillary Clinton so openly a book like What Happened would never get shelf space at Barnes and Nobel because even at the level of cover design, it looks like a child designed it.

Shockingly, what Hillary has revealed about What Happened is that everyone but her was to blame.   She can’t seem to fathom that people didn’t like her, and that her message was horrendous.  Somehow someone told her that all she had to do was show up as a woman and she’d be the president.  After all, when she quit the job as Secretary of State after the Benghazi trouble to preserve her run for the Executive Office everyone knew what she was doing.  Everyone knew when she moved to New York so she could run for the senate that she was setting the stage for an eventual run for the White House.  She went through all the motions just like she eventually did on the campaign and assumed that people wanted her.   What really happened to her campaign was that nobody did.  Nobody I know wanted to vote for her—and I don’t just speak to people who are conservatives.  Hillary was a bad candidate who committed crimes that we could all see.  Not only was she boring, but she was a criminal.  Those aren’t good ingredients for winning a vote that measures popularity at the ballot box.

The powers in charge of politics in 2016 couldn’t even hand her a win even though they sure tried. She was so unlikable and sick—physically—that even with the media at her back in extraordinary ways, she couldn’t build up any excitement for her message.   When she rented out the Javits Center on election night to show that women could break the glass ceiling of power using that place as a metaphor she showed then and there she had no idea what was going on in her own campaign. The values she had were not those of the American people, but of a small group of progressive American insurgents who craved something that too many people saw as dangerous to American ideas.

Yes there were enough brain-dead dope smoking slugs in the inner cities to make Hillary look competitive in any election.  But that doesn’t tell the whole story of the nation.  Try going to the big sky country of South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming and Nevada and you’d be hard pressed to find a Hillary voter unless they were lost along the highway because they didn’t know how to change a flat tire.  Stupid people were Hillary’s supporters and there just weren’t enough of them—that’s what happened, and why she lost.  Only an idiot was buying what she was selling.

What’s even more shocking about this book is that she reveals essentially that this is the end of the line for her—her desire to do a tell all book slamming virtually everyone she knows shows that she understands this is it.  She has no fund-raising power any more.  The Clinton Foundation which was always crooked from the start has been exposed for what it was.  It will never have power and influence again.  What Happened may be a mystery to Hillary Clinton, but it was obvious to the rest of us when the book Clinton Cash was released in the summer of 2016.  Or the movie, Hillary’s America.    What Happened was that her past filled with criminal activity caught up with her and due to her high-profile during the election cycle all those things were dredged up into the light of day.  It wasn’t the Russians who killed her campaign. It was John Podesta and the stupid people who worked on her campaign.  It was her corrupt DNC which tried to rig the election to favor her, but got caught.  It was her FBI case for which the director even gave her a free get out of jail free card to make his boss Loretta Lynch happy—who happened to be a Clinton era appointee as a judge.  Even Fox News tried to set her up to be the president—they started covering her campaign literally in 2013 for her 2016 run.  She was on Fox News every day as the anticipated nominee for three solid years covered legitimately and she still blew it.

Like her book, Hillary Clinton is just a boring person.  The white and blue cover design in simple block shapes that look like a self published book made by a fifth grade ass kissing teacher’s pet—nothing risky or thought provoking—the font is even un-dramatic.   It assumes people will buy the book because “it’s her.”  Just like she thought she’d win that night at the Javits Center.   The book is like everyone involved just went through the motions, just like her campaign and the end product was convoluted mess, boring and pretentious.

Everyone knew Hillary was in trouble when she failed to stand up at a 9/11 ceremony in New York and had to be rushed to her daughter’s apartment to recover away from the media.  She was a sick old lady in addition to being boring.  What Happened was that she couldn’t take the heat that day, or the pressure of a tight campaign?  People had told her that she’d be a clear favorite and for some reason she was in a close race and she just couldn’t face her dreams being challenged by a business guy from New York—whom none of the usual dirty tricks in politics were working against.  She just couldn’t figure it out as her team tried desperately to put a stick up her pant suit just to hold her up.  The media couldn’t have been kinder to her yet she still lashed out at Matt Lauer because he didn’t cave enough to her needs and it allowed Donald Trump to look superior to her.  It never crossed her progressive mind that he just was better than her.  He was more competent, and people could see it, and given a choice, they went with Trump as president.

Being a progressive who supports giving out trophies in school just for participating, Hillary Clinton was never groomed to weather competition.  She was taught that being part of the political aristocracy that things would be easy for her—that’s why she married Bill Clinton and rode his coat tails to the White House the first time, and hoped that it would be enough to carry her to her own run to be the first woman in the Executive Branch.  She apparently never considered that being a woman wasn’t enough—she was expected to know things and to actually be competent.  Can you imagine dear reader what it would be like if she was president right now, with three hurricanes hitting the United States in three weeks, war with North Korea looming on the horizon and a hostile congress to deal with in a fourth quarter filled with challenges that would make most people’s heads explode with stress.  What Happened was that people could see that Hillary Clinton was a loser trying to use her sexual orientation to win the most powerful seat of power in the world, and they said no.  And nowhere in that new book does she deal with that problem—which is why she lost, and why she is now thankfully, out of power.

Of course the FBI doesn’t want people to see the Clinton Files: They are guilty of hiding her crimes

Likely the same polling firm that thinks Donald Trump’s approval numbers are below 40% is the one that advised the FBI that there was no public interest in revealing the files they had on the former presidential candidate and government thug—Hillary Clinton. Because the FBI isn’t p of the Oval Office, and that they were hedging their bets for their own self-interest. We now know that James Comey purposely let Hillary Clinton off the hook during the email investigation to release those files citing a lack of ‘public interest.’ Well, everyone I know wants to see how the FBI colluded with the Clinton campaign to shut down the investigation into her email scandal—and let’s face it, that is the real reason that government investigative agency is hiding the information—because its embarrassing to them. They never conceived that Donald Trump would end up president and figured Hillary would be the next occupant in the White House so they altered their investigation into her handling of classified data—which was very important at the time since she was seeking a job for the American people who required great handling of classified information. In many ways thinking by means of competency—not criminally—the FBI investigation was supposed to show that she had problems and if the Democratic Party had listened, they would have still had time to try out another candidate. Instead, the villains of the system collaborated to unleash a massive conspiracy that was completely unnecessary only to arrive at this slow leak of detrimental information.

This information is detrimental because it shows that the FBI cannot be trusted—which many of us suspected. But all this just confirms the truth, which is disappointing. Regardless of their apprehension to release those files on Hillary Clinton Wikileaks has promised to release them anyway, so the public will likely get a chance to see them for themselves—and that will really be embarrassing for the FBI. What’s even worse is that given what we know now about the Trump presidency it is very obvious that the leaks which have emerged trying to derail his efforts have come from our intelligence agency—because the behavior of the FBI shows a much more systemic problem that umbrellas out over all government agencies supposedly doing work for the American people.

In many ways, this doesn’t surprise me and I wish it did. People often refer to James Comey as a Boy Scout with honesty to match and that reference has always bothered me because I know all too well what that likely means perception wise. I don’t talk about it much but the primary reason I write on this site every day is because I grew up loving westerns and part of me always wanted to be a sheriff when I grew up. I am actually too ambitious to limit myself to law and order because those things are defined usually by the efforts of politicians, which I think are half-baked people to begin with. While I enjoy simple people like Sheriff Joe Arpaio who live modestly and honestly, I always knew I wanted a more complex and dynamic life. But to satisfy my law and order side, I write so I can live the rest of the parts of my life the way I want. What sealed the deal for me was long ago when I was a prominent member in the Explorer’s community—which was an off-shoot of the Boy Scouts for older kids. I was in a high adventure group which was designed to train kids for occupations that involved “high adventure” like mountain climbing, global exploration and park services. But most Explorer Post groups were to train young people for fire fighting and police work.

Each year we had competitions at a camp just outside Loveland along the Little Miami River where all the Cincinnati area explorer posts competed with each other in various events, like obstacle courses, tug of wars, soft ball tournaments and other activities. We all showed up and camped in our respective areas and would compete and socialize for the entire weekend. I found the people in the fire and police Explorer Posts to be repugnant. They were power-hungry people—all of them—from the leadership down to the 13-year-old kids who wanted to grow up to be a police officer. They were not the good people who our society needed to believe them to be. I always understood that law enforcement was a necessary element to our society, but the people attracted to it tended to be insecure by nature and craving the power of the badge or they were using the role of the job to keep from themselves a tendency toward villainy. I learned a lot about people attracted to the law enforcement profession from my days in the Explorer Post and the impression was not a very high one.

Once I learned what type of people I was dealing with I had a lot of fun working their natures against themselves and the competitions during those summer months were pretty fierce. I took that feedback from them with me to the rest of my life. I understand the need for law enforcement but I don’t feel a need to salute them whenever I see them. They get paid to do a job, but they certainly aren’t gods on earth. They are extensions of our politicians and I don’t have a very high impression of them either, so it comes to no surprise to me at all to learn that the CIA, the FBI, Homeland Security, and the NSA are filled with perverts, losers and power-hungry despots who craved those occupations not because they wanted to become the next Elliot Ness—but because they were fighting in their own natures the tendency to become Frank Nitti. Given the opportunity most people in law enforcement are too tempted to use the privileges to power that they have to act responsibly, and they are prone to bribery and political persuasion if they think doing such a thing will advance their cause.

James Comey broke the law by not prosecuting Hillary Clinton so to preserve her run for president. When she lost Comey and the intelligence community sought actively to undermine the White House of Donald Trump—right out of the gate. They hardly attempted to hide their hostility. And the reason the FBI refuses to let people see the Clinton files isn’t because of some poll. It is because they are guilty of crimes and they fear the retaliation from the public if the truth gets out. It would be foolish to believe that they are not corrupt because they work in service as law enforcement officials. They are more likely to be guilty of such things than most people in general. I/m not saying we need to throw the baby out with the bathwater, but we do need to always be cautious when dealing with them. Always keep your eye on their gun, because they are more than willing to use it—and it doesn’t matter what color you are. They love authority in law enforcement and will abuse it in a New York minute. Especially if they think they can get something out of it. The FBI obviously thought they were getting something out of Hillary—so they lied and hid the truth. And those files tell us so—which is why they don’t want us to see them.

Standing With Joe Arpaio and President Trump: Believe me liberals, RINOS, and ANTIFA thugs–you want the protection of law and order–those guys are your friends

It is extremely sad that anyone would consider the pardon of Sheriff Joe Arpaio as “controversial,” or that they would think anything poor of President Trump for doing so.  We all knew at the time that the Obama administration was abusing the Justice Department as a personal ideological weapon that had become radicalized under Eric Holder and that Arpaio was the target of government aggression issued completely unjustified.  It was clearly a case then of government abuse of authority that was transitory only by the Obama administration specifically.  As a sheriff for over 40 years in Arizona Arpaio had seen it all and was committed to the law has it had been and he did the right thing to stand up to the radicalism of the Obama Justice Department.  What he did was much less severe than what entire cities are doing against President Trump now with the sanctuary city debate and the refusal to respect the executive orders on the travel bans.  All Arpaio did was continue enforcing a law which protected his community from the overwhelming force of one of the most dangerous borders in the world where on one side his constituents resided and on the other the most crime ridden nation on earth.   Here is how Fox News reported it:

President Trump granted a pardon to Joe Arpaio, the former sheriff of Maricopa County, Ariz., on Friday.

Arpaio, 85, was recently found guilty of criminal contempt for defying a judge’s order to stop traffic patrols that allegedly targeted immigrants.

He had been charged with misdemeanor contempt of court for allegedly willfully defying a judge’s order in 2011 and prolonging his patrols for another 17 months.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2017/08/25/sheriff-joe-arpaio-wins-pardon-from-trump.html

At 85 years old Trump couldn’t wait until the end of his term to pardon Arpaio from a bunch of made-up charges—because the man would likely be 93 years old by then.  And the Sheriff has some more to give in this fight for justice and he can start by challenging the seat of Jeff Flake from Arizona. It wouldn’t hurt to see Arpaio primary out Flake so that a friendlier Republican could be elected to the Senate.   Who cares about the optics as they are established by a hostile media intent to overthrow our country into an abyss created by the previous administration.  Clearly the government was wrong in what it did to Arpaio but what is astonishing is that more Republicans did not come to his defense.  That is where Trump understands that part of the problem in Making American Great Again comes in weeding out the weak Republicans from the strong and Arpaio can still help in that process.  So by clearing the good Sheriff’s name now there is a good chance at pushing out a weak Republican in favor of a strong one in the Senate—and that’s where the real controversy stirs.  We’re not talking about law breaking or morality, we’re talking about the swamp protecting itself from Donald Trump draining it when we see that any discussion about Arpaio is “controversial.”

Anyone standing against the Arpaio pardon is part of the problem.  This is not one America right now, and in order to get there, tough things will have to happen and some people are going to be very disappointed.  Arpaio should have never been placed under scrutiny to begin with, which is problem number one.  The purposeful abolishment of our immigration laws to inspire more border violence and an erosion of American sovereignty was a tactical obedience to a domestic hostility that was unwarranted in our history which deserves conflict.   When a hostile entity challenges American happiness with deliberate incursions such things must be met with force, not a bunch of docile Republicans holding hands with insurgent Democrats just to keep the peace for the public eye.  We’re not just going to let these forces take over our country.  We’d be fools to do so, and speaking for myself, I’m not a fool.

I’ve always considered myself a Republican even in the Tea Party days where being a libertarian seemed to be the flavor of the day and people like Glenn Beck were pushing such things.  I was never one to throw my efforts behind Ron Paul or his son Rand.  There are platform things about their movement that I liked, but I could never fully get behind them as candidates for president.  The support of  recreational drugs and lack of global intervention are problems for me because with both come villainy that is often best defined through Christian lenses and someone needs to stop the bullies of the world—otherwise they end up on our doorsteps.  I see the Republican Party as the last great hope of mankind to advance to a new level of civilization and that all other forces from RINOs to communists functioning from the progressive Democrats are working to take us all back to the Vico Cycle through anarchy to the point of theocracy, aristocracy, democracy then back to anarchy every 2000 years or so.  Literally the Republican Party emerged and exists to challenge this endless cycle of human destruction and rebirth.  Republican ideas came to the human race to advance mankind, not to regress it.  It is through Trump that we have our best hope of evolving—and most current Republicans are not up to the fight—and they have always needed to be replaced.

Through the Tea Party many of us have gone to work at replacing weak Republicans and inserting strong ones. That is what happened in 2016 but it has been going on since 2009 essentially.  Rand Paul, Ted Cruz and many other Republicans have come about under the Tea Party flag to weed out weaklings like John Kasich, John Boehner, Eric Canter and many others in favor of more “Republican” representatives without losing our majorities in the House and Senate, and that process is continuing.  John McCain and Jeff Flake both from Arizona are a couple more Republicans that need to be removed so that we can have “proper” conservatives in our Senate and not weak-kneed pacifists who buckle before the hostilities of ANTIFA and other leftist groups with appeasement—strengthening domestic enemies against American concepts—personal freedom, integrity and innovation.

Given all that it is still amazing that there were Republicans who openly spoke out against Trump over the Arpaio pardon—Republicans should be extremely thankful that they have a person like Joe Arpaio in their party and that they have a president who will stand by him even when the liberalized media was intent to make the situation painful.  Courage under fire should be appreciated, and at least respected.  We know who the thugs are in our society and we’ve witnessed them obtaining public offices and abusing their power and we’ve managed for the most part to peacefully remove them from office and replace them with good people.  Trump in this case was the law and order candidate and he was inserted as a peaceful way to restore law and order.  Believe me liberals, ANTIFA thugs and other losers from the Left, you want the protection of law and order—because you don’t want a raw conflict with real conservatives.  Don’t come to my neighborhood with sticks, piss and bats and think you’re going to get away with what you do on the liberal campus of Berkley.  That’s not going to happen where you don’t end up in the hospital.  Trust me, you want law and order—it’s the best friend you have.  Sheriff Joe Arpaio has always been a man of the law and lawless anarchy came knocking on his door which he refused to accept. For that he was punished and threatened quite audaciously—and we couldn’t stand for that.  Part of the reason Trump was elected was because people like Joe Arpaio were being abused—let’s make that clear.  For people who do not stand behind this pardon—it is obvious what side of the battle you are on, and it is they who we must replace in the upcoming election cycles.  Because they are not working for the country—they are working toward the destruction of it.

Transference: The woman in the kitchen

People really should read Dinesh D’Souza’s new book The Big Lie.  It’s truly well done and surprisingly packed with information. I say that because I have read a lot of these types of modern political books and I seldom learn much from them but in this one I have learned quite a lot.  I would attribute that to something that D’Souza has uncovered that is exploding before our eyes, and that is this propensity of our collective society to function from a mass psychological trauma induced onto us from our early educations and that is to function from a gross case of mass transference.  Transference psychologically speaking is when a villain claims to be the hero or vice versa and shockingly it was on full display at the C-SPAN event shown below where Dinesh debated on stage with two members of the Alinsky Institute, David Alinsky son of the infamous Saul Alinsky and Ralph Benko.  Benko in particular who claimed to be a “right winger” was using transference to sell the merit of his institute which was incredibly interesting.

On a mass scale what the Donald Trump presidency has exposed is something we all knew was there from the beginning. The villains who are really guilty of serious crimes are attempting to pass those off onto passivist Republicans which has worked for many years but because Trump won’t accept that guilt a major clash is ensuing.  This is exposing the Democratic Party because there is nowhere to hide their crimes if Republicans won’t allow them to transfer that guilt to the GOP as has been going on for over one hundred years that I can tell.  For instance, it was Democrats who supported the KKK and slavery.  I was Democrats who inspired Hitler to give rise to his Nazis.  It was Democrats that colluded with Russia.  It was Democrats that destroyed evidence.  It was Democrats that issued many terrible pardons to enemies of the United States.  It was Democrats who want to use the power of the state to control all our lives in every way imaginable.  Republicans are against all those things yet by the psychological trick of transference they have accepted the sins of their rivals because they were defenseless against the way Saul Alinsky used his tactics to take command of the entire party giving people like Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton power they otherwise wouldn’t have had. Watching Benko and David Alinsky not be able to defend the things Dinesh D’Souza said about Saul Alinsky was truly fascinating.  They spent most of their time trying to defend the dedication of Alinsky’s book, Rules for Radicals to Lucifer than in defending the acts of transference that the Democratic Party has been using to beat Republicans through the media they control by associating their guilty acts onto an innocent party using Alinsky tactics to apply it.

To put the situation in a way that most people can understand transference would be when a man who is cheating on his wife quite audaciously comes home with perfume from another woman on him, and lipstick smeared on his collar then starts yelling at his wife who is just there cooking dinner accusing her of sleeping with other men.  The woman knows she hasn’t slept with other men and that she has been busy getting food for the meal she’s preparing yet now she has to defend the accusations of her husband.  If she fails to answer her husband’s criticisms she’ll look like she’s hiding something.  If she does answer them then she gives value to the charge by acknowledging it.  Either way, she is forced to make a move of defense or silence, both of which will get her accused of the act.  It’s an old liberal trick that has been going on for a long time and it’s odd that an entire political party could use a psychological mechanism to advance such an evil.

One of the primary themes of the great American novel Atlas Shrugged is the idea of making innocent people an accomplice into mass, group evil through transference.  This is done by getting people who are the movers and shakers of the world to admit to some level of selfishness if they won’t share their gains with people in need—without addressing why people are in need.  This is essentially how Mitt Romney lost his election against Barack Obama.  Democrats painted Romney as selfish, rich, and under using women as a role under his management.  Romney in fact was far from selfish and he had a history of being very fair to women, but when Democrats put that transference application to him he couldn’t defend it because he did feel guilt about his wealth.  That hook along froze him into inaction and allowed Obama to win the presidency.

Years ago when I was doing a radio interview on a popular daytime talk show I was involved in a lot of controversy and the host was trying to get me to apologize on the air.  It was baffling to me why this person cared so much to get an apology and this is something that is going on constantly these days—where people are being encouraged to apologize for everything.  Well, I meant what I had said in spite of the public backlash, and I knew all this psychology of transference so I stuck with my guns much to virtually everyone’s professional sensitivities.  To apologize to an unidentified group of women whom I said had asses the size of car tires and diamond rings to match would be to admit guilt.  Well, I wasn’t guilty.  What I said was a factual statement in the metaphorical application of it and the circumstance for which I said it.  By apologizing because it sounded harsh or was politically incorrect as determined by the reality of Democratic transference I would have undercut my entire platform—which I wasn’t about to do.  The Republicans around me at the time instinctively wanted to apologize and wanted me to do so—which I wouldn’t so we all went our separate ways.  They should have listened to me then because a few years later Trump became president doing essentially what I had done—not allowing the transfer of guilt from one Party to the other by accepting responsibility for it.

The only thing the woman in the kitchen could do when her husband came home to accuse her of cheating was to point out that he was the one with the signs of cheating for which his only comeback from that would be to rant, rave and threaten her with violence to shut her up—and that is what the political left is doing now that Donald Trump is refusing to apologize or accept any guilt from the Democrats.  Republicans on the Hill simply don’t know how to play the game any other way.  The way to beat the political left is to not accept the transference of their guilt.  If they threaten violence, then we must be willing to crush them just like the woman who is the victim of being cheated on must do against her husband.  Whatever she must do she must implement, like having a gun, or a can of mace—something that can overtake her husband if he attempts violence against her because she won’t accept his transference of guilt.  Donald Trump understands this issue, and I have been trying to teach it to people for years—and thankfully people are starting to listen.  But even I am shocked by the level of transference articulated in D’Souza’s new book.  I suppose I never really thought much about the Nazis and why they hated the Jews, or how they have more in common with Democrats than Republicans.   But they do and the reason why is transference.  Democrats are guilty of many crimes, but Republicans have come to their rescue so many times—it has enabled such a vast evil to be unleashed through good intentions.

The way Republicans have behaved was similar to the wife in saying, “honey, no, I haven’t been with anyone.”  You can check my cell phone, you can put a camera in our room, you can ask our neighbors—I haven’t even been out of the house.”  Meanwhile the husband has naked pictures of many girls on his cell phone and his wife doesn’t even know the password—so she could never check him out.  That dysfunction has to stop for Republicans.  They should be thankful that Trump is fighting on their behalf this physiological deficiency.  Because it happens far more than most people want to believe and each occurrence is a function of evil.  By endorsing such evil through shared responsibility—Republicans perpetuate it.  The moral thing to do is not to accept any guilt, even though we were all taught from infants up to the present to do so, and to keep the blame where it belongs—on the Democratic Party and their vile soldiers of disinformation.

Joan the Hutt: Lee Wong and a former Lakota tax and spend liberal want control of West Chester as trustees

I was watching Star Wars with my grand-kids the other day while catching up on some news in the print media and I noticed that the big spender Joan Powell from the Lakota school board was seeking a seat on the West Chester Board of Trustees.  I was astonished that she’d come out of retirement to run for such an important seat, and given her track record even desired to put herself up to the scrutiny of public office.  But it’s her life, and she asked for it—because there’s a lot to pick on when it comes to Joan Powell.  That’s when I looked up to watch the movie again and thought it was astonishing how much she reminded me of the Star Wars character Jabba the Hutt—the vile gangster and villain from the old child targeted story about good and evil.  I know Joan better than most people do and I remember how she ran the Lakota school system like a thuggish gangster for the teacher’s union complete with back room deals and a tax and spend philosophy that was as maniacal as any liberal in America.  I know because I was part of a deal she was a part of way back in 2013 when a report at the following link came out showing that Lakota had declining enrollment and didn’t need a tax increase. Yet Joan the Hutt pushed for one anyway to give pay raises to the public employees she was supposed to be managing before she retired.   Read that report here.  The important parts of the report have been highlighted in yellow on pages 1 and 16:

Lakota Enrollment study

Watch this little clip from Star Wars showing Jabba the Hutt making deals and trying to destroy her rivals.  Hutts in Star Wars are hermaphroditic so the female designation is appropriate in comparing the fictional villain from Star Wars to the real life con artist from Lakota.

Now watch this anti-Trump ad that Joan Powell the Hutt did for Hillary Clinton during last year’s presidential campaign.  Take away the flowers and the references to grandchildren, can you tell any difference? I can’t.

http://www.daytondailynews.com/news/former-longtime-lakota-board-member-running-for-west-chester-trustee/TlmBdiJr2FTsQruxhSdtJI/

For context let’s go back to 2012, a group I was running with several other people called No Lakota Levy had successfully defeated several of the tax increases that Joan the Hutt tried to implement from 2005 all the way up to that point in time.  The teacher’s union was Joan the Hutt’s network and they wanted a pay increase.  The Lakota school board had to get a tax increase passed to appease those government employees and they weren’t going to do that so long as I was the face of No Lakota Levy.  Joan orchestrated through her vast network of media contacts and feminist groups a hit job against me, not much different from when Jabba set a trap for Luke Skywalker to fall into the Rancor pit to be eaten alive.  Only in real life the terrible beast I had to fight was a bunch of tax levy supporters who were part of a vicious tax and spend cult ran by Joan the Hutt.   Like the fictional movie, metaphorically, the same result occurred.  I ended up in a blistering exposé meant to destroy me in every way possible because of my involvement with No Lakota Levy.  Joan wanted to remove me from the political scene so that they could pass a levy at Lakota.  Some members of my group sided with Joan the Hutt but little to their dismay I was more popular afterwards than before.  People appreciated that I stuck to my guns to defend them from the vile clutches of this West Chester liberal and her legions of tax levy supporters.   In spite of the extremely negative press, the Joan Powell led school board knew they couldn’t get a levy passed with my name in the papers every day so they had to try something new.

Behind the scenes Joan the Hutt wanted to make a deal with me using school board members I had been supporting and members of the No Lakota Levy group.  She wanted to negotiate a two-year ceasefire on the levy fight.  I thought that was a good idea so I did my part of the deal which was to not campaign against Lakota for that two-year period of time and Joan the Hutt wouldn’t attempt another tax increase.  Meanwhile Joan the Hutt and her legions of levy supporters went hard to work paving the way for a community consensus on a tax increase hiring a progressive firm to go around and soften up the voters for another levy attempt which shouldn’t have taken place until 2014.  Taking only one year off from the levy fight Lakota went for another levy in 2013 knowing that if that report referenced above got out to the public that people would never support a tax increase.  So they broke their deal with me and went for their raises for the teacher’s union in fall of 2013.

Joan the Hutt by that time had split up the No Lakota Levy group the same way she tried to split up Republicans over Donald Trump in favor of crooked Hillary Clinton so the tax increase just barely passed.  Joan the Hutt knew that if my group had stayed together that she would have never won so she used all the levers of power to do whatever she had to do—including destroying me if possible—to give her public employees a pay raise when it was clear from the report that Lakota needed to actually cut teachers—not giving them a pay increase.  Joan the Hutt has shown on many occasions that she can have a propensity toward vile conduct to achieve her tax and spend desires and to my experience what she did at Lakota was no different from what a gangster might do for a criminal enterprise.  The double-dealing, the vicious use of legions of blood thirsty supporters and a facade of a serene grandmother to hide it all when reality indicated a vile underground network of thugs for which she was the leader.

West Chester under the guidance of Mark Welch and George Lang have produced budget surpluses and low taxation for many years now leading to an economic boom that has been unique to similar areas around the country seeing much slower growth.  But with such great numbers come the thieves and bandits who want a free ride and to seize that growing wealth so they can pass it out to their criminal underworld.   There is a third trustee at West Chester named Lee Wong who you will find often trying to get a free meal who needs a partner in crime in West Chester to get a needed second vote to plunge the community into chaos.  Lee wants to pass those surpluses produced into that public sector underworld for which Joan the Hutt has such a vast network.  You might have heard of Lee’s name before as it is often associated with scandal and treason such as the efforts he committed himself to recently in defending a woman fired from her job for giving secrets to China.   People on his side think Lee’s a hero for standing up for a public sector worker, Republicans see an alarming trend in Lee that he seems always associated with scandal and bad decisions rooted in Democratic behavior hidden behind a mask of conservatives that he knows he needs to even attempt to win any office in Butler County.  Like most public employees what Lee shares with Joan is a love for attention, taking money from those who have it and giving it to people in their inner circles of power to keep them loyal and close.  Those two see an opportunity to have a two vote count in West Chester to get control of the surpluses that have been produced by good management so that they can expand their bases of power—just like gangsters do.

The thing to do would be to keep Joan the Hutt out of office and send her back to her supposedly quit life for which she indicated in her pro Hillary Clinton commercial.  The experiences I have provided are just one example of the way she operates as a person and you have to wonder about someone like her who desires to get her hands on the levers of power to even run for such an office.   But for people who just can’t help themselves the good efforts of Mark Welch and George Lang are too attractive to avoid.  For people like Joan and Lee those surpluses are ways to make friends and obtain more free meals around town, to get a respect they can’t give themselves through merit based work.  George and Mark are privately successful so their roles as trustees have been about as pure as anyone could hope politicians to be—and that is why West Chester has been successful now for a period of years.  The criminals who want a few more friends and a way to expand their influence can’t help but want to put their teeth into that surplus to work their maniacal plans for government expansion and double-dealing drama for which their naturally corrupt minds can’t avoid.   Yes, Joan the Hutt is back and she wants to be fed a steady stream of tax money to sustain her big dreams of a vast syndicate of liberalized activism hidden behind a mask of Republican Party affiliation.  Those kinds of things can be difficult to see in reality when people shake hands, but when you watch fantasy films geared toward children, like Star Wars, it’s easy to see that in West Chester we have our own version of the popular villain Jabba the Hutt.  And she wants to become a trustee in 2017.

Oh, and in that last video, do you know why dear reader that Lakota didn’t go for that levy in 2017?  Because Joan the Hutt retired from the school board.  Miraculously after she left the board, Lakota’s finances were straightened out.  Just keep that in mind when voting in November.

Whatever Happened to Rich Hoffman: The demands of the moment shadow the heroics of the past

A good friend of mine was in one of those online chat areas when a discussion about me came up, so he shared the contents. Below is a bit of that conversation where a couple of people were doing some remember when’s in regard to my activity with the No Lakota Levy effort. What struck me was that there is a belief that I left the Lakota area so for those who wonder about such things I am writing this to correct the record.  To answer the question that lingers for many people I still do radio and television from time to time.  For instance here is a CNN bit I did for Trump just a few weeks ago.  I am still very active in many efforts and I lend myself where needed, often,  Here is what they said:

Jon Kennedy at one time there was a guy that had all the info on the schools and what they did with a lot of money that was in the bank he showed that the school broad loaned money for road projects to be done or paid for them I cant remember all of it but they spent a lot of money on roads and I think they did not get the money back and then they were in the hole and that’s when they start asking for more from the people in tax’s I sure wish I could find all that info you would not believe what they did

Lynda Zammit I think the person you may be looking for is Rich Hoffman. He brought all kinds of nasties forward about the district administration between 2005 and 2013 and they did everything they could to shut him up and lock him up. He left the area right after the November 2013 levy passed (by 241 votes!) and right before April 2014 when they did exactly what he said they were going to do – give themselves $2,000,000 in raises while cuts remaine

Jon Kennedy wow they locked him up

Lynda Zammit Jon Kennedy No – but they tried to. He left the area in 2014. They were also doing crazy things like hiring people to take signs down encouraging people to vote no on levies. Crazy times. His blog is still going though, he’s very vocal about a lot of things

Jon Kennedy ye I look all over I can not find that info but the guy lead the vote no on are schools for years and if I remember right they funded the 747 deal and union center over pass if I remember right

In all honesty, if they could have locked me up they would have but because of our good efforts with No Lakota Levy we forced the teacher’s union to behave in ways they weren’t used to. Also to their credit the school board did listen to our issues and have made attempts to manage their budget—only in the vacuum of a weakened teacher’s union that knew if they went on strike that I would personally eviscerate them in both the media and in any other form they chose. They did pass their levy in 2013 when some of our No Lakota Levy people broke ranks falling for the same kind of stuff that is being thrown at Donald Trump now—and Sheriff Jones did the very un-Republican thing to do and that was come out in favor of the tax increase so that he could put his cops in more buildings as fear of mass shootings in schools was a hot progressive topic at the time, so that pushed their vote count over the threshold. And as the commentators remembered, Lakota did exactly what I said they’d do.

After that vote I went back to work since I knew it would be a while before Lakota would try another levy. People have to remember that I’m a person who is in my prime income making years so it was quite a sacrifice to take the period from 2005 to 2013 to fight public school levies because that’s not a very popular thing to do. When people meet you it doesn’t paint a picture of solidarity—they tend to think of you as a radical so there is a cost that most people don’t feel they can shoulder. But I have a great reputation and can stand quite a lot so I offered myself to the cause. When it was over I went to work on the next big thing, a big international project that I’ve been working on for the last four years that involves many countries, travel and long work days—a minimum of 12 hours per day. It’s not uncommon for me to work 20-hour days because that’s what it takes to be successful at things—especially hard things. But for the record I never left the area of Lakota. I’m just busy on my next project. When I get involved in something I jump all in and it becomes most of my life. There will come a time when I will move on to the next thing and when that happens I’ll do it gladly.

I did get to speak to the Lakota school board leadership over the winter and we had a nice talk under pleasant circumstances. They don’t plan to go for another tax increase until after 2020 and I let them know that I’d fight them on it when they did. They didn’t listen to me on their new superintendent, they paid him more than the governor of Ohio instead of the $80K I suggested. They will say that’s market value. I say it’s an artificially inflated cost, and we’ll fight that out next time. So long as they aren’t asking for more money, I have better things to worry about—and I do. I would have liked to see more challengers for the school board elections this fall but most people don’t want to get involved, just like they were more than happy to fall in behind me during the Lakota levy fights. So long as I lent my reputation for everyone to throw darts at, people were very courageous. But the moment they had the slightest exposure or had to show courage in standing behind me, they buckled, and that’s why nobody wanted to go on the school board. Lots of people want to talk, but nobody wants to stand for anything. I knew that going in and I know that going forward and I’ll do it again when needed. But I’m not going to joust windmills just for the attention of doing so. When there’s a fight—I’ll be there. When there’s not a fight—I’ll do something productive elsewhere.

I suppose that’s why people think I left the area, even though I do get out and about often and I’m not shy about it. Fighting levies is not my calling card to being remembered which I suppose a lot of people might be prone to become seduced by. They may even use it to acquire public office which a lot of people thought I was after. No, there is a lot more money to be made in the private sector. I hate the slowness of government. Right now actually I am dealing with the patent office in Washington D.C. and several attorneys in between and it’s a miserable experience, much like dealing with government as a member of the school board or some other position. It is hard and takes a lot out of you to deal with mundane—boring people who are entrenched government employees. But I expect to be paid for these kinds of things. I certainly don’t do them for fun, and public office to me would be miserable because you are dealing with people like that every day. Maybe when I’m older and retired I’d do it to stay sharp, but I don’t have the time to give to it now because there is money to be made and I have an obligation to myself and my family to do it. So I’m still around. But when there’s a fight to fight—I’ll be right there. In the meantime, there are many other things to do.

John Kasich Caves to ANTIFA: Feeding the enemy does not help defeat them

Like the liberal progressive he is, John Kasich had his people removed a valued painting of the Confederate General John Hunt Morgan from a vacation destination in Ohio as reported by PJ Media in the below article. I have always loved history and specifically I have a soft spot for the rebellion that emerged out of the American Civil War. I like the Confederates—there was great passion and bravery in that war. Stonewall Jackson and Robert E. Lee were some of the greatest tactical minds of military endeavor ever. If I had the opportunity to pick sides I would have obviously picked the Union—I do not support slavery in any form. I hate authority so the idea of a person being owned by anybody or any institution is disgusting to me—so I have no sympathy for slavery. But, I do enjoy Civil War battlefields and monuments because it was during that war that the human race started pushing back against the idea of people being owned by other people in any capacity—and there is value in that. And much of that history was forged right in my home state of Ohio with these Civil War tributes. But then this happened:

A painting of Confederate General John Hunt Morgan was removed from the lodge at Salt Fork State Park, a popular vacation and retreat spot, at the behest of the Ohio Department of National Resources, (trigger warning) the Daily Jeffersonian reports:

Recent controversy over Confederate statues and clashes between white nationalists and those who oppose them has resulted in a painting of Confederate General John Hunt Morgan being taken down at Salt Fork Lodge. During the Civil War, General Morgan led a raid into Ohio, which went through Guernsey County before Morgan and his men were captured near East Liverpool. In the painting, General Morgan is depicted leading his men in battle. Morgan’s Raid has been a part of Guernsey County lore ever since the incidents in July of 1863. The decision to take down the painting came through the Ohio Department of Natural Resources.

“We decided to take the painting down in light of recent events,” Matt Eiselstein of ODNR said. “The painting, done on canvas, was carefully removed from the wall and is currently being safely stored.”

The painting shows Gen. Morgan, who led a raid through Ohio in 1863, on horseback. Another soldier in the painting is waving a Confederate flag. Morgan and his men were captured near East Liverpool, Ohio, but Morgan escaped and fled Ohio. Local historian Rick Booth wrote:

By early September, 1864, he (Morgan) was leading a force of 1,500 men in the vicinity of Greeneville, Tenn. Underestimating the proximity and danger posed by Union troops nearby, Morgan opted to sleep the night in pampered luxury at a local mansion rather than tent uncomfortably with his men outside the town. When Union commanders chose to march on Greeneville through the night, Morgan’s choice of pleasantries over safety turned fatal. As federal troops approached Greeneville, several reports came in that Morgan was resting in the lightly guarded town mansion. Two cavalry companies were quickly dispatched to rush into the town and surround the mansion with orders to bring back Morgan dead or alive.

General Morgan, loathing the thought of ever spending time in Union captivity again, had promised his wife he would do everything in his power to avoid capture. And so, when confronted by an armed cavalryman demanding his surrender, Morgan chose to run. A shot rang out, and the man who barely a year before had led Confederate forces through Guernsey County’s Cumberland, Senecaville, Lore City, Old Washington, Winterset and Antrim fell dead.

Booth characterized the raid as “an unusual affair, conducted against orders in mid-1863.”

In the wake of the Charlottesville protests, at least two Ohio cities have also removed Confederate memorials.
In Franklin, near Cincinnati, a stone marker commemorating Gen. Robert E. Lee was removed Thursday, and in Worthington, near Columbus, a historic marker outside the former home of a Confederate general was removed.

Kasich isn’t trying to protect the Confederate painting at Salt Fork State Park from ANTIFA communists and other lunatics, he’s appeasing them. He’s trying to make the Republican base believe he has the interests of history in mind when in reality he is seeking to distance himself even further from the Trump administration which at this point is a serious mistake. That’s why he is weak. No culture should seek to appease thugs and book burners. My first experience with any culture that were history erasers were the Nazis. But I have often spoken very harshly about the Roman barbarians that attacked the Library at Alexandria, the many Catholic crusades against pagan monuments and the modern academic re-writing of history to fit the Columbus origin story—which has been false. The Indians were not Native-Americans—but were themselves immigrants from China and all places around the globe well before the New World was discovered. It was only “new” to the Europeans fleeing their homelands due to religious persecution. Everyone has been running from something and everything came to a spill over point during the American Civil War.

History tells us that because of that war people were freed. Slavery ended in North America because of that war—not in spite of it. And there is a lot for us to learn about ourselves from the Confederacy. It is not permissible for these modern communists—which is what ANTIFA is all about—to erase our history and to re-write it in the image of liberalism. That’s just not going to be allowed to happen. But Kasich as governor of Ohio should have known better. And he picked the wrong side to appease.

ProgressOhio and Other Radical Leftists Copy the Tea Party: Why liberals will always lose–they lack intelligence

To understand the situation that we see today you’d have to go back nearly a decade to when I was fighting school levies and the evils of public education on radio stations and television to a great effect. Now my warnings have come to fruition, many of those kids who were in grade school back then getting openly socialist propaganda in their K-8 classes are now in their twenties ripping down historic monuments and joining forces with communists across the world to continue the efforts of Karl Marx.  It was in fact really the third decade of that kind of public education crises when I was sounding off the alarm bells—but each year has gotten worse leaving our next generation children to be mush minded losers largely due to the broken home situation that they have had outside of the school and open socialist indoctrination at the government institutions of learning.  They really had no chance.  And now that Trump is president they are attempting to overthrow his administration with all the tactics learned in that little, easy to read book, The Communist Manifestro.   Check out these links to see what kind of activity is brewing in my home state of Ohio.  You can bet that the same kind of behavior is going on across the nation and were fully in place ahead of the Charlottesville catastrophe—which was induced on all sides by radical leftists.  The “alt-right” were leftists well to the side of socialism and not even on the scale of American conservatism.  Then of course were the open socialists and communists of the Black Lives Matter group and the group called ANTIFA which was just another rendition of the “Occupy” anarchists who are about as far left on the social spectrum as you can get.  These are the people organizing future upheavals in my state as they seek to end the Trump presidency.  You can read their strategies at these sites.

http://kyd4.org/2017/08/14/inkyd4-statement-on-charlottesville.html

I thought it was funny to see my old rivals at ProgressOhio reveal their intentions so openly, and desperate.  I haven’t heard from them in a while and had been wondering what they were up to.  Their vision of the Tea Party movement is pretty funny and based completely on ignorance.  I was a very active member of various Tea Party movements in the Cincinnati area from 2009 to 2014.  I kept myself on the edges which is how I normally deal with group behavior—but I was certainly very intimate as a functioning leader in the freedom movement for quite a long time.  I know how the Tea Party won and changed politics pushing out people like John Boehner and John Kasich from power and replacing them with people like Trump.  Once it looked like people such as Donald Trump, Scott Walker and Ted Cruz were going to run for president in 2015 most of us in the Tea Party movement picked our guy and we broke off to help whoever it was which is why my activity declined in 2014.  I picked Trump and went hard to work for his campaign.  And now I am quite happy that he is president.  I worked very hard to get him there, just as he worked very hard to get elected and the concerns I wanted to see addressed he is currently dealing with.  However, if any of these Progress Ohio, ANTIFA losers think that I’m going to let them destroy a presidency I worked hard to help put in place—they have another thing coming.

Here’s the deal as I see it—which should have considerable weight considering my history—the biggest difference between the Tea Party movement and these various personifications of ANTIFA is that our efforts were based on education. The socialist radicals are based on threats and intimidation behind group assimilation.  If you check their strategy on those above links they think that the Tea Party was successful because of their mass organizations—which were actually few and far between.   The real work happened at Tea Party meetings where good people offered classes on the Constitution and on the Founding Fathers so that those people would be better voters who could see through the media circus and elect proper people in the Republican Party and wrestle away the progressive influences from what was.  It took a few years but the trajectory of success was obvious and it was all based on educating people to be more informed voters.  We weren’t threatening to rip down statues.  We never tried to assassinate president Obama or even alluded to it. When the IRS came after us—and I was personally targeted by this because of my relationship with the Liberty Township Tea Party—we didn’t storm Washington or stand outside vandalizing Lois Lerner’s house—we fought them in court and at the ballot boxes.   We had a heck of a fight in the 2016 primaries.  My guy Trump won, and eventually most everyone got behind him and here we are—doing what we planned a decade ago—and doing so quite effectively.

What’s missing from the plans of ProgressOhio and all the other Ohio based progressive activist groups is education.  Sure they are trying to study now how the Tea Party was so successful and they’ll try to copy it—but they won’t be able to because all they have is the threat of violence to advocate their position and people aren’t going to put up with that any more.  Let me tell you that much.   These liberal groups cannot compete on the battlefield of ideas.  They cannot do three hours of radio in the middle of the day and attract 15 million listeners because their political philosophy is old and crusty—and un-American.  It might fly in Europe but that’s not saying much because Europe is crumbling away with economic rot.  No sane mind in America is going to sign up for that socialist garbage except for kids coming out of high school with a communist education who don’t yet know any better.  Socialism is boring and is a philosophy for the lazy which makes it really difficult for people in Progress Ohio to recruit anything but idiots to their cause because the smart people are either working or put their efforts behind the Tea Party. Lazy people don’t have the energy to perform the kind of education it takes to change people’s minds at the voting booth like the Tea Party did.

And that’s the real problem that all the leftist groups have. The people in their organizations are stupid, lazy and impatient.  They don’t have a sense of history or of personal values which is why if a group like ProgressOhio tried to educate voters the way the Tea Party did their members would likely become conservatives by default once they had knowledge.  The political left relies on emotion and stupidity to survive where the Tea Party was about knowledge and thoughtfulness.   Before each meeting there was a prayer and always the meetings were geared toward knowledge—not telling people how to think but in letting them learn on their own.  It was that knowledge that led to the 3 to 4% swing in voting patterns within the GOP which has evoked so much change—not just in electing Republicans, but in determining the kind of Republicans which get elected.

The political left which is the foundation of ANTIFA and Black Lives Matter are progressives looking for socialism and in order for that to work people need to be stupid. Pubic education has been successful in turning off the minds of our youth.  Most of them are complete idiots by the time they are adults.  But when they learn—if they learn—they become Republicans which is why they will never succeed.  For Progress Ohio to work their supporters need to use rioting to scare people into submission because they can’t win an intellectual debate.  And if they can’t win a debate, they can’t get elected.  Nobody is going to vote for a bunch of thugs—which is their strategy.  It worked for years under the umbrella of union membership but that mask has been pulled off now.  They are exposed for all their ugliness and this will hurt them on serious matters.  Sure, there will always be two or three hundred stupid degenerates who will stand outside of a congressional office and call Republicans “Nazis” but what are they offering by way of knowledge to help voters see their side of the story—except—“we’re going to burn down your house, rape your wives and key your car until you see things our way?”  That is the difference between the Tea Party and ANTIFA.  The Tea Party read books, they taught each other things and pursued an intellectual approach that changed the dynamics of politics.   All ANTIFA has are drug addicts, losers, video gamers who want socialism so they can sit on their fat assess all day playing Xbox, and mentally challenged fools vacant of intellectual curiosity.  That is not a winning formula and they will lose miserably in the months to come.

The Demons of Charlottesville: Screams from the evil trying to seduce us all to sleep

It took me a couple of days to get my mind around the extreme hypocrisy on full display in the wake of the Charlottesville racism issue in Virginia. I thought Donald Trump did a great job of addressing the nation just a few hours after violence broke out between the usual Black Live Matter communists and the Nazi socialists fighting over the removal a Robert E. Lee statue in that extremely liberal town.   At the time that Trump spoke he kept his statements general because after lunch on a Saturday afternoon it wasn’t yet known who ran over whom.   Was it the same ol’ radicals from Ferguson and Baltimore—or was it the skin heads, and Nazi fascists?  Trump couldn’t have been sure until much later and it was at that point that even Republicans were criticizing the president for not specifically identifying the white nationalists—as if he were associated with them.  It truly was an amazing display of evil—not in the violence at Charlottesville which was despicable in and of itself—but in the mass volume of the media propensity to advance a false plot against Trump that was truly vile.  Wasn’t it just a few weeks ago where a Bernie Sanders supporter shot up a bunch of Republicans at a baseball game, and a few months ago where Kathy Griffin held up the bloody severed head of a fake Donald Trump—and Snoop Dogg put out a video showing the mock assassination of our new president?  What we all witnessed in the wake of Charlottesville was a new kind of evil which was much more sinister than the kid who ran into a mob of communist radicals in a clash of leftist maniacs gone wild.

Again I was very proud of Donald Trump—he did all the right things at all the right times during the crises and the people who came out in criticism against him are the people who are protecting the swamp we are all trying to drain.  If you wanted to root out the Never Trump types who are holding up legislation in congress to prevent the President’s agenda from being implemented then just listen to those who criticized Trump so quickly.  They had an agenda against Trump and they used the death and injury of people at this tragic protest as a way to advance their selfish agenda.

There were many times in just the past eight years that Barack Obama took many days to respond to a tragedy on the scale of Charlottesville and when he did he often didn’t come close to providing an adequate statement.  The media, even the conservative media, never went this crazy over anything any previous president has said on a national stage.  This attitude against Trump is a whole new category of hate revealed through a swarm of aggression born from sheer evil.  It was a truly magnificent display of pure malevolence.

Trump revised his statement on Monday, August 14th to include all the white supremacy groups that the media had been criticizing him for not specifying.  I didn’t think he should have done so—he should have just let his Saturday statement stand.  After all, he addressed the real issue correctly the first time and nothing he could or would say would matter.  These parasites were going to use anything he said as a way to attempt to paint him into a corner.  The media and many of the Never Trumpers who lost to Trump during the 2016 campaign wanted to pin the president to white supremacy as their last-ditch effort to stop the movement which elected him.

The “alt-right” movement is not what makes up the Trump campaign.  White supremacists, Nazis, and the KKK radicals are all leftovers of southern Democrats and it is true that Hitler took notes from these people to advance his purge of Europe of people he didn’t want in his pure German society.  The people gathered in Charlottesville were all aspects of liberalism, the Black Lives Matters people were the hard-core communists while the Nazis were the socialists and the media framed them in their coverage as the extreme right and extreme left as if we all lived somewhere in between.  In that way they attempt to put us all into some crazy fringe of leftist radicalism and by default we must then defend our innocence from being too close to either of those fringe groups.  But, in reality, most of us are nowhere even near thinking like those two sides of the same idiotic coin.

Trump showed leadership early in the crises and it was a positive effort—in a sane world.  But we are not living in a sane world.  We are dealing with an evil that hides behind the pain and suffering of others to an extremity that is baffling to normal people.   It baffled me to see that evil so alive and desperate as they thought they had Trump pinned up against the ropes over doing what was expected of him during a crises. Trump didn’t say anything wrong. The skin heads, the communists, the people who wanted to take down the Robert E. Lee statue, the Mayor of Charlottesville, the Nazi lovers all the leftist losers who were in those city streets ready to fight for varying degrees of leftist philosophy were present to do damage and hurt others.  Trump had to be general in his statements given the level of evil present in Charlottesville.  Trump did the right thing—the media showed their real game plan perhaps too audaciously.

I’ve referred to it before but there is a wonderful scene from a great Akira Kurosawa film called Dreams where there are three mountain climbers caught in a snow storm high in the Himalayas.  They’ve lost their base camp in the storm and were dying in the extreme cold.  The leader found himself seduced by a beautiful ghost who came to his side to ease him into death.  She sings him to sleep gently and seductively pushing him into death.  But, being the leader that he was, he decides to fight back and once the ghost realizes that she’s not going to get her way, she turns into a skeleton and screams angrily at the leader then vanishes into oblivion.  Once gone, the storm clears and the leader is able to wake up his friends saving them from death as well.  As the sun came back out they realized that their base camp was always only about 20 feet away the whole time.  While they had only moments before been ready to die out of desperation, now they saw clearly that they were always so close to safety—but couldn’t see it for the chaos.  That is what we see happening, the demons of our lives are hiding in this chaos and now they have been exposed and are screaming out pain that they cannot get us to follow them to our death.  And in the aftermath of Charlottesville we will also see all along our base camp has always been right next to us.  When we do, as it’s being revealed right now, we will learn that it was never in between the communists and socialists but in the warm bed of conservatism which exists well to the right of the skin heads and Nazis.  That is where America lives and that is what Trump represents in our great republic, for which we stand.

The World is not Enough: Thank, God for Hasbro, Sphero, and Nerf

Every now and then I like to cover lighter topics that shed some hope for the human condition.  Occasionally I have written about my observations regarding the new cosplay phenomena and some of the very unique toys being made for kids from really great companies like Hasbro, Nerf and Sphero.  I have no problem admitting that when my wife drags me to the store for whatever reason—usually because she wants my company–that the place I always like to go first is the toy section to see what’s new there.  I have always enjoyed the inventiveness that comes with play and I think the world would be far better off if kids played more and for a longer period of time instead of rushing into puberty too quickly.  They should develop their minds longer than they do and after several discussions with my daughters who are now in their mid twenties I do have some hope that some of the inventiveness that is coming out in the toy markets and cosplay endeavors are the millennial’s generational self correction.

Any analysis into my love of Star Wars as a grown man would conclude that I find the people in those stories more interesting than real people.  The mythology of Star Wars as a whole has in it people I enjoy more than actual interactions.  Now some people might say that my view is unhealthy—that I shouldn’t set my bar for human interaction so high.  I would argue that society doesn’t set its bar for achievement high enough.  As a young person I always measured myself against the unrealistic expectations of the silver screen—not off the terrestrial limits of the real people in my life who I always felt were striving to be, “only human.”  They didn’t think big enough for me—the world they were offering was not enough.  And to a large degree millennials have grown up in broken homes with divorced insecure parents.  Their educations have been a joke and generally the world around them has been a tremendous let-down.  I mean who wants to grow up to be like John McCain? Anybody?  Or Maxine Waters?  How about a news anchor on any network?  Anybody want to be Chris Wallace?  If you have half a brain dear reader, you get my point.  So for their own survival millennials are doing to a larger degree what I always did, they turn to mythology where heroes and villains are larger than life and they base their standards for living off them instead of real people-because they innately recognize that they must do something to overcome the low expectations given to them by the lost generations which came before.

So that is the who and why all these fantastic toys and cosplay devices have emerged and specific to my interest is the Star Wars items from Nerf, Hasbro, and Sphero.   With Force Friday II coming up on September 1st 2017 where all the new Star Wars toys hit the shelves at Wal-Mart, Target and Toys R Us inventories that have been out there for a while since last year’s Rogue One movie is now at a very reduced price so my wife and I have been buying up things we’ve long been watching.  Specifically for me is the Hasbro At-ACT which came out last year for Rogue One but was over $300.  Hard for me to justify spending that kind of money on a toy, but lately it was marked down to $150 so we picked it up.  Another big thing we were able to pick up was the Sphero BB-8 robot which is driven off your smart phone.  In fact that’s what the AT-ACT and BB-8 have in common—both can move around on their own controlled off programming inputted into your iPhone which I think is just phenomenal.   The BB-8 robot from Sphero I think is a remarkable device and after finding it at Wal-Mart for half of its original $150 price tag I thought was a bargain.

For us, even though I enjoy the creativity on display in these new age toys if we didn’t have our grandkids over so much I wouldn’t have much of a desire to get them.  But, the kids are over a lot and I enjoy them immensely so when they are at my house we have all these very epic and expensive things to play with.  I remember how it was as a parent where luxuries were hard to come by and having all these expensive things to play with for the kids was difficult.  But as a grandparent we can afford to give the kids access to those kinds of things so we do, and I enjoy playing with the kids as they build up their brains with positive things I know will last a lifetime.  When kids play they don’t play to be a worthless bureaucrat or an average loser—they play to be a hero that saves the entire galaxy, that is the fantasy and it sets up in their minds the objective to reach for that high bar—even if it’s unrealistic.  It’s better to aim high than to not aim at all.  I also remember what it was like being a kid and I was a unique one.   I built models in the basement of our house very late into my teens and I had a large Star Wars toy collection that I played with until past the 8th grade.  I had a younger brother who had friends come over on Friday nights and we’d have massive Star Wars battles and honestly I found that a lot more fun than what was going on in real life.  I didn’t have any desire to drink, do drugs, use cuss words or play with girls.  The world I had in the basement of our house was far more interesting.  One of those younger kids who came over had a sister my age who was trying to fix me up with one of the prettiest girls in the 8th grade. She wanted me to go to the big homecoming dance with her after the football game.  This girl liked me a lot and had let me know that if I went to the dance with her that she’d let me do anything I wanted to her.  She was two years older than me and could drive.  Guess what I picked?  I chose playing Star Wars with the younger kids rather than messing around with that girl.  I never went to a single school dance until I was in my senior year and that was only to get a picture for my mom to put on her wall.   Many of my parents’ friends thought I was a weird kid so she wanted something to show that I wasn’t so strange.  In reality the toys were more interesting and I still love them to this day.   I can understand fully what cool toys and the freedom from guilt in playing with them can do for children.  I would say that now as an adult I am extremely well-adjusted and a very good problem solver.  I attribute a lot of that to developing my brain with a lot of play as a kid without the hassle of social pressure—like girls in the 8th grade and dances after football games.  Now as an adult with financial means, I do spoil my grandchildren for specifically those reasons—so they can feel the boundless joy of being a kid and discovering so many new things for the first time before life starts clamping down.  When life does clamp down, I want them to intellectually be ready.

And that’s why these toys are so much better than the toys from my youth, because Hasbro and Sphero aren’t just making them for kids.  They are making them for the many adults who now get past their 20s and aren’t interested in what the world has to offer.  As I think about this interesting aspect of our culture I can’t help but think of the James Bond movie The World is not Enough by the musical group Garbage.  That song captures this issue very well, the world is not enough because it doesn’t offer a big enough tapestry to project our hopes and dreams against—so many people find a relief from those limits by fulfilling their imaginations with these very sophisticated toys and these very creative companies understand and are rushing to fill that market need with some really spectacular offerings.  I always loved that song.  Needless to say I am impressed and continue to look forward to the next great thing to come from Hasbro and Sphero. That AT-ACT and the BB-8 droid are just fabulous and will bring a lot of joy to my house.  And I continue to look forward to what they come up with this year for Force Friday. I waited for some of these items for a few years so that the price would come down, but given the great utilization on display, maybe I won’t wait so long next time.
