The Communist Teachings At Lakota: Superintendent Mantia Protects Teacher Wages

The scouting report at Lakota regarding all things campaign related is that I am a narcissist that thrives in the spotlight and the way to win this next election is to diffuse me without engagement—so not to play into my strengths.  Lakota as a progressive institution find it appalling that any individual would see themselves as “bigger “than their socially centered school.  On the other hand, my scouting report on Lakota is that they are the narcissists as a collective organization who believes they are the center of the community, and that they are acting on behalf of what’s good.  The reality is that they are a cancerous leech that uses children to drive unionized government workers into inflated wages and have tied themselves over time to real estate values as a back-up to their child extortion racket.  As a progressive organization they were set up years ago to fulfill the communist infiltration of America after McCarthy overplayed his hand—and the insurgents were emboldened by the public support of their cause which followed.  Communism sought to infiltrate the public school system through the teacher unions and advance progressive goals, and there was never a finer example of this trait than the article by Superintendent Mantia in this week’s Today’s Pulse.

To know how ridiculously misleading and parasitic the Lakota school system intends to make itself upon the community which is its host it is important to read the quarter page public awareness column that the community newspaper gives to Lakota’s Superintendent each week.  This latest week, as much as their campaign strategy has been designed to diffuse my “narcissism” Mantia acknowledges that she is reading here at Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom frequently, because she addressed several of my recent points made upon these pages.  Her topic this week was a proposal to reduce fees in extracurricular activities so to increase student participation.  But first she felt she needed to set the record straight on the value of teachers who volunteer their time—“for a small fee of course”—to provide students with extracurricular activities.  She said, “Many, though not all of our extra-curriculars are guided by our teachers.  They earn a small amount of extra money for doing it, but the vast majority put in far more hours than they’re required to, because they love what they’re doing and know how much it means to kids.  Per-hour our coaches and advisors could make far more money working at any fast food restaurant.”  The most dangerous part of that statement is that Mantia is a quarter million dollar member of Lakota’s management team and they are preparing to engage the labor union in 2014 contract negotiations.  Mantia clearly is on the side of the teachers and the union based on just the statement she provided above—so anyone hoping that Lakota will put up a good fight against the union can wake up.  Mantia is a former teacher, and she is on the business side of teachers.  The management at Lakota is bought and paid for by the labor union and they are just “narcissistic” enough to believe that the residents of Lakota are stupid enough to supplement their scam with higher taxes.

Mantia goes on to say, “The two qualities we see young people develop so often in extra-curricular activities are leadership and teamwork.  They also learn the value of sacrifice and hard work, and often, other life lessons.  They may have to accept that they may not always be the star.  Sometimes they will have other roles to fill.”  She goes on for several more paragraphs with the same kind of progressive drivel for the next quarter page in the newspaper in that same fashion neglecting to report that the causes for the high fees imposed upon students and their families in the first place are due to her mismanagement.  She chose to raise sports fees to punish parents for voting down Lakota’s previous three levies, and not ask the teachers and other Lakota employees to take a 5% pay cut which was proposed by No Lakota Levy after the levy defeats.  Instead she advised the rest of Lakota’s management to raise sports fees to protect the teachers who work under her from unnecessary public scrutiny over their average salaries of 63K per year.  She chose protecting the highly paid public employees over the community health then, and now to appear as though she were doing the community a favor ahead of the fourth levy attempt, she is floating the idea of being “compassionate” so that she can earn votes for a levy allowing her to throw that money gained straight at her upcoming union contract—which she already blew the negotiations by revealing her pro-teacher position—which for those who know her was a foregone conclusion.  CLICK HERE TO SEE THE FINANCIAL FACTS ABOUT THE UPCOMING LEVY.

Mantia had the audacity to state that her teachers would make more money working at a fast food restaurant then they would be paid to stick around a few extra hours a day to teach kids during extra-curricular activities.  For those who aren’t so good at math, with an average salary of 63K per year, the teachers average approximately $30 dollars an hour, so teachers can make a lot of extra cash off their “extra-curricular sacrifices.”   But what’s worse in Mantia’s comments are the things she values from these experiences which come straight out of the progressive playbook, sacrifice, team-work and other “shared values.”

The statements about communist penetration of our public schools have been underway for many years, so long that it is doubtful that Mantia has the intellectual history to grapple with the issues.  She and her teachers are paid well to not pay attention to the “big picture” only to teach it.  She was raised into the system and knows of nothing else.  The attack against America was subtle, and occurred before her time.   She believes she is sticking up for her employees with her comments and support of another tax increase against the community.  But she is the one who’s narcissistic, and wrong.  My father-in-law was visiting over the weekend and told me the story of how on Friday he was called into a school district where he lives in Kentucky as a substitute—a very affluent district that is the home of many thoroughbred owners.  The demographics there are very similar to Lakota.  He was called in to teach as he has been a teacher for public schools for several decades, and now in his later years does it only as a substitute.  He holds several degrees, one of them a Master’s in geology.  He reported his anger to me upon seeing two of the topics given by an advanced English teacher to their class written on the chalk board, one on the merits of Marxism, the other on the merits of feminism.  Students had to pick one of those two topics to write about.  It wasn’t hidden with subtle dialogue the way that Lakota hides their progressive educations, because there isn’t a narcissistic Rich Hoffman in my father-in-law’s school district to call them out, so they recklessly placed their agenda up on the chalk board for all to see.  He was aghast at what his very affluent public school was teaching children and his obvious question—why wasn’t there a third topic about capitalism to choose from?  The answer was that public schools are not about American traditional values, they are about collapsing economies and advancing fairness for all—at the expense of productivity.  They are about higher taxes through schools as a way to redistribute income from one sector of the economy to another and they advance their agenda recklessly through the narcissism of the parents who support a large centralized institution that is simply a parasite upon the community.  Those parents believe that in exchange for their support of people like Superintendent Mantia, and the 63K per year teachers at Lakota, that their child will escape a life of mediocrity and become successful adults.  But what those parents discover too late is that the taxes raised are intended to be spent on teaching their children the merits of sacrifice—of sharing their wealth for the benefit of others.  What their children are learning, which was confirmed in the comments of Superintendent Mantia in the Sunday, September 15, 2013 edition of Today’s Pulse of Butler County, is that kids are learning to work hard for the sacrifice of others so that collective society can advance fulfilling the aims of communists many years ago.  These school officials will mislead, manipulate, and stoop to any low to advance the progressive platform.

The fight of our day is not in Syria, Russia, or even the Middle East, it is in our public schools where saboteurs are using our money stolen from property taxes to convert our children into socialists through an advanced communist plot hatched before Superintendent Mantia was even born.  She is paid to advance that plot and look not too closely at their intentions—which is driven by government for the service of government with the ultimate example of narcissism provided anywhere.  And it is our task to put an end to their scheme.  There is no hiding it now; they are out in the open with their intentions.   All that is required now is to admit that such sinister plots are at play and they intend to feed off the innocent minds of our children for a social goal that is not in their best interest.  As Mantia said in her article, sometimes kids need to “learn the value of sacrifice and hard work, and often, other life lessons.  They may have to accept that they may not always be the star.  Sometimes they will have other roles to fill.”  Those roles under communism are to work hard for the benefit of the greater good, a greater good that is determined by mother government for the benefit of itself and the employees who make it grow.

Lakota Levy Cheerleaders Strike Again: Ignoring the facts to preserve a monopoly

After several years of levy fights in the Lakota school district I have heard the pro tax crowd call me personally every name known to the human mind in anger that I don’t yield to their social impositions.  In response to their diatribes I have come up with a lot of names of my own to call them, such as “levy addicts,” “Lakota Zombies,” “Latté sipping prostitutes,” and “Levy Cheerleaders.”  This last one reflects well most of the inner sanctum of school levy supports who treat the school superintendent as though she were a rock star for a musical group.  Many of these levy “cheerleaders” seem to have replaced their youthful days when they attended rock concerts and tossed their undergarments at a stage advertising themselves for backstage adventures, to becoming enema plugs for Superintendent Mantia at Lakota.  Their rambunctious social display of levy support is rather sickening and deserves that type of criticism.  It is what came to my mind upon their booth set up at Lakota football games advertising their levy scheme like nighttime employees of K-Street working a hustle.  

The local media this time around is being very careful, as they are afraid that someone is going to get physically hurt and they might be blamed for provoking the violence.  From their point of view I can see their concern.  Over the last three levy attempts at Lakota things have gotten incrementally worse each time, and after the third levy I had promised a “head for an eye” revenge for the Kroger survey taken against my name during the month of February 2011.  CLICK HERE FOR REVIEW.  However, I usually only respond to attacks, I don’t issue them, so as long as the pro levy crowd engages in civil debate they have little to worry about.  Where they need to worry is when they attempt extortion against known NO voters, vandalism, theft, and public reputation lynchings of characters that stand in their way.  But until then, debate is acceptable, and one of the levy supporters who has been there from day one is Pam Perrino.  Pam in the beginning started down the road of threats and intimidation against anyone who did not support a tax increase for her children attending Lakota schools.  When I went on 700 WLW to expose the real reason for the levy needs at Lakota, she threatened the radio station with boycotts.  LISTEN TO THAT BROADCAST HERE FOR REVIEW.  So she has been at this pro levy business for a number of years, and she is back at it with a Letter to the Editor in the newspaper, Today’s Pulse stating:

IT IS TIME TO SUPPORT LAKOTA LEVY

I am so grateful that the Lakota School District has finalized their plans for the levy funds.  It has been eight years since the last levy passed.  Lakota has experienced extremely harsh cuts over the past two years.  In fact, it is now operating on $20 million less than it just three years ago.

They just shared that our per pupil spending is less than it was in 2005, when the last levy passed.  While I want them to be fiscally responsible, I also don’t want it to go so far that it is compromising the great education we have been providing during the 20 years I have lived here.

Because of a change in how schools are measured, we will not be given an assessment by the state o Ohio this year.  We will not know exactly how these cuts have impacted Lakota’s performance.  We do know that some testing scores have gone down the reduction of class offerings at the high school and participation in sports throughout the district is significantly down.

So – we are starting to feel the negative impact from cuts we have experienced over the last two years.  I know that Lakota has spent the last two years reaching out to the community to find out what it wants in a school district.  After the board of education presentations, I feel they responded to this input and are meeting the needs of our students and also provide services that the community has identified as the most essential for student success.  It is time to support this levy to secure solid futures for our Lakota students.

That to me was a reasonable levy cheerleading argument that deserves an answer, which I provided to the paper.  Even though Perrino in the past has been quite divisive in her participation of tax increase campaigns at the school, she brings up a lot of issues that need clarification.  So here is my response to Perrino’s letter which appeared in the paper.

Say No to the Lakota Levy

The assumption that there is a time to support a Lakota levy based on the years since one last passed is a poor measure of fiscal management.  Levy supporters at Lakota are starting their levy promotion efforts for the November election with the very weak argument that the best reason for a tax increase is that there hasn’t been one since 2005.  The postulation is that time is the measure of levy necessity, not market conditions.  Only a functioning monopoly could make such a claim.

Lakota does not need a levy; it is going through an approximate ten-year period of declining enrollment which will necessitate workforce reductions at Lakota do to the much smaller classroom sizes that will be needed.  The $20 million the school has had to cut over the last couple of years is due to this declining enrollment and is part of the painful process of fiscal management which should be expected.

The best way to keep costs down at Lakota is to keep money out of their hands with “NO” votes, and force the school to reduce their work force in conjunction with the declining enrollment which is a natural part of a mature community.  Under the pro levy argument they are saying that every couple of years forever Lakota will expect a tax increase no matter what the market conditions dictate.  The proposed tax increase in spite of claims for improved security and technology upgrades are simply going to cover payroll increases for raises issued under an upcoming 2014 labor contract.  Only an organization that is functioning as an antitrust would have the audacity to make such a claim which is all the reason that school levies should be defeated at Lakota for at least the next decade.

The trouble with these levy discussions is that all the information is subjective to the real problem that public schools are functioning monopolies.  Lakota is an antitrust by its nature, as all public schools are organized allowing them to make any claims of fiscal hardship they can imagine without having opposing facts generated through competition.  This allows schools like Lakota to claim hardship when forced to make budget reductions by the tax payers to reduce their per pupil expenses at the ballot box.  Voters in Lakota have had to take control of the administration’s spending by keeping money out of their hands which has forced them to make cuts they wouldn’t otherwise make—which has been on par with budget conditions.  CLICK HERE TO SEE THE FACTS ON THIS MATTER.  The claim of hardship by the school is due to the fact that they are the only game in town, and do not have another school to compete with who operates with lower per pupil costs, allowing them to claim imposition to gain public support for tax increases.

But to the levy cheerleaders, none of those facts matter.  They propose an infinite amount of tax impositions upon the community with the short-sighted intention of perpetual approval.  What they don’t understand is that when costs go up, businesses, and residents sell off their properties, and they move.  Lakota as a district in Butler County has benefited from having relatively low taxes, particularly with sales taxes, and this is the real reason for the spawn of real-estate growth.  It has little to do with Lakota schools.  Many parents would love to send their children to Lakota schools, but few can afford to live in the district which is the byproduct of being a successful community.  The natural impact on the school from that success is that there will be declining enrollment.  And that fact alone is enough to put out the fire that the levy cheerleaders are trying to advance by blowing on the flames of consumption for higher taxes.

A Whip Trick To Save Lakota: The real reason behind the 2013 tax increase attempt

To state that Lakota, like most government schools these days, is operating as a deceptive enterprise built upon open manipulation of the taxpaying public and are dangerously malicious is not inaccurate.  Lakota has said recently that without levy approval in the fall of 2013, the distinct “will” decline.  Those are words from an Enquirer article featuring statements by Lakota Superintendent Karen Mantia who told the school board, “We have balanced our budget but now we’re at a baseline and that is not a good place to be.”  This prompted school board president Joan Powell to declare, “We are in danger of becoming a second-class district.”  Lakota and its administrators are pushing a 5.5 mill levy for the upcoming November 2013 ballot which will raise the taxes per $100,000 in evaluation by $192 based on the premise that they have cut, and cut, and cut till they can’t cut any more, and if they cut any more, every citizen in the district will suffer.  Well, the Lakota members of the administration who have said these things are guilty of deception, manipulation, and malicious action, because there is a very important factor that they did not reveal to the public in these levy talks which they did discuss in the same newspapers at the start of the 2013 year.  However the issue is a bit complex prompting me to explain the situation with one of my bullwhip economic videos.  Check it out.   I explain to Lakota what they should already know themselves.  I use a bullwhip to cut a soda can in half as a proper metaphor to what is in Lakota’s employment future.

The cost of the levy for the average property owner is quite excessive.  The figures I used in the above video were off the top of my head, which I refined further below.  Most homes in the Liberty Township/West Chester area are well over $200,000 each.  The tax increases on homes per year at $200,000 with voter approval of a new Lakota levy will be $384 per year.  At $300,000 a year, which is not at all uncommon, the taxes will be $576 more per year.  And at $400,000 which is quite the standard in Wetherington, Beckett Ridge, and Four Bridges, the tax increase per year will be $768 per year.  But that’s not all.  Commercial property is taxed at the same rate as residential property.  Buildings that are valued at $5 million will go up on that one building $10,000.00 in additional taxes. Buildings valued in this range are typically small strip malls housing several small stores and that cost will be passed down to the 5-7 tenants, who are all small business owners.  Their costs per year will increase about $2,000.00 each, and that’s tough on people with small margins and continuing rising costs in other areas.  In many cases, a tax increase like what Lakota is proposing could shut the doors on many small businesses operating at minimum margins.

The assumption by the government school of Lakota who does not have to do anything performance wise to obtain their profit margins except beg for tax increases, is that if residents can afford a home that is $300,000 to $400,000 in value then they can afford to pay a little more for a tax increase to “help the community’s children.”  They also believe that a property owner with a strip mall or restaurant that is $1 to $5 million in value will happily absorb an extra $10,000 in yearly taxes because they are already “rich.”  What’s a few thousand dollars to a “rich” person?  As ridiculous as that sounds, it is precisely how the administrators of Lakota think, and those who jump on the bandwagon to support the levy.  This is why I call them Lakota Levy Zombies, because they mindlessly pursue tax increases without considering what the impact of that increase will have on the people who pay it.

But worse than anything is the carefully concealed study performed by the McKibben Demographics group who co-conducted an enrollment study for Lakota late in 2012 at a cost of $20,000.  The results of that study indicate that by the 2022-23 school year Lakota will have lost 2,300 students due to declining enrollment trends.  What this means in terms of jobs at Lakota is that the staff will have to be cut by at least 85.1 teachers who would normally teach 27 children per class.  By 2022 Lakota will have to reduce their work force to meet those new enrollment needs.  Over the next 10 years Lakota will save $5.1 million in just teacher salary at an average wage of $60K per year.  That does not consider all the six figure administrators that Lakota will not need to manage those 85.1 teachers.  Lakota will have to close down school buildings and consolidate resources that could easily save between $10 million and $15 million dollars without cutting a single program to the community just because the enrollment numbers will be less.  The projection numbers at Lakota were over 18,000 students during the 2010 school year but will decline to 14,950 by the year 2022.

In addition to those numbers Lakota’s treasurer Jenni Logan stated that Lakota has lost 672 students to other public, community, or private schools, which is a trend that is likely to continue.  Lakota has over the last couple of years taken away busing because their tax increases did not pass.  They have also cut electives for students, and they have raised sports fees.  Parents have reacted by voting with their feet and simply leaving.  Meanwhile Lakota administrators continue to brag about the “tens of millions” of dollars they have cut out of their operating budget attempting to sell those cuts as a “sacrifice” to the quality of their education service, but in all reality, the cuts have been on par with the reduction in enrollment.  In just the last couple of years from 2010 to 2012 Lakota has seen a drop of around 1000 students.  By 2015 the enrollment numbers will be around 15,913 and continuing down from there.  If Lakota continues to complain, and sell themselves as ineffective, more people will vote with their feet and simply leave the community taking their children with them, exacerbating those numbers further.  If that happens Lakota could see a yearly enrollment of 10,000 by the year 2020.

The cause of the decline in enrollment according to Mckibben is that the population in the Lakota district has aged.  Over the next 10 years most homes will be those of empty nesters as the current average age of the Lakota resident is 40.7.  McKibbean explained this trend to the Lakota school board at a January 28 2013 meeting by saying, “You have a very high graduation rate and very high post-secondary participation rate.  Your kids graduate, go off to college and don’t come back.”  However, McKibbean declined to finish that statement.  He didn’t want to insult the people who paid $20K for his study after all.  The reason kids don’t come back to the Lakota district after they graduate college is simple, they can’t afford to.  A twenty something with an average college debt between 50K and 100K cannot afford to purchase a home in the affluent Lakota community where average homes range between $200K to $300K. I know this first-hand because I have children in this age group, and they have moved back to Lakota to buy a nice home of their own in that price range and they looked all over the Cincinnati area for the best opportunity.  They are unusually successful as a professional couple.  They were able to buy a home in the Lakota district.  They are unlikely to use the Lakota school system to teach their children, however they are tax payers in the community.  But most young people their age are so saddled with debt; they can never hope to make enough money to purchase a home in that price range.  This means families with children who might want to use the Lakota school system will not be able to afford to move into the community because property values are so high.  Only successful adults with grown children will be able to continue living in the Lakota district.  That is what is driving the Lakota enrollment decline.

Yet, even knowing this information, Lakota’s administration is ignoring it choosing instead to pick and choose their facts.  They want to give their teachers who average in salary over $63K per year a raise when the collective bargaining agreement with the union is up in 2014.  They are not planning for any reductions in force, or even working their salary structure to meet the community budget established through the election process.  Instead, they are relying on fear tactics to win over voters which is dishonest, and negligent.  Fear tactics like saying “Excellent with Distinction” (at Lakota) is in jeopardy without new tax money.  We are in danger of becoming a second-class district.”

Without context the situation is complicated at Lakota, which is why I explained it with a bullwhip economics video.  Most people take these professional government workers at their word which is a mistake.  People are too busy in their lives to compare the notes of what was said in the media by Lakota eight months ago and what they say now after they examine Lakota’s need for more tax money not due to economic conditions of the Lakota community, but the administration’s own desire to cave under the union demands for a collective bargaining agreement in 2014.  To say anything other than the truth is misleading and after all that we’ve been through at Lakota the administrators still think the taxpaying residents are too stupid to see through their sham.  The facts of the matter is not that Lakota needs a tax increase, but rather they need a major employee reduction of nearly 100 teachers and administrators over the next 10 years.  They should be able to achieve such a reduction with tax decreases over the next decade instead of the other way around, but they will never utter such a truth—because that’s not what they are about.  As government workers they want to do one thing, and one thing only, to grow jobs through government off the backs of tax payers never putting their eyes upon reality in a hope that the formula will never collapse on itself.  But the formula is in serious jeopardy, not just at Lakota, but every school district in the country that is filled with an aging population that isn’t having as many children as they once did, and the children they do have aren’t making enough money to support the tax demands of the growing government.  The recipe for disaster is upon us, and is just now beginning to be seen in the embattled land of Lakota, in Liberty Township/West Chester, Ohio.

The Best Talk Show Host in America: Doc Thompson ignites the flames of liberty with ‘The Blaze’!

What is the strongest beacon for freedom in the world today?  Is it Rush Limbaugh, Fox News, John Stossel, or any other modern commenter, publisher, or financier?  I would say not.  Is it the multitude of freedom oriented websites like FreedomWorks, or American Thinker?  I would say not.  Rather, I would say that it’s a new force to the entertainment world.  Several years ago the former Fox News star Glenn Beck started his own news organization called The Blaze—which is changing the way the news is delivered.  As an online publication that rivals traditional magazines like Time, Life, and People it also specializes in providing the latest scoop on news stories in the way that made the Drudge Report so important to the art of breaking news stories.  But it’s not even The Blaze that I’m speaking about—not as a website based news source.  In January of 2013 Glenn Beck created The Blaze Radio Network which is an all internet radio station that broadcasts online outside of FCC regulation.  Normally these kinds of operations are fly-by-night and built with pure heart, but little money.  Well, not anymore.  Glenn Beck has invested a considerable amount of his personal fortune into the new Blaze Radio Network and brought in top talent like Doc Thompson and his partner Skip to provide 24 hour a day seven days a week news and entertainment radio that is unparalleled anywhere.

I was very disheartened to learn that my friend Doc Thompson was leaving Cincinnati.  I have been a talk radio fan all my life.  I used to lie in bed as a kid and listen to radio broadcasts from 700 WLW and WMOH till the pre-dawn hours while the rest of the world slept, literally and figuratively.   During my working years, I would listen to talk radio through long hours of 2nd and 3rd shift hard labor.  As I grew older and had started participating in talk radio actively I enjoyed being more than just a listener, especially on Doc Thompson’s Cincinnati show.  I respect the art of being a talk show host.  But Doc was a bit too freedom oriented for the sports talk stations of Cincinnati, and was too big of a name to put on a station that didn’t have a voice equaling his own booming enunciations.  So it didn’t take long before Doc moved on to the Detroit market leaving a void in Cincinnati, and the freedom movement that was so strong here.

There are other voices, but on FCC controlled radio stations, they are somewhat handcuffed by their station managers, and the advertisers who essentially control the content.  Doc has been a breath of fresh air wherever he has worked, but the stations he worked for never allowed him to utilize his full potential of talent consisting of humor, deep political analysis, and a tremendous range of topics that he can discuss.  But more than anything, Doc is the opposite of the kind of radio host that Howard Stern has been—he has deep convictions and tries to be a good person.  He wants to do good with his microphone, and that has hindered him during his long career………..until now.  Glenn Beck hired Doc Thompson in January to start off his new Blaze Radio Network with the 6 AM to 9 AM morning show just ahead of Glenn Beck’s national show and the gloves have come off.  For the benefit of my readers here I have placed two of Doc’s recent shows on the following video clips so that they can be listened to on demand in their entirety.  I would suggest playing them and filling your day with their contents.  There is a lot of comedy, loads of great information, and some deep sincerity from Doc and Skip which is typical of them in what I consider to be one of the best radio show in the history of talk radio that was only made possible because of Glenn Beck’s innovative, and bold investment in the enterprise.

The reason I consider The Blaze Radio Network to be the purest beacon available for the freedom movement is because it is free, and it is not under the regulation of the government in any way.  This allows the programming on the Blaze Radio to be unusually unconcerned with regulators who can threaten to pull their license if at least a balanced approach to statist concepts isn’t adhered to.  Every television, and radio station in America is typically concerned about these federal regulations, and it does water down the content, even on programs like Rush Limbaugh’s.

Doc and Skip are for the first times in their life completely free as talk show hosts, and they are making excellent use of that liberty.  Before any organization can hope to be a beacon of freedom to the listeners they service, they must in fact be free themselves.  Because of the commitment of Glenn Beck into The Blaze Radio Network, it is the most “free thinking” broadcasting anywhere in the world.  It functions the way that The Constitution intended with the 1st Amendment of the Bill of Rights, to use free speech not in a destructive way to boost ratings with sex, and deviant discussion, but with high quality content from people who care deeply about the topics they discuss.  And for the first time, radio hosts who work for The Blaze have a boss in Glenn Beck who is just as committed to liberty as they are.

I know Doc Thompson personally.  I have been to dinner with him where he and Skip would not stop doing research for their radio show even at 1 AM in the morning.  Doc never turns off his engine.  He never completely shuts down.  Radio work and the matters of current events are his number one passion.  He is constantly analyzing material for his shows, and he ruthlessly looks for fresh content.  Doc is one of the hardest working people I know, and in entertainment/news, this is certainly the case.

Doc has been fighting for a chance to do what he is currently doing for more than 20 years of radio in cities all over the United States.  In one of his darkest days of recent past, he never let up off the gas.  I remember vividly when his wife Yuna Lee left her television job in Richmond, Virginia so she could finally marry Thompson after several years of a long distance relationship.  Finally they were going to be together, living not only in the same house, but in the same city.  Yuna boldly left her job to take a job at Channel 2 in Dayton where she works to this day.  But the very moment the two were married, Doc lost his job in Cincinnati.  He was always a bit too passionate, too “wholesome,” and too “Tea Party” for the Cincinnati stations, which left him jobless again looking for a home.  Even in those moments when he was most tempted to change his style to fit the producers of radio shows, he didn’t.  He held tight for a syndication deal because he knew he was that good and he needed someone to believe in him with financial backing.

Glenn Beck was that guy, and the benefit to freedom is that finally Doc Thompson has NOTHING in his way to be a serious pain in the ass to statists, progressives, communists, union thugs, race baiters, education empires, and every parasitic entity hanging from the halls of government.  For the first time in his professional life Doc Thompson is free to provide the kind of radio that hasn’t been conceived since the very early days of radio broadcasting before the FCC put its claws into the lives of every radio listener.  Doc takes full advantage of this freedom, as evidence in the over 5 hours of broadcasting played above.  I hope you took full advantage of those clips to let Doc’s voice bring the sounds of freedom to your ears.  The Blaze Radio Network it has nearly replaced all my old news sources.  I play it all the time, at home, in the garage, in my back yard, in my car, on my iPod—especially during flights, on vacation, in the middle of the mountains, and in the deepest valleys while camping.  Because The Blaze is broadcast across the internet, and podcasting is always available on Soundcloud, every show Doc and Skip do can be listened to on demand.  By loading his segments onto my iPod I can attend business engagements pausing his information, then resuming when my time frees up.  When riding my motorcycle, I can broadcast Doc into my helmet through my iPod, which is a completely new technology.  Years ago the only way to listen to a radio on a motorcycle was to have a bulky device attached to the handle bars.  Now I can hear Doc anywhere at anytime of day and the information is free.  CLICK THE LINK BELOW TO FIND DOC’S BROADCASTS ON SOUNDCLOUD:

For traditional radio talk show listeners, The Blaze Radio Network has a full staff that broadcasts out of New York the news at the top and bottom of every hour just like most other AM stations.  They are doing much better work than Fox News is, and certainly leaps and bounds above CNN, MSNBC, or any other news source.  The Blaze guys are on top of just about everything 24 hours a day 7 days a week.  They are always there.

For these reasons listed above Doc Thompson on The Blaze Radio Network is the best and most authentic example of a voice for the freedom movement that there is in the world.  Doc works harder, plays harder, and has the tools in his tool box given to him by Glenn Beck to be a monstrous success, which he and Skip are well on their way to becoming.  What they are doing is the wave of the future, and the most effective form of new media there is.  I trust The Blaze in ways that I have never trusted any other news source. The Worst Kind of Welfare Recipient: Congressman, Senators, Presidents, and all those in between

We often think of welfare recipients as the inner city single mom who has had children recklessly in order to receive more government benefits.  Or the retired crack addicts who spent their youth and money on drugs only to become born again in the eyes of God but penniless, toothless, unemployable adults.  Or the reckless young people who have been taught that they should apply for welfare at every turn by their public schools serving as sign up centers for government assistance promoting reckless behavior so that recruiting for welfare programs is higher.  There is another class of welfare recipient that very few talk about which costs more money than all those demographic stereotypes combined.  That class would be the political class, of which people like Barack Obama and Speaker John Boehner are a part.  In fact the most expensive public housing project in the country by square foot  is The White House where the recipients who live and work there are all welfare recipients living off the public dime.  For a breakdown of this political class of welfare takers listen to Darryl Parks from 700 WLW where he brought his usual stats to an epic broadcast which will forever live in infamy.  Listen carefully!

After listening to Darryl is there any hope that any politician from the local trustee, to a federal senator or congressman will ever do anything to cut off the welfare from which they are empowered to give so much money to themselves?  Does anybody think that John Boehner will reform federal spending which would take money out of the pockets of the House he resides over–of course not; otherwise they would not have picked him as their leader.  Boehner was not picked by members of the GOP in the House because of his high ethical standards, his moral authority; his understanding of law—but rather for his ability to keep the members of the federal government firmly entrenched on welfare.  Under no other operation could any worker anywhere hope to make as much money as people like John Boehner have made in the federal government.

As Darryl Parks stated, the reason politicians like Boehner have been in government for so long and is considered a leader of his party is because he has the ability to raise money.  I personally know some of the people who give a lot of money to Boehner– I’m only picking on him because he is my congressman—so I have firsthand knowledge of the guy.  I know Boehner is a nice fellow who my in-laws spotted in their early days at the Beckett Ridge Country Club where my wife and I were married. They knew him through his family as being an up and coming star in politics.  Paul Ryan as a young whipper-snapper at Miami University down the road from John’s home actually put out yard signs for Boehner’s first congressional run in areas like Trenton, Lakota, Fairfield and his college campus.  The speeches politicians give to get elected are all the same, but the result never changes either.  In spite of all the campaign promises what the members who lobby themselves into the political class are really after is easy money where all they have to do is sign up for the vast number of welfare programs offered by the federal government disguised as salary.

I have been to fundraisers where the plates are $500 a plate so the welfare recipients can make appearances to the public.  Knowing of John and his family most of my life as next door neighbors so-to-speak it shocked me recently to see some friends who were worth millions of dollars willingly pass out invites to one of these John Boehner fundraisers.  These very financially wealthy friends looked toward the event as though they were school girls who had back stage passes to the latest boy band concert.  Boehner had been made up to be a celebrity because he was the third most powerful person in the entire world—according to the media, and that designated celebrity status.

But when I look at John I only see a welfare recipient.  He’s a guy who makes his living making rules, and that is a very parasitic existence.  That certainly doesn’t make him a celebrity in my book.  But worse, he does virtually nothing to earn the vast sums of money he takes as a congressman.  Sure he does a lot of “wheeling and dealing” in Washington, but how much of it is for the good of the country?  Not much.  Most of Boehner’s wheeling and dealing is done for the good of his party, so that he can use the celebrity created by the media to generate money from my friends who are willing to pay $50 to $500 dollars a plate to raise money for his “war chest,” so he can win more elections and gain more welfare wealth.

Does any of this make John a bad guy?  No.  It just makes him a parasitic welfare recipient that our modern statist system of government uses to create celebrity status so more people turn to government for their riches, instead of private enterprise.  To stay in power politicians like John need to convince people of real power—those who are wealthy, that their campaign donations are worthy of his celebrity status—an image created by the media for the benefit of all welfare recipients, from the crack whore of the inner city to the residents of The White House. Once John raises his money and stays in power, he then makes his money by appeasing the mob in congress who often gives themselves raises, while enriching themselves with insider trading and lobbyist bribes.  John claims to have a clean record with lobbyists, but he wouldn’t be House Leader unless he turned his head the other way so others could abuse the system.

Yet the only way that the debt ceiling can stop climbing its way back from the $17 trillion dollar mark is for congress, and the senate to spend less money, and to do that, they have to stop taking so much themselves.  At some point in time they have to stop viewing federal office as a treasure chest full of pirates looting and pillaging as though there were no tomorrow.  The result of that behavior is what we have seen in modern Detroit.  California is next, followed by the entire nation of America.  Politicians robbed Detroit blind just as they are now against every taxpaying district where most of the money collected goes to inflated government pensions, and wages that are not representative of the skill level purchased.  For most of these workers that in the federal government pay near six figures in salary, their actual work is only worth bare minimum wage in the private sector.  There is a reason that Washington D.C. has the highest per capita worth anywhere in the country.  It’s not because they make wonderful cars, or airplanes, or even computers.  All they make in Washington are deals from one welfare recipient to another swapping money stolen from the American tax payer for the benefit of themselves.

To some degree or another anyone who is employed off tax money is a welfare recipient, including those who work at NASA.  If the federal government is involved, the employees are welfare recipients.  Not all of them are diabolical menaces to morality, and some actually contribute to the betterment of science.  NASA has done many great things for America and the world, so in some cases, the money can be worth it.  In most situations however, as in the present day political landscape, politicians were never intended to become so wealthy as social servants under elected office—and they were never intended to make life-time careers out of the election process.  So long as the desire for easy money in politics exists, con artists, lawyers, social parasites, and comb over, insecure womanizers will desire to occupy those halls of power that are built off the sweat of the American tax payer—where looting off of goodness is so common that the violations are as frequent as the raindrops of a summer storm in a monsoon soaked region of the world prying for daylight.

Walking School Buses: More dumb ideas driven by the Zombies of Lakota

Not everyone at the Lakota school system located in an affluent northern Cincinnati suburb is a levy zombie.  16-year-old Emma as a student was fourteen during the period of time Doc Thompson referenced as he was hosting Glenn Beck’s radio show from New York City.  On that very popular midday nationwide radio broadcast Doc Thompson thought back in time to our experiences fighting the Lakota school levy when the district retaliated against voters by cutting busing to residents wishing to impose inconvenience and turn, a “no” vote to a “yes” vote in the next election.   (CLICK TO REVIEW.)  Recently Michelle Obama advocated as part of her nationwide health initiative that school districts activate a really dim-witted program called Walking School Buses, which are essentially packs of kids who walk to school instead of riding in a vehicle.  It wasn’t lost to Doc Thompson the hypocrisy as he remembered the reason for Lakota’s busing cuts and thought it ironic that now Michelle Obama—as the queen of public education avocation was proposing that the very thing districts used as weapons against tax payers was now being sold as a healthy solution.  This prompted Emma from Lakota to call Doc Thompson at his New York City studio to poke some fun at the hypocrisy.  Click the video below to listen to the hilarious radio segment.

As crazy as the dialogue between Doc and Skip was in the radio bit they were not kidding.  The Walking School Bus program is real, and an officially endorsed theory of The White House.  From the website advocates declare:

“Studies show that fewer children are walking and biking to school, and more children are at risk of becoming overweight. Changing behaviors of children and parents require creative solutions that are safe and fun.

Implementing a walking school bus can be both.

A walking school bus is a group of children walking to school with one or more adults. If that sounds simple, it is, and that’s part of the beauty of the walking school bus. It can be as informal as two families taking turns walking their children to school to as structured as a route with meeting points, a timetable and a regularly rotated schedule of trained volunteers.

When beginning a walking school bus, remember that the program can always grow. It often makes sense to start with a small bus and see how it works. Pick a single neighborhood that has a group of parents and children who are interested. It’s like a carpool—without the car—with the added benefits of exercise and visits with friends and neighbors. For an informal bus:

  1. Invite families who live nearby to walk.

  2. Pick a route and take a test walk.

  3. Decide how often the group will walk together.

  4. Have fun!”

Unbelievably the site is actually maintained by the Pedestrian and BicycleInformationCenter for the Partnership for a Walkable America, in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Transportation.  That means that tax payers paid for the employees who came up with this whole idea which was an obvious waste of money.

Public schools for years have done just what Lakota did when they did not pass their tax increases—they took away school busing putting the burden of transportation on homeowners to drive their children to school.  When that method failed to work, which began to happen in the summer of 2010 all across the country as per pupil averages in public schools climbed to around $10K per student, Americans had shown that they had enough and tax requests were being defeated in greater frequency as a diminishing marginal return had been reached.  Now the same kind of public employees who came up with the failed strategy of extorting tax increases against communities have changed their strategy completely and are now declaring that walking to school is good for children.

The foolishness of both stances taken by the government employees involved in these decisions is catastrophic to any society that wishes to advance.  Just for putting their name at the bottom of the Walking School Bus web site, The Department of Transportation should be eliminated.  If walking is what The Department of Transportation considers under their authority, or concern, then they are overstepping their boundaries tyrannically and must be stopped.  If this is the way they spend their time and resources, they are ineffective and worthless.

It was good to hear a young lady from Lakota call into a gigantic national show that has a footprint throughout that portion of the day which ranges between 7 million and 15 million listeners.  Doc is aware that Lakota is seeking another levy, and now that his exposure is national as opposed to regional when he was in Cincinnati his voice carries to many more ears.  It surprised me that a young lady was listening to the broadcast and cared enough to call in and offer some satirical commentary to a ridiculous problem.  The caller Emma was much younger when Lakota implemented the busing cut plan and she has seen, as many students have, the hypocrisy of those who are in charge, and it is good to witness that she cared enough to voice her opinion.  In past levies, the school has used children as pro levy advocates, and certainly Lakota has managed to recruit a fair number of Zombies of Lakota to carry on the progressive message of public education that Michelle Obama so hypocritically represents without any real thought.  But Emma was a ray of hope that not all children or even parents in Lakota are zombies and have the cognition to participate in an intelligent discussion, even on a large national stage that is heard by millions.

As for Doc, I hope he and Skip had a good time on the Flight Walk from New York.  If Michelle Obama and The Department of Transportation have their way we will all walk before we drive, walk before we fly, and find ourselves sitting around campfires awaiting orders from some village chief dictating our movements.  The march of the typical progressive is a regression to the time before invention so to not advance human kind into a new age, but to preserve Mother Earth for all time as a superior idea to the products of human intellect—which they detest.  That is why people who think the way they do are the Zombies of Lakota.

Hilarious ‘Man of Steel’ Review by The Washington Post: The exact reason that American society is failing

One of the reasons I like movies so much, especially ones like Man of Steel is that they challenge social beliefs and the standards of our day.  Prior to the release of Man of Steel, progressive statist lovers who relish themselves in the entertainment industry like maggots on spoiled food had written poor reviews about the new Superman movie basically saying that Kal-El, as he was portrayed in the film, was too good to be believable.  This is a remarkable statement and if one takes the time to let it sink in just a bit, is it any wonder that our society is so broken, so crime ridden, so morally and financially bankrupt?  In spite of the critics, Man of Steel has soared to extraordinary box office success which for me is a social vote against the attempt of progressives to steer our society into more statist philosophy.  When as many people show up to see a movie like Man of Steel in such a short period of time, it is a flat our rejection of the kind of statist culture that is being offered by modern-day intelligentsia.   But the king of negative reviews that I found absolutely intriguing is the one below from Alexandra Petri from The Washington Post.  Apparently the Man of Steel hit a really raw nerve with her, which is good because it shows what these types of people really believe in their hearts.  If I had to guess based on the review by Alexandra, I would say she came from a broken home, found herself passed out and drunk at a party more than once not able to find her cloths, and is having a hard time maintaining a stable relationship with a man.  She is a product of the progressive era, and the public schools that raise millions of children to believe in the same types of diabolical behavior patterns.  Because she thinks in such a way is why the Washington Post hired her to begin with, as she can write articles in a way that the masses can understand—or at least thinks they understand until something like Man of Steel comes along and shows society how far they have fallen from the tree of goodness.  For some, they yearn to take steps in their life to be closer to the ideal of Superman.  For others like Alexandra Petri, they find the idea of Superman to be utterly perplexing, out-dated, and an image that fills them with guilt, instead of hope.  Read her article for yourself.  I put the whole article up with a link at the end.

 

Man of Steel — have we outgrown Superman?

I dislike Superman.

Let me rephrase that.

I don’t like Superman.

I understand that he is America, or Jesus, or both at the same time, with Maximum Levels of Allegory and slightly better hair.

But who is he? A concatenation of catchphrases with perfect teeth and rippling muscles.

He’s perfect, and like anything perfect, he’s bland.

And here I thought it was just Brandon Routh that was the problem.

No, even in the gritty reboot “Man of Steel” currently In Theaters near you, he’s a problem. I saw the movie feeling a sense of obligation. It’s Superman. We love Superman. Of course we’re seeing Man of Steel.

But he feels dated. Everyone else these days is custom — flawed, just like you and me. Superman is one-size-fits-all perfection.

It’s not that he possesses so many virtues. As W. H. Auden said, “A vice in common can be the ground of a friendship but not a virtue in common. X and Y may be friends because they are both drunkards or womanizers but, if they are both sober and chaste, they are friends for some other reason.”

Superman lacks vices. At a critical moment in this summer’s “Man of Steel,” trying to sap his fighting spirit, someone yells, “OH YEAH? Well, you have a MORAL COMPASS and I DON’T!” As taunts go, this is only marginally more menacing than yelling, “OH YEAH? WELL, YOU HAVE REALLY NICE TEETH!” There’s nothing to insult.

Superman is your friend with a truck.

You cultivate his acquaintance in case you ever need help moving or a ride to a wine tasting in the country or defense against alien attack. But you wouldn’t want to sit next to him at dinner. You invite him to your wedding on the off-chance he will turn some of the water into wine. But what do you say to him?

Superman is genetically gifted to the point that he has never actually been required to make conversation. Late in the film, he whips a drone out of the sky, and an officer smiles blandly at him. “He’s kinda hot,” she says. What else can you say?

Let me insert the caveat that I am a fair-weather comics fan. I am the sunshine patriot and summer filmgoer. I didn’t grow up reading the issues or even watching Smallville; maybe there is an iteration of the hero that answers these questions satisfactorily.

At least in the film, his back story is depressing because it turns out he’s not just special for Earth — he’s special for his home planet Krypton, too. “The first natural birth in centuries!” his Space Dad, Russell Crowe, proclaims. Apparently he contains the lives of all future Kryptonians encoded in his body somewhere. It is a pity they forgot to include any personality with that.

But what personality could you fit?

Personality is something you are forced to develop to make people like you in spite of your inherent deficiencies. This is why when people say, “He has a wonderful personality,” it is usually shorthand for “He resembles a fat stoat.” If you are attractive and flawless, like Superman, what personality do you need? This is why Cyrano de Bergerac, with his giant hideous nose, has a rapier wit and is the life of the party, and Christian de Neuvillette, so handsome that people fall in love with him spontaneously across rooms, cannot complete a sentence to save his life. Adversity builds character. If you’re a diamond living among pumice, good luck being shaped into anything. No wonder Superman’s bland. When he gets bullied as a kid, his greatest struggle is not melting the bullies with his eyes. Forget first-world problems; he’s in a category by himself.

Of course, being in a category by yourself is its own kind of pain. He is the last of a species, alone, isolated, orphaned — but we don’t see that in the movie, except in brief flashbacks. If anything, he has too many living family members to be a high-functioning superhero. There’s nothing to latch onto in this Clark Kent, just a flying grin and a lot of explosions.

My understanding of myth structure, from Joseph Campbell, is that the essence of most hero stories is as follows: the hero Goes To The Father To Seek The Boon (getting help from a variety of archetypal figures and overcoming a variety of obstacles on the way), the hero obtains the boon, the hero returns and uses the boon to Save the People.

The trouble with Superman is that he already has the boon. He’s faster than a speeding bullet, capable of — yadda, yadda, yadda. As a consequence, the movie consists of numerous people delivering inspirational speeches to Superman about his unique capacity to save the world, and then he goes and does it. He doesn’t have to struggle to get where he is. But hey, there are a lot of explosions.

Still, is that enough?

What do we need from our myths?

Superman has always been a decently heavy-handed allegory: somebody’s only son sent to dedicate his life to save the human race? Gee. Who might this be?

Everyone else these days is so flawed. Iron Man has something resembling PTSD. Poor Captain America has come unstuck in time. Batman — don’t get me started on Batman. “Hey guys,” Superman says, sitting down at the bar next to them. “Rough day. I’m completely invulnerable to all earth substances, but also, I can fly!”

“Please leave,” Bruce Banner says, turning a little green.

The other superheroes filling our screens this summer have had a process of becoming. Superman doesn’t become. He just lands. He’s just super. He’s all the fun of playing Make Believe with a 6-year-old who keeps changing the rules on you so that he’s invulnerable and always wins.

Superman is the hero we don’t deserve but need right now. Here he comes now with that truck of his, just in time to help.

But that doesn’t mean I have to like him.

It is because of people like Alexandra Petri that we have Barack Obama as president, more scandals in Washington in just a couple of years than all of them combined during the last century, and the moral compass of America that is faltering under rudderless leadership by beta men who eat out of the hand of alpha women, who secretly are always on the lookout for the alpha male—who using Petri’s metaphor–is always the guy with the truck.  It not that she’s a bad person, or even a devious progressive.  In her article, she was honest, so I won’t rip her to shreds over what she wrote.  But she represents a great sickness that is destroying entire generations and is what people like me see as philosophically worse than catching the bubonic plague.

Of course people like Alexandra Petri have to live in their bodies and the minds that have molded them, so they have no other point of reference but to look at a film like Man of Steel and find reasons to make fun of it, because she can’t relate.  It isn’t her opinion that is the problem, but the fact that she cannot relate to a person who does not have vices, or rather that she believes that vices are what built relationships in the first place.  Her statements are as ridiculous as two businessmen who are nurturing a deal, who go out drinking to become intoxicated so both can see weaknesses in each other so that trust between the two can be shared with a common secret.  Any relationship built upon such foundations is doomed to fail, just as a society built on vices, and personal failures will collapse on itself.

I blame the creation of people like Alexandra Petri not on a disagreement over social philosophy, but of the origin of her thoughts to begin with, to the parents who obviously instructed her wrong, to the life situations that shaped her mind to believe that virtue is inferior to vice.  To each and every teacher in her public school that helped mold her mind to believe that having a “moral compass” is an out-dated ideal, and that it is appropriate to be nice to someone just so you can use them to help deliver something with their truck.

Alexandra Petri from The Washington Post represents the common demographic of 20 to 35 year olds in 2013 America—a lost generation that is hopelessly misplaced, and teetering on the precipice of disaster.  The only thing that keeps these rudderless beings afloat is the socialist mechanisms of the previous generation who gave them the New Deal and the Great Society, which are not sustainable financially.   Alexandra Petri is a child of those two progressive concepts and for her Superman is not about hope, but an unrealized ideal of what mankind is supposed to be.  Man is not supposed to be perfect, they are to be flawed, scandalous, and judged not by the merit of their work or quality of life, but by their vices.

Ironically lost to Alexandra is the metaphor that the type of qualities she found important and lacking in Kal-El, are the kind of values that General Zod proposed in the film.  An America led by people like Alexandra Petri are doomed to live out in real life what the fictional fate of Krypton turned out to be.  Yet she didn’t see that parallel.  She just saw her anxiety over the kind of perfection that was presented by Superman with a concept that was so foreign to her that the magic was lost.  For her, she needs people with fault to feel they have a personality, and she is far from alone.  If I had to put a number on the amount of people in society who think the same way she does, I’d say that it’s as high as 85%.  Many of them most likely left the Man of Steel movie feeling the same way, like they know they are supposed to like Superman, in the same way that people are supposed to like church—with a rebellious reverence to the idea of goodness that can be pushed back against with rejection, even though their bodies go through the motions of attending.

Alexandra Petri is allowed to think whatever she wants.  But she is forbidden to make decisions on my behalf, and that includes burdening me with goof-ball presidents like Barack Obama, unmanaged public education costs, government scandals, NSA spying, and more socialism in our current government with more entitlement programs.  Because she can vote, and does, and supports a democratic mode of government, then Alexandra’s bad ideas are in direct competition with my ideas, and those thoughts about reality are not compatible.  When she complains that she wants to see a flawed Superman, she speaks to a desire to create a flawed society—and she votes accordingly.  I on the other hand expect Superman to be flawless, and I live my life in a way to represent that idea.  When Alexandra Petri makes fun of the virtuous perfection that Superman represents, she is stating that my expectations human beings should strive to be all that they can be, and still push for more is too difficult, and unrealistic since such people lack personality, which is more important than value.

When it is wondered why the world is so screwed up, just read the article above and imagine millions of people like Alexandra Petri living their lives looking to hire, befriend, and interact socially not with the best that the human race has to offer, but the worst, because vices, imperfection, and perilous human weaknesses are endearing personality traits that people like Alexandra can relate to—which makes them good.    It should come as no surprise then when our society fails, because it is led in a mob-like democracy by people like Alexandra Petri who have been taught that all the things that are valuable are the things that make human beings the most disgusting.

Jason Easley’s Progressive Dream: “There was no Tea Party in Washington………….”

As the actions are self-evident, and crises are  unfolding, to avoid repeating myself over and over again, I wasn’t going to speak much on the topic of the large rally held in Washington D.C where Tea Party Patriots from across the country joined together to protest the IRS.  But the hilarious analysis of Jason Easley from a very left-winged progressive publication deserves exploration.  Little does young Jason know or bother to discover, but the protests were not just in Washington on that pleasant June afternoon, but all across the nation.  One rally, smaller than the one in Washington was at the office of John Boehner led by my friend Ann Becker president of the Cincinnati Tea Party, as seen in the video below, where many who couldn’t make the trip to Washington due to time constraints gathered to achieve the same intent—to get the attention of politicians who work as our public servants.

Before explaining the significance of the rally in Washington, and West Chester, have a look at what left-leaning dreamer Jason Easley had to say:

Moments before a tea party rally that is loaded with right-wing heroes like Glenn Beck, Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, and Michele Bachmann was about to begin the crowd was estimated at just 5,000-10,000.

At the height of his fame, Glenn Beck drew 87,000 to DC for his Rally to Restore Honor in April 2010. The Tea Party Patriots promised that this would be the biggest tea party rally since 2009-2010, “At noon tomorrow, we are going to tell the world about how the IRS tried to crush the Tea Party movement,” organizers with the Tea Party Patriots organization said in an email to supporters, “…Thousands of volunteers will rally in the largest demonstration of Tea Party support since 2010.”

They aren’t going to even get close to Glenn Beck’s biggest crowd. The livestream host for the rally, The Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft, estimated the crowd to be at 5,000-10,000. I would say that may be on the high-end of things, but it could be a potentially realistic estimate for the overall crowd by the time it is all said and done.

It is a major failure for a rally that has been hyped so hard across conservative media to draw such a small crowd. For the sake of comparison, Jon Stewart’s Rally to Restore Sanity in 2010 drew 250,000 to DC.

Unless there are about 90,000 people stuck in traffic, it looks like this rally won’t be the biggest tea party event since 2010.

It is rather pathetic that an event featuring Glenn Beck, Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, and Michele Bachmann can’t draw a bigger conservative crowd. Once again, the power of the tea party has been greatly exaggerated. The rally only runs from 12-2 PM, so it is not looking good for a huge turnout. The people speaking at and attending this rally won’t believe it, but the IRS scandal has already been debunked.

The first problem with the leftist article by young Jason is of an attendance number that is not in dispute.  Progressives are notorious for attempting to alter reality to their own liking, as their belief system is not rooted in facts, but feeling.  With that said, 87,000 people were just in the front row at the Glenn Beck rally mentioned in the text.  The real number in attendance was a quarter million people.  Progressives needing a response to the overwhelming conservative outcry responded one month later with the John Stewart rally also mentioned which did have decent numbers from bused in union members to make the crowd look as big as Glenn Beck’s rally.  But this report of the event should come as no surprise as the mode of operation for all progressives is evident in the article—pretend that something doesn’t exist which is unpleasant or a threat to their illusion of reality, then carry on as if their version of reality determined through consensus–fact.

The June 2013 Tea Party rally in Washington was able to drum up around 10,000 people in the middle of the week during the summer months.   Additional rallies occurred all across the country, yet the young progressive writer wished to ignore the impact of the rally and instead compared it to the very large and organized rallies of 2010 using that benchmark as the reference point for judgment.  He did such a thing as those combinations of facts fit the reality he was trying to build up in his mind.

Progressives are able to re-write their recollection of events at will because they practice a philosophy of anti-concepts, meaning they strip meaning away from everything so that no value can be attached to anything.  So long as the world functions in this fashion, progressivism can be advocated.  However, the world comes crashing down upon progressives when value is attached to even small things.  In the face of such value progressives lose the argument 100% of the time.  In reporting about the Tea Party rallies all across America, Jason Easley wrote what he wished to be true, not what was actually true.  This is why progressives are parasites to the human condition, and are especially untrustworthy, because they do not deal with facts of reality, but only slinky emotions based on desire.

The facts of the matter are that after three to four years of activity the Tea Party can still organize to stand against the government even after suffering through two years of IRS harassment, and an attempt by the media to completely suppress the movement.  The Tea Party is still able to show up on a whim at the Capital building lawn in the tens of thousands and protest their government while doing the same elsewhere in the country.  And the most frightening aspect of these actions are that the Tea Party, unlike the government employees who work for labor unions, such as what the IRS functions under, are not paid to be there.

The Tea Party does not pay their protestors like the progressive rallies do.  During the John Stewart rally mentioned above compared to the Glenn Beck rally, the AFL-CIO, SEIU, and many teacher unions bused in their members who were actually paid to be present.  For the Glenn Beck rally, the participants paid for the whole event out of their own pocket.  That is the big difference, and that is what terrifies the progressives.  They see vigilant activity still coming from the Tea Party after many attempts have been made to suppress them, yet they still are showing up, and they are angrier than ever.  In the face of such facts, Jason Easley could only count heads and attempt to compare apples to grapes hoping that he could alter reality just by believing that his thoughts can change reality—but they can’t.

The Intent Behind Amnesty: Why enemies of America want open borders

As I was doing research for my novel Tail of the Dragon I was shocked to learn that a major public relations firm that was heavily utilized in New York City had been owned by a British organization.  Since the dangers of public relations are one of the themes in my novel, I wrote about it in the context of the story, but in the process, my editors had removed the direct references during subsequent revisions of the draft.  For obvious reasons, my publishing company did not want to anger a public relations firm that is so instrumental in shaping the way Americans view the world around them, which I can’t blame.  But during the process, I learned first-hand how media is censored quietly with implied threats instead of direct ones, and how truths are suppressed while fluffy dialogue is used to propagate complete falsehoods.  Such is the true story of treachery that is centered on the very real issue of amnesty for current illegal immigrants in The United States.  There are many wealthy forces in the world who have spent a lot of money on public relations promotion to advocate why it is important for America to give illegal immigrants a fighting chance at freedom, as those same forces do everything they can to undermine American freedom by replacing the Constitution with a new document created by The United Nations.  These powerful forces support a borderless world where no country is any better than another, as all nations on the face of planet earth would be equal in every way that equality is measured.  What those forces do not say is that their method of government would be socialism/communism and that rich nations like America would be made to be poor nations like Uganda, and that the immigration policy they advocate is designed strategically to overwhelm America to the point that it is suffering from the same problem as the rest of the world which is described in the following video.  Watch closely:

Those globalist oriented European elite, who have seduced the wealthy of The United States with a kind of country club desire to be among their own kind, have mistakenly designated themselves as the equalizers of justice, in bringing to the world such equality as displayed in the video above.  Their failure is one of philosophy as they deeply wish to hold down the human race by maintaining their grip on power.  This is why these capitalists who made their wealth with free enterprise advocate government that is socialist in nature.  They want their country club to remain intact with people they understand, and wish to exclude competition to their accepted order.  However, it is their policy of socialism that has given all those indicated nations such abysmal poverty and living conditions not much better than a common insect.  So to purify their crime, but still maintain their elite status, they hope to destroy America so that no place on earth can stand against their socialist supported governments.

If you’ve ever witnessed a group of politicians meeting one another in a private setting, the ass-kissing and back slapping that permeates is ridiculous.  But at the core of the strange ritualistic behavior is the deepest, darkest desire of the human mind—an infantile desire to be accepted by one’s peers.  This is how evil is conducted in politics, and this is how a handful of wealthy donors can control the political process from top to bottom. When a politician takes money from a donor, they are like a common whore who sells their body and mind to the donor, and forgo their private action in exchange.  In this way Barack Obama is no better than a common whore on K-Street and neither is John Boehner.  In countries where socialism functions fully, it is unmistakable that the poverty level of all those countries is the ones that are the most governmentally restrictive.

In capitalist countries the poor are even rich by the standards of the Ugandas, or the Chinas.  The poor in capitalist countries are poor because of their failure to participate in capitalism.  They are poor because they allow socialism into their lives.   Socialism and political systems rooted in any form of collectivism produces financially poor people.  Countries that embrace capitalism are much wealthier; in fact the degree to which they are rich depends on the level of capitalism present in their society.  More capitalism, the wealthier the social culture.  Less capitalism the, the poorer.

But the advocates of amnesty in America–the wealthy donors who contribute fortunes of their money to political candidates too stupid to know any better believing they will gain votes from illegal immigrants if they provide amnesty, support socialism among governments so to maintain their exclusivity to wealth.  They do feel bad that their method of government creates poor people, so they rationalize their sin by making such a condition “equal” across the world.  They hope that God in whatever form they worship will see their actions as noble, buying their way into the heaven of their choice with global sacrifice.  They spend vast fortunes on public relation firms convincing Americans that illegal immigration, amnesty, and socialism are good for them.  For an example of how this is done, investigate the review of the recent Superman movie Man of Steel from the Empire Online.

The immigration issue is placed on the mind of virtually everyone with such methods, especially newspaper reviewers and other progressive think-tanks with their hand in the entertainment industry.  The thoughts were placed there by public relations professionals who received the thoughts from clients–the wealthy radicals who want global socialism.  This is how amnesty appears to politicians as a good thing when in fact it is a Trojan Horse for global socialism advocated by a wealthy elite terrified of competition from their betters.

People have been battered into apathy though constant public relations with a monotonous insistence on insane propositions – that a valuable country like America should have an open border, and that anybody who wishes could enter the country and sign up for its entitlement programs.  Those same public relation firms paid for by the same wealthy elitists also wish the world to believe that entitlement programs can be supplied to an infinite amount of people for an infinite amount of time—which of course is false.  What the public relation firms never ask, or seek is the real meaning behind the message—global collapse of capitalism so that socialism, misery, and a world of equally poor inhabitants can permeate the modern age removing competitors from the international market using government to preserve financial empires while at the same time appealing to God almighty in bringing equality to an impoverished world they created through a philosophy of sacrifice.  Impoverished citizens make wonderful subjects willing to kneel before the gods of religion and politics—or so such evil is always justified.

The solution to the world’s problems would not be to destroy America so that the poor will have brothers and sisters to share their misery on the North American continent, but to spread the message of America to those countries so that they too could have wealth, by giving them the joy of capitalism.  If the do-gooders of the world really wanted to rid the world of poverty, they would expand capitalism and abandon socialism.  Upon such an action by the governments of the current impoverished nations, whose citizens make less than $2 dollars a day, poverty would be defeated if capitalism was practiced, instead of tyrannical control and micromanaging of their citizens.  Instead public relations firms—because they are paid like whores to do so—are advocates for more poverty, more control by the wealthy elite shielding them from unwanted competition, and the attack of the only free country on earth which happens to be the premier destination of all who hope to have a life of some worth.  The public relations companies are paid to convince Americans to give up their worth so that it will cease to be a destination of desire.  And part of that removal of worth is by taking away the value of border control, so that no such borders exist leaving value to be determined by chaos.

It may now be obvious why the reference to public relation firms in my novel were removed during the editing process.  I was able to accomplish the same thing without naming the names once the final draft went to print.  But a window to how the process worked at many different levels was available to me.  Knowing that much, it is easy to conclude then what is behind the amnesty for current illegal immigrants.  The action is not one of justice, fairness, or even hope that such people will become productive voters within the American system.  The goal is collapse of America by those who hate the country and pay homage to their European ancestors of the past who tried to destroy the freest nation on earth with guns, tanks, and politics.  Instead, the new attackers of America are using bankruptcy backed by political socialism to destroy their greatest competition on the world stage with a secret desire to keep everyone dirt poor, and hopeless so that the destitute masses will chastise themselves to sacrifice themselves to their wealthy masters.

Why Gun Clips Should Be Unlimited: The true intentions behind gun control

Below is the first of several public service announcements MB Studio Productions is producing to demonstrate who gun laws really affect and why they don’t work.  The video is well made, and accurate.  It creates a scenario where two scum bags decide to raid a random home because it looked like a viable target.  The home owner detects the threat, and opens fire once the first assailant enters the home.  I have been on both sides of that type of scenario and can confirm that it is very close to the re-creation.  Every pin-headed politician who does not understand why a home owner needs a gun with multiple round clips, or firearms that are military designations in their performance, they are naively foolish in not understanding the kind of evil that pushes the behavior of criminal activity.  I know evil very well and the scene produced by MB Studio reminds me of several friends I’ve had in the past who fear nothing, have no care for the lives they wreck and a completely absent sense of right and wrong.  It is from those kinds of people who the Second Amendment is designed to protect our property from the forced confiscation of wealth and dignity.

Progressives in their war against goodness have decided that a fully government managed society is the only one they desire.  They do not care if individual lives are wrecked by criminal behavior because they regard the individual as a necessary sacrifice for the greater good of society.  They see such home invasion robberies shown in the dramatization as “collateral damage” to their progressive cause.  Progressives do not like private property, so they certainly don’t support a Second Amendment to protect it.  Rather, they support the type of managed society that calls the police and the meat wagons to clean up the dead bodies.  Progressives only care when they find themselves the victims of crime, but calculate the odds of such a thing happening are as frequent as being struck by lightning.  So they are happy to “sacrifice” the Second Amendment for their version of the “greater good”.

It is because of the vile, statist progressive that home invasion laws favor the criminal to begin with.  In the case of the video shown, the home owner fired first, which would have caused him trouble in court later as aggressive county prosecutors looking to make names for themselves justifying eight years of college attempt to prosecute home owners to advance their government sector jobs with progressive ass-kissing—which makes great headlines in progressively owned newspapers—who love government schools, large police departments, massive fire departments, and more government bureaucracy on every city block.  Anything that advances big government ideas are supported by the progressive even if the man defending his family with a firearm by blasting criminals who enter his home goes to jail for murder.  Progressives do not care if the father is thrown in jail as the children can be raised by their government schools and the wife can be placed on government assistance.  If she cannot afford to keep the home provided by her marriage to her husband, then she can move to government housing, as all statists know that under Agenda 21, that is the eventual goal anyway.  For the woman who loses her husband to years in jail for defending their home, she will simply see those days sooner than later—as all members of society will join her under progressive plans.  In this way, the tax payer supported prosecutor sides with the criminals and is the enemy of the homeowner.

Progressives see all property as everyone elses, so the laws which have been shaped in our modern society reflect this trend.  A home invader cannot be simply shot on site as they may not be armed.  They may only want food and water and these things are entitled to all human beings under the version of reality that the progressive functions under.  The progressive thinks in essentially the same fashion that the communists of the Soviet Union once believed, or the people of current China.  The greater good is more important than individual life—this is how progressives can support abortion causes and the occasional death of home invasion victims, because they know that reckless sex makes more women desire government assistance and crime expands a community’s desire for more police—all of which are activities that grow government workers.  If individual lives are ruined in the process, the progressive does not care.

The way the world should work is that such bandits as shown in the video above should be eliminated before they ever enter the property parameters.  The laws the way they are currently written protect criminals from the homeowner so they care nothing to knock on a door at any hour of the day and demand to use a phone, or seek shelter for some emergency.  Once a bad guy is on the front porch, conflict favors him and the homeowner is at a disadvantage.  The home owner should have the right to eliminate a threat just for being on their property—which would discourage bad guys from even making the attempt.  For those who have never known pure evil, they can claim ignorance—which is the way the progressive functions with everything in their life.  They intentionally strive to be stupid so they can have plausible deniability.  This method doesn’t just work with President Obama and his IRS—who are massive progressive government advocates, but with just little details in everyday life, like who is going to pick up the child from soccer practice, and what day is trash night—as one spouse may not enjoy the tasks and seek evasion to keep them out of the activity.  If one does not wish to take out the trash, they can simply say they forgot which day it was, because they had plausible deniability beforehand.  If a progressive wants to end private property, individual rights, and expand government support of Homeland Security, the FBI, or the local police, then they will attack the Second Amendment so that citizens need government for safety.  Their supposed intentions toward justice are simple plausible deniability schemes to expand government.

The greatest fault of the progressive is in their commitment to intelligentsia for solving all social problems with a version of civilization that is built upon evasive ignorance.  As society is “bigger” than any one individual the society gets the attention and any number of individuals are to be sacrificed for the “greater good.”  In this way the progressive feels they are nearly a religious cult against the individual whims of gun owners who desire to selfishly protect their properties which have no value to the progressive.  The progressive believes that they can manage all aspects of human life from food supply, sex, and intellectual stimulation—and that once they are in every part of a human life, then all human beings can be “managed.”  Progressives believe the criminal in the video above is equal to the homeowner, so they do not pick sides, and do not care who kills who in the grand scheme of things.  But they will side with the criminal by restricting the home owner with laws so that the crime can advance their progressive causes for more police, more government dependence, and the ever-present fear of the unknown.  In the grand reality of our modern-day, the criminal is more valuable to the progressive than the responsible home owner because the criminal advances progressive politics, where the homeowner does not.  The gun takes away the fear that progressives need to advance their statist government philosophies.

Progressives are just as dangerous as the criminals in the video.  They both wish to impose themselves upon individual lives.  The criminal is simply the foot soldier of the progressive politician—allowing the politician to have deniability while the dirty deeds are done by the criminal.  The progressive hopes to have a certain percentage of the population that is hooked on drugs, or working for the criminal element, because it gives government something to do, and a reason to expand.  If there is peace, and if the home owner can simply end all threats to their home and families with a gun, then the progressive is at a loss, which is what they fear most.
