The Dream of Gus Hall: Why John Brennan lost his security clearance and was an insurgent within America

During a lie detector test taken during his CIA application process, John Brennan admitted that he voted for Gus Hall, the Communist USA presidential candidate. He justified that he was doing so to show his unhappiness with the system. Brennan was hired by the spy agency and during 25 years with the CIA his work included work as a Near East and South Asia analyst, as station chief in Saudi Arabia, and as director of the National Counterterrorism Center. After leaving government service in 2005, Brennan became CEO of The Analysis Corporation, a security consulting business, and served as chairman of the Intelligence and National Security Alliance, an association of intelligence professionals. Brennan served in the White House as Assistant to the President for Homeland Security between 2009 and 2013. President Obama nominated Brennan as his next director of the CIA on January 7, 2013. The ACLU called for the Senate not to proceed with the appointment until they confirmed that “all of his conduct was within the law” at the CIA and White House. Brennan was approved by the Senate Intelligence Committee on March 5, 2013, to succeed David Petraeus as the Director of the CIA by a vote of 12 to 3. Once Donald Trump became president Brennan threw himself in front of the new White House and became an activist against the reconfigured Republican Party. After his work at many aspects of a phony investigation into the Trump administration and inflammatory interviews on television, Brennan had his security clearance revoked, as it should always have been.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_O._Brennan

Meanwhile the FBI agent in charge of many of the investigations involving the phony hit on the Trump administration was terminated from the agency just a few days before for conduct unbecoming to the responsibilities that were given to the intelligence agency. Both Peter Strzok and CIA agent John Brennan had abused the power given to them under the protections of the American Constitution and acted in ways that obviously sought to undermine it. They both acted in treasonous ways and what happened to them is actually quite light. Strzok should have been fired two years ago, but if we are to be honest he was just doing some boot licking for the people at the top of American intelligence, James Comey, James Clapper and the old communist provocateur, John Brennan.

When Brennan announced that he had voted for a communist the alarm bells then should have stopped the hiring process into the CIA. After all, the CIA would shortly after that interview send Brennan to the very heart of communism in South Asia and the Near East working to supposedly advance American interests in those regions. But having such a weak mind to be disturbed by the system to actually vote for a communist in Gus Hall showed that the new CIA employee would be easily tempted by the communists in Asia rather than remain unaffected emotionally in the service of capitalism.

Obviously the Obama administration was not a capitalist loving enterprise functioning within the White House. Brennan had the president’s ear because the two obviously shared a view of America that was anti-imperialist as defined by that South Asian corridor from China down into Indonesia. Brennan moved up in the Obama White House eventually taking over the entire CIA which is an appalling thought that such a person could have access to so many records on all of us. That the master spy agency was being led by someone who actually found the things Gus Hall had said appealing.

There was no way to confuse what Gus Hall was all about, he was very open about it back then. Listening to his old interviews it sounds unmistakable to the modern platform of the Democratic Party. It could easily be concluded that all through Brennan’s years within the CIA that the advancement of communism may have actually have been their goal as a way to control those populations from a state perspective. Likely it was because John Brennan had voted for Gus Hall that he got the CIA job. It is surely why he was pulled back into government service once the Obama administration took control in 2009. He was a known anti-capitalist insurgent within the Beltway and Obama loved him so much that he put him in charge of the entire CIA.

Of course, the Obama administration over did it. Yes, the CIA and the FBI was spying on you and I and they were taking names of those who were causing trouble, and if Trump had not won the election in 2016 many of us would be in even more trouble today. Of course, John Brennan was working against us, and we knew it. That’s why many of us voted for Donald Trump, because it was either that or to take up arms against a government trying to destroy our capitalist system and to replace it with one that Gus Hall would have liked. We were well on our way to that eventual destruction on the night before November 7th 2016. Clapper, Brennan and Comey had done the back-door work of the Obama administration to ensure that Hillary Clinton could pick up the torch for Gus Hall and carry America over into that long desired communist state, and that we’d all become more like China. That was certainly the dream of John Brennan.

That dream died when Trump was elected sending all these intelligence agency heads sympathetic to the communism of Gus Hall scrambling. One by one they were starting to be fired and were losing their once lofty status as the top of the food chain. Brennan who had been one of the biggest villains against Trump due to his deep commitment to a communist world needed to lose his security clearance. After all, he had been using it to leak things to the press to attempt to undermine the Trump administration at every juncture. To be fair, the new President gave Brennan the benefit of the doubt and didn’t make any hasty moves. But Brennan continued to use any influence he had to attempt to destroy Donald Trump. Taken from his point of view, Donald Trump was everything John Brennan had committed his life against. Trump was an unapologetic capitalist who was taking the country back toward guilt free money-making and personal enjoyment as a sovereign country. Brennan and his insurgents dreamed with every thought they could manifest that America would essentially be swallowed up by China and the world would unite under communism. In his years at the CIA the foundations were put in place, a lifetime of work applied, and within a few months the whole thing was torn down.

From that point of view its easy to see why Brennan is angry at Trump. The trade war with China is the final nail in the coffin for Brennan’s CIA plans to unite America with China and to bring about the dream of Gus Hall. Corporations were to become property of the state and the central government would become the world’s CEOs. That was always the plan until Donald Trump was elected and shattered them. And thankfully Brennan is out of the government loop for good. He has lost his security clearance, corrupt FBI agents are being terminated, and the world of the communist sympathizers within our own country is falling apart. And for that we all have something to celebrate in America. Communism from within has been rooted out starting with John Brennan, and there will be many more to come.

Omarosa the Dog: The context behind the comment

It wasn’t black people or a group of women who decided to record General Kelly and apparently others in the White House situation room, it was Omarosa Magnigault Newman. Various political groups identified through peer politics were not responsible for her illegal actions in breaking a confidentiality agreement with her employer. Therefor when Donald Trump called her a lowlife dog he wasn’t calling all women a dog or even black people. Yet that was the defense thrown up to defend the former White House staff member who was given a job out of kindness when the president showed his anger at having someone who had been close to him betray him for a climb at her own brand of celebrity. Trump’s term as Omarosa “the dog” is purely out of hurt and intended toward her as an individual. People say Trump should have known better and never given her such an important job to begin with, but I understand what he was trying to do. He liked her and wanted to give her a chance at something really respectful, and she fell short like a lot of people do, and it disappointed him. Sure he could have hired a more polished person for that position, and she should have considered herself lucky for even having the chance. But Trump was also trying to think outside the box and when things work, they work wonderfully. When they don’t, sometimes you get a Omarosa.

At the heart of the criticism of her is her blatant disrespect for the opportunities that she only obtained by riding on Trump’s coattails. A person like her will never amount to anything if left to her own merits so Trump being the eternal optimist that he is thinks he can fix anybody. That is a trait that I share with the president and is one of the reasons I like him so much. He’s willing to take chances on people the way a poker player will make bets even if their hand is weak, because they believe if they stick with it, that things will turn in their favor. It takes guts to take someone you know isn’t going to get many opportunities in life and give them a shot at the big picture. From my own experience such things fail about 80% of the time, but when they work 20% of the time really good things usually happen so the payoff is most of the time worth it. But you have to be willing to have failures, to make some bets that won’t lead directly to a payoff.

Looking at Trump’s White House at the Michael Cohen situation, of course Omarosa, General Flynn, even Roger Stone and Alex Jones, Trump isn’t afraid to make bets on wild people because often the payoff for one of them leads to a big treasure. But when the others fail, it looks like chaos to people who don’t understand what’s going on. If the goal of the White House was to look professional, then Trump should hire only people finely polished out of the media industry and the university system. But when Trump wins, like he did with Kellyanne Conway and Sarah Sanders, the benefits far outweigh the downside. When people are critical of Trump’s management style what they are really mad at is that he has steered away from convention always going for jackpots instead of playing the safe game and putting an emphasis on the visuals of an Executive Branch that matches the rest of Washington D.C. culture.

If you are a person with a big personality, like Trump has, you can endure disappointments. Just like in poker, you may lose a few chips on a bluffing hand, but the payoff comes when you find that real diamond in the rough and find they outproduce and outthink everyone else. It’s worth dozens of failures to find that one exceptional individual, and obviously that was what Trump was trying to do with Omarosa, and Steve Bannon. Most people can’t handle it though when they go from relative obscurity to being a respected figure around the globe, so they sabotage the efforts as a psychological defense mechanism against their own self-perception. That was clearly the case with Steve Bannon. That is certainly what Omarosa is doing and that is why Michael Cohen started to flip to the other side on the FBI case. Notice how now that the FBI is falling apart in its case against Trump that Cohen is trying to mend fences in little ways? That is the way it is with these edgy people. When they are good they are great. When they fall off the fence for which their lives are entangled, they fall hard and often break more than bones.

It hurts to put a lot of love and effort into people only to have them turn back toward decadence and the life of a loser. But you can’t often shape them into wanting to be a better person, especially if their upbringing trained them to be losers. You can hope like Trump obviously does that people will listen to you and want to be better, but you often can’t polish a turd into a diamond. Most of the time the materials just aren’t there to make it happen and the people you invest in fail. But that still doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t try. If you are a person of boundless energy, like Trump is, then there is always energy to give someone a shot. Omerosa is one of those people, he should have tried, and he did. She just couldn’t hack it and when she realized it, she started recording and plotting for her own tell all book and chance at fame on her own volition. So sure, it hurts President Trump and he appropriately called her a dog for her actions.

However, his comments are not racist. As I’ve explained often, Republicans who truly believe in individual rights cannot be racist. Omarosa is being judged on her individual behavior, not her connections to any groups whether they be that of women or those of blacks. And she can’t hide behind those groups when she gets herself in trouble which is precisely what she has been doing. It is not Trump’s fault that she flew too close to the sun and had her wings melted and lost her courage for what the administration is trying to do, that she retreated to the world of identity politics where her own insecurities could be hidden behind group assimilation.

Omarosa is a dog because like that canine species of quad walking feces eating suck asses they are often happy to sit at the side of a table and eat the scraps that people throw down at them, and that is where she has retreated. Trump tried to dress her up and give her an actual seat at the table out of compassion for her, but she just couldn’t hack it. So she jumped down off the chair and started to wag her tail begging for table scraps. For Trump that is a painful realization because she could have just eaten directly from the table, but after all, she’s just a dog. Put a dress on her, give her a nice place to reside, but she still wants to act like a dog, so he called her what she showed him was her preferred conduct. And that wasn’t racist, or sexist, it was just the correct observation of reality.

No Real Republican Can Ever Be a Racist: Exploring the history of Neo Nazis, Antifa and “Unite the Right”

We have to talk about the various protests on the one-year anniversary of Charlottesville, one of which took place right outside the White House over the weekend of August 12th 2018. About two dozen white supremacists had filed a petition for permit to have a rally called “Unite the Right” which inspired the aggressive leftist anarchists Antifa to the site to engage in hostilities. As far as political theater the media tried to paint the picture that it was right versus left in a prebattle for the midterms. But in reality it was like Hitler, Stalin and Mussolini arguing over who was more to the political right than the other—which would be odd since they are all extremist lefty groups. Communism is certainly a concept of the political left. Socialism for which Germany was driven by is another extreme leftists’ philosophy, and fascism which was the theme of Italy was somewhere in the middle of those two on the political spectrum as Mussolini operated. There is nothing even remotely conservative about any of those three things. There is nothing conservative about a “neo Nazi.” And I would propose that no real conservative could ever be considered a racist. It’s just not possible.

Conservatives believe in individual merit and rights. That makes any group associations a definition as to how conservative a person might be. If a person is white and is in a country club full of rich white people who are mostly male and have incomes over a million dollars a year, they are more liberal and less Republican than the auto mechanic down the road who minds his own business, votes in every election and teaches his family values diligently every day of their life. The country club people tend to think in group associations by their very nature which erodes their conservative foundations epistemologically.

One of the reasons that America is such a melting pot where people from all over the world have been able to successfully come and make good livings is because of Republican government and the concept of our Constitution, which enables individual rights as opposed to group associations. Any real conservative would never look a person and judge them by their skin color or their ancestry. No person on earth should be judged by the lives of their parents or grandparents. They should be judged based on what they do as individuals.

Following that logic, no race of people could be scrutinized if the individual merit of their actions is taken into account. The KKK was never a branch of Republican thinkers, they were all Democrats from the south. It was Republicans that ended slavery, they didn’t conduct it. And in modern times, it is Republicans who offer opportunities and prosperity through proper government, not Democrats who seek to exploit races of people for political gain. Nobody who looks at groups of people and tries to lump them together as one identity can properly call themselves a Republican because the philosophic meaning provides a quandary that is impossible to resolve through logic.

Ironically this problem was solved by Clint Eastwood in several of his movies during the 70s and 80s. The left leaning media often attacked Eastwood films as being right leaning and part of what’s wrong with America. So Eastwood tackled the situation directly in his comedies such as Every Which Way But Loose, Any Which Way You Can, the cop drama Magnum Force and the romantic comedy Pink Cadillac. In each of those movies Clint Eastwood showed the difference between the Neo Nazi and himself as represented by a kind of libertarian Reagan Republican. Eastwood was always the loner individual who had groups of neo Nazi’s always chasing after him. American audiences loved Eastwood and those films made a lot of money and are still very popular to this day because they represent how most Americans see themselves. The distinction Eastwood made in his movies was clear and that’s why even at age 88, he is still loved by much of the Trump political base.

Racism has never been a part of Republican ideas. There are of course various degrees of conservatism, there are the country club types and they consider themselves as a group superior to the mechanic because there are more of them present at the cigar bar on Tuesday nights, but we are talking about subtle differences. I call such people RINOs. John Kasich is certainly one of those types and the split in the Republican party presently is due to this philosophic distinction. Kasich expanded Medicaid in Ohio under Obamacare in an effort to exploit the poor. He says God made him do it, but even that concept of God is a kind of leftist notion because when you really pull back the layers of religion, any religion, you will find many of the same ideas that make communism, socialism and fascism so attractive to weak-minded people today. But Kasich as a left leaning Republican wanted to run for president so he expanded Medicaid to pull in middle ground voters. He didn’t deal with people on their own individual merit, he packaged the poor into a nice demographic group, threw some money at them to win their votes and called it compassion. I call it racism. Whether it was white poor, or black poor, it was still group assimilation for the benefit of political power.

There were no conservatives protesting in front of the White House at the “Unite the Right” protests. There was no “right.” There were only various degrees of left leaning radical’s hell bent to take society back to a theocracy and fulfil the requirements of the Vico cycle. Tattooed skin heads and KKK members with white masks are not members of the Republican party but by their own names. To hide their acts of left leaning sentiment they have attempted to duck behind the Republican party in the same way that some modern loser sitting in a Waffle House in the middle of the night reading the Bible and proclaiming that God tells them to hate black people using some long dead uncle who knew someone who married someone who had an affair with someone in a king’s court in France 400 years ago to justify their worth in life as an utmost failure because they can’t stand on their own merit.

Most Republicans don’t defend themselves from these accusations and the media knows they won’t, because most conservatives are so independent that they never make the connection that the people being called racists are them because they don’t see themselves as a group. That is why they seldom ever defend themselves from attack, because their minds just don’t think that way. However, that is exactly what the media is trying to portray, and they count on nobody hitting back from the conservative right. That’s how these vile people have gotten away with such things for so long. But that’s coming to a close now. People are learning. Trump has given people their own version of Clint Eastwood in real life to rally behind and that Genie is not going back into the bottle. The media has just made themselves less relevant in the process because there are options out there where smart conservatives can go and not be called a racist just because some liberal tried to connect the dots where no dots appeared. And that distinction will only grow in the future leaving all these radical leftists with no place to hide, which makes them violent at first, but heavily exposed to the realities of the world.

When Donald Trump Won the Election of 2016: Now is the time to declassify all FBI documents related to Fusion GPS

It is certainly time for President Trump to get involved in the FBI case against him. With the new information out about the Deputy Attorney General under the Obama administration Bruce Ohr and his wife’s employment at Fusion GPS and how funds going directly from the Clinton campaign into Christopher Steele’s action on the Russian dossier the criminal activity exhibited in the summer of 2016 to manipulate an American election is quite ominous. All the people including Robert Mueller are employees of the current Executive Branch and it’s quite obvious that the real crime was never collusion of Trump’s election team with any Russians, it was all along the Democrats working with anybody and everyone to keep Trump from ever getting elected. The entire process had been rigged to usher Hillary Clinton into the presidency and it would have worked if Trump had been a traditional candidate. But lucky for us, he wasn’t and that wrecked the plans that all these bad people working directly between a political campaign, the FBI, the Obama White House, and the Department of Justice. What happened during the election of 2016 is the biggest scandal in modern global politics and a lot of people need to be punished to prevent it from ever happening again.

There were two events that occurred in October 2016 that changed history. The first was the second debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump the Sunday after the big Access Hollywood tape was leaked to the press. When Trump showed up for that debate everyone—and I mean everyone—except maybe me and a few others—thought Trump was done. But he showed up that Sunday with some of the women Bill Clinton had abused over the years and put them in the audience during the debate, and he let Hillary Clinton have it. He turned a scandal into a huge knockout on his part toward Hillary Clinton’s campaign. The second event was the Al Smith Dinner on the night of October 20th, one night after the third and final presidential debate. Trump according to all polls was 13 points down and all media outlets were happy for the drama but gave him no chance to win. And looking back now we know that the fix was well in. That’s why when Hillary spoke at the dinner she thought she was already in the White House. After all, the FBI, the DOJ, and the entire media was in her corner and had essentially assured her victory. Yet when Trump spoke at that dinner he sounded like he was ready to fight and he took on everyone right there in front of their faces. It was that night that I knew he was going to win. I didn’t believe the polls, I didn’t believe the pundits, but I did believe in Donald Trump. This guy was a fighter and convention alone wasn’t going to bring him down.

We know now why Director Comey was on and off on his investigation into Hillary Clinton, because he knew they were in deep over their heads in scandal and he was trying very hard to make things look on the up and up. Shortly after the Al Smith dinner when they thought everything was in the bag for Hillary, James Comey reopened the investigation only to stop it again days before the election on November 7th. The FBI was being used by the Department of Justice to give the impression of a clean bill of health to Hillary just prior to winning so that when Clinton won nobody could say that she had committed any crimes. The plan of course was to have Donald Trump beaten in October with scandals of his own that would have sunk any other candidate, but Trump stuck to the grind stone and his campaign climaxed that night at the Al Smith Dinner where Trump showed himself to be the superior candidate for the role of occupant in the Executive Office. Trump had all the needed skills to be president and to turn the country around and people saw past all the rhetoric.

It could also be argued that Trump won the night before the election hitting Michigan one last time at 1 AM on the night before election day. Trump simply outworked Hillary Clinton and showed all his good stuff in that pivotal October in 2016, and people made their decision on election night. It had nothing to do with Russians. But the real crimes had already been committed and when Trump did get elected, a lot of people were in deep trouble, many of them in attendance at that Al Smith Dinner. Trump had defeated them even when they had thrown everything but the kitchen sink at him, and now they are left bare and exposed. They did the only thing they could do and that was to go on the attack. They used the Russian dossier as a way to extort Trump into starting his presidency on his heels defending constant accusations and seeking the protective arm of James Comey to keep the big mean people away. Instead of Comey gaining more power under Trump, he lost all of it and was fired. That left Comey to resort to Plan B and to leak information to the press to inspire the Robert Mueller special prosecution, which Trump has played along with to not appear to stand in the way of an investigation against him and abusing his powers of office.

But now it’s all out in the open. The cards have been put on the table and Trump needs to clean things up before the midterm elections. The bad people involved at all levels of the government in conjunction with the Democratic party need to be exposed before they win more elections, so now is the time to act. It is obvious the role that Bruce Ohr played with his wife Nelly in the scandal and the abuse of the DOJ working directly with a political campaign at the presidential level is much, much bigger than Watergate. People have to go to jail otherwise the FBI will never get their credibility back. Going back to watch that Al Smith Dinner footage and knowing what was going on behind the scenes now after two years of investigation and leaked text messages between FBI agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, we know what Hilary knew that night, that all she had to do was walk to the victory because everything else had been taken care of. Donald Trump just hadn’t received the memo yet. Instead he went to the Al Smith Dinner thinking he was actually going to win which shocked everyone, and he fought hard to make it so, and eventually as we all know now, he did.

Donald Trump won because so many of us who voted for him knew that political fixes were occurring all the time. We had watched many candidates we supported over the years go to that Al Smith Dinner and lay down for the media and let them rub their bellies with self-deprecating humor which of course made them lose on election night. But not Trump, no matter what they threw at him he tossed right back and then some. And now its time to do that to this Mueller fiasco and let the FBI clean house. Its time for some people to go to jail, including Hillary Clinton. I know the election is over and the Clintons are out of power but it’s the point of the matter. For what they all tried to do in rigging an American election, with the Obama administration helping through the president’s DOJ, the crimes are much more serious than most people can register. And if justice is not issued, there will never be any credibility restored to our highest offices. That means Trump will have to get involved and push for the declassification of all these documents related to this matter and crush the Mueller witch hunt exposing the Democrats for all their ill deeds. And the time to do it is before the election of 2018. Put them on their heels for a change, they deserve it.

Why the World Needs a Space Force: Thinking back to the moon landing and the vile music festival of Woodstock

It is a little surprising that there is so much mockery toward the Trump administration over the new fifth branch of the armed forces they are proposing called the Space Force. We’ve known and talked about it for a long time on this site and many others that progressives are actually a regressive group of people who desire with everything in their being to follow the human trajectory of the Vico cycle and to return to a world of theocracy, as mankind has done over and over again throughout history for what looks like many hundreds of thousands of years. That is the nature of politics, to control mankind in a sort of passive role under the rule of our planet and its conditions. Modern progressives in order to sell their warped desire to control all human effort simply can’t have people leaving earth and settling in space because once that happens they lose power and influence over the direction of all achievement. Out the window go the carbon credits, the taxing of farts from people and animals, the emissions of cars and capitalism, and the development of suburbia. By moving into space and settling on massive space stations as exotic metal minors on the moon, around Venus and Mars, the moons of Jupiter the concern of over populating the earth goes away. Humans can have all the babies they want, they can even double or triple their intellectual power with the use of artificial intelligence, all the concerns of today regarding human influence over that goddess mother earth go away. So why are liberals so against Trump’s Space Force and why is it so mocked?

The Trump administration had a nice little fundraiser where they presented several concept drawings for the new Space Force and I picked the design that was mostly red that looked a lot like the NASA emblem. As I made the selection I was proud to do it because it felt like a step forward that should have happened many years ago. The point of a blog like this as opposed to writing for a magazine or a newspaper is that I can bring my personal experiences into focus to share with readers which makes it an unusual platform if you are the kind of person with a lot to say. That happens to be an excellent description for my particular lifestyle as I cover a lot of topics that I am personally interested in, and even professionally involved. I was born one year before the moon landing so I’ve watched this thing come and go in strange ways. I was in high school as the space shuttle program was the envy of the world and I watched three eight-year presidents reduce NASA to an Islamic study group prior to the Trump administration. I’m close to aerospace in many aspects, its something I’ve always enjoyed and wanted to help advance in any way possible because I see it as the next great frontier. As I share often my favorite period of American history was the westward expansion into the American west during the gold rush period which created massive wealth for a new nation and I see the space age as a new period with the same level of potential, actually proportionally greater.

Just this past week my wife and I got a call about a hot new condo property coming available at Cape Canaveral where our family has some vested interest in providing housing to the great engineers who come and go from assignments at the Cape. Business was good through the late 80s and 90s but dropped off considerably during the second term of the Bush administration and was utterly destroyed during the Obama years where that socialist president pointed NASA to Russia and told them that if they wanted to study space, then ride with the Russians. No more Space Shuttles, and nothing was coming after. Of course, from the investment side of things you can’t plop down a half million dollars on a condo that no engineers are going to use because there’s no work at the Cape. But for this latest proposal it looks attractive because Space X has moved in and is routinely firing off rockets into space putting a lot of people to work with their fabulous Falcon 9 which just launched again the other night. And with the Trump administration getting behind NASA once again, things are looking good again at the Kennedy Space Center, and they should always have. If America is going to climb out from under the massive debt that Trump inherited of over 20 trillion dollars that money has to come out of new markets and revenue streams. Space is where that revenue is at, and the United States needs to be in charge of it, for the sake of the entire world. Seeing the situation up close it has been sad, but now the entire market is looking better and the next great frontier is there for us to enjoy as the next great adventure.

Talking about the moon landing which occurred on July 20th 1969, I actually remember it. I was just over one year old. I have memories of it and before which is unusual, for being so young but it was hot. We didn’t have air conditioning and I was sweating but I remember the day being hot and very sunny outside and the sounds of the television as the radio broadcasts came back from the moon and my mom talking about what an important day it was. Then I remembered the news reports a month later coming from the music festival in Woodstock on August 15th. It was ugly to me, to see so many people stuck together in the mud of a field listing to music that I have never liked—depressing loser music. As I became older I was able to think about those two events often and came to understand them as two choices of American direction. Woodstock was the progressive answer to the moon landing. The stuffy engineers in their suit and ties at NASA versus the naked hippies and drug induced losers of Woodstock. One group was saying yes to new challenges of human endeavor, the other was saying no, let’s go back to being a tribe of hunter and gathers erecting rocks to the gods and having sex in front of each other covered in mud while our language is reduced to tribal chants. The same debate rages today, those descendants of Woodstock are now running universities, magazines and television stations and are the foundation of progressive politics while aerospace development has been continually ridiculed by them in what we call the Mainstream Media. Those same stuffy suits still desire to explore what’s beyond earth like a teenager wanting to move out of their parent’s house and start of life on their own.

By acknowledging a Space Force progressives know there will never be any going back because government in the context of American history never gets smaller, it only grows and if that growth is to encompass the level of personal freedom that conservatives demand, then the influence of American reach must grow to justify that potential. There is of course the addition of space tourism that is a market happening this year as well as many advanced satellites that are important to our culture that need protection, so a Space Force now only makes sense to meet the needs of a growing civilization. Yet people like Al Gore, and Michael Moore, and the greenie weenie Democrats truly do desire to turn off the minds of human beings with drug use, which is why they support the legalization of pot, and to have another music festival like a bunch of cannibals dancing around a rock in the mud praying to the gods to make it rain so that they can grow food. Today the god is no longer some Celtic tyrant, or Roman myth, but is the earth itself. But science says that the earth won’t be around much longer anyway. It’s only a matter of time before Yellowstone’s massive volcano erupts destroying much of North America, or something hits earth from space, or the sun grows to a size that eventually swallows our entire planet to a fiery cataclysm. The human race has a choice to survive and move into space to escape that fate, and we should take it. And we will need a Space Force to protect that advancement for the sake of our species. And I picked the red emblem as my vote for the patch that those new members of the military should wear while doing it.

Red Dead Redemption 2: A Western for a new generation

One thing is quite clear, Hollywood as a culture doesn’t know how to make westerns any more, which is a shame. Westerns have always been about what makes American culture work, so losing that ability to communicate western values has been missed. Disney has been best positioned to make westerns and I thought their two best attempts were quite good, The Lone Ranger in 2013 and Solo: A Star Wars Story in 2018 which was essentially a western set in space, but the company obviously has more progressive concerns on their mind and didn’t understand how to market those efforts because they were torn as a company as to whether any western should even be made. Ending America is a primary concern of progressives, so making stories about the birth of America is something that modern film studios just don’t like to do unless they are making fun of westerns. But that’s alright, because movies are on their way out anyway. Video games are becoming the new narrative device of choice and Rockstar Games is about to reveal their newest western, Red Dead Redemption 2 which is featured in the video seen below, and is yet the latest benchmark in storytelling through a video game. I have said often that the first Red Dead Redemption was one of the greatest games I’ve ever played, and is certainly one of the best westerns produced. But nearly a decade after the release of the first Red Dead Redemption this second game looks to be essentially a West World type of experience that will be the next great western for which a new generation will gain exposure.

The ambition of this game is incredible, and will go a long way to introducing the western back to audiences in a way that the genre has always deserved. In this age of Netflix and Amazon streaming a two-hour western just feels too short, people want and need at least 10 hours of content to really get into a story these days, so movies never really have time to get into a narrative experience. It’s just not the way that story telling is done any more. But even further than that, video games are the new dominate form of entertainment because it allows the consumer a chance to be a participant rather than just a consumer. And the problem with a real-life West World type of experience in an amusement park setting is the insurance liability of all the dangers you would encounter trying to duplicate something like that in real life. So a game like Red Dead Redemption 2 is the closest thing to a real experience that people can get, and it just so happens that Rockstar Games has picked a western for that platform.

Rockstar is the same company that makes the Grand Theft Auto games that I am not a fan of. But they do several things very well in them, and the best of what they do as a company ends up in their western games that come out every eight years or so. The amount of effort Rockstar has put into Red Dead Redemption 2 is just jaw dropping. When it is released it will set the new standard of what a video game should be. The previous benchmark holder was Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which came out last year for the Nintendo Switch and was an awesome experience. But it’s also in a fantasy setting whereas Red Dead Redemption 2 is all about the foundations of American society, which is actually very relevant to today.

The period of American history from the late 1870s to the late 1890s is one of my favorite periods. As we prepare as a civilization to enter the wild frontiers of space, there is a lot we can learn from this most open capitalist market that erupted during western expansion during this particular time. Western expansion happened so fast that governments hadn’t yet established themselves, and the race to acquire land away from the French, the British and the Spanish was incredible, so putting bodies on the frontier was the primary concern of government as opposed to ruling over their citizens. That left human need and desire open and raw leaving justice to be truly determined by the gun. It was during westward expansion that the Second Amendment was truly tested for the first time and it proved that people could govern themselves while cut off from Washington D.C. due to the vast distances involved only recently connected by railroads.

The gambling, the prostitutes and the gunslingers were obviously the default modes of human operation when given unlimited amounts of freedom to behave without the restrictions of too much law and regulation. As primal as those desires were they do provide an insight into the kind of world that humans make for themselves when government is so limited that it’s not a daily concern for the people. Modern day Las Vegas can be viewed as the most modern rendition of that early western idea of limited government and lots of personal freedom, but the tradition was started during the many frontier towns that rose up in that delicate period after the Civil War and disintegrated by the time the new century was ushered in.

Hollywood built itself on westerns taking this rough period of personal freedom and establishing values upon them for which to instruct our society what America was and strived to be. The westerns made by Hollywood may not have been very realistic, but they were about what we all wanted to be. The Disney Company made its bread and butter off westerns like Davy Crockett and Zorro, before they allowed themselves to fall into more of a progressive company trying to undo those values as opposed to learning about them and communicating to a new generation. What Rockstar Games has done with Red Dead Redemption 2 is settle for the more realistic version of life on the western frontiers. The focus is on personal choice, to be a villain or a hero, many of the decisions are driven by the human necessity for survival and that is an important distinction. If we are to understand ourselves today, as a species about to colonize space, then we need to understand ourselves as a society of people stripped of government rules and to witness how we behave when choices are truly free. Do you shoot someone in the head just because you can and steal all his possessions or do you make a friend out of them so that you can have an alley later on to draw from? These are the choices of a free society and are at the heart of our Bill of Rights, so actively participating in a world where those ideas are openly at play is very useful.

When talking about westerns we ultimately these days think about the plight of the Indians. As I have said often, Indians were part of declining cultures holding onto their past while the gunslingers and gold prospectors were part of a growing culture that was rapidly expanding. If it wasn’t the Americans who settled the west it would have been the Spanish or English who were racing against us to settle all that newly discovered land from a European perspective. It is popular progressively to think of the Indians as a superior culture only from the perspective of the progressive nature lovers. In reality, the Indians were part of cities that rose and fell in North America and throughout Mexico and had to resort back to the status of hunters and gatherers. To view the Indians as villains as they were often thought of in early Hollywood westerns is the subconscious reaction to this social failure on their part. While they were chucking rocks and shooting arrows while worshiping crazy nature gods the American frontiersmen were using guns, building wagons and using printed Bibles to advance their culture over the savages who were gross reminders of where humans came from—not the optimistic visions of where they were going.

For Red Dead Redemption 2 to pick this era as the backdrop of such a participatory environment it is exciting that so many people will gain exposure to such a great western as told by the fairly new venue of video game play. The ability to play in that world and learn about the era and the values is something that I think is truly beneficial to modern society. As Hollywood has lost its ability to tell a two-hour story that would entertain people with a mix of values and thrills, the video game industry has taken over and is now the king setting the benchmarks for the future. And nothing will have done that better up to this point than Red Dead Redemption 2. It is truly a modern miracle lovingly put together to capture a period of time that is very important to the human species and allow people to learn what it truly means to live free and how to make choices when the gun is all that stands between justice and villainy.

Peer Pressure Won’t Save the Political Left: Insight into how racism is used to distort reality

I don’t get a lot of comments and it’s certainly not for a lack of readership, most of the readers here are reserved to a kind of voyeurism which validates their own thought processes. And those who are against me don’t like that I engage people directly, and that I will often do so for years—so they don’t often comment. It’s not good to pick a fight with a guy like me because I can out write, out think and through sheer will, outlast just about anybody. There may be people out there somewhere who are just as stubborn as I am, but I’ve never met them. I reserve the right that they may exist, but they have yet to show themselves. Likely if they are there they are residing on top of a mountain somewhere and have decided to just watch sun sets everyday instead of doing what I do. But the comment below is from a long-time voyeur of sorts who decided they couldn’t deal with my comments on the recent white on black shooting in Clearwater, Florida centering on a “stand your ground” case. So before picking the comment apart, like this person knew I would, lets see what they said:

I’ve been following your blog for quite some time now and aside from your political ramblings I’ve found your other topics to be either laughable at best or appalling. This entry falls into the latter. Both men in this case acted childishly. That much I can agree on with you. Where I differ begins with the title. I think you couldve gone a different route to prove your point but instead opted to become part of the problem and not the solution. To say that blacks fundamentally are targeted because they don’t follow rules is both silly and absurd. To label someone a thug because they didn’t abide by the rules of the handicap parking space is just as outlandish as saying you, yourself, are a thug for speeding, jay walking, littering, etc…the list goes on. It has nothing to do with the skin color of a person as to be determined a thug by your own admission. So to say that blacks must assimilate if they do not want to be staring down the barrel of a gun is frankly stupidity. I would challenge that you wouldve even bothered to write on this subject had it been a white on white crime and before you go and try to pick my comment apart for entertainment/material for a future blog post. I have read other post made by you suggesting a racial bias on your part. I fail to see how you call yourself a leader and a international business man yet, can’t see the injustices that are spouted by you on a daily basis. Honestly, I’m surprised you even have a job in the public sector for behaving in a manner that I’m sure would make your employers shudder if they were to read this site. Good day sir!

The nature of this little comment in many aspects are completely dedicated to peer pressure, the reference in the first sentence to diminish the content is an attempt to make me feel self-conscious about the judgment of a larger tapestry of society—that my work here is “laughable,” and “appalling” as if such judgements might make me run for the security of a social blanket of approval. Then there is some commentary that is rather thoughtful about their opinion on the nature of black gun violence. But the last third of the comment is dedicated to attacks designed to put me on the defensive, such as suggesting that if the dead person had been white, I wouldn’t have even written about it. Then there is the veiled threat of social superiority toward my ability to make a living, as if to say that because I have a thought that is not one they agree with that I should not even be allowed to make a living. So it is worth doing to understand how such people like this are functioning in the world and why they think the things they do.

As any reader here knows I pick everything apart and white people have been the brunt of most of my wrath. Just ask James Comey, Lois Lerner, Hillary Clinton or that skanky prostitute in the Lee Wong incident locally. They were all white people and yet I never considered their skin color when criticizing their detriment to our society. Yet the critic of this published comment assumes that because a person is black, that they shouldn’t be held to any kind of standard otherwise its racism. If a black person does something wrong, such as breaking the laws of our society we are supposed to look the other way because of some sin committed long ago when slaves were brought from Africa to North America and that forever we owe something to people of color because of this heinous act. Well, I wasn’t there to commit those evils and just because I’m white I am not connected to my ancestors. If my grandfather got drunk and slept with crazy bar whores and slapped around women I am not connected to this sin. I am my own person and am not attached through ancestry to any sins of any past. And the same holds true for blacks. They aren’t owed something for what their ancestors went through. They are to be judged on what they do and say in the here and now. That is the way of things.

But even more alarming is this notion that a person’s employment should be attacked if they have opinions that drift from the media-controlled culture of today’s liberalism—that boycotts and marches with a wink toward potential violence should be utilized to keep dissenting opinions locked up away from others to see. That is after all what’s going on with Alex Jones and Google owned YouTube. So let me establish some advice to this commenter and to other reading this who might need some ground to stand on in a confusing world sometimes—confusing only because people like this are always trying to make things murky. Every person should strive to make themselves the best at something out of all others in the world. If you are the best at what you do you are always in demand. No matter what political opinions you might have—people will want to pay you for the things you can do that others can’t. I have many things that I am the best there is at and that is very valuable to the world of commerce. Now the world is a big place and there are a lot of people in it, so I understand what kind of statement that is, but I have worked harder than others for many years to develop those aspects of myself so I do enjoy the fruits of those endeavors.

The assumption from this commenter is that jobs are handed out as favors to people and that if someone misbehaves, that the job can be taken away. Or that if an angry mob of insurgents hell-bent on socialist democracy protest in the streets that a person like me might lose their ability to make a living. That is the threat that is occurring quite often these days, where CEOs must step down to avoid controversy, or men are losing their entire careers over the #metoo movement, and so on. I would propose that if such people are losing their livelihoods they weren’t very valuable to begin with and people wanting to take them down politically only needed an excuse, which radical protestors gave them. But if you are truly valuable, such measures will never work.

As to the nature of who reads here, I’m not writing these articles in the vacuum of space. I get many hundreds of readers every day and they come from all demographic backgrounds all over the world. People I deal with professionally obviously read my content, everyone does. Anyone who Googles “Rich Hoffman” runs across my many millions and millions of published words and knows my thoughts on things. But if they want access to those things I do better than anybody else in the world—the entire world—then they put up with it. However, and I do deal with hundreds if not thousands of people every week, most people agree with me on most things. They are just afraid to say so because they fear a social stigma. And that is what people like this really fear. They hope that they can keep people’s opinions hidden away while a more progressive society takes over and rules us all. But when people have an outlet, like I provide, then all that intention falls apart, and people choose freedom, logic, and order over anarchy, chaos and progressivism. And you can’t censor those who are living beyond the controls of peer pressure.

The FBI is Tampering with the 2018 Election Already: Christopher Collins is just the latest target

I’m going to go ahead and call bologna on the arrest of Republican House member Christopher Collins for insider trading charges and lying to the FBI. This is exactly why the problem with the FBI and the Clinton campaign is such a crucial one. Obviously, just a few months ahead of the November election Democrats are eyeing the Republican seat of Collins and they decided to make a criminal case move against him to put him on his heels with no time to defend his seat before the election. It’s really the same kind of strategy that is being used against Donald Trump. Collins himself was a member of the Trump transition team so the target is obvious. The FBI is using its power again to attempt to meddle in the election of 2018 and they are targeting Trump supporters in an attempt to change the nature of the election in November. This arrest has absolutely nothing to do with “insider trading.” If it did the Clinton team from two years ago would have received the death penalty. Instead, this is purely about politics and meddling in an election to attempt to diminish the number of House seats that Republicans control. Here is how Fox News reported the issue.

New York Republican Rep. Christopher Collins has been indicted on insider trading charges, federal prosecutors announced Wednesday.

“These charges are a reminder that this is a land of laws and that everyone stands before the bar of justice,” Geoffrey Berman, an attorney for the U.S. Southern District of New York, said during a press conference on Wednesday.

The indictment also names the congressman’s son, Cameron Collins, and Stephen Zarsky, the father of his son’s fiancée. The fraud counts relate to securities of an Australian biotechnology company called Innate Immunotherapeutics, where the 68-year-old congressman served on the board.

“Christopher Collins, the defendent, violated the duties he owed to Innate by passing material; nonpublic information regarding the Drug Trial results to his son, Cameron Collins, the defendent, so that [his son] could use that information to make timely trades in Innate stock and tip others,” the indictment states. “Cameron Collins traded on the inside information and passed it to Stephen Zarsky.”

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/08/08/new-york-rep-christopher-collins-indicted-on-insider-trading-charges.html

Such tough talk by Geoffrey Berman “these charges are a reminder that this is a land of laws and that everyone stands before the bar of justice.” Yet we have seen that the very FBI that arrested Collins, Flynn, and Manafort is the same FBI that destroyed evidence in the Hillary Clinton case and is currently protecting former President Obama’s involvement in the conspiracy of 2016 to meddle in the election of Donald Trump and then when caught to try to pin it all on some made up Russian story. Berman doesn’t care about a land of laws and that everyone should stand before a bar of justice. He is playing his part in the next conspiracy of 2018, of meddling in the next election in an attempt to remove enough Republicans from congress so that a possible fantasy of impeaching Donald Trump by a Democratic majority can take place fulfilling their original mission of altering an election by the people of the United States.

If I didn’t know otherwise I would like to believe Geoffrey Berman and the FBI, but until they use the same standard of law that is being applied to Donald Trump Jr., Michael Flynn, Paul Manafort, and now Christopher Collins I don’t believe anybody collecting a federal paycheck. I think the system is so rotten that not a damn one of them can be believed, and that sentiment will remain with me until real justice is applied to the FBI for their role in trying to destroy the Trump administration before it ever got started.

It is not lost that Google and Facebook are attempting to put a lid on the populist movement ahead of the November elections by taking down Alex Jones, hoping that fewer voters will have access to him—as a way to control the narrative using their market share to alter opinion. To add to the madness 190 votes materialized out of Franklin County Ohio to give Danny O’Conner just a little bit more votes to close the 1,564 vote gap between the GOP leader Troy Balderson. Even though there are still thousands of votes that still need to be counted it is unlikely that all of them will go to Danny O’Conner or that enough will go to him to overtake that 1,500-vote lead. But you wouldn’t know that by the news stories in USA Today and other liberal outlets. You’d think that the Democrats are climbing into position to launch their “blue wave.” The truth is that 90% percent of the Democrats voted in that election that also voted in 2016, which is mysteriously high for an August midterm election, and they still couldn’t unseat Balderson’s GOP in the 12th District in Ohio. Many GOP voters stayed home, as turnout was low, yet the Democrats still fell short, that is the story. It won’t even be close in November when turnout will be much higher. Democrats look like they reached their peak while the GOP has a lot of room to grow in that next election turnout.

The offensive movements are occurring rapidly on all fronts, from the FBI, to the media, to actual boots on the ground instigating voter tampering. And the Democrats are still losing. So they are getting desperate, they are arresting more Trump supporters to hurt voter turnout in November, in an attempt to divide the GOP. The Robert Mueller investigation is heating up to try to torpedo Trump with an October surprise that will go nowhere—all funded by the American taxpayer. And Google along with Facebook is trying to keep voters separated from Alex Jones ahead of the election. While they control their media platforms they forget that Jones is on the radio syndicated all over the nation. People don’t need anything from Google to hear Alex Jones. They are just hurting themselves, but they seem willing to go all in on this election and as big as they are, they aren’t too big to fail. By siding with Democrats Google and Facebook look to have sealed their fate for the future. They will be replaced with something else.

On a personal level I think we are all-seeing an increase in desperation by the activists of the left, they are getting more violent, they are starting to lash out more often in various ways because they see the writing on the wall. I have to remind people who this is precisely why we will now and always need a strong Second Amendment. Not that we should ever advocate shooting people, but when people lose their minds due to a failed political ideology that is leaving the field of debate, it is very possible that an increase in lone killers—who are almost always Democrats—will erupt across our society distraught that society is moving on without them. When that happens, there is nothing the local police and federal government can do about the problem. They are complicit as they are in helping create that environment, so they sure as hell can’t help fix it. Only a nice personal arsenal of firearms in the home and on your person can do that. We are dealing with really terrible bad guys here, and the FBI can count themselves among those ranks until they change their reputation through real law and order, not made up crap like they are trying to impose on Christopher Collins. And when dealing with bad, vile, people, we are in a time when we must keep our guns close and diplomacy a tabletop away. Because things could get really bad when these losers figure out that they have no other recourse but violence to preserve their existence. And when they do, we must be ready to deal with them. They will lie, they will cheat, and they will kill and destroy people’s lives—Christopher Collins is only the latest.

The End of the Democratic Party is Near: After the elections of August 8th 2018, a “red wave” is coming

No matter how you slice it, the election of Troy Balderson to the 12 district House seat was a big deal. By looking at a map of the various counties, a few for which downtown Columbus is a big part of, it is obvious that liberals have contaminated the metropolitan area, but up in Delaware County, the truth is much easier to see. Republicans are more than happy to vote for Trump backed candidates and only a very small minority of densely packed liberals are what kept the Democrat Danny O’Connor at a neck and neck race throughout the August 7th 2018 election. There are two forces that were hoping for Balderson to lose even if publicly they were saying they supported him, the Kasich members of the divided GOP and the liberals from the political left who were hoping that the young Danny O’Connor would tweak out a win and send hope into the Democrats ahead of the November mid-terms. It was only the previous Sunday that John Kasich was on television essentially hoping for a Balderson defeat because Donald Trump came to Delaware County to help push the GOP candidate over the top. That 12th District used to be Kasich’s years ago and in television ads O’Connor made many comparisons to the Ohio governor that were accurate. That’s because Kasich is not a conservative, but only in name only. And even with his attempts to divide the GOP away from Trump, the President still lent his support to Balderson to stretch out a victory.

Most of the Ohio race was a show, a divided GOP, a desperate Democratic Party with no ideas and only Trump derangement syndrome to fuel their voter turnout, much of it was early voting that mysteriously seems to always favor Democrats. Is there tampering, probably, but in the end, Republicans showed up in the suburbs of Columbus to defend their turf in an August election and it put a victory on the map for Trump backed candidates going into November. It was a close race only because it was an August election. November will bring out more from the GOP while the same old losers who voted for O’Connor will show up to a diminished result. There is not going to be a “blue wave” of Democrats that are going to retake the House and Senate in Washington D.C.

Donald Trump remains the premier “get out the vote” energizer politician in the country and the Democrats have nobody like him. In spite of what Frank Luntz or any other GOP pollster thinks in the traditional way at looking at election result data, a one-point victory is a one-point victory, especially when that turnout for the Democrats is largely regulated to the inner cities. That is not a growing voting base. In the other counties that surrounded Columbus that made up the 12th District it is all red, just as much of the country is. Where are all these blue votes going to come from that people on the other side hope to see? They aren’t there.

John Kasich said a lot on his ABC ‘This Week’ interview by coming out immediately and talking about how GOP women he knew weren’t going to vote for Trump in the Tuesday election. He insisted that women thought that Trump was bad for the party and that the GOP was divided because of it. Well, he was and continues to be wrong. GOP women might tell the governor things to make him happy, but when they are pulling the lever in the election booth, it’s for Trump. It’s kind of like a husband asking his wife why she’s looking at another man, and she says something like, I thought I recognized him from somewhere. The woman says this so not to hurt her husband’s feelings because she’s really thinking about more horizontal ideas with that other man, because her husband is boring. GOP women love Donald Trump because he’s confident, disruptive, and powerful. He is the rebel with a cause, and the instinct to like Trump is pure biology and logic. Nobody wants to hurt John Kasich’s feelings because he has turned into a Democrat. Most women especially in public talk and sympathize with Democrats, so its easy for Kasich to mistake what they tell him. But in their heart they crave the rebel with a cause they can believe in, and they will show up 100% of the time to vote for the president’s picks.

Much of what has been said by Democrats and people who are Democrats but wear the name of Republican next to they’re name—like John Kasich have been simply evoking their hopeful utterances. Their opinions about Trump are out of jealousy, not factual information so their statements end up corrupted by desire instead of reality. The hope that a strong showing by O’Connor means that there is a “blue wave” coming is only the cries of an inferior team grasping at their last breath as a major political party. What is going to happen after November’s elections and the GOP holds the House and Senate? What will their storyline be then? Having nothing as a platform and not being able to outwork Donald Trump, what do the Democrats have to show dominance as a party about to take over Capital Hill? They have nothing but some dying networks like CNN, MSNBC and some old liberal newspapers. They have tech companies like Facebook, Google and YouTube that are now so desperate that they are taking down people like Alex Jones as a means to stall out the populist movement ahead of the elections. If they weren’t worried about the populist message, they wouldn’t be resorting to censorship. These are not the methods of a winning party. When the opposition starts cheating, and trying to manipulate the facts—when they try to arrest members of the President’s election team and his immediate family to scare him away from a re-election by using the tools of the Deep State to destroy all opposition it is because they know they can’t win a direct election fight.

If Democrats thought they could win in November they wouldn’t be attacking people and threatening violence as they are now. They are calling for violence and harassment of GOP members because they know they are losing and have nothing to offer as a political platform. All they have is the inner cities, they cannot make any political movement in the suburbs and the proof was in the results of a weak election turnout in an August election in Ohio. It was their best chance to take a seat, but they lost anyway and nothing about that shows strength for a “blue wave.” Rather, it is the opposite that they will be seeing. When people ask me what I think will happen in the November elections I think it will be the end of the Democratic Party, not a “blue wave.” I’ve been talking about this for a long time, that the Democrats as a party will come to an end. Well, I think this is how it will happen. Once these November elections happen and Republicans hold most of their seats, perhaps even gaining some, there will be nowhere to go and no hope to be obtained for the future. The Democrats will be finished as a party and their vast corruption cases that have been suppressed for years will suddenly overflow the news, because people know a loser when they see them and once the potential for power is lost, the boot lickers will sing, and the party will never survive. And that’s very easy to see at this point.

Blacks need to Learn to Follow the Law if they Want Fairness: Markeis McGlockton made a sad mistake but the fault is not “Stand Your Ground”

As a defender of the “stand your ground” laws that many states in America have, I have to say something about Michael Drejka who shot Markeis McGlockton at a convenient store. If you watch the video of the incident, McGlockton saw Drejka talking to his wife in a car parked in a handicapped parking spot and without much provocation at all, shoved the guy so hard it put him on the ground. Then Drejka did something really stupid, he pulled out a gun and shot McGlockton in the chest, killing him. Both acts were stupid, McGlockton should have known that this isn’t a jungle setting and that you can’t just go around pushing people around because you are the biggest animal in an attempt to protect your “mate.” Drejka should have pushed McGlockton back and fought him hand to hand instead of just doing the easy thing and just shooting the bigger man dead.

That’s not all that’s wrong with this scene, McGlockton should have never just parked recklessly in the handicapped zone. Doing so showed tremendous disrespect for the law. But then Drejka should have not pressed the issue as far as he did with McGlockton’s wife. Maybe he should have said to her that she should not have parked there and left it alone. Obviously both men involved in this incident were making power moves over the other, and that led to a conflict—which could have easily been avoided. The fault is not the NRA’s or the Florida “Stand Your Ground” law that gave Drejka the legal right to open fire because McGlockton created a situation of imminent threat as perceived by the smaller man Drejka. McGlockton should have never parked in the handicapped zone and Drejka should have minded his own business. The store located in a run-down suburb of Clearwater, Florida wasn’t going to dramatically improve by enforcing a handicapped parking violation. It could be argued that if someone wanted to make the neighborhood better that it starts with little things. But shooting a man dead in front of his kids doesn’t solve any problems, especially when he wasn’t armed with anything except for a bigger body.

There was plenty of blame to go around over the incident. Up until this moment I didn’t mention that McGlockton was a black man, because it shouldn’t matter. But now that blacks have taken to the streets in an effort to make it an issue of racism, it changes things considerably. While it’s terribly sad that the three kids involved in the incident lost their father for really something stupid, it was their disregard for the law in the first place that ignited the incident. McGlockton was teaching his kids that they could do anything they want wherever they went and if anybody challenged them, then they could just kick the ass of whoever was involved. That travesty started when McGlockton parked his car and went into the store to get some snacks for his family. His resolution for resolving a conflict was violence. He didn’t try to talk to Drejka or provide a reason for what was happening, he just resorted to brute force to intimidate Drejka into submission. If anyone is concerned about racism and the reason that law biding white people are afraid of law breaking black people, this incident is a perfect example. If blacks want to be treated fairly, they need to assimilate into a law biding culture. But if they are parking in handicapped parking places to show a disregard for the rules of white people, and when challenged want to pick a fight, then there will continue to be animosity between the two sides.

If it would have been me I would have never even thought to pull a gun on McGlockton for just a silly push. If Drejka wanted to be a tough guy, which he obviously did, he should have fought McGlockton man to man without using a gun in any way. The situation clearly didn’t call for deadly force. If Drejka was intent to intrude on another family’s business, he should have had the guts to fight McGlockton directly. The two men might have lost some teeth and had some broken bones, but they’d all be alive today and there would be a lot less trouble. While advocates of peace would say that no conflict should have occurred, sometimes an ass kicking is needed and it looks like McGlockton had one coming, just because he was obviously used to using his big body and his skin color as leverage in society to push people around.

But this was not an example of why Florida has a “Stand Your Ground” law. The gun should have never been pulled from Drejka’s pocket. Stand your ground laws are for situations much less obvious, such as someone breaking into your home. Or when an attacker is presenting deadly force as a direct threat to you such as using a knife, a chair, or a gun themselves. Not an unarmed man just threatening physical violence. Even after pulling the gun, McGlockton took a step back—and that’s when Drejka should have put the gun away and brought down the tempers of the incident. Instead he pulled the trigger showing terrible judgment. Such a handling of a gun is a terrible use of the responsibility of carrying one. It was just stupid in every way you can look at it.

However, Stand Your Ground is needed, because there are often thugs running around like McGlockton who do think to use weapons to rob, steal, and intimidate innocent people and they need to know that there is a chance that someone will pull a gun on them and shoot them dead. I say that McGlockton was a thug because he fundamentally didn’t care about the rules of the handicapped zone. If he’s not going to observe that simple little law whose to say that he would obey other laws created by white society—in his view—and sought to use force to push the limits of anything he could get away with. With such people police officers have little means to enforce a law that all members of society will observe so at that point people like carrying weapons around as civilians are really our only means of enforcement. Even though there is a desire to use racism to punish Drejka for such a poor use of a firearm, the sheriff knows that if not for such gun owners, that society in his community would break down to every thug walking around seeking to dominate others with sheer intimidation.

Stand your Ground laws should be present in every state and community because it is essential to the preservation of private property, individual rights and the basics of the rule of law. Critics will say that we are not living in the Wild, Wild West and we should not be giving civilians guns to walk around in public with. But, we aren’t living in the jungle either where primates fight each other over the mating rights of a female, and so long as we have sectors of society who do think we live by the laws of the jungle, we will always have a need to use deadly force to put down dangerous attackers who threaten the basic responsibilities of a civilized society. Parking in a handicapped zone was an open disrespect for a basic law, and it started a fight that was handled poorly. But the first mistake happened when McGlockton parked in the wrong place and when someone questioned him, he resorted to violence. He shouldn’t have died over it, but the original fault was completely his.
