Donald Trump Reminds me of the Great Poker player Doyle Brunson: Give those Mariachi performers at the White House a $1 tip

If I were Donald Trump listening to the Mariachi protestors outside the White House all night attempting to keep the First Family awake, I’d walk out onto the lawn to the fence and throw a $1 bill into the hat of one of the performers. Then I’d go back inside and let the losers wear themselves out. Trump has the high ground in this fight and he can easily use it to defeat any panic driven protests from the political left. As much as a Mariachi band sounds like a vacation when you hear the music if it is taken as a cultural reference to a Marxist society south of the border, it’s a pretty pathetic protest that will turn off many voters ahead of the November mid-terms. To really add salt to the water, a $1 tip would take the air out of their ruckus. That is what those bands are all about, you can hear them in just about any restaurant in Mexico, they even play in the lines at border crossings seeking money thrown into their hats like beggars in the streets. If that is the best that the political left has, its pretty pathetic. They will wear themselves out quickly and let them.

But the event did bring to my mind the central tenet to the whole Russia issue, that of whether Trump should have chastised Putin in front of his face to make all the corrupt American intelligence directors happy covering up their own crimes, or whether Trump should have played it cool as he had. What a lot of people don’t obviously know about Trump is that he is actually quite well read, and as a best-selling author in one of his books produced through Trump University, that school that most critics said didn’t exist, was that he has a top ten reading list for students to do their own homework. One of the books Trump mentions is The Art of War. Anyone who has read that book knows what Trump is doing. I can certainly see it, I carry The Art of War around with me everywhere I go. I have a pocket version of it that I keep with me at all times, so Trump’s strategies are obvious to me, and so is what he did with Putin and the American intelligence agencies who are trying to build up a case for impeachment.

However, to the protestors on the streets in front of the White House, they likely only read work from Karl Marx and nothing else—which is why they are liberals. They have no way of understanding a strategist like Trump where even misspoken words are part of the strategy to bait opponents into a direction you wish them to go. In Trump’s world, everything is a strategy including the Mariachi protestors. While they think they are doing something that will keep the president and his family awake at night in reality they are doing exactly what Trump wants and needs. Their noise can be drowned out easily within the White House. But the optics being broadcast across America are not to the advantage of the political left. Nobody wants a cheesy Mariachi band playing in their neighborhood streets. They’ll put up with illegal immigrants as long as they are somewhat hidden in poor neighborhoods, but if they think they can migrate into the suburbs and bring a Mariachi culture into the mainstream, they have another thing coming.

The real reason that Trump couldn’t put a stop to any tampering that Putin might be involved in is because America is doing the same thing in other countries and that must continue. The political leftists were trying to trap Trump into what their global aims were, and that was to put an end to what they call American imperialism, or otherwise the influence of western culture around the world. If Trump demanded that Russia stay out of trying to influence America than Trump would be forced to do the same and that is precisely what lefties want. They want to weaken the influence of American culture around the world, they want American movies to be weaker, they want American music weaker, they want everything that comes out of America weaker. However, they want to create the illusion that other cultures have irreversibly penetrated American culture changing it forever, which is why they are attempting to use the psychological assault of a Mariachi band outside the White House to drive home the point. But Trump is smart, he knows that the protesters are an extreme minority and that they will run out of gas rather quickly and that their efforts are pushing neutral voters into the Republican column. So give them a tip and let them sing!

Getting back to The Art of War, I think its one of the most important books on strategy that there has ever been written, and Donald Trump understands it keenly. That is why China will never beat him on a trade war—they know it and he knows it. He has the high ground, it is impossible for China to win. Only people who understand strategy would know why, so the ignorant people trying to make politics about the war of tariffs are at a loss because they do not understand that book on strategy composed so long ago by the Chinese themselves. To understand any dealings with oriental cultures, The Art of War is mandatory. Trump is much more intellectual than he lets on and that is because he has mastered fundamental elements of strategy that all winning individuals learn to utilize.

The Democrats and the Deep State which supports them have projected their own strategies and Donald Trump has exploited them quite brilliantly. One of the greatest poker players in the world is Doyle Brunson who has mastered the art of making his opponents underestimate his hands even when they know he’s doing it. They think he’s talking small talk and what he’s really doing is causing them to up their bets and to inspire them to fold at the wrong times with his easy Texas talk while at the table. Trump reminds me a lot of Doyle—he’s brilliant in making people underestimate their odds against him. The most important quotes in The Art of War are about making other people empty and filling yourself by their efforts, which is what Trump has been doing since 2015 on the political stage. These Mariachi protestors are emptying themselves in front of the White House, and they are filling Trump. People see what is happening, just as Trump needs American operatives to continue to spread western ideas around the world to wear away the socialists and communists who stand between peace and war, these protestors are reminding Trump supporters that Mexican culture is being rammed down their throats from illegal aliens and the optics make it look like they are attacking the White House. Beltway insiders chuckle at what they think is causing Trump to lose sleep. But that is because they don’t understand the strategy of the situation.

I thought about keeping this to myself so not to let the enemies know what Trump is doing. But from my vantage point Trump is fulfilling another important quote from The Art of War, beating an enemy before the war even starts. Trump has already won over these protestors just like Doyle knows he often has the best hand before the dealer ever puts down the “river” card. Great strategists often win before anybody is even thinking of victory and they do so without a lot of fanfare because just like in poker, the game needs “producers.” You have to let the little guys think they are winning sometimes to fill the pot. Trump gives his opponents little victories here and there just like Doyle does in poker to convince them to fill the pot for the real betting. Trump is happy to let the protestors empty themselves and to fill the political pot with lots of talk radio discussion and cable news coverage because it fulfils the requirements of victory. And for that, we should all give those idiots a $1 tip. Because they are emptying themselves and filling us all up, and that is the brilliance of Donald Trump.

The Brillance of Donald Trump’s Summit with Putin: Democrats and Rino Republicans have lost all claims on sanity

Ahead of the summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Finland Democrats in America were chewing away their fingernails with worry. Some of the things they said about Trump were hilariously foolish, as if to assume that the President would be outmaneuvered by President Putin at every juncture—to sustain their own beliefs. Such as the truly insulting comments that during this summit that Putin might pull out a map of Ukraine and that Trump wouldn’t know what he was looking at, as if to insinuate that the President of the United States wasn’t smart enough to read a map. Of course as the day’s events in Helsinki evolved, Trump was magnificent and his meeting with Putin went well. As a Trump supporter I wouldn’t have expected anything less. But what continues to be fascinating is this Democratic insistence that they represent some superior intellect and that they have a monopoly on intellectual aptitude citing that Donald Trump is just another dumb Republican to fulfil their own notions of political superiority that is completely made up. I have met Donald Trump several times and read all his bestselling books—he can handle anything at any level. Vladimir Putin is not superior in any way to Donald Trump. But Trump is kind enough to bring in Putin to help solve some of the big problems in the world, like keeping North Korea on track to disarmament and in taking away the leverage of Syria in the gradually collapsing economy of Iran. There were lots of reasons to have this summit with Putin, and its good to see a president with real leadership for a change. But the good results of the day were certainly not a surprise to me.

Democrats have this perpetual problem, they have this ridiculous belief that if nobody witnesses a tree falling in the woods that it didn’t fall. They believe, and they get this from the philosophy of Immanuel Kant and his predecessors, that humans must witness something in order for it to have happened. They insist on such things while at the same time citing that faith in government must rest on foundations not rooted in reality—that blind trust must be given to the political elite of any culture. And to support these neurotic claims Democrats must have designated villains to play against, such as Vladimir Putin, Kim Jong-un, the Republican Party, the rich—just pick an opposition and you will see that Democrats use those elements to sell their dystopian vision for the world.

The genius of Donald Trump is that he not only understands how to solve some of the most complex issues on planet earth among many different cultures, but he knows how to utterly destroy the Democrats at the same time. Everyone should be happy to have Donald Trump as president of the United States at this very particular time in history. I would say that he is the best of the best and history will remember him that way. For people who understand the game of Poker or Chess, Trump is a master of playing the right cards at the right time and getting the people around him to do what he needs them to do when he needs them to do it. And Trump isn’t doing any of this for malicious ends. It’s doing it all for the name of good—good for everyone.

To assume that Trump is a stumbling idiot is a play from a playbook that has long been irrelevant, it’s not going to work for Democrats this time. We don’t have a Mitt Romney or a George Bush for president who would allow Democrats to build up this false image of Republican leadership. In a lot of ways the Republican policy on playing the high ground against Democrats has been ineffective. In a world that plays games, Republicans always needed to learn to play the games more viciously than everyone else, because they have allowed Democrats to project an image of superiority when reality has been far from it. When a tree falls in the forest, it falls whether anybody hears it or not. Trump is the Republican answer to the long needed public image that Republicans have always been in need of.

Regarding the Democrats, to exist they must have a villain to oppose them otherwise their philosophy of emotion is worthless. Without the world being terrified about a Vladimir Putin that is some master James Bond type of villainous spy, the most timid of our populations won’t be inclined to flock to the safety of the herd which is the Democratic Party. The master strategy of Donald Trump and what he is doing right now is something I have been trying to inspire in Republicans all of my adult life, and it took someone like him to finally do it. Much of what Trump is doing is genius because he knows what I’m saying to you now dear reader, the way to undo liberalism around the world in whatever form it takes, the socialism of Europe, the communists of China, the Democrats of North America, the Marxists of Canada and Central America is to take away the villains of the world and bring them all on the same side of things so that real discussions toward peace can take place. Trump is giving everyone a seat at the table because he is confident in himself not to be taken advantage of, and once that is clear to everyone real trust can be established.

The race of our day is to truly make peace around the entire planet, and the fear that Democrats have is that once that happens, nobody will want to join their ranks, because there will be no villains to flee from. Trump is showing the world that there really are no bullies in the world, and the real challenge that Democrats have is that once people realize it, they will lose all their power. Fear is really all that Democrats have to inspire anybody to join them. They have managed to create the impression that it is they who validate value in the world, that if they don’t accept that the tree fell in the forest, that it didn’t, but reality says otherwise, and Trump is exposing reality moment by moment day by day and his genius is that he knows how to sell reality in a way that people can understand. Without that ability a lot of these miracle foreign policy visits that he has been doing just wouldn’t happen.

Watching that press conference between Trump and Putin was a thing of wonder. Trump did not allow the fake FBI story to continue to use Russia as a bad guy. He robbed them of it. The FBI has been caught trying to make Putin into the ultimate bad guy when in reality just like Kim Jong-un, he’s a small player in the world. When Russia says they did not interfere with the American elections why on earth would we believe Bob Mueller’s prosecution of some Russian agents who will never show up to provide any testimony when we watched Peter Strzok lie to our faces on national television during his testimony last week? Sure, Putin may be lying and as a former KGB agent I’m sure he has at some point lied to people. I’m sure he has even killed many people in his climb and maintenance of power. But the fact remains what we know, the FBI did lie, and they did meddle in an American election, and they did try to build a case to impeach an American president. Those are things we know, and Trump did a great thing in not playing into the story that Democrats were trying to build, that everyone is smarter than Trump and that only Democrats can control a narrative. Wrong. For a change there is a Republican who is truly in charge, and he’s smart, aggressive and a far better messaging master. And that is the worst-case scenario for Democrats. I’m very proud of President Trump for his meeting with Putin. Very classy and very strategic.

Travis Pastrana’s Great Gift to America: Spitting in the eye of death to save humanity from itself

Many wonder what it is that makes America great and has for such a long time, and why its important to philosophies the precise ingredients and then to promote that recipe to people all over the world. Nothing quite captured best of what America produces than the very well-done History Channel coverage of Travis Pastrana’s motorcycle jumps in Las Vegas climaxing with the famous Caesar’s Palace jump over the fountains there—completing and beating three of Evel Knieval’s most spectacular stunts all in the same evening. The stunts were the jumping over 52 crushed cars, then over 16 Greyhound busses followed by a climax of jumping the Caesar’s Palace fountains of which Pastrana made them all look easy. Pastrana is a veteran of the X Games so he has taken a lot of this daredevil work and spent his life so far perfecting these kinds of stunts. That certainly didn’t take away the danger but I had quite a lot of fun watching Pastrana drive through downtown Las Vegas under police escort popping wheelies and high fiving people walking down the street on his way to that final jump at Caesar’s Palace. Pastrana was so loose and having so much fun that it was infectious and it gave us all a glimpse into the kind of unique people who America produces and how often the best and brightest of us emerge under the treasures found off the paved roads in life defying death and in doing so for the opportunity to become rich in the process.

I usually tell stories about my life to show the readers here how my relevant background is applicable to whatever topic we are discussing. What many find hard to believe is that I can talk about so many things, because I have in fact had a very interesting life and I’m far from done. But one of the most common questions I get from people is that they wonder how I am alive and could have possibly done so much at such a young age. Specifically, to this story of Travis Pastana I understand him quite well. It seems like a long time ago, but it wasn’t that much so but I was a member of the World Stunt Association because more than anything at the time I either wanted to be a stunt man or I wanted to be a film director. My entry way into the movie business was obvious because I was the kind of guy who had no problem taking chances so being a stunt man looked like it was going to end up being my career path forward. However for me I was doing all this at the front of the digital revolution meaning that film studios were going to CGI stunts instead of traditional work meaning they didn’t need a lot of new drivers to crash cars or jump off tall buildings. Many of my best friends during the 2000 years while George Bush was in office were stunt guys who were trying to get me into the business. What ended up happening was that my bullwhip work gave me a few opportunities to work in film but even that was becoming digitized as I did a firewhip stunt for Real D3D that excited a lot of people but ended up becoming a motion capture project for CGI animators.

I didn’t care so much because around the same time I started to get offers to do business management which I found to be just as risky. I didn’t see much difference in taking big risks for a company that wanted to hire me to accomplish some death-defying task or a movie company that wanted to hire me to crash a car, choreograph a fist fight, or jump out of a window when the director said “action.!” I was always a daredevil type. One of my first books that I ever read was a biography on Evel Knieval whom I absolutely adored. I would say that if I had a really powerful role model, it was Evel Knieval. Before there were ever X Games and BMX racing that was mainstream I was the kid who would jump anything with a bicycle. I’d jump out of any tree, climb any wall and fight any fight because I was bound and determined to be a stuntman when I grew up and I knew I needed to become comfortable with defying death, so I got really good at it. What was different for me however was that I was a pretty smart kid and I had a lot of other things that I was good at too. So to make a long story short, when it became obvious that to be a stuntman meant that I was going to have to move to Los Angeles and drag my family there with me, I decided to get into business management and to take my risks for companies that wanted to hire me with the same enthusiasm for risk taking but never expecting failure.

That is what makes stunt shows like the one Travis Pastrana did so magical. Audiences become very schizophrenic, they want to see a big crash to remind them how dangerous everything is but the best parts of themselves which reside very deep in the human subconscious wants to see success so that they can push themselves into risk management in their own lives. The great hope that most people have is that during their lives they will overcome the natural fears passed down to human beings for their own procreation. For instance, people are naturally fearful of falling, of loud noises and other things that might end their intellectual development into adulthood. Self-preservation is an internally driven reaction to dangerous emotions and they exist to keep us all safe. But for people who wish to become more than the animal powers of natural development, defying death and the fears of it are essential to that intellectual pursuit. Personally, defying death was like an obsession to step beyond the veils of human civilization—all the “ought not” fears that keep us all chained to civility for the sake of building human culture and the dynamic forces that stepping beyond those fears unleash in us as ways to advance civilization.

Risk taking is the unique intellectual ingredient that builds and pushes the many minds of a capitalist nation toward the aspects of experience which produce a Las Vegas skyline, the many minds that have leapt out of their comfort zones to bet everything on a dream, or to grind their way through many financial dangers to build a skyscraper. They are every bit the stunt people who Travis Pastrana was. I would say that it was just as courageous of the History Channel producers of that live broadcast to air on live television the Pastrana jump, because if something had gone wrong, their Car Week promotion would have been for nothing as they had produced several really expensive shows featuring how cars and speed had defined American culture in such a unique way. Hiring a professional stunt man like Travis Pastrana was a good bet of course, but things can and do go wrong. Those stunts that night had much better ramps and equipment than what Evel Knieval had back in his day. I was seven years old when Evel Knieval jumped the 14 busses at Kings Island, just five months after the disastrous attempt that nearly killed him in London. Seeing that as a young man it cemented in me forever the value of Evel Knieval and Kings Island as an amusement park, the need for humans to push beyond their fears so that they could advance civilization and arrive at a new place. That is why the world needs daredevils, and specifically why America steps into the world with a dominance of daredevil thinking, because in a capitalist society such risks have a tradeoff, fortune and glory for those who succeed in the chances they take while those who observe the feats see how it was done and can apply the stunt in some way to themselves.

Evel Knieval never intended to kill himself, but he was a person who enjoyed spitting in the eye of death because it was death that kept people from advancing, the fear of having a life ended by moving out of the safety of herd mentality. It was Knieval who showed what worked in stunts and what didn’t which launched an entire industry of motor sports and risk taking who were inspired by the death-defying antics of Evel Knieval. People like Travis Pastrana took what Evel Knieval had done and perfected it into an art form that filled Las Vegas with an optimism that was so wonderfully captured on the History Channel on live television. And it wasn’t the stunts themselves that were the stars of the show, but the ambiance of hope that came from the audience. Most people have a little daredevil in them but they never let it out for fear that they might get hurt or ultimately that something might kill them. But I can attest to this from personal experience. If you don’t let that daredevil out from time to time, something dies in all human beings and that is far worse. America is a land of daredevils in all types of careers, from stunt people like Travis Pastrana, to gamblers in Vegas hoping to hit it big, to business people who take huge chances every day which aren’t just dangerous but can destroy the lives of many people if something goes wrong. Those chances are worth taking and are captured in spirit every time a motorcycle jumper takes to the air to defy death by spitting in its face and landing on a ramp beyond the danger to unlock new potential in human intellect and the experience of being alive!

The Power of MAGA Hats: Kino Jimenez and the political left learned a hard lesson

There is nothing I hate more than a bully, so I was quite interested in the story of Kino Jimenez who as a 30-year-old liberal attacked a 16-year-old boy on the 4th of July wearing a Donald Trump MAGA hat in a Texas Whataburger restaurant at 2 AM. Good for the kids with the young man wearing the hat because they captured the attack on camera and posted the video for which there was a firestorm of anger against Jimenez. Within a few hours of the attack the video was spreading to Trump supporters who had figured out who the attacker was and posted an old address online. From there people went looking for Jimenez to beat the hell out of him only to discover that the posted address was only that of his brothers. Realizing that he was in danger Kino Jimenez shaved off his beard and hoped to lay low for a while, but police knew they had to do something so they arrested the assailant for theft and put him in jail, essentially for his own protection. What makes this one special is that it is showing unequivocally that people are starting to fight back and defend themselves from liberalism. The MAGA hats are the start of something, they have become synonymous with Trump supporters who want to do just that, Make America Great Again, and they are standing up to the very nature of liberalism which has corrupted our nation for decades to the impressions of bullies who make up that political philosophy. And that is a very new thing to see happening in American politics, where the right kind of people are finally fighting back.

https://www.ksat.com/news/internet-mob-hits-wrong-target-over-whataburger-maga-hat-video?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=snd&utm_content=ksat12

I’m not a supporter of mob violence so I’m not exactly cheering that a mob of internet revenge seekers essentially hunted down Kino Jimenez and forced the hand of the Universal City Police Department to arrest the guy before people beat the hell out of him. But I am an eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth kind of person. Or should I say and eye for a head, and a tooth for ripping out the heart of your enemy and eating it over his last moments of life kind of guy. That turn the other cheek stuff is for dope smoking hippies who follow a Buddhist idea of peace at any cost kind of thinking—which is not conducive to confronting evil and pushing it out of our lives. The only way to truly make America great again is to confront the evil that has been working against it and in this case, it is the fight over individual rights versus the old order of collective salvation.

People like Kino Jimenez who make up the liberal political parties because they are not personally tough people. They are drawn to the Democratic Party because they wish to hide in the safety of the herd. They use the violence of a mob to gang up on individuals who typically don’t stick together and to separate conservatives from others like them with constant harassment. The primary reason that the minority of progressives, socialists and Democrats have been able to make the gains against Constitutional management that they have is due to their gang like behavior. In this case Kino Jimenez didn’t need a gang, he was a big 30-year-old guy picking on a bunch of teenage kids. He felt the power of his party behind him to join the anti-Trump movement in harassing anybody wearing one of those MAGA hats—which is what he did.

The MAGA hats were a brilliant branding scheme created by the Trump campaign which unified many disjointed individuals under the flag of a conservative movement, which is new for the Republican Party. As people who typically support individual rights the greatest weakness of conservatives were that they didn’t tend to stick together on anything, so they were constantly at the mercy of the bullies of liberalism. Liberals have no choice but to stick together, that is the nature of their political party, group think and peer pressure. Democrats require the destruction of individualism in order to sustain themselves in every situation, so they have to be bullies in order to survive. They cannot stand on the merits of their own thinking, which is their weakness and has been from the beginning. When Trump came out with that hat as a candidate it served as a binder with the greater movement of conservatism standing together in defense of itself. The MAGA hats united individuals together in a way that no conservative movement had up to that time and now two years later with Trump now comfortably in the presidency the kids in that Whataburger restaurant were feeling patriotic on the 4th of July and wanted to wear their MAGA hat out to show their sentiments toward American celebration. I did the same, I wore my MAGA hat on the 4th of July as well, for many of the same reasons and it does turn the heads of liberals every time I do it. They know what it means, it’s all about individuals coming together to fight the incursions of group think which persists in liberalism.

That frightens people like Kino Jimenez so he lashed out at the young kid wearing the hat, but something happened that he didn’t expect. People came to the defense of the 16-year-old and hit the streets hunting the bully down until justice was served. The same kind of joined attack occurred at The Red Hen in rural Virginia when they kicked out Sarah Sanders from the Trump White House staff and denied her food service. Shortly a small mob of Trump supporters showed up to protest the restaurant which was not something any of the leftists involved planned to see happen. The political left is seeing something they never counted on, conservatives are fighting back, and they aren’t sure what to do about it.

This is what I have been saying for many years, several decades now. Conservatives essentially make up most of America. Liberalism is a very small portion of the American experience, yet they have been able to puff out their chests and appear to be much larger than they really are giving the illusion of superiority in many cases, and they were able to do that because conservatives didn’t stick together or show a desire to fight back when they needed to. For all the talk and fear that came out of the Tea Party movement, the Tea Party was never about protesting and inciting violence against those with whom they disagreed. It was always about education, which is radically different from the typical leftist gathering where the only method of interaction that they have is violence or the threat of it. But now things are different, people are fighting back, the right kind of people. The MAGA hats have unified a movement behind a common cause for liberty that has not happened before except perhaps during the Revolution and it is starting to wear down the opposition.

Liberals have never stood for what America always was. They have been asking when America was ever great, so how could there be a hat demanding to make America great again. Because to them they have to destroy individual rights to exist so America was never great, to them greatness comes under the flag of group think. But now conservatives have been united under the MAGA hats and they are coming to the defense of the weak when they see there is a need—and that is something the political left cannot deal with. When it happens thugs like Kino Jimenez learn quickly the consequences of the bully tactics of liberalism when they try to suppress individual rights, the right to think different from a liberal, the right to wear a MAGA hat, the right to separate oneself from the herd of lazy marijuana inspired thugs. For a change the mobs aren’t coming from liberals, they are coming from conservatives united by Trump for the defense of individual rights, and that is something very new.

Compromise is a Dirty Word: Republicans and Democrats are not conducive to an equal and profitable exsitance

It was nice to see so many requests from the liberal left asking that everyone unite under a common cause of America for the day of July 4th. A call for civility is always a good thing, only behind a few layers of social acceptance crept an ominous villain which went unnamed—and that’s usually how it is with conservatives. All parties in the matter are not equal, the political and the left and the political right are not “equally” complicit in the crimes against the American Constitution, are not “equal” in their desire for social change, or even their basic value systems. One party is not equally aggressive, or beholden to an equitable measure of the responsibility for bringing about a day of peace so that all Americans could enjoy a few fireworks. And that assumption was very disturbing because it essentially lures conservatives to believe that they are equally complicit in the crimes of division, which of course they aren’t.

If in a married couple one member of the relationship is always trying to make the other behave in a manner that keeps the marriage alive while the other is always running around cheating and bringing bad elements into the union—both parties are not equally responsible for making the changes needed to make things work. It doesn’t take two to always compromise in order to make concessions for a husband and a wife to get along. If the husband wants to cheat it is not the wife’s responsibility to compromise with her husband and just let him surf dating websites for entertainment. She is not equally responsible to compromise toward his defects emotionally. The man might say to the wife that she doesn’t dress sexy enough to hold his interest, or that the wife is too much a sexual puritan to full satisfy his desires, it is not the responsibility of the wife to sacrifice all her beliefs so that the relationship can work. Maybe she doesn’t want group sex, maybe she doesn’t want to yield to anal sex, maybe she wants a sexual relationship that is more intimate and caring, not filled with so many taboo driven characteristics. It is in the value judgments of the two married people to determine what is acceptable and what isn’t, but if the wife finds the request for sexual fulfilment disgusting, the burden is not for her to scrap her value system in order to get along with a defective husband. It is the husband who must figure out if his values are even conducive to being in a marriage if those are the types of things that he’s interested in.

A marital example is something that just about everyone can relate to and perfectly captures what is being asked when civility between political parties is suggested. It suggests that conservatives and democrats come together equally and put away their weapons just for one day while all Americans watch fireworks and enjoy American pie at their local parades. However, reality knows better and what everyone is fighting about is not a resolution that both sides will meet in the middle and join hands to live happily ever after. When the value systems of both sides are so opposed, the philosophy of the two cannot magically be bonded, reality has parameters for behavior where some things just aren’t conducive with each other. Good is good and bad is bad, they are not relatives to one’s position within the universe. Good behavior or bad behavior is good or bad here on earth or on the other side of a black hole on the far reaches of the universe. We would call that a universal truth. To use the marital example as a foundation of thought, if a man cheats on his wife or demands reckless sex in their relationship the violations against the marriage are the same here as they would be on the far side of the universe. Good and bad cannot be mixed together to form a stable reality.

Conservatives are not responsible for yielding to the ANTIFA protestors’ desires for anarchy. Conservatives are not responsible for the liberal desires for open borders. Conservatives are not responsible for the progressive political platform on abortion where actual death of babies is a negotiating point—is life formed at conception or during the 12th week, or moments before the baby leaves the womb during birth. Conservatives are not responsible for the liberal desires to tax everyone and redistribute the wealth of their society to the lazy bastards who refuse to work and would rather be homeless. In the case of the relationship between conservatives and liberals it is the liberals who want to take from the value of conservatives to sustain the lives of others that is the problem. Conservatives are asking for individual rights not the rights of groups to exist, and that sums up the fundamental difference as to why the two sides will never get along. One side will have to conquer the other and a basic philosophic position going forward will have to be decided upon. If a man is going to cheat, he is deciding to bring bad things to the relationship which makes a marriage unstable. He might complain that the wife doesn’t do this, or that she doesn’t do that, but ultimately it is her value systems which set the restriction for which he is trying to bend. If the purpose of a marriage is to bring about children into the world and to nurture them into a profitable existence than what does anal sex have to do with the happiness of a family, other than the husband is dealing with his own perverted desires? The fight between conservatives and liberals are just the same, if the purpose of politics is to lay the foundations for a proper society, yet one political philosophy wants to support group think and social welfare while the other supports individual rights those two positions cannot be mixed together to make everyone happy. It’s impossible.

Everyone can think of people in their lives who are defective, where they eat too much, drink too much, or have destructive characteristics that harm themselves and others around them. Yet it is not the responsibility of the good to yield their values to the destructiveness of those broken people. You can try to help them by bringing them to the light, but you cannot yield the light to darkness and expect light to survive. The destructive people out there hell-bent on personal failure have nothing to offer, they can only take from value. They don’t assist value, so there can be no equal merging of the two sides. Compromise is never really a compromise because it is always value which is traded away, one side takes while the other gives, that is the nature of good and evil. One side has it, the other side takes it, so there is never an equal partnership and in order to share value with non-value the essence of that value is what gets stretched out and diminished in the process. Everyone wasn’t born equally right from their point of view. It’s not just a matter of democrats talking to conservatives to find common ground. It’s about discovering a philosophy that actually works and building a society that works on principles of good and rejecting concepts of evil that we are talking about and with such ideas, compromise is a dirty word.

How to Have a Happy Life: The nature of love and meaning of Pavarotti’s ‘Nessun Dorma’

I ran across this unique article linked below which of course inspired comment. So many people in life are drowning in misery and self-doubt which is a real tragedy because it’s all avoidable. It’s one thing to have little regrets in life which start when we are all very young, but if not dealt with properly they become monstrosities as we age, and it really destroys people. The burden of regret is a tremendous liability on most people as this little article explores in Best Life. Things get even more complicated philosophically for people as we instruct them that a sense of “self” is selfish and that they should always put others before themselves 100% of the time. Such a position in life is not conducive to a successful existence, so for the sake of inspiring people to live just a little bit better not just in the short-term, but the long-term as well, perhaps a few encouraging words are appropriate.

https://bestlifeonline.com/this-is-biggest-regret-in-life-most-people-have/

From my earliest memory I have always had a strong sense of self and I’ve protected that concept vigorously for over 50 years now. I’m not a believer in reincarnation, but my inner compass has always pointed toward the need to protect my individuality. For that reason, I have never struggled with peer pressure attempting to take me away from my personal goals which later led to regret. I can honestly say that at age 50 that I have no regrets in life. Not a single one. That is true of both good and bad memories. Of course, not everything is always rosy, but when I’ve needed to I’ve certainly defended my sense of self with arguments and fist fights—and even though some people did get very hurt, for me those events didn’t lead to regrets because I was defending my sense of self. I think a lot of people go wrong in their lives because they feel like they should say this or that when other people impose themselves, yet the target of those negative emotions never say anything, they just internalize the emotions leaving them to reflect later in life back to a regret, which then destroys them in thousands of negative ways always from the inside out. Speaking personally, when I felt I needed to do something to defend my sense of self, I have always done it, sometimes recklessly and against the advice of everyone. At the time such things seemed crazy, but it has led me to a life without any regrets and that is a huge benefit to me now.

We are all taught that there is something bigger than ourselves, which is really stupid. The person that people fall in love with and want to be near and to learn from is what we are, not what we sacrifice to others. If you are the type of person who is always giving of yourself and your time you should not be surprised that the people you attract in your life are all people drowning from their bad decisions in life, and that they migrate to you to take whatever you can give them. So unhealthy relationships persist under such conditions. On the other hand, you can’t be psycho about your sense of self either going to the extreme opposite, never letting anyone near you because you feel you are so weak that you can’t let people tow in your wake. I find that the definition that we all have for “love” is wrong. Love isn’t about “falling” for other people, a spouse, a child, or a friend, it’s about taking the substance of one’s existence and allowing people to share in the fruits born from the pronoun “I.” If a person does not have a strong sense of self, than what is there for anybody to “love” about you.

What people love is not what you can give them, but what they can “love” about you—that strong sense of self. For instance, children might love their father but if the guy is just sitting around on the porch of his house thinking about all the things he regrets about his life, the times he should have made more money, or the times he stepped away from a fight with a neighbor over grass clippings, or even gave up his seat in the employee cafeteria to avoid some kind of conflict, there isn’t much for the children to love about such a person except for the sacrifice they provided to their own existence. Compare that to the father who builds a model train set in his basement which the grand kids play with whenever they come over. The material representation of the train set is a reflection of the sense of self of the grandfather which provides some hook for which others in his life can love about him, and the relationship is much more beneficial for everyone. The self-interest of the father to pursue a train set is much more value to a family than a regretful shell of a man rocking in a chair at the end of his life handing out twenty-dollar bills to his children who appreciate the gesture but are craving a sense of love for their father.

I had a tremendously bad day the other day at the start of it and as I am known to do on such days things got a little hairy. One of my daughters was coming over for dinner that night and as the sun was starting to set they asked me what I wanted for dinner and were putting their toes into the water to check my mood. By the time we had the conversation I had solved many of my problems and my response to them was that I had taken a lot of curvy roads through the mountains that day and turned them straight through a desert terrain. Upon further inquiry they asked for details so I sent them by text this video of Luciano Pavarotti singing the famous opera of Nessun Dorma. It is a favorite of mine not because it has inspired me to great things, but because it often matches my mood and approach to things in my life. When I hear Pavarotti sing this opera it reflects my sense of self for which provides many people in my life with something to love about me. I had two choices in such an interaction, I could say that “oh, my day was so bad, I just don’t know what to do” which for me would be uncharacteristic, because I always know what to do. Or I could send them an uplifting message for which they could invest their love—which they could trust because they understand my need to turn curvy roads into nice straight roads and solve problems—no, to “conquer” problems.

It is far better to live a life with bumps and bruises and occasional broken legs than to learn to live with regrets. Similarly, on that bad day I described I gave a little class to some of my employees who needed to hear It about the road less traveled which I’ll share here for context. Do not expect in life to take the safe paved roads that are provided for you and expect to find rare treasures just laying along the side of them. All you ever find is pocket change that people who came before you accidentally drop. The way to really find treasures in life is off those paved roads in the places in the forest where no trail exists. That is where snakes will bite you, thorn bushes puncture your skin and you can even break a leg stepping on the uneven surfaces. But it is also there where treasures are more likely to be found and they don’t all come from actual gold, but in other valuable forms that are otherwise left unmolested due to the difficulty in retrieving them. Yes the road is safe, but the sense of self that we have for which people fall in love doesn’t like safety—because it leads to regret. Not asking that girl for a date, or not taking the time to read that book, or driving that car, or taking that vacation to Hawaii because it’s too expensive leads to a life filled with regret. Life can be difficult and it often can be punishing just to breathe in it, but for me I expect to end each of my days with that feeling you get from Pavarotti singing Nessum Dorma “I will win.” Win what and why, that is defined by our sense of self, and you must have that to know what winning means and how being a winner brings more love to the people in your life who care about you than just being a loser that stays on the safe roads of life and does what everyone tells you to do, leading to an obvious life of misery and regret that isn’t good for anybody.

No Conservative Can be a Racist: Understanding the nature of merit based exsistance

We need to clear something up about our present time, it is impossible for those who are philosophically aligned with conservatism to have any remnants of racism in them. No real conservative could be a racist. Its impossible in every way imaginable. When a Democrat or some 26-year-old reporter writes an article explaining how Donald Trump is a racist due to his border policy, they are expressing their own vast ignorance at the meaning of such a word—they simply don’t know what it means, or how its applied. Racism is a very ancient form of stupidity and is a left-over remnant of mankind’s past in experimenting with superstition and religion. It’s the ultimate group think, to assume that all Jews think this way, or that all Germans think another way, or that people from the continent of Africa have limits of this kind or that kind—all those thoughts are rooted in a misunderstanding that cultural behavior is directly connected to genetic structure—which its not. For anyone who believes in individual rights, it is disingenuous and ignorant to chain people to the group association of their past. It just doesn’t make sense.

To get to the roots of this debacle examine the nature of the type of people who are doing all this genetic research these days, into their own family trees. I have listened to many crazy lunatics over the years go into extreme lengths to discover who in their family’s past was a rug cleaner in the court of some European king, or some great, great-uncle cleaned the gun of a letter carrier in some great American war. Or that their grandfather or father knew a guy who knew a guy who was friends with a guy who knew the agent of a popular rock band and managed to get back stage passes—and for that the entire family is supposed to be proud of their association with touching celebrity in their lives and to actually brag about it. Such thoughts are the foundations of racism, and people who believe in any way that the genetic fortunes of some family member from their past equates to some rubbed off merit passed down through the ages are simply wrong.

You can see this same type of behavior when people inherit unearned wealth after a powerful character dies in a family and the less intelligent descendents try to figure out how to manage the wealth that was left behind. Often those direct family members didn’t have to work hard and learn intellectually how to manage wealth, so millions of dollars that took a lifetime to build are squandered away in months or years by the relatives who inherit it because they do not possess the skills that built the wealth just because of their genetic makeup, or that they happened to marry into a powerful family. The world functions off merit-based intelligence not whether or not a person becomes great and just because they have a son or daughter that all that greatness magically rubs off on the offspring. What does rub off is the access to such greatness and for people within a circle of influence to learn from some older person, but to assume that magically success will just happen because of genetics is a preposterous concept that has long left the minds of anybody intelligent. Those types of thoughts might have had a place in primitive times, but they are long outdated and have been proven wrong and are not part of any conservative movement. The very concept of conservatism puts values on individual behavior, not group assimilation and racism is all about group identity.

Those on the political left do not think in individual terms so everything they see has some primitive form of group association. For instance, there are actual discussions about President Trump’s Supreme Court pick and what school of law they might have attended as if the school itself might make a Supreme Court Justice better than another from a different school. The failed assumption is that it is the school as a group that is responsible for a brilliant legal mind, not the actions of the student in becoming great through hard work and perseverance. It is in the mind of the liberal the association with groups that deserve the credit for excellence. We hear the same type of comparisons in sports, a team that wins a lot often umbrellas the credit for frequent victories on “team philosophies” not the individual efforts of the team members themselves who are responsible. Even with the great play of LaBron James the other individuals on the 2018 Cleveland Cavaliers weren’t very good and they could not beat the Golden State Warriors for the championship. Just because LaBron James was on the Cleveland Team, the entire team wasn’t suddenly good as a whole. The team sucked and only found themselves in the playoffs because of LaBron James. When they had to play teams with other talented NBA players, they couldn’t match the effort and they lost. A school, a team, or a family lineage cannot make someone great, only individualized hard work and effort.

Knowing all that, it is impossible for a race of people to lay claim to any level of intelligence or aptitude. There are brilliant people born along the shores of the Congo River and in the mountain tops of the Andes. They can occur anywhere at any time, and it is up to them to develop those skills as individuals. America was never a racist nation. There is no place on planet earth that has such a diverse and successful assembly of individuals achieving greatness. A successful American is not a person of any kind of color, not even white. Such concepts are entirely made up by people who are liberal in their thinking because they don’t understand the basics of individualized achievement. People aren’t successful in America because they inherited some business from their father or that they went to a certain school. They are successful because they worked hard and developed themselves as individuals to do what others could not, or would not. But once done, the achievement doesn’t carry over into all the children and grandchildren. Doing a heredity search two hundred years from now won’t automatically make some future person more successful just because someone in their family was successful once. It takes the actions of an individual to brew success and that comes from a well-developed mind, not skin color or sex.

The misconceptions of the ignorant, which most liberals are, do not make reality a defined state. Their ignorance and lack of philosophic understanding does not change the rules of the universe. All existence is merit based. A success today does not make a success tomorrow and it certainly doesn’t hide in the genetic makeup of a human being. Only really dumb people would think such a thing. Conservatives are by their basic epistemology those who believe in individualized achievement, and that goes for a person of any color or sex. If a person is good, it doesn’t matter what their background, and it doesn’t matter who their parents were or if their family lineage at some point in the past touched greatness. All that matters is whether the individuals who make up the human race are working to become exceptional in some endeavor and whether or not they manage to have success. There is no racism in the conservative political parties because they are all based on individual behavior, and that knows no genetic limitation. Only the effort behind the mind of individuals.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Hollywood is going extinct

I had the feeling while watching Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom that like the dinosaurs in it that were being resurrected through DNA tampering, that Hollywood was putting on its last great epics before going extinct themselves. Identity politics is killing the motion picture experience, which was certainly present in the new Jurassic World movie, which have always been there just enough to appease the industry radicals. I never expect the Jurassic movies to be deep character pieces, they are adventure films and this one is certainly one of the best. I thought it was a really good movie, better than Jurassic World with jaw-dropping visuals and deserves everything it is making financially. But I couldn’t help but see the bigger picture at play, and this is connected to Solo: A Star Wars Story which was a great movie too, but was torpedoed for being politically incorrect, and lost money at the box office. Identity politics has destroyed this particular story telling experience. Movies in general are now officially extinct. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom does a good job of sidestepping that problem with dinosaurs and some really well-done action sequences, but if this is the best that Hollywood can do—and it is, then no wonder the movie industry is dying. As good as Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom was the critics gave the film a 50% Rotten Tomato score and I’ll tell you why, because Chris Pratt was fabulous in this movie. He was a traditional, very strong, white male matinée actor on par with Indiana Jones and Hollywood’s identity politics doesn’t want to feed that tradition in America and the world, they want to destroy it. Unlike Solo: A Star Wars Story fortunately, parents were willing to take their kids to see Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom anyway, because the dinosaurs were just great, so this particular movie will do good business in spite of industry efforts to punish the film for sticking with traditions in the role of heroics. I thought all the actors did a great job, but Chris Pratt really made this a work of love and it showed.

If the industry can’t get 100% behind a movie like these Jurassic World films they won’t get behind anything and that is the cause of Hollywood’s failure. When leftists took over the industry completely way back in the late 80s and early 90s their goal was obvious, to use Hollywood to sell their message of progressive politics. They were intent to use the fantasy aspect of movies to sell the fantasy of progressives as a disguised reality for which audiences would accept as truth, because they saw it in a movie. Only people went to movies to get away from that kind of politics, so the power of Hollywood started a gradual decline. And it wasn’t just the rejection of the product itself. Over the last thirty years video games have become so much more sophisticated, people have less time for movies and traditional television, and online streaming has proven itself to be competitive with the cinematic experience. If people were able to watch something like The Game of Thrones on their home theater systems why would they rush out to the movies to watch another Jim Carry movie from the Dumb and Dumber series?

Hollywood has a labor union problem, its presence in every movie has jacked up the cost of doing business while at the same time restricting creativity. You can’t make a movie in Hollywood unless the key people are in the labor unions and that means that people who do well in the industry desire to make the union bosses happy by slipping in politics from the union literature that they are always getting from their memberships. In Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Bryce Dallas Howard played Claire with a nice mix of modern woman mixed with traditional damsel in distress fantasy which is very appealing to young male viewers. So the film makers walked the line well in this movie, but her father Ron Howard has completely lost his mind if you watch his Twitter feed, which I think reflects what all these Hollywood people are suffering from and that is the liberalism that is part of their inner circle of experience, and their memberships to the trade unions are the connective tissue that holds them all together toward that distorted reality. Ron Howard I thought did a great job with Solo: A Star Wars Story, but his politics were certainly a turn-off for prospective viewers. I loved the technical aspects of that movie as well as the character itself, but the identity politics in that film were abundant. Critics couldn’t get behind the film obviously because it was about a strong white male. Now if Han Solo and Lando were involved in a homosexual relationship then critics would have loved the movie and pushed it with great reviews. But it was about a traditional romance where the white guy hero tries to win the love of the leading lady and the industry showed its wrath on that film as punishment. In Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom they had a lesbian character in it to appease those demographic stereotypes circulated around the trade union press—like The Hollywood Reporter. Thankfully, the producers cut the scene where the lesbian reveals her sexuality—so the nature of her sexual relationships with women went undefined in the film. Nobody goes to see a movie about dinosaurs because they want to think about the sexual appetites of the characters. They want to see action, and heroics—that’s why they buy tickets. But the trade unions don’t care about profit or the reason people buy tickets, because they are under the assumption that people will always attend movies at a movie theater so they can push their members into left leaning radicalism to get their progressive messages out to the world at any cost.

That cost is horrendous. Hollywood has turned toward global box office takes to cover their costs, and expectations. If a film doesn’t make $100 million in the communist Chinese market these days, it’s considered a failure. Movies these days can’t just be movies, they have to be vehicles of progressive propaganda that have globalists messages. Movies like Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom walk the line as closely as is possible these days. I thought the action scenes were as good as any of the past Indiana Jones movies, both in quality and execution. It was smartly made on a $170 million-dollar budget which is essentially a two-act play—where most films are three act structures. I thought that was a great move, to start the movie with a tremendous action sequence that would be the climax of most movies, then to turn toward a Hitchcockian style of horror film. One of the main villains was an auctioneer played by Toby Jones, which I thought was very good—yet it wasn’t lost to me that when he was about to be eaten by a dinosaur that his combover flying in the wind was a shot at Donald Trump. There was certainly an anti-capitalist message that would have stepped all over itself if the dinosaurs weren’t larger than life and were the real scene stealers. But making a movie like this where little anti-Trump Easter eggs were thrown in to make the cast and crew happy is risky business because the filmmakers certainly don’t want people like me to derail the film over the reminders of modern politics that is entirely left leaning. For instance, there was much made about how much better the new Oceans movie made in box office acceptance over Solo: A Star Wars Story, because it’s a film where females take over the role of traditional men in that heist film. That movie is on its third weekend and it just broke $100 million domestically. Solo: A Star Wars Story did that the first week and a half of its run so the game is easy to see for those who have the eyes for it. Hollywood has used that oversea number to hide the dismal domestic box office reality from not only themselves, but the entire entertainment industry. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom was smart to cut their film into a two-act structure and to put all their money upfront because it wasn’t easy to tell how the movie would do in this toxic identity politics driven world. Not every movie can do that, so reality is starting to cook the industry alive, and it is obvious.

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is a great movie if movies were allowed to just be movies anymore. But they aren’t. Hollywood metaphorically is the fallen kingdom refered to in the movie. Mankind is losing the world to dinosaurs because we tampered too much with science to allow our species to coexists with them, and ironically it is the Hollywood industry that is now going extinct. There is just too much competition and social media has too many critics to allow Hollywood to achieve their aim at just making progressive movies with global box office numbers that carry them all over $500 million each. That is a formula that just isn’t going to work so in many ways this latest Jurassic World movie is like watching the end of an era where literally everything we have ever known about it was blowing up in front of our faces. It was spectacular to see, and worth the ticket. But the writing is clearly on the wall. The next generation is not going to support the movie industry. They have too many other options to enjoy for their entertainment dollar, and time. Identity politics has killed the Hollywood product. And that is the real story behind Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.

Case of The Red Hen: Stephanie Wilkinson showed us why breaking the law on gun legislation is perfectly justifiable–if the “left” wants to fight, let’s go

Sarah Sanders, the White House Press Secretary for President Trump was with her family 200 miles into the Virginia countryside when they stopped by the little town of Lexington for some food at The Red Hen. From outside, it looked like an arty little place, badly painted and small—with only 26 seats, yet it had been a rough week and a little cultural experience seemed like just the thing, so they stepped inside to have a family meal, hopefully without the media paying much attention so they could relax. Yet the staff recognized her and wanted to make a political issue of the visit. Lexington was a liberal town centered in a conservative county, so they are already at odds with the Trump supporters of the rural countryside surrounding the town.

Not sure what to do they called up the cousin of Meryl Streep herself who was the restaurant owner and also the Director of Main Street Lexington which was a group designated to inspire a friendly business atmosphere in the downtown area. Stephanie Wilkinson as a liberal activist who had hired a lot of radicals to her staff had to take their side so she came in during the appetizer portion of the meal that was being served to Sanders and pulled her aside to ask her to leave. Sarah respected the restaurant owners right to serve whoever they wanted, so she and her family left. More specifics about this case can be seen at The American Thinker article below as well as this very interesting video featuring an interview with Stephanie Wilkinson herself. So much for her efforts at trying to help downtown Lexington—she just put a black eye on that poor town with her liberal activism, and everyone will have to pay for it, not just the little dump they call The Red Hen.

https://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2018/06/red_hen_bigotry_or_moral_conviction.html

The hypocrisy couldn’t be clearer, when pressed by reporters in the wake of the aftermath, Wilkinson said she would do it again, and that she felt morally compelled to make the decision citing that the restaurant had certain standards that they had to uphold and that she had to uphold those standards by asking a member of the President’s staff to leave. Obviously, this is a problem because it calls to mind the rantings of the political left over the refusal of bakery owners to serve to gay people, or the Kentucky case of the clerk of courts to certify a marriage certificate because it was a gay couple, the notion of “standards” is quite an open issue, because those standards could be defined differently by different people in different regions. As much as the political left made of the issue you’d think they wouldn’t be so stupid to attempt such a refusal to serve, but obviously as the Supreme Court recently upheld, such places do have the right to discriminate if they so choose.

The case of the week which Sarah Sanders had to deal with by members of a very ignorant and immature press corps, was the breaking up of children from their parents at the border who had to be detained for trying to illegally cross the American border from the south. The political left was involved in attempting to spread the notion that illegal immigrants should ignore the law so to change the nature of the American population more to their favor. The political left at just about every issue they care about feel quite comfortable ignoring laws they don’t agree with and using mass force in the form of protests to legislate by overwhelming the courts. The same approach could be said to be in play over the marijuana controversy, where states are supposed to say, “oh well, people are going to smoke it anyway, so let’s just make it legal.” They are trying to do the same thing over border security, “look at all these poor children without their parents, let’s just let everyone out of jail and open up the borders.” The children are used as pawns, the media plays long with the narrative and law breaking is advocated as a viable option to the current state of things.

Yet mysteriously, those same liberals assume that if they lobbied for gun control for example, that the other half of the country who are not liberals would just magically obey the law if it were liberals who were in charge. Does that make any sense? What good would more gun rules be if all the people who like guns, like me, ignored those laws, overwhelmed the courts with cases they couldn’t possibly deal with, and filled the jails to the point that they couldn’t afford to send anybody else to jail. There are probably around 1.20 guns per American citizen, which comes out to well over 360 million and counting. Who in the right mind thinks that those gun owners would ever comply with the gun confiscations that the political left are always advocating for? The sheer numbers make it impossible, because if pushed, those of us with guns would just refuse to comply, the same way that liberals do on issues like border security, drug legalization, and even common decency such as restaurant service. I mean two can play at this game and I look at the case of Stephanie Wlkinson as a perfect example of how the political left has shown us their cards opening the refusal of any future liberal administrations to outright rebellion against any rules they might come up with. Lawlessness, and physical violence such as we’ve seen by the liberal group of anarchists called ANTIFA that have opened the door toward that type of reasoning. Do they think that conservatives won’t fight back, or that we won’t push back against incursions of our value judgments? Just because we tend to settle disputes with legal recourse and polite debate, that doesn’t mean that we will accept lawless administrations dictating terms to our lives.

Sarah Sanders did the right thing, if she had stayed, the radical lefts in the kitchen probably would have just spit in her food and sabotaged their experience passive aggressively. So they did her a favor to ask her to leave. She likely had a much safer meal elsewhere. What’s more dangerous than people like Stephanie Wilkinson openly protesting conservatives they don’t agree with are the saboteurs who just piss in your food from the kitchen, and believe me, that does happen. It’s good to know their minds, to watch how they probe the fences and how they react when they are not in charge, because when and if they ever are again, we have just as much right to break the law as they do, especially over the issue of gun control. The political left has shown us what they are willing to do when they aren’t the ones making the rules, and they have opened the door to outright lawlessness. So when they beg the police to come and confiscate our guns, they shouldn’t be surprised when we say no.

Liberals like Stephanie Wilkinson and her crappy Red Hen restaurant is a small player in the world economy. It is likely that people from outside of downtown Lexington, Virginia are not flocking to her restaurant of gay servers on a Friday and Saturday night for a “cultural meal.” Now if there were a Chick-fil-A in town, that place would be swamped, but not the Red Hen. Wilkinson probably thought that this whole deal with Sarah Sanders would be a good publicity stunt and fellow liberals would flock to Lexington to fill up their empty storefronts with like-minded liberal losers. But the opposite is happening to her, the Trump supporters from the countryside are just a little pissed off now, and the ramifications of that can be pretty scary. And like her cousin Meryl Streep learned, because Hollywood isn’t doing so well these days in the aftermath of their Trump protests, Stephanie Wilkinson poked the wrong bear. And that serves as a greater metaphor for all future legislation. If liberals are going to break laws and ignore conduct of proper decency in restaurants, than why should the rest of us respect them? Oh, didn’t think that far, did they?

If these liberal losers want to fight, I’m game.  If I were them, I wouldn’t bet on winning that fight.  After all, we ain’t playing patty cake.  The “left” better watch what they wish for.

Angry White Males are Sinking Disney: A bad decision to go to war with half the population over politically progressive ideas

Even if it doesn’t impact you directly dear reader, the civil war at the middle of the Star Wars debate is at the center of the most important aspects of all our lives. As everyone knows by now, the latest Star Wars movie did dreadfully bad at the box office. Solo: A Star Wars Story I thought was one of the best Star Wars movies, if not the very best one, but the fan base was and remains impossibly split on the topic and the brand has taken a hit that I don’t think it will ever recover from. That is very sad, because of all the good potential that there has been over Star Wars. I of course still enjoy it, likely for me that is mostly because of my grandchildren. I have been willing to overlook a lot of the progressive stuff that are now in the films because I wanted to be able to share those stories with my grandchildren. But with Solo: A Star Wars Story being out in the theaters for almost a month now, and its global box office hasn’t even hit $400 million yet, it’s quite obvious that the battle lines have been drawn and the brand of Star Wars has lost its power and that is really bad for retailers like Target, Wal-Mart and Hasbro who have invested heavily in the franchise, but it’s ultimately a killer for Disney who bought Lucasfilm in 2012 only to do what many fans feared would happen, and that was to ruin it for everyone.

Long time readers here might recall the radio broadcasts I did back in 2015 where all this was predicted. Star Wars was never supposed to be a vehicle of progressive ideas, it was always a hot rod version of the space cowboy values of Flash Gordon. There were a lot of white male characters in the story because those were the types of actors who were easy to get on a shoe string budget and everyone made the most of it. While the original films were about ultimately the tyranny of government over individuals which is something all political sides could agree on, the scope of the entertainment enterprise was haughty enough to avoid getting too complicated with details. The target audience was young males 6-12 years of age and the formula worked. It was popular because dads could share the experience with sons and there was enough fun there for the girls if they wanted to come along and make the whole thing a good family event. But Disney and Lucasfilm together sought from the very beginning to change Star Wars into the very toxic realm of identity politics where girls took over the role of males and people of color were purposely inserted into the storylines with an activist intention directed to Star Wars fans that they would accept those types of things or they simply wouldn’t get anymore Star Wars, almost like a parental figure bribing a kid to be quiet or they wouldn’t get any chicken nuggets from a McDonald’s Happy Meal.

The big mistake Star Wars made under the Disney ownership was that they joined in the progressive attack against angry white males and specifically the value that males bring to the world. We are living in an age where boys and men are literally attacked all the time over everything, and many of them are sick of it. The election of Donald Trump has been a boomerang effect that many never counted on, but guess what, men make up half of the global population. Attacking them is probably going to have an impact on the bottom line of any business because once men get the idea that they are being punished for something, they are going to take it personally, and that is exactly what has happened to Star Wars. Girls are girls, they really don’t care about fighting and wars, they have concerns about procreation and being nurturing figures. They aren’t the people who supported Star Wars, they often went along because they were interested in the boys who were interested in Star Wars. Disney’s biggest mistake was in thinking that if they centered the Star Wars films on women that the boys would stick around for the space ships, and that is not what happened at all. The boys and men have just rejected it all together, and by the time that Lucasfilm realized the error and tried to correct it with Solo: A Star Wars Story, it was too late.

I feel bad for Kelly Marie Tran who played the most divisive role in any Star Wars film with Rose in The Last Jedi. (See my article titled, Blame Fat Asian Chicks) for my take on her role in killing Star Wars. It’s not her fault personally, she was put into that role by the producers and the effect was just explosively negative. This past week she has had to remove herself from social media because of all the harassment she is getting which has then led to many of the Star Wars alums defending her which really has only made the situation worse because it keeps feeding the narrative. And now that Solo: A Star Wars Story has lost so much money, there is even more anger at those “angry white men” who simply didn’t go to the theater to see the Disney product—the potential loses here are in the billions of dollars, which is exactly where I warned Disney they didn’t want to be if they stayed on their progressive path as indicated way back in 2012 and 2013. People would not support Star Wars if it went from a story of hope for anyone no matter what sex or color and turned into an “anybody but white males” extravaganza of pointless resistance. The metaphor for The Last Jedi couldn’t be more girlish—all the great men are dead, Han Solo and Luke specifically, and the whole movie is about women in charge running out of gas only to turn the ship around at the end and kill themselves with a big human sacrifice. At least three of the main female characters in the movie sacrificed themselves in the movie for really no other reason than they were being outmatched and dominated by their male counterparts and that was not an exciting message to inspire audiences to spend vast amounts of money on the experience. The Rose character was dropped into the Star Wars story to obviously appeal to people who weren’t Barbie doll beautiful, which is always a concern with square hipped middle-aged women on their last few eggs who feel like their best years of attracting the pollen of a hungry young bee are behind them, so they become angry political activists who start hating men not for what they are, but because those men are no longer interested in them sexually. This progressive radicalism starts to become all they see in everything, and that’s why The Last Jedi happened, and completely divided up the fan base. It’s one thing to allow those emotions to govern your life, it’s quite another when they get mixed up in a multibillion dollar franchise that has the lives of lots of people attached to it. People like Kelly Marie Tran get caught in the crossfire which really wasn’t fair to them, but it is what it is.

This is important because it’s the most obvious sign of things to come in the war between progressivism and traditional white men—and males in general. The desire to turn men into something other than what they are has backfired in the worst way for Disney and they’ve taken something that could have been really wonderful and turned it into a mess. While Bob Iger did a great job setting the table for his company of Disney and the shareholders assumed that he and everyone else knew what they were doing, they made a fatal mistake—they assumed that Star Wars could hold all these progressive messages and that the franchise would still make a billion dollars a picture. Instead they have put themselves on the front end of the down turning progressive movement, and I say down turning because the Donald Trump presidency is changing the nature of politics and the Disney Company is on the outside of that change. Disney instead of truly being an all-inclusive company has chosen to go after the Starbucks type of crowd believing they were the future and they did so at the expense of the Chick-fil-A crowd who are filled with those crazy religious angry white males. But those are also the same people who grow up and have families with expendable income who will spend $10,000 on a Disney vacation in one of their theme parks. And now that doesn’t look to be the case. The Starbucks people are bums, people who loaf around and want things for free, they won’t be dropping millions of dollars on the new Star Wars Land at Disney World. And now because of their actions at putting progressive activism into the new Star Wars movies, the angry white guys who do like to eat at Chick-fil-A, who voted for Donald Trump, and who are typically the type of people who get and hold jobs won’t be participating, and that is bad, bad news for Disney. A terrible miscalculation on their part, which I tried to warn them against. But they didn’t listen, until it was too late.
