The Grand Lie of Public Education: How to fix a broken system

When anybody uses the term, “we must educate our children to compete in the global marketplace,” or any variation of that term the instigator is totally ignorant as to what makes education valuable. They falsely believe that education consists in teaching children left-winged ideology and work habits of a 100% commitment to institutionalism and that since the rest of the world is moving in that direction, that American education must consist of these erroneous premises. After all, political “leaders” see how things are done in China, and Japan, and they believe they must copy those methods—which is probably the dumbest thing that could be introduced to an American workforce and the people who make it up. People who believe that “education” as defined by Common Core standards is the way to direct young minds might as well be crack addicts instructing others on responsible living. The point of education eludes them making them a menace to the discussion of learning.

The most important attribute public education could and should implement into an instructional system of any kind, is the ability to think. The second thing it could do would be to teach students to be competent human beings. Anything outside of those parameters is useless to a human mind, and merely ornamental. Education is not a race against the socialists of Europe, the communists of China, or the kamikaze driven Easterner. Americans are imaginative, intuitive, and utilize large amounts of horse sense in their utilization of productivity and their education system needs to reflect this trend.

Americans fix tractors often with shovel handles, solve complicated engineering feats with bubble gum, and produce more patents than anyplace else in the world—because they are a free people who are at liberty to think. However modern education which leans way to far to the political left, is about chasing the rest of the foolish world teaching our youth to be just as stupid as everyone else, and to turn off their minds to the process of thought—and to embrace blind submission to institutional authority. This is the most damaging attribute that can be taught to an American.

If those who support government education want real success, not just statistical success relative to the rest of the world’s false methods they would teach young minds to “think” not just remember facts given to them by the state. Even conservatives are guilty of this tendency of believing that by committing resources to “education” that they have done their job. They don’t consider the quality of education, only that someone is doing something educationally related. They don’t think of what the implications of education may be if the wrong things are learned, or the wrong interpretation of history is broadcast to young minds awaiting programming of their brain by trusted adults.

Michelle Rhee the popular education reformer at the heart of the movie Waiting for Superman is wrong when she says that education is the key to the success of American children. That cliché is overused and ridiculous. It is a mythology designed to preserve the education culture and their utopian vision for the world. Most of those people are well-intentioned human beings who simply love children and teaching them—but they do not consider in those assessments the quality of their love, or their intelligence as factors that can hold back children from living otherwise fruitful lives. They assume that they are qualified to teach just because the state has given them a license to do so—a license that meant the teacher had to comply with the state’s version of reality.

The way to alleviate these faux pas in education is to teach children to think. Why is Common Core so vile and evil? The reason is that the only way it can work is to limit the intelligence of the most brilliant and force them to only be as good as the weakest links. Our modern education system does not like making such value judgments—which is why they ultimately are failures. The belief with Common Core is that if children spin their wheels copying off students from countries reeking with statism, that success will abound and that such success can be had by not asserting value to the quality of the students or their educations. It cannot. If students aren’t taught first how to think, or how to be competent human beings, the education system will fail 100% of the time.

If the value is to produce students who will mindlessly serve the state, then modern education throughout the world is doing its job. But if the goal is to teach human beings to invent new things, start businesses, vote correctly, or mentor a child—they are way off the intended target and have no hope of getting there under the current circumstances. Education is more than just lip service—it is a philosophy. It can’t be memorized; it has to be a part of an individual mind. There is no way to cheat it. If garbage is put into a mind, then garbage will come out.

My daughter sent me a text the other day that featured a cartoon of a young person reading a book. The caption read, “Uploading data to the human brain.” What we feed our brains is what we ultimately become. If we read good books, think good thoughts, and use our imaginations to explore possibilities, we will have reasonable success in life. But before that can happen, “good” has to be identified, and stood behind. If on the other hand we put into our minds garbage like pornography, sports stats, trivial nonsense like global warming issues, political diatribes and that kind of thing, our minds over time will become encumbered with sluggish thought processes. Education is not good unless the value of good accompanies it. A well-rounded education is not exploring sexuality, worshiping the earth, or supporting teacher unions. It is about learning to think and living as a competent individual.

It is utterly shocking how many functioning adults in 2014 are incompetent fools. The only way I can avoid this incompetency is to not leave my driveway in the morning, because there are some really stupid people functioning in the world—which is evidence that our education system is a complete failure. Yet politicians want us to do more of this foolishness so they can get their fingers on federal money dangled like bait in a trap to supersede our state sovereignty. That is just idiotic.

It is easy to make clichéd comments about education without considering the implications and it happens all the time. But the answer is not in just hiring more teachers, giving more money to teachers, or building more schools. That is not enough. The real intent of education is in teaching people to “think.” Without thought there is no education, there is no mind, and there certainly isn’t any kind of future. Without thought, there is nothing—but empty promises and misery. And I want no part in that.

“May The 4th Be With You”: A long weekend of “HOPE”

My long-awaited Rebel Transport came to my home at the conclusion of the new international Holiday, May 4th. I was ecstatic to put my hands on that new creation from Fantasy Flight Games and without a doubt; it will load my spare time with countless adventures. The sheer joy of the new game X-Wing Miniatures is wonderfully articulated in the picture below. This is literally what its like at my house. And it will get worse—I promise. Over the weekend while playing a game of X-Wing, to celebrate May 4th, the official Star Wars day which happens every year with great fanfare, my one and a half-year old grandson wanted desperately to play the game with me. So I let him roll my dice and he loved it.

 Xwing

For the first time that I can think of the official Star Wars weekend launched a spectacular amount of news over the first weekend of May. First the new cast was announced for the new films—which had their first script read together last week. At midnight the new Rebels television show released their new preview which can be seen below. Guess who was watching it at 12:01 AM in the morning of May 4th? Me! On top of all that even the Cincinnati Reds dedicated a whole weekend against their first place division rivals the Milwaukee Brewers. It was Star Wars weekend at Great American Ballpark in Downtown Cincinnati. My family went on Friday night when after the game there was a spectacular fireworks display to the music of the famed musical conductor John Williams that ignited the sky. From the premium seats in Great American Ballpark it was the best fireworks display I had ever seen. Just a bit behind home plate, most of the people who normally sit in that section had got up and left leaving us nearly alone in the coveted section and completely untouched by other human beings. However most of the 30,000+ crowd stuck around with their children and they loved the show with much emotion. During the entire game Friday night, Star Wars characters were all over the field and the music was piped in through the stadium and it was genuinely inspiring to see the two entertainment franchises coming together like that.

Leading up to that baseball game many of the die-hard Reds fans on talk radio and elsewhere were perplexed as to why the baseball team even attempted to cater to a new “geeky” demographic group. I wanted to tell them, but they lacked the language to understand. Just like they would never understand why I kept checking my UPS tracking number on my Rebel Transport during the game hoping it would arrive for a vicious game of X-Wing the following Saturday. I’m 46 years old and to their minds should be interested in a lot of other things—but I am part of that demographic that the Reds were reaching out to—and among young people there are a lot more like me coming to age.

Two weeks from now Hollywood Studios, Florida has their Star Wars Weekends which are always fun. The first weekend is the popular dance off which I always love displayed in the center stage of that fabulous park. Those weekends are typically so busy that the parking lot spills over into the Epcot Center. The parade is one of the most spectacular displays of Star Wars fandom anywhere in the world. The question from the un-initiated is…………..why?

During the Reds game I had to explain to my daughter how when I was younger I had to make a difficult cultural decision. I was spectacular in sports and every teacher who coached a sport wanted me to be on their team. I was the fastest kid in my school especially during my grade school years. Athletically, I could have done anything I wanted to. But, culturally back then, it was taboo to enjoy Star Wars because that made a person categorically a geek. And I loved Star Wars. I was friends with one of the most popular girls in my school and her younger brother was one of my best friends. Through her I could have had access to the upper echelons of public school popularity. But I hated it and wanted nothing to do with any of that politicking. Instead her brother would come to my house on a Friday night and bring all his Star Wars toys and he, my brother, my brother’s friends and I would play with all those toys until late into the night. I never got sick of it even when I was older and my girl friend was interested in boys and all the kids my age were going to dances and hanging out at football games. She thought I was weird because I had no interest in the life she lived. I had picked Star Wars over sports because the culture dictated that you had to choose.

I thought it astonishing that the Reds actually had a Star Wars weekend because finally after 30 years of human evolution the marketing department for the Cincinnati Reds understood that if they want to survive into the future, that they better find a way to appeal to the “Star Wars Geeks.” The game of baseball with all its traditions is struggling to appeal to younger audiences, so they are getting creative even though in an interview with Brandon Philips on 700 WLW, he clearly didn’t understand.

In a lot of ways the new X-Wing Miniatures game is closely associated with those late night sessions playing Star Wars as a kid, and even as a grown adult I’d still rather do that than hang out in some other venue doing something I’d consider utterly useless. Many people confuse Star Wars and Star Trek as being of the same thing, but they are radically different. Star Wars is not about just exploring new frontiers in space and the interactions of characters with different backgrounds and species types. Star Wars is a deep, and rich mythology that works in ways that religion struggles with and is a creation of our times exploring all the primary concerns of our day. Star Wars for me is a western in that it is primarily concerned with the same type of honorable values. It is also about technological innovation and has its roots in drag racing where a young George Lucas loved cars and carried that love over into the space ships of Star Wars. Many of the beat up ships of the new Star Wars games are like galactic hot rods and have a similar appeal as Hot Wheel cars, only these can be used strategically to beat an opponent in a game of thought. I have never seen anything like the new Rebel Transport created for a simple game. By itself, it is an amazing work of art.

Ultimately the wars of Star Wars are about value and the popularity of those films in all the venues extending beyond the silver screen are essentially about preserving or destroying values. For me, the stories of those values carried far more weight than just athletic prowess in sports, or the ability to kiss a girl at a dance. Watching the Cincinnati Reds embrace those values gave me tremendous hope for the future transcending a human leap of evolution many were not aware of. But I saw it during the Reds post game fireworks display and the many tens of thousands who were at Great American Ballpark to enjoy the relatively private show. With all the news that came out about Star Wars during the May 4th Weekend I understood with renewed vigor why the first film was titled A New Hope. The movie was not just about a galaxy far, far away a long time ago but about our human race in the here and now. For many, myself included, Star Wars is about a new hope. My infant grandson knows it, the people at the Reds game knew it, and the thousands who like me were watching the Rebels preview at 12:01 AM knew it. And I wasn’t the only one waiting for my Rebel Transport to arrive over the weekend. Most fans of Star Wars find in it a hope that is otherwise vacant. Hope is why I picked Star Wars over sports as a kid, and space ships over girls. I’m still that way, only my wife actually plays that stuff with me, which is why we’ve been married so long.

The new Rebel Transport is one of the most dramatic things I have ever looked at for a whole lot of reason—most of them centered on hope. In the films the Rebel Transport was the rebels last hope of punching through imperial blockades and fleeing for freedom to live another day in a fight between tyranny and goodness. The X-Wing Miniatures model is really just a lot of plastic and paint, but it is in the organization of those things into a coherent interactive story about hope that makes it something I was checking its arrival time every hour on the hour over the entire weekend. And now that I have it, all is right with the world. The reason is that it represents to me hope, and that is the core of what the term, “May the 4th be with you” really means.

The Great Gatsby: Preparing for assassinations against Americans

I have received several warnings from readers here at Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom that within the year of 2014 to 2015 that I am on the target list of professional assassins headed to my doorstep.  These assassins are part of a kind of shadow government which desire a one world command guided by socialism desiring to eliminate those considered front-runners of any particular resistance.  My usual answer to these well-meaning readers is that I’m looking forward to the attempt—which I am.  It will be good to finally drop away the pretense of civility and act out of an authenticity indicative of our times.  I would rather deal with professional assassins than political back stabbers embedded in our neighborhoods as friends.  However, to an increasing number of Americans who consider themselves part of the Sovereign Citizen movement this knowledge is quite terrifying.  Many of the supporters of the Sovereigns are deeply religious and take scripture literally—so the information coming at them quickly now closely resembling The Book of Revelations is literally terrifying and the assassins of the upcoming apocalypse are something to be dreaded.  To understand these types of people who have some legitimate points, this video from Sgt. Major Page was given to the St Louis Oath Keepers.

I listen cautiously to these kinds of public speakers because most of their opinions are laced with fear instigated from the basic premise of social antagonism.  They are insulted to learn that there are elements of global politics from finance to actual office holders who wish to end American sovereignty and the Constitutional Rights of its citizens.  Their reaction is often extreme when they run across this information and their number is growing.  When people lose their trust in government, the natural reaction are people like Sgt. Page.

Oath Keepers and Tea Party types are considered by the hard left and even the moderate middle grounders in politics to be radical because they consider as progressives adherence to traditional values, Christianity, or Constitutional purity, to be terrorism.  So people who adhere to traditional values in America are considered terrorists to those who wish to change it and a war is on the horizon.  Sgt. Dan Page was correct in his speech when he said that in such a future confrontation only 3% of the population will actually resist and anybody considered in that 3% is targeted for assassination before the actual violence transpires due to economic crises, global incident, or other subversive measures.

Currently, which has been more than adequately discussed by me, government education is heading down the exact path that Sgt. Page discussed.   Today’s school levy supporter is tomorrow’s distressed parent wondering why their public school wants their 2 and 3-year-old children to stay at a pre-school campus under the constant care of a teacher.  Most school teachers today have no idea of the possibilities designed for their future, but it will not be a long time before states declare such things as legal necessity for national security driven by global competition.  And once a law is created police and teachers will enforce those laws and parents will wonder how they lost control of their children so quickly.  The needs of the state will superseded the needs of the individual.  China’s GDP is surpassing the GDP of America and the blame will be placed on the poor education of American children—leading to earlier education start times dictated by the state—because that’s how things are done in China—the current driver of world economic standards.

Where I disagree with Sgt. Page is that he is a blind supporter of taxation—where I am absolutely not.  He is a federal employee and as he says—he is still owned by the United States military.  He believes that contractors like him will be hired to hunt down people like me and that he will win.  Nope.  Won’t happen, it doesn’t matter how many sniper shots a trained killer has taken or heads they have cut off.  The bottom line is that they are by their very nature creations of the state and they will go down by the state as well.  If I had to report how many meetings I have been in where bureaucrats came up with some kind of plan that quickly fell apart the moment everyone left the conference room, I’d give the ratio of success at zero.  The more people involved, the greater the tendency of failure and in an operation like what Sgt Page is discussing I believe the intentions are real, but I do not believe that anybody in government is competent to pull it off.  I believe they will try, but they will fail just as they fail at everything government does.  Ultimately when they send people like Sgt. Page to my doorstep with his Green Beret trained antics the government will fail because it needs people like me to be productive and continue feeding it.  So they are the ones caught in a Catch 22.  They may not want people like me around, but they can’t live without me either.

There have been a few who have tried to “sway” me away from my task over the last couple of years with “force.”  Their mistake, and foolishly, they won’t be the last.  But most  of the time—probably 90% of the time the people involved are completely incompetent and unable to achieve their objectives and that ratio won’t alleviate just because of a desire on behalf of the insurgents supporting progressivism.  They are doomed to fail and unable to do much behind hiring contractual killers and holding meetings to talk about doing things. Of the given pool of contractual killers out there in the world, only a few will actually attempt to perform the task because most are on my side of things and hate the governments trying to employ them. Those who have no real convictions and can take money to kill a good person are bad people and in the rock, paper, and scissor game of life good beats bad because value destroys those who lack value.  The only way that poor value beats value is by surprise and deceit which significantly lowers the opportunities for success of mission objectives.

More powerful than any weapon in Sgt. Page’s arsenal is the written word.  Millions of people have read by this point in their lives the novel The Great Gatsby by F.S. Fitzgerald which is a favorite of mine.  Most people read that novel and think that it is about American excess in capitalism and how the evils of old money need to be leveled off for fairness to all.  The villain in the novel was after all an Ivy League wealthy polo player who believed that he was born superior to everyone else and in the end he got the girl.  But I understand the Great Gatsby, I get his innovation, I understand his passion, and I understand deeply his tenacity—his single minded determination to stare at the green light across the harbor and get what he wants.  I learn from such stories and I won’t be making the same mistakes as to let old money beat the new—or to let scandal and love blind the opportunities for success—my green light is not an unappreciative lover living a dual life in scandal but an ideal of Constitutional purity.  The schemes of the old world will not find a weakness that will be brought down by a car accident.  It might be said that I was so inspired by Fitzgerald that I use the written word as my weapon as opposed to meeting the contracted Sgt. Pages out on the battlefield where their military trained minds only think one way and are sluts to their dollars given to them by bureaucrats to remove that 3% opposition to their objectives.

The Great Gatsby has been available to millions of people for over 100 years yet 97% of those readers think the novel is a cautionary tale about the American Dream.  It is not.  It is about the ability of one man to completely dominate New York society and Long Island politics in a short 5 year period.  Yet Gatsby never cared about the money so much, only about the woman he loved who did love money and in the end, she picked the cheating husband of old money over the loyal charisma of new money. The new money is America the old money is Europe.  On the battlefield the old money is Sgt. Dan Page and I am the Great Gatsby—only I haven’t dedicated my life to making money for women, but to using the power of the written word to appeal to the 3% out there in the world who understand The Great Gatsby without explanation and will join me on the battlefield when the time comes to fight in a way that the contracted killers can’t understand against an enemy that is the purer version of their former selves.  In the end, guilt will rob them of their wits, and their trigger finger.

I appreciate the concern, I really do.  But I’m playing my own Great Gatsby game but the focus isn’t the same as the 1925 Fitzgerald novel.  And in that game there are rules that haven’t even been taught yet that will come into play and the statism trained provocateurs will be at a serious disadvantage.  Yes, hard times are coming, but it isn’t the Book of Revelations—the end of times, that we are dealing with. Rather, it’s an undefined time that has not yet been taught to human populations because nobody has yet framed these arguments in ways that 97% of the population will understand.  But the 3% do, and in the coming war—that’s all I need.  We should learn from the literary classics—not repeat them.

Wanted, Mercenary Group For Nigerian Mission: Saving sex slaves from the Boko Haram

I often get called a sexist by idiots who have swallowed the hook of feminism without consideration.  I have traditional values in regard to the roles of the sexes in domestic life and in the upbringing of children.  Critics of mine draw their terminology from low intellect sloths with assess the size of their mouths—and they do it to attempt control of my behavior when they discover that they can’t out maneuver my strategy.  That type of name calling is not about correctly labeling a dire social position or old-fashioned neurosis, but in gaining control over another person.  It is often an offensive tactical maneuver to attempt to play a race or sexism card created by progressives to leverage control over the powerful.  Similarly I have watched this whole issue involving Donald Sterling who was obviously jealous of his mistress girlfriend V. Stinviano’s enjoyment of men with color—and didn’t want to be made a fool of at his Los Angeles Clipper games of which he was the owner.  After all, he’s 80 years old and left his wife of many years to hang out with young women like Stinviano—so he doesn’t need her bringing around young studs to public settings where people know that he’s sexually engaged in the same young woman only not for his prowess, but his money.  That’s what I heard when listing to the tapes accusing him of racism—of which Stinviano recorded to gain power over her sugar daddy—which worked.  Now Sterling is destroyed as the machine of progressivism has went to work at removing his property ownership of an NBA team and virtually everything he ever was by accusations of being a racist.  Even Snoop Dog weighed in to give his two cents about the Donald Sterling case.

Many of those opinions have been formed by progressive influences that have dumped billions of dollars into years of shaping the parameters of social terminology.  George Soros for one, Bill Gates for another along with thousands of others who are excessively wealthy and seem intent to help shape the world toward progressivism have been bold about their assertions regarding feminism and racism advocating an open society where the government does the child raising while all able-bodied adults work and pay taxes to supply the state with the money it needs to properly fund the kind of socialism that progressives are such large supporters of.

However, in the recent case of the 329 schoolgirls from northern Nigeria stolen in the middle of the night from a boarding school in the Chibok region currently being sold as sex slaves to members of the Boko Haram—there doesn’t seem to be the same kind of anger from the Snoop Dogs of the world—the progressive social shifters who are so inflamed with rage over the Donald Sterling racism issue.  After all, in regards to the 329 little girls, they are female, so feminist groups should be outraged, they are young ladies of color, so civil rights leaders should be even more angry than they are over Sterling, and every human being in the world should be upset that the girls are being forced into slavery—sex slavery at that.  Yet there doesn’t seem to be any desire to help the little girls from the George Soros types—those with bottomless pit money. A few news outlets have written about it, but nobody has any desire to help the girls or their families with any real action.

http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/boko-haram-329-schoolgirls-stolen-3489356

The Boko Haram literally means in Nigerian “Western education is sinful,” and members of it are associated with the Taliban movement from Afghanistan. From the perspective of those Islamic radicals, they are intent to make all of Nigeria a strict Muslim country operating under Sharia Law and they don’t care who dies or what individual liberties must be trampled on to achieve their global vision.  For the people who have jumped against Donald Sterling and support massive feminism in American society, or stand against the history of The United States slavery issues, and wish to advocate civil rights for all people in every corner of the world, these young girls in Nigeria need help.  But none is coming.  Their parents have been pooling their money together to conduct a search to locate their daughters but the region is so poor that buying a tank of gas to operate a motorcycle costs a small fortune.  So the parents of the girls are helpless losing their children to the vast evils of Sharia Law.

If I were in Snoop Dog’s social position, or George Soros, Bill Gates or any progressive billionaire claiming to really care about civil rights issues, feminism, or slavery, I’d be organizing right now a mercenary group to go into Nigeria and rescue the little girls from their slave trade masters.  After all, Ross Perot did something like that when he rescued his own employees from Iran who were arrested on suspicion of bribery.  It’s been done before—and could certainly use the same kind of American boldness now.  The book talking about that Iranian case was called On Wings of Eagles and was published in 1983.  The story was made into a miniseries in 1986 and starred Burt Lancaster who played the real life role of a retired United States Army officer who organized the EDS employees into mercenaries to sneak into Iran and rescue their own people from harm.

As bold as Snoop Dog talked regarding Donald Sterling it would seem he’d be the first to organize a rescue mission to Nigeria to save those little girls from their attackers.  Why not pass the hat around to his Hollywood friends to cover the cost of organizing a mercenary group to go into Nigeria, attack Boko Haram and return the girls to their families so that they don’t have to become sex slaved wives to radical Muslims ruining their lives until the end of time.  Anyone who supports women rights and a world without racism should be able to get behind this effort.  I have my passport right next to me and would gladly join in an effort with George Soros and the Hollywood elite if they wanted to send mercenaries to Nigeria since it is obvious that no government on earth is capable of dealing with the situation.

But nobody will take me up on the suggestion.  Nobody in the entire world even though many people quite capable of funding such a thing will read this article—they’ll shake their head, and will move on to something else plagued with inaction.  Most people, most feminists, most race baiters, most civil rights advocates and progressive spawns are hypocrites who know not what they demand of society.  They have not thought things through to their natural conclusions.    Any supporter of a one world government and open boarders for all needs to be concerned about this Nigerian situation because this is what they want to see in America.  In their attack against American capitalism, they too hope that someday soon a tank of gas will cost four chickens and a mule—which in Nigerian currency might as well be a fortune.  Nigeria’s problems today will be American problems tomorrow.  So why not help them now in their hour of need, because if America doesn’t—specifically billionaires who support progressive causes, nobody else will help those little girls and their fate will be a lot worse than the members of the L.A Clippers NBA team or Stinviano who had sex many times with an 80-year-old man purely for money.  The poor girls in Nigeria won’t even get paid to do far worse with the Muslim radicals who will cut off their noses and lips in less than a second if they believe they are honoring Sharia Law with their stolen brides taken at gun point.

The world sits and talks tough about equal rights for all—yet they don’t even lift a finger to help people who really do need it.  They’ll call me a sexist because I think women should stay home with their children and actually raise them—because I believe motherhood is the most important job in the world.   They’ll call Donald Sterling an ignorant racist because of private conversations leveled jealously at a girlfriend 50 years his junior who has the intellectual capacity of a box of dry cereal.  A billionaire destroyed by a mixed race woman just because of progressive posturing, but when it comes to destroying a real villain, like Boko Haram—nobody does anything but talk.

That is shameful…………………………….  The world is in desperate need of courage.  Reports are that the girls are being raped up to 15 times a day, and it’s now been several weeks.  Justice needs to be done.  A rescue mission could likely be done for under $10 million.  Any takers?  Watch all these videos, particularly the On Wings of Eagles movie.  Then decide what you are willing to do.

“Dude, That Was Like Two Years Ago”: What is behind the White House kids

To kids like Tommy Vietor, two years ago is a large part of their life.  However, for anybody over 40, two years ago is only a small amount of time and a fraction of their existence on earth.  I don’t know how the Obama administration ever thought giving a kid who looks like he’s 14 or 15 years old so much power in The White House was a good idea but nevertheless Tommy Vietor was in the situation room the night of the Benghazi attack.  When the recent news broke that The White House was directly connected to a cover-up of the Benghazi story, Vietor actually came on Fox News to attempt to spin the conversation on the Bret Baier, World News Tonight program.  The reality of the situation set in once the smooth talking kid was painted into a corner by Baier when Vietor actually said, “Dude, this was like two years ago.”  At that point the spin doctor had lost his credibility and the deeper roots of the scandal were revealed.  Obama and his team at The White House attempted to cover-up the Benghazi story to get re-elected and now they are caught.

This is what people like me have been saying all along, only our voices were ignored as we were told that the information from the investigation was “old news.”  We were told that any method of investigation into the Benghazi matter was a partisan witch hunt that was not good for the country, and that it was driven by crazed radicals who were inherently uncomfortable with the skin color of a sitting president.  Out of guilt, many conservatives didn’t press the issue any further even though their primary political rival in the future was at the heart of the case, and people actually died during the debacle—and the issue was covered up during a presidential campaign—that if the results had been released earlier America would not have Barack Obama as president.  Even with all those conditions present, Benghazi was covered up by many people including the national security spokesman Tommy Vietor.

If the evidence is not clear to what extent established politicians will attempt to go so to preserve their jobs, then the Benghazi tragedy will never make it easier.  There was a direct cover-up more treacherous than the Watergate scandal that occurred during a presidential race where people actually lost their lives and if justice cannot be found over this case—it can’t be found for any.  America should not have Barack Obama as a president—because he obtained that position through deceit.  His administration lied to the American people to preserve his political presence.  America should not have Hillary Clinton to worry about in 2016 as her career should be over due to her ineptitude over the Benghazi affair.  Instead, The White House actually hired children to present their case to the public because they knew that older people would not be so willing to be spokesman for direct lies as more mature experienced candidates would have too much knowledge to attempt such audacious lies under one of the most critical scandals in American history.

It is 100% conclusive that The Whites House engaged in a cover-up, and that it used naive kids lacking worldly knowledge to conceal their plot.  Tommy Vietor looks like he’s still a teenager, but he had the ability to speak in a sophisticated fashion giving the illusion of worldly knowledge which epitomizes the goals of the Obama administration clearly.  However, when pressed with the facts, Vietor resorted to the language of his age—“Dude, that was two years ago.”

The Obama administration from the fall of 2012 to the present has been declaring that Benghazi was a thing of the past.  And they have used children to advance that logic where literally two years ago in their young lives is a long time.  But for the rest of the world, two years is just enough time to get the facts uncovered objectively—in spite of a massive media cover-up unwilling to admit to themselves that their beloved Obama is a deceitful insurgent intent on remaking America into their socialist utopia.  These people lied and they all deserve to be punished with a minimum of ejection from American office.  Obama’s administration among its many crimes is also guilty of child abuse in that they have hid their crimes behind children right out of college—still too stupid and unable to grasp large world views exploiting them for Presidential preservation.  Behind Tommy Vietor’s “dude” statement is a mountain of concealed revelations that will now come forth which not even smart-mouthed teenagers can dress up to shake reality from.

This is the reason that Obama, and Clinton liked to exploit young people in their administrations hungry for career advancement and résumé padding.  Not only are young people nicer to look at, but they are more prone to advancing a corrupt political agenda as they have yet to gain enough wisdom through living to decipher scandal from honor.  To them protecting the objective takes the highest precedent, not getting to the truth of the Benghazi matter.  Young people trained recently with the type of socialism taught in colleges are ripe for exploitation from the Obama types in the world and behind all these more obvious scandals is the one involving the exploitation of young people for personal gain.  A kid like Vietor should never have a job like he had in The White House at such a tender age because underneath all the slick Saul Alisnky double-talk is still a child who resorts back to a playground argument when pressed, “dude, that was like two years ago.”  Tommy Vietor sounds like a child who got caught peeking at his best friends mom through a crack in a bathroom door and is trying to shake off that memory before a big date during his senior year in high school.  “Stop bringing that up, I was like a sophomore back then—now I’m all grown up—and like a senior.”  Only in this case we’re not talking about some old lady’s boobs, but the dead bodies and botched management of Americans under attack by terrorists.

We were lied to, the proof is now before us—and it will be up to the adults to take charge of our country from the cult like Obama youth who from the very beginning were intent to lie, cheat, and manipulate any fact about any matter to protect the President from his own stupidity.  Their result has given America a parade of scandals and a president who should not be running a nation that couldn’t afford four more years of Obama debacles to begin with.  Upon detection of the administration ineptitude they relied on inexperienced young people to advance their Democratic agenda.  And it worked until they were caught, and Tommy Vietor certainly was.  Now there is no going back.  The president can only receive the kind of treatment at the very least that Nixon did—because his actions were far, far worse.  The only difference is that Obama didn’t record it on tape; he used young people like Tommy Vietor to preserve the storyline so that he could achieve the highest office in the world and pardon himself from public scrutiny with “executive privilege”

The Last Chance to Fire John Boehner: Two challengers lose their jobs

Two days ago I wrote about J.D. Winteregg’s termination from his teaching job at a Christian college due to his challenge of John Boehner—the current Speaker of the House in the 2014 primary. Boehner in interviews makes it appear that he is just a common man in uncommon circumstance that does not care for the glory of high political office. Yet his actions defy such unassuming posturing. John Boehner and the people who want something from him in the form of machine politics want to keep him in power and they will literally do anything to keep challengers from jeopardizing Boehner’s congressional seat.

The Daily Caller exclusively reported Monday April 28th that Boehner’s tea party primary challenger J.D. Winteregg was fired from his job as an adjunct professor at Ohio’s Cedarville University for running an anti-Boehner campaign ad accusing the speaker of “Electile Dysfunction.” Winteregg is challenging Boehner in the district’s May 6 Republican primary.

But Winteregg is not the first Boehner challenger to lose his employment while on the campaign trail.

Justin Coussoule, a West Point graduate and former army captain working as a purchasing manager for Cincinnati-based consumer products manufacturer Procter & Gamble in Ohio suffered a similar fate when he ran against Boehner as a Democrat in 2010. Coussoule fired from his job for taking on the veteran lawmaker.

“In Justin’s case he was faced with resignation or termination from Procter & Gamble. They were surprised that anyone would want to run against John Boehner because he had been, as they said, so good for their business,” Alliea Phipps, Coussoule’s 2010 campaign manager, told The DC.

A vice president of government relations at Procter & Gamble took Coussoule out for coffee after he first decided to run against Boehner, and pressured him not to do it.

This kind of activity is not the role of business. If a business is truly good, they should not be concerned about injecting themselves into the political process. In the case of Winteregg, and Coussoule each coming from different party backgrounds, they had their livelihoods taken from them just because they challenged the political establishment. The message has been clear, either vote for the progressive machine representative of the Republican Party, or lose your ability to make a living—which runs counter to everything America is supposed to be.

Boehner has spent a lot of money on this primary campaign to continue holding his seat. He would not spend that money if there wasn’t a chance that Winteregg could oust him. All the political pundits predict Winteregg is not a threat and in the end, he probably isn’t—because of situations like what has been described here. In modern business, there is certainly peer pressure to back certain candidates because often those companies give money to certain politicians in hopes of buying off their regulatory tendencies. Business should not have to engage in such a thing—but they do. They will fight to protect their investments even to the extent of preventing candidates like Coussoule from participating in the election process as a rival.

For those who scream for democracy these terminations of political rivals is an unabashed threat to the will of the people. For people who understand that the natural discourse of democracy is to migrate into socialism and instead regard a Republic as the superior government, the attacks against Winteregg and Coussoule is even worse. The threat of losing a job is an attack of a challenger’s livelihood and the intent behind the action is to steer political support in the direction of institutional control—not the will of individual voters.

Years ago it was common practice for supervisors at companies participating in United Way campaigns to strong-arm their employees for weekly donations. At that time I worked at Cincinnati Milacron and every year I was paraded into the office of my supervisor and given a lecture with the expectation that the guilt would coax me into donating for the charity organization. Of course “The Mill” wanted the political relief of a 100% contribution from their employees to brag about within the business and political circles that it was concerned with—so the supervisors were expected to use peer pressure against the employees to get “voluntary contributions.”

It was understood that if an employee didn’t give a donation, that they would be listed by the supervisor as a “troubled employee.” Overtime opportunities would go to United Way contributors before they’d go to those who refused to give, and if there was a layoff, the first targets would be those who did not give to the United Way. There was never an intention during these campaigns to know the real charity desires of employees, the goal was to force through peer pressure compliance to the company goal.

The same peer pressure goes on over a massive scale when it comes to political contributions. The punishments are not layoffs or lack of overtime opportunities, but regulations that come their way if they fail to support a particular candidate—or take a political position that is contrary to the orthodox acceptance of the general business community. In the case of John Boehner’s district, there isn’t a potential Democrat who could even think of running in what is likely one of the most conservative bastions of a district in The United States. Boehner has so much power and is so entrenched in the Republican Party that he now has celebrity status and if a businessman wants to be considered for an important new contract, or wants relief from government regulation, they learn to give some of their money to the political machine in charge.

In case of the Winteregg, and Coussoule their employers took the extra step of actually terminating them for challenging the political establishment. The behavior is the same as the company who punishes a worker for not participating in United Way campaigns. The method of achieving consensus within the party is force, and manipulation. The genuine emotions of the electorate are not desired—only conformity to the established party and its members.

John Boehner is not Speaker of the House and the third most powerful person in the world because he is the best person for the job, but because he has the political high ground that can destroy the lives of any potential challengers to his grip on power. Boehner is the first person to say that he is not a power-hungry detriment to the human race—yet he is willing to fight with much more vigor to hold his seat than he ever did against Barack Obama’s takeover of healthcare, and the various budget crises occurring during his watch. Boehner is the top Republican because people who might otherwise challenge him were eliminated from contention. The “Party” doesn’t care who is destroyed in the process, so long as the system of politics that they control remains in power—and that is a lesson that Winteregg, and Coussoule share in common that transcends their individual politics.

In Winteregg’s case there is still time to correct the John Boehners of the world by voting for the young victim instead and firing the Speaker from his job for a change. That power is still in the hands of the voters which is the reason behind the intimidation. Voters are coerced to vote for Boehner, they are not trusted to make their own decisions. And the history behind Boehner goes further than these two names which is all the reason that changes should take place. If Boehner were truly the best man for the job—nobody would try to eliminate his competition. Instead, they have, and they have been successful—at least twice.

The Lakota Headhunters: Band fans turn against the school board

Like headhunters about to cook a captured enemy supporters of longtime Lakota West High School Band Director Greg Snyder showed up at a school board meeting demanding an explanation for his suspension. Their effort was tribal at best and displayed an uneasy byproduct of the ultra levy supporters of Lakota—creations of that same school board designed to pass higher taxes so to increase a revenue stream directly into the mouths of their teacher’s union. The natives turned against the school board when disciplinary necessity was demanded upon one of their own. Greg Snyder was suspended on April 16 and agreed to resign following an investigation that revealed he received unethical compensation for personal gain, and the band fans at Lakota wanted the issue ignored with the same kind of activism that is common among pro public education radicals—a collective display as though their unified input could change the reality of deceit for which Snyder was in trouble to begin with.

http://www.journal-news.com/news/news/lakota-community-reacts-to-band-directors-suspensi/nfkhN/

Those same tribal malcontents even took a page out of my book and started their own blog—announcing their actions ahead of time. Again, their belief indicates that they wish to alter reality with mass protest and activist support of their beloved teacher. Parents of this kind represent everything that is wrong with the public education system and in their own way government in general. In the Snyder case they are behaving like Washington lobbyists working K-Street for their small section of the political pie. At Lakota there are radicals for the band program, radicals for the art programs, radicals for the football program, radicals for virtually every extracurricular program the tax funded school offers—and they all expect special treatment—especially when impropriety is discovered.   Have a look at their site for yourself—it is quite revealing.

http://supportlakotabands.com/

What these radicals of public education never indicate is what is really behind their motive. In the case of these band supporters—as it is with most government school radicalism, they are driven by guilt and the peril to them is very real. Since they have squandered themselves in most cases and surrendered their children’s future to people like Greg Snyder hoping that musical futures are on the horizon for their offspring—the threat of that investment losing value for them becomes all too real when trouble is discovered. Instead of doing the work of teaching their children themselves, they pawn that task off to a Lakota teacher then expect magical results. For them when their children are invited to the Macy’s Parade as a representative of Lakota’s famed band by the highly respected Greg Snyder—their dreams of being good parents are fulfilled and they gush with pride because of the experience. For them such experiences are the culmination of years of sacrifice—of social climbing so that they could earn enough money to buy a home in an area like the Lakota school district and send their children to teachers like Snyder.

The reality of impropriety within that system is simply too great for them to understand, so they ignore the evidence to preserve their illusion. What they perceive to be good parenting is literally all rolled up into building up this grand illusion against reality—and when it comes crashing down, they are dumbfounded like the aforementioned headhunters gazing up at an airplane flying overhead and thinking that it is some kind of god. Their mentality is that of a primitive. They are creations of that same school board encouraged to activism so long as it serves the collective institutional aim of revenue enhancement. When that activism turns on the headhunters of Lakota all the school board members can do is nod in appeasement and smile with sympathy. The levy passed, and the radicalism of those same supporters had already done its job for the good of Lakota.

Too late the band supporters learned that their activism was not wanted or appreciated unless it directly served the needs of the collective whole. The system of Lakota does not care about them, their children, or Greg Snyder. It only cares for Snyder so long as he can take Lakota to the Macy’s Parade and other high-profile venues. Once his usefulness is complete, the collective system of Lakota will discard him and his supporters the way a wonderful meal might be appreciated upon eating it, but once the digestion has taken place it leaves the body uneventfully, and unceremoniously to be flushed away from our eyes and noses.

What often is lost in these cases are the children. The kids usually join these band groups to make their parents happy, to see them proudly watching from the stands during a football game. Kids just want the love of their parents—but often the parents mistakenly believe that love comes from collective experience instead of their direct input. Such mistakes feed the false importance of people like Greg Snyder who are used by the Lakota school board to generate public relations support for their revenue streams of taxation. The children are used by the parents to make their lives seem meaningful—to make all their decisions as adults justified. The school uses the children for the same purpose—but from the other end to achieve community consensus. Once those school days are complete the children enter their post education years empty husks perpetually looking for a way to fill a void in their lives that they can never quite identify. Their lives away from their parents are never quite satisfactory, and without people like Greg Snyder, they are often lost—and depressed because they never learned self-reliance. They were used as teenagers, and as young adults are empty and often directionless.

Headhunters particularly in the South Pacific cultures believed that by consuming the body of an enemy, that the spirit of that enemy would become incorporated in the body of the cannibal. To a large extent, even Native American cultures believed such things—which is why they had elaborate dances to pay tribute to the spirit of the animals they consumed for their sustenance. Like those primitive cultures which progressives have so much reverence for, the band supporters of Lakota believe that the spiritual leaders of the band have power to enrich their children with magical prosperities if only they attend their class. The school board was happy to popularize that myth so that the public would support school levies and give them money to throw at the cannibals of their teacher’s union. But in the end, the lives of the children are simply consumed by all the headhunters involved in public education, especially the ones who protested with cult like reverence the Lakota school board over the Greg Snyder case. The headhunters believe that the fates of their children are attached to a Lakota deity who can magically whisk their children away to New York to perform on Thanksgiving Day, and give them a future that they as parents cannot provide on their own. But in the end, they discover too late that all that Lakota could do for them was taking their money and use their children as sacrifices to the gods of speculative success.

Dr. Duke Pesta’s Speech on Common Core: Public education is dangerous and detrimental to children

I recently wrote an article about a popular band teacher at my school district of Lakota who is in trouble, and many of his supporters came to his defense, angry at me.  CLICK HERE TO REVIEW. Read the comments there to see what I’m talking about.  The teachers and the parents who supported the band teacher are simply malfunctioning humans who have been programmed incorrectly through progressive educations, and the more I hear from them, the angrier I get at modern public education.  I am 100% convinced that public schools are DETRIMENTAL to the American way of life, and it is clearly on purpose.  The proof is all around us, it’s not even hidden.  I hate public education because it is run by the state—the federal government should not be involved in a capitalist society’s education, and it is purposely dumbing down the students so to attack the premise of capitalism in America.  For proof I submit the following video which is a two-hour lecture about the dangers of Common Core by Dr. Duke Pesta.  Why am I angry at public education…………………watch the video at the 1 hour 10 minute mark.  You will see it clearly.

Teacher unions are radical organizations committed deeply to the progressive transformation of society.  Even good teachers who know this keep their mouths shut because the unions give these employees high rates of pay that they wouldn’t get at Wal-Mart—which most of them are only qualified to do as far as productive equivalency standards are concerned.    The money teachers make is hush money while they accept progressive transformation methods driven by communism to destroy American capitalism.  I would not hate public education if they taught young people how to make money, create a good work ethic and expand the influence of capitalism throughout the world. Instead, public schools sponsored by the federal government is at war with capitalism and are fully open in their support of socialism and that makes government schools enemies of the state.

The commenters on my article referred above do not wish to accept this—just as you dear reader are having difficulty with what I am saying right now.  Yet I have never been surer of something than I am that public education institutions are hell-bent as a unified organization on destroying the minds of children and their families into a collective whole where group consensus rules over logic.  For anybody who has tried to hire an American worker, the results of three decades of idiotic teaching methods are in.  Where farms used to produce good hard-working young men and women who could be relied upon and an occasional loafer would sometimes be seen, the trend now is that such hard workers built within public schools is rare—almost nonexistent and the loafers are everywhere.  The work ethic of the modern American is terrible and they are not motivated to improve because their minds have been ground into mush during their public school days by progressive institutional instruction.

The situation is so bad that I didn’t even want my daughters to date American boys when they were teenagers.  So many young men, not necessarily of their fault—are just douchebags, scummy, smelly, drunkards proud of their lack of sophistication.  The young men learned this behavior in their public school culture which promotes stupidity.  I was so serious about this problem that my oldest daughter actually married a young man from England who grew up with socialism but came from a good family that still believed a little in traditional value.  There are good young men still out there, but they are hard to find and women are struggling to locate them.  The situation is technically the biggest contemporary crises of our time yet it is also one of the most ignored because most people exploring these topics are guilty of being the douchebags.

The point of Common Core as exhibited in the video by Dr. Pesta is to perpetuate the false belief, the Kantian philosophic theme that belief by the many can shape the reality of the whole.  God forbid when these young Common Core students try to build a bridge with the mathematics that doesn’t allow stacking numerical values but symbols and belief.  If a consensus of the majority believes that 4 + 4 = 40062, then who are we as individuals to question the reality of that proposition.  That is the public school way—the instruction is not to learn that the value of two groups of four add together to give eight, but that value is a relative term.  Under that belief system, good is relative and so is bad.  Is it any wonder that so many people have lost their way these days?  Is it a mystery that Ohio government cannot build a bridge into Kentucky any longer along the I-75 corridor through Cincinnati—because public schools have taught that no action can be made until there is a group consensus—and government is awaiting action until that consensus is reached.  Until then all parties will be mired in stagnation.

American business is plagued presently with this very debacle.  It is extraordinarily difficult to find any member of a business transaction willing to make a decision—even easy ones.  Fear of overregulation, lawyers, and just general responsibility have created in America a trend where the spineless run everything and they are as numerous as the stars in a desert night sky.  The occasional bold, decisive, decision maker on the other hand is as rare as a four leafed clover in the middle of a Pentagon parking lot.  That fault is the education system which taught everyone involved–public education which is teaching the kind of crap seen in the video by Dr. Pesta.

Stupid people don’t often look in the mirror and declare that they are faulty products of bad mental programming which started when they were 5 years old when they entered a public school.  It is only over age 55 when their bodies are in rapid decline, their marriages are in a shambles, their children are idiots and their own parents are dead when the realization hits them hard.  At that point they take up golf to find some peace on the vast greens of Americana, or maybe take up a young mistress, gamble their life away in a casino, or join a Tea Party and try to correct a lifetime of errors.  They do this because they reason that they only have thirty years of their life left to them—but its often too late.  Public schools made them into idiots and 50 years or more of such behavior cannot be erased with a few good deeds.  Just like the Common Core math, a few good things done does not cancel out thousands of stupid decisions, like getting drunk at frat parties in college, or being a loser in their careers and being happy with it, or dropping their children off at a public school and surrendering them to the progressive teachers who want to radically change society into a communist utopia.

I hate public education because of what it has done to over 300 million people who would otherwise be better off without the creation of the Department of Education.  It’s not hatred of learning, but because of a love of it that I hate government-run education which is insisting on Common Core and the nightmare shown in Dr. Duke Pesta’s video.  No civilization including America will survive long taught the methods currently popular in public education.  And wishing for a different outcome by the group consensus of over 300 million people does not make my opinion about it wrong.  In the end anybody who wants success in their life and their children will have to come to the same realization that I have, and Common Core math will not make the medicine go down any easier once that realization hits.  People may get mad, but the reality won’t change because they have achieved “consensus” and determined that they are correct.  The actuality of their circumstances will say otherwise and they will not like the results.

Kelly Kohls for State Senate of the 7th District: Taking the stink bugs out of the State House–starting with Shannon Jones

Collectivists are a dangerous species in that they are like bugs specifically Halyomorpha halys–brown marmorated stink bugs.  This year for whatever reason stink bugs are popping up everywhere and whenever I see one in my home, I take it outside to free it, but also to get it out of my house.  But there are so many of them that even though I could crush one of the little bugs with little effort, the creatures can ultimately consume my time as I try to address each one of them individually.  The labor unions, political party driven insurgents, and other progressive groups have had a target on my friend Kelly Kohls for a long time.   She has put herself out there pushing for real change especially on the education front—and has drawn a lot of stink bugs into her life.  One of those stink bugs—Shannon Jones in a close alliance with the Governor John Kasich and the Republican Party in Ohio have looked at Kelly’s primary challenge of Jones’ Senate seat and come directly after the former Springboro School Board President using the same tactics progressive groups have used against her in the past—a bankruptcy filing.  Of course this action comes straight out of the Republican Party to defend their grip on power at any cost.  So Kelly wanted to get her message out and answer Jones’ accusations—and of course I helped her.  I take the stink bugs out of my house without killing them—but I also intend to do the same thing with all the progressives and weak-kneed politicians in Columbus and Washington, and Shannon Jones and her John Kasich boot licking ways needs to be carried outside where they can no longer stink up the place with apathy and inaction.   Here is Kelly’s message one week before the primary challenge for Jones’ seat on May 6th 2014.

Progressives thought it was outrageous that Kelly Kohls even had a mortgage of $829,000 on a $450,000 home—and that her bankruptcy was a sign of fiscal recklessness.  This is because most of Kelly’s harshest critics are those who work for government and make great salaries doing almost nothing.  Learning how to accept progressive causes into their lives preserves their incomes.  They don’t start businesses or deal with money-making opportunities.  They simply take money so to progressives, it is a mystery as to where money comes from—and they believe it to be finite.  They emphasize the large sums of money to point out that Kelly is operating above the average norm for the “middle class” which was a term created by labor unions.

However, Kelly has five kids and most of them have gone to college by now.  Kelly herself holds a doctorate so a lot of money has been spent in the Kohls family on education and college these days is a $50K to $100K enterprise.  So Kelly hasn’t been spending money hanging out at Jags buying $300 meals every night for her friends—she’s been getting her education, putting her kids through college, and starting entrepreneurial enterprises.  All that together easily adds up to a million dollars when you try to do all those things in the same fiscal decade.  Since progressives get most of what they want in life by begging, mooching, and looting—they don’t understand Kelly Kohls—but I do, and have no problem at all standing with her in a run for State Senate.

I know how the name calling game works and 90% of what is said derogatory about Kelly Kohls is of that variety.  I have been married for a long time; my wife is a “house-wife” in the traditional sense.  She makes herself 100% available to my grown children and now grandchildren and she is proud to be the kind of mom that the television show Leave It to Beaver would have recognized in his home.  For my traditional views on family life, my disdain for feminism as a progressive movement, and a belief that all children need a strong mother in the home guiding a family to prosperity, I have been labeled a sexist because most everyone in existence is doing things wrong in their families in my opinion—and these names came at me well before I called the PTA moms at Lakota “latte sipping prostitutes with asses the size of car tires and diamond rings to match.”  The name calling was already going on well before—I simply wasn’t going to play the game for the “good of the community” or any group which I was a spokesman for.  The personal attacks were designed to change my behavior just like the stink bug infestation can overwhelm you if allowed.

Kelly doesn’t share all my views, she is certainly an A type personality and that can rub other A type personalities the wrong way, but she shares with me a love of tradition and commitment to spirituality.  If she doesn’t want to cook meals for her husband and await him at the door with his slippers and a newspaper that is her business within her family and I’m alright with it.  It’s a decision she has to make between her husband and her.  It certainly wouldn’t stop me from voting for her for State Senator of the 7th District.  Are women equal to men?  Most of the time women are better—on intellectual matters especially.  But men are built for heavy lifting both physically and emotionally—and this is why traditional roles had men and women separating their tasks in such a way.  The man came home and was recharged by his wife for the next day’s battles.  However, politics is an intellectual pursuit, and in it Kelly Kohls is less prone to corruption, deals, and peer pressure than a John Kasich type because of her intellectual aptitude.

Shannon Jones is not as directed as Kelly is.  She allowed herself to be steered into proposing the Senate Bill 5 controversy to drastically pull back the power of public sector unions in Ohio.  When that bill was repealed Jones and Kasich retreated into progressive pandering and Obamacare Medicaid expansion.  Shannon went right along with the party line whatever it was and did not think for herself—so she needs to be carried outside with all the other stink bugs and set free from the State House.  Kelly is much better equipped intellectually, and spiritually to do the job of Senator of the 7th District.

I’ve known Kelly for quite a while and one thing that she is at her very core is something that I recognize as being the highest quality there is for a woman—she is a mom first and everything else second.  Kelly has been a political activist and political contributor now that her children are grown because she wishes to bring her nurturing tendencies to the State of Ohio instead of just her home.  My wife has no such desires—but she is not an A type personality like Kelly and I.  Progressives have created the modern definitions for womanhood and like their fiscal policies—they are all wrong and are ruining the lives of everyone who follows them.  The real roles of traditionalist, conservatives, and men and women is far more complicated than the progressive stink bugs can wrap their minds around and that is not Kelly’s problem—nor mine.

Kelly and her husband filed for bankruptcy trying to make things happen—the way they were supposed to.  But the business climate changed on them leaving them hanging over the edge of a cliff for which they were dropped.  The bankruptcy laws in America were created to encourage investment risk because that is the requirement of capitalism.  Government workers do not take risks, they figure out whose boots they have to lick—and they do so to protect their jobs and keep the tax money flowing into their pockets.  They don’t typically try to start businesses, they don’t typically take responsibility for raising their own children—they send them off to public school to have the task done for them—and they certainly don’t take risks.  Kelly Kohls has, and now she is doing it again going after an established Senator in Shannon Jones during the May 6th primary.  And for that risk, the stink bugs are attacking her with that terrible odor they emit, which the media is happy to play off of.

Kelly simply wants to take the stink bugs out of the State House one by one starting with Shannon Jones.  Of course they won’t like it, but they don’t have a choice.  Republicans and Democrats functioning from progressive politics are stinking up Columbus and they need to be removed so that order can be brought to our Houses of Legislation.  And that is the essence of Kelly’s run against Shannon Jones.  Kelly is a mother taking care of her house and her family.  Only her care extends out to the State of Ohio and all the people in it who just want a shot at the American Dream.   To some Kelly is an education crusader, to others she is a combative “A” type personality that wants to be in charge.  To others she is a fiscally reckless overlord who lives above the “middleclass.”   To others still she is a threat to the Republican Party and even more dangerous to Democrats.  But I know her as a mother who cares the way all mothers do.  She sees Ohio as her family and she wants to fight to do what’s right for it.  And for her the best way to take care of her family is to remove the stink bugs from the State House which is why she is running for a Senate seat and why the establishment Republicans are terrified.

Assault on Imdaar Alpha: Hope for mankind’s future in tabetop gaming

My regular readers usually don’t give articles like this one much notice—but often I gain new ones who aren’t specifically interested in philosophy or politics.  However, I would recommend for everybody to consider this topic because of the vast reach and scope of it which will conclude with an article tomorrow about gambling.  There is a changing paradigm of social behavior which is unmistakable and positive and deserves some attention.  We spend a lot of time complaining about the effects of long-established social causes, but seldom identify new causes before they take hold and the effects they bring with them.

I have written as reference more than once my intense love of the new tabletop game Star Wars: X-Wing Miniatures.  To my view Fantasy Flight Games who produces that game is simply one of the best companies of its kind anywhere in the world.  Over this past week the new rules for their Epic Play formats was released and a good indication of the direction of the game was provided.  The much talked about Rebel Transport expansion shipped early from Barnes and Noble and within a week people like me who have had pre-orders out there for a while will receive their ships.  I can genuinely say that I am very excited about it.

Also a Wave 4 set of expansion ships is hitting at the start of June and Fantasy Flight Games is sponsoring a tournament as a chance to win first dibs on the lucrative new ships.  So I signed up to participate and realized quickly how vast this new game is across the world as I looked up the list of participating stores near my home.  It was actually quite astonishing to me because it allowed me to see just how popular this game is not just in The United States, but throughout the world.  You can see for yourself at the link below and preview some of the ships from Wave 4.  The participating countries are Belgium, Canada, France, Ireland, Romania, Slovakia, The United Kingdom, and The United States.  And we’re not talking about just a few stores; each country has dozens if not hundreds of participating stores.  Just in Cincinnati for instance, there are two not counting additional stores in Dayton and Columbus.  So getting into the tournament called Assault on Imdaar Alpha is not difficult.

I had a particularly rough series of days this past week and to calm down I found myself shuffling through the game cards that I have for X-Wing Miniatures thinking about the squad that I wanted to enter into the upcoming tournament.  I found in the cards a soothing quality which made sense to me.  The pilot rating cards clearly establish the value of that particular character and the overall mythology of Star Wars plays largely in the context of how each ship is used under different circumstances.  But the operative word was value—it was refreshing to look at a card from Fantasy Flight Games and establish the value of a game character with the stats presented.

I pretty much picked my squad for the tournament, but the experience of doing it was actually relieving because of the exercise of value associated with the task.  Others across the world are doing the same thing for the same reasons.  The reason this is important is because of the modern trend pushed in public schools throughout the world has attempted to present this ideal that all people are equal no matter what their effort is, their skill, and all associated characteristics.  We know now in hindsight that this desire for equality is a task perpetuated by communists for years and this is how such a thing came to our public schools.  Yet society is rejecting such notions through their art—their movies, their reading material, and especially in the games they play.

The X-Wing Miniatures game is not just an American game, although it is an American invention.  It is growing in popularity enormously since I first started writing about it, and is about to explode.  For years I have watched with a level of suspicion how gamers played Magic the Gathering and other types of games with great intensity.  I knew that the reason they did such a thing was because the fantasy of the game was something that was more appealing than the options presented in real life.  I never enjoyed card games and board games much—especially games like Poker because of their association with gambling—which I personally despise.  But I do love stories and mythology and I see these new games which were just being invented when I was a kid with Dungeons and Dragons, quickly taking over the old games—which is good.

I have often listened for hours the broadcasts of the Cincinnati Reds and wondered how many grown adults found the stats of the baseball players so endlessly fascinating yet turned around and supported socialism in their workplaces, their education institutions, and even their families.  Each game in baseball is pretty meaningless in the context of plot—yet broadcasters have found ways to make every game sound compelling.  I have also watched for years gamblers obsessed with horse racing, dog racing, NASCAR racing and willing to spend their entire paychecks on a gamble as to who will win and how.  I now see that changing among the new generations—starting with my age group on down.

This new form of gaming is centered on mythology.  Each game of X-Wing Miniatures forces players to embark in a kind of story during their play.  The value of the cards drive the dialogue—for instance a typical squad build for me is one called within the gaming community as a “Han Shoots First.”  It is because Han Solo has such a high pilot rating and typically gets to shoot first during the combat phase of game play.  This build involves the Millennium Falcon and one or two ships of lesser pilot value to provide wingman support. Just the construction of that build creates a storyline which must be played out, whereas in Poker or Blackjack there is only the value on the card which a player then uses to their advantage or not depending on circumstances.  In these new games the same thing is happening, but there is much more to it—mythology is a part of the experience and that driver of the drama in these stories is brought about because of values that must be attributed.

It is for this reason that I am absolutely salivating over the arrival of my huge Rebel Transport.  Just this past week Fantasy Flight Games published the new rules for using the “Huge Ships” in game play and after reading them I was immensely impressed.  X-Wing Miniatures is very interesting to play and it is ever evolving.  It literally changes every three months and this seems to be the appeal of these new games over the old ones.  Check out some of those rules for yourself at the following link:

The reason that Baseball is declining in America is because the new generations cannot relate to it.  The game is too slow and the plots of the game do not provide an entertainment value that can compete with games like Magic the Gathering and now X-Wing Miniatures.  While baseball a few years ago looked the other way to allow Mark McGuire and Sammy Sosa to fight it out with a season long steroid driven home run derby, the passion for the game really didn’t exceed beyond the borders of The United States.  Japan took to the drama, but really, nobody else could relate.   However in just a year, Fantasy Flight Games has published a game that has people lining up for weekend long tournaments all over the world—and it isn’t just because a movie which is three decades old is so popular, but because players can immerse themselves in a storyline that reflects their values.  The very act of playing such a game is an exercise of identifying value—and this translates directly to the real world.

Most of the people who play X-Wing Miniatures are smart.  They love to think.  The whole premise of such a game is to think.  It’s not based on random luck, or the hope that a passive third-party will be successful and garner victory for the bet placer, X-Wing Miniatures is all about participating in a mythology that is very similar to reading—but exists in a kind of in-between world where the storyline is the responsibility of the players.  Players are responsible for making their own drama, their own stories—and the stories are value driven.  In order to be successful, players must learn to ascertain values.  This is a tremendous new element to recreational gaming.  The participants aren’t passive, but are in fact very active in that process which is why these games are so vastly popular.

It is why I sought those cards after a rough week; it is why people all over the world are looking forward to tournament play for the Wave 4 ships, and why people like me everywhere are watching their mailboxes for the new Rebel Transport.  Many of our modern problems are due to the fact that the games the previous generations played often put the burden of decision-making on randomness and passive participation—such as guessing the outcome of a gambling scenario be it horse racing or a roulette wheel.  Players of those types of games have also voted in their republics in the same manner—they have passively participated then grumbled when the results did not go in their favor. These new gamers, the X-Wing players are “active.”  By watching how this new Fantasy Flight Games invention has taken off—literally, the people who play that game will have a much different role in their future decision-making endeavors—such as how they vote, and who they vote for in democratic elections.  And it gives me assurance to know that the mistakes of the past will not proceed into the future which makes X-Wing players some of my favorite people anywhere.  Their numbers are likely already greater than those in any Tea Party activity and is expanding by the day.  They represent a new demographic that will approach the future with a new sophistication that simply wasn’t present at any point in the past prior to the 1970s.

In 1974 Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson first published Dungeons and Dragons and have since grown into over a billion dollars in sales.  It was the first tabletop strategic game of its kind.  Star Wars: X-Wing is the natural evolution of this gaming type and evidence that human beings in all their vast capacity to think and imagine—can actually create recreation to heal themselves—as a species.  Because that is what these games represent to me—healing—they bring to the human mind what it most desires, to think, to assess value, and to create their own storylines.  And I can’t think of anything more valuable than that—and I love to see that America is exporting to the rest of the world something that does such things in a positive and creative way.  I am really looking forward to the Assault on Imdaar Alpha.
