As of 9:45 on the evening of June 24th Lakota administrators had not called a vote for the most controversial issue of the meeting–whether or not they would attempt a tax increase on the fall ballot. When the last of the crowd had left for the evening in sheer boredom, only the school board members, Superintendent Mantia and a couple of levy addicts remained for the unanimous vote to consider a 5.5 mill levy. At that time of the night, Michael Clark of the Cincinnati Enquirer already had his article written, as it was due for the next day’s edition, so he had been given the details before the meeting by the administrators who deliberately held off the vote till the end of the night to avoid any controversy. The type of deception that took place at the school board meeting is just the tip of the iceberg in the district of Lakota, who like all public education institutions is top heavy with administration and well behind the times of how proper education should be conducted. In government schools the goal is to create government jobs and pay their employee salaries, not to care for children, and Lakota knowing that there would be push-back to their announcement, waited till everyone had left to make their grand proclamation, which was already printed up by the Cincinnati Enquirer before the meeting was half-way finished. That article read as follows:
The Lakota Board of Education voted unanimously Monday evening to place a combination operating levy and a permanent improvement tax on the Nov. 5 ballot.
Voters will decide on a 3.5-mill operating levy and a 2-mill permanent improvement levy combined into a single 5.5-mill school tax hike issue.
The board’s vote is the first of two required under Ohio law to place school tax issues on the ballot. Lakota officials have until Aug. 7 to file with ButlerCounty election officials for the Nov. 5 ballot.
If approved, the levy would cost an additional $168 annually in new school taxes on a $100,000 home.
Some of the 2-mill permanent improvement levy money would go to enhancing security at Lakota school buildings, including adding more cameras. Other funds would go to improving student technology.
The 3.5-mill operating levy would largely fund labor and other costs.
In a statement today, Lakota Superintendent Karen Mantia said approval of the combination levy would allow $6.3 million for upgraded security and $13.5 million for a multiyear technology upgrade program.
“Security has always been important,” Mantia said. “But unfortunately, with the world we live in now, we need to do even more.”
She added that the security spending would include tripling the number of police officers and sheriff’s deputies in Lakota schools, as well as physical changes to school buildings.
Lakota’s student and district network of technology needs updating, she said.
“We can use technology to be more effective and cost-efficient,” she said. “But we need the infrastructure in place to do that, and we’ve fallen far behind. It’s about building a network infrastructure that allows the district to use technology the way it should be used in a large organization.”
Read the rest of the article at the following link:
The article was just as deceitful as was the conditions from which the vote was conducted. Mantia stated that the levy a 2-mill permanent improvement levy would go to enhance security at Lakota school buildings, including adding more cameras. Other funds would go to improving student technology. The remaining 3.5 mill would go to fund the new teacher contract for the Lakota Education Association which expires in June of 2014. Attempting to capitalize on the recent fearful circumstances of school shootings, Mantia attempted to divert attention away from their horrendous management of school finances to declare that the new tax increase would make “children safer.” But Dan Varney, treasurer for NoLakota was quick to call out the ruse saying that “Lakota officials are “trying to exploit the Sandy Hook killings” by including a promise of spending more money on school security if the tax is approved.
“In December, a gunman killed 26 at the Sandy Hook Elementary in New Town, Conn. The shooting deaths of 20 children and six adult school staffers launched a nationwide examination of school security measures.
“That’s the security card they are playing and I’m sure that will be our position as the campaign moves forward,” said Varney.
As stated elsewhere, Lakota does not need more money. It has a consistent tax base that is already taxed too high. Yet Lakota’s employee demand is decreasing. Lakota needs to lay-off workers, not hire more, or even keep the ones they have. With the student enrollment decreasing every year for the next decade, Lakota schools will only need half their current school buildings before the close of the decade, primarily because the barrier to entry in the Lakota school district for families with school aged children is prohibitively high. Families with children won’t be buying used homes in Lakota, they will move into communities that have entry level starter homes. Increasingly the type of people who will live in the Lakota district are home owners without children in the district. And those people won’t be voting in favor of more taxes, especially for a school district that has no idea how to balance their budget.
Instead of playing things straight the Lakota administration attempted to use even more deceit to sneak the vote in favor of a new levy through once all the residents had gone home for the evening. The Enquirer had the article already written. All they had to do was wait for everyone to leave so there wouldn’t be any public record of any comments against them at the meeting. The attendance was light, as most of the residents at Lakota gave up a long time ago in believing that the school board has any control over the their finances, and the behavior of Lakota on June 24th, 2013 makes it clear why. The Lakota school board with their superintendent and other administrators cannot be trusted with little things, let alone, millions of dollars more just so they can avoid the hard decisions of laying-off their employees to match the declining student enrollment. And it is for that reason more than any other that the Lakota school system should be defunded to the maximum amount possible. Lakota as an organization is built on deceit, and are at best complicit of gross distortion of the facts in order to serve the whims of their teacher union and their employees who make a quarter million dollars a year for playing loose with the truth, and squeezing the community of its every last dime.
The cute picture of the little boy shown is of my grandson. That photo means more to me than just a sentimental moment of time captured by a gifted photographer at 9 months of age. Within that picture there were many contributors to the photograph, my daughter of course made the little boy with her husband, my wife made the white blanket by hand, and my other daughter took the picture in the back yard of the home that she owns with her husband. Virtually everyone in my immediate family played a part in that photograph. My imprint of course is that I put the gift of adventure in all those individuals, which is represented by the stack of books off to the side. That is what families are supposed to do and be for each other as the benefactors are little children like my grandson dressed in his little hat awaiting the tools of cognition to be put before his mind so that he too can live a life of adventure, discovering for himself all the potentialities that come from breathing air, and living life.
As another 4th of July came and went, I thought about my little grandson. When people wonder why I do some of the things I do, the first answer is because I want to. I enjoy fighting; debating, and philosophizing—pretty much in that order. But there is always a sub-plot in the back of my mind which drives me with purpose. When I was raising my children, it was fighting to make sure they tasted enough freedom and independent thought that they could grow up and live good lives. I have been successful in that. Now, it is the generation that comes after which I focus upon.
I have been an inspiration to many young people for many, many years. I still associate with many of those grown adults who looked as children toward someone to teach them how to be good people, how to face their fears, and live righteously. I have always offered myself in that role, even when I too was younger than they were. But there comes a benefit in living, surviving, and arriving at a time when not only you think you know more than everybody else, but you are sure of it. You know it because the reality around you has proven it time and time again. You don’t realize it because the intention is to be haughty, arrogant, or considered a God among men, but you just are because nobody else is trying.
Every child is born with the opportunity to become anything. Even children who are not genetically gifted or otherwise healthy have more potential in their minds than most living adults. For them their stories are not yet written and it makes me sad to see so many young children who don’t have adults to pour thoughts into their minds, to give them the ability to think on their own as young adults, and finally as grown adults. Most children the age of my grandson are doomed to a life of failure not because they lack any ability, but because they lack people in their lives that can help them develop into fully realized human beings.
My grandson will not have to worry about that. He has so many people in his life with very interesting traits of their own, that he has no choice but to pick up on those unique attributes while he forms his own character which is already evident. Looking at him it reminds me of what the 4th of July is all about. It’s why we fight to keep our country free so that little boys like my grandson can have the right to think and develop freely on their own, to bring their own unique gifts to the world. Someday, my grandson might decide that the bullwhip is not for him, but he will make that choice on his own, after he has had exposure to it and filled his mind with the value it brings to him through practice, and a bond with me, his grandmother, his aunt and uncle, and his mom and dad.
The fight for freedom is more than just a token message created by the Tea Party movement to hijack elected offices and become tomorrow’s tyrants through the desk of a bureaucrat. For me it is sincere, I believe in the things I say here with every cell in my body and beat of my heart. I believe in it for myself, and the joy it brings me in seeing the lights of freedom igniting in another human being, like the innocent eyes of my grandson, as it was captured so eloquently in the photograph my daughter took. I will teach his young mind in a way that was only available to my own daughters, but with the self-assuredness of having experience, to be a legend among mankind. When most people say they want their children and grandchildren to grow up to be lawyers, doctors, or God forbid—politicians, I frown at all those types of jobs. All of them are less than what I want for my grandson. I want for him to be a living legend, a character of such charisma, determination, and moral aptitude that there has never been another like him. Such a goal is a lofty one, but it’s what I will contribute to his mind with all our future time together. I can see the sparkle in his eye already, and soon, he will begin to take the form of a character unlike the world has ever seen.
And it will come from individuals like my daughter—his mother and her vast creativity, his aunt—my other daughter and her photographic genius and forward thinking vision, my two son-in-laws, one a former MMA fighter, the other a bullwhip champion in his own right, and my wife who reads hundreds of books a year, makes blankets for every member of our extended family, and is willing to spend countless hours on the floor playing with children. Then of course there are my contributions–in a few years I’ll have him jumping through walls of fire, cracking whips faster than lightning, crawling through caves that a snake couldn’t fit through and facing life with a fearlessness that every young man dreams of. Ladies and gentlemen viewing that picture—you are seeing a future legend that will know an unlimited life free of any shackles created by deficient human minds.
As I watched the fireworks on the 4th of July in 2013, that is what I thought of. And I will venture to make it so.
The other morning over breakfast my wife and I had a raging debate of mankind’s need and desire to behold simple “concepts,” as philosophy defines them. It is because of concepts that I occasionally detour away from the normally serious matter at this site and dwell in great detail about the nature of Hollywood movies and published books. In my private life I have two basic loves which drive me, a love of philosophy and the mythologies of thought which attempt to frame them to the human world through “concepts.” Most everything else I care about in life drips off the leaves of knowledge from those basic forms of art esthetically. The reason for the raging debate over breakfast with my wife was over the value of concepts in people’s lives versus a given morality. My wife values morality among mankind as the highest honor, even over the air she breaths. If she had to choose between morality and taking another breath, she would choose morality. However, my side of the debate declared that the ability to behold a “concept” of morality is far more important, because without having the ability to grapple with conceptual ideas, morality falters in both human beings and animals 100% of the time. I explained to her that the ability to understand concepts was like getting popcorn into a bowl that has been popped in a kitchen. If a person’s mind is small, they have a small bowl from which they can place popcorn in from which to consume. If a person’s mind is large they can hold a lot more popcorn. In my metaphor I was of course transposing popcorn with ideas, or in this case “concepts” in order to explain why mankind is so sick these days. We spend the first five years of our lives being given gigantic “concepts” from our parents, grandparents, friends, and extended family through the toys we play with and ideas they give us. We are given from birth extremely large bowls which hold a lot of metaphorical popcorn so that concepts can be formed in our minds allowing us to walk, speak, and develop ranges of physical movement. But from every year after our first kindergarten class in public school, we find that our bowls get smaller and by age 10 to age 15 our ability to hold thinking concepts diminishes greatly so that by the time we are grown adults, instead of holding a bowl of popcorn with most of what could possibly be popped in the kitchen, we are lucky to get a few small kernels into our 35-year-old brains. I view human mythology as a way of expanding our metaphorical bowls so that our minds can hold more philosophy about the way life should be lived, and today in all of human history it is the movies produced from Hollywood which are the strongest creators of modern mythology, which makes them of great interest to me. This basic preamble is needed before I say that I understand why so many critics stated that they did not enjoy the new movie which I have been raving about—Man of Steel. They did not like the movie because they are suffering from conceptual handicaps given to them by their crumbling society, of which the most recent rendition of Superman clearly was conceptually articulating. So I will provide you dear reader with a conceptual handicap free review so that you can understand why a slight tear was running down your face at the end of the movie, and why you thought about standing up and clapping at the end while others actually did with a ruckus ovation.
I have spoken before about how important the concept of Superman is to my family in a previous article. CLICK HERE TO REVIEW. Before seeing the film, we went to Newport on the Levee to view the new Man of Steel film by Zach Snyder and one of my favorite modern film producers, Christopher Nolan and have dinner at Claddah’s Irish Pub. My daughter, son-in-law, and wife wanted to make a big event out of this film with me so we went to that particular theater and dining location to place the experience in proper perspective. The AMC theaters at Newport are built three stories above the mall below, and are unique in their design. Going up the escalator to arrive in the lobby is literally like arriving in some heavenly plateau which is appropriate for a modern viewing of Superman, especially for my family. The reasons I love Ayn Rand’s characters in The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged are because her characters created during the same era as Superman are about the same elevated sense of mankind’s potential. For Ayn Rand, Superman is in all men who have a thinking mind. Yet for the character of Superman created by writer Jerry Siegel and artist Joe Shuster, high school students living in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1933 their large concept ultimate man had extraordinary powers given to him from the sun’s energy on earth. But all these creations of the mind were a direct answer to the communism being imported into the United States by progressives during the roaring twenties and early thirties. It was a time when President Calvin Coolidge was going door to door running for office with a miniature chalk board trying to educate voters on the perils of socialism. Superheroes were born in literature as a way to protect the concept of Americanism against the anti-concept of European communism. Young Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster created Superman to define what living life in America was all about creating a symbol that allowed the concept of Americanism to be defined in a single character named Kal-El from the planet Krypton.
To understand what this 2013 version of Superman is all about, let me explain how the film ends without giving away any particular spoilers. Superman smashes out of the sky a drone aircraft which is attempting to spy on him and proceeds to lecture the U.S. military of his need for privacy even though he understands the military is afraid of all his vast powers. Superman continues to make clear that nothing the military can do will hurt him anyway, so the effort is useless. The military then asks Kal-El, how they can know Superman won’t use his superior powers against the American people. Superman explains with a smile, “I grew up in Kansas and am as American as there is; you’re just going to have to trust me.” This is almost the last scene of the film. Superman was metaphorically speaking on behalf of all Americans to their modern government which is currently plagued by scandals such as the IRS, Benghazi, and spygates against the American people. Superman represented in mythic form the power of every individual American who may not be able to leap about like Superman, or shoot lasers from their eyes, but hold the potential to be super in their own way which Ayn Rand would get more specific about in her own overmen exploits of literary endeavor. The message at the end of Man of Steel is that Superman wanted to be left alone to live as an American and that if he wanted to he’d crush anybody who stood in his way of achieving that goal. He chose to value the people of earth for the hope he had for them which was something that was lost to his dying planet of Krypton.
Russell Crow who played Kal-El’s father in Man of Steel was very good in his role of explaining how Krypton became doomed in the first place. The highly technological society of the Kryptonians had enjoyed a period of great expansion in their culture where they planted seed societies throughout known space. But as time moved on, their society had become more politically corrupt leaving them to pursue short-sighted goals like stripping out their own planet’s core for power, instead of harnessing the power from neighboring star systems, as they had in the past. The Krypton metaphor was clearly in reference to our own times where space travel has been cut away to virtually nothing in America as left-leaning politicians squabble in endless debate with political apathy serving as the centerpiece of their action. On Krypton, as many are attempting to suggest here on earth, they devolved from a flourishing society that embraced personal freedom and enterprise to one that micro managed the smallest detail of their lives including the birth of children which had been taken over by a technology called the Codex. Jor-El and his wife gave birth to the first free-born child in centuries on Krypton. That child was Kal-El–Superman, a free-born creation of two loving parents. Knowing that Krypton was imploding on itself, even as the political class squabbled in denial of the impending doom Jor-El sent his child to earth to allow the best of what Krypton was to live on elsewhere. All this while General Zod was staging a rebellion to turn Krypton back into a society under his managed care. In Man of Steel, Zod is a collectivist born under the dystopian care of the Codex, not having natural parents, but instead being raised to and for the collective Krypton society. (I knew Christopher Nolan would not let me down.) I was very concerned about how Krypton’s demise would be handled in the film, and it is very appropriate to the direction our current society is devolving. Man of Steel just in this regard is conceptually brilliant……….but that’s not all.
Even Kal-El’s adoptive parents were heroic as Jonathan Kent died in the Man of Steel defying a tornado’s wrath. He ran into the blistering storm as it consumed cars and entire homes to save a few more people only to get caught because he broke his ankle and couldn’t run away fast enough……..but he saved Kal El’s dog! That is a great dad! The good guys in the film were all heroic in their own way. Ultimately the pinnacle decision of the film was Kal-El having to decide whether the society of Krypton deserved to be resurrected on earth through the Codex killing all of humanity, or should the people who live on the planet be given the opportunity to have hope for their own future. Superman ultimately decided that Krypton had its chance, and it screwed it up. The people of earth had a real chance to get it right, and Superman had made a decision to lead them to the light under his guidance. Superman made a value judgment between the two societies, Krypton had taken a noticeably collectivist route and destroyed itself, and earth was headed in the same direction, but could still change course.
On the way home from the movie my family was philosophizing about the very idea of Superman, a man who was invincible and could be harmed by nothing on earth. For many this is a boring idea because the wish is to see conflict in their heroes brought about by fear and weakness. But that is not what Superman is all about. Superman could decide to rule the earth if he wanted as there would be nobody to stop him, but he doesn’t, because he is a good man who chooses to spend his time helping humanity instead of acting as a parasite off of it to feed his own ego. What Kal-El gained from his adoptive parents was a sense of knowing the difference between right and wrong which would be the key to allowing the grown-up Superman to use his powers for good, instead of evil. General Zod, with all his good intentions openly declared at the end of the film that his sole purpose in life was to serve the greater good of Krypton by any means necessary. He was speaking as a product of the collective and might as well have been a Russian revolutionary from 1917 marching around Petrograd destroying any life that stood in the way of communism, as the greater good of mother Russia was more important than the whims of any individual who might think they were serving good as it is defined by anybody. As I was explaining all this to my family a drunk driver nearly ran into the side of our minivan. I reacted as I have hundreds and hundreds of times over the years, with quick aversion out of harm’s way. It happened so quick that I barely paused in my sentence structure and after the danger was averted, I proceeded with the explanation of my metaphor without pause. Such situations are only dangerous if the mind surrenders itself to panic, and I don’t. After years of training myself, there is little that worries me. And it is this kind of attitude that Kal-El maintained throughout the Man of Steel once he had become comfortable in his role as Superman, savior of the planet earth from falling to a similar fate as his home planet Krypton. All men and women come to such a place in their own minds once the concept of goodness is understood by them. But first they must have a bowl big enough to hold the concept of such goodness and behold the definitions of evil in the same container. Once there, the mind can eliminate danger from its life-like avoiding a drunk driver by simply taking evasive action without any fanfare. Panicky social commentary asking politicians for more public safety never works. The truth is politicians are actually quite powerless to provide any safety without stealing from some to give to others in legalized theft. All they can really do is react as a second-hander and write new laws which bring our present society that much closer to the fictional fate of Krypton.
At the conclusion of Man of Steel my family sat till the end of the credits as viewers gradually left the theater. We were the last to leave. Several young men who might look like gang-like thugs in any other circumstance from the streets of Cincinnati were wearing the Superman emblem on their shirts and had obviously given up for the evening any youthful decadence they might otherwise engage in to see a story of “hope” unfold upon the silver screen. A young man covered in tattoos and body piercings saw me smiling at his big “S” imprinted across his shirt as he left the theater to descend the escalator back down into the shopping complex of Newport on the Levee. His first reaction was a bit of anxiety as he thought I was laughing at his immature love of Superman. But I gave him a reassuring wink as he walked by to let the young man know that I understood. He was attempting to behold a higher concept of what “man” should be, and I didn’t want him for a moment to think I didn’t approve. He smiled boyishly as he walked by, realizing that my gaze at him was not condescending, but quite the opposite.
Small-minded reviewers after they saw the movie found that without large concepts in their own imaginations to allow them to behold the messages of the film they were regulated to commenting on the physical appearance of Henry Cavell, the young man who played Kal-El or criticizing the 40 minute climax which took place in an epic battle all over the globe ending in a fist fight between Superman and Zod which migrated into space at times where even satellites fell from the sky in destruction. Critics spoke about the metaphors of 9/11 as half of the city of Metropolis was destroyed in the gigantic battle leaving a crater of cleared buildings in the center where the two earthly gods did battle in the climatic ending with Superman snapping the neck of Zod. When Kal-El broke the neck of the villain there was emotion in the audience. It was 1 AM in the morning, and the audience was filled back to the projection booth. One man yelled out from the crowd………….”damn!” Others clapped. Some whistled. It was not a critical appraisal, but one of approval from the audience, of seeing a battle between right and wrong, good and evil displayed clearly in front of them, resolving itself with the clear decision of a nearly decapitated villain.
Man of Steel is about “big concepts” and it assists the viewer in grasping those ideas which require large conceptual bowls to hold. It is why in spite of the attempts by established Ellsworth Toohey type film critics taught in their institutions of learning to have small concepts in their lives, not large ones; Man of Steel will become the next $1 billion dollar film franchise. Shortly after the drunk driver nearly hit us on the way home, and I dropped my kids off at their house, I thought of the export potential of this film. Man of Steel is about undeniably American ideas and it didn’t waiver from that responsibility for even a moment. Superman didn’t say he stood for “truth, justice, and the American way,” at the end of the movie, he simply said…………..”I’m an American.” What a wonderful thing for kids throughout the world to see whether they are in London, or Delhi. The best vehicle for projecting American ideas to the world is the film industry of Hollywood, which has traditionally been consumed by left leaning communist ideologues, like what’s represented in the upcoming Matt Damon film Elsyium. Most movies that Hollywood produces like Elsyium or the 2012 fall attempt with Tom Hanks called Cloud Atlas are not so subtle attempts to sell socialism to America and the world. But the box office take usually tells the story as fans reject the message. They will go see the movies for entertainment, but quickly drop them, as word of mouth does not spread like wild-fire, the way it does during the very capitalist movie messages like Iron Man, and now Man of Steel, which is going to break records during its opening weekend. The film made $21 million just off Thursday midnight shows, and $50 million on Friday alone.
Man of Steel is a fantastic film. It is worth watching many more times than once. It is a pleasure to live in a culture that can produce films like Man of Steel where the story telling is first class, the visual effects epic, the music astonishing, but most importantly, the concept is huge. The value of Man of Steel is in its ability to generate a concept that is epic in scope and definitive in its message. There is no question where the message of Man of Steel intends to go, and it is in no way complimentary to evil, weakness, or even blind dedication to a race of people just because they represent one’s ancestors. It is more valuable as an American export than all the money that is currently spent on defense because the message is clear, and void of politics from any party. Man of Steel is film making at its best and the message to everyone in the world with a mind to think is one of goodness! It is a big bowl of philosophy that will take multiple viewings for those functioning with small bowls of conceptual thinking and will require expanding enough to behold the real message of Superman, which is certainly one of hope. A hope that earth will find its way and not fail the way Krypton did, leaving that society to live on in the rebellion of an innovative young couple who decided to go against their entire society and have a natural child who would have to flee their planet and live again as the shining beacon of truth, justice, and the American way for not just on a continent in North America, but the entire world which desperately needs the message of Man of Steel.
One particular scene in Man of Steel defines the entire film. It’s a scene when young Kal-El is being picked on by a group of bullies who are around 10 years old. The little Superman is reading a book, called Plato’s Republic. It wasn’t Tom Sawyer, or the Diary of Anne Frank. It was a work of philosophy that the budding superhero was reading, and a message to all viewers was that Man of Steel is not just an action movie, it’s a work of conceptual philosophy designed to give mankind the tools it needs to save itself. All society needs to do is listen to the message and allow their minds to conceptually hold the memorandum of goodness which is represented immaculately by Superman: Man of Steel.
Dear reader, I hate to say I told you so, but…………………..I told you so. I stated many, many months ago that the government was watching everything you were doing, and that America was headed down a direction of the dystopian novel, Brave New World, and 1984. CLICK TO REVIEW. Now it is obvious to all that the government led by the NSA and many other organizations have been looking at phone records, email accounts, video conferencing between businesses and virtually every aspect of life of all Americans under The Patriot Act for the thinly disguised notion of bringing safety to the nation. But like the IRS, the Justice Department, and virtually every government agency including the local teacher at your children’s school they are filled with incompetent employees operating with faulty minds. The NSA is spying on the nude pictures of our children that are recklessly sent to their budding relationships, not for the protection of the nation, but for their own pleasure. The NSA enjoys knowing the social connections of every adult of the American population because such knowledge is power and can be used against targets at their discretion. Read all about the PRISM data collection scandal at the following link:
Maybe now skeptics won’t question what has been reported about Common Core education, Obamacare, Agenda 21, Muslim penetration of our government, global consensus effort to collapse the American dollar, communist influence of labor unions, a socialist take-over of American government, and many other controversial topics that have been regulated to conspiracy theory. “They” are watching and “they” have their fingers in virtually every aspect of your life dear reader, and you let them do it.
“I layered in these New Founding Fathers, this regime that we voted into power at some point, some kind of NRA-thing that took over the country…But I kind of left that to the audience. I think sometimes in my writing I try to spoon feed too much, it’s better to let the audience make their own decisions on things.”
The Purge sucks by the way, it’s a horrible film which hopes that millions of dim-witted teenagers will grow up and vote for more government into their lives so that they won’t have to suffer through the grim reality of The Purge. It is unbelievable that this title actually got a summer release! It belongs in the first week of February, or around the third week of October, a terrible decision that only demonstrates to what effect Hollywood is willing to sacrifice for the gods of statism. What is most disconcerting is that such a terrible film could be made, and that statist government has penetrated the blank philosophies of America’s story tellers to such a reckless extent. Filmmakers like DeMonaco have learned to shape their personal beliefs around those of statism because they lack personal philosophic principles. They have weak epistemologies that are shaped by where the money for their projects comes from. That money is influenced by programs like project PRISM who linger behind all of our lives threatening to reveal our secrets if extortion proves faulty. In this way statism has taken control of many industries under the guise of personal liberty. But the choices are really between suffering and living, and such choices are not those of free people, but of existing slaves, of which filmmakers like DeMonaco are a part.
You have been told dear reader how the world works, and now you are beginning to have proof that these things I have stated are not conspiracy. So what are you going to do about it? Will you continue to be an empty vessel of a mind seeking to defer your thoughts to the popularity which has been shaped by your friendly neighborhood statist government who has the reach to enter entertainment with an obvious film attempting to incite fear toward Tea Party causes? Or will you fill your head with your own thoughts and fight for the right to have them against a statist regime that uses safety and security as excuses to look at your sexual habits, and personal interests for the sheer aim of gaining a tactical advantage over your very soul?
Is the decision so difficult? Is it so scary? Or are you just too lazy to care? If so, take another drink, get “shit faced” at the local sports bar, and enjoy the fact that some pin headed geek at the NSA has nude pictures of your children and spouses pinned to their cubical, and they are enjoying their anonymity from your wrath.
What does the New World Order look like once all the forces at play today have their way tomorrow? Have a look at the map Glenn Beck assembled with a couple of his guests as they put together the pieces of a world few are willing to acknowledge is a possibility.
“Flash, I love you, but we only have 14 hours to save the earth!” With that line of dialogue from the 1980 film Flash Gordon I knew what I wanted to be when I grew up. When Dale Arden said those words to Flash Gordon, Flash was battling a rival on a floating circular platform in a bullwhip fight to the death as metal spikes came up out of the floor to puncture the fighters. If the fighters fell off the platform they would fall from the sky for miles to their death. The movie was cheesy, and unrealistic as viewed by my adult eyes, but there is a swagger to it that I love to this day which is exhibited so clearly in the theme song done by the rock band Queen, which can be seen in the music video from that long ago time in a film forgotten to modern ingenuity.
It was Flash Gordon and the old Zorro films from the 40s and 50s Republic serials that captured my interest in learning to use bullwhips. After watching the 1980 version of Flash Gordon at least 10 times at the theater I set up a mock platform in my back yard to learn how to fight with bullwhips on a similar platform so I’d have the skills to save the earth the way Flash Gordon did in that famous movie. I was in the sixth grade at the time and my career choice was made for me after watching that movie. I didn’t want to grow up to be a doctor, a dentist, or a mechanic. I wanted to be a superhero who would save the world with my own two hands and a bull whip.
For three decades now I have played that Queen song from my car stereo and blasted it from my home theater system incessantly. At times I have played the song over and over for hours never growing tired of it—because I always identified with the message. As the rest of our modern world looks to the conspiracies of our day with anxiety, I am excited. I look for the black helicopters to circle the sky, and for the hummers to storm my neighborhood releasing me from the social shackles of order for which we all live day by day. I am eager for the day I can defeat the Ming’s of Merciless tyrants I hated as a youth, and still hate as an adult with more than fiction and metaphors, but with action brought from imagination to grim reality.
In that regard, I can report that I am in a blissful existence. The world is corrupt with evils beyond imagining, and they are obvious. The villains are as obvious as the sun in a cloudless sky at noon in the desert. And those villains require valor to defeat, and souls willing to meet them on the battlefield of life. It is in that spirit that I wait patiently with yearning at the first moves of the real life Ming’s of Merciless to advance their plots in a way that defies the law and provides license for action to extend beyond the realm of thought, to actual existence. I still practice on a type of “disk of death” in my back yard so that the skills are present when they are needed.
Most people supposedly grow up and away from these kinds of thoughts, the hero fantasies young people have of saving the world. Sadly, almost every living, breathing human being in the entire world stops growing physically and mentally by the age of 15. The typical 50-year-old wants the same things that the typical 15-year-old wants food, sex, and social status. Our current society considers this—maturity. But the higher needs and desires come from the youth of a mind uncorrupted by age and cynicism, which has not yet hit puberty and developed a desire for the opposite sex. In this phase, a young mind sees the big picture without interruption. It is during this phase that young people think that saving the world is realistic, and they endeavor to do so all by themselves.
However, once young people start submitting themselves to hazing rituals to belong to a sports team, or surrender themselves to a classroom bully, they start making concessions for which there is no return. Once they’ve kissed the feat of the Ming’s of Merciless’ in their life they turn their attention to their social status, sex and food once they’ve learned their place in the social peaking order. I have always felt sorry for these terribly lost fools. They have lost the magic of youth, the knowledge in their own minds that they are ruled by nobody but their own imaginations. Once they are broken—socially—they stay that way for the rest of their years nearly 100% of the time.
What I always loved about Flash Gordon—especially the cheesy 1980 version of the classic character was that he wasn’t afraid of anything. He also survived everything the bad guys threw at him and had to peel the girls off him with a pry bar. Flash Gordon was fearless, and he never felt he needed to apologize otherwise.
Years ago I worked for a conveyor manufacturer who had a big contract with Amazon.com. I was clearly one of the best assemblers out of the 400 person work force. It was a union shop, but due to a recent strike, they had allowed Right-to-Work provisions. I was one of the first after the agreement to take the job without accepting union representation. Because of my work ethic, I was put on the big sorter job, which was the most complicated conveyor segment this particular company built. They were big and had a lot of moving parts which had to be precisely measured. The very aggressive building hours on those units was 16 hours, which required two 8 hour shifts of a union employee building them at 100% efficiency to complete. However, most of the time, the union employees performed at a 40% to 60% efficiency, so even with two assemblers, the job still took two days. When the shop foramen put me on the job he warned me that if I worked too fast, that it would cause trouble. But he admitted to me that he was putting me on those units to expose the poor performance of the much more experienced assemblers. I gladly went to the cell and set up. Within one week of working on the very technical job, I was building those units every 7.5 hours. Within a month, I had the time down to 6 hours. When I worked double shifts, which was unheard of at this manufacturing facility I could build two per day by myself and have the next unit for set up for first shift construction. This earned me the nick-name, “SUPERMAN.” It’s a name that has traveled with me everywhere I’ve ever worked and people do not mean it in a complementary way. Quite the opposite, they mean it as an insult. The union employees believed that by signaling me out with such a name, I would feel self-conscious and stop trying to “be so good.” So in response to their “insult” I would start my shift every day with the theme song to Superman on my personal boom box sitting on top of my tool box. I put together a mix tape back then, and right after Superman, the Queen song “Flash” would come on to drive my point home. My co-workers would scratch their heads and try to turn up their radios onto classic rock to attempt to drown out my movie classics.
After a while of these music wars, they decided to step up their harassment by threatening to fight me in the break room, bathroom, and parking lot. Different groups of individuals attempted the deed until the whole plant had stacked up massive collective failure. When that didn’t work they tried to rally the whole plant against me with a giant fight in the parking lot imagining that the threat of a mob would put me in my place. But it never did, instead they learned the same lessons that many have had to learn about themselves under such circumstances—that they were cowards in their adult lives discovering that valor had left their lives. Those same adults tell their sons to “grow up,” not out of a desire for their children to have better lives than they had, but to prevent their children from stepping beyond them in social stature. Those adults tell their daughters “don’t hold out for a hero, because there are none.” The truth is not that society lacks heroes anymore, but that the hope is that those heroes will be suppressed so that guilt doesn’t riddle the minds of all the 15-year-olds who have stopped dreaming of honor, and traded in their ambition for social security as 40-year-old slobs whose new idea of success is to save the world by schmooze politically on the golf courses of life.
The plot of Flash Gordon would have been boring if Flash just did what he was told, and kissed the ring of Ming the Merciless. But he didn’t, and that’s why Flash Gordon is such a great and honorable character. The same holds true in real life—it is easy to kiss the rings of those who wish to rule us. But there is also opportunity for honor and adventure when such rings are offered and the ring is spit on instead of kissed. That is why I look at our current world and have a hard time containing my excitement. There are a lot of modern spiked platforms that contain a million perils upon them. The danger is what I yearn for—with the same ambition that a 7 to 8 year-old kid looks upon a fantasy film with wide-eyes declaring that when he grows up, he will also be fearless and heroic. For me the biggest difference between the adult and the child is that the child at such a young age has no choice but to dream and ascertain images which they find attractive, so they can set personal goals to live up to. The adult has to take the responsibility to live those dreams, and to have the bravery to stand on their own ideals even if the world or universe stands against them. It is in such moments that I hear the theme song to Flash Gordon, from Queen, and relish that I have fought on many dangerous platforms and heard in my mind the words of many metaphorical Dale Ardens without turning away from the danger. But I never get tired of hearing it, and yearn for more of it every day of my life.
When I was a child, I simply bought another movie ticket and watched the same movie over and over again. But as a man, I simply get out of bed and face the day with a smile on my face for the danger which awaits me. It’s a wonderful time to be alive!
Government schools, politicians, union leaders, and busy parents too wrapped up in their own lives to raise their children attempt to justify why they should surrender education to their local government-run school district, will declare that Common Core standards will help all children reach a level of excellence within the public school system. Yet such an idea is only good from the perspective of the statist school designed by The United States Department of Education. For any other freedom loving individual Common Core is a gross tyranny that attempts to break down the primary family influence in a child’s life and claim children as property of the state. Common Core seeks to un-educate instead of create dynamic individuals who are free thinking and diverse in their thoughts and opinions. Common Core is essentially the first step which leads to Aldous Huxley’s novel A Brave New World, yet for busy, young neurotic parents and politicians who would gladly sell their soul to an airport baggage handler in exchange for a strip tease lap dance, Common Core in education is their children’s salvation, because it promises to make their children into good people and repair their short-comings as parents. Common Core was the brainchild of a former genius who was told by a statist society that they need to “give back” some of the vast wealth they’ve earned. Years of guilt and family tradition have turned Bill Gates and his wife to education philanthropy to prove they are not terribly greedy, rich people—but caring contributors to ideas greater than themselves starting with children, even though Bill Gates dropped out of college to start Microsoft—a company that is leading the charge for Common Core. These complicated dynamics were the subject of the May meeting at the West Chester Tea Party where Heidi Huber, one of the leaders of Ohioans Against Common Core, passionately explained the who, what, why, when, and where Common Core is targeting young minds to destroy for the benefit of statist government intentions. This group is leading the charge of taking Common Core out of our schools in Ohio.
I learned during my school levy fights at the Lakota school district that what Heidi stated in her speech was true. Education is not designed for the children; it is designed for the adults who support a statist view of government. This is why I moved my position from just a reformer of public education cost, to an advocate against public education completely—and instead favor competitive alternatives to drive the market cheaper with better results based on performance. The biggest problem with Common Core is it’s far from competitive. But don’t just take my word for it on this, feel free to watch ALL the videos provided here, and learn for yourself the severity of Common Core on children’s lives, and the future impact it will have on establishing a working philosophy for American society. I reject the effectiveness of modern education based on the results it has currently provided, children who would rather participate in evasion rather than think—so public education is a dismal failure before the implementation of Common Core. More of the same is simply not acceptable.
The Common Core State Standards (CCSS) are being sold as a state led initiative that will bring quality education standards to our schools. CCSS is an illegal overreach by the US Department of Education into local education. CCSS are national standards which the federal government is forbidden by law from creating, which were developed by a group of progressive education “reformers” in D.C. and released under the auspices of two Washington trade groups. Because those groups have members from the states, the creators claim this effort was ‘state-led.’ But state representatives had little or no meaningful input to the development process.
The states were coerced into accepting Common Core Standards as a requirement to apply for Race to the Top grant money and in order to receive a waiver from No Child Left Behind mandates. Ohio’s State Board of Education along with former State Superintendent, De Delisle and Gov. Strickland signed onto this federal intrusion with the RTTT application on January 19, 2010. Seeing this activity it was then that I decided to start the No Lakota Levy effort at my local school, to pick a large pristine school in Ohio that would get the attention of Columbus and let them know that they would get resistance to their far-reaching attempts to possess the minds of children with new impositions. During that January 2010 RTTT application there was no legislative involvement. Even today, legislators are in the dark about Common Core. Deb Delisle was nominated by Pres. Obama and is currently an Asst. Secretary at the US Department of Education. Small world……………..
The Ohio Constitution requires a State School Board to obtain legislative approval to change the state’s curriculum. Common Core radicals in Columbus did not obtain this approval prior to or after signing on to CCSS. Two consortia, SMARTER Balanced and PARCC, which are paid by the Department of Education with stimulus funds, have developed on-line assessments that are slated to replace the OGT test, but at a greater cost. Estimates put that cost at more than two times the OGT test costs. Because they are on-line tests, they will require school district to massively ramp up their technology inventory, at a time when school districts are already struggling to meet their existing operating costs because of their collective bargaining agreements with overly paid labor unions. This will cause more school levy requests which fulfills the long stated goal of all statist government, to tax private property even more so to discourage property ownership—surrendering those rights to the state in exchange for cheaper lease rates from renting. So Common Core for the statist government achieves two objectives, it attacks private property ownership, and placates the minds of generations of children with statist government philosophy breaking down the traditional family and replacing parental influence with “community ownership,” of children.
Home Schoolers and private schools cannot escape Common Core through self-instruction. The Ohio Department of Education will only confer a high school diploma to students passing the new PARCC national standards assessment. Lead author of Common Core, David Coleman, is now the president of the College Board, the developer of the SAT exam. They have made it impossible for families to control their child’s education, which should enrage every American with a child. The Feds, progressive “philanthropists” like Bill Gates and his wife, and the crony capitalists have taken over education. If CCSS proponents have their way, all standardized tests (ACT, SAT, etc) will align with CCSS forcing private schools and home school families to teach to the test or risk being unfairly evaluated for college and scholarship opportunities. Personally, I think that if a parent sends their children to a modern college with unfocused goals and spends $50,000 to $100,000 on their college education to be turned into a liberalized buffoon, that parent is an idiot. If the college taught conservative, or otherwise traditional values, that would be a different story, but they don’t. They currently instruct students to be agents of a statist system, and the results to our country are quite obvious.
CCSS is part of a broader federal effort to collect huge amounts of personal student and family data (P-20 longitudinal data system). This data, like that collected through the new health care mandate, will be shared among federal departments) e.g. HHS, Labor, Corrections) and private entities who claim a need to know for education purposes. Ohio’s LSDS system was a Senate added amendment (post-committee) to HB290 and done under “emergency” measure in the last hours of the December 2009 session to meet the RTTT application compliance. It is now law as ORC 3301.0712.
CCSS proponents said only English and Math standards were being crafted. They said Social Studies and Science standards development might be far down the road. With the consortia assessment structure in place, tests for these standards are almost a certainty. Both these subjects have the potential to contain ideology with which local school districts may not agree. States/local districts will not be able to change the standards, but our teachers and students will be evaluated based on them nonetheless.
Some contended that we need these standards because US students do not do as well as their foreign counterparts on national tests and that CCSS would be internationally benchmarked to help our students be more globally competitive. This contention conveniently ignores the differences in how other countries administer these tests which skews their results. Those other countries are also not “FREE” countries with a system of government that is unique to America. Additionally, CCSS standards have not been internationally benchmarked as promised. If Common Core Standards are so great, why did states have to be bribed with stimulus dollars and NCLB wavers? Why is Governor Kasich so willing to advance this federal intrusion? Well, for the same reason that Kasich is supporting Medicaid expansion—for federal dollars to help balance his budget. It shows no respect for state sovereignty, citizen representation, or limited government. It supports infinitely statist government perpetually with its implementation.
Some analyses [who?][16] use a dichotomy between state and market, viewing the state as a homogeneous institution capable of using political power to force policy on the market which is the sum of peaceful human action. Such an analysis depends on an elitist theory of power rather than a pluralist theory of power; that power is exercised by individuals and competing organizations within society.[17]
Authoritarianism, on the other hand, views a strong, authoritative state as required to legislate or enforce morality and cultural practices.[citation needed] The ideology of statism espoused by fascism holds that sovereignty is not vested in the people but in the nation-state, and that all individuals and associations exist only to enhance the power, prestige and well-being of the state. It repudiates individualism and the family and exalts the nation as an organic body headed by the Supreme Leader and nurtured by unity, force, and discipline.[citation needed]Fascism and some forms of corporatism extol the moral position that the corporate group, usually the state, is greater than the sum of its parts and that individuals have a moral obligation to serve the state.[citation needed]
The term statism is sometimes used to refer to market economies with large amounts of government intervention, regulation or influence over a market or mixed-market economy. Economic interventionism asserts that the state has a legitimate or necessary role within the framework of a capitalist economy by intervening in markets, attempting to promote economic growth and trying to enhance employment levels. Although this intervention may be undertaken in the name of the public interest, in many instances unintended consequences may ensue, to the opposite of those good intentions. For example, in one interpretation, the USA promoted the Federal National Mortgage Administration (FNMA) as a cure for widespread home ownership; however, coercion of banks to lend to multitudes of unqualified buyers, accentuated with unintended trading of the financial derivatives of these mortgages, led to a dramatic collapse of the housing market in the USA in the period 2008 to 2012.[19]
When career politicians are involved, what form of government would they logically pick? Is it any wonder that their philosophy of statism is imprinted all over Common Core? Failure to stop Common Core is the failure to exist as The United States of America. It infringes upon everything Americans think of themselves, and it is happening right under everyone’s nose because parents refuse out of inconvenience to admit that they have a problem. Over a year ago when I called out the PTA moms in my district and the parents who support school levies by essentially calling them prostitutes, I meant to insult them so that they might investigate my accusations and save themselves and their children from the course they are currently on. Their blind acceptance of statism policies is allowing tyrannical concepts like Common Core to migrate into the minds of our children, which is unfathomably foolish. They are too busy to pay attention the way people like me do to the status of public education and the conditions of society in general, and without their psychological investment into the world of government, statist policies will continue to favor people like Barack Obama, De Delisle, and David Coleman.
When kids picked on Bill Gates in elementary school for being a super geek, and his school teaching mother could not help him overcome those terrible bullies, Gates decided to place his fate in his own hands. He dropped out of Harvard and started Microsoft. But always in the back of his mind are those bullies, leaving Gates forever traumatized to the abuses of other bullies for the rest of his life no matter how many billions of dollars he has been able to ascertain to protect himself. When Microsoft met the bully of the federal government who took Gates to court over monopoly accusations, the old sentiments for his mother probably kicked in and with the same determination that built Microsoft into a giant corporation of incalculable human benefit, Gates dedicated his life forever forward with evidence that he was not a greedy, heartless, “capitalist,” but a bleeding heart progressive like the rest of the government bullies hell-bent on global statism. So he helped start a new cable television news channel called MSNBC and has spent around $30 billion dollars on philanthropy, to prove to those government bullies and statist leaning media outlets that he was not a bad person. Gates might be a genius at computer code and forward thinking applications, but the money that he made off his inventions does not make him qualified to continue the teachings of his school teacher mother by supporting Common Core with a social philosophy that he does not understand. Like most geek types, they are book smart, but socially awkward until they gain the kind of incredible wealth that Bill Gates has achieved where looters and moochers are constantly eating out of his hand giving him an illusion of power that he does not possess. Only people willing to sell themselves cheaply treat people like Gates as an authority on all manner of life. Gates is at a financial level where he has lost touch with reality, which is reflected in his advocacy of Common Core. Bill Gates earns$250 every second; that’s about $20 million a day and $7.8 billion a year! If Bill Gates drops a thousand-dollar bill, he needn’t even bother to pick it up, because it would take him 4 seconds to pick it up, he would’ve already earned it back. Bill Gates and Melinda Gates’ house worth of $150 million and annual taxes is over $1 million. Bill Gates is worth enough money to send every 18-year-old in the country to a 4-year college. If you change all of Bill Gate’s money to US $1 notes, you could make a road from earth to moon, 14 times back and forth. However, you have to make that road non-stop for 1,400 years, and use a total of 713 BOEING 747 planes to transport all the money. Bill Gates can donate US $15 to everyone on earth and still be left with US $5 million for his pocket-money. Yet with so much money, which he rightfully earned, statist bullies have taken his past torments and used them to their advantage—launching Gates on a progressive course that has ushered in Common Core as the single greatest threat launched against The United States. The attack is not with physical weapons, but with the destruction of the human mind, and they performed the feat by using one of the richest men in the world to do it.
I know many very wealthy people, and they all share this symptom that is seen in Bill Gates, the social pressure to prove that they are not bad people because of their wealth. But such a negative philosophy of wealth was created by statist governments so that they could find ways to get their hands on that money through altruistic practice. And this is how Common Core has found its way into our schools, seeking to eradicate the minds of children everywhere to non-thinking commitment to a Brave New World right out of the novel written so long ago, yet coming true in 2013. But it doesn’t have to be this way. Common Core is illegal, especially in Ohio and it can be stopped. To find out how, Visit the great web site at www.ohioansagainstcommoncore.com and find out how you can save children from the intrusive influence of Common Core before their minds are consumed by the evil mechanisms of statist government forever destroying families in the process by design for tactical aims that are more sinister than the most vivid imagination can conger.
It is a sad state when wild conspiracy theories provide the most logical conclusions to President Obama’s many political catastrophes. But it can’t be ignored that when Obama needed political capital most prior to the 2012 election, Hurricane Sandy hit New England soaking up the news cycle with tragedy allowing Obama to look presidential and putting an effective shackle across the loose lips of Governor Chris Christie. Christie suddenly found himself in need of federal relief money—which Obama largely controlled. This effectively shut down one of Mitt Romney’s most vocal advocates just days before the election which had been up to that point a very tight race. Then within the same year when Obama’s administration was drowning in three major scandals a F5 tornado hit Oklahoma in a devastating manner taking lives and destroying billions of dollars worth of value in both real and emotional capital. At a critical time during the IRS hearings, the news cycle was distracted by another terrible tragedy caused by the weather which brought to my mind the conspiracy theory of the super secret government weapon called HAARP which can supposedly heavily influence the weather at will. I have always been skeptical of this technology but became somewhat more convinced of its possibilities by some of my readers here at Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom who sent me off-line emails showing Hurricane Sandy gaining strength in the Atlantic Ocean prior to the election. The argument provided to me detailed weather maps of ionospheric manipulation that was attempting to “nudge” the storm into a higher hurricane category instead of being just a big storm that might otherwise hit the heavily populated region with a lot of rain.
Designed and built by BAE Advanced Technologies (BAEAT), its purpose is to analyze the ionosphere and investigate the potential for developing ionospheric enhancement technology for radio communications and surveillance.[2] The HAARP program operates a major sub-arctic facility, named the HAARP Research Station, on an Air Force–owned site near Gakona, Alaska.
The most prominent instrument at the HAARP Station is the Ionospheric Research Instrument (IRI), a high-power radio frequencytransmitter facility operating in the high frequency (HF) band. The IRI is used to temporarily excite a limited area of the Ionosphere. Other instruments, such as a VHF and a UHFradar, a fluxgatemagnetometer, a digisonde, and an induction magnetometer, are used to study the physical processes that occur in the excited region.
The HAARP Conspiracy: What is it?
HAARP (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program) is a little-known, yet critically important U.S. military defense project which has generated quite a bit of controversy over its alleged weather control capabilities and much more.
Though denied by HAARP project officials, some respected researchers allege that secret electromagnetic warfare capabilities of the HAARP project are designed to forward the US military’s stated goal of achieving full-spectrum dominance by the year 2020.
Others go so far as to claim that HAARP can and has been used for weather control, to cause earthquakes and tsunamis, to disrupt global communications systems, and more. The U.S. patent of a key developer of HAARP and other documentary evidence support these claims.
Major aspects of the program are kept secret for alleged reasons of “national security.” Yet there is no doubt that HAARP and electromagnetic weapons capable of being used in warfare do exist. According to the official HAARP website, “HAARP is a scientific endeavor aimed at studying the properties and behavior of the ionosphere, with particular emphasis on being able to understand and use it to enhance communications and surveillance systems for both civilian and defense purposes.” The ionosphere is the delicate upper layer of our atmosphere which ranges from about 30 miles (50 km) to 600 miles (1,000 km) above the Earth’s surface.
The HAARP project website acknowledges that experiments are conducted which use electromagnetic frequencies to fire pulsed, directed energy beams in order to “temporarily excite a limited area of the ionosphere.” Some scientists state that purposefully disturbing this sensitive layer could have major and even disastrous consequences. Concerned HAARP researchers like Dr. Michel Chossudovsky of the University of Ottawa and Alaska’s Dr. Nick Begich (son of a US Congressman) present evidence suggesting that these disturbances can even be used to trigger earthquakes, affect hurricanes, and otherwise manipulate weather control.
The first thing that critics of such technology will point out is that politicians like Obama and his supporters wouldn’t possibly kill innocent people and destroy massive amounts of property just to hold an elected office. The second thing is that the government couldn’t possibly keep such a weapon secret, and whistle blowers would not participate in the military use of such a weapon maintaining a classified status during high-profile elections. After all, the top-secret operators of such a weapon might not be Obama supporters and would not be motivated to assist in the re-election efforts of a president who obviously does not support NASA, or the military even though he is the Commander-in-Chief—the ultimate boss and authority over the military. One must have serious doubts about such schemes as the realm of reality does not lend credence to such an undertaking.
However—first………..one must admit that such a weapon as the HAARP exists, which it appears to, and to what extent it can control the weather. I would doubt that a HAARP weapon could turn a totally cloudless warm day into a stormy blizzard, but it might have the capability to extenuate existing circumstances that exist in the ionosphere and aggravate their natural reactions. I have a friend who once explained to me the possibility of creating another Ice Age in the world by simply injecting copious amounts of fresh water into the Gulf Stream in the Atlantic Ocean—such as a way to get the Great Lake water into the Atlantic Ocean quickly to destabilize the salt content and allow the Northern Polar cap to freeze further south. Theories of such weather manipulation have been around for decades. In order to aggravate a large storm cell such as a hurricane all one would have to do is find a way to increase the contrasting currents within the storm at its core to help it become stronger kind of like giving it environmental steroids. The storm would already have to exist, but technology such as what HAARP suggests might in fact elevate existing conditions making them un-naturally strong holding durations of activity that are unusually long.
The same theory might hold true with the Oklahoma Tornado. An already unstable atmosphere in the Tornado Alley region might be “nudged” along into becoming full-fledged storms with a HAARP weapon provoking them into activity that nature might otherwise alleviate. So in the realm of scientific theory, there is a possibility of the HAARP weapon actually doing the kinds of things that conspiracy theorist propose. The problem therefore becomes the unfathomable condition of a government who can order such a weapon used on its own people for some silly political maneuver. How could any one person be so evil to actually do such a thing without blowing the whistle? And why would a politically motivated person in charge of such things use a HAARP-like weapon to destroy billions of dollars of property and kill innocent people? Well, for the answer, all one need to do is watch the IRS hearings, or study the Benghazi terrorism event to see that the government is more than willing to collectively lie, deny, and sacrifice their own to protect the statist institution of government. They collectively believe that a sacrifice of the individual is needed at times to protect the collective whole for a perceived “greater good.”
Then there is the idea of coercion, of “nudging” individuals, or groups of individuals into doing things against their will so to avoid the consequences of going against a democratic mob. The government does this all the time, most notably in the alarming revelation that the IRS broke the IRS story in the first place. Lois Lerner used a reporter to plant the question in a conference she was speaking at. She “wanted” the question asked based on predictable results—knowing full well the level of anger that would be generated by her revelation. The destruction and lives that would be ruined because of her revelation were known before hand, yet she admitted to the controversy willingly for reasons that are most likely more sinister than any logical person could possibly fathom. We also know that governments will exploit tragedy at any opportunity, such as what Obama did with the victims of Sandy Hook to advance gun control. Public schools constantly use the innocence of children to secure more funding for their statist education philosophies, so it is not at all beyond the realm of possibility that government is always on the lookout for tragic circumstances that they can use to advance more statist legislation and expansion of their social philosophy. George W. Bush used the tragedy of 9/11 to create the Department of Homeland Security, the TSA and many other deficit spending measures that favor big government. But you will never see President Obama suggest that he seek permission to use the HAARP weapon to save the lives of people from hurricanes or tornadoes because if people didn’t die occasionally, or if the world did not have tragedies, then society would not buy into the environmental philosophies which are behind the new world-wide Socialist International movement. Obama will never propose that the government seek ways to alter the weather to prevent the death of children in public schools like what happened in Oklahoma that produced nearly as many deaths as the tragic Sandy Hook shooting did. The modern statist government needs such tragedies to justify FEMA, and federal relief agencies which gives Washington D.C. legal means to impose itself on state governments suppressing the 10th Amendment. If such a weapon as HAARP is actually able to instigate violence in existing weather patterns, then it can do the opposite, and that is dissolve such threats before they occur. Years from now when it is revealed that the HAARP weapon has been functional for many years, the information will then be revealed once the current politicians have all died off and cannot be blamed for all the senseless deaths that occurred during tragedies like the Oklahoma tornado of 2013 which they did have the ability to stop—but didn’t—because they needed the collateral damage for political capital.
Before such realities can even begin to be accepted, the realization that it is not incompetent fools like President Obama who would pull the trigger on such a catastrophe must be understood. Obama is simply required to have deniable ignorance and provide social diversions. The real manipulators are the various shadow government representatives who pour so much money into K-Street in Washington that really rule the world. It is they who provide the technology; it is they who keep it concealed with hush money placed into the pockets of politicians in the gentleman clubs of D.C. To them, secret sex with strippers equates to national secrets involving HAARP because easy money comes to their pockets from the shadow government giving them access to women they would otherwise never have a chance to meet while they maintain a false façade of a happy family in their home districts. The operators of HAARP have their own strategy and make their aims more obtainable over others, so tragedies occur according to their strategic needs.
Most of the time a tornado is just a tornado, and a hurricane is just a hurricane. The violent earthquakes and seismic activity that built the Appalachian Mountains or the many meter impacts that have possibly erased life on earth many times over are part of nature. But if there is a way to use a weapon like HAARP to nudge the weather into a desire that is to the advantage of a statist government and the money holders of all potential shadow governments, there is much evidence that such characters will use it—no matter what the social, economic, or moral cost. All it takes for such acts of coercion and terror to occur is for enough people to deny that such an evil is possible.
As outlandish as such a theory sounds, the HAARP weapon concept actually makes more sense than the acts of the current government and the unique accidents that conveniently occur which contribute to shielding the extremely corrupt Obama Administration from the multitude of scandals which are currently plaguing it. Unless such a fantastic idea is introduced, there are simply too many missing pieces of the puzzle present which do not make any sense. That is how bad the current government in America is. Only fantastic theories can explain the evil that is present. Logic and good sense are so vacant that conspiracy theories at least offer a glimpse into the treacherous behavior of the current statist government in America that is marching to orders that do not come from the people who elected them, but global interests who do not care who dies, who suffers, or who is destroyed so long as they achieve power for the sake of power at the expense of innocence.
Never forget Benghazi, or the people who died there. Evil has the reigns of power, and they will do anything to keep it. Anything…………..even if it is the manipulative use of science fiction made into science fact under the cloak of secrecy and millions of timid souls who allow it.
Before it was all said and done there were around 500 people who joined the crowd protesting the gross intrusion of the IRS into the lives of Tea Party Patriots.
CINCINNATI – The furor over the IRS’s improper targeting of conservative groups went on full display in downtown Cincinnati on Tuesday.
More than 200 people turned out for a noon rally sponsored by local tea party groups, according to 9 On Your Side’s Scott Wegener. Some carried signs that read “Audit the IRS,” “Internal Revenge Service, Stop” and “Stop the Abuse of Power.” Some chanted, “Hey, hey, ho, ho, the IRS has gotta go.”
“I think we need to do something about the abuses of government,” said Dennis Hogan of Maineville.
After gathering on Fountain Square, protesters marched two blocks to the IRS office at the federal building at 550 Main St. That where IRS workers improperly targeted conservative groups in their applications for tax-exempt status over the last few years, a Treasury Department inspector general’s report states.
Lined up along the sidewalk, protesters chanted, “You work for us. You work for us,” while Homeland Security officers stood nearby.
“It’s ungodly, it’s un-American and it’s just plain wrong to target Americans because of what they say about the government,” said Paul Johnson of the Grassroots tea party of Boone County.
“We want them to cease and desist harassing us conservatives,” said Andrew Pappas of the Anderson tea party.
To that end, protesters signed a large placard and Ann Becker, president of the Cincinnati tea party, gave it to officers to deliver to the IRS.
“This isn’t about party. It’s about individual freedom,” Becker said.
Becker has called for the immediate resignation of all involved in the targeting scandal.
“There shouldn’t be a political attack based on our beliefs, and we believe that’s what the IRS has done,” Becker said.
“That it turned out to be going on in the Cincinnati office is fairly ironic considering the strong tea party presence in this area,” said George Brunemann. “I’d say there’s about 20,000 members in Hamilton, Butler, Warren and Clermont (counties).”
Brunemann said he and his wife were audited and his wife’s business was audited after they started the SouthWest Cincinnati tea party. He doesn’t believe the IRS officials who claim low-level Cincinnati IRS workers came up with the idea to target conservative groups.
“The IRS agent who told us we were being audited said it was directly because of our involvement with the tea party. She was almost apologetic,” Brunemann said.
He said he knows a small business owner who was audited by the IRS and investigated by OSHA after joining.
“To me, that’s what screams that this is not lower-lever IRS workers. This goes all the way up the food chain. The president might not be personally involved, but his people are,” Brunemann said.
Some tea party groups are planning lawsuits in connection with the investigation.
Five present or former Cincinnati IRS workers were called to Washington to give transcribed interviews in advance of a House committee hearing on Wednesday.
The scandal has already led to at least three congressional hearings.
I was at the Liberty Township Tea Party meeting when Katy Kern read the IRS harassment letter calling out Justin Binik Thomas as an individual. Justin is from Deer Park nearly a half an hour to the south of Liberty Township, Ohio and had no connection at all to the Tea Party group in my community. So the implication of why Justin, who was a founding member of the Cincinnati Tea Party, was obvious. The IRS was letting Liberty Township know that the leaders of the Tea Party effort were going to be targeted, and unless they wanted the wrath of the IRS coming down on them—they’d keep their head down. Well, it didn’t work. The Liberty Township group hunkered down and Justin went on the offensive letting every media outlet in the country know about the harassment he received. He’s been on virtually every news program in the country as a result and made a point to fly to Washington D.C. to attend the Ways and Means hearings. Upon arrival back into Cincinnati he gave two interviews, one to Channel 9 which is shown after the below video, and a radio interview with Matt Clark of WAAM in Ann Arbor, Michigan which can be seen and heard here:
The Channel 9 Interview is now listed below with the link to the original story here:
Justin Binik-Thomas wanted to know why a question about him was among 35 the Liberty Township Tea Party was instructed by the Internal Revenue Service to answer as part of the organization’s application for tax-exempt status last year.
Binik-Thomas, of Deer Park, believes he became the only individual to be singled out in any of the hundreds of questions asked by Cincinnati IRS employees who gave extra scrutiny to applications for tax-exempt status filed by conservative groups.
The 31-year-old was so concerned that he flew to Washington, D.C., to be present during the U.S. House Ways and Means Committee’s hearing Friday.
While Binik-Thomas didn’t expect the hearings to give him answers, he told 9 On Your Side prior to his trip to Capitol Hill that he thought it was important to be there to show the face of someone who has been directly affected by the scandal.
9 On Your Side interviewed Binik-Thomas to get his opinion about what he learned during the hearing.
His responses can be viewed below:
Q. What did you learn from the hearings?
A. I left confident that Congress has taken the [inspector general’s] findings, IRS admission, and constituent concerns seriously. Special thanks to my representative, Congressman (Brad) Wenstrup, for working with Ways and Means colleagues on this issue. Congressman (Pat) Tibiri and Congressman (Erik) Paulsen included my story in their questioning.
Q. Are you satisfied with the answers you got from the experience?
A. There was little new information learned at the hearing proper, but there will be followup, written testimony and committee research over the coming weeks. I hope to learn more in this phase.
Q. What do you plan to do next?
A. I will continue to work with congress and this committee to support as needed and appropriate.
Q. What would you like to hear from IRS/administration officials?
A. I would like to know why I was included in the letter to Liberty Township Tea Party, what the information received will be used for, and where the information was shared. [I’d] also like assurances that it will not be used against me or my small business in the future. The same assurances should be offered to targeted groups.
Q. What have you received in the way of support from the local community?
A. My family and community have been supportive. It is chilling to be called out by the government.
Q. What would you like the public to know about what happened?
A. The IRS has identified an individual in a letter to an unrelated group. Risks include future audits to personal or business finances. It can happen to anyone unless there are systemic changes at the agency – true checks and balances – to assure this does not reoccur.
What Justin said about being targeted in a letter to an unrelated group is the crux of the whole problem. The IRS used Justin’s name as a way to intimidate the Liberty Township Tea Party, and in doing so, abused their power. This is the reason that no one organization should ever have so much power that can behave like a dictatorship in such a fashion. No matter who was at fault at the IRS, the deed was done and Justin has had to embark on at least two years of fearful harassment as a result. The IRS owes Justin more than an apology.
I admire Justin’s professionalism in his responses. He has a right to state his outrage in a much more colorful manner than he has, but he’s a nice guy who is immensely responsible. As a founding member of the Cincinnati Tea Party he has shown a willingness to allow the legal process to work the way it should by working closely with his congressman to see justice done to the IRS. For Justin’s sake, I hope he gets it. But I have my doubts. The IRS is a terribly corrupt organization that stands against virtually everything America was founded upon, so unless major reforms are put in place the status quo will remain and people like Justin will be attacked again.
