The Tattooed Loser Zachary Castaneda: Dealing with pure evil when prisons can’t hold them

It took over 24 hours for the mainstream media to begin to wrap their minds around the tattooed freak Zachary Castaneda who went on a stabbing rampage just a few blocks from Disneyland in California about 30 miles south of Los Angeles in Orange County. Four people were killed and two others were injured as the Hispanic gang member who should have been in prison unleashed havoc on the innocent and robbed businesses for no other reason apparently other than he felt like being a menace. He lived with his mom in the apartment complex where he killed two of his victims and had a wife who just filed a restraining order against him and divorce so she could get custody from this train wreck of a person. In all practicality Zachary should have never been on American streets. If there was ever a “red flag” he was it, yet there he was killing people not with a gun, but with a knife and the system had no idea what to do with him. While the politicians at state and federal levels were trying to make themselves feel good about the recent mass shootings in California, Texas, and Ohio here was this loser proving why nothing they could or would come up with would do a bit of good, and they just couldn’t get their minds around it. There was no wall to wall coverage of the violence the way that the Gilroy Garlic Festival shooting was covered. I sent the story to several reporters and Fox did eventually cover it a bit, but only reluctantly.

Its not that Zachary Castaneda was an immigrant that was part of the gang culture that is exported out of Mexico and Central America with great abundance these days, it’s the grim reality that there are hundreds of thousands just like him roaming around in every American city now and all of them are potential nightmares for our legal system that clearly doesn’t know what to do with them. This particular gang member was released back into society off California bill AB109 which mandated that for some prisoners who committed crimes on or after July 1st of that year in 2011 when it passed, that a term of four days be deemed to have been served for every two days spent in actual custody. This of course was to take the relief off the prisons that were overcrowded putting a bunch of very bad people back on the streets mixing with the rest of society.

The same people who were clamoring for gun control after the recent mass shootings just didn’t know what to do with this Zachary Castaneda case. The criminal was smirking in his mug shots almost as if he was glad to go back to the prison system. For many people, freedom is just too much work, you have to work for your food, you have to be civil to other people—you have to do stuff, and doing stuff for the lazy, the evil, and the perpetual failures that they are can be too much. If they can just take from other people, they can get along for a while, but for people like Zachary Castaneda, prison is the only real place that he’ll ever feel at home. They bring your meals to you, you get free housing, and there are plenty of like-minded people to share time with. The problem is, there isn’t enough prison space to hold all these people, and its too expensive to care for them. And with our immigration issues that are coming out of the drug culture to the south, he’s just one of hundreds of thousands just like him, covered in gang tattoos who have the morality of roadkill and would just as soon kill someone as say hi to them. This is a major problem in our country, and it will be for a long time.

Authorities are still trying to figure out why the young 19-year-old gunman in the Gilroy Garlic festival had a clown mask in his car while promoting the book “Might is Right.” The kid was apparently distraught over Latinos and Silicon Valley whites moving into his neighborhood. It was on the same day as the Castaneda case that it was revealed that the Gilroy shooter had a far more complex set of motives, and intent than had been previously announced, and none of those considerations fit into a nice 15 second lead in to a television story. These events required context which nobody really had. This level of violence and nonchalance was completely foreign to everyone covering these stories leaving many more questions than answers.

However, what we have to understand is that we have now in America a large population of very evil people and we don’t have prisons to put them in. As a free society there will undoubtedly be interactions with them. There is no way to avoid them especially if they come to festivals or even places of businesses looking to kill us just for being there. We’re going to have to admit to ourselves that we have a big problem and that there aren’t any easy legislative fixes. The only fix that is possible is at the social level where we can begin to create proper parameters of conduct for how we live and treat each other. And when we see those parameters being breached by some evil person, then we’re going to have to deal with them appropriately right then and there. For all practical purposes, open carry and much more CCWs need to be utilized so more people are armed and can take down some criminal like Zachary Castaneda immediately instead of being stabbed to death with no defense. The only way these criminals of mass murder can commit these crimes is because they are armed where others are not, leaving the evil doers to conduct havoc on the innocent.

Obviously, the news reports understood the grander complexity of the Zachary case, but what they don’t understand is how to connect it to the Gilroy shooter. Everything doesn’t fit into a nicely wrapped package of ideological understanding. The Gilroy kid had elements of white supremacy in him, yet he complained about whites. His radicalization appeared to be similar to those who have joined ISIS looking for meaning in their lives. And like the Las Vegas shooter where nothing came together to tell the story the way authorities wanted it to, now there is this gang member in south LA going around stabbing people to death just as the political left thought they had everyone so scared of guns that they might support gun control. Even as these stories broke and reporters were scratching their heads as producers scrambled to find a narrative they could put on television, it was released that the Bruce Ohr 3025 was released which showed clearly that the entire Russian investigation into President Trump’s campaign and early presidency was a complete hoax ran by our own FBI. Our own government was trying to pick winners and losers in the election to shape our country not by representation, but by force. In effect, the FBI was acting no differently than the kind of evil shown by Zachary Castaneda or the Gilroy shooter. Yet we are supposed to deal with all that evil equally and for that, we must admit to ourselves that there is only one way out, and that is with a gun at our hips and an understanding of how to use them.

ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ: Understanding why America has a gun culture and to the level that it needs

Not that I ever questioned the meanings of our various constitutions, the United States one, and the one from my home state of Ohio, but it was good to read them anyway fresh off the calls for gun control that occurred recently in Texas and Ohio, even by members of the Republican Party. In some cases, it was even Trump supporters who were trying to justify new bans for “assault weapons” and mental health red flag laws. I’m glad that I particularly read the Ohio Constitution again because it is written so beautifully and is so clear on the matter. Guns were never gifted out by a nice government for target practice recreation. They are part of our constitutions both state and federal because there is likely going to occur many times in the history of our country a period where we would need guns to take back our government and instill new management. And with them controlling our military, people would need equal firepower to rise up against them and stop them. That is why there are 100 round magazines available for people to purchase and why there are silencers that sell next to beef jerky. Because we may need them to rip our government out of the hands of bad people and return it to a constitutional republic instead of some chaos driven democratic socialism that is hell bent on anarchy then total control of our way of life.

I am not one of those ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ types who are tattooing the words on my body or flying a flag in my garage warning off the government with the words “come and take it,” asking for a fight. The Greek phrase comes from the Battle of Thermopylae, which was recently popularized by the movie 300. It’s the battle where the Persian Empire of Xerxes was attacking Greece out of revenge for the previous defeat of a Persian emperor and they were met with a small force that did well as they were greatly outnumbered but ultimately fought to the death. Our modern equivalent to that statement and sentiment is “Remember the Alamo” for much the same reasons. In both of those cases the emphasis is on death and being outnumbered and I reject both of those ideas. In our present state, we outnumber them by a lot and I have no plans on dying. When you are better than they are, smarter than they are, and all other things are equal, why would we be the ones to die in such an engagement? So I am not one of those who use such phrases to articulate my position on guns. I’d rather them not come and try to take it because I wouldn’t want to hurt anybody.

However, what is being proposed by all sides of the political discourse on gun control as a result of these mass shootings is talk of government buy backs, and expanded back ground checks by the same government that obviously is doing everything it can to get rid of Donald Trump as president just aren’t on the table. For them to be we would have to trust our current government completely and just do whatever they tell us which obviously would be a dumb idea. I would argue that we are in a civil war right now. Donald Trump is the result of that war from my side against the government forces who have been making a joke of America for a long time. I prefer the election method as opposed to the armed opposition to something like what we have learned about the FBI, that they have been dirty cops picking winners and losers in the political theater, and they have been caught only because Trump was president. Many of us have known for a long time that such a thing was possible, but now we have proof. Gun control and more legislative turmoil isn’t even in the realm of consideration. We are one election away from open and hostile conflict similar to the first Civil War, the people against the government forces rather than North and South, so especially now, it is not the time to talk about gun control. We are presently fighting to keep our Republic intact from a socialist incursion. That is essentially the case of the mass shootings and why they are happening more often, the results of social decline similar to what we have seen in Venezuela. The gun violence is there to mask the Democrat failures just as Nicolas Maduro does in Venezuela.

It’s not that a liberal dog whistle was cast to inspire these Manchurian candidate type shooters to go on mass shooting rampages just hours a part in a period where Democrats are obviously losing in a big way to the Trump administration, and they needed to change the story. But all the kids who led these attacks are products of our liberalized public education system and are fringe leftists with limited intellectual development that I would consider deliberately functioning from clipped wings of brain development in our young people with bad educations, addictions to sex, and an over reliance on drugs, illegal and prescribed. Most of these modern victims won’t grow up to be mass shooters, but liberals know a certain percentage will, even if they don’t know them personally. It’s a numbers game and when those kids snap, Democrats are ready to make the tragedy an advantage for their side, and way too many Republicans are willing to share in the guilt and go along with the proposals to look like they are playing a bipartisan game. But its not about cooperation at all, its war and everyone knows that deep down inside. And if our government fails to protect our interests from internal domestic enemies, then we have to rely on our guns to hold our ground and take back what belongs to us—our country.

In my interactions with people, as I’ve said, I can read the Ohio Constitution or the federal Bill of Rights and understand the intent without a supreme court justice telling me what they mean. I get it, and I participate in the political system to keep the peace. I write on this blog and do many other things to do my part to keep things from getting out of hand, but to ensure that my side wins. And when I say my side, I mean the side of our founding documents and a rejection of progressive politics and the generalities of global liberalism. I also know that there are vast amounts of people who are tattooing ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ on their arms and across their backs and they mean it when they say, “come and take it.” Undoubtably when the police come to try to take their weapons away because they may be victims of some future “red flag” law they will turn them over without incident. But some of them will make the Waco incident and Ruby Ridge looking like a preschool coloring book project. There isn’t any outcome where America does like Australia or New Zealand, or anywhere in Europe and just gives over their guns and puts their blind trust into a government when we know better. Its just not going to happen.

What needs to happen as a result of these shootings is an educational issue, not a physical law that puts everyone back to sleep and gradually erodes the Second Amendment. Our founding documents specifically warn against just these kinds of intrusions on our liberties, especially by a political class that is so full of hatred and class warfare as the Democrats are. It was their activism that has turned up the pressure for which these shooters acted, whether we are talking about the psychedelic effects of marijuana legalization, broken homes where the mothers are married to government welfare checks instead of good, solid male role models, or failed liberal policies that have turned up the tension to the degree that potential mass shooters want to do something to help their “people” such as the Dayton shooter did. But their activism becomes our problem when one of these pimple-popping young people takes up guns and tries to kill a bunch of innocent bystanders. When that happens we have an obligation to stop them. And clearly the state is not equipped to protect us from such acts. We need expanded carry laws so that we can all defend each other on a moment’s notice. Because these killers are just getting started. I predict much more carnage rather than less, and the fault is in our education systems, not in the guns themselves. We have a failure of government and we are at a point where we need to replace it. We have taken steps to do so with Donald Trump. But that may not be enough. If that proves to be the case, we will need a lot more guns, a lot more ammunition capacity in our clips, and more power behind them.

More Mass Killings in California: But why isn’t the media covering it?

OK, so a loser angry at the world committing robberies and stabbing people to death across Orange County in two different cities occurred yesterday evening, around 4 PM in Garden Grove and ended at Santa Ana at a 7-Eleven. Four people died in the rampage and 2 others were injured, which is more than the latest California shooting incident yet there was no wall to wall coverage on the cable and network news outlets. It was hardly covered at all. The perpetrator was yet another young person, this time a 33-year-old tattooed freak. He was a white guy, we don’t know much else about him at this time, but unquestionably he was a loser. So why no coverage, doesn’t everyone care about the poor people who were killed? Well, unfortunately, no. The problem with this killing spree was that it was not centralized to an emotional center people could relate to, like a school, a bar, or a Walmart, and that it didn’t involve a gun. No gun legislation or “red flag” law would have prevented these murders. Rather, this is evidence of what I have been saying for a long time, and why we need looser gun laws, not stricter ones. This is a social problem and we will see more of it, and nobody can handle that, because they are all a bit guilty in this matter. You can’t pass a law to protect us from ineptness, which has caused all these social problems. And that is why laws banning guns in any way at all will never stop the mass killings. If lunatics like this guy in Orange County want to kill people, they’ll just grab a knife, or whatever is available.

I hate to be right about all these things all the time. I was talking about the dangers of socialism in our public schools before Glenn Beck had his show on Fox in 2009 which arguably fed the Tea Party movement dramatically. The concerns have always been there, it didn’t take leaders to bring about the dialogue. Rather the conversations were going to emerge regardless of any particular person, whether it was me, Glenn Beck, or Donald Trump. People could see these things coming and they were concerned. And for good reason. Now we are seeing what we were all concerned about. Young people in the millennial category are disasters, results of epic social failures, drug legalization, a breakdown of the family, a loss of religion, and explosive and irresponsible entertainment culture, terrible educations specifically liberalized which didn’t prepare them for the real world—I could go on and on all day long. The bottom line is that these people are now in our mainstream culture and are decision makers. They don’t have unifying music like we might have had growing up, they have chaos and anger and they’ve had it their entire lives and now they can use weapons and function without their parents, and they are dangerous.

There is no way to put the lid back on the bottle. This generation of violence is going to have to play out. These kids are going to have to get older and be replaced by a newer generation that isn’t as bad as they are. I see hope there, perhaps the young people coming of age during the Trump administration will be better since as a nation we are talking about these problems openly. As much as people are upset at all the divisive rhetoric on social media these days at least the talks are happening. For these young killers, including this 33-year old stabbing murderer, they grew up where only the left was speaking, and they thought that was the path of the future because that was the only side they heard. They weren’t proud of America because nobody was defending it ten years ago when these kids were in their formulative years. Drugs were being pushed. Crazy music. Homosexual themes, loose sex, no religion except for environmentalism, socialist economies, selfless activism to drive leftist agendas, all that was in full swing and these kids are the result of those activities and beliefs.

We see even now all the radical bra burning hippies who were outright flower children in the 60s who are now heads of newspapers, colleges, and the publishing world, they are as radical as they were as young people only now they are in charge. For the foreseeable future, these modern millennials will get better but they will still believe the same things as they get older, and they will be dangerous for at least the next 30 years. They could snap at age 21, or 33, or 55—we will never know no matter how much “red flag” laws are passed. We will be helpless to solve the problem because we never dealt with the real issue. The problem was behavioral change activated by liberal, progressive values and the reaction that the human being had on those values. When those values don’t match up to reality, of course they will be traumatized. And when they are traumatized and nobody can help them out of it, they will sometimes lash out in violent ways. So we might as well get used to it. You can’t outlaw behavior, obviously.

We’re not talking about everyone of course. Most everyone feels some kind of anxiety about something or the other. But it only takes less than 1% of these troubled young people to become mass murderers that everyone fears. What you put in your mind ultimately makes us all, and most of what these murderers will be proven to have in common was bad stuff put in, so bad stuff came out. You can’t have a society that does not value life, come out being good. If the things we talk about is how bad capitalism is, or how we should kill babies with abortion, or how we should get stoned to escape from everything, what kind of world do we think these kids are going to make once they are responsible. This loser in Orange County was behaving just like a player of Grand Theft Auto would. Don’t tell me that video games have no influence on the behavior of young people. That 2018 study they keep pointing to is just as truthful as the FBI trying to tell us they weren’t spying on the Trump administration or that they weren’t trying to instigate a coup of his government in favor of Democrats.

The bottom line is that we are there, we are at a time where we have made these kids and now we have to deal with them as a society, and not just for a few years, but for the next half of a century. It will take a long time to correct the course that all these liberals have created in our society without much of a defense by conservatives. And this is the result. Killers on our streets, violence everywhere and a society numb to the shock of it all. And a media that is so much as conspiring activists that they won’t cover these stories because it doesn’t fit the gun control narrative that they all want. Because they all have a sense of it, that when average everyday people realize what a mess all this has been and they want to know who is responsible, Democrats do not want a society of guns to come after them to change out the ranks of power. They hope that like other places in the world, they can maintain their positions once the public finally understands what has happened to their country. Some do now, enough people to vote for President Trump. But those numbers will grow as these senseless murders go without offerings of real change. That’s when the wheels will really come off, which I would say has already started well in advance of this latest incident. I saw the wheel wobbling long ago, and now its too late. We will have to deal with the results.

Democrat Policies Have Caused Mass Shootings: If we have Red Flag laws are we going to arrest all of them as potential terrorists?

Ahead of President Trump’s visit to Dayton, Ohio the Democrat mayor of Dayton was very disingenuous toward his intentions and toward guns in general. Rather than talk about the victims and the circumstances leading up to the recent mass shooting she made an open pitch for gun control which would have done nothing to stop the problem. Rather, the shooter was from her own political party and actually was an advocate for gun control. The shooter didn’t really care to live, and he knew that if he did conduct a mass shooting that the debate on gun control would rage, largely by his own making. So it was rather astonishing that Governor DeWine surrendered so quickly to appease gun control advocates when it was really political radicalism antagonistic toward President Trump’s successes that caused the violence. Yet nobody covered that issue. A few reporters tried to get the Dayton mayor to say something about the political motivations of the shooter, but she ignored the questions and deferred. Meanwhile, most establishment Republicans did exactly what Democrats wanted them to do really without any reason whatsoever.

Now rather than talking about the cause of the violence, everyone is talking about “red flag laws” which is a very dangerous platform. In the future, no matter what they say now, once we accept that red flags brought up by friends, neighbors or family are a means for preventing crimes then we have essentially entered the realm of the “Minority Report.” It will be the next level of social control which Google and Facebook are already performing for the government with censorship and is a direct attack not just on the First Amendment, the Second Amendment, but the Fourth and Fifth. Red flag laws are an absolute abomination of American law and serve only one purpose, by giving government more control for which they don’t deserve.

There were plenty of red flags surrounding the life of Conner Betts, but our government didn’t act on any of them. There were plenty of people including many mainstream reporters who were interacting with his extreme liberalism on social media, and he had a history going well back to high school that showed a propensity toward violence. Yet there he was running around in the world planning a mass killing. The solution to him was to have more concealed carry holders there on the spot to kill him within the opening shots instead of waiting for the 30 seconds that it actually took for the police on the scene to engage him. Because it was a nightlife district, there were plenty of police there with guns, so the carnage could have been much greater. But it could have been reduced even more if the engagement was within 5 to 10 seconds. I have a few guns that I carry that would have stopped that guy with or without body armor, and to be honest, in a society like the one we have now where moral conduct has lost its grip, that is the only solution for the short term, until we can restore some structure to our society once again. But we are a long way from that. Until we deal with the real problems, more concealed carry holders are going to be needed in traditional gun free zones so that we can cut down the reaction time from when a shooter reveals themselves, to when they are stopped. If politicians, especially on the liberal side of things don’t want Wild West shootouts in our streets, then they should have managed their cities better.

The Dayton mayor really made me sick over these last several days of news coverage. We have been talking about how Democrats are ruining cities and Cincinnati and Dayton are certainly no exception. I like both of those cities, but the evidence of Democrat leadership is grossly obvious. Yet the mayor only wanted to talk about laws like red flag and how to keep CCW holders from expanding into day cares. As she spoke it took everything I had to keep from leaping into the TV to explain to her that if we truly did what she wanted the entire Democrat party would have to be red flagged, because their rhetoric and activism against the flow of the nation makes them all a menace. Are we really going to arrest them all and throw them in jail because they “might” do something illegal and against the safety of society in general?

All liberals want out of these mass shootings are more laws that they can use later to get more control over all of us. Red flag laws once started will then be used to attack political opposition just as Google and Facebook use them now to attempt to control the First Amendment. Democrats are seeking to attack the entire Bill of Rights and they aren’t shy about it. And for most of us, we should see that as an open assault. Democrats in general don’t care about the people who died in these tragic shootings, they only want to see how they can advance their cause on the backs of them.

In Chicago, which is an important story, over 1500 people have been shot so far in 2019 to the date of this article. Most of those shootings have occurred in the south and west sides, which is filled with years and years of socialist government experimentation. The results have been a completely failed society that is obvious from the air when landing at O’Hara. There were 59 people shot the weekend of the so-called mass shootings. 7 people actually died which is just as bad as the Dayton mass killings, but nobody is talking about that with equal vigor. That is because the cause of the shootings are the results of Democrat policies and social tampering. Guns are already illegal in Chicago yet they have no control as a police force of how to stop those killings which are happening every day. More laws won’t do anything to stop the problem because the causes are in education, social safety nets and their effects, low moral conduct—no dads in the homes, drugs, and poor economic outlooks. Neighborhoods that are poor have generally adopted socialist policies over the years pushing capitalism to the suburbs which cause bad options for jobs and micro economies. High taxes, high government tampering into investments, and government run housing that nobody wants to live in are all contributing factors. To fix all those things we have to admit that it is liberal policies that have failed. No new law can mask that.

It is good that at least President Trump gets it and he showed as much on his visits to El Paso and Dayton. The political class under him are still functioning from unearned guilt, but maybe they will follow his lead and stand up for themselves. Red flag laws are already in place, but what are you going to do when we have an FBI and CIA who see and monitor this activity but fail to act. Yet Alex Jones and many other conservatives are de-platformed off social media for uttering nothing even close to the kind of rhetoric that Connor Betts participated in leading up to the shooting. The lack of attention to his activity almost look as if authorities wanted him to commit a mass shooting so that more anti-gun legislation could be enacted. That isn’t the kind of thing many of us would utter in the light of day, but we all think it within the confines of our minds. And it isn’t Democrats that are changing their tune, they are demanding that Republicans change. That is outlandish because it is Republicans who are offering and have been offering solutions. Democrats have been making them, and their lack of responsibility in the matter is truly astonishing.

Republicans Should Stand By Candice Keller: Playing into Democrat strategies will just get more people killed

This is the problem with Republicans, they don’t stick together when there’s trouble, and they allow themselves to wear unearned guilt on things like these mass shootings that occurred this week. I certainly don’t think Candice Keller who represents the 53rd District in Ohio should step down for comments she made about the shooting on her Facebook account. We aren’t living in that world any more, if we ever were.

Comments made in the arena of free speech, the First Amendment should not be grounds for termination, which is precisely how liberals have wanted to set the stage, and any Republican who thinks they are doing good by calling for Candice to step down, are feeding a vast evil that is undoing all social order. It doesn’t matter how much you salute the flag or tout a record of public service, or how valiant you may think you are, if you are so quick to throw someone like Keller on the trash heap for saying her opinion of what the cause of the mass shootings are, then you are just as bad as the Democrats.

Keller is running for the senate in Ohio and given all the effort it takes to do such a thing, she should probably reconsider so that this whole thing doesn’t prolong deep into next year. There will be other elections, but she certainly shouldn’t give up her seat as a representative of the 53rd District. Who can argue that the cause of these increases in mass shootings are not caused by a breakdown in family structure, as Candice said, and that recreational marijuana and violent video games are not the cause? I think it is laughable that the video game industry is citing a 2018 study which says there is no connection between violence and video games. I play them, a lot—and I can call bullshit on that from personal experience. If we want to accurately discuss the cause of mass shootings, then we need to have an honest appraisal from everyone. Calling for more gun control doesn’t even begin to understand the cause it only deals with the effect of the matter, and that won’t get the job done. Many of the things that Candice said in her Facebook post were honest reflections that should be investigated as a cause of mass shootings.

As pointed out by Martha McCallum who did a piece on Fox News that showed most of the mass shooters from 1969 to the present were male and without fathers is a jarring statistic that should be at the lead of every story. Instead, we are supposed to live in a world of gender neutrality and avoid speaking of the matter which is likely the leading cause. Additionally, as I have pointed out frequently, marijuana use by itself isn’t a positive thing for our society, yet again, most of these mass shooters are users of the drug. Combine the elements of marijuana with depression medicine which is all too common these days in young people, and we have the potential for lots of disaster. Its one thing to be accepting of social experimentation such as with homosexual lifestyles and intoxication as if those were values worth defending, but when people start dying over the results of these social experiments, it’s a serious problem worth analyzing. Keller as a state representative certainly represents my point of view. It is pretty weak for other Republicans to turn on her the way they have out of fear of being critical of lifestyles that are at the center of the core issue of mass shootings.

Hillary Clinton threw her two cents on the heap as well showing exactly why she isn’t president. She pointed out on Twitter that other places in the world don’t have mass shootings like this and they have their own mentally ill people to deal with. We don’t of course know what causes people to become mentally ill in all cases, we just deal with the result that it exists. She said the difference is that we have guns in America which then let mentally ill people go on these mass shootings. Well, we are a free society where many of the places she is talking about in the world are not. Guns equal freedom and that danger is part of the cost of having that freedom. Having a good military and a police force doesn’t go far enough in protecting those freedoms. We may want to give ourselves that illusion, but in essence, it is the freedom of each and every one of us to own firearms and to use them to defend ourselves that keep freedom alive. And we use the First Amendment to debate so that we don’t have to use guns to defend our positions. Once people are fired for things they say, then we are playing into a vile strategy that Democrats have been trying to impose on us for many years. Voters will decide whether they want Candice Keller to continue to represent the 53rd District. She doesn’t need to step down out of some sacrifice to the liberal left.

Clearly the liberals of this country want to remove the Second Amendment and the First by instigating violence and public opinion that can allow them to acquire power without bloodshed. These attempts have been made all through history, often violently, and this latest period in our timeline is no different. Only liberals don’t want to take power by force, but rather by sentiment. If they can get Republicans to do their dirty work for them, they will. But what Candice did isn’t much different than the way Donald Trump became president. The Party may want to toe the line which liberals draw, but voters don’t. That’s why they elected him specifically. And that’s one of the reasons that voters voted for Candice Keller.

If we don’t deal with the real problem of mass shootings then they will continue, which I have been warning about for a long time. I would offer that the cost of all this social experimentation that has been instigated by the liberal side of the political spectrum hasn’t just been uncomfortable, its been very destructive to the developing minds of our youth. And now that those disturbed young people are all grown up, they are dangerous as free people. Guns are a part of a free culture because it gives people the right to defend themselves from others who might want to impose on them in some way, either politically, or socially. But with that comes a basic understanding of social value. If we don’t share those basic values, then we are going to have conflicts, which obviously we do. In a lot of ways, and this was certainly true of the kid who committed the mass killing in Dayton, liberals want to provoke this kind of violence because it gives them the changes they want. Secretly they want to see these deaths because it drives their agenda. 50 people died over the weekend in Chicago, but we don’t see those people plastered all over the newspapers. We only see that there were two mass shootings that combined killed 29 people. Yet every weekend in Chicago where guns are illegal, about that many people die, and nobody cares. They don’t care because it is the failure of liberalized culture that is the cause.

To continue to wear that mask, and to divert attention away from themselves, Democrats have been using the kindness of Republicans to share in the guilt of these tragedies. But conservatives had nothing to do with the violence. Even the El Paso murders were driven by left leaning ideology. President Trump has never said to kill immigrants. He has simply resisted the liberal strategy of overflowing our borders so fast that we can’t deal with the processing of them because Democrats need the votes to stay in power. Its as simple as that. Any neo-Nazi type of person that may be out there are just another version of a liberal. The media calls them the “alt-right” but that is far from accurate. No conservative believes in racism and one race rule, only Democrats. Democrats supported slavery; Republicans ended it. Hitler was a socialist, certainly not a conservative. And many of the vile things that are going on in our country now are not the fault of Republicans who stand for family values, good decent public conduct, and honor among friends and neighbors do not share the guilt on the mass shooting problem. Democrats do and I thought Candice Keller gave her thoughts on the matter accurately, which should be protected under the First Amendment. Not punished and thrown away just because Democrats want her to be. Until Republicans realize that is the game, we are all playing, they will continue to be victims, and mass shootings will continue without resolution.

Yes, Conservatives Need a Rush to Judgment, Before the Evidence is Destroyed: When Democrats get Trump to yield, there isn’t anything else to stop them but new media

I do feel some sympathy for those who were trying to usher in calm after the two mass shootings. Cries for letting the police do their work and not rushing to judgment are nice, but in the climate of our current condition, not realistic. People forget, we are in as much of a civil war as we ever have been. These are times of war, not peace and our ideological future is being shaped moment by moment. So, time is of an essence under those conditions, and calling for calm is pretty unrealistic. By experience, we know that the mechanisms of continued government expansion will do whatever they need to in order to erase the memory of the personalities of the mass shooters. We often don’t hear much about them after they’ve been captured or killed. Motive especially if it makes the political left look bad is often dropped a few days after the incident, and evidence is often destroyed. We saw that spectacularly in the San Bernardino case where the FBI allowed the media into the home of the killers to actually trash the crime scene, because of the political sensitivity of the case. And after over a year of investigation, the Vegas shooter never had a motive associated with his actions, because the revelation of it would have been embarrassing to Democrats, and when it comes to law enforcement and their unions, they do support government that continues to expand their services as opposed to Republicans who don’t. Those are facts of life. So when these mass shootings happen, good investigators, these days it has to be independent media, must rush to capture screen shots of social media, and gather witness testimony before the authorities get rid of it, because that is the world we are living in now.

To insist that the police be allowed to conduct investigations of these shootings is like insisting that a fire burn down a forest. In both cases the police were able to end the shooter’s threat, but when it comes to anything outside of talking about the victims, the motive of the killers becomes a federal matter, and there are the beginnings of the problem with acquiring and understanding evidence. Therefore, the mass shootings become prolonged funerals remembering those innocently harmed and cries for some government measure of gun control instead of ever understanding why people would ever want to mass murder anyone. That makes the evidence the most important part of the cases and we have learned that we cannot trust the centralized authorities to tell the truth about the evidence, so we must rush to get it, before it is destroyed.

In this weaponized culture where ideas instead of guns are used to advance whatever political apparatus can gain an advantage, time is of an essence. If one side sits on the fence and allows investigations to take place, the other will pounce on the situation and seek to advance some new law that will harm the other. So there is no way that anybody can just sit around and take being blamed for something that they didn’t do. Conservatives must defend themselves because before the smoke even left the barrels of both mass shootings Democrats were seeking to capitalize off the tragedy. When one side speaks and the other doesn’t, the victor will always go to the aggressor. And we just can’t allow that to happen. When an attack is made on the battlefield, they must be met with force otherwise victory will be lost and given to those who are most aggressive, in this case it’s the gun grabbing Democrats. Sadly, President Trump felt the pressure to give ground on this issue which is why we always worry when a tragedy happens, that we must rush out to defend our rights in practice rather than defend them later with blood. Nobody wants that.

What’s even worse is that all the actions of villainy are coming from the left, including the instigation of the violence to begin with. So yes, conservatives must rush to defend themselves from the cries for more gun legislation. You could almost see the drool dripping from Sherrod Brown’s mouth during the press conference of the Dayton mass shooting. He knew that it would be hard for the president to avoid signing at least a background check bill when the shooter in Ohio had already shown himself to be a menace with his history. Does anybody think the state wouldn’t have granted him a gun purchase? If he wasn’t a red flag, who would be? Perhaps the definition of mental instability will be changed from what it is now to someone who writes a blog against government expansion, or a person who defends a community from increased taxes? The background check issue becomes very thorny very fast and while the news is showing all the victims of these tragedies inspiring people to do something to advocate gun control, the real motives for the killings are buried behind emotion and suppressed from public consumption except for the most radical conspiracy theorists.

Given all that, any right-minded person could understand why urgency is needed in these matters because the violence or potential for it is always there. But the political left will use anything, even if they are the cause to begin with, to advance their agenda, so there is always a race to defend conservative positions. Even President Trump can cave to the pressure and when he goes down, the political pro government forces that drive many of these events go for the jugular every time. That is the nature of the civil war we are currently in.

The open border people always planned to inspire socialists from south of the border to flood into America and turn states from red to blue. And while doing so, when people seek to stand in the way to stop the threat, the plan was always to call them racists to put them back on their heels into a defensive posture rather than have the confidence to fight back. When Trump states the obvious about the border and some dope smoking kid goes off the edge a bit and turns what many of us could handle with a simple debate into an act of mass murder then the pressure from the attack can be said to have worked its strategy. Democrats win, Republicans lose—and they lose because they can’t morally defend the violence attached to their position for which they had nothing to do with. By implication the guilt is hung over their heads and they wear it gladly, as good Christians. That is how the left attacks and why we must rush to defend ourselves from them.

Yet we know more now than we have about these things in the past. As society is failing many of these shooters giving them more reasons to attack, we are seeing more often how the government covers up the evidence of the real motives and how the corporate media structure will actually run cover for them. Knowing all that, the finger pointing will continue, it must continue. And if our president can’t defend the Second Amendment from Democrats who want to change America by its very nature, then a bloodier war will be on the horizon, that is more than just finger pointing, blog posts, and Tweets. Once a group of people seeks to take something from another group of people, violence should be expected. The immigration issue is purposely out of control, and violence was always bound to spawn off it. And the moment it did, Democrats were ready.

Unfortunately, most of the time we can’t trust law enforcement to present all the facts. They may stop the shooters, but the court cases thereafter are often buried on the 7th page of a newspaper and they don’t even make the television news cycles anymore. The evidence and motives are lost to history. Only the pain of the deaths is remembered, and it is that which then drives future legislation which erodes the Second Amendment. That is why there needs to be a rush to judgment and why the enemy must be met on the battlefield. Because the enemy does not want to save lives—remember, this is the same party that supports abortion even after a baby is born. They want to destroy the Second Amendment so they can gain control of the First. And from that perspective, rule us all. Which of course we can’t allow to happen.

The Democrats Hate Profit: Working against the American Flag for change none of us want

When people ask me why I am writing a book about business, specifically about the necessity of executive culture in all places of employment, called The Gunfighter’s Guide to Business, well, the debates by the Democrats that have taken place over two days during this past week tell the whole story. There are many aspects of American culture that have been pulled into this anti-profit path that was very obvious during the debates, and for those who do get it, they have forgotten why profit is important to our culture and really don’t know how to defend it from criticism. So, I feel compelled to help settle the matter any way I can. Although I have been talking about the socialist slide of Democrats for many years, and how our schools and most government interactions support the Marx theories, even I was surprised how open the Democrat candidates were to reveal themselves as socialists, perhaps even communists. Times have certainly changed and I’m not at all happy to have been proven right on the matter.

Profit is not a dirty word; it is a method of payment. Profit is how a company gets paid for services rendered, after they’ve covered all their other expenses. There needs to be something to benefit their time and energy on whatever it is they are making. If they are rich, then that means that lots of different people, or companies want to give them profit for the offerings they provide. Yet at the core of the Democrat platform that protests against the notion of profit is that very value system that points out good work from bad conduct. Bad conduct isn’t very profitable, so that value system is something that Democrats wish to get rid of, so they can continue to build a dependent class of people who will always vote them into power and if you think about it the whole notion of such a thing is disgusting.

Getting back to President Trump’s assertion that people who protest the American flag and the motives of American life should go back to wherever they came from, whether they are first generation immigrants or third, if you are not honoring the American flag and what it stands for, then probably you should go to a country that endorses your political theory. Because as American citizens we all have an obligation to at least agree on the basic foundations of American life and what they are. And what they are is that we are a for profit country that is always looking to expand as an economy. If we can’t agree on that basic thing, then we can’t be said to all love America. I don’t think people who protest the idea of profit could be said to love their country, not if all they want to do is to change it into something else.

I don’t think Democrats were always this way, I grew up around a lot of farmers and many of them were what we might call Kennedy Democrats. They were certainly flag waving Americans, they understood market prices for their crops and the needs to save up money to buy a new tractor or some chickens so they could have eggs because a fox got into the chicken coup. There may have been some of these Marxist type Democrats out there in the world, apparently in our universities and larger education system, but we didn’t see them at parades on the 4th of July and at Memorial Day festivities. This hatred for American profit is a new thing that I would say comes directly out of our education system and has been a massive failure based on how much tax money we have wasted trying to educate our next generation youth. If the result of all that money is what was on stage this week with Democrat presidential candidates, then the whole experiment has been a massive waste of time.

The debates were supposed to be a kind of job interview for an executive seat in our government to manage the country. It’s a CEO job in official function and the candidates should have treated it that way. But if you are all about anti-profit, then you really aren’t wanting to do the job as an American CEO of a high government title. You can’t have a political philosophy that wants to undo everything then turn around and declare that they deserve an equal seat at the table of consideration if what they are proposing seeks to destroy the country we all love. And that’s essentially what the Democrats want to do. Why would you want to change something that has worked so well for so many people? Their argument is that it doesn’t work for all people. Well, show me some other place in the world that does do better for all people, where so many diverse people can come together as they do in the United States and accomplish anything, let alone the most powerful economy on the planet. And the reason for all that goodness is that America is a country that supports profit, the work done by people well and are rewarded for that work in such a fashion.

Secretly what Democrats want is for the government to decide winners and losers for the power of the vote, not for the effort of hard work and good conduct. When they protest profit, they are protesting a reward system that promotes good behavior instead of a centralized authority. When the government is big and has the power to give out wages whether earned or not, we have fundamentally changed the nature of America into something else and that is a grounds for conditional action on behalf of those who love our flag as it is today.

I associate with lots of different people every day. Some of them come from all over the world and have lots of different ideas about how things should be. I talk to liberals even though they have values that seem like they belong on another world. And I know lots of people who call themselves conservatives at all places along the degrees of value. But what they all have in common which makes them so I can at least speak to them is that they understand profit and loss. None of the people on the debate stage for the Democrat representative for the Executive Branch of our government did, they were completely unrelatable and it makes you wonder if they are even aware of it. You would think they would be. But maybe they are so out of touch that they just don’t get it. And these are the best that Democrats have to offer?

It is further astonishing that this same group of people have made it so that we can’t even talk and that people like me are considered radical by their crazy definitions for things. Again, it is the education system that has paved the way for this mentality but when it comes down to real people working and living in the real world, the support doesn’t go too far for these radical ideas. So why do they have them? Because they just don’t get it? Or that they are so radical and polluted in their educations that they can’t see the forest for the trees? Or perhaps, and this is what I think, they simply hate America and want to destroy it for us all. That is the question of this election and our tolerance for it will be decided on election day.

What Comes Around Goes Around on the Wild, Wild Frontiers of Thought and Culture

It’s always a good day for me to attend the Annie Oakley Festival in Greenville, Ohio where I rejoin old friends and meet some new ones at that annual event always set during the last weekend of July. In many ways I am happiest during that period because the world is as I’d like it to be and I get to dress the way I’d like for the event. This year was a little different however because its one of those transition periods for me. I’m in the middle of writing my new book, The Gunfighter’s Guide to Business and have been working on several themes that were born right there in Greenville over the last several decades. As a lover of Ohio history and of frontier life in general I find great solace in the small towns up and down Rt 127, from Hamilton, Ohio all the way up Celina on the Grand Lake St. Mary. Lebanon, and Eaton come to mind as well, and of course Greenville itself nestled there in God’s country with the smell of corn dogs and ice-cold Coke offered from the various venders. But more than anything I enjoy competing with those old and new friends and pushing myself in ways that I don’t get to do in regular life, and the results are always rewarding, such as in this very close example shown below of our Bullwhip Fast Draw competition during the finals.

Yes, it’s fast. I have been practicing Cowboy Fast Draw for quite a long time now and have a pretty good feel for how fast is fast. The events shown in our Bullwhip Fast Draw are around .600 of a second down to about .450, almost as fast as the pistol shooters who were also there at the event. I spent quite a lot of time with them as well. Yet it amazes me how fast the Bullwhip Fast Draw competition has become, and how fast we have become in conducting all the various steps literally in the blink of an eye. For a lot of people, the blink of an eye is about .015 of a second. So, we are moving very fast these days in performing a task that really should be nearly impossible. But you never really know until you start pushing yourself with competition which is one of the big themes in my new book.

I am an optimist, really an unshakable one. I’ve seen more than my share of tragedy and heartbreak, but my optimism has always been intact no matter what’s going on. Over the years this Annie Oakley event has been that reset period for me that no matter what has been occurring, it gave me an opportunity to be around people who aren’t losers and activists of malice and just enjoy good people in a good flag waving country. Many years ago, I broke away from the entertainment aspects of my relationship with the western arts and went to apply my skills to real life problems, that were very controversial. It was quite a thing to do before Donald Trump was president, but now isn’t considered so radical, because the country is snapping back into shape, thankfully. The evidence is everywhere. This year at our Western Showcase event a really good Lone Ranger impersonator stopped by and did a show which I enjoyed quite a lot. As I listened to the Lone Ranger creed from him, I couldn’t help but think of myself and some of the decisions I had made along the way leading up to that moment.

In 2004 I released the book The Symposium of Justice which featured a bullwhip cracking vigilante that was at war with the corruption of his hometown. But in the years thereafter I found that many of my themes were quite real and that as an author, I couldn’t just write about them, I wanted to be the real-life character of my stories. So, I turned my skills to the real-life problems of my community and many reading here know the rest of the story. Up until Donald Trump emerged from the Tea Party to become President of the United States, I felt I needed to be the real-life characters I had written about. But that has changed due to the sudden shifting of the winds. The western arts no longer feel like a dying thing as it used to, but something that is reemerging and becoming new again. That makes me very happy. Not only does the world need it, but it confirms many of the things about people that I have long suspected and those are the clear contents of my new book that will likely come out next year.

It has been sad that so many people who still believe in things like the Lone Ranger’s Creed have stayed out of the fight that has needed to be fought. I couldn’t just sit around and think about it. I wanted to do something about it and I am proud that I have. But hearing the Lone Ranger impersonator go through the creed this year in front of our audience was for me very refreshing. Some of my favorite quotes are “That all men are created equal and that everyone has within himself the power to make this a better world.” And “in being prepared physically, mentally, and morally to fight when necessary for that which is right.” Or, “That God put the firewood there, but that every man must gather it and light it himself. Those are all good quotes and who could argue them? Well, Democrats for one, and many of today’s youth who get their morality from Grand Theft Auto rather than the Masked Man as they used to.

Another good day in my favorite clothes. #life #family

A post shared by Rich Hoffman (@overmanwarrior) on

That is why I love the Annie Oakley event so much. It is a break from the disappointments of today’s culture and the youth being born from it, from the primitive cravings of body piercings, tattoos and shaky morality. Of loose sexual standards and a proclivity toward drugs and intoxication. From lazy losers who want socialism over capitalism and champions of expanding government who will issue them mailbox paychecks for just sitting around and letting mother government drop food in their mouths without doing anything to deserve it. For one day a year I get a break from all that and I cherish it tremendously. If I could have every day like the days I get in the middle of God’s country every year in Darke County I would take it eagerly. Unfortunately, that is not our reality, but it should be. Most of the people who go and participate in those events there don’t have the same kind of reflections that I do. They just go and enjoy the festivities without giving it much thought. But not me, I see the potential and reflect on what we used to do well and how we could do it again. And perhaps a new day is emerging. Whatever comes I at least feel good about what I’ve done to make the world better, which I will always do. But I get the feeling that the world is getting more favorable to those grand old traditions and that the thugs and losers of life aren’t winning any more, they are being swept away into the garbage heaps of history, where they belong and that makes me the happiest of all. For the first time in many years I think that tomorrow will be better than yesterday, and that is very encouraging.

How can Americans Complain about Being Bored 8 Hours per Day when they Have Kings Island?

I really treasure summertime, especially in Ohio where I live. The change of seasons gives a really nice perspective to the story of a year. The spring and summer time period for me is by far the best time and Memorial Day in our culture is the launch of the summer season, even though it doesn’t officially begin until later in June. But this year was a bit different, my wife and I had a rare window to go to Kings Island after a hard week of work Friday night and the stars had lined up just right to have a wonderful evening. I tend to be a very positive person, so many of the things I observed that night might seem trivial, but I’ll share them anyway for the benefit of contemplation. This year since we go to Kings Island a lot my wife and I had the drink and dinner plans so we could eat at the new Miami River Brewhouse which is the new sit down restaurant in Rivertown and not worry about the typically excessive expenses of amusement part food and watch the Reds play baseball on one of the many big screen televisions hung around the establishment. As we ate, the Reds had beaten the Cubs in a really good game. And through the windows we could see the world of an amusement part through every window which made me think of how the rest of the world lives, which is not nearly so blessed.

My first thought sitting there in that fabulous place, which was a redesign of what in previous years had been a Cincinnati Reds themed eatery, was that everything was so grand. The building itself had been there a while, but for this new Brewhouse Kings Island had completely overhauled the place so it was filled with nice big tables and large areas to move around. In the corner overlooking the lake that Diamond Back storms through on its return to the loading station was a big, magnificent bar themed a bit like what we might think of as a wild west saloon. And that was themed to the general look and feel of Rivertown which is my favorite part of the park. It always has been but lately the people at Kings Island who make strategic decisions for these kinds of things have really embraced the wild west like feeling of that part of the park and themed it off the old history of the Miami Valley itself. And that theming has carried over into their new and classic rides, like The Beast, Diamond Back, the Train and the latest addition Mystic Timbers. When I have a really stressful day, which I had all that previous week, Rivertown is my favorite place during the summer to blow off steam and put my mind in a good place.

For me what makes me most happy in life is time to think, which is something I don’t get as much as I’d like. And turning an environment around from a negative one to a very positive one like Kings Island provides is a very helpful exchange. As I’ve made clear I strive to have above the line places to go and the point of Kings Island is to give that to people. I couldn’t help but think again how grateful I am that I live in an area that has one of these big amusement parks. I think often of Orlando because it’s a very optimistic city now with all the Disney Parks, Universal Studios and the many, many offerings from Kissimmee, Florida all the way up International Drive until you arrive at the south part of the city of Orlando itself. But for thrill rides, Ohio has the best between Cedar Point and Kings Island which Ceder Fair Amusements owns both. Under their care over the last several years of their ownership Kings Island has improved quite a lot and sitting in that Brewhouse I couldn’t help but see that they were doing a better job of making Kings Island on par with a place like Universal Studios and Disney than like a big carnival playground as it has been considered over the years. And to have something like that near where I live is something I am very grateful of, even though I have been going there most of my life.

I heard an alarming statistic a few weeks ago from a survey which indicated that Americans were mired in boredom 131 days a year, or otherwise stated 60.48 hours per week, 36% of the time available over a 7 day period. That is a baffling concept for me because I can’t say that I am ever bored. It does get on my nerves waiting for people I may have to interact with sometimes who don’t use the clock of the day as effectively as I do. Most of the time that is like minutes of a day, but 60 hours a week, which comes out to 8.5 hours per day. That is just a reprehensible statistic, especially when entertainment options that are out there include places like Kings Island. Part of the definition for boredom was reports of no fun time as defined by the participants as having too many full-time adult responsibilities.

This is obviously a mistake, this approach to life where what people consider having too many childish things in their life means that they are immature where in fact the opposite is true. By classic definitions of adulthood, it is expected that people rise above the yearnings of childhood and that is part of the problem. It should be the other way around. Childhood isn’t the problem, the belief that it is inferior to adult responsibilities of service to others as the primary objective is. Speaking for myself which is why I’m sharing these thoughts, I can’t think of any time that I am bored. In my ideal day, which I had previously before going to the Brewhouse for some dinner and to watch the ballgame before riding the roller coasters at Kings Island I had spoken to people in five different countries, played a little Red Dead Redemption on Playstation 4, read a third of a book as my days usually start at 4:30 AM every day and attended several important meetings that were all aimed at making money which I consider all those things equally important. What is there to be bored about? My problem is that I’d love to have 48 hours per day instead of just 24. Even then, I don’t think it would be possible to do everything I want to do in a day. And out of all those things, I don’t recall an abandonment of fun. Sure, sometimes I may get mad at something and throw a chair or kick in a door but in a lot of ways I find that fun, not stressful. It is fun to engage in the passions of life. Getting mad at something isn’t necessarily bad. To me it is just another form of happiness because the anger comes from a zeal for accomplishment which is a creative enterprise. It certainly isn’t boring.

I am certainly grateful for Kings Island. I do still play a lot and I don’t see adulthood as an opportunity for boredom. Most of us spend our lives wishing away our time so that we can become adults and buy the things we want and go where we want. It is sad that most of us spend 8 hours a day bored. I don’t think people in America should ever be bored. Responsibilities shouldn’t be looked at as a hindrance to happiness especially if you learn to play along the way. And places like Kings Island certainly make it easy to do just that. There are places in the world who could only fantasize about having such a place in their city, even well-established countries with decent economies and culture. Kings Island as much as we might take it for granted in Cincinnati, Ohio is a real benefit to have and I certainly did enjoy my visit there over Memorial Day weekend. As I always do.

Donald Trump is Fighting Back the way Teddy Roosevelt and Thomas Jefferson did

First of all, we are not a democracy, so dying in darkness has nothing to do with the current situation regarding President Trump and his declassification of the documents used against him politically by Democrats to attempt an overthrow of his election. We are a republic which requires smart people to prevail at the end of the day in a representative fashion to manage a country. This concept of “rule by the people” doesn’t work because not all people are smart or good at movement. A simple majority vote simply leads to communism then anarchy and really aren’t conducive to good government, which is really what is behind the attempt to destroy the Trump administration at the outset. Because people who essentially wanted to destroy the American Republic and replace it with something more socialist knew that Trump represented a turn away from the typical Democrat. So they did everything they could to destroy him and anybody connected with him.

I am happy every day these days, most of them anyway. Trump is running the country the way I have wanted for my entire life. He does and says what I’ve always wanted to see because anybody who looks could see what kind of game was going on in Washington D.C. They weren’t working for us as American taxpayers, they considered themselves above our station and that their political view of the world was rooted in making the presidency into a kind of king’s court for which they were members. The rest of us were mere peons, which I never accepted as a reality, and is the root of my political interest. I’ve always been interested in presidential politics, going back into my grade school days. While a lot of kids were trying to sneak of copy of Penthouse from the local bookstore that they were too young to purchase themselves, I was reading presidential biographies about life in the White House. They only ones who ran the presidency the way I thought it should be done was Thomas Jefferson and then later Teddy Roosevelt. I never personally had an interest in a president who just wanted to get along with everyone. I wanted someone who wanted to fight for a small government appetite at the top office, and Trump has clearly offered himself to perform that task so I feel a need to be protective of his efforts. As I talked about here many years ago, the Edmund Morris Theodore Roosevelt Trilogy which took many years to produce is one of the best collections of books on Roosevelt ever produced. I think President Trump however is far better than Roosevelt. But I was reminded of how important Roosevelt was with the very recent book by Dan Abrams called Theodore Roosevelt for the Defense which was just released a few days ago. It was a great book about the kind of character Roosevelt was and why he was important to American life at a critical time in our history.

And it will go down in history what a great president that Trump has been. Once the cameras get cold and forget about their daily ambitions to over-throw the country one news story at a time, Trump will be remembered as one of the best American presidents without question. And one of the most heroic moments of it won’t be the way he stood up to world leaders looking to sap us all dry anyway possible, but that he rooted out insurrection attempts within our own government. As Jefferson said, “The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against the tyranny in government.” Or how about this little gem of a thought, “I think we have more machinery of government than is necessary, too many parasites living on the labour of the industrious.” Or on the nature of republic government as opposed to just flat rate democracy, “Whenever the people are well informed, they can be trusted with their own government; that whenever things get so far wrong as to attract their notice, they may be relied on to set them to rights.” And this one is one of my favorites, “I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.”

I think we can all agree that Thomas Jefferson was hardly a crazy radical and was one of the greatest American presidents. Jefferson was well read and very interested in being a top contributor intellectually to the spirt of American government. And Roosevelt was much the same, he loved to read and was very, very educated. But while Jefferson liked to think and philosophize, Roosevelt liked to fight. He just thrived off conflict with other people which really improved our government for a while. He liked to fight so much that he stepped away from the Republican Party just to spite the party boss at the time and went on to help found the Progressive Party to get back at his rivals—which turned out to be a disaster. But that’s a story for another time. What matters is that he brought the will to fight and a vast intelligence to the White House and that held our government together at a critical time. Trump isn’t crazy about reading, but he is very smart and was excessively accomplished before he ever came to office and his love of fighting is very much an important attribute to his election. People like me voted for him not out of any desire for racism, or ignorance. I doubt there are many people on the political left who are as accommodating of ambition no matter what country it comes from as I am. And I seriously doubt many of them read as many books as I do, or write about the benefits of our republic as me. And I will say gladly that the insurrection against President Trump can’t go unmatched. He has to kick some ass, I expect him to, as do millions of his supporters. That’s why we elected him. Its better to have the fight legally through elections than with guns in the streets, which is where we were headed. I have no intention of accepting any form of socialism in our government. What we do have I consider unacceptable. More of it simply isn’t an option.

This is exactly the moment I talked about a few years ago, where I stated that the Democrat Party likely would come to an end. They can only rule by force, and by cheating because the American people who are actually smart are not with them, regardless of political ideology. Even with the incubation contributors of colleges toward liberalism, and our horrendous public education system which is essentially a 12 year advertisement for socialism, there were enough people who supported Donald Trump for president because of all the reasons we knew of regarding a government that had lost touch with what they should have been doing as elected representatives all along. The Democrats had lost that connection more than anybody, and as I said, I don’t think they’ll survive. And with how they all collaborated to remove Trump from office, there were many crimes committed, and that will bring them all to a much-deserved end. And the beginning of that end was the Trump declassification of the documents that prove all their plots of insurrection to be true. Now William Barr has the green light to bring the Justice Department down on those insurgents and they will get everything they deserve, because we elected a president who wouldn’t just take it. But would fight back the way we have always wanted to.
