Payton Manning’s Remarkable Comeback Story: Why the FDA is against stem cell research

For the Superbowl this year, even though I like and admire both teams, the defense of the Seattle Seahawks, and the offense of Payton Manning on the Broncos—it is the Broncos that I will be rooting for.  During the football year of 2011, Manning was forced to sit out the entire year and watch from the booth in Indianapolis as his football career appeared to be over with a neck injury that appeared irreparable.  Yet Manning, with the same resiliency he shows in all of his football games was determined to never say die even when the odds were very much against him.  He calmly made arrangements to have his injury fixed with stem cells returning a year later to a new team with the Denver Broncos having a strong season.  The very next year, he has taken that franchise to the Superbowl—a feat they would not have achieved without him.  Payton Manning singlehandedly cared the team on his back and with leadership that is very unique.  He took a team that would otherwise be average—to the most coveted sports event of the entire year—a Superbowl.

There was a wonderful article on this stem cell procedure which I thought was of interest to my readers here at Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom.  As my frequent readers know, I am very excited about the cures for cancer, the regenerative growth technology that is happening in the medical industry, and other exciting developments in stem cell research that are currently underway.  If Manning had followed the rules in The United States dictated by the FDA, Payton would have found his NFL career over two years ago.  He would not be playing in a Superbowl, and Denver would still be struggling to find an identity after their experiments with Tim Tebow.

The entirety of that article can be found at the end of this article for cross-reference but the gist of it is this–Peyton Manning, first injured his neck in a game against the Washington Redskins on October 22nd, 2006 after his helmet was ripped off by Andre Carter. Manning played relatively pain-free the next few years but reinjured the neck in 2010 and soon found himself without his characteristic arm strength. Ultimately, Manning decided to go under the knife in May of 2011 to have surgery on a herniated disk that was thought to cause the pain and weakness. In the weeks following the operation, the NFL’s most marketable player appeared to be on the road to recovery1 but he suffered another setback in the summer of 2011 necessitating a second, far more serious operation: cervical spinal fusion.2 But before he had the procedure, Peyton Manning did something truly bizarre.

Shortly before the spinal fusion, Manning travelled to Europe to have stem cells harvested from his fat tissue so they could be injected into his injured neck. Upon learning of this unusual procedure, I had two questions: 1) Why did he do this? and 2) Why was it done in Europe?

Stem cells are those undifferentiated cells that, like Daniel Day-Lewis, can seemingly turn into anything. They can be harvested from bone marrow, the umbilical cord, blood, or fat tissue – plucking them from fat happens to be technically easy and relatively painless – and through the secretion of growth factors can aid in cartilage and bone regeneration. There’s no definitive evidence that stem cell injections actually work for the kind of neck injury Peyton Manning had, so when it was leaked that the quarterback had undergone the procedure, there were more than a few skeptics.

A professor of bioethics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine called Manning’s decision “an act of desperation” and Dr. Lawrence Goldstein, director of the stem cell program at the University of California, San Diego said, “It is impossible to know whether the ‘treatment’ will make Manning better or worse or merely financially poorer.”

Well, at age 37, Peyton Manning just had the best season for a quarterback in the history of the NFL. But was it because of the stem cells or in spite of them or unrelated entirely? It’s still unclear. Proponents of the procedure call Manning a poster child for stem cell therapy, while critics say he required a subsequent neck operation precisely because the stem cells didn’t work. (Manning has not commented.) While that argument plays out, a more interesting question remains: Why did Manning have to go to Europe for the procedure? The answer has to do with the FDA and how one defines risk.

A patient can either be consented individually (by signing a form, typically) for a medical procedure—like neck surgery—or exposed to an unconsented risk where regulatory assurances are already in place, like the FDA ensuring that your painkiller is potent, safe, and pure. But where do stem cell injections fall on the consent/risk spectrum? Is the injection of your own cells more like having a surgical procedure or more like taking a drug? Because there is no mass production or distribution involved, many doctors think the risk of stem cell injections is more like having surgery; it can only be estimated by the clinician who is providing the therapy, and it is up to the patient to weigh and ultimately accept the risk and provide consent. The FDA disagreed with this line or reasoning and in 2006 ruled that a patient’s own cells should be subject to the same regulation as mass-produced drugs. Peyton’s stem cells were essentially no different from a medication you’d pick up at the pharmacy.

The outcry from medical organizations was swift, and included critical statements from the American Red Cross and the American Society of Clinical Oncology, which objected, “in the strongest terms to FDA’s proposed regulation of stem cell transplants. This misguided proposal is unnecessary…and exceeds FDA’s legal authority…stem cell transplants are medical procedures. Their use is the practice of medicine, not the manufacturing of a drug as FDA asserts.”

The FDA’s ruling meant Peyton’s own stem cells fell under the purview of the FDA and were suddenly wrapped in red tape. To avoid any possible bureaucratic delay, he simply went to Europe to have the procedure done there. Manning didn’t have time to wait for the FDA or more testing of the procedure, he needed to get back on the field before he was too old. Now the presumptive MVP may be headed for the Super Bowl after a record-setting season. Was it because of the stem cells? Who knows, but the likelihood is that many more people—not just pro athletes, but weekend warriors—will be wanting to go to Europe to have this done, and Peyton won’t just be the face of junk pizza and DirecTV, but of an unproven medical procedure and skirting FDA regulation abroad.

http://regressing.deadspin.com/what-the-hell-did-peyton-manning-inject-into-his-neck-1502352128

The American government is killing people because of their intense regulations and causing many millions of others to be ill when they don’t need to be.  The Peyton Manning story should be a lesson to us all of what kind of medical potential exists, but aren’t options because they threaten the power of the pharmaceutical lobby.  As the world watches Peyton Manning in the Superbowl finalize a 2013 season remember that Manning would not be able to play that game if he had followed the recommendations of the American government and the ridiculous rules of the FDA.  Look at your own aches and pains and remember the loved ones who painfully left your life through death and illness and answer your own question………………………..why?

The answer is because the FDA wants people sick—so they can stay relevant and keep everyone buying drugs at a pharmacy protecting the drug companies.  The option of stem cell research threatens those drug companies by making it so that people could be healthy, instead of always sick.  There is more money to be made off sick people than healthy ones.

For all those reasons……………….I am rooting for Payton Manning…………….one more time.

BATKID Saves the Day: The power of fantasy, mythology, and hope to cure illness

I have heard for as long as I’ve interacted with people how my enjoyment of fantasy is an escape from reality brought upon by a desire to not deal with the facts of circumstance.  People who desire that the earth is only 4000 years old because thinking outside of those parameters wrecks the foundations of their very lives—do not like things that rock their boat of perceived reality.  They are often content to view the world as it has been prepared for them by politics, public relation firms, and religion—and react with disdain toward those who wish to think outside of those boundaries.  I find such people grotesquely ignorant, small-minded, and foolishly reckless to not only their lives, but those who they come in contact with.  The older I get, the more I despise those people.  They are detriments to intelligence.  Fantasy is the vehicle to take the mind out of circumstance and into places where new ideas are born.  In the context of intelligence the need for fantasy, imagination, and out-of-boundary thought is the specific human need for mythology.  Dogs, cats and gold-fish have no need for mythology—they are driven by the basic need to eat, dispose of their waste, and reproduce.  Nothing else.  The human being thinks—giving mythology a much more important role to their vivid imaginations bringing logic and fantasy together to consider “what if.”  This important process was never so brilliantly exhibited than in the Make-A-Wish Foundation story of 5-year-old Miles Scott who is currently in remission from leukemia.  Watch this!

It would be difficult to be alive and not have heard this story as the media blitz on it was ferocious.  The other day during the interview I did with Matt Clark on WAAM radio, I brought up the kind of things that unify people who appear to be radically different.  We talked about the “Tapestries of Ideology” and once they are removed from their lives, common ground can be achieved.  One of the most powerful “Tapestries of Ideology” is the power of mythology to overcome the ignorance of political boundaries.  This is often what happens in a Star Wars movie where I find I have as much enthusiasm for George Lucas’ creations as Arianna Huffington does.  She is a radical progressive, I am a staunch conservative—but we both love Star Wars for many of the same reasons.  We both love the plight of the rebellion against an evil empire.   She envisions that government should be the way that fairness is given to human kind, and I see it as the destroyer of mankind.  That is where the tapestries of ideology come into play where the color, shape, size and all other factors that go into those ornaments are shaped by society, education, and history.   But the mythology of Star Wars has the power to extend beyond those tapestries to the actual truth—which is why I always emphasis the importance of mythology in society.  It is far more important than politics, or reality as it is shaped by orthodox sources like The New York Times, The Cincinnati Enquirer, or the nightly local news.

As much as I despise President Obama, I shared with the guy a love for little Miles Scott.  As much as I think San Francisco is a haven for progressivism, I loved that much of the city turned out to help make Miles Scott’s wish to become a superhero into a reality.  Because of the little fellow’s intense desire to be a superhero like the mythical Batman—this is where fantasy can take the mind out of the grim reality of a situation to take mankind to a higher place.  Reality says to this child that he has leukemia and that he will die.  Mythology says to this child, there is hope if you can become a superhero—so the survival instinct of Miles Scott chose life over death—and to fight instead of accepting his fate.

Thank God for the Make-A-Wish Foundation showing an interest in this child.  But more than that, thank God the politicians of San Francisco joined in the effort with an army of similar volunteers.  I have never seen such a fine example of the power of myth applied to reality.  Out of all the characters that Christian Bale will ever play, none will be more important than his Batman character because none will ever obtain the ability to pull a city like San Francisco together the way that mythology did.  It started with the fantasy of Batman and his ability to overcome personal issues to fight crime in the actual comic.  Then Miles using that mythology to ask the question “what if.”  Then it took the Make-A-Wish Foundation to give the kid a chance at his dream while he is still healthy and alive—before leukemia attacks him again.  Then it took normal every day people to help make that fantasy into a reality for little Miles.  But in this case, Miles Scott was the focus—the reason for the event, and in a metaphorical way, he saved not just San Francisco—but the entire nation.

Make-A-Wish does this kind of thing all the time.  They are a great organization.   Recently they made a child in Anaheim Batman’s sidekick Robin and a Seattle child a secret agent.  But before they can organize such things Make-A-Wish needs creative people to plant the seed of hope into the mind of a child so that something greater than their circumstance can be comprehended—so that they can make a wish.  This is why superheros, comic books, fantastic movies, and big ideas expressed creatively are so important to us all.  For many kids not suffering the way that Miles Scott is, the same power holds for them as well.  Superheros like Batman are good for the healthy as well as the sick and give hope where reality provided none.

The reason I get so damn mad at those who proclaim that fantasy is an escape from reality is that they are essentially saying that the world would be better off without these influences.   They believe that reality was shaped by the politics of the Greeks and solidified by religion 2000 years ago—and that is just stupid.  Those periods were just small steps in human progress toward creating a mythology that pushed up against the limits of reality to seek something more than the world currently provides.  In the case of Miles Scott and the massive world-wide fanfare that ensued from his desire to be Batkid for a day, somewhere a scientist determined that nobody should suffer death by leukemia.  Likely long after Batkid has come and gone from this earth, there will be a cure that was inspired by Miles Scott’s Make-A-Wish dream and the saving of lives won’t just be a fantasy played out on the city streets of San Francisco.  It will become a new reality—inspired by fantasy and a new ceiling of human limitation will be revealed—and we will all be better off for it.

That is the power of myth, and the beauty of defying reality through fantasy.  Miles Scott saved society for a day by removing the “tapestries of ideology” which divide us all, and put the question on the table—why, and how can “I” fix it?

That! Is Christopher Nolan’s next film……………………..and I will be going to see it!

Joan Powell Was Thinking About Me: The start of a long born strategy

Did retired school board member Joan Powell and newly elected Lakota school board president Julie Shaffer really think that attacking me for going on WLW all the time illuminating the many mistakes made in public education—that the pressure against them would go away if I were not quoted on the mainstream radio and newspaper anymore?  Did they think that if television stations stayed away from me because I made “incendiary” comments about women and the kind of idiots who typically join PTA groups that they would gain strategic positioning?  Did they really think they’d change the dialogue using traditional tricks which I was well aware of—and used to my advantage?  Apparently—they were just that stupid and continue to be as they are apparently bewildered by the large number of conservative leaning school board members entering into the public education management of districts.  Here is a quote from Joan in a recent Michael Clark article in The Cincinnati Enquirer.

Still, recently retired Lakota school board President Joan Powell – a 16-year board veteran and one of the most influential school officials in the region during her tenure – wonders whether the publicly stated goals of some new board members match their political agendas.

“Unfortunately some of these individuals are not just interested in reducing expenses and maintaining taxes at their current level. There are those that have a goal to destroy public education as it exists – government schools, they call them – and use anti-tax and pro-voucher issues to reduce funding to schools to help reach that goal,” she said.

“A lot of damage can be done during a four-year term. By then voters should know what they stand for and whether (board members) are working in the best interests of the school district and the voters.”

 http://news.cincinnati.com/article/20140121/NEWS0102/301210029/Fiscal-conservatives-rule-more-local-school-boards?nclick_check=1

Damage for whom—tax payers or education empire builders?  The damage Joan is talking about is for her view of education, which is corrupt and devastating for American enterprise.  So that’s a good thing when people like her are on the out.

Here’s a news flash that they and a whole bunch of others in the mainstream media and government school gate keepers have neglected to consider—that a plan hatched many years ago by a small number of Southern Ohio education reformers is just now manifesting into reality—and what they are seeing is just the beginning.  If they think for a second that everything is going back to how public education was in the 90s and 2000s, they are sadly—and pathetically mistaken.  Labor union domination of public education is ending and they are fighting to preserve a way of life that is out-dated, and destructive to American education not just in name—but actual function.

I know of about 80 different elected officials who visit this site—Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom about 3 times a week.  There are even more who read here that consider running for an office and use the encouragement they receive from these words to pursue those objectives. Whoever thought that I poured so much work into 1500 word daily articles to appease the fools who have the mind of an egg-shell, and the patience of a shooting star—that the kind of people who enjoy tabloid magazines and television were my target audience?  Whoever was so naive to think that each and every step over the last four years was not a carefully considered chess match where even the controversial elements were calculated to the maximum effect with deep psychological impact highlighting issues at many levels?  I’m pretty good at chess—at strategy—and managing people.  Sometimes the most important work is not in front of the camera or behind the microphone but in arranging an army of such people to do those tasks instead of just one person.  Initially, you have to lead by example so that they can see how things should be done—but once they learn—they can then take the effort and run with it independently.  Wasn’t it clear that was what was going on?

Apparently not.  When Joan said, “Unfortunately some of these individuals are not just interested in reducing expenses and maintaining taxes at their current level. There are those that have a goal to destroy public education as it exists – government schools, they call them – and use anti-tax and pro-voucher issues to reduce funding to schools to help reach that goal,” she was thinking about me.  The more I worked with Lakota, the more I hated government schools—and that is a term that I have increasingly used.  If I were to run for school board I could not sit next to Julie Shaffer to manage the district without major, major confrontations—MAJOR confrontations.  If left to me, public education would be defunded and eradicated replaced by free market options where the government was not involved at all.  But I am happy to let people who do not feel quite so strongly join school boards and fight the good fight in a more civil manner.  I have more impact with more people not being an elected representative as opposed to locking horns with someone like Julie wasting my time on something that is already dying on the vine.  In 15 years, what will any of her arguments matter?  If other people wish to engage in that argument—that is good—but I am more effective elsewhere.  The strategic position for this matter is not behind a name plate—but here.

The kind of people like Julie who organized the media blitz with the Enquirer to come after me personally should never be involved in educating children. CLICK TO REVIEW. They are not competent and are only given that ability with a government monopoly.  I will certainly never forgive Julie for what she tried to do to me—or Joan.  They used the collective entity of Lakota to satisfy their inner desire to be relevant socially—to mask personal mistakes—and to achieve that they needed to get me out of their way so management of schools could return to the unions at the cost of children’s minds—and they’d stoop to no low to achieve it.  Did they think that I’d give up and just retreat?  Did they think that more would not join the fight with me?  Yes, that is precisely what they believed.

The Enquirer should have seen this coming.  I explained it to Clark in great detail September of 2010.  I layed all this out for him in my back yard while I was cutting targets with my bullwhips and he had his photographer snapping away pictures.  I knew as I spoke that he was scheming to build me up so that he could take me down again the way he and others did with Arnie Engle in Fairfield.  So I let him take the bait and run with it.  My plans were different—when the moment came—more than just I would move into strategic position to affect change.  So whatever schemes Clark had in mind would be useless in the long run—and I knew that.  He didn’t understand it just as Joan, and Julie Shaffer didn’t get it.  They actually thought by pandering to their latte sipping fat ass, guilt ridden, bitchy voting base that they could continue forever the scam of public education.  Well, obviously they can’t.

Sure they won their last levy at Lakota by manipulation and wasting hundreds of thousands of tax payer dollars to move the needle just a few percentage points with a wear-down tactic taught in Columbus to school board members.  But it’s a short-term victory as the ship they have fought to keep afloat is sinking.  Many of the districts mentioned in the Enquirer article, such as West Clermont—where I know quite a few of those people there—and they are readers here and have been for years now—the proof that schools waste tax money on teacher unions, and scam ridden politics will be exposed destroying the myth that higher taxes make for a better community.  And that is what people like Joan and Julie are worried about.  Ten years from now they will be shown to be wrong in their assertions about education and neurotic in their approach—and it will be embarrassing for them.

I will make damn sure of it—that everyone remembers.

We’re just getting started folks…………this is far from a completed strategy.  But we’re only about four years into it.  Another four years will yield even more results not in their favor and bitching about it like this news is “new” won’t take away the blunt edge of reality.

The Fur Coats of Marcella Sills: Second handed progressives and their policies of stolen value

New York City is a utopian dream.  That is the point Doc Thompson and Skip LeCombe were making on The Blaze Radio Network.  New York is the safe haven of progressives; it is the result of their policies, philosophies and influence.  New York is the result of progressive authority so if it were so great—it should be “perfect.”  Yet the reality of the situation is far from it, New York has some real trouble and the fault is squarely on the shoulders of progressives.  This has never been more obvious than in the public education industry—and specifically a school in New York City.  Public School 106 in Rockaway, New York is one of the most poorly run schools in the United States and is the embodiment of what happens when progressives are able to make the world into their image.  It is run by Marcella Sills, a 48-year-old club hopping socialite who spends more time in her fur coat and BMW than she does on her job which she seldom even shows up for.  When she does come to work it is past 11 AM.  The classrooms are infested with vermin and the smell of urine, there are few substitute teachers, and the kids frequently watch movies all day instead of learning anything—while Marcella Sills makes $128,207 off the American taxpayer.  Listen to Doc and Skip address this very serious issue on their very popular Blaze Radio Network show on every day from 6 AM to 9 AM all over the world.

Thus, public schools to some degree or another are the net result of progressive policy and the faults now being seen so grotesquely in our modern society is directly their fault.  They own the poor performance, they own the treachery of the teacher unions, the sexual molestation of students, the bullying, the sheer stupidity, the apathy, the broken budgets—progressives own all the troubles because they created them first hand.

Of course as a middle-ager I have been in many personal circumstances where I have had success with something, then others trained in progressive concepts has attempted to loot off my efforts and then sign their name to my success.  My standard policy is the moment this happens I put down my work and let the looters choke on their own bad decisions.  I do not allow them to loot off my efforts so that they can appear to know what they are doing.  I do not support “group” circle jerk endeavors where progressive concepts are allowed to sap the strength of my ideas.  The moment I see it, I remove my influence and let the parasites choke on their own bad policy and stupidity.  I do not let them use me as a shield from reality.  I step aside and let them feel the full impact of their poor decisions.  To do anything else would be to allow a deception.  The same holds true for large organizations like public schools.  To allow public education to hide behind the good efforts of a football player who is exceptional and earning scholarships all over America, or the parents who truly love their children and want what’s best for them—public schools often hide behind such exceptions and sign their name to their success as a collective enterprise.  They say often—“we produced the star athlete,” or the child who achieved honors for academic aptitude. The individual efforts of the athlete or the loving parents are almost always ignored in favor of collective salvation.

However in New York, the haven of progressivism, there aren’t many people of quality to sap off of so progressives are left unshielded from reality.  Most  of the good people have left and moved to more conservative areas of the country leaving only losers, malcontents and progressives to run the entire endeavor—and the evidence of their work is eye-popping obvious.  Marcella Sills might as well be Michelle Obama, or Hillary Clinton—they are all progressives who are nothing but leeches off of society.  If they look good in their nice clothes are fancy cars it is not because of their skills, their personal aptitude, but because they have benefited from taking from others and reaping the fruits personally.

Much was made of Michelle Obama’s recent 50th birthday and how good she looked.  The American media addicted to European royalty wanted to make her into something she’s not—a goddess of progressive ideals—but all she is–is a simple thief.  Neither of the Obamas currently in The White House could be plopped down in a business situation and make it profitable.  Neither has the skill to assess human potential or find a profit margin in a task that only exists in a mind and that makes them functionally worthless.  So they become members of government so that they can earn through the IRS the ability to steal worth from people who create it and provide the illusion that they are people of success too.

When Marcella Sills arrives late almost every morning to her rat infested school in her fur coat and night club clothing fueled by her six figure salary she is stating to the world that she is a success.  She is so successful that she can come and go as she pleases in her BMW.  But she is nothing but a looter—only at Public School 106 in Rockaway, New York there is nobody to steal value from.  The teachers, the students, the parents, the politicians are either all progressive, heavily government dependent, or being taught to be—so there is nobody of any value to steal from leaving Marcella grossly exposed as a fraud.

For more times than I can count I have been asked by people who think they are superior to me—socially, politically, financially, or even intellectually—how do you know how to judge the talent of people, how do you know how to recruit, how do you know how to see something that does not exist yet so clearly.  I am often good about these kinds of encounters and often try to teach people so that they can do for themselves.  Sadly, often this is not what is going on.  The interrogators are simply wanting to steal my recipe so that they can put their name on my concepts.  Of course they are willing to share the credit with me until they can politically push me aside later—or so they believe.  But I never allow it, and their failures are predictably on par every single time.  I can almost name the date on a calendar when they will fail if I take away my input—and deep down inside they know it.

That is when the word “team” comes out of their mouths—“it’s good for the team, the organization as a whole—if you tell me how you did this—or that.”  But it never is—its only good for them so that they can steal value and hide their incompetency behind it.   From my vantage point, it is best for an organization to understand where they are failing and to expose the problem areas by preventing the looting of value from others.  In this way an organization can have success by spotting the personnel that is robbing its strength.  Public schools have no such dynamic—so they perpetually must rob money from the tax payer to inject their institutions with value that they do not have—and can never get.

Marcella Sills, or Michelle Obama cannot make value where it doesn’t exist.  Just because they have a fur coat paid for by tax payers, or their own private airplane to fly around the world—they are simply second handers—people who cannot live without the aid of others to help them.  Their lives are second handed and totally reliant on some primary to initiate everything.  All they are able to do is loot off the existence of those who create.  In New York’s public schools where such value is lacking—the buildings and social structure are failing miserably—because there aren’t enough people of value to steal from leaving Public School 106 in Rockaway, New York a dump vacant of a mind or caring soul to save it from people like Marcella Sills.

It is time for everyone else to do what I have suggested and that is to remove their value from such institutions and allow those collective organizations to choke on their own failure.  The best thing for children is to see the contrasts clearly between those who have value and those who do not.  To allow a lie to continue is to allow a system that is corrupt by progressive influence to loot off the efforts of the good—which doesn’t teach children anything but how to grow up and become looters themselves.  It’s not always so easy to see in places like Lakota, or Beverly Hills where people of value and wealth live—but behind the scenes running all these places are incompetent fools like Marcella Sills.  The only real difference is that Sills is running a school where the entire population is progressive, where other places that are wealthy have a portion of the population that can be stolen from in value propping up everyone else.  The behavior is the same—and so are the results.

Meryl Streep and the Poop Particles of Doom: The progressive attack against sanity

After listening to Meryl Streep attack Walt Disney while honoring Emma Thompson’s rabid feminism, it does not surprise me that many men these days seem to prefer the stinky exit of the human body’s digestive system as opposed to a heterosexual relationship with these modern “man hating females.”  But I am not one of those guys.  Even the vilest feminist is a better option in my book.  As progressives would label such a position “homophobic” I would call it sanity, clarity in thinking, and the best option available.  Some people have phobias of spiders, some of snakes, some of heights—mine has and always will be that of the poop particle.  I have one real fear out all possible fears and that is of the remnants of material left over after the digestive process.  I have never liked seeing cow patties on my grandfather’s farms, I hate watching dogs defecate—and worse yet—eat it—and I have absolutely no desire to ever pursue an orifice that creates such matter in pursuit of sexual pleasure.  With that hatred of poop particles in mind, this educational film from the late 1950s reflects my impression of the “homosexual.”

The same people who have communicated this same-sex type of lifestyle are the same people talked about in my article yesterday attacking monogamous marriage.  They have an agenda and from my vantage point it is destructive—and disgusting.  CLICK HERE TO REVIEW.  It’s not that I want to return America to the 1950s.  For me, that period of time was too liberal.  I’d prefer 1750 to about 1790 myself, but that’s just me.  In that video shown above, I wouldn’t even tell a kid to inform a teacher—as the parent is the last and only line of defense that matters in a child’s life.  But in the video at least the film makers addressed the kind of threats that might come to a child so they could learn to defend themselves from the vile acts of adults who are clearly screwed up in the head.

We live in a society where declaring that sex which involves fecal matter is healthy, proper, and naturally good.  If anyone disagrees they are called a “homophobe.”  This behavior has paved the way for the child raped by his teacher in Michigan.  CLICK TO REVIEW.  Likely, that teacher wouldn’t have even been a teacher in the type of society ran by those who made the homosexual video above, as that society would have spotted his antics in the light of day.  As things are today, nobody is comfortable calling out any kind of homosexual behavior that might lead to abusing children, because they don’t want to be attacked by progressives calling them “homophobes.”  In 2014 that is nearly as bad as being called a “sexist.”  If you don’t support feminism, you are a “sexist.”  If you don’t support poop particle sex, you are “homophobic.”  Both carry a social stigma created by a progressive establishment and those types are directly at fault for creating scenarios where teachers like the one in Michigan have the ability to destroy the lives of his students.  The fault is squarely on their shoulders.

As much as progressives hate the naivety of the 1950s and all the times that came before it where tradition and family value paved the way for strong healthy lives—the world they have created is far, far worse.  Can anybody in their right mind declare that feminism has worked?  Can anybody declare that the Michigan teacher was not mentally insane because of his sexual prerogative?  Can anybody think that Meryl Streep would be a fun date?  Progressives have created these problems, and they suppress a value judgment against them by calling sane people names for trying to identify the problem.  At least there was a time in America where bad behavior was identified and a warning to future conduct was attempted.  It may have been fear based, it may not have encompassed the entire enormity of the homosexual complexity—but at least a social norm identified for the benefit of a majority of the population was considered.  At least children were getting a warning of what to look out for among perverted adults.  Back in the “old fashioned” days, such people hid their behavior.  Today they run labor unions and make decisions right out in the open.

The way society is today people who might otherwise warn children away from parasites like that Michigan teacher keep their mouths shut because they don’t want to be called a “homophobe.”  But is that such a bad name?  Is it really a negative to be told that a person doesn’t enjoy poop particle sex?  It isn’t to me.  It states that my mind is not confused into behaving like a dog but would prefer even a feminist over a homosexual.  I may feel sorry for the person attracted to such things, but that doesn’t make them superior to the biological structure that was bestowed on mankind for the sake of mating rituals and human evolution.  The warnings of the 40s, 50s, and very early 60s were valid even if they were rooted with fear and religion into conforming society around a set of values that were being recognizably lost.

As despicable as Meryl Streep’s political views of men hatred are, she would still be a better dinner date than the eventual peril of the poop particles in a man’s hairy ass.  That to me is the gauge of sanity in our modern time where such judgments are forbidden to even be discussed, let alone dealt with.  In my family we have a couple of dogs and I watch often in horror when one sniffs at the other after urinating, or defecating and becomes quite excited about the occasion jumping around as though they just found out they won a million dollars.  We also have a cat, and sometimes that animal will puke right in the middle of the floor and the dog will come and lick it all up clean. This behavior is disgusting by every measure of human value judgment—except the homosexual leaning beings.  For them, this behavior has appeal, and from my point of view—is reminiscent of an illness of some kind.  Such illnesses could be treated if they were identified, but instead they are promoted.  That lack of proper danger recognition is what lead to the kind of rape case that happened in Michigan between a union president—teacher, and his student.  In a society that called such behavior bad, the rape and abuse likely would have been averted.

We’ve all been told that we need to be open to other ways of thinking and embrace the “progressive” view of the world which states that feminism is more important than traditional value, and that same-sex practices are equal to traditional heterosexual practices.  But they are not.  One involves poop particles and the other doesn’t, and poop particles are not good, healthy, or delightful……..unless one considers themselves a dog.  And that would be an insult—and nobody wants such a thing leveled in their direction.  So what do we call such people?  For all the faults pointed out by progressives toward films like the training film against homosexuality in the 50s, nothing has been offered as a modification or replacement to the attempt to at least identify bad behavior that might truly endanger children.  Instead, we are told to look the other way and ignore the faults that progressives have brought to us all in pain, suffering and misery.  And not even the fine acting of Meryl Streep can disguise her cover of a truly disgusting premise behind the progressive platform—that of the poop particle and the terrible expulsion of human waste that propagates from such unions in a sexual ritual centered purely on pleasure like a mindless animal—instead of the continuation of the human race.  At least in the 50s they considered the impact that such behavior would have on children.  The modern progressive does not—instead they seek to use children for their own pleasure and attempt to excuse the behavior as a “learning” experience that will pave the way to adult behavior that will never be able to relate to traditional value—which was always the real goal of their maniacal strategy.

I will give credit to the gay community and the progressive in general for one aspect of their strategy which is brilliant–the use of Meryl Streep as a growing advocate of feminism, erosion of Second Amendment rights, and general liberal causes.  Many men who do not find such revulsion toward fecal matter as I do are choosing the gay life than a life shared with a feminist man-hating radical which substantially bolsters their numbers. The way to make more people turn toward homosexual behavior among men is to provide them with Meryl Streep as a spokesman for feminist causes…….brilliant.

The American Terrorists: Why Michelle Obama split up her husband and the Dutch prime minister

The really hilarious thing about progressives is their duality nature—their living lie with every breath that they take because their actions defy their philosophic positions.  Nothing more exacerbates that lie than the progressive excuses given for Barack Obama’s behavior with Danish Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt snapping selfies of themselves at Nelson Mandela’s memorial service with obvious flirtations.  That in itself didn’t surprise me, after all aren’t these confused progressive types the very people dressing in drag at gay bars, attending Fantasy Fest in Key West, or flying to Cancun to spend long weekends at the Temptations Resort.  Obama as a progressive and defender of the LGBT community obviously endorses strange deviant sexual behavior and swinging is part of that culture.  Obviously the Clintons are swingers—so it wouldn’t surprise me to learn that Michelle and Barack Obama support such relationships.

But it quickly became clear that Michelle isn’t into that kind of thing because she was angry about the behavior of her husband—so angry that she made him switch seats with her—which I thought was the biggest part of the story.  But the behavior was only picked up on by a few remote conservative outlets.  Most everyone else saw that Michelle was upset and assumed that it was just a normal issue of a wife reigning in a flirtatious husband from sexual activity that would flourish without her edit.  But what is more telling is the fact that Obama’s infatuation with women who look like Helle Thorning-Schmidt should be obvious.  Most young men pick wives who are most like their mothers—it’s a natural reaction to the development of their psyches.  Helle Thorning-Schmidt in her mannerisms, in her presentation of herself, and in her skin color more resembles Obama’s mother than Michelle does.  Deep insecurities about Obama’s past seem to have come out which would threaten Michelle’s current life, and she felt she needed to interject herself for her own self-preservation.  It is this that the American people need to know about the situation which really hasn’t been discussed properly.  Obviously what is about to be reported here could only be confirmed by Michelle Obama—but since her family, and her supporters are well-known to denying facts, lying, and behaving in an underhanded manner, then good old-fashioned detective work will have to do.  The Obama family won’t be able to dispute any of these things, because if they could—honestly—they would.  But they can’t.  Silence is the testimony of the guilty.

Michelle was, according to Bill Ayers himself, working with his wife the Weather Underground Terrorist Bernadine Dohrn at the Chicago law firm Sidley & Austin a year ahead of Obama joining.  The four got together for mutual benefit, the terrorists seeing in Obama a Trojan Horse into politics that could do what their bomb from the 70s couldn’t—destroy the evil imperial America from within.  In 1995 Bill Ayers and his wife Bernadine Dohrn launched Obama’s political career from their living room once the socialist-oriented New Party member Alice Palmer announced that she wanted Obama as her successor in the state senate when she stepped down to run for Congress.

Obama has had some inconsistencies about his recollection of how he and Michelle met—but what is known was that they met at the law firm and it is of no coincidence that Dohrn and Ayers helped shape the relationship by pointing the two in the same political direction.  Michelle wouldn’t be the first woman under the advice of a wiser older woman in Dohrn to grab hold of an upcoming star and ride it as far as it would take her.  The trouble with Barack Obama was that his mother was a white woman, and a rather loosy-goosy one at that who loved interracial sex and had communist leanings formed by her own parents.  CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION—WARNING, THIS LINK LEADS TO NUDE PICTURES OF OBAMA’S MOTHER ALLEGEDLY TAKEN BY THE COMMUNIST FRANK MARSHELL DAVIS.  So if Michelle was going to make a relationship work with Obama, she needed to make sure she kept the kind of women who Obama was naturally attracted to out of his life as much as possible.

At this point in his life Obama had already had several white girlfriends—which as a young man from an interracial union, was his prerogative.  Michelle would have to change that by becoming the mother in his life—rather than his lover.  Obama, understanding that he needed that kind of balance in his life to achieve any level of success yielded to it knowingly—and put his white skinned girlfriends of the past well behind him without looking back.

When Genevieve Cook first met Barack Obama in the kitchen of a mutual friend’s New York flat in 1983, he was wearing jeans, a T-shirt and a dark leather jacket.  As the night wore on, they sat close together on an orange beanbag in the hall while Cook swigged Baileys Irish Cream straight from the bottle.  They were amazed at how much they had in common: both were children of divorced parents, both had lived all over the world and had never felt truly at home anywhere.  They exchanged phone numbers. Within days, he was cooking her dinner at his apartment.  ‘Then we went and talked in his bedroom,’ Cook recalled. ‘And then I spent the night with him.  ‘It all felt very inevitable.’  For Genevieve Cook — to whom admittedly the President alludes to in his memoirs — she wasn’t the first white girlfriend in his life, nor the last.

As a young student in the early Eighties at Occidental College, a small arts university in Los Angeles, Obama developed a serious crush on another student Alexandra McNear, who was co-editor of a college literary magazine which published two of Obama’s poems.  She was a white woman and had a presence much like his anthropology loving mother.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2163468/Barack-Obama-The-white-girlfriends-US-President-erased-past.html

But once Obama got serious about a political career and knowing he needed to appeal to the minority voters around Chicago and greater Illinois to do it, old flames like Genevieve Cook and Alexandra McNear wouldn’t be very acceptable to voters.  And if Obama was ever going to get high up in political office as he and Ayers planned, he’d need a nice traditional wife – like Michelle Obama to “darken” him up a bit and get people to forget about his past, his mother and connections to the Communist Party through Frank Marshell Davis.  Ayers knew Obama needed more of a Jessie Jackson type of progressive representation than the one he and his wife projected—and that was the ticket to possibly even The White House over a ten-year span.  Imperial America would never see it coming.  Jackson at the time was at the height of his power and was bringing companies to their knees with unfettered guilt from their unsubstantiated role in American slavery.  America couldn’t resist the communist underpinnings of Barack Obama or they’d be called a racist, but Obama needed Michelle to complete the public relations package.

Likely, Michelle knew from the beginning that this was her role in the whole affair.  Arranged marriages are not uncommon in the world and Obama wasn’t the worst option.  He was a genuine person who really believed things, so she could make it work.  But she’d have to keep him focused on the tasks at hand, and for the most part she has.  Unlike the Clintons the Obamas are fairly sexually conservative for progressives.  They are more about radical social reform than personal pleasure.

Fast forward nearly 20 years to Nelson Mandela’s memorial service where the Obamas found themselves seated next to a nearly mirror image of Barack’s mother, Helle Thorning-Schmidt—a woman from a very permissive Danish culture where sex scandals are not even reported.  In nearby France they are common and the topic of gossip.  But in Denmark a woman like Helle Thorning-Schmidt could have sex in the streets with a menagerie of baboons and nobody would even snap a picture.   Helle is the type of Prime Minster who in 2012 spotted Sex in the City actress Sarah Jessica Parker on the street and rushed up to introduce herself like a Catholic school girl just let out of the seminary attending her first boy band concert.  It wasn’t that Helle was more attractive than Barack’s mother, it was that she is as liberated—something that Michelle cannot compete with in the bedroom or anywhere.  So when Michelle saw her husband getting too loose with himself she pulled him together like she always does, and switched seats to make sure that the two world leaders didn’t get any ideas.  Helle not really meaning any harm in relation to her culture took the hint and pulled herself together as did Barack—who dutifully listened to his wife and swapped seats leaning forward in his chair and spending much of the rest of the time defensively crossing his arms protecting himself from the embarrassment of the world’s eyes which were now upon him.  It’s not like he intended anything malicious—it’s just the whole mother/son—husband/wife aspect of being in a relationship with an unnatural psychological mate—one that is foreign to him from his childhood years.

As much as Obama has had issues over where he’s born, how he grew up, who he knew in college, and where he actually attended, the real issues with the guy are the missing pieces from his past that he can never reconcile.  Being a dutiful socialist, Obama believes that the greater good of society is more important than his individual happiness, so he will sacrifice that so that he can have the power to redistribute the wealth of the world for the better, a plan hatched years ago under not so much cloak and dagger tactics in Bill Ayers’ living room.  But his yearnings are more for the kind of attention that a woman like Helle can provide not due to skin color—which is only reference, but mannerisms—a white woman willing to throw off the prejudice of society and sleep with a black man, and to pose nude for one of his only real father figures in Frank Marshell Davis.  The open shirt blowing carelessly in the wind from such a woman holds more lustful euphemisms than a stack of pornography books because it reminds him of his dead mother and the incomplete relationship he had with her as a single parent hopping hopefully all her life from man to man.

Michelle didn’t make her husband switch seats because the eyes of the world was watching and might think something ill of the flirtations.  That may have been the reason she presented it to Barack and Helle.  She primarily did it to protect her marriage, and all that she had invested into a life which would fulfill the terrorist yearnings of her mentor Bernadine Dohrn who with her husband actually bombed the Pentagon on May 19, 1972.  Ayers said of that day, “Everything was absolutely ideal on the day I bombed the Pentagon.  The sky was blue.  The birds were singing.  And the bastards were finally going to get what was coming to them.  Kill all the rich people.  Break up their cars and apartments.  Bring the revolution home; kill your parents, that’s where it’s really at.”  This was Michelle’s friend who worked at her law firm feeding into her hatred of America which was revealed in her Princeton college thesis illuminating her deep feelings of a race-obsessed worldview and incredible resistance to being “further integrated into a white cultural and social structure that would only allow her to remain on the periphery of society; never becoming a full participant.”  Dohrn directed her anger and with her husband taught the Obamas how they beat the rap during the Pentagon bombing—how to deny, deny, lie, deny, and lie again for the greater good—for the fight for social justice.

Michelle listened to Bernadine Dohrn and bedded her future husband.  She became a first lady in the process and everything and more that was planned in that Bill Ayers living room.  The promises by his wife, her co-worker came true.  They now can spend millions of dollars of looted money from those oppressors she wrote about in her Princeton thesis and laugh about it as they carve up the nation in a way that their terrorist mentors never dreamed possible.  And as far as she has come, and the sacrifices she made along the way, nothing is going to get in the way—especially a pretty Danish Prime Minister and the flirtations of her husband with a mother figure that if she were not in his life would likely be the object of his obsession.

So she sat between them…………………………….

Read more of this terrorist past from a CBS report in 2008—before Obama was elected, and before Glenn Beck exposed many of these things later on.  The following report came before CBS became concerned that they’d be blacklisted in the press room if they didn’t play ball with a tyrannical regime lead by the Obamas and their crusade to remake America into the image of some Chicago terrorists and a mother who slept her way around the world.

Doc Thompson and Skip LeCombe on The Blaze Radio: ‘Voice of America’–The New “Cincinnati Liar”

A few months ago while planning a 2014 project to work on together, Doc Thompson, Skip LeCombe and I had lunch at a very non pretentious Springboro, Ohio deli—a little hole in the wall that might be considered in future years to be a kind of sacred spot for the fires of independence.  It was a brilliant autumn day, rain bursts mixed with intense sunshine as the leaves were rapidly changing color and Doc was telling me what was in store for The Blaze—not just the online news organization, the television show on The Dish, but the massive ground swell of listenership that had rocketed the new radio format into a stratosphere with intensely loyal listeners.  I myself had become a fan of The Blaze Radio formally being faithfully supportive of my home town radio station WLW.  Prior to that meeting with Doc, The Blaze had taken over as my premier news providing service.  This of course was before Politico announced that Glenn Beck—who is the man behind The Blaze was one of the top 10 journalists to watch in 2014.  The Blaze Radio had become in a very short span of time a kind of rebel radio for those yearning old-fashioned traditional values in broadcasting that they weren’t getting anywhere else.  It was easy for me to see why; as The Blaze is not controlled by the FCC because it’s all internet based broadcasts are beyond the reach of such government control.  The limits to such a thing even two years ago have now been overcome and this new format was making a serious push to become not an ornamental gimmick, but a legitimate force in the media.

During our lunch I reminded Doc of the days not that long ago when Voice of America which had a famous set of three towers just down the road in West Chester, Ohio—right next to 700 WLW’s gigantic tower in Mason, began in 1942 as a radio program designed to explain America’s policies during World War II.  When I was a kid listening to AM radio I’d hear some of those broadcasts in several languages which sounded deeply mysterious and exotic.  For many of the residents of Lakota—the recent come-lately types from the progressive East—the latté sipping Lakota levy supporters—they have no memory of the big towers which have since been taken down and replaced with a gigantic park.  Most of them do not even attempt to check out the museum at the park explaining the past history of the place as they are content to see and be seen by the whose its and what’s it’s of Butler County around the large lake.  VOA piped in music to the Soviet Union during this early period against the communist movement with the simple words, “Hello!  This is New York calling.”  Each night suppressed communist residents would hover around their radios waiting eagerly for the latest music coming out of the United States—especially American jazz which they developed a bottomless appetite for.  Culture had been destroyed by the communists in the U.S.S.R and the only semblance of art and entertainment that the poor people of communist Russia could get was from the VOA.

After the Cold War the towers came down and West Chester built a park to memorialize the place—a very impressive endeavor which will allow the memory of the VOA’s importance to be remembered as long as the park remains.  People have in a very short time forgotten the role the VOA played in spreading freedom throughout the world—and seemingly the book had been closed on the issue.  Meanwhile, the Russians under KGB influence had some of their own mechanisms in place to spread their message of communist propaganda.  They didn’t have the VOA—but they had a collectivist philosophy to broadcast so they infiltrated through a spy network communist advocacy that took hold in the Democratic Party rooted in colleges and all levels of academia which targeted not the older generation of Americans dead set against communism, but the youth of tomorrow—who are today’s grown-ups.  The net result is the bell-bottomed latte sipping prostitutes in favor of high taxes—for the children at Lakota schools–spending the day at VOA Park renting paddle boats and gossiping about their neighbors have more in common with the communists hovering around the radio in 1957 Russia than they do their parents and grandparents who actually built, provided content and advocated freedom to the world with the VOA.  The KGB had infiltrated American education with a collectivist mentality that would eventually shape the modern-day European Union while American influence in Russia would bring down the communist front of a repressive government.  The repressed people in poverty struck Russia thirsting for American jazz on the VOA threatened to rise up against Russian leaders forcing them to compromise reluctantly with capitalism.  The rest is history.

The KGB strategy of turning American youth against their parents and traditional value worked.  In the present day millions upon millions of confused people educated by collectivists for the spread of large central government are attempting to put shackles on human thought—which is colliding violently with the easy access people have to means of freedom, video games, underground news organizations, and internet businesses like Amazon.com and eBay.  The old broadcast mediums like 700 WLW are losing major ground to upstarts like The Blaze just as  ABC, CBS, and NBC television is losing to Fox News, and the new A&E program Duck Dynasty—places where traditional value is re-emerging.  On The Dish and cable outlets all across America The Blaze television is emerging as a serious force to be reckoned with as the old stations heavily encumbered by the FCC are stifled by bureaucrats trained by the KGB through public education to think as non-competitive statists.  My former school teacher father-in-law who lives in Louisville in a half million dollar home which resides in a neighborhood where the average home costs over $1 million keeps The Blaze Television station on constantly—out of all the channels on The Dish.  The Blaze is his primary choice over CNN, Fox News, or even The History Channel.  And he’s not alone; many of his neighbors are doing the same.  Ten years ago this same group of people were tending to their boats on the Ohio River—hobbies only the very well-off could afford.  Now they are cleaning their AR-15s and daring the government to come after their money and flying Tea Party type flags from their garages.  And what does anybody think these people listen to in their cars on satellite radio?  Of course, Doc and Skip on The Blaze Radio Network.  Companies encumbered as such like 700 WLW are slowly dying as companies not held to such restrictions are thriving.  The Blaze is one of those examples of a thriving endeavor.

As Doc and I spoke I went on one of my hour-long dissertations about the history of the world, the vile reaches of limited educational perspective and just how important The Blaze was proving to be in all of it.  I reminded Doc and Skip that what they were doing with the radio show set up from hotel rooms and small bungalows all across the nation—set up in airport lobbies, marathon broadcasts from Oklahoma, and constant travel to Dallas, New York, and Dayton was more powerful than the original VOE stations.  They had more power in their computers, microphones and portable devices than those gigantic towers in West Chester used to have.  In this day and age the iPads the iPhones, Twitter, online streaming have far more ability to reach people than at any time in the entire history of the world.  On a daily basis I am in constant communication with important people all over the globe.  I actually use the clock feature on my iPad so I know what time it is where people I’m talking to are at—so to plan my messages to them around their sleep schedule.  I check their local times regularly so not to be disrespectful.   Those messages are real-time conversations communicated with the tap of a virtual keyboard which in itself is an amazing achievement.

On my iPad, The Blaze is always on in the background.  The iPad has become my new radio.  I just leave it on, and because of modern technology I can do that.  I can listen to The Blaze unbroken from Florida to my home in Ohio without ever being concerned about losing a signal.  If I stop for lunch at a Steak & Shake outside of Knoxville, Tennessee I can take my iPad in and listen to Doc and Skip at 3 AM in the morning—that is the kind of world we are living in.   With the app features being as convenient as they are this means pure competition is dominating the new broadcasting market.  This is bad news for old stations like 700 WLW in Cincinnati who used to dominate because of their gigantic tower which dwarfed the old VOA towers.  However, on a drive from Central Tennessee to Cincinnati the station is reliant on the AM signal and cuts out in the deep valleys of lower Kentucky.  Internet streaming radio on an iPhone or other satellite service through iHeart Radio or Pandora does not miss a beat.  If I wanted to listen to Doc and Skip on The Blaze in the middle of the Cumberland Gap next to a roaring campfire outside of my tent—I can.  I can listen to The Blaze at an airport in Chicago as I wait for a flight or on a transfer flight across the Pacific at LAX.  I can pick up Doc and Skip in Tokyo, Hong Kong, or on a long flight from Singapore to Paris.  It is no problem in this day and age—no problem at all.

When Tampa Bay—my favorite football team is the Buccaneers—fired their head coach Greg Schiano, I listened intently around the clock to 620 WDAE in Tampa to get the inside of what was going on with one of my favorite cities and the coaching prospects coming in the wake.  Without question some people still listen to 700 WLW and their online streaming to keep up with the Cincinnati Bengals and Reds while they travel for business around the globe.  But what endures is content that the listener values—not values shaped by the FCC—and going head to head against stations like 700 WLW, The Blaze is dominating.  In 2014, it looks like The Blaze Radio will expand even more.  Conventional stations like AM broadcasts in Los Angeles are now syndicating Doc and Skip the traditional way in an attempt to stay relevant.  That is the power of The Blaze Radio which the engineers of the Voice of America would have marveled at only half a century ago.

So it’s an exciting new time, and good things are happening in 2014.  There are a lot of bad things too, but for the first time in human history, those bad things can be discussed clearly, aggressively, and resolutely on The Blaze without distance, government regulation, or international boarders stopping the conversation.  I can listen to Doc and Skip on The Blaze as clearly from a private table in the corner of the Restaurant Bar la Madonna at La Isla Shopping Village in Cancun, as I can from along the river at The Anchorage in Milwaukee over fine wine, and seafood flown in daily from all three coasts.  That freedom new to the human race—has never occurred before—and Glenn Beck is on the cutting edge of it.  As I’ve said before, Glenn Beck has the opportunity to be the new Walt Disney.  He will continue to provide political commentary and news content—but it’s what he’s otherwise working on that will take him in the coming years from something of a fallen star at Fox News and CNN—intentionally sidelined as a way to appease the dark forces afoot in statism—and take him to well beyond where Duck Dynasty currently is.  This will occur because when competition goes head to head with various ideals, the good ones that have always been supported finally have the ability to fight it out under a free market system for the first time.  And that—is why Glenn Beck’s The Blaze is something to watch out for.  It is growing by the day and Doc and Skip are at the front of that wave.  I’m happy to know them both—because this is an exciting time—a time that nobody has ever experienced before—and it’s happening right now.

To see why Doc Thompson is the new “Cincinnati Liar,” watch the video above about the history of the VOA in Cincinnati.  Doc went from an employee of 700 WLW to a star on The Blaze, and the rest is history.  Hitler did not like Cincinnati–and neither did Stalin.  People who think like Hitler and Stalin in the present and future will not like Doc for the same reasons–but they can’t stop it now.

Mos Eisley Radio: Mary Poppins, X-Wing Miniatures, Galactic Starfighter and the burdens of life

imageGenerally when I offer myself as a front man my policy is that I don’t do committees, I don’t solicit opinions, and I expect people to do what I say without question.  If people, political organizations, or companies want success they can hook a chain to my star and I’ll take them where they want to go—and presently there are a lot of chains hooked to my star from those agreeing to those terms and expecting me to take them to their desired destination.  At 46 years of age, naturally now that the word has gotten out about some of my abilities, 2014 is shaping up to be the most pressure oriented year I’ve ever had.  I’ve never before dragged along so much hooked to me as I presently am, yet I fully expect such weights to not hinder my star’s trajectory.  One way I do that is to give my mind frequent rests to balance out the intense weight it otherwise would be encumbered with.  I thought it curious during this latest Holiday Season that two films, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, and the Disney film Saving Mr. Banks both feature authors who were very much in love with the characters they created because it provided them with a secondary world which they created to reason things out.  I understand Tolkien’s apprehension to allow his work to be commercially shared, and even more drastic was the story of P.L. Travers who authored Mary Poppins.  Both authors confessed somewhat to using their stories as personal playgrounds of thought and were very protective over those worlds.  I can relate, my characters in my books, Fletcher Finnegan and Rick Stevens are very much creations of the same design for me—which is a work currently unfolding as my life shoots through the sky with the lives of many chained to it.  Disney did much the same with his Mickey Mouse, and of course there is George Lucas who guarded his Star Wars franchise more resoundly than anybody mentioned above.  Money is not the motive for any of the people mentioned—that comes later—it’s about the preservation of that secondary world—a world where the mind can vacation and relax where things make much more sense.  Personally for me, when the pressure is as intense as it is right now the way I deal with the real world most effectively is to spend as much time as possible in a secondary world to give my mind the needed downtime allowing it to be more efficient.  Vacations to Disney World, the creation of Uncle Walt is one of the ways I most enjoy a secondary world created by someone else.  Another is Star Wars, not just the movies, books, comics and any other little media tidbit—but the games, the new Galactic Starfighter, and the object of much obsession, X-Wing Miniatures.  Both of these games are discussed by the guys at Mos Eisley Radio’s Even Lewis and Leo Andrie—and to learn about both, listen to this broadcast.  They cover a lot of ground, but I think Leo’s opinions about X-Wing Miniatures most reflect my own—I simply love the game—I love that secondary world because it makes sense to me more than anything else presently can.

Leo and Even did that broadcast prior to the release of Galactic Starfighter, so I can add to the report that as much as I love X-Wing Miniatures, Galactic Starfighter does the same thing for me, only the delight is much more immediate.  The computer combat flight simulator like PVP forum on Star Wars: The Old Republic is simply obsessive fun for me.  My wife and I have now played hundreds, perhaps even over a thousand matches over the last three weeks, and it is an absolute blast.  It takes all the action and strategy of X-Wing Miniatures and plays it out in real-time.  My wife oddly enough is topping the leaderboards nearly every match with her gunship.  I am less consistent—depending on who is playing.  When average players are against us, I typically join her at the top of the leaderboards with 5 to 10 kills per match in my Flashfire scout ship—which is like flying a kite that is very underpowered.  It doesn’t hit very hard and can’t take much abuse, but I use it because of the tremendous speed it has.   However, when elite players are on the other side, my job is to harass them and keep them uncomfortable—(kind of like real life) and my kill ratio goes down considerably.  The reason is to keep them busy while the other members of our team capture the satellite points.  I can’t say enough about the game.  It is truly an amazing time we live in.  My wife flies her ship on a computer right next to me.  We speak to each other like two pilots in a fire fight only the information going back and forth from the BioWare servers from her computer to the host and back to mine, and vice versa—then to all the other players 12 on our team, 12 on the opposing side is just an amazing feat.  A lot of people who play online games like Call of Duty and Grand Theft Auto are used to these forums, which is a few years old, but at my age I remember a time when all this was just a distant fantasy.  I remember a day when I worked all summer cutting grass so that I could purchase a $79 film role of Star Wars for a projector that I didn’t have and the reel didn’t even have sound. So modern DVDs and Blue Rays are amazing to me even after a decade of use—but the online gaming experience of Galactic Starfighter is simply stunning.  I can’t get enough of it.image

However, the computer game is something my wife and I can share with a few other people on our team, but when it comes to a tabletop game that an entire family can experience—or something that can be shared at conventions, comic book stores, and other very creative formats of existing secondary worlds X-Wing Miniatures is infinitely intriguing to me.  If you did not listen to the above video broadcast from Even and Leo please do so if any of this is remotely interesting.  Leo is a huge gaming nerd in all the wonderful ways that those people are full of imagination and hope—and his thoughts about X-Wing Miniatures reflects my own.  He has played many of the big games from the past, The Magic The Gathering and those types of things—and is presently obsessed with X-Wing Miniatures attending tournaments all over America.  And I totally get it.image

By looking at the pictures here of a match my family had during Boxing Day (the day after Christmas at my kid’s house) it is easy to see how we took a dining room table and made a battlefield out of it.  The strategies are very similar to Galactic Starfighter—the video game, but I find the slower pace and deeper strategies of X-Wing Miniatures to be infinitely more rewarding.   There is a freedom of movement that is simply amazing—every inch of the 3’X3’ game mat is up for grabs strategically—and that is very attractive to me.  But more so is the way the game allows you to visit this secondary world of Star Wars with the shared experience of family and friends on a group level.  In the game showed in the pictures it was a very tight match which went on for over an hour and it came down to a final dice roll of two evasion dice—which was highly unlikely—but occurred. It was a literal cliffhanger, and all our hearts were beating furiously at the end—both the winning and losing side—and I can’t think of too many activities that can be done around a kitchen table which provokes that kind of reaction.  It is blistering fun!image

I have several hundred dollars invested in the game from what is seen in the pictures.  That investment will easily excel into the thousands during 2014 and 2015.  As Leo mentioned in the Mos Eisley Radio broadcast the big excitement of 2014 will be the expansion packs of the Imperial Aces featuring two specially painted TIE Advanced ships, the massive Tantive IV CR90 corvette which looks spectacularly stunning, and the Rebel GR-75 medium transport.  Fantasy Flight Games who publishes X-Wing Miniatures has already produced something special even without these 2014 announcements.  If all they created were what has been seen through the first three waves of release, the Millennium Falcon from Wave 2 and now a ship I use all the time, the HWK-290,  (CLICK HERE TO READ SPECIFICALLY ABOUT THIS SHIP) I’d be content.  But Fantasy Flight Games is only getting stronger as time moves on—making the game constantly more complex and dynamic.  They are introducing a whole new play formatted called Cinematic Play which will specifically involve these larger ships on a much greater table top.  And in tournaments, they are introducing the Epic tournament format which will allow players to field ships of all sizes in massive battles that will echo thought the Star Wars universe.  In the game’s Epic format the Rebel transport can support the efforts of a squad with its frequency jammer, and the Tantive IV can fire its powerful lasers against opponent’s TIEs.  These mentioned items are not part of Wave 4 which hasn’t even been announced yet.  One can only speculate about what those ships will entail and new playing options that will come with them.  2014 will be a very exciting year for X-Wing Miniatures.image

I wish sometimes that I didn’t have such a complicated life with so many hooked to my star.  There are many days that I would love to be able to travel around and have the kind of free time that Leo does attending tournaments for X-Wing Miniatures.  I would be a very happy person with a table full of X-Wing ships and a pizza from LaRosa’s sitting on a nearby counter playing all day every day for the rest of my life.  That secondary world of Star Wars as it is specifically translated in that particular game is such an effective living mythology that it exceeds my personal creations.  I understand how P.L. Travers felt about Mary Poppins, and how Tolkien felt about Middle-earth, because I feel the same way about my own creations.  But when it comes to these Star Wars games, that secondary world smartly has been expanded in a unique way that Walt Disney—the new owners of Star Wars and the former owner, George Lucas have nurtured for decades.  P.L. Travers had a nervous breakdown at the premier of Mary Poppins because of the dancing penguins, and the portrayal of Mr. Banks who was essentially her father.  Lucas has allowed other independent minds to help shape his secondary world in a way that has held back Tolkien and Travers work in the past.  If The Old Republic had to get George Lucas to approve every addition to that world, it would have been stunted.  Even more so with X-Wing Miniatures, that game is great because as Leo and Even stated the game makes great use of the Expanded Universe—aspects of the Star Wars mythology that was created by the novels, comics and television shows by people only remotely guided by George Lucas with a thumbs up or thumbs down—and that is what makes this secondary world of gaming such an incredibly rich experience.  It takes an individual to drive the visions forward, but it also takes knowing when to let things go so the creations can take off on their own and flourish—kind of like raising children.  X-Wing Miniatures is the product of a successful metaphorical child of Star Wars and an offering into a secondary world that can hold a lot of excess pressure.  It does for me.image

I know my readers here want to see more fire and brimstone from me, and they will get it.  I feel the tug of those chains upon my star and I don’t complain.  I offer the free ride to see how much I can pull without it destroying me—because I want to know where my limits are—and I have not yet found them in my life.  But I do feel the pressure, and the way I cope with it is to become involved in these kinds of secondary world activities as the primary world is full of burden.  I play at real life like I’m playing a game—it takes the edge of the bitter realization that life is not a game, decisions are final, but chances must be taken to advance ideals.  By playing games for recreation, one can sort of work out what is a successful strategy and what isn’t.  Starting off a New Year, I enjoy thinking about these kinds of things, so I do it for myself more than anything—but I share it in case anybody wants to learn a thing or two about stress management.  At times like this I often would not mind having a simple nondescript job at some fast-food restaurant where I could live the life of Leo attending X-Wing tournaments all the time free of those chains dragging behind.  But I am grateful to have the release of these types of games in a time when I need them for my own sanity.  I have found that the more I utilize these things in my life, the more I can carry as my star shoots across the sky, and the many that are dragging behind hooked to it by my invitation will succeed.

‘The Desolation of Smaug’: A gift that only mythology could give–a film of GREAT importance

Until I saw the new Hobbit film The Desolation of Smaug my favorite dragon film was the old 1981 flick, Dragonslayer.  CLICK HERE TO REVIEW.  I have been waiting for this Part II of The Hobbit series for a long time—so much so that I have avoided talking about it to keep my excitement level in check.  The reason is that the attribute of human society that I most value is mythology, and there is no better exhibition of modern mythology than the Star Wars films and the Tolkien films by the great unpretentious filmmaker Peter Jackson.  Mythology in films and novels can communicate complicated aspects of human culture that cannot be communicated any other way and are the hinge pins of modern philosophy—which is directly created by a society’s mythology.  I don’t see The Desolation of Smaug as just another fantasy movie—I see it as a functioning mythology that says a lot about the state of our modern existence.  A great storyteller like Jackson can pour so much value into a film like this that years of a similar education under an orthodox system of instruction will fail after many years of trying.

There are two basic kinds of dragons in classic mythology, the oriental dragon which is largely a symbol of rebirth, and the European dragon.  I spoke about the oriental one the other day when discussing the upcoming film Godzilla.  Godzilla is very much an oriental dragon in a modern context.  Then there is the European version of dragon, the classic villain of so many movies from Sleeping Beauty to Fantasia, dragons in a European context represent human greed, arrogance, and corruption.  If one wanted to understand the major differences between Eastern and Western cultures, their basic interpretations of dragons in mythology would be the place to begin.  In the classic 1937 novel, The Hobbit, the dragon villain Smaug is a classic European dragon, and in this updated movie version, he is the king of all dragons ever filmed and put on a screen.

I would say that seeing The Desolation of Smaug is the most important commentary on modern politics that is available to anybody on planet earth presently.  A student of politics, philosophy, and social organization could watch MSNBC, Fox News, Politically Incorrect on HBO and achieve a doctorate in psychology, history, and political science—read all the books by Glenn Beck, Bill O’Reilly, and Charles Krauthammer—listen to talk radio for the next 10 years, and there would not be a more accurate summation of the state of our world than in this Hobbit film.  The simple line of dialogue between two of the elf characters in the film upon deciding if they should fight on behalf of light or let the world fall to darkness was uttered by, “when did we let evil become stronger than us.”  That is what almost every human being is facing on the very day that you are reading this—what are the consequences of living our lives away from the light?  How does evil spread?  And what do we do about it when we are confronted with it?

The Desolation of Smaug is not just a simple morality tale speaking in generalizations about an ideal existence wrapped in fantasy.  It is a commentary—a mythology of the problems experienced in our modern times.  The setting has been changed to provide context in a similar way that Star Wars removed time and history with the opening, A Long Time Ago in a Galaxy Far, Far Away.  The Hobbit is dealing with the very nature of evil, greed, and faulty living that is at the heart of every human being.  It is literature on film, and is marvelous to behold.

Smaug as the centerpiece of this latest story is the embodiment of the kind of individual who has taken the world’s wealth by force and sits upon it guarding it religiously.  He is the kind of bourgeois that added fuel to the fire of the communist movement where the common man wished to wrestle power back away from such dragons so that they could have their riches away from such greedy bastards.  That is why Smaug is a European dragon that sits in this movie upon a pile of gold taken from the Dwarves and their mines.  He loves it so much that he has buried himself within it so that he can worship it like a rodent burrows itself into the ground.  Many real life wealthy people like Bill Gates, George Soros, Michael Bloomberg, and Warren Buffet give so much money to philanthropy advancing progressive causes because they feel guilt over their wealth.  They wish to prove to the world that they are not dragons like Smaug even though in their wealth building years they behaved just like Smaug—rolling their bodies into their confiscated wealth.  In the case of Gates, he made his money the correct way with a superior product—but discovered that the world saw him as a Smaug, just as the Dwarves in The Hobbit saw Smaug as a villain who took their wealth.  Gates wished to prove that he was not such a Smaug so he began to give mast amounts of money to the public education system in America feeding the teacher unions.  In many ways Gates became like the treacherous politicians in Laketown—living in constant fear of Smaug—scheming around the beast to carve their own way to power and wealth.  For Gates and his idealism, he became a major supporter of Common Core which seeks to centralize the education process for society.  A good intention with a sinister reality which allows corrupt teacher unions to control the kind of curriculum being taught to children—which opens the door for despots to shape the minds of society for the worst.  In the film, once the dragon was no longer a threat, the kingdoms of the world now without the fear of Smaug immediately launched themselves into a power play for control of Middle-earth.  Smaug as cruel as he was made out to be when confronted by Bilbo in The Lonely Mountain was caught between his own genius and ability to inflict cruelty, and his ability to keep the vast evil that the occupants of Middle-earth possess in check.  Only a proper and effective mythology could communicate such a complicated concept.

Peter Jackson is such a great filmmaker.  He knows instinctively much of what I write about here because his understanding of mythology allows him to think of things in the large view.  He can make a film like the Hobbit movies with an ease that is unfathomable to most Hollywood directors—especially on the scale that this Desolation of Smaug is.  Jackson gets it—and people sense that something important is going on in the movie which is why it has made over $500 million world-wide dollars in just two weeks at this point.  When he completes the trilogy, of The Hobbit, along with the Lord of the Rings films, Jackson will have completed one of the greatest explorations into the nature of evil ever done by anybody anywhere.  Of course Tolkien started the process with his great books, but Jackson has taken the baton and ran with it in a way that few people could ever hope to do, and he does it with a lack of pretension that is simply wonderful.

People who love fantasy stories like this generally are aware that the real world does not have much to offer them.  Most of the time, they see too much, and can’t lie to themselves about the nature of reality.  So they bury themselves in fantasy where they can relate to the characters that stand for justice, righteousness, and a fight against evil.  Doing such things in the real world is considered unrealistic, naive, and foolhardy.  So they turn to fantasy and lose themselves to the efforts of gaming, movies, books, and any other attribute a story can bring to a mind hungry for understanding.  We all know a Smaug in our life—whether it is a rich uncle, an employer, or even a political power.  Most of us think that such dragons must be killed and slayed so that the wealth of the world can return to us.  But often—which is an ideal that the writer Ayn Rand was exploring around the same time that Tolkien was exploring Middle-earth—there is a need for such dragons as they prove to be more capable than the greed of the Dwarves, or residents of Laketown.  The masses may not like the dragon, but often the dragon is more capable than the masses in dealing with the overwhelming pressure of greed—thus the line at the end of this film by Bilbo—“What have we done?”  Bilbo means, we killed the dragon, but we seem to have slayed ourselves in the process.

The Desolation of Smaug is such an important film as it deals with a massive social commentary that is pertinent to our present time in such critical ways.  Smaug is one of Ayn Rand’s characters who have failed at life.  He is not an overman able to support the world without corruption who creates wealth with creative effort.  Smaug took the created wealth of the dwarves with force, not creative effort—and spent the rest of his life guarding that gold because he was unable to create more of it.  To Smaug, the wealth was finite, created by others and if he wanted to keep it, he had to hold it greedily with terror which of course everyone in Middle-earth resented.  But without Smaug, the people of Middle-earth would be at war with one another constantly.  Smaug focused their hate into a direction that only a fire-breathing massive dragon could carry.  Bilbo because of his ability as a thief was able to spot a weakness in Smaug and let the people of Laketown know about it.    Once that weakness was exploited, and Smaug was removed as a threat, the real work of Sauron, originally known as Malron the Admirable, could begin.  Mariron was turned to evil by the Dark Lord Morgoth in the early days of the world, and ever after remained a foe of the Valar and the Free peoples of Middle Earth.   We all know people like Sauron too.  In fantasy fun is made of combating such figures with magic and battles with fantastic monsters, but the content of such people can be found on a local school board, or machine politics at any level and on both sides.  The reason people flock to see these films is not an escape from reality, but to actually see reality as it is masked to us in the light of day.

The second Hobbit film, The Desolation of Smaug is a movie that everyone should see; its great cinema, wonderful story telling, and a visual art of the highest order.  Nobody makes films better than these films, except for possibly the upcoming Star Wars films which deal with the same basic content, only in a future/past kind of way.  On a scale of 1-5 I give this Hobbit film a 100.  It is that good—but only if viewers enjoy exploring the hidden aspects of a society that is not so far away in Middle-earth, but right in front of us all—only not seen because of our educations, and prejudices–a world that can only be revealed to us through mythology.

The Ever-so-Unpopular Obamacare: Clueless politicians and lost government workers trained all wrong

Obamacare will never, ever, in a million years be a successful enterprise.  Unlike when Progressives ran through Social Security, and Medicare against the American public, The United States does not have the financial resources to support such a terrible—socialist oriented concept without wrecking the entire economy.  It would seem that since most government jobs require college degrees, that the architects of Obamacare—otherwise known as the Affordable Care Act—would understand why their revision of American health care would be a miserable failure. Unfortunately the issue points to a deeper problem.  American colleges are teaching the incorrect fundamentals about virtually everything—and this has led entire regiments of government workers to incorrectly handle problems their educations should have prepared them for.  Obamacare will be a failure because of the modern trend of mismanagement indicative of not properly understanding what quality is, or how it’s created and now that it has sunk in Americans are turning against Obama and his health care reforms.

In a telephone poll, taken between December 13-19, it asked 1035 adults — 950 of whom were registered voters — the following question: “As you may know, a bill that makes major changes to the country’s health care system became law in 2010. Based on what you have read or heard about that legislation, do you generally favor or generally oppose it?”

62% of those polled said they oppose the Affordable Care Act (ACA), while support for the law hit an all-time low of just 35%.

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2013/12/25/cnn-poll-opposition-to-obamacare-hits-record-highs-support-crashes-to-new-lows/

The common belief among all government bureaucracies, even those with major contracts with such agencies—mismanagement is rampant.   Perhaps it is the heavy instruction of Keynesian economics—socialist indoctrination, left leaning politics, and irresponsible social behavior driving those failures.  Virtually nobody is coming out of modern colleges with a basic understanding of management.  The belief so common these days is that if jobs are created and a human body is carrying a nameplate on their desk indicating that they are in charge of something—that the job of management is getting done.  However, this is not what’s been happening.

Management is more than just showing up for a job—it requires somebody to actually provide leadership and carry productivity toward benchmarks.  In modern government nobody carries anything.  A roomful of people show up at a meeting and brainstorm on an idea—but nobody ever takes any of the ideas to the next step—because they have been taught that individual achievement is bad, and that collective enterprise is a virtue of the highest order.  The net result is that nobody makes decisions, nobody drives productivity, nobody leads anybody anywhere which is why all government projects are perpetually over budget, late, and ultimate failures.

Obamacare was certainly created under these precise circumstances. The intention conceived during brainstorming sessions during 2008 to 2009 sounded good—give poor people health care coverage using socialism to deliver the product to them.  However, departments because they lacked basic management skills and did not have skilled people driving their efforts simply threw money at the problems hoping that everything would mysteriously be solved.  Even top management officials in the government with Doctorates and Master’s degrees lacked the fundamental skills to manage even basic leadership skills.  They were functioning with the belief that all they had to do was show up—and this was the beginning of the end for them.  The result is massive overspending on a health care product that hasn’t been able to deliver even a computer interface that is user friendly—even when the best minds in the world are working on the project.  The reason is because leadership at the very top is an utter failure—and no matter what happens below those “leaders” the efforts will be negated by the collective hive of incompetence.  This is the direct cause of the severe cost overruns of Obamacare.

Americans have now seen all this happening in real-time, and now that its 2014 when the law begins to take effect the urgency of the situation is now on people’s minds.  They see failures and the mismanagement, and they aren’t happy—and the poll numbers reflect it.  Like a typical clueless bureaucrat Obama and his fellow government workers threw together budget deals in the last-minute, and tied up what they considered loose ends and went on their vacations for the Holiday without a care in the world.  Obama is so out-of-touch he appears to not even realize the implications of his failure even as every news station is broadcasting his folly with wall-to-wall coverage all over the world.  He’s busy doing “selfies” with celebrities and going to college basketball games like a normal every day guy—because that’s what he is.  There is nothing special about Barack Obama other than the ability to con people with lies spoken before large crowds.  He can do such things because he is disconnected from reality by his training—like every other government worker who survives that type of work for more than five years.

No amount of money can fix Obamacare because it was conceived in a leadership vacuum—by nobodies without thought.  The merit of Obamacare is no different from the five-year old girl who wishes upon a star and expects a wish to come true.  Even the child who tells their parents that they wish for the moon, and then they cry when nobody can take it out of the sky and give it to them—Obama is just as unrealistic about his health care reform—and his personal insanity is now costing people money, health, and happiness.

The Tea Party said all this would happen and nobody wanted to listen.  Instead they were called names by government workers and hunted down by the IRS, but the reality did not change.  Obamacare still failed even when the critics were stuffed away to the fringes of society.  It failed because the people who conceived it were failures and lacked management skill—something that money cannot overcome.  Great managers can be purchased with money, but money cannot replace good managers—which is a premise that colleges have been teaching for more than 6 decades.  Education institutions have been functioning from a belief that all human beings are like Lego blocks, and can be interchanged with one another depending on a desired outcome.  They have been selling that colleges make those Lego blocks and once a degree in management, or administration is achieved, then those employees are equipped to show up at a desk and take on that role immediately.  But it doesn’t work that way.  Quality is more important than knowledge, and colleges do not teach quality—only mimicked behavior of successful people—not what made them successful to begin with.

So welcome mainstream thinkers to the world view that the real leaders of the world have had from the very beginning—those who called Obamacare three years ago a dismal failure that would be a detriment to American society.  Welcome to reality—where Obamacare will harm people needlessly, and wreck the best health care system in the world with a socialism that has already crippled Europe. Welcome to the world of failure by government where employees run everything with a rudderless commitment to nothing but ideas concocted by the mind of intellectual infants and overly trained fools.  One of those fools is on a beach in Hawaii playing with his kids completely oblivious to the folly of his ways because he doesn’t even have a mind to assess failure from success—other than the wishes of a child who wants the moon—and screams when they can’t have it.
