Bob Iger’s ‘The Ride of a Lifetime’: Forget the social justice, just tell the story

I am not an anti-Bob Iger guy. As the head of Disney, I have been willing to forgive that he’s a liberal because I think he has done a pretty good job as a CEO in making that company one of the most powerful media companies in the world—arguably the biggest. Personally, I love Disney, but my interests often dwell in the challenges that corporations have in creative endeavors which obviously is a challenge the bigger a company gets. In that regard, Disney has been an interesting study and its not easy. After all, media is changing and its hard to get out in front of that change, and Iger has tried to do his best, and most of the time, he’s been right. However, with Star Wars he did blow it which I have talked about many different ways and I was very interested this week in reading his new book, ‘The Ride of a Lifetime’ that he admitted as best he could that he had some regrets about not following George Lucas’ story treatment for the latest trilogy. Clearly if Disney had handled that situation better, the Star Wars brand would not be as fractured as it is now. Iger took this opportunity in writing this book to throw the fans a bone and offer an apology which should take the edge off the activism for the upcoming The Rise of Skywalker film coming in December.

Iger’s book was good and insightful providing several examples of learning as he went along especially handling characters of great talent, like Steve Jobs and George Lucas in painting a picture of that very fine line in using massive corporate power to tell a story, when the best of what a story is comes from individual experience. Personally, after The Force Awakens came out, I was not happy and it took me a long time to give Star Wars a chance again. Largely for me it was that I had grandchildren who could use the stories the way I had shared them with my own kids. I raised my family on Star Wars so it seemed like a shame to throw everything out the window just because Bob Iger thought he needed to corporatize Star Wars to protect the brand. After all, from his point of view, Lucas was selling off the Star Wars property to let Disney take all the risk of making the next trilogy even if they might not be big billion dollar sellers at the box office the way that the market is lined up these days. Lucas thought he was selling Star Wars to a friend who would protect the brand for the long view. And the fans split along those lines. Now before the next film Bob Iger is doing just that, he’s reaching something of a compromise in getting back to the original Lucas vision, but it may be too late. Or maybe not. I’m willing to give it a chance for the reasons I mentioned. Because the upside is far too valuable.

I often talk about Star Wars as being more than just an entertainment franchise. Mythologically Star Wars is one of the hottest modes of storytelling that we have seen in all our human lifetimes. Even screwing up the canon storyline which takes place over thousands of years, Star Wars and the power of Disney and Lucasfilm before it, produces an enormous amount of cultural content, from books, television, video games, to of course the movies. The amount of material that there is from Star Wars has more of an impact on our culture than most religions and has far more power than governments over the minds of a population. And Star Wars is truly a global endeavor, no matter where in the world that you go, people know the brand and something about the stories. There are very few entertainment options that have that kind of power, so managing all that power is tricky business under even the best conditions. But at the heart of the Star Wars debate is the long desired human trait to understand free will, immortality, and the nature of spirituality. Even though the stories are kid’s stories, the questions they ask are quite large and have the tools to put minds on a higher place, exhibiting the best attributes of science fiction as a platform.

Iger’s mistake was that the very same skills that have made him a great CEO, that certain ruthlessness that you have to have to trust your own instincts are the same problems that caused him to second guess the Lucas story treatments which have now alienated fans. The Lucas story was set to take the characters that had been built through many decades of novels right into a philosophical story that might have been more like The Empire Strikes Back and less like a Star Wars greatest hits like The Force Awakens was. Iger had doubts that people would spend a billion dollars at the box office to explore the nature of the Whills and the concept of immortality within the universe. But in the end, because he held everything too tight, Disney killed the property anyway.

For me the interesting thing that Star Wars explores, that isn’t covered anywhere else in all earthly cultures is the very different approaches between oriental philosophies and the occident. Oriental obviously being collectivist in nature and the occident, focused on individual free will. The parts of Star Wars that works is the occidental part. The parts that people often don’t like even if they don’t consciously understand why is the oriental portions. However, the oriental aspects are important to the story telling so not every Star Wars story can be a billion-dollar grosser which is hard for a corporate spreadsheet to show to investors. But the study of the philosophy does drive merchandise sales for decades if done properly, and now ultimately Iger appears to understand that the Lucas vision should have been followed without his tampering.

Even for those not too interested in entertainment and pop culture aspects, the Bob Iger book is a good read and well worth the time. The selling of ideas is a tricky business after all. Speaking for myself my dealing with some of the people mentioned in Iger’s book left me wanting to live in exile just as Luke decided to do in both versions of the cannon, the extended universe and these Disney stories. And that is a challenge explored in the great book of philosophy called Thus Spoke Zarathustra. The problem remains and this is true of both Lucas and Steve Jobs who merged with Disney while he knew he was dying of cancer so that their companies could live—no matter how much liberal Hollywood types and creative geniuses want to talk about the independence of their craft and the superiority of ownership over corporate rule, ultimately the temptation to use big corporate engines to assume risk is where they always go wrong. Or is it really wrong? If Iger does make things right with fans I would argue that there are many more Star Wars story telling options for the future because of Disney ownership than without it. Many more books, more theme park tie ins, and many, many more visual mediums than if George Lucas had held onto the Star Wars brand. And with something with as much story to tell as Star Wars can tell Lucas was right to sell it to Disney. The mythology can explode so long as everyone understands the objective. And after reading the Iger book, I am sure he does. The question is, is it already too late? I certainly hope not. I’m rooting for him; I’d like to see everyone come out well in the end.

The Withering Witch of Oz: If they want a fight, they’ll get one

Speaking for myself of course, but what did everyone think was going to happen, especially the way the Obama administration acted, and the massive corruption coming out of the Eric Holder Justice Department? Did they think everyone was just going to take it? Well, I stand with President Trump, completely. I think it says a lot about our “republic” (not a democracy) that we can have escalated conflicts like the one we are having now without too many people getting killed. One of the great miracles of the Bill of Rights of our Constitution is that free speech does take the edge off groups that might otherwise rise up to become separatist factions engaged in armed insurrection bringing war to our internal nation. But make no mistake about it, the stakes are just the same. There will be a winner, and there will be a loser in this fight, and we will not all live happily ever after. That is the state of our nation and I’ve been saying that for a long time. I love peace, and enjoy political debate, but yielding to socialism, communism and a giant centralized government obviously corrupted is not something I’m going to support. I’m not the safest guy in the world so I don’t find a government providing safety much of a benefit. I’d rather them just leave me alone, and since they can’t, they will get a fight from me.

I am one of those red dots on the great map of America that President Trump was Tweeting about. Even if those liberal forces did manage to remove Trump from office, they would then have a bigger problem, people like me who will make life very difficult for them. So long as we are all living under the rules of the Constitution, they have nothing to worry about. I’m happy to have Trump representing me in the White House. But if they take that away, they are stealing something from me and I’m not going to like that very much, and I’m not a victim type. I’ll do something about it.

The Obama White House was one of the most corrupt in our history, but they’ll claim otherwise because there is a lack of evidence. Well, that’s because that side of the political spectrum has a habit of destroying evidence, which is why they always point and say that nobody will ever find any. They’ve been caught on several occasions, so clearly there are many others that were well concealed that we’ll never know about that are very much a part of their operations. I had witnessed enough during the Obama years to know that something had to be done, and Trump was my pick to change it. Change had to happen to keep our republic alive, and change is what we are seeing. The violence threatened from the other side, and their attempts at impeachment are actions of violence to my eyes, and that intention needs to be met accordingly.

So, nobody should be surprised, I didn’t start this fight and neither did anybody else who was a Trump voter. These radicals brought socialist ideas into our country and tried to sneak them under the door and while they were at it have tried to change the nature of our Constitution and the basic American way of life from our religions to our family practices. They intruded on us, not us them. Of course, they are going to get an angry response and a lively defense of our liberties. If they did remove Trump, life gets much harder for them, not easier. By removing Trump, they would simply remove the rule of law for which our election of 2016 represented. Given that, what other choice would we have. Yielding isn’t one of them. If they are going to take over our government by taking away elections, then they will have to live with the consequences. I don’t think that makes me a radical for saying such a thing. Only honest. The radicalism is in assuming that they can impeach my president without trouble coming to their door with more than pitch forks. No wonder they want gun control, because they know what their intentions have always been for America.

Personally, I hope the debate can hold up without violence becoming part of the American story, but what is worse than violence is yielding to these terrible and corrupt forces. That’s not something I’m willing to put up with and I have a strong sense of things that I’m nowhere near alone. From my vantage point I still believe that the Democrat Party is ending and what we are seeing is their conclusion, and they are aware of it. Most of their schemes have not worked and they have lost their way philosophically. 100 years of progressive failure has brought us to this point in history and they are on the wrong side of it. They have penetrated the markets, captured the media just as they said they would in the 1950s, and taken over both political parties to a large degree only to be turned away at the election booth with Donald Trump. And they have no answer which is why they are trying to impeach him during an election year, because they have no candidates, and they have no way of beating him in 2020. So this is their last gasp and once the election is over, that will be the end of them as we have known them.

However, what is dangerous is to what extent they may go to live longer. In that form, they may be willing to have a violent insurrection of their own, and that is something to worry about. Moe of their ranks will likely become mass shooters to attempt to move the emotional needle for the “great cause of progressivism” and as their desperation becomes greater, there is no telling what they might do. They are that seriously corrupted for their need for power. It’s not people like me who are dangerous, its them. However, I’m not going to be moved by them either, so if they want a war, that’s what they’ll get.

Most of us just want to mind our own business, but these people can’t leave us to it. They want power and they need some way to get it from us, even if they must turn to violence and insurrection. And that is a decision they are making. It wasn’t some crazy radical conservatives. We had our little rebellion, a peaceful Tea Party based on educational understanding of the rules in the Constitution. We cleaned up our weak links within the Republican Party that Trump now heads. Democrats should do the same, but the problem is they never had a plan that didn’t involve intruding on the rights of the rest of us for their gains into power. And given that understanding, they are lost as to what to do next. Without the threat of violence, they have nothing left to attract people to their base, which is why they are withering away moment by moment like the Wicked Witch in the Wizard of Oz. They are melting and its their own fault. But as they do, if they lash out, we will have to defend ourselves. It’s the only right thing that we can all do, and I plan to stand behind Trump no matter what, no matter how high the water gets. And then some.

The King Makers of Ur: Why the CIA and Democrats in general want to impeach President Trump

Most of the readers here understand what’s going on, however for the next several months and even years, people will Google this topic looking for context and they’ll find this article, as they often do, and they’ll want to know. The only thing that the impeachment inquiry is for the Democrat Party against President Trump is that they don’t have an answer for him. Their presidential candidates on their side are terrible and they are looking for an equal playing field, so they are opening every box of Pandora to get a chance. Its not that Donald Trump did anything wrong to deserve impeachment, its that the long history of the city state and their creation of gods and kings has, and that journey is coming to an end in the United States and people who have been enriched by that system are upset about it. Particularly in the American intelligence community, which is overwhelmingly trying to point the direction of the United States back to the crusty start-up civilization of Ur in the Mesopotamian Valley dating 3500 BC.

It was along that small band of land that we know of thus so discovered that city states first rose to power starting around Ur and extending east and west into India and north Africa, then up around the northern shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Suddenly mankind went from a hunting species to an organized state led by a king then managed by various degrees of bureaucracy. Over time institutions, such as education facilities and various governments plotted for ways to best fit the formula of people management devices in these first attempts which persist to this day. Even in modern Washington D.C. the symbols of reverence for this period of human development is unmistakable. And it is to that history that modern Democrats and the various intelligence agencies are loyal, even if terribly outdated.

In America was born something new in relation to the city state and with its birth came the destruction of that old way of thinking. Of course, we can still see the hangers on from that long past, but as we speak it is dying. Even if they did manage to remove Trump from office, which they won’t, but if they did, people have had a taste of the kind of life that can come from divorcing the city state but maintaining the benefit, and they won’t be going back. People in America have no desire to move toward a Hong Kong type of society to win back freedoms we already have. And for them, Trump is the ticket to that level of peace and prosperity.

The “deep state” knows this, those members of the FBI and CIA who desire to overthrow the 2016 American election in the same way that they pick and choose winners and losers around the world for America to deal with. They want to remain the king makers of Ur, because in making or breaking people, that is where the real power is. They want to keep that power but in looking at Trump’s re-election chances for 2020, they must do something to protect themselves from the inevitable reality of their own existence. The city state of Ur was always a failure even if it did bring forth advances in human thought. The idea of a king or a centralized government ruling over the masses is for the feeble minded the ultimate fantasy, and they want it more than life itself.

That is why the CIA has become involved in yet another plot to dislodge President Trump from the office we elected him into. And they think they have history on their side, that people will pick a king over their own self-rule, and that they’ll be happy with it. Unfortunately for them, their understanding of the psychology of history is entirely too shallow, and they are in for some sad realizations. Mankind has been running from Ur since its inception, and America was founded as an ultimate escape from the city states of London, Paris and ultimately Ur. People want freedom, not more managers of their lives, and the gamble that the CIA and FBI have made in revealing their true natures is that they anticipate people will fall back within the city walls for which they are most comfortable. And they’ll behead their President out of self-preservation and fear.

This is the reason I have never really trusted the CIA or the FBI or any of the American intelligence agencies. I trust them even less now, because their understanding of the world is anchored back to those ancient biblical cities of primordial origins which rose up mysteriously from the tents of migrant hunters and thus accepted no further evolutions of thought and philosophy. The most creative of the human species have pondered these mysteries for millennia, but it was only when the United States was founded within the last several hundred years that a new reality of self-government under the miracles of capitalism became known. Then Donald Trump, the ultimate capitalist and free spirit was elected and those dreaming of a return to the city-state of Ur have since boiled in fear and frustration. This was not the world their education institutions instructed them would be coming. They had been lied to and now the very foundations of their entire belief system were now in jeopardy.

That is what is going on with the Trump impeachment, it has nothing to do with him. But everything to do with the previous power structure that has been trying to undo the American experiment since Ben Franklin and Thomas Jefferson worked out the details in the attic of a small home in New England under the bright sun of a summer day with no air conditioning. It was philosophy which guided their thoughts and a new form of economic theory devised by Adam Smith. Even John Adams was there to refine the thoughts in the context of intelligentsia. But for everyone else it was a slow go and over the many years since, out of a perceived safety of protecting our country, the FBI and CIA have thought of themselves as the king makers which gave them power over everyone. And they liked that power and in so doing had no inspiration to learn what was really on people’s minds, which is why they find themselves in 2020 looking at a second term of Donald Trump. They feel they must do something.

It is that something that we should all be concerned about, because its obvious that the deep state power that we are all witnessing will do anything to keep us all within the city walls of Ur and under their control. A wild and wooly world that is not under the control of the city state is more terrifying to them than death itself, so they will do anything to hold that power, including try to impeach President Trump, and to hell with how it looks. A world without those city walls is far more terrifying to them than the reality of what’s truly in the hearts of the electorate. Ultimately its not Trump they fear, it’s the people who voted for him. And they don’t know how to control that without just taking him away as an option only to limit our voting options to another modern update to Nebuchadnezzar. Yet, what they are learning as we speak and beyond, is that we don’t want a Nebuchadnezzar, we want self-rule and the benefits of a capitalist economy not just within the United States, but around the world. And the trajectory of history shows us that, that is the way the world is heading, in spite of the best efforts of the CIA to take those options away.

Winning at all Costs: Knowing the truth about a conflict

I was saying to a group of young professionals just a few hours ago that the brick wall they had hit up the supply chain for their endeavor was not an impenetrable barricade. They were discouraged and felt the sharp teeth of defeat cutting them in half and were ready to throw out the white flag to stop the pain. I asked them why, for which they replied, “we just can’t compete, and they won’t listen. We don’t have near enough power and influence to move the needle.” I asked them if they had done everything they could think of, including seducing the owner of the establishment, to bring them over to your way of thinking, to your version of “yes.” “They giggled a bit and said of course not, that would be unethical.” I said to them that what was unethical was failure. And that until you’ve done everything, literally, there is no white flag. Only a red one soaked in the blood of the other person’s essence. And that is the way I think about most things, whether its school levy fights, taxation in general, or the terribly unethical behavior that our federal government is showing these days now that the Trump presidency is challenging long established norms of corruption and communist sentiment deep within our governing walls. I’m a do anything to win kind of person and I see in President Trump the same kind of person, and whenever I can I teach people to think the same way, but you have to understand dear reader, victory is always a decision if you are willing to do anything to get it. And speaking honestly, and ethically, I am.

In that regard its not enough to say that “I can’t” do anything about the corruption we see in our government. I typically point out that school levies and public education in general are good targets to attack because the impact is so obvious. Public schools are a real attack on our American life, just take a sample from last week where children were advocated for climate “fairness” in public forums. They didn’t learn to talk about those topics from their parents in the comfort of their homes, those sentiments came straight out of their public educations where we have all paid a fortune to train their minds to work against us the way they are doing now. It would be easy to throw up our arms and say that the situation is impossible to deal with, but to my way of thinking, that’s never an option. I never feel like its too late or too big to do something about it, and the way to win something is to go all in to do so—whatever it takes. Well that goes for politics as well. If you are the better person, don’t lose to ethical standards that the political class have set to limit your effectiveness. Let them call your methods unfair, let them cry in the dark. Let them do whatever just so long as they lose in the process. Ethics and standards are defined by winners so the transitory considerations are not something that should limit you in elections or in the business of supporting others who are working to win. Winning is the only thing that matters no matter how big or small the objective is.

While its true that all versions of a truth have their side of the story you must understand that in the theater of world affairs the best way to defeat your passions is to convince you into taking a weakened position of negative decision making such as considering that its only little ol’ you against a great big world. We are clearly seeing in our public schools hostile agents in the students trained to attack our cultural maliciously, and that is what we are up against. Then the result of that activism is seen in our government itself who will lie, steal, and manipulate the media, our elections, and our own Bill of Rights which is the foundation of all law and order, and they’ll do anything to win. So while you are thinking of whether or not President Trump should have sent this Tweet or said that thing on the nightly news the side we are fighting with will stop at nothing to win. Yet you won’t match their efforts because you are governed by a sense of ethics that they have defined for you in their own government schools. Just as they have brainwashed innocent children in our public schools to think that climate science is going to end their life, to scare them into activism, these schools do the same to our children to support tax increases, advocate for reckless sex education, and anti-capitalist economies and the only people playing by the “rules” are us. We are controlled by ethics definitions established by our government making victories easier for them by playing by rules they have set for us, which they violate all the time.

The point of the matter is that we have a fight in front of us, right now. For many, its on the local level and the chain reaction of those decisions are going up to the federal level and are at the center of the Trump/Ukraine debate. The story isn’t whether or not there is a whistleblower who may have heard second hand whether Trump pushed Ukraine into investigating the improper use of a public office in Joe Biden, but to what extent both sides will do whatever they have to do to win. In that fight, finally on the Republican side of things we see in President Trump a person who thinks right about these matters, the Democrats have finally met someone who will go further than they will in winning elections. It has nothing to do with the truth, it has everything to do with a willingness to win. One side can’t play by some invisible rules of conduct while the other does whatever needs to be done. In that game, someone will always lose, and the other side will always win because they will do anything to do so. And that is the game we are playing whether it’s in business or politics. If you are going to be playing a game, you must play to win. If you lose anyway, then that is how we can know a truth about something. But we will never know until you’ve done everything that can be done to win, including seducing members of the other side into your way of thinking. That’s not unethical, its just another way of getting to the real truth, to discover what is really on the table in the great poker games of life.

We have a government that will do anything to win, and they’ve been like that for a long time. Finally, Republicans elected in Trump someone who will counter that sentiment. But for the rest of us, we must be willing to do the same, don’t yield to the other side based on some ethics consideration. The only thing that is ethical is to bring home a win for your side of things. And until you have done everything to secure a victory, you haven’t done enough.

Guns are to Keep Government under Control: Such is the case with the Ukraine whistleblower

Rather than debate the obvious radicalism coming out of U.S. intelligence as that is clearly the roots of the anonymous tipper regarding the Ukraine investigation into Joe Biden, I must continue to make the point that this behavior by our own government and the media apparatus that supports it is exactly why we have guns, and why we must remain a society of gun carrying people. Just like the James Comey members of the intelligence offices that are supposed to protect us from foreign entanglements are taking second hand utterances and trying to spin them out of control to look like there is some improper behavior on behalf of the president when in fact it was the other political rival, Joe Biden who had done all the dirty deeds. Any government or group who would attempt to twist such a story into a reality that accuses the President I elected into office is the same one that would forge documents and manipulate circumstances to their advantage to attempt the same to me. And that government cannot be trusted, ever.

We’ll get the details of the case but none of it really matters other than establishing intent. Here we have a president that had gone through three years of Deep State scrutiny and was entering an election with a political rival who had done a dirty deal in Ukraine. We are supposed to buy that merely asking about such a thing is somehow improper even as the media and Democrats have gone to extraordinary measures to do much worse to Trump. And that Trump isn’t supposed to pressure world leaders in the way any businessman would is swamp talk straight out of the unionized Department of Labor handbook. The rules of this scenario are created by the Deep State for use of the Deep State and nobody else. And that is what we should all be alarmed about.

These same people accusing President Trump of impropriety, when it is they who have committed the acts, are the same people screaming for more gun control for which they will administer. It will be they who decide who is mentally healthy or not, and it is they who will determine if someone should be red flagged or not—the same people who will look at Trump and say he committed a crime when it was the Democrat nominee who was working under the White House at the time who committed the real impropriety. And we are supposed to trust these people and turn over our guns to this kind of government? I don’t think so.

At best these are incompetent losers. I voted for Trump to break that cycle and I am very happy with his performance. I’m happy to keep my guns on my shelf and to go target shooting to enjoy them at my leisure. I am happy to continue to allow our election system to work as it is. But let’s get something clear. I am not happy to surrender my rights over to people like what we see in our Intelligence agencies and within the Democrat Party. I’m not going to give them rights over me on a good day, let alone a bad one. They cannot be trusted and war with them would be better than surrender. That is the bottom line of my reasoning. And every time I hear one of these stories where they try to twist around the scenario thinking we are all stupid it makes me even angrier. There is nothing wrong with how the Trump administration handled Ukraine, in any way. But there is in what Joe Biden did and many administrations before.

Really, the biggest insult is that they think we are so stupid as to trust our government over a person we voted to put in office to run it but is thwarted at every turn. If we have learned anything by the Trump presidency it’s that in previous years the Executive Branch did very little, it was these Deep State operatives who ran everything as a shadow government of unelected bureaucrats who did. They, meaning the Deep State types, used the presidency as a puppet figure to put out in front of the media, they never planned for an actual executive to run things from the White House. That’s what I expected and still do. We either have that kind of government or we don’t, which obviously I don’t think we do. But I’m not going to support a government with my taxes that isn’t, I am not willing to trade safety away for freedom. The government works for me, I don’t work for the government—and that’s the way it should be for all of us. This isn’t an ethics scenario, it’s one of management control. The government will do anything to have that control and that should alarm everyone who can read this.

At the core of all these news stories coming from corporate media, which must have an emphasis because it is so entangled in this global desire for a certain type of socialist spin on all things government, is the desire for more government control, whether it be gun control, higher taxation, more regulation, more of everything that involves pin headed bureaucrats who love the idea of controlling aspects of our lives any way they can, and to make a point they try to inspire fear in us to control votes, and even go to ethics questions such as this Ukraine deal when it is they who created the negative situation. It’s truly shameless.

The only gun control I will support under these conditions, which I don’t see changing for at least the next century, is that more people have more guns that are more powerful, and that those people know how to use them. I do not accept the view of some Great Society that James Comey, Mitt Romney, or this CIA Whistleblower have about the world. No society that they are leading is going to be great, they need to get it through their heads that they work for us, not over us. And that when they lie there are consequences. Or when they try to remove our elected president without elections, that we will notice.

The story is easy to see through, Trump is popular going into the 2020 election and all these Deep State hounds have nothing to knock him down with. Democrats are looking at their candidates and they have nothing, so from their point of view, there is nothing to lose, because they are losing anyway. But they better watch it because there are longer term consequences to their actions. I’m not one to sit and cry over how unjust things are. I expect justice and these characters are revealing perhaps more than they intended. That’s probably good because it tells us who they always were even if its sad that so many are proven not to be trusted. I will never look at the FBI or the CIA again with the same level of respect and that is a permanent situation. If we can’t manage these people from the Executive Branch, then what methods do we have except by the barrel of a gun? Because it is one of those two options. Not controlling them is not an option. They intend to control us. And to have a proper republic we must control them. So somewhere something has to give, and for the sake of peace, it has to be them.

The US Government Admits to UAPs: Reality isn’t the same for everyone

One of the most persistent criticisms of my work on this site which has permeated over the decades is my legitimate coverage of ancient aliens’ stories, well before the History Channel show was popularized. While its true that I cover lots of mainstream political topics more accurately than any other source, from school levies, to presidential politics my first love in all categories is cultures and the aspects of them that rise and fall on a universal scale. In that regard it didn’t surprise me at all that the Department of Defense and the United States Navy has come forth and admitted that UFOs are real, they are calling them Unusual Arial Phenomenon, but that yes, they are indeed true and are beyond our present technology and are quite perplexing. I would not call them “them” per say however, I would call “them” an aspect of “us.” We all come from the same places and want the same things in the context of things. But we are not all equal, for us reality is a determination limited by the human mind which expands or contracts depending on intellectual fulfillment. In essence, those who have criticized my thoughts on things eventually come to learn that what I have often stated turns out to be true, but it was the limits of their reality which prevented them from seeing it sooner.

I was in a meeting last week with a lot of smart people and there was something of an argument about reality. It was suggested that I wasn’t conveying reality to the people who needed to know something whereas my statement was that reality wasn’t the same for everyone, and that before saying something my version of reality needed to be implemented. The people controlling the reality we were discussing were lazy people not very intellectual, therefor the constraint on understanding reality was limited to their measuring instrument, their own intellects. While those people were happy to name off their Fantasy picks for the upcoming NFL games on the weekend, they didn’t know jack shit about quantum mechanics and the ability to use the mind to move mountains in an intellectual jousting period so we were discussing two different realities in the context of space and time, yet the circumstances hadn’t changed. All the elements were there, it was just limited by our ability to measure it, based on our intellectual limits.

For many, the idea that there is alien life in space flying around in spaceships that behave by unique rules of physics is terrifying, because they worry that they are not the top of the food chain in life forms and it makes them worry about being preyed upon. Of course, the American government worries about revealing what they know because in doing so they would have to admit that they aren’t in control with our physical weapons. And of course, the evidence is quite obvious that the history of mankind goes much further back along the Archaic Period, even up to at least the last Ice Age. Much of what we call history is just now being unveiled and we are shocked by what we are learning. But the essence of that shock is that government fears letting normal people know that they are not in control and never have been—when for most human beings, that illusion of control allowed their lazy minds to feaster through life following some didactic path of unhealthy living without the expectation to do more with themselves.

But nothing about meeting alien life is scary to me. I see them as just another lifeform, like we’d observe in a new species of bird, or an elephant. They are just out there doing their thing. I don’t consider them or anybody who may exist in the universe or multiverse to be superior in thought and action. They just may be on a different reality based on their unique experience. I read four books last week, spoke to hundreds of people on the upper levels of society, and personally worked over 85 hours and I still had time for my family and to enjoy life without feeling wore out. Yet I heard complaints from people who barely worked 40 hours how tough life was and how they couldn’t find time to read the numbers and letters on their television remote. Those are the types of people who look at these UFOs and UAPs and are scared. They are the same people who have criticized my many articles about ancient civilizations in the pre-Columbian North America sphere of influence and in sites predating Europe’s reigns of kings and queens. That well before there was communism in Asia that they had already traveled the world many times over and that the North American Indian was in fact the results of those travels. They were not indigenous people for the modern progressive movement. The reality of these suggestions is limited to the intellect of the proponents. Live a week in my shoes and you will see things vastly different.

And that’s going to be the result of the meeting of minds that will eventually take place once we admit to ourselves that the Milky Way is teeming with life and we are far from the only advanced species functioning within it. I have never allowed my reality to be determined by dumb people and that is always at the core of my work whether we are talking about local and national government, or science and technology. The theme for me is consistent and my support for the Second Amendment even comes into play here. Dumb people who have lazy intellects are not going to be allowed to shape my reality and that is the fight we are all conducting. And we’ll find that the lifeforms flying those UAPs are no different than us in that regard. Intelligent life tends to want to build, not destroy. Dumb people do that. The whole question about life from other places visiting us here on earth has been suggested as a reality by dumb people.

Once we realize that there is life visiting us from space, and that this behavior has been going on for many millions of years, we can move on to other stages of human development that is not chained like a prisoner to our current versions of history that look back 4000 measly years and thinks that is a long time. Humans are much older than that and likely so are the lifeforms in those UAPs. Nothing would surprise me about what we learn there. What is surprising is that people are so lazy in our present age that they can’t wrap their mind around it until they’ve been exposed to the material for a decade or two. It has always been obvious to me. And while it can be frustrating to listen to people try to defend their reality built on lazy assumptions about the universe, I also understand that all thinking people will eventually come around to my version of reality anyway, because while reality can be different depending on how its measured, ultimately, it is what it is. A mind that can handle more reality than a mind that can’t will obviously see more of it and work with a larger aspect of it. And that is what really scares people about the UFO assumptions and why to appease the masses we have always tossed that study into the bin of tin foil hatted conspiracy theory. Let’s just call it what it really has been, lazy, loser people who didn’t want to challenge themselves with thought so they could continue the illusion that they were the only life in the world that mattered. But in reality, it is the mind of the hungry intellect whether it be an alien or a human, that truly thrives in this universe, no matter what level on the history of technology they find themselves on.

Corporations are Great: Star Wars, Disney and all the great things that come from making money

I personally love corporations, even though most of them function as socialist organizations. And it is difficult for a company like Disney to be creative as a result, as opposed to the early days when Walt Disney guided a much more capitalist enterprise. All large corporations have the same trouble when they become more socialist than capitalist for a lot of reasons which I am covering in my upcoming book, The Gunfighter’s Guide to Business. But I couldn’t help but notice that the Star Wars problem and overall fan reaction to the new Black Spire Outpost in Disney World has an anti-corporation bias which goes completely against the nature of what many Star Wars fans stand for. Reading recently the Black Spire Outpost novel about the new Star Wars land the situation was obvious for which we see muddled in most of our understandings of corporate culture and everyone gets it wrong.

In the new version of Star Wars, the post Disney purchase, which I think they have gotten wrong, but more because of their own cultural limits than out of maliciousness the various factions of population are the Resistance, which many liberals directly attribute to our contemporary president of Donald Trump. The First Order, which is an authoritarian regime of micro controlling government which Tea Party types would associate with the Progressive Movement. Then there are the scum and villainy—the smugglers and bounty hunters who live outside the law always running from the law as space bound pirates roaming about freely, but often without a sense of family or home. I personally relate to this last faction, but in all three I see a kind of infantile understanding of human existence, however compared to other art forms, its much more sophisticated than any other entertainment option. For instance, I think the prequal films, especially Revenge of the Sith is a very sophisticated examination into how government can be a good entity one day, then the enemy of the people on the very next.

The problem Disney has is that they try to appeal to all the leftist types, the transgenders, the feminists, the socialist Democrats which all corporations can relate to, so to disguise their need to make money—which is the goal of all corporations. The problem is the dysfunctional relationship that corporations have with appeasement politics so that they can earn the right to do what they do, and that is to be a profit driven enterprise. The Disney problem with Star Wars is the same one that George Lucas could never deal with, that was to use the great money generated off of Star Wars and its merchandise to continue expanding the ability to create great mythology, because it takes money to tell these stories. So there is nothing shameful about turning a profit even though Disney and now Star Wars seems ashamed of it.

Out of those three factions the stories never deal with people’s need to make a living. The members of the Resistance don’t have jobs, they are given shelter and camaraderie for their efforts in fighting for the cause, but they aren’t out building families, buying starships or buying property. And that is the same for the First Order and the Empire that came before them. The members of the order are corporate in their design, but the individuals aren’t interested in buying houses and using their finances to gain prestige in the greater society. It is among the bounty hunters and smugglers that we can most relate because they are concerned about personal gain, which says a lot about a science fiction story because at least there is room for such contemplations.

In that way the Black Spire Outpost built by Disney is unique because the Resistance and First Order are present, but the town belongs to the pirates, criminals and smugglers who really make that galaxy an interesting place to visit. That’s interesting because even as a massive corporation who is out to make a lot of profit, and deserve to, Disney understands that at the heart of Star Wars is the every day people just trying to make a few bucks so they can live in the universe and if that is the baseline of understanding, then we can all build off it toward a mythic masterpiece that can mean a great deal to the customers.

In the book The Black Spire Outpost I enjoyed the corporate namedropping of all the things that can be done in the actual Disney Park, the names of the drinks you could buy in the cantina, the clothes and other souvenirs. There is nothing wrong with Disney selling merchandise and wanting to make money. The problem is, Disney has allowed for their own shaming by trying to appeal to leftist anti-capitalist groups to prove that they aren’t bad people, like many corporations are pushed into liberal causes to show that they aren’t big mean capitalists. However at the heart of what consumers want is those very traits and if the bottom line is so important, then Disney and all corporations should embrace capitalism publicly, and not hide their real desires behind masks of socialism. Its OK to want to make a profit and people don’t mind paying. But where the fears of corporate Disney ruining Star Wars reside is the real fear is in losing what the stories really meant to people. Nobody is interested in a bunch of altruistic self sacrificers. They want characters who are driven by the same needs they are in real life.

Only Disney and the incredible amount of money they can make could have built something like a real Black Spire Outpost and if it wasn’t profitable, they couldn’t do it. So for the benefit of everyone, we all need to drop the socialist perspective, which the Resistance certain is and the First Order and just admit that Star Wars as a property is all about making money then reinvesting that money into something good, like expanding the myth. Disney shouldn’t be shy about that and neither should their fans. I was talking to a person the other day who spent $800 in the Oga’s Cantina, which I understand completely. I mean where else could you sit down and have some exotic drinks to play Sabacc with the Millennium Falcon parked right outside? It takes money to build all that stuff and to maintain that reality to enjoy leisurely. If not for all the money that the Disney corporation has made, nothing at the Black Spire would be possible.

Corporations are not evil, making money is not wrong. But trying to adopt socialist ideas in the products that the corporation produces is bad because its not honest. And that’s when Disney gets scrutinized by its own fan base who have been told that the Resistance is all about being altruistic yet the company itself wants to make all the money it can. Well, yes, of course they are. We have allowed our society to criticize the very thing we enjoy most, we like to make money and we like to see companies become wealthy so they can create things we ultimately enjoy. The ideas of the Resistance and the First Order are not completely fleshed out ideas, but in the aspects of Star Wars that has received some of the best attention are the parts that involve the them of the Black Spire Outpost and that is a good sign for the future not just of Star Wars and Disney, but for corporations in general.

Seeing What’s Really There: Why Iran attacked Saudi oil fields and why we shouldn’t give a damn

One thing is very clear about liberal intellectual circles, and even conservative ones, they rely on the rules of society to disguise what they cannot see about life. They are blind as bats without the sonar to navigate a dark cave on a black, moonless night. So, it should not be surprising that they have no idea what to make out of the sudden Iranian attack on Saudi Arabian crude oil facilities launched from within Iran sending cruise missiles into their targets knocking out 5% of the oil production for the world. Obviously, Iran is struggling under the U.S. sanctions and they hope by taking their competitor down a notch or two that they might survive on the world marketplace just a bit longer. Having friends like Russia, North Korea and even China doesn’t mean much these days so all the old Marxist regimes are struggling to find their way in the world of capitalist markets. All they can do is lash out as Iran did.

For those who can’t see clearly what the situation is, the Iranian revolution during the 70s was a Marxist incursion meant to spread socialism and communism all over the Middle East to control the oil fields. Communist policy makers in the United States trained at our best colleges and sent forth to do the bidding of evil over regulated the oil industry in America so that Iran and the Middle East in general could leverage the world and its capitalism through high prices on barrels of oil which is essentially an attack on every one of us and our cars. This game went on all through the past decades as America was pulled into war after war to protect those interests and even when Iran was losing, they were winning because of their Marxist intentions, which was why the Obama administration was trying to help Iran along, to keep that machine running for the cause.

But Americans aren’t stupid, they voted for Trump, he deregulated the industry and that has made America for the first time in our history oil independent and has driven down through competition the prices on a barrel of oil. That has also given us leverage to sanction Iran for bad behavior because we don’t need their oil. In pain, economically since most of the vision of the typical Iranian is regional, they blame Saudi Arabia for that leverage, because they haven’t yet accepted that America can produce its own oil. So they attacked the crude oil facilities to get themselves at a seat at the negotiating table.

It has been a complete myth for intelligentsia to assume that America went around the world controlling territories out of imperialism, or simply so that we could have cheap oil for our cars. Every person who says such a thing is lost as to the real cause of what makes what and who the good guys are in the world. America stands for the creative potential of capitalism and freeing oppressed people who have been living under tyrannical leadership for all of their history. Socialism is all about centralized authority which limits human creativity and freedom, which is why China must steal intellectual information from their competitors just to stay relevant in the marketplace, because imagination and development do not happen when human minds are constrained to regulation.

America had an obligation to stand behind capitalism in the East and in the Middle East as well as Central America because it was an attack on the progress that could be made under that political philosophy. There are of course nuances between Adam Smith’s Wealth of Nations and Karl Marx’ Communist Manifesto but our human development has brought us to a place where we can’t have both. The problem is most people can’t tell the difference. They have been taught in their public educations and their government that socialism is the path of the future, but logic and business say that capitalism is the only means of real advancement. The two aren’t compatible. For many years the United States did go around the world trying to put out every little Marxist revolution to keep markets open and as free as possible, not just for ourselves, but for the benefit of the world that didn’t always appreciate it. But the real villains were within the American government where they set policies to push America beyond its borders and into that imperialist accusation that the liberal pinheads like to talk about all the time.

As a wealthy guy who knows how the game is played President Trump didn’t need a fancy room of advisors to tell him that the way to beat everyone at the oil table was to make ourselves independent. He just did it and now even if nobody sells oil to the United States, we can make our own. That has put all these tyrants at a severe disadvantage and taken away all their leverage—particularly Iran. Even by knocking out Saudi Arabian oil fields, the American economy will not be stifled and that is the big picture as to what happened as a result of this attack by Iran.

Should the United States get involved in the conflict and protect Saudi Arabia, well, no. Its true, we have been selling arms to Saudi Arabia to defend itself. They can defend themselves. The people who don’t see so well, the television pundits and cable news producers will want to tell dramatic stories about how barrels of oil will go up as a result, but the truth is, America doesn’t need their oil. We have our own. And that is a pretty good place to be. There is no reason to attack Iran. They are already on the brink of annihilation due to their commitment to Marxist ideology for which they needed to have domination over the oil market for it to work. The moment that America took that leverage away, Iran as a powerhouse of world affairs ended. It’s just taking a while for the rest of the world, the blind people, to catch up.

There is nothing for America to do about Iran, or Saudi Arabia. We can sell more weapons to the Saudi’s to help them defend themselves, but there is no reason to put boots on the ground in any fashion. The Iranians are lashing out with everything they have left trying hard to excerpt force to bring people to the negotiating table. But there is nothing for them to barter with. The problem that leftists used against America was the anti-imperialist angle that always put capitalism in a bad light, because American leaders just didn’t know how to defend it. They’d provoke America into action then blame them for overreaching in corners of the world over indigenous people who were quietly being recruited into socialism and communism. But you can’t call America an imperialist if they get their own oil out of Texas and Ohio and stay out of wars in the Middle East. We can just make our own. They can fight it out all they want. And that is why this new game is so much better than the old one. And why finally America can win, because the villains are all now exposed and standing behind barrels of oil that nobody really needs or cares about.

How School Levy Supporters are Turned into Weapons of War: The secret nobody wants to talk about

Being something as an expert in human communication I have known for a long time what the game of public education was, and that was to turn kids in America from a product of their families into products of the state and yes, there has been a grand conspiracy going back to FDRs administration, even older to turn the American government into supporting such an activity on behalf of the labor unions who have controlled Washington D.C. from their inception. As we all know by now, every labor union in the world is a socialist organization, and that is their goal for everyone else. This is certainly true of teacher unions, but also of the government unions in the Beltway and elsewhere, even on network television, which is of course controlled by labor unions. Hollywood is controlled by labor unions; this is how all these parties have such a unified message. They all want socialism so it wasn’t hard to get public education curriculums to be constructed with socialist messages with the intentions of removing children from their parents and reorienting them to products of the state.

If anybody needed proof just look at how government in general has responded to the Trump administration, and the radicalism even reached deep into the FBI itself, and when they were caught, they tried to blame the Russians. No matter what your political beliefs, this fact cannot be escaped, and is proof of just how deep this problem goes into our own government. So it should not be a surprise that many of the communist planks that we were all worried about as Americas seeped into our government and that their plan to dominate us was not with direct conflict which hard core Americans raised on westerns on television and in movies would fight against, but that they would slow cook the situation over generations of young people and slowly rot the United States from the inside out. The fear of Trump’s America first approach is that all these decades of brainwashing is now in jeopardy of being reversed, that people will turn toward Trump’s Americanism and away from global socialism. That is the reason for the FBI activism that reached into the Obama White House and the panic through the media that is currently taking place. Because this has been a plan from the beginning and hundreds of thousands if not millions of Americans were suckered into it, and now its all in jeopardy. But how did that happen? Well, it all started at our local schools and the type of parents that teacher unions befriend to help their cause and how those recruits were brought into the fold.

One thing that most radical school levy supporters have in common is guilt, guilt that they have put their own goals in life above their children, so they want to believe that system is good, so they fight to support public school teachers, their level of pay, and the government schools themselves. Most mothers biologically feel the pull to care for their children at home, but for the ones who have fought that urge, will dedicate themselves to the system that gave them free babysitting so that they could do their selfish contributions to their “own” life. Yet what none of them think to contemplate is that the feminist movement itself was put in place by the same government geniuses to separate the mother from the father, to get women to invest in “society” instead of their families for the primary goal of separating the kids from their parents. That has always been the strategy and to confirm it just look back to the communist writings that took place before the Russian takeover and when China was finally seduced by communists.

These levy supporters, particularly the radical guilt driven mothers are creations of the state to begin with, their guilt given to them by a deliberately faulty system to drive them toward some sort of unity. And that’s where things get diabolical. The public-school system knew that this would be the byproduct of the parental ambitions and that they could take that guilt and make allies out of them, thus you have the maniacal school levy supporter. Knowing that the children are the best weapons to pull on the guilty parent’s heart strings controlling words are sent home to the parents to help bring them into the fold, such as the use of parent teacher conferences and other subtle workshops to control the parent into the public school institutionalized thinking, such as conveying to the parents that “we” the school system, “need the parents to understand our problems—and to use words that make them feel how important it is to help us.” And to accomplish this the school system uses words that provoke anger, fear and joy to control the emotional state of the guilt bound parent, such as “failure of a school levy ‘may’ cause a poor report card for our district,” or it “May mean we must cut busing or teachers.” For parents who have put their own careers over their children, and even their marriages under their own needs to be a “strong individual” the guilt drives them to saying yes to these comments and thus throwing their children even deeper into the public education meat grinder.

Public education is all about control, control over private property by sucking off the tax money of a district to pay teachers with open hostilities toward American values such as proper business conduct and capitalism in general. And they are anti-family and want very much to replace them with instruments of the state ran by socialist teacher unions. They get away with it by hanging guilt, partly what they created in the first place, over people who just want to believe they are doing the right thing for their children whether it is divorcing the father of their children or getting a powerful job serving the state to show that they are independent of their power—yet the state then becomes their new lover and everyone knows it. Daddy government loans them the money for their student loans, owns their mortgage, and it owns their children leaving them with nothing but compliance and turmoil over the guilt of everything they’ve squandered away. So, what’s left for them, they become those sad edifices of adult carcasses passing out pro tax literature at high school football games and looking like suckers in the process that everyone secretly despises. They have sold their children to a socialist public education system and they then become socialists themselves so that they can feel good about it. But they never do, and the government doesn’t care. Once the state has the kids, they don’t care about the parents once they get too old to pay taxes and contribute to the state. The state is done with them and it is in that realization that so many adults are grown up and miserable for the rest of their lives. When it counted most, they weren’t there for their children and the kids always resent them for it.

This game isn’t new, but many are just now coming to understand it. Thankfully, that is part of the Trump administration starting to turn things back to how they should have been. Its healthy for people to have the debate, but in the meantime, a lot of children are having their minds ruined by public education that never wanted a free thinking, and brilliant mind. Public education has always been about individualized destruction and service to the state, to make a compliant taxpayer to big government ideas and once they no longer had the money to pay, they were to be cashed in and replaced with a new generation of youth. And that is what the big asses and overstuffed t-shirts of the levy supporters never want to admit to themselves, but they all learn eventually. Because that is the real name of the game and until that changes, it will always be a problem.

Public Education was Free for a Reason: The communist and socialist agenda that was their goal all along

I suppose that its refreshing now to hear so many people finally get what public education has been all about, all along. I’ve never been a fan and something that has bothered me for a long time going way back to the first time I went on WLW radio to discuss the Lakota school finance problems the issue was raised and at the time I was the only one talking about it. Back then the pro tax advocates that are always in every school system cheering on tax increases to pay the bounty on that the teacher’s union demands routinely from contract to contract were pointing out that I wasn’t just anti-tax, I was anti public education and that I shouldn’t be given a legitimate platform to speak from. Well, I was also good for ratings and was willing to publicly take on people like Julie Shaffer, the current pro tax school board member with debate that was embarrassing for the pro tax advocates, because normally nobody ever challenged them. But it was true, the money was always one part of it. My concern has always been, its not that education isn’t offered, but that its what was taught that mattered, in the entire education system that I had experienced in America from first grade to the higher degrees of college was socialism and communism. Not the skills of capitalism that were needed for our society. However, that is changing, many more people are coming to realize decades later what I have been saying all along and they are talking about it much more openly. Videos like the one below is no longer fringe but are part of the mainstream understanding of what public education really is.

Education has always been important to me and continues to be. But I’ve never considered what is offered these days to be education, I’d just call it propaganda. We talk about teachers as if they are “heroes” because they baby sit our kids while we are off working, then we are perplexed when they grow up with all these crazy ideas about “fairness,” gender roles, and economic theory. Lately it has been shocking to the mainstream news that most millennials support socialism over capitalism and are now voting that way for open communists like Bernie Sanders who clearly wants to turn America into China. To the many people who have begged me to be a school board member at that same school of Lakota I have had to explain that my position has always been to dismantle the public education system, not to support it with further ruined minds. I am of the belief that it would be better for parents to pay for their children’s education out of pocket then to get the free public park version that the government offers. I’d be miserable trying to defend a system that clearly wasn’t working and shouldn’t work because the intent all along was to make compliant socialist kids, not free-thinking capitalists.

I do admire people who do care about these education topics and fight to make it better, but clearly the only way that change can happen is from the top, from a presidential administration that then flows down through congress their strategy to finally get their hands around these issues. The philosophy of education must be dealt with. Dealing with the cost can make people assess whether or not the education system is valuable to them, but if they think that they are going to send their kids to public school to make geniuses out of them like Albert Einstein, they have another thing coming. Its not that there are lots of smart kids biologically gifted toward a tendency to succeed, its that they have been taught to push all that deep inside into a repressed state for the socialist goals of the education system itself. After all, a government of any kind wants to stay in power and the best way to do that is to dumb down the future participants that elect them to that power. Not free-thinking people.

I think my kids and now grandkids have a much better shot at a balanced life than I did going through the public-school system. I feel that as an influence leader in the lives of the people I care about that I must overcome the brain washing they get in the public-school system. That in the competitive field of thought, that my ideas needed to be judged better than what they were getting from their social influences. For whatever reason I figured out the public education game early in my life, while I was still there. I had a terrible kindergarten teacher which was probably a blessing and did set the stage for the rest of my life. Later that crazy old lady reportedly had major mental problems which surprised nobody. But she was considered at the time one of those heroic teachers that everyone is always talking about, and I had to somehow survive.

I would say I had above average intelligence, everything came quick to me in school, I always knew the answers before most of the questions were asked, but it was clear to me that the focus of the public school experience wasn’t in developing individualized thought, it was in learning to get along with the other kids and to fall into some invisible category of social behavior for which the school system seemed obsessed with developing. This trend was eased into over the beginning grade school years but seemed poised to exacerbate itself especially during the puberty years once the need for mating was aligned with the government’s need to control ambition and human focus. If the public schools could get kids thinking about their sexual natures, they could lower their aims for bigger things in life and thus keep them comfortably under the thumb of a powerful all needing government that consumes resources like a chocolate obsessed candy lover popping M&Ms like they were going out of style. Most people reading this understand what I’m saying whether or not they are 60 years old or 10. The obvious damage is quite apparent in our adult population.

Its not that these problems could be solved at the local level because everything was set regarding curriculum at the federal level and enforced by an international labor union which beholds the standards across the world. In that way the same basic things taught to some kid in France is the same one taught to a kid in Alabama, regional considerations thus being minimal. And in that way, a path toward global communism, that has been a fantasy of Karl Marx supporters from the very beginning, might be realized.

It has been a challenge to get people to look beyond the “free” nature of education and to accept that you are getting what you paid for. It has always been difficult to convince people that they couldn’t purchase their way into a high paying job by trading away free thought for a college education that for most people has been entirely too expensive and was teaching all the wrong things. I was particularly disappointed to learn when I went to my first year of college, and friends of mine joined fraternities with their hazing rituals that all the intimidating standards that high school teachers had been warning about simply weren’t true. College was all about partying and losing. It was about sexual conquests and puking on the sidewalk after getting shitfaced at one of the many bars. And if you skipped all your classes, nobody cared. The colleges just wanted your tuition money and for you to show up at their sports games that were televised so that they could recruit more financial contributors and run them through the communist meat grinder. Lucky for me, I read a lot of books on my own and had pursued my own education all of my life outside of the public school and college system and I was able to arrive as an adult fully intact. But most people are not so lucky or committed, and the results are obvious.

The solution to the public education problem is not more school levies, or even hiring more teachers. It’s changing the very nature of the education into something that is actually useful. And that education system needs to be specifically American, something that prepares students for life in America, not some global communist community. Until that happens, kids and their minds will continue to be wasted and they will spend most of their lives trying to unlearn everything they have learned. Because if they want to be good contributors to society, and to have good lives of their own, they need to get as far away from public education and the current college experience as possible, if they really want to be smart and functioning under free will. We have a long way to go as a society, but its good to see that more and more, people are asking those questions on their own and finally accepting that what I’ve been saying for four decades was true all along.
