Corporations are Learning Who is Really in Charge: Customers are earned, not slaves to progressive sentiment

Most of my readers don’t like it when I do Star Wars articles, but especially in a post Covid-19 economy, or the economy that we’ll have after the November of 2020 election. I take measurements from many places and see the breadcrumbs in the least likely locations, certainly not places others in the economy are deducting wisdom from, so these occasional side roads are useful to readers with a mind to consider them. Many of the predictions I made about coronavirus, the Marxist plot that is global in nature and has seeped into our medical system at all levels, and the push by politicians to unite the Democratic Party behind sheer chaos and below the line thinking were made by using the places I look as opposed to what others do to arrive at conclusions and for me, the way Star Wars has evolved over the last few years as a property now owned by Disney. What I am saying about Star Wars, and what I have said over the last ten years or so are very much part of a micro economy that could tell the future story of Nike, Disney as a company, the NFL, NBA, Wal-Mart, just about any corporate entity that is trying to align itself to deal with this next decade that is unfolding before us.

First, I have to say about Star Wars and what Kathleen Kennedy did to the expanded universe that was so popular in the books turned out to be correct. Disney finally after the ‘Rise of Skywalker’ movie came out has had to decide to get George Lucas involved again along with Dave Filoni and Jon Favreau to repair the franchise and one of the ways they are planning to do that is to repair the fan relationship to the expanded universe, just as I said they had to do. Kathleen Kennedy for those who need the review really screwed up Star Wars when she brought social justice elements to the film series and watered down the content so badly that with all the power that Disney has had fans just didn’t like it and the brand was severely weakened by the experience. I personally liked ‘Rise of Skywalker,’ but that was largely because Kennedy stopped screwing up and let the new generation make the movie they knew fans wanted. The contents of the story were not very good, but it was a step in the right direction. But now, Disney knows what it must do. It would have been better for them if they had listened to articles I had written on the matter before they destroyed their market share, but its better late than never. The big sign that getting George involved again is that they are apparently resurrecting the character of Mara Jade from the expanded universe, which is good. Kennedy had figured that people would always love Star Wars so she could afford to abuse its relationship with the fans and inject all the progressive talking points as a lesson to the viewers and a way to shape society in a more progressive direction. Obviously that plan has fallen apart and she is now out in Lucasfilm, the company that makes the Star Wars films for Disney now, as Favreau and Filoni are now running things with the original creator, George Lucas.

Kathy Kennedy is a product of the Hollywood culture, she and her husband Frank—the guy who got hit in the head with a chop block in ‘Raiders of the Lost Ark’ have been producers for a long time, most of their adult lives. But in all that time they never learned to make movies as good as George Lucas and Steven Spielberg. They witnessed up close how things were made and based on that it should have been assumed that they could make the pie as good as anybody. But they couldn’t and never did. At best, as in the Jurassic World movies they were able to copy what their teachers did, but they couldn’t produce original content. And in Kennedy’s case, who had been involved in movies like E.T. and every other big Spielberg film, she was so oblivious to the elements of what makes a great film, that she assumed Star Wars as a property would survive just by putting up the images and music, by in turning the whole franchise into a Black Lives Matter campaign add, or in returning to the progressive days of women victimization as if Democrats still thought that they were fighting for the right to vote. She was considered the best in the business of all the minds in Hollywood, and she didn’t understand. I did of course and so said way in advance of the trouble. I know why she and others didn’t know and I have put those reasons in my new book The Gunfighter’s Guide to Business. Not specifically about Star Wars, but more about how such people lose sight of the original goal of something.

The same thing that happened to Star Wars is going to happen to virtually everything else in the American economy. Such as the audaciousness of Target and Wal-Mart to become among the many companies demanding customers wear masks before shopping in their facilities over fears of Covid-19, or NASCAR banning the Confederate Flag and promoting Bubba Wallace, a very average driver who likely only has the job because he’s black, as the second coming of Christ. The fans get it, yet the corporation of NASCAR who wants to keep the sponsors all lined up is only thinking of the elements of what make people attracted to the sport, not the sport itself. Due to the shut downs and Marxist takeovers of many sectors of America’s economy people are still doing what people did, just as people who were Star Wars fans moved on and did other things once Disney screwed up the expanded universe, but the corporate heads have failed to assume that they can control their customers, not the other way around. It is the customer who ultimately votes with their wallet. Its not FedEx and other companies who threatened to take money away from the Washington Redskins to change their name in the NFL to make a bunch of Indians who weren’t complaining about it, who are in control. It’s the beer chuggers tail gating at 6 AM on a Sunday morning in America who are, and by changing the name it is assumed that they’ll just follow, like the Star Wars makers thought audiences would follow if they still had space ships, but changed the characters from white cowboys to blacks and white women fighting for equality.

Markets aren’t created, they are discovered. What makes people want to buy this or that isn’t a creation of the big corporation, its uncovered by development. People like what they like, the corporations are not in control. Rather, it’s the other way around as Disney had to discover with Star Wars, a proven commodity until they put their micromanaged hands all over it with social messages instead of just a fun story designed to pit bad guys against good guys for a fight everyone could relate with. A customer earned is a valuable thing, but the customer isn’t married to an abusive relationship for the rest of their lives. People have choice and all corporations have to understand that the best they can do is give people what they want, and work hard to keep them coming. But nobody is going to cry if people stop buying Nike shoes because the NBA is thought of as a China loving communist sympathizer and ratings drop through the floor because people want to be entertained, not lectured to. Whether its Star Wars or Apple, whatever the company is, having a customer is a great thing, and they should never assume that customer will follow them for the rest of their days no matter what they do. At best, the customer will follow until the day that the company stops giving them what they want.

It is the consumer who is in control, not the government, not the CEO of some company, it’s the value of where a dollar is spent who is. And that is an element that all big government types have been fighting and refuse to admit to themselves is the case. But then again, Kathy Kennedy had been groomed by Hollywood all her life to be a great CEO of the best entertainment property in the world, and she screwed it all up in a few short years, likely to never fully recover. And the same will be the case for the many companies who jumped on the Covid-19 bandwagon to inspire progressive change in society instead of serving the needs of the customer—whatever those might be. And that is what is going to happen next in every aspect of the American economy. The needs and desires will go on, but what will change is who delivers those goods. Big corporations are very vulnerable, but the money that is spent is not. Someone is going to make the public happy. And that lesson is one that many are learning as we speak as the Covid-19 media hype has turned out to be mostly a hoax and people will remember who panicked and who didn’t, and the world of tomorrow will be shaped with that sentiment in mind.

Public Education is to Blame for the Marxist Attack against America in 2020: They obviously didn’t think things through

The first failure of all the chaos we are experiencing presently is education. Our public education dollars were wasted on the minds of these insurgents for Black Lives Matter and Antifa, and the intention of the instruction was to turn weak minds against America as agents of insurrection. As the political left tends to like to think of themselves as sophisticated for having progressive beliefs, truly the reality is that they are not the brightest tacks in the box which is what makes them so dangerous when a political party like their’s advertise themselves as sophisticated, and even moral. Smart people tend to give dumb people a little room to learn the things they need to learn in life because the smart people are generally happy. Yet the bad education of our public schools taught the very stupid, and lazy that the way to get along in life was to harass smart people into compliance with the mob and for years, rather than fight, smart people just went somewhere else where they could think about smart things undisturbed. It doesn’t matter the color or the sex of the individual with thoughts on their minds, one thing that they all have in common is that they generally like to be left alone. That’s why they are smart, because they think of the consequences of an action usually before doing it.

Watching these mobs of leftists who are obviously agents of modern day communism rip down statues, throw things at innocent people and hit them in the head on city streets, and to generally cheerlead the complete defunding of the police, they obviously have not thought about the consequences. Their violent threats against normal American people functioning under capitalism and the rule of law can be viewed as nothing but an attack, and only a stupid person would think its OK. The actions of congresswomen Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rahida Tlaib, and Ayanna Pressley have only seen the light of day because people are generally smart enough to not throw their carcasses across the hood of a car and skin them alive for attacking our way of life the way they have. But don’t think that people aren’t thinking about it. This isn’t high school, this is real life. Its not racist to want to attack someone who is coming after you. White people can’t change their skin color either. And standing by and being quiet while attackers seek to change life as we know it into a socialist terror just isn’t something that will be acceptable. For these attackers against America and the Trump Administration in general whom we elected to represent us, most of us still believe in elections and a respect of the rule of law. Take that away, and what do they think is going to happen? People are not just going to sit around and take it, the way they have. They haven’t been respectful of our laws, so what makes them think that the silent majority will suddenly obey their laws if they manage to cheat their way into an election and gain the powers of office? Their public educations didn’t tell them the results, instead, they led them to believe that they could get away with it and bring to America a socialist coup.

If there were no police, or courts, or jails, then what is stopping any of us from completely eradicating their existence from the face of the earth? I know quite a few people who consider themselves among the 3%, which they call themselves as a tip of the hat to the Revolutionary War. It was only 3% who fought in that war for independence, and likely if there is some kind of Marxist takeover of the American government, the same type of numbers will resist them with extreme violence which is permissible by our Constitution. Its expected even. A quiet compliance to authority is not in the cards, let’s just say that. Before Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and her Antifa radicals start telling anybody what to do under a Marxist regime, she will be faced with armed conflict which none of her people are prepared to deal with. So that is the end game, and what the public education institutions ignored from the beginning. Public education was formed as the political left’s version of a re-education camp to train kids to think away from their parents and turn them into soldiers of insurrection, not to make them into productive people as adults. That’s why so many of them are lost presently. Fortunately for those who have decent families to teach them anyway, many grow up to become functioning people. But some grow up into losers like Alexandria Cortez and terrorists from Somalia like Ilhan Omar. Using a shield of racism, they seek to turn America into Somalia, not to run from places like that and seek shelter in freedom.

People were willing to give these attackers a little slack until they saw what they intended. I have always warned about it, but some people need to see for themselves, and now that they have, if a representative like Trump is not their to stand in the way of violence and mayhem, then without hope, they will attack those insurgents and the real violence will begin. Once you take away hope from people who aren’t stupid, you give them no choice but to fight back, and because they were smarter to begin with, they can devise more ways of violence than the stupid thugs that we see on the news destroying our city streets by weak governors and blue mayors. I know I don’t want to hurt anybody but if I can’t call the police, or prosecute in a court of law because they have all been taken over by socialist radicals committed deeply to Marxism, which is what many of us have learned during these 4 years of Trump, not in what he did, but in how the Deep State reacted to him, then eliminating the opposition is the only step left. Surrendering to their authority simply is not. I’m not going to do it, and they don’t have enough people in the world to force the issue. The great thing about modern warfare as opposed to sticks and swords from the past is that smart people can use science to vanquish their foes. And that is at the heart of freedom wherever it tries to grow.

To say that public education was agenda driven and that people didn’t want to see what was happening to their children is an understatement. But even as I have pointed this out for decades under a flag of civility, I can predict the end just as easily. The administrators who hatched this plot with our education system to the people teaching it did not think of the outcome that would ultimately defeat their intentions. They aren’t ready for the level of resistance that will meet them because they assumed that in the past when people did not fight them, that taking over America would be easy. What they didn’t pay attention to was that people act just as they do in high school, they hide in the shadows just so they can get through the day and get home to where they think its safe for them. In this case, people moved out into the suburbs to be away from liberal mayors and cities. But when pressed, people do and will fight if they see no other way out and that is what is happening presently. They’ll vote for Trump and if he doesn’t win and the Marxist think they have the keys to government, then that government will be wiped away by elements beyond their control. And that isn’t what their socialist teachers taught them in civics class. But they are going to likely learn the hard way.

The Marxist Plot to take over America is Old: In the end, free market desires will win out

Its not that its new, I wrote a lot on the topic over ten years ago and have done many radio broadcasts on the subject well before “pod casts” were even a thing. History has recorded in abundant detail the socialist and Marxist insurrections of Germany, Russia, China, Vietnam, Korea, Iran all over Africa, Cuba, Central America, South America, the Mexican Revolution, Europe and even specifically the Mandela communist insurgency of South Africa. Socialist International is what it used to be called has had jealous eyes pointed toward America for well over 100 years, so the battleplan they use to take over countries is well known, and now, under the cover of a virus outbreak during an election year, they are making their move to topple America as a capitalist country in the same way. The only argument that there is on the matter is that people just have a hard time believing that such a thing could happen in America, that there would be domestic enemies that radicalized. So the events of the day are stunning to them, unbelievable even as they see cars burning in the streets and people being beaten violently as Biden and the Democrats smile on with approval. Yes, these guys are playing for keeps. They want you to submit, or die—literally.

Corporations have been hedging their bets that some form of socialism will become a new norm in America based on the public reaction to Covid-19 and the tyranny of the many governors who have rolled over and played dead to the Marxist World Health Organization, so now we are seeing mandatory mask rules for private places of business like Wal-Mart, and Target otherwise people might call the hotline to the government and report them to the Health Department So that’s the setting for our present 2020 circumstances. However, even though it all looks scary I have some perspective for you dear reader. This perspective doesn’t mean you can take anything for granted in this year’s election. To my mind, it won’t even be close. If we all do our jobs, there should be a return to both houses of congress to the Republicans and President Trump should win with around 400 electoral votes. The acceleration of this socialist plot is largely to our advantage as capitalists, because this plan they are hatching is premature, they have acted before they were ready. They are forced to go all in now when they would have preferred to let the cake bake for another decade or so. And because of that they are set to see a complete collapse of their movement, strategically.

The reason why is that people have been moving toward more freedom for several centuries now and capitalism was born out of that desire. As the rest of the world moved toward one world government Marxism this is the reason America has such a high immigrant population and why its such a large target for global Marxists to overthrow, because those socialist and communist plans don’t work if people have options. Yet in America even under the current crises of Covid, people have choices, and ultimately so long as Donald Trump is on the ballot, that is where the silent majority discussion comes into play. And while in the short-run people have accepted the limits of economic activity with sports and other entertainment, its not going to work. Corporations are playing along right now to survive, but we are quickly reaching a point where choice will force free markets to ignore the stupid laws of corrupt governors and the Marxist medical advocates intent to destroy the American economy for good. In America there is simply too much choice for this Marxist attack to succeed.

Prior to Covid-19 companies like McDonald’s, Nike, Wal-Mart, etc, worked hard through advertising to build their brand to gain market share. They wanted you as a consumer to spend your money with them. However, as Disney World is learning, walking that fine line between government compliance and a product that appeals to individual freedoms doesn’t work well under a Marxist insurrection. They opened their parks this past week and even with the reservation system people are not flocking to attend their vacation destinations because honestly, its just too much a pain in the ass. Too many rules to follow, so people just aren’t going to spend $100 per ticket to attend. And that is what the NFL is going to learn, and the NBA. And soon, Wal-Mart and Target are going to learn it too. If going to their brick and mortar stores is just too much of a pain in the ass, people will order online or find some other workaround.

Even in modern day China where they have an openly communist regime that controls everything—but the black market, people still find ways to get what they want whether or not the government endorses it. People always desire to be free, and in places like the United States, people might be afraid, but if given the ability to vote for their own self-interest, they will. The silent majority are out there and they are silent for a reason. Corporations in their eagerness to comply with over intrusive government regulations have forgotten about them and miscalculated that the new normal will not last. Eventually corporations will have to compete for market share once again. They will not be able to ban the Confederate Flag at NASCAR events because it’s the only sport on television, or the NBA isn’t going to get away with Social Justice communism because their ratings have led them to believe people will put up with it. People for months now have found other things to entertain themselves with, they are spending money on those things, but in a free market, McDonald’s isn’t promised that money. They could fail by following the wrong market trends.

I’m one of those silent majority people. Sure, I write a lot in defense of President Trump, but I don’t walk around with hats and t-shirts showing how I’m going to vote. I work with a lot of people all over Cincinnati every day who come from very diverse backgrounds. If asked, I defend my positions, but I don’t sell my positions to everyone I meet. I’m a staunch concealed carry holder and I don’t go out and look to pick fights with people. I don’t want to kill anybody. I’d like to see people live through the day and have a good chance at life no matter what they believe. I don’t go to protests. I seldom attend public rallies unless I have a VIP pass and can get some distance from the crowd a bit. I go out of my way in life to avoid conflict if I can, which I share with most of the silent majority. But that doesn’t mean that I’m going to let some ANTIFA loser hit me in the head with a brick. And even if they could, if the Marxists did take over, how would they enforce their policies. I’m not going to back down from them. If I can’t live my life, then people like me would become their worst nightmare. They clearly haven’t thought this whole thing through. They don’t know or realize what they have done to themselves because they have simply followed the plan of Marxism around the world and have been trying to apply it to a culture that has lots of options for freedom.

Tolerance for radicals exists to the point where freedoms still exist. But the moment freedom is threatened, well that’s where people do start going to protests and people start getting killed. Freedom loving people who will allow themselves to be pushed to a limit still believe that an election can set the ship right again. But the moment that isn’t an option, the level of violence that would occur would be very scary to those advocating for Marxism. There simply aren’t enough compliant people in America to allow the math to work, and that won’t change. Even with the new generation raised in Marxist public schools there is still a love of freedom that they have through capitalism that they will not want to give up. They want to go to Wal-Mart when they want. They don’t want to be told they have to wear a mask, buy a certain product, or limit their living options to government’s ability to monitor them. The government can’t even run the BMV, let alone run everyone’s life down to the last detail, even with computers. Even with all the scary stuff we are seeing, America is different because of our society of choices, and the Marxists do not have a strategy to overcome that—and corporations are slaves to it, whether they like it or not. They need us, we don’t need them.

Teachers Don’t Want to Go Back to School: They’ll use Covid-19 as an excuse forever if we let them

I’d be lying if I said I hate to say it, because I do love saying it. I’ve been saying it for a long time, and I said it most recently when the Covid-19 plandemic broke, the teachers were never going to want to go back to school. Now of course we all know good teachers here and there who are the exceptions to the rule, but that rule is, parents put up with the government schools and their socialist training because it gives them free babysitting while they live their clueless lives as young parents following their peers over a cliff to their doom, economically, and spiritually while the teacher unions that control the government schools are essentially a lazy group of workers who at best want to train tomorrow’s Marxists to overthrow America. They don’t care about the children and they sure as hell don’t care about you dear reader. All they really want to do is sit on the couch and eat a doughnut. If they could use Covid-19 as an excuse not to work, you can bet that they will, and have. They won’t go back to the classroom until someone literally picks them up with a tow truck and drops them off with force back into the classroom. Apparently, a lot of people are surprised by this. I am not one of them.

It should go without saying that I support the Trump Administration plan to reopen schools this fall, or those schools should lose their federal funding. Why would any of us taxpayers be on the hook paying for things that aren’t happening. If teachers are too scared to come to work over Covid, then the school can either find new employees, or they can surrender their funding and stay closed. But the proposal that funding does anything for government schools is preposterous. Even if schools are open, they are terrible wastes of time on a child’s mind since we all know by now that the product of the education is socialism and communism. You can see that by all the Black Lives Matter protestors and ANTIFA crybabies, those insurgents are the products of public education. Most of us had to go through that terrible enterprise and we are reluctant to call it a waste of time. But for what we pay, we could get so much more and we should demand better. Because honestly, the goal of public education as it was designed by Dewey was to train young minds toward Marxist causes, what they named in America—progressivism.

Teachers who belong to these teacher unions do not want to work; their goal is to do as little as possible for the maximum amount of money they can extract from the taxpayers. The way that schools are funded are even part of the vile process as they are designed by legislatures also caught in the Marxist trap, to rob from property owners, to attack literally private property, and diminish its value as an objective of American life. Our money is literally robbed from us by government and given to these Marxist groups who then contribute to liberal politics and intend to instruct our next generations in the way of progressive thought turning them against their parents and all we get out of the deal is free babysitting. It is a vile enterprise that was terrible before Covid-19. Now that its time to go back to school for the fall, and teachers have had literally most of the 2020 year off school, yet still getting paid, they don’t want to go back and they’ll use every excuse they can find to stay home. And government, their employer has given them one in Covid-19. And if that one ever goes away as a media driven circus, it will be the next one, and the next one, and the next one. Teachers never plan to go back to normal, yet they still want more funding.

I’m happy that people are finally seeing what I have been saying for so many years. Most people were willing to put up with this terrible imposition on American life because of the free babysitting service, because of the occasional local kid that made it big and went into major league sports and the feeling of community that often gravitated toward school activities. The gross Marxism wasn’t something that people talked about; it was running in the background, but people didn’t want to think about it. It was like that uncle that has an alcohol problem. Or that child molester family member that everyone wants to avoid discussing but still comes to Thanksgiving Dinner pretending like nothing ever happened, so long as people got the basics out of public education, tax payers were willing to look the other way. But the government has screwed up even that, they have now ruined professional sports. It is doubtful that even that will ever come back to normal. And if the teachers aren’t at least giving that free babysitting service, what motivation is there for anybody to want to fund this mess? There isn’t any. And that is what the short-sighted losers in the teacher’s unions have not thought through. If they aren’t there to at least pretend they’re doing a job people want, then they provide no justification for their existence. It puts the cheese on the cracker for a lot of people in seeing what public education has always been about.

It’s a good time to draw a line in the sand, and the Trump Administration gets it. People want the schools open so they can drop their kids off and get back to work themselves. People just aren’t willing to pay for a service that isn’t there for them, and the teachers aren’t there and have no intention of coming back. Many unions are even talking about going on strike if they must return to work over health concerns about a dangerous workplace, because of the made-up crises of Covid-19. Government has severely screwed up on this matter leaving losers like these teachers with a loophole to worm out of work that was completely unintentional. Yet there it is. And it is forcing a showdown that has needed to happen for decades. Its time to put the money to the kids not the district and force local districts to manage their employees with competition instead of extorting money from property owners and giving it to Marxist organizations like teacher unions to hold kids hostage to their radical intentions, and to force us to pay for it. Its about time that we have this discussion and I would say that the over-reaction to Covid-19 has brought forth another great discussion point that the government never meant to illustrate. The bottom line is that if schools don’t open, they should not get any federal money. Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday had a cow over that proposal, but it’s becoming more mainstream by the day. The old control that the teacher unions working in conjunction with big government has crushed its own argument, and people are not happy with it. And ultimately, all this is for the people anyway, or at least it was supposed to be. Everyone is learning too late that the customer experience is all that ever mattered. Not that fat ass teachers who refuse to work yet want to be paid fortunes to teach our kids Marxism at our expense.

Moving On: Government screwed up, but people are finding ways to sidestep them for their own happiness

To say I have been pissed off about the government’s reaction to Covid-19 is an understatement. I’m not a supporter of government bureaucracy anyway, so what I have witnessed so far this year of 2020 has been absolutely reprehensible. Government is slow and terrible in regards to the BMV, and public schools, why in the hell should we listen to them about sicknesses? The free market should be free to deal with that, government should keep their noses out of it as far as I’m concerned. But we have a republic in America and most people aren’t so smart so they elected liberal losers with broken minds to represent them and that’s what we have seen with the Covid-19 reaction around the world. The way I live my life, I hardly personally notice, it hasn’t changed my daily routine too much, only when I have to deal with something that government touches, but it became personal when the health department of Darke County put pressure on the Annie Oakley Days committee to cancel this year’s event out of concerns over the stupid little virus. I’ll give them credit, they held out until a few weeks ago, but in late June, they finally threw in the towel. Government had ruined that too, which is something I look forward to every year. As to the science to why government always fails, I have covered that topic elsewhere, especially in regard to Robert Persig’s “Metaphysics of Quality,” which anybody can look up to learn more. But, government as it is established since the inception of humankind is designed to fail, every time it is considered, so the least of it that we have, the better off our society.

However, I have some positive predictions to share based on my observations on the matter, the resolve that is conducive to all free people in that long evolution we have from being cave dwellers to a species building tools to take us out into space for further migration. Before I go any further you have to understand that my view of Covid-19 is that it has simply been used as a political tool to alter the course of economic action that everything liberalism touches can impact. It is meant to take away from us happiness as voters of world affairs so that we will vote otherwise in the upcoming election. It is the ultimate voter tampering and its being done on such a large scale that most of us simply choose not to believe that government is that malicious and untrustworthy. Everyone has to come to that reality on their own, but it doesn’t change the nature of that reality. Government has its hands in most all of our commerce, so they have been able to manipulate our food, our entertainment, the way we interact with each other—our jobs—just about everything and it has been disgusting.

To deal with that problem I did what I usually do when there is a major crises in my life, I go and develop a new skill and learn something that I either didn’t have time for before or the problem wasn’t yet on my radar. In this case ammunition was running low and nobody could get any. I like to go shooting at the range when I’m working out problems and since government had scared the crap out of all of society with their devastating and massive overreach, they had inspired people to rush out to buy guns and ammo to prepare for the apocalypse that the news media was assuring us was coming over Covid-19. So to get ammo, I had to make my own, so I took the plunge into reloading which I had been thinking about for a long time, but finally decided to go out and invest in the equipment so that I could make my own ammunition by the thousands from now on. Government anyway has shown a tendency to try to control the buying and selling of guns, and taxing ammunition to punish gun owners the way that government is always trying to tamper with economies, so making the move to making my own ammunition in my garage has been a very rewarding experience.

And to be honest, as I’ve talked about before and will get into again in more detail due to the way the St. Louis couple, the McCloskey’s have been treated with their firearms at their residence, I highly encourage ghost gunning through Defense Distributed where you can by a milling machine and machine out your own AR uppers then buy the rest of the components to manufacture your own guns for private use, and to side step the whole government tracking nonsense. The government cannot be trusted to manage home or personal defense, especially when they are the idiots causing all the current race riots just so they can again, attempt to manipulate an election. Watching what the FBI and former DOJ officials did under White House guidance under the Obama group, I will never trust those government officials again. I want them to do a good job, I don’t want to do their jobs for them, I expect them to work for me as representatives, but I expect them to come up short and to try to hide their shortcomings with a manipulation of their power for their own preservation. So I will never trust them, and they are not qualified to determine whether or not anybody can have a gun, what kind, and to what extent. I started my new hobby of reloading so that a store or dealer wouldn’t let me down again with supplying ammunition when I want it. And I think we should all be thinking about building our own ghost guns with private machine shops that the government has no idea even exist, so that they won’t be able to take them from us later, as they fully intend to with the same crises vigor as they have overstepped their boundaries with Covid-19.

And that is what I see happening with Covid-19, people are doing that with everything, wherever liberalism touches corporate America they are finding alternatives. Government may destroy the current entertainment culture as we know it, they may force everyone underground with the mask wearing, they may have complete control over the mainstream media, but I see people everywhere sidestepping government and living their lives anyway. If they can’t go to a baseball game, they are just playing more video games. If they can’t go to the movies, they just watch Netflix. If they can’t go to the store, people are just buying off Amazon. Yes I feel sorry for all the brick and mortar stores that are going out of business. Government is just destroying its own tax collecting scheme with a short-sighted election tampering strategy. But life is going on, people are “finding a way.” They don’t need government and will find their happiness wherever government isn’t, and when government pushes them to the ends of the earth, a free people will fight back when they have no other choice. But they won’t become compliant like the people of China, or some other Eastern culture.

I have found reloading to be an enormously rewarding new hobby. It is saving a lot of money for one thing, but the self-reliance is wonderful. Yet I’m not the only one discovering it. Many people are and that is the side product of failure that government didn’t anticipate. Instead of a society that is more compliant and scared of every little thing, they have pushed people deeper into self-reliance. The corporations that have been taken away, like Disney, Nike, every government sponsored firework display, sports, people are finding replacements and they really don’t care. It is government ultimately that is cutting off their own heads in the process and will greatly find that they have ruined their own revenue system by this economic disruption. And that observation was never more obvious than in this year’s 4th of July celebrations where most government sponsored events were cancelled. Yet nobody really noticed because there were so many backyard shows that nobody could tell the difference. That same trait will flow over into everything and life will go on. Government will have to shrink because the money coming in for them will force it to.

The Goal of War is Capitulation: Every time we bend the knee, wear a mask, or yield to a political party, we are surrendering to the enemy

The one thing to understand about war is that the goal is capitulation, not death. Once you accept that, you will see clearly dear reader that we are well into a new civil war where the goals are no less obvious. The history of warfare however, because of gunpowder, thankfully, has made war less bloody and costly in human lives over time. Warfare migrating from the times of vast armies meeting on a battlefield to hash out some issue has changed as guns and their effectiveness have taken away the nobility of a good death in military combat and pushed insurgency into more gorilla warfare. This evolution became most obvious during the two World Wars in the last century and became most obvious during the Vietnam conflict. More and more with each new war technology has become the most preferred method of attack, with air power dominating those who don’t have it, or even today where drones kill vast squads of the enemy with the push of a button. War itself has become more and more passive aggressive as the technology of guns have become deadlier and more effective. War has never left us, but it has become more personal and less centralized like most things in our society and that’s where we find ourselves today, especially in America.

Viewed in that way it makes things much clearer to understand in relation to what the political left’s goals are and how the right has responded to them. Conservatives and their religious views in general have been paralyzed by the attacks made upon them largely due to their educations that have not prepared their minds to see war in the way that it is presented in the modern age. Even our media culture still presents notions of war as physical attacks with guns to force the enemy to surrender or be killed in the process. Yet the new way of war proposed by extremists, and leftists emerging out of the Vietnam era learned that the real fight was mostly psychological not physical, and that when they did enter any battlefield, they had already won largely because they had planted the seeds of capitulation in the minds of their enemy before even stepping foot on a battlefield. These days, we see in the cancel culture this notion that capitulation is expected just with an accusation and fights don’t even happen because we have all been taught that peace and love are the primary objectives of civilized life, and in that way, the attackers have defined the rules of engagement which will eventually lead to capitulation anyway. We are seeing that strategy in full effect with Black Lives Matter, Antifa and all other anti-Trump political groups. That much was obvious when we saw the mayor of New York City painting a sign on 5th Avenue in front of Trump Tower dedicated to Black Lives Matter. The objective couldn’t be clearer, a Marxist group planting a flag on the home turf of a symbol of American capitalism and claiming it as a kind of military victory.

I’ve been thinking about a conversation I had with Scott Sloan years ago at 700 WLW, likely because I have been listening to the legal arguments talked about on that station regarding Covid-19 a lot lately and it has caused me to reflect on some of my own personal experiences. He was trying to tell me as a smart guy that my anger at the other side during school levy fights was undermining my good arguments for my position, and that I shouldn’t take the bait. My response to him was that he was thinking too conventionally about the problem, the other side wanted to destroy reputations, boycott businesses and do whatever they had to do to win, and that we had to match them with the same aggression, or worse. Otherwise we were surrendering the battlefield to the enemy. He had a hard time admitting that the other side was the enemy. He thought, and largely still does, that we can all talk this out and everything will be alright. He didn’t see the war that was happening because he thought that all sides in the matter could still talk it out and find agreement. Yet I saw clearly that the other side was only thinking of capitulation. If “we” didn’t bend the knee to them, then they would destroy us in every way they could without weapons of course, but through passive aggressive control over aspects of our culture that would rob us of happiness. That was of course in 2012 and I often refer to that period as a defining moment for me because it confirmed much of what I had always suspected about our culture in general. And of course, I turned out to be correct in every way, and now we are seeing it play out in large scale warfare.

This mode of warfare has been chosen by the political left because they saw how effective it has been against a superior force with better technology during the Vietnam conflict and most recently in Afghanistan which has been in perpetual war with weapons since the 1970s, first with the Soviet Union and now with the United States. When a superior force is trying to play the chess game of a battlefield with old ideas about capitulation and the enemy is hiding, dodging and harassing by playing by a different set of rules, it is then easy to see why they have been winning and the superior force loses. This also answers the question as to why we are losing these modern battles, because conservatives refuse to admit to themselves that there is even a war. But the other side is willing to admit to it, and they are willing to do whatever they have to do to win. They intend to force their enemy to bend the knee using the Chinese ‘Art of War’ to win without even fighting as it is described in that great book, and they have been very effective.

Think about what we are doing today, we are bending the knee to Black Lives Matter over guilt. It’s the same fear that fear of death would have caused the same result in years past. The fear of a life of guilt is the new mode of forcing capitulation and we see such a surrender as almost a fashion statement today. Additionally, it is quite clear that our governments are in conflict, they don’t want our choice in president and have been working to remove him and any supporters from office. Meanwhile they have been using the Covid-19 virus as an excuse to train their subjects to wear masks in public as a form of capitulation. Once people accept that modern science and innovation cannot make people safe from the virus and that they must wear a mask to prevent the spread of it, then the governments have forced a surrender of that population that once started, will continue to tame the wild minds of freedom to the doomed presence of government wrath. They don’t need to kill you as might have happened in years past, they want to own your labor for their own needs, so they want to keep you alive now. All they really want from you is to bend the knee, which so many people are willing to do because they don’t understand why they are being asked to do it. They surrender because they don’t know that we are really at war and think that by capitulation they will save lives instead of harming them. Which of course is wrong.

The Step By Step Process of Impeaching Mike DeWine: If action is not taken, we will lose the rule of law forever

Yes, its time to stop fooling around, the case to impeach Mike DeWine is well into maturity and if congress doesn’t act, it will lose forever any respect that the executive branch of Ohio government will ever have for it again. It’s been a long time since Ohio has had any impeachments of any office holders. In fact, there are only eight cases, and one conviction of those all who were judges. That doesn’t mean there shouldn’t have been more, but over the course of many years, the trend for more and more politicians to push constitutional limits has of course brought us to the present problem of what to do with Mike DeWine, who has certainly abused his power as governor forcing the state legislature in the form of the House of Representatives to take on the case and correct the behavior. Unfortunately, we all know more about the impeachment process this year than last as we watched the federal House of Representatives abuse their majority and use impeachment to attempt to derail President Trump. We learned and its true, the action of impeachment starts in the House of Representatives in any American body, and they can impeach for anything, including eating a ham sandwich. It is up to the Senate in both the at the state level or the federal to have a trail and prove or disprove the articles of impeachment that the House comes up with. After speaking with many people on the matter I understand there is quite an underground movement in the Ohio Statehouse that are occurring in the whispers in just about every corner, so let’s make it easy for everyone. If you want to know how to start the process against DeWine, here are the PDF instructions on how to do it. Just click the links and you can see the source documents to get things started. Its as easy as that.

R2563-117 (1)R-133-3926 (1)

As to the why, well, I have made several cases why it’s necessary on these pages. There are a growing number of court cases that are adding to the relevance. I have included also on this document several radio broadcasts from Bill Cunningham on 700 WLW who has had on several prominent Republican leaders to talk about everything that has been wrong with the Governor’s reaction to Covid-19. I know many people are toiling over having to take action against Governor DeWine, because they have been friends with him, they know him and have for many years, many of them love his wife and think of her as a kind of extended mother. But when good people do bad things, they deserve what comes to them whether or not people like their character. If a good person accidently shoots someone, or runs them down in the street with a car, those good people are still subject to criminal enterprise. They may get a reduced sentence in jail because of their good character, but if we don’t honor justice blindly, then we lose it for everyone, which is largely what we see happening now in our streets during this election year. Not taking action against DeWine because people like him, which most of the critics say as a way to take away the edge of criticism, will not restore the respect of our system of government that has been lost by the Governor’s own decisive actions to listen to a faulty radical in Amy Acton and giving her dictatorial powers as a Health Director covered by the office of an elected governor who sold himself as one way, then decided to behave contrary to those expectations. That in itself isn’t the problem, the problem is that DeWine abused his powers for an extended period of time and has brought great harm to our economy and future outlooks for business investment under a false premise espoused by Amy Acton to follow a destructive political climate that has been harmful and very personal to every Ohio citizen, regardless of party affiliation.

I understand how Republicans and even Democrats feel about taking such action against a sitting governor. Nobody, well at least not many people, likes to throw rocks in a glass house. Most people are guilty of something, so they don’t feel morally compelled to pass judgment on a friend and colleague. And DeWine knows that, which is why he has acted with no respect for the legislative exchange that is supposed to protect us all from a dictator drunk on power as an executive. People fight hard together to fund raise, to win elections, and they form lasting friendships in those bonding experiences that make it hard to impeach someone when wrongdoing is noticed. That’s why its been so long since anybody has been impeached in Ohio. To say the least, modern politicians and other high rollers have less conviction than the type of people who wrote our state and federal constitutions, which of course is another reason why we see anarchists and anti-American forces raging on the news every night attacking everything even remotely considered American. Its not enough to say that we should impeach Mike DeWine just because he abused his power over Covid-19, but we must restore respect to the process of government, regardless of political affiliation. Failure to take action in this very obvious case will only further erode trust in government which obviously has been eroding away for nearly 200 years year by year.

Yet the case is obvious, when you listen to these radio broadcasts, and read the attached documents, one which covers three of the impeachment cases from 1805 to 1809, that of Judge William Irvin, then of Judge Calvin Pease and George Tod. Reading of those cases it is obvious that we have lost several steps in our Ohio legislature and it really doesn’t matter that we behave ourselves during an election year while we try to unite the party behind President Trump so that he can win Ohio. Right is right, and its hard to do. But if we don’t do it, we will lose our government forever, and there will be no future. DeWine is counting on the political machine and his friendships to give him cover-fire for deep, constitutional violations of abusing his power for a sustained period of time that has caused vast health problems and economic doom. Even if he had good intentions, he is still guilty of the ramifications which were made worse because he did not share counsel with the legislative branches to help him make the correct decisions. He simply hid Amy Acton from those angry at her, for ruining their lives over Covid-19 and continued to ignore the legislature looking to solve the problems in Ohio not with more government orders made in the dark of night without intelligent debate, but with actual laws. What DeWine has done at a minimum of analysis was not to violate some criminal statute, but rather, which is consistent with most attempts at impeachments in the past, he violated the public trust. We aren’t looking to throw Mike DeWine in jail. But he does need to be removed from office so that future office holders do not attempt to do as he did in 2020 with Covid-19. Its not a matter of “should” but is certainly a matter of “must.” The evidence is in abundance right here, the work has been made easy for you.

Mike DeWine’s “Dereliction of Duty”: Ohio’s Version of Colonel Kurtz that must be dealt with

I think the term “dereliction of duty” was legally watered down during the Clinton Administration years to the point where it lost its meaning. Yet, it does mean that a service member has willfully refused to perform their duties (or follow a given order) or has incapacitated themselves in such a way that they cannot perform their duties essentially vacating their post contrary to regulations, and under those definitions we certainly find that Governor Mike DeWine of Ohio has done all that to the point where impeachment is the only correct way out. Without a correction of the downward spiral of trust that people have of public office we are likely to lose it forever. So avoiding the subject because of the politization of the term in high profile cases such as President Clinton, then the revenge that Democrats tried to apply it to current President Trump isn’t going to solve the problem. Governor DeWine for a while now has shown severe “dereliction of duty” and action must be taken by the legislature to get Ohio back under control again. While DeWine’s actions over the Covid-19 virus perception has been incredible, any failure to reel him back into reality will harm terribly the future of all law and order in the state of Ohio.

This isn’t a new problem and I have been thinking about DeWine for a long time. Like many Republicans, I could tell stories about what a good guy he has been. I don’t know him well enough to call him a friend, but I understand why many Republicans consider him as such. I also get that this is an election year and that Republicans want to unite the party behind President Trump, to get him re-elected and to deliver Ohio to the Trump camp with electoral votes. However, I also understand that DeWine has not been behaving as a Republican and has gone rogue in the executive branch acting more like a dictator and activist than a part of the checks and balances of government and he needs to be stopped. And from the top of the law to the beat on the street, everyone has been scratching their heads on how to solve this very real problem that has culminated into the mask mandates that are now part of the embarrassing administration reaction to Covid-19.

My thoughts on DeWine were that something had happened to his logical mind as a result of his relationship with Amy Acton, his Health Director. It wouldn’t be the first time where an employer had feelings for someone working for them, whether the reaction were sexual in nature, or just purely psychological, it was obvious that DeWine had some ill advised relationship with Amy Acton that was actually ruining people’s lives due to the Governor’s bad decisions which spawned from that relationship. But within the inner sanctums of Ohio government from many sources, sources that were very upset that the Governor had bypassed them in the legislature to push them out of any management of the Covid-19 crises I was being told that the situation was far worse and the sanity of Governor DeWine was in serious question. It was being proposed that the crises of Covid-19 invented by the media or not had crushed DeWine intellectually and he was retreating to his Christian background to make policy decisions. The specific problem with DeWine was that he kept insisting that his number one priority constitutionally as governor in Ohio was to protect those who couldn’t protect themselves, to protect those most vulnerable. While that sounds good and might be a good polling question that is asked without the context of what it means, the term could mean anything as determined by the governor’s own judgment. That is why we have a legislature, to help a mind like the governor’s stay on course through a crisis. But he has ostracized everyone and has painted himself into a corner, which has then led Ohio into a major economic crisis which he has caused all by himself.

To answer my question about Governor DeWine I was invited by several VIPs to listen to the governor up close and behind the scenes. Like I said, I don’t like to kiss and tell, but what I discovered about DeWine under pressure shortly after it was revealed that Amy Acton had stepped down from her role as his Health Director was a rudderless politician that sounded an awful lot like Colonel Kurtz from the movie ‘Apocalypse Now.’ DeWine essentially attacked anybody who questioned his motives leaving the people in the room with him stuck between wanting to beat the shit out of him, and wanting to honor his position in that high office. People who needed to clamp down on DeWine were frozen as to what to do, they were lost. Nothing in their lives had prepared them for the insanity of the moment and it was clear that the old prosecutor in DeWine was using his reputation to ward off any correction of his current behavior. And when pressed, he kept coming back around to his primary job as governor was to help those who couldn’t help themselves, which again was a completely ambiguous job description. Anybody could claim to be helpless under such ill-defined parameters and essentially as long as the Covid-19 virus had no cure, then DeWine could claim forever that he needed emergency powers to fight it—alone. He had no intention of letting the legislature help him with the problem, which is how we arrive at the “dereliction of duty” problem and why now after so many billions of dollars lost from the Ohio economy, we must take action to remove Governor DeWine from office.

DeWine, because he didn’t let anybody help him, which was a choice, is responsible for all the lawsuits that are being imposed on government because of his bad decisions and the leadership that Amy Acton took Ohio under her care. The DeWine administration essentially followed the global models for Covid-19 and reacted to bad data that destroyed many jobs and lives in the process, and now it is known in hindsight that those statistics were wrong. The trouble is, now that the severity of the virus is known DeWine is still insisting on the same measures of reacting to it that he did before, which is clearly an attempt by him to hold on to his emergency powers. And because of that, we are now suffering through continued economic depravity, the mandate in many Ohio counties to wear masks in mid-summer heat, which is again discouraging to economic recovery and the personal comfort of Ohioans all of which will impact the long term growth of Ohio as a destination for business transactions. And to justify all that failure of judgment, DeWine continues to point out that people are in danger of their very lives when clearly that is not true. There is nothing to indicate that Covid-19 is dangerous or is even presently considered a “pandemic.” The officials who have claimed Covid-19 to be a “pandemic” particularly in the World Health Organization have been discredited as the Trump administration has moved away from those relationships for obvious reasons. Members of America’s CDC are still doing damage control from their failures as health professionals to properly deal with the severity of Covid-19, greatly overblowing the statistical analysis to justify their own existence, so there is nothing for Governor DeWine to justify his actions, except that he has simply lost his mind, and in the process, cut out all those who could have helped him find it again. And that is why he has been “derelict in his duty” to his very office, and why for the preservation of that office in the future, he must be removed. His polling is not as high as he thinks it is, or to the level the media is reporting. But regardless of that, law and order must prevail, and his actions have irreparably damaged that relationship to the point where only removal will bring trust to the system of Ohio government once again.

Government Can’t Make You Wear A Mask: Seeking to cover up a massive crime including many murders

I’ve explained the nonsense about wearing a mask in public many times during the Covid-19 “plandemic” but something people need to understand is that you do have a right and obligation to fight back at government if they issue you a ticket or a citation for not wearing one as many mayors and governors have begun to mandate, especially in places like downtown Cincinnati. Now for the life of me, I can’t imagine why anybody would want to go to downtown Cincinnati with all the Black Lives Matter protests, many of the nicer restaurant shut down, no sports going on, the museums micromanaged to the point where social distancing mandates ruin the experience. But some likely have to interact with government services and to do that the mask mandate is something they will have to be concerned about and for those occurrences it is important to remember that the government has no right whatsoever to demand that people wear those stupid masks. Government doesn’t own public space; they don’t dictate what goes on outside. They can give a recommendation, and that’s it. Any government that says they can fine you or punish you for not complying with their mask mandates is lying to you and they deserve to be punished.

The mask mandate for employees is a bit of a different story, unfortunately state government has its fingers in commerce to an unreasonable level and they can mandate the wearing of a mask if you want to make money in the normal way. Government unreasonably controls the means of production in every state jurisdiction so challenging the mask mandates is a bit trickier. But legally, it is quite clear, government cannot compel people to wear masks in public under any conditions on fake emergency powers and a façade of concern over people’s safety. There is one reason and only one reason that government wants to mandate the wearing a masks in public and that is to cover up their criminal behavior in what they did to our lives and our economy in their neurotic reaction to Covid-19.

By forcing you to wear a mask, government is forcing you to accept that Covid-19 is dangerous, and so long as people believe that, government can justify all the trillions of dollars of damage they have caused by letting a stupid virus get out of control in the public. Wearing a mask in public is an admission that lets the government off in the many thousands of court cases where they will be sued from now until eternity for the many constitutional violations they have imposed on free people and so long as people are wearing masks in public, it is a cover story for the actions of government.

The threat of a fine, or to suffer some punishment from government for not giving them a cover story for how they mismanaged Covid-19 is not only insane, but it is against all laws in every conceivable way. If government went out and committed murder, which in many ways they have, the murderer cannot go out and put guns of a similar caliber in the hands of the public to make it hard to prove who killed who. That is what the mandate for masks is a way to throw off any blame that might come down on government for mismanaging the coronavirus crises. We can talk about well-intentioned emergency powers trying to protect the public from a safety crises, the interpretation of what elected officials should do under ill-defined health concerns—but when government causes the death of people through micromanaging them, and it ruins the lives of millions of people, then someone has to pay. And they don’t get to hide behind perpetual emergency powers to keep people on their heels and out of the lawyer’s office with more lawsuits. The whole point of the masks is not to protect other people from you, or to mitigate any kind of impact from Covid-19, it is to cover up a crime.

The slowing the spread strategy that government has enacted toward the coronavirus started off as a well-intentioned exercise. It was kind of like a child using a gun and shooting someone who steps into their house late at night while the kid is terrified of whomever is trying to get through their front door. Once inside and after shots are fired the kid realizes that they had just shot and killed their drunk father who had lost his keys at the house of a mistress and was impatient to get inside so he could crash into his bed and sleep off his drunkenness. Everyone was guilty of something in that case but they all could explain their actions away with some “good intention.” Yet murder was the result. That is much the way government had screwed the pooch on Covid-19. For all the malicious intentions that Covid-19 entered our lives, government was like the kid who just shot at it not knowing all the details, and what we ended up with was a dead economy, a political situation that favored the Democrats desperate for some way to win something in the upcoming fall elections. And once they realized their crime, they sought to cover it up with more safety mandates that would keep people from discovering just how stupid they reacted over the coronavirus from the beginning.

Sure, hindsight is 20/20 and there are lots of government officials who regret their panic and would likely do it over again differently. But that doesn’t change the fact that the media drove the story for political reasons and many of them were caught as suckers. Yet it doesn’t mean they get to fine us and punish us for not following their cover story—that the virus was dangerous and what they are doing in reaction to it was for the good of the public. No, what they did was only good for them and they are seeking to make the public play along with their defense. After all, who would bring forth a lawsuit against government while there are mask mandates for the population in general? It sort of drives home to any judge that the government at least believes that what it is doing has the best interest for the public in mind. If that were to come into question, then what judge could say otherwise about any of their judgments?

The wearing of the masks creates something of a legal paradox that keeps the government off the hook for a while, and that’s all its about. But know this, they can’t make you wear the damn things. Government can’t even keep the streets safe from anarchists and race baiters, and they think they have a right to issue you a ticket for not wearing a mask? Please………….that is as grotesque an abuse of the law as there is in our legal system. And for what, to cover up their much bigger crimes of tampering with our economy, destroying our jobs, and ruining lives in just about every way that they could—because essentially they were the dumb, ignorant kid who used a gun they knew nothing about to shoot their drunk dad who was out in the night with ill intentions and malice, yet found themselves shot dead trying to get back into the house by their panicky child. Government hopes that by wearing the mask, people won’t see what idiots they were. But day by day, the more rules they come up with, the more they confirm it.

Proctor and Gamble Overstepped its Marketplace Footprint: When corporations become advocates for mask wearing and communism in general

It must have at least been a half a dozen times this past week where people asked me why? Why take such conservative positions when corporate socialism and the tide of the country is headed in the other direction? To the people asking the question they were thinking about it all wrong of course, and their question wasn’t malicious. Ironically, the second thing that they were asking me was what my new book was all about, and because of the amount that I can write and think about, what was taking so long? Well, it just so happens that the answer to the first question was one born out of the second. In my new book, The Gunfighter’s Guide to Business, which I have been heavily editing over these last few weeks with dedication, there is a defense of the western civilization way of doing things—which transcends over into business of course, but politics, philosophy, warfare, art, just about everything and its no small matter to frame into a point of reference. I would never be happy to just write another self-help book for the marketplace, if I’m going to do something, I expect it to have some earth shattering effect on someone reading it for the first time and nothing less. But it has taken some time to whittle that wood into the fine carving that it is. And while its not common by health of a corporate view of the world to take positions on social matters, what it essentially comes down to is that if you don’t have a stable country to function in, then what is the point in trying to run a business of any kind? Look at what politicians have done to the business world over Covid-19. If left to their own devices, politics will ruin all our lives, so to function in the business world, we must have a stable government that we can depend on—which has always been my first concern on social matters and why I do what I do.

The first chapter of my new book is about East meeting Western philosophy on the frontiers of the Wild West for essentially the first time in history and we all know the result, the East lost. Yet we have allowed the East to think it is superior to Western thinking because governments around the world find that people functioning as such are easier to control. Western thinking requires boldness, and it gives birth to a level of creativity that is simply amazing and produces in society so many wonderful things. But the more that Eastern collectivism has taken over in the business world the worse our culture in the West has been. You can most see the effect in entertainment industries such as motion picture development and music. But now we can see the impact in sports, and even food development and it was never so obvious the audacity of corporate socialism which is meant to appease the more aggressive desire to micromanage every aspect of a culture with Chinese communism than P&G in Cincinnati who took a position on aligning social practices to the desires of government with their mask wearing announcement over the 4th of July. I wasn’t surprised by it, but it was a stunning admission to their intent and desire to appease the mobs of government with obvious aggrandizement.

The only way it works, this control that governments and their chosen corporate outlets can mandate such restriction on the population at large is to eliminate competition. P&G obviously thinks that people need their products so much that people will overlook their political positions, which is clearly what they have done by insisting that people wear masks in public as a reaction to Covid-19. You could say the same about Nike, or the NFL over the heavy political push by sponsors to change the name of the Washington Redskins to something more politically desirable. It doesn’t matter what the fans want, what the market driven economy wants, it’s what government wants and that is how bullies in government get what they want out of people in general and control the freedom of any marketplace weakening the effects of capitalism for all the strategic reasons that a person could think of. And now that the push for outright communism is out of the bag, corporate leaders raised in an education system around the world teaching essentially Eastern Philosophy are behaving as they have been taught, which I would argue was wrong from their very foundations. But its why they are so quick to fall in line with government mandates rather than challenging them in court or on the grounds of harming capitalist creativity.

The nature of all markets, especially under the flags of freedom is that competition will make them better and provide the best goods and services to those who want them. But because of the alliance of government and corporations everyone has forgotten that freedom determines the eventual reality unless governments can take away those options for complete control of a market, which does not exist. For instance, to answer P&G’s assumption about wearing a mask if the public wants to return to sports and other mass gathering events, I will say that people will drop sports all together and move on to something more fun if corporations have taken away the fun of doing such things. I can think of two examples just from last week. Nintendo Switch, which I have talked about often is so good in what it does, and continues to sell out all over the world because of the high demand it provides its customers that during all this Covid-19 shutdown nonsense that people have already found an alternative to sports. People are playing video games online with each other more and are replacing traditional social gatherings at a faster rate than anybody is ready to admit. The market money simply went somewhere else, and that is what all these sports teams are going to learn, unfortunately too late. The second thing I noticed was that Kings Island tried to open under the new government guidelines and it was just a pain in the ass for the consumer. Some people did go brave the long lines and mask wearing, but that will not be the norm. If that industry becomes so restrictive, then people will simply find something else to do. They won’t comply as the board members of these various corporations are hoping as they bootlick with politicians to find a happy middle ground everyone can relate to. The consumer isn’t going to put up with such restrictions, and they’ll take their money elsewhere. That is how it works in the real world.

I remember the damage that the baseball strike had on the game in 1994, and I would argue that it never really recovered. The NFL with all this kneeling stuff, and name changing, and the social justice garbage will learn that fans are not going to invest in something that makes them feel bad. The NBA is also going to go through the same process. And when people lose interest in sports they won’t buy the Nike shoes and Under Armor shirts at the store. They will buy something, but if they can’t feel good about the purchase, they’ll move their money elsewhere and that is in essence what my book is about, and why I do get involved in politics rather than adopting to every stupid rule that comes from government to limit what corporations can do in offering goods and services to the vast public. P&G does not have a monopoly on the marketplace even though they have been fooling themselves into thinking so. And they do not have the political leverage to do the bidding of government to wear masks and change the behavior of the marketplace. They have been an influencer, but not a driver. Free market decisions ultimately decide and understanding what free people really want is the key to making decisions about the future and that is the difference between Eastern philosophy and the optimistic gaze of the West toward potential and promise driven by imagination.
