Turning the Corner in the War: Why Ted Kopple was really mad

I spent a few days thinking about this topic before addressing it, because it really does mark a turning point in this war. I first realized the scope of the war when I was pitching screenplays to Hollywood from 1995 until 2005.  I learned a lot about the “business” over that ten-year period which of course carries directly over to the experiences Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity had on the Ted Kopple interview shown by a recent CBS Sunday show.  I was obviously a conservative writer and I didn’t think it would matter that I didn’t think the way the people in the business thought.  I thought they’d find my perspectives fresh and perhaps a throwback to the period where Hollywood had great success.  But what I learned pretty much reflects the subtle pain that I heard in Rush’s voice all during Monday March 27, 2017.  Sean Hannity too seemed wounded by the outright rejection of the great Ted Kopple.  Of course, they played it down, but I could hear it in their voices, and I understood.  Intellectually, they always knew they were different than Ted, but on a human level—they are peers and wanted to at least participate in the arena of debate even if the people on the other side were wackos.  They honestly liked Ted and at some deep level, wanted his approval.  Ted Kopple represented to them the media and as sick as we all know that media to be—they wanted to help it be better with debate.  What Ted Kopple did was ignite one last bomb hoping to stop the loss that Democrats are experiencing.  It was like an ugly divorce where a person you thought you loved at one point in your life yells at you—“I never enjoyed making love to you because you have bad breath.”  That is essentially what Ted Kopple did to Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh on Sunday March 26th 2017 on his little morning show.

I call it a war because it was obvious to me that’s what it has been. “They” didn’t care what the casualties were—they certainly didn’t care about my wife and kids.  Once I put myself out there in an artistic way, then took very strong positions against casual sex and drugs—representing the Midwest in California—they didn’t care who they destroyed in my life so long as I felt the pain of it.  I have never seen so much hatred and vitriol as was expressed at me in such a passive aggressive manner than in those years mentions above.  In essence I was told that I would never write a book, or a movie, or do anything in the media and that nobody would see or hear from me because they controlled all the avenues in the media and I would never get through.  I never tried to force feed anything to them, I was just being my Midwestern Cincinnati self.  I would remind them that Steven Spielberg and Tom Cruise came from Cincinnati for which they would say that “they” became one of us instead of expecting us to become them.  Well, there was some truth to that—I did intend to change their point of view through creative debate which is how I thought things were supposed to be.  Instead I learned that they weren’t open to those types of experiences.   Instead, they were on a mission to convert all of us into bleeding heart liberals or else, and that was the focus of their agenda and the cause of this “war in America.”

It was a very disheartening thing to learn that Hollywood was not the place I grew up loving, or even the place that made all the great westerns I watched as a kid with my grandparents. It was a propaganda machine mostly that was hell-bent on liberal advocacy.  It was even worse than Robert Altman’s The Player—it was even more corrosive than what was revealed in that very good movie about Hollywood life and how to make it there.  The business wasn’t about producing the best script, or even being the best director—it was more about who you knew and what they could do for you—it was mass collectivism on overdrive and that wasn’t for me.  Naturally I toyed around with self-producing but to do that you have to come up with a lot of money and its always very risky.  I’m at a point where I will likely produce a film with a budget of 5 to 10 million range with an aim at Netflix now that more options for distribution are available with less union rules.  But I decided way back in 2005 that I wasn’t going to play the conventional game and that I would go it alone in everything because technology and the market had caught up to the business in a way that decentralized it.

Ted Kopple specifically mentioned that in his piece on Rush Limbaugh citing the “fairness doctrine” from 1987. In his mind if only the “system” could have stayed in control his news on CBS would still be relevant and Donald Trump wouldn’t be president.  But because of Sean Hannity, because of Rush Limbaugh and thousands of people like me who have taken advantage of deregulation of information—the old way of progressivism can’t compete and their world is coming to an end.  As I was at a film festival in 2006 doing whip stunts for producers who might use those techniques in films, I was already thinking of how things had changed and the gate keepers were no longer needed.  If you had talent and ambition, the technology was certainly there to step around the old guards—like Ted Kopple—and do your own thing.  That is why the political left is praising Google and Facebook for censorship because they hope that they will become the new gatekeepers.  But if either company commits too far into that realm, some other company will rise up to compete with them—that’s the beauty of this age of deregulation.

I was told no by those gatekeepers so many times that I relished this age where I can write all I want—novels, articles—films, anything I’d like to and I have a means of distribution that doesn’t involve anybody really. I can say honestly, I saw it coming a long time ago.  It is much harder to get wealthy off the entertainment industry because with freedom comes abundance and these days so many people are involved that the costs have come down to the extent where the buckets of gold for a well written novel just aren’t there.  But if you are a writer who wants to write such a thing for the benefit of doing it—you can.  For a guy like me, there are literally millions of ways to make a million dollars.  I don’t need to rely on one way to get there.  I can afford to write millions of words on daily articles and publish books around the gatekeepers which does have an impact on culture in a positive way—and that is how I decided to do what I did.  Sean Hannity in his way did the same thing as did Rush Limbaugh and many others.  Some make a lot of money at it, some not so much—but they do it because they have passion for the subject and they no longer are regulated by a gatekeeper in doing it—and that’s what’s different.  That’s what obviously frustrated Ted Kopple.

In many ways Donald Trump is like the rest of us—he felt he could do the job of president better so he put himself out there starting around 2010 to start that journey. He’s not doing the job to get rich, he’s doing it out of personal passion for the job because many people like myself, Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity have softened up the marketplace to consider new ideas that the old guard held down in the news rooms of Ted Kopple’s world, the movie producers in Hollywood, and the publishers in New York controlled largely by Publisher’s Weekly and The New York Times.  They aren’t running the show anymore and haven’t been for a while.  The big difference is that now in 2017 with Donald Trump in the White House, they can’t hide it anymore.  Now mainstream people are seeing it for the first time and people like Ted Kopple—and virtually every Hollywood producer is angry about it—because all their efforts at keeping a lid on the competition of ideas has failed and their life long quest has proven irrelevant.

So yes, we’ve turned a corner. Even though the focus today is on Republicans botching the health care issue, the progressive left which has controlled everything for so long is losing more ground every day and their complete and utter destruction is imminent. We are only a few months into the Trump presidency and its obvious what’s happening.  Open borders are closing, money is flowing again, the Keystone Pipeline is about to fill with oil, NASA is getting back to work and deregulation is the spirit of the White House daily.  The Supreme Court is about to be satisfied and things are happening that Ted Kopple never imagined could—because he thought things were under control and the “system” was in charge.  So he did his hit piece on Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh and blamed the “fairness doctrine” for why things went wrong.  But the writing on the wall was there long ago and people like me started chipping away at the wall instead of conforming to it—and that is why today is so different from yesterday.  And why tomorrow will be unrecognizable for them.  And I love it!

Picking Winners and Losers: Why Donald Trump is different than the political class

With Donald Trump’s capitalist antics infusing great optimism and wealth into America’s economy—particularly with the recent Tweet in favor of L.L. Bean—there are great concerns that the new administration is picking winners and losers. And those concerns are ridiculous.  There is absolutely nothing wrong with a president feeling optimistic about companies and if an endorsement by Trump gives a company millions in further revenue, that is a good and healthy thing.  For way too long our economy has been restricted by a lack of enthusiasm from the political class and even being victimized by radical anti-capitalist Democrats looking for a shakedown from those who are successful.  When America was conceived, such stupidity was impossible to calculate, so our Constitution didn’t address the role that a president might play in the role of public relations on a national level.  So pandering politicians have made it a practice to sell access to the Executive Branch from lobbyists—where donors give money to a White House dinner so that they can gain the ability to shake hands with the president and get their picture taken with them—and if they gave enough money—they might even gain their ear.

Politics has been a dirty business from the very beginning because the trend from the days of finding money to pay for an army to stand against Britain in 1776 has been to pay for access to the higher levels of office to leverage success against failure. And the system has been ridiculous—and corrupt the entire time.  The whole thing climaxed with Barack Obama who was the final straw in political theater leading to a capitalist loving Donald Trump to take over politics and change it forever.

Everyone knew from the beginning that Donald Trump was an optimistic person by nature, and he loves making money. Americans who voted for him wanted a cheerleader for capitalism who would infuse his natural optimism into the United States economy.  And that’s what we’ve found in Trump before he was sworn in as President of the United States. He is an optimistic person who has brought Ford, Chrysler, Carrier and many others back in the American dialogue and he isn’t afraid of speaking of his opinion in their favor.  And the impact has carried the Dow Jones to the doorstep of 20,000 and the flow of money back into America in ways that wasn’t even conceivable before.

When I first started this blog site—about 7 years ago now—many smart people I knew thought it appropriate to tell me that the American economy had changed forever and that I needed to get on board with those changes. Their contention was that the American economy was to become a service economy as the manufacturing jobs were gone forever.  This surprised me because I assumed these people were smart—and I would contend that there was no way for America to survive as a service economy.  So we’d argue, and in some cases wouldn’t speak to each other any more in a friendly way—even to this very day.

Meanwhile, I stuck to my manufacturing roots because I always knew that it was in making things that was the backbone of the red white and blue strips on the American Flag, so I never accepted the preaching that has gone on for the last twenty to thirty years advocating a move in America from manufacturing to a service based economy. I raised my kids against what they learned in public school and during my long levy fights in southern Ohio I went against the grain of the progressive trends—that manufacturing was out in America and all the future jobs would be some variation of the “Geek Squad” at Best Buy.

Guess, what—I turned out to be 100% correct, and that is a tremendous advantage to me personally, so I’m more than a little enjoying all this fall-out of Trump’s presidency and the return of manufacturing to America as a part of the expectation of what an economy in the United States should look like. And the great healer to all the sickness we’ve been experiencing as a nation has not been more rules from the political class—or the selling of influence on Capitol Hill by politicians to donors, it’s been the sheer optimism of one man—Donald Trump who for the first time in American politics has not shied away from the concept of making money and offered himself a cheerleader for American capitalism.  And we’re just getting started.

I understand Donald Trump and often offer my own experiences to explain him. Like him, I tend to become very expressive about things I care about—which is why I write so much.  If I didn’t have a means of writing what I think—I would probably do something like he has just to get the energy out.  When I see a movie, I like—I tell the world to go see it.  The same with a restaurant, or some place on earth that impresses me.  I’m not ashamed to have a childlike optimism about things—and Trump shares that trait with me.  When he loves something—he lets everyone know it.  But such traits are not illegal, they are aspects of charisma and leadership.  A person who naturally gains the affections of others exhibit traits that are similar—and optimism is one of them.

Part of Trump’s projected success as a president is that as a natural leader—things will just work better from the Executive Branch. In the past—people with less leadership charisma garnered success in other ways—by selling access to the office and using that access as leverage to control others.  But with Trump—he has something others don’t have themselves—optimism which exhumes from him naturally without effort.  So when he likes something, like L.L. Bean, or Carrier air conditioners because they listened to him—he lets the world know it.  And that will naturally increase enthusiasm for the products of Trump’s liking because half the country likes the president and is likely to purchase products he endorses—just as an athlete might sell shoes or drinks.  Only what makes Trump different is that his enthusiasm isn’t purchased, its sincere and to the Washington D.C. culture, they really don’t like that trend because they can’t compete with it.

The anger of the mainstream at Trump and their proposal that he is picking winners and losers as president is rooted in their lack of ability to compete with Trump. They are people who whore themselves out in exchange for something—just like a common prostitute.  But Trump is doing what he does out of authenticity—his genuine enjoyment of the world around him and that is a big difference.  The office of president was never designed for someone like Donald Trump—it was made for lessor people easily seduced by the temptations of power.  It wasn’t made for people who had more personal wealth than most everyone in Washington D.C. put together who still had the natural optimism toward life that a 7-year-old child has.  And that natural optimism has a place in America because it alone can fix much that has been broken, both by stupidity, and by accident.

It’s not picking winners and losers to support what someone thinks is good—it would be dishonest and a disservice to capitalism to say otherwise. Especially when the advocate isn’t being paid and has no interest in ever being paid for his opinions.  What we have in Donald Trump is literally something we’ve never had in the history of the world, and it is good to see for those who don’t make it a habit to whore themselves out in exchange purely for money—which is what the entire established culture in Washington D.C.—has always been about.  So they don’t know what to do—and for all of us, that is a great position to be in.

Betsy DeVos: A person I am truely thankful for

So yes, I’m feeling pretty thankful, do you remember dear reader when I was at the center of this I-Team Report for Channel 9 seen below?  Auh, the memories.  I had spent a lot of political capital and personal reputation to challenge that premise of runaway costs in public education especially at the top, with the superintendents who were making more than the governors of most states.   I was taking them on as phony CEOs and the heat was on.  The Cincinnati media had a story they could get their teeth into.  Shannon Jones and Governor Kasich trying to ride the ground swell of opposition generated by these news stories signed Senate Bill 5 which provoked the powerful Ohio public sector unions to riot in the streets and the long hidden con game that is public education was exposed.  Yet there wasn’t really a solution, only the identification of the problem.  Of course the solution I supported seemed like a far-flung one, School Choice was presented only nobody at the level of The Department of Education would dare adopt such a controversial innovation in the field of public education.  Major changes at the very top were needed to brings costs down while increasing the results and the unions had all the politicians scared to even try leaving us all to fight it out on the ground without an end in sight.

I supported Donald Trump for president for many reasons, but the top of my list was the end game of public education innovation which I had been advocating for during many years, including that I-Team report which was quite alarming to regular people who otherwise didn’t know. When people wonder why I do a show from time to time with Matt Clark in Ann Arbor, Michigan they have to understand that I have been doing more than just looking for attention on the radio.  I can get attention and make money in many different ways—so my interest in doing radio and television has been for one primary reason, to inspire political addicts and those able to take the necessary action to position themselves for the needed changes.  In Cincinnati, we had things covered very well but we needed other regions also and Michigan was high on my list for tactical reasons.  Casual people fascinated with mainstream topics don’t normally listen to a program on WAAM radio, but those who run Republican Party activity in Michigan often do and one voice I hoped to reach directly or indirectly in that rust belt state was the Chairman of the Republican Party Betsy DeVos and wife to billionaire Dick DeVos—who were sympathetic to public education changes—such as School Choice.  I had heard that several years after that I-Team report into Ohio school superintendent pay that Betsy was warming up to School Choice as a public education option in 2013.  That stood the hairs up on the back of my neck—and she wasn’t the only one warming up to the idea—now if only we could somehow get those types of people into a position that mattered.  Obama certainly wasn’t open to the idea—so a major change would be needed at the top to free up the ground forces ready to implement innovation and competitive forces in public education because that was the only hope of an end game started by all of us public education reformers.

The day before Thanksgiving 2016 newly elected President Donald Trump announced that Betsy DeVos was going to be his pick for Secretary of Education and the teacher union of the NEA said this:

“Every day, educators use their voice to advocate for every student to reach his or her full potential. We believe that the chance for the success of a child should not depend on winning a charter lottery, being accepted by a private school, or living in the right ZIP code. We have, and will continue, to fight for all students to have a great public school in their community and the opportunity to succeed no matter their backgrounds or circumstances

“Betsy DeVos has consistently worked against these values, and her efforts over the years have done more to undermine public education than support students. She has lobbied for failed schemes, like vouchers — which take away funding and local control from our public schools — to fund private schools at taxpayers’ expense. These schemes do nothing to help our most-vulnerable students while they ignore or exacerbate glaring opportunity gaps. She has consistently pushed a corporate agenda to privatize, de-professionalize and impose cookie-cutter solutions to public education. By nominating Betsy DeVos, the Trump administration has demonstrated just how out of touch it is with what works best for students, parents, educators and communities.

“The National Education Association advocates for investing in smart strategies that we know help to improve the success of all our students, including creating more opportunities and equity for students, classes small enough for one-on-one attention, modern textbooks and a well-rounded curriculum for every student. We also know that the voices of educators — those who know the names of the students they educate — should always be present at the table when making decisions that impact student success. Educators will continue to focus on raising their voices in support of their students and against any effort by the Trump administration to undermine the educational opportunity of all public school students.”

Otherwise, what the NEA is saying is that they are scared to death and know that changes to their power structure are imminent and with Donald Trump giving unwavering support to someone like Betsy DeVos, who is fearless in her efforts, competition is coming to public education and they will be powerless to stop it.  Betsy DeVos was my dream pick for solving this public education nightmare short of completely shutting down the DOE.  The scam the unions had worked out with the superintendents of these public schools was that boards of education who were just citizen members elected by the community to manage school affairs hired professional educators to perform the executive action of school management.  The unions through manipulative tactics ensured that the flow of money to those superintendents was extraordinary and they fed the egos of those people in an attempt to make them believe they were “real managers” when in fact there were just figureheads protecting the union activity of the teachers.  The large wages that the superintendents were making were essentially payoffs by the system to preserve it from reform—which is why the NEA is upset because “they” control politics locally, which must stop if public education is ever going to be fixed.  Running for school board isn’t enough—otherwise I would have done it.  You must change the priorities of the entire institution decentralizing it and putting an emphasis on competition.  That is the only way to break the monopoly the teacher unions have on public schools using children as human shields to prevent action.

Betsy DeVos is the end game I have been wanting to see and thankfully Donald Trump made that decision early.  Being independently wealthy, the DeVos family is free from the temptations of corruption since they don’t need money from back room deals meaning Betsy is free to act 100% on her consciousness, which genuinely cares about this public education issue—and she is not the kind of person who will accept failure.  A lot of things had to happen to make this possible.  I can’t say that while we were doing any of the television and radio broadcasts identifying the vast evils shown in public education that real solutions were more than a pipe dream.  But always in the back of my mind was the hope that if enough people learned of this problem, that they’d be inspired to do something about t.  And Betsy DeVos is the perfect type of person to take on the challenges presented in public education. 

That makes this particular Thanksgiving perhaps the one I am enjoying most.  For maybe the first time in my adult life—I am truly thankful that there are solutions to the many things that have held my country imprisoned behind stupidity and a lack of conviction.  Betsy DeVos is the kind of pick for Secretary of Education that would alone seal the fate of a successful Donald Trump presidency, and for him its only one thing.  But for me, it’s the biggest thing.  Happy Thanksgiving!

The Destruction of Hillary Clinton: Ending the political class finally over a 24 year journey through Hell

Really, the summation of just about everything I’ve written about over the last six years on these pages is coming to fruition at the first debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump on September 26th 2016.  In so many ways Donald Trump is my dream candidate largely because most of my suggestions to America’s large problems have been to have more private sector leadership in government instead of trying to influence government with campaign contributions.  A false aristocracy has emerged over the last two hundred years because of the experiments with democracy and that society of benefactors has been poised for a long time for an overthrow by the governed.  Once people see with their own eyes how much more effective a private sector president is in the White House, they’ll apply the same methods to their school boards, their state seats, and their federal elections and the nature of politics will change dramatically.

The political class cannot compete with the hard-boiled proven executive who has spent a lifetime building a successful existence and that was never more evident than the dismal performance of Hillary Clinton leading up to the record-breaking debate on that famed evening which changed forever the nature of politics.  While Donald Trump was out campaigning across the country and doing interviews with Sean Hannity and many others—Hillary was locked away in her fortress behind thousands of handlers hiding.  The only significant interview she gave over a five-day period leading up to the debates was this pathetic mess below with Zach Galifianakis which was a terrible decision.  Whoever made that decision should have been not only fired, but skinned alive—because it was terrible—even by the standards of that show.  As the leading Democrat and long time connector between Hollywood and politics, Clinton has people like Bon Jovi on speed dial, and friends like Steven Spielberg to help her shape her image—yet under pressure from FBI investigations, obvious criminal conduct in front of Congress, and a political record laced with murders, incompetent accidents, and left-leaning radicalism all she could muster before that big Monday Night Smackdown was an appearance on Galifianakis’ silly show which obviously didn’t go the way she would have liked.  Even on such a friendly production set she was stiff, unlikable, and accident prone revealing that under the pressure of over a billion people watching and obvious health problems that could reveal themselves beyond her control, and an uncompromising opponent who will do anything to win standing next to her—Hillary Clinton is truly in trouble and it’s a dream come true for me.

If Hillary Clinton were just a senile old lady living down the road, I might have compassion for her condition.  But she’s seeking to manage my life with more expanded government and an even further left-winged political agenda that has proven to be a Trojan Horse intent on ending American sovereignty in favor of global governance—and I despise her for it.  What she has done along with her fellow leftist radicals has been a declaration of war against the kind of America that I love—an innovative place full of diversity and tradition.  Hillary’s America, like the recent movie articulated quite well, is a criminal empire guided by corrupt politicians that would make Jabba the Hutt from Star Wars pale in comparison.  So I have no sympathy for her situation.  She has literally painted herself into a corner—everything she has done in her life leading up to this moment in time—and the physical and mental pressure of it, are proving to be too great for her.

She’s in hiding while Donald Trump knows he has her cornered.  He is loose on his feet and ready to seal the deal of his own fate knowing that all he has to do put her away during this upcoming debate and he wins the presidency.  To put it in golfer’s terms, this is a putt under par literally on the rim of the hole.  All he has to do to win is gently tap the ball forward with the slightest of a putt and the ball will drop in.  However, for Hillary she has to hope for a 400 yard drive which will result in a hole-in-one, which is nearly impossible—and those just aren’t good odds.  The media is attempting to make the presidential race look even for their own ratings, but the difference is as I’ve metaphorically described.  Trump has all the high ground, Clinton has nothing but dirty tricks and cheating which will prove difficult on such a large stage—so she’s nervous—even scared—and she should be.

I remember the debates in 1992 when Ross Perot was on stage with George Bush and Bill Clinton and essentially the businessman easily outplayed the politicians earning a lot of respect for the Texas billionaire.  I worked hard for Perot back then even to the point of being at the campaign headquarters in Dallas the night before the election.  There was hope of getting between 15% and 20% of the vote which we all knew would have a lasting impact on future elections and we were excited.  We didn’t think Ross would win, but just being on stage planted the seeds for what would eventually become Donald Trump.  I enjoyed the company of Ross’s family that night.  One of his younger daughters was close to my age at the time which  made for an eventful, and respectable evening—but I remember vividly driving back from Dallas at over 100 MPH to get back to Ohio to vote and work the polls with just a few hours to spare.

Even as I got a speeding ticket in Tennessee for going 110 MPH—obvious reckless operation which I thought was going to put me in jail—the cop let me off with a much reduced ticket of 80 in a 55 zone because he liked the Ross Perot stickers that was all over the car I was driving—we called it the “Perot Mobile” back then.  It was often full of Ross Perot t-shirts, a banner which we hand delivered to the Perot family that they laced across their Texas mansion on election night which was made specifically for a CNN broadcast at a Dallas arena, and occasionally fashion models from Penthouse magazine which we dressed up to pass out Perot pins on Fountain Square during businesses lunches in Cincinnati.  We would pack the girls in the car to the point where there wasn’t any leftover space and when we all got out it was like a clown car of endless bodies emerging which seemed impossible to hold.  I remember vividly the optimism back then and it was nothing like what we are seeing on the cusp of the debate between crooked Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.

The Perot watch party was at the Omni Netherland Plaza in downtown Cincinnati and I was horrified literally to watch Bill Clinton win over George Bush.  All along with all the work I did for Perot I figured that Bush would remain president as the incumbent.  Change needed to happen, my protest of Bush was that he was such a globalist compared to Ronald Reagan, and he needed a shot across his bow to bring him back to reality—and the patriotism of nationalism.  But he was a one world government guy and he lost to the criminal drug pusher from Arkansas and Hillary Clinton was within sight of her ultimate goal of the presidency herself—riding on the coat-tails of her husband.  I sat on those steps that evening and felt terrible—and I resolved to fix it any way I could.  What happened next was 24 years of government expansion and a drastic move to the political left and a weakening of American presence around the world—and it has disgusted me.  I thought things were bad after just four years of George Bush the elder—enough so that Ross Perot was a wake-up call for the Republican Party.  What we ended up with was Hillary Clinton—the power climber and corrupt politician whose ultimate goal was to finish what Bush started—ending American sovereignty to the highest bidder—in this case George Soros—and bring America crippled from within to the feet of the world government compliant, and apologetic.

Knowing what I do about Trump he feels much the same way that I do. For years he gave money to these politicians to keep them out of his business practices, and to hope beyond hope that something might actually get done.  But he’s watched a lifetime’s worth of failures from the political class and now in his own elderly years he’s ready to just do the job of fixing everything himself.  As a person used to winning everything he does, he gets to debate a wounded radical with a lot to hide which is easy pickings for a guy like him.  It reminds me of the debates I had on WLW radio and in public with the levy supporters of Lakota a few years back when they could do nothing to answer the fiscal facts I presented but provide an emotional argument in favor of children, which was really easy for me—a businessman—to combat.  It was like cutting butter with a hot knife—it took almost no effort because the facts were on my side.  Leading up to those events people asked me if I was nervous because the Lakota people had this big political machine and I essentially had nothing but a few angry supporters—and I replied cautiously that I wasn’t.  I kept wondering if they knew something I didn’t—which wasn’t likely—but I wasn’t sure.  Of course history showed that I had nothing to worry about—and Trump has even less.  Hillary is a wounded animal literally hanging by a thread and after he puts her away Monday night—the media won’t be able to dress up her terrible performance.  The scouting report on her is that she can’t answer questions about her email and she can’t defend her thirty year record—and under stress—she physically breaks down.  Trump is the perfect candidate for the Republicans.  For me he is rectification of that night long ago at the Omni Netherland Hotel where I didn’t want to talk to anybody for several days—not even the friends of our “Perot Mobile” who were staying at the Omni Netherland and wanted to do something to salvage the evening.  I couldn’t think about any of that kind of stuff—I just wanted to fix the situation and I’ve had to wait a quarter century to get the next chance—and Trump is that solution.

I can’t wait for the debate to start—because at that point Hillary Clinton is one step closer to becoming a bad memory and for a change to send the Democrats into the depths that I have been on since 1992.  And when they get there, I won’t forget who they are—and they won’t be coming back.  The debate between Trump and Clinton is about more than just winning that one night—we are seeing the end of a political class that encompasses Republicans and Democrats and ushers in a new era of business men and women who are proven successes who bring to politics the best that they’ve been which will set our country on a completely different trajectory regarding economics, culture, world presence—virtually every category of human endeavor.  Needless to say, I will enjoy watching Hillary Clinton squirm to the bitter end—because she deserves everything that is happening to her for what she has tried to do to our country.  Donald Trump is simply making things right again starting with ending her career in a spectacle which will easily eclipse Monday Night Football.

$400 million to Iran: The organized crime of the Executive Branch and the Clinton Foundation

Recently, Charles Krauthammer alluded that he had no doubt some of the 30k emails Hillary deleted from her private e-mail server very likely had references to the Clinton Foundation, which would be illegal and a conflict of interest. I’m not a huge Krauthammer fan but he is a smart guy.  Essentially, he is a trusted voice when it comes to these kinds of matters. So read this knowing that the Obama administration was just caught giving Iran $400 million dollars in cash to free the four prisoners they had—which is also illegal.  These aren’t just politicians ladies and gentlemen, they are criminals and they have been caught.  For Donald Trump, this is an easy election.  All he has to do to beat them is win in November.  Nobody on earth deserves to lose more than Hillary, Obama and their organized crime grip within the federal government.

The Clinton Foundation is “organized crime” at its finest

 Here is a good, concise summary of how the Clinton Foundation
 works as a tax free international money laundering scheme. It may
eventually prove to be the largest political criminal enterprise in U.S.
 history.  This is a  textbook case on how you hide foreign money sent to
 you and repackage  it to be used  for your own purposes. All tax free.  

 Here’s how it  works: 
 1.

You create a separate foreign “charity.” In this case, the Clinton’s set it up in Canada.   

 Foreign oligarchs and governments, then donate to this Canadian charity.
 In this case, over 1,000 did — contributing mega millions. I’m sure they  did this out of

the goodness of their hearts, and expected nothing inreturn. (Imagine Putin’s buddies

waking up one morning and just deciding  to send untold millions to a Canadian charity). 

3.

The Canadian charity then bundles these separate donations and makes a massive       

donation to the Clinton Foundation.  

4.

The Clinton  Foundation and the cooperating Canadian charity claim Canadian law
prohibits the identification of individual donors.

 5.

 The Clinton Foundation then “spends” some of this money for legitimate good works

programs. Unfortunately, experts believe this is on the order of 10%. Muchof the balance

goes to enrich the Clinton’s, pay salaries to untold numbers of hangers on, and fund lavish

 travel, etc.  Again,  virtually all  tax free, which means you and I are subsidizing it.
 
  6.

The Clinton Foundation, with access to the world’s best accountants, somehow  fails to

 report much of this on their tax filings. They discover these “clerical errors” and begin

 the process of re-filing 5 years of tax returns. .

 7.

Net result– foreign money goes into the Clinton’s pockets tax free and untraceable
 back to the original donor. This is the textbook definition of money  laundering.    
      

 Oh, by the  way, the Canadian “charity” includes as a principal one Frank Giustra.
 Google him. He is the guy who was central to the formation of Uranium One, the Canadian

company that somehow acquired massive U.S. uranium interests and then sold them to an

organization controlled by Russia. This transaction required  U.S. State Department
 approval, and guess who was Secretary of State when the approval was granted.

 As a note a side, imagine how former Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell feels. That poor schlep
 is in jail because he and his wife took $165,000 in gifts and loans fordoing minor favors for a guy

promoting a vitamin company. Not legal but not exactly putting U.S. security at risk.  

 Sarcasm aside, if you’re still not persuaded this was a cleverly
 structured way to get unidentified foreign money to the Clinton’s, ask
 yourself this:       

 Why did these foreign interests funnel money through a Canadian charity?

 Why not donate directly to the Clinton Foundation?  Better yet, why not donate money
directly to the people, organizations and countries in need?   
       

This is the  essence of money laundering and influence peddling. 

 Now you know why Hillary’s destruction of 30,000 e-mails was a risk she was willing to take.   

Bill and Hillary are devious, unprincipled, dishonest and criminal, and they are Slick!  
Warning: They could be back in the White House in January 2017.

Hillary Clinton’s Disastrous DNC Speech: Progressives do not belong in America

To be fair, not just because when I look at her I see spit—a skanky broken record that looks like a used up K Street whore disguised as a rabbit in that ridiculous white pant suit designed to hide her thunder thighs not from the world, but from herself—but that speech Hillary Clinton gave on the last night of the DNC was one of the worst displays of acting I’ve ever seen.  Not even Morgan Freeman could make it palatable.  It was a professionally written speech by others designed to hide her many crimes—and only the really stupid would believe any of it.  The weakness of Hillary Clinton, which I’m sure Donald Trump will exploit gloriously—is that when she opens her mouth, bad things come out of it.  That broken chicken voice she has comes across like peeled back fingernails across rusty metal sheeting and broken glass.  And what she says sounds like a nightmare against traditional American values.  Yet what cannot be ignored is that many of the problems in the world right now she has had a hand in, and she sold herself as though she could fix everything—when it’s not even believable that she could fix one thing.  A thieving, murdering drunk has more credibility than she does.

There are so many things to hate about Hillary Clinton. Watching her speech, the media covering it, and the idiots crying during it—I came to one conclusion.  America cannot support all ideologies under free speech—it cannot support a world where Republicans and Democrats both live in debate from Capitol Hill and manage the country’s affairs the way that Tipp O’Neal and Ronald Reagan did thirty years ago.  No, there is no getting along with Democrats.  They have to be destroyed within our American borders and sent someplace else for their “progressive” intentions.   That was after all the grossest aspect of Hillary’s speech—where she said she planned to work with both Republicans and Democrats in the house and senate which is a pipe dream without any roots in reality.  Hillary Clinton is one of the most divisive characters in American history, perhaps even more so than Barack Obama and she has no chance of rallying anyone to her cause except those roughly 43% of the population who are so brain-dead from years of pot smoking and welfare addiction that they have lost the ability to think.

What Clinton’s speech showed, which not even Morgan Freeman could hide with his heavenly words—who is known best as the person who made prison sound palatable in the Shawshank Redemption, is that progressives were making a move and hidden behind their last-minute efforts to buy and distribute American flags to the rally goers so they’d look more patriotic on television after Republicans shamed them into doing so—was that the real intention of their movement could be seen outside the arena on the streets of Philadelphia.  There, communist revolutionaries showed their cards and few in the media covered it.  Luckily a few did, which you can see below.  Those are the people of tomorrow and the ones that embody most “Hillary’s America”—shown so eloquently in the new film that is presently out at theaters across the country.

The communists in the videos from outside the DNC convention are the type of people America fought decades ago in wars across the world and now they are domestic terrorists bred in our public school system by many of the idiots who were in the room at the DNC convention and were crying over Hillary’s speech because finally for their minds—they had arrived at the moment of insurrection—the overthrow of America by a crime syndicate known as the Clinton’s.  For those who support Hillary Clinton and the progressive platform, there is your evidence that our public schools do not work—they simply make surrogates who will sign up for a lifetime of government assistance under a federal job advancing progressive thought into a borderless world and global vision worshipping Mother Earth instead of anything beyond.

The two sides cannot live together under one flag.  The progressives have to be defeated and pushed from our American borders.  Even if they eventually do outnumber the right-minded, America is not their country.  We are not a “DEMOCRACY” we are a republic and the masses will never rule from a communist mob the mind of the truly righteous.  A good mind can destroy the efforts of a million communist “progressive” bastards and it will be those who continue to challenge the attempts by the left to destroy America from within.  What we saw in Hillary’s speech was one last unadulterated attempt to erect a ruse which has worked in the past to keep their party, and their progressive movement alive.  But what I saw was a party poised for destruction—because beneath the words of the speech are the cracks of not a glass ceiling, but of a floor that is about to drop out on their very efforts plunging them into an abyss for which they will never return.  A political party where Hillary Clinton is the best that they can offer—and that is obviously deficient—there will be no going back from this.   We are on the brink and only one side can have the nation.  The losers will have to either be destroyed, or retreat to more sympathetic regions of the world—because America cannot hold both political parties situated this far apart diametrically.

Rich Hoffman Hosting WAAM Radio: Most of our problems summed up in an hour

Matt Clark needed to head out-of-town so he asked me to host his WAAM radio show at 1 PM on Saturday, which I accepted.  For just such occasions I now have a home studio to broadcast from since with my busy schedule, it is nearly impossible for me to actually do so from a fixed location.  It had been a very busy Saturday morning—so busy that there wasn’t even time to eat breakfast, so as I was doing show prep about a half hour before going on the air my wife brought me some Chick-fil-A to eat.  While I ate I was watching the news on a studio monitor.  This is what I saw:

WASHINGTON — Saudi Arabia has told the Obama administration and members of Congress that it will sell off hundreds of billions of dollars’ worth of American assets held by the kingdom if Congress passes a bill that would allow the Saudi government to be held responsible in American courts for any role in the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

First I spoke about the Russian jets buzzing American ships in the Baltic.  Putin has been openly challenging American interests around the globe.  He calculated that under the Obama presidency that the military would not fire on his pilots and that he could flex his muscle in the Baltic region.  He was right much to all of our embarrassments.  America should have shot down those Russian jets.  It is hard to take the life of other people, but the Russians shouldn’t have provoked our military.

Donald Trump is about to win New York big, which shouldn’t be a surprise.  Running a populist campaign Trump is at a severe disadvantage to other political candidates who know the system better than him, because they helped create the rules.  Trump needs a very dominating victory in New York otherwise this whole election process will linger on needlessly.  Kasich is going nowhere, and neither is Cruz.  For the sake of the Republican Party, it needs to get behind Trump.  Otherwise Trump will need to start his own party so that the focus can shift to a general election victory instead of all the party oriented politics.

Hillary Clinton is running for president even though she’s under investigation by the FBI.  Think about how amazing that is—we actually have the first woman running for president with a barrage of scandals on her coat tails—and she’s the expected front-runner.  This would have been the story of the decade in the 80s or 90s, but with all the topics of our day, it’s just one element that is almost background noise.

We have over 19 trillion dollars in national debt which to me is the biggest story of all.  We are actually talking about 21 trillion dollars within a few years of now, and that is unfathomable.  On the radio show I proceeded to talk about all the regions of the country planning to file for bankruptcy to get out from under all this massive debt—but there is nowhere to run.  At the current 19 trillion-dollar deficit it exceeds our national GDP and is big trouble for having any hope at actually paying it off in our lifetimes.  This is the clear exhibition of incompetent management of our government and it demands immediate action to avoid default.  The only way out is massive economic expansion of 7% to 10%–to have a chance at surviving with our national sovereignty.

The NFL player Will Smith was shot in New Orleans and his coach Sean Payton used the tragedy to call out for gun control.  This infuriated me greatly, CLICK TO REVIEW.  Payton ran his Saints organization under a bounty system the year they won a Super Bowl in 2010 and Will Smith was one of his star players doing his part.  Smith obviously thought that he was above the law as he was dining out with members of law enforcement then had a small wreck on his way home.  Instead of stopping to exchange insurance information, Smith ran off and the victim hunted him down a few blocks down the road and shot him dead.  I put the blame on the kind of system that Sean Payton has created with his football players which spilled over onto the streets of New Orleans.  So it was disgusting that Payton sought to deflect blame away from himself and blame guns taking a very progressive position against them.  It was pathetic to use the murder of his friend to advance a political cause that deflected away from his own bad behavior.

Socialists around the country are demanding $15 dollars an hour for minimum wage which is insane.  Money is a measurement of value—if money is just handed out indiscriminately, it loses its value and inflation is invoked.  It is truly pathetic that more people do not understand basic economic concepts.  Fast-food workers are not worth $15 dollars an hour by market measurement.  The government backed increase will only cost jobs because it will force companies to automate their processes to cover their margins.  To the socialists that are causing all these problems globally, they just don’t understand that money is a measurement of values which they don’t see or understand because their emphasis is on equality—which essentially is a unit of measure that throws out all judgment.  You can’t have any kind of functional society without human judgment.  One thing I do on this site is write abundant articles on archaeology, as I am pretty obsessed with the causes of demise regarding ancient cultures.  I would attribute this tendency of demise to the Vico cycle which is a recurring theme given to human inclination hard-wired into our brains.  It is up to us to rewire ourselves to think differently and to make a conscious decision to step away from that destructive cycle.  The $15 dollar an hour minimum wage proposal is a promise to destroy our economy—which has always been the goal of socialists.

John Kasich is an unmitigated, delusional idiot totally out of touch from reality.  Watching him run for president makes you wonder if that guy has actually retained his sanity.  I think he has lost it somewhere over the last few years—he is certainly not the same person I knew back in 2010.  He sounds like a babbling fool and he’s just embarrassing.  He has no moral platform to even consider being nominated for president and he’s functioning under the assessment that he does.  I get messages from his campaign every day talking about how he’s the only guy who can beat Hillary in a head to head election.  Give me a break.  I don’t think he could win at anything against anybody.  He’s a buffoon obviously surrounded by complete idiots.  His type of politician is exactly what has screwed up our government in the first place.  It’s hard to believe that people like him are out there until you hear him talk and realize that he has so much support from the establishment.  No wonder we are in so much trouble.

Bernie Sanders is actually beating Hillary head to head as a socialist—and that points to a radical shift in our country.  Young people like Sanders, they are ready to embrace socialism because we’ve allowed the concept to be taught in our public schools and colleges, and now they are voters.  As of now there is a strong chance that he could be the Democratic nominee and he has half the country at his back.  Remember when Mitt Romney received all types of flack, which probably alone destroyed his 2012 campaign for president when he made the 47% comment?  What he said was true and now just four years later those 47% are looking at an open socialist like Bernie Sanders and thinking hard about voting for him just so they can get free stuff.  That is a serious problem—economically, and ethically.

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg asked his employees this week if they should publicly denounce Donald Trump. I see Zuckerberg as just a stupid kid—a little midget boy who is about the same age as my kids who got lucky with some code that he wrote.  His politics are consistent with other Millennials taught progressive ideology in public schools and George Soros activism from publications like MoveOn.org and Think Progress.  Those publications then inspire more mainstream outlets like Rolling Stone and The Huffington Post.  Zuckerberg even though he’s a billionaire is an open border socialist and he is the next great threat to our American Republican after George Soros finally dies off.   The problem with Zuckerberg is that he has name recognition and a product that most everyone in America is using and loves.  He is the Lex Luther of our real world—and he has to be stopped.  For that reason, I am not on Facebook.  As I explained on the radio, the people helping me with my book projects created Facebook accounts for those novels, but I personally don’t have anything to do with them because I reject Mark Zuckerberg in every way shape and form.  He is an American villain.

The Ohio legislature is ready to throw in the towel to pro marijuana activists early in the fight to legalize medical pot before there is a vote in November.  Again, as I explained on the radio, I am against pot in every way shape and form.  I don’t take drugs, not even aspirin, so I’m dead-set against more drug legalization—especially medical marijuana.  In Ohio, the legislators want to get their hands on the tax money that pot could bring to the state, because they are so miserably hungry for another revenue stream which will allow them to redistribute more tax payer money to people who don’t deserve it—that they’ll do and say anything—even create a marijuana bill avoiding tax payers at the ballot box in November.  They are all villains as well, and they are selling out their state because they are lazy fools guilty of mismanaging our government.

And finally Puerto Rico wants to file for bankruptcy, it is $70 billion in debt and there is no hope of coming out of it.  Democrats are against the proposed bill which is in front of Paul Ryan because it prevents a raise of the minimum wage in that territory as they push for socialist increases across America.  If Puerto Rico is granted bankruptcy protection then following will be states like California and cities like Chicago who are all on unsustainable economic paths.  So house Republicans have a major problem on their hands far worse than whether or not Donald Trump is their nominee.  We have major, major, major problems and nobody is talking about it—because the consideration is so unpleasant.

So it was a busy one hour broadcast that rivals anything that you can hear on talk radio.  Since Matt gave me an open opportunity on WAAM’s airwaves and I already had the hour blocked off, I took the time to make the case in a way that connects the dots for everyone listening not only to the live broadcast, but the podcast later.  It’s valuable information that nobody in the mainstream news is able to provide to their supporters, because the complex nature prevents a correct understanding.  But I have a unique background and an ability to tie it all together so I did.  Hopefully you will enjoy the broadcast and will take the time to share it with someone you care about.  Because we all have some hard decisions to make and we need good information to help us make them.

Eden of America: Why we should repeal The Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act

Previously I published a very short book called Eden of America by Zophar Roberts which was written between 1800 and 1801.  Within it are the observations of a frontier world that pre-dates all present day politics except for the presumption of the implementation of the American Constitution.  It was a new nation learning about itself and what came before.  During that time there was quite extraordinary interest in the land that America inherited—and the mounds of the Ohio Valley which contained the remains of a giant race of people.  These people appeared to thrive during the Archaic Period of North American history and their descendents appear to have interbred with travelers from the Orient who were sailing all over the world in the days of the Phoenicians, the early Vikings, and of course the Chinese.   Following perfectly the Vico cycle, China after the 1420s closed off to the world and moved into a nation of anarchy then aristocracy abandoning their history at that point and allowing Europe to believe that when Columbus sailed the ocean blue in 1492, that they had been the first into the new world.  Europe believed the people he discovered were “Indians.”  What he really found were the remains of a people long abandoned to their roots that had devolved into nomadic tribes–(for a modern fictional example think of the Mad Max movies).  In the Ohio Valley they were called Adena and Hopewell Indians and they had lost their vast and sophisticated culture to time.  They occupied the lands that strange burial and ceremonial mounds were built on, but they had no clue as to how they were made or what they signified.  These mounds resembled quite similarly the types of earthen structures seen all over the United Kingdom and Ireland and have a rich history of mythological stories.  Additionally, earthen structures like those found in Ohio were similar to those in China and Siberia.  The Indians in America simply inherited them by default the way a modern-day urban dweller inherits the skyscrapers and architecture of a city.  They played no role in building the city, but they enjoy their construction as generations leave the earth and their memory with them.  That is the case of the “Indian” tribes who have been associated with the culture of pre-Columbian archaeology.

However, prior to the start of the Smithsonian Institute and the rise of the National Geographic society by Alexander Graham Bell—and many others, there was plenty of armchair archaeology going on as farmers settled the Ohio Valley and were finding the bones and relics of an ancient—and advanced culture which appeared to rival the Mesopotamian society in the Middle East—and the Indus Valley–the region of modern-day India and countries to the immediate east.  As many who settled the New World especially after the Civil War had cleared the politics of slavery from contention a strong desire inspired by the churches of Europe had a lot at stake to ensure to themselves that they were the ones on the cutting edge of something new—and fresh.  They were strongly motivated to ensure that America would be a Christian nation so they did as most European conquerors did for really the entire history of their religion—they erased the past and all evidence of it and used established science which the political machine controlled from a central Washington authority to preserve a dialogue which suited the politics of their migration from Europe to America.

Essentially from 1800 to around 1850 it was commonly known in the Ohio Valley and down into Kentucky that very large statured people lived in America and had a thriving culture of mysterious origin.  But for the frontiersman, they had a curious speculation, but little investment to the contrary.  They were free to pick up skulls from their farms and hold them up to their human heads and proclaim their observations freely of which people like Zophar Roberts likely observed.  But with the new nation and its Christian heritage from Europe came the advent of academia shaped by politics to unseat the observations and steer societal consciousness toward religions and government desires which suited the continuing flow of immigrants who wished to make in America a “sister alliance” with the homeland after the brave souls who first fought the Revolution and declared themselves independent—even to the global practice of slavery—had done all the hard work.  They made treaties with the “Indians” then purposely broke them slowly over time building a storyline which would later justify all public attention.  That storyline was maintained by secret societies and conspiracy theory deliberately spread to hide the truth from generation to generation.  After the Spanish-American War, then the Civil War followed by westward expansion and the lust for wealth during the Gold Rush the destruction of those past civilizations was complete and the observations from yesteryear nearly quelled.

To further suppress those early American observations of a species of giants who left behind an advanced culture lost to history laws were created to protect the Indians who were naturally associated with being present before the arrival of Columbus.  Even though archaeology became an established science really at the turn of the 20th century organized under university tutelage seriously between 1910 and 1940 some good work was being done to answer some of these lingering questions.  As momentum began to pick up as to the origins of some unanswered questions regarding “Indians” the political class seeking a preservation of their aristocratic tendencies for control established in 1990 the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act which essentially made it impossible for any archaeologist to obtain permits to conduct a dig into some of these mysterious Ohio Valley mounds to learn more.  Since then, archaeology into those ancient cultures have nearly stopped.  It is clear to a mind that asks questions and makes observations based in reality that the Native American Graves Protection Act was to serve as a similar means of historic scientific editing as the barbarians that burnt down the Library of Alexandria which I think was one of the most epic catastrophes that ever occurred on earth—not in enormity—but in what was lost to history.  By utilizing the Smithsonian Institute interpretation of historical documentation—which has done some fantastic work over the years but is in all actuality—a single source only validated by National Geographic which  also has a Washington D.C. home base—laws were written to protect a line of dialogue that supported a progressive interpretation of Native American occupation supporting a world view using Christopher Columbus as a benchmark in history.   I’m not one to say that those scientific organizations are not valuable, but they are certainly inspired by the climate of politics within the city that they operate.  Thus, they are committed to the progressive outlook shaped by legislation and the dialogue of abused rights attributed to an invented class of citizens called, “Native Americans.”

As proof, the ancient city of Cahokia was noticed as recently as 1923 while a neighborhood was being constructed upon its ruins.  Builders at the time thought the pyramids on the site were just hills.  By 1966 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places.  Then in 1982 it was listed as only one of twenty-three World Heritage Sites.  It is one of the most archaeologically significant places on earth and standing atop the large mound there, which is the third largest in the known world—you can see downtown St. Louis—that’s how close it is yet so far away from mainstream thought.  Since then there have been excavations but the work has been extremely limited.  It’s a wonderful state park but scientists are no closer to understanding the people of Cahokia than they were in 1982. All the theories were essentially published at that time and the park system of the historic site has maintained that dialogue since.  Because of the Native American Graves Protection Act all science in that area must be given approval by caretakers of Indian tribes as if they had anything to do with the Cahokian site. But because of politics, they have been given authority to limit scientific evaluation—incorrectly. The process is essentially the same as using the EPA to stop business development, or a township zoning commission to prevent healthy new economic growth within a community. The Native American Graves Protection Act keeps the story of the Ohio Valley giants suppressed by authentic science leaving us only to speculate.

When you hear of firsthand accounts such as what was provided by Zophar Roberts, which then was reflected by Abraham Lincoln as he traveled prior to his presidency on the campaign trail and saw many of the same speculations—we get a glimpse into the archaeological world as it should have evolved—with an open mind and a natural human curiosity that could evolve with the facts as they were presented.   Over the last century there have been many political factions tied directly to religion and a global dialogue shaped but a philosophy established on Greek assumptions that whatever happened prior to Christopher Columbus didn’t matter.  All that does matter is from the perspective of a modern interpretation of a reality formed by religious foundations.  These giants which likely reside today in the unexcavated mounds of Miamisburg, Ohio—and many, many other places are part of a history that modern politics wants to forget—and so far they have been allowed to edit the scientific fact toward that reality.  But thanks to stories which crawl out from under unmolested sources—we sometimes get a window into the world before such corruption took place.  And to really understand America and our very lives within a historical context, we must always accept new evidence as it makes itself known.   To that effect, I give a lot of weight to the account of Zophar Roberts.  It at least inspires further excavation in places untouched by science—Miamisburg is the perfect location.  If nothing is within that mound contrary to the Smithsonian account of the Adena and Hopewell Indians—so be it.  But we’ll never know unless we look.  I suggest a repeal of The Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act.  Then I suggest funding excavation of these sites without political limits by private sector money and what we will find is more along the lines of Zophar Roberts rather than National Geographic.  We will never know unless we give it an honest shot and so long as the government has its hands in science—we never will.  Science needs to be driven by the private sector—and then the truth will be revealed.

If You Voted for John Kasich in Ohio–You’re an Idiot: George Soros gave over $200,000 to the establishment Governor

In Ohio Democrats are Switching to Republican to Vote Trump: Defining real conservativism during an important primary

This is a pretty important story.  Republicans have a severe “branding” problem.  People like me who are very conservative find people like George Will, Karl Rove, Mitt Romney, John Kasich, Marco Rubio, John Boehner and even locally, Patti Alderson, Don Dixon, Cindy Carpenter and many others terribly flat and unable to win contested issues against Democrats.  They are what make up the Republican “establishment,” these days and it is their fault that the Republican “brand” has declined, and even failed in most cases.   As I’ve discussed before conservatives won’t get everything we need in just one election.  There has to be a multiyear plan enacted to repair the massive damage done to the party by Republicans moving left of center to attract new voters.  And just for the record, Ronald Reagan was not conservative enough for me.  He is not the benchmark of conservativism as far as I’m concerned.  When Marco Rubio or Ted Cruz say they want to be the new party of Reagan, I cringe.  Reagan actually toyed with joining the Communist Party and was a union leader for a time.  Only late in life did he learn to speak like a conservative and very late—become one.  I liked him-but when it comes to conservatives I am often very let down—because few people are as conservative as I am.

However, in this election I am emphatically supporting Donald Trump.  He by far has the most conservative views on the stage currently, and he has a track record of accomplishing things.   The fact that many people are making it fashionable to point out things that he has not done so well is laughable.   I’d ask to see their track record—which they have nothing to compare to.  Trump’s airplane is worth more than most of the critics of him put together.  As Trump stated recently, just one of his stores in New York is worth more than Mitt Romney.  I’d rather deal with a person who has a thousand failures and two or three blistering successes than a loser who sits on the sidelines and is afraid to do anything because they are the overly timid types.  That describes most of the people I know in the Republican Party.  Trump brings a lot to the Republican Party—particularly when it comes to “branding.”  He also is attracting fence-sitting Democrats—which is exactly what the Republicans need if they really want to “expand” the party.  When people say that Trump is not a conservative then where is the anger at actual Democrats like Butler County Commissioner Don Dixon who switched parties to win in a conservative Ohio county—and the many thousands across the nation just like him.  Trump is much more conservative than Don Dixon, or the Ohio Central Committee representative Patti Alderson who makes the fundraising efforts of Claire Underwood from the Netflix series House of Cards look like an amateur.  (Ann Becker is running against Patti—VOTE FOR ANN on March 15th.)  Don’t tell me establishment Republicans are more “Republican” than Donald Trump.  Trump is calling himself a Republican in a very liberal part of the country, and that takes guts.  And don’t tell me he’s doing damage to the “party.”  Read this article out of Youngstown, Ohio.  This is where Trump is a lethal weapon for the GOP—if they were smart enough to use it—which they aren’t.

About 1,000 Democrats in Mahoning County so far have switched their party affiliation to Republican with election officials saying several did it to vote for Donald Trump, the GOP presidential front-runner.

“We are seeing something this election cycle I’ve never seen before to this degree,” said board Chairman Mark Munroe, who’s also the county Republican chairman. “Every day I take phone calls or get voice messages from people saying they’ve been Democrats all their life and they’ve had it. They want to vote for Donald Trump. I’m surprised at the volume of inquiries we’re getting. It’s remarkable.”

A number of Democrats taking a Republican ballot when voting early at the board “say they want to vote for Trump,” said Joyce Kale-Pesta, Mahoning County Board of Elections director.

About 7,000 Mahoning County voters have cast early votes. Early voting started Feb. 17 and ends March 14, the day before the primary.

Of those 7,000, about 14 percent were Democrats who voted Republican, Kale-Pesta said. That’s about 1,000 so far.

The percentage of Democrats switching parties will grow even more, said board Vice Chairman David Betras, who also is the county Democratic chairman.

And it doesn’t concern Betras.

“I knew Donald Trump’s message would resonate with blue-collar Democrats,” he said. “But once they learn about his record – besides him being anti-trade – they will change their minds in the general election. I assure you that come the general election, voters will vote our way once we tell the story of Donald Trump. The more chaos created in the Republican primary, the better Democrats will do in the general election.”

Betras, who backs Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton, said it “would make me happy for Donald Trump to beat John Kasich,” the Ohio governor running for president as a Republican.

About 5 percent of Republicans – 350 voters – cast Democrat ballots of those who’ve voted so far, said Chris Rakocy, the board’s information technology manager.

Munroe, who supports Kasich, said that if the governor isn’t the Republican presidential nominee, “I’ll be glad to support whoever is our nominee.”

When asked about Trump’s various controversial statements, Munroe said, “Should Trump be the nominee, he’ll have plenty of time to rehabilitate himself.”

Trump is the reason turnout will be higher than normal for this primary, Munroe said.

“We’re seeing this all over the country; the Republican vote is way up and it’s because of Trump,” he said. “Now, it’s happening in the Valley. Whatever you think of Trump, you can’t take away his ability to energize the electorate.”

There are 161,009 registered voters in the county, including 40,958 Democrats and 14,663 Republicans. The rest are independents, who don’t vote in primaries, with a tiny number affiliated with third parties such as Green and Libertarian.

In Ohio, party affiliation is basely solely on voting in a primary, Munroe said.

“All you have to do is tell a poll worker that you want to vote for a certain party in the primary and that becomes your affiliation,” he said.

Election officials in Trumbull and Columbiana counties say they aren’t keeping track of how many voters are changing party affiliations.

“But we’ve had some people say, ‘I want to switch to the Trump party,” said Stephanie Penrose, Trumbull County’s elections board director.

“There are a lot of Democrats switching over,” said Kim Meeks, Columbiana County’s elections board deputy director. “We see a trend, but we won’t know details until after the primary.”

Let that simmer for a bit and think of what that could do for the GOP.  Think about California come November 2016, or New York.  Tell me there is another Republican in the party today who could win in these places.  The answer of course is that there isn’t.  Ted Cruz won’t.  And nobody else will either.
