Looters of Lakota Are Back At It: Doing all they know……………asking for more money to spend on teacher contracts

The Looters of Lakota are at it again.  They are planning to toss another tax increase on the fall ballot, as expected.  Read the rest of the article from The Enquirer below.

LIBERTY TWP. — Voters in Greater Cincinnati’s second-largest school system will likely see a tax hike on the fall ballot.

The Lakota Board of Education voted unanimously Monday evening to place a combination operating levy and a permanent improvement tax on the Nov. 5 ballot.

Voters will decide on a 3.5-mill operating levy and a 2-mill permanent improvement levy combined into a single 5.5-mill school tax hike issue.

The board’s vote is the first of two required under Ohio law to place school tax issues on the ballot. Lakota officials have until Aug. 7 to file with Butler County election officials for the Nov. 5 ballot.

If approved, the levy would cost an additional $168 annually in new school taxes on a $100,000 home.

Needless to say, they were warned.  They can expect a very nasty fight on this one.   Much more to come………………………………………………

  1. Reblogged this on shaynroby and commented:
Just like the political party that the teacher’s unions always support, the teachers are asking for money off the backs of the taxpayers whom often toil harder for their money.

    1. No, they are like those little wack-o-bat carnival games. They come up out of their holes and wait for someone to bash them back to where they came from. But they only have two motions, hide in a hole, and get hit over the head when they stick themselves back up again. Unlike in the past where only I spoke up, there are more people who are onto the game. That’s not good for them.

  2. The above story reminds me of the saying “Democracy is Two Wolves and a Sheep deciding what’s for lunch.”

The never ending increasing theft (taxation) is why I elected to rescind my voter’s registration, leave the United States Democracy, move to Atlanta Georgia and give up being a taxpayer.
Social Security is actually Social Insurance. If you don’t want to pay the ridiculous premiums (taxes) to cover all the other participants losses then cancel your Social Insurance policy!

No one can compell anyone to participate in their Social Insurance schemes.
If you don’t like the premiums, unvolunteer from the United States Social Insurance Company, or quit complaining and pay up!

    1. No entity should be allowed to ever move a person from a destination of their choice. Just because those idiots have a desired need, it does not compel others to their service by any contract written by any form of magician’s illusion.

  3. Mantia has to pass a levy. If she doesn’t, she will be considered a failure. The union ownes Mantia and the board. Lakota needs a new board, but not too many people have the courage to run for office. If the union endorses the candidate then you know that is a bad choice. It is never for the children and you have given many examples of the corruption running government schools. Michael Clark says the enrollment has decreased by 9% and that they have eliminated 140 teachers. Everyone knows he is handed the stats and article by the public relations paid employee of the district. They should eliminate that job. More to come with other stats.

    1. Yes not too many people want to run for school board, only the kind of people who want attention, but they often lack management ability. I thought about it, but then I want to dismantle public education, so its not my kind of job. I think they need to be eradicated in their current form.

I’m covering the 9% reduction on July 3rd. I have a lot of topics on my plate right now, and these idiots are pretty far down the food chain. But basically, their declining enrollment is their worst enemy. They are asking for money when they should be planning to lay off 9% of their work force over the next two years.

Mantia was brought in to do one thing, not manage the district, but to pass a levy. That’s all those superintendents do, so you are right. She has to try, otherwise the quarter million dollars she’s paid each year is wasted money, in the eyes of the school. To me its all a waste of money.
