50 Years of Marriage: The Rams draft Michael Sam–the first openly gay NFL player

It was a rare privilege these days to attend the 50th wedding anniversary of some family friends hosted at a church they had spent their entire life attending.  Prior to the event my wife and I had just celebrated a few days ago our own anniversary of 26 years.  My parents were there and next year they will celebrate their own 50th anniversary.  Growing up I had two sets of grandparents who both went past the 50 year marriage mark which didn’t seem unusual back then.  In the middle of the celebration came the news through social media that Michael Sam had been drafted in the 7th round by the St Louis Rams—which was significant because he is the first openly gay player to enter the NFL.  Talk about locker room tension, or even on the field concern of being tackled by the guy who will unquestionably struggle to keep his sexuality in check around naked men every day.  The kind of idiots who think that gay athletes can be paired together without circumstance are the same fools who can’t fathom being married for 50 years to a member of the opposite sex, raising a family and falling in rhythm with that person in a lifelong dance that builds good people as byproducts to the relationship.

A long time friend of mine gave a nice speech to the crowd amassed in the bowels of the Grace Baptist Church in Middletown about how important his parents had been to he and his sister over all those years.  It wasn’t difficult for him to conger up many good memories of all the years his parents had been there for him like a rock to depend on.  As I listened I knew my own children and now grand children had similar thoughts which would become that much more pronounced when my wife and I hit our own 50 year mark.  That seems like a long time ago, but we realized during the speech that all these 50 year marriages had essentially all been present at our own wedding and they were at the stage then that we are now.  I remember thinking at the end of the 1980s when divorce was becoming rampant and easy by lawyers looking to make money off other people’s misery that many then thought 25 to 30 years of marriage was impossible, yet many were present at our own wedding at the Becket Ridge Country Club.  That in itself was sadly unusual.

Long marriages are not about sexuality.  They are about teamwork, commitment, determination, tenacity, love, and a willingness to walk through the fires of life and spit out the flames one by one at whatever cost.  No marriage over such a long time goes without pitfalls because life has a way of issuing out detours to such journeys without any compassion to our sensitivities.  Long time couples find a way to work through things and come out on the other end and their families are stronger for it.

The news of the new openly gay NFL player is a judgment based on a person’s sexuality only.  It is a progressive desire to destroy all resemblance of traditional family values and place before the world the progressive notion of an athlete that is gay as though such a thing could be normal.  Regardless of how one believes another might become gay, the fact that Michael Sam is will without question cause difficulties in the lives of his teammates.

Being married for a long time I can declare with safety that if I were playing football and the cheerleaders had to shower in the same location as my team mates, my wife would not be OK with that.  The reason is because sexuality needs to be focused and conducted in the bedroom of our home in order for her to manage all the other tasks of our family.  Having nakedness and sexual temptation outside of our marriage would then weaken all the important tasks in our relationship, such as picking out new trees for our yard, keeping track of events in the extended family, needs that the children might have and so on.  Seeing the naked bodies of many women even if the occurrences did not lead to sex would be distracting to our relationship.  It introduces elements that would pull the context of our marriage maneuvers into the primal realm which is not sustaining to families at large.  It’s not a matter of trust so much as sacrament.  If every other young woman prancing around gets a nice view of the tripod and can go home to satisfy themselves to its memory—what sacrament is there for my wife who is then supposed to worship it as a phallic beast meant only for her appeasement.  At football games she would know that all the little girls had the same knowledge of it as she.  They may not handle it but the vision of it is there in their minds for their enjoyment.

NFL player wives already have to accept that their husbands are likely cheating on them while on the road for away games.  That is bad enough.  But now they have to worry that Michael Sam will be doing more than playing ball on a football field and even if it isn’t beyond just looking—the act will be a sexual one.  For a man who likes to be under other men, nobody can legitimately ponder that for a gay male—being on the bottom of a football pile is not a fantasy that he will carry with him to his private acts.  For each man who adds a bit of sweat and odor to the fantasies of Michael Sam, it is sexual essence robbed from the wives of the players who are left with almost nothing sacred for their own bedroom.  Part of the appeal of a married couple is that their sexuality is committed to each other—not the world at large.

I do not like it when my wife goes to a doctor.  Her nakedness belongs to me.  Now, in the scheme of the human body we are all just clumps of flesh and once the soul is removed, the body decays away into dirt.  Humans bring value to such nakedness through their relationships.  If every other man out there has seen the naked body of a wife, then there is less sacred appeal in the bedroom—and anybody who has been married for a long time knows the need for such things.  Sure you get used to seeing each other but there is still purity in knowing that every neighbor up and down the street has not seen her which makes her treasures a gift of the relationship.  Without such enticements, fighting through the really hard stuff is not very appealing—and people usually give up.   This is also why being married to a stripper will bring unusual tension to a relationship.  It might be fun while she is young and attractive, but down the road when her old customers are lonely and looking her up online after she’s popped out a couple of kids—her naked body will be on their mind.   They don’t want to talk—but to remember.

To people who think marriage is a mystery and really have no clue to how relationships work, they are cheering for the progressive step forward society has taken as the St. Louis Rams drafted Michael Sam.  They believe that putting a gay man in a locker-room with other guys will actually work but it won’t, mark my words.  The two things are not biologically, or intellectually compatible and the tension of sexual premise will be distracting to the organization in a very negative way.  Progressives are fine with the conflict, because they are out to change the essence of how human beings conduct relationships.  They are interested in the social impact of changing behavior—especially in marriage.

An old friend sat at my table at this anniversary dinner—one I hadn’t seen in about 20 years.  We picked up our conversation upon the last sentences we had uttered two decades ago only he filled me in on the three marriages he had over that duration.  Such things are normal these days.  Having children with one wife then children with a second and third and trying to see all those kids who are essentially being raised by other men who do not share the same kind of values as the original father is simply destroying children—and these days it is normal behavior.  Nobody thinks twice about hearing his story—but when people find out that my wife and I have been married for a quarter century they almost act like they stumbled into a leprosy village.  Yet everyone yearns for the 50 year anniversary.  I doubt there is a woman alive who goes to her wedding day not hoping to someday celebrate 50 years of marriage to her husband. Yet increasingly, such thoughts are a fleeting fantasy.

The progressives have destroyed the lives of many millions of people by teaching them the wrong values; this latest stunt involving Michael Sam is just the most recent.  Unisex bathrooms, easy pornography, and cheapened sexuality mixing gender roles attacking the family unit of tradition aggressively have destroyed our modern culture and left the children to be raised essentially by government schools.  Behind every marriage these days is a parade of parasitic lawyers chasing after the couple like hyenas waiting for one of them to stumble so that legal action against the other can take place and the state can take control of the children.   What my friend was thanking his parents for at the anniversary dinner was for giving him a sense of tradition and value as the trend has moved toward thinking that the Michael Sam draft is fashionable. Anybody coming from such long-term marriages whether it is my friend, me, or my children are lucky and we know it.  But it will be up to us to protect such opportunities in the future as the trend is against it.  Yet it shouldn’t be.

The Grand Lie of Public Education: How to fix a broken system

When anybody uses the term, “we must educate our children to compete in the global marketplace,” or any variation of that term the instigator is totally ignorant as to what makes education valuable. They falsely believe that education consists in teaching children left-winged ideology and work habits of a 100% commitment to institutionalism and that since the rest of the world is moving in that direction, that American education must consist of these erroneous premises. After all, political “leaders” see how things are done in China, and Japan, and they believe they must copy those methods—which is probably the dumbest thing that could be introduced to an American workforce and the people who make it up. People who believe that “education” as defined by Common Core standards is the way to direct young minds might as well be crack addicts instructing others on responsible living. The point of education eludes them making them a menace to the discussion of learning.

The most important attribute public education could and should implement into an instructional system of any kind, is the ability to think. The second thing it could do would be to teach students to be competent human beings. Anything outside of those parameters is useless to a human mind, and merely ornamental. Education is not a race against the socialists of Europe, the communists of China, or the kamikaze driven Easterner. Americans are imaginative, intuitive, and utilize large amounts of horse sense in their utilization of productivity and their education system needs to reflect this trend.

Americans fix tractors often with shovel handles, solve complicated engineering feats with bubble gum, and produce more patents than anyplace else in the world—because they are a free people who are at liberty to think. However modern education which leans way to far to the political left, is about chasing the rest of the foolish world teaching our youth to be just as stupid as everyone else, and to turn off their minds to the process of thought—and to embrace blind submission to institutional authority. This is the most damaging attribute that can be taught to an American.

If those who support government education want real success, not just statistical success relative to the rest of the world’s false methods they would teach young minds to “think” not just remember facts given to them by the state. Even conservatives are guilty of this tendency of believing that by committing resources to “education” that they have done their job. They don’t consider the quality of education, only that someone is doing something educationally related. They don’t think of what the implications of education may be if the wrong things are learned, or the wrong interpretation of history is broadcast to young minds awaiting programming of their brain by trusted adults.

Michelle Rhee the popular education reformer at the heart of the movie Waiting for Superman is wrong when she says that education is the key to the success of American children. That cliché is overused and ridiculous. It is a mythology designed to preserve the education culture and their utopian vision for the world. Most of those people are well-intentioned human beings who simply love children and teaching them—but they do not consider in those assessments the quality of their love, or their intelligence as factors that can hold back children from living otherwise fruitful lives. They assume that they are qualified to teach just because the state has given them a license to do so—a license that meant the teacher had to comply with the state’s version of reality.

The way to alleviate these faux pas in education is to teach children to think. Why is Common Core so vile and evil? The reason is that the only way it can work is to limit the intelligence of the most brilliant and force them to only be as good as the weakest links. Our modern education system does not like making such value judgments—which is why they ultimately are failures. The belief with Common Core is that if children spin their wheels copying off students from countries reeking with statism, that success will abound and that such success can be had by not asserting value to the quality of the students or their educations. It cannot. If students aren’t taught first how to think, or how to be competent human beings, the education system will fail 100% of the time.

If the value is to produce students who will mindlessly serve the state, then modern education throughout the world is doing its job. But if the goal is to teach human beings to invent new things, start businesses, vote correctly, or mentor a child—they are way off the intended target and have no hope of getting there under the current circumstances. Education is more than just lip service—it is a philosophy. It can’t be memorized; it has to be a part of an individual mind. There is no way to cheat it. If garbage is put into a mind, then garbage will come out.

My daughter sent me a text the other day that featured a cartoon of a young person reading a book. The caption read, “Uploading data to the human brain.” What we feed our brains is what we ultimately become. If we read good books, think good thoughts, and use our imaginations to explore possibilities, we will have reasonable success in life. But before that can happen, “good” has to be identified, and stood behind. If on the other hand we put into our minds garbage like pornography, sports stats, trivial nonsense like global warming issues, political diatribes and that kind of thing, our minds over time will become encumbered with sluggish thought processes. Education is not good unless the value of good accompanies it. A well-rounded education is not exploring sexuality, worshiping the earth, or supporting teacher unions. It is about learning to think and living as a competent individual.

It is utterly shocking how many functioning adults in 2014 are incompetent fools. The only way I can avoid this incompetency is to not leave my driveway in the morning, because there are some really stupid people functioning in the world—which is evidence that our education system is a complete failure. Yet politicians want us to do more of this foolishness so they can get their fingers on federal money dangled like bait in a trap to supersede our state sovereignty. That is just idiotic.

It is easy to make clichéd comments about education without considering the implications and it happens all the time. But the answer is not in just hiring more teachers, giving more money to teachers, or building more schools. That is not enough. The real intent of education is in teaching people to “think.” Without thought there is no education, there is no mind, and there certainly isn’t any kind of future. Without thought, there is nothing—but empty promises and misery. And I want no part in that.

The Emcee Doc Thompson: Future film and documentary production

It was kind of a funny story that took place at the 2014 Cincinnati Tea Party Tax Day Rally in Eastgate, Ohio.  Doc Thompson was brought in to perform as emcee, however, when the event began he was outside the crowd filled room on the radio with Matt Clark leaving Ann Becker standing at the podium waiting.  So I had to get Doc off the radio and fill in for him during the broadcast so he could begin the ceremony.  You can hear that exchange below as Doc and Matt were involved in an interview for WAAM Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Doc as usual came in and did several segments of ad lib, with no notes to speak of.  He didn’t even know that he was emcee for the event as he had just returned from Dallas, Texas where he was hanging out with Glenn Beck’s group at The Blaze—where they are moving into film and television production.  Doc and his radio partner Skip LeCombe had just finished the post production duties for a new documentary they are producing about the effectiveness of the Tea Party over the last five years—and are planning many more projects.  Glenn Beck is in production on three motion pictures at his Dallas studios, so things are moving quickly for Doc Thompson.  He came to the Cincinnati event on a whirlwind fresh off an airplane and didn’t know that Ann had slotted him to be emcee.  When I told him that he was the emcee he was surprised, but happy to fill the role.  Then he forgot about again it during his radio segment with Matt Clark.

As can be seen below, Doc doesn’t need notes.  He does so much radio every day from 6 AM to 9 AM on The Blaze Radio Network that he can just rattle off statistics and current events from memory.  He occasionally does television on The Blaze, so he has become very proficient at public speaking.  He was always good at it, but now it’s effortless for him.

During Doc’s radio segment with Matt he hit on something that is at the core of a huge modern problem.  Doc is moving beyond just providing radio commentary.  If you are a conservative, there are not film production venues out there that can currently represent our viewpoints.  Not that long ago in Hollywood conservatives like John Wayne and Clint Eastwood were openly attending Republican conventions in Los Angeles—but now, a Republican cannot be found in mainstream Hollywood—until very recently.  One of the reasons the Atlas Production Company had to be formed was to actually produce the novel, Atlas Shrugged—because Hollywood was not interested.

I have been to film festivals and at those events, there are seldom openly conservative films because it is well-known that projects with those kinds of messages will not get play—there is nowhere to distribute those types of creations—until now.  Prior to Glenn Beck’s Blaze television station, there was not a single conservative distribution outlet for a conservative project.  Anyone who wanted to make such a thing these days had to invent not just the product, but the production company as well, making funding of those types of projects even more difficult.  For instance, when my novel Tail of the Dragon hit the market the people who read it all agreed that it would make a great movie, it had product placement tie-ins, a strong NASCAR type storyline, and had its roots in traditional American film.  I would thank them, but in the back of my mind was—who would make it—Warner Brothers, 20th Century Fox, Paramount……………Amblin, would Harvey Weinstein at Miramax make a movie of the novel—of course not.  As a progressive Harvey would be repulsed by my material.  Not even Jerry Bruckheimer was able to overcome the hatred of conservative values in Hollywood with the Disney backed The Lone Ranger starring Johnny Depp.  The Hollywood machine hated the ideal of a modern western taking America back to the good ol’ days, so they attacked the film out of the gate.  It is nearly impossible to produce conservative projects like movies and documentaries unless a production company is created to make them.  Even then, distribution outlets are even scarcer—until now.  Perhaps Depp’s heart is changing with time and wisdom, his new fiancé is Amber Heard, who is a bisexual and would otherwise be touted among the Hollywood elite with welcome arms—except that she is a huge Ayn Rand fan.  That represents part of an emerging undercurrent that cannot be stopped and Hollywood is not happy about it.

Among conservatives like Doc, Beck, the Atlas Shrugged guys, and me we are all approaching our projects from the ground level.  The Steven Spielberg’s of our day are not able to provide the kind of mentorship that he had learning from Hitchcock and other notable directors from the past, because they are afraid to be associated with conservatives—for fear of blacklisting.  Some great filmmakers like Gerald Molen have broken loose from Hollywood and are now associating with Glenn Beck’s studios—and more are on the way.  But things are now changing because technology has given power to conservatives to bypass the studio system if they can figure out the distribution issue—and now that Doc has The Blaze at his back, he is making his move.

A few years ago I had the very grim realization that only I could make a project I had written into the kind of movie I wanted to see.  I had worked with selling to Hollywood for years but they never understood what I was trying to do.  I was sitting with some very notable Hollywood types at a restaurant in Glendale where belly dancers were performing and everyone wanted to think of themselves as very worldly.  The women were dressed in the latest fashion all perfumed up, and the men looked cut from the pages of GQ.  I had on camouflage pants and my outback hat with Gargoyle sunglasses and they accepted me well enough.  I cracked my whips in front of a movie theater on Brand Blvd and cut targets out of people’s mouths and everyone was having a delightful time—until someone brought up politics.  I voiced my opinion and that was the end of a productive evening.  They didn’t want to understand my Midwestern sensibilities, my position against public education, my views on small government, my hatred of Marxism, and my love of traditional westerns.

It’s not that people didn’t agree with me—often they do—but in a town run by progressive labor unions, and Hollywood is, it is hard to get work unless you are properly politically aligned.  And it is nearly impossible to even make a movie unless Hollywood is backing the project at least through distribution.  I have never known a single independent filmmaker who didn’t enter a film at Sundance or some other place like the Cannes Film Festival and hope that Hollywood picked up the project for distribution.  A Tea Party documentary is not the way to get distribution in Hollywood, and neither is a western.  Even though Disney has the power and money to produce a film like that, and even distribute it—the town of Hollywood attacked it through their critics and trade magazines to preserve their industry.  The same thing happened to the Atlas Shrugged films.

When I watch the Atlas films, or the Dinesh D’Souza’s documentaries, or even Glenn Beck’s documentaries there is something unpolished about them—even though the filmmakers are often industry professionals.  I attribute a lot of this to the fresh perspective of conservatism being represented once again in the film industry more than any lack of experience in film production.  But the key to reaching a public is through those methods and unless conservatives retake the film industry, the plight of traditional values returning to mainstream America is nearly impossible.

Doc is now moving into that realm.  His Tea Party documentary is just the first step.  He and I are planning to work on a project together, and I am planning things of my own.  It has taken time for me to assemble my thoughts on the matter, but I’m nearly there.  Like a lot of things, I had to go through a process of unlearning what was taught to me and that is matching up with the magnificent tools that are now at the disposal of anybody who dares to use them.

As usual, it was good to see Doc, and this year had a different feel to it than in times past—where a sense of desperation was ever-present.  This time we all had a presence of veterans who had been around and done most everything before.  Like I said on the air with Matt while sitting in for Doc Thompson as he went to emcee the Tea Party event, conservatives are getting better at putting our message out—and that is something that the other side is significantly terrified of.  In the future, there will be a lot more conservative competition in visual arts than there has been, and that is something to be very excited about.

Rich Hoffman Told You: Lakota gives over $2 million in raises to their teachers

Don’t say I didn’t tell you so, because I did.  I told the world over the radio, in newspapers, and in countless online articles that Lakota’s levy passage in 2013 was about one thing—giving their teachers raises for unaccountable performance.  Over this last week the Lakota school board kissed the feet of Sharon Mays, the Lakota Education Association president—particularly Julie Shaffer by providing not even a hint of resistance throwing money that was just approved in November for so-called security issues “for the children,” at the union.  The school board unanimously approved a $2,200 dollar salary increase for over 900 teachers which equate out to over $2 million dollars in increases— a huge portion of the money confiscated through the new tax increase.  Now that you dear reader have seen what Lakota did with the money they extracted from the public through a manipulative campaign where they played to the sympathies of the public, spent thousands and thousands of tax dollars on public relations strategies—it all came down to teacher pay increases just like I said it would—exactly.  Here is the video I put up prior to the 2013 election and my prediction for 2017.  Watch closely…………………….

Notice in that video what I said about 2017.  Well, guess what, the contract that Julie and Sharon just ratified together runs out June 30th, 2017.  Guess what happens then—more pay raises are expected just as the chart in my video shows—right on schedule.  Of course Julie, who is the representative of the union on the school board had good negotiations with the LEA.  She was their girl all along—that was evident as far back as when I debated her on 700 WLW before Scott Sloan’s wife put the clamps down on him so she could sell more homes as a realtor.  The sliced elective classes, the busing, the sports fees were all part of the extraction process.  As soon as the union realized they were going to get what they wanted, Lakota voted to give many of those things back to the public.  The game all along was to hold the public hostage until the union got their money.  Now that they have it, things can return to normal—its all part of the extortion racket set up in virtually all public schools.

The next move for the union was to allow the school rating to decrease from Excellent with Distinction.  If the November levy didn’t pass, that was the next step by the school board, superintendent, and their friends in the labor union.  There was already pressure from outside finance to alter the bond rating, which had to be averted because of the failed levies—and many of my friends on the No Lakota side knew that.  The radicals at Lakota contemplated letting the Excellent rating slip—which is mostly politics anyway.  This would drop the bond rating and throw the burden back on the No Voters.  That was too much for many of them to deal with, because that would have an immediate impact on realtor sales.  That is nearly the same type of dilemma that Congress faces when they decide whether or not to raise the debt ceiling.  It might be the morally correct thing to do—to not raise it—but in so doing the economy is wrecked.  The real problem is the debt spending, but the radicals spending the money use that dilemma to their advantage to prevent management action—so nothing happens because nobody wants to take the hit on their watch.  At Lakota if the 2013 levy did not pass, this was the union’s next step, to let the bond rating slip and drop the Excellent with Distinction certification to a level lower.  School board members of course didn’t want this to happen while they were in office, but the LEA union was fully prepared to employ that strategy.  That’s how much they care for the “children.”

I of course stood against the levy, even though I knew what was coming next.  For that I was personally attacked in many different ways and told that I should move from the district.  Even Scott Sloan who originally supported the No Lakota Levy position on the radio advocated that those against the Lakota tax should just move to another community if they didn’t want to see levy passage.  This was just an asinine position.   I have lived in Liberty Township since before a lot of the levy supporters in Lakota were even born, and I was told that I should surrender my home to all these panicky parents and radicalized left-leaning teachers just because they wanted more money.  That is how stupid the whole argument was—and continues to be.  Fairfield failed their levy in November and guess what—six months later it is back on the ballot and will continue to be until the unions get their money from the public.  Every time a levy is failed, the crazy union policy is to take more and more away from the public until they give in and pass a levy. The newspapers, television news, all mainstream outlets are all in on the heist because ultimately, property has been connected to these public schools which is the last line of defense for the union, an arrangement concocted through politics.

This problem will continue on until people no longer care about having their property values attached to a public school.  Lakota is near that saturation point, but is not quite there.  Liberty Township has a lot of out-of-state investment pouring into it from people moving into the area from other places—typically more progressive places like the East Coast and they bring with them these high tax trends which will last for about 15 years and taper off once a new hot spot is designated.  Currently these types of people outnumber homeowners like me who have been in the area for much longer than they have.  Through democracy they have the ability to pillage the land and its resources, and then leave it like an empty carcass.  They treat Liberty Township like the tail of a shrimp at a fine restaurant.  They dip the tail in a sauce and suck out all the meat leaving the remnants of a shell on a plate to be thrown away.  That is what Pro Levy voters and the labor union at Lakota are doing—and the school board lets them do it.

So what’s next?  Well, there will be another levy in 2017—as I predicted.   There will be another in 2023 as well and taxes will then become unsustainable for residents and businesses.  There will be a short-term influx of wealth created through this new labor contract as even No Lakota Levy people were happy to see the levy pass so not to affect the developments of Carriage Hill and Liberty Center.  But that will diminish as well over a fairly short period of time.  The battle plan of the radicals is fully set, and there just aren’t enough people with the stomach to stand against them—which they know.  As for me, I’ll continue to stand against the tax increases.  As it has been noticed, my focus lately has been on larger issues—the origin problems of how this whole system was constructed.  I have no desire to deal with the effects.  Doc Thompson and I are planning a documentary which was originally scheduled to shoot this past winter, but has been moved to the summer.  In it we plan to interview former Lakota school board members to tell a national story of how and why public education is a travesty and parasitic failure.  The documentary is set to be released through Doc’s affiliation with The Blaze—Glenn Beck’s vast Dallas-based enterprise.  I presented this material to everyone prior to the vote—what the teacher’s union planned to do with the money, but voters chose to preserve their level of comfort over the long-term sustainability of the district.   They picked short-term thinking over long-term management—and the levy narrowly passed.  Celebrations among progressive groups attached to public education erupted, because they knew the money tree had been turned back on and the scam known as public education was once again yielding fruit.  So for me, the next step is to attack the foundation of this debacle—and not the effect.

Lakota certainly mislead the public.  Sheriff Jones participated—he said during the levy campaign that the money was going to go toward security at the schools.  Well—guess what?  Now Liberty Township is seeking a levy to pay for police—for the schools. The two public employee unions, the FOP in Butler County and the LEA at Lakota are trying to double tax the residents of Liberty Township and they hope people are too asleep to notice.  That’s why the press release was put out for Lakota during the spring break period just ahead of Good Friday—while most people are otherwise distracted before the May 8th vote for the police levy, where residents can actually put some tax money back in their pocket.  Most levy supporters are too busy to pay attention to all these issues between soccer practices, career obligations, and the television shows stacking up on their DVR machines.  All these technical details are just too much to pay attention to—so they continue to vote foolishly to tax themselves—and Lakota knew all along that even though I was publishing their plans so people could vote accordingly, that in the end people either didn’t care enough to act, or were afraid of the results.  And thus—the teachers got what they wanted—more money.  Now they can go back to sexting students and enjoying one of the few professions in the world where they can make so much money doing virtually nothing but spreading left-winged political ideology and babysitting for parents who lack personal management.

Eric Holder, Louis Lerner, and Elijah Cummings Should Go To Jail: Public officials and the cover-up they cover-uped

“Forget about me [specifically]. Look at the way the attorney general of the United States was treated yesterday by a House committee,” Eric Holder told the crowd. “What attorney general has ever had to deal with that kind of treatment? What president has ever had to deal with that kind of treatment?”

The remarks drew loud applause from the crowd.

http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2014/04/a-fed-up-eric-holder-goes-after-congress-unprecedented-unwarranted-ugly-and-divisive/

And with that a criminal attempted to divert attention away from him and the president he is protecting with roars from a crowd—but he can no longer outrun the facts. They have caught up to him and those under him—and there is nowhere else to turn.

So what’s going on in Washington for those who don’t normally pay attention to politics…………..well, criminals who have been up to no good have been caught. Eric Holder, the current right hand man of President Obama, Louis Lerner the former head of the IRS, and one of the leading Democrats investigating the IRS scandal of targeting conservatives specifically have been found complicit in the crime of cover-up and nobody seems to know what to do with the unprecedented level of corruption exhibited.

True the Vote founder Catherine Engelbrecht responded Wednesday to reports that Rep. Elijah Cummings’ office may have prompted the IRS to target her group for additional scrutiny.

“Today’s committee action reveals what we knew all along. Partisan politics and the weaponization of government against opponents of this administration is real and continues,” Engelbrecht said in a statement. “Elijah Cummings has blocked the IRS abuse investigation all along. We now see clearly that two branches of government have colluded to target and silence private citizens.”

“America has come to a tipping point,” she added. “No more lies. No more cover-ups. No more collusion. Enough is enough. Finally, we have a chance for the rule of law to be re-established, thanks to the bold efforts of Chairman Issa and Rep. Jordan.”

She concluded: “We filed an ethics complaint against Rep. Cummings in February. Today we’re amending that filing to include this latest revelation. As I have said in my testimony before Congress; I will not retreat, I will not surrender, I will not be intimidated. I will not ask Rep. Cummings, Lois Lerner, Barack Obama, or anyone else, for permission to exercise my constitutional rights.”

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/04/09/top-dem-on-house-committee-investigating-irs-scandal-may-have-been-involved-in-targeting-of-conservative-group-issa/

House Ways and Means Committee Republicans aren’t ruling out the use of the chamber’s “inherent contempt” authority if Attorney General Eric Holder refuses to act on the panel’s accusations against former IRS official Lois Lerner.

The committee voted Wednesday to seek an investigation of whether Lerner violated federal law by using her power to ensure Right-leaning groups were targeted for extra scrutiny by the agency, giving misleading information during a probe of the matter by the Treasury Department‘s inspector general and using her personal email to conduct official business, which could have resulted in the disclosure of confidential taxpayer information.

“The Ways and Means Committee, led by Chairman [Dave] Camp [R-Mich.], has conducted a serious and thorough investigation of the IRS, uncovering abuses and criminal acts that should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio, said of the referral. “As I’ve said, if Lois Lerner continues to refuse to testify, then the House will hold her in contempt. And we will continue to shine the light on the administration’s abusive actions and use every tool at our disposal to expose the truth and ensure the American people get the answers they deserve.”

Among those tools is the House’s “inherent contempt” authority under the Constitution, which was initially exercised in 1795 during the First Congress and on multiple occasions thereafter. Lerner could be held until January 2015 when a new Congress is seated, which could issue another subpoena and throw her in the clink again if she still balks at testifying.

These are not mere accusations. The government employees mentioned above are criminals. They have knowingly used the power of government to advance their social agenda and they should be punished to the furthest extent of the law. These same people have lied about their conduct when questioned and should have all their activity conducted under public service analyzed and amended accordingly. They are no different from a thug who has robbed a couple outside of a grocery store, or a gunman who holds up a bank. They have committed a crime while representing the Oath of Office, and are despicable examples of social policy conduct.

But many of us, especially at this site have been saying this all along. We are the ones who refused to drink the Kool-aid and comply blindly with the authority of a corrupt Attorney General and an activist president intent to change society—even if it broke the law. The President and his Attorney General used pawns like Louis Lerner and Elijah Cummings to run cover for their attack on conservative groups who stood in the way of their progressive plans. They abused their authority, and now its time to pay for it. The IRS scandal, which will eventually point straight into The White House, is bigger than Watergate ever was. Obama and Holder made the entire issue all about “the cover-up,” because they lied and covered up the truth while looking straight into the eye of the American people.

They should at least lose their jobs and be stripped publicly of their accolades. But if there were any justice……………….any justice at all, they would all go to jail for their violation of the public trust.

Thank Glenn Beck: Dealing with culture instead of the tail of politics

I have on more than one occasion wondered if Glenn Beck reads from this site and gets inspiration for his shows based on the content.  Too many times I have said something on a particular day only to hear him discussing it two days, or two weeks later.  However, the likely scenario is that I share with him the ability to calculate the future based on observational computations and can pinpoint at a particular point in space and time the need to address an issue.  The accuracy of those computations for people able to perform them is as simple as 2 + 2 is 4 or 4 + 4 is 8, they represent a logic that is observable and predictable if the acknowledgment of reality is pure.  This has never been truer than when Beck announced recently that he was done with politics because he saw it as a game, and that he had plans to run his company, The Blaze, as a culture building mechanism as opposed to a political pundit reporting service.

http://www.nationalreview.com/article/372988/new-glenn-beck-eliana-johnson

I have thought this for a very long time, and have pointed often to the modern Star Wars saga and Walt Disney from the past, as tools in this arsenal, which mankind needs desperately.  One episode of a 30 minutes Star Wars cartoon is maybe 100 times more potent than a typical political speech which is often reported by the news in the same way that ESPN reports the happenings of a baseball game.  The real power to change the world is to affect culture not the news that comes from the culture once it’s established.  This is why The White House in a desperate push to get more health care enrollees by the end of March turned to YouTube in an attempt to reach young people.  Most of society is not watching Fox News, MSNBC, or the nightly news on the primary networks—they are plugged into entertainment culture—which molds the ideals that we all function from everyday.  As Beck said in the article linked above, the news is simply the tail of the dog—which is culture.

On so many occasions I have been asked to be a part of the political establishment, as my wife has railed in protest.  She knows what my real talents are, and she doesn’t want to see me distracted with petty pursuits which waste time.  Often elected office is responding to the tail of the dog as it wags it and I would rather deal with the dog.  That is not to say that other people shouldn’t tend to those kinds of things, but everyone has to do what they are good at—and I am at my heart and soul, a culture builder.  From the time that I was a little kid to the present time, I have been obsessed with cultural aspects and how they relate to one another.  In my present form, many consider me to be the most manipulative person they know, because they sense fractions of what I often do to them upon interaction—but in the end they end up thanking me for the effort.  Hind-sight often shows the logic, but foresight proves most will be lost—and I gave up trying to explain it to them a long time ago, because it just slows things down.

There is nothing more important than culture building whether it is a business, an educational philosophy, a family unit, a local government, or a national government, without a proper culture things always go amiss—100% of the time.  It is never important to discuss the tail of a dog, it is important to deal with the dog and by the time a school board makes a decision, or a group of trustees takes action after many meetings and the collaboration of many minds, or a president signs an executive order, the opportunity to solve the problem occurred many decisions ago in the cultural aspects of the decision, not the decision itself.  Culture determines the quality of a decision otherwise all decisions are like throwing darts—you can get close, but accuracy is often random and plagued with uncontrolled variables.

Glenn Beck has announced that he is producing motion pictures, specifically one about Christmas, which is important and another about just how bad Thomas Edison was in his climb to power and how he was used to give power companies a monopoly on every home in America—as designed by J.P. Morgan.  For most of our lives in America we were told that Edison was a tireless worker and inventor who created electricity.  But in reality, he was corrupt and motivated by greed when a pupil of his, Tesla showed far more promise—and innovation.  That part of history has been suppressed culturally which led to the political acceptance of a financial system of electricity delivery designed by a wealthy financier in Morgan to expand his holds and influence in a negative way—a way that still persists to this day—even though lots of options exist.  Beck instead of attempting to discuss this corruption through news outlets is going to take the message to the cultural level and make a movie about it.  This has infinitely more power than thousands of hours of Beck standing in front of chalk boards trying to explain to a few intellectual types the error of their ways.  A movie has the power to reach the masses, and actually change culture.

This is why Hollywood hates John Aglialoro’s efforts at making Atlas Shrugged into three films, the last of which is coming out in the fall of 2014.  A movie is the captured turf of modern progressives, and they want to maintain their ability to impact culture without the competition of other ideals.  Their hatred of the Atlas films is motivated exclusively by this realization.  Beck will experience even more intense hatred as his projects begin to percolate into cultural competition—because the enemies of his work know what is at stake.

So it makes me very happy to hear Glenn Beck declare what his future plans are—because he is once again way ahead of everyone else.  It may not be so obvious today, in 2014, but in 2100 it will be very obvious, and history will remember these efforts in how culture changed in dramatic ways.  One of those molders of culture will be Glenn Beck, and history will owe him a lot of thanks.

The World Wide Threat of Public Education: Reshaping the minds of youth at ANY cost

 This from Fox News:

“Uwe and Hannelore Romeike came to the United States in 2008 seeking political asylum. They fled their German homeland in the face of religious persecution for homeschooling their children. They wanted to live in a country where they could raise their children in accordance with their Christian beliefs.  So they came to The United States.  The Romeikes were initially given asylum, but the Obama administration objected – claiming that German laws that outlaw homeschooling do not constitute persecution.  Obama’s administration essentially decided that the relationship America had with Germany was more important than the individual beliefs of the citizens who wished to flee a system they did not wish to participate in.  Obama’s administration built their case against the Romeikes by saying,  “The goal in Germany is for an open, pluralistic society,” the Justice Department wrote in a legal brief last year. “Teaching tolerance to children of all backgrounds helps to develop the ability to interact as a fully functioning citizen in Germany.”On Monday, the Supreme Court declined to hear the Romeike’s appeal siding with the Justice Department and Germany – paving the way for the Christian family of eight to be deported.”

http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2014/03/03/team-obama-wins-fight-to-have-christian-home-school-family-deported/

Now this story:

An actress who was formerly quiet about her political beliefs has come out against what she calls “a progressive agenda” in America’s public schools.  (It’s about time.)Sam Sorbo, the wife of “Hercules” actor Kevin Sorbo, homeschools her children and recently began publicly writing about the topic of education.“Of course school is the most political, because that’s where the progressive agenda is coming out the strongest and the hardest,” said Sorbo.“You people who send your kids to school, you have no idea what the schools are doing to their fresh little brains, in brainwashing them into this progressive, liberal—it’s antithetical to America, the agenda that they’re being indoctrinated with,” Sorbo said.

 http://blog.heritage.org/2014/03/02/hollywood-actress-public-schools-brainwashing-kids-progressive-agenda/

While it is good to see people pushing back against the government schools in America, the problem is not isolated to only The United States—it is a global problem.  When it is mentioned that progressivism has infected the schools of the world, it is in all actuality socialism and communism that those schools are teaching.  The Romeikes fled Germany hoping to gain freedom in America, but were turned away by the Obama administration who otherwise promotes “open boarders.”  Obama supports illegal immigration, he supports tolerance of other cultures—until the culture is a Christian one looking to flee the international grip that progressives have on public schools.  The Justice Department is seeking to preserve that grip, which is why they singled out this simple family to make a point to all others considering such a move.

Some high-profile Hollywood types are beginning to smell what’s been cooking for a long time, people like Sam Sorbo.  Some of us, particularly at this site of Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom have been against public education for a long time and it is refreshing to see people finally starting to stand up for themselves and calling out public education and the commitment to progressive politics which is taught there.  But we are far deeper down the well than a lot of people care to admit to.

It should be obvious by Obama’s actions what the goal of public education is not just in America, but across the world—they wish to capture the minds of every child born and to reshape those minds into compliant government drones obedient to the state governed by The United Nations.  This is why Obama cares about the feelings of Germany instead of feeling honored that the Romeikes wished to trade away all they ever knew for a land of the unknown in America so that they could remove their children away from the progressive teaching of the world’s public schools controlled by government.

The crazed progressives know that so long as homeschooling options exists that some children will escape from their grip and will grow up to become exceptional—and compared to the mindless drones from the public schools, the imbalance will be obvious—and the government schools will be viewed as failures.  The only way the progressive model can succeed over the long haul is to remove the value judgment of an option so that children have nowhere but the government to instruct them—superseding their parents.

This is why Obama injected his administration into the poor situation of the Romeikes, and the Supreme Court played right along with the global deception.  (I heard one commentator on Fox mystified that the Supreme Court ruled in this way since most of them were appointed by “conservative” presidents.  The “Bush” presidents were not conservative—they were both progressive types—for the record.  Ronald Reagan was a born again progressive espousing conservative value at the end of his life, but spent all the years’ prior sympathetic to socialist, communist, and progressive causes.  The Supreme Court is not a conservative body of legal analysis)  Thank goodness people like Sam Sorbo are finally speaking out against public education because if more people knew what was really going on in public education more people would be clearly upset.  The Obama administration would not be so confident to deport the Romeikes while at the same time advocating the merits of illegal immigration for every drug dealer, whore, and child molester who wishes to cross America’s boarders and plant themselves into neighborhoods in every city of The United States.  Out of all those people, the Romeikes are a far greater threat to Obama and the country of Germany because of what they represent—a resistance to the progressive attack on the children of the world—an attack against their minds—and future.  The level of attention given to the Romeikes by supposedly the most powerful man in the world—President Obama is validation that everything and more said by Sam Sorbo is true and far more dangerous than anybody is yet ready to admit.

These are not good people in public education.  They may individually be nice neighbors, trustworthy baby sitters, and reasonable people who seem harmless.  But what they are teaching children is the real danger—collectivism driven by communist influence planted smack dab in the middle of The United State Department of Education.  The Romeikes exposed this attempt and the Justice Department prosecuted them for it.  And that is all the evidence anybody really needs to understand what the real intention of public education is—and it is not to teach kids to read, write, and do arithmetic.  It is to change them away from what a parent would otherwise raise, into a servant of the state and an eventual empty carcass lacking the individuality of the pronoun “I” on a path of world-wide recognition that will only accept the term, “we.”

The Golden Dawn: Seeds of evil from Barbara Bush to Jay Z

This is Part II.  CLICK HERE TO SEE PART ONE.

The fascination people have with Aleister Crowley is the direct result of the modern push for legalized drug use, open and same gender sex, destroyed family values, superstitious religious rituals and a number of ailments that we are suffering from in the modern age.  In addition to calling himself The Beast, Crowley was a communist.  He was so feared that Crowley was banished from Italy by the fascist Mussolini for extreme acts of depravity, and called by his English countrymen as “the most wicked man in the world.”  He was a practitioner of sex magic, in which he used massive orgies to invoke the favor of the gods, so to appease them for good fortune.  Barbara Bush’s mother hung out with Crowley in Paris, and was likely to have been involved in these bizarre sex rituals. Crowley has directly influenced music artists like Jimmy Page, John Lennon and Jay Z—which is just the tip of the iceberg—and he touched the lives of Jack Parsons and L.R. Hubbard just prior to the creation of Scientology.  Hubbard and Parson brought Crowley’s bizarre sex rituals to Pasadena, California through the Cal Tech rocket program and entered the film industry in a big way which is still present to this very day many years after Crowley’s death in 1947.  Those influences only grew over time leading directly to the counter-culture movement of the 1960s colliding in California with the Beatles and Rolling Stones music, ushered into subsequent generations by Led Zeppelin.  Many actors and actresses have involved themselves in the sex orgies of Parson’s OTO church directly linked to Aleister Crowley.  If you have attended a rock concert and lifted your shirt to the musicians on the stage, you have participated just a little in a long-term plan hatched by Crowley at the turn of the 20th Century—and you likely didn’t have any idea.  Aleister Crowley has likely touched every life in the world through the high-profile connections he made throughout his life and global travel that had the single-minded purpose of spreading evil to every human being behind a mask of individual freedom.

Crowley wasn’t evil because he was so damaged by his father’s death at a young age that he turned away from God and sought a path to evil.  He was evil because he purposely sought to sell himself as an extreme individualist inspired by the writings of Nietzsche yet used dark arts to invoke direct help from the spirit world to help him in the world of the living.  His “magick” is a kind of crony capitalism where industrialists look to government to pad their investments from competition—Crowley looked to pad fate and fortune to the acts of the ultraterrestrials—and in many ways he was successful in doing so.  Crowley let into the human world a number of dark enemies to life as we know it, and they are loose in the world as we speak.  So to understand this mess, we must start at the beginning with an organization that many modern rappers are wearing on their clothing and has deep roots into turn of the century literature—Crowley’s first real membership into a group which predates the progressive movement, the communist influx into America, or even his enormous influence into the Thelema religion.

To understand properly the progressive influence of modern-day America it has become obvious that a full understanding of this deeper, darker secret finally be revealed for what it is.  Victorian culture, especially in New England was deeply in love with the “Cambridge Intellectuals” from their home country of England and the membership that William Butler Yeats and Aleister Crowley had with a mysterious secret society.  They yearned to be thought of as members of the Golden Dawn, even if they didn’t completely understand it.  They did like many people do—they played along with the latest and greatest explorations into philosophical experimentation which would eventually give birth to socialism and communism as natural byproducts of these early experiments into the “Golden Dawn.”

By the mid-1890s, the Golden Dawn was well established in Great Britain, with over one hundred members from every class of Victorian society.[7] Many celebrities belonged to the Golden Dawn, such as actress Florence Farr, Irish revolutionary Maud Gonne, Irish writer William Butler Yeats, Welsh author Arthur Machen, English author Evelyn Underhill, and English author Aleister Crowley.

In 1896 or 1897, Westcott broke all ties to the Golden Dawn, leaving Mathers in control. It has been speculated that his departure was due to his having lost a number of occult-related papers in a hansom cab. Apparently, when the papers were found, Westcott’s connection to the Golden Dawn was discovered and brought to the attention of his employers. He may have been told to either resign from the Order or to give up his occupation as coroner.[16] After Westcott’s departure, Mathers appointed Florence Farr to be Chief Adept in Anglia. Dr. Henry B. Pullen Burry succeeded Westcott as Cancellarius—one of the three Chiefs of the Order.

Mathers was the only active founding member after Westcott’s departure. Due to personality clashes with other members and frequent absences from the center of Lodge activity in Great Britain, however, challenges to Mathers’s authority as leader developed among the members of the Second Order.[17]

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hermetic_Order_of_the_Golden_Dawn

Compared to the Thelema followers of Crowley’s much later society, the rituals of the Golden Dawn were comparatively mild—likely to be more what was seen in the Kubrick film referred often at this site—Eyes Wide Shut.  A surprising number of people were involved not all of them sinister—but looking for an advantage in life granted by the gods.  For people who have went to a casino and blew on some dice hoping that “the gods” would grant them fortune with a victory in the roll, what the people in the Golden Dawn society were doing was very similar.  They sought to appease the gods of the spirit world no matter where they came from hoping for an advantage in obtaining more power on earth.  It may have been simple luck in building a legal practice, or a medical firm—it may have been to obtain security for their industrial concerns—whatever the endeavor—they were looking for a helping hand by appeasing spirits to assist them and they turned to the Golden Dawn to achieve it.

The Golden Dawn never really went away—but it is making an extreme comeback coming out of secret society mode and into the light of day.  Recently R&B singer Ciara, displayed in one of her videos a rather extreme support of the order.  It is unlikely that Ciara has much of any idea what goes on in the Golden Dawn other than some sex parties and heavy drug use—but her agents, producers, and other handlers who help her market herself steered her in the proper direction hoping that such actions will bring their efforts good luck from the gods.

http://beginningandend.com/illuminati-shoutout-rb-singer-ciara-promotes-aleister-crowley-in-new-video/

It’s all a lot of nonsense—but what these crazy supporters of Aleister Crowley have in common are political beliefs rooted in collectivism—socialism, Marxism, and out-right communism but deeper than those are beliefs in collective salvation through the act of sacrifice—sacrifice of goodness for the benefit of the many.  There is a tendency for virgin yearnings exploited for the good of a “group.”  When groups of people, particularly in Hollywood culture believe that it is profitable, virtuous, or otherwise positive to see Miley Cyrus parade around in a sexual way onstage throwing off the innocence of her childhood with intoxicated teddy bears dancing behind her, there are subtle members of the old Golden Dawn order and Thelema members who believe that their mass ritual of virgin sacrifice which enters into the bedrooms of virtually every adolescent girl brings to them great appeasement from the gods of hidden dimension.  The actions are designed on the surface to stir up trouble among the religious conservatives of Middle America and capture the minds of their rebellious teenagers into establishing their own identity.  Many of these promoters appear very “libertarian” in their presentations advocating personal sexual liberty, and the ability to abuse drugs.  But the real intent of their mass rituals inspired directly from the work of Aleister Crowley is to make the demons of existence shine on their actions—which they actually believe in.  Behind their actions is the deep-seated old schemes of communism—or rather communal sacrifice for the greater good—in the case of Aleister Crowley—aristocratic communism where he was certainly the high priest at the front of the effort who was the center of the sex orgies that even likely involved Barbara Bush’s mother.

When Victorian society is mentioned, and the progressives which came directly from their social belief system it was communism that branched off from theoretical to political philosophy.  But in regards to religion what they all shared was not a love of Christianity, Buddhism, or any peace-loving thought process describing the afterlife—but hard core human sacrifice if not literally—metaphorically through loss of innocence in a secret society called the Golden Dawn.  These societies would evolve over time into the Thelema order which had a church right in downtown Pasadena, California and would infect the entertainment industry with the left leaning vileness seen today—and it all started in Europe—of course—with the Victorians of intellectual elite—and the desire of the rest of the world to live and think as they do—which is why the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, and the Beatles helped usher in the philosophy of the Golden Dawn in ways that a bunch of robed priests and nude prostitutes could never achieve—global sacrifice and appeasement of the deepest, darkest demons of vile enterprise.

This is just an introduction.  Tomorrow we will explore Ordo Templi Orientis (O.T.O.) (‘Order of the Temple of the East’ or ‘Order of Oriental Templars’) which was an international fraternal and religious organization founded at the beginning of the 20th century. Most of those members undoubtedly leaned politically toward progressive politics and because of that deserve great scrutiny now into their real motivations—as to why they support mass killings in the form of abortion, gay rights, crushing the Christian church, and drug abuse legalization as openly advocated.  The actions are unquestionably evil—now you will understand why and how the dots connect from occult culture into the mainstream.  Sleep well, and come back tomorrow.

Why Compromise is a Dirty Word: Superbowl patriotism and the ad agencies of lately

One of the most striking aspects of the 2014 Superbowl that was grotesquely obvious was the string of patriotism that permeated from the event.  Usually, a month after such sporting events, most people will have long forgotten who won or lost the game.  Yet advertisers spending many millions of dollars in production costs alone produce some of the most creative commercials that will be seen all year which set the pace of marketing for the following year.  Most of those commercials are decided upon well in advance under the careful guidance of agencies that make their recommendations based on lots of statistical behavioral data.  Patriotism was an unannounced theme at this latest Superbowl which is not an accident.  It was seen in the controversial Coke multi-lingual commercial, the Bob Dylan bit for Chrysler and most obviously in the below advertisement for the upcoming movie, Captain America: The Winter Soldier—which plays right into the sense of patriotic recognition that the Superbowl was trying to create.

There were many more examples especially during the pre-game ceremonies—more so than during normal Superbowls–which brought to my mind a theory.  As hated as the Tea Party has been relative to the rest of the world, a lot of people not affiliated with the movement have had their American patriotism questioned.  There is a desire for Michelle Obama, John Boehner and the rest of the RINOS to declare that they are patriotic too, and not statist slugs filled with apathy and corruption.  There are companies who have made deals with politics to become cronies of capitalism and feel guilty about it—so they are using the Superbowl to tell 111.5 million viewers that they are not American enemies, but are as well patriotic and in love with freedom, and their country.  It was a chance to react to the needle movement created by the Tea Party, and statists took advantage of it as if to answer the criticism leveled in their direction.

During the Lakota school levy fights of years past many in my community thought I unfairly kept moving the goal posts further back never accepting the concessions of negotiation that were taking place.  After a few years when the attempts to reach across the aisle were slapped away—there was frustration that I did not move from my position—or that I carried my position further to the right.  That is by strategy.  That same strategy is at play on a larger scale by the Tea Party and the evidence could be seen rather clearly at the 2014 Superbowl.  The patriotism is an appeasement by the statists, crony capitalists, diabolical socialists, and other collectivist organizations to cover themselves in the American flag even as they have built their lives around tearing it apart or disrespecting it.  Their desire to prove that they too are patriotic is driven by the social pressure to answer the criticisms of the Tea Party.

Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh are enormously popular on the radio dial, and Bill O’Reilly—who considers himself patriotic and was the Fox representative handling a difficult President Obama interview before the Superbowl–set the stage for the evening at 4:30 PM on a Sunday afternoon.  All those characters are considered “patriotic” and have large followings.  The Tea Party is certainly larger than the listening audience of Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck but both commentators could be argued to provide daily sustenance for the movement.  Many Tea Party types listen to both radio hosts during the day—and those numbers are upwards of 15 million.

Advertising agencies cannot ignore these hidden statistics.  There is a very large demographic base that considers themselves very patriotic—who listen to Beck, Limbaugh and O’Reilly daily.  There are many more who lean to the right of those entertainers like Alex Jones, Wayne Allyn Root and even writers like me who go further down the rabbit hole of conservativism—self reliance, and personal independence.  Relatively few people consider themselves New York progressives or Los Angeles latte sippers—the appeal of those places is not what it used to be.  Most people between those cities have an inkling of what conservativism is—and it’s not what the Grand Ol’ Party is serving up.

So the entertainment culture is on the defensive—they are trying to prove to Middle America that they are good people who want what’s best for The United States.  But their actions say otherwise.  That is why it is important for the Tea Party to keep moving the goal posts further to the right.  Without question this will cause resentment, but it will also help make the world a better place by not allowing unchecked statists to wave American flags over their heads while they screw us all behind our backs.  Their behavior is the same as the guy who cheats on his wife then tells his wife—“I love you.”  If a man will cheat on his wife, he’ll cheat on his country even when he declares love for both.  His actions speak more loudly than just the cosmetic appearances of patriotism.  A multi-million dollar Superbowl commercial can’t make someone patriotic.  Just like Robert Redford’s appearance in the new Captain America film does not erase his long past with socialist and left-leaning radicals.  He’s just an actor playing a part just like most everyone else in the Superbowl, including Michelle and Barack Obama.

The Tea Party goal posts are proving effective.  Public sentiment is changing for the better—ever so subtly.  But that sentiment cannot be met half-way.  The Tea Party does not need to come off their position to continue the progress.  All that is needed is to remain steadfast and let everyone else come to the Tea Party position.  There is no reason to sacrifice, negotiate, or “compromise” with those statist oriented idiots.  They are in the minority, they are wrong, and they are obligated to right themselves—not for the rest of us to shed away bits of ourselves to make them feel better about their mistakes they have made in their lives.  By holding true, the Tea Party may save the world yet—and a lot of the people living upon it.   But compromise won’t get the job done.

Godzilla the Destroyer: Why Japanese culture wins at business and politics

Large companies strapped with labor union rules have turned to Japan hoping to learn something through Six Sigma or some other borrowed manufacturing method to improve their delivery times and product quality.  But they seldom ever work with spectacular results leaving companies to “cook the books” so to justify their commitment to such programs because the workers are still operating with the same type of mentality that they did before any written procedure.  The Japanese people think differently than other people in the world.  The root of their differences is their firm commitment to Shinto Buddhism passed down to their culture through their Samurai history.  To understand a bit of Shinto Buddhism one must understand the nature of what Shinto is.  The most modern example of Shinto to Japanese culture is the films of Godzilla—which is about to get a major upgrade from Warner Brothers in 2014.  See the preview below which has me very, very excited.  I love Godzilla—King of the Monsters!

Godzilla’s allegiance and motivations have changed from film to film to suit the needs of the story. Although Godzilla does not like humans,[38] it will fight alongside humanity against common threats. However, it makes no special effort to protect human life or property much the way Japanese people see the world [39] and will turn against its human allies on a whim. It is not motivated to attack by predatory instinct: it doesn’t eat people,[25] and instead sustains itself on radiation[40] and an omnivorous diet.[36][41] When inquired if Godzilla was “good or bad”, producer Shogo Tomiyama likened it to a Shinto “God of Destruction” which lacks moral agency and cannot be held to human standards of good and evil. “He totally destroys everything and then there is a rebirth. Something new and fresh can begin.”[25]  Godzilla represents Japanese culture and their ability to deal with major tragedy and give rebirth to their country over and over again.  It is in this resiliency that the Japanese people find they are one of the most productive countries in the world—and able to embrace capitalism with a warm support that has caused their economy to swell.  Per capita, they are among the most productive people in existence.  Below are just a few attributes and interesting facts about Japanese culture.

Japanese children clean their schools every day for a quarter of an hour with teachers. This led to the emergence of a Japanese generation who is modest and keen on cleanliness.

* Any  Japanese citizen who has a dog must carry special bags to pick up dog droppings. Hygiene and their eagerness to address cleanliness is part of Japanese ethics.

* A hygiene worker in Japan is called “health engineer” and can command salary of USD 5000 to 8000 per month, and a  cleaner is subjected to written and oral tests!!

* Japan does not have any natural resources, and they are exposed to hundreds of earthquakes a year, but this has not prevented its becoming the second largest economy in the  world.

* In just ten years Hiroshima returned to what it was economically vibrant before the fall of the atomic bomb.

* Japan prevents the use of mobile phones in trains, restaurants and indoors.

* For first to sixth primary year Japanese students must learn ethics in dealing with people.

* Even though one of the richest people in the world, the Japanese do not have servants. The parents are responsible for the house and children.

* There is no examination from the first to the third primary level because the goal of education is to instill concepts and character building.

* If  you go to a buffet restaurant in Japan you will notice people only eat as much as they need without any waste because food must not be wasted.

* The rate of delayed trains in Japan is about 7 seconds per year!!
The Japanese appreciate the value of time and are very punctual to minutes and seconds.

* Children in schools brush their teeth (sterile) and clean their teeth after a meal at school, teaching them to maintain their health from an early age.

* Japanese students take half an hour to finish their meals to ensure proper digestion because these students are the future of Japan.

The Japanese focus on maintaining their own culture.
Therefore. . . .

* No political leader or a prime minister from an Islamic nation has ever visited Japan – not the Ayatollah of Iran, the King of Saudi Arabia or even a Saudi Prince!!

Years ago when I was younger I worked at Cincinnati Milacron as a lathe machine rebuilder, and on my tool box where my co-workers had pictures of naked women, cars, and sports figures, mine had a photo of The Millennium Falcon and a list of the 9 Ways of the Samurai taken from Miyamoto Musashi’s epic book called The Book of Five Rings.  They are as follows:

  1. Do not think dishonestly.

  2. The Way is in training.

  3. Become acquainted with every art.

  4. Know the Ways of all professions.

  5. Distinguish between gain and loss in worldly matters.

  6. Develop intuitive judgment and understanding for everything.

  7. Perceive those things which cannot be seen.

  8. Pay attention even to trifles.

  9. Do nothing which is of no use.

I studied and studied and studied those words, and read Miyamoto Musashi’s book over and over again—I still do.  The book means so much to me that I gave a copy of it to both of my son-in-laws so that they could learn how to be a proper man with those basic foundations.  Godzilla is the monster embodiment of all those 9 Ways and is unique to Japanese culture.  They are also the key to why the Japanese are so epically successful while other aspects of world culture struggles.

I don’t agree with everything the Japanese do—for instance they are gross collectivists.  But the 9 Ways of the Samurai are something that should come out of American culture and the cowboy lore of our foundation rather than the Samurai of Japan.  But what I do admire is that they have a value system which they preserve, and those values show up in their economy.  You don’t hear of labor unions ruining the Japanese people—they wouldn’t put up with it—because their Shinto Buddhist belief system would prevent them from adhering to union rules in the fashion so prevalent in the United States or communist countries.  The movie monster Godzilla is the embodiment of their belief system, the destructive nature of terror mixed with the life renewing force of rebirth.  To them, rebirth is an opportunity to correct things and live again, where in the West it is something to be terrified of, and avoided.  Godzilla is their way of dealing with the bombing of Hiroshima, and most recently the tsunami that caused such havoc over much of their country.  In Japan, they embrace fear, death, and sorrow with a boldness which allows them to get right back on their feet again and keep producing—because their value system holds them together.

American businesses have tried to study the Japanese with the hope that they could copy off their paper without adopting their way of thinking.  I watched labor disputes end Cincinnati Milacron while I worked there and read Musashi’s quotes as workers protested the loss of their jobs.  I used to contemplate that the people I worked with were fools not in touch with the Way of life—the Way of a living force for good and bad.  The Japanese tap into this energy and make vibrant economies with a land mass the size of most states in America.  The miracle of their society is within those 9 Samurai Ways.  But their mythology is most impressively—and metaphorically present in the movie monster Godzilla—a creature from the distant past—victimized by mankind’s destructive trends—only to become a destroyer of all that is oppressive—in a process that is life-renewing…instead of considered traditionally destructive.
