Why ISIS Terrorists Want to Kill Americans: What it means to eat from the Tree of Life

I have listened to countless hours of talk radio and watched many segments on television, read many articles from the mainstream press and all have missed the mark in identifying why San Bernardino assassins Syed Farok and his wife Tashfeen Malik dropped off their six month old child at a grandmother’s house telling the unsuspecting woman that they were going to the doctor, neglecting to give any hints that they would probably never return—no final goodbyes to their child or parents, no hint of what was to come. Then to get back in their car and go to the government office where Farok worked to kill 14 people and wound many others in what they knew would become an international incident of terror. But why–how could that possibly have been justified in their minds to give up so much and to bring so much hurt to others if they were such devoted Muslims who read from the Quran so intently—supposedly a book of peace?

The answer is a rather disturbing one, and it cannot be reasoned with by fancy appeasement speeches and psychological evaluations. But it does explain why Barack Obama sympathizes with terrorism and why the political left seems to take similar positions against America as the San Bernardino shooters did. Ironically the answer is within the 2014 movie Noah by Darren Aronofsky—in how progressive types interpret Biblical events and the type of maniacal behavior that can sometimes be associated with religion. I’m one who enjoyed Noah by Aronofsky. I like Aronofsky’s work, particularly Pi, Requiem for a Dream and The Wrestler, so I gave Noah a chance, and immediately recognized within it distinct elements not just from the book of Genesis, but the Book of Enoch—which is a kind of deleted scenes group of stories from the Bible. Aronofsky certainly intended to shake up the foundations of the viewing public by throwing The Book of Enoch into the traditional story of Genesis—and I thought it was a pretty good idea to combine action film elements with the classic story to form a unique mythology. The response from the religious community was brutal and Aronofsky was deeply criticized. The film did pretty well at the global box office and was an ambitious project which I enjoyed. But of course there is more to it—as there always is.

In Aronofsky’s Noah, the biblical character was a bit of a madman following the will of the Creator with a maniacal ambition that could have easily been interpreted as insane. There are many hints to a time before Noah through his grandfather who lives atop a mountain protected by the fallen angels known as The Watchers. This grandfather Methuselah was played by Anthony Hopkins quite brilliantly and obviously possessed a Merlin like quality directly inherited from Enoch. Methuselah lived the longest of the Noah family at 969 years which is interesting. I happen to believe quite emphatically that the Bible has many missing chapters and what has been presented to the public at large through the churches over time are only the pacifist passages, and not the whole work—only the parts that would placate the masses. So I enjoyed very much the back story elements of Genesis within the movie Noah. This is quite a study in itself, but lets not get off track, the purpose of this article is to understand the rationalization behind terrorism and how religion can provoke such extremism. It could be said that many of the characters in Noah were radicals in their own way, Noah for building an Ark based on a vision from the Creator leading his family to safety through the end times for a rebirth of civilization, and Noah’s Tubal-cain who had an almost Ayn Rand concept of mankind—which I actually agreed with. In Aronofsky’s version of Noah Russell Crow’s self sacrifice as the classic Biblical character was an environmental one that very neatly pressed in the modern Green Movement into the film’s message as Tubal-can played by Ray Winstone was a pro man type of capitalist. I enjoyed all the various perspectives even though I don’t agree with much of it. I noticed the obvious Hollywood politics quickly which of course spilled over into the Obama Climate Summit in Paris.

Leading up the San Bernardino shootings Obama and his friends were in Paris which is still recovering from acts of ISIS terrorism of their own and declared that global warming was the greatest menace facing our world. If you really get to the meat of what they believe, they are not unlike Noah in Aronofsky’s movie. They want to erase mankind from the earth and return the world back to nature—so from their perspective, global warming is the greatest threat—because they don’t like the achievements of mankind. To Obama and his progressive friends, they have radicalized their foundations of social communism and economic Marxism into a new religion centering on the environment, which ties directly to the movie Noah—who believed he was not being saved to keep mankind alive, but to save the animals of the earth from Tubal-cain’s vile superiority as a species of man. In typical Christian understanding the moral of Genesis was a combination of Tubal-cain and Noah, but in Aronofsky’s interpretation, it was directed at the environmentalists who have a great desire to start a new religion of earth worship making the whole planet a kind of eternal Garden of Eden. Keep that in mind.

As anyone who has read the Quran knows, it is essentially another version of the Biblical Old Testament–it shares many of the same characters as it’s Christian counterpart and I believe with that book as I do with the Bible that the chapters were put together by former emperors and religious leaders to control their populations with stories conducive with “service”—so there are missing elements that will likely never be recovered but through myth and legend. This is the book that many of these modern terrorists are gravitating to, and with a singular focus such as what Syed Farok obviously displayed—where peripheral concerns were ignored, much like the prophets from the Quran assumed that they were the hand of god doing the work of a higher purpose even if it meant an end to the human race. If taken literally, the characters from the Old Testament and the Quran were extremely self-sacrificial and functioning from their unique connection to their deities. To the outside world this appears quite insane, but to them, it is justified.

Now enter the communist spread from the Soviet Union that is behind the current environmental concerns and the Islamic caliphate which has adopted various degrees of Marxism as a means toward collectivism to assimilate more closely with Allah. The goal of such assimilation is to recognize that one’s spirit belongs to Allah and that whatever he wishes for us, we must perform. To them the villain of Islam is the kind of mentality that Tubal-cain exhibited. Of course Tubal-cain is the West, Israel, the United States, Europe and all places that have elements of capitalism within their cultures—because capitalism is the religion of “man,” not of the “Creator” whatever name is placed upon it.

Viewed in this context things make a lot more sense—politicians like Obama use global warming as a way to attack western ways and the Tubal-cain nature of mankind—the capitalism of the United States. Radical Islam uses the prophet heroes of the Quran to do the same, their motive is to show Allah that they are pure in spirit and not attached to the evils of capitalism—that their values of self-sacrifice are paramount and worthy of an eternal walk in the Garden of Eden—that they don’t identify with the paradox of knowledge of good and evil, but that they eat from the “Tree of Life.”

I’ve read all these books—many times actually, and am 100% sure that when Syed Farok and his wife Tashfeen Malik dropped off their six month old child at grandmother’s house forever that they weren’t emotional about the issue, and that they didn’t feel bad lying to family members about what they were about to do. I would go so far to suggest that they purposely kept their eye on the higher goal of appeasing Allah because they justified their lives as eating from the Tree of Life-not the Tubal-cain based capitalism that corrupts mankind from the perspective of the Marxist. And thus, you have the reason that Obama cannot condemn Islam, and why global warming is the greatest threat to civilization. It’s not mankind that they are protecting, but mother earth and they share with radical Islam the belief that the capitalist West is the shared villain of their religious doctrines and that all of them are willing to sacrifice their life in the here and now for the benefits of an eternal afterlife with the “father.” And if you are a president with daddy issues like Obama is, an everlasting father in the clouds of heaven is an appealing idea. What he shares with the terrorist Syed Farok is the desire to end capitalism and all the Tubal-cain’s of existence for the might of a savor only written about in books ultimately controlled by churches and politics reflecting a fragmented past not conducive with the ambitions of America.

The goal of the terrorist of course whether it is the literal attempts by radicals like Syed Farok or politicians like Obama who obviously sympathizes with terror acts as his friend Bill Ayers from Chicago shares much in ideology with Farok—they intend to strike fear into mankind to force them to give up individual freedoms in favor of collective enterprise. And to their rational, if people have to die to serve the greater good of their maniacal deities, then so be it. They do so with their eyes off this terrestrial existence toward a greater good defined by their religions, whether that religion is Islam, or the more modern Mother Earth worship. All those ideologies share a common past one that spans the centuries. More recently it is rooted in communism, but it spans back further toward the desire of ancient rulers to keep their subjects under submission through religion that all these beliefs were fostered. If taken correctly many of the lost books of the Bible and the Quran, there would likely be different values expressed, but we’ll never know. Aronofsky played with the idea a bit in Noah, but ultimately carried the message of his film toward the values of his dinner time friends around Hollywood—the religion of conservation—and the desire to reacquaint themselves with the Garden of Eden as agents of light. Syed Farok and his wife obviously felt so strongly in their actions against the villainous West that they were willing to sacrifice everything to terrorize that representation of Tubal-cain into submission to the collectivism of Allah—even if it meant never seeing their child again.

But they all have it wrong, Aronofsky, Farok, Obama, and all the church leaders who edited these religious texts for the purpose of social control. Man wasn’t meant to stay in a Garden of Eden built by a creator. Man is the creator, and it is the task of civilization to build a Garden of Eden for each and every one of us to live within. Because when we finally peel away all the mysteries of quantum mechanics we will find that the creator wasn’t out there somewhere, but always inside. As Jesus said, “the Kingdom of God is all around us but men do not see it.” That statement didn’t mean that men were to be graduated from only to reconcile through death with the creator of all things. It was intended to evolve mankind into a true understanding—and the reason that men do not see the Garden of Eden in their own lives is because they are listening to all the wrong sources. Go to Trump Tower in Manhattan and you will see the Garden of Eden, the Kingdom of God—the Tree of Life. You will see the gates of heaven built through capitalism and the morality of productivity for the first time in human history. And that is why Syed Farok is a villain of epic proportions rooted in a medieval religion that is outdated and manipulated through the ages toward collectivism by power-hungry rulers who wanted nothing else but to control the masses to their selfish desires for terrestrial concerns.

For those who want to know my source material for this article, consult the metaphorical Tree of Life. The rest of these idiots are still eating from the Tree of Knowledge and they weren’t supposed to.

Ruger’s Plan to Help the NRA: Using Second Call Defense to help stop Jihad at American borders

Fortunately, most Americans understand the situation, on Black Friday 2015 a record was shattered as there were 185,000 background checks from people buying firearms. That averages out to roughly 2 checks every second. And those Americans weren’t buying guns to hunt deer. Hopefully, many of those guns were from Ruger who is donating $2 for every Ruger sold between 2015 and 2016 intending to raise $4 million dollars for the NRA. I did my part and bought a new Ruger, and I’m very proud of it. In spite of the government insisting every couple of minutes that more gun control is needed to slow down the violent mass shootings erupting all over the country, the only real solution to the mismanagement of the social affairs that have contributed to the violence is more guns carried by responsible people, not less.

After the San Bernardino shooting on December 2nd 2015 Obama went straight to the airwaves to proclaim the need for more gun control and made a point to declare that other countries don’t have the problem of gun violence that America has. He failed to say why. Most of the rest of the world has terrible poverty and severe gun control restrictions and their people are mass migrating from those places trying to get into the United States. They aren’t immigrating to America because they like their homes. All is not well in the world, so Obama’s comparison is out-of-touch and extremely naive. He could only make such a global comparison by ignoring many facts, dangerously to his own detriment in judgment—which is obviously extremely flawed. America is a superior place to live, and guns help make it that way. Obama clearly doesn’t connect the dots. Because there are two things that are common to many of these mass shootings over the last couple of years—most of the shootings involve young people fresh out of their progressive educations. Second many of them are related to radical Islamic behavior. Fewer guns empowers these demographic groups toward terrorism—it doesn’t deter them.

The husband and wife shooter in San Bernardino recently were clearly Islamic radicals stoked into a froth of terrorism by fellow Jihadist activists. The situation was so embarrassing to the government that the wife had been permitted into the country on a work visa passing the Homeland Security check, then marrying a U.S. citizen whom she likely instigated into a Jihadist conversion. It was astonishing as of this writing that there was not yet a picture of the wife produced anywhere on the Internet. Surely there were some, but the authorities avoided putting her picture up because she represents a new level to the prospect of terror, the conversion of devout Muslims to Jihad through the power of sex. Without question, she is not alone working now with the United States. Obama cannot deny it— or anybody else. They propose gun control for one of two reasons; they have either promoted these extremists to come into the United States hoping to spread a Middle Eastern caliphate, or to cover the follies of their own terrible mismanagement as government officials. It is either deliberate promotion of these terrorist attacks or the result of gross incompetence. Given Obama’s social position against Israel, his reluctance to name Islamic terrorism by name, and his tendency as a foreign raised child to view America as an imperialist empire—that speculation as to his loyalty has reasonable traction to consider insurgency. His insistence on Syrian refugees entering the United States points to possibly thousands of additional terrorists raising more home-grown radicals just like this husband and wife team. These insurgents plan long and patiently. They fully intend the death of America like a long time family pet being taken to the vet to be euthanized. They say nice things to our ears, but their intentions are to woe us to sleep before the injection takes place.

Given all those raw facts it is clear that in either case, our government has been grossly incompetent. The terrorist husband in San Bernardino was a government worker, the investigators were government employees, the Homeland Security that allowed all this radical behavior to foster were government employees. All the freedoms we gave up, Constitutionally guaranteed, did not prevent the attack from occurring, so what was the point of it all? What’s the point of the HSA, the TSA, the FBI, the CIA or any of them if they couldn’t keep an online dating service from sending a girl from Saudi Arabia to an American born Muslim to ruin his mind with sex and radicalism until he was ready to shoot up an office building while maintaining a bomb factory at his home in full view of his neighbors—who were shushed into silence for fear of being labeled “prejudice.” Government incompetence is at the heart of every issue, so the obvious conclusion is that they cannot be trusted.

That is why gun sales are up, because normal Americans see the writing on the wall and they know they need to protect themselves. If an active civil war between factions of political ideology must break out, then the fault is on the government for failing to protect our private property from potential terrorists. We have the Second Amendment as a back-up–the way it was always designed, to take matters into our own hands if government proves itself to be so grossly inadequate. It is good and highly encouraged that all Americans obtain a concealed carry permit and began making themselves active resistance to this impending terrorism within our borders. Ruger is doing their part in offering to boost the power of the NRA with a donation for every firearm sold during this upcoming year, so if you’re planning to buy one, make it a Ruger.

One of the most exciting things about a possible Donald Trump presidency is that he is very pro Second Amendment and has a plan to make concealed carry permits viable in all 50 states. So if you get a concealed carry permit in Ohio, it would be good in California and Hawaii—which would be wonderful. If there had been armed people in that government building, those two terrorists could not have emptied so many rounds into innocent people. Some gun carrying protectors could have shot back ending the dispute right then and there. There may have still been some killed or injured, but the number would be far less. The response to these terrorist threats cannot be passivity, and gun restrictions. It has to be the opposite, more guns and expanded conditions for which private people carry them.

Of course this all points back to why I am now a recruiter for Second Call Defense. If you are going to carry a firearm and you find yourself in a self-defense shooting—say some Jihadist nut job came into your place of business or a fine restaurant you were taking your wife to for a nice dinner and these scum bags come in to spread their intentions of a global caliphate—and you shoot them—you will have to defend yourself from the same government that let those idiots roam free—that same government that refused to publish the picture of a young Saudi woman who used sex to convert the mind of a peaceful Muslim into a radical Jihadist. So you have to protect yourself from that government—because they will be looking for a straw man for their incompetence. Second Call Defense takes that ability away from them. First you shoot the terrorist saving as many people as you can, then you call Second Call Defense and let them handle the government investigation into the matter protecting you and your property from further incursions of blame. Just as Barack Obama took the side of Trayvon Martin in the George Zimmerman case in Florida putting the shooter at a severe legal disadvantage in the process, you don’t want the same thing to happen to you if you put down a terrorist Jihadist that the government let into the country to fulfill some political goal they have at our expense. If that happens, be sure to let Second Call Defense handle the case. Just use my name in the redemption code when you sign up and you will get the first month free. I wouldn’t put my name on something like this if I didn’t think it would help people and help spread the use of firearms in these types of cases.

Ruger specifically is one of my favorite firearms manufactures. I absolutely love my Vaquero; it is machined to perfection and is just an astonishingly wonderful product. I have shot it nearly a thousand times over the last couple of months and it gives me great pleasure to stand at my workbench in the garage and clean it back to its original finish after each shooting session. It is a wonderfully American thing to do as I listen to talk radio and listen to conservative discussions free of liberal sentimentality while cleaning a very nice firearm after a hard day of shooting, carefully, with great craftsmanship—to use an array of tools to care for something that is fun recreationally, but can also defend your property from the fools of the world—which are numerous. As I clean that gun I think of how special we are in the United States to have those privileges—we are probably the only place that has such an ability—free speech, free access to the finest firearms in the world, free from unreasonable searches and seizer—but it is all those rights that these terrorists are attacking. Their military objective is to erode our freedoms with terrorism, to force America to overreact into accepting gradually bigger government and much more restriction—like what terrorists achieved after 9/11. But we have to stop that game in its tracks right now. We have to give them the opposite. We need gun sales to spike; we need more people openly carrying them, and we need to make it easier for them to carry guns in more places. That is the only solution to the gross government mismanagement to the current Jihadist threats. And toward that aim, Ruger is a good place to begin fighting back. Second Call Defense is the next.

A Review of ‘Crippled America’: The bargain of Donald Trump, my dream presidential candidate

I started on Donald Trump’s new book, Crippled America during Thanksgiving morning 2015 about two hours before the Macy’s parade and ended about an hour and a half after, just before our lunchtime feast. It wasn’t a very big book and was an easy read. It was written so people with very basic reading skills would have no trouble with it. For the first 25 pages I couldn’t help but think that Trump probably dictated the whole book to somebody because it sounded an awful lot like his campaign speeches, of which I’ve listened to quite a lot of. I didn’t anticipate that I’d learn very much new about Trump that I didn’t already know. However, by the time I closed the book just before the turkey was placed on our table, I felt refreshed and happy that such a guy was running for presidential office. I have been a Trump supporter since his campaign speech in June at Trump Tower so I was already in his camp. Leading up to his announcement it has been my strong feeling for years, going all the way back to Ross Perot, that successful business people needed to be in government, not the unproven lawyers that we have now—so Trump as president makes sense to me. After reading Crippled America it was clear to me that Trump should be handing these books out at campaign events, because it turned out to be a pretty good book, especially the second half after he warmed up a bit. The first half was pretty typical to his campaign platform, but the second half delved more into the man himself, the character behind the drama, the hype, and the brand—to the person who just wants to restore the American nation from the dilapidated mess that it currently is.

As I closed the book I understood Donald Trump. He was still that 28-year-old developer taking on impossible projects that nobody else could touch and turning them into marvels the world would gawk at. Trump isn’t nearly the egoist that his persona projects, he’s a very passionate developer who just likes to make things. His run for president is not about power or prestige, he already has those things. What he wants to do is restore America like he has so many failed properties around the world. It’s a massive restoration project that has his natural inclinations salivating to see if he can pull it off in his final years of life—the perfect period to an American story that he has been gloriously successful at writing. Trump is not the kind of man who is happy just dining his way into the sunset with a beautiful family and wealth beyond measure. He wants to be in the trenches fighting, and at the stage of life that he’s in currently only the restoration project of President of the United States suits his polished tastes. He has everything a man could want—literally, except one thing—completion of the greatest challenge perhaps the world has ever seen. America is a crippled superpower heavily in debt, defeated in spirit because of over 20 years of gross government mismanagement, and a country that has lost its global respect. Trump intends quite sincerely to turn all that around within a few terms as president. He even says in the book that he plans to actually accomplish more in the first 90 days than Obama has in 7 years. And I believe him, especially after reading his book, because he does get into details on how to do it—complete with examples.

Politically it was the usual stuff, discussions about the economy, taxes, the state of the nation, infrastructure, foreign policy and what he thinks he can do that’s better than everyone else. In that way Trump’s book sounds like Ben Carson’s, and Hillary Clinton’s. But there’s more to it—another layer that was not so obviously camouflaged. There is a swagger to Trump that indicates he could actually pull it off. With every other political candidate and commenter alike who have written such books—from Glenn Beck to Rand Paul—and I’ve read them all—nobody but Trump stands a chance of accomplishing even a small portion of the promises—because the political system itself is set up to prevent any action—and to feed the shadow government of lobbyists and political donations which essentially fuel all the politics of the Beltway.

Trump has a plan for just about everything and he has the confidence based on his reputation to pull off 100% of what’s in his book. I was actually impressed by his swagger, which is saying something. I have personally hired hundreds of people so I’ve interviewed perhaps thousands over the last decade and I’ve developed quite a bullshit detector. I know when someone presents an inflated résumé to me, and I know when raw passion is displayed for the hiring. Trump is raw passion with an understated résumé of which Crippled America is essentially. Getting to know Trump becomes much more evident toward the last third of the book where he talks about all his building projects over the years and when you realize just how much he’s accomplished in just three decades, its pretty earth shattering. Just considering what he did from 1974 with the Commodore Hotel in New York City to the opening of Trump Tower in 1983 is mind-blowing as an individual measurement, with just a loan from his father to take on the world of real estate in New York City which is arguably on of the most complicated and expensive in the world. He is an impressive figure radiating with confidence which is obvious in every word of his book. Based on his résumé and how he communicated it, I’d have to hire him just to see if he could do it. Our last president was a community organizer and he ran the country with that strength in his wheel house. Obama gets excited about Ferguson riots, but could care less about $19 trillion in debt. Bush the younger ran the country as a rich daddy’s boy—which he was. His dad wished he had completed the mission in Iraq, but didn’t so the boy finished the job—to his own detriment. Following the orders of his daddy was in Bush’s wheel house so he did so in that fashion. Clinton during the 90s was a free partying womanizer associated with criminals, drug smuggling and murder as governor of Arkansas. So he ran the country as if it were the mob. And that’s pretty much what we got. There hasn’t been anybody like Trump—ever. He’s successful, accomplished, and at the top of his game—and he’s even more confident than I think most people can even register. Out of all the candidates in this century or the last, Trump is the most poised candidate ever to put his name on a ticket. We have to give him a chance or we are just stupid as a nation, because he is certainly the most qualified presidential candidate.

And that’s where Crippled America gets interesting. Trump knows why the media is against him, and why the political parties are terrified of him. He’s more aware of it than even he’ll let on in his speeches—it comes out in his writing. When he is given time and a free stump without opposition he can really string together a number of complicated thoughts about matters. He’s much smarter than he lets on—that much is very clear. If Trump becomes president the entire political system falls apart. He has been a powerful political contributor and they loved him then. But now he’s crossing over into their world and he knows where the bodies are buried—and they don’t like it. The political class has been “apathetic” to say the least in the United States. They have made good livings for themselves doing nothing. They know if Trump is elected than there will be other business types who follow and a chain reaction will start that will end their way of life. Business people will begin to enter public office from the local school board president to the governors of states. The term “politician” will take on an entirely new meaning. Trump plans to run the White House like he does his businesses and that scares K-Street immensely. They will be exposed and Trump will use that leverage to get the arm twisting he needs done accomplished.

As I closed the book and thought about all the things I’m grateful for—which is a lot—I think for the first time ever I had hope for our political future. I’ve voted for people before who I thought might shake things up a bit and accomplish a nice thing or two. But Trump is offering to revamp America as a restoration project from Social Security, private sector driven health care, to making concealed carry a statewide option—like getting a driver’s license. I think I’d vote for Donald Trump just because he wants to make concealed carry good in all 50 states. I’m surprised he doesn’t talk more about that issue—because it’s a big one. He wants to simplify the tax code and demand respect from our trade imbalances. He planes to renew our infrastructure and dramatically increase our economic growth. His presidency would be a trend setting endeavor that would change all elections in the future. So for me the turkey tasted just a bitter knowing that Trump is running for president. And given his polling numbers in spite of everything that’s been thrown at him he has a great chance of winning. The political establishment however is fighting for its very life and will do anything it can to keep Trump out of the White House. The difference between my hopes for change in the past and this one is that I think Trump is just getting started and he knows how to work through that minefield and still come out of the other side dancing through the fire. Any apprehension I had about Trump was erased with Crippled America. Using his book as a résumé there really is no other option. He is the most accomplished candidate in the field to do what he says, and he’s most poised to put a stop to the current political process of fundraising and K-Street shadow governments.   If he did just 1% of what he promised in Crippled America he’d go down as the greatest president in the history of the world. But as I cut the turkey on my plate I realized that he had the potential to accomplish all 100%. And that is really something to smile about.

How to Peacefully Destroy ISIS: Why America created the terrorist group and what to do about it

Just for clarification, the United States created ISIS. While Russia and Iran supported Bashar al-Assad’s regime of terror in Syria, the West, Turkey, and the Gulf States supported removing him. So America essentially supplied the weapons of war to the rebels against Assad to defeat him. What occurred in the aftermath was ISIS. That is why to this very day America cannot join Russia in teaming up with Assad to fight ISIS, because that would be far too embarrassing. The Obama Administration made a serious blunder and there is no going back now. For proof that the U.S. Government wanted ISIS to emerge in Syria watch this Reality Check from Ben Swann, who has a new job at CBS 46.

Good job Ben Swann, now watch a video he did two years ago predicting the creation of ISIS. Pay very close attention to the little boy singing approximately 6 minutes in. There are thousands of kids like him and there will be absolutely no way to reason with that child poisoned with extremism. That is the fight that is before us, created by Barack Obama’s horrible mismanagement of the stand-off with Syria—remember when he drew a line in the sand, Assad crossed it, then Obama walked back and drew a new line—which Assad crossed again. So Obama along with Republican Senator John McCain sought to supply weapons to the Free Syrian Army to overthrow Assad. But what that army did instead was attack outlying villages and begin to purge Syria and Iraq of Christians, Jews, and invalidate a peaceful exchange by Muslims toward the rest of the world.   Watch closely—this is what the “media” is supposed to be doing—reporting the facts.

Now, there is no way the United States could possibly work with Russia to help Syria against ISIS, because America created ISIS to destroy the current Syrian regime backed by Russia. Do you see the problem dear reader? That is the very definition of the path to hell is paved with good intentions, and hell is quite hot these days. Obama drove us here because he couldn’t read his GPS system, even though it was beeping with alarms the entire time. We now have a severe mess that there is no easy way out of. There is no solution which takes everyone back to peace. The Middle East will never again return to a glory day of Arabs practicing peacefully in the arts and sciences of Aristotle’s brand of Islamic faith. Communism and radicalism are now centerpieces of the Middle East and factions of more severe terrorists are breeding at an extraordinary rate. Little children like the kid in the Ben Swann video are going to grow up and bomb Europe and the United States with increased frequency. War has been declared whether or not we open the mail to read it. They are coming, and we empowered them to do so. If you were smart dear reader you would fire every government official connected to this failure at the very next election. The situation is catastrophically epic.

So here’s what has to happen to rectify the situation. America needs to unleash its oil potential. Currently we are sitting on 285 years of oil and Bill Gates has agreed to pour tens of millions, perhaps billions of R&D dollars into renewable energy yet to be discovered. We should be able to achieve that within 285 years. We could probably do it in 20. So the plan should be to completely cut off the Middle East of oil sales to the U.S.. Saudi Arabia sponsors too much terrorism, and there is really no good way to defeat radicalism in the Middle East so long as good and bad Arabs are plotting against the United States using our dependency on their oil as the leverage mechanism to deal with us. That means we have to cut them off, starve them out, and force them to peaceful negotiations on our terms. They have to want our money otherwise they are unmotivated to deal. Instead, they will continue to use our money and our weapons to fight us. So they need to be choked off—all of them, the entire Middle East. If they are mad at us for our participation in Sykes-Picto, then let them have their land and all the worthless oil on it.

But opening up the oil reserves in America to the point where oil prices would be under $1 a gallon would jump-start our economy again and bring down the global price per barrel everywhere. This would take the wind out of the sails of the only thing the Middle East has by way of economic sustenance. Because of their flirtations with communism, they would not be able to develop any other economical means, and would be forced to face their failed ideology. Their fights would turn on themselves instead of outwardly being united against America and Europe. By completely withdrawing from the region, the United States could take itself out of the debate and leave the red meat to the wolves to fight over. In just a few short decades kids like the one singing in the Ben Swann video would snuff themselves out fighting for the same piece of bread. Oil funds the Dark Ages mentality of ISIS with the belief that they are equal to the developed world outside of their attempted caliphate. But they’re not. Without the United States, they would become like an island of head hunters in New Guinea, isolated and primitive—like they truly are.

I don’t propose letting Israel plunge into possession by the barbarians. We should still support them—they have other economic engines to keep them going, and should be a lesson to Jordan, Syria, and Iran on how to conduct a proper economy. Eventually when the money runs out—which it will, the oil barons in Saudi Arabia and at the UAE would be forced to eat out of the hand of America for basic income. Within a few decades those dust pits in the Middle East could be like modern-day Puerto Rico, one category under statehood, and be forced to adopt American policy and capitalism just to survive. That would be good for everyone.

We are at war, forget about the environment. Global warming is a false prophecy advocated by the political left with a religious like fervor. It has no grounding, or basis in reality—it’s just another communist inspired scheme by old hippies to cripple all forms of capitalism in worship to a deity called Mother Earth. Screw mother earth, drill for oil, choke off our enemies from the easy money, and advance civilization off this planet for destinations yet unknown traveling among the stars. It’s stupid to stay on earth. The rest of the planet needs to learn from the United States. China needs to give up on communism. Russia needs to expand its economy and come out of the Soviet era economic beliefs also centered on state controlled economies. Europe needs to give up on socialism including Sweden and Norway. It doesn’t work as well as they prop it up to appear. In a few years their youth will show signs of complete complacency and those are not the type of people who will voyage to Mars resettle that red planet from what will prove to be a history that we share. We are already in World War III. So we need to pull together and do what it takes to win that war, and unlike the weapons of the past, this current one is financial. The best way to defeat the Islamic caliphate is not with troops on the ground, but with opening up American oil reserves to choke off the world with our isolation so they can’t mooch off our wealth any longer—then get mad at us for giving them that help.   Cut them off and live happily ever after.

The kid shown in the video above won’t be reasoned with. He won’t be won over with flowers, or even a show of power. Those Arabs are filled with hate and stupidity and there is no way to deal with them rationally now. Forget the deals with OPEC, forget the meetings with the World Bank to keep oil prices at a certain place to secure the economy of the Middle East. End all those deals and cut off those terrorists so they can’t buy a bag of beans from Russia and Iran let alone nuclear weapons. Take away their oil not through theft or possession. Do it through currency devaluation of the price of oil. If you love mother earth so much, then leave her to her home while we as a human race move out into our own homes. We can come back and visit on Holidays, but as a species, we need to think bigger. We need to advance to space; we need to use up our 285 years worth of dirty oil to destroy those who hate America forcing them to unite with our freedom and style of republic democracy so that when we do move into space, we can all get along for a change. But before we do any of that, we have to understand that we created much of this mess, so now we have to commit to fixing it for everyone’s sake. And we should not listen to the idiots who caused all this in the first place—people like John McCain and Barack Obama. Open up the Keystone Pipeline and drill for oil in New York. If Andrew Cuomo doesn’t like it, send him to Iraq to trade in beads—while the rest of the world moves on under American leadership and a dollar valued by capitalist countries.

What Hillary Clinton has in Common with Adolf Hitler: Salon.com reaches deep for a way to smooth reality

To be fair I even took the below Hitler quote from the very progressive online source, Salon.com so that the readers here can reference it to understand how the other side of these diabolical menaces actually think. Salon even went so far to use a University of Chicago professor to attempt to create doubt about the credibility of Adolf Hitler’s desire to control firearms in German society—which of course led to the tyranny of one of the most vile killers of the 20th century. Salon through their source laughably refers to the much stricter gun control legislation of the Weimar Republic, which preceded Hitler’s rise—which was imposed after WWI. What they failed to mention is that because of the bad economy and the crushing impositions by the allied nations against Germany, the path for Hitler’s rise to power was ushered in because of the extreme oppression which preceded him. Additionally, asking a University of Chicago professor to provide accurate history without muddying it with progressive tripe is like ask a sex addict to speak out against pornography. Salon and the University of Chicago are hopelessly liberal; they may even be politically left of Hillary Clinton who agreed with ruthless dictators that societies should ban firearms and confiscate them for the safety of their nations. Here is what Hitler supposedly said–which is consistent with every ruthless human being to ever face down the masses with a desire to control them with heavy-handed legislation and individual tyranny.

This year will go down in history! For the first time, a civilized nation has full gun registration! Our streets will be safer, our police more efficient, and the world will follow our lead into the future!

Adolf Hitler (1935)

http://www.salon.com/2013/01/11/stop_talking_about_hitler/

Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and almost every other Democrat, socialist, vile progressive and old pot smoking, Pink Floyd loving hippie thinks the same way as Hitler. Isn’t that nice to know that the leaders of the Democratic Party are essentially in line with the likes of Hitler, Stalin, Mao Tse-tung, and Mussolini who all favored gun control of their citizens. Guess what happened to the people in those countries. Let me put it this way; they didn’t get to spend their leisure time watching Monday Night Football at Hooters. Their style of life was barely above that of a dog, sort of like the poor people in North Korea and China—who should be liberated, not admired. Yet the same polices that oppress those people are the same ones that Barack Obama and his assistant Hillary Clinton are so enthusiastic about. Of course Obama has connections to the University of Chicago—where many of his Marxist ideas have evolved from student ranting to community organizing.

Hillary Clinton can’t even be trusted with email, let alone the lives of innocent Americans. We need guns in our lives within America to protect our society from insurgents, like these would-be dictators who rule through executive order and lawyerly manipulation of the placement of words within legal phrases. People who will lie to our faces like Nancy Pelosi did in regard to Obamacare right before Christmas—“we have to sign the law to know what’s inside it.” Or Lois Lerner pleading the fifth over the IRS scandal, and its White House origins. Or Benghazi. Or Fast and Furious. Or the Black Panthers harassing voters at polling places. Or the arming of Syrian rebels. Or the attack on Gaddafi to destabilize the Middle East into an Islamic caliphate. Or the criminal spending into oblivion more debt than all the previous presidents in American history put together—all hidden behind the efforts of racism. Everyone is afraid to criticize these criminal actions because they are activated by a man of color—paralyzing white America from judgment. It’s not criminal to point at these people and declare them to be criminals, insurgents, and hostiles to the American Constitution. The evidence is overwhelming—which is why they seek to destroy the evidence, legislate through executive orders, and coercion of the media—just like what Hillary Clinton’s campaign is doing to the Laugh Factory. Take away the guns of Americans and those people will be completely in charge of your safety—and we know they can’t be trusted. So why would we surrender our guns to them. The Second Amendment isn’t there to allow us to hunt rabbits, or even shoot a Turkey for Thanksgiving. It’s there to keep these government types from getting in their corrupt heads the notion that they can rule through force, because their track record indicates that they are very inclined to the type of tyranny that was evident in the worst of the dictators and emperors of history.

Don’t kid yourself. These are bad people and they want you to surrender. A quick look at all the mass gun shootings around the country up until 2015 including the recent one over the last weekend in Louisiana, and the villains were all young people and Islamic inspired despots—clearly victims of the kind of progressive idiocy that Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton support through public education indoctrination. Yet the intentions always were to ruin those minds to fester the induced violence so that American support for more gun control would be demanded as a natural reaction to curb the incidence of violence. Clinton has often pointed to the Australian gun confiscations as a justification for the path of gun control in the United States. Every tragedy will be exploited with torturous rigor until the Second Amendment is surrendered—which is their game plan. Part of that game plan is to carry us all into a type of Weimar Republic where an overloaded debt destroys the value of our money so that the world can reestablish itself to a new standard of currency. By their time-table a new type of Hitler would have room to emerge from such devastation, and they hope that their Party leader is the one who controls the wheel of power.

Is this saying too much? No, the evidence dictates that honesty be used to approach these matters. We are dealing with ideological zealots who want to destroy the American concept of capitalism and replace it with global socialism. Just look at the donors to the Clinton Foundation. What do those foreign governments want in exchange for that money? They want a seat at the table and a disabled America so that they can compete for a change from the vantage point of socialism. They are like the classic villain who purposely sabotages a superior opponent so that they can have a chance of winning. They must lie, cheat, and steal to survive and to make it easier for them to do these things they have started to disarm America.

Salon of course is in on the scam, they want to “progress” beyond traditional America just as the University of Chicago has desired for several decades now. There are many collective villains and you can easily spot them because they want to do like Hitler has done in the past—support gun control so to enable them to rise to power—because that’s all they really care about anyway—power for power’s sake. Any real student of history knows about the Weimar Republic and how it was established. The same path is being placed before America by the same allies who supported that action against Germany in 1919. Their hope is that they can bring America into the global union and put all nations on an equal footing economically. But before they can do that they have to take our guns, and Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama—along with most of the Democratic Party want exactly what Hitler wanted—gun control so that they could work their deeds without the fear of insurrection. And they’ll play every dirty trick to bring down the United States if that’s what it takes. They are what we term in Constitutional reference as a “domestic enemy” for which we are required to protect our Constitution from—particularly the anti-Federalist Bill of Rights.

168 Working Hours in a Week: Why I hate lazy people–like the guy below

This article isn’t for everyone; it’s directed at the saggy-assed loser below who left me the comment highlighted. To properly answer his comment it will take some time, so I might as well address it for everyone as well as him. In spite of his negative tone and obvious progressive influence concerning the talking points, there are lessons here that many people will find valuable, so maybe this knuckle-dragging, maniacal idiot might serve some purpose in helping others by default. The commenter was obviously upset in my tone for talking about the reasons that the Tri-County area was failing whereas new developments like Liberty Center are thriving, so that is the context. Like most progressive trained people, they don’t deal with the cause of effects, only the effects. In their minds, anybody who doesn’t want to hang around with low quality people is racist rich people who are the benefactors of “white America.” I term those types of people as lazy and guilty of rationalizing their apathy to not being “lucky” enough to have a good life. So let me address the comments this guy made after we read what he said shown below.

Well, as a fellow middle class white guy who enjoys luxury movie theaters, reading this post filled me with shame. Your idiotic belief that you’re somehow superior to poor people due to the fortunate opportunities you’ve had in life oozes from every venom-filled syllable you typed out. I work hard, I went to college, I studied and earned a lot of what I have–but I also know full well that I had some lucky breaks in life, not least of which was being born into an upper middle class family that could afford investing in my upper education and sending me to a superior school system.

This post pretty much demonstrates exactly why this area of the country is considered so backwards. Your hatred for “welfare recipients” is disgusting, and criticizing people who use public transportation to go to work and purchase goods would be laughable if it wasn’t so painfully knuckle-headed. Are you even aware that there are people who didn’t have a daddy rich enough to buy them a car for their 16th birthday? You want the poor to work, yet don’t want them having any method of getting there, apparently… Unless it’s been so long since you stepped out of your middle class bubble that you haven’t yet realized that the days of getting a job at a corner store two blocks away ended around the time Andy Griffith went off the air.

Sorry to hear that teenagers with baggy jeans scare you so much. I bet you’d shit yourself if you walked into, say, Sycamore High School… except probably not, since *white* kids with baggy jeans likely aren’t what you were talking about. Isn’t that right, gramps?

I’m not sure why you waste your time posting this bull shit. Perhaps it’s your dream in life to become the next Bill Cunningham so you can profit off of further denigrating the reputation of SW Ohio. But having read only this post (searched for reviews on CineBistro), I doubt you’re even talented enough for the easy breezy career of insulting the needy for a living.

This will be only correspondence on here; I refuse to give your mindlessness further traffic than I’ve already given it. Enjoy your deluded, narcissistic life

Before getting into specifics, first, a little about me, since he brought up his assumption of me. Nobody ever gave me anything in life, I fought and slugged it out for everything that I am and have. Anybody who tries to take something from me learns how hard I defend it because I worked so hard to have it. I am also smart enough to know that it’s not the material things you have that make a person great, but it’s the soul of the benefactor. However, “stuff” is trophies of success—they are signs of victories gained on the battlefield of life and they are something you should be proud of. With that said, being “middle-class” is an insult. That’s like being proud of being a perpetual second place person all your life. Striving to win and have success is extremely important. Not so important that you commit suicide when you don’t win, but trying to win is what it’s all about. Material goods are signs of those victories.

Second, nobody should ever just be happy with the confined income of their job. If you are, then you are a loser. You allow your peers to control your destiny. For instance, say a person of decent means works at P&G, which is a good local company that pays fairly well, most of the time. You go to the store and see a really nice jacket that is $400, and you decide you really want it. But you look at your finances and decide you can’t pay for it, because you have a $2000 per month mortgage, a $600 car payment, a cell phone bill, furniture payments, vacation allowances—etc and realize that your $75,000 per year wage just won’t allow you to get the coat. You get paid that $75K per year based on an average work week of 40 to 50 hours, and you like your job. It took six years of college to get the job and about $80,000 in college debt to obtain the HR interview to obtain the 7’ tall cubical in the middle of a room full of other similar people. You get an hour for lunch and can browse the internet during the day when you’re bored from your job and need some intellectual stimulation. But you just can’t find the justification for that coat. So it goes un-purchased and inwardly you become bitter because other people can afford coats like the one you like, but for some reason, you can’t. Well, let me explain to you dear reader why you can’t afford that coat if you find yourself in the situation of that example. It’s because you are under employed.

There are 168 hours in a week and I seldom waste any of them. If you like to win at life, you have to make all those 168 hours work for you in some way, even when you take time to sleep. The world is a competitive place so you cannot waste a single one of those hours on objectives that are not aligned with your value system—otherwise you will lose at life. Those hours could be spent doing things you enjoy, they could be spent sleeping, drawing, reading, or watching movies, but there should always be an underlying plan for those spent hours. Perhaps a nice dinner might put you in the right mind for an important task, so you reward yourself an hour and a half at a prime restaurant experience to get ready. If you are only working 40 to 50 hours a week and are putting an artificial cap on your income at $75K then you are choking yourself from the potential of the 118 mismanaged hours left in the week. Many might say that they spend that time with their families, or doing things for “them” like playing video games or watching movies on Netflix, but if you want to be a happy person everything you do, including your work, should make you happy—and you should not waste time.

Humans are competing with each other in life for how much of those 168 hours they can squeeze success out of. If you only work one job then you are artificially limiting your income potential and giving your employer power over whether you win or lose at life. And it’s not just people in America, its people all over the world. There are workers in other countries that do not stop working ever. They sleep at their jobs and their co-workers are their family. In a global marketplace, we are racing against them. So people like this commenter who complain that they are only “middle-class” and were not given opportunities, or perhaps were given “lucky breaks” in life have not earned their place among the world leaders in productivity by merit. Somebody might have helped them get to the front of the pack, but that is not a common means of wealth acquisition. It’s “cheating.” One of the aspects of Donald Trump that I like is that he made his children work at minimum wage to learn the value of money. He could have given them cars, homes, and endless vacations—instead he gets mad at them if they don’t work on Saturdays—even through he is a billionaire. I know a lot of successful people and I know what they do to earn the right to buy expensive things. I know how many hours they work to get there—even when they go to movies or have dinner with their families. Many of them work 100 hours per week in some fashion or another. It comes with the territory. Out of all them, I don’t know anybody who works harder than I do—or longer. I make a point to use every single hour of the 168 hours given to me in a week to its full advantage. I never waste time and I have no sympathy for people who advocating that waste. Because I work so hard when I hear complaints from people falling behind in life, it makes me sick to hear what pathetic losers they are—and this guy is one of those types. He only gets mad because he sees people ahead in life and has to justify why he’s always in second place. It makes him feel better to believe that someone like me was given an “opportunity” or that I was lucky by some draw from a mythical deck of cards in a giant gambling game called life. Some people get an Ace card while others get a Joker. All that thinking is 100% wrong and I have no sympathy or tolerance for that lazy behavior. In my book if a person works less than 100 hours per week, they are lazy, because they are losing opportunities in life. Those opportunities may not be all career or income generating—they may be family opportunities, or personal growth options—like reading a book—or writing one. But every hour of every day of every week is valuable, and people should not waste them. Work hard and buy the damn coat that you want. Then wear it proudly.

As to the “gramps” comment—this guy is obviously young, so he plays into what I’ve said about Millennials—that they are lazy. Andy Griffith was a wonderful show and those young kids would do well to learn something of value from that old television program. Currently I’m 47 years old, so if that’s old, it probably is to a guy who is still mentally and intellectually 15 years old and looking for the basic primal human needs revolving around his sexual nature—like impressing a potential mate so that they stick their junk into that person and pollinate them like some jelly fish in the middle of the ocean that is functioning from the same primal necessity. I don’t like saggy pants on any young person, I don’t care what color their skin is. It’s a disgraceful trait to show one’s ass to the world which is a fashion trend invented in our prison system to advertise availability to other inmates. It’s a despicable mode of conduct. And to the point of being scared, nothing scares me. There is a big difference between being judgmental and being scared. I am proud to be judgmental because it means I have a value system that allows a scale of behavioral measurements. Being scared implies victimization and passivity—and those are not attributes that describe me in any way. So the term scared does not apply to me. I do not fear inferiority to others. I do not fear lack of success. And I do not fear peer review—in any fashion—at all.

As to being in some kind of “middle-class” bubble, I’ve spent plenty of time in slums. There was a time in my life that I bought the tires for my car on Liberty Street in Over-the-Rhine in Cincinnati, which is the ghetto neighborhood of South West, Ohio because they were only $5 each. They changed the tire right on the street and put them on the rim on the sidewalk. I’ve spent time in South Chicago and in the slums around Washington D.C. In all those cases it was at night. Of course there were challenges thrown at me, attempted criminal activity and I never experienced anything to keep me from returning again and again. If there is something I need in those places that help me utilize more of the 168 hours I have in a week, I get them anywhere I need to. And I’ve never lost a dollar to a threat of violence during a robbery. Eventually they stop trying because word gets around. So I don’t know what “middle-class” bubble this guy is talking about. I don’t live in one.

But with all that said, I enjoy spending my time around people who share my work ethic, not people who are cheating in life with welfare. Government assistance is like having the might of confiscated wealth legally stolen from people like me—who work very hard—and giving it to people so that they can pretend to be equal to the people at the front of the pack productively. It’s an artificial “middle-class” created to ensure that the upper-class are always the politicians who steal the money to stay in power. Public transportation falls under that system of class creation as the government often interprets it. I would walk before I shared space with people who do not share my values. I do not like taxi services, I don’t like public trains, and I hate buses—especially city buses. I would walk or ride a bicycle before I ever got on a public bus. So when Tri-County started busing in people from regions around the city into the relatively nice area of one of the most popular malls in Southern Ohio—it started to kill the productivity of the area because it forced the productive to mingle with the unproductive. And those two groups don’t go together—they don’t like each other. It has nothing to do with race, or sex—it has everything to do with value systems. Self-reliant hard-working people who squeeze everything they can out of their 168 hour week are repulsed by people who waste nearly all of their 168 hours with government subsidies. In the game of life, government handouts and public transportation are equitable to cheating—and I don’t respect people using those services based on my value system.

And lastly, Bill Cunningham is a loser. I do lots of radio. I have been offered jobs on radio, and likely I could probably do a show like Howard Stern does and do pretty well with ratings and money. But, this blog gives me 100% control over my content and I like not having a boss. I write these daily articles for the same reason that Ben Franklin had his own printing company, to publish his work without prostituting out his content. In radio you have to support whatever product is sponsoring your shows, and I just won’t do that. Now, specific to Bill Cunningham, there is more to our relationship than the little scandal he led against me in 2012 by siding with the Cincinnati Enquirer by the request of Lakota school teachers who begged him at Willie’s in West Chester to get me off the air at 700 WLW. In 1996 I had purchased quite a lot of air time on 700 WLW for a product I was working on and Bill Cunningham was my paid spokesman. I was supposed to come on his show to talk about my product, but the night before I was to arrive in the studio Cunningham had three strippers dance nude on the air for him that was really disgusting. At that time Cunningham was trying to compete with Howard Stern in New York for a ratings share, and it worked to some extent. It was a shock jock approach that boosted Cunningham’s national presence eventually leading to his Jerry Springer style show in New York years later. When the producer called me to arrive I refused saying that Cunningham did not represent my values and that I would not appear after the night before—because it had cheapened my impression of him. I was working with a public relations firm in downtown Cincinnati that was very well-known and they went ballistic about my decision. So there was a lot of pressure on me to appear on the show even though I had drawn my line in the sand. I didn’t go on, and I cancelled the remaining advertising which featured Cunningham’s voice. Years later Cunningham would try to get me back when I was doing the Lakota anti-tax work, and even then I did everyone’s show except for his. I went on with Scott Sloan, Doc Thompson, Marc Amazon and especially Darryl Parks. But never Cunningham, because I never forgot about that issue in 1996. Now, you can’t hold grudges the way I do and expect to succeed in radio, so I have no desire to be anything close to a Bill Cunningham. I have my own methods, and I use them in my way—which is how I like it. Apparently that valueless slug who wrote me doesn’t understand what I’m talking about, but that’s also why he’s a loser. I don’t like people like Bill Cunningham—he makes John McCain look like a conservative because he’s so liberal in his social and economic beliefs. He just pretends to be a conservative. He was the same idiot who advised John Kasich to go moderate from his original Tea Party leanings which turned him into another Ted Strickland and an embarrassment to Ohio with his buy-in to Obamacare.

So for that poor sap of a loser who wrote me with the assumption that he knew something about life—he was just a parrot, a mindless entity repeating what public schools have been teaching him about the rich, and “white middle-class traditionalists.” In some ways he’s a victim to the failures of modern society, but he’s guilty of following without doing the work himself to learn something else more useful. That is essentially because he’s happy to just cruise through life unmotivated and attributing any success he’s had in life to luck rather than hard work. He’s a second-hander who is obviously wasting their life on meaningless tripe and progressive bullet points. And he’s just pathetic. There are millions of people just like him and they are detriments to existence. Only they don’t yet know it because they haven’t given the time to think about the ramifications of their idiotic social stances. And that’s a shame. People like him waste their 168 hours per week and that makes them a menace to the productivity of American enterprise, and pieces of shit in my book—which is the only book I care about.

Watching Mosques in America for Terrorists: Catching the potential Tony Montanas from Syria before its too late

There was some backlash when Donald Trump said that the proper response to the Paris attacks meant that we should watch mosques in the United States. For some strange reason that caused consternation within the progressive community—as if saying such a thing was taboo. There was also further ridicule by the left and some on the right (politically) when Trump reminded everyone that Barack Obama still refused to identify the threat of Islamic terrorism by name.   The point, a valid one, here was a president after all who told NASA that their priority was to instruct Muslims of ancient contributions to science instead of managing a space program—so obviously there was some emotional investment from Obama into Islamic faith that is—“abnormal.” When terrorist attacks come from that particular religion, it is natural to look twice at radicals within those institutional organizations and contemplate their intentions—just for public safety. But denying that there is a problem is actually dangerous, and reckless—which of course was Donald Trump’s point.

I was taking some people out for a bite to eat recently, the type of people who know very little about politics. All they know about Donald Trump is that he was on The Apprentice and that he had a lot of money. They have no idea who the current Secretary of State is, and probably don’t know who the governor of Ohio is, but they could tell you all about the latest Cincinnati Bengals football game—down to the last detail including the color of the jock strap of many of the players. Obviously the conversation while eating wasn’t very deep and was very non-political—which wasn’t very interesting to me. However, we were returning to our pre-dinner destinations and while driving down I-75 they saw that the parking lot to the West Chester Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati was bulging with participants. There wasn’t an open parking spot anywhere and this led to some grumbling among my passengers that the next terrorist threat might come from such a place and that somebody should watch them. Of course that particular center has condemned violence publicly as seen in the Journal News article below.

http://www.journal-news.com/news/news/islamic-center-in-west-chester-speaks-outs-against/npN3F/

What Donald Trump was saying is what logical people everywhere are assuming—and it’s a dangerous path. Trump has stated that social networks connecting terrorists need to be shut down, their oil taken from them, and they should be chased down to the ends of the earth with vigilance. That sounds wonderful when we all agree who the enemy is, but if that same mentality was used against people like us—constitutionalists—then the same intrusiveness can be justified by the progressive left—just as it has been in regard to Lois Lerner and the IRS attack against conservative groups. Trump is talking about dangerous things in regard to border security and the Islamic faith in general. However, the aggression of ISIS terrorism forces everyone to come to terms with these quandaries. You either attack them by violating an American assumption of live and let live—or they attack first striking at the things we all value, our freedoms, our values, and our capitalist economy. Trump’s warnings remind me of the film Scarface with Al Pacino which has become a cult classic. Trump is right, correct thinking Americans know it. We are at war; the targets have to be identified. And decisive action must be enacted. Philosophy from that wreckage must follow with proper conduct in the aftermath. At some point you have to stop looking at the past for a guide-book of directions and instead learn what you can and apply those concepts to the future in ways not yet implemented. You have to take action, be decisive, but must also remain flexible so that you do not become a tyrannical state adhering to a constitutional republic.

At the beginning of the film Scarface were political refugees escaping the communism of Cuba. Tony Montana was a freedom fighter who fell out of line within the Casto regime in Cuba. Boat loads of immigrants fled to the United States flooding the immigration offices seeking freedom, for which Tony was one of them. Under Jimmy Carter, very similar to Barack Obama and the Syrian refugees, American arms were held open to those misplaced people. Tony tried to work a standard job in the states, but found he wanted more out of life so he became a drug lord. I always loved Scarface as a movie. As much as I despise drugs and its culture, I always did love Tony Montana for his sincere honesty and his explosive temper—and ultimately his desire to do the right thing even though he became a raging thug. One scene in Scarface was particularly powerful for me. Tony was solicited to assassinate an anti-drug speaker at the United Nations with a car bomb. But the man had his children in the car with him, so Tony killed his accomplice who was to detonate the bomb killing the target and all inside. Without getting into too many details, I understand that scene very well, and I loved it when Tony Montana shot the guy in the head saving the kids and doing the right thing in a brutally honest way. It was a wonderful scene that really captured the paradox of our current problems with Syrian refuges to America.

Likely within the groups of young men coming to America from war torn Syria, a country mismanaged from the start, empowered by a failed Obama administration that fed the fire of that insurrection either by accidental incompetence, or deliberate passive-aggressive desire to arm the rebels—who became ISIS—there are terrorists using the fleeing masses to bring ISIS ideology on a suicide mission to the states. There are probably several real-life Tony Montana types who are fleeing Syria for all the right reasons, but find there is nothing for them in the states but unholy infidels. All it would take is for them to make friends with some of the members of the Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati at a backyard barbecue, or even a local bar and discover that some of those people have radical thoughts and would be susceptible to a charismatic leader from Syria who had been there and already seen the decadence of the West first-hand due to the Sykes-Picot agreement from a century before.   Even though the Islamic Center of Greater Cincinnati’s leaders preach against terrorist violence, likely there are members who are sympathetic to the ISIS point of view if they spent time watching Al Jazeera America on cable television. All they need is a match to start a blaze and an ISIS sympathetic Syrian brought into the states with a feel-good intention to free those poor people from the mismanagement of the Obama administration might do something vile. All this is completely hypothetical of course. But it doesn’t take much to consider the possibilities.

Those guys who went out for a bite to eat with me had no skin in the game. They don’t attend Tea Party events, they aren’t overly religious, unless you consider football games a religion—and they are not even sure if they’ll vote for a president. But they knew enough to look at that center in West Chester and feel uneasy about its presence. In its current state, it is probably docile—its leaders seem to have a grip on their public actions, and their dealings center primarily on religion. However, a dangerous combination is a collective based religion combined with the type of communist anarchy that is well-known with the Occupy Wall Street crowd. That volatile mix could easily make an ISIS terrorist. And such young people fresh from Syria mingling with other young people who are having a hard time paying for their college debts, or finding a good job might be an attractive option to people not sure if they could even have a good life-like those of their parents who are obviously preaching peaceful Muslim faith. Take away the comfortable job, the nice home, the family structure, and a young radical no matter what their faith might easily become a social terror. And in this fashion, ISIS seems poised to infect the United States with just such a poison.

And for even suggesting it, Donald Trump was laughed at and mocked. Glenn Beck was treated in a similar way in 2011 when he proposed that the radicals in the Middle East were working to create a caliphate under Islamic rule. History has proven Beck right, and Donald Trump is sadly probably more correct than not, just like those football fans were weary of anything resembling Islamic faith—especially a large gathering of them in one place. There is a reason to be weary. Common sense dictates that awareness.   What we do with that determines our humanity. But indecision is just another form of terrorism because it promises that aggressors will have victory. Peace loving people therefore must accept that to have peace, action must take place, and for that to happen, judgments against assaults must occur. Only then can the war against ISIS be fought. And not a moment until the words are spoken in public—ISIS is the enemy and they use Islam as their camouflage in society. To root them out, we must look everywhere—especially where they like to hide.

Paris Needs Guns, Guns and More Guns: How to deal with ISIS around the world

France needs more guns—a lot more guns. As one of the most progressive cities in the world, they continue to be a premier target for terrorists from radical Islam as a Middle East caliphate attempts to take over the world through fear. France is essentially a socialist country; it has a current socialist president. It has gun control—very strict gun control. It is an open-minded place sexually, philosophically, and especially nationally with a large immigration problem that would be considered illegal in other places around the world. And in one of their premier sporting events which was taking place at one of the attacked targets, a soccer stadium full of 70,000 people as France played Germany in a match they called a “friendly” French society just comes across to evil as a soft, easy target. ISIS terrorists had no fear of stepping into a popular night spot where innocent people were dancing the night way and opening fire from a balcony while lobbing grenades into the crowd—because they knew nobody would shoot back. In Paris, the police are often not armed—so there was nothing to stop terrorists from their ill intentions.

I feel sorry for the families of the victims who will have the mutilated bodies of their loved ones splashed on television and media images from now on as this story was so shocking that it will not die soon. It’s asking for trouble to be in a place where you could end up helpless in a fishbowl, stuck with nowhere to go if a crazed radical decides to make victims of people defenseless in a public place. In Paris a small army of terrorists caused over 150 deaths and many more injuries. As of this writing only eight of those scum bags were killed as police eventually did show up with guns to engage the threats. But after massive amounts of damage and terror were already inflicted.

Now it should be clear why guns should be more abundantly used for private use and what happens to people when a socialist state is in charge. Paris after the attacks went into a curfew mode. A city known for its liberal living was locked down like a panicked school during a fire drill interrupting everyone’s lives that may be there on business or sightseeing travel. The borders of the entire country are now sealed off as if that is going to stop terrorists from getting back to their homeland of Syria and Iraq. Of course the socialist president of France declared war against the perpetrators as ISIS gleefully claimed responsibility daring action taken in retaliation. After all, who’s going to be afraid of a country that calls its competitive events, “friendlies?” What’s France going to do to ISIS? Send them a strongly worded letter? Or tell the Americans that they will support for more air strikes along the Syria, Iraq border? France doesn’t have any resources to declare war against anybody, let alone a lunatic base of international thugs known as ISIS.

All the support, all the prayers, all the colored state houses across the world showing support for France won’t solve the problem—they are meaningless gestures caused by global mismanagement of the Middle East. There you have religious based radicals politically driven by communism who are still angry at Europe for the Sykes-Pikot agreement and they will not stop until they are all dead, because they have been raised from youth to hate everything. So there is no reform. You can’t send them a box of chocolates and expect everything to be alright. They only understand force, and until the world is ready to show that force, these types of attacks will only increase, because passivity only increases the desire to inflict harm.

Now lets look at some really stupid behavior by the same leaders who brought us the massive progressive utopia known as Paris so it can be seen that similar acts of violence are poised to unleash across the plant all designed by the insurrections in Syria. The following story isn’t just United States specific. There are Syrian refugees all over Europe fleeing ISIS, and within those cells of refugees are minorities of radicals who are willing to suicide bomb potential targets so that Allah will give them their virgins and lofty praise in the afterlife. We are dealing with a new kind of stupidity around the world, and they are dangerous.

The 10,000 Syrian refugees are first flown to the United States, according to the French news wire Agence France-Presse, with the State Department paying the International Organization for Migration (IOM) for the airfare.

Then, once the refugees arrive in the country, they could be dispersed across the 180 cities listed above, where they are to aided within the first 30 to 90 days in settling and finding employment in the area.

After approximately 90 days, refugees are no longer eligible for the State Department-funded support that they were receiving through migrant and refugee services. However, they are able to join support programs through the Department of Health and Human Services.

Additionally, it is unclear how much the screening process for the 10,000 Syrian refugees will cost American taxpayers.

The State Department spent $1.1 billion resettling people from around the world in the country last year. That’s about $16,000 per person.

After the Hayride broke the exclusive story on 10,000 Syrian refugees possibly resettling in Baton Rouge, Lafayette and Metairie, it has now come to light that refugees are already coming into the New Orleans area.

Catholic Charities, which receive federal grants from U.S. Department of State/Bureau of Population, Refugees and Migration, have apparently taken in two Syrian refugee families already and are expecting many more.

There are approximately 180 cities in the country that are eligible to accept the 10,000 Syrian refugees. Here is the full list of those cities, which includes Baton Rouge, Matairie and Lafayette:

http://thehayride.com/2015/11/breaking-syrian-refugees-are-arriving-in-new-orleans/

The best advice is to grab your guns and be vigilant. Keep your eyes open and understand that evil is amuck. Don’t get caught praying for peace, because these killers will attack while nations morn on their knees to deities unseen and negligent toward the evil before us. If Paris had more guns on their streets in the hands of their private citizens, they wouldn’t be such a lucrative target, so for their sake, and everyone else, revisit your gun laws, and make it easier for private citizens to carry so that they will be there ready to defend the weak around them when the time comes. Because that time will come again, and likely more often than it has in the past—attacks like this one in Paris only emboldens evil. Without complete dissemination of their terrorist cells, they will plan another attack. And only guns and the willingness to use them can alter those aggressive plans of global insurrection.

Not the Review You’d Think on ‘Spectre’: Why James Bond is all about the individual against institutionalism

After giving a wonderfully deserving review of the Liberty Center movie theater Cinebistro where I saw Spectre as a first ever viewing in that newly constructed wonder, I thought it beneficial to point out some aspects of the new James Bond movie that are important to our usual discussions. I’ll have to say that I loved the movie; it was very good for a Bond film, and even wonderful as a stand a lone feature. But the movie tackled some very direct and indirect issues which concern the larger aspects of society, so this is not a review as much as it is a social commentary on the latest in the Bond franchise and its impact on mainstream, global, culture.

First of all, Spectre was essentially the epitome of what we all fear regarding the NSA program in the United States. Considering that James Bond is a British film franchise that has its largest market in America, it’s always interesting to see how the world views issues through James Bond stories intended for specifically American eyes. I have to point out that the reason that James Bond was successful as a “supers spy” is specifically because he is willing to break the rules all the time and do what he thinks is right as an individual. James Bond works because he acts as an individual who will violate the chain of his command structure to do what he thinks is right. That is why James Bond is one of the best overman characters in cinema and so long as the filmmakers know and accept that—James Bond films will be successful. James Bond films are not so good when he becomes a “duty first” sacrificial lamb working toward progressive causes. In those types of stories, James Bond falters. But in Spectre, James Bond is an overman—and he succeeds because of it—and so does the story.

In that fashion this latest film has been criticized as being a less “progressive” film and more of a throwback to the early Sean Connery films—which I thought was always the point of the Daniel Craig stories. Bond has little weaknesses, never appears to be unsure of himself, and always manages to get a situation under control. That’s wonderful—it’s why I go see James Bond movies as opposed to some of the more recent garbage where the main characters are all emotional about their parents, or their role in the universe. James Bond is sure of himself and likes the skin he lives in. That makes him a wonderful character.

English society loves rules and following them. They are some of the most proper people on the planet by their very nature. I enjoy them most of the time because at least they have wonderful values—as a nation. But, Bond works best when he disobeys orders, wither its direct commands from “M” or he’s harassing “Q” or stepping around the constructs of social well-being for the benefit of objectives only he can see. So it’s interesting that England has embraced James Bond with such open arms because he reveals about them the suppressed nature of their national consciousness. James Bond is the English version of an American cowboy—a rugged individualist functioning from their own blissful nature—without the confinement of social impositions. If he wants to make love to a woman, he does it. If he wants to save the world—he does it even if his superiors tell him to stand down. That’s a very important distinction.

Then you get into the other side of the European mindset, the constant references in the film to how government could never afford such a luxurious surveillance program as the character “C” is in charge of, that only the private sector can. Such a conversation occurred between “M” and a fellow bureaucrat as they discussed eliminating the 00 program of counter-intelligence for which James Bond works. The interesting aspect of all this is that 007, otherwise known as James Bond is a government worker and the personal identity of all the other government workers are only known by their employment positions—such as “M,” “Q,” or “C.” Their individual names are not relevant to their social context within the movie. So within all James Bond films is this strange dance between duty and national loyalty and individual free will as James Bond walks the very fine line between them.

An interesting transition occurred as James Bond was discovered at a secret society meeting of a group called Spectre and their plans for world domination through global surveillance programs—while in a car chase Bond was on the phone with Miss Moneypenny which is being recorded secretly by “C.” Bond has broken from his command by “M” to remain in London but is instead fleeing an aggressor in Rome. Moneypenny gives Bond the information he needs which allows for the adventure to continue, but later when “C” wants to slam “M” for not having control of his agents to justify the global surveillance program he is initiating with Spectre, it is brought up strategically to put justification for insurrection on the out-dated government organization which is made out in this case to be a heroic enterprise. “M” isn’t mad at Bond for disobeying him, it’s at “C” for using a big brother nanny state to take control of his “old school” 00 program, very interesting paradoxes there.

Of course I don’t mean to spoil the ending, but at the conclusion of the story obviously it involves Bond in an individual situation of value versus the greater good. He picks love for his own selfish reasons and the story concludes putting his needs before the needs of the state. He was literally on a bridge with his girlfriend on one end and his boss “M” at the other. He walked deliberately toward her and that was the parting shot of the film. Obviously the movie resonated with audiences and the picture made well over $100 million on its opening weekend. People agreed with James Bond’s decision. If he had walked toward “M” Bond would be a lot less cool. That’s something to note.

The formula with Bond as opposed to other franchises is that it gives people the surface values they feel in their society, love of country, loyalty to a cause, sacrifice, honor as assessed by collective opinion. But additionally it touches the subconscious of individual necessity and value. Bond is an individual that will disobey all the rules of society to do what’s right which only he can see. Ultimately in all Bond movies that are successful, this is the relationship Bond has with the institutions of his life, and it’s why people continue to cheer him to victory each time after over five decades of film telling essentially the same story over and over again with new actors, updated visuals, but essentially the same conflict on the screen—Bond against an ultimate villain, and Bond against the institution. At the conclusion of each film when Bond outsmarts both antagonists, the literal villain and the institutions of his life successfully while still fulfilling the mission parameters that always embody the greater good; we love the movies with successful box office earnings.

Personally, I loved the various metaphors of this latest Bond installment. There were a lot, and they were intelligent. The filmmakers obviously went the extra mile to deliver a film filled with a visual commentary on the condition of our modern era. As I’ve said previously, the opening scene was spectacular; the fight on the train was very classic—and suspenseful. The car chase and style of the secret society meeting which was very reminiscent of Eyes Wide Shut was done with great taste and cinematic skill. It was compelling to say the least given many of the concerns of our real political society these days. There may not be so much fiction in it as we would like to believe. All in all, Spectre was a great film, not because James Bond was a loyal agent to His Majesty’s Secret Service, but because he was an individual who literally pushed the world away in order to save it. Powerful stuff if it is understood literally and not just subconsciously. With that context in mind, listen to the words of the theme song—“Writing on the Wall” and you will hear a small work of genius into the plight of the individual against the collective.

Spectre is a movie well worth watching, and if you are lucky enough to live near the Cinebistro at Liberty Center—go see it there with a nice bottle of wine and a juicy self-indulged steak. Maybe even have a martini shaken, but not stirred for some good fun. It’s that kind of movie and one that you will leave with no regrets and maybe a few advanced thoughts about the condition of the human race and the paradoxes of our existence. The English know they are there, but they can’t seem to admit to them in the light of day—only in the magic of a darkened theater under the light of the silver screen.

Cinebistro at Liberty Center: How it works and why you should go

imageThere isn’t even a close second in my opinion; my first movie experience at Liberty Center’s Cinebistro was the best I’ve ever had in my long movie going history. It was fabulous on all fronts. Couple that experience with the opening of one of the most wonderful James Bond intros—a several minute tracking shot from what had to be a really sophisticated drone camera system involving thousands of extras in and out-of-doors in one take and I have to thank the filmmakers and Cinebistro for the most memorable theater experience that I’ve ever had 47 years. I’ve written on these pages before of my love of the Newport on the Levee theaters by AMC. I’ve went on about the Regal in Mason. I’ve described the IMAX screen at Springdale as the best in the city of Cincinnati.   I enjoy little things from all those places, so I was eager to see just how good the Cobb group was in putting together a theater experience in my hometown, and I can only say it was a stunning example of everything I’ve ever dreamed of regarding a journey out to the movies—which is a favorite pastime of mine. So that you dear reader can experience it for yourself let me describe how it works coupled with a bit of background for context.

I have lived in the area of Liberty Township most of my life. I’ve traveled and lived in other places, but I stayed in Liberty Township because I consider it one of the best locations in the United States. I get involved in the politics of the area to some extent to protect my investment both fiscally, and philosophically. Forty years ago when I was a kid in the area the best place to see a movie was the Showcase Cinemas in Springdale. I considered it a luxury experience to go to the Dayton Mall which had a movie theater inside the mall. I also years later thought it was a luxury to see a movie inside the Kenwood Mall. Going to the movies was always and continues to be an exciting thing to do in my life. I enjoy it most of the time. Around the country there is a really nice movie theater I like at Cocoa Beach inside the mall there. One of the neatest that I’ve seen was at the Americana complex in Glendale, California which caters to the wealthy in and around the television industry which shoots a lot of footage nearby on a daily basis. It is not uncommon to see movie stars and television stars seeking downtime at the Americana, it’s where they go to get away from the public and the movie theater is naturally nice. Another great movie theater is the one at Universal Studios in Florida at the City Walk. So it is within the context of those exotic destinations that I can say that Liberty Center and the Cinebistro within it are among the best that I have ever seen—anywhere. I could go so far to say that Cinebistro is the best movie theater currently in the state of Ohio—and yes that includes theaters in Columbus and Cleveland. It was the best—here’s why, and how it works.image

Cinebistro is actually a separate theater experience from the Cobb Luxury theaters. It has its own little section off to the left of the main entrance at the top of the escalator. Tickets for both theaters are bought in the downstairs, street level ticket booth. Simply take the escalator up into the main auditorium and the Luxury theaters are off to the right with the Cinebistro off to the left. Ahead is Cobbster’s kitchen which services the Luxury theaters. Behind, to the right is the bar and restaurant which by itself is a great experience. It has a fantastic view up the street into the heart of Liberty Center from a nice balcony that protrudes off the building. It’s all very dramatic and wonderful. But things really get cool when you step into the doors to the Cinebistro. The tickets themselves look like they are for a high-class affair; they are not your normal movie ticket. When they are purchased downstairs you pick your seats for the presentation. So when you step into the doors of Cinebistro you are good to go. You should arrive about 45 minutes before your feature, but 30 minutes are recommended. At 30 minutes until the feature they call your showing and you proceed inside just as you would a normal theater, only an usher will take you to your seat the way a hostess would at a restaurant complete with a full menu of their offerings.

The reason you should arrive an additional 15 minutes to the recommended 30 minutes early is so that you can relax in their lounge which is very nice and has also its own balcony overlooking the square outside. At the bar a striking young woman was very knowledgeable about drinks and provided an assortment of exotic beers, wines and just about every other drink on the market. I brought along some of my family so we had a group of four and relaxed for a moment with some drinks. I listened to the bartender take additional orders from other customers and her manner was what you would expect at the bar of a very nice hotel. She was very professional and competent speaking without any slang—fully prepared to deal with people who are used to speaking with proper grammar and complete sentences. She and I spoke a bit about a suggestion she had on that cold November night in Ohio for a fire pit outside on the balcony for her guests to warm up next to, similar to what the Kona Grill had across the square in full few of the bar. The view was quite nice outside the windows and I couldn’t help but think of some prime location in a downtown area anywhere in the country. I actually forgot that I was in my hometown—because it felt like being on vacation someplace very expensive.

The prices however weren’t that expensive. The ticket prices for a primetime film were around $14.50 and the beers and martinis weren’t all that expensive, reasonably priced in fact. The balcony was very inviting so we spent some time there sipping drinks and looking down the street toward the other end of Liberty Center where they were assembling a Christmas Tree for their Holiday exhibit. It was very comfortable and premier. The entire staff obviously received the memo that guests were to be treated with great attention because it wasn’t just that bartender who behaved with a level of competency. When our movie was called the people working the information desk, the ticket taker, our usher, our server, and the runners were all very respectful, which was refreshing for a change. You have to be over 21 to even go to the Cinebistro so you can forget about kids of any kind. They aren’t even admitted. That might be rough if you have a family with young kids, but for them, the other theater is the best option. Cinebistro is off limits—its adults only. The biggest downside to other regional movie theaters is the kids and teenagers. Nobody wants to around a bunch of teenage kids in a movie theater, especially on a Friday and Saturday night. They are loud, they are always on their cell phones, and they are entitled. At Cinebistro, you don’t have to worry about them in any way. That was wonderful.image

When you step into the theater it’s like stepping into another world. The theaters really look like the screen rooms of a Hollywood studio. They are extremely well done and the seats are known for their comfort. I’ve personally only sat in a seat that comfortable at Brookstone or in a private home theater done with extreme luxury in mind. The Cinebistro theaters are a bit smaller than average not built to pack as many people in a theater as possible, but to make those people as comfortable as they can, even down to tiny details like pairing them up couple specific. For instance my daughter and her husband couldn’t see my face, only my wife could because the seats were arranged in a way to provide a zone of privacy for couples. That really impressed me.image

Just like in a restaurant a server comes to your seat to take your order after you’ve had a few minutes to look over the menu. That’s when you notice how much space there is between rows. The seats are arranged in a way that allow for the waitress to walk down the aisle even if the seat’s footrest is fully extended into the reclined position. If you wanted you could recline the seats back enough to sleep in. But the distance between rows of seats is more than enough for servers to attend you without having difficulty. It was a surprising distance that I’ve never seen in any movie theater, even private ones. Your server takes your order during that 30 minute seating period. The objective for them is to get all the orders into the kitchen so that the food can be delivered to a table which folds out over your seat by the time the previews start. Preview times are set at 18 minutes. The runners bring your food from the kitchen to your seat during this time. They do not want to be standing in your way when the movie starts, that is why they need to get your order as soon as possible once you sit down. It takes just a bit of planning on your part, but it is well worth it.

Gone from the Cinebistro are those stupid ads that show on the screen before a movie’s previews begin—while people are sitting. Cinebistro is like watching on the screen a fine novel as opposed to the classifieds in a newspaper. Both actions fall under the heading of “reading” but one is certainly better than the other. At Cinebistro during our film they were showing IMAX images of nature films that are available on DVD. But there was no narration, only nice sound effects of nature elements and some mild music that played continuously during the entire 30 minutes of seating, ordering, and awaiting for its arrival. When the previews began, the food started to come out. I was in the mood for a hamburger so I tried their Bistro Burger, which was very fresh and along the lines of something from the Rusty Bucket or Red Robin.     imageThey advertise that everything is made fresh each day, and from my perspective it was. My wife had the veggie burger. My daughter had a more refined taste as she had the Shrimp Mac and Cheese which was really a nice looking dish for $17. My son-in-law had the Smoked Pork Chop at $20.50. It looked like it came from Jags—which in Cincinnati is one of the premier steak houses in the Tri State. That impressed me. He ordered another martini, and my wife a beer. I had a Coke so we had a nice sampling of all their various food options at degrees of etiquette and all were quite immaculate. If I was impressed with everything up to that point, which I was, the food really put it over the top. It actually far exceeded my expectations. I assumed it would be a bit gimmicky, but it was genuinely extremely good.

Thank goodness the movie itself was really good as well, because it just put a period at the end of that sentence for the night. The sound system was fabulous. The visual quality of the picture was what you’d expect from a high-end place—everything was top shelf—which I’m finding is a theme at Liberty Center. I’m sure there are issues somewhere with all the new establishments coming on-line with all the new hires, but so far my experiences have been wonderful. I have been very happy with the Rodizio at the other end of Liberty Center—they are an extremely good dining option. Of course I had high hopes for the Cinebistro so it is not often when reality actually exceeds high hopes, but they did in this case. By the time the James Bond movie was over and we all looked at each other after the movie, we realized that it was the best film going experience we had ever had—which is saying a lot. We’ve had some good times at movies, but never anything like what we had at the Cinebistro.image

On the way out the staff was as friendly as they were on the way in. All in all, we spent $207 on four people for a prime time first run movie and a really good meal.  The tip is set at 17% and is added to your bill automatically. So you don’t have to worry about leaving one at the end of the film.  We could have spent a lot more, and we could have spent less, especially if we hadn’t had any alcohol. You don’t have to get food, but it’s almost impossible not to because the atmosphere begs for it. So I thought of it as a bargain. The couple next to my wife and I ordered a bottle of wine halfway through the film. If you want something refreshed once the movie starts there is a concession area right outside the theater that you can go to for additional items. They do that so servers don’t bother you while watching the movie. The serving team every 30 minutes travels from theater to theater which is why they have their movies timed the way they do. It’s a very slick operation. But if you want more, they have those options too. Next to us the couple sipped on wine after their dinner and were enjoying themselves quite a lot. It was a bizarre experience to me. I had to remind myself that in my wildest dreams when I was a kid that something as nice as the Cinebistro would be built on ground I used to play on. Back then all the nice, fancy stuff was downtown in Cincinnati or Dayton. Most of the time it was out-of-state. Now Liberty Township was an instant tourist destination which was fine with me. It still has many of the things I have always loved about it. But now it has some things that I used to only get while traveling to far away places. After the Cinebistro experience it became clear to me that now people would be coming from thousands of miles away to come here—and that gave me a bit of pride in my hometown that is always under the surface, but was easier for me to access.

On the way out I spoke to the bartender again and we talked about her idea for the fire pits. She was right, that was the only thing that could really improve Cinebistro. From down below on the street it would look like a temple of exotic paradise. Above it would provide warmth to romantic couples waiting for their movie while having a nice drink and enjoying the weather no matter how cold it was. It’s really the only thing that could be done to improve the place. Because otherwise, it was exquisite, extremely memorable, and much more affordable than you’d think. I’m already looking for a good excuse to see another movie just to experience the whole thing again. My only hesitation was that Spectre was so good that another movie might take away from my memory too soon.
