The Value of Thinking like a 12-Year-Old: How we should improve our education system

Every time I do a bunch of education articles, such as I did recently for the election of 2019 critics write me and ask me for what solution I would support since I think that the current public education system is so screwed up. I often say these days that I think kids would be better off living in the woods without a public education classroom if the goal for them was to get smarter rather than sticking with what we have now. Government schools are so dysfunctional that they really should be considered a menace. For as much time and money that we put into the education of children too many of them enter adulthood ill prepared for the reality which should tell us everything we need to know. Therefore, people who are critical of me are only upset that I bring it up. But to answer their question, lets get to the basic foundation of the problem.

Recently I was reviewing some 3P techniques for a project I’m working on, its one of those Lean applications that are part of the long evolution of the Toyota systems research that has been going on for a long time yet has had lots of trouble taking root in the United States. That is actually the subject of a new book I’m working on called The Gunfighter’s Guide to Business. I’m not willing to throw the baby out with the bathwater like many might be willing to do, but we do need to understand why these things tend to work in Japan and China and not in the United States. Or do they really work at all, or is the key really just naturally engaged employees. And if so, then why are they engaged while others aren’t? I have it all worked out, but explaining it to people who are functioning from the wrong definitions of things is a bit more of a challenge. To be blunt, our public educations have taught our entire society all the wrong things and now we have a mess to clean up that will take centuries. So we might as well start somewhere.

The meaning of life is not to be born, learn how to read, write and perform rational thought only to throw all that out the window at puberty to get a mate, have sex, pop out a few kids then gradually die as the flower of our bodies wilt away into old age where even the universe spits at us once we’ve passed the years of reproduction. All that is wrong—and that is the basic pattern of understanding around the world of the cycles of life. Rather, we are born, we are given the opportunity to learn all we can before we are on the clock of responsibility, and we spend the rest of our lives functioning from what is left of that perfect period of childhood that we all have an opportunity to experience. However, most people don’t get such great childhoods and they grow up and into bitter adults who can’t problem solve their way out of a paper bag and end up intellectually crippled for life.

We should look at childhood as one of our highest states of consciousness and figure out why we are trying so hard as a civilization to grow up and away from this outlook. On that recent 3P investigation one of the key takeaways was that the classroom participants were told that they needed to reconnect with their 12-year-old self, because it was at this time that most of us were still open minded about problem solving and generally thinking outside the box. And that is the case with most children, they all start off pretty equal. As open books on brain development they all learn along a similar path and with great optimism. Just look at the kind of books that we provide to children seen at any bookstore. They are full of colors and positive images meant to inspire next step learning, to lure them to good new things to think about rather than boring, stagnant images. Then kids hit puberty, public schools are trying to teach sex in the fourth grade and earlier these days, and once kids are told that sex is their primary function and their social status within the classroom culture will determine who they get to mate with, that person begins a long decline that lasts the rest of their lives, and it is very tragic.

The 3P people observed from the Toyota culture in Japan that they are a playful people, and this is obvious while at the Tokyo airport. The billboard colors there are very positive and even their television in Japan is very childlike, meaning its experimental and positive about most everything. It has taken the Lean community many years of western thinking to get close to unlocking the real secrets of the Toyota culture. Its not just that they are organized and engaged in Japan, but that they don’t get hung up on silly stuff, they are much more like children than what we’d call adults in America. Children will try things and play with ideas where adults usually try to bend reality to their mode of thinking. Whatever it is that they learned and whoever they learned it from tends to limit the western mind rather than unleash it toward continued growth or at least sustaining what they were when they were children.

This is why I see so much positive growth in the geek culture in America where adults go to science fiction conventions dressed in cosplay and have fun going to midnight movies and making amusement parks part of their lifestyles. It’s the Peter Pan lesson of the approach that Tom Hanks showed in the movie Big where an actual kid was very successful in business because he thought like a child. We have been thinking about this problem for a long time, but still what holds us back is this assumption that by growing up we are supposed to get rid of our childhoods rather than trying to have the best one possible then carrying those memories throughout our entire life with the fuel to sustain us. The way we approach things now we empty ourselves of everything we built until puberty then seek to throw it all away so we can join some lifecycle mating custom that essentially ends by the time we are all aged 30. There is a lot of life to live after that age but most of us just don’t know what to do with ourselves so the gradual decline begins and we find ourselves stagnant and ineffective for the rest of our lives.

Our education system should be looking to make an Einstein out of every young mind. By the time kids leave the 12th grade if they maintained the rate of learning that they did up until around age 10, we should have lots of geniuses running around doing great things. Instead we end up with a bunch of flat thinkers who have to be told as 40 and 50 year olds that they need to reconnect with their 12-year-old selves so they can be effective at their jobs. If I had a nickel for every time someone told me to grow up, I’d have a lot of nickels. Many millions worth. But I’ve always bulked at that notion and am very happy to say that I never stopped thinking like a 12-year-old. Ever. I have always viewed the typical definition of adulthood as a loss of something valuable that we had as children but lost too soon in a premature death. So I’ve held onto mine as a treasure and that has certainly helped me in life be much more effective than in embracing the traditional trajectory of the aging process. And we do need to fix that notion. If our education system started looking at children as the highest level of thought out of the starting gate and could harness that energy instead of seeking to destroy it, I would feel differently. Until then, I’m dead set against the modern concepts of education, because they are not sufficient enough, and do not teach the right things.

Impeachment isn’t an Option: Defending the President with violance if it comes to it

In all parts of my life I would have to say that I am a highly respected person, very highly educated and in all manners of it, an example for everyone to follow. The word influence leader is tossed around a lot in the content of my interactions, and at a high level. Most of my best friends these days are very wealthy and also extremely respected. Yet I would say that my personality that writes these articles on this blog site is every bit me on a plate, and even when the talk turns toward aggressive corrective action, that is certainly not out of character for me. I say all that for context because when it comes to President Trump, I love the guy because he has been willing to take the fight to the enemy in a way that I have for years, and I know it’s a pain for him. He and his family could be enjoying so many other things in their life rather than dealing with the losers of the swamp. And so could I. Prior to these political days I routinely spoke to people in Hollywood working in the business and one of my targeted career tracks was to have my written works published by big time publishers on the shelves of Barnes & Noble. Obviously by my work on this blog, I had planned to write more books than Stephen King, George R.R. Martin, or J. K. Rolling and to be more successful. But I saw where the country was in the years of 2005 to 2010 and I joined the Tea Party movement to fix it, and that is very much my stance today.

The premise of my decision is to fight back against several levels of thought that are essentially trying to destroy America, and that is the notion that other people make you who you are rather than you make yourself. Our education system teaches us that other people make or break you, yet our Constitution is designed to unleash individual talent so that you can be anybody you want to be, and sometimes that means you have to go off the rails in spite of what the social norms allow. Such an example for me was talking to publishers in New York about my second book called Tail of the Dragon. I had been nurturing several large talent agencies toward my work the way many writers did and when they looked up my website at the time and saw that I was a Tea Party supporter—openly, that was the deal breaker. Of course, my response was to point out the many leftists writers such as Stephen King and J.K. Rolling who were openly liberal and why the same rules of social edit didn’t apply to them and the answer I received was obvious. All the big publishing houses and corporate media markets were dedicated to all out global socialism and if I wanted to be in the game, I’d have to adapt. Well, that’s not how or why I do anything. So I turned away from that business I loved so much and went into another direction. I of course still write, but I do it for myself as opposed to the mandates of other people.

So anybody reading can imagine what I might say or do in relation to this impeachment inquiry on President Trump and why some of my writing has turned scary at times. Based on the standards that Democrats are creating for impeachment, essentially because they can’t beat President Trump in an election and all their internal polling says so, this is the only way they can have a shot for the White House for the next 12 years at least. (4 more years of Donald J. Trump, then (8 years of Don Jr. I’d place a bet on that one right now) So Democrats due to their ideas being goofy already are turning to law breaking and true piracy to attempt to get their people in power and I’m not OK with it. I can be successful at anything I put my hands on. What I get and do in life is not up to other people. I could go work at a root beer stand tomorrow and within a few months I could make it all very successful and the people associated with it very wealthy. I have no reservation about protecting the president I elected from an obvious coup by government employees who have rigged our system to their personal advantage and using the Constitution to justify the behavior. What they have been doing, the government employees whether we are talking about our local union ran schoolteachers, or our CIA and FBI agents who have been hostile to our 2016 election and are asking for an ass kicking. I put more value on the ass kicking than in any ass kissing that most of the business community believes they must do just to stay in business due to massive government corruption. I believe in that notion so strongly that I have made life decisions already to follow that line of thought. Nothing anybody says at this point is going to change anything. Trump is my guy, I voted for him to fix this mess, which he has been doing a good job, and I’m not going to sit by and just allow a bunch of losers who did cause a lot of expensive problems for us to deal with get away with it.

Its not unusual for me to lend my thoughts to local issues and people I think will help a situation. And I’m not worried about letting villains know what I think of them. I don’t like being lied to and I certainly don’t take threats to my life in any way lightly. I have come to know that threats of either violence or even social ostracizing is all these enemies of America have to fight with and for that they have come to think they are running the world. I didn’t put up with it when I was a kid, or as I was coming up in life and learning what worked and what didn’t. I certainly saw it in the entertainment industry where they would clamor over every email you send them, and lunch meetings, to complete alienation once they learn that you are a conservative. And it doesn’t work presently in any capacity because the truth is, they don’t make people, they need people who are successful to loot off of, and that is the dirty little secret they are terrified people will discover about them, and I’m not shy to let them know I know it. However, the big national and international issues are what I’m most interested in talking about and this impeachment talk is truly the biggest story that needs to be covered. It is amazingly arrogant to watch Democrats attempt to overthrow an election during an election year and sell it back to us as some kind of legal purity. It’s the biggest farce I’ve ever seen and I am prepared to turn to violence to protect the president I elected, and many others. Getting along with other people isn’t nearly as important to me as in doing right, and right in our “republic,” not some socialist democracy, is determined by elections and without that basic premise, we have nothing anyway. So why not fight for it with spilled blood and a lot of carnage? That’s how we got it in the first place and I’m thinking that in the end, that’s all those insurgents will understand. It wouldn’t be my first choice, but based on my own history, what other outcome would there be if that other side refuses to listen and honor our laws? I’d say they already made their choice.

The Mad Moms of Biological Socialism: A changing world that is taking root in logic instead of chaos

One thing is for sure, this latest round of local elections around the I-275 loop in Cincinnati has reunited me with many old friends from the No Lakota days. I used to cover education topics all over the city, not just at Lakota. But for the last several years have been more concerned about Second Amendment issues and the presidency of Donald Trump. Honestly, the debates about public education are boring and I have grown to hate many of the people advocating for government schools because I determined long ago that they were up to no good not only in what they were teaching our children, but in what they expected from the community. The fight against them is a needed one and I am glad to see how many people are still out there fighting the good fight, because it is having an impact. The needle has moved, and that has been beneficial.

I was with family members over the weekend who like all the wrong people for all the wrong reasons at Lakota, essentially so that they can have busing and some thought of day care for their children. The whole issue sickens me every time I go through it with people, because they just don’t get it. Just as in Lakota when pro-business forces produced a letter showing proof of anti-business bias from Ohio schools, most people just didn’t make a connection to the story. People sending their kids to these monstrosities of government programming are young socialists themselves. When I listen to a young mother talk, they seem all too often to be little biological socialists by default, and they vote that way. Everything in the world is supposed to yield to the needs of their child and that includes the mother herself who will literally sacrifice every last essence of their lives to give their little child what they need. I call these types of people biological socialists because they behave the same way as political ones. Their child becomes the institution instead of some government entity. But the behavior is the same, which is why government schools constantly tap into that sentiment with rigor, because it matches their overall objective.

Young moms most of the time are enduring a ten year period of insanity because its written into their biological code to do so, and it is those types of people who vote like ravenous wolves every little safety endeavor, and school levy need in government schools, because they are functioning from that train of thought, of a young socialist not much different than the most radical communist supporter of yesteryear. As well meaning as those people are, they are not functioning from logic meaning that they must be met on the battlefield of ideas with resistance, and to that effect I am glad to see so many still out there fighting the good fight even after many years of tough trench warfare that has yielded very little benefit. The important thing to note is that there have been incremental benefits that are changing the dialogue in a positive direction.

What becomes clear is that many of these modern rebellions against the school systems are by the very same women who used to be mothers but are several decades removed from the practice and have regained their minds from the turmoil of the constant needs of a young one. Once their children have grown up and away from those demanding years of childhood, they see the story for what it was all along, and they are standing up to the vast evils that emerge from public education as renewed spirits. No longer are they worried about their child getting to school on a bus, or what the cafeteria is feeding their kid for lunch, but they start to see the big picture of how things work and they aren’t happy about it politically, and want to do something about it. I especially heard from old friends in the Lebanon school district who are fighting a good fight there, as well as Talawanda. Over this last election we have had something of a class reunion, and it has been encouraging.

There is a reason that modern politics put their focus on these young socialist moms who have the depth of knowledge of a fruitcake and the memory of a fly. Because they are up to know good and looking to exploit their depleted natures for the benefit of their party politics, which in the case of public schools is nearly always some form of socialism. You don’t see many of these mad, crazy moms out there advocating for Constitutional concepts, rather, they just want their kid safe from a dangerous world and they turn to these crazy leftist teachers to give them instruction as to what they should be thinking about, whether the issue is transgender bathrooms or the fictions of global warming. When you dig just a little bit into the motives of public education and its supporters it becomes clear quickly how vastly evil it is, and how it exploits the natural biological inclinations of motherhood, especially among young ones who are still babies themselves. I would say anybody under 40 is still a baby who has a lot to learn. Yet those babies are making decisions the rest of us who know better constantly must live with and we get tired of it.

Rather than just taking it, many have been fighting back and that is new. The fights have sustained themselves over the many years that we have all been doing this, and they have formed their own cells of leadership that have not required a lot of maintenance. For me, four or five years ago it was a drain to cover everything for everyone, but now that has not been required. A change agency in the culture of public education has taken its own flight and does not need so much input to sustain a drive. And that has been good for challenging the basic premise of public education in a way it has always deserved. To give it a false value just because it was the only thing, has been a disaster for several generations of young people and we should be angry about it. And for me, its good to see that many are and are doing something about it.

Of course, the elections of November 5th will have winners and losers, there always are. What matters is that the desire to fight back is very much alive and has put directly many issues on the ballots across the nation that are healthy, and different from the narratives from a decade ago. People who have been in the trenches fighting are still doing so and are far from conquered, and the cracks in the other side are showing. While the pro government school types every year replenish their troops with a new generation of mad mothers looking toward socialism to protect their little child from the world, the foundations they use to beat us all over the head with are crumbling, and its about time. We will never have real solutions as long as their screaming voices drown out logic, when they would sacrifice everything to have busing when the more philosophical elements of public education need to be re-invented from the foundation up. It was good to hear from real friends whom I’ve come to know over the years and to learn that their spirits are far from broken. Rather, they are poised to take the fight to the next level where it belongs and to finally wear out the system that has been so destructive to the minds of kids everywhere.

Bipartisanship on the Lakota School Board is a Fantasy: Why being a Republican matters when managing money is the objective

One thing that is very obvious, especially this time around within the Lakota school district, and specifically Butler County, Ohio is this complete falsehood that any school board is a non-partisan entity sacrificing their time and energy for children. Wrong! School boards, especially the one at Lakota, are extremely partisan and they want to appear that way so they can get elected in Butler County to anything, due to the conservative electorate demographics that are required. When board members past and present like Ray Murray, Julie Shaffer and many others declare that there should never be an “R” or a “D” next to the name of a school board member they are wearing a mask of falsehood meant to deceive us all. They want to project that school boards giving children an education is “bigger” than politics and that people like me are trying to divide our community with partisan bickering. They are liars, and thieves, and no better. I would go on to say that they are scum of the earth because of their deceitful nature. School boards are nothing but partisan because of the liberal element that comes with every government school due to labor union membership. You can’t accept as an endorsement the school labor union but not the endorsement of the local political party and expect to make a case for neutrality on it, which is precisely what those two idiots have been doing.

Think about it, during this election season which ends on Tuesday November 5th 2019 we have continued hearing about this big budget surplus from Lakota of over $100 million, and rising. Ray Murray and Julie Shafer have been critical of the Republican endorsements of both Lynda O’Connor and James Hahn because in their view the school board is a non-partisan collection of community members, yet they were proud to get the endorsement of the LEA labor union. Julie will even say that she is a registered Republican. Well, all those statements are is a trick or treat mask. The labor union wants those two losers (Julie and Ray) on the board to make contract negotiations easier for them as Lakota blows a ton of money on a $200 million long term facilities plan entailing rehab, renovation, and replacements of buildings and much more which is not in that 5 year forecast that everyone has been beating on their chest in regards to that $100 million surplus. Believe me, the liberals on the board, wither or not they call themselves Republicans or Democrats already have that money spent, which is the cause of this emergency prior to the election for proper school board members.

Finally we have a choice to get a three vote majority. If either Ray or Julie get elected, that $200 million project is getting greenlit and that $100 million surplus is gone. If voters stay home that night and don’t vote, the endorsed labor union candidates will get elected and this chance to safeguard the budget will fly right out the window and it won’t take but a short time for us to go into another levy fight. While its true, I’d rather think about other things than this stupid Lakota school issue, because honestly, I’ve never been a big fan of the work government schools do with children. If we are going to have a big, giant black hole of a government taxation agency programming our children into liberal propaganda, then at least we can elect a school board to manage the money with true Republicans who are fiscal conservatives, or at least can read a balance sheet and understand what the treasurer tells them.

I’d rather not dig into the lives of these people, and I call them losers for a good reason. Especially the more I learn about them. Between Ray and Julie, I’ve heard enough. I didn’t have a very high impression of them before this election, and now that we’ve been through a few months of campaigning, I’ve learned enough to be disgusted by them. I have no question that they are liars and completely inadequate in managing any sum of money. Julie Shaffer may be a registered Republican, but she doesn’t vote like one. She is clearly one in name only, and she want’s to keep that mask on to even have a shot at winning anything in Butler County, just like her predecessor Joan Powell and the many others following in her wake who have pretended to be Republicans only to turn into big, sloppy liberals. You bet it matters what political party they are affiliated with, that’s how we measure their basic values and getting the respect of a political party enough to get an endorsement means a lot.

As I’ve said before, school board members are our representatives to protect our interests. How can they do that if it is the enemy of our interests who endorse them? And yes, the teacher’s union is the enemy of our interests. When they negotiate for the next union contract in a few short years the leaders of the teacher’s union aren’t thinking about the kids, they are only thinking of making more money and if they don’t get it, they will threaten to strike. They won’t care one bit if the kids don’t have a classroom to go to or if they are serving a good example as adults while they negotiate with the school board. The teacher’s union want weak people to negotiate with which is why they are endorsing Julie Shaffer and Ray Murray. None of them want Lynda and Jim on a board together, you can bet that because they will vote no against a lot of liberal ideas the teacher’s union wants to do with our tax money, such as implement transgender bathrooms while they blow through that $100 million surplus like gambling addicts at a casino.

The only reason anybody would say school boards should be non-partisan is because they want to wear a mask to hide their true intentions behind. Julie is no conservative and Ray Murray is even less of one than she is, and they don’t want to talk about it because they want a chance to get elected. By making politics a non-issue they can continue to deceive voters into thinking it doesn’t matter, or placate them to stay home on election night while the vermin of the teacher’s union go out in droves and vote for losers so that their next contract negotiation is in the bag along with those $200 million facility improvements that nobody is talking about yet, quite on purpose. Are those harsh words, is it fair to talk about the character flaws of Julie and Ray during an election for a silly school that sticks its nose in our lives in very intrusive ways, all the time? You bet your ass it is. These are nothing but robbers who want to steal money from the rest of us and I get tired of them lying to my face, and to the rest of us. Where is Julie going to find $200 million for those facility plans if she can’t even find her pants? I can promise that the endorsed Republicans on the board, especially Lynda O’Connor and James Hahn would never be involved in such embarrassing situations, you know why? Because they are Republicans, real ones. That’s not to say that they are made of the robes of Jesus, but they are pretty much what they say they are, even in social situations. The politics of any candidate matters and there is a reason the LEA wants people to wear the masks of bi-partisanship—it’s so that they can rob the bank of Lakota and hold our kid’s hostage while they steal from all of us. And if that sounds harsh, I would argue that its not harsh enough.

Pot Smoking and Ray Murray: The school board candidate who wants to shoot teachers if they have a gun

The Ray Murray I knew back in 2011 was nowhere to be found at the VOA Miami University debate on October 22, 2019 for potential school board candidates. I always thought Ray was a nice guy, but the person speaking at that event sounded like a drug induced lunatic. Suspicious of the things he said that night it became clear thereafter that there was a good reason. Under Case Number 0000477720 Ray looks to have been convicted of possession of marijuana and had to serve a year of probation. After seeing that, I would normally doubt that such a report would be accurate. So I checked it with two different sources and, after watching him in action and looking scraggly and worn out in ways I wouldn’t normally associate with him, there is good reason to believe it and then some. He sounded like a guy on drugs as he opened the door to scrutiny by talking about his years as a Chicago police officer and a champion for transgender politics. He painted himself for an election to be a virtuous person, but reality has something else to say.

Here is the problem with electing people with serious issues into a budgetary position, once they are compromised, whether it is in several broken marriages, drug use, being a cop and being scared of being shot at, people like that tend to side with the worst that our society produces. While its fine to feel sorry for them, and if they find meaning in life in a church by becoming some definition of a pastor, we should cheer them on for recovery. But we should not sit them down and ask them to control a budget of nearly $200 million while sitting on a cash surplus of over $100 million. If we did, we should expect all that money to go up in smoke just like any other pot smoking loser. Compassion is one thing, endorsing failure with elections however is something else.

I would go further and say that anybody who does drugs of any kind, even drinking is a cause to not vote for someone onto a school board. And Ray isn’t the only one guilty of this kind of scandalous behavior. I would say that his partners of liberalism on the school board have done far, far worse. Should we talk about it, well let’s just say, we don’t want to embarrass their children, although I would argue that honesty dictate that we should. When we vote for someone to represent us on a school board, or a trustee, commissioner, representative, senator, anything, we need to know what we are voting for. If we decide we want to vote for flawed people, then that’s fine. We shouldn’t be surprised when those flawed people get bad results, but at least we know what we are voting for. If Ray needs help with drugs, lets get him help. But that doesn’t mean we should put him in charge of millions of dollars.

Compromised people tend to look for redemption in public acts, which is why a lot of liberals are dangerous. People like Ray Murray and Julie Shaffer are so compromised with embarrassing things that they have done in their lives that they are looking for redemption with elected office, and they are using taxpayer funded resources to cover their weaknesses. Because they want compassion for the ways they have lived their lives, they are quick to support topics like transgender policies so that they can hide in the crowd and get redemption. They vote in favor of the teacher’s union because they need a cover story of friends to hide their own weaknesses behind with a big banner above their heads stating that nobody is perfect, lets show some compassion for the downtrodden. That sounds fine coming from a church pew on Sunday, but in the world of money, finance and education, it has no place. People who live their lives clean and don’t drink themselves into oblivion or smoke a bunch of dope to forget about all their problems in life, should be in charge of things and have the public trust. And if they get caught doing bad things, we may not blast them out of a cannon and forget about them. We may give them a second chance at life, but certainly we wouldn’t elect them to a board to handle a multimillion-dollar budget.

Being likeable isn’t the same thing as being logical and cool headed when tough decisions need to be made. One thing that must be considered when we are talking about school board candidates that have shown mental instability, and drunkenness and smoking pot or elements of both conditions, is that upon election we give them a badge to get into any building within Lakota. If they are depressed about something who is to say that some drug dealer selling them a bag of pot won’t get a hold of that badge and use it to get into any school building on a rampage of violence, the kind of potential tragedy that we have all been talking about. What was it that Ray said at the debate, that if a teacher had a gun, he would want the police officer to shoot the teacher? Yes, that’s what he said, does that sound like a person who has it all together? Yet his only answer to the problem is to trust the system, yet what if one of these loose cannon school board members ends up drunk and passed out somewhere and someone gets a hold of their badge so they can get into any school? No matter how much we spend on security, you can’t prepare a school to defend stupid and reckless behavior on behalf of the school board members.

Many think its hip and cool to have pot smokers and drunks on the school board. But its no wonder that they always seek institutional support because if something goes wrong, its likely going to be their fault and they want to always reserve the right to hide their faults behind good intentions, such as transgender support and spending that $100 million surplus on give-a-ways to keep anybody from looking too deeply at them. Of course, the teacher’s union wants compromised people on the board of education, because it makes it easier for them to defeat the board upon contract negotiations. When we elect school board members, we are electing our representatives. The teacher’s union has their representatives and they stick together. We elect ours with these elections, so why would we want to vote for anybody who has a union endorsement? We shouldn’t. Then we must ask why the union is endorsing them. Well, the answer to that is that they think they are easy to beat in contract negotiations. If you are the teacher’s union, would you rather go up against a tough business person like James Hahn and Lynda O’Connor, or some dude caught with pot or a person who can’t hold their liquor in public and ends up in compromising positions, all too often. The answer is obvious.

Its not wrong to want to help someone like Ray who no matter what has gone on in his life is at least getting up and trying to do better each day. But when there are problems managing marriages, money in his personal finances, and with substance abuse, then why should we think he can protect his badge from some malicious personality, and to protect our budget surplus. He’s ready to spend all of that $100 million over a 38-year period and to shoot teachers when cops come to a school during a mass incident if they have a gun. Ray might be a good neighbor and a nice guy to go to church with, but he clearly has trouble understanding money and cannot take a strong position on ethical decisions. Being one of the misfit toys out in the world does not make him a good representative of our school board. And feeling sorry for someone is not a qualification to make management decisions.

Everything You Need to Know about the Lakota School Board Candidates of 2019: The Teacher’s Union is ready to steal $100 million

It’s not my favorite topic in the world, but locally, the school board race for Lakota in Butler County, Ohio is a great opportunity for improvement, or a projected, unmitigated failure. And in a lot of ways, how goes things in the Lakota school district, the rest of the country follows, due to the amount of money that is involved and the situation involving government employee unions and the overall position of the Trump administration during a second term not yet resolved. There is over $100 million of surplus in the Lakota budget that the teacher’s union is licking its chops to get a hold of, and they are up for a contract renewal in 2021, and they have picked their candidates in this one. They want the budget novices Julie Shaffer and Ray Murray to be the winning votes during those negotiations and have supported them during this election. So, I have provided the full video of the recent Miami University VOA Meet the Candidates debate which was very well done I might add, so that voters can make up their own minds about this upcoming election. The differences between the candidates couldn’t be more obvious as presented here in the format totality.

Obviously from that video Lynda O’Connor has a lot of experience and is business friendly. I’ve known her for a long time and after sifting through the smoke of political theater have come to trust her with millions and millions of dollars of budget. So much so that I have felt I didn’t have to cover everything little thing that Lakota has been doing, instead looking more at national and international issues involving the Trump administration. But local issues will always be the core of what we do in our republic. The quality of who we vote for regionally has a direct impact on the national elements so we should never take our eye off the importance of local elections. And for that, Lynda certainly has my vote. And so does James Hahn. This is his first time running for the school board of any kind and he was obviously a little nervous in the video. I know him as well and can say that he’s a lot more comfortable with a balance sheet involving vast sums of money than either Julie or Ray is. I actually know all of them well at this point and without question Lynda and Mr. Hahn are the far better choices, especially for the many millions of dollars that are at stake.

Ray and Julie both will say in interviews and in those latte sipping formats with other voters that they don’t care about endorsements from either political party. Yet they are endorsed by the teacher’s union at Lakota and those members are very active on Facebook and other social media networks pushing for these two big spenders to be on the board so they can have easy access to that $100 million. Its like a bank robbery being planned through an election. The money is sitting there in the vault and the union plans to break into that safe to take it by electing union insiders onto the board and taking away fiscal conservatives like Lynda out of their way with a simple vote. It’s an off-year election so voter turnout will be typically low. The union members and their families will show up to vote for the pillaging of that surplus so that is what is at stake in this election, theft, or protection of that $100 million surplus.

It was in that video which I referred to earlier in another article that Ray Murray had said that it would take 38 years to spend that much surplus money, so to his mind, why not spend it and give it to people who need it. He was speaking just like a bank robber in the Old West preparing to loot a town for the plights of the poor and downtrodden. Only I’m not so sure that Ray Murray is the good pastor of a church that he says he is. Without question Ray is a likeable guy full of charisma, but so are a lot of bank robbers and other types of villains. If they can get something out of you without things getting messy, of course its better for them, and I would contend that is precisely what Ray is up to. I don’t think he’s as stupid as he’s acting in that video. If he and Julie get on the school board together, they will give that surplus money to the teacher’s union that has endorsed them and we’ll have another very contentious school levy in 2022 which is not that far off.

Of course, we have a choice at this point, we could elect James Hahn and Lynda O’Connor, (both of them) to get a third conservative vote on the school board to protect that money. It would be like hiring extra security at the bank so that looters couldn’t rob the money. Jim doesn’t need to know much as a first-time board member, he just needs to understand money, which he does. The debate itself didn’t go too far into these issues because it wasn’t meant to. It was a nice surface community thing that was meant to be a softball game so to be in the realm of Ray and Julie’s comfort zone. Conservatives never look as good in those types of debates because they tend to talk over the heads of common voters. The details of such large budgets require smart people and both Lynda and James are, but such a debate format doesn’t want to show how smart people are, only how compassionate, giving, and likeable they can be which feeds straight into the union narrative for their looting scheme.

It was a nice event, the debate, but I did notice something that was unusual about those types of events, before the narrative went down the rabbit hole on transgender bathrooms, guns on teachers—or rather the lack of them, and how we would never spend that $100 million surplus in 38 years. At the beginning of the debate there was no pledge of allegiance to the flag. I’ve been going to these kinds of events for many years and there is always some sort of acknowledgment to the flag of the United States. But not this time. Lynda and Jim are trying to bring to the board of education a conservative presence to protect the budget surplus that we currently have at Lakota. And they are also trying to create a friendlier business climate to steer away from the extortion tactics of the past by Lakota against potential investors. And they are both flag waving Americans. But as the board is now, Lynda is outvoted 3 to 2 and Lakota like all public schools is controlled by the very progressive America hating teacher unions. And the evidence was clear in that debate by the absence of the pledge of allegiance. Thieves don’t honor the structure of the bank of the investors. They just want to rob it and to use the money for their own efforts. And that is what the teacher’s union at Lakota wants to do with Ray and Julie, elect them so that the surplus will fall into the hands of the robbers. And to hell with the American flag, and the conservatives of Butler County who live in the Lakota district. They are counting on everyone staying home on election night so that they can sneak into that bank and take that $100 million without firing a metaphorical shot and enriching themselves in the process at all of our expense.

The question is, will you let them?

Creating Crises for Change Agency: Why so many are so angry about Syria

It is truly scary to think how close we came to having Mitt Romney as president in 2012, Mr. Pierre Delecto. If you add him to John Kasich who was governor of Ohio during that election, its no wonder the GOP lost all the time. Those guys just suck. Horrible representatives of conservative values and in the scheme of things, before there was a Donald Trump in politics, they were the good guys. We all suspected how deep the deep state was, and why we had troops all over the world supporting make work wars just for the benefit of having something to do and always a crisis to manage. You would think that more Democrats would be happy that Trump is pulling our troops out of Syria and asking other countries to pay their own way in matters of conflict, but nobody in government is happy about it, because essentially it exposes them for not really having anything better to do. They create the crises, then they send resources to manage the crises, all the while enriching themselves in the process. And now that we have a president that is exposing that scheme people like Romney are apocalyptic. If there is anything good coming of it, it is that conservative radio and talk shows are finally starting to see how the game has been played all along. Rush Limbaugh had a particularly good show about it, seen below, as did Laura Ingraham on Fox.

One of the first rules of change agency is to create a false crisis, a situation where people in a panic will make decisions, they otherwise wouldn’t make to usher in a change state to their daily lives. And nothing provokes change more than a war without end. I would think that the Hollywood anti-war protestors would be supporters of President Trump due to his desire to turn away from that chaos of global war machine politics. Instead they have turned toward the next crises, an invented diatribes like “climate change.” They are hoping to see the President impeached before the swamp is drained and all their tricks for creating crises are exposed. Wars used in this modern era, as we have clearly witnessed by the evidence, are make work programs for the lazy, and institutionalized thinkers, such as the Harvard educated Mitt Romney. Trump’s election has turned the world he thought he understood on its head leaving us all thankful that the common sense of the American people made an important change in electing Trump before it was too late, which in 2012 was at the precipice. Many in the Tea Party movement were seeing the writing on the wall, much earlier even than 2009 when things really started to get heated. But the panic now, for losers like “Pierre Delecto,” is that their make work wars have been exposed and that the world will forever be changed, and that they don’t understand their place in it.

Rush was correct, these political class players used our love of military, patriotism, and country to create a military complex that we would cheerfully send over seas to manage other people’s problems all in the name of crises management. Yet the crises were created by hidden agents operating behind the curtain, infusing a little anger here in some socialist cell in the Middle East, or making it so that America couldn’t fly into space but through Russian agents due to cutbacks at NASA. And we were all supposed to accept these ridiculous limits and provocations and like it. Then when we elected a different kind of politician that would turn the GOP into a true Republican Party, politicians like Mitt Romney and John Kasich fell into an all-out panic. They had spent their lives learning the rules and now the rules were all thrown out the window. If we had elected Romney, the Republican Party would essentially slide more to the left and become what the Democrats would like to be about now.

You can see the weakness of these arrogant institutionalists when pressed, Mr. Pierre Delecto uttered “C’est moi,” just to show everyone how educated and “New English” he is while confirming his clandestine Twitter account so critical of President Trump. He was so eager for some reporter at Slate to sniff at his breadcrumbs and tell the world that Romney wasn’t such a boring guy after all, and that he really hated the president desperately, because essentially, he had lost at his chance. He’d rather have someone in the White House that he understands even if they are from the other party. Sounds a lot like James Comey as he talked about drinking wine while leaving Washington after being fired from his job by Trump as another worthless beltway bureaucrat. These people, who we used to call conservatives are simply coastal liberals who have no idea what makes the rest of the country tick, and they have no desire to learn because they are representatives of institutionalism, and that behavior seeks to justify themselves through chaos and crises. They never did want any solutions to any problems, they just wanted problems so they could appear to do things about it, while making themselves wealthy off the process. A quick look at how much incoming senators make as opposed to what they make leaving office tells the whole story. It is insulting that these types of people were upset with Trump for wanting to host the G7 at Doral. I still think he should.

If not for the Trump election none of this would have been exposed, but it is now. Better yet, conservative outlets are no longer treating the subject as a vast conspiracy, but as real news, as it always was. The best thing that could happen is that people like Mitt Romney and John Kasich be flushed from conservative thinking and that the GOP form under the small government tendencies of the Trump administration. The hypocrisy couldn’t be more obvious, even from a giant media company like Disney who should love the Trump administration for its anti-war stance, its solution-based trade wars, and economic sanctions which hit villains in the pocketbook, not in innocent collateral damage. If it’s not obvious by now, our military is not exactly a bastion of conservatism. They are by nature big government bureaucrats which Trump learned while trying to put them in his administration. Troops might vote for Republicans, but generals are very liberal in their thinking, and they love to have perpetual wars with no solutions in sight because it keeps everyone fed with make work programs and reasons to celebrate with dinner parties for the heroes of the movement. You would think that more people would support pulling back the troops but now that someone in the Executive Branch is actually planning to do it, without asking for permission, the outrage is rather explosive, and for our benefit, very revealing. There is nothing new about it, but we do now see a truth that has always been there. And it’s a good thing that we finally did, and that news types, such as Rush Limbaugh are finally addressing it for what it is. We had to admit that our GOP was not fully conservative and that our former politicians were just as corrupt as the Democrats. To me, Trump’s anti-war stance is a liberal one, and he is not what I would call a strong conservative. But next to Mitt Romney and John Kasich, and many others, Trump is the most conservative politician to ever sit in the White House, or anywhere for that matter.

The Meaning of Life: It is to grow as an individual, not to hide behind collectivism–the real cause of both World Wars

It is coming up more and more, largely due to the kind of president that we have in the White House these days, but the understanding of individualism as opposed to collectivism is quite the topic. As I have been saying, much of the consternation about President Trump is that he acts on his own, without a bunch of consultants and his own political party guiding him on the decision-making process. This is not at all unusual in the private sector where a CEO may answer to a board of directors and the shareholders, but as far as running a company, they tend to be front of the train decision makers by default and very secure in their personal considerations. Its particularly an aspect of American business to produce those types of people to lead companies. This of course stands as a stark contrast to the way our political system operates, especially under the umbrella of government employment. And is a topic of considerable importance.

Not to provoke a lot of unnecessary conspiracy theories, and the research will come clean with time, but I have a nagging feeling that it was Thus Spoke Zarathustra from Frederick Nietzsche that provoked both World War 1 and World War II—the second world war being caused by the sanctions of the first. But the first being driven by a European hatred of the kind of individually based thinking that was coming out of Germany by way of the anti-institutionalist Nietzsche. It’s essentially the same kind of hatred that is being leveled from the same type of people toward President Trump. That does not mean to conclude that Trump is a Nazi, far from it. At that time of that very powerful book by Nietzsche the works of Karl Marx was also coming out of Germany and the governments of Europe loved the idea. It gave them a chance to level the playing field where a political class ran by the traditional power brokers could issue out fairness. But Nietzsche was saying something else that went against all that, and the concept was not welcomed. They wanted socialism in Europe not individualism. That left Hitler to rot in jail stewing on all these complexities only to mix the various German philosophies into madness resulting in a dark period of history.

However, going back to the ideas of Thus Spoke Zarathustra there is something very revolutionary going on, which can be seen for the first time in the presidency of Donald Trump. It’s the idea that the fully developed individual has great power over the masses, and that the attempts to teach those masses the benefits is a fruitless exercise, usually. And that those best equipped to rule themselves and others are those best able to think on their own, far away from the kind of group think that is so common today. President Trump is showing that the concepts of self-rule, self-thought, and self-action are very much alive and were not destroyed by the wars of Europe which pulled the entire world into their rebellion against the basic premise that it is individuals who hold the meaning of life, not self-sacrifice to the void of existence.

My happiest state is when I’m alone free to think what I want as long as I want to. It is hard to see just how much I am in love with that state because I seldom get that kind of time to myself. I do believe that I could spend decades completely alone with just my thoughts, but that is me speaking from a vantage point of only a few hours a week. There is always someone who needs something of my time and that comes from being a good, competent person. People need you and I am the type of person who will always try to help, much like Zarathustra did at the beginning of that famous book. Only I don’t get frustrated and go back to my cave like he did, but I have the energy to try and try again even if it looks to be fruitless. But truth be told, I am happiest when I am alone, and this is not the condition of most people. Most people are terrified to be alone and they will go way out of their way to find companionship and to talk to people about something, anything. For them contacts with other human beings fills them with energy they wouldn’t otherwise have. For me, it robs me of sustenance. I never feel good after speaking with a large group of people. Its always work. But for most, it’s the goal of their existence.

In that way, I would say that the meaning of life is to overcome this shackle to needing others. We were never meant to be born, learn over our lifetimes only to die into some primordial goo back to the dirt we came from. We were meant to start off as a blank slate driven by DNA programming, then to take that and to construct a self-thinking individual, because it is from there that all creation springs forth, and thus the furtherance of existence. Nietzsche figured this out leading to madness at an early age and the concept was so terrifying that the governments of the world declared war on Germany to suppress such thoughts, and what came forth was the spread of Marxism which benefited the governments. What was pushed deep down into our culture with the stigma of being affiliated with the racist Nazi’s was Nietzsche’s ideas on individualism, much distorted by Nietzsche’s sister after his death.

And now that we have President Trump who has emerged essentially straight out of the pages of Zarathustra, we have the deep fear and hatred emerging that has always been there and had killed millions and millions of people in the hopes of surpassing the concept. Ayn Rand, the American author would go much further than Nietzsche and write better books about individualism and how it fuels the world of creation taking mankind away from the primitive notion of sacrifice, yielding to the forces of the universe, and essentially surrendering everything we were meant to become at the moment of death to the forces of nature, instead of using it to make something new. And that hatred has remained and will until the human race makes a decision on the matter. In any democracy, where most of society is of the type who needs the companionship of others, and the pursuits of individualists are demonized, it is clear that the conflict will ensue in spite of the odds of success not being favorable. Just because most of the world is populated by group thinkers it doesn’t mean they are the best or brightest, only the most numerous. Take the situation with every mass shooter where their three proper names are given to better illustrate their individual nature, and their tendency to be loners. The attempt by the masses to deal with the carnage is to seek affiliation with the evils of self-rule. Standing on your own leads to madness “they” will say, when actually it is the other way around. Going crazy is to follow the masses back into their deaths of dust and sand erasing from the earth everything they made to brand. And that is not a new story, but one that has different endings and is culminating in our present time in ways that nobody ever thought possible.

Everything You Need to Know about Ukraine: The “false solution” of the Democrat Party to remove Trump from office to hide their own crimes

It was never a conspiracy, but there are a lot of people who’d like you to believe it is. The real reason that the Democrats want to impeach Trump is out of their own preservation on many levels, mostly the debacle that has always been lingering out there involving Ukraine and the many billions of dollars that were lost out of tax payer funded assistance, which without question has trickled back out into several directions to build the media correlation that we see now that has been largely anti-Trump in its narrative. Many liberals in politics use what magicians call a false solution in order to establish a psychological misdirection to perform whatever trick they are attempting and there is an actual science to it. In that science, there is massive theft going on that is enriching many beltway participants, far beyond people like John Kerry’s son, Joe Biden’s son and obviously the fall guy Paul Manafort who was placed into the Trump campaign as part of the sell. Unfortunately for all these criminals and outright thieves which go straight into the Obama White House and the Hillary Clinton campaign of 2016 and was assisted by the FBI with a clear document trail that Glenn Beck established quite clearly in this remarkable bit of reporting he did on his Blaze television show, the evidence is quite clear as to their guilt. You would do well to watch the entire episode shown below and to share it with a friend, because this is what’s really going on with Ukraine and the desperate attempts the Democrats have to cover their crimes by getting rid of the one person in the entire world who can expose them, President Trump.

One thing that Beck didn’t cover much in his scathing report on the who, what, when and where regarding why so much American attention was involved with Ukraine to begin with is the whole false solution robbery that is the center of all activity there for which Paul Manafort was set up from the beginning as an insert into the Trump campaign to destroy it from within. You’ll have to remember dear reader that in the summer of 2016 even with Trump obviously clear to secure the Republican nomination the political beltway types didn’t give the New York billionaire much of a chance of winning the presidency over Hillary Clinton. The sentiment, even with the Wikileaks emails revealing major problems within the DNC and the Clinton campaign itself, that Hillary would easily beat Trump and that the White House would stay in the hands of Democrats. So, they were sloppy in their dealings in the Ukraine to funnel money and buy favors within the media paying off a lot of mortgages and providing a lot of vacations to exotic locations for those they wanted to influence.

To see how they played the trick of building up and positioning Manafort you would have to go back to March of 2016 where a reporter for Brietbart News, Michelle Fields complained that the previous Trump campaign manager Cory Lewandowski had forcibly grabbed her at an event in Jupiter, Florida which she pressed charges. At the time several other candidates were still hanging on to secure the Republican nomination, so the accusation was obviously political. Also at that time people still believed that political consultants and campaign managers were how you won a political race. Trump was running his own campaign which nobody had really seen before, so the thought was that Lewandowski had some kind of magic sauce and that if that were removed, then Trump might fail. Also, at that time was the very real possibility that Trump would win the nomination and beat his rivals to go up against Hillary Clinton, so Paul Manafort was hired to secure delegates at the convention, which of course caused a power struggle between Lewandowski and Manafort.

Once Trump saw that he had a real shot, but the media wasn’t giving him the credit he deserved he moved toward Manafort to shut up the constant criticisms by the media about his chances at maintaining dominance at a contested convention in the upcoming summer, so he needed he felt a mainstreamer in Manafort to represent him. The Trumps as a family had never done anything like this political campaign before so they wanted to put to ease all the claims that Donald Trump wasn’t experienced enough to hire the “right” kind of people. Manafort was dangled out there like cheese in a mouse trap to shut up all the critics but what was really going on was that Manafort had been a plant all along to derail the Trump campaign at the last minute and attach this Russian corruption story by Manafort to Donald himself in the last days of the campaign giving Hillary Clinton an easy shot at the White House. Clearly the Democrats wanted Trump to win the nomination over the other Republican rivals so that they could have what they thought would be an easy win in November for their party. What they didn’t expect Trump to do was to fire Manafort in August once he had secured the nomination and hire Steve Bannon and Kellyanne Conway.

The Russian corruption story was what Democrats had been building all through the nomination process to hide their embezzlement of billions of dollars siphoned off the Ukraine involvement, so they stayed with it to control Trump no matter what happened in the election. The FBI had been involved and found itself stuck with maintaining the story even though it was quite clear that Hillary Clinton should not have been the Democrat nominee due to her email problems with her server. Director Comey found himself in a tough place, his wife and daughters wanted Hillary to be the first woman president but he was running an FBI that understood the rule of law had been violated and Loretta Lynch had been caught on an airplane making deals with Bill Clinton to put the whole email investigation to bed and to get control of the FBI from the Department of Justice. So, Comey tried to play it both ways and give everybody what they wanted, which caused him to open, close then reopen the case just days before the election which kept the whole Hillary Clinton scandal open right up to the election.

The unthinkable happened, Trump won the White House and this left all these corrupt players now exposed with lots and lots of loose ends, so they did the only thing they thought they could, they attacked Trump right out of the gate so they could pull the pin on the Russian connection established by Manafort from the outset. Only there was no Russia story, it involved them, not Trump and being smart the new president wouldn’t play along. If he had been the type of person who listened to political consultants and danced to the media strings like most past presidents had, they may have duped him into playing along. But, as a billionaire, he didn’t need their money or their opinions, so he followed his own instincts giving their attempted magic trick no power over him. And now they are stuck with the story they tried to pin to him only it doesn’t fit and they have ended up looking like complete idiots.

Since so many people are involved, and likely have seen some of that stolen money come in their direction they have no choice but to stick to the story of their “false solution.” Its kind of like a magician conducting a magic trick on stage and they try to divert the attention of the audience on the false solution while they put the rabbit under the table so they can pull it out of a hat, but a little girl in the front row keeps her eyes on the magician and not the false solution and points it out to everyone embarrassing the magician greatly in the process. But the magician must keep the show going in order to save a little face as the scrutiny increases and that’s essentially what we have here. They have all been caught and they are trying everything to divert attention away from the crimes they have committed, at very high levels involving many of our best and brightest in politics and the media. Their last hope of concealing their crimes is to impeach the President of the United States. That is their only hope of getting away with the biggest scandal in not just American history, but of the world. But we’ve seen the rabbit under the table, and we can’t take our eyes away now.

Asking Questions: Elon Musk understands that answers are less important

This interview shown below with Elon Musk and the very popular YouTube Channel ‘Everyday Astronaut’ was remarkable in many ways, so it is worth sharing here for those who don’t find themselves exposed to these kinds of things. I thought both participants in this interview were covering some very extraordinary aspects of our current culture and how we are getting from here to there so to speak. For me, I think the concept and pace of engineering that is going on at SpaceX regarding the Starship MK1 is truly transitory for our civilization and is one of the most important things going on in the world today. I’m a huge fan of the work SpaceX is doing on many levels, and it didn’t surprise me to learn that Elon Musk’s primary philosophical motivation is science fiction, especially the work of Douglas Adams in his pinnacle work, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. There is of course a little Star Wars sprinkled in for good effect behind the scenes making this interview unusual in the boyish optimism displayed that is unheard of in government driven attempts at space travel and for one main reason, the understanding that its not always the answers we seek, but the question.

For me the work of Joseph Campbell has always been what has unlocked the ceiling of intellectual potential. It doesn’t matter what does it for an individual, it could be Douglas Adams, George Lucas or Joseph Campbell, what matters is that the creative work does something to unlock the limits of human understanding by provoking the questions that need to be asked, instead of always focusing on the answer. Answers to questions are relative to the interpretations of those responding. What matters more than anything no matter what the endeavor is in life is in discovering the questions that then need answers, otherwise the results are always ambiguous. For this Starship MK1 where conventional avionic development would favor composite construction, due to a lack of autoclave availability in such sizes and not wanting to wait for one to be built, SpaceX moved on to this stainless steel design, which is brilliant not just esthetically, but in function. It is an excellent example of how asking the right questions can change everything and bring to life the benefits of invention.

And watching Elon Musk give that interview was a true delight, not in that it was a stuffy discussion about how smart all the engineers are and how dangerous space flight can be, but it was beholding the energy of a child who just wanted to play with new toys for the sake of discovering new questions to ask where smart people could relish in answering those ponderances. To do something for the joy of it that changes our perception of reality is quite an important thing to do and it all starts with the mechanisms of discovering the questions that need answers, otherwise answers without questions have no relevancy. It is the question that matters more than the answer.

This is certainly the case with all leadership functions, and when people wonder why CEOs or presidents of companies are so important to growth and prosperity it is for this basic function. A company can hire hundreds if not thousands of people to answer questions, but often it is only a small number of leadership who knows how to ask questions drawn out from obscurity to set people on a pace to discover an answer. If the questions are never asked, then what work is there for people to do to resolve it? So the creative aspect of something like building this new Starship is that Elon Musk thought to ask the questions of, “why can’t we make it out of stainless steel.” “Why can’t we fly it to Mars.” “Why can’t we refuel in space?” “Why, why, why.”

When humans stop asking questions is when they cease to become effective in their roles, and their intellectual decline is not long behind. Children naturally ask lots of questions, but we are all taught that at some point, maturity means you have the answers and questions are less and less asked—which is the state of decline for any culture. Seeing Elon Musk and his engineers at SpaceX asking lots of questions that often outpace what reporters even think of considering was refreshing because its not something we see much of these days unless you happen to be at a SpaceX media event, or a gathering of geeks and freaks at a local comic con. The optimism of those events is not in the answers, but in asking about the possibilities—the what if scenarios, even in science fiction ponderances. For Musk ‘The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy’ inspired him to ask lots of questions and the results of those pursuits is in the creation of very wonderful things, like the Starship MK1 complete with its 6 Raptor engines carried to orbit by 37 others in the Super Heavy booster powered by cryogenic methane and liquid oxygen.

Innovation is always directly connected to having the ability to ask questions and to provoke a quest for answers, and that is the reason that everyone in the world is not equipped to be a leader at the level of a CEO. Its not the work that is important, the spreadsheets and presentations that are often associated with such roles, it’s in the ability to ask what if questions and to set the mind of others on fire seeking answers. A society without questions is one that is on the decline victimized by their own stagnation. And to see Elon Musk so alive with enthusiasm the way a seven-year-old might be is refreshing because we can all see the benefit. Musk when presented with a problem such as, “sir, we can’t find an autoclave anywhere in the world where we can build the fuselage out of composites.” “Well, what other material can we make it out of?” Thus, we have a question that unleashes a new technology and means to build very large craft to enter into space. Otherwise, in less innovative companies driven by less ambitious leaders, the engineering staff would have forced the project to remain on a path to stay within the confines of the accepted practices for aviation, which would be composite construction as someone builds an autoclave of the proper size.

Perhaps more important than asking the right questions is the ability to move quickly, and in that regard, that too comes from the ability to ask questions to keep everyone’s feet moving. Entering market share while imaginations are still hot is more important than all other aspects of development and the pace of engineering at SpaceX is remarkable because the employees are allowed to ask lots of questions and to drive innovation toward the proper answer for questions that are pursued beyond relativity, but in the abstract rules of science which are not discovered by any other means but in asking questions. The more questions the better. And when questions are asked, we as human beings come alive with that same excitement that we had as children discovering things for the first time, and that is what will ultimately save us. Its not the science we discover in the process, but in the quality of the questions we think to ask no matter what the means is in discovering which questions to ask as adventure demands the contemplation of a thinking species.
