“Do They Not Realize That This Is War?”: Statements on OEA’s Becki Villamangna’s Facebook page

“Do they not realize that this is war?”  These are the kind of “pro-education” advocates that Ohio Education Association representative Becki Villamangna corresponds with on her Facebook account.  Becki is the Communications/Political Action representative for the OEA and she has targeted my friend Kelly Kohls who is the school board president of Springboro for attack many times.  Due to the success of that school district in driving down their labor costs without impacting the tax payers, Becki’s arm of the OEA has aggressively attacked Kohls with all the fury of any combat maneuver in war.  CLICK HERE to read about one of Villamanga’s radical attempts to harass Kelly which I have covered here at the Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom before.  The OEA is clearly frustrated that they have lost many of their battles in Southern Ohio, particularly at the Lakota, Mason, Springboro and West Clermont school districts.  Kelly Kohls has become the focus of the massive Ohio public sector union because she has had the most success in doing what radical progressive educators fear most—management of their financial resources.  However in Northern Ohio where there hasn’t been as much pushback against the unions as there has been in the south, schools around Cleveland are still using the extreme extortion tactics that the OEA are so famous for.  (I say OEA because most teacher unions in the state of Ohio fall under the umbrella of the OEA.)  To education professionals who are COMMITTED to progressive agenda items they are in education not for children, but because they are at WAR with the public who leans toward traditional values.  Such Ohio Education Association tactics that have been attempted on a smaller scale against Kelly Kohls in Springboro are being done on a larger scale in a Cleveland, Ohio suburb as shown in the video below where teachers are on strike and retaliating against the substitute teachers the school has hired to keep the schools open for kids.  Watch this!

The striking teachers feel so entitled to their jobs that they have been posting flyers to neighbors of those employees attempting to apply peer pressure by using the classic “SCAB” terminology against the replacement workers.  The idea behind such a derogatory term is to use collectivism to impose a union will on individuals who simply want to make a living, so that labor leverage can be maintained by the striking employees.  The OEA members who are striking are firmly committed to communism, and are caught in their belief of turning the capitalist society of America into a socialist state-run by the education elite.  They of course don’t call their ideology “communism” by name, but their practice reveals their intentions.

I don’t ask you dear reader to take my word for these accusations.  I simply ask you to look at the facts.  For such proof, as the OEA is locked in their labor dispute in Cleveland trying to push replacement workers out of their jobs before the uselessness of their real teaching value is exposed as a fraud, Becki Villamagna was posting the below comments on her Facebook page during February of 2013.  Becky had just returned from a training class with her members where she received some push back as she attempted to do on the microcosm what the OEA is attempting to do on the macrocosm of Cleveland.  She openly complained about the resistance she was getting from her own members who found her Saul Alinsky strategies too “radical.”  Becki knows what she is doing; she is attempting to apply peer pressure on her OEA members by letting them know about her disapproval seeking other like-minded opinions to build up a consensus against the dissidents.  It’s a variation of The Delphi Technique done on a much smaller scale using Facebook as the Change Agent.  Have a look at her exact dialogue and a couple of responses she obtained.

Recent Becki Villamagna Facebook posting

This morning I gave a training session on electing and working with school board members. Many of you will be shocked to hear that one participant didn’t like me because some of my suggestions were too subversive and were only “dirty tricks.” Share ·

  • George Bozovich Some folks just don’t get it! February 4 at 1:05pm

Patty Ray’s response to Becki Villamagna’s posting says wonderfully what the OEA is all about and how education professionals truly think in their hearts.  The OEA is at WAR with the rest of society which is why they are attacking replacement workers in Cleveland, and why they are attacking Kelly Kohls at virtually turn.  They are at war with anyone who stands in the way of their social advancement of progressive causes and the proof is in the dialogue they use with each other when they think nobody else is looking. Of course you’ll find no newspapers that will cover this issue, because they are in on the deal.

Many, including teachers trained by Becki Villamagna are beginning to see that education is not about teaching kids with the OEA, but is about WAR.  They are just now learning what I have known for many years now.  That realization is the primary reason I named this site what I have…..Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom as opposed to something more conventional………more press friendly.  We are at war with the OEA because they started that war against those of us who value traditional American principles, particularly in education. People like Becki Villamagna, Patty Ray and the nut cases harassing substitute employees in a Cleveland suburb are villains in that war to those of us who want to see goodness being taught to children, and social stability advocated by education institutions.  It is a war by their own declaration, and actions.  I have watched their behavior for many years and decided that if they wanted war, then they’d get war.  They would be beaten intellectually, they would be beaten with radicalism—if need be, and if they wanted to get violent, they would receive it back twice for what they issued.  I prefer the intellectual debate, but when they run out of emotional bullet points and they attempt to attack personal character and toy with violence as their method of coercion they have received it back in return.

They learned this most dramatically a year ago when they tried to smear me with the famous Kroger survey.  CLICK HERE TO REVIEW.  My response was so epic that it made radio news and print media all over Cincinnati and like a football player getting a penalty for retaliating; it is usually the second player that gets the call from the referees.  But I’m willing to take the political penalty because the message to the radicals needed to be clear.  There will be pain inflicted in return for pain issued.  Those are the rules of war as instigated by the education unions.

Wars are not won with kind words and placation.  The OEA members are some of the worst people I have ever had to deal with as to radical social behavior.  They have the destruction of America in their minds and they are terrible people because their ideology makes them corrosive.  They openly use children to execute their maniacal plans for social progressive changes at the expense of society, and this defines their essence.  Wars are won by taking away from the other side the will to continue fighting.  This is what the OEA does to people like Kelly Kohls and the poor substitute teachers in Cleveland.  The OEA attacks them directly hoping to rob them of their will to stand opposed to the union’s progressive agenda.  This is why Patty Ray said on Becki’s Facebook, “Don’t they realize this is war?”  She says it because to the OEA radicals they are at war with the taxpayers.  The answer to Patty is that some do know it, I know it, Kelly knows it and thousand upon thousands of other tax payers know it now, and we are willing to engage.  The effects are already evident within Becki’s own organization.  The teachers in her union are beginning to question her methods and are fighting back against her kind with polite resistance, as Villamagna complained about on her Facebook page.  This dissension in their ranks will only widen over the coming years, and the strength of their movement will be shattered eventually.

I knew this would be the ultimate ending for the OEA union when they first came after me in the fall of 2010.  My critics might call my anger and behavior the results of “thin skin” because they expected me to take their personal attacks with the maturity of a “civilized” “white man,” as defined by progressive strategists and their view of the typical conservative American.  The hero of the OEA–Saul Alinsky described his plans in 1972 to begin to organize the white middle class across America.  The necessity of that project became his book Rules for Radicals which Vicki and the OEA unions certainly gobbled up nearly word for word in their activist practices.  Alinsky believed that what President Richard Nixon and Vice-President Spiro Agnew called “The Silent Majority” was living in frustration and despair, worried about their future, and were ripe for a turn to radical social change.  Alinsky desired to create social mechanisms to entice The Silent Majority into becoming politically active citizens. Even if Vicki Villamagna does not have Rules for Radicals on her book shelf, she has been taught the concepts instructed in that book under different names by her labor union—who widely adopted Alisnky as their prophet for radical change in America.  This is what progressive labor unions have done in our public schools, and what their part in the “WAR” is all about.  Saul Alinsky feared that the middle class could be driven to a right-wing viewpoint if progressives failed in their task, “making them ripe for the plucking by some guy on horseback promising a return to the vanished verities of yesterday.”  So thus, my strategy is now clear and its effects are beginning to be seen as the secret is no longer strategically necessary.  I have read Rules for Radicals and studied Alinsky, so I know what Villamagna is up to when she protests my friend Kelly Kohls.  I know how to beat those enemies of traditional America.  They will be beaten because they were the ones who declared war against traditional America and deserve what is coming.

As time proceeds, more and more logical people will flee from the ranks of the OEA.  They will leave because the OEA will lose this WAR and their power will erode away as their exploitive methods are continually exposed.  One of the great victories in this war is the one where Becki Villamagna has the most at stake with Kelly Kohls because Springboro is a glowing success, and will expose much of what the OEA declared for years to be complete lies.  Once that truth is revealed, there will be major dissention among the labor union ranks and the troops on the battlefield of the OEA will dissolve once their self interest is shown to be outside the union organizations.  The OEA deserves to be defeated, and smeared in the mud because of the way they treat others—namely the innocent workers trying to keep schools in Cleveland open so children can continue learning.  The intent of the radicals in the OEA is clear, and defines why they must lose the war not just quietly, but spectacularly.  As a reader here, and casual participant, you can trust that I will not disappear into a void of oblivion because I set out in this war to win it, not to come to a drawl, or shake hands and make a deal.  I set out to destroy my enemy—those who openly exploit children for their own selfish progressive desires. Kelly Kohls will also continue.  Nothing has stopped her yet, and she is proving correct in her strategies to the great success of the Springboro taxpayers.  But you dear reader can help defeat the OEA by signing the Workplace Freedom Amendment when you see it.  CLICK HERE TO CONTACT.

There is nothing that beats a progressive villain better than giving people the freedom of choice.  Progressives HATE choice just like the socialist/communist hates capitalism.  Choice destroys their order of tyranny.  By supporting Workplace Freedom you allow the teachers who told Becki Villamagna her tactics were too subversive and were only “dirty tricks, the chance to leave Becki’s organization completely which will cut off the money that supports the WAR on the progressive side.  This is how we can beat the evils of progressive advancement—simply by taking away the money they use to attack us.  In the meantime, I will continue to be that guy on horseback promising a return to the vanished verities of yesterday.  I will do it because I believe it.  But I will also do it because it is the surest way to destroy the attack of the progressives into the roots of America from which they seek complete destruction.  And I will enjoy every, single minute of it.  Justice one way or another will be obtained—it will prevail as sure as these words are written.  Yes we are at war and to answer the question of Patty Ray we do know it, and we are coming to claim the victory and enjoy the spoils of war—that was launched against us under a banner of peace.

I participate in this war because I want to be that guy on horseback promising a return to the vanished verities of yesterday and I don’t take a dime from anybody to do it.  I do it because it’s the right thing to do.

Why Government Isn’t Needed: The unspoken honor of the American Biker

DSC04543This little story is for the politically left leaning supporter who believes that government brings fairness to the world by taking from those who have and giving to those who don’t, and that security is provided under an umbrella of policing authority.  Every single day of my life I am engaged in a science experiment that has technical and behavior science ramifications which involves the motorcycle seen in the picture above.  I seldom ever part from that motorcycle as it goes virtually everywhere I do every single day of a calendar year.  I ride that motorcycle in the worst rainstorms, heaviest winds and even in the snow and ice.  One time this past year of 2013 it snowed so badly while I was out and about that I couldn’t even turn my front wheel to change direction from one road to the next.  I was regulated to only traveling in a straight line and then could not stop because the roads were so slick.  Needless to say I did not crash.  Part of my experiment is to see how much the human body can take in endurance while still performing at a high level.  The nature of riding motorcycles means that there is no room for mistakes, so they cannot be made.  By riding my motorcycle all year I get to break all kinds of perceived rules that society believes they must function under, and it gives me fresh perspectives that are useful elsewhere.

Most days riding that motorcycle is uneventful.  But over the course of 365 days a year there are always 5 to 6 days where something potentially devastating happens.  One such thing that wasn’t dangerous so much as it was technical was that I had a battery that was failing.  After so many starts through a hard winter it wasn’t holding a charge, and when temperatures dropped to under 30 degrees, I was having a hard time getting it started.  Well, one day toward the end of February I had barely managed to get the bike started at its destination for the return trip home and my fuel was extremely low.  I was worried that if I got gas on the way home, that I wouldn’t get the bike started again because it didn’t have enough amps to crank the engine over.  So I urged the bike to get as close to my home as possible.  With luck I’d get to the gas station that was about a quarter-mile from my home—but I had serious doubts.

The big bike did run out of gas about a half mile from that sought after fueling station so I put it in neutral to coast the rest of the distance.   My bike stopped rolling at the entrance to the gas station and I was able to push with my feet the motorcycle into the parking lot and up to the pump without too much extra trouble.  I filled up my tank, but as I suspected the bike wouldn’t crank over more than a couple of times, not enough to start in the cold weather.   The battery had not charged enough on the way home because I kept my RPMs down to save the gas.  So I was a quarter-mile away from home but couldn’t start my bike.  I didn’t want to call my wife because she was watching our grandchild for one of my daughters and I didn’t wish to bother her.   So I started pushing the motorcycle that weighs about 800 pounds up the busy roadway toward my home.

There is a slight hill that I had to go up and along the way twice two motorists stopped to help me.   Both men were summertime bikers and wanted to help a fellow motorcyclist.  They offered me a ride or gas without any pretension of inconvenience.  I asked them if they had jumper cables as my bike has a computer and cannot be kick started, or push-started in the usual way.  It has to be started off the battery.  Neither man had jumper cables with them so they wouldn’t be able to help.  The second guy who stopped was a die-hard Harley Rider with a long beard that hung down over his stomach.  He had a very nice warm truck that I could feel the heat coming out of as he spoke to me.  It was very tempting to get into his passenger’s seat and have him take me home.  Yet I didn’t want to leave my bike on the side of a busy road, even though my home was very nearby.  Instead I waved the help along and thanked them for their concern.  I decided to push my big bike the rest of the way home, which is what I proceeded to do in small intervals up the hill.  It took me an additional 45 minutes, but eventually I was in my driveway and safe in my garage where I could make the necessary repairs and get the bike ready for the next day’s travel.

The guys who stopped to help me were not told by government to assist.  They did it out of mutual respect.  Being bikers themselves, they wanted to help a fellow motorcyclist.  They didn’t know me from anybody else, they only saw that I was pushing my motorcycle up a hill and they wanted to help—because as both men said—“I’ve been there a time or two myself.”  But I did not accept their help because I did not want to abandon my motorcycle in favor of comfort.  So I struggled to push the bike up the hill in the freezing cold because if I hadn’t I would have wished later that I had toughed it out.  Both bikers looked at me a bit odd when I reported to them that I’d push the bike the rest of the way home, but neither found the information alien.

It never even occurred to me to call the police, or Triple AAA or any organization for help with my predicament.  I ride the motorcycle every day to solve problems like that from time to time.  People under their own volition wished to help me, and I didn’t need government to get home.  I picked as I always do, the most “self-reliant” option there was, and because I challenged the bike to get close to my house before running out of gas I gave myself the option of pushing it home if all systems failed—which they did.

In the absence of government Americans naturally want to help each other.  Charity comes from respect and occurs because people want to do good things.  The bikers who wanted to help me didn’t do it out of fear of being struck down by God if they drove on by, and they didn’t do it because they were paid by the tax payer to help stranded motorists.  They did it because they too were bikers and they respected another biker to the level that they wanted to help if they could out of their own free-will, no government involvement at all.  The same happens wherever government is not–even to this day.  The good is easy to see in people where government has not stepped in to be the un-necessary mediator of disputes—which I get to see a few times a year because of my tendency to ride motorcycles beyond the safety net of normal society.  All government systems could fail, as they do during emergencies, and people help each other without being told to out of sheer respect for their fellow human beings.  Such behavior is not driven from fearful submission to authority, or altruistic compassion, but out of a sincere desire to help a fellow-man in their plight to do their daily activities.  In the case of the bikers they are acting on self-interest ultimately.  They hope that I or somebody else will do the same if they get into trouble, so they offer up the help so the network is nonverbally maintained.

In life if all government was shut down, and all tax payer funded activities were removed, my journey home that day would have been the same.  The gas station would have still had gas when I needed it because it’s to their financial incentive to have what I need when I need it.  And those two guys would have still stopped.  But because of my tendency toward self-reliance I didn’t need their help, although it was appreciated.  As for the roads and my use of them, I paid an enormous amount of state tax at the pump when I bought my gas which more than paid for my use of the pavement that day.  I got my bike home and fixed without the intrusion of any government representative even in the form of a police officer.  That is a trend that will continue.  It is because of such realizations that I have less and less respect for those who vote in large government programs to provide a “safety net” for their lives.  I avoid such safety like a man on fire seeks water.  I stay as far away from them as possible, which is the primary reason I ride a motorcycle every single day of the year no matter what the weather.  It is good to know these kinds of things, and most of the time they can only be seen by doing what nobody else is willing to do.  It rests in my mind the argument that government could be greatly reduced and America would actually improve instead of decline, because the will to do good is still in people like the two guys who stopped to help me in a quarter-mile stretch of road.  Such good people are still out there, but we just don’t see them because government stands in the way of us discovering such facts about each other.  Government wishes to maintain the myth that they are needed, when in fact they are simply in the way.

And by the way, if the goof balls in The United Nations ever think they can get control of the people shown in the videos above, they are on “crack.”  Most of those people are just now becoming aware of the problems I write about here everyday.  And when they realize they have been scammed……………….they are going to be VERY, pissed off.

Save Your Child From “Common Core” in Public Education: “The Lucifer Effect” and how it works

To understand what Glenn Beck is saying in the videos below one must reflect backwards in time to the seemingly bizarre rantings of Charlotte Iserbyt who was the second in command at The Department of Education during the first term of the Reagan presidency.  I have covered her here complete with interviews before.  CLICK HERE TO WATCH THEM.  She is not crazy, in spite of what you will read about her in the following paragraphs.  When Glenn Beck talks about Common Core in public education he is discussing the design established for The Department of Education when it was created in 1979 for the intentional dumbing down of the world population for a collective cause that can best be explained in the last video shown on this article featuring The Lucifer Effect.  Iserbyt’s comments are based on inside experience and real life events and access to President Reagan himself.   I would suggest that all these videos be watched carefully.  There is a lot of information that is critical to our current time, and they need to be understood fully.  Take some time to watch them after you’ve read all the text, and be sure to pass this on to a friend.  They need to know this information too.

Common Core on the surface is supported by Bill Gates and his wife as part of their retirement philanthropy.  I believe they genuinely desire to help children and are not directly part of a sinister plot created by The Department of Education in the early 1980s.  Their involvement is indirect and is driven by “attributable charity.”  Gates as often happens is highly sought after for his money, and it is in charity events and political schmoozing where the ideas generated to shape Common Core education practices in America were given to him over dinner parties and wine glasses.  The desire to do good in the world for one of its richest men is a tempting prospect.  This is how good people are recruited to do bad things which is explained in the two-hour lecture by Dr. Philip Zimbardo, author of The Lucifer Effect: Understanding How Good People Turn Evil.

Common Core unlike Adolf Hitler’s book burning rituals in the 1930s where a central dictator seeking dominion over the minds of his subjects to keep them from being intelligent enough to challenge their authority, is designed to destroy children’s minds in a slow regression.  It is not designed to advance any society.  Unlike the dictators of the past, the villain is not a central figure like Barack Obama, or Fidel Castro, but the idea of collectivism itself which manifests in a collective evil that his hard to comprehend.  Common Core is designed to do precisely over a long period of time what the Soviet Union tried to do in the Great Purge of the 1920s.  Common Core seeks to reduce individual ambition, intelligence, and self-reliance into collective identification.  It is because of Common Core and the products of education so far that have caused me to no longer support public schools and encourage people with small children to home school as the only safe option.  However, even homeschooling won’t protect your family from Common Core as it is set to become a state requirement for the entire United States.  Homeschooled children will at least have the opportunity to learn traditional education methods alongside Common Core if the worst case scenario occurs—where all 50 states are forced into the federal program through The Department of Education.  Now, before I get into greater detail about Common Core and The Lucifer Effect, more needs to be known about Charlotte Iserbyt which can be seen as follows from Wikipedia.  The reference notes are active and can be traced back to their sources for ease of research.  I am aware that much of this will sound far-fetched, but it is quite real, and can only be seen clearly by pulling far away from the mountain so that vision can take in the collective whole.

Charlotte Thomson Iserbyt is an American freelance writer and whistleblower who served as a Senior Policy Advisor in the Office of Educational Research and Improvement (OERI), U.S. Department of Education during the first term of U.S. President Ronald Reagan, and staff employee of the US State Department (South Africa, Belgium, South Korea).[1][2][3] She was born in 1930[4] and attended Dana Hall preparatory school and Katharine Gibbs College in New York City, where she studied business.[4] Iserbyt’s father and grandfather were Yale University graduates and members of the Skull and Bones secret society.

She is known for writing the book The Deliberate Dumbing Down of America. The book claims that changes gradually brought into the American public education system attempt to eliminate the influences of a child’s parents (religion, morals, national patriotism), and mold the child into a member of the proletariat in preparation for a socialist-collectivist world of the future.[3] She alleges that these changes originated from plans formulated primarily by the Andrew Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Education and Rockefeller General Education Board, and details what she says are the psychological methods used to implement and effect the changes.[3]  It should be known at this time that Andrew Carnegie and John Rockefeller were both competitors in business against each other and committed many sins which they sought to reconcile through philanthropy, especially in Carnegie’s case.  They shared with the modern-day Bill Gates the classic struggle of proving to the proletariat of the world defined by Karl Marx in such a way, that they are not greedy bourgeoisie—which provokes them into “situational forces” that inspire their “attributable charity.”  Again, refer to The Lucifer Effect at the end of this article for much greater detail.  Reading these claims made by her keep an open mind and take note of the world around us right now.  A few years ago, she may have seemed crazy, but more and more, she appears to be 100% correct in everything she has said.

In an interview[2] concerning secret societies and the elite agenda she disclosed that in the early 1980s she had a chance to meet with Norman Dodd who had been the chief investigator for the United States House Select Committee to Investigate Tax-Exempt Foundations and Comparable Organizations commonly known as the B. Carroll Reece Committee. In the video interview she claims that Dodd discussed a ‘network’ of individuals including Carnegie who planned to bring about world peace by means of rapid changes in society. These changes would be brought about by involving the populace in various wars and military conflicts. She further claimed that Dodd had discussions with Rowan Gaither, the president of the Ford Foundation in which he revealed that directives from the President of the United States compelled foundations related to the Ford Foundation to direct their funding into bringing about the merger of the USA with the Soviet Union.[5][unreliable source?][6][unreliable source?][7][unreliable source?]

Filmed interviews of Iserbyt have her detail her story that lead her from school board trustee/administrator to becoming a Ronald Reagan administration staff in the U.S. Department of Education, and discovering further to her complete disbelief how these policies of a socialist-collectivist nature originated all the way to President Reagan, Vice President George H. W. Bush, and their policy advisers.

Up until 1960 Reagan, a leading member of United World Federalists (whose purpose was to merge America into a world government), was a charter member of Americans for Democratic Action. Reagan was also a member of the National Advisory Council of the American Veterans Committee[9] that was supposedly “under communist influence.”

Not listening to warnings provided to her in a book about Ronald Reagan (as California Governor, written by United Republicans of California (UROC)) given to her by a friend, Iserbyt dismissed the seemingly outrageous claims made in the book a short time prior to her accepting and leaving for the government position. In 1982 Reagan relieved her of her duties after leaking an important technology grant for computerized learning—Project BEST: “Better Education Skills through Technology”[10] brought about by the scholarly writings and a large study by an education specialist named Dr. John I. Goodlad at the Center for Educational Renewal at the University of Washington originally from British Columbia, Canada.[11] One book Iserbyt was critical of was “Schooling for a Global Age” edited by Charlotte C. Anderson, James M. Becker, Institute for Development of Educational Activities, New York 1979, that Iserbyt cited as having less to do with fostering learning and mainly to do with psychological manipulation of students possibly against the teaching of the child’s parents, for example, in arts classes.[12]

Through her father Charlotte Iserbyt was able to gain possession of the complete listings of the members, living and dead, of the Yale University Skull and Bones secret society, fashioned into a three-volume set: living members, deceased members, and complete listing of both[citation needed]. She cooperated in the writing of Dr. Antony C. Sutton’s book America’s Secret Establishment – The Order of Skull & Bones by providing the list of members obtained from her father.[14]

Fifteen Yale juniors are invited to join the Skulls each year in a process called “tapping.” A couple of thousand Yale graduates have been Skulls—WASP males from wealthy Northeastern families: Bush, Bundy, Cheney, Dodge, Ford, Goodyear, Harriman, Heinz, Kellogg, Phelps, Pillsbury, Rockefeller, Taft, Vanderbilt, Weyerhaeuser and Whitney were among its membership.

Iserbyt believes that the Bavarian Illuminati hid inside the Freemasons, and that the Skull and Bones Secret Society is derived from these Illuminati-degree Freemasons from Bavaria whose goals were documented in an original edition 1798 book Proofs of Conspiracy by John Robison in Iserbyt’s possession that she claimed was originally owned by the first president of the United States of America, Freemason, George Washington. The ideas of a ruling elite date back prior to Plato’s writings about the hierarchical plutocracy. Among the goals of the Order of the Illuminati were to destroy religions, and governments from within, merge the destroyed countries, and to bring about a one world government, a new world order, in their secret control.[15][16]

In the secret societies interview she states that virtually all of the Carnegie Foundation agreements with the Russian education system were still in place, as well as the U.S. Department of Education programs that Iserbyt claims brought about the downfall of American prosperity since the turn of the century, especially post World War II.[citation needed]

The reason Charlotte was able to walk away from her job and blow the whistle on this plot is because she had the rare ability to resist The Lucifer Effect.  Few people have the ability to resist The Lucifer Effect even those like Bill Gates who believe that their actions are for the greater good.  The way that people like Bill Gates get pulled into such schemes is through “attributable charity.”  It is in the belief that through peer “behavior compliance” in the work of philanthropy that good work can be done by investing many millions of dollars into programs that no tax payer would fund through elected offices.  The evil at work is not a single person, but the adherence to a system of belief that passes from one generation to another through “situational forces.”  All those terms will be explained in greater detail in the video lecture below by Dr. Zimbardo.

Without a doubt, for the casual reader running across this information for the first or even second time, these facts are inconvenient.  They force the mind to accept things that it has long regulated as conspiracy crack-pot theories.  However, the villain is in the collectivism which is shared across all spheres of influence mentioned in this article—no matter if it is the Bavarian Illuminati, the National Advisory Council of the American Veterans Committee, or the crazy radical Bill Ayers–they all share in common the seduction of their individual essences to The Lucifer Effect.  The Common Core that all public schools are implementing so that they can obtain federal money for their shrinking budgets is driven by “behavior compliance,” provoked by labor unions into focusing “situational forces” to the door step of Bill Gates so he’ll throw money at Common Core and advance the program through “attributable charity” by-passing the politics of the American republic to fulfill strategic goals designed in 1979 as reported by the whistleblower Charlotte Thomson Iserbyt.

The first defense a family has is to pull their child from their public school.  The second is to take away the money that funds the public education monster.  The third is to elect politicians who will support School Choice and bring Right-to-Work legislation to states so that the labor unions can be broke up and removed from educational influences.  The individual players in education are not necessarily aware of the evil they bring to children, but through The Lucifer Effect they are but small cells in the body of evil that seeks to rule the minds of mankind well into the future, toward a goal that involves less of a mind tomorrow than a child has today, and mankind one chain link closer to self-imposed slavery that could last centuries.  CLICK FOR MORE INFO.

If you love your children, you’ll home school them as soon as possible.  Public education cannot be trusted at all.

Kasich The Progressive: Medicaid expansion in Ohio and why Republicans lose so often

Let’s play a little game……………guess who said the following—“This budget also takes the significant step of helping more low-income and working Ohioans have access to health care through Medicaid, for which the federal government will pay 100 percent for three years and level off at 90 percent beginning in 2020.  While a complex decision, this reform not only helps improve the health of vulnerable Ohioans and frees up local funds for better mental health and addiction services, but it also helps prevent increases to health care premiums and potentially devastating impacts to local hospitals.”  If you guessed President Obama on one of his frequent campaign speeches that have extended well past the election, you were wrong.  No, the person who said such a reckless political statement cited above was what once people—myself included—thought was one of the most conservative governors in the Union.  The author of that statement was none other than Governor John Kasich.

http://www.redstate.com/jasonahart/2013/02/05/with-medicaid-expansion-gov-kasichs-credibility-collapses/

Kasich has ignored the efforts of Ohioans to reject Obamacare and instead has put his finger to the political winds after the loss of Senate Bill 5, and changed his political philosophy in the wake of the election of 2012.  Kasich seems to be listening to his more progressive friends these days like tabloid television star Bill Cunningham instead of people like Sean Hannity as he has made a noticeable political shift to the far left relative to his previous position.  Kasich’s progressive shift portrays exactly why government continues to grow unsustainably as politicians who lack personal conviction find themselves molded by the mob, (masses) and lose their will to fight, or step out of office to maintain their principles.  I would respect Kasich more if he didn’t allow himself to be swayed by public opinion and simply did not run for re-election in 2014—returning back to Fox News as Bill O’Reilly’s back-up host.  Rather, he has listened to his progressive friends in that an elected representative must put aside their personal feelings and govern on behalf of all people, not just certain groups.  While on the surface, this sounds good—in a democracy it allows for the masses to shape government toward the whims of collective force rather than a republic shaped by the representation of the people who elected that voting presence.  With Kasich we thought we were getting a conservative—instead we ended up with a guy who lost a couple of fights and has now thrown up the white flag—surrendering to progressives allowing government to grow even more under his watch.

I had a state senator tell me recently that he despised the word “Rhino” which is what Tea Party types have been calling Republicans who have shown a willingness to work with progressives to find a “middle ground.”  To such people who don’t desire to fight for their principles, even if it costs them an election, they see the Tea Party position as radical, and too far to the political “right” to win over the “working poor,” “minorities,” and those addicted to government entitlements.  Rhino Republicans like Chris Christie and Kasich have listened to their critics and moved to the left, which is what has been happening to Republicans since the Civil War—and is why government has grown so much over the last hundred years.  Nobody has been present in government to stop that growth and when it has been thought that such people have been elected, they turn out to lose like Kasich has to progressives, and our entire society moves further to the left.  I told the senator that elected representatives need to believe in something and stand for it, and to stop thinking strategically about maintaining the House or Senate as a majority—because if it means compromising fiscal beliefs to hold the office, then their representation is worthless.  He said we’ll have to agree to disagree and we both put more relish on our hot dogs and let it pass nicely—but the implication of his statement stayed with me for weeks.  The game modern politicians are playing on the conservative side is a game of keep away, but even so, they are losing ground in the process by the radical progressives incessant pursuit of moving the goal posts far to the political left with each year that passes.  (SEE MY PREVIOUS ARTICLE ON THIS)

Now that my youngest daughter has had a baby the constant advice from many family members is that she should take advantage of the many government programs available to her such as Wic and various insurance programs supported by the government.  Many of these family members are affluent people and their comments center around, “You already pay taxes honey, just look at it as collecting on your investment.”  This has went on for many years, in fact when my wife was pushed in the same direction when we had kids over twenty years ago and I learned of the nature of the discussion—there were serious fireworks at our house and family rifts that lasted decades.  The reasoning to my wife then was, “you’re husband is riding a bicycle to work for God’s sake, take the pressure off him and get on Wic so that you can afford baby formula.”  I was as violently against government assistance as a 19 year-old as I am today, so this urging did not sit well with me and did not go unanswered.  The expansion of government happens in part because they actively attempt to sign up young women to government programs to take off some of the financial pressure, then the young women as adults have lost their moral authority to speak against those programs as wizened adults, so they justify such endeavors by saying that “we already paid taxes into the program, we might as well get something out of it.”

I learned recently that regarding Kasich’s expansion of Medicaid, offices have been actively attempting to increase enrollment on the program to justify the expansion.  The unsaid strategy from Kasich is that he wants young women and the working poor voters to know that the Governor is looking out for them–to give them a hand up in life—especially during the hard first years of starting a family.   He thinks he’s taking a page from the Democratic playbook and is beating them at their own game, but in the end the progressive wins because they set the measure everyone is playing to.  In that way conservative governors like Kasich and Christie play to the same rules that Obama and the New York progressive Cuomo play by.  In the end, government expands because nobody in government from either side fight for their beliefs, and the republic of America is reduced to a democracy of majority rule which will always perpetuate toward degeneracy.  When politicians refuse to take a hard-line, then chaos becomes the ruler no matter who is in charge.

The senator mentioned that was eating hot dogs for dinner with me will never understand why Tea Party members call him and his kind Rhinos due to their will to compromise, because their goal is not just the health of Ohio, it is in maintaining majorities in the House and Senate.  To do that they must compromise with radical government expansionists who are always looking for new ways to make the public addicted to their services as they redistribute wealth with tax and spend management of state and federal economies.  The people who lose are those who think they are voting for men and women of conviction only to find out that their representatives are weak-willed progressives addicted to public office and perpetual elections that keep them out of the meat grinder of the private sector.  The worst and weakest human beings typically therefore move into public office and they work to stay there.  Real reformers enter office only to leave a few years later in frustration, or do like Kasich has and declared that if you can’t beat them………….you join them.  Which he has.

Now a note about what can be done about these diabolical schemes from the desk of Steve Elliott, which primarily focuses on these issues at the federal level.  It should be noted that many of the sequestration jobs being cut were created in the same manner that Kasich is now expanding Medicaid, so the events are connected directly.

The BIG LIE of BIG GOVERNMENT is about to be exposed — IF members of Congress will stand strong and NOT be bullied by Obama. We must understand precisely what’s happening. Please see below. — Steve

Dear Don,

Yesterday, we warned you that an effort was under way to give Obama unconstitutional authority to raise taxes. This shocking news was confirmed by various  news reports.

The good news … many grassroots citizens responded, and we dodged that bullet!

Now … today … as the doomsdayers in D.C. are counting down to the Sequester-mageddon. President Obama just held a press conference DEMANDING NEW TAXES and blaming conservatives for the coming alleged catastrophe of sequester.

And our Radical-in-Chief is getting ready to unleash his unprecedented grassroots army to PRESSURE your Ohio members of Congress to RAISE YOUR TAXES!

+ + Krauthammer Exposes OBAMA’S BIG LIE

Let’s be clear — the entire sequester “crisis” is a fabrication of Obama himself — the idea originated in the White House. And it’s designed to force us to accept even higher taxes and even more government spending.

Obama thought conservatives would have caved in long ago. Now, as Charles Krauthammer explains in his column today, the BIG LIE of the Left is about to be exposed.

What is that BIG LIE?

Simply this:

The LEFT’S BIG LIE is that any cutbacks to BIG GOVERNMENT will cause severe economic hardship to be unleashed on our nation. But it’s a lie!

As Krauthammer explains, if the sky doesn’t fall with a modest cutback in government spending, “people might get the idea that we can shrink government and live on.”

Do you see what’s happening?

If the sky DOESN’T fall with a 2% cut in government spending, then the BIG LIE of BIG GOVERNMENT will be exposed!

That’s why Obama’s far-left “Organizing For Action” activist group sent this message out to their tens of millions of followers yesterday:

“On the chopping block are 10,000 teaching jobs, more than 70,000 kids’ spots in Head Start, $35 million for local fire departments, $43 million to make sure seniors don’t go hungry, and access to nutrition assistance for 600,000 women and their families.”
Obama and the Left WANT sequester! They want the threat of school teachers and firemen and air traffic controllers losing their jobs because it creates an underlying fear of any cutbacks in government.

+ + TAKE ACTION: EXPOSE THE BIG LIE!

As I write, Obama has unleashed his ORGANIZING FOR ACTION activist group to bombard Congress.

You and I have two choices.

We can sit by silently and let Obama’s fear tactics take the day.

Or …

We can take action and help EXPOSE THE BIG LIE of BIG GOVERNMENT leftists!

If you want to take action, here’s what you can do:

#1 — Call Your Members Of Congress

Tell your two Ohio Senators and your Representative what you think about Obama’s plan to grow government and raise taxes. Let them know that you see through the BIG LIE of BIG GOVERNMENT. Phone numbers:

Sen. Brown: 202-224-2315
Sen. Portman: 202-224-3353
Rep. Chabot and Rep. Boehner (Note: we are listing two Reps because you live in a gerrymandered district.): 202-225-2216 and 202-225-6205

#2 — Sign Grassfire’s “No New Taxes” Petition.

If you oppose the BIG GOVERNMENT plan to raise taxes, join with nearly 100,000 other citizens in signing Grassfire’s “No New Taxes” petition. We will be delivering petitions to leaders in Congress as soon as next week. Go here now
:

www.grassfire.com/322/petition.asp

Remember, just two months ago Congress and Obama raised YOUR TAXES by two percent — and exactly 60 days later, they’re back for more! Sign the petition.

#3 — Tell BIG GOVERNMENT Politicians: “We Paid Our 2%! Why Can’t You?”

Grassfire has set up a FaxFire to let you tell Congress, “We Paid Our 2%! Why Can’t You?” After all, they just imposed a two-percent tax on us. That means we were FORCED to cut back our family budgets by two percent. Government can do the same!

As Krauthammer writes:

“…millions of American workers have had to tighten their belts by precisely two percent. They found a way. Washington, spending $3.8 trillion, cannot? If so, we might as well declare bankruptcy now and save the attorneys’ fees.”
Go here now to fax your two Ohio Senators, your Representative and key leaders on Capitol Hill:

www.grassfire.com/5322/offer.asp

Again … Obama and the Left are very nervous today. WHAT IF THE SKY DOESN’T FALL?

Then their Big Lie is exposed.

Thanks for the stand you’re taking.

Steve Elliott

P.S. Liberty News’ Norvell Rose just posted an exclusive that further exposes the sequester madness called “The Sequester Is Falling!” Also, I have posted this update on my Liberty News blog. Go here to comment and share.

The Black Flag of Assassin’s Creed: Why modern politics can be seen in naval ship battles

As I mentioned yesterday, Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed video game franchise is releasing a pirate version of their popular series to be launched prior to Halloween 2013 and it looks fantastic.  So I’m going to take a break from the usual serious matters dealt with at this site and expand a bit more about what I started to discuss regarding Assassin’s Creed as an instructive platform from which all people can learn history, by allowing players get to walk in the shoes of characters as history was made.  Shortly after I wrote the article previously mentioned, I managed to obtain my own ship while playing Assassin’s Creed III which takes place during the American Revolution and engage in the fantastic naval battles which is the new feature developed by Ubisoft.  The ship battle feature in the game is hands down one of the coolest uses of video game technology I have ever seen and it appears to be expanded upon dramatically in their upcoming pirate release, so it deserves mention and a metaphorical analysis in relation to real life.  The ship to ship battles in Assassin’s Creed III are simply breathtaking and deserve comment for the bench mark in history that they represent.  Justifiably so, I am very much looking forward to the release of Assassin’s Creed 4, The Black Flag coming this fall.  I will be one of the first to get it!  There are few places that you can live history from your living rooms and engage in the exhilaration that model ship builders have for years tried to capture when imagining grand galleons perched in combat with cannons firing on the choppy waters of a stormy sea.  But that is exactly what these recent Assassin Creed releases are offering for the first time anywhere and the results are simply stunning.   I’ve never seen anything like what I was able to play in Assassin’s Creed III with the ship to ship combat that alone makes the worth of the game more than justified for gamers who enjoy history.

Hanging in my home I have a painting of two ships firing canons at each other on Lake Erie during the War of 1812.  I have found that the old sea battles from the romantic era of naval combat reflects modern politics in many ways.  Like politics, wind speed is important as well as the direction from which it comes.  Politicians often allow themselves to blow where the winds of public opinion take them, so the metaphor is a proper one.  The old mast driven battleships were very much victims of circumstance, so maneuvering in position at a speed of 8 to 12 knots in order to fire upon an enemy was difficult.  Even then gaining a tactical advantage over an opponent meant that one ship would have to outlast another in broadside combat at close range, because that is often what it came to.  One ship would have to absorb the damage of another and hope that their ship wouldn’t sink to the oceans depths before their enemy.  I see in modern politics that Republicans have constantly been outmaneuvered by the pirate tactics of the Democrats who attack not just with one spectacular galleon, but many small ones.  Republicans often utilize such magnificent ships by displaying lots of guns and massive sails in a fashion that was typical of the British during their imperial rule.  The Democrats use smaller, faster vessels that can overtake larger ships with mass and dirty tricks to take down their superior foes—and such a metaphor describes modern politics clearly.

Many of the tactics seen in modern politics were long ago used on the high sea battles of early naval combat, before engines and modern firepower allowed technology to trump bravery.  In the picture I referred to of the 1812 conflict, I often think of the do or die nature of the ship crews who knew if they lost the fight, there would be no quarter given, no rescue from the enemy–there would be only death as their ship sank becoming their collective tombs.  So it is in this spirit that I love naval conflict from the period of world history where such things occurred, which is so wonderfully rendered in the Assassin games.

Personally I love the violent combat that is required in Assassin’s Creed III to even get to the naval battles.  Many game players over 35 years old might find themselves turned off at having to assassinate so many Redcoats to play through the story mode.  Some of my Tea Party friends who are history buffs and are inclined to spend their spare time building model trains and ships in bottles would love the naval combat graphics engine in the game, but they would find the brutality required to play the main character difficult to get their minds around.  That is the only weakness of the Assassin games.  The cost of the game is worth buying just for the ship battles, but that option should be available right out of the box to the advantage of the history buff—not the seasoned video gamer who loves the violent game play—like I do.

But that aside, it was bewildering to engage in combat with several schooner style ships in the choppy seas off the coast of North Carolina where the waves were 10 to 15 feet high and pitching my ship to and fro in a very violent manner.  I found that I had to time the cannon fire to these rough waters so that the cannons would reach their targets and not nose dive into the water short of their mark.  I have never seen such realism in a combat simulation of any kind, and it is just incredible to look at, let alone play.

The Assassin games are bringing history to life in a way I never thought was possible.  Needless to say, I am incredibly impressed.  As I write this the Horseshoe Casino has just opened in downtown Cincinnati and many adults my age converged upon its opening to spend $10 dollars per game on bets they are likely to never see a positive result.  The gaming that goes on in places like Vegas and casinos like The Horseshoe are consuming exercises that do little to give the players any kind of rewarding experience except for the occasional jackpot.  For my money, I would rather spend my gaming time on a $60 investment into a game like Assassin’s Creed III so at least the time spent playing can put the player into the seat of history and see and feel what it was like to stand on the docks of Boston in 1773 climbing aboard a ship to sail into the open sea blasting canons into the hull of an enemy in a rip-roaring wind attempting to turn ships over as sea water washes over the decks in a bubbling froth.  The ship battles are a heck of a lot more exciting than a casino slot machine that simply is designed to eat money from hopeful treasure hunters dressed to kill, but often losing the shirt right off their backs.  Games like Assassin’s Creed give back where a casino gaming experience can’t.

In such war simulations I tend to be a rammer when it comes to naval combat.  With all things being equal, the way to gain an advantage over an enemy is to be bolder in combat efforts so ramming into an opposing ship to cause them to hesitate before firing yields great results.  I do the same type of thing in actual politics.  Rather than dance around in never-ending stalemates, I tend to think like a pirate in being overly aggressive in achieving a victory.  (SEE THE LAKOTA LEVY FOR A SAMPLE)  I don’t have a lot of patience when it comes to politicians who insist on dancing with the enemy as less aggressive ship captains discover happens often in confrontations if they over-think their scenarios.  Playing games like Assassin’s Creed III can reveal these tendencies in a simulation before millions of wasted dollars go into political campaigns that only end up dancing around the enemy on the seas of life, (LIKE THE ROMNEY CAMPAIGN).  The people reading this who will insist that their strategy was formed from years of experience and that such a simplified answer to age-long questions cannot be found in a video game—they are the same people who have lost many campaigns and are not qualified to provide an opinion.  Players of such a game not only learn a lot about history, but they also learn a lot about themselves.

Regardless of the level of enjoyment, the Assassin Creed video games are unsurpassed in their naval war simulations.  I could play them endlessly, and I scratch my head at those who are my age and older who scamper off to a casino to throw their money away when there are games like Assassin’s Creed III that are much more beneficial to the human mind, and an understanding of the history of our species.  But just for the sheer enjoyment of blowing up a gigantic galleon after a long fought battle, Ubisoft has achieved a level of detail that has never before been achieved in a game or war simulation of any kind any where.  I simply shudder to consider how cool the new game Black Flag will be.  I think I will be taking another vacation come fall of 2013, similar to the one I took to play The Old Republic.  Because if Assassin’s Creed 4 has better ship combat than Assassin’s Creed III, then I may never leave my house again………….because they are a lot of fun, and filled with rich history that will make a modern novel envious.

How much does my family like pirates?  Well, here is my oldest daughter’s birthday where her husband turned their townhome into a pirate haven.  You be the judge.  Needless to say, when Black Flag comes out, there will be a party at my house!

Walking the Streets of Old Boston During the Revolutionary War: The new way to think about education

When people ask me what I think education should be, and how much money I think should be spent on it, my thoughts are not even in the same universe as the typical concerned parent.  In such discussions it quickly becomes realized that parents need a babysitting service for their child, and that is their primary concern when discussing education, so they aren’t even willing to discuss the quality of education itself.  I personally think the old top down teaching method is dead, and is obsolete entirely.  I favor one that has individual interaction with all the wonderful media tools available today and that will come to availability tomorrow over a teacher standing in front of a classroom like a dictator reeking with authority toward an uninterested class.  I touched on some of these changes coming to education in my article on School Choice which can be reviewed by Clicking Here.

I recently found myself inspired by playing an MMO video game called The Old Republic in how the power of gaming and story driven content provided a context to how the future of education might take advantage.  After spending roughly 300 hours playing the story portion of that game with my wife I am more convinced than ever that it is in that forum that education might best be stimulated.   Now, under my daughter’s guidance and continued coaxing, I am playing a game on Xbox called Assassin’s Creed III which I previewed here a bit, CLICK FOR REVIEW, and I am staggered by the results of that effort.  Assassin’s Creed III is a visually stimulating game that is a fictional story set during the Revolutionary War taking some liberties with the time period and involves a war between a group of Templers and Assassins that extends for millenniums of human history.  It has some science fiction elements, mystery, drama, action, and some sentimental romance that makes it a compelling story—but more than that I found it educationally thought-provoking.

I more heavily than ever support the Tea Party efforts of my friends in the Liberty Movement and there have been some intense discussions of late over beer, chicken wings, and flat screen televisions in dark corners of dank local pubs that have reminded me of how the Liberty Movement started in Boston during the years of 1750 to 1773.  I see the same thing happening once again in America in these dark corners under hushed voices.  Being a lover of Alan Eckert novels especially The Frontiersman, and Wilderness Empire which cover American development from 1720 through the early 1800’s from the East Coast to Illinois I have a love of information that covers that era.  To date only The Last of the Mohicans really jumped into this time period successfully as Walt Disney attempted on several occasions to tell stories from the period without coming out like stale bread.    The period of 1680 to about 1840 in America is one of the most violent, liberating, and exciting times in American history, yet it has been watered down by modern education to reflect through academic collectivism only the concerns of the Civil Rights debates of the 1850s to 1970s which were only the tail being wagged by the dog which began in the period of the First Great Awakening, roughly 1730 to 1770.  So it was with some excitement that I placed Assassin’s Creed III into my Xbox to play after looking at it on my book shelf for nearly 4 months unopened, as I had other tasks to attend to over that duration.

The game is fun, and it’s wonderful to cut the heads off bad guys and do all the usual video game antics that make them so popular with young people.  But Assassin’s Creed is more than just fun—it is deeply educational, and places the video game player in the sights, sounds, and politics of 1750 – 1773 America very accurately, much more than I anticipated.  Within the first 15 hours of game play I took a journey from England to American aboard a four masted galleon that took 73 days.  Life on the ship was brutally realistic, and even though I have read for years about such journeys, having the ability to walk around a ship, sleep, look-out across the water, talk to people working on the vessel and doing simple chores made the journey very real for me and gave me an appreciation for these boats and their tribulations that I have not received upon viewing actual replicas in port at Jamestown and other such places.  In Assassin’s Creed III I have had the opportunity to walk the streets of Boston as they might have looked at the time and engaged in meetings in those same dimly lit taverns which reminded me very much of my present reality.  I have met and interacted with Ben Franklin, William Johnston, George Washington, and Sam Adams just to name a few.  I have found myself just walking around the streets aimlessly looking at all the street vendors, the ship yards, and various businesses in amazement.  They have done in Assassin’s Creed what Walt Disney attempted to do with his Frontier Land in Disney World, which is recreate Old Boston with as much accuracy possible so that the essence of it would not be lost to time.

To get an idea of where Lexington is in relation to Boston and how the terrain outside of Old Boston might have looked to neighboring Native American tribes has been nothing short of stunning.  The Native Americans speak in their native language with subtitles needing to be read, and I found that after a little while I was starting to understand some of the words in context to the situations without reading the subtitles.  I could literally go on and on about the quality of Assassin’s Creed as a video game.  It is an example of exception that has set a new high bar for video game development.

Yet I could not stop thinking that more kids have probably learned more about American history after playing Assassin’s Creed for 40 or 50 hours than they have in all their years of public education history classes—which makes the video game far more superior as an education tool than a stagnant teacher standing in front of a class writing on a chalk board.  Assassin’s Creed would be a fun game if killing wasn’t even involved, but rather just interacting with the Founding Fathers and watching the slow gradual rebellion fester up against the English over a twenty year period.  It is one thing to read about the occupation of British troops in Boston in 1770, but it is another to watch them patrolling the city and shoving you out-of-the-way if you walk in front of their formation to exert their authority, like what happens in Assassin’s Creed.   I have caught myself saying ahhh, haaaa many times as things I’ve read in different books over the last thirty years came together for me in the video game where I suddenly had visual reference to tie it all together.  The detail is immaculate, even down to the mechanics of riding horses as they splash about on a muddy street from a recent rain.

For me the beauty of the game is in the ships.  Assassin’s Creed III allows me to climb aboard the kind of ships I have built and used in strategic combat CLICK TO REVIEW, and walk the decks, hoist the sails, and steer accurately on the open sea.  In reality those old ships were boring, but Assassin’s Creed makes them realistically boring to the level of excitement if that makes any sense.  The graphics engine for the ship to ship combat in Assassin’s Creed III is so deliciously good, with water looking photo realistic and the ships pitching to and fro so authentically that Assassin’s Creed 4 is going to expand on their ship development with a pirate adventure in the next edition—which for me is equitable to the most ecstatic experience imaginable.  Aside from the Revolutionary Period in America, the Golden Age of Pirates is among my favorites in history, and my daughter knew it when she obtained the leaked news from Ubisoft sending me a text, “DAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE NEW ASSASSIN’S CREED GAME IS CALLED THE BLACK FLAG!!!!!!!!!!!!  IT’S ABOUT PIRATES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Being a history buff, I love to interact with these three-dimensional environments that modern video games afford.  They complement my reading in a way that allows a very detailed picture to be painted in my mind, and connects many historical dots obtained from multiple sources.  The games are made for the purposes of entertainment, but it is staggering to consider how effective they could be if they took themselves seriously as educational tools.  As I examine the effectiveness of Assassin’s Creed III next to the stagnant education methods of even the best schools, it is obvious that public education is well down the wrong path, and they refuse to analyze their position in favor of something better.  Not being a gambler I would bet everything that most young people today know more about George Washington not because of the books by Glenn Beck, or the efforts of 12 years of public education, but because they played Assassin’s Creed III during the fall of 2012 and winter of 2013 and had to speak to him, go on missions that he sent them on, and watch history take place in a computer game instead of a solitary, bored individual standing at the front of a class spewing “teacher breath,” (a combination of coffee and teeth in the first stages of gingivitis) toward an uninterested class that has no context to apply any information  to.  Video games provide that context, and to date, none better than Assassin’s Creed III.  Not even the great Sid Meyer games did so well to place a player into the streets of history to interact with its authors as equals so that truth can be grappled with.   That is the power of a video game to become an opportunity to improve education effectiveness.

Barack Obama is America’s Jeroboam: How History will treat the $17 trillion dollar deficit driving President

I wanted the opportunity to vote for Herman Cain in the 2012 election, so what I am about to say has nothing to do with Civil Rights advances, or even politics.  The game that is being played is clear in a society that ridiculed Herman Cain ruthlessly, yet celebrated Barack Obama even though they are both African-Americans.  The performance of President Obama during the last week of February 2013 before the sequester deadline, which was set by his administration two years prior, proves what many have all along feared about Obama, and I am convinced that history will remember the current presidency as not just an appalling failure, but a horrendous blip on the radar of American prosperity.  It will be revealed that all along, Obama was a domestic terrorist at war with The American Constitution with an aim at radical destruction of prosperity in The United States to redistribute the wealth of America to the rest of the world, only to destroy the global economy in the process.  There is no other explanation for the reckless campaigning Obama engaged in trying to evoke fear in federal workers ahead of the sequester deadline.  What he has failed to report in his campaigning to federal workers is that even with the sequester cuts The United States is still spending more this year than it did last year pushing our national debt on a path toward $17 trillion.  Obama is either a complete idiot, which is possible—or he is a domestic terrorist intentionally attempting to wreck the American economy forever.  There really isn’t any other option, and that makes the situation in Washington a perilous one that may be the greatest threat to our Republic since the War of 1812.

If Obama proves in historical context, once the emotions of the day have quelled, to have been the later of the feared motivations, it would not have been the first time such a thing occurred.  In Biblical history, Obama’s current path might most parallel the actions of Jeroboam who advanced his rule over Israel by means of perpetuating the division of the southern Kingdom of Judah.  Obama like Jeroboam has spent his reign doing nothing but perpetuating war so that in the division would defeat his enemies so they could not rise up against him directly.  Obama has no interest in controlling costs or leaving America better of a country than when he found it, and he seeks to destroy all opposition to him through the kind of antics that history has seen time and time again.  But these mechanisms are invisible to the modern television viewer who believes that Obama’s presidency is about proving America has overcome its follies in a post Civil War America.  But the strategic intent is much, much more sinister.

So who was Jeroboam?  Here is what Wikipedia offers:

Jeroboam pron.: /ˌdʒɛrəˈboʊ.əm/ (Hebrew: יָרָבְעָם yarobh`am, Greek: Ιεροβοάμ Hieroboam) was the first king of the northern Israelite Kingdom of Israel after the revolt of the ten northern Israelite tribes against Rehoboam that put an end to the United Monarchy.

Jeroboam reigned for 22 years. William F. Albright has dated his reign from 922 to 901 BC, while Edwin R. Thiele offers the dates 931 to 910 BC.[1]

Jeroboam was the son of Nebat (Douay-Rheims: Nabat), a member of the Tribe of Ephraim of Zereda. His mother[3], named Zeruah was a widow (and could have been leprous[citation needed], as her name translates; 1 Kings 11:26) He had at least two sons — Abijam[4] and Nadab, who succeeded him on the throne.

While still young, Jeroboam was promoted by Solomon to be chief superintendent of the “burnden”, i.e. the bands of forced laborers.[5]

Influenced by the words of the prophet Ahijah (1 Kings 11:29-39), he began to form conspiracies with the view of becoming king of the ten tribes; but these were discovered, and he fled to Egypt, where he remained under the protection of pharaoh Shishak until the death of Solomon.[6] On the death of Solomon, Rehoboam assumed the throne. However, the ten northern tribes revolted against his rule and invited Jeroboam to become their king. The conduct of Rehoboam favored the designs of Jeroboam, and he was accordingly proclaimed “king of Israel”.[7]

He rebuilt and fortified Shechem as the capital of his kingdom. He at once adopted means to perpetuate the division with the southern Kingdom of Judah. He erected at Dan and Bethel, the two extremities of his kingdom, “golden calves,” which he set up as symbols of God, enjoining the people not any more to go up to worship at Solomon’s Temple in Jerusalem, but to bring their offerings to the shrines he had erected.

Thus he became distinguished as the man “who made Israel to sin.” This policy was followed by all the succeeding kings of Israel.

According to 1 Kings 13:1-6, while Jeroboam was engaged in offering incense at Bethel, a “man of God” warned him that “a son named Josiah will be born to the house of David” who would destroy the altar (referring to King Josiah of Judah who would rule approximately three hundred years later). Attempting to arrest the prophet for his bold words of defiance, Jeroboam’s hand was “dried up,” and the altar before which he stood was rent asunder. At his urgent entreaty his “hand was restored him again” (1 Kings 13:1-6, compare 2 Kings 23:13-16); but the miracle made no abiding impression on him. This “man of God” who warned Jeroboam has been equated with a seer named Iddo.[8]

He was in constant “war with the house of Judah”. While the southern kingdom made no serious effort to militarily regain power over the north, there was a long-lasting boundary dispute, fighting over which lasted during the reigns of several kings on both sides before being finally settled.

In the eighteenth year of Jeroboam’s reign, Abijah, Rehoboam’s son, became king of Judah.[9] During his short reign of three years, Abijah went to considerable lengths to bring the Kingdom of Israel back under his control. He waged a major battle against Jeroboam in the mountains of Ephraim. Biblical sources credit Abijah with having a force of 400,000 and Jeroboam having 800,000.[10] The Biblical sources mention that Abijah addressed the armies of Israel, urging them to submit and to let the Kingdom of Israel be whole again,[11] but his plea fell on deaf ears. Abijah then rallied his own troops with a phrase which has since become famous: “Jehovah (God) himself is with us for a captain (commander of the army).” As per the Bible His elite warriors fended off a pincer movement to rout Jeroboam’s troops — killing 500,000 of them.[12]

Jeroboam was crippled by this severe defeat to Abijah and posed little threat to the Kingdom of Judah for the rest of his reign.[13] He also lost the towns of Bethel, Jeshanah and Ephron, with their surrounding villages.[14] Bethel was an important centre for Jeroboam’s Golden Calf cult (which used non-Levites as priests),[15] located on Israel’s southern border, which had been allocated to the Tribe of Benjamin by Joshua, as was Ephron, which is believed to be the Ophrah that was allocated to the Tribe of Benjamin by Joshua.[16]

Jeroboam died soon after Abijam.

Bill O’Reilly as a journalist is someone I respect tremendously.  He attempts to call things as straight as he can, which is why he is one of the most trusted news sources around today.  I don’t always agree with him, but he really works to get to the truth of an issue.  O’Reilly recently tackled the view that history might take upon gazing at Obama’s Presidency, and it was very good.  O’Reilly covered the topic on one of his Talking Points Memos heard during the same week of Obama’s campaigning during February.  O’Reilly uses less colorful language than I do, but his essence is much the same and is worth reading for just the statistics alone.

How will history view President Obama:

By Bill O’Reilly

In just a few days automatic federal spending cuts might kick in. That is known as “the sequester”, a word we don’t like here at The Factor because it’s a word few understand and it’s largely meaningless.

The issue is very, very simple. President Obama does not want to cut federal spending without another tax increase. Republicans say no way, they are not going to continue to feed the federal spending colossus as can be seen clearly by the following quotes:

OBAMA: Most Americans — Democrats, Republicans and Independents — understand that we can’t just cut our way to prosperity.

UNIDENTIFIED MALE IN BUDGET HEARINGS: I want to disagree with those who say we have a spending problem.

REP. NANCY PELOSI: So it is almost a false argument to say we have a spending problem. We have a budget deficit problem that we have to address.

SEN. MARY LANDRIEU: I am not going to keep cutting the discretionary budget, which, by the way, is not out of control, despite what you hear on Fox News.

O’REILLY: Senator Landrieu and others are simply wrong. The federal spending is certainly out of control. The debt is approaching $17 trillion.

Here is how bad it is. In 2003 the U.S. spent just above $2 trillion. This year, the estimated spending will be $3.6 trillion, a 75 percent rise in spending in a 10-year period with no inflation.

And what do we have to show for all that spending? The economy is not much better. The poverty rate is about the same as it was 50 years ago. And salaries for working people are going down.

So why are we spending all the money? For what reason? I’ll tell you why. Take a look at this chart put out by the Pew Research Center. It says 48 percent of Americans want smaller government and fewer services. But among Hispanics, only 19 percent want smaller government and fewer services. A whopping 75 percent of Latinos surveyed approve of bigger government and more entitlements. That’s why President Obama is spending the money because he knows that a coalition of African-Americans, Hispanic Americans, organized labor, and committed liberals will overwhelm the Republican Party.

So in essence, the President is putting party politics above the good of the nation. History will record that and a few years from now when President Obama’s administration is evaluated historians will not care about his charisma, his co-opting of the press or his demeanor in general. No. History will look at the facts. And the facts are that the USA is on the road to bankruptcy. And when that happens, if it does, President Obama will be blamed.

Previous presidents like Van Buren, Harding, Coolidge and Hoover all got hammered because of perceived bad economic policies. The fact is that right now Barack Obama is in that historical category. And that’s a fact.

And that’s “The Memo.”

Obama’s forgetfulness of his sequestration deadline, which was set by The White House, reminds me most of the Popeye the Sailor character of Wimpy, who was famous for saying, “I’ll pay your Tuesday for a hamburger today.”   Well, Tuesday is here, and Obama doesn’t want to pay for his hamburgers.  Instead, he wants another loan for more hamburgers to be paid on many future Tuesdays, and it is hard to believe that anybody could be so stupid, unless they have deliberate intentions of collapsing the American economy.

Historically speaking, it appears that Obama will be viewed equally as Jeroboam, an intention divider of The United States for aims of power and wealth redistribution using Saul Alinsky tactics to execute the aims of Cloward and Piven.  Unlike the times of Jeroboam, armies are not on hand to fight in hand to hand combat as factions meet on the battlefield to keep people like Jeroboam in power.  These days’ armies are congregated in board rooms and banks.  The new arrows of combat are check books and debt.  The intent of battle and war in general is to force an opponent into concessions through violence, sanctions, or political manipulation.  Obama is not even trying to work with Republicans, instead, he is attacking, and attacking, and attacking at every opportunity while running up a tremendous debt with the recklessness of Wimpy, except he never seems to have a desire to even pay on Tuesday.  The intent appears to be complete fiscal collapse and that would be considered domestic terrorism which is something all Americans should guard against.  Trying to invoke fear into political opponents and the masses behind them can be termed in no other way, and in this case exceeds the parameters of normal political theater.  The level that Obama is attempting to carry the divisiveness of modern politics appears to have the same aim as Jeroboam, and will be remembered as such.  The evidence is clear, and cannot be ascertained in any other fashion, unless of course Obama is just a complete fool that is as reckless in his designs as an intoxicated gambler on a Saturday night.  Either way, history will not be kind to Barack Obama.  The only question is whether America survives such a parasite as sixteen years of progressive rule on top of another eight that have severed half the nation from the values they had always held before the election of 1992.  It is easy to see the demise in historical context over decades.  But not so easy to see in the immediacy of the moment, which is the strategy of war played in modern politics, and seems to be the motivation of Barack Obama, the modern version of Jeroboam.  The severed tribes of Obama are Hispanics, women, African-Americans, union leaders, the poor, the un-ambitious, and the government worker being paid extraordinary sums for a job the tax payer does for nearly half the same market value money.  It is war that Obama is conducting and in order to continue that war, he needs more irresponsible spending and a government that will grow by another 100% in the coming years till America is no better than Europe economically.  The slate of the world will then be wiped clean for Socialist International to step in and rule us all through the United Nations.  That appears to be the intentions of America’s modern version of Jeroboam.

Many enemies work behind a cloak of good intentions, but most of them have other ideas concealed deep in their social plots.  Evil is sometimes a point of view, and what might be evil for America might provoke sainthood among the advocates of global government.  A rival team might be considered evil if they score a touchdown beating the hometown favorite—but the actions behind Obama are much worse than these kinds of trivial competitions.  He is attacking every single American for seemingly ideological reasons, either through reckless stupidity or deliberate sabotage.  But History will grade Obama a failure either way and a menace to all of civilization as they attempt to dig out from underneath the years of Obama with more than shovels.  History will place Obama with the terrorists Jeroboam and the worst of the Roman Emperors.  Such a legacy will outlast the political whims of the modern age, and will forever be viewed with the same kind of sinister sentiment as our current times view Stalin, Mao, and every tyrant who has so far breathed and walked the Earth.  Obama will forever be just another brick in the road to tyranny that threatened the freedoms of every individual in the entire world with soul crushing debt recklessly applied to achieve a military victory long ago hatched in the living room of college Marxist professors in the glory days of being a “community organizer,” where the weak hearts of the great American enemy was discussed over mixed drinks and cigarettes to great effect and long-term strategy.

The Untapped Money of Hollywood: Rebels WITH a Cause–A strategy guide for conservative eyes only

I enjoyed the Academy Awards presentation of 2013 for most of the broadcast over 1 billion people viewed until Michelle Obama presented the award for Best Picture.  Her presence reminded me of the cozy relationship Hollywood has with the American version of communism in the Democratic Party.  Jack Nicolson who has become a Hollywood legend playing pot headed hippies, crazy people, and ghost ridden psychopaths obviously enjoyed the rub against the conservative right as he presented Michelle Obama’s bang engulfed face on a big screen television.  However, up to that Best Picture category, I enjoyed the Oscars, because I love movies.  I love all movies, liberal ones, conservative ones, and films that are about all forms of life.  Personally I was rooting for Lincoln to do well, but I also admired the work of Ben Affleck in Argo, and I really think a lot of Ang Lee as a filmmaker—so I was very excited to see Life of Pie do so well.  But there was nothing that grabbed my heart more than the live performance of Skyfall by Adele, which won an Oscar for Best Original Song.

Normally I have learned to overlook the obvious shortcomings of Hollywood which were subtly evident in Seth MacFarlane’s presentation of the Oscars.  Being a fan of Family Guy, I am used to Seth’s atheist views and tendency to lean in progressive directions, but I deeply admire his talent, so I can enjoy his work without going crazy about his politics.  He did a good job as a host of the Academy Awards, and I appreciated his satirical song about an issue I pointed out over a year ago, that Best Actresses for the Academy usually get there by showing their breasts in a film.  MacFarlane performed a very funny song titled, “We Saw Your Boobs.” From a distance it looks like Hollywood tried very hard to show that they don’t take themselves too seriously.  MacFarlane poked fun at Hollywood in typical roast fashion which is customary with jokes about cocaine trees, orgies at Jack Nicholson’s house, and references to the mythical Jewish control of Hollywood.  But less obvious was the desire to prove that all the participants were less than perfect human beings, as MacFarlane made fun of his own film Ted in 2012, and Ben Affleck discussed the need to not hold grudges.  These are the under cover elements of progressivism that have plagued Hollywood since the 1950s, and were kept very restrained until the revelation of Michelle Obama splattered the issue in front of everyone left watching at 11:30 PM on a Sunday night.

Hollywood however is not about progressive causes and much of the best of what Hollywood has to offer was not present at the Academy Awards.  Dark Knight Rises was openly snubbed most likely due to the fact that the plot line was critical to collective politics.  The villain Bane was the essence of what many on the political right fear about Obama in present day reality.  So it didn’t go unnoticed that there wasn’t a single award nomination for Warner Brothers billion dollar money-maker.  There was a slight nod to The Avengers, and the entire evening was dedicated to 50 years of James Bond.  It was during the moments of James Bond celebration that many of the Hollywood elite in the audience had glazy faces from the powerful musical performances of Adele from Skyfall and Shirley Bassey from Goldfinger.  It was great to see Shirley again, her voice has rung in my ears for many years, and I wasn’t the only one taken by her performance.  She sang with great power, but more than that, it was the thoughts of James Bond that her voice and that of Adele evoked which is what Hollywood was built on in the first place.  James Bond, like many action heroes are theatrical manifestations of the Übermensch.

The Übermensch (German for “Overman, Overhuman, Above-Human, Superman, Super-human”; German pronunciation: [ˈˀyːbɐmɛnʃ]) is a concept in the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche. Nietzsche posited the Übermensch as a goal for humanity to set for itself in his 1883 book Thus Spoke Zarathustra (German: Also Sprach Zarathustra).  Hollywood finds itself a kind of Doctor Jeckle and Mr. Hyde personality in that they publicly celebrate progressive causes like drug addiction, human weakness, casual sex, and openly intrusive government—which was the idea of presenting Mother Michelle Obama at the end of the broadcast.  Hollywood however makes its money off of exceptionalism, and is the soul reason that directors like Ang Lee make movies for the big studios instead of in Europe, or Asia.   Hollywood is the creation of exceptionalism and the stories are specific to American thought.  The Academy urges more progressive films to be produced to fit their ideological pursuits, but Hollywood makes its money off films like Dark Knight Rises, any Bruce Willis film, and films that have Übermensch’s as the protagonist.  Movie goers do not like weak kneed heroes, they want the Übermensch.  James Bond is super-human, he is not a man who has all the normal emotional weaknesses, which has been an issue with this new Daniel Craig Bond—until Skyfall.  Bond is a man of exception, he is the best of the best and that is why tears flowed at the end of Bassey’s performance of Goldfinger.  “Little girl, beware of his web of sin,………………….but don’t go in.”

Considering that Return of the King won Best Picture just a few short years ago, it was shocking that The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey didn’t have more nominations.  But for those who know the labor backlash over The Hobbit being filmed in Wellington, New Zealand it should come as no surprise. Hollywood holds grudges.  They hold them against George Lucas for his independence of the Hollywood system, they hold grudges against James Cameron for declaring that he “Was king of the world.” Hollywood holds grudges against Mel Gibson for making The Passion of the Christ.  So Ben Affleck almost let out too much when he accepted his award, and quickly composed himself on discussing grudges in Hollywood.  Big players in Hollywood know that they must play by the rule of progressivism if they want to continue working—even the biggest names.  Notice that Clint Eastwood wasn’t there this year after coming out in favor of Mitt Romney in the last election and calling President Obama “the greatest hoax ever perpetrated on the American people.”  Hollywood offers a seat at the table for those who fall in line, and takes the seat away at the Oscars for those who don’t follow the party line.  True superstars like Eastwood, Bruce Willis—who just came out in favor of the Second Amendment, and Sylvester Stallone were not shown walking the red carpet this year, even though films from those actors will be watched on televisions many years into the future while films like Argo will be forgotten along with Black Hawk Down, and The Deer Hunter.

Hollywood shoots itself in the foot by aligning themselves with progressive politicians like Michelle and Barack Obama.  But Hollywood, especially above the line, loves glittery lights, and Democrats are better at presenting glitter than Republicans.  So Hollywood—at least the elite that are always present at the Oscars are in bed with Democratic politicians because they all love the pretty lights and glitter that those politicians offer.  Republicans fail because they expect to be judged on substance, but Hollywood can’t even judge the best among them correctly without politics getting in the way.

For me even bigger than Adele’s performance of Skyfall was Hal Needham the stuntman and director of films like Smokey and the Bandit and Hooper winning a special Academy Award he very well deserved.  Needham is a man I personally admire, so it was good to see him finally get an Oscar for his long career of work.  It wasn’t a surprise to me that Seth MacFarlane did a comedy skit with Sally Field at the beginning where he asked her on a date in a Trans Am and everyone instantly recognized the role that will forever define her in Smokey and the Bandit.  That film would have never happened without the effort and expert stunt work of Hal Needham.  Sally Field won’t be remembered as the mother of Forest Gump, or the wife of Lincoln or any of her other fantastic acting roles over many years—she will always be known as Frog from Smokey and the Bandit, because the Bandit was an Übermensch and society loves their overman heroes.

When I saw the mug of Michelle Obama speaking from The White House I instantly wondered why Hollywood was allowed to get away with such an audacious display of affection.  But I instantly knew the answer.  Conservatives who have a lot of money do not spend their money on film production.  They buy oil wells, real estate, and other traditional investments, but when it comes to film, they do not put their money where their mouth is, and because of it, have lost their message to investors who think progressive causes are the correct path.  That is why Hollywood is in bed with the political left.    Actors like Jack Nicholson will be anything you want them to be for the right price, and in Hollywood the money comes from progressive investors.  The relationship is so cozy that for the first time, the wife of a President announced the Best Picture at the Academy Awards.  Conservatives could have a seat at the table and compete directly with progressives if only they learned to put some of their money into film production so that they could at least play the public relations game, which they are now losing without a fight.   The boldest attempt in my opinion during 2012 was Atlas Shrugged Part II.  But not enough conservatives supported the film, leaving the producers hanging on the vine alone.

I spend a lot of time considering the implications of the film industry because movies whether we like it or not shape our culture more than any other modern factor.  The values of our society do come out of Hollywood, and so long as the trend leans toward progressivism, conservative causes will always waver in the eyes of the public.  But it doesn’t have to be that way.  All it takes is an understanding of what forces are at play, and I have put them forth here for analysis.  The world doesn’t want more art films to inspire them to political leanings.  They want more Skyfall, and more Adele.  They want more Bruce Willis and crave Clint Eastwood to tell somebody to “Make My Day.”  They want more Incredible Hulks to grab a villain by the head and fling them about like a rag doll only to utter, “Puny God.”  Worldwide film audiences want to see a woman like Sally Field play not Lincoln’s wife but to put on the wedding dress once again and run off on a high-speed adventure with a cowboy wearing Übermensch named Bandit.  Human beings crave to be more than what they currently are, and they want their movies to reflect that desire.  But such acknowledgments do not come because conservatives have lost the fight in Hollywood at their own peril or that Jack and the gang flaunted reality at the close of the program with Obama’s face to send conservatives to bed with nightmares of socialism. They come like all things in life, with understanding–he who has the gold rules, and conservatives have contributed very little gold to Hollywood and therefore find themselves ruled by liberals in entertainment and politics.  They are caught in a vice between the two, and wonder how it happened when their ideas are sounder and more statistically proficient.  But that is a situation that could change easily, if only conservatives would get the message.

Meanwhile, I’m going to go listen to Adele’s Skyfall on my iPod about 2 million more times and contemplate the importance of the Übermensch in human culture.  I will also dedicate my time, money and resources not to the orgy seekers who wanted to partake in mashed potato sex at Jack Nicholson’s house after the Academy Awards, but the Rebels With A Cause who are emerging as the new counter-culture in America.  It is there that the new heart of Hollywood resides and the fate of our country and world.  The new cool is not the Obama loving pot smoking, Che wearing actor from Beverly Hills, it is the conservative from the Midwest who walks like John Wayne, utters one liners like Clint Eastwood, and articulates an idea like Ronald Reagan.  That is where the country’s salvation resides, and the real money that Hollywood could make if they didn’t eat like pets from the hands of ultra progressives who have finally taken over the Oscars and began to hand out Best Picture awards………..and laugh about it like it’s hip.

The Conservative Versus Libertarians: Looking for laws to create shared values

John Stossel and Ann Coulter had a wonderful debate recently in front of a group of college Libertarians in Washington D.C. over the nature of personal liberty.  During the debate Coulter told John and the audience that Libertarians were a bunch of pussies for pandering to liberals with a social message of drug use and gay marriage.  I normally agree with much of what Stossel, Judge Napolitano, and Glenn Beck who are all declared Libertarians state, but in this debate seen below, I am on the side of Ann Coulter 100%.  I personally deplore drug use of any kind, and that includes over-the-counter medicine.  I would never use marijuana as an ingested smoke into my lungs under any circumstance.  I resist even taking aspirin or drinking alcohol.  I think anyone who drinks alcohol to get drunk is an absolute fool.  I have ended long-standing friendships over drug use and even abuse of alcohol, so I have no tolerance for it among the general population.  Even in my teenage years where such behavior was expected, and I lived a life from 16 to 18 years old that would fill encyclopedia volumes with wild adventures, I had a sign in my car that indicated that no smoking was allowed.  And it wasn’t…………for anybody.  I have even thrown people out of my car for lighting up cigarette in the back seat while I was driving.  I have no tolerance for drug or alcohol abuse and I have always been that way.   So like Ann Coulter, my biggest problem with modern Libertarians is their permissiveness of drug use and the name of their movement, which is way too close to the word “liberal.”  So I do not identify myself as a Libertarian.  The barrier for me is their permissiveness of social debaucheries behind a flag of liberty.

The question that arises from Libertarians is how can government control what goes on in the bedroom of citizens, or dictate what an individual puts into their bodies?  For me, government can’t, and shouldn’t be in the business of social behavioral regulation.  That type of thing would normally be regulated to the spiritual pursuits of an individual which would create the goals people strive to live within.  This would work fine if people shared similar values, such as a majority of the population wished to live by Christen values or Buddhist ideas, but in the absence of such social conviction there is a kind of free-for-all mentality that causes some to impose their freedoms on others who don’t share their values.  So a law is necessary under those conditions, and a penalty for that law must be swift so it is respected by the public as a shared value.

For instance, if I’m in line at Kings Island, a popular amusement park in Southern Ohio and there is a guy in front of me smoking a marijuana cigarette, he is making a decision based on his personal liberty to impose upon me the expelled air from his lungs that contain within it chemicals I do not want in my body.  Currently the law protects him from me, because I cannot just go up and knock his face into another dimension as he imposed upon me the marijuana smoke from his lungs.  Because using drugs in public is illegal, the conflict is averted, where it wouldn’t be if marijuana use in public were legalized.  There is nothing more disgusting than such public displays where the careless use of intoxicants can be seen coming out of the mouth of an individual and the only way you can prevent yourself from ingesting it yourself is to hold your breath.  Such a thing is nearly as disgusting as seeing discarded cigarettes on the ground of a parking lot, or walkway that has been saturated with rain and are smashed flat.  When in a public place I am always cautious to avoid stepping on them because I don’t want to drag that trash into my car, or my home as the old cigarette might become lodged into the tread of my shoes to fall out within my property littering it.  I am just as cautious about looking for places in public that people have spit on the ground.  I do not want to step in the spittle of some other person and drag their chemical intoxicants into the carpet of my vehicle on the way home.  The rights of liberty from the person who spit on the sidewalk do not supersede my rights to maintain my property free of their discarded saliva, or cigarettes.

With liberty comes responsibility and if the social trends of the day leaned in the direction of social valor, then I might embrace the Libertarian designation a bit more amiably.  I have no desire to visit the city of Amsterdam because of their loose drug laws, and now that Colorado has passed legislation legalizing pot, I may never visit that state in the years to come.  The very idea of a body of people who collectively wish to participate in detrimental drug use is disgusting, and changes the way I view the entire state.  I find the tendency to use drugs even for bi-polar disorders to be deplorable.  I would like to see the human spirit overcome shortcomings and illnesses in the most self-reliant fashion possible—and I don’t see the Libertarian political movement going in that direction.  Instead, it appears to be a happy middle place between what the Republicans once stood for, and what the hippie liberals promote actively–human weakness.

I hate more laws, and encourage breaking unjust laws as the situations dictate.  The ultimate question is who decides what good and proper social behavior is—is it the Republicans, Democrats, or Libertarians?  The answer is in none of them.  Before the kind of freedom that Libertarians are striving for can ever occur the human race has to have a desire to behave with quality.  They have to want to live quality lives and to respect the quality of other peoples’ lives.  Without a firm definition of quality and what makes one thing better than another one persons freedom becomes another person’s hell.  Without a spiritual bonding agent that is shared between one group of people and another, freedoms will collide and impose on unwarranted victims the pursuits of less stable personalities and their flaws.

The argument between Ann and John above is the direction that I see America going.  As for the liberals, the Democrats, the communists and socialists of collectivism, I don’t even recognize them as having a seat at the table of tomorrow.  I see them as having the same kind of living quality as any other animal on Earth.  They live, eat and die in predictable fashions but are governed through their lives by animal instincts, the desire to have sex, consume food, and sleep.  Without a personal commitment to any higher thoughts or causes, they are no different to me than an average household pet—and they will lose their standing all together in the future of America between the pot-headed Libertarians and Republicans like Ann Coulter who are trying to return the party back to the ideas it was founded on.  As for me, no political party represents my thoughts best but the old Anti-Federalist Party of Thomas Jefferson.  All these new political variations are lacking an inherit wisdom that is governed by personal valor.  Without a human desire to be good, all the laws and political posturing of any collective group of individuals is a worthless pursuit that lacks sustainability.  So long as Libertarians embrace drug use of any kind, I will never have an “L” next to my name in any professional or casual reference.  I’ll stay with Independent—which is what the aim of all politics should be.

Living the Creation of Ayn Rand’s ‘Anthem’: Fighting back against Duke Energy and the Cincinnati Streetcar

George Lang, trustee of West Chester Township has recently had to contend with a large financial settlement due to a controversial police beating, then he went on 700 WLW radio with Bill Cunningham to give a statement about the attempt from Duke Energy to pass the cost of the Cincinnati Street Car off on suburban residents since the city does not have the money to pay for the project they foolishly voted for.  Lang has been very busy, and has done a more than respectable job of handling the various management issues that have come his way.  The Duke Energy issue is very serious.  It is the result of a Cincinnati based company that is dedicated to progressive causes–especially with their participation in the Agenda 21 Smart Meter program–that is allowing the reckless costs of Mayor Mallory’s Street Car to be passed on for infrastructure construction to their wide base of customers.  The Street Car like the Smart Meters is an Agenda 21 strategy and it should come as no surprise that the Cincinnati Mayor is personal friends with Barack Obama and is fully committed to the Rio, Brazil Earth Summit agenda created in 1992.  CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT AGENDA 21. George Lang is fighting the idea of Duke Energy passing the cost of the Street Car onto residents of Butler and Warren County and he had a great interview with Cunningham which can be heard below.

When logic is used, nobody can figure out why Mallory is so committed to the Streetcar.  Like Lang said, the Streetcar makes no economic sense for Cincinnati and much less sense for the residents of Butler and Warren County.  It’s sluggish old technology that limits people geographically to an area that is less than desirable.  I know that Lang understands the real answer, but he can’t say it on WLW without sounding like a kook, because George knows that attacking these big problems with too much information that the public isn’t willing to learn will lessen his message—so he focused the discussion around economic viability, which is something people understand.  Yet the reality is that Mallory like his friend Obama are looking far into the future—beyond their own lifetimes with a commitment to social collectivism that can best be found in Ayn Rand’s great novel Anthem which I have been reading at least twice a week lately, because of its stirring accuracy.

I have been reading Anthem written first in 1937 which appeared to have had a tremendous impact on Walt Disney (CLICK HERE TO READ MY REVIEW) because out of all my books and attempts at explaining away modern behavior, it is the only one that makes sense.  It predicted the attempt by Socialist International to spread global communism through The United Nations nearly half a century before the 1992 Earth Summit meeting in Brazil.  Ayn Rand knew the signs and they were already happening in America during the days of the Red Decade, when Anthem was written.  Anthem was a warning about the dangers of communism from a woman who lived it first hand in Petrograd, Russia at the start of the 1917 Revolution.  In Anthem mankind has reverted back to almost a primal village where council members run everything and personal identity has been eradicated.  One man in the story re-discovers the light bulb from a long dead culture.  He brings the discovery to his ruling village council thinking they will be delighted.  Instead he is beaten and tortured for making the discovery to the point that he escapes into the wilderness to re-establish civilization and all the inventions of the past that have been suppressed by the ruling class.  The book is so powerful that I believe that Walt Disney built the Epcot Center in Orlando Florida to protect our society against such an eventuality.  You can see a dedication to Ayn Rand’s work in the American Heritage building at that famous park.  Only Walt or Roy, his brother, would ever be able to admit to such a thing today, so enjoy the dedication to Ayn Rand while it lasts.  Progressives hate Ayn Rand, and seek at every turn to remove her warnings from the eyes of human beings.  If you want to piss off a progressive, talk about Ayn Rand, which is why the dedication at The Epcot Center is remarkable.  Anthem’s hero is Equality 7-2521 and he lived in the dark ages of the distant future.  In a loveless world he dared to love the woman of his choice.  In an age that had lost all trace of science and civilization he had the courage to seek and find knowledge.  But these were not the crimes for which he would be hunted.  He was marked for death because he had committed the most unpardonable sin: he had stood forth from the mindless human herd.  He was a man alone………….a sin worse than murder in a society of collectivists.

The Overton Window in our current society has been pulled so far to the political left that even dedicated conservatives feel uncomfortable discussing novels like Anthem in public.  So Lang was smart to stay away from the topic on WLW because large media types like Cunningham have had the Overton Window pulled so far to the left during their lifetimes that they are not willing to examine ideas that may categorize them as “tin headed conspiracy theorists.” ( CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE ABOUT THE OVERTON WINDOW.) Such thoughts do not belong so much on Channel 5 interviews and WLW talk shows as society is currently struggling with the current status of America.  The news reporters and producers of such shows are having a hard time grappling with these issues as they don’t want to be considered extreme, or kooky so they stay with the observable evidence that the public can most easily relate with.  The political left has captured the media and they have established the parameters which everyone in the business must follow.

I ran up against this issue with the education reform topics I used to cover so often with mainstream media.  I argued the cost of the school levies for a long time, but when nothing changed and the reasons were examined with facts the answers were much more sinister than even I thought.  Mainstream media isn’t prepared to deal with that reality at this time, just like they are not prepared to deal with the real reason for the Streetcar in Cincinnati, or the strategy behind the Smart Meters from Duke Energy.  Lang stuck to the cost and extreme imposition of Butler County being required to pay for the progressive Streetcar that was rammed down the throat of Cincinnati residents, and is now being pushed off into the suburbs for mysterious and illogical reasons.  The Streetcar intent seems illogical in relation to the known data that people like Cunningham and his producers at WLW are willing to deal with.  After all, Cunningham’s television show exploits the result of progressivism, so too much examination of progressive causes disturbs the apple cart of many people who make livings off them.  Mainstream media is left trying to explain only the tips of icebergs leaving much hidden below the surface.  It is in art that society must tackle the big issues so they can be seen fully, and not in the tid bits of news topics.  Artistic endeavors like this blog, paintings, movies or novels are where the bigger issues can be examined by individuals alone with their thoughts in the quiet of the night, and at their own command.

The intent of the Streetcar like all progressive causes is to eliminate suburbs and individual freedom in dedication to the foundation of collectivism.  Suburbs in Butler and Warren counties have been targeted by pretentious United Nations bureaucrats in far away cities like Rio during yearly Earth Summits to be eliminated through regulation.  County and city planners trained in colleges by Marxist professors do not even question their role in the scheme as they have been trained to be collectivists, by collectivists.  In virtually every company in the country there are now programs like Six Sigma and other consensus building efficiency measures that are rooted in global collectivism, not individual endeavor, which all are born from this trend perpetuated by liberal college professors instructed in the motivations of Earth Summit agenda points.  The intentions of collectivism as it is taught in virtually every public school and college, every company that embraces consensus building, and every public works project like the Street Car is to carry society toward the future of Anthem.  When all the elements are added up from what we see today, to what is coming in the future, the sum is what the novel Anthem is all about.

George Lang is fighting the good fight in standing up to the Duke Energy imposition of raising energy rates to cover their cost of building the Streetcar infrastructure.  But like Cunningham said, Duke will get it’s way in the end and Mayor Mallory knew it all along, just as Obama knew it when the Streetcar idea was invented in the first place as the hub of transportation in Cincinnati in the distant future when the suburbs are destroyed through taxation and all residents are forced back into the cities to preserve the green space of planet Earth.  The collectivists know they have every sector of public life covered from the media to the smallest business—that even die-hard conservatives feel uncomfortable discussing the origin and intention of progressivism outside of their own thoughts.  So what can people do, what measures can people take to strike back?

Well, since Duke Energy is at the center of two controversies, the Smart Meter program and the willingness of their company to pass off the cost of the Streetcar onto their customers who had nothing to do with voting for the stupid thing, there are options.  The best way to hit a company like Duke Energy is in their pocketbook.  Duke makes their money in two primary ways, off their infrastructure usage and off kilowatt-hours.  While we are all stuck through the monopoly power of Duke Energy in Cincinnati with their infrastructure, we do have options with how we buy the kilowatt-hours of power supplied to our homes.  Since it looks like Butler County will be forced to pay nearly $7 more on their monthly bills to cover the Streetcar that money could be returned to household income by buying kilowatt-hours of power from another company.  One such company is First Energy which can provide considerable savings to any family household.  If you own a business, you can save thousands of dollars in kilowatt usage through First Energy or companies like them.  To learn more, check them out at the link below.

Even if the savings on your electric bill is only $10 to $40 per month, it is still money that will not be going to Duke Energy and is an excellent way to use dollars to express unhappiness about Duke Energy’s willingness to pass off the cost of the Street Car to the suburbs of Ohio by caving into the whims of progressive politics without a fight.  And it will teach power companies a hard lesson that America does not get its mandates from The United Nations in Earth Summits at Rio.  Duke Energy has stated that they control the infrastructure that goes onto our homes so we have no say as to whether a Smart Meter goes on them or not, just like we have no choice but to pay the extra rates for the Streetcar in Cincinnati.  But we do have a choice of whether we purchase our kilowatt-hours from Duke Energy or First Energy.  It is in the power of choice that the degradation of political progressivism can best be defeated, and the eventual aim of taking society to the brink of the old novel Anthem—a society that has become inundated with soulless collectivism, can be averted.  Agenda 21 might sound like conspiracy theory skepticism, but it is quite real, and exists outside of the accepted realm of discussion like a cancer cell that slowly eats away a healthy body that is in denial of its presence.  It does no good to yell at Duke Energy and proclaim that they are agents of evil in direct service to The United Nations and progressive politicians who are using the green movement as the new red of communism.  But the money to feed some of these agents can be greatly reduced in retaliation for the Smart Meter program and the audacity to even consider spreading the wealth from rich suburbs to fund a streetcar in Cincinnati that is the dream of progressives.  The aim of those progressives can be seen in Ayn Rand’s novel Anthem and the path begins and ends with companies like Duke Energy who by choice or by design are guiding society in that tragic direction.

We can only be thankful that there are a few politicians like George Lang who can walk the tight rope of politics and still fight for what’s right.  And asking residents of Butler Country among others to pay for a Streetcar in Cincinnati is wrong in every meaning of the word, and deserves a recourse that will place in the mind of Duke Energy management great regret.  Give First Energy a call and start that process.  It might divide up a household electric bill into two bills one to Duke for the infrastructure and one from First Energy for the kilowatts, but half that bill won’t be going to Duke……….and that will really piss them off……..and teach them a hard lesson.
