Lakota’s Dirtiest Trick: The Monday of Shooter Doom–ahead of Election Day

OK, it’s been 24 hours since the article put up yesterday warned what would happen if an arrest was not made at Lakota due to the “gun scare” released to the media on Friday, November 1st about a supposed shooting spree coming on Monday, one day before Election Day.  So I’m going to paint the picture of what I think happened based on my experiences with the Lakota school system.  The short of it is that Lakota will stoop to no low to manipulate the public.  They require fear by their voters to override logic in order to win emotional votes.  What happened was a message was found written on a stall wall in the girls bathroom Wednesday October 30th at the Lakota East freshman building warning people to wear red to school this coming Monday if they did not want to be shot.   This prompted a letter home to parents warning them of the issue.  It just so happens that mass school shootings are the theme of this year’s levy attempt where even Sheriff Jones has whored away his conservative beliefs to support the public school in exchange for $350,000 applied to the hiring of armed officers to patrol the district’s hallways.   So don’t expect the Sheriff’s department to make any arrests in this case–because they would be arresting a radical levy supporting Lakota employee, not a student—and that would be embarrassing.

It should be easy to determine who wrote the note on a bathroom stall and if everyone did their jobs, an arrest would have been made by Friday instead of a press release going out to all the parents warning of impending doom on Monday.  But let’s pretend Lakota really wants to know who did it, here’s what they should have done.  A quick review of who was in the hall moving toward the girl’s bathroom during Wednesday would help narrow down the suspects.  Investigators should then use a handwriting expert to compare all known females who went into the bathroom that day with samples taken out of their personnel files.  Once this was done, the search would be narrowed down to roughly ten suspects who would then be interrogated to measure their responses and the perpetrator would be discovered. This should have happened already.  But it hasn’t.Lakota Letter

What most likely happened based on my experience with the institution was a crazy progressive leaning teacher went into the stall on her own accord after hearing about the terrible showing for the early voting numbers and wanted to push public sentiment toward the For Lakota message.  So she went into the bathroom probably between the 9 and 10 o’clock hour while the students were in class and wrote the message on the stall wall.  She hoped that a student would then see the message later and report the threat to authorities, which is what happened provoking mass hysteria, panic, and ultimately a spike in voter turn-out, better than what current numbers are showing for Lakota.  The reason the Lakota employee picked that particular time period is because they were nervous and wanted to get the act out-of-the-way early in the day, and also to provide time to let a student discover the message in time to alert authorities.

Of course Lakota officials wanted the message, and they don’t want to know who wrote it, because it gives them the fearful dialogue that fits their levy campaign—more security to capitalize off the Sandy Hook shootings.  In the back of their minds they actually worry about learning who wrote the letter because it would explode into another terrible school scandal right before the election.  That is why Lakota was quick to rationalize that it was a student looking for a free day off school, because that particular Monday, November 4th was originally scheduled as a day off for students.  It takes the edge off the impending doom just a bit.  But if the situation were legitimate, Superintendent Mantia and all the school board members, especially those running for re-election would be scrambling to get some face time on the various news outlets.  Instead they just turned the story over to Randy—who is running cover as usual, doing what he gets paid a lot of money to do—contain stories.

But nobody was fooled and even on the Lakota administration side, they fear the same thing I just proposed.  The very first comment when this story was reported in the West Chester Buzz:

More likely the note was posted by the school board to help get there levy attempt to pass on Nov 5th. Nothing like a good emotional scare to get people to vote the way you want them to.

I’m not the only one who suspects that the writing on the wall was intended maliciously by an inside Lakota employee who wanted their $117.50 per month raise after levy passage.  As for the Butler County Sheriff’s department they will conveniently drag their feet until after the election to reveal what they probably already know—that the author of the threat letter was a teacher who foolishly believed the scheme would incite enough panic to pass a school levy on the fourth attempt.  The Sheriff’s office will handle the case in the same way as they did the police beating in West Chester.  They will get behind their union brothers and sisters at Lakota and support them, even when the evidence says otherwise.  CLICK HERE FOR DIRECT PROOF.

As it has been well documented, my experience with Lakota indicates that they will do anything to get their way.  I have seen them participate in open extortion, boycotting, and personal character assassination attempts.  I watched the network first-hand and learned how information flows through the political structure of Lakota when first they organized a direct attack against me with the famous Lakota Survey.  CLICK HERE FOR REVIEW.  When I lashed back, it was entertaining to see how school board vice president Julie Shafer working directly with superintendent Karen Mantia pulled the political strings of Trustee Cathy Stoker to launch an attack against me in the Cincinnati Enquirer, hoping that it would put an end to No Lakota Levy.  CLICK HERE FOR REVIEW.  On more than one occasion I have watched these same people go after the individual lives of the people who stand against them and they will stoop as low as they have to in order to perform the task.  I have watched them cover up sex scandals with the same slick tenacity, and watched them openly defy the law on several occasions because like the police, they represent the authority of the state—and feel they are above the law.  So it doesn’t take much imagination to conclude that it was a teacher who wrote the message on the bathroom wall because they needed a boost in the exit polling.  No doubt they know the same information that I do regarding exit numbers from early voting.  I haven’t talked about it much because for me the election isn’t over until after Tuesday, and the NO voters have to hold their ground and show up.  They have to VOTE NO and not take it for granted that the election won’t even be close.  But so far the numbers have not been good for Lakota, and without question this has them worried enough to attempt some crazy extremist plot to win 2% to 3% of a gullible public during an election.

If the Butler County Sheriff’s department led by Sheriff Jones does find out who wrote the letter it won’t be a student that they will take to jail, it will be a teacher—or possibly even an administrator, and Lakota will experience its deepest embarrassment yet.  It will be a national story—I’ll make damn sure of it—you can place the bets now.  I think the people who currently run Lakota are vile human beings, I have seen their ugly side, and I don’t want to pay them the tax money they already extract from me against my will, let alone more.  In my opinion, they are bad people up to no good and I don’t want them teaching the next generation.  That position may seem extreme now, because not everyone has experienced them quite the way I have, but over time, most people will arrive at the same conclusion by default.  But from then to now it is important to not let Lakota get away with this public relations stunt that is criminal in nature.  The authorities cannot be trusted to do the right thing because they are all on the same team.  The only defense there is against Lakota is to keep more money out of their pockets.  And you can do that dear reader by voting NO on the Lakota levy on November 5th, 2013.  Don’t forget, and don’t take it for granted.  Let Lakota know what you think of them with a vote that will send a message more powerful than any legal action could possibly achieve.  The best form of justice is when the bad guys do get punished, and the way to do that in Lakota is to keep money out of their pockets—and in yours with a VOTE NO!

I know Sheriff Jones reads here, so if I’m wrong………….prove it.  The burden of proof falls on the Butler County Sheriff’s department because the track record at Lakota says I’m right.

And as to those who thought NO LAKOTA LEVY would be over after that little stunt on March 15th 2012.  How do you like the signs all over town, and the ads in the newspapers, and the quotes in the press?  Yea………….that’s what I thought.  :  )

Lakota Wastes More Money: The Sun Associates report that cost $19,000 to pass a levy

Over the weekend Lakota staff, school board members, and the coerced use of many dozens of children confiscated one of the buildings that tax payers own to hold a rally for the upcoming levy vote.  Of course the event received excellent media coverage as local press depends heavily on sports programs and charity stories coming out of public education for content. However, they always ignore the faults of such institutions, which was clear in the Channel 9 coverage shown below.  For the online edition, the coverage was pretty even, but for the video footage the slant was definitely in favor of the pro levy factions, ignoring many of the fallacies which have caused the desire for levy approval.

One such story that has been ignored during the entire levy campaign by virtually everyone is the notion that Lakota gave $20,000 to McKibben Demographics http://www.mckibbendemographics.com/aboutus.html to provide a detailed enrollment report as recently as February of 2013. It is a very detailed report full of the kind of information that led to the video I produced called A Whip Trick To Save Lakota.  CLICK HERE TO REVIEW.  The McKibben Report showed that Lakota was about to experience severe declines in enrollment leading to massive layoffs at the public school, which was information they did not want to hear—so they ignored it.

Last fall (Oct, 2012) Lakota spent $19,800 to Sun Associates http://www.sun-associates.com/staff.html to provide them the plan they are using as a basis for Lakota’s technology expansion behind the levy campaign. The Sun Associates plan has a lot of commentary based on surveys taken from parents, teachers, and students.  A lot of the report is academic nonsense that is meant to be viewed with progressive/Democratic eyes.  Sun Associates are a Massachusetts group in the heart of progressive territory—New England.  Other than Lakota (which they cite on their web page) all the rest of their studies have been in Massachusetts and New York—hardly bastions of conservativism—not in the way that Butler County is. Essentially, Lakota spent almost $40K to get outside advice, and one of those sources is a progressive “Think Tank” not reflective of the values in Butler County or the residents of Lakota.  The school chose to believe what they wanted to justify the levy attempt, and the media has given them a free pass choosing to do soft stories about the impact of the lack of money, and not asking the crucial question as to why.  The school recklessly spent money yet again to get two reports done, but only picked one that they could use to justify a tax increase.

This isn’t new information, and only gets reported on blog sites like this one.  It is one more example of all the reasons more funding should be denied to Lakota.  Tax increases produce money that does not go children, it gets wasted on reports like the one from Sun Associates to use as clubs against a community that doesn’t have the same values, or standards as the region the report was conducted.  The cost of those two reports is roughly the entry salary of a typical teacher at Lakota (under 5 years) and if Lakota was so worried about their employees……….or the children, they would have saved the money for the report to contribute to their payroll needs.  But they didn’t.  Instead, they held a rally at tax payer expense—because it was our building, and sent out press releases of a feel good story to the local press, which returned the favor and covered it as all parties ignored the root of the problem, reckless spending on stupid things like the Sun Associations report.

The crowd in the Channel 9 report was less than in years past, but it still indicates that there will be a number of really stupid people who will vote for the Lakota levy.  They are stupid because the school is wasting money on progressive causes that work against conservative educations and those voters are willing to trade away the values, beliefs, and futures of their children just so the parents aren’t inconvenienced with having to drive their children to school.  By voting YES they are giving Lakota a free pass to continued wasteful spending, to openly deceive the public, and perpetuate a broken management system driven by unionized collective bargaining agreements—and that is just stupid.

This story is too complicated for most 3 minute news stories or 250 word newspaper articles—so they don’t cover all those hard aspects which are at the heart of the levy vote in November.  Instead it is easier to just do a story on how parents want their busing back, and that by voting in favor of more wasteful spending, somehow the children will benefit.  The hard story is that the children will benefit because they will no longer be used as extortion mechanisms of coercion against a cash-strapped public.  For those stories, I will continue to cover them here at Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom, because apparently nobody else will.

The responsible thing to do at Lakota is to vote NO on the Lakota levy, because anything else is simply stupid, irresponsible, and equivalent to throwing good money into a black hole from which it will never return.  CLICK HERE FOR MORE.

‘The Naked Communist’ With Matt Clark: The root of the Green Bay Packers

IMAGE_713Over the weekend Matt Clark asked me to do a radio segment based my blog series dedicated to The Naked Communist.  CLICK HERE TO READ THE LATEST.  Of course I agreed even though I was traveling, specifically in the heart of labor union country–Wisconsin.  It was the perfect platform personally for me to do a radio interview as I had been thinking voraciously what the cost of communism brought to America through the labor union movement had been.  The evidence was very easy to see in the blue-collar towns of Wisconsin.  While traveling, a woman sat next to me and told me her life story even though it was quite clear to her that I was trying to read.  She complained about air travel and how cramped the seats were, even as her girth was spilling over into my side.  She complained that the airline companies just wanted to make “profits” by cramming as many people into the plane as they could—that it would make more sense to have more flights per day so people didn’t have to be so cramped.    She then proceeded to declare that automotive travel wasn’t any better.  Modern cars broke down too often and the car companies were greedy and only wanted “profits” and they were evil.  I asked her what companies were supposed to stand for if not for profit, and she said that they should stand behind the people who work for them.  I asked her where she was from, and she stated proudly with a bold Wisconsin accent…………..Madison—the birthplace of the labor movement and progressive party in America.  I said, ah-ha, I understand now.  She smiled a bit wondering what my reference indicated.  I then asked her how she felt about communism—and she went on a half hour tirade about how her father fought against it in Vietnam, and she hung an American flag from her porch every day and was happy to see the communists fail in Russia.  I listened with sadness as she had no idea that the roots of her thinking were fashioned from communism, and that she was a functioning collectivist shaped by progressive Wisconsin politics over the last century.  It was in this context that I gave a very animated interview from my hotel room to Matt Clark during his Saturday radio show on WAAM in Ann Arbor.  Watch and listen:

Wisconsin politics during the 20th Century was shaped by Robert Marion “Fighting Bob”[1] La Follette, Sr. (June 14, 1855 – June 18, 1925) He was an American Republican (and later a Progressive) politician. He served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, was the Governor of Wisconsin, and was also a U.S. Senator from Wisconsin (1906 to 1925). He ran for President of the United States as the nominee of his own Progressive Party in1924, carrying Wisconsin and 17% of the national popular vote.

His wife Belle Case La Follette and sons Robert M. La Follette, Jr. and Philip La Follette led his political faction in Wisconsin into the 1940s. La Follette has been called “arguably the most important and recognized leader of the opposition to the growing dominance of corporations over the Government”[2] and is one of the key figures pointed to in Wisconsin‘s long history of political liberalism.

He is best remembered as a proponent of progressivism and a vocal opponent of railroad trusts, bossism, World War I, and the League of Nations. In 1957, a Senate Committee selected La Follette as one of the five greatest U.S. Senators, along with Henry Clay, Daniel Webster, John C. Calhoun, and Robert Taft. A 1982 survey asking historians to rank the “ten greatest Senators in the nation’s history” based on “accomplishments in office” and “long-range impact on American history,” placed La Follette first, tied with Henry Clay.[3]Robert La Follette is one of five outstanding senators memorialized by portraits in the Senate reception room in US Capitol. One of America’s top schools for public affairs, located at the University of Wisconsin-Madison bears his name.

From 1901 until 1906, La Follette served as Governor of Wisconsin. During his first term, he proposed to set up a railroad commission, imposed an ad valorem tax on the railroad companies, and established a direct primary system. The Stalwarts blocked his agenda, and he refused to compromise with them.

During the 1904 elections, the Stalwarts organized to oppose La Follette’s nomination and moved to block any reform legislation. La Follette began working to unite insurgent Democrats to form a broad coalition. He did manage to secure the passage of the primary bill and some revision to the railroad tax structure.[2]

When the legislative session concluded, La Follette traveled throughout Wisconsin reading the “roll call”; that is, he read the votes of Stalwart Republicans to the people in an effort to elect Progressives. During this campaign, La Follette gained national attention when muckraking journalist Lincoln Steffens began to cover his campaign.

With the press coverage and his successful re-election, La Follette rose to become a national figure. His message against “vast corporate combinations”[2] attracted more journalists and more progressives.

As governor, La Follette championed numerous progressive reforms, including the first workers’ compensation system, railroad rate reform, direct legislation, municipal home rule, open government, the minimum wage, non-partisan elections, the open primary system, direct election of U.S. Senators, women’s suffrage, and progressive taxation. He created an atmosphere of close cooperation between the state government and the University of Wisconsin in the development of progressive policy, which became known as the Wisconsin Idea. The goals of his policy included the recall, referendum, direct primary, and initiative. All of these were aimed at giving citizens a more direct role in government. The Wisconsin Idea promoted the idea of grounding legislation on thorough research and expert involvement. To implement this program, La Follette began working with University of Wisconsin–Madison faculty. This made Wisconsin a “laboratory for democracy” and “the most important state for the development of progressive legislation”.[2] As governor, La Follette signed legislation that created the Wisconsin Legislative Reference Library (now Bureau) to ensure that a research agency would be available for the development of legislation.

In 1911, La Follette set up a campaign to mobilize the progressive elements in the Republican Party behind his presidential bid. He made a disastrous speech in February 1912 before a gathering of leading magazine editors that caused many to doubt his stability.[12] Most of his supporters deserted him for Theodore Roosevelt[citation needed].

Embittered, La Follette opposed both Roosevelt and William Howard Taft in the 1912 election. When his former ally, Governor Francis E. McGovern, supported Roosevelt, La Follette broke with him, allowing the conservative Republicans under Emanuel Philipp to take control of Wisconsin in the decisive 1914 election. La Follette’s forces were out of power in the state from 1912 to 1920.[13]

In 1924, the Federated Farmer-Labor Party (FF-LP) sought to nominate La Follette as its candidate. The FF-LP sought to unite all progressive parties into a single national Labor Party.

However, after a bitter convention in 1923, the Communist-controlled Workers Party gained control of the national organization’s structure. Just prior to its 1924 convention in St. Paul, La Follette denounced the Communists and refused to be considered for the FF-LP endorsement. With La Follette’s snub, the FF-LP disintegrated, leaving only the Minnesota Farmer-Labor Party.

Instead, La Follette formed an independent Progressive Party and accepted its nomination in Cleveland with Democratic Senator Burton K. Wheeler of Montana as his running mate. The American Federation of Labor, the Socialist Party of America, the Conference for Progressive Political Action and most of the former supporters of the FF-LP along with various former “Bull Moose” Progressives and Midwestern Progressive movement activists then joined La Follette and supported the Progressive Party.  Many who today call themselves “progressives” sincerely trace their political roots to the Progressive Parties of Teddy Roosevelt, Henry Wallace or Robert La Follette, Sr.  But many others on the left nowadays call themselves “progressives” as a deceptive euphemism for more precise, less popular words that describe their real political objectives and ideology – words such as “socialist,” “Marxist,” or “Communist.”  Even through La Follette denounced the communists during the 1924 convention it was only politically that he separated from them, not ideologically.  He did however attract the softer version of communism to his party affiliation in the American socialists.

Wisconsin as I traveled around it emitted the classic hope of the early 20th Century progressives—vast spans of middle-class residences, labor unions, and a generally anti-corporation mentality.  Socialism was everywhere, even in the Green Bay Packer paraphernalia at the airport the only NFL team that is owned by “the people,” not a corporate owner. All money earned goes back into the club.

The Packers are deeply rooted in the Wisconsin city where they were founded in 1919. They were named after a local meat processing plant, the Indian Packing Company, which paid for the first uniforms. Starting in the 1920s, the Green Bay Football Corp. made a series of public stock offerings. In 1950, 1,900 local residents each put up $25 a share to buy the team.

“Green Bay Packers, Inc., has been a publicly owned, non-profit corporation since Aug. 18, 1923, when original articles of incorporation were filed with Wisconsin’s secretary of state.

A total of 4,750,937 shares are owned by 112,120 stockholders — none of whom receives any dividend on the initial investment.

The corporation is governed by a board of directors and a seven-member executive committee.

One of the more remarkable business stories in American history, the team is kept viable by its shareholders — its unselfish fans. Even more incredible, the Packers have survived during the current era, permeated by free agency and the NFL salary cap. And, thanks in large part to Brown County’s passage of the 2000 Lambeau Field referendum, the club will remain solvent and highly competitive well into the future due to its redeveloped stadium.

Fans have come to the team’s financial rescue on several occasions, including four previous stock sales: 1923, 1935, 1950 and 1997.

To protect against someone taking control of the team, the articles of incorporation prohibit any person from owning more than 200,000 shares.”

Silently, many who profess to see communism work in America look at teams like the Green Bay Packers and the progressivism of Wisconsin as hope that socialism and communism will still work.  Not long after my radio interview with Matt, which became quite animated at times, I had the profound desire to return to Florida and bask in the capitalism of the Disney World complex.  Wisconsin and the people there were too bleak and small-minded for me.  They were friendly, but dramatically philosophically limited which was evident in gross abundance by the small town cafes and general business climate.  If not for their dependence on the federal government, their social experiments into communism through the mask of progressivism would have failed long ago.   Suddenly I am a massive Scott Walker fan as it gives me hope that Wisconsin residents are just now pushing away their history of communist acceptance through Robert La Follette, Sr’s progressive party.  As for the woman on the plane with me, she was the kind of person that Matt and I spoke about……..her foundation beliefs were rooted in communism, only she didn’t know it.  She believed falsely, just like the union brothers of Wisconsin, home of the Harley Davidson motorcycle and the dream quest of traveling to Sturgis every August on a freedom driven pilgrimage.  The labor unions and collective ownership the unions, and Harley riders generally subscribe to are experiments in communism advocated by 20th Century politics implemented before the Cold War with the Soviet Union.

There was almost nothing I liked about Wisconsin.  I was never so happy to board an airplane as I was upon leaving.  When the wheels left the runway, and the plane moved into the sky, I could feel the oppressive pull of socialism drifting away beneath my feet.  As I looked through  the window down at the rows and rows of middle-class homes stacked in rows of uniformity I could have been looking down upon a small European town also infected with socialism—soft core communism.  The persistence of that socialism doesn’t dissipate until just south of Chicago where Indiana is now a right-to-work state and Ohio at least outside of Cleveland still embraces capitalism.  I didn’t argue with the woman, I just listened to her while trying to read my book.   She was a mixed up concoction of many political ideologies given to her by years of public education, left-winged controlled media empires, and unionized neighbors who falsely believe they are American patriots just because they stick a flag on the back of their Harley Davidson motorcycle—built in Wisconsin by union workers supporting their publicly owned football team, the Green Bay Packers.  Wisconsin is the result of what The Naked Communist warned about, the continued experiment into socialism at the expense of capitalism and a state I am eager to see turn away  eventually from the communism of the labor movement and an embrace into the kind of capitalism that drives the rest of America.  It is time to close the book on the dark days of communism in America so to save the mind of the poor people of Wisconsin from a doomed philosophy that has left them ignorantly blissful from their lowered expectations and contorted patriotism.

Lakota Employees Seeking A $117.50 Per Month Pay Raise: The hidden intention of the 2013 Levy

Even some of my most bizarre claims written about here at Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom will prove over time and lack of emotional investment to be correct.  Truth is often stranger than any fiction, and the blackness of the hearts behind politics are more sinister than a conscious mind can often allow itself to comprehend.  And this has never been more true than the Lakota levy of 2013 where the claim of necessity has been the safety of students from unforeseen dangers, assistance to the parents by returning some busing privileges, and a maintenance of real estate values to the Lakota community.  The reality is much, much grimmer than that, and once it is understood and accepted reveals the true intention of the proposed tax increase, which can be seen in the following chart.  Lakota employees stand to make after the acceptance of the tax increase at least $117.50 more per month with the proposed raises lined up for a 2014 teacher’s contract with the LEA.  As wages in the private sector have hovered around stagnation, and the economy through government tampering has flat lined, government workers here in the form of Lakota teachers and administrators seek to defy market value with forced tax increases to do nothing but pad their own pockets with looted money—stolen through coercion and deceits.Slide 4

The coercion and deceits are the emotional pleas and out-right lies about the status of the Lakota finances and the cause of educational failure.  Lakota uses children as emotional hostages to move voters into seeing their point of view.  As government workers they are using the same strategy that was so evident during the government shutdown where even the Great Smoky Mountains was shut down to inconvenience visitors into voting for politicians who will continue throwing money into a bottomless pit of inefficiency, and unregulated spending.  Even when Blount County police offered to keep the park open by doing the job of the park rangers, it was rejected for the same reason that Lakota would never allow a person like me to step in and run Lakota from the teaching side, or the finance side the way it should be properly.  The goal is never to solve the problem in government, but only to create more if the terms are not meant.  In Lakota’s situation, they propose less pain to the community if they get a tax increase, but the only thing that will change is that the employees will get a raise when their current wages are already too high and most of their positions are completely unneeded.  Most of the assistant positions at Lakota could be eliminated completely without having any impact on education.  Many jobs at the administrative level were created by government for the benefit of government.  Most of the employees at Lakota outside of direct supervision spend most of their day gossiping to one another and playing on the internet.  They don’t do much, yet they expect to get a raise in pay when they already average over 30% more in compensation than the average Lakota tax payer.

The Lakota levy is about nothing but money and they are more than willing to use the children of the community as strategic bargaining chips of pure extortion to protect themselves from more economic bad times ahead.  2014 will also bring additional costs to the average tax payer of Lakota through the Obamacare impact that will drive up insurance premiums from one of the largest socialist programs ever attempted against the American people with the most intrusive wealth redistribution scam ever conducted.  The exact cost of that intrusion will not be known until insurance companies figure out how much they are allowed to drive up their costs now that they are even more of an oligopoly than they were before, as the federal government has just guaranteed their existence and profitability.  Just for being born, every living, breathing citizen is now required to purchase the product of health insurance as choice has been removed.  (No wonder insurance companies supported Obama on this matter)  It is an arrangement by the federal government for the good of itself.  Similarly, Lakota is doing the same thing.  Every human being born is required by the federal government to get an education approved by the state.  For most children that means the public school that dominates the politics of their local community.  No matter how good the school is, or bad, there isn’t any choice in the matter.  If school is not attended, and taxes paid to it, coercion will be used to either jail the perpetrators, or seize the property for lack of payment.  The threat of coercion keeps everyone paying money through taxes even when they know it’s fundamentally wrong.  Lakota knows this, so they can get by with their exploitation of their students and the parents because government has given them a monopoly over the education process, so performance is never the issue.  Lakota is free to hire unneeded staff to “create jobs, or go on strike through their education union to drive up their wage rates.  But make no mistake about it, the Lakota levy is about nothing other than giving the employees at Lakota an average pay raise of $117.50 per month.

Most every tax payer in Lakota during 2014 will pay a lot more in either taxes or health insurance premiums—likely both.  Most families could easily be paying more than $150 per month in 2014 for the same level of insurance as they had in 2013 just because of the wealth redistribution plan enacted by the government against them and on top of that, Social Security is set to increase as well.  Then there is the Lakota levy where yet another inefficient government blob of incestuous public employees wish to raise taxes on the same tax base that is already hurting—and the only reason they are doing it is because the employees at Lakota want a pay raise, when most of the tax payers contributing to the school have no prospect of any kind of raise in the foreseeable future.  Some of them will likely lose their jobs once Obamacare kicks in.   Employers will not be able to afford carrying them any longer due to the cost increases.  But Lakota doesn’t care because whenever they get into trouble they can afford to carry all their employees even when declining enrollment states they should have a massive layoff.  Lakota can do this because the federal government has given them coercive power over property owners due to a monopoly status.  When Lakota needs more money they just propose a tax increase and promise that the children of the tax payers will not be harmed if the money is paid.

Meanwhile the umbrella of the federal government through now health care, through Social Security, and especially education hits the same tax payers year after year with cost increases where they nickel and dime every productive citizen until there isn’t anything left—and they don’t care whether or not the system is sustainable or not.  They are government, and they only want what they want and don’t care about the expense.  Lakota is a government entity—nothing more or less.  And they want their minimum pay raises of $117.50 per month and they could care less what it does to the rest of their community.  For that reason alone, every person of right mind should VOTE NO on the Lakota levy, and they should not feel ashamed in any way.  Saying NO is the only measure of fiscal restraint that there is against such a system that is parasitic in nature, and destructive in every way conceivable extending well beyond the wildest conspiracy theory.  Saying NO is a responsibility dedicated to good judgment in the face of an encroaching evil known as the federal government which looks to feed off the innocent for the benefit of its own growth and social imposition.

The Truth Behind Obamacare: Wisdom from a constitutional attorney

Obamacare is the most obvious encroachment of socialism into the lives of every American ever attempted.  It is an unequivocal intrusion of socialism against freedom.  It is an attack against the American Constitution by lawyer types looking to build their own legacy defiling the first attempt in human history at self-rule and individual freedom.  Most of the time I cover topics based on my own viewpoints.  However, occasionally I read something that drills home a subject in a way that I admire, and one such articulation of obscure analysis on the subject of Obamacare can be seen below—as interpreted by a constitutional lawyer.   He has read the entire bill, and provides a review based on those facts.  I have not read the entire bill, and I never will.  Before I follow that law….Obamacare…….I will break the law before I waste my life reading that crap.  But this guy has, and everyone should read his opinion.  So I present it to you as it was sent to me.  And I suggest that you send it dear reader to a friend or family member who needs to hear it.

The Truth About the Health Care Bills

Well, I have done it! I have read the entire text of proposed House
Bill 3200: The Affordable Health Care Choices Act of 2009. I studied
it with particular emphasis from my area of expertise, constitutional
law. I was frankly concerned that parts of the proposed law that were
being discussed might be unconstitutional. What I found was far worse
than what I had heard or expected.

To begin with, much of what has been said about the law and its
implications is in fact true, despite what the Democrats and the media
are saying. The law does provide for rationing of health care,
particularly where senior citizens and other classes of citizens are
involved, free health care for illegal immigrants, free abortion
services, and probably forced participation in abortions by members of
the medical profession.

The Bill will also eventually force private insurance companies out of
business, and put everyone into a government run system. All decisions
about personal health care will ultimately be made by federal
bureaucrats, and most of them will not be health care professionals.
Hospital admissions, payments to physicians, and allocations of
necessary medical devices will be strictly controlled by the
government.

However, as scary as all of that is, it just scratches the surface. In
fact, I have concluded that this legislation really has no intention of
providing affordable health care choices. Instead it is a convenient
cover for the most massive transfer of power to the Executive Branch of
government that has ever occurred, or even been contemplated. If this
law or a similar one is adopted, major portions of the Constitution of
the United States will effectively have been destroyed.

The first thing to go will be the masterfully crafted balance of power
between the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches of the U.S.
Government. The Congress will be transferring to the Obama
Administration authority in a number of different areas over the lives
of the American people, and the businesses they own.

The irony is that the Congress doesn’t have any authority to legislate
in most of those areas to begin with! I defy anyone to read the text
of the U.S. Constitution and find any authority granted to the members
of Congress to regulate health care.

This legislation also provides for access, by the appointees of the
Obama administration, of all of your personal healthcare direct
violation of the specific provisions of the 4th Amendment to the
Constitution information, your personal financial information, and the
information of your employer, physician, and hospital. All of this is
a protecting against unreasonable searches and seizures. You can also
forget about the right to privacy. That will have been legislated into
oblivion regardless of what the 3rd and 4th Amendments may provide.

If you decide not to have healthcare insurance, or if you have private
insurance that is not deemed acceptable to the Health Choices
Administrator appointed by Obama, there will be a tax imposed on you.
It is called a tax instead of a fine because of the intent to avoid
application of the due process clause of the 5th Amendment . However ,
that doesn’t work because since there is nothing in the law that allows
you to contest or appeal the imposition of the tax, it is definitely
depriving someone of property without the due process of law.

So, there are three of those pesky amendments that the far left hate so
much, out of the original ten in the Bill of Rights ,that are effectively
nullified by this law. It doesn’t stop there though.

The 9th Amendment that provides : The enumeration in the Constitution,
of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others
retained by the people;

The 10th Amendment states : The powers not delegated to the United
States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are
preserved to the States respectively, or to the people. Under the
provisions of this piece of Congressional handiwork neither the people
nor the states are going to have any rights or powers at all in many
areas that once were theirs to control.

I could write many more pages about this legislation, but I think you
get the idea. This is not about health care; it is about seizing power
and limiting rights. Article 6 of the Constitution requires the
members of both houses of Congress to “be bound by oath or affirmation
to support the Constitution.” If I was a member of Congress I would not
be able to vote for this legislation or anything like it, without
feeling I was violating that sacred oath or affirmation. If I voted
for it anyway, I would hope the American people would hold me
accountable.

For those who might doubt the nature of this threat, I suggest they
consult the source, the US Constitution, and Bill of Rights . There you
can see exactly what we are about to have taken from us.

Justin Binik-Thomas For Deer Park School Board: Listen to him on the air with Matt Clark

If you live in the Deer Park school district then you know by now  you are lucky to have the opportunity to vote for Justin Binick-Thomas for school board.  Justin rightly believes that he can solve some of the education issues that are going on in Ohio from the inside and he’s putting his time and money where his mouth is.  Justin is a friend of mine, so I know he is beyond corruption, and I couldn’t think of a better mind than his to work on school board.  There will not be any sending Justin Binick-Thomas to a OSBA conference in Columbus and expecting him to become indoctrinated by the education empire of statism.  Rather, Justin’s heart is pure, and he is as righteous as anyone can expect.  This is why he was on the WAAM radio in Ann Arbor, Michigan over this past weekend to talk to another friend of mine, Matt Clark during the Clarkcast—saving the Republic one broadcast at a time.

It might be remembered that Justin is the guy at the center of the IRS scandal as he was targeted directly by the IRS as one of the founders of the Cincinnati Tea Party.  During the broadcast with Matt, Justin spoke a bit about the current status of that particular scandal which is ongoing.   Justin also spoke about the nature of Common Core and his thoughts about state dictated education practices versus those driven from the kind of school boards he is attempting to become a member of.

The way it was supposed to work is that good school boards had direct control over their costs, and the educational content.   Some school districts would naturally be better than others so families would be attracted to school districts that were of a higher quality than school districts that were poorly run.  The education system was conceived with competition in mind, and this was to reflect the capitalist nature of American education.  However, labor unions over the last 50 years have lobbied hard to remove competition from the education system, and following the socialist model of their founding sought to make all school districts equal no matter what their location which has culminated in complete state-run education dictated from WashingtonD.C. in the form of Common Core.

Justin’s attempt in running for school board is to reverse this corrosive trend and wrestle away from state control those items in education that belong under the control of communities.  Still school boards insist during each election that school levies should be passed so that they can manage their districts, but due to union control modern school boards have little power over anything but to raise money for their unions which have infected their districts like insects.  Justin will not be this kind of school board member.

Education as it is today is dictated by the state departments of education and school districts are left to deal with the aftermath of all the unfunded mandates.  Children are the direct victims of this policy and the danger of ruining the minds of entire generations with concepts of statism is alarmingly evident.  Justin is offering the people of Deer Park the kind of school board member who truly has the values of his community at heart, before the federal Department of Education was created in 1979, before President Bush’s “No Child Left Behind” statism, and now Common Core—all attempts of by the federal government to control education with the same vigor they wish to control the environment, the economy, health care, and virtually every aspect of human life.  Justin Binik-Thomas is offering to be the kind of school board member that was often elected prior to those government intrusions, and that is a rare find.

A vote for Justin Binik-Thomas is the best thing you can do for your child if you live in the Deer Park school district and care about the education your child is getting.  I often say that modern schools are just glorified baby sitting services driven by union radicalism demanding extraordinary pay for the employees.  Justin is an old-fashioned candidate who has all the ability to retake American education one district at a time starting with his own.  A vote for Justin is a vote for goodness, intelligence, and a better America by inspiring children with a real education, instead of the crap they are given through modern state-run institutions.

Say NO To Perverts At Lakota: Sex, Sex, and More Sex–three times in four months during a levy campaign

Sex, and sex and more sex at Lakota schools with underage girls.  The reckless antics by Lakota employees continue even under the microscope of tax increase attempts going on the ballot.  For the third time in four months a full or part-time Lakota employee has been accused of having improper communications or contact with female students, as reported by the Cincinnati Enquirer.  The situation is so out of control that it is absolutely terrifying to consider how many of these employees have not yet been caught.

“In July, an Enquirer search of public records revealed that a full-time Lakota West math teacher – George Merk – had his teaching license suspended for 45 days during the summer break under an agreement with state education officials.

Merk admitted to state official’s improper behavior in communicating with some students but did not cross into physical contact.

And later in July, Robert E. Supinger, a long-term substitute teacher at Lakota West, was accused of kissing a student whom he also took to meet his parents.

Supinger was investigated by Lakota officials while he was teaching during the 2011-12 school year. Last July, state education officials revoked the 25-year-old Supinger’s teaching license; he is no longer allowed to teach in Ohio.”

Why To Vote For Mark Welch and Matt King: A debate for West Chester Trustee

Over this past week, there were a couple of public debates allowing the current West Chester trustees Catherine Stoker and Lee Wong to defend their records against the challengers Mark Welch and Matt King.  I support Mark and Matt and you dear reader will too after watching the video shown below.  Clearly Mark and Matt are much more competent as potential trustees.  Just listen to them.  There really isn’t any question.

Listening and watching Wong and Stoker defending their records,  Stoker came across as a career, 20 year politician.  Her comments were political, polished, and non-committal, the way long time politicians always are.  Wong on the other hand declared that the reason he should be trustee again was because “people like bike paths, they like to talk to one another, and he rides his bicycle all over West Chester.”  Serious!  He must have said it 7 times during the debate.  The most telling aspects of the debate are the things that Stoker and Wong took credit for and the things they said were out of their control.  A couple of those things were: “zoning regulations were voted on by citizens.”  We are not supposed to blame the trustees who had final approval of these regulations, because it was the will of the people. “The land use plan was put together by a citizens committee.”  In other words, voters cannot blame trustees who had final approval of the plan, because a citizen committee of ass kissing Agenda 21 loving statists created it under their subtle nudges.  “Zoning review committee is manned by citizens.”—whom Trustees appointed and Trustees will have final approval of their work. “The citizens voted for the aggregation program(s)”—(so trustees who voted for approval are off the hook).  See how it works?  Listen carefully to the way the current trustees try to shrug off any responsibility for anything that might be unpleasant.

Stoker blamed the withholding of legal expenses from inclusion in the trustee agenda on staff not being able to pay a vendor, a vendor billing at the current rate of $290 per hour that could not be contacted for longer terms, a vendor whose billings were included in over half a million dollars of legal expenses to the township during 2012?  In defending the Wong and Stoker exclusion of Fiscal Officer from executive sessions, Stoker cast doubt on the integrity of the Fiscal Officer without cause.  But yet, as trustees, Wong and Stoker claim all the credit for the successful operations of the township and the growth of commerce and industry.  No credit to the developers, investors, merchants, donors, etc.—the visionaries who really made it work—or the staff and employees of the township who helped enable it.  Bet you didn’t know that video was so exciting did you?  Watch it again with “educated eyes.”

If this debate doesn’t clear things up about who the people are behind the campaign signs, then it needs to be watched until it does—because the differences are incredibly obvious.  The decision is basically does West Chester want a couple of long-term career politicians who have little idea how to run the community, or do they want a couple of highly competent businessmen who have more than two cents to apply to the various problems of community management.

For me it is easy to decide.  I wouldn’t vote for Wong because he’s certainly not competent.  He is a nice enough guy, but there is more to running a community’s finances than riding a bicycle around West Chester.  And with Stoker, she is too politically savy to actually do the will of the people.  She is a typical politician, and that alone makes her unqualified.  The only real answer is Welch and King.  Those two guys represent opportunity.  The other two represent stagnation, complacency, and a slide backwards toward the business cycle of so many Cincinnati communities that have had their day in the sun, then fallen to decline due to corrosive politicians.

The Panic Driven Lakota Looter: Helping the pro levy side find some help

If you are a Frito eating, couch sitting, pill popping insecure parent who is seeking a free education for your children off the backs of residents in the Lakota school district I want to help you with an announcement.  The school principals working with the various PTO groups at Lakota are frustrated that there aren’t more social degenerates to join their ranks in this election of 2013.  They are concerned that there doesn’t seem to be the same “passion” for helping to pass a devastating tax increase this time around.  At least that is the word from within their pro levy ranks.  Outwardly, it is business as usual—apply socialist leaning tax increases to brainwash children into mass collectivism—and lie, cheat and steal to accomplish the task.

I PROMISE it won’t be as bad as it sounds!  Endeavor already filled a phone banking session back in September and made HUNDREDS of calls in less than 2 hours – and everyone came out alive!  🙂  Now it’s time to fill a canvassing session to get people out to VOTE!  As the people who participated in the phone banking can tell you, we are not trying to convince “no” voters to change their minds.  We are simply getting information out and reminding people of the importance of actually casting their ballots.  The levy committee will provide training, including a script and materials. We will travel in teams of 2 so you don’t have to go alone!

We are sharing a session with Heritage on Wednesday, October 30th.  Endeavor is committed to filling 20 spots (10 teams of 2).  We will all meet at Heritage at 4:30 pm for training and then head out from there.  Missy (Heritage’s principal) and I will provide pizza for our awesome volunteers before we hit the pavement.   Please consider volunteering about 3 hours on this evening to help get the “yes” votes to the polls!  Research proves that door to door communication is absolutely critical to winning any campaign.

As it can be seen, the principals of several Lakota schools are behind this effort and there are scripts, phone banks and all out attempts to turn NO voters into Yes voters.  They are supposedly doing this on their own time, to avoid violating Ohio law which states that school employees cannot support levy activity. It doesn’t matter to anybody that many of these plans, emails and phone calls do occur during work hours.  But when it comes to what a lot of these school principals get paid at Lakota, a few weekends of time volunteered is worth it to them. It becomes clear quickly what’s in it for the school administrators at Lakota.  It’s all about money, and they need enough mindless supporters to jump on board and support their financial scam.  Unfortunately, because of the efforts over the years of educating the public, more people than ever know what is behind these types of games.  It gives me great pride to see that No Lakota Levy has evolved into such a respectable organization that provides so much wonderful content.  It has come a long way from a website that my daughter and I put together on a shoe string budget.  Some of the smartest minds of the Lakota business community are behind the website, and it shows.  I am very proud and happy to share a community with those people as they have taken No Lakota Levy to new levels of competency.

Without groups like No Lakota Levy, there is no defense against the kind of school sponsored activities described in the literature above from the PTO group.  No Lakota Levy today is a kinder, gentler version of a tax fighting organization than when I was with them, but that doesn’t reduce their effectiveness.  I feel more passionately over the wrong doings that occur within the education industry than most people do, so my attitude over public education has reflected that social position.  I obviously do not like supporters and employees of public education for philosophical reasons that I see detrimental to the human race—and capitalism.  The current members of No Lakota Levy are good community minded people who simply wish the facts of the education nightmare currently going on in the Lakota school district be known, and on their new website, they let the facts tell the whole story without a lot of emotion to drive the temperament—which is very good.

The reason for this upcoming Lakota levy, for the proposed impact on businesses, residents barely scraping by, and all the tax payers about to be rampaged with 20% increases in their health care costs due to Obamacare, is to support the salary structure shown above, from the No Lakota Levy website.  The reason that the principals of the schools mentioned are hard at work building a network of levy supporting zombies to do their dirty ground work of tax increase promotion is to protect their wage structure with perceived value hidden behind layers of emotion.  They are protecting their jobs which pay outrageously high benefits for being simply glorified baby sitters, and they need the levy to continue their corrosive pillaging of the Lakota community.

The reason the numbers of people volunteering for these PTO rally events is declining is because more people than ever know why Lakota is financially strapped.  It’s not for lack of money, in the same way that Washington politicians just approved a debt ceiling increase over $17 trillion while tax payers are paying more money to the government than at any point in American history, the government is still spending more money than they are taking in—Lakota plans to spend more money than they take in because of poor management choices—which become glaringly clear when the salary structure is shown.

I’m normally not a person who calls other people names.  I actually do listen to people who think differently than I do.  However, I have learned with these levy supporters that they are fanatically ignorant to the facts of reality and they truly wish to hurt other people with their misguided world view—and neurotic sentiments.  I find them despicable, detrimental to the furtherance of human evolution, and woefully destructive as thinking sentient beings.  I have grown to despise them for their desire to harm entire communities with high taxes based on no fact driven analysis which stays with every single property owner of Liberty and West Chester Townships for most of their lives.  The short-sightedness of the levy supporter angers me greatly.

But even I have a little compassion for them when they try to host a rally, and nobody wants to show up because everyone thinks they are idiots.  They’ll have the usual levy fanatics—the kind of people who still think they are high school cheerleaders and feel so guilty over what crappy parents they are, that they think by passing a levy with all their volunteerism they can show their kids how much they care.  But a vast majority of the people will sit on the sidelines and resent the bastions of greed which the pro levy supporters at Lakota represent because they understand the end game.  The sum of the entire ordeal is in the extraordinary wages the school employees make, and their willingness to use children as emotional hostages in order to secure even more money for themselves at the expense of everyone.  For that reason I think these levy supporters are the most disgusting people I have ever met, and deserve to feel the pain of reality with a NO vote on November 5th.

Rebel Republicans Versus The Old School GOP: How Cindy Carpenter’s War Chest Gets Filled, and Why

Of course John Boehner and the rest of the Republicans caved as the debt limit neared.  Business and politics are so sinfully entangled that they can no longer be viewed separately, which is a tremendous problem.   Shortly after the deal was done and the Democrats and Republicans agreed on a bill that did nothing to Obamacare, the Republicans yielded once again to the radicals in Washington prompting Boehner to call his golf buddy 700 WLW talk show host Bill Cunningham to brag about it.  It is also noted that Cunningham’s other good local friend is Sheriff Jones who is about to be a special guest at Cindy Carpenter’s fundraising reception.  The network of the old statist bound GOP was clear in those defining moments of American history where the temperament of the nation moved to the left yet again because of the corrosive politics about to be unveiled.  

To understand what is going on with the Republican Party at the level of Washington D.C. it is best to look at examples within our local communities where the characters are better known, then understand that the same type of intermingling of ideals driven by crony capitalism is taking place.  When it is said that John Boehner is a dirty dealer willing to sacrifice conservative values in favor of a deal the context of Boehner’s construction must be understood.  The people who put him into power in the first place must be examined—then their reasons require understanding as to motive.  Understanding that, all one need to do is look at the Butler County Commissioner Cindy Carpenter fundraiser and study who was involved and why—because it is the same political machine that supports John Boehner.1FUND RAISER INVITATION

Many of the people in the following story are people I know, and the nature of the described activity is something that disgusts me.  Some of them I grew up with, and I think a lot of.  I disagree with their actions, but I like them as people because while I represent the New Rebellion of Conservative Republicanism, and they represent the Old School Machine Politics of the GOP, we have in common a love of capitalism.  The biggest differences between us are their love of crony capitalism and my love of laissez-faire capitalism.  Both views are far superior to the socialist leaning Democrats who are philosophically based on wealth redistribution.  At least the characters below are creating jobs, expanding the economy, and making the world better.  However, the alignment of business and politics should be forbidden, but as it will be shown below, is the dominate concern of the parties involved.  Politics should not be about using government to advance business ideals, but unfortunately, that is the current way of doing business, and it shouldn’t be.

They say that money is the mother’s milk of politics and it is absolutely true that you cannot run a campaign without money.  A few well-off politicians fund their own campaigns and do not have to take money from donors.  Those who are well-off were successful and are proven leaders who should be in the greatest position financially, socially, and philosophically to represent a republic.  Others, whose personal finances are less substantial, find themselves obliged to use a variety of methods to accumulate the money necessary to run for office.    This is the kind of person that John Boehner is, and County Commissioner Cindy Carpenter.  It is among the career politicians, however, that the fine art of raising money so that they can continue holding office has become a way of life that varies between the moral and the immoral role of government infringement into individual lives.

There are always individuals who have businesses that can either be helped or hurt by political office holders.  They tend to be generous donors to the campaigns of incumbents who will make the decisions that will positively or negatively impact those business owners businesses, thus the concept of crony capitalism was born.  Power-hungry nut jobs who would be successful in no other endeavor find they have power over businessmen and women because they hold the regulatory purses of a community.  Smart business people find that to appease these parasites, they must contribute money to purchase the loyalty of the politicians and once they have them in their pocket, they keep them in place to preserve their business interests.

There is yet another source of “donations” to incumbents that is less well-known.  In the not too distant past in Butler County it was common for the holders of elective office to require as a condition of employment that their subordinates register in their political party and work the streets when election time came distributing literature and actively campaigning to get their boss re-elected.   This even went so far as to have office holders subtly require that their employees  make contributions to their boss’ election campaign.  There was a not too subtle suggestion that promotions or continued employment depended on the size of the contribution.

If you have the opportunity to ask anyone who was in the employment of Butler County 20 years ago and you will easily confirm this.

The system existed because the non-union county employees are “employees at will.”  That is to say, they can be let go without any explanation, union workers have used this practice to advance their cause for years, and is yet another by-product of crony capitalism.  This is the cause of most government employees nationally who are unionized.  Unfortunately instead of the situation in Butler Country where such the trend was to push for employees to become Republican, union employees are pushed into voting for Democrats.  Both use collectivism to advance a political cause, and are wrong in their approach.   There is no civil service system on the county level as there is in the Federal Government where government employees have a myriad of rules protecting them and preventing them from being discharged at the whim of the elected official.  This Federal system is the result of laws enacted after President Garfield was assassinated by a disgruntled office seeker.

The question comes as to whether or not this practice still exists.  Imagine if you would the case of a county commissioner.  The commissioners have no direct employees, but they do control the budgets of every department in the county.  The good will of a commissioner can ensure that your budget is not “trimmed” as much as might be otherwise appropriate when it comes time to tighten the belt.   County commissioners also approve a wide variety of land use rezoning.  They wield, as a result, a great deal of influence that can be turned to the purpose raising those pesky donations that are so necessary to run for office.

This said, might one not wonder why, during October 2013, when the Butler County Commissioners are approving the budgets for the various departments of county government by Commissioner. Cindy Carpenter held a political fund-raiser on October 17th and from the guest list shown on the enclosed picture, the objective is easy to determine.  Each Monday from October 7th, through the 21st, the commissioners held public hearings to review and approve the budgets of the various county departments.  See how it works; donate money to Carpenter’s campaign and hope that the doors of government are opened to the financial donors.  Businessmen after all don’t provide contributions out of the goodness of their heart, but as an investment.  Under a political system of crony capitalism, they really have no choice, if they want to be in business, or stay in business; they have to pay to play ball.

Commissioner Carpenter was Clerk of Courts prior to becoming a Butler County commissioner.  Between 2006 and 2008 she raised a total of $5,215 from various county employees.  The Clerk of Court’s office employed 67 individuals and received contributions from 81 county employees, elected county officials, and the family members of county employees.  These contributions ran from $5 to $1,000 and were even given by Sheriff Jones.

In 2010, the year that Commissioner Carpenter ran for the office of county commissioner, she raised $12,535 from 79 county employees, elected county officials, and the family members of county employees.  But the size of the donations ranged from $10 to $5,785, the latter again being from the Sheriff.    County Prosecutors donated $550.  The County Engineer donated $250. The Treasurer donated $200.  The Auditor donated $120, but strangely, the Recorder donated nothing.

Now, let us look at the list of people on the 2013 fund-raiser.  We again have Sheriff Jones.  Suddenly, we have the Recorder, Danny Crank, appearing on the list of the “host committee,” which translates as big donors.

The Sheriff’s interests are obvious.  His budget consumes over half of the general fund so it’s easy to see why Jones would be interested in assuring the goodwill of a commissioner; someone who will always vote to support his budget?  In 2011 during the Issue 2 campaign Sheriff Jones worked with Bill Cunningham of 700 WLW to defeat the collective bargaining reform bill enacted by John Kasich.  Jones bragged at the time about what a good job he had done securing his funding and managing his budget under the current collective bargaining restrictions.  What didn’t get talked about was that he had managed to stack the commissioner deck in his favor to help secure his funding and avoid the kind of budget shortfalls that most elected officials suffer through, who don’t have politics so firmly rooted in his corner.  Would Jones have the ability to manage his collective bargaining agreements if he didn’t have commissioners like Cindy Carpenter working so closely as an alley——–we’ll never know, because the relationship is common in Butler County politics and is as stable as sunshine in the desert.

As for Mr. Crank, one might suspect that he’s making up for lost time and has figured out that maybe he’d better catch up with the other elected officials in the donation category in order to protect his office from political pressure from the inside pushing him out.  Again, we’ll never know if the influence is corrosive or not because it is ever-present.  Only a complete acceptance of laissez-faire capitalism would end the practice described and the massive amount of money generated through taxes and distributed for the benefit of political contributors in the current crony capitalism system shown in Butler County and its politicians.

Then there is of course from the invite list Ms. Bea Lyons.  Her husband is a judge, whose budget is approved by the commissioners.  Tara D’Epfanio is also a county employee.  Joe Mulligan is a member of the Middletown City Council.  Any possibility that the county might make decisions that would be helpful or harmful to the city of Middletown?  And look at all the other township trustees on the list, why are they there?    Then there are the business men who either own or work for people who own large tracts of land and have major interests that are constantly before the county commissioners: Schwartz, Terry, Todd, and Wunnenberg, three of those four I know personally, and like.  I know why they are there, and so do they.  They aren’t looking for pictures of Cindy Carpenter to put on their desks.  They need to protect their investments from the looting tendencies of government, or advance their businesses using government to eliminate their competition.

The only people on this list who do not have financial interests, whose budgets are not controlled by the commissioners, or who are not family members are the other two commissioners: Dixon and Rogers.

There is no question what’s going on, everyone knows it.  And as I said at the start of this article, I’d rather deal with crony capitalism than socialism, so I like most of the people mentioned.  They are not bastions of rebellious conservatives the way I’d like to see the Republican Party.  They are not bad people, but are all caught in a bad system that began with the introduction of government into the affairs of business, and the destructive tendency of collectivism to introduce itself in both political parties.  I support candidates who refuse collectivism, who are independently wealthy, wise, or otherwise proven, and have no desire to live in a public office.  Those who make politics their business for more than a term or two, or an office or two, climbing their way up the ranks kissing anyone’s ass they can kiss to get them someplace powerful are people I want nothing to do with, and I don’t want my tax money feeding them anything.

John Boehner was built by the same system that supports Cindy Carpenter, and it is also why there is next to no chance of removing him from power.   In Washington Boehner has become very wealthy through the kinds of crony capitalism that is obvious at the Carpenter fundraiser.  Boehner is not the nastiest culprit in Washington, Mitch McConnell is quite a bit worse, but he has had to make enough deals that it compromises his moral authority.  After Boehner has compromised himself with dealings in order to generate money for his “war chest,” he has lost the ability to have firm political convictions which represent the people who elected him, and the republic of America is weaker because of it.  He is in the same position as Cindy Carpenter is in. What if Cindy told Sheriff Jones that she was supporting cuts in his budget that he disagreed with?  Where would the money for her “war chest” go?  The answer is that she would lose her office, and she would lose her influence, and ability to sit down with the real power of Butler County, the capitalists.

The best choice for future candidates is to vote for people who don’t need the money, and don’t want to do a public service job for their entire lives.  If voters continue to vote in favor of career politicians, they will get the same results and attract the kind of people who are terrified of actually performing in a capitalist system and fall in love with a name plate of power which sits on their desk given to them by donors who expect favors for their investment.  Those types of politicians then become the types who believe that society serves them, and that it is the duty of an electorate to provide babysitting services while they scream like tyrants at their subjects with the audacity of a Roman Emperor.  They believe such things because crony capitalism gives them false power by making the strong, the creative, and the intellectually superior beg like dogs at the feet of weaklings who get themselves elected to office by promises they can sell to the highest bidder.
