Clipping the Wings of Children: Public re-education centers open for business in your neighborhood

Even to this very day there has been great fear among conspiracy circles about the re-education camps that would spring up around the United States under United Nations control. Even Glenn Beck fell under the spell of that fear with his novels, Agenda 21. Essentially the strategy would be that local bureaucrats trained directly through local seminars into United Nations priorities passed down through Chamber of Commerce networks would gradually shut down private property taxing it beyond the reach of average homeowners.  People would then be relocated onto government property using Sweden style public house to implement communities managed by the state.  Those who resist would be put into a train and shipped off to re-education centers, similar to the concentration camps of Nazi Germany to either get with the “program” or to be killed.  That is in essence what the conspiracy theorists have been concerned about.  Yet reality is something else, the menace is not so literal.  The bad guys don’t fit so neatly on a silver screen plot line—in a lot of ways, they are friendly faces from neighbors and community leaders who appear to do all the right things. But they are just as sinister nonetheless—perhaps worse because they behave in ways that we are taught not to identify as bad so we don’t see the behavior ahead of time.

For anyone who has ever had a pet bird, such as a parakeet they know that one of the things that must happen is that the wings of the birds need to be clipped so that if they get out of the cage, they won’t be able to fly too far.  This always seemed bad to me.  When I have had parakeets in my family I’d often get the birds out of their cages and let them fly around the house freely keeping a close eye on the door so they wouldn’t fly out and get away.  But I didn’t like clipping their wings—it seems immoral to do such a thing to a bird.   Yet its common practice at a pet store to deliver the birds with their wings clipped so that the buyer doesn’t have to worry about the little birds flying away.  For human beings our wings are of course our minds.  We fly not with wings, but with our thoughts and imaginations.  That is the strength of the human being—the products of their minds.

In truth the re-education centers are already in place.  We fund them with our tax dollars and we spend a lifetime of savings sending our children to their classrooms.  Our public schools and colleges are those re-education centers that the conspiracy theorists have been warning about.  Their primary function in these schools is to reprogram our youth into compliant citizens focused on progressive causes.  In essence, to clip the wings of thought to keep their minds captive towards a cage of social justice as defined by progressives so that once grown, those students will be unable to fly away, but will stay in their cages for safety and reliability of food.  The programming starts young and once the mind accepts the limitations imposed by the public schools and colleges, they will be adults forever after unable to fly away too far from the cages placed around them by progressive institutions.

The warnings have come from people like David Horowitz for many years.  Many others followed—but the majority of the public wished to deny that this re-programming was occurring.  I determined when I was going though the public school system that it was occurring and I resisted vigorously.  If a teacher told me something was blue, I questioned it every single time—or I blew them off as know-nothings and obtained the information on my own.  I was a naturally rebellious kid so that kind of defiance was easy for me.  The angrier the authority figures were toward me, the more encouraged I was to indulge in the activity.  Some people thrive in environments of conflict.  Some people avoid conflict at all costs.  Those unfortunately are the ones most impacted by this re-programming.  In college I was sure that the primary focus of the institution was not in preparing students for a successful life in the style of American capitalism—it was to be in service toward a push for socialism on a mass scale.  The entire focus of the institution seemed to be in teaching Keynesian economics and Marx philosophy.  In essence, if birds were meant to fly and the most moral thing to do with a bird is to let it grow wings to fly as high and far as it could achieve in life, the intention of the education institutions were to clip the wings of those birds so that they would stay in the cages of life built by the politics of the day to make reliable taxpayers and well-managed creatures located in close proximity to the management tasked with feeding them.  By clipping wings, the education institutions could ensure that every bird would be equally handicapped to live under progressive management.  Even as an adult going into the Lakota levy fights of 2010 I still gave some benefit to the doubt cast by Horowitz over the years and had an open mind.  Once I dug into the actual intentions of my local school system and contemplated the illogical diatribes they used to counter my assertions against them, it was clear what their primary focus was.

For me the straw that broke the back was when the school sought ways to cover up the story of a child molester in a third grade class—for the benefit of the institution at the expense of the individual lives of the students.  About a year later after a third levy defeat the school dug in its heels to begin cutting programs to the students in spite of what the voters had declared.  It was obvious that the intention of the school hell or high water was to impose a tax increase on the community and they would withhold service until they obtained what they wanted.  They were playing an extortion game and using the children of my community to pull it off—which made me very, very angry, and changed my thoughts about public education forever.  As I discovered in my research, all public schools were performing in essentially the same fashion, so it’s a nationalized effort coming directly from the Department of Education aligned with the progressive intentions of the national labor unions.  The goal was to clip the wings of students so that they could be held hostage from parents who had placed all their trust into the schools leaving them with no other recourse but to go along to get along.  It’s an abusive relationship designed to pave the way to extortion, which is not what education is supposed to be about.  Parents want to believe that the education their children are getting are giving their children wings to fly with, but what they are really getting are wings clipped so that nobody can ever fly away—imprisoning them to the management desires of progressives within the United Nations.  That is not a conspiracy theory—it’s a cold, hard, fact.

Most people don’t want to believe this hard truth, and I can understand it.  It feels better to look at a parakeet in a cage and believe that we are saving it from the harsh world outside of their cage—that we as the owners are clipping the wings of the little creature for its own good.  But in reality, we are denying it of its God-given right to live freely, and have destroyed its essence in the process.  I am personally a person who supports zoos, aquariums, and theme parks like Sea World.  But the same people who are advocating against Sea World’s use of killer whales are the same who most support progressive public education and the deliberate clipping of the intellectual wings of the youth—because at the heart of the United Nations efforts at all these issues—public education, conservation, civil rights, etc., is an almost god-like worship of nature.  They care more for the earth than in human beings and would like to take humans back into a primitive state living in accordance with early nomadic people—to preserve the earth.  Capitalism is a celebration of mankind’s mind.  Socialism is a focus on the collective not only of human beings, but of all things on earth—and that is the intent of our education systems—to hold the minds of mankind within the cages of progressivism, not to protect them from the world, but to protect the world from humans.

If there is any doubt as to what I am saying—which I have said extensively over the years—watch the videos on this article, then do your own research.  At that time you’ll discover that you and your children are just clipped winged avian nuisances that progressive intuitions want to stuff into a cage so they can worship their deities at the sacrifice of capitalism.    That is what your children are learning in school and the path in life they are being imprisoned to follow.

Rich Hoffman is Running for President: The bad is no longer protected from the good

I made the announcement during my show on the Clarkcast over the weekend that I am running for president of the United States, along with a little single cell creature newly discovered on the Jupiter moon of Europa. Of course I was using a little metaphorical humor to convey how ridiculous it is that there are so many people running for president in 2016, and the number is still growing. I’d say the cause of that effect is that president Obama has been so terrible, and lowered the bar so low, that now everyone believes that they too could be president and gain the ability to rule the world.  That’s what happens when a standard is lowered to a level where common people with an average background gain an ability that should only encompass the best and brightest minds produced within the United States. Also during the June 20th show I covered Matt Clark’s secret mission which he called in to surmise. I then spoke about my history with bullwhips a bit, gave some statistical analysis about the perceived gun violence in the wake of the South Carolina church shooting, and introduced my friend Gery Deer to talk about the upcoming Annie Oakley Western Showcase in Darke County, Ohio. It was an entertaining radio show that can be heard in its entirety below. Following the clip is the rough script of the show to make navigation easier for sections you may want to hear again.

Radio Show WAAM Saturday June , 2015 1 PM WAAM Talk 1600  734-822-1600

5 min — Matt Clark’s secret mission update

8 min – Nice to hear from Roy Hill at Brownells as the extreme left seeks to exploit the Charleston, South Carolina church.  After nine people were killed by Dylann Roof, Obama immediately sought gun control.   The progressive elements of our society were quick to point out statistics from the United Nations indicating that 81,300 nonfatal injuries and 31,672 deaths a year involve guns, which are 308 shootings every day. That sounds truly terrible—yet context is conveniently left vacant. There are approximately 32,000 deaths a year by automobiles and yet nobody has a press conference that declares that we should get rid of cars.  What’s worse is that a whopping 44,000 people die every year from some form of drug overdose and the president supports more of that type of behavior even getting behind efforts to decriminalize it. Isn’t that hypocritical? Of course it is. The drama around the latest shooting rampage has nothing to do with the loss of innocent life—it’s all about building a case against guns so that Americans might be convinced to give them up in favor of some measure of safety. “The Fanned Flames of Racisim: Barack Obama’s role in the South Carolina shooting” at Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom.com

10 min – My history with bullwhips

17 min — Soft break

20 min – 30 years of history with bullwhips including movies, business instruction, and self-defense.  Lead in to my relationship with Gery Deer and the Annie Oakley Western Arts Showcase—home of the bullwhip fastdraw—invented in Ohio.  2015 event on Saturday July 25th.

30 min — Hard break

35 min – Introduction to Gery Deer – Gery Deer is the closest person I’ve ever met to a real life Bronco Billy. He has a background that is white-collar; he’s a writer, a television producer, a computer technician, a college graduate well versed and quite comfortable in professional settings. He’s been on America’s Got Talent and done films as a material supplier for projects like The Rundown. He also runs the only bullwhip studio in America from his home where he teaches the art form to students. He’s also a bit of a geek, and attends sci-fi conventions with boyish enthusiasm. But at his core he’s a western performer and vaudeville musician.   His band the Brothers and Company performs most weekends of the year and is a throwback to yesteryear with their compositions. He’s a very unique person who fits best in a motion picture screen rather than real life.

38 min – Gery conversation on the phone.

47 min — Soft break

50 min – Stories of the Annie Oakley Western Showcase and roots back to the stuntman great Alex Green.  Talk about the 2015 event, who, what, why, when, and where.

58 min — Exit to the top of the hour

imageAfter the show Matt sent me a picture of his view as he listened to the show from his hotel balcony in Hawaii at 7 AM in the morning. He had a nice little beverage there along with his laptop listening to the live broadcast from WAAM in Ann Arbor, Michigan over the Internet which I think is far superior to the old days of raw tower power. You get a much better signal over the Internet that goes much, much further. In this case the reach of WAAM was easily heard halfway around the world in real-time. As a host for Matt’s show I did it from my personal radio studio at my home while Derek at the home studio several hundred miles to the north worked the dials. All three of us worked together to put on the show you just heard from different places separated greatly by distance which I thought was a powerful breakthrough in radio. I know that The Blaze Radio is also doing something similar—and this is opening up a new frontier along the lines of talk radio. No longer are regional limitations necessary in talk radio. That means that those with the best message can now get it out no matter where they live and can reach audiences in every corner of the world without any restriction so long as they have Internet access. That is exactly why the FCC is trying to stick its nose into the Internet. It’s a very powerful tool for the crafty—and government hates it for that reason. Government intended to use the Internet for the opposite reason—as a population control mechanism—and yes porn is a form of population control. But people like Matt and the good people at WAAM are using the Internet to save the republic one broadcast at a time, which is why they put me on for a few weeks to advance the cause. It won’t be the last time I host a show—I’ll just say that.

A few years ago Darryl Parks at WLW radio told me that this was where radio was going, which meant that big stations owned by Clear Channel were in trouble. Back then there was some talk about me doing some weekend work at the Cincinnati juggernaut WLW—but there were some management changes, and reluctance on my part to get involved in that kind of thing. I am a very busy guy, and taking time out of my weekend to go down to the station to broadcast from a studio is just too great of an imposition. When they fired my friend Doc Thompson I had no choice but to pick sides against management and the rest is history. The station has been reducing its employees since then, and Lisa Wells filled the spot that I might have covered on Saturday mornings—hoping that a female might expand the station’s reputation from less of a sausage fest. But it really doesn’t.

Matt Clark asked me to guest host for him months ago and took measures to set me up at home with a complete studio so I could do the show from my home in Liberty Township, Ohio. That meant that I could do all my normal tasks and only block off an hour and a half to do Matt’s show—which was fine with me. I didn’t even have to live in Ann Arbor to be in the studio. Matt helped me set up a room in my house with a remote studio that worked just fine to produce what you just heard. Back in the day, such as at WLW, you’d have to drive to the station which is in a big building in Kenwood, park the car, go up one of the two elevators to the top floor, go through the sales office, walk down a hallway that is at least a 100 yards long, then camp out in the studio to do the show as the producer gave cues from behind the glass. It took me about a half hour to drive to the station, and an additional 15 minutes to park the car just to get to the studio. Then after the show it was the same amount of time to get back home. That in itself is an hour and a half of dead—unproductive time that I don’t have. Then you have the actual radio show which can be anywhere from 1 hour to 3 hours. A good part of the day would be completely consumed.

With the Clarkcast I was able to do my normal activities right up until the moment of the show. I went to my personal home studio, contacted the station producer, and he piped me in and off I went. After the show, I was back to what I was doing immediately. The total time was nothing more than a long telephone conversation and of a very little time impact. And Matt was able to monitor in real-time from the other side of the world. That is the power and reach of modern radio. It was fun, informative, and successful. We’ll definitely do it again. Because the world needs saving—and due to the power of the Internet, we can reach further more often than we’ve ever been able to before—and you can bet dear reader that we will continue to use those tools to preserve our republic well into the future. These tools allow the best and brightest to be heard so in a lot of ways, the bar has been removed so that many vindictive producers who control radio broadcast towers can no longer monopolize the airwaves protecting the bad from the good. In a lot of ways modern radio is seeing the opposite effect of the presidential race. Obama is so bad that he now has many challengers to his legacy because he has made the job look all too easy. Radio too is now decentralized—but now the very good can step around the big stations and get their message to the public without small-minded programmers getting in the way. And thanks to WAAM, we have all taken our first steps into a larger world.

The Fanned Flames of Racisim: Barack Obama’s role in the South Carolina shooting

What an absolute idiot! What a diabolical fool. What a pandering, blundering loser. Barack Obama did it again, he attempted to take a tragedy that happened in a Charleston, South Carolina church and make it all about racism and gun control. Without question the shooter who killed nine needlessly within the church, was a bad person choking with hate. But it could easily be argued that he was a flame stoked by Barack Obama himself for the racial division the current president has brought to America under his terms of progressive lunacy.   Obama said in a speech shortly after the shooting, “frequent incidents of gun violence do not occur in other advanced countries.” What advanced countries? Who does Obama consider advanced? France??????

The insult of the Obama statements about the shooting reside in his behavior. He has went well out of his way to resurrect racism in all its ugly glory, then complains about the tendency of the behavior he instigates in people. He is both the guilty party contributing to violence and the victim all in the same sentences—and as he cries about nine deaths he does nothing about the hundreds and thousands loosing their lives in Iraq and along the Mexican border—and in Chicago, his home town.

The statements from Obama are those of an actor who has been hoping that through his provocation someone like this stupid kid who was the shooter would do something along these lines so that he could advance his progressive agenda in the wake of tragedy. The facts where hardly clear before Obama decidedly made statements against guns within a breath of the incident while other issues—such as the national debt—linger on unanswered for years. It’s not hard to figure out what he’s up to by his actions. Sure he’d deny such an allegation in a court of law, but when people no longer care what the Bible means anymore, the swearing-in court is worthless, and forked tongued words will flow out of their mouths like water over the Niagara.

The progressive elements of our society were quick to point out statistics from the United Nations indicating that 81,300 nonfatal injuries and 31,672 deaths a year involve guns, which are 308 shootings every day. That sounds truly terrible—yet context is conveniently left vacant. There are approximately 32,000 deaths a year by automobiles and yet nobody has a press conference and declares that we should get rid of cars—so what’s at work here? What’s worse is that a whopping 44,000 people die every year from some form of drug overdose and the president supports more of that type of behavior even getting behind efforts to decriminalize it. Isn’t that hypocritical? Of course it is. The drama around the latest shooting rampage has nothing to do with the loss of innocent life—it’s all about building a case against guns so that Americans might be convinced to give them up in favor of some measure of safety.

I don’t care about what the United Nations thinks about anything. And as I look around the world I don’t see a close rival to the United States in regard to culture, economy, diversity, innovation, and intellectual advancements in all fields. Show me any country in the world and they are lacking behind the United States in some fashion or another in their totality. A lie is being spread from the lips of Barack Obama and it should anger people more than it does. Guns are at the heart of American culture and they are there to keep the progressives within organizations like the United Nations out of our productive efforts—which often culminates in private property ownership. The rest of the world has not yet realized that governments cannot be trusted. They have not yet learned that the only way to keep corruption from seeping into their homes from the seething carcasses of their federal buildings is the threat of a gun which keeps even the bad as honest as possible. Without guns, violence escalates, it does not retreat.

When a robber proclaims to put up your hands, and drop your guns, they intend to disarm you so they can have easy access to molest you. Barack Obama is advocating the same, with the United Nations at his back. They don’t care about nine innocent people; they are collectivists, actors, and diabolical activist lawyers hell-bent on social change toward communism from capitalism. They want the gun removed American culture, and they will stoop to no low to achieve it. They will exploit any tragedy—even the ones that they created indirectly by blowing on flames they nurtured along.

The shooter was 21 year-old Dylann Roof who was given a .45 caliber handgun for a birthday present by his father. Fathers often do such things for their sons in America. There is nothing unusual about that. It is a bit strange that young Roof was so incensed by racial hatred that he drove from North Carolina to the 200-year-old historic Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church to shoot four pastors, six total women and three men dead on a site which was burned to the ground in the late 1820s during a slave revolt. It takes some unique motivation to drive such a distance to a very specific site like that to perform a terrible deed. There will likely be additional facts, but the killings were foolish and senselessly painful. Yet there were more shootings in Chicago where guns are “illegal” in just 24 hours from this writing—2 killed and 6 wounded coupled with homicides 11 out of the 12 last days—than in this South Carolina shooting. Obama didn’t have a press conference about those. Can you smell that?

In my book all lives matter. All men, women, and children of all colors and creeds—everyone deserves a chance at life. I apply the same to insects, if a little bug gets stuck in my pool and I get a chance to fish it out to extend its life—I do 100% of the time. I avoid stepping on bugs and worms if I can, and I certainly care about all human life. But guns protect that life from parasites like these big government types who want to disarm us so they can rule us. That’s their end game and believe me, we are far safer with our guns than without them. Bad things do happen from time to time. People like this kid Dylann Roof do get caught up in the drama of the moment and act foolishly due to their own ignorance. But in cases like this, just like on a sports field the original violation often goes unpunished. It’s the reaction that most of the time gets blamed and it can never be disputed that under Obama’s watch racism has escalated by his own design. And it is really stupid to be provoked by him into doing something brainless, and even dumber to give him your gun in the process. Obama doesn’t care about more safety—he wants to integrate America into the rest of the world defenseless and victims to the ignorance within the United Nations. That is the endgame to the tragic shooting in Charleston, South Carolina in June of 2015.

Gery Deer on the Clarkcast: America’s real Bronco Billy

For the second weekend in a row I will be hosting Matt Clark’s radio show on Saturday, June 20th, 2015 at 1 PM. The topic this week will be a discussion of traditional Western Arts and a sneak peek at this year’s Annie Oakley event put on by Gery Deer. At the bottom of the hour I will have Gery on to talk about the classic event in Greenville, Ohio and tell stories from years past. It is a topic that is dear to me. It will also be a different kind of show from the typical AM radio discussion that often circulates around politics. Western Arts to me transcend politics and are part of our American heritage which should be preserved at all cost. Click the video below to see a summation of the 2014 Annie Oakley event.

July often resets my American patriotism each year starting with the Fourth of July and ending with the Annie Oakley event which takes place in Darke County, Ohio on the last weekend of every July—celebrating the old western performer’s birthday in Greenville. I get more out of the event than I put into it—whereas people like Gery make it all happen. I show up and participate in the bullwhip contests, but most of the time I watch the performances of the other participants with genuine glee, because most of them make their livings as actual western art performers.

One of my favorite films from the past is Clint Eastwood’s Bronco Billy where he plays a nearly always broke western performer. I used to watch that movie and admire that character as a pure American creation. A part of me always wanted to live that life—and if I didn’t have children and a wife that I was responsible to, I might have done just such a thing—roaming from town to town performing western arts for a sleepy America in hopes of igniting in just a few youth here and there the wonders of freedom and western expansion from a historical perspective.

Gery Deer is the closest person I’ve ever met to a real life Bronco Billy.

Gery could be a grotesquely rich man if he wanted to be, but he’s too authentic to be. He will steer his material a bit to fit the regulations of the industry as he does for television. He stays away from controversy so that he always has options, but to his core, he’s a very solid family man and an advocate of old-fashioned entertainment. He’s as old school as there is in entertainment. He will bend, but he never breaks and has been that way for the entire decade that I’ve known him.

It is a pleasure to bring people like this to the surface who work in the cracks of life to a broadcast audience like those at WAAM. Even though Gery is clearly a successful person, he is slightly out-of-step with mainstream entertainment, which is decidedly how Clint Eastwood was in Bronco Billy. Both characters possess the tools to be as successful as they want to be, but are stubborn in their adherence to classic American art. This makes Gery always a bit of a “where’s Waldo” type in a busy society. When he is hired for a show, it’s for his skill, his depreciating humor, but more than anything, the classic vaudeville style he still brings to Americana. His best friends are bullwhip artists, sadomasochists who live in the back of their vans 12 months out of the year and eat based on their latest job in every back hole-venue they can come up with. He is close friends with Hollywood stuntmen, sword swallowers, magicians, and knife throwers—and at the same time every television media personality in the Dayton region.

So it will be an interesting hour of radio to an audience who hasn’t had an opportunity to meet people like this in their day-to-day lives. Radio is a perfect venue to place such a unique personality into the public. I have the fortune to know a great number of very unique personalities. It comes from my lifestyle, and I truly wish I had time to nurture them all along. As it stands, I don’t have a lot of time for people in general. I make time when I can, but most people I enjoy most only get time with me a few times a year. And they understand because they are all equally diversified. Matt Clark of course is one of those people and I am glad he is fulfilling the parameters of his secret mission/honeymoon—and that I have the opportunity to cover for his show and bring some color to the AM landscape. For the radio listener there needs to be something unique they are getting from the experience—something they couldn’t get otherwise, and Gery is certainly one of those people.

Be sure to tune this weekend to the live show. Of course I’ll have the actual pod cast up at Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom, but there is nothing like live radio—not knowing what is coming next. I’m going to preface Gery by talking about my history with bullwhips and what the value of that relationship is regarding classic American value. That by itself will be interesting enough. The show will then migrate into my relationship with Gery Deer and the upcoming Annie Oakley event which is unique in America. For the casual listener it will be an entertaining hour. For the seasoned veteran, it will be confirmation and reassurance that you are not the only one out there. There are others.

Not Everyone Wants to be Bruce Jenner: A review and defense of ‘Jurassic World’

Well, that was a treat that was quite unexpected. Jurassic World was absolutely marvelous and a stunning fourth addition to the Jurassic Park movies. I anticipated that it would be good, even that I would enjoy it—but I did not expect it to be such a respectable tribute to the original movie while at the same time standing on its own. There are so many things great about Jurassic World that I could literally write about it for days on end and not touch everything I’d like to say. So for brevity I’ll focus on an aspect of the film that is quite clearly a source of some of the negative reviews from progressive sectors of the media—and that is the clear definition of the alpha male—and how that calculated approach is aimed at appeasing a hungry audience craving such definitions in a generation of watered down bravado. Chris Pratt was actually wonderful in the movie as a very strong alpha male character while Bryce Dallas Howard’s character was extremely comfortable in her femininity by the end of the film. It was an unusual approach that offered no apologies.

When Joss Whedon Tweeted, “I’m too busy wishing this clip wasn’t 70’s era sexist. She’s a stiff, he’s a life force – really? Still?” The Avengers director was referring to a clip showing Howard and Pratt speaking where it was obvious that the male character had the alpha position over the female. Whedon suggests that if a film does not diminish a male character in modern cinema into some sort of beta male—that the presentation of the material presented isn’t relevant in the modern age. The Tweet was designed to put pressure on director Colin Trevorrow, Steven Spielberg and the executives at Universal Studios which thankfully they didn’t listen to. This explains a lot about why I didn’t care much for the second Avengers film, Age of Ultron. Whedon I thought tried too hard to make Scarlet Johansson an alpha type when her character on-screen obviously wanted to submit to the Incredible Hulk. Maybe if she had loosened up a bit the Hulk would have stuck with her. Just a little advice, Joss—it’s free. Joss is riding a franchise built by Stan Lee, so it’s hard to screw it up—but his progressive approach is costing the Avengers money. Sure it’s doing good business, but it could be better. There is much more to be made if the filmmakers would listen to their audience instead of trying to cram progressive diatribes down their throats. Some people want their males to be alpha and their female’s beta. It makes for good sex and happy couples. Not everyone wants to be Bruce Jenner. Thankfully the filmmakers of Jurassic World ignored a lot of the progressive product placement in their film favoring audience satisfaction instead.

One particular scene which I thought was actually quite remarkable was when a tattered Claire was laying on the ground behind the protective foot of the classic T-Rex while it was protecting her from the movie’s villain, the Indominus Rex. It reminded me of a classic King Kong movie with Fey Wray off to the side being protected from a threat. Claire was a very competent career woman who was running the whole park. It wasn’t her fault that the Indominus Rex got loose and ate all her visitors. But over the course of the film she loosed up and embraced her femininely attributes a bit more through her character arch to arrive at the end a willing beta to Chris Pratt’s alpha. That might be out of fashion in Hollywood, but it’s quite what people in the theater audience wanted to see—because it’s what they want in real life.

Chris Pratt’s Owen character several times throughout the film firmly established himself as the alpha character even explaining to Claire’s nephews his relationship to the raptors. They obeyed him because he was the dominate male even to the point where he could ride a motorcycle through a rain forest with the raptors hunting with him. The nephews seeing this tell Claire, “you’re boyfriend is a badass.” There was a very obvious embrace of Pratt being the alpha during the entire film and it was Claire’s task to realize that she was a beta in an alpha disguise and to realize that through the movie’s tribulations. And there is nothing wrong with that. If audiences didn’t like that type of thing, they wouldn’t go see the movie and have such wonderful memories of the previous films.

What makes the Jurassic Park movies work is the primal understanding of animal behavior. Humans are in fact animals and have raw needs similar to any dog, cat or gold-fish. The Daily Beast recognized this trait in its review of Jurassic World calling the movie a “sexist mess” because the theme of the story is “about a woman’s ‘evolution’ from an icy-cold, selfish corporate shill into a considerate wife and mother.” That assessment is true, Chris Pratt’s Owen Grady as a swashbuckling, macho, ex-military velociraptor trainer helps her find that realization, but it is her character arch to find it—which she does. At the end of the movie there was applause from a packed theater—some even stood and clapped. Obliviously mainstream America stands apart from Joss Whedon and reviews like The Daily Beast—Whedon even deleted his Twitter account and backtracked a bit on his comments. If he wants his Avengers films to hold up into the future—he better take some notes because 50 to 60 years from now Jurassic World will still be a beloved movie whereas the Avengers risk being viewed as dated and out of touch with the human experience. Feminism in the way that progressives present it is not appealing to the masses—only the levy supporters and Santa Monica neurotics sipping lattés over cold cuts sending text messages to the person sitting next to them.

For me the best part of the movie was the ending. I loved the first movie and thought that there was no way to ever recapture that raw, primal—yet heroic ending—but Colin Trevorrow absolutely nailed it. Tears were streaming down the faces of the people sitting around me and it was quite spectacular and deeply satisfying—especially for fans of the original movie. I’m not going to spoil it for those who have not yet seen it. But I will say this—read my article about the T-Rex Café in Orlando and you’ll understand why it’s such a wonderful ending. CLICK HERE to review. I hope because of Jurassic World that there is a T-Rex Café in every North American city. I would eat in it once a week if there was one in Cincinnati.   That name had great meaning to me before Jurassic World. After the film it has even more.

I love dinosaurs, I love paleontology. I love The Dinosaur Store in Cocoa Beach, Florida, the T-Rex Café in Orlando and Jack Horner in Montana—along with the great work that he does every day in the world of DNA sequencing. There is optimism in science that is unlike anything the human race has ever endeavored to venture in to. Jurassic World is in love with science, human potential, and the dangers of raw primal urges that get out of control. My great fear in going into Jurassic World was that Colin Trevorrow would miss the mark and taint the great franchise that Jurassic Park is. I was afraid that he’d put a dagger into it to the extent that Universal Studios in Florida might actually shut down my favorite part of their great park due to age and irrelevancy. But what I found was a film that breathed new life into the classic dinosaur movie and invented characters that were actually likeable—and mainstream. In a time where the media is telling us that Bruce Jenner is normal and that even the Hulk will walk away from an overly masculine woman in the Black Widow—Jurassic World doesn’t try to cram feminism down our throats behind the thrills of an action film. Instead it aims to give the audience what they paid for and ignite in millions of little kids a love of science and the ancient past in the form of heroic dinosaurs.

Born Sane in a Crazy World: The bad guys are in charge

As a reminder, I will be hosting in place of Matt Clark on Saturday June 13th and 20th at 1 PM for the WAAM broadcast. The topic will be guns and Second Amendment issues as they are related to the world we are currently living in. I’ve told the story here before about how I came to the decision to finally purchase my .500 Magnum Smith & Wesson. I will tell a bit of that story on the air for the show to share it with a different audience because it was after my last visit with Matt Clark during his show when I decided to finally make the purchase.

The times don’t add up to a peaceful existence moving through the upcoming years. Kids have had their minds destroyed by public education; bad guys are running everything—especially in relation to the Hillary Clinton email deletions.. When a government produces people like Hillary Clinton and the IRS insurgent Lois Lerner—and their behavior his justified through the media—bad times are ahead for us all. There will always be those who will go along to get along, but for those who insist on justice and righteousness—they will be the future targets of the very bad—and the good must prepare for the attempts of the bad with honest assessment.

For years I have relied on my skills with melee weapons to protect my family, and it has been enough. It still might be for a while, but I can see a time very soon where something like the .500 Magnum will be needed. There is no trust in the federal government—they have lost it through their actions. They have proven that they are not only incompetent, but that they will lie, and steal to achieve what it is they are looking for. Case in point, just the other day there was a bomb scare at the White House only involving the press room. The reporters there were removed and had their cameras tampered with while they were gone. The President was just down the hall, yet he stayed in place—mysteriously. Something very fishy about the whole thing is amiss which further sows the seeds of distrust not only in the Obama administration, but the entire mechanism of government.

Police are being neutered locally in favor of a push for federal control of law enforcement which is a strategic ploy at centralization. It’s obvious that groups and ethnicities are taking priority over individual rights—which is the point of the strategy centered on collectivism and sacrifice to it. After watching Ferguson and Baltimore where city governments actually endorsed violence and the destruction of private property, there is no hope that any government management will look out for what’s best in defending my private property in the future.

Many times I have covered events in my own community where the GOP has moved in a progressive direction leaving people like me standing behind to hold the conservative values that were always supposed to be a part of that party. A small civil war has erupted between the establishment types and the traditionalists and our own local sheriff counts himself among the establishment. Can I trust him to protect my private property in a crises—heck no. So I’ll have to do it myself.

Even further back I have covered the NDAA act which gives government the open ability to arrest on a whim those deemed as insurgents. On the surface it sounds like a good idea so long as good people are running the government. But good people aren’t—its people like Hillary, Barack, and Dennis Hastart who are all involved in illegal activity in some form or another. But because they are members of government, they seek to make their illegal activity legal within the halls of power which works against a person like me who tends to be a whistle-blower to that kind of thing.

Then there is the push for illegal drugs to become mainstream, and to make bad behavior justified by destroying religion and therefore the judgment of peers from a community church that used to set standards in accordance to a Biblical framework. Cross dressers are considered heroes while straight-laced traditionalists are villains—the world is on fire and I’m on the wrong end of the trend. It is grotesquely obvious that I and a handful of others were born sane in a crazy world. I’m not going to accept that sex should be an open group experience and that the goal of life should be to get “stoned.” I’m not going to surrender the raising of children in my family to the State, and I’m not going to go along to get along. So what option will there be when they come to enforce their “mass” integration of those who are “with them” and root out those “against them?”

That’s where the .500 Magnum comes into play for self-defense. These days the thugs show up wearing armor, such as they did against Pam Geller in Texas where she hosted an Allah drawing contest. I know both Pam and the guy who won the contest. They know they are on kill lists and the government won’t do much to protect them from terrorist insurgents. The federal government is making it easy for terrorists to migrate right over the Mexican border and has been doing so for years. The United States is bulging with wanna’ be terrorists looking to make their mark. The local police can’t do much to stop such an attempt. The TSA has proven completely ineffective, and the Department of Homeland Security offers nothing but excuses and demands for a larger budget. Who in their right mind would trust their lives to these diabolical idiots? Not me.

Even when the facts are clear, they aren’t so clear such as in the James Holmes case of the Aurora movie theater shooting. The murders occurred several years ago and are now just going to trial. Jurors have been tossed off the case and defense attorneys are screaming for a mistrial. Nobody is responsible for bad behavior any longer, everyone is insane when they’re guilty and the law can no longer reach behind the veil of dishonestly, because America has lost its ability to judge the good from the bad. Not to mention that there looks to have been a second shooter in the Aurora case that nobody is talking about. Holmes didn’t just go from a star college student to a radicalized killer on his own. There is always a little help even when considering the case of the Harrison terrorist suspect Christopher Lee. There is often a pipeline of negative information that shapes these young minds which go free as the guilty face the crimes after they are finally caught.

We are living in a world mismanaged and functionally insane—and for people like me who refuse to follow the idiots in front of me, there has to be some defense—and that’s why there is a Second Amendment. If things get too far out of hand, as they are currently, individuals have to have the ability to defend their private property. That is why private citizens need AR-15s and why they need .500 Magnums. You don’t want to go against a gang of maniacal thugs with a .22 rifle barely qualified to shoot rabbits. You need something with real stopping power in a world where Kevlar armor can be purchased on the ISIS black market or a Mexican drug cartel closet. With a .500 Magnum you don’t have to worry about placing a shot between the armor joints. You can just fire away at the meat of a target and let the velocity do its work.

But not having some kind of plan is not an option. Hoping that everything will just turn out alright is not responsible. Protecting our families and the efforts of our production is the most important thing we can do, and to ensure that we can do that, we need the Second Amendment, and should use it to the fullest extent. That means buying .500 Magnums, military style weapons, and anything else deemed necessary to contend with the thugs and bad guys of our day. The bad guys are those who continue to lie, cheat and steal from others to advance their own life. Hillary Clinton certainly falls in that category, but she’s not alone. When people like that are in charge of our government, we need the Second Amendment more than ever. It is the last line of defense against a tyrannical government. That is what we are dealing with, and why it will be the topic of the upcoming radio show on WAAM.

The Trap Behind the Deal: Danielle Richardson standing against a tide of corruption

Danielle Richardson has been leading the way to save the Old Union School within the Lakota school district. She led a group of protestors to the school board meeting on Monday June 8, 2015 to stop the giveaway the district is attempting to create with a Boys and Girls Club offering free babysitting service to area tax payers. The deal is essentially a levy building consensus exercise designed to pull together the business community with the progressive aims of the government school. What is being destroyed in the process is a bit of history within West Chester, Ohio and the efforts of the tax payers at maintaining sanity from the runaway costs of the Lakota school system—for which they are paving the way for yet another tax increase.

Karen Mantia the superintendent of Lakota is up for a contract renewal, which should be allowed to expire and part ways because of her ineffectiveness from a community perspective. Under her watch taxes have gone up and so have her labor costs not resulting in an increase in services offered to the community. She is everything that people like me said she would be at the very beginning. Lakota during the levy fights have since yielded to the labor union strategy of pay for play programs and reduced programs putting as a priority their employees over the kids who attend resulting in a failure that is only hidden by the benefits of an affluent district. She has ridden the coat tails of that success and sought wherever possible to utilize progressive consensus building mechanisms like the Community Conversation program which costs $40K per year to do nothing but change people’s minds about increased property taxes. The other strategy utilized by her has been to make alliances with former opponents from No Lakota Levy to quiet them during upcoming levies, which is what the Old Union School giveaway is all about.image

Danielle’s protestors had a hardy presence even though it will fall on deaf ears, because Lakota has no other management option but to ask for more money and make deals to gain public support for tax increases. By giving away the Old Union School to development, the cost of the tax increases for the property owners involved are marginalized and everyone gets to walk away from the deal thinking they did something nice for kids—and everyone sleeps well at night with that belief. But that’s not the end of the story for everyone else not associated with the deal—and that’s the issue of concern.

Through an alliance with the Community Foundation Lakota has one of its largest levy cheerleaders which penetrate the heart of the GOP community within Butler County. In this way Mantia and her consensus builders within the Lakota organization gets the Republican Party to support unionized labor which indirectly works against them politically with the amount of PAC money that is generated through union dues. The Old Union School deal is something more reminiscent of Hillary Clinton’s backroom deals with Uranium One. It pulls local Republicans in on a trap set by her, using children as bait, to attack their financial base indirectly with union fees. It marginalizes their protests in public because they are all in on the deal, and moves them politically to the left neutralizing their future opposition when tax increases are proposed.

Lakota is too far committed to this Old Union School deal to listen to protestors now. Their goal is not to work with the local GOP as Mantia is a former school teacher herself—they are a progressive advocate intent to water down the GOP into a more centralist organization which has shown itself to be the case over the last four years. Mantia’s not alone of course; the woman who hired her was Lynda O’Connor who openly befriended many of the No Lakota Levy people in 2012 to the point where we supported her for re-election. She’s now the president of the school board and has helped pull all these elements together with consensus building of her own.   People who would normally disagree politically play ball because they want a piece of the pie that this Lakota team helped build. In this case the Lakota alliance with the Community Foundation and area developers whom I worked with in the past are the primary players.  I along with a few others exposed this ill begotten alliance when we started our own foundation to compete with the Community Foundation which resulted in a violent backlash toward myself—which has been well documented—much of it led by the same person who is advocating on behalf of this Boys and Girls Club project. The evidence had been emerging for quite some time, so we flushed it out, and not everyone had the courage to stand up to it. In the end, there were a lot of people who quietly showed me their support, but really in the end just like Danielle Richardson is experiencing now—it’s a lonely road that only one or two people at any given time have the guts to expose. Danielle’s protest is more of an exposure of this vile behavior than a hope for change. The silence and slander from Lakota is the confirmation of her validity because it’s the only play they have in the matter. The slander doesn’t always come from direct sources, but in the roundabout ways within party politics.image

But it should never be taken for granted that the overall goal of the Old Union School deal is to weaken the grip of the GOP, gain support for a future tax increase, and offer free babysitting services to already addicted parents who cannot afford to put their children in daycare so both parents can work and pay for the large mortgages it takes to live within Liberty/West Chester Townships. It is far cheaper to pay the taxes for those levy addicts than the yearly daycare costs—and that is at the heart of the entire strategy which pulls all these parties into supporting indirectly radical labor union intentions dedicated to progressive politics—anti GOP strategies. So while the Old Union School demolition and rebuilding of a new Boys and Girls Club might give local developers some much-needed work, the gains are short-term exclusively but the impact to the GOP down the road is gradual erosion of its small government platform.

As much as area Republicans might want to chastise Richardson for being a radical activist and a say-no-to-anything and everything related to progress type, she is more Republican than a whole room full of GOP leaders—and she’s not even a hard-core Republican. She’s a libertarian in almost every way yet her intentions and goals benefit the GOP far more than Todd Hall’s grand unification of the GOP strategy of pushing out all the radicals and pulling in all the business types under the same tent. Because when it comes to levy time, those who took the deal won’t be able to stand against the tax increase, and Lakota knows that. That’s the main objective of the Old Union School demolition and property giveaway. It’s a flytrap for insurgents who have too high a profile to stand honestly against the corruption as Danielle Richardson is. And for her, it’s going to be a lonely road.

If you want to join her you can at the following link:

http://www.saveoldunionschool.com/

As for fans of Overmanwarrior’s Wisdom who are distraught that No Lakota Levy members are involved in the Old Union School deal, do not fret. The resistance to the future tax increases is alive and well, and more vibrant than it was even four years ago when No Lakota Levy was in its prime. Things evolve and new faces emerge as other faces fade off under the pressure and make deals. People like Danielle Richardson will be a part of those future fights which of course begins with events like this one centering on the Old Union School. I wonder what Lakota will do when they can’t answer the questions that Danielle brings up……………..they certainly can’t call her a sexist. Ummmmmm, that might be a difficult problem for them to overcome. What’s the old term……………………….”what comes around……………goes……………..”

“Winds of Change”: Denise Hastert and snuff parties of the Illuminati

So, now we know that Denise Hastert didn’t just have one male lover in his life—he had at least two and he cared about that second one enough to attend his funeral when he died of AIDS. Statistically when a young impressionable male is abused by a more dominant father figure, the impact of that sexual encounter essentially ruins any hope that the young male could hope to have with a future wife and children. The traditional head of household role becomes out of reach for such males leaving them as a basic survival mechanism the alternative lifestyles of homosexual behavior. This dirty little secret is at the heart of why there is a spread of homosexual lifestyle acceptance emerging at a rapid pace. There are a lot of abused children emerging into our world with nowhere else to go, intellectually. When the static patterns of normal childhood thought are imposed by a corrupt older person, whether it’s a trusted older male like Denise Hastert was to these young boys as a wrestling coach and Explorer Post leader—or some other source, the hope of a normal life is robbed from these young people for life, and the legislative debate that emerges from Capital Hill is an attempt to erase the evidence by normalizing the behavior.

Hastert was a rich and powerful person, the FBI knew of his conduct—he’s had a wife during this entire span of his life—yet the public knew nothing of the behavior. It was kept from the public eye and was used by more powerful forces to control Hastert for the rest of his life—or at least until the present. As a compromised person Hastert wasn’t in a position to take a stand on anything and had to do as he was told, or face the music of his past misdeeds—which eventually came out anyway. The entire escapade shows just a bit of what is under the surface of evil that is currently plaguing our entire world. A bit deeper than that is the revelations from the bass player of the old rock group the Scorpions inauspiciously uttered from behind the veil by Ralph Rieckermann.

Rieckermann reveled way back in 2012 in the video above to a TMZ cameraman that he had attended a snuff party in Germany where wealthy attendees would watch people actually get killed. The story has surfaced now three years later into the conspiracy outlets, which of course is about three to five years ahead of the Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh types—who are then about two years ahead of the mainstream outlets. Those mainstream outlets are slow to the story because it is the head of those companies who tend to attend some of these controversial “Illuminati” events openly trading sins in exchange for power with the belief that ancient pagan “gods” will assist them into finding success.

I have discussed a bit about these ancient pagan rituals and where they reside in space and time before. One of my favorite books Finnegans Wake by James Joyce is entirely dedicated to this pre-Catholic notion of Irish history and the gods from those erased pagan days. The Illuminati had its role in forming America just as it did and continues to shape governments away from regional control into a global consensus—and they seek pre-Christian deities to help them achieve their task utilizing fully dimensions outside of the four we currently live within. I don’t see the Illuminati as an ominous organization of banking cartels and devil worshipers—I see them as just another misguided religion with a not so “illuminated” world outlook rooted in sacrifice—the old evil that perpetually chains mankind to the Vico cycle.

Yet it cannot be ignored that this religious group committed to sacrificing life to these ancient deities with the belief that ultraterrestrials will aid them successfully through life is occurring at a maddening pace. Ultraterrestrials are a term from the reporter John Keel to explain the type of beings who hop in and out of four-dimensional space in mysterious ways manipulating events to suit their needs. He covered the evidence of these beings in the very good book which was made into a movie called The Mothman Prophesies.

The attempt through science to map these creatures through space and time is called cryptozoology and is an emerging field of endeavor. It is presently as a science where archaeology was at the turn of the Twentieth Century—largely filled with grave robbers and speculation but is quickly taking root in the orthodox as evidence emerges.   But in such studies it is impossible not to run into the underbellies of our present civilization where snuff parties like Rieckermann discussed are a normal activity.

Each year just in the United States approximately 800,000 juveniles are reported missing, half are runaways. The other half stolen by family members in court disputes and related activity. Only about 100 are kidnappings by strangers. Most are between the ages of 12 to 17 and are 80% white. So around 400,000 runaways each and every year leave home often driven to rebellion away from their families by the same music industry that Rieckermann made his living with—and become drug addicts, prostitutes, and sometimes far worse. It is these kids between the cracks of society who end up at snuff parties. A mild version of these types of parties was the subject of the film Eyes Wide Shut.

The belief that through sacrifice—which virtually all religions behold to some extent—that aid will be provided to those making the offerings is an ancient belief, and our modern political class and entertainment culture certainly believes in that theory wholeheartedly. Experience dictates that ultraterrestrials do what they want for their own reasons and can manipulate the minds of human beings to suit their fancy—nearly unimpeded. They are a class of insurrectionists in and of themselves. The Illuminati believes they can control these beings with violence, seduction and other forms of ego massaging, but ultimately the ultraterrestrials have their own agenda and no religion on earth has their finger on those strategic objectives. Illuminati members may find some level of career advancement for massaging the ego of such ultraterrestrials—but they do not control them—that is for sure.

It should not therefore be a surprise that the music and film industry is obsessed with the Illuminati—or that the political class is equally enchanted. Those industries are currently populated by altruists and infantile religious fanatics hiding their poor conduct in life from themselves through a justification of sacrifice and will seek redemption anyway they can. In the case of Denise Hastert while he may have shown the world a love of Christ and regular family behavior with his wife and children he had a dark underbelly that represented the core of his being—a love of young boys whom he could control and manipulate to suit his needs. For such a person where is there for him to go where justification for his behavior could be explained in a way that would prevent him from committing suicide over his vile evil? Now you know dear reader why celebrities and the powerful are attracted to the Illuminati message—why they attend “snuff parties” and why they attend the pagan rituals at the Bohemian Grove. It is because of the old world belief in sacrifice to supernatural aid, because they lack the courage to face life and all its elements on their own merit. Because most of them are compromised people, they seek to retain that old world mystic so that they can remain within the world dominate among their kind.

Like the budding homosexual who often not by choice had a trusted mentor abuse them early in life, the Illuminati members seek those of their own kind to protect the Vico cycle so that they may stay in charge of it. Once one life is sacrificed to an evil perversion like minds find each other for the purpose of preserving their sanity from the guilt they are running from. The conspiracies which follow are the byproducts of that. The Denise Hastert story is interesting because it shows how well the government can keep a secret even at the highest levels. Further proof of what’s going on in the world behind the veil is revealed by former rock and roll icons like Rieckermann. The saddest part of the entire ordeal is that millions of lives are sacrificed in such escapades over the course of the decades by the very few so they can gain an advantage over the rest of society. That same Illuminati sent communism into Russia to destroy its economy and protect Europe. Hitler was a product of the Illuminati and the pagan cults that wanted to rise to power behind his madness. And the Illuminati was part of the American Revolution in destroying the grip that European kings had on a new world—to allow a new world order to emerge under the pagan philosophy of cult driven diatribes who still resent in Europe the spread of Catholicism. That same Illuminati still finds its strategies in our movies, and music framed within the context of snuff parties and Bohemian rapture. The world is not necessarily what we see, it’s what we don’t see that has the most influence—and the reason we don’t see it is because it has been deliberately hidden from us. Just like Denise Hastert was hidden from us all along—for nearly two decades. It just goes to show that if the problems of the world really are to be dealt with—we have to manage the unseen more than the seen—because it is there that the root cause analysis points most vivaciously. If evil in the world is to be stopped in its tracks, you have to look where evil is hiding—in this case—right in plain sight.

Now listen to the old Scorpions song “Winds of Change” and see if you don’t hear it differently…………………………………knowing what you do now.  The videos above will provide more information as will the links contained within the text.

Helping Chief Blackwell: Cincinnati needs more guns–not less

Gun grabbers and pacifists are licking their lips with all the recent violence in Cincinnati involving guns. As Channel 9 released the report below and the Cincinnati Enquirer pandered to the same class of the panic driven drivel, the root cause of the gun violence was ignored in favor of a progressive objective seeking to demonize personal firearms. Here is how Channel 9 presented the case for which the burden fell on Chief Blackwell.

Cincinnatians have been barraged with the reports of 168 shootings so far this year. They include the recent gun battle on I-75, gunfire ringing out on our streets in broad daylight, teen-agers getting shot and teen-agers doing the shooting. There’s one thing all these incidents have in common: a gun.

That’s what I wanted to talk about with Chief Jeffrey Blackwell when I sat down with him Friday. Guns have been on his mind too.

He produced a daily report showing shootings are up 23 percent this year compared to the same period last year. Homicides are down, but he agreed that the recent violence has created an atmosphere of unease.

His short-term response to the outbreak of gun violence is to create a new “gun-reduction program,” a group of 13 officers who will focus on the people police know of who are responsible for much of it.

http://www.cincinnati.com/story/news/2015/06/03/sentinels-support-chief/28408041/

http://www.wcpo.com/web/wcpo/news/crime/cincinnati-police-department-90-day-plan-includes-moving-more-officers-to-the-streets

So I’m going to do Chief Blackwell a favor, and explain to him the cause and how to remedy the problem that the city manager of Cincinnati has placed upon his shoulders. First of all the reason for the increase in gun violence is that the news reports from Baltimore and Ferguson have shown the criminal minded how to avoid prosecution and harassment by the police. Now that they’ve seen how mobs of people can protest the police and how the police have been neutered, particularly in places like New York City, and Chicago—respect for the law is at an all time low. Poor quality politicians and the media have fanned the flames of violence provoking it in many cases in inner cities where government dependents reside in a high concentration. The net result is an increase in the statistical violence involving guns in Cincinnati, and just about everywhere else where large concentrations of public housing, and welfare dominate the per capita population.

Yet in areas where there is a high concentration of gun ownership, like Mason and West Chester, Ohio—there is almost no gun violence per capita or by volume of gun ownership. That is because the quality of people in those areas are different—there are less thugs per capita in those areas. So a simple gun reduction program won’t work, because guns have been invented and bad guys will find them just as they do illegal drugs.   Reducing gun ownership within the city of Cincinnati will only guarantee more violence, not less—because when those who behave with an animalistic desire to suppress others drives criminal behavior against the innocent—the lack of guns allows for an unbalanced defense against thugs. Thugs are those who wish to impart violence against others to fulfill their own personal objectives. The victims may not desire to take part in that desire but if they don’t have a gun to equalize the ill intent, the thug will have the advantage 100% of the time without any resistance.

Progressives and other community advocates who lazily wish that guns had never been invented and fantasize that more government workers could manage all the elements of society into peace if only there were no more guns are the cause of the violence and the delay of the solution. They are the cause of the increased violence coming and going then point at the guns as the villains. Well, they have lost their seat at the table. There is enough history and facts now to dispute their fear based diatribes. Fewer guns increase violence, more guns reduce it. It’s a very simple equation.

If the violence within Cincinnati were to truly be reduced, then more homes with more guns should have them. There may be a slight spike at the beginning of such a proposal where the guns are used to dispel the efforts of a bad guy but once word hit the streets, the cockroaches would return to their hiding and keep their crimes from the eyes of humanity—for the most part. Give some shotguns to the old men who sit on their porches in Avondale talking about the old days—and let them eliminate the violence on their streets, the car break-ins, the drug deals, the gang gatherings—and it will quickly be shown how effect a pro gun program in the hands of private citizens truly is.

Take those same old men in Avondale sitting on their porches with shotguns painted against the reality of our day and they would be arrested for poor handling of a firearm and disturbing the peace while the members of a gang stand on a street corner down the road and laugh. The old men are an easy arrest for the police and keeps their captains off their backs for lack of arrests—but the kids down the road are difficult. There are legal entanglements and revenge killings—and they are just too much trouble. No cop with a family wants a cartel killer to show up on their doorstep, so they leave the kids alone. The gang is just too much trouble to deal with. Cops will show up to take a report after violence has occurred, but they just can’t do anything until a crime is committed making them virtually powerless to stop anything before a thug committees a violent act.

So what is Chief Blackwell supposed to say to a bunch of panicky politicians wanting a quick fix to a problem they created with progressive policies?   Tell them the truth, or tell them what they want to hear—that he’ll focus on getting rid of guns off the streets. To liberal progressives, that is music to their ears, so they might be appeased—for a while, but it won’t solve the problem. Violence will continue because those in charge have been deemed weak by the thugs, and that will only breed more thugs—not less. Before crime can really be solved management must admit that some of their citizens are thugs, and that they seek to correct that behavior with a basic respect for humanity. Those failing to adhere to that basic respect must be dealt with in the only way they understand—with force. Then and only then will violent trends decrease, and assumptions toward civility be cultivated successfully.

West Chester Will Fight Anything: What makes a good community successful

I’ve discussed this Community Foundation deal set to take place at the location of the old Lakota Union school on Cincinnati Dayton road before. The proposal is to build a Boys & Girls Club at the site offering all day kindergarten for Lakota students—which is a fancy way of saying that it’s a full-time babysitting service funded by the taxpayers for residents of the Lakota schools district. In spite of the $40,000 that Lakota spends each year on the change agent Jeffery Stec to build public support for the union fees the public education employees extract from the tax payers each year, the school board has partnered up with the socialite Patti Alderson and former No Lakota Levy advocates to build a consensus within the community toward future school levies. The next levy is due to take place around 2017. With all the money spent, it just wasn’t enough to hire a progressive cheerleader from Cincinnati—other deals had to be made to keep public opinion in favor of the school system to over 50%. It’s a bit of a shell game going on behind the Boys & Girls Club at the proposed location. Everyone gets something out of the deal, even the tax payers who want to use the free babysitting service—except for a majority of the tax payers who end up paying for the whole enterprise. For them they are supposed to buy into the seemingly good intentions of the Boys & Girls Club mission to replace the parenting of young people with a progressive leaning education centered on altruism.

What is interesting is not that bandits, thieves and social parasites behind the issue, it’s the opinion of some who advocate on their behalf which I couldn’t help but notice in the comments section of the latest Journal News article on the matter, seen below. I’m certainly not one who demonizes builders and developers. I see those occupations as a creative enterprise. I am a fan of the Liberty Way developments and I love the Union Center Blvd developments. But I like to see a resistance that forces those developers to be either better in their presentations, or cleverer in what ends up finally built. Resistance is the key to good management. Those who do resist are not bad people or impediments to progress. Politicians have a tendency to lay down to developers because it is those type of businessmen who tend to contribute to political campaigns hoping that at some time in the future government will get out of their way to allow them to make some money. That leaves the private citizen as the natural counterbalance between these two forces that are needed to maintain good government. It is because of the many private citizens in and around West Chester that there are so many good things happening in one of the most affluent areas of Ohio. Yet the below comment was left on the mentioned article and illustrates a sad belief to the contrary.

You have to love West Chester. They will fight anything. Over the years, the community has fought a community Rec Center, a 1,000,000+ sf upscale Steiner development on Cin-Day (Yes, the same one building in Liberty), a YMCA, the schools, a new Kroger, a Christian school, sidewalks, bike paths and a Boys/Girls Club. Sounds like a great place to live.

In the article Danielle Richardson and the West Chester-Union Twp. Historical Society, essentially propose to the Lakota school district to buy the old school for the cost of $1—to clear it off their books and turn it over to someone else to manage. The Historical Society has an interest in the century old school building to maintain the image of Old West Chester as a hub of tradition to remember the roots of what made the area great to begin with. If everything that is built is new, then the roots will be lost forever of what attracted people to West Chester in the first place. If there is nobody challenging all these projects, such as the commenter above, everything that makes West Chester great would be lost forever—and changed into something else. For Lakota, which is a very progressive government organization—that is their intended goal on a social level—to change the behavior of the community at large, so their actions must be met with resistance. That’s why they hired Jeff Stec at a rather expensive cost to “change” the minds of the public toward support of a tax payer funded institution. New members of West Chester by their own destructive predilections want to change things into what they left behind. If everything is new and there is no sense of history, then they can feel equal to the people who have lived in West Chester for years. It’s a natural weakness that comes from the type of people who transfer to various locations around the nation. They are rootless by nature, so often have a tinge of jealousy toward those who do have a sense of belonging to a community or family.

An example of this is in Danielle Richardson herself, she is the person at the center of the “chicken” controversy which continues to boil in front of West Chester Trustees. Farms and chickens are part of West Chester’s history and some traditional value toward that memory needs to be made to accommodate that vintage sentiment. New money moved into West Chester and wants to think that the entire community is the Weatherington Country Club. It makes for some good back slapping over drinks to brag about pushing all the hillbillies out of West Chester with all their furry creatures. But, in doing so they destroy the nature of their very investments—which makes no sense, because they improperly value the wrong attributes of a society. West Chester attracted all the great investment it has now, chickens, goats, cows and all—and the old Union school is part of that—and they have value. If the image is allowed to change, then West Chester will become just another community that rises to greatness, and then falls once change agents transform the area into something that future generations despise. Because in thirty years when the new Boys & Girls Club building is old, and all the people who constructed it are dead and gone—nobody will want to preserve all the cheap construction that looks new in 2015, but will look out-dated in 2030. And where will that leave West Chester?

When Randy Oppenheimer from Lakota announced in April 2014 that a joint agreement between the district and the club to operate an all-day kindergarten program on the site was evolving and they were seeking public input—Lakota put Jeff Stec on the case in the form of three public Community Conversations that were held in June to garner public input. Pro levy school types showed up to listen to the paid change agent, but anti-tax people generally stayed home knowing what Stec was. His job was not to garner input—it was to change minds. It’s the old Saul Alinsky Delphi Technique trick talked about over the years—only dressed up with some new terminology. Lakota does not want to make a deal to preserve a piece of their history, they need to make a deal that pulls levy supporters and anti-levy supporters together, so they are using the Boys & Girls Club for that reason. Lakota to do the right thing should do as Randy suggested, and that is auction off the property. If the people who want to build the Boys & Girls Club are really interested in developing the property, they should pay for it without an alliance with government assistance to get premium property dirt cheap—and see what the market value the project will garner in the free market. If that happened, minds would change rapidly into a different direction. It would be my guess that the Historical Society would have more value for the property than the proposed Boys & Girls Club, unless Patti wants to cover the costs herself—which she could do. That would be the best way to proceed.

But to the people who think like the commenter in the Journal News article, they are missing many elements to the story. What makes West Chester great is not rubber stamping all the side-walk proposals, the YMCAs, Libraries, and Krogers, its in fighting for a standard of living that makes our community a—brace yourself—“community.” A community is more than a bunch of buildings and socialites who want to be remembered for their charity, or a school that wants to throw money at their out of control labor union, it’s about people, their history, their chickens and the connection to the past that gives a place a sense of grounding—even to those who move from far away seeking something of substance to fill their lives with meaning. West Chester is good because it has a vigilant population that will fight for its history mixed with a nice conservative base of finance that will make new things for people to enjoy. It takes resistance to offer proper management and an honest government that can make the best decisions possible. And in West Chester there are plenty of those types—and we are lucky to have them.
