Teri Benning Speaks the Truth about Lakota: A former school board member lets go of a hard reality

Very few things make me emotional; however the words of Teri Benning at the end of a recent West Chester Buzz article nearly brought tears to my eyes.  It is not often that truth is spoken, let alone written in public these days, yet Teri uttered such a truth about the upcoming Lakota Levy and I felt pride swelling upon hearing the delectable words of a Lakota tax payer.

“Instead of making plans on how to spend the money that has not been approved yet and adding back things to blow the money on if approved, why don’t they make some long-range plans and keep it for a rainy day? They’re worse than a 10-year-old with $20 burning a hole in his pocket!”

Aaaaaaaaahhhh.  I liked that so much I want to read it again…………………………

“Instead of making plans on how to spend the money that has not been approved yet and adding back things to blow the money on if approved, why don’t they make some long-range plans and keep it for a rainy day? They’re worse than a 10-year-old with $20 burning a hole in his pocket!”

Isn’t that just wonderful?  Doesn’t that just make fantastic sense?  Of course it does.  Yet that is precisely the imagery I think of when I think of Lakota, that they are like 10-year-old kids with money in their pocket and a burning desire to spend it somewhere on something as fast as they can.  They lack any real discipline, logical understanding, or desire to do what is right for the community and instead regulate their thinking to the same old failed education policies of the past—policies that do not work, are not helping children become the best in the world intellectually, and is an obvious money pit.

It’s no secret by now that I have several personal friends who are either former school board members of public education and have thrown their hands up in frustration to now fight against it, or are current school board members who want to reform the system from the inside out.  One of my very dear friends is a former school board member from Lakota and has a wonderful insight into what goes on behind the scenes legally, and illegally, and could tell stories for the rest of all our lifetimes about what she has seen, heard, and read from Lakota—even school board members still active.  Her stories are intense, and to the untrained ears may appear radical, and over the edge.  But the passion of her statements is different from the bold logic of people similar to Teri Getz Benning.  My friend has been too close to the situation for too long and knows clearly what has been wrong in public education and just how sinister the situation has been for a very long time.  Her anger and passion are driven from insider knowledge that should send chills up the spine of every tax payer in the country.  Recently she left me this comment about another Lakota article I had written about.  CLICK HERE TO REVIEW.

The public school system is in the extortion and indoctrination business. In the case of Lakota, about 67% of the taxpayers do not have children attending the schools. Yet the teacher’s union and the parents do expect senior citizens and working people to support the system to the degree of extravagance that they desire. They must have new schools, new equipment, new programs, new sports programs, new buses etc. The older schools are just not good enough.

In spite of having everything new, data seems to prove that each generation of students has not been taught the basic skills to survive. Even IQ’s have dropped drastically from those of the people during the time of the founding of this nation.

No one should doubt that any new money given to any school district will be poured into salaries and benefits. That is the clear reason why the teachers, administrators and PTA (an arm of the NEA/AFT) work so hard to shame voters into voting to tax their neighbors even more.

It is high time to put a halt to this racket. Teachers are NOT underpaid. They have the summer and bountiful days off and still make as much as architects and lawyers. STOP them now!

The only defense Lakota, or any public school has against the comments of this former school board member is to call her crazy, psychotic, or a radical conservative, just as they have attempted to call me names in hopes to deflect the ears of the taxpaying public away from the truth, a truth that was spelled out above.   Public schools are indoctrination centers for the government and they are harming our children, not helping them.  This is an inconvenient truth that many pray is not the case.  Many supporters of public education love the social appeal of sports and other community programs that center around a school, and do not wish to see the ugly truth—but that doesn’t make it go away.  The truth is the truth and cannot be made into a falsehood with wishes from Aladdin’s lamp.   Public education is a racket, and corrosive scheme designed to destroy minds, rip up families, and suck the life blood out of all communities from which they reside.  Public education institutions are the cockroach of the government employment family and they should be treated as foul, vile insects that must be exterminated from our communities.  They lie, cheat, manipulate, and put themselves between parents and children in terribly destructive ways.

But my friend and I have seen too much of this truth to be objective any longer.  I despise those institutions of learning for what they don’t teach, and what they do I find repulsive.  I would like to see an end to them all and have parents take control of their children’s education completely.  That is why I enjoyed the words of Teri Benning so much, because there is no radicalism, no jaded perception present—just an honest opinion rendered from observation with an appropriate metaphor.  It is good to see that such people are out there and that they voice their opinions. At best public education institutions like Lakota are similar to 10-year-old undisciplined children.  They cannot wait to spend money they do not have yet have, and once they do have a little, they are ready to spend it on every silly thing their immature minds can conger up.  It is a relief at this stage of the game to see that new people like Teri are making their opinions known, because for every one of them, there are many dozens who sit fearfully on the fence afraid that the Lakota Levy Zombies will discover them and seek to destroy their social reputations with strong-arm tactics of peer pressure and raw emotion.  But increasingly, the trend is to not fear the Lakota Levy Zombies, but to fight back against them—which is a wonderful trend.  Whether the emotions range from the logic of Teri Benning, or the jaded realism of my former school board friends, the trajectory of emotion is pointing away from traditional public education and more toward a privately funded enterprise that excludes the government indoctrination, and for that I am very, very, happy!

    1. It is good to see other people not sitting on their thoughts. When only a few voices speak out, it gives the illusion that everyone agrees. The reality is that people are just too afraid to speak out…….at least until recently.

  1. I can thank the “zombies of lakota” for dropping my property value so low that I had to sell at a 40% loss…….there are those who will say if the levy was passed the property values would rise….honestly, I feel sorry for anyone moving into that area now–they need to do the math and figure out for every $100,000 of property value, their taxes will be threatened on a constant basis–and for what???? To give everyone a raise???

  2. Thank you Warrior for your truth and wisdom. If people would only open their eyes and ears, they would know that there will never be enough money to satisfy the wants and needs of the union and the government. The union members do feel entitled to your earnings. The government works with the unions or uses them to do their dirty work. In the mob they are called enforcers.

It is important for all to read the annual audits listed at the Ohio Auditor’s web site: http://www.ohioauditor.gov

You can pull up audits for all political entities and see where your tax dollars are being spent. Just remember that the district does pick an auditing firm that they are “familiar” with and so nothing too distressing will be pointed out. The numbers are basically from the district’s books, but those are numbers few ever take the time to check out. Usually the district will publish on their web site their “budget.” This is just a “creative accounting method to push their “want” list. The various accounts can be moved and changed at any time with a vote of the compliant school board.

I would love for your team of businessmen to check out the current debt of the “district.”. This would in the form of loans and “bonds.” Keep in mind that this debt is owed by the propertyowners of the district. If the Holders of these bonds perceive that the “district” cannot pay these bonds then property (your home) is at risk. The police can evict you from your home, sell it at public auction and give the “district” its money. Nice little scheme. They do not care if you are homeless. They anly want “the money.”

So, you who vote for one levy after another are just handing over our money to the “mob” of extortionists who think they are entitled to your hard earned dollars and/or your home. It is not simple, but this information is out there for all to read.

    1. You know, you are not the only one to point this debt issue out recently. People don’t seem to understand that if the holders of the debt, “the property owners” default, then it is game over. The thieves and looters running the unions don’t care. They hate rich people anyway, and to them, anybody who owns property is a “rich” person, unless the property owner is a public worker. It is an us or them kind of mentality and they do wish to see an end to the lives of the wealthy who make their money in the private sector. They do want the collapse of the Lakota school district. Absolutely. People will say that such things are utterances of conspiracy today, but tomorrow they will learn the truth, once its too late.

      That poor kid.

“The song attempts to articulate my feelings and my experiences associated with being part of the LGBT community. This is an issue which I have a great deal of footing in, so I thought it would be an apt start for my experiment.”

Well thought out, but a poor wreck of a person. At least they know it. Sad.

      1. It was nice having you around. And I know it was tough when the levy addicts found out that you were associating with me. Unless someone eats out of their hands, they consider everyone who “thinks” an enemy. You became on their bad side just by discontinuing to agree with them. But you aren’t the only ones. There are a lot more on the fence now than there has ever been, and they treat them the same way.

      3. very true. You have made so many ways and caused so many people the frustration of taking away this blind obediance, but if folks ever take the time to listen, they will understand why you do this–and even if they disagree–they have to respect all the time you have taken out of your life to do this.

  3. I just have to say, what are people afraid of? dont they realize that whether the levy passes or not, nothing really changes?? it just boggles my mind that so many folks are working so damn hard just to make sure these administrators and teachers get raises they dont deserve. and is it true Joan Powell is president of the school board?? I am just amazed, dazed and confused. 😦

    1. Yes, she is president for one more year. She’s done after this year, and they intend to send her out with a levy passage. Getting higher taxes is their complete goal, as everything else, including Excellent with Distinction designations from the “state” are political. They shuffled the cards hoping that any of the little kids who rotate in and out of the local newspapers as reporters can’t remember what happens from one year to the next, unless they read this blog. : )

  4. Miss you NLKM – hope you are loving your new home. The kid on KOS is truly confused. He does make a stab at trying to sound like an intellectural. He did miss the boat on that score. I must admit that I failed to listen to his little ditty, but I have a feeling I didn’t miss much. He is a lost soul that has been damaged by the experimental educational system that he attended. Feelings, emotions, self esteem, opinions are what is the basis for the “outcomes” desired by the facilitators in the government schools. Remember that a kindergarten child is taught to rely on what he thinks is best. Yes, he has such vast experience in life that he can rely on soundly thought out ideas. “I’m OK You’re Ok” was taught to the gifted in the “80’s and I’m sure it went down from there. Especially with some of the psychopaths that were tenured in the schools.
I had the opportunity to learn much of the groundwork of my education on the government schools from Phyllis Schlafley. I joined Eagle Forum in the ’70’s and was ready for being a school board member. So I thought. Too bad things were even worse than we were taught. John Stormer is another hero of mine. I had the pleasure of hearing and meeting him at some of the conferences I do attend. The movie is right on target and I do hope lots of people take the time to watch it. If you believe in the Bible, you know what will happen to all of the people who abuse children. As Phylis has written, “Child Abuse in the Classroom.” A must read for all Eagles. God bless her for sticking her neck out over and over again. Always ridiculed by the press, but she doesn’t care what they think.

    2. Once you start caring what “they” think, you find yourself behaving like a horse guided by a rider with slight nudges in the ribs. The proper horse throws off the rider and roams free to do and think as they please. Only the broken horses become levy supporters. The free horses say “No.”

  5. That youtube vid you put up about 2017 almost made me throw up. Had it not been for the whip trick and the candle giving me hope, I’m sure I’d be mopping the floor.

PERFECT horse analogy. Because I’ve always owned parrots, I know that they, and horse’s… have long memories. More than humans. They also hold grudges. Piss them off and unlike a dog, a good nights sleep won’t fix it. They will forever be cautious and stealth to those that wronged them.

    1. That video is tomorrow’s subject. Today is public education as an antitrust violation. As far as pissing them off, that is fine with me. I have a long memory myself and hold grudges for decades. We started all this just trying to make a point that everyone should consider. What we discovered were attacks against everything we are about. And that makes me very angry………………so angry that I will never forget it. And unlike many, I don’t hesitate to act on my anger. Its there for a reason, and I’m not carrying it around for some stupid, “greater good.” It will be discharged appropriately.
