How to Have a Happy Life: The nature of love and meaning of Pavarotti’s ‘Nessun Dorma’

I ran across this unique article linked below which of course inspired comment. So many people in life are drowning in misery and self-doubt which is a real tragedy because it’s all avoidable. It’s one thing to have little regrets in life which start when we are all very young, but if not dealt with properly they become monstrosities as we age, and it really destroys people. The burden of regret is a tremendous liability on most people as this little article explores in Best Life. Things get even more complicated philosophically for people as we instruct them that a sense of “self” is selfish and that they should always put others before themselves 100% of the time. Such a position in life is not conducive to a successful existence, so for the sake of inspiring people to live just a little bit better not just in the short-term, but the long-term as well, perhaps a few encouraging words are appropriate.

From my earliest memory I have always had a strong sense of self and I’ve protected that concept vigorously for over 50 years now. I’m not a believer in reincarnation, but my inner compass has always pointed toward the need to protect my individuality. For that reason, I have never struggled with peer pressure attempting to take me away from my personal goals which later led to regret. I can honestly say that at age 50 that I have no regrets in life. Not a single one. That is true of both good and bad memories. Of course, not everything is always rosy, but when I’ve needed to I’ve certainly defended my sense of self with arguments and fist fights—and even though some people did get very hurt, for me those events didn’t lead to regrets because I was defending my sense of self. I think a lot of people go wrong in their lives because they feel like they should say this or that when other people impose themselves, yet the target of those negative emotions never say anything, they just internalize the emotions leaving them to reflect later in life back to a regret, which then destroys them in thousands of negative ways always from the inside out. Speaking personally, when I felt I needed to do something to defend my sense of self, I have always done it, sometimes recklessly and against the advice of everyone. At the time such things seemed crazy, but it has led me to a life without any regrets and that is a huge benefit to me now.

We are all taught that there is something bigger than ourselves, which is really stupid. The person that people fall in love with and want to be near and to learn from is what we are, not what we sacrifice to others. If you are the type of person who is always giving of yourself and your time you should not be surprised that the people you attract in your life are all people drowning from their bad decisions in life, and that they migrate to you to take whatever you can give them. So unhealthy relationships persist under such conditions. On the other hand, you can’t be psycho about your sense of self either going to the extreme opposite, never letting anyone near you because you feel you are so weak that you can’t let people tow in your wake. I find that the definition that we all have for “love” is wrong. Love isn’t about “falling” for other people, a spouse, a child, or a friend, it’s about taking the substance of one’s existence and allowing people to share in the fruits born from the pronoun “I.” If a person does not have a strong sense of self, than what is there for anybody to “love” about you.

What people love is not what you can give them, but what they can “love” about you—that strong sense of self. For instance, children might love their father but if the guy is just sitting around on the porch of his house thinking about all the things he regrets about his life, the times he should have made more money, or the times he stepped away from a fight with a neighbor over grass clippings, or even gave up his seat in the employee cafeteria to avoid some kind of conflict, there isn’t much for the children to love about such a person except for the sacrifice they provided to their own existence. Compare that to the father who builds a model train set in his basement which the grand kids play with whenever they come over. The material representation of the train set is a reflection of the sense of self of the grandfather which provides some hook for which others in his life can love about him, and the relationship is much more beneficial for everyone. The self-interest of the father to pursue a train set is much more value to a family than a regretful shell of a man rocking in a chair at the end of his life handing out twenty-dollar bills to his children who appreciate the gesture but are craving a sense of love for their father.

I had a tremendously bad day the other day at the start of it and as I am known to do on such days things got a little hairy. One of my daughters was coming over for dinner that night and as the sun was starting to set they asked me what I wanted for dinner and were putting their toes into the water to check my mood. By the time we had the conversation I had solved many of my problems and my response to them was that I had taken a lot of curvy roads through the mountains that day and turned them straight through a desert terrain. Upon further inquiry they asked for details so I sent them by text this video of Luciano Pavarotti singing the famous opera of Nessun Dorma. It is a favorite of mine not because it has inspired me to great things, but because it often matches my mood and approach to things in my life. When I hear Pavarotti sing this opera it reflects my sense of self for which provides many people in my life with something to love about me. I had two choices in such an interaction, I could say that “oh, my day was so bad, I just don’t know what to do” which for me would be uncharacteristic, because I always know what to do. Or I could send them an uplifting message for which they could invest their love—which they could trust because they understand my need to turn curvy roads into nice straight roads and solve problems—no, to “conquer” problems.

It is far better to live a life with bumps and bruises and occasional broken legs than to learn to live with regrets. Similarly, on that bad day I described I gave a little class to some of my employees who needed to hear It about the road less traveled which I’ll share here for context. Do not expect in life to take the safe paved roads that are provided for you and expect to find rare treasures just laying along the side of them. All you ever find is pocket change that people who came before you accidentally drop. The way to really find treasures in life is off those paved roads in the places in the forest where no trail exists. That is where snakes will bite you, thorn bushes puncture your skin and you can even break a leg stepping on the uneven surfaces. But it is also there where treasures are more likely to be found and they don’t all come from actual gold, but in other valuable forms that are otherwise left unmolested due to the difficulty in retrieving them. Yes the road is safe, but the sense of self that we have for which people fall in love doesn’t like safety—because it leads to regret. Not asking that girl for a date, or not taking the time to read that book, or driving that car, or taking that vacation to Hawaii because it’s too expensive leads to a life filled with regret. Life can be difficult and it often can be punishing just to breathe in it, but for me I expect to end each of my days with that feeling you get from Pavarotti singing Nessum Dorma “I will win.” Win what and why, that is defined by our sense of self, and you must have that to know what winning means and how being a winner brings more love to the people in your life who care about you than just being a loser that stays on the safe roads of life and does what everyone tells you to do, leading to an obvious life of misery and regret that isn’t good for anybody.

We Need to Knock that Smile off Rod Rosenstein’s Face: The crimes of the FBI and why this is the biggest story in the world

The biggest story of the day is not that of the loser Jarrod Ramos who stormed the Capital Gazette in Annapolis, Maryland to kill with a shotgun the editors whom he had a long-standing dispute. Nor was it the fat assed losers in desperate need of boyfriends who were protesting the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency’s D.C. headquarters trying to shut down ICE as an organization so to support the open border fantasy of destroying America from within by overloaded illegal immigration. The story is not that Supreme Court Justice Kennedy is retiring giving President Trump a much-needed pick to keep the court thinking correctly well into the future. The real story of the day was the testimony of the weaponized FBI by its current bosses in the form of the arrogant Rob Rosenstein’s comments before congress. This wasn’t just a show for the voters, this was a peeling back of the curtain in the Wizard of Oz of the real villains of our society—radical ideologues using the law and our tax money to front a coup against our election system for which they are using the legal system as a cover for operation. When you can’t trust the FBI essentially every other story is worthless, because social chaos is bound to spawn off in the wake.

The reason the Russian investigation at this point is such a joke is because its entire purpose has been to divert attention away from the radicalism utilized by the FBI for the purpose of manipulating an American election. The arrogance on full display of Rob Rosenstein and the presence of FBI agent Peter Strzok gave us a glimpse into a very subtle evil that had been percolating for quite some time. For the FBI to drag the document request by congress the way they have, and to continue to use a phony Mueller investigation hoping to run out the clock on complete social breakdown, which is going on all around us quite literally, the FBI has attempted to cover up crimes it committed against American voters with a diabolical scheme that would embarrass any plot writer for the latest James Bond movie.

All the other bad stories that are happening, especially the one involving the shooting at the Capital Gazette cascades off the bad behavior of a society lacking civility because the basic trusts of our invented institutions are in turmoil due to massive corruption among their leadership. Under President Obama the FBI became weaponized and due to a fortunate accident, President Trump was elected which exposed the menace with the villains caught in the act red-handed. Up until that point we had only suspected that our institutions such as the FBI, the IRS and other government institutions filled with government labor unionized radical employees were up to no good politically. We certainly saw it in the case of Lois Lerner and during the Fast and Furious debacle involving Eric Holder and Barack Obama. We certainly saw it in the Benghazi failures when the Obama administration tried to blame the whole thing on a video by some filmmaker. This case against Trump has the same fingerprints all over it by the tampering forces of a rival political administration. Only this time we have the evidence and the arrogance of Rob Rosenstein to confirm our worst suspicions.

Watching Peter Strzok testify on Capitol Hill, studying his body language has he entered and exited his car says a lot about the FBI. Even after all that he has done he was protected by the FBI and he believed just as Rosenstein did that the institution itself, of the FBI, is bigger than the society they are supposed to be sworn to protect. You could see it on Rosenstein’s face when he answered the questions of Jim Jorden from Ohio referring to the body of congress as an equal arm of government. The question asked of course from Jorden was why Rosenstein’s department was so slow to submit documentation to congress as requested. Obviously, the reason is to have the DOJ run out the clock and hope that some spectacular news story will come along and wash all this evidence away letting the villains at the FBI go free. But that’s not going to happen. Even with all the big news stories of this rather crazy week, nothing was bigger than the FBI testimony in front of congress. As much as they would hope, Rosenstein’s defiance was the smoking gun we all needed to see.

While its nice to put your head down on a soft pillow at night and know that we have hired people to deal with the villains of the world—such as why the FBI exists to begin with, often that security is an illusion. When the FBI becomes involved in such corruption all the good they do on the child porn cases, the surveillance of terrorist suspects and the general well-being of our society, they undo it all with just one case of corruption, and in this case it’s a lot of corruption. What makes me the angriest is that a smokescreen investigation into Trump collusion with some made up Russians has cost nearly $18 million so far, and that is just to hide the FBI’s own role in criminal activity. They have wasted enormous sums of money funded by tax payers on a story to hide their own guilt which is far different from the $57 million spent investigating Bill Clinton, or the $26 million spent on Watergate. Some might say that those other cases were examples of political witch hunts too, but in this case all Donald Trump did to find himself under investigation was that he won and election. The institutions can’t believe they didn’t see it coming, that all their indicators pointed to an easy Hillary Clinton victory. Well, I called the Trump win well over a year out. I had no doubt he would win even in October when all the dirty tricks came out. Hillary Clinton wasn’t even a legal contender, so the FBI didn’t ruin her chances, the only reason she was a candidate instead of being in jail running for president of the United States was because of them. The FBI didn’t cause Hillary to lose, Donald Trump beat her fair and square yet the pain of that victory for the other side is beyond their comprehension, so they are wasting, by the time it’s all said and done, over $20 million to prove that they aren’t the idiots that they really are.

What’s worse is that the FBI wasn’t just willing to provide legal cover for criminal conduct, but they have been willing to attack and destroy political rivals from within Trump’s circle. Using the FBI as a weapon against justice is beyond reprehensible and to watch Rosenstein and Strzok smile and at times laugh at members of congress during very serious testimony indicates that they know they are at the top of the legal ladder and they have no fear of falling off. That is a serious problem. It is the biggest story in the world right now because if there cannot be justice in the United States, there cannot be justice in Mexico, Indonesia, Japan, Russia or all of Europe—anywhere. If our FBI in America is that corrupt, then what chance is there for anybody anywhere? That is why the punishment for these offenses at the FBI and their role in criminal conduct must be punished in the harshest manner possible, and we need to knock that smile off Rosenstein’s face, because behind him are thousands of ankle bitters just like him wanting to be the next top boss, and if he gets away with all this corruption, there will be no way to fix it later with those waiting in the chain of command for their opportunity to do much worse if left unchecked.

The Blue Wave of Liberalism: As the Supreme Court rules in favor of tradition, tears are all that come from the left leaning insurgents

We are seeing a blue wave, a blue wave of liberal tears, that’s a whole lot better than the blood of slain socialists and communists in American streets. With the two biggest Supreme Court decisions coming this past week leaning the court in directions it should have always been, liberals should consider themselves lucky. The court system is working properly for once not just because it is representative of a conservative view for a change as there aren’t surprises such as we had in the Obamacare case years. The High Court under the guidance of President Trump is working competently especially in two cases, their support of the Trump travel ban which had been challenged by the lower courts and the reversal of the mandatory union dues to be paid by non union employees. By adding these decisions to the bakery case of a gay couple trying to compel a business owner to bake a cake for a ceremonial practice that they didn’t wish to do, a positive pattern is clearly developing which is good for the human race, but bad for liberals who demand the sanctioning of their bad behavior from good people in order to live their lives—and the Supreme Court is philosophically aligned for a change on the correct premise of all Constitutional debate—the act of compulsion over individuals.

In essence the nature of the travel ban where people from war-torn communist and socialist countries are fleeing to America can be summed up simply. Why are there people from bad places in the world trying to get into America—because America has value where El Salvador and Iran have lost that value. People wanting to survive desire to leave for the opportunities that America has to offer. However, bad guys who want to destroy America hide in the great numbers of migrants so that they can embed themselves like a Trojan horse into that culture of value and soon the problems of gang violence that is in El Salvador are in the streets of New York and Chicago. The main problem is that the failures of socialism and communism have created violent clans for which people are fleeing from in those host countries causing an immigration problem. Liberals like socialist behavior and have always been fans of communists so they ignore the failures of the origin countries and seek as all Marxists do, the looting of value wherever they can like some sick insect destroying a garden. The Constitution grants our president, whomever they may be, to protect American borders from just such a menace and that is what Trump has done, and the Supreme Court has upheld that right. The American people cannot be forced to sanction evil, in this case giving socialists and communists a path toward continued existence by forcing Americans to fund illegal immigration and allowing dictatorships and totalitarian governments to thrive off the looted wealth of America by flooding the border with immigrants and collapsing our legal system under the weight of sheer chaos.

And it was 41 years ago that a previous Supreme Court putting their finger to the air and trying to predict the future allowed labor unions to compel employees to pay union dues to them for which they would then spend on liberal political candidates. As I’ve pointed out many times the concept of labor unions were always socialists in their nature—their aim was always to compel the many to support the views of the union leadership—which were always Marxist in nature. The decision was wrong then and thankfully this modern court reversed that bad practice which will go a long way to restoring sanity back into our employment sectors. By allowing labor unions to compel employees to give them money it was no different from some mob boss compelling business owners and the people of a community to pay for protection not from the world, but from the mob bosses. Always behind the effort was the desire of the many to steal value from the few to sanction behavior that individuals didn’t agree with, which has the adverse effect of weakening our Republic style of government. America was never a democracy where the mobs rule by sheer numbers—which was always the desire of socialists and communists, because the lazy, the stupid, and the evil will always accompany the masses giving democracies their proper place in the Vico Cycle. Looking back at the failed countries of the Trump travel ban, failed societies of democracies that have allowed their cultures to be overrun by evil have destroyed the value of their homelands and they as a sheer survival instinct seek value where it is so they can loot from it—which is the cause of illegal immigration. The same holds true of labor unions who seek the input of the most valuable to loot that wealth and convert it to collective oppression to sustain their own existence.

The argument that labor unions have against such a Supreme Court ruling is that it supports “free riders.” People who benefit from the union negotiations without paying for the service. But what labor unions really mean to say is that they require compulsion and surrender of individual will to the mass desires of a tribe mentality to function effective as a leverage holder of a place of business. That is bad enough in private businesses, but it is absolutely detrimental in government jobs where tax payers are forced to fund this chaos then to have the looted money confiscated turned into liberal weapons in the realm of politics. By allowing the practice of such looting of individual wealth in favor of collective benefit, the previous Supreme Court of 1977 opened the door to the artificial financial support of a liberal party in America that would have never existed but for its thuggish roots into socialism which stole its value from people who would not give them that value unless the highest court in the land had said that such a thing was legal. The high court finally after more than forty years corrected that mistake and we are all much better for it.

yPhilosophy is the key to our civilization, and without it, we have chaos, which is what previous governments have been exporting up until this Trump administration. With President Trump showing that he is willing to protect the bold, the current Supreme Court has shown that it is willing to uphold individual rights over the protests of the group assimilators who want to turn our Republic into a mob driven democracy well on its way to anarchy—quite on purpose. The case-law from just this week’s Supreme Court cases will resonate for the next century in very positive ways Constitutionally, and that is good for everyone in the world—even the illegal immigrants. It protects what they are seeking. Even though the dream of America might be put off a few years through the legal immigration system that is merit based it means that when they do get to the greatest country on planet earth that their dreams will be intact and opportunities will be there for them to utilize as individuals. The socialist influences that have destroyed their homelands are finally being pushed back in America which keeps that light on in North America for the rest of the world to follow and that is truly the greatest aspect of this week’s rulings by the Supreme Court. While the liberals may think its all unfair they should at least take refuge in the fact that they are shedding tears, and not blood, because their continued incursions into traditional American life is not permissible and if we did not have the courts doing some of this suddenly good work, then it would be war in the streets against their collectivist ideologies, and they wouldn’t like the result of that. They should consider those tears a lucky byproduct.

Why a Space Force is Needed: Answering the call on the doorsteps of history

I understand and sympathize with the frustrations President Trump must be feeling. I think the creation of a Space Force in the United States is long overdue. It’s more than time for such a thing, especially as commercial ventures move more into space. There will be rescues needed, and general maintenance as Space becomes more of our national dialogue. Yet the small-minded continue to relish in the feces of their entirely limited scope. I read maybe the dumbest thing I have read all year at the link below. It will take me dozens of smart books to wash the filth from my mind, yet for discussion points I have to recommend it to you dear reader as well, for context. Essentially mankind in its current form is of two minds, one is always looking for the next great thing and is inventing itself to that doorstep. The other is desiring to do what mankind has always done and that is to retreat back into the forms of the primitive. Those two desires are clearly at cross purposes, they are not compatible intellectually to inhabit the same space on planet earth and that is very obvious with Karl Grossman, the author of the article at the following link—and of some of the video examples shown below.

I certainly don’t care about the Outer Space Treaty of 1967. Mankind hadn’t even walked on the moon when that treaty was made with other countries. It was way too soon to put language on paper. Space must be in the future of humanity, because earth won’t last forever. Earth is a jealous mother cleaving to its children in a very unhealthy way, but mankind must rebel away from it anyway, and that Outer Space Treaty of 1967 that Karl Grossman is so excited about is worthless. The people of the earth are not egalitarians, and they certainly aren’t socialists. There cannot be a treaty of shared interests with countries that are not all functioning from the same general philosophies and until that happens there will be wars among people. Countries will fight it out just as there are arguments at family dinner tables over ideological based observations. In the meantime, for the sake of peace, the United States can’t chain itself to some stupid treaty with the communist nation of China over how to develop space.

It’s essentially the same argument that we still have about the moral nature of western expansion in the United States, did the primitive Indians have a right to hold mankind down to the prayers to the gods for their sustenance, or should capitalism, the railroad, and the boundless imagination of people unleashed by the desire for personal wealth unlock those mysteries for the name of science? I certainly know the answer and it’s not even close, I’ll take science any day. I am certainly a fan of pushing all the hippies, and progressive losers out of the science fields and replacing them with adventurers and fortune hunters—because all science needs money to function, and it is in science that mankind unlocks its next doors of exploration. Space deserves our attention, as many adventures await, and I don’t have any sympathy for the sentiments of the overly cautious who want peace over understanding, and a preservation of nature over wealth creation. Nature is always in a state of decline, and its end is guaranteed. But the ability to think and change its circumstances is very specific to the nature of mankind, and it is one of the most positive elements in the universe. I have no doubt that we could and likely will look to the ends of time and back again and we won’t find any form of life that is as unique, and special as the human mind. Because the human mind can not only navigate its environment for basic needs of survival, but it can contemplate the nature of existence and make course corrects that benefit all life everywhere.

Listening to critics of Donald Trump’s Space Force reminded me of my school days where as a Star Wars fan who often wore t-shirts to school paying reverence to that classic movie, kids would make fun of it. The more they did of course, the more I wore them because it was never my goal to fit in with those imbecilic losers. I understood why they said what they did even back then, before I had literature and adult understandings to define the elements for me. Public schools were always built to support the old order of aristocratic Europe, the kind of thinking that kept mankind chained to the Vico Cycle—where questions like, “do you believe in Atlantis” were met with sneers. Those old order people would say, “of course not, we invented the wheel at such and such time, we had the Bronze Age here, and the Iron Age there, so of course there couldn’t have been an Atlantis.” Only what those fools never considered was that under today’s current sea levels are old ocean fronts containing major cities of the old world and one of them is likely Atlantis, a place that jumped forward and reverted back again to the dingy thinking of the socialists and progressives—people probably called by another name by a Karl Marx figure who infected their society the way the modern version infected our present society with diseased thinking and fearful sentiment. Kids in grade school made fun of Star Wars because fans dared to think the unimaginable, was there life on other planets, why would anybody want to travel into space—there were no girls there to kiss so why do it. People should keep their feet on the ground, turn in their guns and trust mother government to chain mankind’s feet to the earth and be done with all these fantasies of life in outer space. I always knew better, I mostly wore Star Wars shirts because it was like throwing Holy Water on a demon from the apocalypse.

Conquest is not a bad thing, before a human mind can conquer what it doesn’t yet know, it must destroy the things that hold back knowledge and that is often the rules and superstitions of the previous order. Just as there is a need for a Coast Guard to help in international shipping, and an Air Force to provide not only air cover for the United States, but to refill airplanes in long distance transit, as we move into Space and host long distance trips to Mars and beyond there will be a need for a professional organization to assist in the travels, when things do go wrong which they will. That doesn’t mean that mankind should sip tea in the streets of Paris and look to the art of the past and declare that genius would progress no further, but that all minds should dare to go to the next place discovered by adventurers and unleash new thoughts and practices for which have not yet been invented because necessity hasn’t yet demanded them. The old jealous types who cleave to the old are not trying to save the earth or humanity through peace, they are only trying to lay cover for their own timidity and internal fears of the unknown. And that is precisely why we need a Space Force now, and not a minute longer, because space is a place that we must explore and eventually escape to, in order to bring value to the thoughts that placed us on this doorstep of history. To turn away now would be to become the next Atlantis for some future civilization of head hunters and tattooed freaks cleaving once again at the primitive values of the known. And we don’t want to see that happen, that’s for sure. I’m ready to wear my t-shirt for the new Space Force and to boldly help wherever possible.

Being the Best Dad in the World: The secret is in priorities, tenacity, and judgment

I had a really nice Father’s Day this year. My grown-up girls came to see me and treated me to a really great day and I had a chance to see all the grandkids and we had a tremendous amount of fun. But I didn’t know it until the next morning what they had written about me on their social media accounts which was the best thing of all. It was my oldest daughter who wrote the little testament below, but my youngest had a bit to add which I share only as an example for others to follow. One thing I will openly admit about myself is that I work extremely hard literally every minute of every day to be the best that I can be. Being the “best” is a value judgment, so I am certainly not one of these people who believe in living and let live kinds of people who profess that no judgments about others should be made. I judge everything, literally, and I see that as a very healthy thing for the human condition, and as a father I didn’t hold back with my kids. I always put them first no matter what I personally might have wanted to do and made sure that they lived in a stimulating environment while they worked out their intellects protected by the very many bad people in life from within our families and out side of them, so that they could developed into the great people they are today. They are now at the age where they can appreciate all that effort and they let me know how they felt on Father’s Day.

Honestly, I think I may have been, and am the best father in the history of fathers. Again, I aim to push myself in everything I do, I want to be the best at everything—so if I’m going to go to the truly ominous step of bringing lives into the world, I did make several conscious decisions to ensure that those lives would get a very special treatment from my job as a father. If I was going to do it, I was going to do it better than anyone had thought was previously possible and looking back on it now, with all the difficulties of raising specifically girls in a world that is trying to push them in all kinds of inauthentic directions, I am very proud of the job. I’ve never claimed to be humble in any way, so I don’t mind showing off a bit how proud I am of my kids and how much they care about me because I hope it serves as an example to others that a successful relationship with their children is not only possible, but its encouraged.

So what makes a father so important and how could one become the “best?” Well, don’t listen to any examples from modern movies. Don’t look to literature, comics or your next-door neighbor. Don’t look at politics or even to the limits of your own upbringings. Most of the time, the parental influences from the previous generations fall short of greatness because they were taught that they were supposed to be meek and weak, and humble before God. Speaking from experience if I had been the kind of person who waited for God to solve my problems my family wouldn’t be what it is today. Thinking of one example, I was working three jobs, one full-time, two part time and one of them was a grill cook at Wendy’s near Kings Island. My neighbors across the street from my home where my kids lived were drug dealers and they had a teenage son that offered my kids dope while they were riding their bicycles. My wife showed her anger at this and instead of the kid yielding to the activity out of respect, he invited over to his house every thug in Mason to gather on their front lawn and yell at my wife—essentially to force her to stay inside the house and not to watch their activities. They were trying to scare her into silence.

We only had one car and I always left the car with my wife so that if something happened with the kids she could take care of it. But on this day there was a yard full of roughly 30 teenage thugs in front of our house making it so that my kids couldn’t play in front of our house. She had tried to call the police, but at that point the police were clearly on the side of the drug dealers. I found out later that the local police were getting a cut of the money from the family because I approached the mayor on the issue and that’s how I learned it. So the police had labeled my wife as one of those neurotic types who called the police too much, so they wouldn’t come to break up the activity, and the teenage kids seemed to know it feeding their aggression. That left my wife with only one option, she called me at my Wendy’s job and asked me to come home and solve the problem. So I left and rode my bicycle the 8 miles it took to get back to my house, while it was pouring rain, and I arrived about 20 minutes later to the scene of the spectacle. My daughter who wrote the nice little article shown here had my bullwhip ready to give me because she knew I was going to fight all those kids and she thought I’d need it. I grabbed it and set to challenging all those kids at the same time to a fight. I unloaded on them in one of the most epic rampages I’ve had in my life. It wasn’t the only one, but it was certainly one of the best. I had no idea at the time if I’d be arrested for charging onto the property of a neighbor and threatening to kill all their punky kids. So I figured I better make the whole thing count.

As it turned out the parents of the house wanted nothing to do with the police coming to break up the fight and having it known what they actually had at the house in the form of drugs. The local cops obviously knew, but the police department itself really couldn’t afford for this house to be exposed in the news, so the mom came outside and called all thirty of those kids into the house, for which they strangely obeyed. They left me standing outside with my bullwhip ready to kill someone, all by myself with the entire neighborhood watching. I stayed out there pacing around for a half hour fully expecting the police to arrive as someone would have surely called them. But the police never came and eventually I went back into our house to speak to our family.

When my kids talk about some of the crazy stories from them growing up, this is one of them, although not the greatest. But for me it was one of those father moments when I thought I was going to go to jail for doing all the right things. If the house across the street hadn’t been “politically sensitive” I obviously would have for threatening to kill 30 minors. A few of them were over 18 but most were between 15 and 18 and what I was doing was certainly against the law. But I had to do what had to be done to protect my family. As a result of that escapade we went into a two-year cold war with that family and several others who lived on our street, but my kids were free to ride their bikes in front of our house without anybody bothering them. Eventually, the police told us that if we wanted to live in a nice neighborhood, that we should move to one instead of trying to make the place we lived in Mason a neighborhood to our standards. I took the issue to the mayor’s office of Mason, but he had no stomach for any of it, which pointed obviously to a much deeper corruption within our community that we otherwise wouldn’t have known about. I always thought that our neighborhood was nice and that the community of Mason was on the uptick, which it obviously was looking back on things, but there were lots of middle class people living there who wanted drugs, especially pot, and that family across the street was happy to bring it in for them, and the police were happy to help as long as they were able to get their hands on some extra cash.

Being a great father means sometimes you have to do things like that, even though your own personal comfort is certainly not a consideration. In my situation, I was literally working 110 hours a week and we only had one car so I was riding a bicycle to all these jobs. I never had extra money in my pocket for snacks in the vending machines, I could never afford to treat myself to anything, except for the many books that I did buy to read during my breaks so that I could get smarter and work myself out of such a tough position. Being a good dad means you put the kids first in front of everything, because if you bring them into the world, you better make sure they get everything they need, even when it doesn’t seem fair that a father should have to go so far. Over the next twenty years after that event, there would be many more challenges, some of them outright scary. But kids expect fearlessness out of their parents, and its especially the job of a father to give it to them, so that they know when they lay their heads down each night that someone is shielding them from the evils of the world, so that they can intellectually develop properly. At some point they need to become those people for their own kids, and it is a much easier job when they have some example to live off of and I consider myself a great dad because even with many events like the one described, I still took time to make sure my kids felt that the world was a good place that would bend to their will, if they had the will to do it. So for me, it was greatly satisfying to have them tell me their thanks on this particular Father’s Day in 2018.

As a person I’ve had a very adventurous life and it has at times been very dangerous. I’ve been involved with real life mobsters, (long story from a long time ago) been in conflicts where people died, been in trouble at just about every level of our court system, worked with politicians at all levels, worked every kind of job imaginable, had to defend myself countless times, sometimes violently. I’ve been around the world and seen a lot of different things, I’ve been at the top of the world career wise and at the lowest of the low barely getting by. But at no point in all those experiences did I not put my children first. For example, often I would work a 16-hour 2nd and 3rd shift on a Saturday and instead of sleeping I would go with the family to Kings Island for the day to show the kids a good time. At 4 PM I went back to work as they went home and I had no sleep, and I’d do another 16 hours of work after that. During all this I wrote a few books, and still pursued creative projects and the kids noticed, and as adults they appreciate all that effort. And that is the best Father’s Day gift of all, and for me I am happy that they are happy. Because that’s what it was all for. In that context I can say that I was the best father that anybody could hope for, and that type of effort is what it takes to call yourself one.

Those Who Climb Mountains: The miracle of Trump’s Fox and Friends press conference in “The Age of Envy”

I couldn’t help but to think of the great literary classic, and one of my favorite books, Thus Spoke Zarathustra as Donald Trump became the first president in American history to come out of the White House on a Friday morning and give an impromptu press conference specifically to Steve Doocy on an unscheduled Fox and Friends live show. Trump saw the press gathered on the lawn to do their usual morning broadcasts and he just stepped out in the light of day and gave an unprecedented, fearless all access question and answer session that literally had everyone’s jaws dropping on the ground. In Nietzsche’s great classic Zarathustra had come down from his mountain top where he had been living and visited a village to teach them the way of the Übermensch. Translated to English the German term invented by the philosopher Nietzsche means overman, or otherwise more than man and is an evolution of western philosophy. While the orient is concerned specifically with group assimilation in their philosophic references, the west has always been about advancing the individual away from the group toward exceptionalism. Nietzsche did great work on the matter, but Ayn Rand took the concept even further and flushed out the ideas more succinctly. To date there is still more work to do, but without question the long line of thought on the matter of the Übermensch manifested on the White House lawn on June 15th 2018, one day after the President’s 72nd birthday, the release of the now famous IG report on the FBI case against that same president which was very embarrassing to that same FBI. The event also took place three days after Trump met with Kim Jong Un for the first time any American president has met with North Korea with the intention of a peace settlement and has so far been successful. Trump also started trade negotiations at the G7 Summit and as of the morning of that press conference had stuck China with stiff penalties in the forms of tariffs. Trump had emerged as an Übermensch, and the world wasn’t sure what to think about it.

Two big events shaped my opinion on this matter long ago. The first was a continuation of the second but is relevant because it defined my view on these matters of eastern and western philosophies colliding in a healthy way for which I’m about to speak. I was listening to a lecture by the late great Joseph Campbell where he was talking about male initiation rites of passage in comparative religious cultures and he said something that just bothered me greatly. He said that it was an accepted and common practice for people not to do too well in manners of endeavor because doing such a thing was looked down on culturally. That perplexed me because to my thinking, if you were going to do something, why wouldn’t you try to do the best and be the best at it. Growing up I was an extremely rebellious kid. Not the kind who said too many curse words or was always up to no good. I was always in trouble for trying to be too good. When a bully picked on me to force me into some jar of human constraint I always fought back which led to a pretty bad fight between my dad and I on the matter. He was very impatient with me when he said that someday “they’re going to get you,” he was saying through clinched teeth with a finger in my face. The “they” he was talking about was of course the aristocracy of non-value which Ayn Rand described in her great book titled Return of the Primitive published originally in August of 1971. At that time, I had no understanding of Nietzsche, Ayn Rand or any of the philosophic history from western civilization that I was plotting my own course to completion, I simply knew that it seemed ethically wrong to allow my will to be bent by bullies in school or the social mechanisms that seemed to fuel their behavior. As it turned out, I was a pretty smart kid who was also uniquely gifted with physical aptitude, so I learned to fight early on and really didn’t grow up with any fears of being beat up—because honestly nobody could.

But my dad was trying to prepare me for the world and at that time he thought I was just trying to be a big fish in the small pond of my community, that once I hit the world, or the world hit me that those big waves would destroy me, and he didn’t want to see that happen. So he was telling me that people don’t want you to be the best, they don’t want you to be the fastest, smartest, or most courageous. The world wanted you to have flaws, and to yield to them because it made people feel less anxious about you if they could relate to your weaknesses. What he was talking about was the general acceptance of egalitarianism as the highest virtue of advanced western thinking—which many liberal professors in our colleges were teaching was a proper mixing of eastern and western ideologies for which the world would progress to the next states of existence. Only that never seemed right to me so I rebelled even more and by rebelling I meant to exhibit myself as removed from the rest of society whenever possible. I always wanted the best-looking girl on my arm, the fastest car, to be the best in a fight and the sharpest with my mouth. I simply wanted to be the best of the best and I have always expected that out of myself and to this very day, there has never been anyone—not even governments, who have had the ability to kick my ass. The legal system certainly tried to put me into that category once things really got serious—what my dad had warned me about, but I plowed through and reached my middle years much like Zarathustra himself in that classic Nietzsche novel.

My support of Donald Trump initially, and even presently, was born out of this desire to see more Zarathustras emerging from their top positions in business and art and enter the world of politics, which is where they were needed the most to advance the concept of individualism over collectivism—and if the truth of the matter is ever really considered, the hatred that the FBI had for Donald Trump was summed up in Ayn Rand’s classic work, Return of the Primitive, specifically the chapter titled “The Age of Envy.” The established order of mankind has up to this point been made up of collective masses who used the thuggish practices of force to keep individuals of exceptional ability from emerging into any positions of influence. This conflict was essentially captured in all of Ayn Rand’s written works and are specifically an American creation philosophically which goes well beyond where Nietzsche was attempting to go. Nietzche’s version of the Übermensch failed to reach its proper escape velocity and remained a captor of socialism which led to eventually the Nazi who misinterpreted Nietzsche dangerously into a compromise with the routine collectivism of Europe which was the aristocracy of non-value spoken about earlier in this article. The evil of Hitler was that he tried to bring such a society about by essentially removing all other values from society and forcing all of Europe into seeing the world the way he did—book burning, mass executions of people who didn’t think the way he thought they should think, and any other rebellious elements. Needless to say, Hitler missed the whole point of what Nietzsche was trying to say, and Ayn Rand smoothed out the failures in her own works. Which brings us to Donald Trump, who is maybe the first of his kind in history to function at such a high level on the world stage.

About two or three times a week people ask me if its lonely at the top. My first thought is—“the top of what?” The top of a mountain in Appalachia country is not the same as the top of a mountain in the Rockies or even larger yet, the Himalayas. Being at the top of a company in West Chester isn’t the same as running a state or running a country, but they are all degrees of peaks that we achieve in life and I get the meaning. For me there is always some new mountain to climb and I’m always on the outlook, and of course the reason we do it is because it’s there. It’s a true human inclination to always look to advance ourselves—or rather is a more than human trait that comes with the experience of thought. Donald Trump at 72 years old is at the top of the world, the highest peaks a professional person can obtain in the world of earth, and he’s happy about it, and he had some fun living in that world with Steve Doocy on Fox and Friends. He was offering the same thing that Zarathustra was offering the villagers in Nietzsche’s book. However, unlike Zarathustra, Trump is driven to go further and instead of yielding to the lackluster aims of the lazy and corrupt of our human species, he is determined to break them, and that is an emotion I can fully understand. I am of the same mind. It’s that feeling you do get when you are the top of whatever you are trying to do. For me it’s never lonely at the top. I enjoy the view too much to be concerned about such things as companionship.

But one thing is quite clear, and Trump understands it, even if the rest of the world except for a few at the top who can truly see things for the way they are, the role that the FBI has played in American politics has not been to protect us from some criminal threat. But rather to protect our institutions from the threat of the overman—from the value of the bar setters who like to climb mountains and can reside at the peaks without needing the comfort of the aristocracy of non-value. This obsession with non-value goes back to the start of the human race where children born a little too perfectly were found to have flaws by their parents in hopes that some demon wouldn’t be attracted to the young child and take them over for the ways of evil. The gods of the Greeks and Romans—of every western civilization have the same quandaries—it is unsafe to expect humans to venture too far toward perfection. It is safe to see flaws, and to bow to the gods of the unseen realms and to know one’s place in the universe. It is dangerous to think that “one’s shit doesn’t stink.” It is safe to throw away values, to entertain evil with naked bodies in a mud pit of Woodstock smoking dope and setting ambitions no higher than that of collective society. It is dangerous to consider gene manipulation, to seek destinations in the stars, or to live longer than 100 years. Yet for those who like to be at the top and the perspectives that can be obtained there, the aim of the human race should always be to climb, to climb ever higher and higher anyway possible. The fuel that drives Trump is that he has the ambition of a child, a force that has not been driven from his mind, and it is bringing him and America great success. And that is very good to see. It is precisely why I voted for him and I am eager to see what mountains he can climb next because his perspective is setting the bar for the future that just might save humanity from its perpetual crawl back into the caves of the primitive. For a change in all of human history, we might just stay on top of the mountain and consider venturing even further—and that is something to get excited about.

Pulling Away the Masks: The brillance of Donald Trump’s Singapore Summit revealed

So many interesting things to talk about. It is all so very astonishing. Probably the most remarkable part of President Trump meeting with Kim Jong Un was the very powerful Return of the Jedi metaphor of pulling away the mask of Darth Vader only to find a nice kid under the layers of hyperbolae. The ironic thing is that it took a person from outside the established order to take away the masks that same order uses to drive public emotion, and that effect has many people reeling from the sudden exposure to the outside world. Kim Jong Un really is just another 20 something kid who wants to watch NBA basketball. He loves the West and wants to be a part of the fun, and Trump offered it to him in a way that nobody had ever done before. I watched very carefully the CNN interview with Dennis Rodman where he became very emotional over the Summit in Singapore between both of his friends Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un that it became very obvious what had always been going on. The old aristocracy that has always wanted to rule the world needed people to be afraid of something, so they put a mask on Kim Jong Un for us all to look at while they attempted to manipulate us with global ideals and the theft of American wealth for the rest of the world committed to socialism to enjoy. Using that same fear to drive people out of their native countries and into the United States the intent was always to change America from the inside out, but now that is changing. Trump’s foreign policy that many people think doesn’t exists isn’t to welcome the oppressed to our doors at the border, its to teach their home countries how to be more like the United States—and that has many in a panic.

Yes, the Bush presidents could have made peace with Kim’s family many years ago, Bill Clinton could have, and if you watched the Dennis Rodman interview, Barack Obama could have as well. As crazy as Rodman is in his public appearance, any president of the United States should have been interested in what went on in the interactions of an American who just returned from North Korea with a personal message from Kim Jong Un with any hint at a peace-offering. The really sad answer was that none of those presidents really wanted peace, and neither did the rest of the world at the aristocratic level. They needed a Darth Vader character to scare the world into their arms of leadership, so they ignored the cries for attention that came out of North Korea making the world a much more dangerous place, on purpose.

It took a very self-confident man in Trump to see past the illusions and to simply take the mask off Kim Jong Un so that peace could be discussed and more than that, to introduce western capitalism to the country that has been left so far into the dark. As it turns out it wasn’t North Korea who wanted to repress their people into the darkness of communism all this time, it was people like the Bushes, the Clintons, and Obama who did. Trump wants to build a condo on the beaches of North Korea and give their people opportunities to eat at McDonald’s, like everyone else in a developed country can. But that old order needed a bad guy to scare everyone into following their leadership and what has now happened is that we are all free of that fear, for the first time.

I would expect the Democrats to be upset with Trump’s successful Singapore Summit, because they really have nothing to offer as a party and by making North Korea a friend instead of a foe, Trump has more than earned a second term, and destroyed any fantasy they had of a blue wave in November. Trump has done something in record time that many proposed was impossible. A less confident person would have listened to the pundits, to the political hacks, to the lawyers cautioning him to listen to the “experts” instead of simply walking over and taking off that Darth Vader mask to reveal a smiling young guy underneath who just wants to have what any other millennial would like to have, a cool car, a big fast airplane and a good place to get a hamburger. The Democrats have nothing to do but complain that Trump should have done this, and that he should have done that. Even Republicans in congress who have drag assed for years can only now try to associate themselves with the peace process by attaching themselves to Trump’s deal for their review. But we all know that nothing would have happened if Trump had not been willing to simply pull off the mask and help the kid from North Korea join the world with an invitation that was only issued from a White House backed by a voting sector tired of the games that aristocrats play.

What is so surprising to many people is just how manipulative so many people at the top have turned out to be, how much they have lied to all our faces about what constitutes a threat and what doesn’t. Trump really did make the whole thing with North Korea look easy and as he said in his press conference, he reminded the world that China’s economy is less than America’s and that Iran was next, which I believe my readers will recall I have been saying for some time. Capitalism and communism are not equals on the world stage. Many of the people who wanted to make Kim Jong Un into Darth Vader, which the kid played along with because his father and grandfather had put him into that role—and that role was globally accepted for what it did—even if people did die—wanted to support the managed economy world view of a lesser communism driven by the necessity to join together against a common enemy—so they made up their world enemies to provide justifications for their own existences. The miracle of what Trump is doing is what the United States should have always been doing. There was never a reason to make deals through the CIA with dictators around the globe to make peace, the way to beat them all was through economic strength, and the way to do that was to pull away the restraints of capitalism and open up free markets in a way that had never been done before.

Understanding the power of financial leverage, which Donald Trump obviously does, as well as any decent business person, it isn’t hard to bring peace to the world. A country like Iran is easy to destroy if you attack their ability to hide their Marxism behind a scary mask of radical Islam. By pulling away the mask, often we find just simple people who want all the things that the rest of us want—opportunity. When opportunities are limited the small minds will fight over table scraps, which is what the global aristocrats have been doing for many decades to us all. Trump didn’t just put an end to that practice in North Korea, he set the motion going into the other direction the entire motivation behind the immigration problem. People flee to America always to get away from some terrible place on earth. But why not make where they are coming from not so terrible? Why does North Korea have to be such a bad place—or Honduras, El Salvador or even Syria? Because the social order in favor of global communism has always wanted to use fear to drive people from one place to another, and in that transaction, voting patterns changed those destination countries to their tactical favor. But now, Trump with the simple meeting with Kim Jong Un, has just reversed that everywhere in the world, and that is a major miracle that won’t have the full ramifications of its impact measured until many future decades finally realize the significance. And when they do, the history books will all have to be completely rewritten.

What Being A Winner Requires: A cautionary tale of refocusing the Tea Party movement

I received the following letter shown below, which I have reproduced in its entirety for reference, from the Warren County Tea Party. They think it illustrates massive corruption in Columbus, Ohio regarding the speaker of the house race and the FBI investigation of Cliff Rosenberger. The letter is written by a person who calls themselves a Republican by the name of Nino Vitale. After reading it carefully I have determined that the letter and the writer are simply ankle biters clawing their way for a piece of scrap meat waiting to fall from the table—which is where the real corruption often starts. But taking this letter along with observations I made during this past week at the West Chester Tea Party meeting where I learned that the organization that I’ve been with virtually from its inception did not fully support the arming of teachers in Lakota schools, and that other members were very suspicious of the intentions of politicians who had long been a part of the West Chester Tea Party I think some perspective is in order. But first, let’s read this letter:

Representative Nino Vitale (District 85), a conservative representing Champaign, Logan and Shelby Counties, had this to report this morning about what took place in the State House yesterday.

Un-Friggin Believable! – I’d Rather Have a Government Pause Than This Corruption.

As you know, the former speaker, Cliff Rosenberger, resigned in disgrace and under a cloud of an FBI investigation. This has embarrassed the Ohio State House and our members. This is a time when government officials are not well liked and we need to be above reproach.

Then it was found out that one mega-donor, Ginni Ragan, had been giving millions to ‘select’ house members that would then ensure the legislation she wants is brought to the floor and they vote the way she wants, even if that conflicts with their district. One of many examples of this is Medicaid Expansion, which Ohio cannot afford but the hospitals love it because it’s a direct line of cash from the taxpayer to the bottom line of the hospital. It would probably be no surprise for you to learn that Ragan has a large financial interest in the hospitals around Ohio.

We were all called into town yesterday [May 15] to vote on a new speaker. Many asked me, who will you be voting for? I was aware of a few candidates but heard there could be a few more as well. Instead of locking in on a specific person, I decided to go to Columbus with a set of principles on who would be best for a speaker. I decided on the following;

1 – The person should be removed from the current cronyism and FBI investigation.
2 – The person should be distanced from the former speaker, Cliff.
3 – The person should not be a member of the current or past leadership team that Cliff had set up in case they too could be under investigation and we elect someone who then has to resign themselves.

I felt these were ‘common sense’ principles. Given all that is going on, someone who is removed from this process is good. And why elect someone that very well could be next on the FBI’s most wanted list in the Ohio House? Elect someone clean.

Three people were nominated. Dorothy Pelanda, who was a member of Cliff’s leadership team in the last session. Ryan Smith, who is currently the finance chair and was Cliff’s roommate, in a high rise, expensive apartment, all financed by Ragan herself who owns the apartment. And Andy Thompson, an outsider who is not in leadership and not part of the current or past teams that Cliff had put together. I know all three of these people and while this is not about personalities, in looking at my three (3) principles and listening to all three (3) candidates give their speeches, Rep. Andy Thompson was clearly my choice. This was not personal, just simply about the principles I had laid out.

The speaker pro tem informed us that a new speaker would need to get to 50 votes on the floor in order to secure the speaker’s gavel. That is where the election is official. Everything we were doing in yesterday was not official.

When the vote was taken, Smith had 42, Pelanda had 3 and Thompson had 20. I was frankly shocked that 42 of my colleagues in the house felt comfortable voting for someone like Smith who was Cliff’s roommate and righthand man and was on the take from Ragan, the mega donor, living in her high-class apartment with Cliff. Why elect someone so close to all this scandal who very well could be the next person to drop and resign? Wow!

42 votes were not enough to meet the threshold of the 50 needed to vote on the floor. So a standing vote was taken of those who refused to vote for Smith on the floor in public. This standing vote was intended to embarrass us and make us targets to other members could start beating on us to change our vote and ‘get in line.’ I’m proud to say I was one of 18 members who held strong and stood up to say NO to swamp politics and corruption.

I simply do not understand how 42 members could vote for someone like this. I learned yesterday that Smith used his money to try and get a Democrat elected in Franklin County, who was running as a Republican. This person never voted Republican in his life, but yet Smith, because he wanted him for his speaker vote, agreed to fund a Democrat to the tune of thousands of dollars, and tried to defeat the Republican. This is swamp politics at its best. Without 8 of us 18, they did not have the votes and had to suspend session for today [May 16]. I had many reps tell me we need to get to the ‘people’s business’ and there were ‘important bills’ that needed to get passed. Well, why didn’t you pass those bills the last 18 months when you had the chance? We are only talking about 1 or 2 session days left for voting until the fall. I say let’s let these investigations play out over the summer and see who might be next. There are potentially other members of the House and bills that could be under investigation. Should we really be voting on bills that could be illegal or improper? I think the people are better served by a government ‘pause’ to sort this out rather than pay to play government where megadonors are funding select members who then get their bills on the floor and passed and the FBI has to step in. That’s not government of, by and for the people! One rep actually told me, people don’t know what’s going on back home in my district and they don’t know about FBI investigations and don’t know the name Cliff Rosenberger. You need to get in line and not shut the House down and vote for Smith. Well, maybe my district is more informed as people ask me about this all the time. See most of the Reps like it when you aren’t informed, because you can’t beat on us for things you don’t like. I don’t mind at all. That’s why I ran for office, to represent YOU!

I’d rather have a government ‘pause’ than a corrupt swamp government passing bills that may be pay to play and rigged by a few megadonors and their financial interests. These swamp creatures actually had the nerve to put the pay day lending bill on the floor schedule for a vote today which is a likely main target of the FBI investigation! You have got to be kidding me! I hope my other 17 colleagues stand firm. No government is better than this corruption. As for now, session has been cancelled for today and no speaker has been elected. Again, I’d rather take care and have a pause then continue on as business as usual, which is defined as pay to play, resignations, mega donors, republicans funding democrats and FBI investigations.

It’s my honor to serve you and I am doing my part to make government honorable and above reproach. I guess Trump would call that, draining the swamp. I’m dealing with 42 out of 65 Republican swamp creatures who voted for more corruption. Un-friggin-believable! Yes, I’m ticked off and I’ll fight this!

My take on this letter is that the people distributing it are looking for an excuse to rebel against something, anything because they are unsure what to do about the change in narrative for which they are now a part of. Based on what I know about the situation, which is likely more than most people know, is that this FBI investigation of Cliff Rosenberger is a political hit not unlike that of the one that has been leveled at President Trump and the “swamp” creatures who are upset about it are the alligators, snakes, and lizards who are trying to suddenly make themselves appear to be bunny rabbits, field mice, and harmless turtles sunning themselves on an inconspicuous log floating in the waters of a marshland. Things can get pretty tricky if you don’t know what you are looking for, and that’s why its important to have an educational perspective.

What I see happening in these Tea Party organizations is that the world has shifted and people are unsure how to continue. Before Donald Trump was elected and several elected officials that were backed by the various Tea Parties started gaining seats, being a member of the rebellion was a mutual sentiment of kinship that was like a nice warm blanket for the ever-questioning participant who wanted to make needed changes to the world around them. That’s what brought the Tea Party together. It became fashionable to attend Tea Party meetings and gather in the back of the room before and after these events and shake our heads at how corrupt everything was and what a steep hill it was going to be to fix it all. But like there always is in these types of things there were people who secretly prayed in the back of their minds, probably at the unconscious level, that chaos and mayhem would always continue because they believed that those were the elements that gave them new friends within the Tea Party movement.

However, the times have changed, and the Tea Party is on the winning side—and it was because of them that the changes took place. The members of the Tea Party are not the victims of some big government conspiracy any longer, they are not the passivists who were being ignored by Disney and Homeland Security—they are now the target audience struggling to find their own way in a swamp that has the water draining more and more day by day leaving the real villains with fewer places to hide. The battle for the fate of America has shifted from Tea Party meetings into actual legislative centers where Tea Party members are now holding some of those seats and the Trump agenda is cascading down from the Executive Branch and is providing for the first time in American history a truly global approach that is favorable to the Tea Party movement, fiscal responsibility, open markets, and limited government. North Korea is actually considering joining South Korea under a capitalist unification of that entire peninsula. The Deep State has been exposed, taxes have been lowered, unemployment is better than its been in half a century—we are winning, not losing and that requires a shift in approach that many are finding difficult.

This paradox can be seen in other fields of endeavor, everything from business to sports, its fun for people to sit around and plan things, and to talk about how great this or that will be, but they secretly hope that someday never comes and that their plans never arrive to fruition because they are actually lonely people who find friends in rebellion, and the value of those exchanges come from the relationships that they build. That is clearly going on in the Tea Party movement where now that we are all on the winning side of things the pressure to perform is the first concern as the ideology of action now demands reality instead of speculation. The friendships formed in the back of the Tea Party rooms are now the leaders on the battlefield and our champions are people like Donald Trump who are draining that swamp with trade deals, a global conquest of communism, eliminating the Obama agenda, and the Clinton agenda, clearing the way for real reform at the state houses across the country, like the one in Ohio.

Those fights require the best of what we all bring to the table, but many people just aren’t ready to be on the winning team, because there were friends in the gentle rebellion of being a member of the oppressed sector of society—the people who knew better but were powerless to act. Now though, that power has been granted and they have been empowered to act and are expected to act—now is the time to put guns on teachers to save kids from the menaces of our society, now is the time to put together a Tea Party house of representatives at both the local races and at the federal level. Now is the time to put FBI agents in jail, not to follow blindly their weaponized political activism. These are the days when many of us are part of the winning team, not the team standing in the rain feeling the sting of defeat from a scoreboard not in our favor with only a cold shower and the comfort of our friends to keep us from sobbing on the sidelines. We are now the ones winning and its about time to act that way.

You must always be cautious dear reader in separating the need for human companionship from the needs of a functional republic. It is tempting to create problems so that there is a reason to discuss some great tragedy over coffee and doughnuts with a new friend. The loneliness that many bright-eyed people who see the world with too much reality coming at them is often alleviated by the camaraderie of rebellion. But that was never what the Tea Party movement was about, it was not about making friends and being happy with inaction, it was to solve problems and educate more people so that they too could participate in a thriving republic. And that is where we are today. We are winning and this is what winning looks like. Nobody should be afraid of success, of losing friends gained in rebellion, or the warm covers of chaos that provides some story of illicit behavior which lures the ear of a friend over tea—we should always be about striving to win, and to conquer those who wish to oppress us. Whether that oppressor is a young terrorist attacking our schools for one last shot at immortality before they commit suicide, or some state representative trying to use chaos to climb their way into a power position by trying to hide their alligator swamp nature into that of a docile turtle, we must be keenly aware of our surroundings—and always strive to have victory, because winning is what we were always intended to achieve, and now we are. This is what it feels like, and its time to embrace it, not to hold on to the chaos of the past out of fear of what might come next on a path none of us have been on for a destiny being written by us, not some stuffy patrons of our past. History is happening now, and its important that we approach it boldly and without fear.

Glenn Beck Is Supporting Donald Trump: The nature of gangs and animals in America

It says a lot that Glenn Beck wore a “Make America Great Again” hat during his show on Friday, May 20th, 2018. He then went on to list the great accomplishments of Donald Trump shown below thus far in his presidency, which is really just getting started. If Donald Trump has won over Glenn Beck—which is probably more out of economic necessity than out of sentiment—then there are a lot more like him that are also coming over to the right side of things. Apparently for Beck it was the media reaction to the MS-13 issues where the president called the gang leaders in many American cities animals, that pushed him over the edge and into the Trump camp. Honestly after all that Beck has said about Donald Trump from the time of the primaries to the present, it caused me to no longer listen to Beck, let alone watch any of his programs. Prior to his hatred of Trump, and being one of the first Never Trumpers, I promoted Beck any way I could—especially his radio station, The Blaze. It was always on somewhere in my life, but I turned it off over two years ago now and dropped Beck in every way possible. So it was a little shocking to see him throw his support behind Donald Trump so honestly.

Welcome to the twisted world of liberalism where its like an Alice in Wonderland parody on everything. For instance, the May 17th 2018 Robin Hood event in New York City that tried to raise awareness for ways of fighting poverty, but in doing so it was largely liberals and progressives who were hosting the thing—which is to say that their solution to poverty is to use socialism to solve the problem. But logic says that socialism causes the problem. Socialism is what has put people on the streets and in need of homeless shelters. Some of those idiots who are poor were taught through socialism that somebody would always be there to give them something—and they were never taught that the path to success means you must work more than 40 hours a week at something—your whole life. Living in the lower middle class which we now call the working poor—according to the advocates for the Robin Hood charity in New York, the richest city in the world has it has 1.8 million people living in poverty. Yet if you talk to those people to discover why they are poor, it is because somewhere in their life they were taught they wouldn’t have to work more than 40 hours a week, or even less, to live—that someone would feed them, so thus, they are homeless or at the poverty level due to their beliefs. They could easily get out of poverty if they did as Oprah does—who is a big supporter of this Robin Hood group, and that is to work70 to 90 hours a week, like most successful people do.

The designation that members of MS-13 are not animals by the political left is just as perplexing. One thing that is hard for many people to admit is that left leaning monsters like the nice people at that Robin Hood event in New York dressed up with great opulence to convince people to donate money to the poor are really just another form of MS-13, a gang designed to muscle individuals towards the aims of a collective minority. Gangs and mobs are part of the liberal lifestyle and they are taught in school. That kid in Texas who shot up kids he didn’t like in his high school just a few weeks before graduation was a creation of the liberal left, where peer groups are formed to cast people into gangs—by design. MS-13 are made up of the leaders of the El Salvador revolution during the 1980s as they fled their country and hit the streets of Los Angeles as a bunch of marijuana users—literally. Over the years they spread to other American cities and began taking over as drug distributers and today they are into just about everything that crime syndicates are into. It doesn’t take much to learn that the liberal left wants these gangs terrorizing people in the poor communities they reside in, because it gives them an excuse to come up with more gangs to deal with the aftermath of the efforts.

The teacher’s unions are gangs who join together to extort the tax payers into giving them more money for doing a job that requires less than 40 hours a week of commitment if you average out their yearly investment into their professions. By massing together as a gang the government school teachers gain power and influence much the way MS-13 does and are the methods that the political left uses to stay in power over people. They use fear and anxiety to move people toward their needs, so it was a very personal thing to have Donald Trump call MS-13 gang members, animals—because people on the political left from the Robin Hood charity donors to school teachers all across America identify with those MS-13 animals intellectually. They all use the same methods of coercion to advance their liberal positions. So when a school shooting occurs like it did in Texas this past week at a small high school in Santa Fe the problem is the gun’s fault, not the person doing the shooting. In poverty, it is the fault of the United States for not giving more money to the poor, not the people who are too lazy to work more than 40 hours a week to pick themselves up and over the poverty line. And when it comes to gangs, they call them immigrants looking for opportunity in America when all they really are is considered dangerous terrorists who are killed on site in their native country of El Salvador, because they know the truth, that MS-13 members are dangerous animals who will kill innocent people as easily as most of us drink a glass of water. The political left wants all these gangs to spread fear through the weak and lazy so that they can have voters in fall elections—so that their gang can rule in Washington, as it has for so many years.

It was to leave that game in Washington D.C. that caused me to support Donald Trump from the beginning, and to turn off Glenn Beck. Beck was talking peace, and love when what was needed was to confront all these gangs directly and end the practice of mob rule in America in favor of America first policies that unite all people under the flag of the United States. Beck clearly didn’t see the potential behind Donald Trump, but now he does and like the rest of us has joined the correct fight. Many on Beck’s sentimental side of politics were willing to give the benefit of the doubt toward the realms of evil that we all deal with which breeds itself on the progressive side of politics. They didn’t understand that the key to beating all these gangs that have set up shop in the United States, from MS-13 to the teacher’s unions was to put a self-made billionaire in the Executive Branch who had lived the life of luxury for so long that he couldn’t be enamored by the power of gangs into making decisions which favored them in some way. Instead he calls them animals, which they are, and with that designation he is calling most on the political left the same, and they know it. So they distorted the truth to their favor and finally Glenn Beck had enough. The situation became clear as it is for so many others in America who had been willing to turn the other cheek so much that their heads were about to fall off from being slapped so many times. Enough is enough. It is good to see the good among us joining back together to fight the tyranny of group think—it has taken over out country for far too long and its about time to fight back to remove their influence from our lives—starting with the obvious, MS-13 and their animal behavior that is not conducive to a good life for anybody. From teacher unions to MS-13 all these gangs must go, and its about time for us all to admit that to ourselves.

Uber Elevate in West Chester, Ohio: Getting ready for the future, because its on our doorstep–all we have to do is open the door

Sign me up, Uber doesn’t even have to sell me on it. I have been all about skycars for over two decades now and understand that this form of transportation was always the key to our future as human beings—everywhere in the world. It is time for that great technical leap and I am prepared to do whatever needs to be done to bring a skyport to my town of West Chester, Ohio. Let me provide a situational necessity for why Uber Elevate is needed not just in my home city of Cincinnati, but in every city. Here is a problem I run in to several times a year, I have business guests from out-of-town. At the conclusion of our business day they go back to their hotel, usually a few miles down the road in the heart of West Chester, Ohio. Before they leave, I offer to take them to a Reds game, which they almost always accept, especially in the Diamond seats for the full Mercedes-Benz sponsored luxury experience. The game starts at 7:10 PM, but to take advantage of the dinner option, we need to arrive an hour early. Our business day ended at 5:30 PM but the relatively short drive from West Chester to downtown Cincinnati just to the south takes an hour due to the traffic congestion. That doesn’t leave my guests any time to change cloths and get ready, and still have time to get to the game without missing something. What I need in those situations is to go to a Uber Skyport over by the Top Golf complex with my three guests and fly down to the stadium landing at the Uber Skyport at the Banks. From there we would simply walk into the stadium and enjoy our game without any delays or traffic anxiety. And a successful day of business would be concluded in the most optimal way possible. After the game I would dial-up a Uber Elevate vehicle from my phone app which would be waiting on us at the skyport pad to take us all home. The reality of that experience is about five years away with a realistic projection date of 2023.

I watched the Uber Elevate presentation that they did this past week with great enthusiasm. When I saw that NASA was affiliated with their project I was even more impressed, finally after many years there was a viable plan to take transportation into the air where it belonged with a viable business model. Most of the technical problems have been worked out ironically with the toy drones that we can all get at Target or Wal-Mart. But these drones are just bigger and can hold passengers. The variable speed engines to provide the lift and computer-controlled adjustments that had to be made to deal with wind shears and other weather anomalies were present and it was now time to finally have an intelligent discussion about personal transportation by way of sky transport.

The Uber Elevate concept would need to be in high population areas to work well and my town of West Chester is just the perfect location for one of the opening cities. Already Uber Elevate is set to start operations in 2023 in the Dallas area and in Los Angeles. But quickly they will spread to other cities once public trust can be built with the new technology. With most of the current skycar designs there really isn’t any way that the vehicles will fall out of the sky. There are too many propellers on them to allow a vehicle to fall, the resistance of the air passing through the blades would have a kind of paper airplane effect in case of irreparable power failure. But that is a worse case scenario. In so many ways the Uber Elevate vehicles would be many times safer than a conventional car because it has upward mobility to keep it out of the trajectory of other vehicles. Riding in a Uber Elevate vehicle would be very comfortable and not violent in any way. It would be smooth and transitional from takeoff to destination landing. It would be no scarier than riding an elevator in a sky scrapper and looking out the windows once at the top levels.

Like it or not this is where transportation is going—its where it must go. There will always be a need for cars and large trucks will always be in demand to deliver goods and services. But for personal transportation from city to city or even across a large metropolis, the Uber Elevate is the best option there is. Getting from one end of Manhattan to the other is best achieved by flying over everything, not with an expensive taxi ride stuck in traffic every block of that big city. With Uber Elevate you would just walk to a building near Central Park and take the elevator up to the top floor where a Uber Elevate Skyport would be located and grab a transport to the financial district with a short five-minute flight over blocks and blocks of traffic. There is no infrastructure investment either at the ground level or underneath the city, everything would be vertical, which is the whole purpose of cities.

Even though part of the Uber Elevate presentation makes the assumption that cities will continue to grow vertically, such as in Mexico City, I can say that I don’t think people will be moving into cities—cities tend to expand outward as the tax problems of urban development pushes away wealth into the suburbs. That means that for people who work in the cities but live out in the suburbs the highway system just can’t deal with all the commerce, which is why it takes in Cincinnati an hour to drive down I-75 a mere 12 miles during rush hour. Getting to a Cincinnati Reds game from where I live is very difficult and in West Chester that is where so much business is done these days in the Cincinnati area. It’s not done downtown because it’s too difficult to get in and out of the city. But with Uber Elevate, much of that problem is solved. I can think of at least one downtown Cincinnati parking garage near City Hall just south of the Convention Center that would make a perfect Uber Elevate Skyport—and it would do big business in that location.

That means what is left to do to make all this happen is we need to get some money people together for the initial investment and we need to solve the political problems and all the regulations that currently stand in the way of making such a thing happen. The prototypes are already there and will be ready for flight by 2020. That only gives us three years to build the skyports and work out the navigational routes—for instance in the example I provided, buying the land and building skyports in both West Chester, Ohio and on the Banks in Cincinnati. Eventually of course within the subsequent years there would be hubs of skyports all around the I-275 loop, just as there would be in every big city that could transport people in and out of their cities easily and to all points around their metropolitan areas. Once that network was established then there would be city to city travel, such as from Cincinnati to Indianapolis, or Chicago to Detroit, Los Angeles to Las Vegas and so on. That is the way of the future and I am happy that we are now on the doorstep to it. Now all we have to do is open the door. I’m ready—are you?
