The Enemy

You have to understand that one of my good friends was just killed by a train in Texas. I’m still very twisted over the arrest of Roger Stone, the investigations of President Trump, and the obvious malice of the F.B.I. attempting to tilt the table in favor of Democrats during the 2016 election so regarding affairs of the “republic” I’m not in a very good mood. If it wasn’t so funny I would be even angrier over the proposed Green New Deal. I thought the old New Deal by FDR was one of the most destructive elements of a free thinking society and should have been eradicated long ago, yet here are political elements who want to go much further, so obviously its time to have a hard talk about when its time to have a real civil war again within the United States where violence is the only way to settle disputes, because the intellectual goals of the two sides are just too far apart. I think now is the time to do so, and I offer this article of opinion as a foundation for any legal issues that might take place later. Because personally speaking, I have reached my limit. I’m ready to defend the Constitution with force now, and that means that its time to define who the enemy is and understand why they are such. From now on I’m not going to rationalize how two sides can live together in debate as the republic was designed because the enemy as defined here doesn’t wish to have a discussion, or find truth in debate. They want to destroy us as Americans, and as men of family, and they don’t care who they have to hurt to get there which is why I now refer to them as “The Enemy.”

Many years ago when I first started this “blog” site I did so inspired by two of my favorite literary classics, The Federalist Papers and the Anti-Federalist Papers which were collections of essays written for newspaper publication around the time of the Federal Convention to hash out the details of what an American Constitution should be and what it should do to not only hold the country together, but still maintain the spirit of the Revolution so that individual rights could be maintained. It didn’t matter if the Constitution had been written now or 2000 years ago, what occurred in the newly formed United States which at the time was only 13 states was a giant leap in human thought, the idea of self-rule when for the entire known history of civilization people where always ruled by someone no matter where in the world someone may have traveled. Such a concept was worth the bloodshed of a future Civil War, the eradication of the Indian Nations, or any countries that might have tried to stand in the way, because the effort itself was captured during the formation of The United States and gave rise to a world power unlike anything that had ever occurred in all of history. And the philosophical foundations of this effort were captured in the debates of the Constitutional Conventions expressed in The Federalist Papers and The Anti-Federalist Papers. I devoured both as the Tea Party movement emerged in late 2008 and 2009 and found that I was much more of an Anti-Federalist than a Federalist and that for the coming decade I would offer my thoughts on these pages for others to consider in much the same fashion.

It was obvious to me that our modern society had declined to the point where intelligent debate was necessary, so I did my part and I hoped to inspire enough people to seek wisdom from debate to avoid violence. In that regard the modern Tea Party movement was very successful, the revolution was fought as it should be, through education followed by good elections. On the conservative side of things we rooted out the modern versions of Benedict Arnold, politicians like John Boehner and John Kasich from my home state of Ohio and we replaced them with the Republican Party of Donald Trump, which was very peaceful, lawful, and have launched the country into an era of prosperity that is unequivocal in our young country and have forced the world to look at themselves and make peaceful adjustments just to mitigate the risk of becoming globally irrelevant. Taking the long view, the Tea Party movement in the United States from 2009 to 2015 is the way that revolutions should take place, and it is certainly a testament to the strength of the American philosophy that was formed in The Federalist Papers and The Anti-Federalist Papers.

Nothing ever devastates me, I’ve been through everything and seen the worst that people can offer under the worst conditions. So when I found out about the death of my friend Doc Thompson I wouldn’t say that it changed my life or sent me into some shell of sadness. I accept tragedy as part of life and simply moved on to the next thing which for me was an oversea call with some important people. Later that evening after a 20-hour work day was completed I sorted out my thoughts on the matter and decided to re-read for probably the 25th to 26th time in a ten-year period The Anti-Federalist Papers, which took me about 11 hours stopping to eat twice. Doc Thompson I saw was a person who really believed in the American ideas created by the Constitution. As an authentic person it led to his eventual death, not by conspiracy as he was hit by a train, but by the fact that the world of media for which he wanted to work had closed its doors to him and his boss Glenn Beck and they were on the short end of a world that was changing by what I will call the Enemy for the sake of literary distinction.

The Enemy wanted to change the nature of the American Constitution and since Doc was a purist, he was on the outside looking in always trying hard to find a way to get his voice out to speak in favor of Constitutional principles. Unlike his friend Glenn Beck who had made a lot of money in his early Tea Party years at Fox News and was living well off it, Doc had never hit a substantial sum of money and was the living embodiment of what the Founding Fathers would have went through had America not prevailed during the Revolution, English society would have castigated them out of existence. But what occurred to me was that Doc wasn’t supposed to have those effects, none of us were. We had the Constitution and these modern efforts by the Enemy were not supposed to have the impact to our legal and moral system that they were. As I closed the book to The Anti-Federalist Papers for the latest time I realized that violence was inevitable in order to protect The Constitution that was born from that philosophic text written during that critical period of American contemplation.

One thing that really makes me sad however is that when reading those works, The Anti-Federalist Papers and The Federalist Papers it is clear that as a society people are not as intelligent as they once were, our education system has failed, our civilization under guidance of the Enemy has had a destructive influence over our children and neighbors and it really is a tragedy that must be rectified. The Enemy therefore doesn’t just deserve a day in court, they need to be eradicated from existence because they have shown themselves to be a menace. The Enemy are those who want to change the Constitution of America from a document that protects individual liberty to a means of empowering a larger central government to distribute collective salvation even to those who don’t deserve it. Through the actions of the enemy it naturally weakens the strength of The United States as the best light the world has to yearn for and is therefore up to malice that is not forgivable by civil discourse. So from that perspective the Enemy must be destroyed and removed from the political theater and the future of this site will make that case hopefully before bullets start flying. But likely the bullets will be discharged before all is well again because such a measure will be needed to protect the Constitution from domestic enemies who are trying to destroy us all by attacking the philosophic foundations of our very existence.

Richard Hardy’s ‘The Program Manager’: A book more about communism in the corporate world than business, but well worth the read

You have to understand, I read a lot. A whole lot. And if I could, I’d read even more. Every time we have one of these Holiday seasons and all the people I know send me texts and emails wishing me good tidings and my response back to them is usually short and to the point, it’s usually because I’m rushing back to a book. That’s not all I do of course, I live a very full life, but I think reading a lot and maintaining my rule of reading at least one book a week all weeks of the year is very important. Professionally I am a professional problem solver, and I don’t spend any time looking over my shoulder the way a lot of people do worrying about being knocked off the ladder of success because honestly the root source of my magic is my ability to read and communicate what I have learned. But to be honest, it takes a lot of work. I don’t think there is any book on this planet that can teach people to be successful if they are not willing to do a lot of hard work. I would say to anybody who fantasizes about being successful that unless you are willing to outwork the other person, you will likely always be second place in anything you do, or in a lot of cases, dead last. If you lack drive, curiosity and a quest for knowledge you will not have much of a life, and those are just cold hard facts. My habit is to look at reading as a daily exercise and I do it as much as I can, and the results always give me a competitive advantage not so much over other people, but in the circumstances of challenges that are presented to us all. I like having the answers to questions before they are even asked, so keeping a brain fed is the best way to achieve that function.

Being the Holiday season of Thanksgiving where generally there are four consecutive days off every year it is a time to catch up my ratio for the year and to stay on target, I needed to read seven more books to catch up to my 2018 targets. Some of the books I read in 2018 were big ones so it can sometimes take a week or two longer to read them, which throws off my target, which I always catch up on during the two Holidays at the end of the year. Over this particular Holiday weekend I was able to read four books, some of them 300 to 400 pages, some of them only about 150. And surprisingly it was that shorter book called The Program Manager written back in 1999 and self-published by Richard Hardy formerly of Boeing that I enjoyed the most. Usually books on business topics are boring and the fun of life is not present in them. But its important to suffer through them because always there are little nuggets of information that need polished a bit before you can use them, but are of great value nevertheless.

Much to my surprise Richard Hardy likely nearing retirement hit on a very slippery topic in his book on how to be a program manager, and that is to articulate how much communism is present in the modern world both politically and within corporate structures. It really too me by surprise, but as an older guy it is understandable. But I’m sure within Boeing there was a lot of consternation about his book coming out, even if it was self-published and a little rough on the grammar. The insights are quite good and as you’d expect from someone at the top of their particular field of endeavor. I look at those kinds of books as though you had the opportunity to meet someone and have them tell you their life story and you can extract from that whatever you want. The professionalism of the publishing profession is to put it as bluntly as Richard Haley did, filled with communists. Of course, nobody calls themselves that, and many of the publishers in New York and London think that term is rubbish. They call themselves progressives now, or “environmental activists” but that is only because they don’t know their history. For students of history, not the history they teach you in public education or in college, what is present in almost everything, especially in the corporate world, is varying degrees of communism that people have just accepted over the last 100 years. A book like Hardy’s The Program Manager would never be published professionally by a New York publisher. But sometimes it is those books that are the most valuable to read.

And while we are being blunt, most of the Lean activities that most company’s employ to attempt to mitigate that trend is to get communist thinking of group associations and power from above structures to become more holistic instead of siloed. Cuba for instance as a communist country was extremely siloed meaning they were never open to outside ideas, but only the ones flowed from the top down. Lean concepts are all about decentralizing those sentiments so that the point of emphasis is the health of the company everyone works with. Like most politicians’ power structures within an organization chart become their obsession and they constantly view their workers as middle-class citizens, or even worse, among the poor and they spend a lot of time thinking about that class structure when they should be thinking about running a business. I was curious what Richard Hardy who worked in the very stringent Boeing culture did to solve problems in that environment and was surprised to find him such an Ayn Rand fan, an individualist who understood the nature of all things. After reading his book I’m not surprised that he was so successful and sought after. But I was surprised to learn how consistent it was to my own personal thoughts on the matter.

And that is what reading can do for you, just when you think you know everything that there is to know, you find yourself surprised by something that should be obvious but isn’t. When it comes to business books, most of them are very dry and philosophically dormant. They talk about how to do something but don’t really get into why companies are siloed or how holistic thinking can be good and sustainable for continued profit growth and employee sustainability. But Richard Hardy made his point quite well protecting the names of his fellow workers at Boeing and replacing them with a metaphor of bulls protecting a herd as essentially being the primary objective of the program manager. Most of what he said in his book are things that are easily obtained in other books and college level courses, but in his case he was talking about the development of the Joint Strike Fighter well in advance of our modern times which I remember being a part of, so I had some context to his subject, then to read some of the behind the scenes decisions and the why and hows was quite a treat. It was a very nice surprise that doesn’t come along too often.

I don’t know how well the copies of it that are still out there will be. I bought one that was in good condition arrive, but as I flipped through it the pages were falling out from being dry rotted. I practically had to tape the thing together as I read it to keep the book intact. But if you can get your hands on one not so much for the task of business management, but for understanding how communism entered all our lives and tried to change the nature of American life so subtly and over such a long period of time, it is a very interesting read and well worth the time in doing it.

Why the World Needs a Space Force: Thinking back to the moon landing and the vile music festival of Woodstock


It is a little surprising that there is so much mockery toward the Trump administration over the new fifth branch of the armed forces they are proposing called the Space Force. We’ve known and talked about it for a long time on this site and many others that progressives are actually a regressive group of people who desire with everything in their being to follow the human trajectory of the Vico cycle and to return to a world of theocracy, as mankind has done over and over again throughout history for what looks like many hundreds of thousands of years. That is the nature of politics, to control mankind in a sort of passive role under the rule of our planet and its conditions. Modern progressives in order to sell their warped desire to control all human effort simply can’t have people leaving earth and settling in space because once that happens they lose power and influence over the direction of all achievement. Out the window go the carbon credits, the taxing of farts from people and animals, the emissions of cars and capitalism, and the development of suburbia. By moving into space and settling on massive space stations as exotic metal minors on the moon, around Venus and Mars, the moons of Jupiter the concern of over populating the earth goes away. Humans can have all the babies they want, they can even double or triple their intellectual power with the use of artificial intelligence, all the concerns of today regarding human influence over that goddess mother earth go away. So why are liberals so against Trump’s Space Force and why is it so mocked?

The Trump administration had a nice little fundraiser where they presented several concept drawings for the new Space Force and I picked the design that was mostly red that looked a lot like the NASA emblem. As I made the selection I was proud to do it because it felt like a step forward that should have happened many years ago. The point of a blog like this as opposed to writing for a magazine or a newspaper is that I can bring my personal experiences into focus to share with readers which makes it an unusual platform if you are the kind of person with a lot to say. That happens to be an excellent description for my particular lifestyle as I cover a lot of topics that I am personally interested in, and even professionally involved. I was born one year before the moon landing so I’ve watched this thing come and go in strange ways. I was in high school as the space shuttle program was the envy of the world and I watched three eight-year presidents reduce NASA to an Islamic study group prior to the Trump administration. I’m close to aerospace in many aspects, its something I’ve always enjoyed and wanted to help advance in any way possible because I see it as the next great frontier. As I share often my favorite period of American history was the westward expansion into the American west during the gold rush period which created massive wealth for a new nation and I see the space age as a new period with the same level of potential, actually proportionally greater.

Just this past week my wife and I got a call about a hot new condo property coming available at Cape Canaveral where our family has some vested interest in providing housing to the great engineers who come and go from assignments at the Cape. Business was good through the late 80s and 90s but dropped off considerably during the second term of the Bush administration and was utterly destroyed during the Obama years where that socialist president pointed NASA to Russia and told them that if they wanted to study space, then ride with the Russians. No more Space Shuttles, and nothing was coming after. Of course, from the investment side of things you can’t plop down a half million dollars on a condo that no engineers are going to use because there’s no work at the Cape. But for this latest proposal it looks attractive because Space X has moved in and is routinely firing off rockets into space putting a lot of people to work with their fabulous Falcon 9 which just launched again the other night. And with the Trump administration getting behind NASA once again, things are looking good again at the Kennedy Space Center, and they should always have. If America is going to climb out from under the massive debt that Trump inherited of over 20 trillion dollars that money has to come out of new markets and revenue streams. Space is where that revenue is at, and the United States needs to be in charge of it, for the sake of the entire world. Seeing the situation up close it has been sad, but now the entire market is looking better and the next great frontier is there for us to enjoy as the next great adventure.

Talking about the moon landing which occurred on July 20th 1969, I actually remember it. I was just over one year old. I have memories of it and before which is unusual, for being so young but it was hot. We didn’t have air conditioning and I was sweating but I remember the day being hot and very sunny outside and the sounds of the television as the radio broadcasts came back from the moon and my mom talking about what an important day it was. Then I remembered the news reports a month later coming from the music festival in Woodstock on August 15th. It was ugly to me, to see so many people stuck together in the mud of a field listing to music that I have never liked—depressing loser music. As I became older I was able to think about those two events often and came to understand them as two choices of American direction. Woodstock was the progressive answer to the moon landing. The stuffy engineers in their suit and ties at NASA versus the naked hippies and drug induced losers of Woodstock. One group was saying yes to new challenges of human endeavor, the other was saying no, let’s go back to being a tribe of hunter and gathers erecting rocks to the gods and having sex in front of each other covered in mud while our language is reduced to tribal chants. The same debate rages today, those descendants of Woodstock are now running universities, magazines and television stations and are the foundation of progressive politics while aerospace development has been continually ridiculed by them in what we call the Mainstream Media. Those same stuffy suits still desire to explore what’s beyond earth like a teenager wanting to move out of their parent’s house and start of life on their own.

By acknowledging a Space Force progressives know there will never be any going back because government in the context of American history never gets smaller, it only grows and if that growth is to encompass the level of personal freedom that conservatives demand, then the influence of American reach must grow to justify that potential. There is of course the addition of space tourism that is a market happening this year as well as many advanced satellites that are important to our culture that need protection, so a Space Force now only makes sense to meet the needs of a growing civilization. Yet people like Al Gore, and Michael Moore, and the greenie weenie Democrats truly do desire to turn off the minds of human beings with drug use, which is why they support the legalization of pot, and to have another music festival like a bunch of cannibals dancing around a rock in the mud praying to the gods to make it rain so that they can grow food. Today the god is no longer some Celtic tyrant, or Roman myth, but is the earth itself. But science says that the earth won’t be around much longer anyway. It’s only a matter of time before Yellowstone’s massive volcano erupts destroying much of North America, or something hits earth from space, or the sun grows to a size that eventually swallows our entire planet to a fiery cataclysm. The human race has a choice to survive and move into space to escape that fate, and we should take it. And we will need a Space Force to protect that advancement for the sake of our species. And I picked the red emblem as my vote for the patch that those new members of the military should wear while doing it.

Join the NRA and Defend your Country: Looks like Oliver North will be a good president

It’s always a good day when I open my mail box and in it is a new magazine from the NRA’s American Rifleman. There are a lot of publications out there hostile to the Second Amendment and the kind of traditional life in America that I respect and cherish, ownership of private property, strong families, a capitalist economy with upward mobility for anyone willing to work for it—but there are few like the American Rifleman which represent my values so honestly. With each new addition, I cherish it and usually I read Wayne LaPierre’s commentary in the opening pages as I walk down my driveway and back into my house. The one he wrote for June is just another fine example of why the NRA is so important to our culture with all the incursions against America that have been lining up for years, LaPierre’s article expressed quite well why the Second Amendment is so important by featuring the efforts by former U.S. Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens to encourage progressives to repeal the Second Amendment all together.

I haven’t been a big Oliver North fan over the years—to me he is too moderate, and military-minded for my liking, but I thought he did an excellent job on Chris Wallace’s Fox News Sunday show defending the NRA. That’s good because he’s set to become the new president of the NRA so I watched the interview carefully, knowing that Wallace would put the screws to North at every chance, and much to my surprise the upcoming NRA president was nicely aggressive and was pushing for even more members to join the organization. That was a very refreshing thing to see in a media environment that has assumed their trajectory of attack would put an end to the NRA forever. Considering that it wasn’t that long ago that Charlton Heston was the president of the NRA and that people like Clint Eastwood were open supporters, Hollywood has pushed all those types of actors out of their ranks leaving a tremendous void of charismatic personalities to advance the cause of the NRA to the next generation. I mean who would promote the NRA for the generation of millennials—Snoop Dog? He’s doing commercials on Fox News these days after all.

Governments are dangerous, probably the most dangerous aspects of any society. When they go bad, lots of people die and many more are left in conditions of existence that are less than respectable. Take a look at Venezuela for instance—a bus driver took over the government there and used socialism to enrich himself at the expense of the entire country, and now they have big problems. For certain kinds of aristocratic bureaucrats, it is their greatest fantasy to rule over other people from the power of government. They yearn for the kingdoms of Europe where gaining favor in the king’s courts would give power over the peasants and satisfy the egos of the corrupt. In those realms the rules were fairly easy to master—just learn whose ass you had to kiss and get to it. But America has rejected that entire premise and instead looked to self-rule to replace such a system where merit mattered more than the bloodline of your family. And that type of system unleashed the most powerful economies in the world by essentially cutting out the middleman of government.

But government is always a threat. It’s needed to some extent to organize the affairs of mankind, but they must always be watched over for impropriety which is all too tempting, and that is why we have the Second Amendment in America—as a protection against an out-of-control government as they typically evolve into threats against their own people. It doesn’t matter how educated the people of government become, the natural temptation to rule over other people and to abuse that relationship is all too powerful to resist for the types of people who are drawn to serve others. For instance, I’m the type of person who doesn’t care to know what my neighbors are doing, or even to know much about them. But people who tend to seek jobs in government are those types that are always looking out their windows and into what is going on with their neighbors, and they want to know every little bit of gossip that they can get to use in some fashion they can’t yet manage to their advantage to control the people around them. We call them “busy bodies” but the more technical term would be government bureaucrat and they come in all shapes, ages, sizes—and sexes.

We can now see quite clearly right under our noses that James Clapper, John Brennen and James Comey of the most top jobs of American intelligence were activists trying to tilt the nature of our 2016 election and when they were caught, tried to blame the Russians. They attempted to create the same kind of coup in America that the CIA might be blamed for in some third world country by deposing dictators or protecting them depending on the circumstances. They tampered with an American election and would have done much more if the lights of justice had not been shown on them after Donald Trump won the presidency. If not for that election it’s quite clear that America was on a path toward European progressivism for which we may never have been able to return from. Our American government obviously with the president of the United States looking over everything was trying to take over our nation away from the type of people who are current NRA members. While all that was going on Obama’s administration was sneaking money into Iran to prop up terrorist groups trying to advance Marxism across the world and was lying to the American people about all of it.

It is that very type of government that is now stating that the Second Amendment should be abolished, and that we should put our complete trust into them. No thanks. Right after the Chris Wallace interview on Fox News Sunday with Oliver North, Mark Kelley was up to provide a retort and it was he who shockingly stated that he was a gun owner but that he believed there should be legislation that directed all people owning guns to keep them in a safe locked up in their house. He called it common sense legislation, but it was obviously one step in the direction of complete Second Amendment repeal, because what he was proposing was that government further direct the behavior of its citizens within the four walls of their private property residence and keep their guns locked away or…………..else. The assumption is that if people violated the law their guns would be confiscated which is just another step in the direction of gun grabbers everywhere, to remove guns from society so that government can rule without concern of insurrections against it. That is the real issue behind all this talk of repeal.

Government is the problem, and ironically the public-school shootings are their fault as well for what they teach children and for keeping those areas gun free zones because of the government’s position on removing the Second Amendment from the Bill of Rights. If they did the right thing and arm teachers in these schools so that someone could shoot back when a student snaps and tries to kill all their class mates, the Second Amendment would be strengthened, which is not the goal of government. So they’d rather exploit the deaths of innocent children rather than try to save them because of government’s arrogant desire to rule all human beings from a position of strength. To do that they must remove guns from existence—which isn’t going to happen, but it’s what governs their behavior.

It is in these times that I am so grateful that there is an NRA because it’s very existence is preventing so much destruction. The legal battles we are currently involved in through the election process are much better than actual armed insurrection. But should they fail and all there is between us and complete tyrannical rule by corrupt governments, such as what we were experiencing under the extreme progressive activism of John Brennen and many others—is the gun. And we’ll need those guns if such a day comes. So long as we have those guns, it keeps those tyrants in their offices scheming. But it keeps them somewhere that we can watch them. Our memberships in the NRA provides that extra barrier between bullets flying and actual spilled blood—and I’m very glad it’s there for the safety of all.

Melania Trump’s “Be Best” Initiative: The secret to success is within us all–if only we think right about it

Even if she looked like an elephant’s ass, I would still think that Melania Trump is one of the most beautiful people on planet earth. Fortunately, she looks as wonderful as she acts from the inside out making her a striking personality and upon seeing her in person, I can report that the cameras don’t lie. In fact, they don’t do her justice. She is a truly beautiful person and the United States is excessively lucky to have her as a First Lady. I think she will go down in history as THE best with no close second, which says a lot, because there have been many great ones over the many years of our country’s existence. So I wouldn’t have expected anything less from her when she announced on May 7th 2018 her latest White House Initiative: “Be Best.”

I love the name for her initiative, “Be Best” which is rather all incumbent toward what is needed in our modern age. Everyone should wake up each day trying to be the best that they can be at whatever it is they are doing, especially children because the trajectory of their lives will follow the path of whatever it is they are thinking about, so they’ll always do themselves a huge favor by thinking the best of everything, no matter what it is. The program as Melania Trump has outlined it consists of three basic elements listed below:

WELL-BEING

By promoting values such as healthy living, encouragement, kindness, and respect, parents, teachers, and other adults can help prepare children for their futures. With those values as a solid foundation, children will be able to better deal with the evils of the opioid crisis and avoid negative social media interaction.

SOCIAL MEDIA

When children learn positive online behaviors early-on, social media can be used in productive ways and can affect positive change. Mrs. Trump believes that children should be both seen and heard, and it is our responsibility as adults to educate and reinforce to them that when they are using their voices—whether verbally or online—they must choose their words wisely and speak with respect and compassion.

OPIOID ABUSE

Opioid dependence, addiction, and abuse are an epidemic in this country. BE BEST will support the families and children affected by this crisis, bring attention to neonatal abstinence syndrome, and help educate parents on the importance of healthy pregnancies.

It was pretty disgusting given the positive nature of this presentation for many in the media to criticize Melania Trump for her accent and let’s not beat around the topic—because she is a gorgeous human being. In a world where we are not supposed to discriminate against other people for how they look or what sex they happen to be, we should never berate another person just because they are beautiful. Melania was mocked because the media believes that her husband President Trump is the ultimate cyber bully, but what they miss is that it was never he who initiated the fights. The real bullies are those on the political left who use all forms of media, especially social media, to bully people through threats and intimidation into following in behind their social constraints. What those who criticized this very beautiful First Lady for, this “Be Best” initiative, were really trying to do was force Melanie into hiding so she can’t do things like this from the platform of the White House. The political left doesn’t want anybody to “Be Best” they want mediocrity so that people always turn to government for their needs, which is their essential philosophical premise in everything they do. Donald Trump is not a bully, he is one who fights back, and his wife Melania is much the same, only she uses different tools to do so.

All three of the items she listed as part of her “Be Best” initiative are symptoms of poor left-leaning political philosophy, the bullying on social media coming straight from the peer pressure tactics children learn from their public educations. If people are off doing what they want, the public schools teach children to gang up on other children to push the rogues into a peer groups formed by the government school. That is the root cause of most bullying on any media format. Even the idea of well-being is a derivative of left leaning failure because that is something that everyone must work out for themselves, and if they are following an inauthentic existence not conducive to their personal initiatives they will not be well off emotionally. Those problems often lead to the opioid abuse problem that we currently have in America. When people desire to turn off their minds to the numbness provided by drugs there are intellectual failures going on that the body is seeking relief from. So while the three topics sound distinctly different, they are very interconnected problems given off as by-products of left-leaning political ideologies.

In many ways I think this “Be Best” initiative is more powerful than Nancy Reagan’s “Just Say No” campaign—because Melania is dealing with the basic essence of most of the problems young people face today. No kid wants to grow up to be “middle class,” or “poor.” They don’t want to think of themselves as blacks, whites, males or females, they just want to have a shot at the wildest dreams they can come up with as a result of their childhoods of playing. I make mention often of how the lights of children gradually go out the older they get. Before five years of age, most kids still have on those lights in their eyes that they can be anything they want in life so long as they can dream it. This is a very optimistic period in their lives. But due to our social failures in government education and our general failures as adults to adhere to a successful philosophy that leads by example healthy, and wealthy lives in America, children begin to lose hope with each year they come toward adulthood. To deal with that loss of hope they turn to peer groups and drugs to mitigate the losses they see coming at them faster than they are prepared to deal with such a crisis. The genius behind Melania’s proposal is that by taking the mind to the place of being the best at something, it puts the acquisition of dreams on a much higher priority list and even if young people fall short of their wildest fantasies, they often find that their lives are much better off as a result of their high objectives. When we have a society with such expectations, the net result is often a much-improved overall society.

It’s not enough to just say “No” to drugs. You must stop why people desire to do drugs in the first place, or that temptation to gang up on another child from within a peer group to push individuals into breaking down to the force of a mob and adhere to the values of a foreign entity just to survive the threats of physical and mental harm will continue to persist. What Trump has been doing is bullying the bullies, he has not been the villain. And Melania coming from a communist country as a little girl to end up in the White House gaining a platform to actually help people has done the most with her position in a positive way—and her efforts are beyond criticism. Nobody in their right mind could say anything negative about Melania Trump or her efforts at improving the world—unless they are part of the problem. And for those who stand against the “Be Best” initiative, they reveal themselves as the true villains of our national politics and have always been part of the problem for which we must now correct.

The Wonderful World of Winning: Eating at Chuy’s and the Democrats suing Trump, WikiLeaks, and the Russians

I had a wonderful lunch the other day at Chuy’s in West Chester, Ohio. It wasn’t my first visit to the popular Tex Mex dinning establishment but this one was better than other times I had been there. It was a business lunch and the subject of discussion was two of my favorite books of strategy, The Art of War by Sun Tzu and The Book of Five Rings by Miyamoto Musashi. Whenever I get a chance to talk about those books people are usually put on their heels a bit with my enthusiasm which is difficult to turn off once things start flowing. But this day was more unique on the subject of those two books simply because the discussion point was in how you can determine who on the other side of an objective is about to fail—which is clearly one of the primary ingredients needed in understanding proper strategy on anything. As I was talking about how you can know who is about to fail and when to pounce on their positions, I received the news that the Democratic Party had filed a lawsuit against President Trump for a conspiracy between the Russian government and WikiLeaks to rob Democrats of the 2016 presidential election. It was pretty stunning stuff, because it essentially announced to the world who knew how to read the tea leaves that the Democratic Party had just announced its end.

The Democrats have lost the news story of Russian collusion and many of their ranks are about to be pulled into the insane story about James Comey as that former FBI director continues to make an absolute ass of himself on his incriminating book tour. The Mueller investigation for Democrats has sputtered into a big nothing going further nowhere leaving a lot of money spent with nothing to show for it. Trump is having personal success in spite of all the mechanisms of power that have been thrown at him from FBI lying and spying to the entire entertainment industry coming after him. He is still bringing peace to North Korea, something that hasn’t happened in nearly seven decades by lots of supposedly smart people. Trump has accomplished the task in just a matter of months and that’s not all. He has been successful in Syria against Russia and continues to have success in the Middle East. The economy is doing well and the culture in America is changing for the better, and people are starting to feel it.

Fundraising is down for the Democrats and as they come to the primaries and the midterms that come after there just aren’t a lot of “blue” candidates who can win “red” seats in spite of all the Republicans who are retiring from Trump’s control over the GOP. The Democratic Party knows it has no other hope to win anything other than in scoring some major publicity victory which at this point isn’t going to happen. They have just announced that they are suing one of the most sued people in American history—in Donald Trump. If anybody knows how to handle the rigors of court drama its Trump. Trump’s legal team can now counter a lawsuit and depose evidence that the Democrats have long sought to hide, like the DNC server, because you can’t prove anything was hacked without presenting the evidence—and that evidence for the Democrats is very damning and is what got all of them into trouble in the first place.

The entire case that the Democrats are presenting is based on an early 2016 press conference that Trump had where he jokingly asked the Russians to produce Hillary Clinton’s delated emails that she had destroyed obviously to hide crimes she had committed as Secretary of State when she set up her private server to conduct her electronic communications. As a public servant she wasn’t allowed to do that. She ignored the rules and thought she was going to get away with running for another public office when she obviously disregarded the rules of conduct prior to that attempt. It has been amazing to listen to James Comey talk during his book tour because as the head of the FBI it would seem that he’d have better knowledge of how the rest of the country thinks, but what we’ve learned is that he is just a beltway liberal who has very activist objectives. He’s a lot like Hillary Clinton in that he thinks he’s entitled to things, just as she thought she was entitled to the presidency—her lifelong goal as a meal ticket of womanhood. When reality didn’t match up to their expectations they flubbed up—Comey in trying to hide his activism as the head of the FBI, and Clinton in operating her campaign in illegal ways trusting that people like James Comey would run cover for her, and that nobody would challenge them. Trump simply threw the issue on the table joking about Russians which exposed the Clinton campaign and really put pressure on the FBI investigation into her activity as a candidate. Trump had forced both the FBI and the Clinton campaign into a series of mistakes that culminated into an early July 2016 blunder by the FBI once Loretta Lynch had met with former President Clinton to work out a deal to keep Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign alive even though there was a “there” there.

One thing I really like about Chuy’s, as a restaurant experience is that it looks crazy as a fusion mix of Texas enormity and Mexican chaos. Mexican culture is a mash up of Aztecan heritage, Spanish Catholicism and the mixing of two radical cultures into one impoverished Marxist enterprise—color pallets that don’t go together, hubcaps on the ceiling, exotic tropical resorts which give the country some forms of legitimate business to front for all their illegal drug activity. Yet the food underneath all the colorful forms of chaos is all very fresh and you can trust that everything you are eating is nearly right off the farm quality. There’s a lot going on at Chuy’s which I find very stimulating. Not because I like crazy, but that it is metaphorically pleasing to me to immerse myself in those types of environments because they are emblematic toward the many layers of life that is in our present society. On the surface the things we see clash and meet in ways that seem disconnected, but under all those layers is high quality and competency.

Once you understand the chaos on a story like the Hillary Clinton case, you can enjoy the quality that is behind an endeavor, and that was the reason I knew that the Democrats were in serious trouble, which I had been predicting for a long time. As I was eating at Chey’s with some business friends talking about the long history of samurai warfare and the ability to understand victory long before anybody else could—it was obvious that President Trump had punched through into a new good place for the country. And the Democrats had sealed their own fate with that announced lawsuit. For the Democrats, their much-coveted Mueller investigation was imploding and the waters of the swamp had dropped several feet unmasking lots of slimy creatures who had been hiding just under the surface. As I ate my tortillas on a fine spring day in April, I could smell victory for the Republicans in the air and the wonderful understanding what winning for America feels like once again. And it was a grand sensation.

The Crime of the West Virginia Teacher Strike: Its time to replace radical school employees with Alexa

What a disaster that was in West Virginia. The teacher’s union strike that went on for 9 days as public employees used children to extort for themselves higher wages showed precisely why the Supreme Count is poised to outlaw public sector unions to begin with. The deal struck with the West Virginia governor is to give every public employee 5% in raises every year from here on which is a completely destructive approach to managing tax payer money. What the government of West Virginia signed up for are huge increases in pay for all their public employees that take no consideration into changing economic circumstances which essentially paint themselves into a long-term corner for which there will be no escape. The public-sector unions did the reprehensible, they shut down the productive tasks they were supposed to be commissioned to perform to demand out of tax payers a bottomless pit of income that essentially comes from every tax payer their system touches.

But what was the rush? The union radicles will say that their main issue is that they have poor insurance coverage but what they are clamoring for is something that doesn’t exist for people outside the public sector either. Insurance coverage in general is in a state of change and market forces are polished off and reintroduced to the process. What’s unusual in West Virginia is that the unions do not have collective bargaining power. Average wages for a West Virginia teacher are around $45,000 per year. With their sudden 5 percent increase that is several thousands of additional dollars per year for as long as they are employed, which is a lot of money. To many people that might seem like a lot, but public-sector employees complain about such high rates because they are comparing them to other places around the country—like across the border where average rates are about the same in Ohio, but in districts like mine at Lakota the average pay is much higher.

Really what should have happened was that every teacher who walked out and participated in the strike should have been terminated. Every public employee who helped with this mess should also be terminated, including the police. But in this case the employees felt they were in a do or die situation and their strongest position was now to take action so enough of them walked off the job across the state to shut down every school leaving kids stuck at home using them as bargaining chips to essentially extort more money away from the public trust. Because of the large increase that they received, school managements across the country will see more of this behavior in the coming months so a plan needs to be in place to deal with it.

The real pressure to act now is the knowledge that the Supreme Court is about to release a decision on public sector unions by June, and it looks like the strength of those organizations will decrease tremendously. That made West Virginia a strategic hot spot for a strike to attempt to get other unions to follow as a final protest hoping to rock the vote at the Supreme Court with this ominous warning. Since West Virginia didn’t have collective bargaining power what good would the upcoming Supreme Court ruling have to prevent similar strikes in the future? The leverage the unions wanted to put on display was that there simply wasn’t enough replacement teachers available to step into the classroom to cover for these striking teachers which is why West Virginia government buckled in just 9 days to the demands of their public-sector insurgents.

It will take time even assuming that the Supreme Court outlaws public union’s power to extort money from coerced membership, for the culture to change. Many of these striking employees don’t see themselves as radical insurgents, but as a culture they behave that way because teachers as a profession have been molded as progressive instructors so they don’t see any reason not to use children as bargaining chips for their own gains. That means that the profession of teaching needs to change into something else while these old relics are phased out and new, fresh thoughts can be introduced. States are going to have to prepare for massive walk offs from the teaching profession by these trained radicals. The West Virginia teachers knew that the vacancies for new teachers were low so what did they have to lose in walking off the job? Nothing. There just aren’t enough potential employees to threaten their employment with.

The way to break a strike is to replace the workers striking with new employees. When those employee positions are all getting their money from the same source—the tax payer—it gives them leverage for a walk off. The way to beat that is to decentralize those efforts into a more privatized endeavor. There should always be a certain percentage of non-union employees in schools ready to take over if the unionized teachers walk off the job to protest some turtle crossing—the business of teaching should never stop. And we do live in an age where teachers could be replaced by machines. And automated teaching system should be utilized in case a physical teacher isn’t in the classroom. If teachers refuse to work, then something like Amazon’s Echo or Google’s Home should be put into each classroom to replace those teachers while the non-union staff of administrators ensure that business as usual continues.

In a lot of ways, I think Amazon’s Echo is far superior to an average teacher in the classroom. Some teachers are exceptional, and I think those are people who wouldn’t chose to be protesting at a statehouse for higher wages anyway—they are probably worth whatever money we pay them. But for some slug like many of those teachers protesting in West Virginia I would encourage those school districts suffering to replace them with their own Alexa. If you know anything about those systems they are much better than a real teacher, and far cheaper. They can answer questions, provide scheduled assignments and collect information. They can even provide lectures for topics that are needed. If public schools utilized this technology better they wouldn’t be in such bad positions to waiting for teachers to fill their needed positions. With the economy producing such low unemployment anyway, the traditional way of staffing so many positions with live people really isn’t practical, especially if they are only going to go on strike anyway knowing that there isn’t a deep bench to replace them if they decide to walk off the job for 9 days demanding a pay increase. The great thing about Alexa is that it doesn’t have legs and will never run out of energy. It doesn’t take coffer breaks or bitch about their pay. They don’t eat and smell like coffee and decaying teeth when you ask them a question. In a lot of ways, I think they should be the future of teaching.

Since the teaching profession is changing anyway—as the Supreme Court will eventually mandate, we might as well come up with a plan to deal with the really good problems that we are facing. If there is a teacher shortage and the ones we do have want too much money and expect these extravagant insurance plans, let’s just use Alexa to teach classrooms. We don’t have to pay them insurance, heck, they don’t ever get sick and they do essentially the same thing. So what are we waiting for?

Guns Are What Make America Great: Coming to terms with reality

In the wake of the mass shooting in South Florida which occurred in February of 2018 we need to make some basic things clear as a foundational argument. I agree, we should change gun laws so that we don’t have more violence in our schools by disturbed people. But the solution isn’t feel good gun laws which provide a false security blanket over the eyes of our most liberal American citizens who are suffering from their own psychosis indicated by their political affiliation. Their view is similar to a child pulling their bed covers over their eyes to avoid being eaten by a monster that lives under their bed. If the monster wants to eat children, a flimsy layer of covers won’t stop the violence from happening. It only covers the eyes of the victim from the possibility, and that is all liberals want to do in the wake of gun violence. They want to cover their eyes to the real problem and hope that it doesn’t happen again. This is a typical liberal approach to just about everything and it stands against the basic nature of what America is all about.

America is a lot of things, it’s a nation of immigrants, it’s a nation of capitalism and private property. There is a big reason that Siberia takes up approximately 10% of the earth’s landmass yet it as the economic development of a kid’s lemonade stand whereas the vast expanses of land in America known as the West has at least a McDonald’s every thirty miles in every direction—and that is because of private property ownership and incentives which are fundamentally protected by personal firearm possession—a decentralized element which allows such vast expanses of land to be developed for the enterprises of human thought. No matter where you go and what you do in America it is the right to personal firearms which defines our nation under a common thread of philosophy. We are a nation built on guns and of course America’s enemies understand that. If they want gun control, they essentially want to change the nature of America from what it is to what it isn’t.

When you visit England, what do you think of as their cultural heritage—tea? Ships? Monarchy? What about Germany—what do you think about in regard to their culture, beer, pretzels, Hitler? Japan—samurai swords and sushi? How about Spain, bullfights and cheesy men who want to sleep with our wives? Every nation has their thing which defines their culture, and in America it is the gun. Guns are what binds all Americans together, young and old, rich and poor, man and woman, black and white—no matter who, what, where, and how, guns are what define our nation and always have from the very beginning of revolution to the westward expansion. Guns made our nation and to this very day are important parts of our culture.

It was my wife’s birthday over the weekend and we went to LaRosa’s by our home to celebrate it. It was a Saturday night and we were talking about militarizing public schools with metal detectors and military personnel to prevent school shootings in the future. I explained to my family that within LaRosa’s that night there was a crowded dining room and among the occupants I estimated that there were at least five to six concealed carry holders there. If a terrorist of some kind were to barge in and try to shoot the place up, they would be engaged promptly by the concealed carry holders. Some people may be injured, but the aggressor would not have his way with the public. He would be shot dead, maybe worse. And the same could be said of every place containing people all across the country. The reason there is peace and stability in America with so much money floating around in a free society is because so many people are carrying guns, bad guys never know who is or isn’t and it forces them to behave themselves.

Liberal people do not understand human nature, it is part of their personal psychosis which has contributed to their intellectual deficiency leading to their liberal attributes to begin with. I can sympathize that they are too soft natured to want to handle a gun, or that they have hope that humanity can be trained away from violence and the desire to take what other people have. I can also see how they might be seduced by the work of Karl Marx and to just make everyone equal, give all the private property to the State and eradicate guns from our lives so that we can live in a utopia. Being people who aren’t prepared to deal with reality, such things may seem appealing. But history says what you get is not a great world of philosophic understanding, you essentially get Siberia, a vast wilderness of little economic activity because nobody really owns anything and there is nothing to protect if they did. Earth first advocates and environmentalists might find that idea appealing too, because they see the human race as inferior to planet earth and would like to see people removed from climate influence. Again, we aren’t dealing with irrational people when we talk about the political left. They are people often suffering from various degrees of mental illness so they aren’t prepared to talk about guns—only that they think civilization should not have them.

But look at the human condition and the way its evolved. Look at the toy aisle in Wal-Mart or Target where superhero action figures occupy one entire section, and each action figure has some kind of gun so that kids can go home and play with them. Go another aisle over and there are Lego sets with the same kind of message. Go another aisle over again and there are the Nerf guns which allow kids to shoot at each other harmlessly—for the sport of it. Go to the video game section and you’ll see that most of the top-selling games are first person shooters like Battlefront, Call of Duty and Doom—where guns are the feature attraction of the whole experience. Then go to the television section and see what they are playing on the demo screens—action movies filled with guns. Americans love guns—they love them deeply. Guns are so much a part of American culture that many don’t realize just how much. And that’s not going to change. We aren’t going to see a liberal push away from guns, I think the next generation because of their video game exposure and other modes of entertainment will be more pro-gun than ever. What they lack is parental guidance, which makes them more dangerous, but the love of guns is still there—probably stronger than ever.

I went to GameStop to do a little shopping for some fun stuff and I was met at the counter by a really scary looking young lady covered in tattoos and body piercings. She had blue hair and looked like she was the lead singer of a punk rock band. But I had a question about the release date of the new game coming out this fall called Red Dead Redemption 2, which is a western video game. You might recall that I thought Red Dead Redemption way back in 2010 was the best western I had ever been exposed to, so I am looking forward to the sequel. Well, this girl became very emotional with excitement. She wouldn’t stop talking about how excited she was to finally play this new game which had been delayed for three years, and was finally going to hit the shelves in just a few months. The game is all about shooting other players, and has typical western themes and obviously to this clerk, she was very excited about it. If the game was all about bagging groceries do you think she’d be so excited? Of course not.

I lived a normal childhood, one that is very close to what we watch at the end of every year with A Christmas Story. The right of passage back then as it still should be was that we get a toy gun from our fathers and grandfathers before we are five. When we are six to eight, we get our first Red Ryder BB gun. They sell those at Wal-Mart too, not because the retailer is psycho about guns, but because that’s what customers want. They even come in a pink version for girls these days because getting your first gun for a kid is a big step into adulthood. By the time kids are 12 to 16 they should get their first 22 rifle. And of course, the initiation into adulthood is that a 21-year-old can purchase an AR-15, a Glock, or even their first 12 gage shotgun. Speaking personally, it was one of the proudest days of my life when I bought my Smith & Wesson .500 Magnum. I don’t go out and shoot people up with it, in fact it never crosses my mind in daily thinking about it. But if I wanted to I could disable a car with it, and that is great to know for self-defense. Knowing that I don’t have to worry about somebody coming and taking away my private property allows my mind to think about other kinds of things which contributes mightily toward the “invisible hand” of Adam Smith’s capitalism. The right to have a gun to protect yourself from villainy is the best deterrent of those villains from taking action in the first place.

Our gun laws should be changed from being too strict to having them be a lot looser. Schools should not be gun free zones. If teachers and administrators were allowed to carry, then they wouldn’t be sitting ducks when some aggressor does show up to get revenge on former students they are having problems with. I don’t think we should have gun free zones anywhere, in any business, any school, or any government building. Guns are a tremendous part of our natural American heritage and its time we embrace that aspect of ourselves instead of letting timid liberals define our culture based on their personal insecurities. If there had been concealed carry holders at any of these school shootings over the last couple of years, or even in Vegas during that concert tragedy, there would be a lot less carnage. Likely, we wouldn’t have even witnessed the attempt because the villains would understand that their chances for glory would be greatly minimized by the concealed carry holder. The answer to gun control is to have more guns not less and to loosen up possession not to further restrict it.

As we’ve seen in the FBI just this year, we can’t trust law enforcement fully to do their jobs. That’s not going to change tomorrow, police are people just as anybody is, and if they get caught looking at dirty pictures on the internet while sitting on the side of the road trying to nail speeders, and they miss a big occurrence because of it, an apology later won’t bring back our loved ones. Courts are slow, police are slower, and the FBI is about as incompetent of a police force that I’ve ever even considered. I wouldn’t trust them with a bag of groceries, let alone the life of someone I care about. But I do trust people who obtain concealed carry permits. Why, because they have a personal incentive to protect themselves and the people around them. The same reason I trust people driving in a car coming from the opposite direction from coming over into my lane and hitting me head-on. Sure, it does happen, but not enough to keep me from driving a car. People with guns are safer to be around than people who don’t have them—and that is a unique attribute to being an American that we all share. If there is one thing that symbolizes American life, it is the gun. The gun is the secret to our success and the way to embrace that is with lesser rules, not more. That is the only way forward and the sooner everyone realizes that, the better.

Jim Renacci is Running for Brown’s Ohio Senate Seat: A good strategic move that will solidify the Trump agenda

I’m a little disappointed that Jim Renacci is now planning to run against Sharrod Brown’s Senate seat instead of becoming governor of Ohio. Jim is the ideal person to be Ohio’s next governor, but I completely understand the White House’s strategy of wanting Jim to take a much-needed Senate seat to support the Trump agenda. I also understand attacking a very progressive senator in Sharrod Brown wherever possible around the country. The fact that the White House is strategizing to this level is very exciting. They aren’t going to just sit around and be hopeless victims for a change, we finally have a White House with a conservative agenda that is taking the fight to the enemy. And let’s face it, the Democrats are the enemy. Here is how it was reported by USA Today hours before Jim Renacci made the announcement official.

WASHINGTON — U.S. Rep. Jim Renacci plans to run for U.S. Senate after President Trump’s political team urged the Republican to do so.

That means Renacci will jump out of the Ohio governor’s race, according to Republicans with knowledge of the decision. An announcement is expected Thursday morning.

White House political staff sat down with Renacci on Wednesday and encouraged him to run for the Senate. They cited Renacci’s support for Trump’s initiatives in Congress and their desire to have another GOP vote in the Senate, a person close to the White House told The Cincinnati Enquirer.

Even though it defies conventional strategies, where we should support good people at the local level for positions to reform all government, I see the national and international strategies of the Trump administration to be more important. This current White House is the “change agent” type of shift to a more Adam Smith oriented government specifically built on the great work of economic philosophy, The Wealth of Nations, that our nation has needed for over 200 years. In my view being a Ohio governor is kind of a flunky job, so I haven’t been that excited about Jim Renacci running for it. I like to see people like Jim taking those seats, but what’s more important is that there are enough House seats and Senate seats supporting the Trump agenda because those efforts will change the culture at the local level of government with examples of success. With all the problems we have in the world, Jim is needed where he can help most. It doesn’t do much good to solve Ohio’s problems if Democrats don’t support the deregulation that Trump is instituting, and helping with the complicated problems that must be dealt with over the coming 7 years. I have no doubt that Jim would be great for Ohio as governor. But any flunky can sit in that seat, look at John Kasich. The real battle is in Washington these days and that fight must be won so that local seats can bloom under capitalism at the local level.

Dear Friends,

As many of you know, after spending most of my career in the business world, a few years ago I chose to run for Congress because I was deeply concerned over the direction of our country and its lack of accountable leadership in Washington.

Having grown up on the cusp of poverty in western Pennsylvania, and later dedicated myself to raising a family and growing businesses across Ohio, entering the political arena was never part of the path that I envisioned for my life. However, it was sense of duty to restoring effective, conservative leadership to government that drove me into national politics in the first place—and it’s that sense of duty that has guided my approach towards public service ever since.

And as many of you also know, several months ago, after witnessing years of dysfunction in Washington, I announced my intention to leave the House of Representatives to run for Governor Ohio. Yet, while I believe as firmly today as I did then that my decades of experience in the business world would deliver needed stewardship to our state, true leadership requires a willingness to always put country first and answer a call to action in service to the nation.

Earlier this week I was asked to attend a meeting at the White House, at which I was asked to help protect the future of President Trump’s agenda by entering Ohio’s 2018 race for the United States Senate. While my strong distaste for Washington and the political establishment is as fervent as ever, so too is my commitment to advancing the President’s agenda for a stronger and more prosperous America. And for that reason I’ve agreed to answer the call to service and enter the race for United States Senate. The drive to change the status quo is stronger than ever and I couldn’t be more grateful for the support I have received from Amy Murray, who served as the Lieutenant Governor candidate on our ticket, and who will now serve as the statewide Chair of my campaign for the United States Senate.

Over the coming weeks and months ahead I look forward to offering Ohioans a clear alternative to far left, career politician Sherrod Brown and earning the support of voters in every corner our state. It will be a true honor to serve as your next United States Senator.

Sharrod Brown is a major left winged progressive and it would be wonderful to switch his seat from a Democrat to Republican. It shows a lot of savvy for the Trump administration to recognize that Jim Renacci is the kind of Senator who could protect all the great work that the President is doing so I think this is a great move once the information is considered. Besides, there are other very good people who can run for governor of Ohio, who can do a much better job than John Kasich. Heck, I have a dog that can’t stay out of the cat’s litter box that could do a better job than Kasich—as far as having a conservative in the role of Ohio governor. I happen to know of a very good person who plans to run for governor soon, so the good work in Ohio will get done. But in 2018 the real fight is in Washington, that is the battlefield of our concern and the more progressives that are destroyed in that fight—the better. Sharrod Brown is a big one, and he needs a good fight by someone like Jim to knock him off in the northern part of the state. Needless to say, I support Jim Renacci in his objectives. I’d support Jim in anything he does, but I am very happy about this decision strategically to do the harder thing than the easier one. The Senate seat in this case is far more important than a token governor in the state of Ohio.
