The Problem in Puerto Rico: No monster trucks or bass boats there to save Democrats

 

I’m all for making Puerto Rico the 51st state, but as we’ve talked about here on several occasions, their $73 billion dollars of debt that have bankrupted that very small United States territory of only 3 million people was a major problem before Hurricane Maria destroyed the island as a catastrophic category 4 storm.  It was the third major hurricane to hit the United States just in 2017.  Previously all of Florida had been hit by a major storm, and before that Texas.  Trump dealt with both of those crises so well that the hungry media looking for criticism had nothing to say in both cases, even though the personal damage was in many cases much more extensive in dollar value. But when Puerto Rico happened something was very different.  The reason for the mountainous debt, and the cause of so much devastation was that the island was ran by Democrats and they were ill prepared for the disaster—as they always are.  Trump’s FEMA supplies came to the San Juan docks but there was nobody there to take the supplies inland causing the media to criticize the federal efforts.  But behind their criticisms were something else, a fear they wished to hide from the public about the politics of the situation and it is quite telling to explore the cause of that fear.

I’ve done hurricane relief before.  I remember very well how bad Hurricane Fran was when it hit Chapel Hill, North Carolina as a category 3 storm an hour inland from the coast.  The power was knocked out for two weeks and I was one of the guys there pulling trees off the homes and it was a real struggle just working in that environment let alone being a resident living in the heavy humidity trying to get insurance adjusters to come and give them back some normalcy to their lives.  The National Guard had to clear the highways so that those insurance adjusters could even get to town, and then the wait was extreme as everyone had something to put on a claim.  You learn really quick all the things we normally take for granted like running water, air conditioning, refrigeration—and an open and well stocked grocery story.   Maybe one of the weirdest things I’ve ever seen in my life was a grocery superstore completely empty because everyone had ransacked it and it hadn’t been restocked for weeks because delivery trucks couldn’t get to it.   And this was in a very conservative area where people were pretty smart, generally, and there weren’t a lot of people living off the federal government.  Many of the people I was dealing with lived in nice homes and had good jobs at either NCU or Duke University across town—so at least there was money as a foundation to all the misery.  It was a mess, and that was the United States mainland where military bases and a very advanced highway structure were there to provide the quickest relief possible.

Of course Puerto Rico is a different story, it’s an island to the southeast of Cuba so it’s not connected to the United States mainland in any way, nor is it even close. It’s nearly as remote as a territory as Hawaii or Guam is.  Getting to Puerto Rico isn’t easy under the most optimal conditions, let alone when all the infrastructure was wiped away by a major hurricane that touched 100% of the island.   Being so far in debt the power grid was in a poor state to begin with and the people living there had very little money.  Most of their homes were disgraceful places just a few steps out of a third world country.  The Democrat governor, Ricardo Antonio Rosselló Nevares is a member of the New Progressive Party—which is just another name for Communist Party USA and points directly to why Puerto Rico had a debt problem to begin with.  The Governor seems like a pretty decent human being, but his politics are horrendously misguided—so he wasn’t prepared for a storm that completely destroyed the island leaving the 3 million residence completely vulnerable.  Then to make matters worse the mayor of San Juan, where the major port is located to get supplies to people inland was ran by Carmen Yulín Cruz Soto—an even bigger liberal than the governor.  Between them they had no plan of action or understanding of basic management skills which left them to not only ask for federal help by way of supplies like FEMA had conducted in Florida and Texas recently.  But they were asking for the infrastructure to deliver them as well—a considerably more difficult proposal given the remoteness of Puerto Rico.

With Texas and Florida being Republican lead states with governors who knew what they were doing federal help was able to bring in supplies and from there plenty of self-sufficient volunteers used their monster trucks and fishing boats to get those supplies to the people who needed them until the basic necessities of life could be somewhat resumed.  It will take many years to even hope to return to normalcy, but few people died and the people in those regions got back on their feet quickly.  They were success stories defying the tragedy due to the inherit self-reliance of the people most affected.  The people in those places were conservative minded which is how Republican governors were elected in those states to begin with.  Not so in Puerto Rico where I think the only Republican on the island will be President Trump when he visits to examine the extensive damage for himself.  In Puerto Rico the people who elected the progressive Democrats into office think much differently than those people in Texas and Florida.  They had no boats or monster trucks to help with the volunteer effort.  They were mostly poor people made worse by their addiction to government services and socialist local management of resources.  The people there didn’t rally to solve their problem, they sat on their porches waiting for someone to turn their power back on, and to bring them food and water.  The supplies were in the port at San Juan to distribute inland, but there was no effort to take those supplies to the people who needed them because nobody thought to do it for themselves—hence their tendency to vote for Democrats in office and to be poor, and in perpetual debt.

And that’s why the Democrats around the country are attacking Trump so viciously, because they have to hide the big difference in why Puerto Rico is so dissimilar from the major disasters that crippled Texas and Florida just weeks before.  Everyone can tell for themselves how differently the Puerto Ricans reacted to a major tragedy compared to the bass boats and monster trucks in Houston who fought bravely to restore order to their communities.  Liberals know what the problem is and they can’t let that become the story so they are attacking the Trump administration for essentially the same things they attacked President Bush for after Katrina wiped out New Orleans. But the problem was never the reaction of the Republican presidents; it was the type of people who were inflicted.  In Republican run states where the political bases were much more self-reliant the federal government and the people worked well together to manage the crises.  But in Democrat lead areas where liberal mayors and governors were in charge, everything was a disaster.  The FEMA people could bring the supplies, but the locals expected those supplies to literally be poured down their mouths because intellectually they are a too depended on government services to think for themselves.  That’s generally why they were poor to begin with.  Being poor isn’t just something that happens, it reflects the way people manage their lives.  Hard working people tend to have jobs and therefore money to work with.  They may even have a nice bass boat in their driveway to use if they find themselves flooded out. But poor people are usually those who are apathetic and always looking to do the minimum in life—which is why they don’t have many resources to work with when something bad happens. Puerto Rico had a lot of poor people by its demographic nature which is why they’re in terrible debt to begin with.

Trump’s tough talk about Puerto Rico is perfectly justified.  The federal government can’t just come along and bail them out of the $73 billion dollars in debt then pay for the complete rebuilding of the entire island.  The people there are going to have to change fundamentally into a more conservative base of philosophy otherwise they’ll be in trouble again during the next crises and they won’t bring anything to the table as an American state. The way to get Puerto Rico back on its feet is to create some free enterprise zones to make the island attractive to some of the high-tech businesses that are emerging in the new Trump economy—so that the place can become something like a new Silicone Valley.  But the nature of the people must change because even if Trump brings jobs back to Puerto Rico someone has to actually deliver on the effort.  They can’t sit in the port at San Juan and wait for someone to unload them.  Puerto Ricans need to learn from these crises and change their ways.  They must learn to help themselves—and to stop electing Democrats to run things so that prosperity can actually take root.  Democrats hope that nobody notices their failures in Puerto Rico and that they can hide their mistakes behind the other storms of the year and build a case that racism is somehow the problem.  But it’s not, the biggest difference is that Democrats are idiots who don’t understand basic economics and when pressed in life they always buckle—because their basic foundations of thought doesn’t prepare them for reality–leaving them always in need of a subsidy to fuel their political thoughts which have foundations of moral bankruptcy.  They only know how to just consume the resources thrown in their direction under every circumstance.  The problems in Puerto Rico are and have always been the failure of Democrats—and for that they can only blame themselves.

The NFL isn’t for the Players: Why Donald Trump is right–as usual

Part of making America great again is to give everyone something to be proud of.  Even in the case of the NFL the infusion of socialist thought has drowned out the respect we should all have for our flag, which is only a symbol, but largely distinguishes us as a people from the rubble of global awareness.  The forces that have wanted to destroy our sovereignty and turned us from Americans into some “global citizen” are the same that have desired to destroy the game of football which is unique to America and represents so much more to our culture than just scoring touchdowns.  Football is a game of capitalism, as I’ve said many times before in hundreds of articles.  Soccer as we think of it in America is a game that is very popular in countries corrupted with socialism—and represents that political philosophy dramatically—most obviously in the way the offside’s rule is established.  In football a player is offside’s when the defense jumps the snap count.  In soccer it happens when an offensive player gets behind the deepest player on a defense.  It’s as plain as anybody could make it, soccer favors regulatory constraints which is why the score is always so low, where football puts the burden on the defense—on regulatory resistance to stop an offense if they can.  The offense is meant to find creative ways to dominate a defense—and it is that basic essence which has made the world target American football as a game meant to be destroyed, and to have soccer replace it.

I would go so far to say that as spectators we don’t care about concussion protocols.  It’s not that we don’t care about the players lives, it’s just that we love the game of football more and we figure as fans that the trade-off to be able to shorten your life to play in the great arena of an American gladiator sport is worth it.  I can say that I have had the opportunity to deal with NFL players off the field and have liked them.  What I have personally witnessed at the Penthouse Club in Tampa Bay where players from the Seattle Seahawks and of course the hometown Buccaneers went to have a little fun after a big Sunday night game revealed why many of these young kids play such a dangerous game.  My wife and I were staying at the same hotel as the Seahawks were so we had an interesting behind the scenes look at life off the field in the NFL and I can’t think of a better time for young men to be treated like kings in the fast lane of life than what I saw happening to those NFL players.  Yes, it was a situation of depravity and all those players were living the life by choice—and they were being rewarded that night.  I had to shake my head knowing they would never live the kind of life that my wife and I did—but they didn’t care at the time.  They were millionaires in most cases and they had women climbing all over them willing to do anything just to get a little bit of it.  The Penthouse Club actually makes a pretty good steak and it was very close to our hotel so we had a front row seat to all the activity and from the vantage point of the NFL players, I could see they were having the time of their lives.  How many people would trade 30 to 40 years off their life to go through the experiences those guys was having?  Perhaps 99% of the population would if they were big enough, strong enough, and charismatic enough to have the opportunity to play in the NFL.  Knowing about all the potential for injury–they’d give up their arms and legs to have women crawl all over them like that just once in their life—not to mention for 3 to 5 years as a professional athlete—maybe longer for the lucky ones.

Payton Manning was always the good guy of the NFL, the guy who we most liked and respected.  He conducted himself as a great all American Boy Scout who was at the top of his field.  He was respected, lawful, and professional, the best that there was—which is why he became the spokesman for the NFL.  Payton was just vulnerable enough to be likeable, unlike Tom Brady who is just inconceivably clean, but professionally dominate.  But life in the NFL quickly degenerates once you get past those types of professional players.  The lifestyles they lead in the NFL are far more dangerous than ramming into other 270 pound men with their heads—from the conditioning, the diets, the stress of making the team each year for a chance to become a millionaire—they are expected to give up their health to play such a gladiator sport.  And most people if they could would trade those players in a minute for their long 70 to 80 year lives to live the NFL life for just 1 year.  To be loved and admired by a city, to have women on speed dial anywhere in the world who would do anything you wanted, and to have a press eating out of your hand everywhere you went.  To have access to the very best that life has to offer—so long as you are playing “the game.”   Most people would do it if they knew they’d die by age 30—and they’d die happy.  That is some of what we mean in America when we say live hard, die free.  It is a trait that comes from tasting freedom, and in the NFL nobody tastes it greater than those players.  In exchange we expect them to give us a good show.  We don’t expect to see a hard hit between two warriors on the field of battle only to have both put into a concussion protocol tent for examination, and a removal from the game.

It wasn’t Donald Trump who brought the politics into the game of football; it was all these progressive groups who have been year by year increasing their infection of attaching social causes to the fast life of the typical NFL player.   Now the concussion protocol standards have taken away our love of the game by softening it into nearly a game of flag football that could be played by girls, which is where all this is headed.  The critics of the NFL want to destroy the game and replace it with soccer, or to have women playing on the field with men, so they are trying to slow boil away the danger while hoping to retain the interest and it’s just not happening.  Trump was right to point it out; people want to see NFL players hitting each other.  We don’t want to see concussion protocols.  We don’t want to see players hurt necessarily, or ruined for life—but many of us understand what’s going on.  Most people would trade their boring lives in a second if they could walk into the Penthouse Club in Tampa and have some of the most attractive women in the world jump all over them such as what typical NFL players’ experience.  And for the girls, where else on earth could they make so much money but in a place like that.  Many of them come from areas around the world drowning in debt.  Beautiful girls from east European countries with exotic accents would have to sell themselves on the sex market anyway just to feed themselves due to the lack of economic activity in their home towns—due to the socialism that has destroyed their economies.  Who could blame them for coming to America to work at the Penthouse Clubs in Tampa, or New Orleans, or even in Vegas?  They have something that the millionaire NFL players want so the exchange is mutual.  It’s better for them that it’s not some middle-aged loser who is fat and disgusting buying their time than some young stud at the peak of physical condition that is willing to blow $50K per night on satisfying his fantasies.  Let’s face it, that’s what young men play the game for, and why we as parents have always signed them up for it—to live the dream even if it means a shorter life.  And we certainly don’t expect them to bitch about it.

What we are seeing is the player’s unions trying to soften up the game for reasons that are un-American, which we should expect from a socialist organization.  Football isn’t for the players—as I’ve said, they get the money and the wild life in exchange for their services.  Football is for the fans and it is the owners of these teams who are tasked with satisfying the market need.  They control the business of the NFL—not the players, not the lawyers, and certainly not the networks.  Without the owners nothing happens—and without the fans—nobody makes any money, and the girls at the Penthouse Club in Tampa have to live off tips from people who want to cheat on their wives, business people who are so stressed out and unhappy that they are miserable to spend time around, and married couples looking to spice up their lives a bit—then feeling guilty afterwards.  Nobody comes out well by softening up the NFL—except for the socialists who want to destroy it and thus to remove an American pastime from the concerns of a world that can’t compete with it.  Those people do want to destroy America—especially symbols of American capitalism such as what the NFL represents.  Believe me; they don’t care about concussion protocol either.  They aren’t doing it to save the players lives—they simply use that as the cover story to destroying the game itself and what it means to American society.  As is typically the case with Donald Trump—he is right in every point, and was correct to address the issue in a bold fashion.  Football is America’s game, and it is part of making America great again.  To do that we have to understand what it is we like about it.  And concussion protocols are not something we care about as fans-or the social causes of the players.  We just want to see them beat the hell out of each other to justify the high-priced beers and hot dogs on a wonderful October afternoon in America.

New Rules to the Game of Power: From Henry the VIII to the NFL–the world is changed forever

If you know anything about European history, or actually the history of anything human—you will find extensive evidence of people worshipping other people as their rulers.  It is something that is wired into our DNA—we seek masters to rule over us.  Even in America virtually every place of business has some semblance to their own version of the Game of Thrones—Which George R.R. Martin actually based on the War of the Roses in Europe.  People will do almost anything to gain a title that they can then use to acquire power over others and typically that is the name of the game.  When people acquire those titles and that power they have a right to rule over the minds of mankind in whatever capacity the title gives them as defined by our human history.  Such as, a village chief makes all the executive decisions that concern the culture of the people connected to that collection of people.  A CEO at a company performs the same type of function, and of course there are underlings who are always plotting and scheming to nock that person out of their seat so they can then acquire control of a company.   If people cannot become the CEO then they will usually do anything to acquire some seat of power under the CEO—in whatever capacity they can get—because the behavior is toward power acquisition and naturally assumes that the structure of that particular society will obey mindlessly the unspoken conformance to the rules of conduct that has been with us since the beginning of time.  In that pecking order politicians have always assumed that they were greater than say a CEO and thus ruled over all others because they controlled the rules in society that the CEO had to live by, and often this forces the businessman to contribute donations to the cause of the politician to gain assistance with the law giving the impression to all that in the rock, paper, scissor game of life, the politician was superior to the businessman, and that all people under those titles were to mindlessly follow their “betters” without question.

America, or the concept of it anyway, decided to revolt against this trend and provide people with the freedom to choose for themselves to rule themselves and this introduced a very confusing dynamic to the scheme of human endeavor.  It’s only been a few hundred years since this idea was created and compared to the many thousands of years of history within the human race, it shouldn’t be surprising that we are just now getting used to the idea.   Donald Trump is essentially the first president to ever be elected to a position of power based purely on the merit of his life—a free man living by his own inclinations and not given some seat of power by boot licking and heredity.  His political enemies have tried to frame his rise to power in that fashion, but it doesn’t stick because Trump is a man of his own making.  That makes him the most unique world leader in all of human history—which is the source of the anguish against him.

There is a lot of fear leveled at Donald Trump by those who have been playing their own version of Game of Thrones for years and have always thought that if they did this, or that—they’d acquire a seat of power and would then be given some authority over their peers—which they seek desperately.  There are a lot of psychological reasons for the insecurity that drives people to seek these seats of power, but for the context of this article, we must focus strictly on the desire to acquire power.   Donald Trump has changed the rules to the overall game of politics—and that has every establishment person upset because all the rules are changing to the “game” and they don’t want to adapt to it.

There is a secret to those who seek the most power through the acquisition of titles—most of them are notably lazy people.   They want to gain some title for which they can sit and boss other people around without being the smartest, fastest, strongest or most qualified person—and they count on fear to force everyone into compliance.  If merit becomes the dominating factor in acquiring power—as it should always have been—then new rules for acquiring power become mainstream and the lazy people of our species are at a loss.  That is why the establishment is and has always been against Donald Trump.  It is also why people will stick next to Trump no matter what he says or does, because Trump has a track record of success and he acquired his power based on it.

In the past people were so easy to destroy who had these positions of power because they always acquired their power through some sentiment—or some connection to others.  This gave the groupthink people leverage over the title seeker in case they ever stepped out of line.  If a politician slept with some woman while on the campaign trail and later they got out of control with their donors, or they voted incorrectly on something the violator could quickly be dispelled by scandal because what was given by emotional invisible rules could be easily destroyed by the same.  In the days of Henry the VIII if he wanted to overthrow the Roman Catholic Church from controlling his kingdom through the Pope he would marry a protestant rebel and use her to give rise to the movement against the church.  Then after the king had England’s politics wrestled away from the Pope and he was tired of his queen and wanted to change her to another he simply dreamed up chargers of infidelity against her so that he could cut off her head and marry a new woman.  What was given by sentiment and emotion was easily taken away—you see dear reader.

In politics the media has played their own version of kingdom building, they build people up, they tear them down and they use that leverage to control who has power and who doesn’t.  But that doesn’t work on Trump because the former Apprentice star has been through the fires of merit and has earned everything he became.   The media came to Trump to boost their ratings but to their dismay they never gained control of him because what was given was done so to acquire power from the natural aptitude of Trump.  The Apprentice went on to become a big success and introduced reality TV to an unsuspecting audience and would change entertainment forever.  Trump wasn’t cast to the top of the heap because of a bunch of executive producers.  He was already there.  NBC snuggled up to Trump always thinking that they’d gain control of him in some way like they did everyone else in history but it never happened.  Trump went on to become president because of his natural inclinations and is completely free of lobbyists, media influence, or peer groups which is the most terrifying aspect of his presidency to those who have spent their lives playing the games of power only to find out now all the rules have changed.

All the things Trump has said this previous week, from the Rocketman comment regarding North Korea to the blasting of the NFL for not requiring their players to stand during the National Anthem the president has done as a free person—and that is new to the stage of human achievement.  We like that Trump says those things because we feel those things ourselves, but have not had a seat at the table of power to communicate to others.  But in America we elect a president to represent us to the world, we don’t elect a king or a noble overlord—we elect a representative, and Trump represents all those who strive to have a merit based system of power acquisition so that we can actually solve problems in our government, not just to have a class of aristocrats to admire from afar who enchant us with entertainment as our “betters.”  I recognize no person on earth as my “better.”  And the people supporting Trump through thick and thin are of the same mind.  On the stage of history this is the first time this has happened, and it’s scaring the crap out of the world that has never had to deal with this elected phenomena.  Democracies have always paid lip service to this idea of a freely elected person to represent the masses, but always that person was easily controlled by traditional methods.   Now with Trump those rules are changed forever.  Our society will never be able to go back to the way it was—because the way it is, is so much better.  That is the pain you hear on the news from those who have always thought that if they did this or that they would be rewarded with seats of power.  Now those seats are meaningless making their lives meaningless because they have put so much of their lazy selves into that game that now they are left empty and staring into an abyss of future values that are beyond them.  Which is a very good thing.

Donald Trump’s ‘Atlas Shrugged’ Moment: Venezuela’s epic failure due to their commitment to socialism

 

I know, I write about Donald Trump a lot these days.  Yes there are many other things going on in the world—especially local issues,  but as I see it we are witnessing the greatest political trend change that the history of the world has ever seen—and I can’t think of anything more important.  It dosen’t do any good to chase the tail of something as long and elusive as our current social trends which are like a very long snake.  What Trump does today will have a tremendous effect on tomorrow, so it is important to capture those little moments as they occur.  Specifically it was the great United Nations speech that Donald Trump gave which illustrated so many positive things for American culture, but none as great as when the topic of Venezuelan socialism was brought forth and put on the world stage for all to see.

I was surprised years ago when so many people were upset that the great American novel Atlas Shrugged was being made into a movie.  I knew the filmmakers, and was a friend of the crew throughout the production and for them it was a love project.  They had a small budget in order to tell a gigantic story—an epic on the scale of Game of Thrones.  Yet Hollywood wouldn’t touch the project through a legitimate studio with A-list actors essentially because the media companies were so deeply contaminated with socialist and communist supporters that such a pro-capitalist story like Atlas Shrugged was never going to get “green-lit.”

Hollywood has always been a little left but it has only been recently that they were so overtly advocated out-right socialist—as a general philosophy.  Their A-list actors, even people like Harrison Ford, have stepped out of reality and onto the socialist band wagon because it is the social trend of Santa Monica valley these days.  If you go into a bar there by the pier talking about the merits of capitalism those weak-kneed she-males and braless bitches will be ready for a fight—they believe in socialism that much.  So when the independent filmmakers of the new Atlas Distribution Company wanted to make a movie out of one of the great American novels for which Atlas Shrugged is and has always been, all the studios laughed at them.  Many years before the studios laughed at Star Wars too, but that’s another story.  I only say that because “group think” does not understand how to make good movies, or how to detect social trends.  Individuals do.  Remember that.

I thought the movie attempt at Atlas Shrugged was ambitious and they managed to do a pretty good job getting the high points down in a visual form.  I would like to see a big budget Netflix series done for Atlas Shrugged that spans for 10 one hour episodes, because I think that’s what it would take to properly tell the story—but it was a bold attempt even as the entertainment unions pushed back hard on anybody associated with the project.  The production could not keep actors from one film to the next as the movies were divided out into three parts.  The actors were beat on so much by the rest of the Hollywood community that all three movies had a different cast and the only ones who signed up were actors looking for something to do.  It was a real challenge and showed me how bad Hollywood really had become.  All the friendly meetings I had with various people over the years flew right out the window as their true intentions were revealed during the production of Atlas Shrugged.

For those who have read the book you know what I’m talking about.  The modern situation in Venezuela is essentially the plot of the book.  A successful country (the United States in the story) is pushed into socialism by their government and the world plunges into darkness.  Once the government establishes things like price controls and root themselves into a severe crony capitalist market, the world falls apart and it is the point of Atlas Shrugged to identify why.  Essentially the “engines” of the world go on strike and that leaves everyone else starving—literally.  The beauty of Atlas Shrugged is that it does something that Karl Marx never achieved—it identified why some people make everything happen while others destroy the world around them—so if the makers of the world fail to participate, economies fail and countries wither away into dust.   The political Left has never come to grips with this phenomenon and this is the aspect of our civilization that is most important to our continuation into the future.  Marxism and all the fruits that fell from it like socialism, communism and fascism all turned out to be rotten short-lived fantasies first breathed by Sir Thomas More in his classic book Utopia—that were destroyed during westward expansion in the United States.   While Marx and his followers were pushing for labor unions to take over the world by controlling the means of production the railroads, the gold rush and the promise of private property in America used capitalism to fill the sky lines of the worlds next great cities like New York, Chicago and Los Angeles which until that period was just a border town–until the gold rush then the movie industry gave people a reason to live there.

Venezuela had been a pretty good place to live; it was a thriving country living off its oil reserves until Hugo Chavez brought socialism to their economy.   Once Chavez died a member of his inner circle Nicolás Maduro, a former bus driver (seriously) rose to power as a union leader and became the next president.  If you want to see what happens when labor unions get their way by controlling the “means” of production, just look what happened to Venezuela in just a few short years. As the state took over more and more of its industry, they became much less productive and their economy essentially died right in front of the world.  Now the people of Venezuela are starving—literally, and nobody seems to understand why, at least those who have advocated for socialism. Yet it is the nearly seventy year old book Atlas Shrugged that provided an almost page by page analysis for all to read—but the world watched and let it happen to Venezuela anyway.

What was remarkable about Donald Trump’s speech was that most of the people in that general assembly at the United Nations have emotional connections to socialism.  They are either members of Socialist International or they have been thinking about it.  Only the United States has maintained a defense of capitalism and our economy shows it.  The way for more countries around the world to prevent more people from being poor or from having terrible GDP numbers is to unleash capitalism and reject communism.  China’s communism only works if it attaches itself to a capitalist country and can keep the other nations around them poor so that they can maintain some form of price controls.  But if a country to the south like Vietnam were to adopt capitalism, or Cambodia, India or even North Korea—Russia and those types of places—China’s economy would sink because of their communist system.  What happened to Venezuela was that the price of oil went down and they couldn’t compete. That is all the unsaid story before, and no American president would strongly defend capitalism allowing everyone to shrug their shoulders as if they had nothing to do with anything happening to countries like Venezuela.  But when Donald Trump said what he did it put the issue on the front burner in a way nobody was prepared for, and it properly articulated the problem—boldly, people had to listen.  And that was a significant moment in the history of the world that will be remembered for many centuries.  I thought it was tremendous and it will prove to be bigger than anything that happens on the local level because that culture change will flow into the rest of the country rather rapidly.  And I love it!

Guns and Books: The keys to a happy and free civilization–Samantha Power’s guilt

I say it quite a lot these days, and I’ll continue to do so. If you have two main things in your life you can consider yourself a free person. The first is the ability to read and to use it to consume many books over your lifetime. Having the ability to read and use the knowledge gained from books can make a person nearly invincible—95% of the time. If you are smart, you can get through most anything in life, even physical threats—just with what you learn from books. If you put a smart person in an MMA ring with a beast of a world-class fighter—I will bet on the smart person every time. Because there are more tools to beating brute force that come from intelligence that severally put people who rely on just physical strength to get by in life. Then for that last 5% of the time—you need to own and know how to use firearms. The gun is the great equalizer in life, so by having that you can keep villainy away no matter what anybody may throw at you. That’s why in American society, those two things are what I’d say are the two most important elements to living a free life.

To prove my point just look at the mess Samantha Power is in, who used to be the UN Ambassador under the Obama administration. The academic radical used her position to spy on political rivals and essentially brought in most of our intelligence agencies in the process into a grand scheme that showed just how dangerous collectivism in any capacity can be. Most everyone involved in the federal government activity under the Obama administration told the same story revealed by the Power unmasking of Trump political players—which was the modern equivalent to a witch hunt as we’ve ever seen. Many pundits including Rush Limbaugh did a fabulous job of exploring the who, what, when and hows of this story—so my point here would be on the “why” it is necessary to never trust any institutional system that uses collective force to enforce a philosophy. Having the ability to read and to shoot takes away that power from these types of people and are paramount in stopping villainy as we detect it.

It should come as no surprise that fascists—such as the type the Democratic Party have always inspired to become were in the business of book banning and controlling knowledge—because they needed stupid people to follow them. Smart people who are well-informed would never follow these losers who rallied behind Samantha Power to unmask people connected to the newly elected President Trump. If it can happen to a sitting president with made-up chargers created to justify wiretapping, or any other spying the government wished to conduct on their quest to control political dialogue—then it can happen to any of us. What stops that behavior is of course a well-informed society where internet information is free and easy to access, books of all kinds are available on the open market, and people are free to assemble as the Tea Party did to share educational treasures uncovered during intellectual quests that inspire others to also gain knowledge.

The same people who want to limit what people read, and watch on television under the umbrella of free speech, are the same as those who are always demanding a control on firearms and want to ban personal guns. I personally think that people should be able to carry guns everywhere—that we should be able to wear them on our hips everywhere we go, even to weddings and to court appearances. If someone doesn’t have ill intentions toward you, nor you toward them—it keeps everyone honest. The gun banning people want to put themselves between you and a potential rival as a mediator taking away the responsibility for two parties to actually work out their problems allowing passive-aggressive activity to take control of the process of peaceful exchange replacing mutual respect for fear of the law.

It is highly unlikely that a person would pick a fight with another person if that other person was wearing a gun. It doesn’t matter how big they are, or what sex they may be—when people see a gun on their hip, respect for what that gun can do is the first thing on everyone’s mind—which forces all dealings with that person to be done at an elevated level of respect. If you take that respect away and replace it with fear of prosecution, then those who think they can buy and twist the laws of our land to their advantage may not be so hesitant to do something corrupt. This is clearly what we see in the case of the Obama administration using Samantha Power to commission the many weapons of government to attempt a coup against an American election. They did it because they didn’t fear that anybody would shoot them, and they figured they controlled the strings of government so what was a person like Trump going to do to them—so long as the media played along? That’s the kind of world you get when you take respect for other people out of the equation and replace it with an adhesion to fear. The more fearless, or less moral of the human species will always think they can gain an advantage over others if they are stupid, and unarmed. That’s why Samantha and her partners under the Obama administration thought they would get away with what they did. They never expected they’d ever get caught because at the time they controlled the law and most of the people they deal with were either stupid, or unarmed—likely both.

Carrying a gun isn’t about killing other people, its more about preventing other people from killing you. Just having it does most of the work for you which then frees up your mind to pursue more intellectual pursuits. When you don’t always have to worry about some power-hungry fool coming into your life to disrupt you in some way, you can then read books and contemplate bigger ideas. Some of the best people you’ll ever meet in life are those who read more than fifty books a year and also do a lot of shooting—like people in Montana, Wyoming, Idaho and in the Dakotas. They are not stupid people and they are mostly all heavily armed. You don’t see their cities being shaken to the ground in protests, and you certainly don’t associate them with any kind of crime. There’s a reason for that—and it starts with the gun and ends with the average intelligence of the people who tend to read more than other places in the country. Books and guns are the keys to a healthy and happy life and those who best utilize those two very simple things are those who end up most successful at the very foundations of existence. The proof is clear, and where those things are missing—such as in our Beltway culture, the worst that comes out of the human experience is prevalent. That is why Obama and the Democrats in general always look for ways to impose gun control. That is also why they have problems with free speech. They need people unarmed and stupid so that they can rule your minds. Once people are armed with knowledge and weapons, people like Samantha Power are just pests who can quickly be swatted aside, and that’s exactly what is happening in the age of Trump.

Who Knew there were Marxist Democrats in Butler County, Ohio: Jocelyn Bucaro attacking George Lang because she has nothing else

First of all, I didn’t think there were any Democrats in Butler County, Ohio.  Then I remembered that there is a Hustler of Hollywood store in Monroe, so there are probably some there.  There are probably some at the casino outside of the Lebanon prison, also in Monroe. There are school teachers who live in the area who are members of the radical Marxists labor unions—probably a few drug addicts who live in some of the local trailer parks—but other than that I didn’t know there were enough of them to actually have a Democratic Party in what is likely one of the strongest Republican areas in the country.  But there is and the Marxist radical leading it is Jocelyn Bucaro.  Jocelyn has opened her mouth regarding the Republican Party’s backing of George Lang who is poised to take the departing Margy Conditt state seat who just resigned to spend more time with her family.  George of course is someone I have always supported and has done a great job as a trustee in West Chester. Here’s the story the way the Journal News reported it:

West Chester Twp. George Lang is now the presumptive front-runner to succeed Ohio Rep. Margy Conditt, R-Liberty Twp., who resigns Friday.

Lang was the overwhelming recommended choice of the Butler County Republican Party’s Central Committee members that live in the 52nd Ohio House District, receiving 46 of 69 votes cast.

FIRST REPORT: Butler County lawmaker to resign in September

Butler County State Central Committeewoman Ann Becker, of West Chester Twp., received 19 votes, followed by Jeff Kursman, of Liberty Twp. (3), Dr. Anu Mital, of Liberty Twp., (1) and West Chester Twp. Trustee Lee Wong (none).

District residents of the GOP’s Central Committee listened to the five candidates seeking the party’s recommendation. There are seven candidates seeking the seat, but John Haberer and Grace Kendrick, both of West Chester Twp., did not seek the party’s recommendation.

Butler County Democratic Party Chairwoman Jocelyn Bucaro has expressed her disappointment in Conditt’s resignation and said it opens the door “to enable Republican Party insiders to anoint yet another successor who answers to party bosses and not the voters they’re supposed to represent.”

She later said Lang was “unfit to serve” in the Statehouse, alleging he “traded access” to local Republicans to aid the defunct Dynus tech company.

Some of Dynus’ executives were tried and found guilty of defrauding the county millions of dollars. Lang, who eventually became a Dynus executive after being a lobbyist for the company, was never indicted for his role in the company and was found not guilty on a perjury charge stemming from his testimony of former Dynus owner

I can say regarding George that he’s the last person who should be in jail over a crime and as to being fit for office, what he has done as a trustee in West Chester is something everyone should be proud of, and if he could do more of it from the State House in Ohio, then we’d all be better off.  I remember that Dyrus case and if there was ever a politically charged witch hunt like we are now seeing against the Trump administration, that was it, and I felt bad for what George and his wife Debbie had to go through during that perjury trail.  For the vile Democrat Jocelyn Bucaro to even bring it up shows the level of character that we are dealing with in that party.  If there was an ounce of guilt by George Lang the FBI would have found it and presented it as evidence during that two-year investigation.  A jury found George not guilty which for the Langs was a nerve-wracking experience.  If the jury had found George guilty he was facing several years in prison, so it was hard to stand through that experience.  We always knew it was a political hit job, but you never really know what the impact on your life will be when it is up to other people whether or not you go free.  George was accused of perjury simply to get at him and other members of the local GOP by political enemies; it’s as simple as that.  Yes it was extremely unfair, but George came out of it OK and he went on to make West Chester, Ohio one of the most business friendly regions in the country and now he wants to bring that experience to the State House as a congressional representative.

Democrats like Jocelyn and Joan Powell who are seeking one of the West Chester seats for trustee in this year’s election hate talk about business.  As foundational Marxists they really have only four terms they understand, American progressivism, socialism, communism or fascism—all which come directly from the pages of Karl Marx philosophy.  They want the public to own the means of production which has been proven to be an idiotic foundation of thought.  The “public” does not have superior intelligence over highly motivated individuals which is the foundational premise of the Republican Party established on the essentials of capitalism espoused by Adam Smith—from the period before Karl Marx.  You can just look at the GDP of the world’s nations and you can see quickly what works and what doesn’t.

Given that understanding it is a badge of honor if Democrats who are essentially functioning Marxists put a political hit on you, because it means you are doing something right. The way you can tell that George Lang is a good person—and he is because I have known him for quite a long time—is that the Democratic Party put the hit on him to begin with and in a flimsy attempt to stop his rise to a new and important state seat are trying to drum up an issue from the past for which he was found innocent, as their only ammunition in stopping him.  I mean what else is Jocelyn Bucaro going to do to let people in Butler County know there is even a Democratic Party?  Even liberals like Joan Powell and Lee Wong are attempting to put their name next to Republicans because without that—they wouldn’t get their names mentioned as serious contenders.  Nobody in Butler County who wants to be considered reputable, and serious, calls themselves a Democrat.

George is a pro business guy which is why Democrats came after him. Without business, there really isn’t anything for anybody to do—we’d all be cast back to the Stone Age.  People don’t move to areas where there is nothing going on—it is business first that makes an area “successful” or not.  People move to areas for the jobs that are in them not for the trees, creeks and rivers.  People who do move to areas for those kinds of things move out into the country.  But a culture that is associated with success–places like West Chester, or even New York City, are for the culture that comes from human innovation and that always is tied directly to business.  Marxists in the Democratic Party like Jocelyn Bucaro have no idea about how business works so they of course attack people who are involved in business, and George Lang is undoubtedly that kind of person. Having George operating at the state level is exciting to me because he understands business and would be a wonderful addition to the type of GOP that is forming under the very pro-business president, Donald Trump.  George is perfect for that role, but that is also why the Democrats attacked him.  For me, that’s good enough reason all by itself to vote for him.  But for the Marxist Democrats, George is someone to be feared because he’s not only a very pro-business guy, but he’s also a good person—and that is something that truly scares liberals.  That is why they have and will always attack him.

Joan the Hutt: Lee Wong and a former Lakota tax and spend liberal want control of West Chester as trustees

I was watching Star Wars with my grand-kids the other day while catching up on some news in the print media and I noticed that the big spender Joan Powell from the Lakota school board was seeking a seat on the West Chester Board of Trustees.  I was astonished that she’d come out of retirement to run for such an important seat, and given her track record even desired to put herself up to the scrutiny of public office.  But it’s her life, and she asked for it—because there’s a lot to pick on when it comes to Joan Powell.  That’s when I looked up to watch the movie again and thought it was astonishing how much she reminded me of the Star Wars character Jabba the Hutt—the vile gangster and villain from the old child targeted story about good and evil.  I know Joan better than most people do and I remember how she ran the Lakota school system like a thuggish gangster for the teacher’s union complete with back room deals and a tax and spend philosophy that was as maniacal as any liberal in America.  I know because I was part of a deal she was a part of way back in 2013 when a report at the following link came out showing that Lakota had declining enrollment and didn’t need a tax increase. Yet Joan the Hutt pushed for one anyway to give pay raises to the public employees she was supposed to be managing before she retired.   Read that report here.  The important parts of the report have been highlighted in yellow on pages 1 and 16:

Watch this little clip from Star Wars showing Jabba the Hutt making deals and trying to destroy her rivals.  Hutts in Star Wars are hermaphroditic so the female designation is appropriate in comparing the fictional villain from Star Wars to the real life con artist from Lakota.

Now watch this anti-Trump ad that Joan Powell the Hutt did for Hillary Clinton during last year’s presidential campaign.  Take away the flowers and the references to grandchildren, can you tell any difference? I can’t.

For context let’s go back to 2012, a group I was running with several other people called No Lakota Levy had successfully defeated several of the tax increases that Joan the Hutt tried to implement from 2005 all the way up to that point in time.  The teacher’s union was Joan the Hutt’s network and they wanted a pay increase.  The Lakota school board had to get a tax increase passed to appease those government employees and they weren’t going to do that so long as I was the face of No Lakota Levy.  Joan orchestrated through her vast network of media contacts and feminist groups a hit job against me, not much different from when Jabba set a trap for Luke Skywalker to fall into the Rancor pit to be eaten alive.  Only in real life the terrible beast I had to fight was a bunch of tax levy supporters who were part of a vicious tax and spend cult ran by Joan the Hutt.   Like the fictional movie, metaphorically, the same result occurred.  I ended up in a blistering exposé meant to destroy me in every way possible because of my involvement with No Lakota Levy.  Joan wanted to remove me from the political scene so that they could pass a levy at Lakota.  Some members of my group sided with Joan the Hutt but little to their dismay I was more popular afterwards than before.  People appreciated that I stuck to my guns to defend them from the vile clutches of this West Chester liberal and her legions of tax levy supporters.   In spite of the extremely negative press, the Joan Powell led school board knew they couldn’t get a levy passed with my name in the papers every day so they had to try something new.

Behind the scenes Joan the Hutt wanted to make a deal with me using school board members I had been supporting and members of the No Lakota Levy group.  She wanted to negotiate a two-year ceasefire on the levy fight.  I thought that was a good idea so I did my part of the deal which was to not campaign against Lakota for that two-year period of time and Joan the Hutt wouldn’t attempt another tax increase.  Meanwhile Joan the Hutt and her legions of levy supporters went hard to work paving the way for a community consensus on a tax increase hiring a progressive firm to go around and soften up the voters for another levy attempt which shouldn’t have taken place until 2014.  Taking only one year off from the levy fight Lakota went for another levy in 2013 knowing that if that report referenced above got out to the public that people would never support a tax increase.  So they broke their deal with me and went for their raises for the teacher’s union in fall of 2013.

Joan the Hutt by that time had split up the No Lakota Levy group the same way she tried to split up Republicans over Donald Trump in favor of crooked Hillary Clinton so the tax increase just barely passed.  Joan the Hutt knew that if my group had stayed together that she would have never won so she used all the levers of power to do whatever she had to do—including destroying me if possible—to give her public employees a pay raise when it was clear from the report that Lakota needed to actually cut teachers—not giving them a pay increase.  Joan the Hutt has shown on many occasions that she can have a propensity toward vile conduct to achieve her tax and spend desires and to my experience what she did at Lakota was no different from what a gangster might do for a criminal enterprise.  The double-dealing, the vicious use of legions of blood thirsty supporters and a facade of a serene grandmother to hide it all when reality indicated a vile underground network of thugs for which she was the leader.

West Chester under the guidance of Mark Welch and George Lang have produced budget surpluses and low taxation for many years now leading to an economic boom that has been unique to similar areas around the country seeing much slower growth.  But with such great numbers come the thieves and bandits who want a free ride and to seize that growing wealth so they can pass it out to their criminal underworld.   There is a third trustee at West Chester named Lee Wong who you will find often trying to get a free meal who needs a partner in crime in West Chester to get a needed second vote to plunge the community into chaos.  Lee wants to pass those surpluses produced into that public sector underworld for which Joan the Hutt has such a vast network.  You might have heard of Lee’s name before as it is often associated with scandal and treason such as the efforts he committed himself to recently in defending a woman fired from her job for giving secrets to China.   People on his side think Lee’s a hero for standing up for a public sector worker, Republicans see an alarming trend in Lee that he seems always associated with scandal and bad decisions rooted in Democratic behavior hidden behind a mask of conservatives that he knows he needs to even attempt to win any office in Butler County.  Like most public employees what Lee shares with Joan is a love for attention, taking money from those who have it and giving it to people in their inner circles of power to keep them loyal and close.  Those two see an opportunity to have a two vote count in West Chester to get control of the surpluses that have been produced by good management so that they can expand their bases of power—just like gangsters do.

The thing to do would be to keep Joan the Hutt out of office and send her back to her supposedly quit life for which she indicated in her pro Hillary Clinton commercial.  The experiences I have provided are just one example of the way she operates as a person and you have to wonder about someone like her who desires to get her hands on the levers of power to even run for such an office.   But for people who just can’t help themselves the good efforts of Mark Welch and George Lang are too attractive to avoid.  For people like Joan and Lee those surpluses are ways to make friends and obtain more free meals around town, to get a respect they can’t give themselves through merit based work.  George and Mark are privately successful so their roles as trustees have been about as pure as anyone could hope politicians to be—and that is why West Chester has been successful now for a period of years.  The criminals who want a few more friends and a way to expand their influence can’t help but want to put their teeth into that surplus to work their maniacal plans for government expansion and double-dealing drama for which their naturally corrupt minds can’t avoid.   Yes, Joan the Hutt is back and she wants to be fed a steady stream of tax money to sustain her big dreams of a vast syndicate of liberalized activism hidden behind a mask of Republican Party affiliation.  Those kinds of things can be difficult to see in reality when people shake hands, but when you watch fantasy films geared toward children, like Star Wars, it’s easy to see that in West Chester we have our own version of the popular villain Jabba the Hutt.  And she wants to become a trustee in 2017.

Oh, and in that last video, do you know why dear reader that Lakota didn’t go for that levy in 2017?  Because Joan the Hutt retired from the school board.  Miraculously after she left the board, Lakota’s finances were straightened out.  Just keep that in mind when voting in November.

The Many Achievements of Trump: How you know the media has been lying

How do you know they are lying? Because “they,” the mainstream media—so-called—won’t tell you all the good things that Donald Trump has so far done as president which Sean Hannity so wonderfully articulated on his television show, seen below. Hannity also showed the extreme level of hatred that the same MSM showed toward Trump’s various speeches over the last couple of weeks. I watched all those speeches and I’m hardly a right-winged lunatic and there were only good things expressed in each of them. There was nothing, “unhenged” in the contents that showed a president unfit for office or bordering on insanity. That’s how you can know the truth, because reality does not reflect what a majority of the news outlets reported, and that makes it obvious that there is something very devious going on.

Obviously I was no Obama fan. But during his first six months I had hopes that he might pull back the regulations on stem cell research and maybe cheerlead the nation a bit. I gave him a shot really for the first year. Even as the storm clouds of decent from the Tea Party started to gather in 2009 I was willing to give the guy a chance, until he proved that he was simply an Alinsky change agent looking to overthrow America from a legislative perspective. I would expect the same treatment of Trump from the political left and he’s not getting it.

Trump hasn’t been in office long enough to make any real mistakes so the rhetoric exhibited by the political left in voluminous detail by the MSN is an obvious sign that there is more to the story than just political ideology in conflict. We’re talking about long-established plans toward a different kind of America that has been rejected by voters through Trump and are crumbling in front of their faces, and they are furious about it.
I’m here to tell you that if these people are this freaked out that there is more they have been hiding that hasn’t been yet revealed, and that means to us that we thankfully elected Donald Trump at just the right time. Already Trump has done more than most presidents hope to do in four years so there will be much more to cheer on soon. But the viciousness of the media towards Trump says everything about their intentions. It’s important that we stick with the president to undo all that these insurgents have planned behind our backs for over a century.

The Famous Trump Tower Press Conference: Protecting value from those desperate to steal it

As if Donald Trump didn’t already have my support as President of the United States he certainly solidified it on August 15, 2017 during that now famous press conference at Trump Tower.  After seven years of writing on this blog almost every day over that entire time publishing millions and millions of words—for free—because I passionately want to see problems fixed—FINALLY we have someone in the White House who gets it.  Trump understands the situation clearly and he can articulate it.  He has no problem taking on any one any time any where taking on entire ominous institutions in the process.  I’ve had a taste of walking in Trump’s shoes and I can relate to how tough it is to be him and face reporters who are hostile agenda driven maniacs that own the media and the public perception of you.  I know how hard it is to convince other people in your political party to stand up for what’s right and not to bite on the Saul Alinsky tactics and for many, many decades I have frustratingly preached and waited for other people to get it—and finally I can see that Trump does.  After the hounding he took from the media for two solid days after his comments about Charlottesville he arrived out of the elevator of the luxury building he created and pretty much flattened the media that greeted him there with an impromptu press conference that was just magnificent.  If there was a bunch of garbage clogging the drain to the swamp Donald J. Trump yanked it out with this press conference so the muck could flow again.

I couldn’t have said any of that better myself. Trump hit all the high notes—the value of preserving historical monuments, the agenda of the press, a defense of his timeline, condemnation for all the sides involved because they were all out for no good.  Trump did defend the moderates who weren’t parts of the white supremacists and the Black Lives Matter crowd.  He praised the grieving mother of the young lady who was killed.  He even promoted his winery that is in Charlottesville all in the same string of sentences.  It was truly magnificent!  Nobody could write a novel or a movie to capture this spiritual awakening that we are all undergoing through the Trump presidency.  The exasperated looks on the faces of the news commentators and print media was priceless.  Then to top all that off Trump put out a Tweet targeted at Jeff Bezos dodging taxes with his online store Amazon.com.  The reason was because Bezos owns The Washington Post which has been a personal blog for the rival billionaire.  Talk about hitting back ten times harder, Trump did it and I couldn’t be prouder of him.  Not as a president of my country but as a fellow human being who is 70 years old and doing the right things for the entire human race.

Personally I like Amazon and Jeff Bezos, but I can understand where Trump is going. If I had to pick teams I’d pick Trump over Bezos any day but I always cheer for productive people.  And Bezos is abusing The Washington Post to instill a progressive agenda that suits him in a global way that I’m not interested in.  The battle that is currently taking place is like a plot from all my favorite stories all rolled up into one.  It is Atlas Shrugged, The Fountainhead and War and Peace spread out on a grand scale that is much more interesting.  As Trump gave his press conference news came that North Korea was backing down from their nuclear escalation threats which was yet again another victory for Trump—and for us all.  When was the last time a president told some maniacal country like North Korea that they were going to get their ass kicked and they actually listened?  Trump made it look easy—because in the hands of a competent person—it was relatively speaking.

The reason this was such a spectacularly relevant activity is because much of what Trump articulated is part of an unspecified menace that I have been covering for most of my adult life. I’ve always seen it clearly, but most people don’t, yet they suffer from it immeasurably.  As I’ve referred, I have had my own experience with this kind of thing and have witnessed very powerful people buckle under this name calling pressure that the terrorist types on the political left have always used to advance their cause.  Even though I know the tactics and have been personally unaffected by them the people around me have all too often fallen victim—and it always amazes me.  In my situation I witnessed the movers and shakers of my community, and the leaders of the Republican Party be completely frozen by this exact technique that is being used now against Trump.  In my case it was in calling me a sexist because a reporter strung together a bunch of things I had said in different places to paint a picture that provided a feeding frenzy to my political opponents.  I had no problem with the massive social pressure that was unleashed on me, but what did surprise me was how quickly my partners distanced themselves from me like a bunch of wimps.  I showed that I was willing to stand and fight doing whatever had to be done to win—in many cases on their behalf and they didn’t even have the courage to stand behind me.  They only wanted to cave in and ask for peace because they thought that was the way for them to achieve a protection of their bottom line—in a business sense.  I was truly shocked how cowardly they were in the face of just name-calling by those on the political left.

I said many times up to that point and many times since that the way to beat these crazy leftists is by hitting them harder than they hit you and letting them know that words and name-calling isn’t enough. Much to my surprise again, the masses just didn’t get it—those who were either business leaders or political leaders—or both.  They felt they had too much to lose to fight such a fight so their tendency was always to surrender to the radicals in their communities.  The reason was that they had something to lose while those seeking to destroy them had nothing to lose.  I told a bunch of them at dinner one night this cause and effect in a way I felt they could understand what was happening to them.  It was a nice dinner and I had a captive audience, so I said, “say you are a responsible husband and you work hard to provide for your family and are busy late into the night everyday during your income building years.  Your wife gets a little bored and wants attention and along comes some devil-may-care rock n roller who travels from town to town and meets your wife at the grocery where she thinks—this would be an exciting adventure.  So she starts seeing this guy while you’re off kicking ass making money.  You are busy building a life and you have a lot to lose.  But this little punk, the rock n roller, he has nothing to lose, only things to gain.  So in the relationship with your wife—he has the natural advantage leaving you vulnerable to her.  Now you could divorce her, but then she’s going to get half of everything you’ve worked so hard for—and everything you’ve put into her will be lost also making the relationship a terrible waste of time.  So what do you do?  The tempting thing to do would be to ask the guy to leave you and your wife alone and hope that he respects you enough to comply.  But if he doesn’t then it might pay to actually find a way to appease him so you can have your life back.  That is what the political left do to Republicans.  That is how they continue to beat conservatives time and time again.  They have nothing to lose and we always have all the assets because we work hard and save our money, living our lives in a way that is always vulnerable to insurgents who might want to steal off our efforts.”

They liked the story. We were all at Jags having a nice steak and the waitress was filling our glasses next to the fireplace as the snow fell outside, so I continued, “I’ve learned in my life, very early on, that the best way to get rid of guys like that is to—well–get rid of guy like that.  Make sure there is no way to trace him back to you when you do get rid of him.  Don’t give him what he wants.  Just erase him from the earth—and remember, he asked for it—right?  After all, you didn’t ask the little bastard to come into your life and threaten your well-being.  He did on his own accord in spite of the warnings, so you have to take care of that situation swiftly, and boldly.  That’s always how I function.  You can’t play patty cake with those types of people.  And if you give in to them they’ll be back next week asking for not only your wife, but your daughter—your car, and your guns.  You can’t take a pacifist stance on those types of people and those are who make up the political left—hippies, rock and rollers, drug addicts, college professors, anarchists, race baiters, moochers of every kind—just degenerate personalities who have nothing to lose and only to gain by taking something from you because you work hard and have things of value.  They are degenerates who function from a vast evil of collectivist philosophy and there is no reasoning with them.  The conservative philosophy that I function by and that is emerging with Trump as president expects to win.  We don’t do white flags of surrender like John Kasich, Rob Portman and Mitch McConnell.

Trump did well to stand against the tide and not to back down. He knows at least that people like me are out there supporting him and I know I’m not the only one.  Trump doesn’t get to see those people very often so much of what he’s doing he is doing it without the benefit of light to help him.  That makes all this that much better.  And I couldn’t be more proud.  Trump is doing what he is, things are changing forever.  We will always look back on these times and say that this is where things changed.  We went from a liberal society controlled by these terrorists through name-calling to a society that began to stick up for itself following the example of Trump—and it’s about time.  I am more proud than ever to call Trump my American president.  It takes a lot of guts to do what he’s doing and even more not to complain about it.  For that I am very grateful.  I’d be happy to do it if someone like him didn’t come along—but I’m very happy he did.  It gives me faith that the human race might not be so bad after all.

The Demons of Charlottesville: Screams from the evil trying to seduce us all to sleep

It took me a couple of days to get my mind around the extreme hypocrisy on full display in the wake of the Charlottesville racism issue in Virginia. I thought Donald Trump did a great job of addressing the nation just a few hours after violence broke out between the usual Black Live Matter communists and the Nazi socialists fighting over the removal a Robert E. Lee statue in that extremely liberal town.   At the time that Trump spoke he kept his statements general because after lunch on a Saturday afternoon it wasn’t yet known who ran over whom.   Was it the same ol’ radicals from Ferguson and Baltimore—or was it the skin heads, and Nazi fascists?  Trump couldn’t have been sure until much later and it was at that point that even Republicans were criticizing the president for not specifically identifying the white nationalists—as if he were associated with them.  It truly was an amazing display of evil—not in the violence at Charlottesville which was despicable in and of itself—but in the mass volume of the media propensity to advance a false plot against Trump that was truly vile.  Wasn’t it just a few weeks ago where a Bernie Sanders supporter shot up a bunch of Republicans at a baseball game, and a few months ago where Kathy Griffin held up the bloody severed head of a fake Donald Trump—and Snoop Dogg put out a video showing the mock assassination of our new president?  What we all witnessed in the wake of Charlottesville was a new kind of evil which was much more sinister than the kid who ran into a mob of communist radicals in a clash of leftist maniacs gone wild.

Again I was very proud of Donald Trump—he did all the right things at all the right times during the crises and the people who came out in criticism against him are the people who are protecting the swamp we are all trying to drain.  If you wanted to root out the Never Trump types who are holding up legislation in congress to prevent the President’s agenda from being implemented then just listen to those who criticized Trump so quickly.  They had an agenda against Trump and they used the death and injury of people at this tragic protest as a way to advance their selfish agenda.

There were many times in just the past eight years that Barack Obama took many days to respond to a tragedy on the scale of Charlottesville and when he did he often didn’t come close to providing an adequate statement.  The media, even the conservative media, never went this crazy over anything any previous president has said on a national stage.  This attitude against Trump is a whole new category of hate revealed through a swarm of aggression born from sheer evil.  It was a truly magnificent display of pure malevolence.

Trump revised his statement on Monday, August 14th to include all the white supremacy groups that the media had been criticizing him for not specifying.  I didn’t think he should have done so—he should have just let his Saturday statement stand.  After all, he addressed the real issue correctly the first time and nothing he could or would say would matter.  These parasites were going to use anything he said as a way to attempt to paint him into a corner.  The media and many of the Never Trumpers who lost to Trump during the 2016 campaign wanted to pin the president to white supremacy as their last-ditch effort to stop the movement which elected him.

The “alt-right” movement is not what makes up the Trump campaign.  White supremacists, Nazis, and the KKK radicals are all leftovers of southern Democrats and it is true that Hitler took notes from these people to advance his purge of Europe of people he didn’t want in his pure German society.  The people gathered in Charlottesville were all aspects of liberalism, the Black Lives Matters people were the hard-core communists while the Nazis were the socialists and the media framed them in their coverage as the extreme right and extreme left as if we all lived somewhere in between.  In that way they attempt to put us all into some crazy fringe of leftist radicalism and by default we must then defend our innocence from being too close to either of those fringe groups.  But, in reality, most of us are nowhere even near thinking like those two sides of the same idiotic coin.

Trump showed leadership early in the crises and it was a positive effort—in a sane world.  But we are not living in a sane world.  We are dealing with an evil that hides behind the pain and suffering of others to an extremity that is baffling to normal people.   It baffled me to see that evil so alive and desperate as they thought they had Trump pinned up against the ropes over doing what was expected of him during a crises. Trump didn’t say anything wrong. The skin heads, the communists, the people who wanted to take down the Robert E. Lee statue, the Mayor of Charlottesville, the Nazi lovers all the leftist losers who were in those city streets ready to fight for varying degrees of leftist philosophy were present to do damage and hurt others.  Trump had to be general in his statements given the level of evil present in Charlottesville.  Trump did the right thing—the media showed their real game plan perhaps too audaciously.

I’ve referred to it before but there is a wonderful scene from a great Akira Kurosawa film called Dreams where there are three mountain climbers caught in a snow storm high in the Himalayas.  They’ve lost their base camp in the storm and were dying in the extreme cold.  The leader found himself seduced by a beautiful ghost who came to his side to ease him into death.  She sings him to sleep gently and seductively pushing him into death.  But, being the leader that he was, he decides to fight back and once the ghost realizes that she’s not going to get her way, she turns into a skeleton and screams angrily at the leader then vanishes into oblivion.  Once gone, the storm clears and the leader is able to wake up his friends saving them from death as well.  As the sun came back out they realized that their base camp was always only about 20 feet away the whole time.  While they had only moments before been ready to die out of desperation, now they saw clearly that they were always so close to safety—but couldn’t see it for the chaos.  That is what we see happening, the demons of our lives are hiding in this chaos and now they have been exposed and are screaming out pain that they cannot get us to follow them to our death.  And in the aftermath of Charlottesville we will also see all along our base camp has always been right next to us.  When we do, as it’s being revealed right now, we will learn that it was never in between the communists and socialists but in the warm bed of conservatism which exists well to the right of the skin heads and Nazis.  That is where America lives and that is what Trump represents in our great republic, for which we stand.
